I enjoyed working with LL Flooring very well. I liked the fact that I had a local store and they were online. I was able to do a combo between looking online to see what I wanted then calling and conversing with them to ensure they got the order correct. The quality of the product is good. The only thing is what I ordered didn't come with an installation instruction. It was kind of assumed that if you ordered this, you know what you were doing. It could have helped if it had had some type of additional information provided other than just the product information.

Their website was very helpful because they have the feature where I can put pieces of my home with the new flooring. I like that part very well because I can see how it's gonna look with different pieces of the floor. I bought the products online and they called me when my order arrived. It was very easy.

They were very professional. The only thing that my family had a concern about was that we had to pay everything, including the labor, before installing all the products. It was our first time using them and we were very skeptical. None of my friends use LL Flooring so I wasn't sure and usually, we pay after the service is completed. But the store manager was communicating and they quickly got back to us to ensure that the installation service will be completed very quick. Also, when they found out that we were trying to hurry up and get it done, they expedited the services for us to pick up the products. Initially, it was going to take about two weeks but we picked up the products within the same week. It was very nice of them. Then, the gentleman who did the installation, Lucas, did a great job and he was very approachable. I'm very happy how they took care of us. LL Flooring is the easiest group of people that I worked with.

Some of LL Flooring's website features are neat, like looking at it on your phone, being able to see it in your room. That's a really good feature that helps with choosing the color. Also, it's a convenient location so we can pick the flooring up. We don't have to pay shipping. And the quality of the floor itself was decently rated. It was a good price for a decent floor. I had an installer and estimator come out. LL Flooring offers installation. They subcontracted out to another group. But they sent the person out to do the estimate and his name is on the estimate. I was pleased with the customer service. They're not pushy, which is good. The reps called and checked if I received my estimate from them for installation. Overall, it was a simple and pleasant experience.

I got new flooring installed in April 2021. By July my vinyl planks began separating. Contacted the installer who came out to glue them back together (despite glue not even being used at all on the floors) and just a few weeks later it began separating again. I have SEVERAL locations on our flooring where the planks are separating. Keep in mind our entire first floor was redone (3 rooms, a bathroom and a hallway). Made a claim with corporate on October 4th and have yet to receive a call back or email, despite SEVERAL calls and emails on my side. Was told 48-72 hours for a call back!!

Please don't use this company. Corporate doesn't care. They got almost $5k from us and our floors are even worse than the original floors we had. Very disappointed in the lack of communication, saddened that financially we can't afford more new floors, and overall disgusted that customers are treated this way! Despite a warranty, it did us no good. Stay far far away from LL Flooring and their list of "installers" who didn't show up on time, nor do a professional job.

When I ordered from LL Flooring, I got a call that my order was in and that I could schedule a pick-up for whenever I needed. I purchased some three-quarter-inch hardwood and some luxury vinyl plank but I bought the vinyl plank at a separate time. I called the store and spoke to the representative for a long time. He texted me a photo of some of the samples because my samples had not come in from the warehouse yet. He went above and beyond and I was very happy with the service. I've also used LL Flooring in a previous property and I was very happy with it. Their website's great. I used the "see this floor in your home" feature for a bunch of different flooring and it helped us make a decision.

I got a Tacoma Oak hybrid laminate flooring from LL Flooring. I thought they were closed down. The next time I went with my friend that bought 12 boxes of the vinyl flooring, they had this great sign, LL Flooring, which was awesome. A guy that works there, Jacob, is a huge asset to LL Flooring. He's great in customer service. I've been with the airlines for 34 years in customer service and I really appreciate someone like him. He's awesome. Everybody's so nice. They don't talk down to you. They answer your stupid questions, even if you ask it a couple of times. The flooring that I got is seven millimeters with pad. It looks like real wood, only I'm glad it isn't real wood. This stuff is waterproof. If water would get on it, you just wipe it down. It doesn't hardly scratch. I love it. It's amazing. I'm installing it and it's that easy. I have my daughter looking into doing it within the next year.

Issues with Donnie ** Install: (Customer Number: **)

    1. On Tuesday, August 3rd of the install. We were awaken when we heard loud yelling and very vulgar language in our home. Upon investigating, we found the installers inside our home yelling at each other. When I asked what was happening, we were told they knocked on the door, no one answered, they tried the door, it was unlocked (which it was because my wife had gone for a walk, while the rest of us were still in bed), so they figured we had left the door open for them to come in and go to work. This presents several problems. One, you don't enter someone's home uninvited. They could have called to wake us or waited a few minutes. Two, we were told an adult over the age of 18 needed to be present at all times. Nevertheless, they came into the house not knowing if anyone was present at all.

    2. The installers decided to mix the leveling agent, (concrete/floater) material directly outside of my front door. Apparently there was a hole in the bucket that leaked on the sidewalk, porch and entry way inside the house. I was told it would be cleaned up, however they only cleaned up the entry way in the house, leaving a streak across the sidewalk and porch. They also left what spilled in the grass, which hardened leaving a large area of concrete in my front yard. After reporting this issues, Jerry ** told me they would come and clean it up, but never did.

    3. There was an area in our bathroom that had some rotten wood where the installers needed to place baseboard. Instead of informing me, they attempted to attach the baseboard to the rotten wood. Of course, as soon as we opened the cabinet door above the rotten wood and baseboard area, the baseboard fell off, broke and caused more damage to the cabinet area. Instead of attempting to attach baseboard to the rotten wood, we should have been informed of the rotten wood.

    4. There was a large opening left in the wall behind the toilet where a pipe goes into the wall and down into the foundation. This caused an absolute infestation of large roaches and water bugs. We literally killed dozens of bugs, and had to spray roach spray down into the hole repeatedly to prevent more bugs from coming in.

    5. When the installers left on Thursday, August 5th, an air compressor was left in the house. We contacted LL Flooring to let them know. Lupe then called me to inform me, that wasn't their compressor, but they had found it in our garage and used it. It was a contractor's who is working on our garage, who was not there when it was borrowed. So, equipment was borrowed, without asking permission, and then left in the middle of our living room.

    6. We asked Lupe if they were going to mop the floors once they completed the install, he told me all they do is sweep up the dust. Well, they swept, but did not clean up any of the flooring. Thus, we had to spend the next two days cleaning the floors, which were left in a mess! There was a sticky substance on the floor throughout the house that we had to scrub off. Our house was left in the most filthy state it has been in, since we moved in.

    7. Our refrigerator was pulled too far away from the wall, causing the water line to bend and break. Once the refrigerator was put back in place the line began leaking slowly behind a cabinet. After a few days we began to notice water coming up from under our flooring. Upon investigation we found the broken line that had been leaking for one full week. I contacted a plumber who through Facetime showed me how to turn off the valve. We discovered the water on Thursday, August 12th.

We immediately contacted LL Flooring the following morning, on August 13th, who immediately contacted Jerry ** from the install company, Hubbard Flooring. I also submitted photos to the store and Hubbard Flooring of the water damage. Jerry told us he would get a plumber to come out and fix the line, and would send a different crew to come out, pull up the flooring so it could dry and get the problem fixed. On Saturday, August 14th, Jerry called to say he couldn't get a plumber out until Monday.

On Monday, August 16th, Jerry called to inform me he still had not gotten a plumber but was working on it. On Tuesday, August 17th, Jerry sent his brother, who is not a plumber nor does he work for Hubbard Flooring, out to look at the plumbing issue. He was not able to find the valve to turn the water line to the refrigerator, my wife had to call me, so I could tell him what the valve looked like. His assessment, though he is not a plumber, was the line needed to be replaced and there was mold forming from the water leak. He then left.

We did not hear anything else from the installers or Jerry, until Friday, August 20th, when we were told someone would be out Monday morning at 8 AM to fix the plumbing issue and the flooring. Monday morning, August 23, at 9:45 AM, Lupe, the installer who initially worked on our flooring, called to say he was late and would be at our house by 10:20. First of all, we were told by Jerry himself that he would not send Lupe out again. Secondly, he was over two hours late. Lupe also informed me he would be the one fixing the plumbing line.

I then contacted the office and Jerry personally, because I was told Lupe would not be back out, and a plumber would fix the issue. Jerry told me his brother told him it was an easy fix and there was no damage, which contradicted what he told us. Again, someone who is not a plumber gave advice on this matter. In fact, there was and is damage, and he even told us there was mold and damage when he came to inspect the problem.

Jerry then argued with me, trying to convince me I should let Lupe, again, not a plumber, fix the line. I told him he should make good on his promise to get a plumber out to fix the issue. Eventually he relented and the company called a plumber. However, in process, he tried to tell me, "Accidents Happen". Yes, accidents do happen, however, when installers have accidents, they fix those mistakes. The installers did not fix any of the mistakes they made, until I called, complained, and even argued with Jerry. Mistakes do happen, however, when mistakes are not fixed, the situation now involves negligence.

Jerry also told me the reason he didn't have a plumber come out was because the plumber would not call him back. Thus blaming the plumber for why Jerry had not made good on getting a plumber out to fix the line. I then asked him why he hadn't communicated that with me. He then blamed the office for not informing me. He also defended his installers and Lupe, for the broken line, saying it wasn't their fault. When I asked whose fault it was, he told me it was due to us having copper line and not a flex hose. So, he blamed us for the leak.

Once Lupe arrived to pull up the flooring damaged from the water leak, he tried to convince me to let him fix the plumbing issue, saying Jerry would force him to pay for the cost of a plumber. I told Lupe, that was an issue between him and Jerry, not me. I later overhead Lupe talking to Jerry on the phone saying, "I tried Jerry! I tried to tell him I could fix it!" Lupe said this repeatedly. I was standing in the room during conversation, so I wasn't eavesdropping, I was just listening to all of this unfold. So apparently, Jerry was trying once again to get Lupe to convince me to let him fix the plumbing issue.

As the flooring was being pulled back up in the kitchen, I took pictures and video of the damaged sheetrock and counters from Jerry, that was due to the water leak. Jerry finally agreed to call a plumber out, who found an enormous amount of water damage to the walls, sheetrock, flooring, and cabinets. He showed me wet insulation in the walls. Together we called Jerry ** because a water restoration company needed to come out and dry out the walls to prevent mold from forming. This is all still on Monday, August 23.

The restoration company came out and assessed the cost would be $1900 to dry out the walls. Once we called Jerry ** for him to approve drying out the walls, he hung up on us after shouting, “$1900 Dollars!” We tried repeatedly to call him and text him to get the approval for the restoration company to begin drying out the walls, but he would never answer the phone.

Later that night, about 4 hours later, he texted me saying his phone had died (Conveniently after hearing the cost of the drying process) and that he was no longer going to work on my floor or fix any of the damages. He informed me he would turn it over to his insurance company. Thus, on August 23, I was told by LL Flooring and Hubbard Flooring they would no longer work on my floor or fix any of the issues they had caused.

On Tuesday, August 24, I contacted the corporate office of LL Flooring and was told by Chris, the agent in charge of my case, that LL Flooring was not responsible for any damages caused during the install, nor would they take responsibility or pay to have anything fixed. Thus, LL Flooring will take your money, but they will not take responsibility for anything that happens. They just pass the responsibility off to the installer, which in my case, has refused to do anything.

Also on Tuesday, August 24th, I received a text from the office of Hubbard Flooring and was told their insurance company “would contact me in a day or two” about the issues. By Friday, three days later, on August 27th, I had not heard from anyone, so I contacted Chris in the corporate office of LL Flooring once again. He told me Hubbard Flooring had not filed an insurance claim, but he was forcing them to do so. As of October 12, 2021, the job has not been completed, nor has anyone taken any responsibility for the damages. Do not use this company under any circumstances!

We just bought a new house in Delaware and I'm replacing the carpeting in the bedrooms. I've been buying from LL Flooring for years but they have been less than desirable. They didn't have the flooring samples I needed. I was ordering the last few boxes of one of the floorings and I couldn't see it because the only box they had was in Delaware. I wasn't gonna drive two hours to look at a stock. So I expected it to come. They said, "Oh, you'll have this in three or four days." But it took almost three weeks. And I had ordered the flooring, thank God it was something I wanted because the other ones I had ordered samples of and found out that they were a glue down laminate rather than a snap together one. So I'm glad that I got samples. But it took an incredibly long time to get them. But the sales reps in both stores I've dealt with and online have been incredible. My guys here in Glen Burnie and the guy in Delaware have been incredible to deal with.

I got an estimate from LL Flooring for the flooring that we wanted as well as the installation. I ended up just ordering the product itself online. It was on sale and that helped. We got the product sooner than when we needed it, which was awesome. We hired someone to do the installation as that was much cheaper. But I have to wait for my contractor to be freed up so the installation won't be until the end of the month. If we like the flooring well enough, we are gonna purchase the same thing and expand it in the house. On the whole, LL Flooring did whatever they needed to do and they tried to accommodate me no matter which way I went.

I purchased vinyl flooring online and it was easy to do that. The only complaint I have is that when I placed the order, it was supposed to be picked up because they showed that it was available at Pomona location. When I was on my way to pick it up, I called to let them know that I was on my way. They told me that they only had two boxes. So, they told me that the order wasn't to be picked up there. It was to be picked up at the Rancho location. It was just not the location that I thought I had placed the order. I don't know if they automatically moved the order to whoever has more in stock.

That was very inconvenient for me. I live in Clermont, but the problem is not so much the distance. It's the time because of the traffic. I had to take like two hours lunch to be able to go and come back, drop the product off at the house, and go back to work. I was under the impression that I had to go pick it up at a different location. Everything else was good.

We went first to look at cabinets, and then we saw that LL Flooring was right next door. We walked over there originally, and then we weren't ready to purchase in store at that time, so we just placed an order online later when we got home. It was easy to find the products on the website. I was looking for white stair risers and there were quite a few products that didn't have the imagery just yet. But I was able to go into the product details and confirm that they were white and the exact color and if it was finished in the top left bottom or right.

I got the painted poplar riser and they were much better than what I thought. Right now we're in the middle of a home renovation, and those were really hard to find, and LL Flooring was the only one that had them in stock. I think most people didn't order them because there wasn't a product image, and they didn't know what it was. But I kinda got lucky and they were able to get them pretty quickly for me so it was really nice.

We went to the store in a week or two. That day they were doing some water pressure treatment outside the store, so they were cleaning up, but they were so friendly. The people who were working there were making sure that people came in and out of the door safely and that they didn't trip on the water. They were able to get our order. We pulled up to the back and picked it up quickly. They helped us get it into the car. It was a great service.

I ordered laminate flooring online and the website was super simple to go through. What I like is that I can add my flooring in, see what it looks like with the colors the site has, and take a picture of the room. It helps me match a lot easier than going into the store and actually looking at it, and then trying to put a phone up next to it. It works a lot better. Just make sure to take the picture of the room in good lighting, and then add the flooring in. The sales representatives were quick with getting the email. They called and left a voicemail and let me know that my order was ready to pick up.

The quality of the flooring is really good. The only thing I didn't like is that I just bought flooring that had the pad on the back because I was putting it in a basement with a vapor barrier down. But on a lot of the boards, it wasn't even, so I knew it was the manufacturing sheets. A lot of the times, I was having to go in and take off little slices of the bottom because it would start on a perfect angle and then go up, and I assumed that was the way it was laid on and cut because I knew that they make it on a larger board and then cut the pieces to fit. But once everything was installed, it turned out perfect. LL Flooring's products are better than what's offered at the big-box stores, like the price points. I just take my time and wait until something goes on sale that I want.

I purchased from LL Flooring the Saint Germain Oak vinyl plank flooring online and I picked it up at East Brunswick. But I went to look at it at Union. They didn't have enough there because we just had the flood in New Jersey and a lot of the waterproof flooring was low in stock. So, I would have to have to go to two locations. I went to the showroom and they explained everything to me as well as other kinds of flooring and the underlayment. There was some confusion though when I called customer service. Since I purchased online, they told me I would need to come down there for whatever reason and verify the credit card first. I was going away on vacation and when I called back the next day, the other person told me that the contractor could come and pick it up. But the customer service at the store was good and the manager was very knowledgeable.

I have a condo so the flooring was installed everywhere except the bathroom and the kitchen. I'm very happy with it. You would have to know that it's vinyl. It looks much better quality than it is and it looks very good. The texture makes it look like it’s a little bit natural which was what I liked about it. The flooring has a 10-year warranty and it is waterproof, which was why I got it. I would recommend LL Flooring. People should see it at the showroom and then either purchase it there or online.

When I originally placed the order, I figured it was gonna take a week or two to get the products from LL Flooring. But now, we're going on three weeks and I want to see how long it takes to get this. I was supposed to get the products from LL Flooring in two to three days and I was glad when I was told that. About 10 days into it, they called me and they were going to bring it the next day. But I'm bedridden and I live alone. I can't get up, I can't move and my legs don't work. So, I can't do it. I don't have anybody here who could check it in for me for the next day.

I have a guy who lives here who works evenings and I asked LL Flooring to try to give me the soonest appointment they could that would be in the morning. So they're supposed to bring it on Saturday between 11:00 and 12:00. It’s been a long wait now and the guy had to take off work to do this. So he's gonna wait till noon. In deliveries before, people would say they were going to be here at a certain time, and they would show up four or five hours later. If that happens, I'm gonna cancel the whole order and ask for a refund. So, they will have to be here on time.

Everyone at the LL Flooring store was wonderful. I had rented my house out and the tenant ended up with a lot of water damage. Unbeknownst to me, she tore out a lot of it because she was told, "If it's been two years, you can't get the same stuff." I was very fortunate that I like one of the best sellers and they always have it in stock. So I was able to purchase enough to replace everything that had been damaged and taken out.

I was looking for specific colors and styles. I wanted to color match the flooring against some of the furniture and decor that are in the room. I was able to purchase what I wanted at LL Flooring. The color was perfect and it was exactly what it looked like online. I purchased laminate flooring online then picked it up at the store. Everything was fine and easy. They pulled out the products in a forklift and loaded everything in my vehicle for me. They put a thin piece of plywood underneath everything so they wouldn't hurt the vehicle. LL Flooring had good prices and people.

I've only started putting down the flooring. It's the tongue and groove type placement. The one that I have seems to be a little bit pickier than some that I used in the past. I purchased some laminate flooring from Sam's Club 20 years ago and put it down. It was dummy-proof and was so easy to put down. With this one from LL Flooring, you really have to do very exact alignments. If you're off by the slightest little bit, it doesn't go. That aside, the quality looks pretty good.

When I walked in with a color sample to the LL Flooring’s local Peoria store and I said that I would like this color, it took them literally 30 seconds. They found the floor’s exact match and worked wonderfully. I loved the help that I got from them but I started using online now that I'm here in Missouri. I moved here and we got ready to build the house and the cabinet colors changed, which is why I ordered another sample.

The customer service has been good so far except my last sample never came. Maybe I'm used to it shipping faster in the past but it’s been a week and a half at least, which is generally longer than I've waited before. But maybe it was a harder sample to get. I figure it will come eventually. Right now, shipping keeps getting slower. When you think it wouldn’t get slower, it gets slower again. Still, I would highly recommend LL Flooring.

He ensured me that it will get fixed. I asked him (PM) to come to my residence to see how they’re messing up my flooring he never showed up. All transition caps have nails sticking up. I took LL flooring three months to deliver with several dates that were cancelled and rescheduled. Understanding during Covid Pandemic, there would be delays, which leaves my wife and I to believe, our flooring sat in an overseas can for a few months in heat and humidity, causing these issues. Contacting the store manager his answer was to sprinkle baby powder in between the joints. What? Then I wanted to lodge a complaint so he sent it to LL Flooring's "Senior Escalation Complaint & Response Specialist". This is where you get an even bigger runaround.

They don't even have the common courtesy to call you back when they don't want to deal with your issue, after meeting with their so called management team. Installed properly. Product was in home for several days getting acclimated to the home per manufactures directions. Humidity levels at 45 to 50 1/2 expansion around all walls. Quarter round nailed to baseboard. We were to purchase even more flooring for our lower level through LL Flooring, but that's not going to happen now. Steer clear of LL flooring. Very poor customer service. LL Flooring did the flooring in our 2300 square foot home. The work was poor and left a lot to be desired. One of the door entry ways was cut too high for the flooring, we are still fighting with them over reimbursement, after we hired someone to do the work they promised to do, but never did. Some of the floors they installed buckled, becoming a safety hazard; other floors started moving, which they have came out to address twice; the problem has resurfaced for a third time; and the scratched up the entry way of many of the doors with the equipment used to cut away some of the lower part of the entry way of the doors to accommodate the new floor. The workers do a poor job of cleaning up behind themselves; it took up weeks to rid our home of the dust and debris left behind in the home and garage.

LL Flooring grossly overestimated the amount of supplies needs to do the work and then wanted us to return the surplus materials to the store, we never received full reimbursement, because the contractor did not return the items they opened but did not use and the store claim to only accept unused/unopened items. The contractor deny keeping the materials and the store claim they never received the items... go figure, so much for ethic, right.

LL Flooring Customer service is superficial at best and absolutely uncaring at worst. No matter how bad they or their contractor mess up your home, they will fight tooth and nail to avoid paying for damages. If you need flooring, shop around, there are better, more reputable and reliable companies out there, who will stand behind their work and give you more than the 12 month warranty LL flooring offer. LL Flooring claim the flooring may be lifetime, but the work is only guaranteed for twelve month. How does a company in good conscious and honest standing separate the two without creating a hardship for the customer? Learn from our mistake, shop around.

Right after install had a tile pop loose, and then noticed grout was crumbling in between tiles. Called store and installer came out and repaired. The next day another few loose tiles and more grout crumbling. Called store again. Installer came out and fixed. Same issue for a third time. We spoke to supervisor of installer. He came out and looked and said he’d make sure to make it right. Said he was going on vacation week of March 15 but would call us when he got back to schedule repair.

As the week progressed, more loose tiles and more grout cracking and crumbling. Week after March 15, Friday, and still no call from Supervisor. Had to call twice to get him to call back with day installer would be here to fix. He came out a third time and fixed loose tiles, etc. once again, more crumbling grout and another loose tile, the day after he left. Once again spoke with supervisor who said he’d have guy come out and fix and pretty much said we are waiting, king on floor too soon, (even though installer said it was ok) and that we should be waiting 48 hours (so he was basics, my saying it was our fault). He said he’d call my husband Wednesday. I told my husband I don’t want him coming out again to fix. It’s going to be the same outcome, so why even bother?

I filed a claim with the corporate office. They asked me to send pics which I did and said I’d receive a reply back in 24-48 hours. That would have been yesterday, and I didn’t get a response. I sent an email, this a.m and no response. I also noticed my trim was broken by installer and repaired, instead of him replacing with new trim that was in garage. I took a pic and sent this today to them as well, along with an email stating I’d like a reply ASAP. I’m paying for a floor that is in disrepair. Crumbling grout all over and loose tiles. It’s been well over a month since install and still don’t have a functioning floor. We paid $4200 for the floor and had I known this would be the outcome I’d have never gone with Lumber Liquidators. She keeps the floors very clean. Now after being down for a year, we are seeing splits starting to occur around different parts of the house. Looks like plenty of people are having this problem. We have a whole house humidifier and our humidity stays the same, so not a dry problem. As others have I called and got the same run around. All they will do is give us a box of new product. What a rip off. Most of the splits are in the middle where it will not be easy to fix. No telling how much more you end up destroying trying to get the bad out.

I would recommend that you research other flooring before buy their stuff. Cheaper is not always the best and you can not believe these salesmen any more. They will lie through their teeth to make a sale. They know once you have spent the money, you can not do anything to them. Save your time, money and headaches, go somewhere else.

Since we were not from the area, we asked who they would recommend to install the flooring, they provided us a name, we received an estimate from them and had the work done. About a year ago, we noticed the floor rising in spots, very noticeable and could trip over if you are not paying attention. I too got the same run around, send 10 pictures and someone will be in touch. I kept getting "reminder" emails to send the pictures, which I did EVERYTIME! Finally they gave me someone who said they received them and reviewed and told me since I had no "extra" pieces to send them to be tested, I would have to hire a floor inspector to determine the problem.

It should NOT fall on me to prove there is an issue, they need to stand behind the product. She did offer me four (4) boxes of "replacements" to fix the areas, but that still does not solve the issue, it will happen over and over again. Just want a refund for the flooring so I can move on to a much more reputable company. If you considering purchasing from them, I strongly advise not to.

Picked up a bunch of flooring that I installed on a wall myself. It's a lot more time consuming process than installing it on a floor in that you have to glue it and hold it while the glue dries. It took me 4-5 months to complete the process also because it was in a weekend cabin, not my home. When I got the material the employee said, "You cleared us out of this color and there are a few boxes with box edge damage. Just bring them back if you can't use them." Never mentioned anything about a 90-day return policy. I have 7 extra unopened boxes and that's about $350. I'm 30 days after their return policy and they gave me a hard NO. I called LL customer service and they also said NO, sell them on Craigslist. If I would have known this I would have returned some and picked up more as I needed it. It's not a discontinued item. I think that's just poor customer service.

The company reached out to me. We came to a mutually agreeable solution. The issue was mainly due to their sub-contractor inflating a price to level the floors, and the take the price now, or we leave and do not know when we will be back attitude. I knew, and understood the leveling was possible, and necessary. Just not an overall increase of the entire price (product, tear out, install) by 43%. However, they hired the sub-contractor, not me.

    Original Review: Jan. 11, 2021

Everything started out fine. Good experience selecting the laminates. Salespeople helpful. Installer measurement went well. Delivery went well. Removal of carpet and old laminate. Entire 1st floor including kitchen, LR, FR, FR. Price was great. $6k for product, removal and install, total. A great price. then during removal it was determined that some leveling was needed and some shimming and sanding of a couple places on the subfloor. We are talking a couple hundred dollars of supplies at best and a day of labor. LLC called and started with, well HQ wanted $4200 to start, but I got them down to $2600.

You actually want me to believe that? My entire main level is in total disarray, they will not install flooring without this work. They know they have me over a barrel and took full advantage it. Increased the job price by 43%. The original removal and install was only $3000 in the first place. Buyer beware. I am so disappointed. I gave LLC a chance, but in the end, I was taken advantage of.

Hello. I regret to that there were issues in the midst and after your install. Our business is not to take advantage of the customer but to assist in the best way possible. I am sorry that you were not verbally informed of the possible subfloor work that could possibly take place after removing your carpet. There should have been paperwork that you were to sign that should have informed you of the possible things that may come in to play during the install. I will look further into your concern and your information has been updated in the system and I will be in touch.

Let me start by stating I love the quality of the floors and they look great in my home. However, the installation process was abysmal to say the least and is cause for me not to return as a customer to LL. Here are a list of my complaints: 1.) The installers did not wear masks and laughed when I suggested putting them on. This was not a huge concern of mine. Otherwise, I would not have let them in my home. However, I do believe when travelling from home to home your installers should wear masks during the pandemic. 2.) They were here until well after 9:00pm installing the floors. They disturbed my neighbors with the cutting and hammering. I was told the installation would take no more than a day but clearly they should have left around dinner time to return the next day to finish.

3.) Without permission – they used my microwave and charged their cell phones in my bathroom. 4.) Prior to their arrival, we removed all furniture and items from their path to ensure they had access to install the flooring in the designated areas. The 2 installers rearranged my furniture placing dirty items on my new sectional so that they could have access to my dining room table to eat lunch. This was very rude. I found stains and scratches on my sofa after removing the items they placed on the section. 5.) They played loud music and sang loudly while working. This would not have been an issue if I was not a work from home employee. 6.) They blocked my neighbor in her garage by parking their van in her driveway without permission. (I found this out after they had left when she knocked on my door to explain).

7.) And the most pressing concern is my broken toilet – when removing the toilet to install flooring in the powder room, they disconnected the tank from the commode for some unknown reason. As they disassembled the toilet they broke the screws which was needed to reconnect the tank to the commode. Making matters worse the tank fell over leaving a huge blue stain (from the toilet bowl cleaner tabs) on my carpet. As instructed I hired a plumber to reconnect the toilet after the installation.

When Roto Rooter arrived the next day he said he was unable to reconnect the toilet because of the broken screw and that I needed a new toilet. Well you can imagine my feelings to hear this news. I was not prepared to purchase a brand new toilet. He was able to find a fairly reasonably priced toilet for $244.27 from the Home Depot but the entire cost to purchase and install the toilet was $774.27. I explained all of this to the owner of the company hired to install the floors - Sean Heverin of Alpha Designer Floors and he offered reimbursement for the expense of the new toilet. Well to my dismay he only sent a check for $244.27 and not the full $774.27 which included the cost of installation. I feel he should cover the entire expense since it was the negligence of his workers which forced me to purchase a new toilet. If it had not been for them I would not have needed to purchase a new toilet.

We went to Lumber Liquidators to replace carpet on my second floor and stairs. We have hardwood downstairs already. The store folks were nice and helpful, and we got a good price on hardwood that matched (closely) the stuff we already had. We went through Lumber Liquidators for install as well. But Lumber Liquidators contracts with RW Flooring for the install process, and RW Flooring then hires independent contractors to do each job. I would never trust this again.

RW Flooring scheduled our install for 2-3 days, on the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday between Christmas and New Year's. So we took days off work, moved everything around the house, boarded all the pets, etc., to get ready. The installers showed up Monday and Tuesday and worked, then showed up Wednesday morning to say they couldn't work because it was raining, and they'd be back the next day (New Year's Eve), and then only half the crew showed up on Thursday.

That half of the crew finished the flooring upstairs. The stairs weren't done at all, but they just left and said they didn't do stairs and didn't know when the rest of the crew would finish them but it wouldn't be that day. So there we were with a house that was trashed, piles of unused hardwood and supplies everywhere, a stairway that was wood framing and plywood treads, a holiday weekend coming up, and we had to start going back to work the next week.

RW Flooring called a few hours later to tell us that the crew wasn't coming today to finish the stairs--which we already obviously knew--and they'd be there later. When I explained that it was a little inconvenient (sarcasm) to just bail on a job like that, they said the contractor was sick and couldn't come in and they didn't know when he could come back. But they offered to reschedule for a Saturday if that was less inconvenient and they'd get back to me.

We heard nothing through the weekend or the Monday or Tuesday of the next week. Then Wednesday morning, as we're getting ready to leave for work, the installer shows up. No notice, no warning. No way to prep the house, adjust our work schedules, or board any of the pets.

I called RW Flooring, and got the rudest most insolent customer service response in my life. They offered to reschedule, even though they were already unpacked and starting, and that they wouldn't take any responsibility for any inconvenience--even though they said someone from their office should've called to tell us the job was scheduled for the day. He reiterated that these were independent contractors and what they did wasn't anything that was RW Flooring's fault. His tone, attitude, and approach to a paying customer with a clear issue where his office had dropped the ball was "We've got our money, go away."

He also let me know that the post-job walkthrough has to be done with the installer, not anyone from RW Flooring. So the big holes in the flooring where they face-nailed improperly now have to be corrected by the already-unreliable install guy. Again not RW Flooring's responsibility, he said. Buy hardwood from Lumber Liquidators if you want. As far as I can tell, the product is fine. But they pass off the install aspect of the process to another company who then passes it off to independent crews that you don't hire or vet. And every time one of the companies pass off that work, they pass off responsibility. Ultimately, you're left paying to be at RW Flooring's convenience. Don't fall for that trap like I did.

I was assured there would be no problem using the product we purchased; however, this is not the case. The misrepresentation made to us is not on the product's surface or finish. But in its thickness and firmness. We were shown a sample that was mounted on a ½ thick all wood display sample. The piece was firm and sturdy to our touch and standing on it. We discussed the removal of the carpet. Told by both sales and installer, the bamboo would feel the same way sturdy! Where the wood meets the tile, the area would be level. We have many high areas that one may trip on. The transitions are high and cause stumbling and tripping. The floor looks like it was not professionally installed where it meets 40 ft of tile.

When I ordered the hardwood, I consulted with the lumber liquidators professional, and they recommended me purchase me to purchase the engineered hardwood I ordered because I have the concrete ground. They said I will have 1 year warranty on the product and the labor.

In around September, I found some hardwood boards have the issue of discoloration. I reported the issue to lumber liquidators, because it is still under warranty. Then they sent someone to my place in October. After that, they don’t have any answer on what they plan to do to resolve the issue for me. They said it is not their responsibility, because not all boards have issue of discoloration!! The boards with issue are not close to water line. Also, they should have moisture barrier to block the moisture before they install the hardwood for me!! Every time I email them or text them, they just tell me they are waiting for response from the company. Sometimes, I have to send 7 to 8 emails to get 1 response. I have already waited for their response for over 2 months, and I am still waiting!!!! If I can give zero star to them here, I will definitely give 0 star.

We bought a beautiful solid bamboo floor from LL in 2017. It was installed according to directions in Feb of 2018. It looks absolutely beautiful and the local LL store in Manchester, NH couldn't have been more helpful. This summer, several boards began to show surface bubbles. When burst, the bubbles oxide syrup-like fluid that smells like molasses. We asked LL for advice/help. There was no issue with subfloor moisture because the flooring was installed over a plywood subfloor not concrete. They refused to help until a class action lawsuit regarding the product was resolved. We were away from our home for 8 weeks when we were mailed about the class action and when we returned, it was too late to join the suit.

LL still refuses to help. We don't know whether the class action will help. LL has abandoned us and, incidentally, indicated that even if they did help, it would be with an in-store credit. Regardless of how this eventually turns out, we will NEVER purchase from LL ever again. Their store staff were very helpful (although they did not warn us about the product class action lawsuit). Corporate LL have been indifferent to our problem.

June 2019 I purchased flooring to be installed. The total $9000 for about 1200 sq ft and labor. RW Flooring was the company they contracted to do the work. I chose laminate and questioned the salesman at the store if it would be ok for wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. Was told they had it their homes and laminate wasn’t like it used to be and it would be fine. I was having my whole lower level replaced. Time came for install. I had already removed all carpeting so they had to revive tile from kitchen and bath and half, and an area of hardwood in dining area. They had leveling material in case the foundation needed it.

It took 4 days for the install. Afterward I noticed several areas that were extremely bouncy, noticed that subfloor could be seen in the bath area around the tub, around the dishwasher, the toilet hole was not sealed, the hole was too big, several areas of boards had gapping and others had obvious lipping where it wasn’t matching up. Along edges of boards the “wood” was peeling up.

I called customer service and in turn was contacted by the installer Juan. He came out to look and on the areas of bouncy he said those areas would eventually tighten up and settle. On the boards that were gapped he said the same. He replaced a couple of sections in the living room and bedroom. He told me I had a year install warranty and to call him directly if there were any problems, not to go through customer service and he’d come back. In all he came back 4 times before I just resigned myself to the fact I’d just have to live with it. He sent his son on one call (one of the installers). He told me I shouldn’t have gotten that flooring because it’s hard to install it with there being issues.

Fast forward 8 months (still in warranty timeframe). I purchased two more boxes to use for risers on my stairs. I received an email to give a review on my purchase so I did. I also at that point mentioned the troubles I had been having with the floors and install. The next day I received a call from Chris who is an installation coordinator. He had seen the negative review and wanted to see what they could do to make my situation right. I explained all that had been done, the areas of problems. He said there was no reason I should resign myself to settling, that I needed to be pleased. This was March 30, 2020. He said he was opening a file so that the warranty wouldn’t end while they got it fixed.

In June a new installer with RW Flooring was sent to assess the floor. Shane came out, took pictures, and said it was his recommendations that the whole floor be replaced. There were so many issues in different areas that it would affect the integrity of the floor to patch areas. He said the original installer, Juan, was no longer with the company because of there same problems. He had already done complete redos to fix what he had done.

After several back and forth with Chris, I received a visit from Bob with RW Flooring. He came in and made mention of areas I didn’t mention that were subpar such as quarter round, door facing issues, then of course the unlevel subfloor, the mismatched levels of boards and so on. He told me they would come in and completely level the floor, all new quarter round, the bathroom would be fine properly. The whole thing needed redone. He took many pictures and suited me I would be taken care of. He took one of the boxes I had purchased and sent to corporate for testing. Keep in mind this box was bought 8 months after the floor was installed. In Sept I finally was told that there was nothing wrong with the product, and that RW flooring should be getting in touch with me to come take care of thing. I didn’t hear anything, I put several calls in to Chris with no return calls.

Shane eventually called me and asked if I had heard anything. He had gotten an email from Bob telling him to come replaced any boards that were messed up and fix the area in the kitchen. He was confused because he had recommended a whole redo. I told him I had not been contacted and that was not acceptable. No one was returning my calls so he said he would reach out to Bob. About a week later I got a call from Bob. He said since Lumber Liquidators said there was no issue with the materials that they would be patching areas that needed fixing.

On one call with Chris I had mentioned that since they felt there was nothing wrong with their product they could come and take their product back and give me a refund. I could then get someone else to do the job properly. I also told him that I did not want the same product put down and I would pay the difference in vinyl to get it done.

The beginning of Oct I received a call from Chris. He had gotten the message I was not accepting the proposal for fixing the floors and he had now involved his supervisor Amy in the discussions. I have since called Amy and Chris, left messages, and cannot get any return calls. RW flooring was all about doing a complete redo but this was only if Lumber liquidators took responsibility for the product, which they didn’t. I was told to get wood filler and put along seams that was peeling. I was told that floating floors just do things like mine is going.

At this point I’m going to contact my lawyer. $9000 is not something that’s easy to come by and LL reached out to me to make it better but now they are just passing the buck between them and the installers. Never will I use them again. To make things worse, I had my bathroom remodeled. LL was supposed to have gotten this all fixed before the remodel was started. The company got started in June but had to stop construction because they were waiting on floors to be done. In Oct they contacted me and said they needed to finish their job so I had to pay them to redo the floors, that was another $3000 that should not have to had to pay for if the original floors had been done properly. I will be contacting my lawyers at this point

I’m am thinking of suing them for misrepresentation of product since every sample I reviewed did not have random dots. I was told that the “dots are part of the design,” which is the company’s way of blowing off complaints. Just a little review of Lumber Liquidators I'd like to share. I had an appointment for September 28th to have my floors installed in my living room, my large mudroom/entry and adjoining bathroom. I took both Monday and Tuesday off because they said it could take 2 days. The installer apparently wasn't feeling well and showed up late Monday morning and said all he was going to do was rip up the carpeting and that he would come back to finish the next day.

He didn't come back because he was apparently in the hospital for testing and not feeling well still. But said he would come back on the weekend to finish because I told him I couldn't take any more days off. Leaving my living room and the rest of my floors unfinished and horrible looking and all my furniture shoved into my dining room for another 5 days. He did come in Saturday said he was feeling better and laid most of the flooring down but did not finish any of the trim work and part of the bathroom floor and leaving all of the boxes and trim work and glue and garbage still in my mudroom/entry.

I have not heard from anybody since. I did call LL in Auburn Hills and was told they were going to contract the installer company and get back with me that same day at the very least tomorrow which was on Tuesday. I have not heard back from them at all. Not from the installer, not from the company that contracts him out and not from lumber liquidators even though I have called and texted repeatedly. I feel bad about the installer and I'm not putting any fault on him but the company should have replaced him if he was ill and couldn't finish this job and not leave me in this predicament.

We used Lumber Liquidators back in November 2019. We had bamboo installed on the whole first floor. After the install we noticed right away about the color distribution and the gaps between the planks. We talked to the installers before they left and they assured us the manager of the install company would get back to us. Well a month later he finally did. And instructed us to install a humidifier on the heating unit and that will take care of the gapping. $700 and 3 months later, the gapping is still their. And the last 6 months has been going back and fourth trying to get this taken care of.

The contractors came out to do a assessment for Lumber Liquidators and before they left, they assured us that this would be taken care of. That was 9 weeks ago. 1 weeks ago we got email from the Lumber Liquidators customer service representative that we have been dealing with through this whole thing and stated we used a steam cleaner on our floor and voided the warranty. I don’t own a steam cleaner nor would I ever use it on a wood floor. We have requested to see the assessment and they will not supply us with it. The gapping has been there since day 1. And now they are claiming I damaged it to cause the gapping. When they came out to do the assessment all they did was looked at the gapping on a couple of spots and used some magnets on the spots that we brought up were creaking.

There is no water damage on my planks so I don’t know where this came from. We are at the point to where we cannot get in contact with our Lumber Liquidators customer service rep or the installer. Ever since that email they both have stopped responding. I have the whole email string of our conversations with the customer service rep. At this point I don’t know what to do rather than just keep calling customer service. But nobody is calling me back. Our flooring project, which was originally quoted and agreed upon to cost $2,500, ended up costing nearly $4,000 due to admitted "oversights" made by the company-provided estimator. On our installation day, it wasn't until our old carpets had been removed that the installers noticed that our subfloor was roughly 1/2-inch lower than the flooring in the connected rooms. We were given the option of either having a 1/2-inch "lip" when you entered the rooms - which would be a major tripping hazard - or pay over $1,000 on the spot in order for the installers to purchase and install plywood to even out the flooring. The LL installers, along with the LL customer support agent, admitted that the estimator should have noticed this issue when he visited our house, checked the subfloor, and saw a sample of the flooring we would be ordering. Even though they acknowledged this "oversight", we were still left with no choice but to pay the extra money.

The warranty is a scam, I bought Core vinyl plank flooring, and after 2 weeks the tile start to plank out of the floor, the finishing around the tile it is too short and not click very good. We notified Lumber Liquidator and I didn't know they give the same story to everyone who called (send 10 pictures or more and we will call after 48). Well, after 48 h they email me that they dont received the pic etc... Just give you heads up my floor is only 30 day old, and I know already their answer... No warranty apply on that, because they do the same with every customer that complain. 1 week pass and nothing yet... "Keep you posted, thank you..." And yes we bought a vinyl plank that was advertised as a highest quality product with life warranty..

We paid $18k for a brand new hardwood floor install. The installation supervisor was arrogant, rude, and made inappropriate comments to my wife. The actual installation was full of blemishes, creaks, cracked boards, and protruding nails amongst other major installation issues. When I pointed out the issues, the installation supervisor said to call Lumber Liquidators and they would make any necessary repairs. Fast forward to three months of completely useless customer service from Lumber Liquidators and a very expensive and poorly installed wood floor. Do yourself a favor and don’t ever do business with them. They use sub-standard installers who do a lousy job and then everyone hides behind a worthless warranty. If I could give them negative stars, I would. Time to lawyer up and get some satisfaction.

First, the guy that came out to measure, was good. The techs that came to install did not speak English at all. They wanted to “level” flooring for additional 2k (20 50lb bags At $ 100). I stated that it doesn’t require 20 bags. When I called the store, manager stated “if you don’t do the work we recommend, we are not going to cover the warranty”. I stated it was not that I did not want to spend additional $$ but the 20 bags for 400 sq ft was not reasonable. He said, "Let’s do 10 and if installers need few more bags, I will not charge." Installers finished the job and left some area without coverage. I got charged ~ 1136. Installers were done in 1 hour. So they made $ 800 for 1 hour job? They are coming back on Monday to complete the job. I need Corp to look into this issue.

Prior to my visit I hadn't received any telemarketer calls and Lumber Liquidators is the only store I gave out my phone number in the past few weeks. The paint began flaking in less than 8 hours even next to my dog's water bowl! Terrible product. Some stuck, some did not so I ended up picking up most of what was down causing me to have to buy more and glue, and rented a 100 pound roller to help it stick so I thought. The floors are mostly coming up. Some stick on the ends and not the middle so it make a sound when you walk on it. I have stop installing the floor as this was a waste of money. So now I have 2 different color floor in my house. I will not buy here again. I have a different brand of laminate flooring upstairs that turned out perfect.

Installation Cost: Approximately $10,400. Size: 1100 sqft. Estimated Time: 5-7 days. Start Date: May 18, 2020. Completion Date: June 16, 2020. The materials we purchased are great, were delivered in a reasonable time, and were given plenty of time to acclimate. For the rest of the review, I am going to be as fair as possible, and include any mitigating factors to the problems I experienced. I really considered not even bothering to take the time to write a review, but my wife said "I wish I had heard our story before we hired them". So I'm sharing my experience not trying to convince anyone to use them or not, rather to provide information so others can make an informed decision.

The installation was a nightmare. I paid more than $10,000 for on installation services alone for an 1100 sqft project. This included building up the subfloor that was 19/32" (less than the mfg recommended 22/32" for our flooring) and nail-down bamboo. The cost breakdown was about $6600 for standard "replace existing flooring with new flooring" work, $1000 for custom work they knew about from the start (stair risers), and $2800 to build up the subfloor when they discovered it wasn't thick enough on day 2 of work.

Lumber Liquidators assigned the installation project to RW Flooring. RW Flooring assigned/sub-contracted the job to Combs Custom Floors, and they assigned it to one of their installation crews. The installation "crew" was one guy and his helper. I say helper because the guy was really just there to help carry things - the installer had to explain to him how to cut and remove carpet on the first day of the job. From week 2 through week 5, my living room, dining room, master bedroom, and both bathrooms were unusable, and my dining room table was stored in my kitchen so it had to constantly be moved to open the refrigerator or dishwasher, and to open cabinets and drawers. For two weeks of that time, we were walking on bare subfloors, because the existing floor had been removed, but only a small section of the new flooring had been laid.

Week 1 starts, and it was supposed to take about 4-5 days. The subfloor build up was supposed to add 1-2 days. The first week was basically completely lost because the installer only showed up for an hour on Monday (because he was still working another job even though he was supposed to start mine that day), and discovered the subfloor issue just a couple hours in on Tuesday. By the time we paid for the extra cost on Wednesday, they weren't able to send installers back out until the following week.

Week 2 basically started on Tuesday, despite being scheduled for Monday. The installer was only at my house for about an hour on that Monday, too, because he was still finishing the job he took when he wasn't sure if I was going to pay the extra cost the previous week. During the course of the first week, the installer explained to me that things were moving slowly because he didn't have the right tools anymore. He sold them all when he retired from flooring to start a food truck, but when COVID-19 happened he had to go back to flooring.

The installer worked 38 hours and 40 minutes this week (yes, I kept a detailed log of not just the time, but what was accomplished each day), including Saturday. By the end of the week, the dining room and living were both partially complete, and the foyer, closets, bathrooms, and master bedroom were all down to sub-floor, which had mostly already been built up. At this point, it was clear to me this was not going to be a 5-7 day job, as we were 5 days in (not counting the 3 days they were there for 1-2 hours and didn't do any real work), and it looked to be less than halfway done.

Week 3 was when the real problems began. The installer’s assistant wasn’t back with him this week, so he was by himself (except for a few hours where a couple other guys showed up to help finish the subfloor - they were not part of his crew and were not “authorized” by LL to be there, which becomes important). Monday and Tuesday were full days of work, but by the end of Tuesday, only the master bedroom and some more of the living room had been laid.

We still had the master bathroom and foyer with no flooring, the hall bathroom and coat closet hadn’t even had the old flooring completely removed yet, and the living room, dining room, and hallway were still missing the last few rows of flooring. AND none of the quarter round had been laid, nothing had been cleaned up, I had old flooring in my garage and front yard still, and the custom stair risers hadn’t even been started. This was the day the installer asked me to sign the paperwork saying the job was complete, because if he didn’t turn in the signed paperwork that day, he wouldn’t get paid until a week later. I refused to sign (as nicely as possible) until the work was ACTUALLY complete.

He arrived after 1p on both Wed and Thu, and on Wed he was on his phone at his truck for three hours then left. On Thu he spent 3 hours trying to fix a problem he had created by laying all the rows in the dining room forgetting to take into account the size of the stair nose, and having to cut every row back by hand, while already laid, in a perfectly straight line (he was not successful).

At this point, I contacted Combs Custom Flooring, and found out the installer told them he had already finished the project and had started his next job already (which is why he wasn’t showing up as expected at my house). While I was on the phone with with Combs Custom Flooring, we fired the installer, who was at my house while telling the guy I was on the phone with that he was at another job site because he didn’t want to tell them that he wasn’t close to being done at my house yet. The guy from Combs told me he would come out the following week with the owner and two more people, they would be in town all week, and they would take care of everything.

Week 4 was supposed to begin around 11a Monday, but I got a call from Combs saying they wouldn’t be there until Tuesday. They showed up Tuesday, looked at everything, and said they would come back Wednesday and Thursday and take care of it. They came Wednesday afternoon at 1p with a crew of 3 people, fixed a few damaged boards and stair noses, and three hours later said they were leaving and wouldn’t be back. They were going to send THE SAME INSTALLER BACK to finish the job, which they agreed would take him at least 2-3 more days to complete.

I argued with the owner of Combs Custom Flooring for 20-30 minutes, telling him that I did not find that acceptable, we agreed to fire the guy for VERY GOOD REASONS (he’s dishonest and unreliable, works too slowly, and doesn’t do quality work), and I didn’t want him to come back. He just kept saying “it’s his job, we have to give him the opportunity to finish it”. He said they never told me they were going to finish the job, they only meant they were going to fix the problems I pointed out. I was dumbfounded by this whole exchange, and ended up telling them I refuse to allow him to complete the job. They said they could “try to find another crew to squeeze me in next week”.

I tried contacting RW Flooring to tell them I was having a major issue with their subcontractor. The owner of that company emailed me the day the job started and wrote, “Should you experience any issues good or bad, my direct cell # ** or you can email any time”, but he never answered his cell phone, and neither he nor his Regional Director (who I also called and emailed) returned a single phone call or email. On Thursday evening, I emailed the LL store where I bought the materials and paid for the installation, and requested a refund for the installation services that were not completed so I could find and hire someone else to do the work. I got a reply saying it had been forwarded to the “regional install manager”, but I didn’t hear from that person.

Week 5 began with a follow-up email to LL, again requesting a refund. I was given an 800 number for customer support, and an 800 number for installs. These were general phone numbers, mind you, not direct numbers to someone who could immediately help resolve the problem (not the “regional install manager”, whose number I had requested). While in the queue for the “installs” line, I FINALLY got a call from the Regional Director at RW Flooring.

I yelled at him for not returning my call Wed night, Thu, Fri, Sat, or Sun. I told him at this point I’m not even willing to let him keep the job at all, I’m going to find someone else. He asked if there was anything that could change my mind. I said bring a competent, professional crew of at least 4 people to my house tomorrow and be completely, 100% done by the end of the day. He called me back an hour later and said he had a top notch crew from Nashville that would come to Louisville the next day and get it done. I talked to the owner of that company who said he would come from Mississippi with his crew to make sure it got done right. They arrived on time, and were done by 6pm on Tuesday.

So, really long review that comes down to this. LL uses lines like “Just select your floor, we'll arrange the rest”, “We'll be with you every step of the way, ensuring that each stage of the project is a success”, and “enjoy peace of mind from start to finish” to promote/sell their installation service. It was one of the primary reasons we even considered LL when trying to decide on the flooring we wanted. But in my experience, those statements are completely false. LL left me to deal with the contractors they employed myself, and really offered me no support or recourse when I had significant issues.

The store manager was sympathetic to my plight, but unable to help me himself. They gave me no hassle at all about returning unused materials, getting a refund on the work I did myself (I removed toilets and at the original installer’s direction, despite me having paid for it already, and moved the furniture when the job was complete because the final installers had no idea where anything came from) and gave me a couple free bottles of scratch remover and a cover-up pen.

It took way too long and was an incredibly maddening experience. My wife cried about it, and I’m not too proud to admit that I felt like crying more than once, too. They did not protect any of the furniture or put up any plastic or anything to contain debris and sawdust, they didn’t clean the glue squeeze-out as they went, and the floors were swept, but not cleaned, when they were done, so we’ve been pretty non-stop cleaning since they left. In the end, we’re pretty happy with the floors, but there are some issues that I guess we’ve just resigned ourselves to living with.

The dining room flooring has small gaps between the ends of the rows, and the stair nose they come up against. There are some minor protrusions from face nails. The new subfloors are uneven, with dips and bumps in places - our bedroom door had to be cut to allow it to open over a bump in the floor, so now there’s a 1” gap under the door when it’s closed, and there are a couple places where you can feel that one board is “lower” than the others around it.

With LL, I think it all comes down to who does that installation. The problem is, in my experience they engage both ends of the spectrum - really top tier installers who take pride in their work and are professionals, and bottom dwellers who just want a paycheck but don't want to do the work and unprofessional and uncaring about how that affects the customer. And since the customer has no control over which one they get, I would not recommend using Lumber Liquidators.

It was advertised as an AC4 rated floor (commercial). We noticed it had several scratches and gouges that penetrated into middle layer, when about half of it was installed. We had a professional contractor install, who was very careful with it. Even a week after we quit installing and wore nothing but socks we noticed more scratches appearing where our chairs with felt pads were. We had AC4 rated laminate in the past and it was very difficult to scratch, in fact it looked new 2 years later.

Called local LL and was told to call corporate. Took 2 days to get human on phone. We were told warranty only covers delamination, not scratches. Our only recourse was to return unopened boxes for partial refund. No one was willing to investigate whether we got a defective batch of flooring. Product is either defective or not quality advertised to be. Also we were told we needed 5 rolls of underlayment for our square footage. Had to go back and order an additional 11 rolls totalling $550! Beware! Make sure you get all Warranty information prior to ordering any floor. Sadly, prior to this experience we were a loyal LL customer.

I called the store in Concord Ca where we made the purchase and they told me it sounded like the board was defective. They told me to call their customer service, it’s been 2 weeks. Denise who I spoke to and sent pictures to never bothered calling me back, she told me she would call me In 2 days and now it’s been 2 weeks. When I call in the representative who answers always tells me she is unavailable or gone for the day and tells me to leave a message. I would have never purchased from lumber liquidators if I had known this is how the warranty and customer service works. In the meantime I had to pay the contractor I told Denise about to pull up part of the living room and change out the board.

Although I was disappointed with some of the aspects of customer services, I’m not disappointed with the quality and beauty of the floors, nor the actual installation. The installer did really, really, good work on the nail down installation; I definitely respect and appreciate that.

    Original Review: June 1, 2020

After years of contemplating due to cost, I finally purchased my Bellawood flooring in December 2019 from LL, and opted to have it installed by one of their contractors. The LL sales reps, Brian, Quentin, and Spencer were amazing! Very knowledgeable, fun to work with, and was just as concerned with the quality and cost of my project as I. As with some, I never felt they were trying to upsale or take advantage of my being a woman. Brian was the one that assisted me in choosing the beautiful floor I now have in my home; I love it!

However, the installation process with S. W. Contractors, contracted through LL, was/is a problem. Let me start out by saying, nice people to talk to, but it cost me more than what I should have paid. I informed both LL and S.W. that the measurements were approx.. 40 feet more than actual square footage completed. S.W agreed, after review, that when they added the figures together on their schematics (measurements), they “accidentally” charged me for an addition 20 feet, above their own numbers. I was informed by both LL, and S.W, that I would be refunded for 20 feet of installation. Installation was in January 2020; I have yet to receive stated refund.

LL continued to inform me an email was sent to corporate regarding S.W Contractors. Additionally, in effort to ensure S.W installers would have more than what was needed in supplies, exception being nails, LL sold me additional floor glue, two pack wood saw, and additional trim glue. LL reps let me know to just bring the excess back for a refund, but it’s better to be safe and have more, than two little; exception being the saw because it was sold as a two pack but I’d have it for future projects. I had ZERO supplies left. Some of the trim is separating from the wall, in addition to almost every seam has separated leaving open gaps; I have to go and buy more glue to repair these issues. I don’t expect perfection, and minor repairs ATF, I can take care of myself, in addition to the fact that I absolutely love my floors. However, I shouldn’t have to pay more than what I’m supposed to, or what anyone else would.

In order to make sure I have on hand the same wood floor in order to complete another room, I purchased 6 more boxes from LL and picked it up May 29, 2020. The showroom is closed due to COVID-19, but they are still doing pick up. The new rep at the LL store, located in Pittsburg CA, brought the flooring out with a forklift, placed it behind my SUV, and stated, “Let me cut the straps off for you”, in which he did. Not to say that I would’ve accepted, but as a woman, standing there alone, he didn’t so much as ask if I’d like some help loading them into my truck. He cut the straps, went back into the building, and closed the door; Didn’t even instruct me to sign the delivery inventory slip, I did that on my own. You would think I had said, or done, something to offend him.

As the result of costing me more than what I should have paid, and the recent unpleasant experience with the new rep at LL, I will not be conducting business with them anymore. (Brian and/or Quentin would’ve asked if help was needed or insisted I called someone. I had no idea LL rep would not assist.) I will find my own contractor to install the recent floor purchase, and look to another company for my bathroom floors. My experience started out very pleasant, prior to and during the purchase process, making the downhill spiral extremely disappointing after monies exchanged.

On Memorial Day my husband made the hour and a half one way drive to Lumber Liquidators due to the holiday sale. He chose a floor however the store did not have enough in stock. The sales associate told him he would have the flooring delivered to our home at no additional charge. We did not receive any discount or sale price even though the holiday sale was going on and the store was unable to fulfill our request. The sales associate promised someone would call Wednesday to set up delivery. No one called. We called to ask about it and were told that there was not going to be any delivery and we would have to drive back to the store on Saturday to pick up the flooring. This is not right. We were told there would be delivery to our home. Now we are expected to drive a total of 6 hours to get flooring.

I went to LL Flooring's website and loaded the same flooring in my cart and even with the shipping to my house at an additional fee the total for the flooring was still nearly $100.00 cheaper. I don't believe online pricing and in store prices should differ. I called customer service in an attempt to work this out. Customer service is a joke. They did not help nor offer to help. She simply kept repeating the flooring would be available for in store pickup on the 9th. Which leads to my next gripe. The store associate said the flooring would be available for pickup on the 30th. The customer service rep says the flooring won't be available for in store pickup until the 9th.

I have never dealt with a company with such poor customer service ever. I am not asking for much. I am asking for what I was told would happen. I will probably cancel this order which I also told the customer service representative and I suppose they don't care as it's only $1,800.00. I have an entire home to remodel and refloor. I will not choose LL Floorings again and I will not recommend them to anyone. It is not ok to lie to customers. I said this same thing on their Facebook page but it was deleted and I was messaged a generic message telling me to contact customer service. Customers should not be silenced or lied to.

Warning: Stay away from LL - they have deceitful practices and do not support their customers. We bought over $6k worth of floors and when they came to measure, they added baseboards to our invoice, which we didn't ask for. Given the property is unoccupied our contractors didn't know we didn't want them and installed them (They are bright white and the floors and everything else in my house is brown wood). I had to pay to have them installed, uninstalled and my old ones put back on. Spent over $1k in labor thanks to their deceitful practice and they refused to even refund me the $275 for the baseboards I never requested. The boards are in the trash bin and I will NEVER use this company again. Deceitful company that doesn't understand good customer service. Stay away!

I had a Lumber Liquidators contractor do an estimate, purchased flooring and was told last minute they no longer were making the design, because of that, they told me my stairs had to be customized due to the measurements! Well my contractor with 30 years of experience, got completely different measurements for the stairs and I ended up having to return some of the supplies they sold me! Well my stairs are done and guess what, they don't fit!!! I would have to spend another 4k to have them fixed and installed! When they cost me over 1200$ in the first Place! I called Lumber Liquidators and was told, "Too bad we can't help you!!! We don't back our contractors!!??" Now I have stairs I can't use because they didn't measure them correctly!!!

Went shopping online for laminate flooring. We decided to do a room while everyone is still pretty much locked down at home, and we had time. Went to website for lumber liquidators, selected the store nearest us, and proceeded to shop and BUY flooring. LATER, after order was placed, I started to wonder why I hadn't been contacted for pickup. I went back to the website, and tried the chat feature. I had to reconnect 3 times just to get answers out of the people on chat. The first simply cut me off when I asked where my order was. The second person, just didn't answer for quite a while after we started chatting, then after asking about where my order was and why it wasn't ready, simply disconnected as well.

The third girl finally told me it would be WEEKS for my order, because it wasn't in stock!!! NOT IN STOCK!!! I was shopping the local store!!! No notice of stock being out, no mention of it anywhere! So now I'd either be stuck waiting, or cancelling the order.. What a crock of bull. So, after a few days of waiting, I had to cancel the order. I ended up buying from Home depot, same design, same color, same price, and within a few minutes, ready to pick up. If this is their way of treating customers, they should be closing their doors. This is pathetic.

It has been 3 mos and he has been back once and said he leveled one area but it made no difference. The installer stated he would return the leveling product and Lumber Liquidators would credit. Still no return, no credit, and wavy floors. Their customer service rep does not read previous emails and updates, so it's very discouraging trying to work between customer service and the installer (they hired), and they don't stand behind the installer. I purchased 230 sq feet of unfinished oak hardwood from the Lumber Liquidators store in Tigard, OR. When I made the purchase I specifically asked the salesman, Tyler, whether I could return unused bundles. He said any unused bundles could be returned. After completing the install I had two unused bundles which still had their plastic straps holding them together. I did nothing to them but load them into my vehicle and then brought them back to the store in exactly the same condition as they were sold to me.

When I brought them into the store, the same manager, Tyler, told me that they could not accept them because the pieces were not lined up evenly on one end so he could not "verify that all the wood was there." I explained to him that the bundle was in exactly the same condition as it was when I purchased it from him a few weeks prior. He noted that some of the pieces on the end were loose and starting to fall out. However the pieces were already starting to fall out when I bought the wood from them. Despite bringing the wood back in exactly the same condition as I bought it, he still would not allow me to return the two bundles of wood, about 36 square feet that I had paid them about $120 for. So, this is not a reputable company, they will sell you a product and lie to you about the return policy. I recommend to buy your flooring elsewhere.

My mom (who is 85) had flooring installed by Lumber Liquidators in her home a few years ago. Right after it was complete she had to call and have the installers come out again because they didn't do it correctly (gaps). Then a few months later, another gap in the middle of the floor showed up and she called someone and left a message - no one called her back. She then tried to get in touch with someone again a couple of weeks later and no one contacted her. Well, since then, there are so many gaps in the flooring, it's coming up in different places and has become dangerous for my mom. She doesn't have the money to install new flooring because she's living on social security after my dad (who served 23 years in the army) died a year and a half ago.

I am extremely disappointed with this company. They act like they don't care and might send a generic email about how they do care, but never follow up. Wouldn't it be nice if someone did care - at least a little? I cannot stress enough to everyone how horrible this company is - they charge so much and just ignore their customers. There are a lot of different flooring options, so I recommend hiring one of those.

I purchased my bamboo floors from Lumber Liquidators in Sept 2019, and had them installed in Sept 2019. I financed the floors and the employee who states he is the assistant manager, Marcus, helped me and I was under the impression when I call and set up the appointment time for the installation with the person who Marcus gave me, then installation would be added. I called and the guy came and measured and picked up my floors. I had to pay the person that Marcus had sent.

I called both the installer and Lumber Liquidators and told them after 2 months, Nov 2019, my finish on the floors are peeling and the floors are raised. It wasn’t in just one area but throughout different areas the finish peeled and the floor raised. That’s over 740 sq ft. I was told by them it was moisture and I had a leak somewhere but there was no water anywhere nor could you feel/hear water under the floors. I call a plumber and there was no leak or moisture issue or water. I called and informed Marcus at Lumber Liquidators and the installer. Marcus had me to call Lumber Liquidators customer care line and they asked for pictures and if I had any unused product to send it in. I called Marcus but he stopped taking my calls and Lumber Liquidators said the product test showed no problems and I could have a moisture issue and would not replace the product.

I’m reading the reviews and I see this is a problem that is/has happened to several of customers and Lumber Liquidators doesn’t stand behind the warranty. I wouldn’t buy floors from them because they are not of good quality and the service is bad. I have had the floors taken up and moisture test done again and that’s not the problem but have been told some of the pieces of wood put down were bad. I can’t get a hold of anyone else from Lumber Liquidators.

When I went to pick up flooring (about half of the total order because entire order wouldn't fit in my truck) from store, I asked about t-molds and realized I hadn't ordered any. I ordered 4 sticks in store. A box arrived with 3 sticks in side. When I returned to pick up rest of the flooring I mentioned that I was 1 stick short. I told the employee to hold off on sending the last stick because I didn't know if I would need it.

Fast forward to now. I'm done with the project and I didn't need the last stick. I called the store and they said I would need to call customer care since it was sent from factory. I called them and she told me that I got 4 sticks because her computer said 4 were sent. I told her I got 3 of the 4. She then said I waited too long to bring it to their attention. I explained I told the store employees. She responded that it wasn't noted in the computer and they would have noted that if I said it. I hoped to improve the appearance of my home with the intention of selling within 5 years. I'm retired, live on a very modest income and acquired a loan for the flooring. At Lumber Liquidators I asked the clerk about flooring and his response was for me to pick out something I liked and let him know. He said my choice was great, easy to care for, durable and a great warranty.

Within a year after installation plank bubbles developed and edges lifted. I have taken excellent care, only using their Bellawood floor product, area rugs were needed and no spills! I contacted Lumber Liquidators; they sent an inspector who provided a report that damage most likely resulted from moisture content in my (desert) home. The inspection report noted: "All field test methods are not to ASTM Standards". The bottom line is, I was found to be at fault, and of course, Lumber Liquidators Rep, Barbara ** is so sorry that I'm unhappy. My 1st concern is that I received no help when asking about flooring quality. I expected store employees to be knowledgeable, not just make a quick sale. I would have purchased a better product if differences were explained. My 2nd concern is the product has left me with a negative for selling my home and I don't have the resources to correct the problem. At least the loan is paid.

Installer disposed excess flooring, more than necessary, when installing. Installer was careless. Initial threshold was an obvious tripping hazard. Install around fireplace odd, also obvious. Pictures attached. Installer and local store manager agreed the issues should be fixed. That was during the summer 2019. Installer repeatedly failed to show up (cancel, reschedule, delay follow-up in scheduling, etc) April through November 2019. Store management seems unbothered, leaving customer with the problem.

October 2019 Installer finally returned, removed the old threshold and glued a new threshold into doorway knowing the customer will sand and stain the threshold, but now it's glued into the floor! (The customer resorted to fixing the threshold by sanding and staining because the store is unable to simply find a match. Unacceptable.) The Installer also attempted to fix the odd area around the fireplace but left it looking just as messed-up as originally installed. Installer agreed.

Over the last week customer received a text message from Installer asking to fix issue over the weekend. Customer replied and no answer, it's been 2 days and customer has some weekend plans to consider. Hard to plan when the Installer does not respond and has a history of failing to show up. Lack of respect for customers' time. Today customer called the store manager for assistance to discover the manager is out for a week! Customer exhausted from repeating the situation to store leadership and requesting assistance. Store was paid in full prior to work starting. In all my years dealing with various companies, never have I dealt with the level of utter incompetence and carelessness in the total customer experience that this company exhibits. My nightmare is still ongoing after a full 4 months of BS. Things started off at the Milwaukie, OR storefront in mid-July of this year just fine. The price of my Bella Wood floor was great. The purchase of the floor at the storefront was fine. The estimation process was a little rocky, but ok. It was when the flooring order was placed and scheduled for delivery that the problems started.

First, the floor took a while to get to the storefront. We were then surprised to find out that WE had to figure out how to pick up the floor and get it to our house - no one had told us that. And that there was an additional fee if we wanted it delivered! Then, the custom wood vents took 2 months to get to our house! The installation couldn't be scheduled with the subcontractor Floor Solutions LLC until those vents arrived. There was so much back and forth with the storefront, so many broken promises about when the vents would arrive - and 3 phone calls to me to ask ME how many vents THEY were supposed to have manufactured - when they had the order and all the associated paperwork in house from their own estimator!! Finally someone from the storefront hand delivered the vents because the corporate office just couldn't get it together!

And then the REAL nightmare began. The subcontractor - Floor Solutions LLC - has been jerking us around for the past 2 months. They were supposed to come out mid-September, and when their crew got here, they feigned ignorance about having to move our furniture - even though it was included in the contract! So they left and we told Lumber Liquidators we didn't want to use Floor Solutions - but since there was no other option available if we wanted to use their financing, we were forced to reschedule.

Here we are two months later and for the THIRD TIME now the crew has come out to our house and said they won't move our furniture - and, to add insult to injury - they showed up 2 hours early today when we were getting our kids off to school. They have now LIED to the rep at Lumber Liquidators saying that they will come out today to start the job while telling my family that they won't be out today. And the Lumber Liquidators rep has told us there is nothing more he can do. We are beyond frustrated. We just want our floor installed and for this disaster to be over.

Bottom line - we still - AFTER FOUR MONTHS - don't have our floors installed - and Lumber Liquidators has done NOTHING to help or compensate us for the trouble (other than taking off the cost of the plywood and giving my husband a 5% military discount on materials) - it's insulting! Our advice: NEVER EVER use this company. Their one saving grace is John ** at the Milwaukie, OR Storefront, he has been great and has tried to help us since he started working at the Milwaukie store - everything else has been a NIGHTMARE. Frankly, he's the only reason we have waited this long to write this review. But this is the last straw - we have 5 kids and work full time - this is the 3rd time I've had to take time off from work to deal with this nonsense with their horrible subcontractor. My time is valuable and Lumber Liquidators has not valued my time or my happiness. Don't let the same thing happen to you - shop elsewhere.

I worked with Eliu, a store manager in the Milford location. He was knowledgeable and very helpful. The delivery person forgot a portion of the order and Eliu went out of his way to deliver it on his own, and on a drizzly day. We have not installed it yet, so I cannot comment on the floor itself, but working w/ Eliu was simple and efficient.

I was contacted by Lumber Liquidators' associate and she worked with me on the floor issue. She couldn't do nothing about the contractor as he was only recommended by the store and is not a store installer. So as far as the floor itself goes I am satisfied with the outcome.

    Original Review: Nov. 2, 2019

I am very disappointed. I have the floor raising and have some boards cracked. I texted the installer and he was telling me it was the weather doing it but I ripped up the floor and there was no moisture paper under it and also no clearance from the wall. When I brought this up to the store they made excuses about I have no central air and temperature humidity control, my first house had hardwood floors with just a space heater never had problems. Considering the floor is about 2 years old I am not happy with this experience.

Updated on 11/12/2019: I posted here back on October 28th. WE are still waiting to get anything corrected in this matter. Corporate reached out after reading the review but then the ball was dropped. WE have been trying for months to get our floor fixed. This is not acceptable nor would I recommend this company after the frustrating experience we have had. This is an easy fix, but we were told we have a warranty, but it's not good if nobody at this company upholds it. WE have gone to our local store and they are not helpful to get this matter taken care of either.

Original review: WE had a wood floor installed about 9 months ago. The service at the store and installers were great at the time. We have had very bad bowing in our dining room from floor being put in too tight. We have called and emailed this problem to the warranty department. They assigned a case worker to our claim for it to be fixed. We after almost a month have still not gotten anywhere with this. We have called and emailed corporate and still no word or call back after their website says they will contact us within 24-48 hours. 8 days later no communication whatsoever. We just want our floor fixed per our warranty. This is not acceptable and is poor business. We are very disappointed in the whole process, and very poor customer service.

I purchased 800 sq feet of a Mayflower brand 3/4 inch Gunstock hardwood product from Lumber Liquidators. Here is a list of my struggles.

-I was told random lengths. Some cartons had all shorts. Some cartons had all full length pieces. I don't have a big space to lay out 800 square feet to sort it. It surely was not randomized per box. I complained Lumber Liquidators via email on this and got no response.
-There were a few boxes containing roughly 50% warped, chipped or cracked pieces.
-The finish between each piece was inconsistent. Some pieces were very hard where some were almost not like oak at all...soft.
-I glued this floor and take responsibility for my inexperienced mistakes like taping too tight to straighten a warp, only to notice the next day the joint buckled. Which by the way was heartbreaking because this glue does not come apart easily. There is no going back to re-do.

-I did not expect to have to sand edged to make this snug. I really was not going for a rustic floor.

I have a pile of crap wood here and it's a damn good thing I overbought as much as I did. Mayflower or Lumber Liquidators need to take back all this waste. Why should I eat it?

I purchased CLX-UL BRAZILIAN KOA EVP 7mm. 9/2019. Installed 10/2019, by an experienced flooring contractor. Some planks have a grey adhesive pattern/residue stuck on the tops, and along the edges of the finished product. I also noticed the backing lifts and loses adhesive on the product. I noticed the boxes were stacked about 8 high and shrink wrapped and stored in the warehouse. I contacted the Lumber Liquidators store where flooring was purchased, personnel had not experienced any other issue like this and forwarded us to customer care at 800-366-4204.

I spoke to customer service rep, Shawna, she contacted numerous fellow employees, again not having knowledge of a similar complaint. Shawna suggested I try Bostik Ultimate Urethane remover. My issue is, I should not be responsible to clean the floor residue. I requested a representative from lumber liquidators come out and see the floor before attempting to clean and possibly ruin the surface. She continued to state that the store personnel doesn't do that and corporate was not going to either. I then spoke to a warranty rep., Daily. She informed me this didn't warrant an open warranty case, because I had a contractor of my choice install the floor. After spending $2000.00 on the floor. I would think they would show more customer care and want to stand behind their product and correct any unsatisfactory issues with the flooring.

They do not stand by their product at all, even when cupping happens within months of installation by the installers and glue they recommend! They blame it on the installer, the glue, moisture in your home (we live in the damn desert!). They offer absolutely no remedy, even after making you take 5-10 photos that clearly show the big ridges popping up at every single seam. Their pricing does not give them an excuse to keep selling products that are defective. Beware.

Lumber Liquidators recently opened a location in Medford OR and transferred a manager from Las Vegas to run the store. After a class action lawsuit was filed and settled for $36,000,000.00 regarding Morningstar Bamboo flooring, Lumber Liquidators sold us the exact same bamboo flooring for 2 houses in Arizona and Nevada so moisture isn't a problem. Shortly afterwards we noticed problems with the floor and I reported to the manager that the floor was "snap, crackle, and popping." His response to me was that the issue is our fault: we didn't buy LL's pad or have them install, etc, and that we should glue the same floor down to a concrete slab on the second house. Glue to concrete, is he crazy? What then happens to the glued floor if and when the concrete cracks or shifts? We're contractors and we're not stupid.

Also, the floor was a acclimated for 2 months and the rest of the product is still in the wrapping. We must remove the floor planks from the wrapper to acclimate it, But removing the wrapper voids any return! Now the floor is buckling, corners and edges are curling and there is no way to keep them down. The click lock design is defective. It doesn't hold together. The manager told us that we could return the product if we weren't satisfied. Now he says that we can return unopened flooring FOR AN EXCHANGE ONLY, but we must take it all the way back to Oregon to do so. Knowing now that there was a class action lawsuit and Lumber Liquidators still sold us this defective product, we can't trust their advice for anything.

I am telling the truth on Lumber Liquidator on what has happened to me. We came in the Rockford Illinois store to purchase 1700 square feet of hardwood. We order everything from quarter round to the underlay to the wood. We picked it up the day before we closed on our house and after we put all this flooring in the house I found out it was the wrong floor. WE had installers coming in the next day to put this floor down so we could move in. I called the store the next day and all they could say was, "We can give you $800. back back." I had no other option but the keep this floor.

Well as it turn out the finish was coming off this floor. They in turned told me to call and installer and just pick that piece out. Well that did not work so I called again and they in turned called an inspector to come and look at my floor. The inspector wrote it up to look like I did not care about this floor. He said it was put in wrong and that I did not have a dehumidifier at all times. Then to make matters worse the girl I was working with put a block on her email so I could not contact her again.

I finally decided to call the guy that did my other floor in Illinois to come and look to see if he could work a miracle on this floor. He did redo my floor. He said that the mill cut was terrible and that the finish that they use had too much anti oxen on this wood. He did remove all of this so call finish and I now have a nice looking floor that I wanted to have in the first place.

I did write to Lumber crap wood and they have NEVER replied. Can you believe that. All I wanted was for them to just pay the refinisher. Now we were in a hotel for a week and had to buy meals out. Had to come in and completely was the whole house down with all the dust. I cannot begin to tell you how much money we have put into this floor. Please, PLEASE, DO NOT GET FLOORING FROM LUMBER LIQUIDATORS. It is crap wood. They take your money and they do not make good on their crap floor when defective.

And all furniture has felt underneath because the floor is getting marked up very, very easily. That’s one thing that I didn’t know and they didn’t tell me.

I was moving furniture around. The contractors moved my fridge around, and the floors in the kitchen were an absolute disaster. I had some extra boards, so they cut out the ones that were in there and mounted these ones back in and they looked new again. But those ones that they cut out now and that they put back in, they mounted them the best they could, but they're not interlocked now. The contractor was surprised how soft it was too. So next time I buy a hardwood floor, it will definitely not be as damageable as this floor is.

We got hardwood floor from Lumber Liquidators in the Nashua, New Hampshire location and I liked everybody there. The reps were really good. Then I saw that there was a sale after I made my purchase. I called Lumber Liquidators' 1-800 number and negotiated a price with them to buy 800 more square feet at the amount of the intrinsic value that I would have got if I had just gotten the best price from the beginning. The rep actually got that approved so I was able to get the best possible price. I'm very happy about that. Then I installed the flooring myself and I didn't think it was difficult. Plus, the quality of the flooring was excellent and I got compliments for it. They're gorgeous. I like Lumber Liquidators and I would recommend them to everybody.

Lumber Liquidators seemed okay and they have pretty fair prices. We purchased engineered flooring in the Yonkers store and it has average quality. I didn’t realize it at the time, where like with the pricing, which was a good price for it. But I should do a little more research and see how durable it really is. We talked with the salesperson there and he was good then we hired an installation team and they installed the flooring in a reasonable time.

I got hardwood flooring from Lumber Liquidators in-store at Rancho and Craig, and though one guy was wrong with his measurements, they were okay. However, having the stair nose come out to where you cut it at two lengths could have been better because for two stairs, there's a lot of waste on it. It came to a 72-inch length and the stairs are 40 inches across, so there are 32 inches of waste at 100 dollars apiece. Still, the quality is holding up and it helped me sell my house.

I heard a lot of bad reviews on some of the flooring but so far, the flooring has been perfect and I don't have any complaints. At first, I was a little bit apprehensive if it was gonna be that nice of a floor but it was everything that I expected and more. So it came out exactly how I hoped it was and it's beautiful. When we returned them, having made our choice, a different salesperson discovered that the previous person hadn’t taken our information, so we gave it. We called the flooring company LL recommended, and a rep came out to measure the floors. (We paid $39 for that visit.) We were told we be contacted with an estimate. Now, amazingly, six days later, the store is asking us which hardwood we chose! We’d like to pull out of the deal, since the Elk Grove office procedures seems so slipshod. But the $39 is not refundable.

Hello, I am reaching out to customer service as my family and I received the worse customer service at one of the locations. I planned a lovely day with my family, as we all got to share our experience remodeling our new home together. Instead we experienced the worse customer service possible. My husband and I purchased over 1,000 square feet of our ideal floor for our home. We were a little short and needed to purchase a bit more. My husband and I contracted a flooring company to help us with the installation process. Seeing we were going to need more I called the Carrollton location and was able to get part of what was needed.

There I was greeted, and was helped in a very fast manner. I explained my situation to Mr. ** and he did everything possible to assist me as he was aware I was having to pay to have it installed. Mr. ** loaded my can fairly quickly, due to the circumstances even though he was the only person at the location. I was advised the rest of the material could be picked up at the Arlington location.

Upon getting into my vehicle, I called the Arlington location to advise I was on my way and if the items could be ready for pick up upon my arrival as I was in a very tight time frame. I advised I was on my way, and would be there in about 30 minutes. 3 minutes before arriving I called the Arlington location and asked if I needed to step into the store, or just pull into the back as I had previously paid for the boxes at the Carrollton location. I was advised I needed to step in to sign, then after pull into the back.

I arrived to the Arlington location, and was greeted. I advised I was there for pick up, and gave my name. The 2 workers advised I could sign the paperwork and proceed to picking up in the back loading part of the store. I pulled in as directed, and noticed no one was coming out. I waited about 18 minutes before someone came to the back. I then waited for the pallet to be brought out to my vehicle, but it did not happen. I was there waiting, in 100 degree weather with my family, over 45 minutes, as the workers had not prepared my items for pick up.

The worker continued to drive the forklift back and forth, moving boxes, rearranging materials, Making space, trying to find the boxes I needed. After a very long time of struggling and not being able to get to the boxes, I stepped into the store and asked the gentlemen at the front desk if he could please assist, as it looked like the worker in the warehouse was having some difficulty getting to the materials and was not sure if she was okay since it was so long. The gentlemen at the front desk then stated "it's only 2 of us here" and nothing else.

I once again stepped out into the very hot weather and waited with my family. The customer service there was unbelievable. The day I planned with my family turned into a day where we felt as if our plans were simply not important. This was our first experience with the company, and it went from amazing customer service, and wanting to refer family and friends. To reconsidering.

My experience with Lumber Liquidators wasn’t very good. Originally, I was quoted for either number one or a select grade wood for $2 and change per square foot. So I went in to buy the hardwood floors but suddenly, the price changed. The little jerk who quoted me didn’t even have the guts to tell me. He had to have his manager tell me. He just went and hid in the back room. Then once we got that all squared away, he talked me down to a number one grade thinking it was just fine and would do the job. So I bought it at a much higher price and I brought it home but the wood was junk.

I know good wood when I see it and that was not good wood. I put the flooring in myself and the width was varied by as much as a sixteenth of an inch, even more. You can’t put down a good floor with that kind of gaps in it. So I ended up having to take a whole bunch back and get the select grade, which wasn’t a whole hell of a lot better, and pay more money yet. But I got my floors down and I washed my hands. I’ll never do business with Lumber Liquidators again.

Installing the product wasn’t quite as easy as some of the videos I've seen out there, with trying to get it in to some of the tight locations. So far, I’m also happy with my hickory flooring. But when I made a second purchase with them and this time, it was oak, I was pretty disappointed because it dents easily. It’s supposed to be hardwood, but whatever you drop makes a dent on the floor and I was surprised with that. It didn’t justify the cost for that kind of quality of wood and it wasn’t what I was looking for.

But since it’s already installed in, I don’t think I can get the money back. I got to have somebody to come in, take it out, and put a new floor in. Other than that, I installed the flooring myself and to work with it wasn’t a big deal. But I remembered that a few boxes of the hickory came out not as good quality as the rest. I had the floor installed with my own installers and immediately noticed it always looks dirty and hazy.

I checked my warranty and filed a complaint complete with photos. LL has their own inspectors who come to test the flooring (manufactured by LL), I also have their Bella Flooring cleaning products and the floor has been cleaned so many times, I even had my cleaning lady try to clean it but after 5 times in one day the floor still looked hazy and dirty. In short the inspector claimed my cleaning was inefficient and refused the claim. I spent over 10k and I do not have a serviceable floor. It is horrible. LL doesn't care either to make it right. I have now hired my own inspection company and intend to file a lawsuit against them. BEWARE. They are not cheaper, at least Home Depot and Costco stand behind their products. LL is a joke. I have some of them coming up a little bit. The cost in relation to the quality was a good ratio. The only thing that could have been better is if it was made in United States or one of our allies. I did the installation and it was simple. Floating floors are fantastic. Even the nail-downs are easy. I already have recommended Lumber Liquidators.

I've been to Lumber Liquidators' store at Sanford for quite a few times and a couple of times in their other location. Their sales reps have done a great job and they were very helpful. When you go the store, they load everything up for you, and they ask to make sure you got everything you need. They'll go through the whole story of what you really do need. We chose the engineered wood and the cost is fair and their quality is all as good.

I originally ordered online and needed more. So I ordered again online but I ordered the wrong thing and Lumber Liquidators caught it. They knew it wasn’t what I ordered the first time. They asked me if it was the product that I wanted and I realized it was different. They were smarter than I was. And then I've purchased engineered bamboo flooring in their store. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I wanted. I did the installation and the product was absolutely incredible. It was easy to work it. There was only one or two broken pieces out of about 40 boxes. Lumber Liquidators is a great company.
