I called and was thrilled that our issues with our windows could be addressed. Milgard had our order and sent a technician to help fix an issue that was identified with our window springs. This was covered under our lifetime warranty! The technician was professional and efficient. Thank you, Milgard!

I was so pleased and very impressed that a company actually honors it when they say lifetime warranty. My parents had their Milgard windows put in in 1993 before there was even a stamp in the window (which I obviously couldn't find!) They came out with a smile and efficiently took care of the problem for them.

Every visit from Milgard window technicians has been professional and pleasant. Today was no exception. Courteous and prompt. The only thing that would make any experience with Milgard more pleasant would be if phone calls would be answered promptly. Waiting on the phone line to speak to someone is a lengthy issue, which I suggest be dealt with sooner than later.

Jesus ** came to our home to install a replacement window. To say the least, I was highly impressed with his attitude, professionalism. He was very kind to my wife and I and went above and beyond to do adjustments on three windows (that were not on the Work Order) that had been sticking so badly we could hardly open them any longer. In my Opinion Jesus is a consummate professional that is an asset and a great ambassador to your company!

Ordered about 40 Milgard windows last November. Today is June 25th, 2018. Still waiting for a large window that arrived the wrong size, then reordered, no expedited timeframe, arrived 8 weeks later mangled - unusable and its replacement was promised 7 weeks ago. Also still waiting for a glass unit that arrived damaged, but customers reps are mysteriously impossible to connect with. They do not respond. Window glass spacers are all different - even windows right next to each other. Screens all the wrong size, and the handles, oh please. My window installers are wonderful craftsmen, but their hands are tied, held hostage by dealing with the type of company Milgard is. If only I knew then what I know now.

We've owned the windows over 14 years in extreme climate of S. Arizona and had to call to replace one window getting the direct sun. The appointment was made and about 20 minutes later had a brand new window installed. The best ever service.

Aarghhhh!!! This fiasco started back in March. Why it took 3 MONTHS to repair is unacceptable! I took every picture and sent you everything you asked for and THEN YOU ASKED FOR MORE INFO! There is one good thing that I can share with you from this beyond frustrating experience. The tech who came to fix the window was probably one of the nicest guys we've ever met. He had a truckload full of repair items, and good thing because the repair kit you sent out with him was WRONG! He was professional, friendly, and it took him all of about 15 minutes to fix a window in my master bedroom that had been BROKEN FOR 3 MONTHS!!! The ONLY REASON I'm going to give you a one star rating on Customer Service is because it took SO LONG TO RESOLVE! But we'd like to repeat that the tech you sent out was GOLDEN! IT CERTAINLY WASN'T HIS FAULT THAT IT TOOK SO LONG!!!

Milgard provided approximately 20 some windows in our building approximately 16 years ago. Some of the seals have failed on various windows during that time and Milgard's lifetime warranty has been invaluable to us. Each time I contact the main office I am treated politely and promptly. Every technician's response has been efficient and well done. Milgard is a good company that employs good people -- all to the customer's benefit.

I had 3 windows with low e failure, notified Milgard around the end of January and added 1 more in the process and it took until June 21 to get it accomplished. Juan ** always does a good job. In the process I was given a time frame for the service and twice he was unable to make it in that time frame so I waited all day. I think the service tech needs to make the appointment. Also I gave the measurements for the window size as asked according to your instructions and 1 window was made too small. It took 3 trips to complete my job.

Our experience has always been great. Customer service has been very good at handling our needs with the windows and doors. It has been almost ten years since the installation. They have always come out to deal with repairs. Milgard stands behind there products. Great Great Great!

The door handle on my sliding glass door is a very malleable metal that breaks every 6 months or so. I have to request replacement parts regularly. I requested two replacement handles so I did not need to go thru this process so frequently. Only one handle was sent. While I appreciate the ongoing support for broken parts I would prefer that the part was made of quality materials and that my request was properly filled.

We had one window that needed to be replaced because the seal had a leak. Our guy arrived on time, replaced the window and cleaned up after himself and told me if we have any problems to give them a call. Can't ask for a better warranty than Milgard.

My Classic slider latching mechanism had failed in the locked position. The serviceman, Will?, called prior to the appt time to let me know he was on his way. He arrived promptly and well equipped to make a complete repair, regardless of the problem. The latching mechanism was expertly replaced and the slider now works swell. The serviceman was a complete professional. I'm very pleased with Milgard's response and Will's expertise. Good job!

I need a new window crank for my awning style window. My first attempt to get a new one I received a crank for the shutter style window. Since then I have been going back and forth with Customer Service trying to get the correct part. Now, it's been 2 weeks since I last heard from them even though I've sent numerous emails to check on the status. It's very frustrating.

So happy that my window was replaced under warranty. It looks great! My only criticism is that it took a long time from the claim to the replacement - about 2 months for a rep to come to my area. I also wish that I could have spoken to a person rather than doing most of my business through email. The day that the rep was due to come to my house, I would have liked a phone call just to confirm time. I did receive a text, but a call back number would have made me feel more at ease. Thank you, though. All in all, I am please with the service.

The windows I have received are new so my experience with is limited. The only negative I have is the cranks on the windows. They may be adjustable and have just not figured that out yet. The big positive is the replacement of crackers windows. You have been awesome!

My whole experience from first contact, to onsite visit, to scheduling, and final installation was better than I expected and straightforward. But, the onsite replacement was very good experience. The young man, (Osweldo?) was very polite, and extremely competent. He arrive when expected, went straight about his business, and easily fielded all our questions. He is a great ambassador to represent your company. We are delighted with our experience.

The repairman that came out was courteous and knew his job. He was excellent. My only complaint is that it took so long to get an appointment. The lock on our back door was broken and we were unable to lock it. It took 2 months to get an appointment... with an unlocking door for that amount of time was a little scary.

I contacted Milgard to replace window glass that was becoming hazy. The service was provided under warranty. The tech that came and did the replacement was fast, courteous and respectful. There was an initial error when our request was initially placed and the wrong window sizes sent. The initial tech that came was apologetic, measured the windows and ordered the correct glass.

I am so impressed that Milgard's lifetime stands behind their products. A slider developed vapor between the panes, which Milgard replaced, no questions asked, after 25 years. The techs also repaired a casement window that wouldn't stay up. The techs were friendly, professional and very efficient; their whole visit lasted about 30 minutes. Such lasting value and commitment to customer satisfaction is rare today, and I heartily recommend Milgard for homeowners seeking quality and value.

Two men arrived about 10 minutes before the expected time, and they called to say they were on the way, and was the time OK. They checked the moisture between Payne’s, and completed replacement within 20 minutes. Great service!!

The technician quickly found the problem, replaced the damaged parts, and adjusted everything so that the door works perfectly again. He also checked and made minor adjustments to our other two Milgard patio doors so they work are in great shape again. Also, the Customer Service staff handled our request for help rapidly and efficiently.

Burn marks inside glass. Repair was a disaster. Wrong size sent. Repair man for area quit the following Monday. Left with no one left to repair. Milgard service center was acting like this was installed for years, when in fact it was a new install. No priority attached to this at all. Took forever to schedule repair for a Friday. After several weeks of fighting to work this out, Milgard decided to sub this repair out to a Las Vegas Glass repair business. Replacement still wrong size, but made to fit. Worst customer service I have ever encountered.
The only satisfaction was when Milgard (John, a manager) was caught lying to Lowe's while I was present. Never again, will I or anyone I know will buy Milgard. I just ordered new windows from Lowe's, just not Milgard. I am being kind with my response. Your company has set a new low for customer service. I know it, Lowe's knows it. I will be posting this on all the home repair forums I can find on the internet. I hope to save as many people as possible from experiencing what I went thru.

My windows/slider doors were installed in June of 2017. The MB slider/door leaked under onto my carpet and mold formed on floor. Pat ** of CAL REP, Fountain Valley refused to take responsibility for the leak and only made one trip to my condo after I asked him several time to come and check it out. I ended up with another contractor who removed the door and re installed it using thicker material under the bottom of it. The Milgard rep and his installer did a water test on Thursday May 31st. Did not leak. In the meantime my patio has been stripped of the tiles to maintain an even flow of water if and when it rains.

I really wish to rate my service in 2 separate ways. The time it took to get my windows replaced was much longer then I had anticipated. I did not always get a quick response to my emails and had to follow up a few times. But I was so happy with the man who came to actually replace the windows. He was quick, efficient, friendly, and very professional. He deserves a huge pay raise!

When I called Milgard for a service issue on a sliding door, the first available appointment was about a month out, not a big deal. I got both an email and a phone call as promised confirming the appointment. Then I got a call the day before saying the service team had finished early and if I was home, could they come. I happily said yes. They identified and fixed my issue in about 30 minutes, couldn't have been happier.

We recently bought a Taylor Morrison home that came with Milgard doors. The doors were not installed correctly and we waited over for almost 2 months for them to fix. After they canceled twice, the customer service person did not create the order correctly and the repair person had to come twice.

The staff was very nice. Had multiple windows replaced as moisture got between the panes. The one large entry window had to have three different attempts to get it right- about a year to complete. Sorry to say that the last time it was installed the frame of the window seems have been deformed/damaged on the inside. Seeing it's got a lifetime warranty, not too worried for my ownership. Does concern me that this happened.
Also when this window was replaced, the caulking around the window frame was cracked. When asked if this was going to be fixed, the response was, "No- we don't take of that". Seems odd that due to the movement to remove window caused for this to occur, I would think it should have been done by your staff. I had to get a ladder in place and take care of it myself. If others could not have got the ladder and climbed into the odd position, then they would have had to pay someone. It seems that it would have been just as easy for your staff and kind of obligatory task to make sure your work was completed with satisfaction. It was when I was doing this caulking I noticed the deformity to the frame.

I had my Milgard certified contractor which I purchased the door and windows from install everything. Had a problem with the exterior door sealing correctly from day 1. Milgard came out 3 times to try to adjust the door and could never get it to seal properly. Other service guys replaced the door 3 times before it finally came out right. One of the Milgard service guys tried to tell me "all their doors are like this, just deal with it".

Steve did a great job with replacing the damaged window. Courteous, professional, and efficient. Milgard's technicians have always been this way. My only complaint was with Milgard's scheduling limitation of only being available for service in our area on a Thursday.

Replacement of my cracked kitchen window rescheduled twice. The first appt was scheduled approx 3 weeks from my call. Then rescheduled on the day of the call for 3 weeks hence. Can't remember why. The second appt was cancelled because he was running behind schedule. They wanted me to wait 3 more weeks. I was angry and loud on the phone. I told them to call me back when they had a sooner date. Instead I got an email with the new appt about 1 week out. From finding the crack to getting it fixed was about 2 months. I will not be recommending Milgard.

We've owned the house for 14 years and will be moving soon and we wanted to make sure everything was operating well. Like most people little things don't grab your attention or warrant the time until it's time to sell. 5 of our windows had become hard to operate, we contacted Milgard and while the online process did not work well for us a representative did call and discussed the concerns and arranged for a reply to come look at the windows in question. He also let the reps know what he thought the problem was. The two Arturo arrived early and went to work right away and had everything squared away in about an hour. Truly a professional and the experience was painless. Milgard stands by their product with great service. Thank you.

I contacted Milgard in January with a problem with two of my windows. Though it took several months to finally get the first team to come and replace the windows in question, they noted that all of the windows in our southern exposure sun room were likely failing and scheduled to replace the remaining windows under warranty! They didn't need to do that, and I was impressed with their honest assessment. The scheduled a return trip and just finished replacing all of them, 3 men, and a customer service rep. All at no cost to me! Kudos Milgard! When they said lifetime warranty, they meant it!

The technician was knowledgeable and efficient. He also wanted to be fair and helpful. With the sliding wooden door, he recognized that the contractors had filled in the adjustment screw hole, making it impossible to adjust. He removed the filler and got the sliding door working well again.

Called in the tech representative to look at small lower hooded window which had shattered some time in the two months we were away over the window. Rep had also never seen anything like it and took the window back to the office. As it was broken in situ, it was not covered by warranty. It may have been due to settling of the building but it is 10 years old. Alternatively some winter temp differential? A bit of a concern in that it may happen again and there are 9 similar windows in place.

The arrival time was much later than the two-hour window we were given (although we did receive a phone call saying he would be late). Since he arrived at almost 4:15 I was surprised that only one technician was sent to replace eight windows. Consequently he did not finish until after 6:30. Overall he did an efficient job, although he did break two of the clips that are used to remove/install the screens, but did not mention it. These are easy to snap (I've broken two myself), but it would have been more professional if he had told us.

In late March I advised the Milgard local office that I needed new front window balancers. For the next two months, I waited for them to arrive. Through the California support office, I was advised the balancers had been returned by UPS for an unknown reason. Also, that shipment was not made because and obsolete pair had to be cancelled. To cut to the chase, I reordered what I believe to be the proper replacements yesterday. I was advised by Jodi that they should arrive in one to two weeks. She, along with the other customer service women I have dealt with at the California office, have been very courteous and helpful. I'm looking forward to receiving the balancers, but will call back if not received in two weeks.

Milgard windows were installed in my house when it was built 14 years ago. In those 14 years the Milgard low-E windows performed exceptionally well. We have had a few failures of the windows losing the seal between the panes of glass. However, your excellent customer service support had the windows replaced in a short time. The repair people arrived on the time arranged and usually had the glass replaced in about 20 minutes. I have and will continue to recommend Milgard Windows.

The sliding glass door in my bedroom was stuck. When the technician arrived he was very courteous. I remembered him from previous visit to my home. He quickly fixed the problem by replacing the roller. I was extremely satisfied with him and the repair.

I was overwhelmed at the level of service I received from your warranty department. I was contacted within a few hours by a local Milgard rep after placing my initial call. Andy called and scheduled to come by my house in Boise, Idaho within a few days. He was prompt and professional. Andy took the time to measure each window that needed to be replaced and gave us an estimated time for completion. The windows had to be manufactured so we expected about 6 weeks. Andy called back within 3 weeks and was ready to replace the windows. Again, he arrived at the scheduled time, worked efficiently and was very professional. I am extremely pleased with the Milgard windows that we purchased for our home many years ago. I am even more pleased with the fantastic follow up and service provided by Andy. Thanks again for a great customer service experience!

Hello. The Milgard employees who came were very polite and professional. They fixed the problems requested VERY FAST! The only reason I am giving a 4 star is because one of the sliding windows has too much movement to my liking. I don't know if this is necessarily the technicians' responsibility or simply the window itself. But overall happy with the technicians, as they tried to explain to me that that's how the window is (but one side moves more than the other).

Yes, the Rep Caesar seemed to know the issue of the Tuscany sash windows sagging in the lower center of the movable pane. He reset 2 of the 4 panes and adjusted the 3rd of the 4. No work was needed on the 4th window. Result was fine and he said that I should watch them and if the sag re-occurs, then call for new replacements. Work was very good and competent. Also, these are on only 2 windows out of 28 that were Tuscany style. The others were Style Line which we love and wish we never purchased those 2 Tuscany... just an FYI.

We had a pleasant experience when calling about mildew on inside of 2 windows. People taking our concerns were interested in our problem and very helpful. Communication with everyone from Milgard was excellent. We received several texts with pertinent information. Man installing windows was a great guy, friendly, and really good at his job. He called ahead on day coming to house to let us know that he was coming and estimated arrival time for us. No hassles at all. Milgard honored warranty no questions asked. In a day and age of poor service these people are a shining light. Appreciate all of them that worked with us.

Replacement window panel in slider - The installers were polite, timely and professional. The replacement process was clear and simple to arrange and the install was smooth and quick. Windows were installed by the builder in 2001. I have replaced a total of eight windows due to condensation in between the glass panels. Since then, I have remove shutters from the remaining windows and have noticed another 10 windows with condensation. I have called warranty, and they do not cover anything since I am the second owner of the house. They have told me they no longer provide warranty work at cost to the owner because they are so busy fulfilling other newer warranty orders. This tells me that their windows are very unacceptable since their warranty department is so busy. I do not recommend Milgard Windows. Windows should last more than 17 years. And lifetime warranty means nothing. Not many people will stay in the same house for a number of years. Windows need to stand up to a number of years. Very disappointing quality, very disappointing service.

I have an 11 year old home which had all Milgard windows with lifetime warranty. 3 have been replaced FREE in the past 2 years by Milgard. Last year I replaced a window with a sliding door with blinds embedded between glass panes. One of the doors malfunctioned with blinds so today Milgard replaced it free, and found that the door was not installed correctly causing the door lock to be easily disengaged. Also fixed Free. Excellent service.

Jose arrived exactly at the start of the time window given. He was courteous and unobtrusive. He worked diligently and was able to remove old, and fit new, glass panels in less than 45 minutes. He is a credit to Milgard as is the lifetime warranty you provide on your product.

10 months ago, I purchased around $40,000 worth of essence windows for an 1895 restoration. There were so many problems that the local representative for Western Colorado came out and we examined every window, documenting what needed to be done. At least 18 sashes need replaced and he said he was at a loss as to why so many were cracked. Every screen (I upgraded) was defective. He sent a picture of the worksheet listing all the issue to his office and told me it was already in the system. I registered the warranty and waited. I had read that service was bad and some people waited several months so I was trying to be patient.
Nine months later, the rep flippantly tells me it was misplaced and to contact Milgard for service. I responded that I didn't think that was acceptable and then he said it wasn't misplaced, it was a software issue and my best recourse was still to contact Milgard but if I gave him my address, he'd see if it was in the system. I'm not making this up. He came to my house but doesn't have the address. If it was in the system, why have I heard nothing for 9 months??? Seriously, NEVER purchase anything from this company and especially not in Western Colorado. Looking on the company website, I see numerous people in the past year have had a similar experience so don't be fooled by their glowing "featured" reviews into thinking you should buy their product.

I don't where to begin but if you look up previous records you will have an idea of how poor service really was. The claim was filed in August 2017 and with several attempts to deliver the damaged glass for various reasons the window has yet to be replaced. A window was installed but it also was scratched. The replaced window has a scratch in it about 4 inches wide. Will you ever be able to send us a window that is not damaged and also with enough manpower to install it.

We were not happy with back ordered windows because it took longer for us to get our windows. Hayward Lumber didn’t keep us updated with the status of our windows. We were delayed once again for the repairs of damaged windows.

The actual field work done was excellent. The opportunity lies in the filing and scheduling work. Somehow, my job was erased from the system and I had to call and set it up. The person I talked to on the phone was very apologetic, but clearly Milgard dropped the ball.

Called Milgard regarding warranty window replacement installed 21 years ago. Provided them when my contractor bought the windows and gave them approximate window dimension. Milgard locate my purchase records quickly and within 30 days scheduled installation of a new window. They reconfirm the date and window time they would arrive week before the date. Excellent job all around. Quick and efficient.

I had over 80% of my plastic guides in my casement windows crack and fall out on my brand new windows. When I entered the service call it took OVER 6 months to finally get somebody out to fix them. If I did that in my business, we would be out of business. Your products are good but service is HORRIBLE. I would not recommend Milgard as a result to anybody. When ask what is taking so long, all I got was sorry, we are busy. Really? Hire more field reps to fix your windows or perhaps you are too busy fixing your faulty products? In that case pay more attention to quality along with your super slow service. I am not happy. I will say the guy who came out to fix our windows did a great job and was very nice. Please give him props.

I asked them to come to replace a window that had a condensation in between the window panes. The service person came and answered all my questions and fixed all the problems with the windows that were installed by another contractor. He was very professional and courteous. We would definitely recommend Milgard and the service person was exceptional.

Customer service took my claim quickly. Set an install date 10 weeks out. Called several times to tell me the glass had been made and a window company in my area would install. I verified install date several times. Called window company. Milgaard never gave them the install date. They could not install on the date agreed on. Very disappointing. Had to totally rearrange my schedule. Very poor service

Door replacement and realignment of installation - I like to be present whenever I am having work done. I watched the procedure from start to finish and each action taken by the two professionals were spot on. They performed their tasks as though they could have executed them blindfolded. I have about 50 windows in my house and almost all of them have balancer issues where the window slams down on your fingers. I have windows that are warped and you can't clean with a squeegee because the middle is warped on some windows and have a few windows with broken seals. I have had Milgard windows for decades and had only very minor problems which they always came out and fixed with no issue. Now I have junk windows so apparently when they start making less quality windows that they no long can stand behind. If you want to save your fingers, buy a quality window, not Milgard. It's not like I am talking about 1 window, this is almost 50 windows in the house and I probably have issues with about 20, not good odds, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR FINGERS!!

Good service guys like these are of great help. I had a handful of problems with this order of windows, due to rushed production at the factory. I would recommend that the production line slow down and stop letting so many flawed windows go out. It took twice as long as normal to get them one of which I'm still waiting for replacement.

I would have given a 5 Star if not for the technician being a bit late. He, Sergio **, was great otherwise. He replaced the handles for both patio doors to an older style which seems more solid than the new one. Also more obvious whether the slider is locked or not. The new one looks nice very but functionally, I prefer the older one.

The contractors that were here were absolutely fantastic. The problem is with the ones managing our warranty work. It has been well over a year and still you have not painted the windows, replaced the broken glass, replace all the bead and fixed the buckling trim in some of the windows. I am not going to accept this any longer. I am tired of you sending out workers for a little work here and a little work there. You are exhausting our family and making us suffer with terrible quality windows. I will take the legal route.

I purchase replacement windows in 2004. Over the years a few of them began to fog up. I called Milgard, gave them my name and address. They found my order within seconds. We identified the problem windows and they scheduled a repair crew to come in a few weeks. The crew showed up per schedule and quickly replaced the defective windows. I highly recommend this company and their products.

I would say we were happy with the entire process of replacing our defective windows. The only thing I would have hoped for was a recommendation or suggestion by Milgard to upgrade my replacement window, at my cost to a higher efficiency window, such as the Low E windows.

It took a long time to convince Milgard that the problem with one of 50 new windows was not an adjustment issue. I finally sent pictures. Milgard called to confirm the appointment but didn’t tell the tech the gate code. The black latches on the window had to be removed and screwed into new locations. Same problem on a second window. Both windows were fixed.

Milgard's warranty service is great. I had Milgard windows installed 20 years ago. Milgard's lifetime warranty provides me the fix I need. Not like some other companies, when I called, I talked to a real person without waiting time. Milgard schedules services effectively and provides arrival window time two days in advance. Milgard also sent me postcards confirming the schedules. The technicians arrived on time. About a month ago, a technician came and measured the windows. Today another technician came and installed five windows for me. He is very professional and cleaned up after his work. I highly recommend Milgard.

Milgard Scheduling was inconsistent, took over six months to get all resolved. could have built a whole house in that time frame. Milgard had to reschedule service twice due to outsourcing to other countries for products, installers broke a window upon loading truck. Told we would get parts for another window that we were willing to pay for and after six weeks, multiple messages and emails and then we were told they don't make parts for their standard awning window anymore. Hmmmm.
Updated on 06/22/2018: Not a great experience when Danette tells me that she will get back to me with an answer and after voicemail, emails and calls to customer service she delays in getting info to us after three weeks then says they can't do what they say they can do then. After writing a so so review I get a call from lead that says they can do it. Go straight to the lead. Customer service is going through a major re-org and not worth dealing with.

The quality of workmanship of windows from the factory is horrible. Techs came 3 times to replace windows under warranty; twice they were given the wrong size windows. One sliding glass door window that was replaced still has problems internal to the panes. QC of products coming out of the factory is pathetic. Windows that are good work fine, but you have far too many that are leaving the factory with flaws that should have been caught before they left the factory and placed on technician trucks.

The appointment made to replace the broken seal of the double pane window glass slider went flawless. The replacement was also flawless BUT when he placed the screen back on, he actually bent the frame, which makes it impossible to replace the screen mesh material, as it won't hold up to pressure and doesn't fit back onto the window frame properly. I carefully took off the screen and when he finished, he placed it back in and I know he didn't mean to bend it, but he did and I had to call to have Milgard replace it. Wish I could give a better review, as I really do like and value MILGARD. They have been wonderful with their lifetime warranty guarantee... I couldn't ask for better, but this is being honest and fair for this review.

If I didn’t have to deal with Milgard, I never would, but my windows have a lifetime guarantee, so when one fails, I must go through their service dept. In short, it took over 6 months and 4 visits to replace two windows. They were measured wrong, delivered scratched and they cancelled appointments twice with no apologies, just had to wait a couple more months each time before someone would contact me again. Rude customer service and could never get any answers as to why everything was so chaotic. I think this company has serious problems.

Window tech arrived early (called to see if that was okay), once he arrived he was very professional and changed out a defective window with no issues. I have had several low-E windows go bad but Milgard has never questioned replacing my windows. They are always prompt and do a great job with their customer service needs.

It took 6 months & 3 visits to get the proper replacement glass for the windows. Each visit required me to be home thereby putting a dent in my work schedule. The window glass originally installed direct from the factory was defective in 3 out of the 7 new windows! The first visit you did not schedule enough guys to perform the job even though I had made it clear to the woman on the phone that these were second story windows. The second visit the replacement windows on the service truck were also defective! The third visit you finally sent enough guys to get the job done & the window glass quality finally passed inspection. We love our windows but are extremely frustrated by your company's lack of proper QC on your products. We're also upset that it took so long to get the proper crew here to take care of things.

The window replacement started in December of 2016 and is still not completed. First service call glass made for vinyl window not aluminum. Next call glass broken. Next schedule canceled due to fired employees - moved out 5 months. Next service call glass wrong thickness. Next service call employee injured himself - one person cannot install glass - one glass wrong tint. Next service call glass installed by local glass house - measured another failed window. NOW waiting for contact to install last glass. I would appreciate a phone call from the MANAGER of customer service after he looks at this description of very poor service. I talked to the local Milgard rep and he did not offer to assist getting me better service! This is not quality service!

The technician called in advance, arrived and performed the work within the 2 hour window, and cleaned up after the work too. I have all Milgard Tuscany windows and door for eight years, somehow last couple years ago one glass start showing strike then more follow after, cleaned not work so I contact my favorite friend Pat ** at California replacement, he helped me to report the problem to Milgard and it take a month to replace. Finally I have all 10 glass panes replaced today, Rudy was nice, on time, clean and fast to perform the services. Today I call Milgard customer service to find out if our two windows screens frames that are deteriorating and if they would be under warranty. She explained that the warranty starts when the windows were installed. I explained this is a new house and I'm not sure on the install date, just the date we move in. I asked if she would could look up the date, she wouldn't and said I need to replace them myself. I accepted that It's on my dime. I ask her if there was a way I could find out why they deteriorated and would not last longer than two years and I would like to prevent the same thing happen. Her answer was she did not know. It was her home! I was nice until she lit the fuse. Really! I was just looking for technical support not a smart ** answer. I had Milgard windows on all my homes and also been treated very professional. This lead me to write this and not sure if I want to be a customer in the future if they handle problems unprofessional.

It took NINE windows to finally install one that did not have a flaw. It was taking months between each installation until I wrote a letter to the president of the company - and then, gee, it only took a week. The president never had the courtesy to respond to my letters, but I did get calls from local management. I will say everyone was polite, kind and contrite. But the quality control dept has some major issues.

The technician who arrived did not know why he was there. He said he was there to replace glass in windows. I told him no... He was there to install some parts that had been ordered. He said he did not know anything about that and then he found some parts. After installing we talked a bit about Quietline and he told me that they don't work when they are installed post construction - I was shocked - I have spent so much on these.

Our garden window had developed fogging and moisture in between the two largest panes of glass. This piece of the window was replaced. The repairmen were very courteous and efficient. I had windows installed over 6 months ago. What was installed DID NOT MATCH what we purchased. Milgard promised to fix the issue and to date we have been fed a pack of lies from everyone from Home Depot up to Tom who is a manager for Phoenix/Arizona. Just Monday he assured me he would get my issue resolved and not I shall be going to litigation. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Seal failure on 3 windows and a stripped latch - This was not an emergent situation. The scheduling team gave me good instructions on what info to provide. The first maintenance visit tech collected other necessary info. The scheduling team then again contacted me for the final install and answered my concerns about whether I would be home or not. The installer was fast and efficient. Everyone was very nice from start to finish and it went in an orderly manner. If this had been more emergent and it had taken this long, I would not give 5 stars, simply because it did take several months from when I first requested the service to when it finally took place. But you get 5 stars because I was kept informed and things transpired as I was given to expect. Thank you.

It would be difficult to review, as our order is still open. However, we have been trying for over 6 months to get damaged windows replaced with Milgard, and it has been very disappointing. They have only asked someone to call us, to ask us to measure all of our own windows, with little or no communication as to the status of replacement, or the process. We have quite a few windows that have failed, so we are extremely disappointed in the product, as well as the supposed lifetime warranty, that came with the windows when our home was built.

There are several reasons why I'm only giving a one star. Phone customer service was awful with Angie **. She would not return my phone calls. The time from scheduling to come out was a month out. The technician that came out was great.

Let me start by saying we are please with the new glass in our old windows. This took ONE YEAR to happen. The men that came to our home were polite. We are again having the SAME PROBLEM with the bedroom casement windows sticking. One is completely stuck closed and the other we are having issues with. We're afraid to lock it or it will be STUCK too. Not only is stuck window a FIRE HAZARD but not being able to lock the window is a worry too. I email one week ago and have yet to hear back. Therefore I am writing this review. With the summer months upon us we need windows that open and close. I don't think that's too much to ask!!! Hire more workmen to get this done. If we have waited this long, I'm sure there are many more like us!!!

My order that was delivered over 3 weeks ago is still not complete. We are missing 2 door window panes. The sub contractor you supplied is taking care of it. The doors also came with the wrong parts to close and lock properly! This is a 10 foot sliding four pane door. All other windows are working very well.

The guys completed the job fairly quickly so I asked them if they could fix a botched job another technician did a year ago. Last year when they replaced the glass the vinyl strip holding the glass in was not properly seated and the corner overlapped and stuck out. After trying to reseat it several times the technician decided to cut the vinyl strip. However when he cut the strip it was too short and now there are big gaps at the mitered corners. Now it looks terrible. I know the guys tried their best but is there anyway they could replace the vinyl strip so the gaps would not be so large? They should be coming back to replace other glass.

All 4 doors were contracted to be on one key. Among many other issues, all the doors came with separate keys. It has taken 8-9 months to get Milgard tech out to re-key them. Additionally, I am still waiting for astragal for sliding screen. The tech (Victor) told my sales rep he had installed it, but he had not! I was forced to send a video of the screen to prove to the sales rep that it was not installed! Unbelievable!

Below is a timeline of my experience with Milgard: 2/10/2018: Townhouse had broken master bedroom window - I was advised that the window would be fixed before closing. 2/20/2018: Closing Day. 3/05/18: Milgard appointment to replace window but they brought the wrong size. Advised they would come back on 3/16. 3/07/18: Advised that Milgard unable to come on 3/16 and will come on 3/23. 3/22/18: Milgard cancelled 3/23 appointment and reschedule to come on 3/24 to replace master window. 3/24/18: Milgard cancelled appointment. Office closed for the day. 4/4/18: Milgard came to replace the master bedroom window but brought the wrong window (size and type). The window they brought was mislabeled. I was advised that Milgard would be unable to take action for 2 more weeks because their warehouse was shut down. 4/12 - Finally installed the window. [Other issue - replacement screen door to come on 4/16.]
Milgard sent me a gift card for all the window issues, which was very kind and appreciated. However, I stayed home from work several days, received vague updates form customer service and still have an outstanding issue. The seller of my townhouse chose Milgard as their vendor. I probably wouldn't choose them going forward.

It took over a week for a rep from Milgard to answer my inquiry/complaint. However, the actual replacement went well and the installer was courteous and skilled. I am thankful that my window washer noticed the flaws/failure in the panel as they were not apparent to the casual observer (me). My expert window washer reported that a seal on the sliders was broken. I reported that to Milgard and sent photos. The photos were very faint and nothing (in my opinion) could be determined. Instead of sending out a Milgard expert to assess the situation, new windows were sent, but when they arrived, the person who delivered them, said they were not needed and the seals were fine. I think this could have been handled better from a business point of view. I like Milgard and would continue to recommend the company.

Sliding door does not close or lock properly. The technician, Steven, was knowledgeable and professional. He knew what to fix, how to fix it and also recommend see we change out the door handles. He did that for both of the doors and everything works beautifully.

I recently scheduled Milgard out to replace a window. They showed up at the time they said they would. They quickly changed out the window. They were courteous and careful even going so far as to put Tyvek booties over their shoes before entering our home. When they were done I couldn't tell they had even been here except that our window was now perfect.

In November 2017, Case# **, was open and not until December 31st were are 2 windows replaced. The actual replacement process was great but... when the Service Tech was on-site I showed him two other windows that that had the same issues. He said I had to do NOTHING and he will report and we will get new windows. On February 2nd, 2018, I entered the service request that the Service Tech should have entered Case#**. I did receive a return email and case number but it has been crickets since. Again the actual window replacement day was great but that's where it stops. Please replace my other windows.

The lock on my original French doors stopped functioning. Milgard decided the best course of action was to replace the entire two door set. The replacement doors required a lot of "fine tuning" by the two service technicians, but they eventually got them to behave correctly. I am very pleased with the job they did and the overall Milgard service experience.

My window washer let me know my "foggy" window wasn't dirty but defective. Called Milgard, gave them the product # from the side of the window, and poof - a few weeks later, a sparkly perfect new pane. Only reason the service is not a 5 is that I called at the end of the service window provided to determine if they were going to make it. Would have appreciated a call letting me know they were running behind, totally understand life happens. But we all have cell phones now. :)

I called Clovis Glass who installed the big 118" window initially and they helped me file a claim, it took Milgard 4 weeks. They contacted me, scheduled an appointment, the guys came out when they said they would and in 20 minutes they were done. The installers were kind and tidy!!

I had to have my picture window in my living replaced. I went thru an independent contractor to have the work done. The first time the window was replaced we noticed a large scratch between the panes. Milgard said they would replace it and 6 weeks later they did. The problem this time was that they sent tinted glass and the order was for plain glass. Once again they said they would replace it and a month later they did.
This time when the job was done we noticed another small blemish on the window between the panes. I contacted Milgard to see what could be done. They once again said they would come out and replace the window. This meant another day of missing work and I was not willing to do that. I contacted Milgard to see if instead of replacing it again the could just give me a discount on the glass. I had not yet paid the balance of the bill to the independent contractor so I thought giving me a discount would be a sensible option. It would save them from coming out a 4th time and they would not have to waste another window. I was told they did not do this type of thing. This didn't make any sense to me but nothing I could do. My final decision was to keep the window I have but as nice as they were on the phone it left me very frustrated.

One of the locks on two casement windows was not placed in the correct location. The service technician came to our home and adjusted to the correct location. The technician was great and adjusted the lock in the correct location quickly and the problem was fixed very fast. The only item I would like Milgard to improve is the wait time for a technician to come service the windows. My available appointment took one month from the time I call about the problem.

I am not happy with the screen door. It's flimsy, subpar and doesn't align with the sliding doors. I already had someone come out and work on it, and it was fine for a day or two, now it is misaligned again.

When I was rinsing a Milgard dual pane window, water seeped in between the panes. I contacted the local glass shop about replacing it. When they found out I had been the owner who had the windows installed 18 years ago I was given the tel. number to contact Milgard since they would still replace it for free. I had forgotten that guarantee but was very pleased to hear it. It did take about 5 months before the job was completed, perhaps because I live in a rural area. An appointment a number of weeks out was set up for someone to measure and then it was several months more before another appointment for an installer to come with the new window.
While he was here, I mentioned a broken latch on the screen for my Milgard sliding door. When I had gone to the store to buy a replacement they claimed the part was no longer available. The installer looked the situation over, had a part in his truck that he was able to modify and I once again have a working latch on the screen. Most grateful. The star I would have deleted for the long time the window replacement took, is added back because of his kindly action.

My windows were missing covers and crank handles on two casement windows. Also two casement windows were making a clicking noise (rubbing metal to metal) when closing. Four casement windows were missing the child protection locks. I waited about 6 weeks to have a technician come out and he didn’t have the parts to install the child protection locks. He said he could come out in two weeks or mail me the parts in two days. I still have not seen him, or the parts. I’ve called multiple times and they can’t even seem to figure out what windows I have. Even when I give them the window serial number.

The first call I made was easy and the rep was very helpful. My followup call to reschedule my installation date the woman felt like she challenged me and said she was doing me a huge favor by adding on additional windows to the same claim even though the first call I made the guy said I would and should be able to do this. The first guy also said that they would check all my windows for me when the installers did come out.
One installer was very nice and the older guy seemed put out. I helped them out and moved as quick as I could to show them around as to which windows were on the order. I had intended to talk with them about another concerning slider but when they were done they were done. No asking me if everything looked good or how long I should wait or not worry til cleaning the window, etc. Plus they left there gunk ALL over the ground. Seems like they would ideally clean up after the job. They did work fast and the glass looks great but there is also no tint in the two large windows that were replaced as there was previously. I am grateful for the work that was done but seems like it was rushed and the customer service wasn't the best.

I told the technician I wanted him to look at the shutter I had installed, told him I was having the same shutters installed on all the windows. Told him I know I have two more windows that need to be repaired and I didn't want to install the shutters before the windows were repaired and could he look at them before he left, maybe they will be able to remove the windows with the shutters installed. I didn't want to change the shutter install date, but I needed to have him look. But the man repaired the one window and jetted out and I called Milgard and she said she called him 3 times with no answer. If only he could have did what I asked, look at the other windows, look how the shutter is installed so I know if I can keep my original install date or need to change it. Now I have to add another 2 weeks to the install date because he just jetted out the door.

In 1999 we made the decision to replace every window in our home with beautiful Milgard wood paneled windows. The windows had a lifetime guarantee. After nineteen years 3 windows were showing the effects of broken seals. I called Milgard to inquire about having them replaced. A representative came to our home and confirmed the need for replacements, measured the windows, ordered the new ones, and they were replaced with no questions asked. Contacted Milgard back in 10/2017 for warranty work on 6 windows. Earliest they would send someone out was 2/2018 and then due to a recreational accident by the laborer, they rescheduled my warranty work another 3 months to 5/2018. Very unhappy with the warranty process. One of the windows still isn't functioning and haven't heard back from Milgard when I did follow up.

Our door came in the wrong color - we checked and the order was correct, so it wasn't our fault. We sent it back and eventually got it returned, the right color this time. However the keys were not included with the returned door. We are still waiting for the keys.

I needed 2 picture windows replaced after fogging and discoloration showed up between the panes. I started the process last Spring (2017). Didn't get the first window installed until the fall of 2017, after I called inquiring about what was going on. I never heard back on the second window, which was on a second story. After not hearing anything for a year, I started calling to check on things. The window was not even ordered until July 7, 2017 (even though I started the process in the spring), and STILL is NOT INSTALLED!!! They haven't scheduled it, and don't have anything planned in the future. They are "working on it". I am EXTREMELY displeased with the service, and lack of follow through. Over one year to wait to get windows replaced is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. VERY poor, actually non- existent customer service. Disappointed to say the least... Still looking through foggy windows...

There was a smear of discoloration in between the panes of glass, looked like mildew maybe. The window guy came right on time, knew exactly what the problem was (low-e coating is metallic and when the seal has a puncture moisture reacts with the metal and turns it rust colored), he explained and showed me, he had the perfect exact replacement window with him and made the repair quickly. I have a double sliding door installed in a master bedroom. This unit has been in poor condition for many years. I have called previously and never got the issue resolved. Since I am selling the house I am trying again for resolution. It took 6 weeks for a tech to show and assess the situation. Now it's a week later and I have heard nothing. Poor marks for you, I don't buy Milgard again.

There is too much to say. Having dealt with Temecula many times, I can only say Simi feels like a different company. The experience has been terrible all the way through. The listed dealers for sale/install was a terrible experience, and I feel like Milgard Simi threw me under a bus to get run over. Seriously, I have very little to say that's good. I will, however, compliment all reception people who answer phones. They are not in charge, but listened, and made me feel they cared, unlike management, service and sales.

One of our windows got moisture between the panes when it rained. The technician came out with a new pane already cut and ready, but would not replace the pane because there was no discoloration or buildup between the panes. I told him that it had only happened once, but that it did leak. He said that moisture between the panes is normal, and that they are designed to let the moisture out. I didn’t believe him. I didn’t think that Milguard would want their name on a foggy window. I have our vendor “Quality Windows” working on this issue for me now.

Milgard replaced three failed windows at my house several weeks ago. The installation went smoothly, and I'm completely satisfied with two of the new windows. The third window appears to have been scratched prior to the installation, probably by someone using a sharp object to remove labels. I'm unhappy with this window.

The Wrong size window was made the first time, when the correct window ID was given, and had to wait another 3 weeks for new one. Limited appt times/dates even when I had already taken off work for the first appointment. Installation tech was great!

This particular window pane was being replaced for the second time since being purchased 3 years ago. The first window failed less than a year after install. The first replacement contained the wrong type of glass. This replacement was delivered and installed correctly and on time but now, just days later, it is obvious that the window coating on the inside is flawed with hundreds of little pucker marks on the inside coating of the first layer of glass. Waiting on a call back from Milgard.

Bought Milgard windows for my house in 2003 and notice condensation between the double pane. I called Milgard and they scheduled and thereafter replaced 4 sets of double pane glass with tempered and argon gas. As a licensed general contractor for 20 years, it's great when subs provide excellent services the first time. And is exceptionally great to come back and honor a warranted 16 years later. The window technicians who replaced the windows were excellent. They were well trained, personable, and efficient. The problem is the process took over 8 months. This is unconscionable. The order placed with the technician by Milgard was incomplete. As a result, when the first technician came out he only had half the windows needed to fix the problem. This caused another 2 month delay. Also, trying to reach someone to talk to was next to impossible. I never received a return call. I had to trust the email process which was a complete failure. Real people matter. Providing the customer with a live person to talk to should be the norm and not the exception.

I had a high end Milgard French Door installed on our brand new custom home. One of the doors has major issues and rubs hard on the sill. The only way to open or close this door is with a great deal of effort. Milgard has come out on two occasions to finish the door. Both times they said that they needed another part (special hinges) and that they could not complete the repair. At this juncture my door still does not work and it's been extremely difficult to get an "expert" to replace the specialized hinges on this door. The hinges were said to have been replaced but what looks to have happened is they only tried to tighten the screws which resulted in stripped screws. Now I have a door which does not open properly and hinges with stripped screws. Not happy.

I really appreciate the life time warranty. My phone interaction and meeting with person to inspect my need for glass replacement were very positive. Unfortunately I never received a call 30 minutes prior to my appointment for replacement as promised. I had a missed call with no voicemail left, so I called back since I was expecting the Milgard call.
The person had already replaced my glass since he gained access to the house from construction workers. When I inquired why he didn't call 30 minutes prior, he said he was in the neighborhood so just stopped by. Had I not called back, I would still have been waiting around for the call. Would have appreciated better communication since I adjusted my work schedule to accommodate. I was disappointed to find out only 3 days after having the glass replaced in my bathroom that code requires it be tempered glass. While not their responsibility seems Milgard would know this.

PICTURE WINDOW GLASS HAS CHIPS, SCRATCHES AND BLEMISHES INNERSIDE ONE OR BOTH WINDOW PLATES. Cleaning overspray is not the entire remedy. I selected Milgard as a referral. At this point as a realtor, I can not reliably refer this product.

I purchased the Milgard products in about 1986. I am the original and current home owner. Please allow me to highly compliment the service technician who came to my home. He was professional polite, and expertise. He should be complimented. The business process needs improvement. In December I called for an appointment. the earliest was about February/March. I followed up in at that time and discovered my appt was cancelled. I received an email listed below that another George ** emailed that his service call was completed. One needs to check the email address for accuracy. ** in Greek is equivalent to Smith. The service rep then apologized and scheduled the technician.
The service call was to address the patio door rollers. Apparently, the patio panels are so heavy they distort the aluminum track. When I called this a few years ago, I was told the track was not covered under the lifetime warranty. I had two choices, replace the frame, that mean I just rip out the stucco, find a frame, and install it or I could have a track insert overlaid onto the original track. I took the latter choice. After a few years, the doors scrapped against the top. The technician reported the patio door weight has distorted the current track. I asked the technician to have Milgard management to call me. I await a call.
When I purchased the original patio doors, Midgard did not make a plastic door frame. My other Milgard patio door is plastic and the weight are not an issue. I am requesting the original warranty. I believe the Aluminum heavy patio door is a design issue and should be covered under warranty. Does Milgard have the original frame to order? What does Milgard offer as a replacement? Please elevate this to executive management. I await a call.

We had a problem with a Milgard Sliding Door that was installed over twenty years ago. Two very polite and efficient young men came out and had our door like new in less than thirty minutes. This cost me nothing.

Most of the communications and service was very professional. However, they had their appointment time mixed up. And when I called to talk to their manager, she was never available, and when she returned my call, she had wrong service date, and when I called again, she never returned my call. I have had better luck with emails.

We have had our beading replaced 3 times. The first 2 times it was the old beading with the bevelled edge. Not the most recent time but the time before, the service advisor had put in a request to have all the beading replaced with the new flat beading. Service advisor that came last was nice but not sure why the front of the house was not done even though we discussed and walked the house. I called the day of and spoke to supervisor and sent pictures almost 2 weeks ago. I was told that I would get a call back the next day and we are going on 2 weeks. Not sure what the hold up is.

The replacement glass is scratched in multiple locations. Looks like it's maybe from the tool used to put the glass in the frame. The window was dirty when the tech left, so I did not initially see the scratches.

The original 2 screens that came out were 94 1/4 high and the label on them shows as 94", with the extra 1/4" they are too large. The replacements came approx a month after ordering and one was the exact same size and again won't fit the other is 66" wide and should be 48 1/2 wide so not even close. I was on the phone for an hour this morning and was disappointed to hear the soonest day we can have someone come out is June 14th.

The windows that were replaced were defective at installation. Milgard service was excellent. I’m somewhat concerned as to where the quality control is prior to “new” installation. I made a huge mistake ordering my windows from Gold Coast - Hollister. Absolutely horrible. Everything about it.

Following new construction installation, A few of our transom windows had to be replaced because the seal got broken. One of our crank out windows had to be adjusted in both situations response was professional and seamless. Very happy with our windows and the warranty that comes with them.

Installer tried for close to an hour to get center post on our new Migard slider to bend into position. Wouldn't work. He stated that the slider was mismanufactured. Call company to get in touch with me. A fixer from the company came out and inserted an extension on the locking mechanism. Still center post clunks while shutting because it was never even looked at. Have to open and shut several times to get the door to shut properly and then lock. Very unsatisfied.

Service person arrived on time and went right at his job. Conversation was limited but very pleasant. I was amazed at the speed of his work. It may have been wise to have additional windows checked as we found 3 more windows that will need to be replaced.

When I called to schedule an appointment to have our sliding doors adjusted, the response was very helpful. The scheduled time was only a few days out and the techs called to let us know when they were half an hour away. The technicians were courteous and professional. Although I didn’t ask them, they wore covers over their shoes to protect our floors. I appreciated that. Our doors open and close smoothly and they are locking properly now. Thank you, Milgard team!

I was very pleased to learn that Milgard provides a lifetime warranty for their windows for original owners. I was even more pleased to learn that every window in our house was stamped with the original sales order so Milgard knew exactly what windows needed to be replaced. I had nine windows replaced along with adjustments to a few other windows. Their customer service and on-site technicians were wonderful to work with. The only issue was the scheduled time to get the windows replaced - unfortunately, their backup was 6 months. Based on what the technician said, they've gotten through their backup and future replacements should not take that long. Thank you Milgard!

Handle gear had been stripped of three teeth. The serviceman repaired the handle in about 5 minutes. That was great!!!! What was not great was waiting 6 weeks to get a serviceman to come. That is, in my opinion, way too long to wait and reflects negatively on the Milgard name. Perhaps something can be done about wait time!!!

I base this review on multiple experiences dealing with Milgard over a two year period. First window failure took four tries over an eleven month period to bring and install replacement glass properly. Second failure was three out of five panes in a bay window. Technician told me there was no failure, next technician admitted there was failure, took measurements, forgot to submit the measurements. Several months later they submitted and gave me a six week out appointment. The glass delivered was the wrong thickness. I then got a three week appointment. Installation was made. That's just two events. I have another two not quite as egregious. I laugh every time I'm forever on hold waiting for a representative from service to get on the phone... listening to the recording on how great Milgard's customer service is. You have been warned, just don't get involved with this company.

I called regarding a warranty issue in November 2017. I called back in January and was told there wasn’t a record of my call. This time is was logged. I called back six weeks later and was told I would have a new glass no later than March 5th. I called back March 5th and was told someone would contact me that week... no calls. I finally got the window fixed April 14th!

I'm so sorry to hear there was a breakdown of communication regarding your warranty service. This is not the level of service we are used to providing. We really appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can make corrections and improvements. Thank you.

Window ordered on March 30 and install occurred on April 11. Faster availability than usual and the window fit first time. Install was fast and the installer replaced blind batteries to facilitate the install.

Called to order replacement windows under warranty. I measured and called back to place the order. Was told the windows would be in by the following Friday and would be contacted by the installer. Waited... and then heard nothing. Called again, they said they didn't have any record of me calling the first time... transferred me to another person who was able to locate my order... but it still wasn't shipped yet. Waited another week, still not in. Called again, still not in the following week.
Six weeks later, windows were in and scheduled to be replaced. Installer came to put 19 windows in, only about 1/2 of them fit. Could my measurements be off? Of course, that's not my job. Did my neighbor have a problem too? Yes. Did they send someone to come do the measurements? Yes. Back to waiting again, another week before replacements were in again and correctly installed. Overall, the process took almost a month and a half to order 19 pieces of glass and have them installed into existing windows. They look nice, but the process to get to this point was very frustrating and discouraging to say the least.

The two gentlemen were early for our scheduled time which was fine with us. They were both polite and completed the job quickly. We love how our 8 foot sliding door works now. Would recommend Millard to everyone. The best customer service around.

I put Milgard windows in my house that we had built. 22 yrs later one window had a seal break & windows throughout the house were experiencing difficulty of sliding open. I called the Customer Service phone number & after a few quick questions confirmed my original ownership & was informed of the lifetime warranty. I was very pleased with status updates & the courtesy of Customer Service & field service. He showed us where to spray silicon to fix the sliding issue & where to purchase it. Now all our windows slide with ease! Milgard stands behind their warranty & I highly recommend Milgard.
