I had bamboo flooring from Lumber Liquidators. So far, I like it a lot. The cost is good for the quality of it. I was gonna use their man for the installation but I didn't like having to pay for the accident. That’s the only thing I didn’t like. It’s rubbed me the wrong way.

My carpet was starting to smell. I went to Lumber Liquidators and bought engineered bamboo flooring. Its cost and quality were great. Also, the salesperson was very helpful and told me what I needed to do and everything that I needed to get. I installed the flooring myself and it was pretty simple working on it. I had a really wonderful experience.

Every part of the transaction with LL was great. Geoff at the Annapolis store was professional and extremely helpful and even removed and replaced the tailgate on my truck to load the flooring when I picked it up. The crew that did our installation of the Black Mountain Maple 4mm LVP product did a fantastic job. They were here on time, they worked quietly and efficiently and left our basement perfectly clean. Their attention to detail on the transitions and trim work was simply outstanding. I would highly recommend this particular vinyl product for basement use and Lumber Liquidators installation services.

I purchased bamboo floor from Lumber Liquidators to replace the 30-year old, stinky carpet in our home. The salespeople were fine but one disappointment with the branch is the sample on the wall really didn't match what I bought. It was not the same color but of good quality. I installed it myself and it was easy.

I got some floor laminate from Lumber Liquidators. It’s a good product with a good price. A friend of mine installed it in one day, and it was easy. Lumber Liquidators has good customer service but the only thing is each corner of the laminate has little dots. I noticed that some of them are not correctly filled to the top, so I worry it’s going to peel off in the future. Other than that, the floor looks nice, and so far, the quality is good.

I got tiles that were on sale from Lumber Liquidators. The sales reps were not very engaging but okay. They had to order the tiles online for me. We picked it up by ourselves and when we got home, there were some that were broken. It’s hard to see because it was in a box. We're still putting the tiles down, but so far I like the way it looks. I would recommend them because the pricing was great for what we got.

Overall I am pleased with my floors. The quality of the wood is about a 90%. There are some flaws that until the floor was installed were not evident. The installer was amazing, he was meticulous about his work. With the quality of the boards not 100% I may or may not purchase my materials from this vendor again. I will definitely use the installer Ron **.

I did some repairs in our home and bought wood flooring from Lumber Liquidators. I needed 10 square foot of lumber but had to buy 30 square feet because the sales representative wouldn’t sell me 10 square feet. I was not very happy with that so I had an extra 18 feet of wood that I didn’t need or use and that I wound up giving to my contractor and paying for material I didn’t need. I tried to explain that to Lumber Liquidators and they just wouldn’t do it. There was no flexibility whatsoever and my experience is not very satisfying. Even so, my contractor installed the flooring and the quality is fine. The flooring did what we needed it to do.

The floors of my house were old and broken, the tile was coming up and I couldn't find any replacement so I ripped up the whole floor, put down a new sub-flooring and got a bamboo flooring from Lumber Liquidators. I was reluctant at first because I've never used them before and didn't know anyone that used them, but then I went online, read some reviews and everything worked out so I couldn't be happier. The sales rep, Joe, let me look around and was there for questions but wasn't overbearing or trying to make the hard sale. I had to come back a second time because I had to get some dimensions and he answered all my questions. I had a good deal. Installing the floor was also a piece of cake. The floors look great, they went together easily, and look to be of very high quality. I got a toddler at home, she drags furniture and stuff across it and it's held up really well. I would go back again and recommend it.

We bought some unstained wood from Lumber Liquidators for our wood floors and it's absolutely beautiful. It was an easy and quick experience and they handled everything I needed. Their sales rep was very helpful. He did not have enough of the product at the store where we were but he found another store and had the items brought to the store closest to us and took care of it on our behalf. I really appreciated him looking for the items so I didn’t have to.

With a husband and a wife, two boys, and a dog living in the house, it was time to get rid of the carpeting we had and put something that's hard, durable, usable and cleanable. We purchased 20 boxes of acacia 3/4-inch wood flooring from Lumber Liquidators. The sales reps were very knowledgeable and explained things. They had the product right there in their warehouse and we had the salesman helped load our purchase into the truck. The floor is A1 quality and it’s the best money can buy. It was a good experience because I spent a lot of time at lumberyards picking out lumber but the 20 boxes we got from Lumber Liquidators were all good. I don't think we had any scrap in them. The cost is very competitive with other suppliers.

This is the worse company I ever had to deal with. I wouldn't recommend buying from them. I bought bamboo hardwood floors worth $11k from them. The one I got was too dark (almost black) so I went back and they saw it was completely different than what I ordered and said they can fix it with new batch. After waiting for a week. I went back and they seem to forget all about it and told me that that only comes in dark color now. And they even didn't bothered to call me or inform me. Then I asked for the refund. But their manager on duty told me he can't do a refund.. And there is 20% deductible for refund even it's all their fault. Now I had to order something else from them and been waiting for another 3 weeks. Just really bad customer service and don't wanna take responsibility even if they know it's all their fault. I might have a file a law suit against them just to get my money back.

I needed some wood flooring and Lumber Liquidators had a good selection and everything was there. I didn't have to go to another store. All of their sales reps were nice apart from one. They also need to sell half-boxes since all I needed was one more stick but I had to buy a full box. I had a nice experience with them nonetheless. I installed the flooring myself - it was hard but I did it.

The sales representatives at Lumber Liquidators were friendly, courteous and responsive. I purchased the engineered wood and glue and a lot of the boards came out of the box warped, which affected the installation. The installers I hired found this difficult to work with. Unfortunately, I didn't discover the problem until the installers had gotten completely done with the job so I'm stuck with a couple of issues. I like the way the product looks but the installation was not ideal because of the warped wood.

To start out fairly I want to say the flooring we had installed (Antique Strand Click Bamboo) is very nice and looks amazing in our house. There are a few spots throughout the house where it feels squishy under our feet as if the floor is sinking into the pad underneath. Which I have never experienced with any other floating floors. And about 2 months after professional installation the flooring started to separate in numerous places, so bad that it was actually starting to come up and you would catch your feet on it. So I contacted my local LL supplier and was told to check my humidity levels in my house because some slight separation is normal. Which I responded with, I have and it's in the normal threshold since we have an entire house humidifier system. So then I was told to contact customer care and since it was an installation issue apparently there's a different customer care team that is suppose to help you.
So after numerous calls and emails and stops to my local LL store I was getting nowhere. It was one giant revolving door. It was impossible to ever get a hold of somebody to get my issues resolved, I had a customer care representative assigned to me (Kerri) but she never answered the phone. She never responded back to voice mails. She never responded back to emails. So I returned to my local LL store again and was told they were going to contact Kerri's supervisor and assured me everything would be taken care of. Well after 2 weeks and no return calls or emails I started calling again and the whole process started all over again. No response to any messages I left for anybody. So after about 3 months of this I finally had a return call from Kerri, only because the previous night I had sent a nasty email to LL Customer Care complaining of the situation. What a coincidence.
She contacted me and told me she was going to contact the installer so we could get this resolved. And within minutes of getting off the phone with her, the installer was calling me. Yeaaaa, about time I thought. The installer set up an appointment to come see what needed to be taken care of, which was still about another week out, which I thought was kind of crazy since all he needed to do was come look at the flooring. He wasn't going to be working on it, just getting an estimate of what needed to be done and what supplies were going to be needed. He told us he would get an estimate written up and contact us to schedule a time to come fix everything.
Well guess what? After close to a week of not hearing back from him I decided to give him a call. He told me he would not be able to start work on anything because he was heading out of town to Florida for vacation. He would contact me when he got back. I was given no time frame, no nothing. So after a few weeks of no returned calls I contacted my local LL store and asked if they could get a hold of the installer and explained all of my troubles and frustrations with them, again. At this point the store knew me on a first-name basis. I had called so many times. And like clockwork they told me they would contact Kerri's supervisor again to see what we could do.
At this point I went off. I told them I wish I would have never purchased any products from them and will never ever ever recommend them to anyone. This has been the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Who treats their customers like this, especially after they have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on flooring? Needless to say after that conversation and 24 hours later I received a call from my local LL store and the manager of the store said he wasn't going to wait around for the customer care team anymore and he would cover the cost of the materials needed and get a hold of the installer to schedule an appointment to fix the flooring. The installer contacted me and set up an appointment.
When he got to my house he said it would take too long (because now there was 4 locations that had separated) for the amount of time he had to work with that day so I rescheduled another appointment a week later. They came out and fixed everything as best as possible. The floor now needed a T-mold because the separation had become so bad which was a bummer because it totally broke up the free flow of the wood throughout the house. But at least I don't have floorboards coming up and my 2 year old doesn't have to trip over them anymore.
All and all it took about 5 months to get all of my flooring fixed, and I hope nobody ever has to go through what my family and I had to deal with over what I thought would be such a simple issue to fix. If I didn't love the flooring so much I wish I would have never bought it. I wish I could be reimbursed for the stress and time I had to waste to get this issue resolved. I won't hold my breath waiting for someone to respond to this review. LOL.

I had been working on a job where they had used Lumber Liquidators. LL had got a really good deal so I thought I’d try them. They’re a lot cheaper than the home improvement stores. I got bamboo flooring and stair treads from them. The lady that I dealt with was very knowledgeable. We got the wrong size of stair treads so we took it back and she got us the right stuff. I also have to take some stuff back there because the transitions they gave me were wrong but I haven’t talked to them yet. My friend and I did the installation and it was an easy process. The quality seemed to be pretty good and I see no problem.

We like the bamboo floor even though it has to be cleaned regularly. But all in all, it's a great floor and I would definitely recommend this company.

I just got rid of some old, ratty carpet before we moved in, and so I got bamboo flooring from Lumber Liquidators. The sales reps at Lumber Liquidators weren’t as knowledgeable as I thought they would be. One of them seemed knowledgeable, but the other one didn’t know too much. But everything went pretty good and so far, my family and I like the quality of our flooring. It’s only been over a month so we haven’t had any trouble, and I’m hoping it won't have any trouble.
It was actually hard to get started with the installation because the guys didn’t say too much or didn’t really know that much. It is not tongue and grooves. I do precast, and I never got into wood flooring, but I’ve put it in. Someone gave me a hand. It’s a little hard but once I got going on it, it just went. I am going to look them up and find out some more information. I also had to order some more and they didn’t have any more of the threshold pieces. We used Lumber Liquidators before in our previous home. We really liked their customer service and all of the information that they were able to give us before we put their product in. One of their guys sat down with us and explained anything that could go wrong and how to fix it before we even started the project. Then this last summer as we were trying to sell our house, we had some water damage in the kitchen and had to rip out a bunch of the floor that had water damage. They spent a good two or three weeks trying to get us replacement pieces for the flooring even though it had been discontinued. We found the best match and they shipped it to us. The guys at the store here in the Springs were really phenomenal. I got one of those tiles that looks like wood planks from Lumber Liquidators again. I like it a lot. About 6 months ago I ordered Morning Star stained French Roast bamboo (1/2" x 5") for a sunroom floor. When we went to install it, we discovered it scratched way too easily. When we contacted Lumber Liquidators (1-800-hardwood), they advised us (a) to submit a claim form with a minimum of 7 photos and (b) to immediately stop laying the flooring, both of which we did. I never received any e-mail confirmation or a return phone call as promised, so 3 days later I called. They clearly had my claim form (they could find it), and promised that a customer service rep named Tammy would call. She didn't, so I did. I was able to reach her -- one time. In that call, I was told by her that she had a report on the claim on her desk and she would be forwarding it within twenty-four hours.
It is now three weeks later. Between then and now, I have made five (5) phone calls to Lumber Liquidators to follow up on the claim. On two occasions, I was told that Tammy was on the phone and would call me back within 15 minutes. However, I have not received any follow-up call or any e-mail. The flooring is unduly soft, with the result that the surface scratches way too easily. To say that I am disappointed in the product, and in the way that Lumber Liquidators has handled this claim, would be an understatement. I could have purchased a less expensive product, but I went with Lumber Liquidators, believing that it would be a better product and that the company would stand behind the product. I was mistaken on both counts. I will never, ever buy anything again from Lumber Liquidators.

Since the last review... The company has been very helpful. They've come and picked up the wood that did not acclimate to our home, free of charge. They have communicated with me every day and have been flexible about meeting me on my lunch hours so that I don't have to take time away from work. The store manager, regional manager, and regional manager over the contractors have all been VERY helpful. We are pleased. I will say this has been a long process... So research the floors you are wanting to get before getting them. We have since gone with an engineered wood over bamboo because it will work better in our house.
Will recommend but will tell people to do their research.

They told us from the beginning that this would be convenient for us. Neither I nor my husband have any time off at our jobs, yet my husband has taken 3 days off without pay because they had to come do an estimate, and re-check the wood SEVERAL times and we don't even have the wood down yet. Our wood floor has been sitting in our house for two months now. We purchased the bamboo -- and just like car salesman, they want to sell you the floor and don't tell you ANYTHING else about it. Bamboo has to acclimate for a minimum of two weeks.
When they showed up to install (these are people CONTRACTED by Lumber Liquidators) of course it wasn't acclimated. They never told us to open our boxes and not to stack them. Our "project coordinator" (not sure what she does 'cause she hasn't done anything to help with the project) called TWO days before to tell us "Make sure your boxes are open on both ends." Honestly, I give people credit with they deserve it... but Lumber Liquidators has not done anything but not reply to my e-mails and nod their head ok so hopefully I will shut up.
The contractors have been SUPER sweet and very apologetic (even though they haven't done anything wrong and the stores have blamed all this on them). When I called customer service she said "We assume you know how to acclimate." REALLY? 'Cause I've put bamboo floors in before? This is a $6,000.00 project and if we would have known how to acclimate, don't you think we would have done it so we could get wood floors down? We are living on concrete and have a 9-month old that is crawling but can't, because we ripped up the carpet right before they came.
I have e-mailed our "project coordinator" twice now with no response. Again, all I've seen out of this company is shadiness. One person blaming the other. They just wanted to sell us 6k wood because they saw we had good credit. Remind you of a car salesman? We were so excited to get wood floors put it. We did hear bad things about Lumber Liquidators however, we went against all odds and they proved those customers right. Better Business Bureau will be getting a phone call from me because refunding me $200 out of $6k for my husband's loss of wages for THREE days, just makes me even more mad.

I bought from Lumber Liquidators some bamboo flooring. The last time I purchased the same flooring was back in 2007 for the main level of our vacation home. We did not finish the basement at that time so now we wanted to continue the flooring down the stairs and basement. Hence, the recent purchase. The sales experience has several parts. We first dealt with the Dover, Delaware store for the treads and risers of the stairs. At that time, we were trying to get the same kind of flooring that we had before for the basement floor, and we felt that we were pretty much misled by the salespeople at the Dover store. We purchased the flooring, got out, looked over our paperwork, and realized that whatever we bought was not a good match for what we had previously bought.
So we called corporate, talked to several wonderful people there who explained to us that we should not be purchasing what we've bought, that it would not do well in the basement. They could not stand behind the warranty. Thus, we canceled the order on the phone and only went with the treads and risers, and decided to revisit what we're gonna do. We eventually decided we'd go with tiling that looked like wood, but we couldn't find anything in tile that was suitable. We went to the Rockville store and looked at what bamboo we could get. We met the wonderful Jackie and we're very happy with our latest purchase.
I was very happy with the people that we dealt with on the phone. I'm not particularly trying to complain about the salesperson that we dealt with in Dover but I wasn't happy either with how little he knew about the product or how he was not being upfront with us about the product. It was Jackie and Jackie's brand-new boss who were good. We explained to her boss how happy we were with Jackie and he was happy to hear it and having an employee that he can count on.

My mother died a couple of years ago and then I bought the house from my siblings. Since my parents retired in the house, they haven’t done any work for about 15 years, and so a lot of things are run down. I don’t particularly like a carpet. So I tore the carpet up and the existing hardwood floor was pretty much destroyed because of 50 years, 4 kids, 3 dogs and 2 cats. It was in pretty bad shape and had been covered up with carpet for 35 years. I said I could redo this then I got an estimate and decided that it would be easier to simply put down a new floor on top of it so I shopped a lot and found Lumber Liquidators' carbonized bamboo floor which we liked and was discounted a lot.
Their sales rep was knowledgeable and the delivery went smoothly. My friend who's a contractor knows a guy who came and did the installation. I didn't expect the forklift driver to break open the box and inspect it so when we got it to its destination and finally opened up the packages, there were a few that were damaged. Everything got alleviated but they were determined to charge me for freight. I told them that was not fair at all. I shouldn't be charged freight if the supposedly new product comes damaged. At the end of the day, they ordered it and didn't charge me freight. Other than that, my experience with Lumber Liquidators was good. We had a team help us with the floor installation and it was easy. The tongue and groove were manufactured correctly.

The guys, especially the manager, at our local store were fabulous to work with. We purchased a closeout product online for pickup at the store. The manager was able to locate all the trim pieces we needed in the original discounted model style, shipping them from other stores directly to our home, saving us hundreds of dollars over trying to match it up with trim of a current, inexact color. However, the particular style of engineered hardwood floor we purchased does scratch (gouge) extremely easily - as in pulling out a dining room chair gouges the surface deeply enough that polish and stain won't cover it.

My husband and I drove from Brunswick, Georgia to the Jacksonville, FL Arlington Expressway store. We found a product we liked, it was on the sale that you were promoting on TV. It was the perfect color so when we got to the checkout the salesperson was not able to complete the order because corporate had apparently shut it down and was saving 9200 square feet for another promotion. That's what we were told. I think that was very unfair to shut down the sale prior to the sale being over. So we had to settle on a color that did not match what we had.
Your sales personnel were very helpful and nice. I don't have a problem with them at all. It was not their fault. But why would you cut off a sale before it went off to satisfy another promotion when you had paying customer that was excited because I had found exactly what I needed. Very dissatisfied with your policies. You should not treat your customers in that manner. The sale was still going on. I will not recommend.

The sales people were very attentive, knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating, and not pushy. In the big stores, there is very little help and the people that help generally don't know a whole lot about the products. So, prices were certainly in line with the big stores, but the customer service interaction with the salespeople at Lumber Liquidators was stellar compared to the other stores. Before ordering my flooring, I contacted Lumber Liquidator's recommended service affiliate who recommended an installer. The installer's wife came out and gave me options for a hardwood/bamboo floor being either nail down or glue down. After looking at my present flooring, she recommended nail down and suggested that an additional benefit would be it was less expensive. With the shopping list she created in hand, I ordered my supplies and materials from Lumber Liquidators. I had the materials there ahead of time as per instructions to acclimate to the home. When the installer showed up, he said that unfortunately it would be approximately $900 more than originally quoted because he could not nail down the bamboo I'd chosen and the $900 extra would be for glue and labor. I told him I didn't have $900 and that he would have to honor his estimate somehow.
After much haranguing and back and forth with the Lumber Liquidators staff, they agreed for me to return the underlayment, get a credit and then they would provide glue ~ granted, not the more expensive glue the installer wanted, but flooring glue. When I returned to my house with the glue, the installer claimed that since he didn't have a contract that said he'd be doing a "glue down" floor, he'd return the next day. Needless to say, I was seriously disappointed as I needed this work done while I was on a scheduled vacation. I ended up going with a non Lumber Liquidators affiliated subcontractor who did a brilliant job, saved me $700 from the original install estimate and saved me even more by suggesting that I did not need the expensive underlayment recommended by Lumber Liquidators which I returned. I will NEVER go to Lumber Liquidators again and have told everyone I know that this was a terrible experience.

We just bought a new house where all the flooring was carpeted and did not match our style of furniture. It was also saturated with urine from the former dog. The first call I did with Lumber Liquidators was only for pricing information. They said they had several different products and it would probably be the best for me to come into their store, which I did. When I was at the store, I reviewed with their agent what hickory products they had, told him what I wanted, and they set me up with whatever the potential sales price was on that particular day. I purchased 700 square feet (34 boxes) of hickory. We have a main floor that already has hickory wood on it and I was trying to match on the upstairs level.
The cost for quality seems to be pretty right on. I price-shopped with a couple of different places such as ProSource and with them, the floor would cost me about $3,800 for unfinished lumber. I went to a lumberyard and they didn't carry hickory so I couldn't even get it from there. Meanwhile, Lumber Liquidator came out to be around $3,400 for a finished product with the only difference being the three-inch flooring and five-inch plank.
It was a very good experience and Lumber Liquidators' people were knowledgeable about their product. I spoke with someone about the difficulties of working with hickory since I've heard from different people that it's a very hard wood to work with - to make sure to season it or leave it in the room long enough. I ran all those questions with the salesperson and was again very happy with the answers he gave me. He was very helpful. I'm very pleased with the product and the sales team, and I would definitely recommend them to other people who are looking to purchase floors.

At the time we did not check for any damages. Once home we unloaded and as my wife and I were unloading we notice the terrible conditions of some of the boxes. Gave the flooring time to adjust to our home and then began to lay flooring. As we open several boxes it was apparent that there was damage. Many pieces tongues crushed, flooring chipped. We were able to use but many pieces were no. We had one partial box and one full box left over.
We did take one full box back to Baton Rouge store and showed the manager what we were dealing with. He, himself was ashamed and apologized. We went to look at pricing one day and while we were there, we were not only told what was best for our house and budget but that we should come back later in the month for a sale that was to be released. They even called us to remind us to come in for it. We initially went to buy a lot of cabin grade wood but decided that the length of the shorter boards was not what we wanted and we had kids that we didn't want to get splinters from rough pieces. We decided on another type of floor that was Grade 1 and would have longer boards. We took advantage of that mid month sale and it saved us over $1000.
We ended up getting a better flooring than originally priced and the quality was simply stunning. We installed ourselves and it was easy to do after being quickly tutored by the staff. There was no pressure, no sales pitch and no shame implied in doing it ourselves. They told us to expect about 5% waste from the boxes and we have not had any waste at all. The color variations were perfect and it's a natural bled of our reddish cabinets and the dark wood trim of the living room.
We have enough wood left over to do the upstairs hallway as a result. The recycled tire padding was just enough to mute the sound but not so much as to make it harder to nail into the floor. We bought the nail gun and have not regretted that choice at all as we can take our time to do the floors at our own pace. The process and experience was not at all what I expected. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for wood flooring on a budget!

We acquired a property that has a rental apartment which hasn’t been serviced in 25 years, so my wife and I were scrambling to get in a liveable condition so we could get it rented. The sales rep from Lumber Liquidators was pretty good, definitely better than average for a lot of places. I explained what I wanted and that I was looking for wood floor. I asked what product the sales representative recommended based on the fact that it was a rental property and I wanted the hardest floor available. They recommended bamboo which they said was the hardest product that they had. The price point was okay for us for what we’re doing. It was $2.79 on sale, but there was a little bit of pressure with, “It’s on sale right now for $2.79, but the sale ends the 31st.” And I was up there the other day and they had the same sale tag on it that ends April 30th.
I like the quality of the product as far as the feel of it. It didn’t feel like a cheap laminate. I was really surprised at how well it went down. This apartment is built at a barn and it’s on the second deck in the loft area, and the floors are not perfect because the barn is thirty-plus years old and some of the structures have warped over the years. I didn’t want to have to deal with trying to replace all that, so I made a judgement call that by using a click-and-lock system that had a little bit of flex in the boards, that it would probably eat that up okay and it did. I laid the good underlayment down under it, and it went down and looks really good. I was able to carry the flooring through the living room into the bedroom without creating a threshold and just let it flow from one room into the other. It all went together great, so I was very happy.

I have worked with different people and every one of them that I talked to definitely knew about the floor. Any questions that I had that I wasn’t sure of, they answered and anything that I thought, they either verified or gave me a different way. Each one of them really seem to know what they were talking about. It’s definitely a nice company to buy from.
Thank you Jennifer. We take great pride being industry leaders with the most knowledge about flooring, in fact we often see Big Box and local providers calling LL for advice. Not only do we have the best prices and quality, our people make a difference and it shows with your response - THANK YOU! Keep telling everyone!!!!

I bought bamboo flooring from Lumber Liquidators because of their price, quality and customer service. I went to a different Lumber Liquidators where we purchased from to look at the flooring, and they were very helpful, friendly and nice. Then I called one that was closer to our home and did everything over the phone. He was very helpful and informative. He knew the product and was able to get it all done and correctly over the phone. My husband had to make a couple of trips to pick up all the flooring and they were very helpful and had everything ready for him, which was nice. They also helped him get them into our vehicle as well so he was happy.
We love the flooring. My husband did part of it and then he had hired out somebody else to finish. Because it’s bamboo, it’s a harder material to work with. Even the guy that did the hardwood flooring made it sound like he had never worked with bamboo before and that it was really tough. But once it started going down, it was easier. My husband said that the size and the width of the board made it easier. As far as quality and how it looks, it looks great. We’re very happy with it. If ever we need flooring again, I’m sure we would be using them again.

If I could give the Lincoln, Nebraska store no stars, I would. My husband and I bought $4,500 of Bellawood solid hickory flooring at the end of November as part of a whole-house remodel. We paid for a professional measurement, which turned out to be less than professional. We let them quote installation, but the price was so inflated we went a more reasonable way. As it turns out, after the floor is completely installed, we have 8 boxes too many!! The equivalent of $800. When we tried to return only 6 today (saving extra to match), the store manager pointed out a return document in a pile of paperwork they made us sign at pick-up that limited returns to 30 days. WHAT?!
To boot, there is a 20% restocking fee regardless. REALLY? We had to load the entire 43 boxes ourselves the first time with no employee help. The manager was rude to me. He admitted that he could return the 6 boxes but refused to. We have a complaint in at the corporate level. Hopefully they are more professional. BIG customer service mistake... Beware... Do not work with this store. This is the ultimate scam. Sell the customer waaay more than they need then refuse to return it. Wonderful.

We purchased a hardwood floor and everything went fine. We knew what we wanted, so Lumber Liquidators didn't have too much opportunity to explain anything else. Only thing I didn't like was when we finished everything, I had unused leftovers, which was opened in Lumber Liquidators when I was buying it, and when I tried to return it, I had a very hard time getting my money back. But other than that, my wife and I are happy and all the while, it’s a positive experience. I would recommend them.

Lumber Liquidators have a variety of bamboo flooring and since they were the closest store to the house, we bought our Antique Hazel bamboo flooring from them. I like the way it looks and installing it by myself was simple. The cuts are a little annoying and frustrating though. It's my first time with bamboo so I'm trying to get used to it because I've had red oak natural flooring before, which was a little bit sturdier and harder.

I canceled my order with Lumber Liquidators. My son measured the floor but did it in inches. When I asked the salesman how many feet I was going to need, and what the footage was, he figured my son measured it in inches. So it came out to one amount, and then their man around came out with 50 feet more. I said no to that, because it's going to cost me another $100, and I didn't have that. I realized that I need a little extra in case of problems, but 50 feet was a lot, so I cancelled. In addition, I only had 150 feet, and there's a minimum of 250 feet, so I have to pay for 100 feet that I wasn't getting done. The salesman was nice, but when I called and asked him about the difference, he was snippy. I guess he got annoyed because I was cancelling. He said he wasn't happy, but I didn't want to pay $200 for work that I wasn't going to get done.
However, they were very nice when I went in, and there was somebody with me the whole time when I was picking out a design and everything. I've never had hardwood floors before, and I didn't understand nailing and gluing, but he explained it to me. Now they have a new flooring which clip together, and I'm getting that. It's just tongue and groove. It snaps in, and then you can put it down without nailing or gluing. I asked if it would bubble up because I was afraid it might buckle, and the rep said no, and there's a 30-year guarantee.

We got a distressed bamboo floor from Lumber Liquidators. We actually never considered bamboo, but when their sales staff showed us its features and benefits, we went with it. They were really helpful and we liked their offering in the store. We then hired a team for the installation, which went easy. The quality of the flooring was really good, although for the next one I would have to consider not to buy a floor with the same length plank. Because the flooring came with a six-foot length and we were doing quite of a wastage especially in the tricky areas, otherwise we'll have a rough end connecting.

We've had a pretty good experience with Lumber Liquidators and I really enjoy their product. When we bought the house, the previous owners never did any upgrades and it has old carpet so we had it changed to solid hardwood bamboo. We did our upstairs floor and we're looking to do the bottom floor by the end of this year. A friend of mine installed it and it wasn't so difficult because he used glue. So far, I find the quality of their flooring to be good, however, I don't like that I was charged the re-stock fee.

There was one person on the floor helping people and the person at the desk was very nice. We spent 15 minutes of interaction in the store. They didn’t have the sample that we needed so they had to go into the back and get it. It took a while, but it was not the fault of the salesperson, so it was fine. I'm sure if I went somewhere else, the cost would probably be a little bit higher. I feel I got a good deal from Lumber Liquidators. I installed the flooring myself and got it done real quick. During installation, our installer realized that we were missing a piece to fit the fireplace hearth. Bottom line, the initial quote and order included all necessary product but somehow the order was not placed correctly. The store was called and we were told that the piece was out of stock. The installer and the Lumber Liquidator representative argued on the phone... The installer claiming "this is not the first time this has happened." The piece was ordered and was to be shipped FedEx. The installer was to return alone to finish the project. A date along with a confirmation that the piece had arrived was arranged with the installer.
The installer failed to show without notice 3 times before he finally came. I had to contact his company to "ride him" and get him here. Plus the work was disappointing. The molding was cut unevenly to fit the floor boards under and useless markings were made on my freshly painted walls. The hearth trip was not matched well in the corners and residual adhesive can be seen where it was applied too heavy. To top it off, I attempted to contact the store manager Stephen by phone and email and did NOT get any response. VERY DISAPPOINTING! Was planning on having additional rooms upstairs done, but I will go elsewhere!!

I bought around 3,000 SQ Feet of Brazilian cherry (Bellawood), which has 100 years of warranty. The Boards were cut poorly and the thicknesses of the planks are not the same, as some of the boards are thicker than others. Also some of the wood is tapered in the end, so no matter how hard you try; it will leave the gap in the floor. The main issue lies in the milling of the wood as it was not cut correctly. We noticed about 25% of wood has this issue. We installed about 200 sq. ft. and then we have to stop the installation as it has unacceptable gaps and cracks. I contacted the store and showed him one box which was bad, and the store manager agreed it was bad wood and said he will send somebody to do the inspection, but nobody will come to do the inspection.
I opened up a case with LL, and my case was assigned to somebody in Georgia. The customer service rep was difficult to find over the phone, and you have to leave considerable amount of voicemails to call him back. He said he cannot send somebody to do the inspection of the wood but said he will have FedEx pick up one box of wood to examine, but they did not send anybody even after repeated calling and sending an emails. This whole ordeal lasted over a month and I end up returning the unopened hardwood floor boxes to store at 80%, and incurring a loss of 5K.

We purchased the Dream Home 12mm Sandy Hills Hickory laminate flooring and placed throughout the entire main area of our home. We heard about flooring from LL releasing toxic levels of formaldehyde and after confirming our flooring was one of the potential types, we hired an environmental and engineering services firm to test the FLOOR specifically. We got the results back last week that came back POSITIVE... In fact way above the CARB standards that are stamped on the product boxes...
Over the past year my husband and I have had numerous respiratory and eye irritant symptoms. I am also 6 weeks pregnant (so have been breathing it in for first 5 weeks of my pregnancy) and have a four year old who has been breathing this carcinogen in for the last two years. This is a very dangerous and concerning situation for us.
We had to move out immediately (advised by the lab and firm we hired) and are paying rent to stay somewhere until further notice. We also, obviously, have to replace the flooring... I have reached out to Lumber Liquidators through phone and email but unfortunately haven't heard anything just yet. As of now, I cannot recommend them to anyone, BUT I am hopeful that the company will make this situation right...

Our home was built in the early 2000s and the carpet is at that point where it was time to do something with it. And so we decided to update our floors and we decided to go with some hardwoods. We bought 300 square feet of the Brazilian Chestnut Bellawood from Lumber Liquidators. We went over to the store three times. First, was to look at the different options/flooring available. We were looking for a prefinished floor. The sales rep gave us the different options, the pros and cons of each and we landed on the Bellawood. Next, was to pay for the order, and finally, to pick up our order. They also kept us informed of what the status of the order was and when it was gonna be in through telephone calls.
Everything was really good with them, and we're happy with the wood itself. We love the way it looks. Also, everything that Lumber said they would do, they did on time. They kept us informed, and if we had questions, they had good answers for us. I'm pleased with where we're at. We're looking at doing a couple more rooms and probably well go back to the same place. Very satisfied.
