    We live in a very rural Appalachian area. I needed somebody local who could actually fix the tub if there was an issue so we went with Marquis Spa. They delivered the tub and did an excellent job. They cleaned up all their mess. The hot tub I got has two pumps, lighting, and waterfalls. The LED lighting is a joke, though. It's three little lights on one side of the thing, which is enough to light it up, but it's nothing to get excited about. But I like the jets. The type of jets it has is really cool. It has these knobs so I can redirect pressure to different places and I like that concept but honestly, what runs doesn't make any sense at all.

    The dealer had Marquis Spas set up in the showroom with water in them. I was able to go in and the rep walked me through each function of each part of the spa. We bought the Summit. It has one big jet down in the middle of the tub. Don came down for the installation. Prior to the install, we made a plan. He spent about an hour with me, asking and telling me, "Which way do you want to turn? You're gonna sit in the seat, here's your view." I owned a spa prior to this, so I already had everything set up. He took less than an hour to install it.

    I had an issue with the ControlMySpa app wifi connection but my dealer isn't too tech-savvy. I emailed Marquis directly but they ignored me. I called the third-party vendor that writes the software and they were able to help me. The app works, but it needs major improvements and better tech support. It took me days to find out a number to call them. That was very important to me. That was one of the benefits. On my way home, I wanna be able to log in on the app and turn the spa up so that when I get home, I can go out and relax.

    I had the Marquis sales rep's phone number so, I was able to text message and communicate back and forth during the setup and delivery. The reps did the delivery and recommended an electrician.     We bought a Marquis product for a rental property that's out of town. It's been installed. It looks good. I was happy with the process. The size was really important to us in making the layout of the actual spa. The retailer where we were buying it was in a pretty small town. We really picked the retailer first for easy delivery. The retailer was Bend Fireside. They're a Marquis dealer. We went in not having a lot of information, and the salesperson was very consultative, steered us in the right direction and tried to find the right products that fit our needs versus trying to upsell us on something that was too fancy that we didn't need. So, it was a good experience.

    The features of what got are fairly basic. It's not really low-end, but even the lower-end one comes with nice features. We cared about the actual seating arrangement. We wanted to be able to fit more people in it as possible versus a couple of people that can really comfortably lie down. It's at a vacation rental, so we wanted to be able to have people all go in it together at the same time. As far as the look, we didn't want anything overly flashy. Also, we wanted to make sure there weren't too many features that were gonna get broken because it's in a rental, so less technology was a little bit better for us in this case because there will be fewer buttons and things that people can push and mess up.

    The people I deal with are great, although they're new and I could tell they don't know that much yet because it's new. But they're doing a good job and they're trying their best. And they're short-handed. I wish there was somebody that knew what they were doing. Also, if you're going to be sell your product, you should be certified to at least do all the work to it. That includes doing the electrical work. And I had to hire somebody and they had to be there and the timing, that's crazy. Marquis Spas did it and they ended up wiring it. But I had to hire a guy, get the guy out there, to just double-check that it's okay.

    I'm having an issue with the MicroSilk. The tech came over and he looked at it, but I still don't think it's working the way it should. I talked to their rep and he wasn't warm and fuzzy. Because I said, "Something's wrong with this thing and the programming is a little off." It's not producing as many bubbles as I see in the videos or if I go in the store. And their response is, "It looks like it's working." It does look like it's working.

    They have an eight-person one in their showroom and I could see it. It's like a milky kind of a finish. It's thick, I couldn't see the bottom. But that never happens with mine. I could always see right to the bottom all the time. I would love to see one that's the model and have it turn on, and I would know. Other than that, the tub is great. It's well-built, and I like the design and the controls on it. Give Marquis Spas a shot.

    My experience with Marquis was great. The sales rep was courteous and helpful in helping me meet what I wanted. I had already done a lot of research on my own as far as sizing. Then, the delivery was smooth and quiet. They did the delivery twice because when they came out, the location I had for the tub to go was not to a standard that they felt would work. It wasn't permanent enough. So, they installed it in one part of my patio, and then I got a slab laid. That was not part of their process, but I got a slab laid for it, and they came back free of charge and moved it. I picked the wrong style when I picked it but for what it is, it is a great tub. It's easy to clean.

    We purchased a Vector V77L hot tub through southside pools and spas and immediately once the unit was delivered and they got their money it was as if they wash their hands of any customer service. Within the first year of owning it we had the motor burn out, the lights went and since then our cushions have corroded and all the black parts of the cushions began falling apart and accumulating in our filter. They never provided any servicing and when we attempted to contact the company they asked for a photo of the model number and unit which we provided to them and have never heard back from them again. I would never buy a Marquis product ever again! Worst purchase experience we have ever had. Not worth the money we paid.

    We had our swim spa cover damaged in a hail storm. The storm broke the plastic latches and blew the cover off the spa damaging the lift system. Due to damage, we needed to replace the spa cover. What a poor experience. First, the dealer could not figure out what size cover to order. I called Marquis and was told that I would have to go through the dealer. The dealer finally found to right cover and then I was told that the cover would cost $1400 and would take 6 months to make? Really, 6 months for a $1400 cover? This company sells many spas; I find it hard to believe that it takes 6 months to make a simple spa cover.

    Further, Marquis customer service was short and uninformative. We have a damaged cover and we have to be able to cover the spa to protect it from the weather. What are we suppose to do? 6 months is absolutely absurd to wait for a simple cover for a spa. These should be an in stock item; not something that has to be made when ordered. Given the cost of these pools and the cover, there is no reason for poor customer service and an inability to get a cover to us in a reasonable amount of time!

    Marquis has long life. Balboa components and jets are best in the business. Tub is great but recommended Smart Chlor is not. Messed up our 3 pillows and control panel in less than yr. Warranty replaced panel but not pillows. ??? Switched to dichlor. All is well. Then diverter valve broke. Pandemic messing with parts orders. Over a 1.5 yrs and still waiting on Marquis to supply 2 diverter valves for our Celebrity Woodstock Elite tub so captain chair will work. Local dealer is no more. Need help from Marquis...Anybody out there???

    We purchased the Signature series hot tub in Oct 2018 after paying a high price for a supposed quality product. We are not impressed at all with quality. I am 66 yrs old and owned both hot tubs and pools at every house I have lived since age 7, so I know how to take care of them properly. Water is balanced perfectly according to manufacturer instructions all the time. Despite this, the hot tub has deteriorated since buying, starting at about 2-3 months.

    Most annoying are the buttons and controls. The main screen fogged over permanently within a year. The rotary dial controls are unmarked and hard to turn - we still can’t figure out what some do. The buttons to turn jets on/off with the Marquis name on each were just cheap plastic covered stickers, which began falling off almost immediately. There is not one item with the Marquis name which is readable inside the cover. (If they don’t care about their name showing, I don’t either.) Head pillows are cracked and swollen after only about 2 yrs. And they want a hefty price to replace all these things, which should have lasted many years. Fortunately all the pumps and heater continue to work at 2.5 yrs. However, given all the cosmetic problems alone we would not buy Marquis again! We have owned cheaper brands that lasted much longer. And none have deteriorated as fast as this. Avoid the Marquis brand.

    Ten years after purchase and spa parts are failing regularly. Have had to replace two jets due to poor quality plastic in retention clips. Six more need replacement and I expect the entire set of jets for the spa will need replacement all due to the plastic clip failure. Recirculation pump failed at 10 years, main pump is now surging rather than continuous flow. Control panel decals have faded and come off. Cushioned Head Rests have started to deteriorate. My previous spa by a different manufacturer lasted 20 years without similar problems.

    Based on reputation & reviews, I decided to purchase a Marquis spa from a local dealer. After 18 months, it developed a leak. All local Marquis dealers had stopped selling Marquis, and Marquis support said we were out of luck, no warranty as a result. $1K to find & fix the leak. At 30 months, it now needs 2 control boards, $1300. Obviously, dealers dropped Marquis for good reasons, but now we are stuck paying for Marquis’ lack of quality control and refusal to honor their warranty. Don’t make the same mistake we did, it is an expensive one.

    This simply is not how Marquis does business. If we did, we would not be in business very long. Our reputation is exactly the same as it has always been which is why you purchased a hot tub from us in the first place. We always honor our warranty even if the original dealer doesn't do the work. If you are indeed within the warranty period and the leak is because of manufactures defect we will fix it. If you have a PC Board and it is in warranty we will fix it. It is as simple as that.

    I had to replace the control panel 3 times. Right after the warranty ran out it stopped working again. Stickers have fallen off and rust started dripping from the control knobs. Beware. Too much money for this.

    I purchased this sp in February. It wasn't long before one of the jet packs came off. They are held in by a small tab on all four sided. The dealer provided a replacement and I installed it. It wasn't long before it came off again. The dealer sent me a replacement. Then another. Same story.

    Now I have two jets out and the dealership will not return my calls or emails. The company rep (Gary D.) responded to an mail and told me to change the jets from rotating to straight. That would change the hot tub I purchased.

    If you plan to purchase one, have the dealer supply you with a case of 4R jets.

    There was a local spa company that I worked with. We searched for a long time and got the Marquis hot tub. The installation went very well. The hot tub is a very well-made product and it's therapeutic. I had a therapeutic hot tub before for my back, joints, etc. In addition to the therapy jets, it has some massaging features. In general, I really like how it’s designed and laid out. I've had the hot tub for almost a year and it does everything I expected it to do. It massages and relaxes. It's definitely better than the hot tub I had before. I would definitely recommend it.

    I bought my Marquis hot tub a year ago. I went to a couple of different stores and that was the one I liked. The installation was easy. The guys were able to push it around the side of the house and put it in there. The only snag we ran into was running the electrical in there. The thing where it run the electrical was blocked by foam, but we drilled in a hole instead, so that was not a problem. Marquis' team members were very good. They were all very helpful, knowledgeable and interesting. Since having the tub, it has given me something to do most days. I get home after work or after the gym and sit in it for half-hour. I use it two or three times a week. It’s worth it

    At the Leisure Time Pools, I was told by a representative that the Marquis spa would be a good buy so I bought the six-seater one. I've had it since July. The installation was great. The same can be said about the jets and the heat. But I had an issue with the control panel and I actually didn’t know that it was an issue. One of the pumps stopped working and the whole screen just got to a point where you couldn’t see it anymore because of too much moisture. That started in the first month. For about two months, I couldn’t use it because it wasn’t working right. I was irritated since it was new. But techs came and looked at it. They replaced the screen and put a new one in there. They sealed it better than before. The overall thing besides that issue was great.

    I like the ease of the chemicals that you use with Marquis. I like the tub. I like the features of the chlorination and the jets. I like to be able to redirect the heat and the jets where I want them. It's the monthly bag that makes it much simpler than the hot tub I used to have and the ability to redirect the jets wherever I want them redirected to. My wife and I both lounges in the tub. It had two lounges, and that's what we wanted. We had bought two other hot tubs from the dealer that we dealt with, and we felt they were good folks and they took care of us. They are Marquis dealers. The installation was fine. The installers did a great job. My wife uses the tub a lot more than I do because I'm gone a lot, but it's much more relaxing than the tub we had before. It makes our nights a little more restful.

    I've been searching for a spa for a long time, about a year and a half. I looked at all different kinds.     We were getting a pool and we were kinda drawn in by the guy we were talking with to get a Marquis hot tub as well. There was something that was good for your skin that was supposed to clean your skin out and everything. We just felt like that was a little bit of an added feature that others didn't have. We don’t use the hot tub that much now that we got it, but it was something that we thought we might use more.

    My wife really wanted a hot tub. We did a lot of research on it and saw a lot of good reviews on Marquis. That was probably the thing that kinda cinched it for me instead of the other brand that we were looking at, Jacuzzi. It was really a hard decision. The price was a shock to me because I had never looked for one before. I started finding out the differences between the $2,000 or $3,000 one compared to the one that we bought with the Marquis. But I bought it for my wife. I probably wouldn’t have bought it if it wasn’t for her. Also, when I was reading and researching about the hot tub, they were saying it was very ergonomic. I kinda realize this now that I’ve been in it. I never thought about it before. But you get in and you try to lie down, you keep floating on the top.

    I’ve only had the hot tub through the late part of the summer but I’ve been happy with it. My family and all my grandkids love it. That’s the part that really surprised me. I thought it would just be adults in there but the grandkids love to get in the hot tub too. I got 13 of them and you can’t get them all in there, but they all try to do so. Everyone goes to the bathroom before they get into this hot tub. But we haven’t really been out there in the winter because I need to get some type of structure to kinda block the wind. We have a lot of wind in Oklahoma. Other than that, we kinda got everything quite set up the way we want.

    I wanted a hot tub that looked the best. My old one was kind of a standard hot tub. We bought two at the same time. One is a Marquis and one’s not. We bought one for our house in Sunriver and one for our house in Portland. They're both good. The newer one has more gadgets on it. But they're expensive. I truly don’t think a hot tub is worth 8 or 10 grand as it’s just a tub full of water. I set the tub in place and an electrician friend of mine hook it up. They seem fine.

    Marquis seemed to have good quality and they're local. I bought my second tub from them and the installation was fine. The tub seems to have the same type of system that was there 20 years ago when we bought our original. We’re pretty happy with it. But this second one is not as robust as my first one. It seems to be more wood than what I remember. The display’s gone out on it now so I have to call in service on that. Some of the characters are not showing up anymore. The controls and the manual controls for on-off for the pressure seem flimsy, but it’s probably just because that’s how they’re designed so that they're easy to replace. There’s a trade space there.

    My neighbor had a tub and said it was a good one. I looked at another one and it looked good too but I decided to go with a Marquis. Also, I kinda wanted the round tub, which had almost 50 more gallons than the square-ish tub, and Marquis had the round tub. It was on sale and they had the exact one that I wanted in a warehouse.     We like the built-in filtration that the Marquis tub has. It lets the minerals and the chlorine to be able to dispense automatically. I got a tub previously for about 15 years and six different ones. And the Marquis tub works very well. It keeps it crystal clear in there.     We had one Marquis before and it was in the last 15 years that we had another one. The other one was pretty much worn out and the motor had been replaced once and acting up again. Our new tub is a nice, clean design tub, and we got it and tried it out when it was in the showroom. The customer service was outstanding also. The boss himself was able to wheel it out and bring me a new one in and without a lot of gyration as he had a good tool to do it. The features are working perfectly and two of us at home use it almost everyday. It's a good solid tub and we're happy with it.

    We have a friend who has few houses and owns a few of the different models of Marquis Spas. We've had our Marquis tub for less than a year now. The installation went pretty well. There were two occasions early on where the breaker would trip, but we got that resolved pretty quickly. I like that the tub is pretty simple to use and that it has a lounger, the Hollywood model. I also like that the jets are very soothing. The one thing that I’m trying to figure out is the jets pop off from time to time, and I don’t know if that’s user error like somebody’s twisting it too far left. I had to buy some rubber gasket replacement ‘cause one of them broke off. But so far, that’s been the only issue that I’ve had with it.

I've known the rep who sold me the Marquis for years and he does a good job. I know the folks in his store there and they’re very helpful. So, it was a trust relationship with those guys that sold me on it. Plus, the guys that delivered it to set it up did an awesome job.

    The hot tub sits six but usually, there’s just two or four of us in it, and everyone has good access to jets. The jets are the big thing for me. We spent a little more for it than we would have elsewhere. I've sat in hot tubs before where you had a jet hog and no one else got jets. I just got off the phone with a colleague of mine that works in Pittsburg. He was asking me because we both put in Marquis about the same time. I recommended it to him and he put one in, and he’s very happy with it as well. So, I would highly recommend Marquis. It’s very easy to maintain and the chemicals are simple. If I have kids in mind, they can’t mess things up because there’s just not a lot to mess up. So, that’s a big advantage, too.

    I’d recommend Marquis. We've been using them for 15 years. The manufacturer was close by and then they treated us right before. The installation went well. We already had a pad there from the previous one, so it was just a matter of bringing it in and putting it on it. They were good. I like the features of the tub, the functionality and the access to the inside, so it’s repairable. But I don’t like the arrangement for the chemicals. I’d much rather just use powdered chemicals than the cartridges.

    We got a discount for Marquis at a home show. It seemed like a good deal and we decided it might be fun to have a tub. The tub soothes the aches and pains. We got the smallest tub in the line. It's a three-person tub. It seems very well made. The gentleman that came to get the tub in the basement were very proficient. We had an issue where there was a missing lockdown. It was for the waterfalls so we have an in-the-tub leak. So they got another lock nut put on it so that the valve stayed. The valve popped up a little bit with the pressure and there was water running down where the valve was into the tub.

    Being that it was an inside installation there wasn’t a whole lot of dirt or anything. They did have to use a six-man crew to get the tub down into the basement. They worked well with each other and used straps to support it while they were getting it down the steps. And then we’ve had an issue with odor. We emptied the tub and refilled it and got a new filter and put new chemicals in. But we still have a little bit of an odor. I’m guessing that whatever it was that’s causing it was inside the plumbing and it was not all taken care of whenever we changed the water.

    We did a search and Marquis and a Canadian company were the two front runners. We were concerned that we wouldn’t be able to get customer service if we needed something with the tub, so we eliminated the other company and went with Marquis.     Marquis Spa was local and it was made here in the State of Oregon. So we chose to go with Marquis Spa and the installation was easy. The guy who owns the company did a good job. However, it’s very hard to get the door off to drain the tub. It’s got the front panel there and it's very hard to get the side panel off and put it back on. Then on the inside the tub, the knobs that you turn tend to pop out every now and then. It flows around in the tub. But so far, that's the only issue I have with the product. It's still worth getting and it's worth the money.

    We were in the market to get another hot tub again and got one that has a dual pump system with an LED light package and a little waterfall feature. The installers came right out, put the tub in place and got it all set up. They were good. When we were looking around a little bit, we liked the design of the inside and the style of everything. The handles and knobs on the valves could be a little bit beefier, but the price point was good compared to some of the other ones out there too. It meets the quality based on what we were paying. There were a couple other brands out there that were a little more money, but a little better quality on some things though. Also, we already had a couple issues with some of the valves, which was a little concerning since it was brand-new, but Marquis came out and took care of them at no cost.

    I looked at the ratings online and it said that 98% of the customers would recommend buying this Marquis spa again. And so I said, “That’s it for me. I’m getting it.” Our hot tub has been wonderful, with the exception of one horrible flaw that makes me lose my mind every time I do it -- and it is the best spa. I have owned a bunch of them, and this is the only spa that has this total design flaw. When you drain the tub, you have to take that unbelievable door off. To get to the drain plug is like taking a car apart. It is complicated and impossible to do because you have to take off the side panels with the lights and the front panel. Then, the screws are also impossible to get out. It is terrible. It takes an average of 30 to 35 minutes to unscrew all of the panels to get to the hose that is inside the hot tub. And then once you’ve done that and you’ve drained the tub, you have to unhook it and then put everything else back.

    With my last tub, all I did was screw a hose on the outside and there it went. The flaw is bothersome that I looked if there was some way they could do a fix-up kit and send it to me so that it could go to the outside. I also almost went on the website and said, “Do not buy this spa because of this.” It is that bad of a problem. It is a great tub, but I would not buy another one unless they have corrected this.

    We bought a Marquis Spas from Colley's Pool in Hamburg. And when we walked in there, found the nicest people. The manager of the place and the service people were all super. We looked at four models and then right then and there, we decided when it was time to get a hot tub, we were gonna get one. Colley Pools is an excellent vendor. They were able to get us the one that we wanted for a really good price. We got one that was 28 inches high because my wife and I are both disabled. She could not climb up into the 32 or 36-inch ones. They were too high.

    Although we had to build a concrete slab for the hot tub, we're exceptionally happy with it. We also built one for the barbecue next to the gazebo and turned it into a really nice place to go out. We opened it up at the end of April, closed it in September. We absolutely loved it. The hot tub's quality is excellent and we appreciate it. The ability to do a 240 and keep both motors running and have it running all year is the best feature. Colley's Pool takes care of the chemicals, the cleaning and the filtration. And I, at about 8 o'clock at night, I turn the lights on, get red, yellow, blue, and green, and watch the sun go down over Lake Erie as I sit there in the hot tub. It's like nostalgia. It also takes all of my pain away.

    While doing comparison shopping, we went into two other shops in our town that sold hot tubs. Ultimately, we were most satisfied with Marquis. And we were extra satisfied with the care of the team at the only store in town that sold Marquis. Colley’s Pool and Spa is a local pool shop and their customer service and attentiveness to us was what made us settle on Marquis.

    We had never bought anything there before, but they remembered who we were. Michelle, the lady who runs the store, has been in the business for more than 20 years and there was not one question that she could not answer. We even brought our questions from the other shop and said, "I'm comparing this hot tub to your hot tub. Tell me about your hot tub." She gave us the answers that we were looking for, but we didn't tell her what we were looking for. They didn't care who sells what. I stood by their brand. The other guys said that their tub was the best, but didn't know why it was the best. And they would talk bad about the other companies.

    The installation was a little intensive and extensive of a process, but it wasn't a headache. It was a very pleasurable experience. We have an older home and the installers had to run different lines and we had to pay extra money to get electricity to the area where we wanted the tub. We also had to get a pad laid. It's a very comfortable tub and there's no wasted space. You can also custom order it. Whatever needs you have, Marquis will meet it.

    I go in about every two weeks to have my water tested. I have the store manager's personal phone number and I have access to them anytime I want them. The tub is less than a year old, but we have had to cash in on our warranty already. Our control panel quit responding on the top half. The SOAK button and the JETS 3 were the only things that would respond. The BACK button and the temperature gauge quit. It was an older control panel and it got some moisture trapped under it. I told the manager about it one day and the next morning, someone was out here and installed a new one for us.

    Marquis Spas has been phenomenal. We love it and enjoy it. The only downside is that the jets dials pop out. So I have to pop them back in, twist them and lock them back in. They don’t stay in place. And it happened to four of the jets the first time I used it. Even if I go to the vendor they would say, “Oh, just pop it back in, twist it.” I said, "But it’s not back." I paid a lot of money for the Marquis to have things like that. That's really annoying. That stuff shouldn’t be happening. It’s not like kids are playing with them or people are banging on them. They literally just flowed out. But other than that everything has been wonderful. It runs, stays warm, and it’s been a great experience. So buy a Marquis but make sure you don't have the same experience I did. Get a contract saying the vendor is responsible if any of those things pop out.

    This Marquis is my first new hot tub. I’ve purchased two used ones from the same dealer where I bought this one from. They did well in service for me. They got a good reputation, and some good pricing. The sales guy asked what we’re looking for, the price range and the previous history. We had issues with the other one we had in the past, and they had the display model that was appropriate for what we were looking in.

    The installation went exceedingly well. It was a little bit of a chore getting it back, had a couple of gates to go through but it went through fine. The guy was very knowledgeable. He asked me if I have any questions and told us little tweaks here and there and suggestions how to get it set up and operating. We didn’t have power available at the time so they couldn’t do much more then. And then we had a little bit of problems with the tub. For the first couple of months it would just stop working. The pumps wouldn’t work, the heater flickered on and off. I called them, and by the time they’re getting ready to come out here, in a day or so, it would start up and be working just fine.

    Finally it happened again, so I just shut the power off and scheduled an appointment. They came out and looked at it. In the course, when they turned the power on, it worked just fine. But based upon what I had told what’s been going on they replaced the pump motor, and we haven’t had any mechanical problem with it at all after. They thought it was a bad spot and armature for the motor, where it would stop at a certain point, then just didn’t kick to get going. So if the pump doesn’t go the heater can’t go and the heater shuts off. So it’s a safety thing, which is good.

    They were having a big expo down at Cal Expo on spas and we really didn't wanna have to deal with the whole circus down there. So, I talked to my brother and he said to go to Marquis. They had a Marquis spa and so did my cousins. We had to prep before the installers got here and once they got here, the installation went very smoothly. Their customer service was wonderful and we're really enjoying our spa and the relief it gives. We like many of the features but it really has the therapeutic effect and the micro silk is nice. One of the other things is, we have an autistic son and so we don't get to enjoy a lot of socializing with him and it's a place where we can socialize with him. He's really calm because of the deep pressure in the water, so that's a really huge plus right there.

    I'm already recommending Marquis. I would have others go where we went. It's nice that they're local and if we have any problems, they would reach out and make sure that we're satisfied. We've been back a few times, talking to them, and getting supplies. They've been really great especially since it's our first time with a spa and it's a little bit of a learning curve.

    I purchased my Marquis Spas hot tub in April but I couldn't have it installed then because my pavers weren't done yet. It wasn't until July when they were done and I could have the hot tub delivered. However, I was not told that the lift kit was on back order. I didn't know it was unavailable until they installed the hot tub. I wish someone would've said something to me when we were being persuaded. So, for the first month, in order to use the hot tub, we had to pull its cover off completely, which was annoying. Also, the steps that they brought were the wrong color. I had my cabinet swapped out for the one on a model they had in the showroom, because the color that I wanted was not in stock, but they forgot to grab the matching step. They were gonna keep them there but I told them to bring me the new one when they can, and they brought them out a few days after.

    What's shocking was that I had an issue with the control panel within the first six months of having the unit. The touch panel on this hot tub was on the expensive side and known for its quality, but it wasn't working in the upper left-hand corner. I couldn't adjust anything, like the temperature, so I couldn't really use the hot tub. I called and left them a message, and then they called me back either the same day or the next day. It was a busy time of year for them, with a lot of people closing their pools, so they put me on the schedule to get out as soon as they could, once they confirmed that they had the part available.

    They came out about two weeks after I called and they fixed it. I was a little frustrated with that time frame, but I know there was nothing they could do. They only have so many people working. And since they fixed it, I haven't had any issues with the pad. They're coming out again tomorrow to show me how to drain the hot tub because it's time for me to change the water out. Hopefully, I'll be good to go for the winter. It's a fantastic unit and everyone who has been in it and in other hot tubs comments about how nice it is and how great it feels. The jets are fantastic and I love the ability to adjust every single jet. My son loves the waterfall feature and the lights.

    We found Marquis by going around to the different stores in Bend, Oregon. I looked at each of the different spas and what the features were of each one and the thing I like about the Marquis Spa was that it had a soak mode. Also, we like the size because it's just the two of us and we were looking for something that was a little bit smaller than the one we had previously. And the inside material is not too slippery. The other thing we like is that they're local or made in Oregon. We also like the people there. They were very helpful and nice.

    They could improve the jets. The way that they're kind of set up in the tub, the control that you have for them is kind of limiting. Right now, we can only control the top half or the bottom half and we can't have them both on at the same time or if we do, it's only very lightly. We have to split the power to make sure it's coming out. It would be better if we could control each panel of jets in the recliner area at the same time. Also, we had a problem with the touch screen. We had to have it replaced once and it's still a little wonky. I tried to fix the time the other day and I kept hitting the button and wouldn't let me change the time. I had to dry off the screen and my finger. It was a little cumbersome. But the customer service was fine and I'm overall pretty happy with the tub.

    I’m very happy with the Marquis tub's finish. A little letdown is the location and the choice that we made of the jet design. My wife and I both tend to like things on our feet and we haven’t found that this one really has that. Of course, you don’t know until you’re actually sitting in it. Also, I would have liked to drop the temperature a bit while we were gone and I couldn’t shut the light off at first. We finally got it by just killing the power to the whole unit, and then bringing it back up. But the screen froze up and I couldn’t change it. The screen is acting up a bit, as far as the controls. And so I had to shut it off just before we left. After calling the merchant that we bought it from in Bend, Oregon, Fireside Spa, we got a call very quickly from the contractor to come out and fix it. I just held him off because we were leaving. So it’s gonna get repaired as soon as we get back from our trip. They’re scheduled to give us a call, come out and look at it.

    The stairs are very stable and I find that very functional for using the interior storage on it. I like the way the lid works. Time will tell on how the cover stands up. Maintaining the cover has been one of the maintenance items that I’ve remembered from 20 years that we've had hot tubs. But I’m happy with the way it works, and the ease of shutting it and opening it. I would recommend for others to try one out in the showroom, or see where all the jets are that they really appreciate most. The only two things that have been a little negative were the jets on the feet and the flat screen control. Other than that, everything else works. I’m very pleased with the rest of the tub.

    Marquis was on sale and there was the floor model. I got it for 3,000 off of the normal price. However, the sales floor team wasn't good at all. I kept asking the people at the store basic questions like how much room I would need in the driveway. They told me they were bringing it on a Ford F150. I asked if there was gonna be a lot of people and if I had to move my cars because I have a lot of cars on my driveway. They said no. I also told them that I have a little hill with a 45-degree incline that goes down to my yard. I asked if that was gonna matter. They said it wouldn't matter at all. But after that they said it was gonna matter big time. They almost didn't want to deliver it, so I was complaining.

    When the guys got here, they said it wasn't bad at all and that they've done worse. They brought a box truck with a spa on the back, and then there were two more trucks. I could have moved some vehicles around to make more room for them, but the lady from the sales from team was just unaware of how their own delivery team worked. When they were hooking the spa up, it was actually pretty good.

    However, the spa's horrible and I have two problems with it. I have the model where it has a waterfall on it. Only one waterfall in the front is popping off. I called the lady and she said I was doing it wrong. I told her that from the get-go, something seemed wrong with it. And around two months after I had it, the waterfall broke and stopped working. They said it wasn't covered under warranty and asked me to buy this $5-part which I did. They showed me how to replace it. I'm a contractor and I'm savvy. I know basic generals about everything. I'm the one that hooked the electric up for that. So, took it apart, replaced it, but only one popped up.

    They said that the mat must have went through one of the tubes and that they'd send somebody out here. But they didn't know when because they were busy. I told them that I didn't care if it's a month or a week out, and just give me a date. They were supposed to be out two weeks later on a Thursday at 8:00 AM. The guy didn't get here until 10:00 or 11:00, and then he could not find it in the line. So, he left without saying anything to me.

    I called Marquis and said that the thing's not working. I had to run out and by the time I got back, the guy was gone. He said he's gotta dig more into the line to get it running or to get that tube out and he didn't have time for it that day. On top of that, I still can't get certain jets to work. One of the outer things popped off.

    When I called the store, it's like literally pulling teeth. I could only speak to the one lady, Maryann because no one else knows anything but her. So, if she was busy, I would not be getting any answers and be told, "Maryann's gonna call you back."

    Then, Maryann kept telling me to turn it in different zones. I did but they're still not coming on. I wanted to be here when the guy was here to say that we needed to fix this problem first. Also, the AC1 and AC2 buttons, which you turn it to adjust the zones were really loud. I'm like, "I know this is the floor model. How long was it there? Am I gonna have a lot of problems with it?" I still paid 13,000 for it. It wasn't a small purchase. I asked when he was coming back. They said they were supposed to be back, today, Thursday which I actually forgot because I had a lot of stuff going on. So, I'm gonna have to call in the morning and say that they're still supposed to be out this week to fix it. With my experience with Marquis, I wish I went to Eagle Spa and got a different brand because I am so disappointed with this hot tub, it's not even funny.

    We've had our Marquis hot tub since May. The installation went okay. But we had some issues with the hot tub. Our hot tub has speakers in it and they were alternating, working one versus the other, back and forth. The speakers had to be replaced. Also, there are two pumps. One of them wasn’t working because it wasn’t really turned on. It wasn’t a big deal but we had to call the company back to come and fix that. The replacement was done a week ago. Our problems were fixed but they should not have been a problem to start with. Other than that, the people that came out were very friendly. The people at the store were very nice too. And the customer service seems to be fine.

    I had a bad experience when the Marquis tub was installed. The installers didn't put it in the hole. They left it out because they put the cover on before they slid it in the hole and then it wouldn't go. We told them that they'd have to put the cover on after they put it in the hole, but they didn't. My husband ended up taking it all and got another couple of guys to come and put it in the hole, and then he put the cover back on. Overall, the tub seems to be doing okay, but it keeps throwing my breaker.

    The installers of the Marquis tub were good. The only problem was that the crane that they brought wasn’t able to bring it in the way they thought they were going to. But the guys came back with a carton, and managed to roll it around the side of the house. I was overall pretty happy with what they did. The hot tub is nice to be in. It’s fairly quiet. The jets work well. It’s comfortable, and it does pretty much what they said it would do. So far, I’ve been pleased with it. The only thing that I’ve had happen at all was it got cloudy after my daughter and her four friends came and used it. But the retailer was very good about suggesting what chemicals to use to try and clean it up. Overall, it’s better than I expected.

    The Marquis hot tub was initially put too close to my deck so I couldn’t put the cover lifter on it. I had already filled it and drained it, and then had to drain it and move it because nobody told me about the cover lifter. When I tried to fill it the first time, none of the hoses were connected, so all the water just came splashing out, and it took a couple days for the installer to come back and hook up all the hoses. And then, he hooked up all the hoses and I filled it up, and it didn’t come on. So, it wasn’t a very good experience. It took 7 to 10 days before the hot tub worked like it was supposed to. I use it every morning and I really enjoy it. The jets are good and the water stays hot. It’s good. It’s just that the initial installation was difficult. But now that it’s up and running, it’s been great.

    I have a 3 year old tub that I paid nearly $7,000 for. The circuit board failed just before 2 year warranty ended. Circuit board failed again 1 year later. $500 to fix. That circuit board just failed again after 1 month. I questioned the store and he assured me it was very rare and he spoke to Marquis about my problem.     We bought a house that had an old tub, and it was nonfunctional. And we bought the Marquis to replace it. Marquis was the highest rated brand that was available in our area. We've had it about two months. There are a couple of things about the spa itself operation wise that I would note. I got a V84 which is the Vector Series. The way the proportioner valves distribute from one seat to the next seat doesn't really make an awful lot of sense to me. One valve on one side of the tub operates two seats. And then, there is a separate valve for just one seat instead of each seat having its own valves, and it's just the same on both sides.

    Also, one of the pumps seems a lot stronger than the other. Even when it's on high, it's not as strong as it seems like it really should be. And it's like one side of the tub you have to have the air on for it to be strong enough to really do anything. On the other side, you don't. And one seat, the neck jets has its own valve just for those jets, and no matter how much you open it up or how much you divert power from other seats to that seat, you never really get any strength out of those particular jets. There's water that comes out of them, and what's really odd is the jets that are beneath that in the same seat are the strongest jets in the whole tub. They'll push right across the tub if you turn it all the way up. But the neck jets are really wimpy no matter what you do.

    The controls could be a little bit less simplistic and a little bit more convenient to use too. For example, when you wanna adjust the temperature, you can't turn it up or down. You have to go all the way up before it starts going back down. Then you have to go all the way down before it starts going back up. There's only one button. There's not an up and down button. It seems like it's a little bit oversimplified for the price point.

    The installation was reasonable. We have a little bit of a steep lawn, and the kids did a pretty good job. I wasn't real happy with some of the codes where they couldn't do the electric. And we had to hire a separate electrician to come in and do that. But that's not Marquis' fault. The Marquis dealers have been good. I've dealt with a couple. There were three of them around me, and I live closer to one. And there's one on my way to work, and then there's one closer to where I work. So, I've been to all three of them one point or another. And like a lot of the owners having problems with getting the water balanced, I had to bug the heck out of them for the first three weeks or so.

    One reason I got Marquis tub was they offered a plug-and-play option wherein you could plug into a normal outlet instead of having it wired in two-way outlets by an electrician. And the second reason, it had, to me, better features than other brands, but the cost was still good though. I have the Broadway Celebrity tub and I absolutely love it.

    The installers came and set it up, and they started filling it up, and they gave me a tutorial of everything, and they gave me a six-month’s worth of chemicals, and set me all up. So, it was all really good. It was a very smooth and very quick installation. It all happened within four days -- buying it and having it delivered. So, it was all smooth-sailing. My biggest pro is how quiet the motor is. Second favorite pro is how clean the filter keeps the water. I haven’t had to do much of anything, but then again, I’m like a natural pool boy. But other than that, I love that the waterfalls go with the light show. They change colors with the light show. Put that back there with some wedding lights and some fire pit, and you’re good to go.

    My wife and I purchased the Marquis Spirit Hot Tub a little over a month ago, and Love it!. It is large enough for us to have our three grandkids in it with us, or four adults work as well. However... we spoil ourselves with just time for her and I. Early morning, afternoon, or watching the sunset from the tub at night. The grandkids love the "Waterfall Feature" of this hot tub, and swim under the rainbow shaped water spouts. Cleanup and chemicals are so much easier than our old hot tub from years ago, which adds to the enjoyment of this spa. I used to take pain relievers for lower back & knee pain at night, but found I rarely have to do this now because of our evening soaks. Another added benefit is the better nights sleep. The only regret we have, is not getting this hot tub sooner.

    We purchased a Marquis hot tub in August 2017 from Premiere Spas when we moved to San Antonio, Tx. Since our purchase we have had pumps replaced 3 times. Several months ago a pump ceased working again, shortly after being replaced, and we were informed by Premiere Spas customer support staff that it was an electrical problem and would not be covered under our warranty. We were told it has to be our electric service even though it we have a new home. We confirmed with our Electric supplier that we didn’t have issues with incoming electric service (as alleged by Premiere and Marquis). No other appliances have been impacted by this.

    Our next step was to engage an electrician to inspect the electrical going to the hot tub. (We used Premiere Spas recommended electrician to install electricity for the hot tub). The electrician found that there was an issue with controller board that didn’t allow the relays to close properly. This information was relayed to Premiere and Marquis and to date (several months without a properly working pump) we have not been made whole. We were informed by Marquis that due to all of the ongoing issues with their product they would not replace the pump and would not honor the rest of our warranty!

    Save your money, time and frustration! The warranty on the hot tub is good unless you have a lemon. Now with 3 months left on the warranty the pump shuts down and then rests. This was an expensive hot tub, and after owning one that cost 1/3 of the cost of a Marquis hot tub, we could not recommend that anyone consider purchasing one tub. THIS WAS THEIR RESPONSE.

    1. The pumps are being run too long and overheating. We have had other spas that are 1/3 of the cost of this one that NEVER had an issue like this or any other issue. Pump #1 runs just as long as pump #2 and doesn't shut down. Pump #2 is not run at high speed the entire time in the spa, we know to nurse it to keep it from shutting down. The electrician said the issue with the board was that relay 1 or 2 didn't close completely and allowed voltage through the other relay.

    2. The incoming electricity is not consistently at 240V. We have had three technicians look at our electricity. The electrician that installed the line, recommended by Premier Spa of San Antonio. The electrician we hired to checked the incoming voltage since both Marquis and Premier said power was the issue even though this is a new home and install. You even went as far as to say it was the power companies’ issue. Premiers technician was out here many times and checked the incoming voltage and they all said the incoming power was consistent. I would think the many times Premiere repaired the spa this issue would have surfaced; unless you think they don’t know how to trouble shoot. While you sit there and say it is a power issue, we have had people to our house not sit in their office and trouble shoot.

    We have other issues with the spa not just the motors that we didn’t have with less expensive spas. The controller that we use to control lights, motor speed and other functions had to be replaced. The valve for the water fall went bad, Premiers technician had one, these are an issue so we carry them with us.

    You can try to explain this away - all I know is I paid a lot more money for a hot tub / spa that doesn't stand up to the less expensive one we previously bought. We will continue to voice our concerns with your product and failure to uphold the warranty.

    The tub was great out of the gate, we used it nearly every day and it was wonderful. Our dealer was easy to work with and the installation was super easy. Our first issue was a control knob for one of the valves that blew right off in operation. We called our dealer and they said a replacement part would arrive in a few days. A week or so later I followed up and the dealer told us that the part was sent to the wrong place. Ok, weird, the part arrived a few days after my second call and I installed it without issue. My wonderful tub is back in operation.

    Move ahead about 10 months and what do you know another control knob cracks during operation and blows off of the tub. I could just copy and paste my last experience. Same story, shipped to the wrong person and eventually installed after a few emails and frustrating calls. Once the knob is installed we're back in operation for a few days and then pump one appears to fail. The tech support at the dealer had me do a ton of troubleshooting to resolve what they thought was an airlock, including completely draining and refilling the tub, and eventually landed on the pump is bad. I've now been waiting for that pump for nearly two weeks, they said it would be a week. In a year of ownership, my tub has been down awaiting parts for well over a month of total time. Pretty frustrating for something we enjoy so much when it works. I would probably look at a tub other than Marquis if I were to buy again.

    The valves that control the Water Fall, Neck Jet and Air Control are extremely faulty. They are designed with a rubber pad that is applied with some poor adhesive to the valve. While the designed functionality does work while the pad stays in place it does not work when the pad adhesive deteriorates and the pad separates from the valve ENTERS YOUR SPA SYSTEM. I rarely turn these features on so this valve pad issue is not a result of a attrition from a valve being turned so many times. I 'm also yet to approach how to get the pads (4) out of my system.

    My local spa dealer has stated he has emailed (months ago) the president of Marquis about this issue. Has not heard back as of yet. I don't understand how this obvious imperfection passed quality control and continues to be on the market. Does Marquis Spa really think people want rubber objects circulating in their spa system? I truly enjoy my spa (Marquis Epic). At this point in time though I will not consider another Marquis spa nor recommend to friends and family because of this valve issue.

    Bought a Resort Tub in 2017. A year later I had lines appearing on the control screen, which was replaced and was under warranty. 1.5 years later the speaker to sound system sounding terrible... Dealer said no longer under warranty. Then I called Marquis customer service and they said sorry can’t help you... “never know when electrical components go. It’s in a spa with water and chemicals”. Very dissatisfied especially paying $1,000 for a sound system that isn’t performing and not up to the supposed Marquis quality!

The warranty on a control panel is 5 years which is a very long time on an electrical component. Most brands offer electrical components with a one-year warranty. The speaker is somewhat sensitive to water chemistry. The speakers will last as long as any other electronic component in the spa if the water chemistry is maintained adequately. We are sorry to hear that your speaker is outside of warranty period. We allow an additional 30 days of coverage after warranty expiration but is sounds like your speaker is half a year out of warranty.

    I went to Keyhole Outdoor Living in Casper WYOMING and bought a new Spa, it had a hard time staying hot. Ran all the time!!! I went back to KEYHOLE OUTDOOR LIVING IN CASPER WYOMING and told the sales girl her name is Amanda, that it made a lot of noise and didn't stay hot, and really it was more like warm, I said does Marque make a bigger heating element? She "Amanda" at KEYHOLE OUTDOOR LIVING, IN CASPER WYOMING, said she would check on it, she got me a bigger unit and said I would have to pay for labor, and really the heating unit was broke and according to the Warranty it should have been covered.

    The repairman came MILK it. IT was a twenty minute job. Turned into a 40 minute, and charge me for 2 hour job. I will never go there again, and I hope Porter spas in Casper, will take it on trade, But I am for certain they will have trouble selling it, So If you are looking for a Hot Tub/spa DO NOT BUY MARQUIS, What a ripoff. They only asked you to pay for the labor to install it which you agreed to do. Heaters will not keep up when it is negative 20 degrees outside and you sit in your tub for several hours.     We bought a home which came with a six year-old Epic hot tub. This is a quite large and complex tub, and we had no idea how to get it up and running. I called the local Marquis dealer, and someone came to our home the same day, and walked us through everything we needed to do to bring the back to like-new condition and operation. He brought all of the needed chemicals and taught us how to use them, and how to drain and fill the tub, check its operation, and check and replace any jets. I had to replace several small parts, like some jets and knobs, but they were available at the local store and affordably priced.

    I'm very impressed that this six year-old tub is in truly like-new condition; the product is very high quality and the support and parts inventory is outstanding. Now that the tub is up and running, we've been using it every morning. We have our coffee and take half an hour to talk about our upcoming day. It's a very relaxing way to start the day, great for our relationship, and the jets give amazing massages.

    Own an Epic, which looks nice and fit well in the space. Really want to love it. That said, pump 1 has consistently had performance issues. It is supposed to be a pump that has two levels and level 1 is really non-existent. Pump 1, level 2 is okay, but about 3/4 the pressure of pump 2, only a few of the pump 1 controlled jets could be considered "therapeutic massage." Have had service out several times and they are insistent it is performing as well as it can for the design, saying that the pump powers the filters and too many jets versus pump 2. Next, the switch covers are 3M stickers which bubbled up underneath the plastic and then the plastic lifted off at some point and wound up in Pump 1 intake.

    We are not frequent users of the tub but are meticulous about pH. The lid does stay closed 98% of the time, which may have contributed to the issue. The stickers have been replaced and the plastic removed from the pump 1 intake, but I doubt the new stickers will last better than the original set (less than 1 year). Regretting the purchase due to these design issues. Own half of a great spa, pump 2 and all those seats work well.

    I decided to go with Marquis because of the layout of the inside of their hot tub. My experience is not exactly positive though. The jets are very, very strong. And while I can always keep them on lowest it can get, I don't like the LED that lits the buttons. It never goes out, ever. I called the place where I bought it and they said that it's only 10 minutes and I don't have to worry about it. But I hate it because I like it to be dark. The hot tub is out on my deck. Now, I have to have a washcloth covering it because it's so bright, I can't even get out of the tub because it's blinding me. It would be lovely if I could disengage that in some way. Apart from that issue, the Marquis has been a nice hot tub.

    Marquis' crew dropped the tub off in the patio, then I had to put it into place. Thus far, my favorite thing about my hot tub is the convenience of being on all the time. It has low energy usage and it takes minimal maintenance. Those are all big plusses. I’ve had a couple of little issues with the digital display, but the Marquis team has been quick to come out and take care of the issue.

    The technicians that they usually send out are friendly and they know what they are doing. They get the job done quickly. I’ve been happy with the Marquis tub.     The installation of the Marquis spa went good and the installers were friendly. The interactions that I’ve had with the Marquis team have been good for the most part. However, we have some air bubble concerns. The water level seems to be having more air bubbles than it should have. We are still dealing with the issue, but they have been in contact and the communication has been decent. On the other hand, my interactions with the retailer where I purchased the spa have been very poor, especially the customer service portion of it. It seemed to me like they just wanted to sell the Marquis spa, then wash their hands off any issues that we’ve been having.

    I owned a Marquis that was a much older model. I want the Marquis tub's quality that was why I went with them again. Every spa in the marketplace has its niche. Marquis definitely uses some quality components. But that's definitely not against any other competitors. Because literally, aside from looking at the shell, if you take a tub apart and look at all the parts individually, almost every manufacturer uses the exact same parts, and it’s just a different label on the outside of the box. It’s just Marquis builds stuff a little better.

    The guys who came to install the tub had all the cool dollies. They literally unloaded the tub from the truck, set it in position, and they were done in about 20 minutes. We use the tub at least three to four times a week, with the exception of when it’s -5 outside. Also, I bought a module for my tub to do the Wi-Fi control. It’s the same module that’s available for every other spa that’s made that has the Balboa controller on the top of the tub, which is about 80% of the market. It would be cool if the stores just stocked those, and if the store knew what they were. There’s a gap there in the marketplace. I had to go find it on Amazon, then tell my store what the part number was so they would order it for me.

    We purchased the Marquis spa 2 years ago. If you had asked my experience in the first 5 months of ownership I would have given glowing reviews. In fact I bragged about our purchase to our family and many friends. Then came Winter. We live in Canada. The first Winter the Microsilk pump froze and had to be replaced in the Spring. We were told by our dealer that they were in contact with Marquis about the situation and that this would be resolved. Then came the Winter of year 2. Once again the Microsilk pump froze.

    The resolution from Marquis was to install an anti-freeze klixon switch on the plumbing leading to the pump. This switch was plugged into an already existing circuit on the printed circuit board. The very existence of the clearly labeled circuit is an acknowledgment that Marquis knew that the freezing would be an issue. My anger, and frustration is that the response from Marquis is, “TOO BAD, SO SAD” and stuck us with the bill for labor and material. Not to worry. I know the value of social media. I’ll be letting the world know.

    All of our units are designed to work in cold climates but there is a limit on how cold it can get before the system can't keep up. All MFG's have the freeze protection port. The reason it is there is so customers and dealers can decide if the sensor is needed if they believe there is a chance that the unit will be in extremely cold conditions and it is widely available. 99% of our units do not require the additional sensor. We apologize this was not explained to you when you purchased your hot tub.

    We had a Marquis tub but we moved and we left it at our old house. We had a used tub at our new house that froze, then we bought a new Marquis tub since I’m familiar with it. I like the fact that they have a plastic base and it’s less prone to rotting so I got it for its durability and longevity, and they have a nice warranty too. Their dealer was great. They knew the product inside and out and they were very flexible in accommodating us with regards to navigating the purchase. There were complexities because it was an insurance claim and they were very, very helpful with that, too.

    The quality is good. However, the application is raw and a little lacking in features with the technology done on the WiFi piece. It would be nice to be able to get alarms. We live in Minnesota wherein the tub freezes and turns to garbage so you gotta throw it out and get an insurance claim and that’s very expensive. It’d be nice if they’d have battery back-up with alarm so if for some reason the tub started freezing, you get some kind of alert. Other than that, I like the products that they’ve designed. My only complaint with our spa right now is the noise level. This one seems a little bit noisy. I do engineering for a living and I deal with sound isolation mounts and I feel that it could’ve been assembled a little bit better, as far as isolating the pumps from the case to achieve a better sound isolation factor if you will.     I bought a Marquis tub. The people were alright and I do have Ryan as the person who installed the tub. I really like him. He knew what he was talking about, and he knew how to take care of it. He gave me lots of directions, so I appreciated him. When it comes to the tub, one thing that would have been nice would be to have wet tested it. When I went to where I bought it, they didn't have it available for wet testing. But I like two of the seats in the tub. I use it daily.     We’ve used several Marquis Spas over the years and my wife liked the design of the recent one. It had a seat that allows your heart to be out of the water, part of the time, and still be in the hot tub. The installation went smooth. We had an old hot tub that we just replaced so we didn’t do any wiring. However, we had an issue right off the bat with the display lighting and they had to come out and swap out the electronics that control the display. That was a warranty item and they took care of it.

    But it’s like pulling teeth to get them to come out. We told them what was wrong and they said they know how to fix it, but they can’t get out until two weeks from that Thursday. Also, even though my wife likes it, I think it’s a pretty low-quality hot tub. There’s not a bit of insulation in it. Most hot tubs have spray-on insulation and there was absolutely none, just the bare walls of the hot tub. That’s a sign of cheap manufacturing. They didn’t wanna go the extra mile to spray some foam on it. This is our fourth hot tub and all of the previous three had three inches of sprayed-on foam insulation. Other than that, we like to be in our tub, especially when the snow is flying.

    Our Marquis was a plug-and-play. We didn’t have to do any electrical and we were sure that the power was plenty. It also was really comfortable because we just wanted a small thing that will fit two to three people. We also asked if they had those ones that rotate and creates sort of a thumping on your back since my husband sometimes has a lower back problem. We put together an encasement and decking area where the techs put the tub in and it created a flat surface for them. They filled the tub for us. We came home and it was full, and we turned it on. It was pretty easy.

    However, I’m not a manual reader so I ended up having to read it to drain the tub. We've drained it twice since we got it and I just don’t know the frequency which we should be replacing the filter. I still keep spraying it out with a really pointed sprayer and then we have a recipe for the chemicals. The only thing I wish I would have done is to have that somehow. I know there’s the ability to do that automatically if we have purchased one that it would do it itself.We didn’t do that because I always worry that I’m overchlorinating, underchlorinating, it’s the time for this, it’s the time for that.

    I do have the test strips and that helps. But that’s the only thing that kind of is a hassle and it’s not that big a one. I’m just worried that I'm doing it right and making sure that the tub is gonna last a long time. Other than that, we use the tub two to three times a week. My husband and I both golf and we do in the winter. I would go out in 39 degrees and it would end up being 54. But not only the muscle from turning your back and but being cold, coming home after golf and going in, is just exactly why we purchased the tub and it's is doing great for that.

    I have been quite happy with Marquis Spas. I previously had a hot tub that came with the rental property and when it failed, we had to get a new one as we had some renters coming in that will be very disappointed if there wasn't a hot tub. My hot tub installer recommended Marquis and I think they managed to convince the hot tub installers that it was the brand to go with so, I just went along with it. My property is in Lake Tahoe and the installation was managed by my hot tub installer. It happened faster than expected. It went so well that we did not disappoint the renters. Marquis tub has been very reliable and the renters of the house love the spa as well.     We have had all kinds of hot tubs, and we like Marquis a lot. We did not like any other body's hot tubs around. There used to be hot tubs stores on every corner, but now there's not. I didn't like to go out and buy something that I can't see and touch. Marquis is comfortable and its a nice hot tub. Their team at the Marquis provider was excellent too. Every time we had a question, they'd find the answer and get back to us as soon as they could. It wasn't very long.

    The installation, however, was a little bit of a struggle. I explained to them where it was gonna go, then they said that wasn't a standard delivery because they had to push it up five steps onto the deck. But, they were able to get it done. The owner of the place was good, and our hot tub came about two or three weeks early. Also, the only thing that I don't like about the tub is that the access panel to the pump vibrates. So, I've had to take a couple of pieces of cardboard and stick it in there, but sometimes it still vibrates. Other than those, the tub is good and we were just in it last night again.

    I like Marquis' spas. They have the one that actually fits best in the space that I have available. I like the fact that they're local too.     When we bought our house, we had a hot tub that came with it. It's a very old hot tub, which we eventually decided to replace. But we didn't have any brand in mind. We wanted a certain design and it happened that Marquis was the brand that matched that way. The hot tub that appealed to us has several seats, and then the seat that you recline in did not go all the way across the spa, so you're able to have someone lay down on one side and another person sit on the same side versus losing a whole side for one person.

    The company I bought it from gave me all the dimensions on what I needed to do. They then recommended a certain electrician. So installing it went very smoothly. They have then called me a couple different times just to check on us and see how we're doing. There was a problem with the walls and they contacted me before I even saw a wall warping. They're on top of everything. So far, we use the hot tub once or twice a week. We use it for relaxing the body and to relieve a lot of fatigue.     I've had good experience with my Marquis tub. Marquis was one of the few brands at the store I went to. I was looking for a smaller unit, 120 volts, and that one just fit the bill. I've had the tub for 15 months now and it's great. However, it's a little awkward getting into the drain hose if I'm gonna empty the hot tub and refill it. It'd be nice to have a little door that could just open and close. Also, the tiny rocks that settle on the bottom were hard to get out. But I'm sure there are accessories that could suck them up. The GFCI would also trip every time I'd start up the hot tub but I had that fixed under warranty effectively to replace the main board. Their reps have been responsive, timely and helpful. They solved the problem, too.

    I've had a good experience with Marquis Spas and the people that I bought it from were excellent. They attempted to repair my other spa and they couldn't. Some of the fittings were in places where they could actually not get to. They tried three times to stop the leaks and I said, "Okay, enough with this. What I would like to do is I would like to buy a new spa from you guys." Thereafter, we made a date to go over to Marquis.

    We went over there to Redding from where we live, which was 50 miles west of Redding California and found what we wanted. I talked to them, and they said they would knock off the $700 I owed them for the attempt at repairing our previous spa. I told them that they just made themselves a deal and asked when can we have it delivered, which they answered. The follow-through on it was very good after we got it in. Theresa from Marquis called me several times to find out if we were satisfied and pleased with it, and everything went very well.

    Though we've used a different brand previously, the Marquis spa is better. This is the second Marquis I've had. When we were in Oregon, I bought one up there and we're very satisfied with it. We've used the Marquis Spas up there in Oregon for five years. Now, it's been a year down here in Northern California. With this recent installation, the first thing they did was removed the old spa that leaked around on all of the fittings. They showed up at the door with a truck and a dolly. They set it up and told me to go ahead and fill it full of water and hit the switch. They also told me what to expect and drove away. It was that simple and I was very satisfied with them.

    We saw the Marquis display at the Alameda County fair and liked it. We purchased the tub in August of 2017 and our buying experience was very good. One example of many things that went very well was when we had an unusual situation with the de-installation of our old tub and the installation of the new one. But the reps were extremely accommodating and we were able to work out a schedule. I also appreciate their knowledge and resourcefulness in doing the kind of custom installation we needed. It gave me a lot of confidence that it would go well and it did. Everything went very smoothly with that process.

    I use the tub frequently for relaxation and for muscle therapy. But there were a few different features that I had to learn more and more for the first few months. Also, it would be helpful if it had a clock. That way, the filtering could be scheduled arbitrarily throughout the day rather than having to synchronize it with the power cycle of the tub. Still, the quality of the tub is very good and I'm pleased with it.

    We bought this house and the other jacuzzi was old. It was leaking and because it had foam, you couldn't find the leak. We got this Marquis spa because the salesperson said it was one of the newer, better spas. It also looked real nice. It looked sturdy and strong. It seemed like it would last. But I was frustrated because we wanted to use it but it was filled with white seals. There are knobs you turn to adjust the filters and the pressure on different jets, and on the inside, there are little white covers that keep the water. I guess the white seals were seals that kept cracking. But it shouldn’t crack within the first three months of the machine. If I would have known that, I probably wouldn't have bought the thing. I spent $10,000 on that machine. Plus it was annoying because one would break then when you turn the jet on, the water would be spurting out from where you have the knobs. Maybe I just got a lemon.

    The salesman had also sold me on the fact that he was gonna be very helpful in terms of customer service. But now, it's hard to really have him help me. I think he just moved on. He had come and fixed all those things. It seemed like every single one of the seals was breaking and he just decided to replace all of them. Still, I like the Marquis. It's is a nice jacuzzi and they have nice covers. I like the jets and foot massager on my machine. The color of it is also really different than what the other vendors had. It has this marble look and you're able to buy different steps or surrounding things for it.

    Marquis was our first hot tub. My wife did a lot of reviews and Marquis was the one that came in with the best reviews - the amount of jets, the way the positioning is and the tub to the lighting. We loved the first tub. It was an absolute wonderful hot tub to have. But with the second tub that we ordered, we had nothing but problems with it since we got it last October. The heater had burned out and within a month, it has burned out again. We’ve put in a call after hours and left a message but they never called us back. We’re not going to be too critical because it’s the holiday season but I do need to call them again to have somebody come out so we can enjoy the hot tub.

    The second hot tub that we’ve had wasn’t the greatest but I’m sure we’ll get it running again. We’re having problems with it because we haven’t been home. We haven’t had the time to use it and we haven’t been diligent on contacting Premiere Hot Tubs to have them come back. So, I’m blaming a lot of it on myself for not having someone out there. Nonetheless, it is a wonderful hot tub when it is working. I really love our hot tub.

    We like the spa features of Marquis Spas, particularly the jets. We've had them as our hot tub provider for a year now and it has been okay with them so far. It’s our first experience with a spa, so we’re still feeling it out. We’re still trying to decide if we like the chemicals or not, because there are some options available. Our interaction was with the retailer that provides our monthly service with our spa, so our interaction with Marquis was indirect. I do all of the wiring for the hot tubs of Marquis in Denver, Colorado as a third party electrician, so I got my hot tub from them. I installed it and that worked out fine.     I purchased my Euphoria in Maryland. I have had my Marquis Euphoria since 2005. It has been flawless. Seating arrangement gives many options on depth and jetting. This is great because the four of us vary in height by nearly 6". Easy maintenance. Doesn't cool down in the dead of winter while in use. And has not a had a single service call.     We really love the Marquis spa. This is a totally different hot tub than our last one or even the one before. The seating is better and it's a bigger one, then the number of jets is better. Everything is different. The last one we had wasn't the same type at all and it wasn't even in the same class. The local service is the whole reason we bought it locally and that's the brand that they marketed. The people that installed it were excellent.

    We had a problem with the control panel, it almost bubbled. It was like there was cardboard underneath it, and there was water on it all the time. It was unusual. We called the company we bought it from and they were great. However, we had to pay for it and it was a little frustrating as we felt like the control panel should've been warrantied. This was something that clearly is a defect in the spa we have. For the control panel to be able to get fluid inside there, is a default. But they did the research, they figured out what the problem was, and they ordered the part for us. We just had to go pick it up, and unfortunately, pay for it. My husband replaced the control panel and it was fine. Overall, we're very satisfied.

    We have a local Marquis vendor that lives close by. The tub doesn't match up to the Hot Spring, which cost an extra $2,500, but we figured it would just be fine even though the jets have little less power than we expected. It was nice to find a smaller option that was also shorter. It’s a Vector and it’s the smallest of the Vector tubs. I like that it’s low so it’s easy to climb into and you don’t feel like you’re sitting down in a hole.

    The guy who installed the hot tub was awesome. He explained everything and he went through all of the controls. He had to do something with the cord which left a little bit of exposure in the back and told us how to protect it from packrats, which we get in Arizona. However, it would be nice if Marquis has something available that we're able to plug into a regular outlet - a 110 versus having to convert it to 220. But we use the tub a few times a week and it helps with the sore muscles. It's also emotionally therapeutic. It’s very peaceful and calm in there. We have the view of the mountains out of our back patio so it's very spa-like. I am happy with the experience.

    We went in, looked at what we wanted, and the Marquis was exactly what we wanted. We had gotten a really good deal for it and the people that sold it to us were great. We're satisfied with the installation. I wanted it to have real jets, so we ran a 220. The installers were very professional and they let us film all the things they were showing us. I like the hot tub's quality. I like everything about it but the side is so hard for us to get off and on. We have to open it to get to the drain. They should make those sides easier to get to or make the drain valve easier to get to. Replacing the filters was really easy though.

    The installation of the tub was good. There was some broken part in it but they fixed it right away. I love the hot tub. I use it everyday, every morning, in the dark, at 6:00 in the morning, and do a little gratitude practice, and sit outside in the hot tub, and then I start my day. So, it's perfect. I would tell others to buy one. The only thing I don't like about it is the fake wood on the outside and Marquis didn't have any options. I wish that there was an option for real wood as an aesthetic on the outside. In fact, we are likely going to have a wood cover, exterior made for it ‘cause I just think that the plastic wood looks cheap. Maybe they should change it to real plastic or real wood, but not plastic wood. Otherwise, I think it's awesome. And Marquis was local, in Oregon, that was why I went to them.

    Patio Pools down here in Arizona has been around for 40 years and they sell Marquis Spas. The tub's lights and the waterfall stood out to me. The installers were here for five hours and did a really good job. We use it about once a week and we just go out and jump in because the heater is on all the time in this tub. We were told that pump number 2 had two speeds, which would’ve have been really nice, but it has just one. The Marquis is a pretty good spa though.

    We went online and looked at a lot of consumer reports on people having issues with some other spa brands and Marquis had the least problems out of the majority of these brands. Then, we went through a dealer in Bend, Oregon to purchase a Marquis spa. They knew what they were talking about and we had a good interaction with them. They gave us plenty of information and the price point was right on it. The installation team came, installed the tub where I told them, and did all the wiring on it.

    Our hot tub is nice and we are happy with it. With a lot of the spas that people buy, some stuff start to go wrong with them after about a year. But we've had our Marquis spa for a year now and we've had a good experience with it so far. After we've had this spa for another year or two, we can tell people that its longevity has been good too.

    I was under the impression that most of these tubs are built in Oregon, so if something were to go wrong, it would be nice to have somebody close here in Oregon and not have some spa built all the way across the country. Marquis also gave us a bunch of gift cards for buying chemicals when going to the store. A lot of the guys of the other spa brands were like car salesmen and they tried to sell us a bunch of crap, whereas the Marquis guys were straight and cut-and-dried on what we were getting and what they wanted right down to the dollar. We had a pleasant experience with Marquis Spas and I like them.

    The Marquis hot tub we have now is smaller than what we had previously. The jets aren't quite strong as the bigger one was. But we only have it hooked up to a 110 right now. All the problems we had was because I wasn't doing something right on maintaining and keeping it clean. But other than that, it's been all right. I check the tub for at least three times a week for the chemicals. I also have to put shock in it once every two weeks, depending how much we use it. I had to contact the place where we bought the hot tub from because it's been shutting off by itself, but they're gonna come out and look at it. That's the only problem we've had with it. It's a good hot tub. We've had it for a year now and we use it two times a week on the average.

    I have been using my Marquis Spa tub for two seasons. I use it twice a month. I was mostly satisfied when the tub was installed as there were some things that took a little longer than expected. They were required to draw a power source when you call an electrician in the middle of the night to get them out there because it would drop to below freezing. If we didn’t do that, then it would’ve destroyed the hot tub. In spite of that, I'd tell a friend that Marquis Spa is a good value hot tub.

    We're having a house built and our contractor works for the dealer in Bend. Marquis was highly recommended. We've had it for 10 months now and we're liking it very much. I like the upper back jets and then the laydown bench. I can always lay in there after I've been skiing or mountain biking. The reps at Marquis have been very good too. When we had a problem with one of the adjustable air things that locked up and snapped, the guy that came out to service it said that Marquis had an issue with that and instead of just fixing the one, he replaced all of them. I appreciated the fact that they recognized the issue and fixed it all at once instead of waiting for all the calls. Still, I'm learning my way around it. It's a learn as you go kind of thing as to how do you wanna adjust your air and which jets are on and what switch. But the Marquis people have been very responsive whenever I had questions, and so is the dealer.

    The installers of our Marquis spa were outstanding. We do not like that the cover for the filter does not have any weight to it though, so it floats off any time the water level pushes it off the top of the filter. If we get a couple people in there, the water level goes up and then that cover floats off. If it latched down or sat up higher in the hot tub, that would be a better design. If it floats off, we just take it off until we get out and put it back on.

    Also, it’s not easy to figure out which knobs operate which jets. Our previous hot tub is designed that the jets were on with the knob that it adjusted. So it was easy to determine if we were on the north side of the spa and the jets are on the north side of the spa, use the knob on the north side of the spa. This one is not designed like that and the manual does not give a description as to which knob runs which jets. So a solution to the problem would be if the manual would say this knob controls these jets. Otherwise, when we’re in there, we just turn the knobs until we get it to work where we want it to. Other than that, there are a ton of jets in the tub and they are fabulous.

    The tub that we purchased before was the cream of the crop at that time and this Marquis has outperformed what we purchased before. The filtering system with this spa is easier to take care of than the previous spa and my family fully believe that they are medical devices. Two of the four of us have migraine headaches and it is fabulous to get in the spa when you have a migraine headache. The pressure on the back of the neck and the back of the head from the jets is fabulous along with the water temperature, helps relax. The other two of us both have muscle and musculoskeletal problems and both of them get in the tub for the simple relief of pain. Plus, there is the pressure aspect of kids that are in it a lot with friends. If you want your house to be the hub of entertainment, you wanna know what your kids are doing and you know that they’re safe, you need a spa at your house. Everybody wants to come to your house.

    We really like our Marquis hot tub. We get in it quite a bit. I just wish they would’ve told us how to handle the flushing of the pipes so that we didn’t get the debris set in there that took us forever to get out. We called the people and they told us that we had to drain it and keep doing that to the chunks of stuff out. That was disappointing. Other than that, we like everything and I would recommend it.

    From the research and looking up Marquis Spas, I went ahead with it due to the availability and pricing. The people we bought the tub from installed it and they were great. They were in and out. Dealing with the Marquis Spas' representatives was very good too. They were efficient. But the monthly service is my concern because someone was supposed to be here yesterday. They told me that they were here and I had no idea that they had come by. They have one guy who’s really good and one guy who’s okay. I don’t know if he was here yesterday. They should leave a sticker or a note to say what they did. I’ve asked them to do that before but they don’t do that. But when two of the panels were warped, they replaced those. There was moisture in the display and they replaced that. It’s a good tub. We use it once or twice a week and it works well. We like it.

    Marquis Spas was what was available at the dealership in Brainerd. I went over there and a Marquis tub was on display. I liked it and so I went for it. Thereafter, the customer service reps whom I dealt with were easy to work with. When the time came for the tub to be installed, the team who came out had to do it in winter time. The tub was a tight fit for where it had to go and it had to go through a couple of doorways. They did an excellent job setting that up. This is the fourth tub I've had and I don't feel the jets are quite as strong as what I had on my other tub. Still, I know what to expect with Marquis.

    I like the quality of the hot tub of Marquis itself. The acrylic was the thickest one I’ve seen, the style of it, the durability that I had reviewed from other people online. It’s just an awesome hot tub. My husband installed it himself and did all the wiring. He was very pleased with how easy it was. We use the tub every day and I like that it’s hot, but it could be hotter. But I know they couldn’t do it any hotter. I also wish they could come out with different accessories that I could add to it, like a shelf or bar tops and stuff like that that I could actually mount on. But they were awesome.     I purchased a $16,000 Marquis Euphoria. It was expensive but the research I did recommended them because of where the jets were located and each seat was different. My orthopedic surgeon said that the warm water would be beneficial so I bought it. I knew I wanted a Marquis Euphoria with MicroSilk and I wanted the lights. I knew the size of steps I wanted and I knew the color and the color of the cover. I didn’t have to look at it. I knew exactly what I wanted and they found it. Then, they delivered it and everything was great for about 12 months. About the one year mark, two of the knobs broke. We weren’t rough with them at all. Then, the filters wouldn’t suction. I was just not very pleased. Then, we had the circuit board replaced, some kind of heater sensor.

    I keep it at 100 degrees year around and I couldn’t use it for several months because the vendor in Lynchburg was trying to talk me through what was going on because some of the jets were not functioning. If I cut on jet one, it would not go to full capacity. It would go strong and then when I hit it again, it would back up. What I didn’t know is that when the water is trying to heat, that it goes straight to full out. But the water shouldn’t have been heating because the cover had been on it for three weeks. They said to try to take the filters out and I did but I didn’t think that it was that issue.

    The dealer told me how to clean the filters because they thought they were clogged up as far as why that wouldn’t circulate. And I really wanted them to come down and check it out and the whole issue was there was gonna be a service call. I didn’t care. I bought a $16,000 spa. A $50 service call is not a big deal. But they didn’t come down which is whatever.

    They told me how to take out the things and I bought a solution because they told me what to buy. I bought it and soaked it, sprayed the filter, and then left it out. Then, I ran the jet and it still didn’t go to full capacity. The water had been flushed out, everything was clean. They didn’t know what was going on. I’ve been trying for about two weeks to get them down there. And they finally said they were gonna be in the area on a Friday but they didn’t come. So, the following Thursday, they called my cellphone and kinda hit me wrong. They said they were gonna be down in the area on Friday and I said that was what I was told last week as well. I just got frustrated. I had been dealing with that for about three weeks. It was the dead of winter and I couldn’t use my spa at all. I haven’t been able to use in over a month. Once I open the cover, I can use it. But it’s at 90 degrees and it drops like five degrees every five minutes because it’s not heating.

    They finally came down and apparently, the circuit board heater thing had to be replaced. They left a note on my front door saying what they did. They replaced the circuit board but there was no charge. I went back outside and the cover was down. I’ve got one of them Marquis covers. Also, my two filters were laying beside it on the patio. I’ve got concrete under it. It was just laying there so I didn’t think they were done. I called them and asked if they were coming back because apparently it was not done.

    I called and they finally put me in touch with the owner in Lynchburg and he called the people. They said it was fixed and I asked about the water temperature and why the jet side was not functioning. He said that the water temperature should be rising. It was blank when they left. I said that makes more sense because the water clearly wasn’t heating. It just hit me wrong that they made a trip down here and it appeared that it wasn’t finished because my two filters are laying out in the open air, on the patio, and the cover was down. I didn’t think they were done and it was mid-afternoon. I wanted to make sure they had finished it before they headed back to Lynchburg.

    This is year one and a half for the highest-end spa they had that I purchased. It’s kind of disconcerting that you spend that much money and it breaks. I realize that’s no one’s fault, but I don’t use it that often. It has a cover on it. It’s in an area that gets shade. So, it’s not like the sun’s baking in the summer. If I could get it back to them and get a different one, I probably would have. But nobody wants a used $16,000 spa.
