    I came home to use my Sundance spa after hunting one day and it had about a foot of ice in it, so it destroyed it. I was gonna buy another Sundance but the company I went back to didn’t sell Sundance anymore. They had Marquis instead and when I went in to the place in Billings to look at the tubs, I was somewhat impressed with them. The customer service representatives knew what they were talking about. I dealt with Holly and she was really good and very helpful. She gave me all the information I needed and she helped me out with my claim on my insurance. The delivery people delivered the tub and they picked up my old one. They were quick and friendly and they did a good job. I like my Marquis hot tub. I don’t like their filters quite as well because I have to change them a lot more often, but they don’t cost near as much.

    I liked the look of the Marquis spa. It was in a good price point and it looked like a good spa, too. The Marquis representatives were good in explaining everything, so our interaction was relaxing and comfortable. Everything went smoothly. The installers came out when they said they were gonna come out and they went over everything with me. I love everything about the spa but I don’t like the jets. The jets are fine but the turning on them is so loose. Every time I get in, I have to reset them. I set them where I want them and then when I come back, I have to redo it because they're way too loose. They should be a little firmer so when you turn it to open it, it should stay open. I talked to the place I bought the spa from and he just said that's the way they are. I would probably not buy another Marquis spa, but still, I was happy with the overall experience.

    The Hot Springs hot tub we had prior was larger and had an extra pump. It was okay, but I was looking for something that was a little less maintenance. So far, the maintenance has been much easier on this Marquis spa.So far, it had been relatively easy to maintain. What I’ve had to do to it has been minimal, and I’ve been more than happy with the operation.

    Prior to the installation, I communicated with Marquis at the manufacturer’s location about the hookup and the information that I was looking for to give my electrical people. They were very helpful and emailed me pictures and diagrams. For the installation, we had the electrical fellows stub out a wire, but then I don't know where the guys that came hooked up the tub. My electricians hooked it up. They made to set it in place.

    Marquis has two locations that are within 30 minutes of where I live. I‘ve gone to one of their locations and they’ve been terrific. They did a great job in helping me keep the water balance and recommended what I need to do. They also helped with any kind of little issues I’ve had with operations. The tub suited our needs. I use it two or three times a week and it gets me going in the morning. I’m satisfied with Marquis.

    There is a shop near my house that is selling Marquis products. I compared them to the other ones the shop was selling, and I liked the Marquis. I was looking for a tub that has really good jets and has to be safe. I also have to be able to cover and lock it. I wanted the best brown and Marquis had a good one. It was a floor model where they got a good deal on it. The reps were wonderful. They gave a lot of information and insight, and then they came out and helped set up the tub. I live really close to the shop so I'm always over there, and they're very helpful and always available.

    The installation team was great. They were really friendly and very helpful too. They worked on time and showed me how to use all of my chemicals as well as gave me good tips on what not to do and what to do, which has caused my hot tub to last longer. We use the tub all the time and we love it. It's not totally self-cleaning, but it's a lot easier than some other spas. The Marquis is a great spa.

    We like our Marquis Spas 110-style hot tub. It worked out for what we needed, and we like its size and amperage. Purchasing the tub was great. When we had any questions, there was always an answer from the rep, and the answers have always been pertinent and right. The installers were great, and I watched them set the tub on our deck. I could tell they were experienced. They knew what they were doing. They put the stuff together very quickly.     Marquis is the only company that sold hot tubs that had unusual sizes. The majority of them are like 7x7, and Marquis sells corner units, some that are more rectangular versus square. The Marquis is my first hot tub and the installation was fine. Two guys brought the tub over and put it right in the spot where I wanted it. There was a bit of a motor issue, however, and something was rattling inside. I called them up and they sent me a brand new motor to put in which took care of the issue. Also, when there was water inside the control panel area, I called them up and they said that I was under my warranty, so it wasn't a problem. First, they said they ordered a new control panel and when that came in, they called me to schedule an appointment. Then another guy came out and installed it, and everything was fine. I’m very satisfied with the quality of the Marquis spa.

    I did some research and noticed that a local store carry Marquis Spas so I went in and talked to a salesperson. I also went to the spa show outside the town on a discount promotion and they had different types of spas there. I made a comparison and it seemed like the local brand and the dealership was highly reliable and good service. The salesman was excellent too, so we went with the Marquis tub and we were given a discount at that time.

    The retailer also did an excellent job on the installation. They brought a crane out and plopped the tub in the backyard. They took care of all that and it was very good service. Then, I had a minor problem where the automatic dispenser locked up and the local people handled that as well. For an old man, it’s nice and good to get in after my workouts. I’ve had an indoor pool and spa before, and I really used the pool. But now, having the Marquis tub is the best alternative to scaling down. I also recommended it to my son in Fresno and he’s dealing with the Fresno office in order to buy another one.

    This is my second hot tub/spa & the first was a Caldera spa which I had for over 10 years. When I moved from Austin to Albuquerque, I missed using my spa & looked around and decided on the Marquis Spirit. Although there were some initial problems (having to do with the internal PVC tubing which was made by another manufacturer and had some "shedding" problems), once they were resolved (took about 3-4 internal "cleanings" conducted by the local distributor), it has been pretty much perfect.

    It is a smaller one than I had previously, but I love that it is deeper (in fact, I need to use a booster pillow) and I use it regularly at least twice daily: drink my coffee and read my waterproof Kindle in the morning & then get in again at the end of the day. I chose this one both because it had a smaller footprint, but also because the jets are strong & really help loosen up my lower back after a day of sitting. I would definitely recommend this hot tub (and have done so) and imagine that I will have it for years to come.

    The only hot tub dealer in our town that I know about is a Marquis dealer. Based on the word and the reputation they have given us, I got a Marquis hot tub.     A friend of mine had a Marquis hot tub and he liked his. That was good enough for me so I bought one, too. I have the unit for almost a year and half now and so far, I haven’t had any problems. It does really well. Sometimes, I don’t get to use it as much as I’d like to, but other than that, I’m satisfied. The reps I talked to have been great and fantastic as well. Recently, the cartridge filter that goes down the hose broke. But they’ve replaced it and it was still in warranty. It was really easy to have it replaced because all I had to was pull it out. I’ve had good service out of my Marquis hot tub. My friend that has one has had his for 10 years and the only thing he ever had to do to it was to replace the top of the heater. So, if mine does as well, I’ll be happy.

    I like the depth of the seating of the Marquis hot tub. I’m a bigger guy and it’s got that good ergonomic hair in it that I can get down into it. I have the hot tub for about a year and a half now and I like it. But there’s a spot where it’s noisy or has water agitation and if you like that spot, that’s not a good thing. Other than that, Marquis' reps answered all my questions and I had no issues with them. The installation was also perfect. Recently, I broke off a valve stem and I replaced it. It was very easy to do.

    We bought a used Marquis to find out if we were hot tub people. We had a used one for about three years and got rid of that one. But I liked it, so I bought another one. However, when we bought our brand new Marquis hot tub and then filled it for the first time, it heated up to temperature and it left like an oil film all the way around the hot tub. And then, the filters were fully covered in oil so we had to drain it and clean the tub.

    Placeway Pools was on the phone with Marquis and they were saying that no oils were used in the process of it. But I work with Aviation Fuel, I know exactly what oil looks like when it’s floating on top of the water. Nevertheless, I was given a new set of filters and a couple other things, and the tub was filled up. Another bad thing is their labeling. The water gets in between the actual sticker and then the plastic that covers the sticker started to delaminate. I always keep my hot tub at 104 degrees, and about every year, the stickers start to peel and then I have to replace them, which is annoying.

    Marquis' dealer has been good and getting the hot tub installed was easy. However, I've had some problems with it. The dealer had to do a repair on it twice. It had a panel failure and they had to replace the control panel on it, and they also repaired the heater. The spa has the cartridges in it and the piece where you turn it, the handle snapped. It wasn't covered on the manufacturing warranty and I had to buy a replacement for it. I've had the Marquis spa for two years and I love it. However, with the two major component failures I've had, I'd hesitate to recommend it.

    When the Marquis team came out and installed the hot tub, they were very friendly, but they did not do any of the electrical hookups which I wasn’t aware of until they were on site, so I had to do that. Also, my old spa had two motors I could run everything in the tub on at the same time and with the Marquis tub, it's a little learning curve to get to either wanting the lower stuff or the back stuff. At first, I was unhappy with that but I have gotten used to it. I have fairly severe back problems, and the Marquis tub helped with some of that. There’s plenty of different positions in the spa that I can get in and get relief, but it would have been nice if the spa had a bigger filter system.

    Another thing is that some of the stickers in the control, where I punch in to turn the motors on, seemed to be mildewed under there and we’re not happy with that. They're a good spa and the finishes on them were nice, but there are some finishing that seemed to have an air leak and a lot of noise is made where the selector is. It goes to the different zones, but all in all, Marquis seemed like a solid-built spa and other than the hissing at the diffuser, it’s quiet.

    Marquis Spas has a good reputation, so I thought their hot tub would be a good one to get. I had a couple of other hot tub brands before, but they weren't very good. On the other hand, the Marquis tub has good quality and its therapeutic advantages were what I liked the most, so I went with it. I also liked all the different settings. The installation of the tub was excellent. The place that I bought it from did a really good job of taking care of me if I had any problems and I haven't had very many problems. I've owned my Marquis tub for two years and since its installation, it has made a big difference. For example, every morning and every night, I use it to get loosened up so I can function.

    When we moved permanently in 2004 we bought our first Marquis spa. There were a couple of things that went wrong, but they were all under warranty. We got it from Placeway Pools in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and they are excellent. We wouldn't buy from anyone else. Not only the people in the store are very good, but the service department as well.

    We live a good 25 miles from the store. They came out, brought it in and installed it for us. We've had no problem with that whatsoever. They're very, very good and very quick to respond. We use our spa year-round. My husband travels, but when he's here, he's in it once in the morning and once at night. The spa made a huge difference in the way we feel. We're almost 70 and doing any type of hard work. We cut out our own wood and have a wood-burning stove. So there's a lot of physical stuff. I do a lot of gardening, so my back and arms get sore. All we have to do is just get in the tub for 20 minutes and it's all better. We can sleep better at night and we can get moving quicker in the morning. Therapeutically the spa has been wonderful. I know a couple of our sons have gotten other brands, and they're okay, but they're not as good as the Marquis have been for us.

    We purchased a different brand of spa from Patio Pools before. So, when we moved we went to Patio Pools to buy a spa for our new home. We seriously looked at a couple of other spa companies. But the rep of Marquis spas was at the home show and he pointed out all the features and the quality of their hot tub and it just seemed overall like a much better product. Also, we had worked with Patio Pools before and we knew the service was good through them. We liked the way the Marquis tub is wrapped underneath and is well insulated. That makes it more energy-efficient and our previous spa didn't have that. Furthermore, we're near an open space at our new house, so there could be pack rats, and the insulation would help from having pests get up inside the tub to damage it.

    The installation of the tub went really well and the installers got it all set up and filled. Then, they went over how to use it. Since the tub was installed, I use it a lot during the summer because I use it like a pool to get cool. But when it's cold out during the winter, I don't use it as much. The tub is great and I love it. It makes me more relaxed. I would highly recommend purchasing a Marquis tub. I wouldn't want a different brand, given our experience with a previous brand. Marquis Spas has been awesome and we really like them.

    Marquis Spas has a good reputation. So, I drove to Salem and went to their showroom there, and I liked their spa. I custom-ordered it and it was fabricated quickly. I was able to pick my type of liner inside the spa as well as customize the outside shell. Then they delivered and installed the spa, and all that went fine. I signed up for their spa valet services, where they send somebody to service the spa every two weeks and keep it in proper condition. But that was where I ran into a problem. The people they sent out weren't completing the job or would say that they were here when they weren't, which I could prove because I have surveillance cameras. So then, they changed the people, hired somebody, and fixed that problem.

    I had a video surveillance, however, of one of the employees attempting to come into the sliding glass door in my backyard when he was supposed to be servicing the spa. His defense was that he was just trying to find me to tell me that he was out of door hanger slips and I was sitting at my kitchen table, but that didn't make any sense. I told him that he shouldn't be coming up to somebody's backdoor if they're sitting at the kitchen table anyway. We went back and forth with that, and I ended up discontinuing my service because I didn't like the vetted employees that they had.

    I bought the hot tub since I have lupus, an auto-immune disorder, so I have a lot of joint pains. I use my tub four to five times a week and I sit in there at the end of the day. I like that the spa has a reclining seat that I can lie in inside. But I've only had the spa for one year and already the display screen of the control panel is having some issues and may need to be replaced. It has a bunch of lines streaking through it. There should be a warranty covering that issue, but I haven't called them yet because I don't know whom to call now to have somebody come out and fix that.

    When I went to the pool store that we use for pool supplies, they had the Marquis hot tub on display and it was a good fit. The people at the store explained what the higher-end spas offer versus the ones you get in Costco and they had the floor model available. When the hot tub came, we had no idea if it would be able to fit it through the gate in the fence, but it was simple. Although installing it was simple, we had to upgrade our electricity ‘cause the house is old so we just had to get the electricity outside.

    While the overall quality of the hot tub is exceptional, the panel where you hit the jet buttons is peeling off. It makes the hot tub look older. And that happened within six months, and it shouldn't ‘cause they’re not submerged in water. Also, the buttons still work, but it’s faded now. Despite the decal thing, I've recommended Marquis. The hot tub itself is great.

    I absolutely love my Marquis spa. It's the Marquis Spirit and it's a little three-seater. I’m in it early in the morning and late at night and I love everything about it. It’s a perfect size for me and I love the color on the inside of it as well as how it runs. But my husband doesn’t get in to it. He doesn’t like hot tubs. But I’m cool with that because I’m a bathtub person and it’s kind of my own little spa.

    I got it from Job-Rite Pools in Akron and their reps were super. I love Kim, who is the owner of the place and was so knowledgeable and friendly. He told me that the spa is kind of private and almost like a bathtub. So, that's how I treat mine and I don't invite everybody to get into my bathtub. And whenever I go their store to take my water and get my chemicals checked, they’re knowledgeable and always share that knowledge with me. The guy who brought the hot tub over and installed it was also informative. It was up and running in no time.

    But when I went out of town, my spa was totally green when I came back. Nobody was in it and my husband didn’t mess with the chemicals. But it was okay because I drained it and they were informative on how to drain it out and what to do with it. Other than that, I have no problem with my spa and I tell everybody I talk to that I love my spa. I also tell them to buy the Marquis brand. In fact, my sister has a really big hot tub and I told her that she should drop down to a little one since it’s just her and her husband.

    We live out in the mountains with nobody around and it's nice having the Marquis hot tub. It compares well and our other one was really old though. The people delivered it to the house and basically set it in the pad. I did everything from there myself. There was an LED light that was out after we first got it and so I contacted Marquis and they were great. I've also reached out to them for chemicals.     We went into the Marquis showroom and Dana, the lady that helped us, gave us the information that we needed to decide and she was not pushy. We wound up holding up a little bit until before 4th of July. She said that she could get us the demo model and that there was an additional discount.     The Marquis reps were helpful. They showed me why the spa was really good and why it was different than all the rest, as well as the ease of use. I got the 7x7 tub and then the guys who installed it were awesome. They came over, put it right in place and got it all positioned for me. They were in and out fast, and they were great. The hot tub is good for all the aches and pains that I've got. It also does certain things to my feet and all that stuff that I need it to do. I definitely like them. However, the whole chemical thing is different for me. The chemicals that they use in all the normal spas were great and dandy, but I found a better thing that I don’t have to use the chlorine and the bromine, and it has been working really nicely. The Ozone is a big thing and my tub stays clean.

    The hot tub that I have is the Epic. It is really nice because I can turn on the bubbles or turn them off. There are also two levels of jet speed that I never had on my old tub. With the Marquis, I don’t have to have something blasting the whole time and then I can turn up the flow of that. It’s amazing. It’s got all the different options to not have the jets as strong for one person when the other person can still have really strong jets. The individual stations that I can turn up and down at different levels are great.

    We did a lot of research online, and then we went to a local dealer who did Marquis. We were impressed with the manager of the store. They had a Marquis filled with water for a wet run, and I was very impressed with that. We signed up for a maintenance plan that's every other month.     Currently, I have two Marquis tubs. I have one in my garage and another in my house. However, the jets fall apart. They keep coming out of holes in the hot tub and I've had to replace a dozen of them. The problems have been something with the cap or the little plastic lock. For a very expensive hot tub brand, Marquis has never replaced those parts for free and I've always had to pay for them. I have a bunch of those missing because they still keep coming apart. Though my newer tub from Marquis has been better, I've been having problems with the old one. Despite those problems, the tubs themselves have been comfortable. I'm a big runner and I've found the jets to be powerful. They hit me in the right spots at my hamstrings, calves and back.

But we haven't been pleased with the in-line distribution system as we thought we would be. We went for a floating dispenser for our chemical and chlorine, but it wasn't working properly for us. It wouldn't keep the chemical for some reason. The in-line and chemical system works, but it just wasn't dispensing in the quantities in using the cartridges all the way.     I’ve had my Marquis hot tub for a year and three months. I had a Hot Springs and another one and both were a little bit more powerful. They had two pumps. The Marquis hot tub I got is nice. I have sitting options for the size. But it doesn’t work and I had the people look at it from the warranty. They came and looked at it a month ago. It started working before that and then they said it was fine. But now, it’s not working again. So, they thought it was maybe electrical problems. I called the electrical place last Wednesday and they said they’ll try to get here when they can.

    Also, I ordered a filter for my hot tub but they ordered in the wrong filter and it took two months. The lady there was like making fun that it was funny that it was on her desk so long and I was upset but she ordered the filter for the Marquis. It was on there for like one week and then the other one came in, I came in two days later. Other than that, it has been great to have a hot tub. It’s really good for my back. I got eight vertebrae that are fused and it helps out a lot.

    When we did a little investigation, we found out that Marquis was a good brand of spa. The only problem was that when ordered the spa, the people forgot to order it with the main company.     In working with a local supplier, they were able to not only deliver the Marquis spa but also potentially do maintenance if needed. For the installation, we set a date that was going to be convenient. There was a deck being built for the spa so it was important to be able to coordinate schedules to get the spa off the truck and have a couple of guys to move it onto the deck. The team showed up on time and got the job done.

    There was also a privacy wall that was built after the spa was in place and it's really nice to have it in the place where I have it. The only thing on the negative side is the heating element. To keep it at a set temperature is a little bit noisier than I thought it would be. I can hear it going on in the middle of the night. So if I would have known that from the start, I may have located this spa at a different location. That aside, it’s a good quality product and so far, it’s been reliable. I’d recommend it.

    I find hot tubs to be almost essential because of my neck and my back. I had a Cal Spas before and the store I bought it from, Chim Chimney, switched to Marquis. I found their customer service to be good and compared to the other brands available in my area, Marquis seemed to be the better option. Because of my location, a crane had to be used for the installation. That had to be hired so the installation took a little bit longer but it went well.

    I've had the hot tub for about a year and a half now and I like it a lot. The motor did go out within six to nine months and I had to get it replaced under warranty but that went fine. The customer service in terms of the warranty also seemed to work out well. I just wish was that the hot tub was deeper, like my Cal Spas one, in terms of the edge to the floor, not necessarily the seat depth, but the overall depth. That’s personal preference though and that aside, the general built quality seems to be good. I also have a Marquis swim spa and I love it. It's just a great place and it is deeper. You can relax in it and you can also stretch, exercise and swim.

    We like the features of the Marquis hot tub we got, like how the benches, the jets and the pumps were configured. That was why it was purchased over The Edge. The only thing that was a pain for us in terms of the installation was running the power. It was a hassle but it was not a big deal. We also had to contract somebody else. But other than that, the install was great. The biggest thing though is the maintenance. It caught us off guard a little bit because we were hoping the bromine and that cartridge thing would be a little bit less what we have to do.     I was looking for a tub with a double lounge in it and Fireside had one from Marquis Spas. When Fireside's sales rep came out and told me what the Marquis spa does, I got one of its resort spas and a lot of them have twin pumps on them. I had the little things that squirt water out and they were popping out. I called Fireside about them and I was told that I have to put them in there and screw them back in. But they'd pop out again the next time and that aggravated me, especially since I'm not in a situation where I've always been in a service connected thing. It's all built on service and they just don’t seem to do that.

    Right now, the spa that I've got has pumps that are frozen so I can't turn them on and off. The reps of Fireside call, but I got to the point where I'm just fed up with them, and I don’t wanna talk to them anymore. But this is nothing against Marquis. The tub is good and I love it. I had an operation in July that they fused three of my vertebrae in my neck and I've only got two bones in my neck. The spa has the neck things in there and I use the spa every night. But I wouldn't buy another one from the people in Bend as they don’t seem to be able to service their spas. I am right at the end of my year’s thing guarantee, and I made up my mind that I'm not gonna try to go through Fireside anymore.

    I liked my old Marquis hot tub better than my new one. They made changes to it. My old one had a single filter and I cleaned it once every three weeks or once a month. I also didn't have as much trouble regulating chemicals. My new one has two filters. I gotta take them out and clean them all the time. Also, I have to put either bromine or chlorine cartridges in my new Marquis where the old one just had a very small chlorine cartridge in front of the filter. If I'll buy another tub tomorrow, it wouldn't be a Marquis simply because of the filters and the chemical issues I have. Still, I would recommend Marquis.

You can go back to the style of floating Bromine that you were using before and simply discontinue the use of the current system. The filters in your spa are 50 square foot filters.     I looked around and got the names of two or three spas from various people that indicated that they were among the better built spas. I went and looked at each one. I liked that the height of the Marquis spa was a little bit lower. As we get older and squeakier in the knees, it seems like it would be easier to get in and out of. The spa has a shape that relates to a seat area. Because of the slope that goes along with that, it's not as easy to get in and out of for the squeaky-kneed crowd like me as I would have liked. But it's a better built spa than the previous unit we had. We've had a few problems with the skirting material fitting correctly, but the function of the machine is good.

    Marquis had four people do the installation. The tub is sitting on a raised surface about four feet above the adjacent side. They set it in essentially the same place as the other tub. They ordered some additional skirting, and they came out and replaced it. We use the spa quite often, and it appears to be a good tub. One item that is a little bit annoying from time to time is that there is a tray area that gets over one portion of the interior portion of the tub, and it has a tendency to float. So if you're expecting to utilize that component for a drink holder, you might be in for a bit of a surprise. The top that was provided with the tub is good. It raises the cover in the position easily and efficiently. I have to get a strap that goes across the top because wind will come through at about 90 miles an hour at times, and it makes it a little tough to keep the top on the tub.

    It's difficult to really coordinate the way the valving system works so that you can get wider coming out of the jets that you think they're going to come out. It may just be because of my advanced state of Alzheimer’s when it comes to things like that. But that is one thing that they could clarify in some fashion that is more or less permanently put into place on the tub. It would be helpful to those that are confused by it sometimes. At this point in time, the way the knobs operate the various jets is still confusing to both me and others. Marquis is a bit on the pricey side when you compare them to some others, but you get what you pay for sometimes. I'm satisfied with the tub and I have recommended it to others.

    We had our old Marquis hot tub for 12 years, so when we got a new tub we purchased a Marquis tub again since we had our old tub all that time and it still worked. Our new tub does not differ a lot from our old one. They're both top-of-the-line Marquis tubs. Having the new hot tub installed was good and easy. It fit right in the spot where the old tub was. I had to go back, though, and ask the reps for a few things because the tubs are a little different from one year to the next, but the reps were easy to deal with and everything was good. We just had to do the general maintenance on the tub. We put the chlorine and checked it once a week. We also drained the tub and changed the two sets of filters every season three to four times a year, depending on how often we used it.

    Then we moved, so we don't still own the tub. But in the year that we had it, it was very reliable and that was the main thing that I liked about it. It was a good tub and it was very relaxing and great to calm down in it after a hard day or after working out. I would highly recommend the Marquis hot tub. If I were buying another hot tub, I would buy it again.

    I bought the Bullfrog brand new and used it for two winters. And on the third winter, it started leaking. I researched every tub, how they fit their hoses together and looked at a lot of reviews, and Marquis was the one I came up with. The installation went really well. They did a good job. I’ve not had any problems with my Marquis. But they could do better on their cabinet fit. There are places that don’t seem to fit right. There’s one or two places where the cable goes in at the bottom. It’s got a little crack where it doesn't fit under like it should. Or if you put it under there, it doesn't look right at the other end. They could have drains too in the pumps. If you did winterize, it'd make it a lot easier if they had a little drain plug in the pumps or somewhere in the pipe down there where you could totally drain it. But overall, it’s been good so far.

    My wife and daughter love it. They get in it every night for about 45 minutes. We start September, but I’m a little late this year, and they’ll stay in it till about May. And then, I’ll drain it, clean it, suck the water out of it and leave it for the summer. And I fire it back up before it gets too cold because there’s always a little water in it. In fact, I just got through setting it up for the winter. I just got it filled and letting it run to warm up.

    The Marquis tub has been much more comfortable than our old tub. I like the fact that it's nice and deep. It doesn’t take many gallons to fill up and I just recommended it to one of my clients. However, keeping the water balanced is much more difficult. My Marquis tub has all these bells and whistles about infrared or special filtering system, which is twice as much compared to what the other tub had. But the water would stay balanced a lot longer on the other tub. My husband has to check our Marquis tub every single day which is a big pain in the **. I was just out there this morning and I told him that the water is smelly again. I had to load up with chlorine and then add alkalinity. It's much harder to maintain than the other hot tub that we've had.

    The company that I worked with during the installation was great but I had a little bit of difficult time in the beginning because the company that sold it to me didn’t want to service it because I'm in New York State. I kinda had to fight with them a little bit and say, "Look, I just want you to service what's under warranty just for the one year in case anything happens," which nothing did. So they finally agreed and what happened was somebody from the company called me, who actually lived nearby, and said if I had any issues I could call him directly. He was very nice. So overall, Marquis is still the best hot tub for me but they should work on the filtering system.

I did the installation and the wiring and while the set up was fine, they just gave me the booklet and then left. From a dealer standpoint though, my experience was just fair. Since I have never owned a pool, it took me six months to understand the chemicals and how to set it up and run it properly. In fact, the start-up guide from the dealer was lacking some information.

    I'm very happy with the spa itself. I was fine picking out the color and the cover. It was exactly what I wanted and I was very pleased with the tub. Also, I never had issues dealing with Marquis directly. They were one of the few that had different options and selections. And the price is about right for what you got from a value standpoint. However, some of the accessories that they add on are a bit pricey. Marquis even sells something called MicroSilk. I've seen it first hand at the dealership and I thought it was a sales gimmick. I was going to get it initially cause the brochure said that it was the greatest thing. But in reality, I didn't see it being a beneficial thing.

    And although I would recommend Marquis and get back to them, they need to have their own initial start-up program. The dealer gave a whole start-up kit, but what was missing was the directions. Even though I filled the tub with water and then tested the pH, and then added the spa shock followed by the oxidizer, the part that was missing was once you had it set up, how would you maintain it?

    When the thing changes color and goes cloudy, you ask what happened and there was nothing after that. The other thing is the Frog system that they gave me has minerals and bromine cartridges. And after I sat at the same dealership and talked to these people for hours and hours, I found out a year later that I shouldn't be mixing bromine with chlorine. At the very least, it would be nice for Marquis to make recommendations and show how to set everything up. And if they're going to sell spa stuff, at least, tell the people how to maintain it.

    When the tub was installed, the techs came out, took my old one away, put my new one in, and lickety-split, it was done. Even though some of the stuff were going to be come out of warranty like my lights, and they kept failing and Marquis sent the wrong parts at one point, they said, “Don’t worry. We’ll take care of you. It doesn’t matter whether it goes out of warranty. You’ve started it while it was in warranty. We’ll help you out.” However, I would never buy Marquis again and never refer anybody to buy a Marquis because the lower end hot tub is overpriced and has design flaws that if you stick with them, you would have an awful tub. It has a lot of jets and you could almost adjust the jets to what you want, but there are so many design flaws on the tub that I wish I never bought it.

    The whole tub has curved corners, which is fine. But you have to put the lift arm, the piece of metal that lid slips onto and goes back, frontwards to get all the screws under the side of the tub so it could hold the weight of the lid. But the problem is, then the lid is not perpendicular to the ground and it leans over the actual hot tub. So, if you’re seated in any of the backseats, you can’t have your head straight up and down, much less lean your head back a little bit. So, the techs had to come back and slide it back a little bit. One or two of the screws would have to be screwed in the tub, and the lid is still not perpendicular to the ground.

    Even the workers said because the tub is rounded in the back, it would be much better if it had a different lift arm. And then, at the beginning, all my wood sides were popping off because it has a little piece of the metal with holes to on either side that just screw the wood siding to hold them together. But the tub uses an 8th inch or 3/16 in screw, less than a 16 inch in diameter, so it doesn’t bite in to hold the wood parts all the way around the tub together. But Patio Pleasures was awesome. They fixed it. They worked very hard during multiple trips dealing with everything.

    All the other people have to do is change the lift arms so they don’t have the lid hanging over your tub or your head. It should be back like my Advanced spa had it way back. You can’t even put your arm up on the back of the tub if you’re sitting in one of the corners and have it hang down a bit over the lift down to the side because the lid is there, because you can’t take it back anymore or you won’t have enough screws to hold the whole lift arm and to hold the lid off.

Please contact your dealer who can discuss options on a different lift that will work on the hot tub you have chosen. It also sounds like the cover lift may be affecting the skirt if it has come loose. Most manufactures do not use the metal strips that we install in our spas for added support. We use them so that in 20 years the skirt is still in as good of shape as when you purchased the hot tub.     My husband and I are both engineers and we researched all the different spas and looked at reviews. We got Marquis because of the quality for one thing and also because they were made in Oregon. We really like the hot tub. However, my husband has found that he can't use it as much because he has eczema and other skin issues. Even though the water chemistry is balanced, it still irritates his skin. But for both of us, even though he has those issues, the tub is still a very relaxing way to end the day. We usually go in there and either look at the stars or read books.

    When people say they're gonna buy one, I just tell them that they really need to look at the Marquis because they're a great quality. However, Marquis recommends to add all this extra stuff, like for water chemistry and then about a year into owning the spa we finally realized that we shouldn’t be adding either of those and then the water chemistry was perfect.     We were shopping around everybody that carried different hot tubs and it seemed that the quality of the Marquis hot tubs was a little bit better than the rest of them. We love the tub that we got but the only problem that we have was that the control panel on top has been fogged up ever since the beginning and that's not supposed to do it. We talked to a rep personally and they made a different unit specifically for us and it's starting to do the same thing again. But they are taking care of it. With the newer models, the control panel is no longer available and there's no way to retrofit the new into the old one because of the shape. But other than that, everybody was good to work with and the quality of the tub is really nice.

    I bought a house that had a hot tub that was probably put in in 1979. It was huge with the gas heater and I have no idea what the brand on that thing was. I knew they didn’t manufacture the heater anymore because my spa people had to jerry-rig a bunch of parts and pieces. It has stopped working, but I now have my Marquis. I bought it from Fireside where I worked and they were very good because there were some challenges including the insurance company. Also, they had to take the old hot tub out so we could tear down the deck. And then they had to come back again to put the hot tub on the deck once the deck was built. They were wonderful and very customer-focused.

    I had no idea when my old one went out because I haven’t had any experience with hot tubs before. Marquis called my tub plug and play. The heater is built-in. They just walk up and set it on my deck, whereas my other one was built-in down below because it was done a long time ago. I said, “Wow. You’re kidding me.” And they said, “No. You don’t even have to hardwire.” But they suggested that I did so I had my electrician do it. I literally could just plug it in like a vacuum. I’m very pleased with the way the tub functions and the way it looks. I like the size. I have that little triangular one and I love it because I can stretch out. Also, it has lots of jets while my other one didn’t. I go in it every morning and it’s a delight.

    We've really enjoyed using our Marquis hot tub. My husband is unable to walk and back when he could walk, he used to sit in the tub all the time. We know he missed that, so we had gotten the three-person Marquis tub. He has rheumatoid arthritis and soaking in a warm tub is heaven to him. For somebody like him, it's very challenging to get him into the hot tub because of the seating space. It could be made more convenient for people with walking problems who aren't stable. It would be nice if there would be a place where he could sit and then swivel to turn around and stand up in the tub and then lower. We have the hand thing, but it would be nice if there was something to make it easier for him to sit down in it.

    We were looking for something that was easy to set up. We conveniently had the plug right there, as well as the hose to fill it about three feet away. We picked a brand that would have convenience. We're not party people. It was just going to be my husband or me, two people. So the first criteria was that it was gonna be a small tub. It also had to fit on my deck and take as minimal space as possible. The triangular shape of the hot tub was really good. There are two-people ones that are rectangular, however, he wants to spread his legs out and that meant that only he would be able to get in it then. The rectangular ones are smaller, but then if you spread out your feet, you'd be invading the space of the person sitting right beside you.

    I thought about walk-in tubs, but they don't work so well. They cost twice as much as this tub did because you have to install it in your bathroom and your bathroom has to be remodeled for it. Plus, if you're in a walk-in tub and something comes up, you can't get out of it. It can take about 20 minutes for it to empty, letting you open the door to get out of it. It's not easy, but I can get him out of the hot tub. Our hot tub had different level seats, which I like. It had the deep seat, the medium seat, and the higher seat. I use that to help him get out. My husband likes to sit in the deepest seat, but I can't get him up. He can't do that by himself so I just transfer him from the deep seat to the next deepest one to the highest one to stand him up. That's where other handle for him to grab a hold to stand up would be nice. I would definitely recommend Marquis.

    I like that the Marquis spa is made in Oregon and we have a good local distributorship. In the Fireside store in Bend, Fireside, the Marquis sales team was very good. The rep was quite helpful and both of the people that we talked to really knew their products and were trying to answer our questions more than they were trying to sell us something. It really was nice. Also, the installers were very good, friendly and really knowledgeable. They did a really careful job in setting up the spa. It was good experience.

    We've had a tub for many years. It's really therapeutic for me as I have a bad back. We have had the Marquis tub for a year now and we love it. I use it a lot after working outside or skiing, to sit down and relax. However, there are a couple of things about the design of the lighting and the plumbing of the Marquis spa that are an annoyance. And as far as the spa itself, I like the Hot Spring spa better. The plumbing in the Marquis spa is designed with a different logic and I don't like how the therapy jets are used for circulation. It's noisy when they come on to circulate the water. The Hot Spring spa, on the other hand, has a very quiet circulation pump that we never hear.

    Furthermore, the lighting on the control panel of the Marquis spa is far too bright. We need the lighting because it's dark out but we don't need really bright lighting. But after we press any button on it, the perimeter light on the control panel comes on and stays on for at least one minute, which is the shortest amount of time. Also, it really is an interference with just trying to sit and enjoy and look at the sky.

    I did a bunch of research and looked for a hot tub that was big but small enough to go on my side porch, and that was standard outlet capable. When I pulled all that down, Marquis’ product, the Napa, did the job. The installation was great. I live in a town setting, so it's a really small postage-size property and not easy to get in, but they did a really good job of getting into the tight situation. I've worked with the dealer and have talked about how to approach it. I had to take a panel of my fence off for them to be able to get there. It was pretty tight, but they made it work and did a great job. The dealer was really nice and really accommodating, and answered questions and made the process really easy.     We’re getting to an age where a hot tub is an important part of every day and we can’t live without one. Also, my husband had multiple back surgeries and a neck surgery and both of us have neck issues. The hot tub is so good for our back and neck. We’ve always had a Marquis tub for at least 20 years.     I went in the Marquis spa the other day as the day was warm and the water was cooler, and it was good. However, I don’t understand why one has to put so many chemicals on there. I used to have a Sundance four-seater and I never had trouble with it. The water in it was as fresh and clear as about always in the Marquis spa, and my husband didn’t change it all the time either. We never had it cloudy and he never ran a stuff, put in between 10 minutes or 15 minutes before one goes in. I wish I could enjoy the Marquis more. The heat is draining all my moisture up and I can’t use it. It burns and makes me really itchy. On the other hand, the tub doesn’t bother my daughter. She likes it and enjoys it a lot.     My Marquis hot tub was installed very nicely but there were a couple of caps missing off of it, so I had to have them come back and put the caps on for the screw heads. Also, this hot tub was not as good as the one I've had before. I've had the Marquis spa for over a year now and I've had a lot of issues with the control panel and the stickers on there. I had the other hot tub for eight years and didn’t have any problems with those things. I contacted Marquis and they just gave me stickers instead of giving me the whole plastic plates and telling me what alcohol to use to take off the stickers. I'd tell people who are checking out this company to look around too.

    Marquis is better built than the other models that I’ve looked at and I had minimal issues with the two Marquis tubs I had. I was happy with the ones I had. I also had a good dealer that was very close to my home that I dealt with. I traded my older tub for the new one that I have now. The installation was painless and simple. The pad was there as well as all the electrical hook-ups, so it wasn’t difficult for the dealer who installed it for me. However, I still have trouble getting my tub that comes with Wi-Fi to connect to my phone and get it working. Also, a couple of months ago, I noticed that the display has gone funky. I can still read it, but the liquid crystal is not behaving properly and the whole display is not clear. There is a vertical line through about 25% of the screen. Despite all the issues, I’m still happy with the tub.

    Marquis was on sale at a fair. I worked through Idler's Home and they were great. The installation process was fine, although it took them three months to get it after we ordered it. The spa is good and I like it. We use it once a week and it has been nice to have one. However, the electricity went up a lot by around $80 a month and that was surprising. The reps said it was only supposed to be $30. Nevertheless, I've had good experience with Marquis.

    I research on online on forums and a lot of the people there say that if one wanna buy some high quality tub with the right parts, they have to buy Marquis. Also, sometimes there are professionals in the forums and 70% say that Marquis is one of the quality brands. A lot of good companies say they are good quality, but they are still using a lot of the cheapest parts, including the controller. So, we got the tub locally and bought it directly from the retail store in Beaverton. We did the installation of the tub ourselves and it was easy.

    I like the hot tub itself, but I’m on well water and the cartridges of the in-line are not perfect. They got some holes and sometimes the hole is not opening. It’s a FROG System problem, not Marquis. I got a lot of issues with the cartridges and I switched to the flat ones, the plug-in on top of it, and they are much better. Other than that, the Marquis spa is good quality. It's top of the line and while not every people can afford because it's spendy, I still recommend it.

    I was in a car accident and had a bit of neck pain and a bad back. The Marquis tub has been very beneficial and it helps me to unwind and recover from my day. The tub was highly recommended by the store that I bought it from. I had a friend that was working there so that helped me out. It was a brand new spa that came in. It was the right price, size and quality. It was also insulated. An old friend of mine did the installation and delivery. He was very professional and very knowledgeable.     I was talked into switching to Marquis Spas. My old tub was square and it was roomier. It also had the rotating lights in different colors and the top swung off instead of lifting it. However, I like that my new tub is round as it is more personal because it is not as big. I got it just for me since I live alone. The lights of the tub are smaller and it goes all the way around. It changes colors too which is cool. Marquis had a very nice purchasing team and the guys who installed my tub knew what they were doing. The installation was done very well.

    I have a spa guy who comes out every two weeks and double-checks my hot tub. During summertime, I never use the hot tub much because it is always warm but in October when it starts cooling down at night, I use it almost every night. It feels great to my back. I like soaking in it while looking at the stars and trees. I told three people in the family about my hot tub. My brother-in-law is getting one before wintertime and he asked me to take him to where I bought mine.

    We’ve had other hot tubs prior to Marquis and the first one was a 7-foot octagon. This triangular Rendezvous from Marquis is just for the two of us. We looked for others brands but Marquis was one of the few companies that had a triangular type that we wanted to fit in the corner. The installation was pretty easy. The dealer was here and put it in. We had to do our own wiring and that was a little bit interesting.

    Water got inside the panel that’s up on top and the pump started making noise so that had to be replaced. The lid where the water filter goes in doesn’t stay down when two people get in it. They need to figure out a way to clamp that lid down because right now we got a lock sitting on it to hold it down. It seems pretty ridiculous and I’ve tried to get a hold of them but they’re not interested in talking to customers. If you want to talk to them, you talk to dealers. On the other hand, we’ve had conversations on the telephone with the dealer and it’s been good in that respect.

    We did some research on the different types of hot tubs before we bought the tub of Marquis Spas. We went to a home show and there were several different varieties of hot tubs there. We got all the different information and compared them, then we decided to get the Marquis tub. We liked that it was made in Oregon. Everything went smoothly as far as purchasing the spa and getting it set up. The spa is nice to use in the winter time and it’s good for social entertaining. We've had lots of friends that wanted to come over and use it. It would be nice, though, if they could have an ordering plan and we could have a setup for buying the next year’s worth of chemicals that we need. Other than that, our experience with Marquis has been good. We're happy with our spa and we've told people that we liked it.

    I really wanted to buy my spa and spend my money locally. And the people there at Jim's spa place are very receptive to questions. They’ve answered my questions and responded quickly.     I work on hot tubs and I have seen really old Marquis tubs working perfectly well and always looking good. All the internal parts can be replaced and I like the engineering of it. I installed my own Marquis tub and have owned it for about six months now. It’s super simple and one of the easiest tubs to work on I like it a lot and I use it daily. I always recommended them even before I owned one. I worked on them and I saw how they work and how simple and reliable they are. However, I wish I wouldn’t use the foam to fill everything in there and just the insulation on the tub and the outside panels rather than filling it with foam. Nevertheless, they have good engineering and there are a lot of good concepts in them.

    I had nothing but trouble with our Marquis hot tub. First, the heater went out and then, the control panel went out totally. I went with Marquis because there was this local dealer here in Aberdeen which is close to where we live in case we have an issue with the hot tub. But then the guy went out of business. So, I’m having a hard time finding someone that will do contract work for Marquis because no one is close by. Last time, I had to pay $300 for the people to come out, which evidently is not covered by their service agreement.

    Also, I had to pay for the power cord. They were not very helpful with the charge. Additionally, I’m having a hard time with the filter. There's just no information about what kind of filter I need. I went to two hot tub places and they don’t have that kind of filter. My husband has Parkinson and has to go to the doctor. With Parkinson’s, he can do exercise in the hot tub. But with this thing being down all the time, it’s horrible. I’m not really happy with the Marquis tub. We had hot tubs before and I never had a problem. I should have gone with someone else.

    My wife and I stopped at the Fox and saw Marquis Spas. Robin the rep was easy to deal with at the store except for one time when we went back in there and he had a meltdown. Still, the price wasn’t bad and we didn’t wanna have a huge hot tub. The one we got seemed like a decent model. Furthermore, I was also pulled to have the 5-year warranty. However, I’m not sure I’d buy that small of a hot tub in the future if I ever bought another one. Also, the knobs look like it has been sitting somewhere for an extended period of time. Plus, the main panel on it was messed up when we had gotten it and it was killing off the sprinkler system on it. It was almost like I had gotten a new hot tub that may have been two years old or it might have been sitting around for a lot longer than I would have anticipated and the wear of that wasn’t very good.

    Whatever year we bought the hot tub, we were told it was that year’s model. I think that was clearly incorrect. When I buy something new and I'm spending 6,000 dollars, I shouldn’t be getting stuff that’s been sitting around for two years. It’s a pain to buy something new and then all of a sudden I gotta replace stuff because it was not so new. There’s not much I can do about it, but I wasn’t very happy about that. It seems like a nice hot tub tough. Yesterday, I cleaned the top off and put the cleaning solution on it so it looks brand new now. All in all, it wasn’t a bad experience. Marquis is awesome and I think they have quality stuff.

    I’ve had many hot tubs in my life and I don’t like the Marquis tub at all as it runs constantly even if we're not even in there. I used to be from Montana and I’ve never seen Marquis before. I used the tub everyday but I haven’t been in it for a while. I’m not enjoying it as much as I used to. Where the tub spits out the water like a waterfall is already broken.     Our Marquis spa is better than the one we had from Dimension One. Homecrafters sold the Marquis and they did a very good job. They were easy to deal with and when we had a couple of little issues, they came right up and dealt with it. The installation was done in our backyard and I did a lot of work to make one access point easy for the installers. Unfortunately, the roof overhang was in the wrong spot so they had to come around a different way but they did a very nice job. Everything was set up for them. We had power and I had the concrete pad because we had a former spa.

    When we first got the spa, we couldn’t get the circuit breaker to stay on and it kept tripping the breaker. I swapped it out one time and it had the same problem so the people that sold us the spa thought that there was something wrong with it. They sent a technician who looked it over and couldn’t find anything wrong with the spa. They changed the heating element and I told them that the basic problem might still be with the circuit breaker. It turned out that that was where the problem was. The circuit breaker had to be traded in to one of the newer ones that had a bit longer delay before it tripped. Also, I had a problem with one of the valves. I could not get air to come out of a couple of the jets and it turned out that I simply didn’t understand how the spa was planned. One of the jets had not been put in properly and it wasn’t allowing water to go through. A guy came up rapidly within two days and checked it out.

    I use the spa often and my wife occasionally does. Marquis spa is the best one for us and we made a good decision despite the fact that it is using a little more electricity than I thought it should. It is not well insulated. I compared the electrical bills for the years that we had the Dimension One and the number of kilowatt hours we started using the new one and the power consumption went up. I’m not absolutely convinced that having just the single pump that does little circulation from time to time is better than having a fairly low wattage pump that runs all the time. Also, if I was to redesign it, the illuminated panel should be to the outside rather than the inside so that when someone is in the spa at night, it doesn’t ruin their night vision. Nevertheless, I would tell a friend to check out Marquis Spas.

    My previous tub was a $100 used one from a neighbor. I have a Marquis now and it's much better. When I got it, I had a great experience with the sales reps and installer. It's a nice hot tub and I really like it. But I had a problem at the beginning. Apparently, a hose fell off, so I assumed that it was a manufacturing flaw. It was a bit inconvenient and disappointing because I spent a bunch of money on a brand new hot tub and it has a leak. But they fixed it without any problem and at no charge, so I was happy.

    If I had to do everything all over again, I would try and find something that had more than one filter. My dad has a hot tub and he was sort of shocked that there was only one filter in my Marquis. He said he has four. So, it's somewhat high-maintenance because you're constantly cleaning one filter. Obviously, if you had four filters, you'd be cleaning them all but 1/4 the time. At the end of everything, the company I bought it from did the right thing.

    We found Marquis at the home show where we bought it from and their sales reps were great. They were really kind and it wasn't a high-pressure deal. The installation also went perfectly. The installers came out once and had the job done. We had to stop by and pick up something and that was the end of it. For the most part, they came completely prepared. The size of spa that we got was great for us because we're just a couple. But we don't care for the cover. If you put too much water in the tub, the cover floats, so we're constantly fighting that. If we had to do things over, we would change that.

    Compared to the tub that I had before, the Marquis spa is much better and has lots more features. I use it more often, too. I've had it for a year and a half now and it's great.     The Marquis spa is a good hot tub. My wife and I picked it not entirely due to the price but it looks like what we wanted after riding down to different places. The people we bought it from delivered and set it in place then we had somebody else come to install it. We've had our tub for around 12 months now and I have to replace a model in it because one of the little plastic clips broke off and it comes out every once in a while. I also wouldn't know it till I'm hitting my foot in the bottom of the hot tub.

    Sometimes when I buy filters or some of the stuff that they have me put in the tub, there's quite a difference in price range from ordering it off of Amazon versus driving 45 miles and paying 30% more. So, if I go to the place where I bought the tub, it gets pricey compared to other places. Other than that, we use the tub a lot. We love going out there, getting in it, and we're relaxed. We got hummingbird feeders around it and there's a big field out where we can watch the hummingbirds and turkeys as we sit back. We don't see any neighbors from our house.

    Marquis was a good choice. It was the right price and the right size that the salesman talked about. We bought a house that already had a hot tub, but it was broken. Still, since the tub was already wired, the installers were in and out super fast. The lead salesman was a rock star and he came out after the pool had shown up. He put the bar on there for the top so it'll plop all over. He told us to let him know if we have any problems. He also said that when you buy a hot tub from him, you're not just getting a hot tub, but you're also getting him as part of the service. The Marquis hot tub is great, but not so much during the warmer months when we just use it as a pool. During, during the winter, it's really awesome. I've had this hot tub for more than a year and it works like a champ. I'd definitely recommend Marquis Spas.

    The Marquis rep was real nice and we got an 8-seater tub. The installers told us where the tub would look best at and how pretty the lights would look inside of it. They also picked up all the paperwork and the boxes when they were done. We've had the tub since the winter of last year and, since then, my husband always want me to get in the hot tub with him. Also, everybody comes over to our house to get into it, so I tell them to go to the place. I also tell them how much it cost us which wasn’t that bad. Although we need to do something about the tub because right now, it shows around 107 degrees when we open the lid. But when we try to get into it, we gotta put more cold water in it or put a bucket of ice in it.

    I go to Northwest Arkansas Pool for pool chemicals and they sell Marquis hot tubs. I got one in August and it hasn't even been a year but the headrest that are on the backs of the seats are all discolored. They get hard and they dry out. The headrests were reordered to replace all of them and at the time, one was broken. Now, two are broken and the other one is faded and nasty so I don’t like the quality. But I’m fine with the rest of it and I love my hot tub.

    I like my Marquis spa, but I was not satisfied with Patio Pools' service. I laid down half the money for the spa like Patio Pool asked me to. They said that I pay for the rest once the spa was delivered and made. I did my part and laid the concrete down. They came out and inspected it and I get all the watering. Then they called me when the spa was done. I went down, paid for it all and asked if they were gonna come and inspect everything that was done. They said yeah, but it took them three weeks to finally come to do it after they told me they’d be down right away. I had to keep on calling them about it.

    When they came down and inspected it, everything was fine. Then I had to wait another long time for the spa to get delivered to my home. The installers were fine and everything was great with the installation. They went through everything with my husband. We use it three or four times a week and we want to use it more in the winter time. Marquis Spas is a good company with a good product.

    We used to have a Beachcomber. But it was old and worn out and it started to crack underneath. We really needed a replacement and we got one from Marquis Spas. We had some issues during the installation and the screws on the panel to get into the inside of the spa were broken or misthreaded. So, the company that sold us the spa came by a couple of weeks after the installation to do some follow-up. It took them a while to come out but they did and the salesman ultimately took care of the problems. Also, the way that the lift of the plastic fit the panel that’s removed to get to underneath part wasn’t quite manufactured correctly. So, he had to reinstall a screw to move the plastic so that the panel seated correctly because there was a gap between the removable panel and the main part of the panel that comes around the plastic.

    Aside from that, we got the hot tub with the radio system and speakers in it and two issues have come up on it. One is that there has been some condensation on the speakers. It appears that the screws that had been installed may not be stainless steel so, they show a little bit of rust on them. One of the two speaker screws especially appears like somebody put standard screws in to hold the speaker in place and those have shown some rust within a few weeks of having the spa. They’re still operational though.

    The second issue is that the motor on the spa causes interference with the AM/FM radio system and I don’t know if it’s a manufacturer issue or just the radio issue with the antenna wire being moved underneath. The person that came to service the spa took and moved the wire to the antenna for the AM/FM radio system to several places but it still causes interference. From the very beginning, when you’re running all the pumps, the radio antenna performs fine. But when you’re running some of the pumps or one of the pumps at lower speed, it has interference with the radio. It’s gotten stranger, too, but it’s not due to wear and tear. They said it was a common problem and the solution is typically to move the antenna wire. But, they tried that and it slightly corrected it, but it’s never been completely corrected. Other than that, we have the Marquis hot tub for 12 months now, we use it regularly, and we enjoy it.

    My husband did some pricing of other hot tub carriers and Marquis Spas' price was right and they were gonna take care of everything. We bought two tubs from them and then they called to tell us that the tub was ready and they set up a time to come. We bought a smaller one but it was out of scale to the house as the house is huge. It’s a 5 sitter and one of the sits is a lounger. The installers came and they set the tub up smoothly. We bought two houses and wanted to move the small tub over to the other house and have a larger one put into the larger house. They charged us a fee which was fair and they went ahead and took care of it all. We liked the larger hot tub so much better because the jets were so much stronger.

    My experience with Marquis Spas has been excellent. I go into the shop all the time to buy products.     The other brand I really wanted was twice as much money to buy because they put the equipment at the top of the spa instead of the bottom. I needed to be within a certain price range and I was able to accomplish that with the Marquis brand. I built a cement vault and put it into the ground with access to service the equipment so that the top of the spa is at ground level. However, the installers left the valve open, so all the water I was putting in was emptying out the bottom.

    The Marquis has various height seats and it works really well. It’s right outside of my bedroom door and I’m very happy I did it. I’ve had it for a year and a third and I had to replace one of the motors, but that was still under warranty. However, the aftermarket foam cover I bought was broken within half a year. It’s $200 and it’s an ugly and unuseful feature. Other than that, I love my Marquis spa, but they need to educate the companies they sell them to so that they install them properly.

    We moved and I sold the house with the Jacuzzi spa so we needed a new one. We bought a tub from Marquis Spas since I know the salesperson there. The installers thought we would get our tub a week sooner, but they were a week behind. Once we got past that issue, though, they told me they were gonna be there at a certain time and they showed up, and the installation was good. The Marquis team has been exceptional. We did something wrong and we had a little problem with balancing the water, but they were able to send somebody and get us organized. Also, a headrest broke one time and they replaced it.

    We've had our Marquis tub for a year and everything has been fine. The quality of the tub is good and it works well, although it was a little pricey. We usually use it at night. The tub is like a gathering spot and its biggest impact for us is that we have a good family time. My kids come and hang out with my wife and me, and we all chat. It's a good spa and we enjoy it.

    Before we used Marquis, we used another hot tub brand but that company no longer exists. The two brands are close and we’ve enjoyed both of them. Mike, our Marquis salesman, was good. He was instrumental in convincing us that the one with the lounge would work for us. We were steering away from that because so many people said they just float out of them. Mike told us that the new ones are designed differently so that you won’t float out of them, and he was right. The particular one we bought suits our needs perfectly.

    My new Marquis Spa is larger and has more jets than the tub I owned before. However, my installation experience as well as my experience with the dealer, Patio Pools, were horrible. My tub before ran on 120 but then I needed 220 for my new one. Marquis' dealer sent an electrician out who did a horrible job. We asked him to run lines from the box over to the edge of the patio and then dig a trench to where we were doing the tub. It was a debacle and I told Marquis afterwards that they should never recommend that guy again.

    After, when they came to install the tub, they filled it up and turned the jets on and the water was horribly brown. I think they had the tub sitting outside somewhere. The guy who was installing it said it was factory dust and I told him not to insult me as I am not stupid. Factory dust is not brown dirt. I let Patio Pools know about that as well and they came and gave me an extra filter as the one that was installed was completely full of dirt.

    Another time, I had a problem when the tub was still under warranty and it kept heating to 105 and I couldn't figure it out. I kept putting the temperature of the tub down but then it would heat up again, so I was turning it off every night because I suddenly got an electric bill that was $150 more than what it was supposed to be. The dealer sent someone who reached out to Marquis and asked what was going on. He found that there was some weird switch that had flipped in the panel and eventually they got it fixed. Additionally, there are a lot of features that came with my tub. Not everybody wants to party. There weren't any models that didn't have a fountain or crazy LED lights. I do yard work and then I need to sit in my hot tub and I don't want all of that. But aside from that, I enjoy the different types of jets that my tub has.

    This Marquis is my first hot tub and I’ve had it for about two years now. The delivery people had to go through a fence around the house when we had it installed and they were very professional. They replaced its pump already though because it was starting to make a noise. They also replaced the keypad about two months after I got it because it filmed over and I couldn’t read it. Now, it’s starting to do that again. There’s moisture getting into it and it’s not getting out. But they seem pretty compliant when it comes to getting things replaced and a repair usually gets done within a week but it depends if the part is available or not. I love my Marquis tub. I have not turned this thing off since I bought it and I use it almost every day.

    The gentleman I worked with from Marquis Spas was really good. He was easy to get along with and was responsive whenever we called him to talk about the spa. The installation process was easy and we were happy with it. I put out patio tiles and the installers set the spa on top of it. It went very well but, I didn’t like that I had to take the panels off the spa in order to drain it. The panels could be a little bit fussy in putting it back in by getting screws into the former screw holes. I ended up cutting a hole in the side panel and I took the drain out through the side and drained it from underneath a set of steps that I built myself. Marquis should set up a drain hole directly through the outside rather than having to remove those front panels every time people wanted to drain it.

    We had to drain it in order to be able to use it in the summer in Las Vegas. I would go to work on Friday and I would drain it in the morning so I could refill it Friday afternoon so that we could use it. Otherwise, with the heat, it heated the water up through the weekend and the water got too hot to use. I also tried to think of how I could put in some sort of a cooling system which I guess all of the spas need in Las Vegas where the temperature gets up to 115 degrees. I know it’s insulated to keep from freezing in the winter. However, Marquis has to come up with some sort of a remote cooling system where water would be diverted to a remote chiller and then re-circulated back into the spa for the summer months.

    I’m living in Arizona right now and we moved shortly after the purchase of the spa. The Marquis spa was good and we really liked it, but we noticed that the LED lights stopped changing colors. Still, we enjoyed the spa for the short time we had used it. Also, the cover that we had with the storage thing was very helpful and operating it was easy as well.

    We had a used Coleman before and even with the cover on it could get a little bit hotter than what we set during the summer. But with our Marquis, it goes way up. We have to keep the top propped open during the summer but it has no problem during winter. I got a daughter with special needs and she has this affinity for anything with water. The Marquis spa has been a therapeutic thing for her, and the jets help a little bit with some of her sensitivity issues with textures. Though I wished they had an automatic dispenser that you can just fill up with the bromine. Other than that, I'm pretty well pleased with what I've got. It's a spa that has great value.

    Marquis was carried by our local distributor, Idler’s. So, we decided to buy a spa from them and the delivery went great. Their guys showed up on time, had all the right equipment, and had everything all ready to go with the wiring and stuff. They were also very efficient during the installation and the start-up kit that we received was really nice.

    So far, I noticed a little bit of a rough surface on the substrate and it’s something that has developed over time. So, I texted the person I bought it from and sent him pictures of it. When I changed the water, I took pictures of it at close proximity and it’s almost like they’re bumps on the surface. He's going to look at it and get back to me, but I haven’t heard back yet. I’m gonna talk with my local distributor, too, because the panel that covers up the pump system doesn’t fit that great. The flange that holds the panel piece in seems like it comes out all the time.     I went to the Hot Tub Company and picked a hot tub out. The one I chose was a Marquis and I love it. I would buy another. I have a severe case of rheumatoid arthritis and I’ve changed medications but when I’m hurt and I get in there, that tub helps me feel so much better. It feels so good. And when I get out, I can’t say my pain’s all the way gone, but I am more relaxed. I’m nurse here and when I talk to people, I tell them that if they could get one, they need to get one because it really helps. But I don't like the head pad on it. They should make those obsolete and make a built-in part of the fiberglass part and leave that out. Those things turn colors and when I took a peek of mine, it looks nasty.

    It was easy when their guys brought the hot tub out and put it in. The only thing I had to install was the electric on the house to the shutoff box itself. But when they first brought the tub in, the panel didn’t work. So, they had me another one out there a day or two later. Then the lights quit working and this guy came out, worked on it the very next day, and fixed it. But when I moved and sold my house, I couldn’t afford to pay them to move it for me because they charge 400 bucks to move it, so I had to do it myself. Other than that, they were awesome over there at the Hot Tub Company. I could call them up, ask them stuff, and they'd have all the answers for me. And if they didn’t, they would get them. They were very pleasant people to deal with over there and I really like them. They even know me by name when I go in there and it’s not like I’m just another number.

He got right on it and took care of it. A couple of days later, someone came out and fixed it. But the one thing I wasn’t crazy about was it was suggested I buy kind of a package to get all the chemicals and products. So I ended up with a boat load of stuff for like a year or more. And then when I went back in and asked, they said some of the stuff I wouldn’t use and I would just reuse this and this. It’s no big deal but I wouldn’t have purchased that stuff if I did it again.

    We were at a show and Marquis Spas had good deals. We were looking for a 110 unit and we were convinced by the sales guy that this was what we wanted. He was wrong. When it was installed, the crew got it into the spot in the backyard and everything was fine. However, they oversold the performance of the 110 unit. The strength of the jets was inadequate. And while the customer service reps who answered the phone have been good, the store itself has never been helpful. They never answered the phone.

    They should be very careful when they market a 110-volt unit. I wound up having to spend an extra $1,200 to have an electrician come in and wire it for 220 and then get a new pump. Also, there's a concern about the design on the shell on the actual skirt. The opening on my spa is extremely bad because it takes two guys to put the skirt back in, as far as being able to close that door. And I have to open that thing up whenever I drain the spa. Even the repair guys that have been out to the house agree that it was a very bad design. Based on those two things, I wouldn’t buy another Marquis.

    The supplier I was buying chemicals for my pool through carried the Marquis brand. I've had the Marquis hot tub since October and it's a good product. Everything went smoothly with the installation. Plus, they showed me how to operate everything. And then from there, it was just a learning experience trying to balance the chemicals. Right now, we don't use it very much since it's summer, but there are a few cool nights and we would get in there. And when beads of sweat start coming down our faces, it's time to get out. In the winter time, I was in it two to three times a week, for half hour or 45 minutes. My wife and I sit in the hot tub and talk about life in general.     The delivery was done on a Saturday and Marquis Spas had one guy who was filling in. I was being a little picky and he was a little bit pushy and trying to hurry me a touch. He was also hurried on the instructions. For them, it’s simple. They know it like the back of their hand but it’s a lot to learn for the first time. I know it was all important and I have a memory like an ox but if I get hurried, I don’t even have time for one instruction to the next. If you pop up four things in five seconds, that’s going too fast. Now, I’ve got to read instructions. I have to pump it out here in two weeks and I hope I remember what he said.

    They could have been a little more courteous on the delivery and a little more patient on time, let the customer get it right, make sure he understands all the instructions real good and he's comfortable with all he needs to know to run the product. It’s a fairly big responsibility and giving the right amount of time the customer needs would have been really appreciated.

    The only other thing I don’t really like is buying the chlorine system. I wish I could buy those more locally. I have to go up to Marquis and and I don’t have time to run up the spot unless I got to go to Fred Meyer and buy some granular chlorine to get me by until I can get to Marquis. But they probably like that specialized chlorination system. Still, I’d recommend Marquis. Prior to using them, I had another brand and it worked out good for me. But the Marquis one I got is a lot newer and I like bells and whistles. I really like the light features too. The only thing that bugs me is the valving. It’s really cheap plastics in there holding the valving and one broke. They also get very little heat. It’s not real quality valving. But the configuration of the comfort and the way all the jets hit you make a cool design.

    The Marquis tub was big and it had more jets, and the shape was quite compact, so I chose them. I've had it for half a year now and my favorite feature is the volcano. The installation experience was easy. We scheduled the installation because we had to pour a cement pad and it took quite a time to find somebody to do that. And then, the installers wheeled in the tub and screwed it out, and they cleaned up after themselves very well. It's nice to have the tub. When I wanna take a dip, I just go and have it.     My Marquis hot tub is great and I love it. I used Marquis before and then came back and got another one. I've been using Marquis for at least 10 years. I like that their products are made in Oregon and I appreciate that the company builds them really well. The reps as well as the installation were great. The installers came, set up the tub and poured the cement pad the first time. Then they checked out my deck the second time and left.

    The hot tub is medicinal and relaxing. I was up in the forest with my first tub and now I overlook the mountains with my second one. But these last four months, the bath pillow cushions have been dissolving. Also, the Marquis pillows that I sort of pop in there are corroding and I use very little chemicals. I can turn on the running lights and they do 20 different colors but when I sit out at midnight and wanna see the stars, there's no way to turn off the control panel light. So I have this little beacon light and the bats come out, so we have to put a covering over where it says on and off jets because it's all lit up. The light is a real distraction at night time. But overall, I tell people about Marquis. Just buy a roll of duct tape, tape over the lights and you're good to go.

    Prior to using Marquis Spas, I used another hot tub brand, but Marquis is a couple of steps above them as far as niceness, overall look, and impression. Having our hot tub installed was an excellent experience. We had a great local dealer and they were very helpful in arranging for the hot tub to be brought in and the old one to be taken out. They helped me with the installation and with all my questions, and the installation went smoothly. Also, we had good interactions with the reps. But we have a couple of issues with the tub and I want to get some things done before the one year mark. Our local store here changed brands, though, so they don't have Marquis anymore, but I'd definitely recommend Marquis.

    I stopped by a couple of different showrooms in Bend and one place was Jacuzzi. When I asked for a quote, the salesman scribbled the number down on a Post-It and handed it to me. I asked about another product and he gave me the catalogue to look at. I was far more impressed with the salesman and the way everything was handled at Fireside. We went back and the guy who helped us there was always available to answer questions. He was very thorough and we bought the Marquis. We knew exactly what we were getting, what the options were, and it was a really good experience.

    The installer came and installed the hot tub. When he was trying to walk me through getting the chemical set up, I could tell that he did it a lot and that he just did it and didn’t understand why I might need to go slow and write things down. I tried to ask questions and he asked why I was taking notes. He looked at me annoyed, but he answered my questions and we got that down. And then, there was a problem with the front paneling. The panel that opens to access the motor didn’t close all the way. Also, when the people installed the lid holders off the side, the shell got cracked. We called Fireside and I’m assuming they then called Marquis and took care of both issues for us. There were a couple of glitches getting the tub set up but the resolution was seamless. I spent that kind of money on a product and I wanted to make sure that I was taken care of if there were any problems, but there weren't any.

    The people who sell Marquis products are doing right by them. The hot tub is super comfortable and we love it. However, we have the cartridge thing installed where we have the two cartridges and we change out the yellow cartridge every four weeks and then the blue cartridge every six weeks and the bromine didn’t keep up, so, I went in and talked to Fireside. They said they had had several complaints about that and the next time I drained the tub, the rep told me to come in and he would get me started on a different standard method. We sold the house before that happened, but when we’re ready to buy a hot tub for the new house, we’re definitely gonna go back there and work with them again.

    We looked at several hot tub brands and we tested those from Marquis. Their reps let us use the tub in the shop. I liked the size of the tubs and the jets. I also liked that they were a local company and that the tubs are made 30 miles from where I lived. Their installers dropped it off and it was set up in a few minutes. The tub was really small and the two guys lifted it up, carried it over and set it down. I wired it and thereafter, it was ready to go. Their guys also showed me how to set it up and how all the water worked.

    Since then, the tub hasn't really gotten dirty though I use it two times a day. I've wiped it down and changed the water a couple of times but it has been really easy to take care of it. It's been super cheap to run as well. Overall, it seems like a really good system. Using the tub feels relaxing. I get up in the morning and I jump in for a few minutes. At night, before I go to bed, I sit down after that I sleep better. I recommend this spa to anybody.

    We've been using Marquis Spas for seven months now and we're much happier with their hot tub compared to the other brand that we had before. The installation of our Marquis tub was seamless, quick and easy. The installers set everything up for us and it took no time at all. We use our hot tub four times a week, so we enjoy it a lot.

    But the only hiccup we had was that 90 days after we got our hot tub, the valves started leaking. We took one valve back and they gave us a different valve, which we put on, and that solved the problem. But then, within the next week or so, all the valves started leaking. When we went to the local dealer, they said that they were having an issue with that type of valve, so they gave us a different type that was not the plastic one anymore. Since then, we haven't had any leaking. Although that wasn't a huge issue, we were surprised they were using those plastic valves that leaked.

    I had a tub that was old and was starting to nickel and dime me where I had to work on it all the time. I do maintenance at convenience stores. I work on AC, refrigerators, and I work on my tub too, so I got tired of having to work on something. I wanted something I didn't have to work on. I bought a tub from Marquis and it's nice. I also installed it and it was easy.

    My Marquis tub has helped out my back, which was the reason I got it. But I have these little fountain things that I had to adjust. The thing that turns it on and off fell out, so I had to reinstall all that. Also, draining it was a pain and I didn't care for it so I put a sump pump in it to drain it. Other than that, the tub's been really good so far and I like the heater. I have recommended Marquis to other people.

    I went to the place where I bought my pool and they mostly sold Marquis Spas, so went with them over competing tub brands. I got one from a dealer and had a great buying experience. Moreover, their installers knew exactly what they were doing. However, the zone dials and the aerator are confusing as to how they operate in which zone. It's not very clear-cut as to what turns on and off which jet. Since getting the tub, it has been pretty good except for the zone dials which have deteriorated and had to be replaced. I've replaced every zone dial on the tub so far just in a 9-month period. Though the dealer has replaced them at no cost, I still would like not having repairs within the first year.

    We've been using Marquis Spas for 18 years. Their hot tubs are of good quality and they've worked well for me. We had our old hot tub for a long time already, so I looked at other brands, but the newer tubs have more power requirements. Since I didn't want to rewire anything, I bought another hot tub from Marquis. I was very happy with the Marquis dealer, Valley Pools, which is the pool place that I go to. Their people came and took the old tub out, and set the new one up. Then they called me afterwards to see if I wanted a tutorial on how to run a hot tub. Our new hot tub is doing well. But one time I was away and it got a little green because it needed extra chemicals, but I can't blame them for that since I've owned a hot tub long enough to know better.     We liked the Marquis hot tub we had in the first home we purchased. It was really old, like 25 years, but it was still good with a pump. So when we bought another hot tub, we decided to stick with the same brand. We've been with Marquis for 15 years and we got our third one through Spa Brokers. They installed the hot tub and it didn't take long. They hauled away the old one and put the new one in, and we like this unit. It's a lot smaller. My only concern is that the pressure of the jet is not so strong because it doesn't have two pumps. The previous units we had did so the pressure was definitely better than versus just having one pump. Also, when we had an issue with the pump of the old one, the customer service rep helped my husband to figure it out. Overall, I'm happy with our experience and we're satisfied with Marquis.     Our Marquis tub works and it is comfortable. The installation went fine and a guy scratched one of the sides of the panels while they were putting it in, but they replaced it. We've had tons of problems with the jet. The outlets keep breaking on it, but Marquis has replaced them every time it happened. And also, they'll replace them as they break, but wouldn't replace them all at the same time. When they did the replacements, they changed it from a clear plastic to a solid plastic. They didn't give an explanation, but I could tell they changed the way it was manufactured, so it just didn't hold up well. Other than that, they've been fine, and I would recommend them.

    We've always had in-ground spas. In fact, prior to using Marquis, we used a Cal Spa. Since the installation of our Marquis hot tub, its overall quality has been good. I have to clean the filters out a lot though. The lid is on all the time but I noticed that when they get clogged up it's tough to get them clean enough so they work like they do when they were new. Nonetheless, I'd recommend Marquis Spas.

    We had a Marquis tub before for 12 years but we moved and left it. We bought this second tub from the same company and the installation went fine. We use it for relaxation in the evening. During winter time, we use it five times a week. However, we just have to watch the chemicals in there like ozonators but then my husband takes care of those.
