Your notice gave us 5:00 to 7:00 time for you to replace window. We made special trip from Eugene to Black Butte to be there between those hours. When we arrived the work had already been done. We could have rescheduled our trip if we had been notified of earlier time for your technician to arrive. Window replacement looked fine. Don’t know quality yet. If no leakage we will be happy.

I am very pleased with the way that this is handled. We've had a few windows replaced due to faulty gaskets. Other than the length of time to get the new window here, the replacement piece and time it took were excellent. I was on a conference call and the two gentlemen remembered my house from 2 years ago. These guys are GREAT! I showed them where to go and they took it over and were finished in no time.

I just received a new batch of clips that are the correct size and color. While I wish there were a little more communication (nobody let me know they were sent), I'm grateful to receive them. Thank you.

Our windows seem to be working nicely. But there have been some minor issues with handles and, especially, the clips that hold the screens in place, many of which broke when the screens were installed — or later, when the windows were professionally cleaned. The support staff was nice, and sent new clips, but each response was slow and without much clarity. As a result, we have received separate sets of replacement clips that were the wrong color, wrong size, wrong type, etc. Still waiting for the right ones.

Arrived right on promised day & time to fix stuck window in bedroom. Installer very pleasant and very efficient in doing the repair. Regret that I did not get his name so it could be posted in this service review. Very impressed with Milgard's response to our need and the professionalism of their service department.

Window installer came on time, the windows to be replaced were previously marked, so the technician started his work immediately, I was surprised how fast and efficient he completed the installation. I am not a writer but as a satisfied homeowner, I will continue to buy Milgard products. Thank you for a job well done.

The day before my appointment, Milgard called me and gave me a 2 hour window appointment. The day of, Milgard called me that they're on the way over to my house. A uniform technician named Ramon, drove up in a clean red Milgard truck and looked at my issues. Right away, he fixed my problems and left the place clean. I highly recommend Milgard and technician Ramon. Ramon is very knowledgeable and friendly!

French door windows - Thought we were suppose be notified two days in advance. All we got from the repair was a call at 7:30 am. We not answer it because we thought it was a robocall that early in the morning. Had no idea he was coming and we were not really ready at all for him. We scrambled and let him in rather than rescheduling and having to wait longer. Once he was in he did a good job.

Our windows were difficult to operate and didn't close correctly. A call to Milgard got a technician to diagnose and then repair them. They were efficient, professional, polite and courteous and our windows are now back working as they should. Thanks!

We had a warped sliding glass door, installed three years ago. They promptly sent a service tech to replace the bad part, which he did. I then asked him to look at another sticky window, and he fixed that in minutes. Courteous and friendly the whole time.

The office never contacted me except the scheduler, however the repair tag was wrong and I emailed pictures and stated what was wrong. The scheduler said she would notify my repair rep. That person never contacted me or follow up with an email, or replied to my email. The technician was great. Even though he did not come out with the correct work order he know how to fix the problem.

The window Alec ** came with was too big and he said he would have to reschedule and come back with the correct size window replacement. That was last week and I have not heard anything yet on rescheduling the appointment. Could you please follow up on this. Thank you.

It's been over a year. Quality of the door is 100% dissatisfied. 5 or 6 technician attempts to repair the brand new door but because the quality is so poor there really is not much your techs can do. Technicians who came to make repairs were very perfectional and respectful. We will never do business with Milgard again. I spend lots of money on this door and we will never be satisfied.

I was never given a call with a two hour window. Therefore the repairman showed up and no one was home. He called me and did his best considering someone dropped the ball on your end. I could of had someone here (I had a friend that was available) if I had known. Now I have to make another appointment and wait another month. NOT HAPPY.

Even though the wait is always a bit long on the phone the audio always gives a countdown so you know there will be someone ready to help. Every time I have called all your representatives are very kind and polite. Not only are your employees stellar, so are your window products! Initially frustrated as in email our technician would be arriving between 8:15-10:15. By 10:30 I called just to see if still coming. Well, time slot sent was incorrect. Between 10:30-12:30 was the arrival time. Alex came within that time frame & called ahead which was much appreciated. Repair was done quickly & efficiently.

We had a new studio shed installed this Summer with Milgard windows. There were a few minor parts that were broken that caused the windows and screens to not close properly. I opened up a case with Milgard back on 6/22/18. I had to have several back-forth and had to initiate contact several times. I was told more than once that the parts were being shipped when in fact they were not. Finally the parts did arrive last week and are the correct parts. Thank you for the parts but why did it take so long and so much contact from my side to get them? Until they arrived, I had duct tape helping to get the windows and screen in place. Some of my friends commented that they have had good experience with Milgard so my concern is what happened here?

I have had many warranty visits (at this and my previous residence) and the service is usually top notch, i.e. 5 stars. In this case the technicians turned up around 11 AM and not within the 2 hours window: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM that I was emailed on Tuesday around 5 PM. The technician said that they were there at the time window on their schedule. I emailed service to ask for an explanation and suggested that if the plans are updated you also update the customer. No reply yet. I had in emails ask for about 50 little plastic fillers that comes, when the windows are installed. The service department reply was, "We do not have those." One of the technicians, Ron, said they use to and he would look if they were still available and mail me some. Thank you.

Sean, the technician, was exceptional to deal with. He respected my apartment, upon arrival he put booties on over his shoes, assessed the problem, cleaned my window he replaced and was very polite. I hope all of Milgard employees are like Sean!

My door lock broke. It took 1 month for a response to my service request, which just asked for info I had already provided in the service request. It took another month to get back to me again after I again provided the original information for the second time. After waiting another 5 weeks with no response, I then started calling directly to try and resolve the issue. This did work after multiple calls in a 48 hour window. This seems painful and unnecessary. Why do you get kicked back to the bottom of the queue every time a question is asked of you in the online system? Apparently my part is shipped, so we’ll see...

Excellent job and beautiful window. Had 2 panes of opaque glass put together because one wasn't enough. It looks great! I wish they actually offered the two panes as an option and not the custom headache we had to go through. But we're very happy!

Had several windows fail due to moisture. Very large windows. The guys that came and replaced them did so in a timely manner and they look just beautiful. They were amazing to work with and I would definitely use them again... outstanding service.

We chose Milgard windows for their price and reputation of quality when we built our new home. It’s been a disappointment that they actually do not meet our expectation for quality at all. Frames are bowed and several windows are difficult to open and close. The frames do not appear to be well made as the seems in the corners have varying sized gaps.

Broken window replacement - I made my initial service call 2 months ago to set up the appointment. I received a confirmation call from Milgard the day before the service day. The service tech was prompt, he arrived within a half hour of the projected call, he was fast, courteous, and neat. I couldn't be more pleased. Especially since Milgard backed up their warranty statement "free replacement for life", very rare in the commercial world these days. So I'm a consumer customer of Milgard for life. THANK YOU!

This was my second set of window replacements in 16 years. What a great company! No questions asked, no charge replacement labor and materials completely covered. Polite, well trained technician sent to my home. He was quick and efficient, as was the first crew. Milgard is the gold standard in customer care in their industry. They also make great windows!

We had 3 issues. My front windows were difficult to open, one side door on the large French door was jammed and the lever handle on the other broke. I had to wait 7 weeks for the first appointment. The repairman fixed the windows and determined the part needed for the window that was jammed. He was not given the replacement handle. I had to call a week later and waited an additional 4 weeks for the next appointment. The repairman fixed the jammed door but was not given the handles. He told us he would have them sent. I called a week later, the wrong handles were sent after another week. I called last week with pictures and explanations, Devon, looked into the problem and just sent a note that she ordered the correct parts but it is going to take 3 to 4 weeks. She has been the only person in the office who has contacted me.
All the other times, I had to call back. This office has had two repairman look at the doors, and I have sent photos the serial numbers. I don’t understand why this has been so difficult. I believe this is the first negative review I have ever sent. I made the decision after being asked to wait another 3 to 4 weeks for a door handle.

The Milgard team was fast to address the issues with the windows I had. (Note: the windows fixed were from glass defects and scratches in the glass before install. 3 scratched out 25 ordered isn’t bad). The only slow part about this process was scheduling an appointment; there is only one day a week they service my area so there was a month and a half of waiting.

I was happy with the actual replacement. Your representative was awesome. I am NOT happy with how long it took to get an appointment for the replacement!!! My entire house including a sun room and the front porch are all Milgard products. I'm happy that you have sold so many windows but you need to get replacements done sooner than 2-3 months.

The man who first assessed all our broken seals also installed the replacements. He is friendly and efficient. Does not leave a mess. One issue is with the length of time it takes to get an initial appointment and then the length of time to get the new replacements. It seems unusually long.

We installed two large windows and a pair of sliding doors, fiberglass on the outside, wood clad on the inside. They are beautiful. There was a small problem with the retainer stops on the outside of one of the windows. I was concerned about getting service because we live in a rural community several hours from any metropolis. Milgard's people were lightning fast and very professional. The issue was fixed and installation proceeded on our tight schedule. Milgard's products and their service inspire confidence. These windows bring to ten the number of Milgard windows I have installed. I have many more to do, and they will all be Milgard.

After 12 years Milgard still stands behind its products. We saw some streaking between dual panes on our slider. I submitted a service request online and received a call in a couple of days. Scheduled an appointment and two guys showed up with the new glass. 20 minutes later my door was like new. Couldn’t be more impressed with Milgard’s customer service.

We had 5 windows replaced due to failing seals. It is going to take 3 trips to complete the job. Service reps were terrific. Warranty Service Department handled our situation very well. It would have been nice had the replacements not been stretched out so long.

The instructions for adjusting/raising a Milgard sliding glass door didn't work for my door. The door bumped into security blocks in the upper track. Milgard sent out a crew who arrived on time and quickly fixed the problem. They explained that the "security blocks" were only for shipping the product, and should have been removed during installation. Once the blocks were removed, the team quickly adjusted the door and were gone. No disruption, no mess, just success. Thank you, Milgard.

Had a very positive experience with Mary ** (A+). I have dealt with her in the past and also had good experiences with her too. Professional and friendly. I had a negative experience with Jenette on 7/12/18. ** I received the wrong size balancers. (I may have given her the incorrect balancer #). I re-ordered them and called on 9/18/18 to check on the status of them. Mary answered and found they had not been ordered. Poor customer service from Jenette! (F grade). This survey is for Mary though. Jenette's supervisor needs to talk to her about her dropping the ball on my re-order.

The first time the service tech came out to replace the failed unit, the grids on the replacement fixed panel did not align with the existing sliding panel. When they came back a second time, the grids were right, but there was one very evident (2") scratch on the glass, and, at least two other scratches that were not as obvious.

From the time I placed a request for a service rep to come to my home and confirm the necessity of replacing the windows that needed to be replaced to the date of installation was amazing! The fact that the installer showed up on time and called to confirm the timing of his arrival was perfect. Everything ran smooth, the installer was neat and I have never been happier with the whole process!

We bought our windows in 2000 with a lifetime warranty and have had several repairs under warranty. Now Milgard says they will not service our windows because we live in Hawaii. The window scissors operator clip broke off and the hinged arms are rusting out. Poor quality and even poorer customer service. They even attempted to say we did not own the property and that voided the warranty. We do indeed own the property and have the tax records to prove it.

I used the online contact form to notify Migard when I noticed condensation between the panes of a stationary window. I received a quick reply and was scheduled for a date to replace the window. The technician called on the day of the appointment to say he was on his way. He arrived even before the scheduled time. He was very pleasant and in a matter of 15 minutes had the new window installed.

Submitted online claim 6/18/18. Provided original receipt for window with wooden sash/balancer that needed repaired. First appointment scheduled 7/17/18 and balancer replaced but damaged window sash needed replaced. Six emails were sent with information about what needed replaced and sent multiple pictures of damage. Found another white fiberglass window sash in another room with same damage and pictures/description/numbers sent for that window to be replaced too. On September 11 another repair person sent to my home and he replaced the wood window but he didn't have the white fiberglass window! Very frustrating. Now I'm supposed to be having the white window shipped to me but no tracking numbers have been provided. Less than satisfied with the Milgard experience to date.

Our windows were initially purchased through a 3rd party in November of last year. We were told it would be 6-8 weeks before they would be ready. At the end of January, I started to follow up with the 3rd party who was not getting a firm timeline from Milgard. The windows were not ready until the end of February. We finally got them installed in March. We had an issue with the installation of one of the windows, due to the delayed availability. We had that installed in May. Within a couple of weeks, we noticed that it was hot to the touch on the inside. We reached out to the 3rd party, who after several weeks of not returning calls, put us over to the Milgard rep. We tried contacting him for several weeks before he got back to us. He came and said he would replace the window.
After several more weeks of waiting, we reached out to Milgard to see what was going on with the replacement window. They got back to me and said they were not sending a window. They would need to get a tech out to make sure that it was manufactured properly. He came and said that it had the proper coating. There was no way to check to see if it had the argon gas that was an insulator. They could not replace the window. So, the windows look good, but do not insulate against the heat in the afternoon. Customer service is frustrating that after severe delays in the factory, customers were not kept informed and employees do not get back to customers.

Replaced 3 windows. The installation group arrived on time, efficiently went to work, did take off their shoes in the house, worked quietly while talking with one another, and cleaned the windows inside and out. There was no debris or garbage left.

My door lock failed on my patio doors. I attempted to resolve unaware of the warranty. Yes, dumb homeowner. I called Milgard and Arik in Service was extremely helpful in getting me on the schedule due to the weather and a door that could not be locked. The technicians that came out were great, understanding and already had the replacement mechanism for the lock. Great Job.

I called Milgard as our 20 year old windows were difficult to open and close. They sent a technician out to check the 8 windows. He ordered new balancers for all and the tech returned to replace the parts. Very efficient and clean. Milgard has always been responsive to any needs I have had with their windows of which we have ordered for multiple properties.

When my new windows showed up one of them was broken. It took almost 3 months to get a service tech out here to fix it. I spent around $5000.00 to get all new windows in my house and had a front broken kitchen window for 3 months that to me is unacceptable. Terrible customer service.

Although scheduling was nearly 2 months out in time, it was not a mechanical failure, merely cosmetic. The technician Kevin called when he was a few mins. out to confirm. He was very professional, polite, and engaging. He replaced a couple of strips of casing (Exterior molding) which had warped and detached from the frame. He was in and out in just a few minutes. I have had MANY repairs by Milgard over the 16 years I have owned my house ranging from new dual paned windows as a result of a glazing breach in the 2 panes, to wheels, sash balancers and other misc. issues. The technicians consistently meet or exceed my expectations. If anyone looking for new windows, I would recommend Milgard without hesitation based on their customer service alone.

We are the original owners of our home in Quail Creek, Green Valley, AZ. Milgard windows were installed at the time of building. We couldn't be happier with the choice made by the builder. The only issues we have had is the weather seal breaking and moisture collecting between the sheets of glass. Each time we have an issue Milgard is right out to replace the problem.

Overall, very happy and all the windows were fixed and replaced. The work was done each time in a timely manner and the workmen arrived when they said they would. However, we ended up with numerous service calls, which did not seem necessary. We had different workmen each time and each time they did not assess all the work that should have been done and completed.

Skylight leaking and 2 windows had spots between glass - Installers were great, only two problems were time to get thru to service and other is the length on time to get them inspected and then installed. These are the only reason I couldn’t give all stars, but in the end everything turned out great.

Had a representative of Milgard Windows repair an aluminum window frame. The person that did the repair did an excellent job and would highly recommend Milgard Windows to anyone thinking about replacing windows in their house. Our windows were originally installed in 1990 and the Milgard Window folks have never questioned a repair that I have requested. The Milgard Window folks definitely know what good service is all about.

The installers had a broken window to install. I was never told where it was broken - at the warehouse or in transit. Nevertheless, a Milgard representative replaced the window, which went well. A screen was missing from initial installation and it took several tries to get a correctly sized screen that was not damaged upon arrival. I finally had to pick it up myself at the Milgard warehouse. The whole process took many weeks to finally resolve.

Victor ** was very helpful, pleasant and professional. He performed the repairs quickly. Unfortunately, even though I had specified that one awning window's crank "does not operate", Mr. ** was not supplied the appropriate parts to fix this problem. He showed me how to replace the broken part and said he would order one to be shipped to me. I was fine with this solution, rather than rescheduling for another service calling six weeks.

Window section of French door - The final work was outstanding, Eddie and Carl. However I reported the problem and first ordered the window replacement in June. The final work was Sept. 4, It took 7 weeks for the first incorrect door to arrive. Eddie drew a picture and ordered it again. Another 7 week order. Summer was gone, all guests for the season had left and we have enjoyed the window such a short time.

Window replacement due to fogging in-between glass panes - The installer, Kyle, was on time, courteous and efficient. He was in and out quickly after installing the replacement glass. He even repaired another one of our Milgard windows. He did a great job.

Previous glass had moisture between the layers on all 8 windows. Visit to install new glass had to be rescheduled because of need for two technicians vs. one. This crew was somewhat later than planned, but arrived with enough time to complete the work and they did a good job.

After 11 years, Milgard repaired all our windows and sliding door (not just the few we had problems with)! We had a lifetime warranty and there was no charge. Everything works better than new! The reps were awesome - very timely and efficient, and there was great communication with us. Our experience could not have been better!

I had to have 4 windows replaced due to broken seals - the only issue with that service was the next day I raised one window and it wouldn't hold - just dropped back down. I called to have the guys come back and fix that issue and was told they couldn't come out again until the end of Sept. a month away. They sent me the "fix" but when I received it (2 weeks later) there were no instructions and appears that I have to remove the window myself???? Put these long brackets somewhere and replace the window??? Sorry, no can do. I don't understand why someone couldn't have stopped by (there are in this community practically every day) and just fixed it.

Two of the windows in my garage had foggy glass. I installed them approx. 10 years ago. The appointment to get service was easy to make and the office was helpful with setting up a good time. The technician called when he was a half hour from arriving and was on time. All work was performed by a polite and competent service man. The work was done exactly as planned and started and ended as planned. The workmen were neat, polite, obviously well practiced and very professional. The windows work smoothly. One window was damaged and the foreman issued an order immediately for its replacement. We are very pleased with both the windows and the installer. We had thin aluminum framed windows previously and these window frames are thicker so less window but our primary motivation was to install windows that would protect in a wildfire and these are not only double pained but also double tempered.

After two years of use our sliding door became difficult to open. I called Milgard for help and though it was repaired well and the repairman was pleasant and knowledgeable, I had to wait approximately 4 weeks. This is much too long to wait for service. We are shopping for replacement windows for our house. Milgard was our preferred choice but that has changed.

My windows were installed and PAID IN FULL in JUNE. The dealer (Custom Windows of Texas) made a show of notating my concerns around all of the crooked grids (inside and outside). Told me they would order a replacement sash for one that they screwed up and they would get all of the grids fixed asap... It is now 2 months later and NO ONE has done a single thing to fix these issues. I am fixing to blow this up on social media and I won't stop until you fix it. Shame on you!!!

Milgard contacted me after this review on Consumer Affairs, unto which I explained my issue right away.
I followed up once again with them after a few months of not hearing from them, and then my issue was addressed.
I wish I had not been the likely anomaly that was overlooked, but I am satisfied that once they discovered the error, they did address and compensate. Because they chose to take accountability for what transpired, I would believe Milgard is a company that has integrity and would consider choosing to install their windows again.

I had a bay window installed by a company in Santa Ana, CA who had recommended Milgard windows. First Install Attempt on 2/12/18: The first window installed began leaking, a service request to Milgard was entered 3/12/18. The first available appointment for a Milgard technician to come out was 4/10/18 (nearly a month later). They confirmed the manufacturing defect and a replacement window would be ordered. Second Install Attempt on 5/30/18 (Over 3 months after initial window install): The order for the window was placed correctly by the installer, but Milgard shipped the wrong window. We only noticed this after the install, thus I had a bay window that did not meet code by falling short of egress.
Third Install Attempt on 6/20/18 (Over 4 months after initial install): After this THIRD instance, a bay window of the correct specifications was finally installed. (I am uncertain whether it leaks since the rains will not come again until Fall\Winter). I worked with the installer. Respectfully requested the installer to request compensation from Milgard and consideration of what I have experienced as a consumer. They state the sales manager they were working would not respond with a resolution.
I find it disappointing that I went through nearly 4 months awaiting a product I purchased -- and dealt with a faulty product, multiple appointments, the wrong product, damage to the property and taking time to accommodate multiple installs so that a Milgard sales manager would not even respond to customer concerns regarding any type of compensation for falling short of delivery of quality service or product.

I had an apointment between 7:30 am and 8:00 am on Friday 8-17-18. At 7:45 I called the rep to see if he was on his way, he said he was. I called a friend to stand in for me because I needed to go to work. The rep arrived at 8:30 am, after looking at the Windows, he told my friend that the Windows were not Milgard Windows because Milgard never made single pane windows. The rep said he would call me but he never did. I purchased these windows from Milgard around 1982 or 1983. I have been serviced by milgard before for the same issues but now the rep claim milgard never made those windows. Who can I speak with to get my Windows services. An argon-filled window in our house, constructed in 2005, became cloudy with condensation. After discovering that the windows have a lifetime warranty, I contacted Milgard, and the response was outstanding. Though it took some time to submit the correct documentation, the customer service reps were unfailingly professional and efficient. After living in our house for over 24 years one of our sliding glass doors developed a leak so that there was constant moisture between the panes of glass. First, I would rate the courtesy and punctuality of the installing techs 5*. However, the fogged windows replacement process started in SEPT 2017! Wrong orders and/or production made 4 VISITS necessary. We do not understand how so many errors happened so many times. Previous experiences with Milgard have been 5*, but we were very frustrated with this one. The windows are good, but there seem to be some training/personnel issues going on.

My Patio Door stopped sliding/rolling, a day to day need. I was given a repair date 2 months from when I contacted them (and I had to call, there was no response to filling out their request for service form). We had to repair it ourselves even though it was under warranty. This was very difficult because the door is very heavy and we are not so young anymore. But we did it and the door works great again, needed to clean and lubricate the wheels. Things do get gummed up down there after 20+ years.

We received a sliding glass door that we had ordered from Miller glass. When it arrived it was out of square. After the first call, they promptly showed up at our home to help square it up, however there was a viable crown in the head jamb, and less than satisfying. After three attempt arrange an appointment or a series of miscommunications or possibly lack of follow up we have not heard from Miller Glass or from Milgard with a date for this repair. I have been doing business with Miller Glass for over 30 years now but someone dropped the ball with one. I am planning to make my fourth attempt tomorrow.

The Milgard staff that realigned my in-swing patio doors did so quickly and efficiently. I wish I had called sooner for a service appointment. The doors open and close freely with a minimum of effort. Then they replaced my 'old' broken handle on my vinyl sliding door with a new design and did so very expediently. The actual repair of 3 windows took less than 15 minutes. The technician called ahead of time, was very efficient and knew exactly what to do. The worst part of this experience was getting the repair scheduled. I submitted a repair request online in June and did not receive any response in over 2 weeks. I finally contacted Milgard by phone and scheduled the repair for August. If I had known that the online request would not be addressed, I would have simply called to schedule the appointment instead of waiting for a response. Overall, I am satisfied that the lifetime warranty worked and that the windows are now completely functional.

Windows are lovely, but the service is lacking. I need service on a Milgard window so I submitted a request on the Milgard website. I received an email response saying that they were overloaded with support calls and would not be able to respond immediately, which is fine, but three weeks later I still had had no further contact. I called the company and am dismayed that it will be at least *another* three weeks before a technician can even come out and about 2 more weeks if the window needs to be replaced. I think this is an unacceptable level of customer support and am very disappointed. When another brand of window in another home needed service, a representative was on my doorstep within 48 hours and the repair done within a week.

The three (3) stars are for the two (2) technicians that performed the in-home work. Professional, neat, organized, friendly and excellent communicators. The office personnel (including the area Supervisor) leave a lot to be desired. We purchased 21 windows less than five (5) years ago (based on the manufacturing marks I was shown inside the window). As of today, a total of five (5) have failed and subsequently been replaced.

Ordered upgraded patio screen. Never received screen listed on screen door serial. Patio door ordered June 16, 2018. Received July 06. NO SCREEN. Latest phone call said maybe end of August because Milgard does not manufacture the screens. Repair tech came to fix two manufacturing defects that caused the patio door to not close. One defect was in the upgraded door lock. (Part installed wrong. Tech said the installer incorrectly installed a part in the bottom track wrong. (The installer never touched the part installed backwards). Both defects have been corrected. STILL WAITING FOR THE SCREEN AND SUMMER IS ALMOST OVER.

I have received the 2nd incorrect screen for my new window. The first came with the original and now the 2nd is exactly the same as the first. The window is "approximately" 24 in wide and 29 in tall. Both screens are 29 in wide and 24 in tall. The tension springs are on the 29 in edge. I explained this when trying to correct the original problem. Also the 2nd screen was bent in transit making it unusable. Need help.

I installed (4) Milgard windows and 2 sliding French doors in my house in Summer of 2012, and they have been great—except for the color of the vinyl on the south side of the house. When getting a quote on a new Milgard door I wanted to install to replace an old door, I asked if perhaps I should see about getting the window fixed or replacing it with a fiberglass one at the same time. Because the paint process is different, the fiberglass color might last longer. My dealer suggested I call Milgard, they’d send someone out, and that probably they wouldn’t credit me toward a new window or replace it, but they might at least paint it.
Service wait time on the phone was way too long, so I took photos and emailed via the website. I got a return call the next day saying they would send someone out on the next available appointment—6 weeks later. I patiently waited 6 weeks, holding off on my order for the door, and the service rep showed up early—as I had requested which was nice. However, that’s where it went downhill.
I showed him the window and said, that’s it. It really is just looking at it to see if the color deteriorated beyond an acceptable amount. He said, “I don’t even know why they sent me out. They said to take pictures. But that’s just natural weathering.” I said, but I have a lifetime warranty. He said it wasn’t covered. I said Yes it was. It was so bad, he even thought the paint was a different original color. I asked if he had an original paint chip with him.
His reply was, “I do, but that’s for me, not for you.” I said, “I’m the paying customer and it is for me to see how far off the color is now six years after installation.” He argued and he finally begrudgingly got it from his vehicle. I’ve attached the picture here. I had to tell him to take a photo of the window with the original paint chip as well, as all he did initially was take a photo of the window exactly as I had done six weeks earlier with nothing to compare it to.
He told me that was natural weathering and not covered under warranty and I could take it up with his office. So I asked for his boss’s name and he gave me her first name, but didn’t know her last name. I asked for the CEO’s name to take it to the top, and he said he didn’t know the man’s name. The next morning, after receiving this request for review, I called the office to ask, "Before I write this, can we make this right?" Maybe it was just that rep. I was told not to speak to the service manager, but that a higher level technician would get back to me within 48 hours. That did not happen, so I called and left a message with the service manager. Still no reply.
Their website states “Some of our competitors’ paint reflects damaging UV rays, which over time can dull, warp and crack the paint. Milgard Premium Exterior Vinyl Finishes, on the other hand, are translucent. New coating technology allows UV rays to pass through Milgard paint** so that the vinyl reflects the UV rays. This preserves the exterior color and finish.” The warranty states that it doesn’t cover “natural weathering.” So where exactly is the line between “natural weathering” and this line about exterior color being preserved? Painting the window yourself leads to voiding warranty.
Here’s a photo of Espresso vinyl windows six years after installation. Consider this when ordering it to match your Tudor style house trim. Within 6 years, it will dullen and fade and there’s nothing you can—or nothing they will—do about it. I was hoping I just got a sub-par rep on my case. But their failure to address my concerns makes it evident this is not just a problem with one person. I will be seeking other options for my new door now too, and recommending to anyone who wants Milgard windows to research other companies who will provide better service and stand by their products.
Updated on 09/11/2018: I was asked to contact social@milgard who said they would take care of it. I did get a call from the local office 7 business days later as the email stated would happen. Paul, the tech, was very nice and confirmed what I had been told by corporate that they would send him out with a spectrophotometer which would be able to quantify if the color had weathered beyond acceptable range. Great! I made an appointment the next week, and because I have to go to work, I was promised the first appointment between 8:30 and 9am.
A little after 9am, when I hadn't even received a 20 minutes heads-up-they're-on-their-way call, I called the office. I called Paul's cell and left a message asking where someone was as well. The office nor I could reach him. At 9:45, I left with still no contact from him, and phoned the office again to say I need a new appointment since they hadn't shown. I was told I had to wait for manager approval since the earliest appointment they had was October and clearly I needed something sooner. I did not get a callback. I waited until Thursday to update social@milgard and was told it would be handled.
On Friday at 5:05pm, I received a call from them. I was speaking with someone in person so I did not answer the ringing phone, finished my live conversation, then checked my voicemail three minutes later. It was Milgard asking when I wanted an appointment the next week, but that since they were closed, I couldn't call back till Monday. Really??? Monday morning at 9am I called back to try to get the next day's appointment, and the person said she needed to speak with a manager because she didn't know anything about it. Four hours later, I got a callback to get the first appointment the next day.
Paul came out on Tuesday August 28th, 4 weeks after my first meeting, 10 weeks after requesting service. I thought it would be terrible, but I was pleasantly surprised. Paul was kind and informed and showed me the meter and how it worked. He tested a few areas on the window as well as my other Milgard windows as a sort of base testing. The vinyl window in question was indeed out of range. Paul said that he would advise the office that the painter Joe should make an appointment to come out and paint it. Right before leaving he noticed that the glass itself had streaks. I thought it was dirt. He said nope, the seal failed--the most common warranty issue. He said he would note that as well and someone would be in contact with me to make an appointment to change the glass--which had to be done before painting.
That interaction was a 5 star experience. That's the customer service I expected the first time. Getting there was a struggle though. And the struggle isn't over... I waited until September 4th to notify social@milgard that although the experience was better with Paul than my first appointment, I still don't have a resolution. She said she would send an email.
Now, one week later, and still no appointment to put an end to the epic window saga of 2018. June 22nd is the date I submitted my online form with a picture of the faded vinyl. We're nearing 12 weeks (3 months.) An entire quarter of a year and no resolution. Perhaps they are understaffed. Perhaps they need more local offices in the area. Either way, a lifetime warranty is rather pointless when it takes an entire lifetime to resolve a claim.

After 23 years, a 5ft by 4ft window developed a broken seal, and fogging. One call to Milgard; they found our 1995 order and scheduled a replacement (no cost to us). We're also building a new home & ordered all Milgard again.

Serviceman was polite, clean and very knowledgeable. Our sliding door was very hard to slide after 12 years. He quickly replaced both rollers and the entire track. He also noticed the handle was becoming loose from it being pushed so hard and tightened and lubricate that also. In 25 minutes he gave us what seems like a brand new sliding door. I made contact with Milgard with regard to defective window latch. I was given a case number and was told that someone would be in contact with me. No one made contact with me. I sent messages on 3 occasions and never did hear anything back. I finally called, and asked where I could get the part and that I would fix the window. The nice lady I talked to on the phone said that she would have the part sent out within 3 days. I give her a A and a C- to whoever deals with written communications. We love our Milgard windows.

We have just installed our Milgard windows and doors for a new build. We spent close to $24,000 and the product is the most inferior we have ever experienced in over 40 years of professional building. Over 80% of the windows and doors are damaged. Some are severely than others but all have numbers scratches, dents, the touch up paint has no chance of covering the numerous scathes. On inspection the internal workmanship was also poor. We selected black as the colour, the door colour is completely different back than the windows, the black coverage is poor and on each product numerous spots you can see the see the white undercoat showing. Door hinge were bent, sliding door did not opening correctly. We have a white door handle for a black door frame, fly screens are damaged and need to be replaced, one window frame so badly damaged that it has to be replaced.

The crew arrived on time and were pleasant and professional. The problem with the vertical bolt lock was resolved. The crew explained that one of the lock receptacles had to be moved slightly. They also installed new rollers on the slider and replaced access plugs that had been missing when the door was delivered. I explained that after unpeeling the plastic glass on the indoor slider after installation, that I had noticed a small scuff (scratch). I was not sure if this was glue or glass damage so I referred it to the service tech. I had mentioned this to the dispatcher when placing the original service call.
The crew recommended that I call the warranty department to replace a glass replacement. I thought they would be prepared to do (if necessary) during this visit. After the crew left, the slider frame seemed to bind against the stationary member when closing, making an audible (and palpable) clunking sound that was not a problem before the service visit. I will now need to request another service call to address the problem with the scratch and the hard closing of the door. Crew seemed well intended and well-trained but this door seems to have some built-in operational problems.

I complained about both French door side light latch mechanisms grinding and hard to function. The technician that came out said doors were new and mechanism needs time to break in. So far the door latch mechanism is still grinding when opening the doors and maybe getting worse. Plus the right side light is hitting the frame when the door is closed.

The technician arrived on the early side of the appointment window and were surprisingly fast if not too fast swapping out 5 panes. Other than the obvious clearer glass it is hard to tell they replaced the windows. Thank you for the good service. Only minor criticisms were that the appointment date was several weeks from my original call with the issue and the tech had to come out twice. The first time to measure, even though I already gave the measurements of my failed windows, and the second time to do the repair.

Slider installed in December 2017. Contractor didn't adjust screen door properly. When we started using it in May, had the Milgard technician come out. Very professional and adjusted it properly. One month later the top roller broke on the sliding screen door. I went to the office in Tualatin and was told to fill out a form stating my problem and parts needed. Nothing happened for 3 weeks. I called parts and service and received immediate attention to the problem (same day). Said I would have the part in about a week. A lot of time and trouble for a maybe $1.00 part. Haven't solved the problem yet, but confident it is in the works.

We were told it would take about three weeks to hear back and there was not a good feeling as to Milgard living up to the warranty. I am holding out hope and waiting to hear.

We built our home in Colorado's Rocky Mountains a year ago and we've had trouble getting our windows to stay closed. This summer, we've had strong winds and my window screens won't stay in place. Because I have casement windows, the screens have flown into my house and in doing so have broken an expensive Tiffany lamp, my orchid pots and caused gouges in my walls and floor. Once the screens fly into the house, I can't get them to snap back into the windows. Temperatures in my mountain community have been in the 90s and 8 of my windows can't be opened because I have no window screens in them. I have no air conditioning because it's not usually needed here and the house is miserable with the windows closed. In addition, I can't get some of the windows to close all the way, and with no screens, we are getting lots of bugs in the house at night.
We are also having trouble with a patio door that the locking mechanism has fallen out of and a back door that sticks when you try to close it. I submitted a service request on July 9th and it's July 23rd and I still haven't heard from a customer service professional except for an email that said they were very busy. I've called and been put on endless hold that I don't have the time for. We are hot and uncomfortable without window screens and I can't lock my slider. We spent a lot of money on our Milgard windows because of their presumably excellent warranty but what good is a warranty when you can't get anyone to call you back and you can't get service in a timely manner? I rarely leave negative reviews but this is outrageous.

We keep the slider clean even inside the rails. Even with that said the screen door was not sliding and was stuck. Millard came out and fixed the issue quickly and professionally. The Millard repair service took care with keeping anything they touched clean and wore carpet covers to keep our rugs clean but I told them it wasn't necessary. Awesome awesome company!

First of all the orig. Date was supposed to be July 11th, no show, found it was rescheduled to Wed. July 18th. No one notified us about the change, then nobody called us in advanced regarding the time of day for our appt., Jose called us Wed. Am around 8.00, said he would be there in about 30-40 minutes, well he showed up at 11:30, then he said he was going to replace the windows now, nobody said they were going to do it that day, we thought it was an inspection only.
Nothing was prepared for them, my husband had to move furniture and take down blinds that second. They were in a hurry, it was a mess, he was pissed at them, no respect for our belongings, they wouldn't shut the door every time they went outside, let flies in, then they had the gall to bang the window frame against our woodwork in the bedroom, instead of taking it outside do it, just completely rude in how they conducted themselves in our house. They made such a mess, my husband just told them, "et out of our house, I will clean up". Never will I recommend this brand to my friends or family, just disappointed with the entire process.

The only issue I have is not about him--the night before my appointment the window for his arrival was expanded, via automated message, providing an earlier arrival for the window, 8:00 a.m. I had tried to explained when making the appointment that the original window was too early for me as it was, but I would've had to wait too long to get things fixed. Naturally, he arrived right at 8:00. Lastly, I hope this FINALLY fixes the leaks I've been experiencing ever since the windows were installed. I called Milgard in April of 2018 to request placement windows for warrantied windows that had fogged. I was told someone named Cornelius would call me/email me in May with installation information and to call back at the end of May if I had not received any information. I called the first week of June stating no one had called me and that my windows were in Illinois. Cornelius would be contacting me about installation. No one contacted me. I called towards the end of June/beginning of July, same information. I just called yesterday, July 18 and was told that the glass manufacture was behind and the Customer Service rep began to relate how someone had been waiting since April for their install. I reminded her that I was a customer with a similar problem and wanted this resolved.
Once again, Cornelius is supposed to contact me. I am so frustrated with this company and was surprised to see so many four and five star reviews. Perhaps they are only for new work and not warranty work. This has been an enormous disappointment and certainly an experience that will inform any conversations I have with others that are looking for a reputable company for windows. I have had to initiate all calls to find out the status, the customer service personnel did not give me an order number or any sort of information that let me know my failed windows under warranty were even being addressed, the run around from the customer service people has been absolutely disgusting.

We ordered the 10168 Bald Eagle Trail window 5/9/18 and now we still don't have the window. First window arrived yesterday and it was the wrong size. This is very disappointing. Service to install the window is top notch. This negative review is on the factory. 4 yrs ago - we never had an issue with the window replacement. We could contact the service person, give them the address, indicate what window in the house needed replacement, and in 3 weeks, we would have it replaced. Understand now that the window numbers in our file for the house do not match the windows we have installed in the house.

We had Blake provide excellent customer service in putting in new tracks for our sliding door that we could hardly open anymore. We appreciate him and his service and your warranty! However, we were told the reason we had such a long wait for the repair (almost 3 months) was because you would need to send 2 technicians to work on the door as it cannot be done with one person. Blake ended up by himself and rather than cancel on us, made it work... However that should not have happened to him or us! It's not fair to your employee and you really need to correct this before it happens again and someone gets hurt. On top of that you only sent 3 handles instead of 4 with him and now we have to wait again to receive that. Please work on this and please try and offer quicker appointment times in the future and you will nail it.

My Milgard windows fogged. The service rep was more interested in invalidating the warranty than in determining why the product failed. 3 calls to the appropriate supervisor received ZERO replies. A promise to help from a different supervisor (that took another 3 calls) simply resulted in a formulaic email response with a link to Milgard Dealers and more warranty jargon. Their only offer was to send out a tech to estimate cost of replacement which they said would be at least $300 NOT including parts and labor. Huh? What else is there to a job besides parts and labor? WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER and they DON'T stand behind their product.

The two technicians arrived on schedule and immediately started removing the old glass. One cleaned the new window while the other cleaned the old tape out of the window channels. They attached a suction device to the new window and installed it from the inside. The whole operation took less than an hour. They were very professional and had the correct tools to do the job -- high marks for a job well done.

Had black mold type build up across the bottom of the big picture window where the trim piece is in master bedroom and thought there was a track problem with the window next to it. The repair person replaced the springs on the small window to ensure it would work properly. Once he did that he tested it to make sure it opened and closed properly and smoothly.
The repair person then took the trim piece off the large window and found water in that area, which appears to be coming from sprinkler over spray outside. He cleaned the entire area up, had me adjust down the sprinklers that are throwing water on the window as well as sealed the outside part of the window where the water hits with silicone in hopes that these things will solve the black mold type build up on the inside of the window. Hopefully this will solve these problems.

Milgard is a first class company that is really concerned with customer service and satisfaction. I have a window wall that is 16 feet high and 18 feet wide. This is an east facing elevation, but the heat from the central California's climate is exceptionally high. The paint on the fascia has peeled off twice in 12 years. I now have metal fascia trim with powder coating to deal with the severe heat. Well, somewhere along the line, the windows blew a seal. I had bought these from a box store and put them in myself. I did not know what to do!
While I was at the glass shop getting a window repaired for my trailer, I mentioned my problem. The gentleman at Clovis Glass said all I had to do was send pictures of the manufacturing tag inside the window, and Milgard would take care of the issue. I called Milgard, sent the photos of the tags in on an email, and poof, I got new windows. While the technicians were at my house, they found 3 other windows that needed repair. Remember, the temps are around 105 - 110 in the summer, but Milgard replaced the windows at no charge to me. I know, I will always purchase Milgard for my window needs. Thank you Milgard windows for the great care and concern you provided in times where service is not high regarded by manufactures.

I had a Milgard french door installed on May 24, 2018. It was such poor quality workmanship. I took pictures and forwarded to the Milgard sales representative, who said he would put a "rush" order through and get another door. It's currently July 13, my french door has been backordered three times. The latest was last week with no ETA in sight. This is absolutely unacceptable Milgard, I've got the outside of my house which has been torn up for the entire summer and they simply keep backordering this door. There is no recourse, I haven't even had one phone call or follow-up from your sales representative, horrible service.

Repair person seemed unhappy. He told me it wasn’t a lock. It was a night latch that had broken (on this warranted window less than 2 years old) and that he couldn’t/wouldn’t repair it because "we don’t make these any more". I really don’t care if you don’t make them anymore! You made this and I want it fixed. He left.

The gentleman who came out was very helpful and fixed the problem, temporarily. But he showed me why it was installed wrong and the fix may not last. So the installers did a lousy job, but the repair guy you sent was great.

I placed a call to a warranty representative and my call was answered immediately and an appointment set up for replacement of window. I received a confirmation by email and a phone call reminder when the service rep would be at my home. He arrived on time, replaced window and I could not have been more satisfied. I have always had pleasant experiences with Milgard and recommend them highly!!

We installed Milgard windows almost 15 years ago and just recently noticed some discoloration in the glass. One phone call to Milgard and our glass was replaced at no cost. The technician arrived at the appointed time, was very friendly, and did a great job. Great customer service!! Would recommend Milgard to everyone.

It took over a year to get the issue with four large multi-unit windows resolved on a residence. The initial windows had aluminum glass stops that were not installed in a good craftsman like way. They were too short in places, not seated flat (angled out), hammered in place and dented on some (where they were cut too tight). It took several appointments before an outside contractor was hired by Milgard to fix the issues - even then this sub left before completing all the fixes and had to be called back. On previous appointments with a Milgard crew, they showed up not knowing anything about the issues and then later showed up without the necessary equipment and materials on more than one occasion. It was a generally exhausting process for myself - the architect - and the clients.

Ty has been to my home three times and I can't say enough nice things about him. Very efficient, prides himself on his customer service. He had to replace a window twice and adjusted my french door. He also replaced three windows for my neighbor. Two other employees came to replace a window for a neighbor - their customer service was bad. They told me to call a contractor to fix a door. Ty took care of it. High 5's to Ty.

My Milgard service experience was excellent. Several windows needed replacing including one that had a crazed outer pane. The service was done promptly and correctly. I am the original owner of our house which was built in 1995.

Starting with quote from Lighthouse Windows 10-8-17 and having Lighthouse back again 7-9-18. We have been in the process of having our defective Milgard windows repaired. In February (2-16-18) we submitted the quote from Lighthouse to order replacement windows, talked to June on 3-27-18 to check on order. Called again on 3-28-18 were told no glass had arrived. Called 4-6-18 to schedule. On 4-13-18 men came to repair windows and found that the glass would not fit, and were informed that the new glass would be reordered and that it should be in in three days. After calling and calling spoke to June 6-18-18 was told no glass had been received. Same answer on 6-20-18. Finally the new schedule was for 7-9-18. Yet again the men came and the glass does not fit. This is not the way to run a Company. Milgard is not a company if you want results. We really need help!

The service technician was courteous and friendly. He did his job and cleaned up after he was finished. He was quick and finished the job in under 1 Hour. I would recommend Milgard windows to my friends.

I contacted Customer Services (Treasa) on Nov. 30, 2017 and was asked (Milgard Service Request Case #**) for photos of the items that I needed replaced. I sent the photos with a detailed list of the windows and patio doors, including screens, that I needed fixed. On Dec. 1, 2017, Treasa emailed that it may take some time to look through the photos and she would email me when she was completed. After several weeks, I called her on Jan.16, 2018 for status. She stated that the screens were not under warranty because the screen manufacturer would not provide it. Regarding the items on my list, she could arrange for a technician to do an onsite inspection for $150 (plus tax).
I proceeded with this and the technician, Joey, did the onsite inspection on Feb. 1, 2018. He stated that he would arrange for the purchase of the screens and Treasa would respond to me for the other items (he would report his findings to her). I decided to proceed with the purchase of new screens to replace the damaged ones so Joey returned on Feb.6, 2018 and measured the screens (26) to be replaced. He reiterated that Treasa would notify me on the other items to be fixed.
However, when I didn't receive any response from Treasa, I emailed her on Feb. 26, 2018 for the status. On Feb. 27, 2018 I received the quote (for only the screens) but found an error, as well as, had a few questions for her. A few days later, as I was reviewing the quote again, I found that I identified the wrong item #s to her, as well as, found the measurements of two screens for my 3rd floor bathroom awning windows to be too wide. On March, 2018, I emailed Treasa with these corrections (including sketches) and requested an amended quote so I could order the screens. Joey called about the errors but I was having difficulty in describing the situation so I referred him to my email and sketches that I sent to Treasa. I assumed that this would clarify what I was attempting to describe and would therefore have the quote corrected accordingly.
However, after not receiving any feedback, or amended quote, on April 30, 2018, I emailed Treasa for assistance. On May 1, 2018, she emailed the original quote (not amended as I requested). I informed her of this; I later reflected (and informed Treasa) that my assumption that Joey would understand what I was trying to describe by looking at my email and sketches may not have occurred so the person doing the quote may not be aware of the need to amend it. I asked Treasa to assist in clearing up any misunderstandings and to have the quote amended so I could proceed with ordering the screens. I followed up with Treasa on May 31, 2018 and June 19, 2018 but have yet to receive any response.
So from Dec. 1, 2017 to the present, after sending photos, paying $150 for an onsite inspection by a Milgard technician, attempting to correct the quote for screens, repeatedly asking for the status on the other items, nothing has been repaired and I don't know the current status of my case. Perhaps this case could be escalated to someone who can assist Treasa resolve the matter.

Glazing bead repair on large fixed pane window. Appt was scheduled professionally, and a knowledgeable, polite service person showed up on time and was done within 30 minutes. I appreciated the online video that helped me to locate the registration number of the window to call in for service.

My house fronts the ocean so things get quite damp often. The windows fronting the ocean got fogged up. Milgard came out and replaced four of the sliding windows. Service was great. The repair person was very polite and professional. I have Milgard windows in my other home and I’m very satisfied with the product and their service.

Years after our beautiful French doors were installed, the lock stopped working. We had our locksmith look at the problem, and he said that there was a small alignment problem with the door that he couldn't fix. We called Milgard, who scheduled a repair visit. The technicians arrived early, but politely asked whether it was okay to start their work early or whether they should wait. I asked them to start right away. They did a thorough check of the doors and made several small adjustments, after which the lock worked perfectly. They were polite and punctual, explained everything they were doing clearly, and completed the repairs quickly, too.

Milgard said they would send parts and instructions for my defective windows but did not. I followed up multiple times over many weeks without receiving any response. Most of my windows that are supposed to go up and down will no longer stay up and the pieces are supposed to hold them up, fall out. I also asked what UVA UVB protection are in the windows, and if they have any options for such, without any response. A window tinter told me the glass has no added protection from the sun. I will be adding protection after market.

Replaced Cloudy Upper Pane in Kitchen - Replacement went well. When looking at the lower pane after taking the screen off, the inside between the glass was also cloudy and needs to be replaced just like the upper one. Will you make arrangements for that and advise. The time to get a repair done seems too long, but other than that, things are good.

I have never been disappointed with Milgard in any way. The technicians arrived and were friendly and totally competent in their installation of a new cell. I asked the technician to check the other three windows in the slider and he told me to call Milgard and have new ones ordered because the seal was compromised in all three. I told him I did not want to take advantage of the warranty because they were only slightly clouded. He told me it would continue to get worst and encouraged me to have them replaced. I am a designer who recommends Milgard to every Client that I have. They are wonderful windows with few complications dealing with the sun, heat and fog at the beach. I love your product and the customer service is always perfect. Thank you!

I utilized Milgard replacement windows for my entire house. This is the best home improvement I have made so far. I had a problem with the screen door on the patio slider. When the technician came to repair/replace 1 of the movable panels on our windows, he actually replaced 2. The other window is one that I called in well after the original call, but he was able to fix it at the same time. I was not home, but a neighbor came over to let him in. She said he was very polite and quickly and efficiently conducted his work. He was clean and considerate of our home. Even though it took quite a while, from the time I originally contacted Milgard, it was worth the wait to get my windows replaced.

Although I am a little unhappy that 3 out of 16 Milgard window panes in my house have leaked over a 10 year time period, I am pleased that Milgard repaired them under warranty. Warranty service took a couple of months, but windows are now like new.

We purchased beautiful wood clad windows in 1995 or 1996. Several times the casement window hardware has needed to be repaired or replaced, including in 2017 when 2 of your techs came and fixed them. This year when they again need to be repaired or replaced your company is telling me it is not your hardware. No other company has touched them, why would they when they are under lifetime warranty? Because this has happened so many times, now you are not owning up to it and can just say it is not your hardware so not your problem? I just want my windows to open and close as promised when purchased.

Built this house almost 14 years ago, Milgard installed all our windows (about 35) all double paned, several became "smoked" after about 10 years. Called my contractor, she told me they had a lifetime guarantee, Milgard came out and replaced them for "free". They were professional, quick, did a great job. We are really happy with them and our new windows, would recommend them to everyone. Should we ever sell this house this is the company I would buy my next windows from!
