    We purchased all new windows from Milgard in March of 2021 via Weathersby windows. Two of the windows were not the correct size at installation and it took us years to get Milgard to confirm these were the incorrect size and, since that has finally occurred in 2023, we have still yet to get them corrected. They keep telling us they are on backorder and canceling the DAY OF our appt that was scheduled months out to get it corrected. We have had 3 years of increased cooling and heating costs and warm and cold rooms because these windows were the wrong size.

    There have been multiple attempts to get these corrected where they bring the wrong size again or tell us it is back ordered. They have fixed one of the two now and we are still awaiting a new date for the back ordered one while we watch Milgard windows get installed all around us. Correcting their errors has not been a priority and I would never work with this company again. It has cost us a lot of energy costs when we purchased them to better insulate our house.

    Milgard took 2 months to respond to my warranty claim. Left me a message saying the repair was schedule and to check my email. I checked my email and it said the warranty is void because I'm not the original owner. I called and they said any changes to title voids the original homeowner warranty. I explained that I put it in a trust and am still the original owner and they told me it's in the fine print where that voids the warranty.

    We are the 2nd owners of the house. Since we are the 2nd owners, Milgard does not guarantee the faulty windows. Only the original owners. I filed a claim & emailed the company a few times & they never got back to me. When I finally got them on the phone, I was told since I am the 2nd owner they are not under warranty.

    Long story short; I wrote a nasty review when I did not hear back from them. My parents died, house for sale, paperwork says warranties do not pass from original owners. Everything was so close but I fully expected them to say sorry, no warranty! Due to some unfortunate problems, the company has been more than busy trying to take care of everyone, both new and existing customers for over a year at least. I submitted another request as the home has just sold and new owners wanted windows replaced but agreed to house as is. Milgard will not only replace the 2 windows, but will service any problems the new owners may discover prior to the service date. This is absolutely unheard of in this day and age; everybody out for themselves. Milgard is upstanding, genuine and will be here for a long time to come with this exceptional business practice. You will not regret being a Milgard Customer for life!

    We are new owners of a 2 year old home with Milgard windows. All windows on one side of the house did not have holes to drain water and are faulty. Windows are not draining properly which allows water back into the house. First tech was brought out and their fix was to drill holes in the frame. Then when that didn’t work we wait 2 more weeks for another appointment to be made. Now they are requiring us to pay for removal of window for their further inspection. They will not bring out a new window which will require us to pay for two times on removal and replacement of window. They are terrible to work with and trying everything they can to not find replace their windows that are still leaking and causing damage in the house. Stay away from these windows and this company!!

    We purchased a house full of Milgard Ultra Windows and doors in 2007, with a Lifetime warranty. Our 3 casement windows are having nothing but troubles. There is a large gap beneath the casement window, between the window and the frame, enough to stick a thumb between. Our house is seismically retrofitted. One of the flimsy pieces between the window and the gap of the frame has broken/failed. This window is not easily accessible from outside, nor is it a window that receives much use; however, Milgard will not honor the warranty, nor replace that window.

    While each of the casement window handle parts have been replaced under warranty, the broken window from the design flaw, is something they will not honor. Another casement window is having issues closing tightly, again, something they have decided not to honor under warranty. Buyer beware of Milgard casement windows, they have a design flaw, per our contractor. As a result, he will no longer recommend them. Be leery of their warranty.

    Milgard claims to have a lifetime warranty. In our house, we have a failed sliding glass door where the internal coating has failed. It is mottled, blotchy and hazy. This is a known failure within Milgard, yet they simply take forever to respond to a warranty claim and then find a reason not to honor their warranty. Buyer beware. There are hundreds of people out there with the same issue that I have had to endure. Milgard Case Number **.

    We purchased our 2006 home from the builder (Cecil & Ray Homes Inc.) in December 2012 and moved in January 2013. When we inspected the home prior to the purchase, we noticed a valance in one of the master bedroom windows was not working. The seller had a representative from Milgard (which the company they purchased all of the windows from) come out and fix the valance around the time we took possession of the home.

    Over the ten years that we have lived here, we have had a number of windows go bad. When the first one happened, Mr. ** told us that all the windows had an original homeowner lifetime warranty under Milgard, so we reached out to them on their website for assistance. While it took many months for them to respond for each incident, we made arrangements with a local Milgard representative to schedule a time for their window crew to come out and replace the failed windows. In two of those incidences, Milgard questioned whether or not we were truly the original homeowners. We explained what we knew about the home when we purchased it, which was that it was also used as a model home for a period of time within the Nottington Creek Subdivision of Olathe, KS, and the home was vacant during a large portion of the 2009 – 2012 recession.

    I also submitted a copy of our purchase contract and settlement statement from the title company to prove we purchased the home from the builder, and the builder and the neighborhood developer also emailed the Milgard representative directly to certify that we were in fact the original homeowner. This information seemed to satisfy Milgard representatives. They agreed that the timeline made sense and that the evidence provided was enough proof for our lifetime warranty. It was disappointing that we had to go through that nonsense two of the four times with them.

    Fast forward to May 2022 when we had a balance go out in another bedroom. We contacted Milgard via their website as we had done four other times, and five months after we submitted our request on their website, they contact us and told us we no longer had a lifetime warranty because they discovered the builder's sister resided in the home for a few weeks/months during that six-year vacant period while she was having a home built which makes her the first homeowner. That does not matter. We purchased the home directly from the builder, and Milgard’s warranty specifically says "Original Homeowner".

    In the legal world, words matter in all warranties, and nowhere in any of the Milgard warranties do they state ‘first renter’ or ‘squatter’. When we purchased the home, it was brand new in all respects such as us adding toilet paper and towel rods in each bathroom, window features in almost all of the rooms, a refrigerator, etc. We have repeatedly tried to plead our case and have someone come out and fix the window valance, but Milgard has refused to be responsive to our requests.

    We purchased over $25,000 of the Trinsic series windows from Milgard for a new home build. At the time we placed the order for the windows, Milgard's lead time to deliver windows was 6 months. By the time the new construction was ready for the window installation, it was mid-winter and cold. The vinyl windows were like brittle and chipped when installed. Almost every one of the 33 black vinyl window frames has a defect. As a result, the black frames have bright white showing where they chipped. When contacting Milgard for support we were told they would do nothing to resolve the quality issues because the windows were ordered too long ago. Milgards feedback is to touch up the chips with a black marker. I would highly recommend purchasing elsewhere. Milgard does not stand behind their product or support their lifetime warranty.

    Like most other reviews listed here for warranty service requests… it comes with loads of expended time and marginal, if any, response. As one quickly recognizes by their website the “warranty” has been modified over the years. I would imagine Gary Milgard is rolling in his grave to see how the new ownership has taken his namesake company from a “we build people” and make a great window culture to what it is today. We have a broken patio door lock and simply want the lock so WE can change it out… opened service request on 1/3 and no communication yet.

    We are a multiple time purchaser with full home installs from reputable certified M dealers purchased from 2002-2015 mostly their Ultra product line. Would agree we have had negligible issues with any of the products but when called upon the service area is non responsive and shirks responsibility. I would have “Clearly recommended them as the Best“ but you are only was good as the service you provide. Buyers there are many options for windows so don’t rely on the warranty and service piece in your decision.

    This company replaced some windows in a neighborhood home. When they left, they did not secure their truck properly and deposited a huge trail of sharp broken glass along our neighborhood street and then onto connecting streets for over one mile. Calls from the neighbor who had the glass replacement and from our HOA were not responded to, despite the emergency nature of the situation. Ultimately, a team of neighbors was left to do all the cleanup over many hours of multiple days. This is an extremely sloppy and incredibly irresponsible company. Avoid like the plague.

    We ordered Milgard windows for my parents in 2015 and have several problems with them leaking. We have another window leaking into a bedroom this year and a big storm is coming and all they have to say is that they do not do emergency service. That I have to create an online request. When I submitted an online request I received an automated reply that it may take several weeks to process our request and that if this was an emergency to call the 1-800 number. I am not usually one to complain but this is ridiculous! BUYER BEWARE!!

    Contacted Milgard and resolved matter with their warranty department in Tualatin OR. Warranty exclusions for broken glass was somewhat ambiguous in context (in my opinion) and I misconstrued the applicable coverage. I don't know why earlier glass breakage was covered, but it's time to move on.

    Filed claim for cracked inner window pane. No apparent cause. I'm the original owner of the house bought in 1993. Windows have full lifetime warranty to original property owner. The claim was rejected with statement that all glass breakage is unwarrantable-regardless of cause. In my opinion, this contradicts the published warranty for windows bought between March 1, 1988 and Oct 1. 1995. Only exclusions detailed for this time period are for misuse, improper installation or acts of nature. To my knowledge, none of these conditions have been substantiated, and no physical examination has been undertaken aside from a couple of nondescript photos submitted with the claim. A previous claim for a cracked window filed in 2016 was covered by warranty without question. It appears Milgard's reputation for customer service is slipping. A company's reputation is only as good as it's customer service!

    We recently purchased top of the line Fiberglass Milgard casement windows for our remodel which came with a lifetime warranty. All of our new windows are fading in color. The dark espresso color is turning white. We attempted to file a claim, but Milgard outsourced their warranty to department to a third party. A technician showed up who told us the paint was not covered; he had no clue about the warranty and hardly knew anything about Milgard products. The warranty company then came back and said they would paint our windows. This is not an option for us. Beware of Milgard’s warranty.

    Milgard does not stand behind their windows. I had a full house of Milgard windows installed and the frame on one of them started cracking. I filed a warranty claim based on the fact that the warranty for the windows said this was clearly covered: "fiberglass frames: 10 years for excessive peeling, checking, cracking, chalking, fading, or color change."

    After waiting a month for Milgard to respond to the claim, I ended up having to call them. After a couple hours on hold and getting hung up on by the first person that picked up, I finally got to someone. The entire conversation was the company trying to get out of paying for a warranty claim. First they claimed it was shipping damage. After I mentioned it had been installed for quite some time and there hadn't been damage the entire time, they decided to go away and then claim it was still not covered because it was a 'nonmanufacturing defect' and that the person I was speaking to was denying my claim. If their warranty claims cracks in the frame are covered, I'm confused how a crack in the frame of my window couldn't be covered. So, now I guess I have to pay for a new window to get installed. In any case, if you're looking for new windows, I'd avoid Milgard in the future. They clearly don't stand behind their products.

    I am a lic. General contractor in the Lincoln ca area. I have installed Milgard windows for many years with no issues. 0. Now I am replacing windows in my mom's house she has owned since new. After a 4 month wait they cancel the window replacement (under warranty) the day before and reschedule for another 2 months later. Being a contractor in Del Webb Lincoln Hills I have seen this many times. Same game. Schedule and cancel. Original owners are few in Del Webb now that it is going on 20 yrs. This has me reconsidering the product I choose. I have used milgard most of the time and the lifetime warranty is nice as long as your original owner. Windows in question have become fogged up in between the glass. The windows look like someone tried to clean them and didn't get them dry. Mike

    Milgard windows fogged and Tuscany French doors leaked and they did not honor the warranty. The warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on. They always find an excuse to claim it’s not covered by their warranty

    We placed a warranty repair order in 3/21 with Millard customer service. Numerous appointments have been scheduled only to be cancelled on the day of the appointment with no new rescheduled appointment available when customer service calls. As well as to no reason as to why. Again today we received the text message confirming our appointment only to have it cancelled 15 minutes prior to our appointment time. Please stop scheduling appointments you have NO intentions to keep. Be accountable!

    Contacted our local dealer for replacement windows. A month later they had not arrived, because the rep did not order them. Called their main office in Washington state. A nice lady said she would order them. A month later, they are not here. She says it will be 3 weeks more because--she hadn't actually ordered them. They "don't do" rush orders, even when they are at fault. We are wondering if this is actually a scam to save the company money. They simply say they'll order them again and again but they do not. We're going to be 3 months in and no replacement windows and nobody at Milgard cares. The worst, most inefficient, unconcerned customer care you will ever find. Buy from someone who honors their promises...Someone else.

    Before you order Milgard "specialty glass" products, e.g. grooved or glass with blinds etc. read the lifetime warranty fine print. Milgard does not warranty these items. My 5 year old Tuscany series French Rail patio door glass with blinds spontaneously shattered during an extended heat wave due to thermal stress. Warranty repair denied by Milgard for fine print warranty details.

    Installed all new windows in 2004, casement windows have all failed. Cranks are stripped, have been trying for a very long time to get someone out to fix the windows. Every window with a crank is not working plus several have dual pain failure. This is a vacation home, I flew in for scheduled appointment and Customer Service forgot to call me for a 2 hr schedule. Called customer service on hold for over an hour to get through…lifetime warranty is only good if their customer service department is reachable. CRAZY!

    We paid over $34k for new windows that were installed three months ago and we are still waiting for the four screen doors for our sliding doors. In addition we had to have three different windows for one of our windows before they could send us one that wasn’t broken on arrival. This also took months before they got us a unbroken window. The last two days we had an appointment to deliver our screen doors and yesterday they gave us a four hour window and then couldn’t make that time and re-scheduled for another four hour window today. This time they just didn’t even show up and there was no communication to reschedule or to let us know they were not going to make it. My time is valuable too, and this is unacceptable.

    Milgard does not train their sales people as to how to install windows and screens. The screens were the wrong size from the beginning and Milgard does does not guarantee them. Then they need to train their sales people how to measure and install the windows and screens correctly. The headquarters does not take responsibility for their out of state sales people so I had to buy new screens to make sure they are installed correctly. I would NEVER recommend windows from Milgard.

If you have encountered a problem with your screen size, we encourage you to speak with the Dealer that you worked with to order the windows to work towards a resolution.     Milgard sprays paint on vinyl windows and doors and then the paint chips off unless the window or door does not have any exposure to the sun or rain. After months of trying to remedy the situation they send someone out and they touch up the areas that are chipping. The painters admitted that the paint will chip again. To finally have someone come out to paint is very inconvenient and takes an inordinate amount of time scheduling and nagging. A year has passed and paint is chipping off again and in new places. And I expected to do this every year? The warranty on paint is 10 years and then what?? I have literally been contacting them with paint issues since the windows and doors were installed.

    I HATE buying products from businesses when they KNOW they are selling a DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. I hate that I have to spend time dealing with a company that knowingly manufactured and sold a product that they knew would not work-paint will not stay on vinyl - I live in a very moderate climate and if I know this - how can they not know this. Of course, Milgard knows they are passing off substandard products. I just hate that my time is going to be taking them to court and suing to replace my windows and doors. Not the way I want to live my life…and the big business goes untouched just taking advantage of person after person. I can’t be the only person with vinyl windows and doors with paint that doesn’t adhere. I wish people could come together for a class-action lawsuit.

    I have Milgard WoodClad fiberglass windows. They were the top of the line, the best they had to offer, so said the rep. and I believed him after I got the price, but I was building my home to last. So far they have been here at lease 6 times to replace 22 windows. They were here 4 months ago and now I have another faulty window. WORSE is I have MOLD growing on the wood. Their rep (Tim) tells me it is because I wash my windows! WHAT? So be careful not to use Windex and paper towels, that causes mold and moisture in between the glass! Oh also I hope you live in a completely dry climate that gets no rain. The miters all leak! They are stained with water from rain leaking in. The Sheetrock inside has bubbled. Tim says it is my fault because again how I wash my windows!!!!

    I complained to the BBB and Milgard doesn’t care, I went on Facebook and they BLOCKED me, and erased my comments. Oh and I didn’t mention that the installer never gave me my screens, Milgard said tough luck and I had to pay for them myself from a custom screener. Don’t use Milgard, they talk a good game and they also are really good at the internet game. They drench the Internet with great comments and ads, we have built 4 large custom homes and work with a lot of custom builders. Milgard is trash. They used to be a pretty good name but over the last 10 years they have become the worse.

    We purchased our house in December of 2020. The previous owner had had all the original windows and sliding doors replaced with Milgard vinyl, double pane, insulated products, all manufactured in 2009. Out of the twelve new windows installed in the house, three of the units had failed by the time we came into possession of the property with either clouding or marking on the interior of the glass. While Milgard prominently advertises a Lifetime Warranty, I discovered upon contacting them that the line of windows that were installed in our house only include a 10-year warranty, and we were just beyond that period. A 25% failure rate seems excessively high, and I would advise anyone to stay away from any of Milgard's products that do not include a full lifetime parts and labor warranty, as it seems you will be replacing your windows again sooner than later.

    Ongoing lack of warranted support from Milgard. Ongoing problem with no resolution. SUMMARY: Milgard Tuscany CASEMENT windows are do not seal and will allow air leaking into your home. when the wind blows against these windows the latch mechanisms whistle from the wind. Milgard Denver warranty office does not support their product, rather they make excuses and ignore issues. Online reviews seem to be the only way to get a response from Milgard. Shameful and sad.

    I have been in a warranty claim with Jessee and now Scott in the Denver office since October of 2021. The local distributor Maraposa Window and Doors in Salida stated to me that the Tuscany series windows have a design problem that cause air leaks. Their solution to sealing the windows in my brand new house was to stuff cotton in the latch mechanisms. They stated they could do no more until a solution was provided by Milgard and repair parts were available.

    I then spoke to Milgard warranty department in Denver. They stated that in order to start a warranty claim a technician would need to come look at the windows. On January 10 2022 Arteuro was the technician who came out. He stated air was coming into the windows through the bottom of the window seal and escaping into the house. He stated that this is a common issue in my area due to the high winds and that he did not have seals large enough to place into the window to make the issue go away. His recommendation to me was to buy weather-stripping and create a seal where the window closes.

    I contacted Jesse in Denver and was passed on to Scott. Scott denied that the windows were flawed and stated that all windows leak to a certain degree. After receiving the report from Arteuro Scott stated that "there is nothing wrong with the windows according to the report from his technician". On Jan 11 i spoke with Scott again and he stated that he would contact me back with a possible solution. Scott has not returned a call, taken a call or contacted me since this day.

    I have 7 brand new windows in a brand new construction home with painters tape over the latch mechanisms to keep cold air from flowing into my house. I am being ignored by your warranty department who states there is not a problem. Please encourage Scott in Denver to do his job and find a solution to this issue. Update Feb 7, 2022. Still no resolution on this issue. I am not being told by Scott the warranty manager that he needs the Regional Manager to make decisions to provide solutions. No calls from the regional manager and no calls from Scott with resolutions. It's sad that you need to post online reviews to obtain warranty service. Still have painters tape on all of the latch mechanisms on my BRAND NEW TUSCANY WINDOWS....

    In May of 2021, we submitted a warranty claim for a cloudy window/busted seal. The first appt was delayed because the glass hadn't passed inspection. Then they cancelled the morning of the new appt because the glass was broken. We started over. They called the next time they were supposed to come, saying they couldn't find my glass in the shed, so we started over. This same ridiculousness continued a couple more times, until finally they arrive on Jan. 7th - and have the glass on the truck, but it's raining outside. They can't come back that afternoon, because they're overbooked. But they assure me someone will call me to reschedule right away - now they've got the glass and they know it will fit. A week later, I had to call because no one called me. I was assured they'd find a date and call me by 2 pm that afternoon. A week and a half later, no one had called.

    Today, I spoke to Moses, the manager in Sacramento, who tells me that they are waiting for our glass to pass quality inspection. Somehow we are starting over AGAIN. I asked what happened to the glass that was on the truck, and he said they "tossed it" because it probably would have been damaged in the shed while waiting for us to get reschedule? WHAT? So, since it might get damaged while in storage, they guarantee it and toss it? I am blown away. HOW DOES MILGARD STAY IN BUSINESS with this as a business model? This is among the worst customer service I have ever received.

    Milgard windows 10 years old, half “gone bad” (seals broken). Waited 6 months. Subcontractors came today with replacement panes but only 9 could be replaced because the other 11 replacement panes were wrong size or wrong grid or missing. Subcontractor said “this happens every day. It’s chaotic.” Now I’ll have to wait another 6 months to get the remaining failed panes replaced, and spend another 2 hours taking down blinds and moving furniture, and miss work again. Cross your fingers Milgard factory doesn’t mess up the order again!

    Just moved into our house in 2019 and noticed many of the windows were foggy but wasn't sure why. Then at the first major rain storm, several of the windows stared to leak substantial amounts of water. I called Milgard and luckily the warranty is still in effect, however Jessie (very nice) said that the issue must be due to how they were installed, it was highly unlikely that several windows at once could be defective. So I hired a handyman through Home Advisor to come and re-install the windows $1200. He looked at all the windows and said it wasn't the installation, it was very poor quality manufacturing and showed me why (I'll add pictures). The water leaks through the pan, and the window glass is pulling from the vynil with all 15 window and they were installed in 2016. There is water damage to our home, drafts that are costing us more for cooling and heating.

    I am currently waiting on a response after calling Jessie, reporting what was found and forwarded pictures and a video of the water coming through the window. After reading all of these reviews, I realize that this company has to know that what I reported is systemic issues for their windows and should have sent out a technician. I am going to give this company to make things right, however based on everyone's reviews it concerns me to even put replacement windows of theirs back in as they clearly are sub-quality workmanship.

    We purchased a 12 ft three panel sliding glass door. The order, including nine other windows was delayed twice. Then our contractor received a call on a different day than the scheduled one that the slider was being delivered. The frame and only one of the three panels arrived so we had to cover it with plastic while waiting for the other two panels which took another two weeks. The middle section slides to the left as a sliding door would. The right panel is stationary but built the same as the left panel as if to accommodate a slider which it does not and is lined with same felt. This looks very odd and unfinished as if the middle slider should go both directions.

    We went to the MI store and explained this to them asking if there’s a trim that could be installed in the right panel to give it a finished look. They were going to research this and get back to us but never did. My husband went back to MI a week later to try and get resolution, he was told he had to make an appointment to enter the store. They had him talk to the marketing director and he basically said we got what we ordered and would not give us the name of the company that produces their trim pieces so we could pursue the issue on our own. Customer service is very poor but the installers were very efficient and courteous. Sadly, I will not recommend MI to anyone.

    When we first bought our home we worked with the tech directly. That was awesome because Josh was on the ball. He was super nice and always had the job done thoroughly and quickly. But, since Milgard reorganized and move all service calls to corporate the service went down hill fast (and I don't blame Josh for leaving Milgard). Instead of taking just a week or two to get replacements it started taking months. And, right now I am beyond PEEVED at Milgard. It's taking over a year to get 1 window replaced. I started calling them mid 2020 for this window (yes, I know the pandemic messed up things to an extent, but their customer service was like this before Covid). First, they didn't have anyone covering our area. Then, our tech came back from his accident and the window was wrong. One of their geniuses sent a window with grids when there were clearly no grids in the pictures I sent.

    Then to top it off it was broken. So, it was rescheduled for like 1-2 months later (beginning of August), and the new guy calls me to tell me that ALL the glass on his truck was broken. So, rescheduled again for Oct 7. This time, no show & no call. I had to call corp to find out that supposedly AGAIN that ALL the glass on his truck was broken AGAIN. Then, I get an email rescheduling for DECEMBER! THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! Ever since Milgard reorganized, their service has gone downhill BIG TIME!!! Right now I would give them a zero star rating if I could!

    Don't buy Milgard windows. Fake Warranty and cheap quality. They said their price is higher because of their quality. In their showrooms in Home Depot they hangs some nice windows but when you get foolish and order the windows the quality is too low and far from their AD. Another issue is their warranty. They don't accept almost anything but they said lifetime warranty!!! I bought some windows on Jan 2021 and it take 6 weeks to they delivered them to homedepot then 2 weeks to delivered them to my house then it take a week to I schedule for installer and when I installed them one of them has handle issue.

    I took the sash to homedepot and asked about the handle issue. They contact company and they said it past one month and it don't have warranty while they said LIFETIME warranty and it was clear that they didn't installed the handle to the sash correctly but they didn't accept that is their issue and said it is what it is. Anyway, $300 for new sash with handle and it is two months that my window is without sash (Jun 2021) and they still changing the delivery time week by week (delay delivery). I believe, If they sent it by fleet from the other side of USA I'm sure it was delivered a month ago. I'm just worry about the other window if something happen and what I can do with them because I can't find any part of these windows and company is not responsible for anything.

    Following installation of my Tuscany Series patio doors by a 3rd party installer provided by Home Depot, there were several items regarding alignment of the doors/frame that the installer was unable to correct. There was also missing items (weather stripping and frame caps). Home depot contacted MILGARD who then contacted me to set up a service call.     Very happy with the replacement of 3 windows (6 panes) which had failed becoming cloudy; however it did take a bit longer than expected (claim reported 8/31/2020, work completed 2/18/2021); delays due to:

    1. My Fault, I realized after submitting the claim that 3 windows were needed rather than the 2 I originally submitted, this delayed the replacement from 11/2020 to 12/2020.
    2. When replacements were delivered in 12/2020 it was found that they were the wrong color (delivered silver, needed black). This delayed delivery to 1/25/2021.

    3. When correct windows were delivered on 1/25/2021 one of the 6 panes was cracked (in transport). 5 panes were installed, 6th pane rescheduled for 2/18/2021.

    This afternoon, 2/18/2021, the final pane was installed. They look great. The service personnel were very polite and considerate, and followed COVID protocol. Worked quickly with minimal inconvenience. Very happy with service, even with the glitches.

    We had four windows replaced today because they had lost their inner seal. We wouldn't have known to replace them had it not been for a glazier who came to the house and noticed the window were foggy.     One of the windows we installed in our home nine years ago began to reveal several hand prints between the panes. I intended to purchase a new pane but the place from which we had purchased our windows told us to contact Milgard.     The technicians that came to the house to replace the defective door panel were fantastic. They did a professional job, were courteous and clean and made sure I was happy with the replacement before they left. The issue was getting the part and the actual scheduling of service. I had been waiting for over 3 months and had been rescheduled 3 times (the last time was not even notified that it was yet again rescheduled).     We had our windows installed in July 2020. We spent nearly $20,000 on all new windows and doors. Tracer Windows & Doors was the installation company. Tracer said that the windows and (2) sliding doors came with a rebate. Tracer gave us the documents for submitting the rebate. We submitted the rebate documentation the same week the windows were installed. We were told it would take several months to process. We heard nothing. I finally followed up with Milgard only to be told that the rebate documentation was rejected and the rebate period has passed. No one ever told us that the rebates were rejected or gave us an opportunity to fix. The Milgard rep (Marianna) said she would follow up with Tracer. I just spoke with Tracer and no one from Milgard has followed up. Very disappointing. Milgard's approach to the rebate is to ignore me and see if I will go away. Shameful business practices.
