Lumber Liquidators provides an easy to view product in their stores and provides useful assistance during purchase and planning. They have simple ordering for items not already in stock. The ordered product was promptly delivered to the store and the pickup process was easy. They represent a reasonable value and quality product relative to price.

Their service is wonderful. I've been there several times. Whenever I go there, I would have a friendly conversation with a salesperson. The manager is a wonderful guy. I always felt very warm in my heart. I have recommended the Lumber Liquidators to my friends and said a lot of good things about this shop. I will definitely go back if I need any hardwood floors. I will highly recommend this shop.

We like Lumber Liquidators and bought our original flooring and had it installed by them. This was a repair from water damage in our kitchen. We ordered the flooring, and paid for a quote to have it repaired. We did not hear back from them on a quote. We called someone else and had it repaired with them and let the store know we never got our quote. They said they would refund the fee to us. That has not happened yet. When our contractor finished putting in the new flooring, he showed us the remainder of the flooring in the box, which had several pieces of damaged flooring. It looks like it has been crushed. I don't know how to rectify these issues so I am mentioning them here.
Hi Patti,
Thank you for sharing your concerns. I am sorry to hear there has been a delay in receiving your refund and the damaged box of flooring. I will be reaching out to you directly to address your concern.

I have called customer care on two occasions asking someone in management call me. Not the local store manager. I was told I would receive a call. Three weeks later I have not received a call to address issue. Contractor failed to show up for installation appointment causing me to miss a day's work with no pay. I will use another company for the other rooms of my home. Ten thousand worth of business lost due to poor customer service and local store manager with an attitude. I'm still waiting for the regional manager to call. Someone might now because of this review but I doubt it.

They guided me in the purchase and I could not be happier with my flooring which was Acacia Tobacco Road. Outstanding people to deal with. Thanks.

I special ordered stair nose and reducer for a project. The 1st stair nose was warped. Had a bad bow that I found after cutting to size. Off by 1/2 inch. Couldn't make it fit without gaps. The second piece I ordered was also warped but I did force it into place. The reducer was fine and the flooring also fine. Seems to be a problem with stair nose quality for the price charged. There should not be this warping problem.

We paid $1,000 down for 50 yr warranty flooring ($1,361.10 balance financed thru LL) and they shipped 36 boxes of 30 yr warranty flooring. We asked for immediate exchange for the 50 yr warranty flooring we paid for. First, we were told we got 50 yr flooring, it just came in wrong boxes (all 36 boxes!). Then we were told to "take it up w/the corporate office" and get extended 20 yr written warranty from them. This was not acceptable to us & we again asked them to exchange our flooring w/50 yr warranty ON THE BOX. We were told no, they would not exchange our flooring - period.
We were then told we could bring the 36 boxes back to their store & they would deduct the shipping fees to return wood to China, plus they were going to charge us several hundred for delivering wrong wood to our house! Essentially, they were telling us not to expect much refund on the $1,000 deposit we gave them on 7/9/17. We told them no deal, we would contact 7 On Your Side & if this didn't work, then civil court & we couldn't wait to hear judge's response to 36 boxes of bamboo flooring being put into 30 yr warranty boxes when it was 50 yr warranty bamboo flooring.

I bought this flooring by looking at the samples. When we opened a box, there were markings on the flooring that didn't show up on the sample. Which we didn't care for, so called and told a Guy that answered our problem. We asked to return it, and get something different. He told us, if we had opened any of the boxes, he couldn't take them back?? We told him all we did is open one box, and never removed the flooring. Just seeing it was enough to know we wanted something different. He said there is nothing he could do if we had removed the plastic covering, he said he couldn't sell it like that??
We are going room to room pulling carpet, and installing wood flooring, and thought we would be buying all our flooring thru L.L. Not anymore. We still have all this flooring sitting that we don't want, why go back to getting screwed another time!! Will buy the flooring we want, from Anybody but L.L. after this and I have already spread the word on how we were treated.

We purchased 600 sq feet of flooring from staff at Lumber Liquidators in South Florida. We were told it was a engineered hard floor. When the installer came to install he commented on the laminate and asked why we were installing it. I phoned Lumber Liquidators and they said he was wrong, we installed the floor and it looked like laminate and was awful. We have removed the floor one week later and have had real engineered flooring installed purchased from an another supplier. We wasted $2000 plus laying costs due to the staff not being honest and selling a product that wasn't engineered wood. They knew we wanted engineered hard wood for our condo and mislead us. What a waste of money and hopes.

We had a measure for a loft/hallway area for bamboo flooring. We purchased the floor but, the individual neglected to notice that there would have been a 1/2 gap in front of the step. After numerous calls, we finally were refunded. We would have went with a different flooring but after that had no confidence in their installation service.

Ordered several boxes of wood flooring on a separate order because they were discontinuing that particular line. Most of the wood was not usable, dented, warped, scratched. I had to throw a lot away. Because of that I had to order more wood to finish my project. But the same kind was gone. So I had to order the next closest thing. Well we had the same problem most of the wood in the new box, this order # was garbage. I used what I could and the rest was thrown away. I spent a lot of money of trying to get a nice wood floor and a lot was a waste. I feel I deserve a partial refund.

At the time I was ready, I bought the hardwood floors from them. They delivered the hardwood floors within a week that it was available. I had my contractor do the installation and it took them two days to do the whole flooring for the house. They installed it last week and they also did another work on the floor. So far, it looks good. I like the wood color, the texture and the quality is really good. On the quality of service, Lumber Liquidators seems like the best.

CCP Click Ceramic Plank came out at Lumber Liquidators March 23rd and on the 24th I purchased it. Beautiful Port Haven Oak flooring. To have them install it cost more than the flooring and was told that experienced do-it-yourselfer could put these floors in... it's that easy. Within days of installation I noticed the ends were lifting and breaking off even in areas that I haven't walked on. The local branch requested that I send the pictures to corporate because it was a new product they wouldn't know what to do.
The corporate branch in Toano Virginia is a joke. After countless phone calls and emails they finally come back with that they couldn't help me so I requested someone to come out and look at them. They sent a third-party out and I was told it was due to installation. There wasn't enough expansion room around the perimeter of the rooms which clearly my pictures show otherwise. Under their own website it clearly states that with the new CCP flooring no expansion room is necessary.
They offered me $1,300 or a store credit which neither is satisfactory. This new product cost 3.69 square ft and I purchased 1000 sq ft. Looking over the reviews this seems to be a normal practice for this company. Sell the product then ignore the phone. I just bought this home and have spent months trying to get this resolved. My telephone number is ** for anyone else who is having similar problems on this new flooring. They insist they back up their product. All I'm asking is they prove it.

The reclaimed simulated wood flooring that we got from Lumber Liquidators was priced well. Our interactions with the salesperson went fairly well. He helped us and gave us some ideas. I asked him a few questions about the installation like what I needed to do and he gave me some tips on that as well. I was pleased with the person that I worked with at Lumber Liquidators. After I got everything that I wanted, he loaded them up. But I have some other things that I need to do before I put the flooring down, so right now the flooring is still sitting around and waiting to be done.

I had my carpet stairs replaced with hardwood. First, I went to the store on May 20, 2017, explained what I wanted, and set up to have someone come out to measure everything and provide an estimate. I was called very shortly afterward, and an appointment date and time were set up for May 24. 2017. The installer came on the 24th, and said his boss would call me either later that day or the next day with the quote. This installer did not ask about, or say anything about having raised stair noses when he was at my house on this occasion. I did not receive any communication until June 1, 2017, when I received a voicemail from Jason asking me if wanted to go over the quote I received. I called him back, and let him know I had not received anything, not a phone call, not an e-mail, and nothing in the mail.
I went to the store, I believe on June 3, spoke with Jason in person, and explained to him about the project. We discussed tile versus wood, and Jason said wood would be better because there were not stair noses available for tile (I believe he called his tile installer to confirm this). I brought in a piece of my current flooring, so we could try to find the best match. My girlfriend and I decided on the product (engineered Savannah Beech), and made the order. I told Jason we decided on white risers. We ordered the product, and Jason said some of the product was not in the store (I don’t remember if it was the stair noses or the wood) and would need to be shipped to the store. At no point did Jason explain anything about the noses needing to be raised above the rest of the flooring material.
I received a call on June 14, 2017, informing me all of the product had arrived, and it was ready to be picked up. I picked up the product on the 15th, and immediately brought it to my house to acclimate. I received a call on the 15th to set the installation, which we set up for the June 19, 2017, at approximately 8:30 am. The installer called at 9:18 am, then arrived at 9:48 am. At this point, the installer looked at all of the material, and did not mention that the stair noses would not be level with the rest of stairs. The installer removed the carpet, and installed the first stair, then let me know after the installation that stair nose was raised.
He stated it had to be this way because the stair nose was different material (I assume laminate as opposed to the engineered hardwood.) At this point, I did not know what to do. The installer said it had to be that way. Further, I could not walk on the stairs to see how it felt. The installer finished one set of stairs on the 19th, and came back on the morning of the 20th to finish the second. After he arrived, I called the store on the morning of the 20th, because I was not happy with the stairs at this point. I believe I spoke with Ben, as he said Jason was not working until Thursday (June 22). I explained the situation, and Ben looked into the order, and said at this point, there was not much that could be done, and that the raised stair noses were standard.
I called on the store on June 21, 2017, and asked to the lady who answered to leave a message for Jason to call me as soon as he got work on the 22nd. I called the store at 12:30 pm on the 22nd, as I had not received a call, and was told Jason was out of the store (I think I was told he went to the bank). Jason returned my call 3:38 pm. I explained to him the situation and my displeasure with the raised stair noses. I was not happy with the responses I was given. I said this was never explained to me in the store when I placed the order. Jason at first said that he did explain it and show it to me, then he said that he showed it to both my girlfriend and me, and then said that he remembered showing to my girlfriend when I was in different part of the store. First, HE NEVER EXPLAINED / SHOWED THIS TO ME. Second, HE NEVER EXPLAINED / SHOWED IT MY GIRLFRIEND AND ME TOGETHER.
Third, my girlfriend stated he did not EXPLAIN / SHOW anything to her separate from me. To reiterate, he did not either tell us, or physically show us that the stair nose would not be level with the rest of the flooring on the steps. We were not even shown the stair noses in the store to see if they matched the flooring I ordered. I can understand that he Jason works with a lot of different customers, and might not remember this correctly, but to say that he explained this to us is NOT TRUE. To say that he explained it my girlfriend is also very poor on his part, as it was evident that I was person who was making the order, the order was in my name, he spoke with me on the phone about the estimate, and I paid for it with my credit card. It does not make sense that he would explain this very important part about the stairs to someone other than me. But again, as I stated above, he never explained / showed it at all.
Also, Jason said that this method was standard for stairs. This cannot be true. As a course of my employment, and in my private life, I go into houses and buildings daily, and can tell this is not standard. As Jason continued to say this me, I felt like he was insulting my intelligence. There was not raised nose under the carpet beforehand, so why would I want to add raised noses? I feel like I have been taken advantage of by Jason, and by Lumber Liquidators, in this process. I don’t know if the employees thought I was just some uneducated person who they could sell bad product and service to, or if it was just poor communication from the employees. Regardless, I feel as if this was handled poorly, and I have been victimized in this situation.
The stairs both look and feel horrible. The edge of the stair nose are not flush with the side of the stairs. I can see the unfinished edge of the stair nose as I walk into my house. I believe if the stair nose were level with the rest of the stairs, this would not be visible. Walking on the stairs is uncomfortable, as any hard, even surface is uncomfortable to walk. I feel as this is not safe, as there is now a built-in trip hazard. Submitted completed complaint form on 07/04/17, have not received a response. E-mails / phone calls not returned.

We spent 5400 dollars on a floating floor which we were told would do great in our kitchen and stand up to our two large dogs. We had it down for less than a month and started noticing bubbles. When we called in March and repeatedly sent them the information and pictures they requested we finally in July got an appointment for someone to come and evaluate our floor. In August I finally called for an update. After repeatedly asking our claims person for information he finally put me on hold and suddenly had the report. He then told me our house had high levels of dampness and humidity and that was what made our doors damaged. When I told him our house was dry and never had issues with dampness he stated the evaluation showed high numbers. I asked how could a floor your salesman said would be good in a kitchen not be good with moisture.
He said he couldn't give us a refund for the boxes we had waiting for our upstairs or for the floors that were installed on our main floor but he would give us 500$ as a goodwill gesture. I told him that wasn't acceptable, especially since we had waited since March for a reply from them. He said that was all he could do even when I explained to him that the evaluation had to be wrong because we had a brand new heater, air conditioner, and dehumidifier for over a year. Still he said there was nothing he could do. When I asked to speak to a manger, he said none were available. When I said I'd hold he said I couldn't, when I asked for a name he said he couldn't give me a manager's name. Be careful buying anything from Lumber Liquidators, their salesman, according to their claims people, aren't floor installers, so don't know what they're really selling us, I guess!!!

We had been looking for a while for the right deal to update our floors. Lumber Liquidators had a return product that was half-priced, so we bought the 3/4-inch teak hardwood floors from them. We talked to the sales rep about pricing because we had been shopping around. We also asked a bunch of questions to make sure that we didn’t have any issues with the installation. The rep was knowledgeable and answered all our questions.
Then we did the installation ourselves. But the state of the floors wasn't completely what they said it was going to be. Some of the floor boards had already been used and nailed down previously, and we pulled these back up and put them back in the boxes. Since we bought the whole lot and the floor boards were more than we needed, we had enough to do the installation, but we didn't have as much leftover floor boards as we were expecting to have. On the whole, however, the people at Lumber Liquidators were very knowledgeable about flooring and installation.

First of all, I love the product, but the customer service is much to be desired. We first decided to put down laminate flooring in my office and we loved it so much that we decided to do two more rooms in our downstairs. I measured the bathroom, took the measurements to the store, picked out what we wanted and they ordered the proper square footage for that room. After five days they called me and said that my flooring was in and it could be picked up. After arriving home with my flooring I put it in the room that it was to be installed and like they recommended for a weekend project. Friday evening after work I took the baseboards all off, pulled the commode, clean the floor and put down the underlayment.
Saturday morning when I got up to get an early start, I opened the box and proceeded to lay down the flooring and all was going well until about half way across the room when I opened up another box and it was the wrong color. I then grabbed another box and yes it was the wrong color as well. Now, I got half of my room done, NO toilet and can't even finish this project that I thought that I would be able to do in one weekend and instead I cannot finish it.
When I contacted the store they told me that I could bring those two boxes back that was wrong and they would order the replacement so when I went to the store to drop off the two boxes they told me that they would order it and it would be in in roughly a week. I ask them if they could overnight this product and the employee just laughed and said, “No that's not going to happen.” So now I got a bathroom half done, no toilet to use for another week. We love the flooring so much that we decided to do the whole upstairs, now my decision is to go back to Lumber Laminators or try another place to see if I can get the same quality but just better service.

The floors in my home were a little warped and I didn't know that because I had carpet on them for so many years. When I lifted up the carpet, I left the shower run over it and it warped in the hallway. I had to replace the hardwood flooring and I looked at a lot of places like Home Depot and Lowe's but they didn't have it. I went to Lumber Liquidators and when I walked in with the sample, the representative was waiting on another customer but he showed me where it was. He was good and already knew what I was looking for. We got everything done there within a half hour and they loaded the product for me. So, I was satisfied with that after looking everywhere else. I went in at Lumber Lumber Liquidators a couple of times and they really pleased me good.
The flooring comes in bundles that I paid for about $100. It was good to work with and the installation took me about four days as I kept doing a section at a time. The quality is also good and it worked out great because it fit right with the wood that I have in the house which has been in there since the late 40's. The flooring looks good and I’ve taken pictures of it which I showed to the guys at church then told them where I found it.

Store sales representative said flooring was simple to install but in reality it is a pain to install as a DIY person. The store representative was more helpful with getting information than the Corporate Customer Care people. Had a problem signing into my account, customer care gave me the email they showed and I said when I tried to do a password recovery it tells "Sorry, we cannot find the user with the email address **." Then she informs me that I must have a problem with my computer even though it is their site telling me it can not find an account associated with the email they showed. So I called the store that I purchased the flooring at and Chris was happy to look up my account and email me a copy of the invoice to the email that their site could not find a user for.
Now to the real issue, I did not get to start installing product until now due to other projects and remodeling so the warranty is up on the product. Purchased it when I did because it was supposedly on sale but now I see that their sale price is the normal price because it is still on sale now at the same price it was when I purchased it in December.
Instructions do not give a DIY person a good explanation on how to install flooring. When following the instructions it is extremely hard to install each tile and the click lock on the short end starts coming apart when you start putting the long end in. This requires you to remove the piece and start over which results in the locking tab breaking off.
So I decided I did not want the tile and when I called Customer Care I was informed that it was past the 30 day return and the 90 day manufacture defect time. But they offered to have FedEx pick up a box of the Tile to send back to Corporate for them to test for defects. In other words waste more of my time so they could tell me that there is nothing wrong with the product because their professional installers had no problem with it. Do not recommend buying this cheap made Chinese products Lumber Liquidators sells and does not backup.

Knowledgeable Staff -- Not Good Customer Service: I received a good education about engineered flooring and various types of hardwood flooring -- including bamboo. The sales reps obviously know their stuff. The product, however, is not as good as expected. I was not advised that special staples were required for the installation because the engineered floor boards were so thin. And most importantly, the installer that Lumber Liquidators vouched for and highly recommended, over measured the base molding needed for the room by 35% and had me order the wrong transition piece. When I called the store to advise them of the problems, knowing that I could not return these items because we had pre-painted the molding and my contractor cut the transition piece the store manager offered me no assistance or discount for a proper transition piece.
Even though I needed less than 3 feet of the material I was told I could not get a discount or credit or anything. In my opinion it was terrible customer service after all the money I spent with them. Because of that, I did NOT purchase the hardwood flooring for the rest of my house from them. A simple gesture that probably would have cost the store less than $10, wound up costing them a lost sale of over $4,000.

I'm a contractor and I work with everybody. But with the advertisement Lumber Liquidators had, I went to check it out. I found what the customer wanted and I went back there to pay and pick the wood up. That's when the problem came. I was given a check for something that was supposed to be delivered three weeks later. I was about to buy about 2,000 square feet wood, gave the kid my check and he looked at me as if I had three heads and then he went away. Then he came back and I asked him what the problem was 13 times. Finally, he gave the check back to me and told me I had to call my bank. So, I walked out and didn't buy anything because it was taking too long and a little too confusing. As I was walking out, the manager told the kid that he should have called but the kid was too lazy to call the bank to get the code because it was almost $5,000.
As a contractor, I don't wear a suit and a tie, and I come in all scruffy. Maybe they see a guy that shouldn't be giving away $5,000 checks and the kid got nervous. LL should get somebody that's a little more in the world and able to pinpoint who's who. They should also get somebody with a little more experience in customer service and handling of large amounts because, for me, $5,000 is not that much. I've had customers spend up to $20,000 just on tiles for their living room. Lumber Liquidators is a good place for somebody that doesn't know much. They have the knowledge and they got a great selection. The price was also good but I couldn't take the customer service. I need to get in, purchase, get out, have it delivered.

We used Lumber Liquidator's 3/4-inch raw, unfinished oak flooring to repair the floor that was damaged when we ripped up carpeting in my sister's house. I called first to see if it was possible to purchase the product and then I drove to the store and the people were very nice. I thought that there would be many bad pieces in the bundle of wood but I was pleasantly surprised that it was good throughout. I picked the right thing on the first try, it matches perfectly. And the price was also fair.

I purchased a 5 ½-inch hardwood from Lumber Liquidators because I did an extension and I had to put a new floor. At first, when I bought stuff, the employees were nice. They’re not professional but the manager girl was okay. She wanted to wrap it up quickly and not giving me too much chance. And what they ask, that’s not what they were keeping up with. I told them what I need and they gave me the price. They checked from the warehouse at the back of the store and they had the stuff. I ordered a delivery truck, it came and I picked it up in the same spot. Then, when I had to come to bring the wood back, they were totally unprofessional. They didn’t make it convenient for the price I was paying.
They brought the boxes out and I started putting them in the truck. Then, I saw the floor was damaged. I told the girl that one side of the plank was cut. It’s not supposed to be. I showed it to her and she said that it’s probably one box only. She took out the money for the box, but I paid the rest. Since she’s taking out that money and I need 15 feet extra, I told her I’ll buy another box. And she gave me that one box for free. I told them I’m a contractor. And I’ll go home and I’ll match that wood and try to fix it because I like the gray color very much. So then, we went along and paid the price for the merchandise and I took it home. Then, the next day, I had to bring it back.
First of all, I took pictures. I had to unload my truck and take it inside my house, carry all the boxes and put it on the floor. I’m supposed to keep it in the room for at least 48 hours. But the next day, when I opened it just to see, they have all different colors. I can understand a little variation but we’re talking about charcoal and light gray. So, I got pissed because I lost my day. I had to do other things. I opened four boxes and it was the same story. So, I had to bring it back to them. When I came in, I opened it and showed the girl. She was trying to help me, looking at me and all she was saying was they cannot return the money but I can take other stuff. I told her I don’t want other stuff and this is the color that I like. The theme of my room is gray and they don’t have any other gray. I don’t want anything else from them and I want the money back.
I asked her why they are asking me to take the store credit for giving me faulty goods. Somebody packed up these boxes and they are selling it again. And I cannot work with the colors. So then, this guy came, who was supposedly working in the store. I was upset and I was like, “Okay. My God.” And I was shaking my head. He came to me and asked why I was shaking my head. I said, “What? What do you mean? Why do you care if I’m shaking my head or not?” So, he was rude. The girl was apologizing and telling me not to mind him. And then he started fighting this girl, being rude and cursing. And then she went to the warehouse to check with the other guy and then with her boss, back and forth. Then finally, they gave me my money back and put it back into my card. But I kept the underlayment because it was sealed. I paid $290.
It wasn’t a good experience. They were unprofessional and on this store, they don’t have a good system running. I also lost some money with the fare. I called a delivery truck and I took it back home. And I had to bring it back again. Plus, the labor. Lumber Liquidators is not a good company. I purchased better floor from the Chinese people next door on the same day. I understand they don’t have a franchise yet and it’s not a very big store, but what they sell me, that’s what I got. I’m a contractor. I purchase a lot of wood flooring, all different kinds for my clients and for myself. I would never recommend anybody and I would never go back again to this store. That’s not how these franchises should be doing, I understand that if somebody has one store and they have no policy. But these people should have a better policy. It was unprofessional and dishonest.

Sales and service were great, product was on hand the day of purchase. While the floors were beautiful when done, I am really not satisfied with the durability. If you drop something on the floor it marks. Even moving light chairs on the floor marks it. Some marks are very noticeable because you can see the lighter color of the wood. I have had wood floors all my life and never witnessed anything so delicate. Total waste of money.

Through email, even though they said we could call anytime, they sent us copies of our warranty, and several videos dissecting just how to install every step of the way. We couldn't be happier with Lumber Liquidators or their recommended installers. The product we ordered - Virginia Millworks "Burnished Acacia" - has performed at least as well as advertised. We did the entire house except for tiled entry and transition areas. The dark color has brought out the darker streaks in our hickory cabinets and transition tiling, as well as providing contrast with most of our furnishings. Getting rid of all the carpeting has done wonders for my wife's allergies. Since we have two very small but very active dogs, we were concerned about them scratching or marring the finish, but so far (18 months in most of the house), no problem - the surface has held up extremely well!
Because we live in a very small rural community, we were worried about "importing" the installers. We needn't have worried! The two young men who did the installation were prompt, courteous, and amazingly talented!! The scribing work required around the base of our living room fireplace is incredibly well-done. They even helped us move some furniture that was too heavy for my wife and I to handle alone! We'd recommend these installers to anyone. We wouldn't think twice about where to go for wood flooring if we encountered another project - Lumber Liquidators would be our one-and-only call!!

Store Sales Associate purposely gave me inaccurate information about installation fee and the amount of woods that I needed for my master bedroom just to get a deposit from me. They then turn around and denied what they originally told me. The installer did not remove the tapes on the wood floors and clean off the tape residues. The formal estimate was emailed to me on the day the installer started the project. He ran out of woods and I had to go to your store to purchase more woods and glue. They did not have wood and had to order it out of state. In addition they wrote family room as work location. I sent an email requesting a correction because it was my master bedroom. I got a phone message stating that cannot be done since the invoice is already completed. The day I put a deposit for the woods I was not informed the woods was coming from another store, and that I would have to pay extra for delivery.

About ten years ago, I had put down some hardwood from Lumber Liquidators in my family room, my living room and stairway and it's beautiful. With grandkids and pets, if I get a little scratch in it I actually just take a sharpie and go over it, buff it with a cloth and you'd never know. This time, we bought laminated flooring since our carpeting was over 20 plus years old and we wanted wood floors. They have a big selection and their sales representatives were all very good and helpful. The pack that I got was inexpensive because it was just for a bedroom. In terms of cost and quality, it's comparable to Home Depot. It was easy to install and I was able to do it myself with the help of my daughter. I will go back to Lumber Liquidators if I need more flooring.

Overall I am satisfied with the material and selections of your offering. What I did not like as a customer who spend little short for 10k (~2k sq ft) with you was that there was no leniency with the return policy. After completion of the project, which took slightly longer than expected due various reasons I had one roll of the platinum floor isolation left over ($100). The representative at the San Jose store was not willing to take that back.
I understand that it was outside the return policy (30 days) but it's not that the material goes bad or that I took advantage of the system. It accounted for less than a percent of what I spend with your company. I am a return customer and even hired the installer for the first part of the project through you. It's not about the money. Now I have a roll of material left over, in mint condition, which someone else could use but instead destined for the landfill. I am out $100 and you turned a happy customer into someone who had a two star experience.

The crew did a remarkably fast job, which I liked. They were in and out in one day. The only complaint that I had was that where many of the boards ended against a wall, the boards were cut too short and the cuts showed after baseboard was applied. Also, some of the boards that had to be ripped and fitted against a wall were too narrow and the connection didn't hold leaving an open crack after baseboard was applied. Other than those features, we love the look of the engineered bamboo and the feel of it.

The cost was about what I expected — average. The flooring matches and I'm happy. I installed the floor myself. It was a little difficult but that was because it was a repair. After not getting any answers, I then went to the Hampton store where I asked them to rectify the situation and get me in touch with the installer for my estimate. After a lot of back and forth, the installer came to the house after a few weeks. I get home after day 4 (mind you it was only a kitchen, entry and dining room) to find an absolute hack of a job.
In short, we spent A LOT of money on this install and the 'installer' contracts it out to people that are not at all efficient nor do they care about what they call a 'final product'. I then called the Hampton store as well as the supposed installer that contracted it out. He had to send out another guy to fix ALL the work. He looked at me and told me he couldn't sell it to me at that price that they had it listed at. He handed the display to another guy in the store and told him, "Do not put that price tag back on it," right in front of me. I looked back at him and told him that he was wrong and they should have honored that price.
It's not the customer's fault that the store place the wrong price on it and was prepared to pay one thing and now it's something different. How do I know your employee was not going to take the rest of the money for himself. I am big on customer service and that was very poor service. I'll rather take my business elsewhere and pay extra than to be made look like a fool. I've never written a bad review or complained about people before. This just took the cake. I'll NEVER refer anyone to Lumber Liquidators again. Teach employees how to treat customers. I would have never let a customer walk out my store with this taste in their mouth.

Overall the interaction with the store and purchasing of products went well. Spent close to $15,000 on flooring, other materials and installation. Floor installation was average. There were a few areas where there were gaps in the floor at the baseboards. They used a filler to address the issue, not sure that is an appropriate solution. I do believe the job was rushed and the installers used were chosen because they were cheaper labor and the installation company could make more money if they used them.
The biggest issue, and cause of major dissatisfaction was the installation of baseboards. It is clear that these installers had no business attempting to install baseboards. All of the joints where the baseboards were cut are off. The caulking of the baseboards was atrocious. They basically put caulk on their fingers and rubbed it into the nail holes and left the excess on the baseboards. After spending two hours in one bedroom scraping and sanding off the excess I called the Lumber Liquidators store and demanded they get someone to my place to sand off the excess of the caulk and make them paint ready.
After many calls to the store the installation company finally found someone to come and attempt to get this corrected. While Aaron was helpful we could only do so much to correct the situation. If I had more time before move in, I would have requested the baseboards all be removed and reinstalled appropriately. If you are going to advertise that you install baseboards you need to hire finish carpenters who can do the job correctly. In addition to the above, while installing the baseboards they nailed shut two pocket doors! To correct the situation, we needed to remove the section of baseboard, pull out the nails, patch the holes in the doors and reinstall the baseboards. Not at all happy with the experience.

I purchased an engineered wood floor from Lumber Liquidators, initially for 1400 square feet. My installer thought we were running out so I ordered 100 sq. ft. more (had to drive to WPB to get it). They said they couldn't "add" it to my previous order so I couldn't get the sale price of only $1.99 /sq. ft. I think the new price was $2.30/sq. ft. Also the under-flooring which was $20/roll on sale went up to $30/roll. I wasn't too happy about the increased prices, but I ended up NOT needing most and was able to return it, happily. The name is "capstone grey" in beech wood, but it's way more brown than gray. Dark but not espresso with enough variations and no orangey-cherry look.
As far as the product goes - LOVE it! I got a 'distressed' type, looks a little wavy. There were LOTS of little spots that looked like it missed the stain, etc. or imperfections but my installer went around with some stain and a rag and touched up all those spots. There was hardly any waste! I got many, many quotes and they ALL said, "Lumber Liquidators is garbage - don't use them." Well, not true! They lie - they probably get way more profit and that's why you can't find decent flooring for under $4/sq. ft. I spent half that and LOVE the floor. It's been a few months, it is holding up great. I have a few squeaks here and there but that's natural for wood flooring! Love the feel of real wood under my feet! Tons of compliments!! This is the second house I've done the entire house in wood from Lumber Liquidators. I would of course use them again.

I purchased flooring online. In order to pick it up you need the credit card that it was charged on. I was in Virginia and having someone else pick it up. The store worked with me and let me sign the paperwork in a VA store so the product could be picked up by another person while I was away. I purchased the wrong product for one of the floors and at 30 days called to see if I could exchange it. They said, "No problem at all. Just come right in." When I showed up and realized I forgot the sales receipt, they again said no problem and looked everything up on the computer. They happily exchanged the flooring with no issues at all. The manager at this store should be commended on his customer service and willingness to keep customers coming back. The flooring has all been installed and it looks great. I observed how each member of the team were so attentive and personable that l did not mind the wait. Michael ** came over and acknowledged us while offering assistance. The item was discontinued however he contacted two other locations who had some tiles left but there was a process prior to purchase. He was on the phone while checking his emails in hopes of expediting the process if it was in his power.
The female manager overheard the conversation that we were headed to the airport and engaged in conversation as well. We talked about the Bahamas and how she never visited and that she should (smile) but the way they all made you feel must be commended. The icing on the cake was when Michael took something off of the shipping charge. Everything about the atmosphere, the attention they all paid to detail and just the way they displayed warmth naturally, made me feel that my business though small was very much appreciated.
I have two more projects after this one, and l would not hesitate to do business again with them or even if I'm in the area to stop in just to say hi. I would and have highly recommended their location to quite a few people l know. We bought bamboo hardwood flooring from Lumber Liquidators recently. It was the first time we bought something from them and their sales rep helped us look around. We asked them about the kinds of floors, the transaction and the exchange and returns. We installed the units ourselves and they're good. However, we had a couple of gaps that happened but it's because some of the flooring in my stairs has reduced in size. We asked the guys at Lumber Liquidators to give us some tips on installing it and they went ahead and did that. The only thing is that it didn't need to be nailed down because there was one that it clicks. I don't know if that was a good advice because we glued the one on the stairs, but not the rest of it.
We also had a couple of issues where they wrote down the wrong address and we were waiting for the delivery of some of the materials. The guy who was delivering the wood told us he delivered it. But if it would have been another guy, he would have taken it back to the building. Even after calling and telling them that had happened, it happened again because we had to reorder wood. But the guy who delivered it, didn't do what the first guy did. We had to wait an extra week and a half for our flooring to come because of that mistake.

The girl in Lake Elsinore wanted to charge us more to have the flooring delivered. She said that the Corona store didn't have it. But I ended up calling the Corona store and ordering it over the phone and they had it delivered for the original quoted price, so the girl in Lake Elsinore store just lied to me. So I wasn't happy about that. We installed the flooring ourselves and it's easy to work with. However, it's cheap and it started splintering when we mopped it with some water. I went to Lumber Liquidators to get flooring for my kitchen & entry hall. I was told that the flooring I liked wasn't waterproof but almost waterproof, it's very durable - perfect for my 3 large high energy dogs. I told the man they like to run around the house chasing each other & he said the flooring is perfect for that. I had the floor put down by a contractor & a few months later I had a slight water spill - about 1/2 gallon that I immediately cleaned up. The boards ended up warping even though it was cleaned promptly. Within a couple weeks of getting the flooring I noticed a chip in it. Now it's been down for a couple years it's all worn, warped, & looks horrible.
I called their corporate office and nobody called me back. I left a message on their corporate voice mail but I still haven't heard a word in several months. A secondary concern is that LL knows that China is coding the flooring as if it passes U.S. government guidelines for formaldehyde fumes it emits. In the TV show it showed workers at the China plant saying that China knows it doesn't meet U.S. guidelines but LL told them to code it as if it does anyway. More than one worker made that comment. I spent around $800 on the low quality wood & I want my money back & I want the money it will cost to remove it. I can't even get a response from LL. Perhaps you can. Or maybe they've never heard of me like they've told other customers. We can't all be lying.

We thought we might finally be getting to the end of the 6 month ordeal and they didn't deliver the material to do the repair today as they promised. Now all of a sudden, the material doesn't need to be acclimated to the location. I believe that was part of the problem when the original job was done. I needed more so I went to Lumber Liquidators and got the 3 1/4 inch oak rough flooring. The gentleman that serviced me was very good. He was right there and when I asked any questions, he answered. He gave me a price and it was very fair so I bought the product.
Home Depot and Lowe's were asking an arm and a leg and their stuff are junk. Lumber Liquidators' product has a better quality than others. I put it down and it was nice and straight. When I put them together, it seems like they tighten together and there were no spaces in between. It was a small amount of wood but it went together really well. I had no troubles with it as compared to when I was putting the rest of the stuff in before. I still need to buy more though. I told the gentleman that I have a 24 x 26 bedroom area and it's big. He figured the size of the amount of the 24 x 26 area and gave me a very fair price too. He says to come back and if I buy the product again, he'll give me a 10% or a 20% discount. The sales representative said he had it in stock and it would be delivered Thursday. This was on a Saturday. So, that's great. The delivery is $300 since I have stairs. It was a rip-off but I went along with that. I waited for five hours on Thursday. I finally called him and asked for the time of delivery. He said they don’t have most of the order because they have to get the rest from out of state. I told him he didn’t tell me that when I was there Friday or Saturday. I have contractors coming to put the floors.
As it turned out, he put us behind schedule. If he told us out front, it would have been a different story but he didn’t. He said someone had back ordered and he would give it to me the following Sunday. I told him I have the guys coming and he tells me I still have to pick up the remainder of the order. I told him I paid $300 to deliver it. But he says it’s only for the first part. So I told him to take this order and put it where the sun doesn't shine because I’ll cancel it. So that's what I did. I canceled it and I’m going to go someplace else. My installer told me that I was going to have trouble with them and he was right. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but I won’t again. It’s a terrible experience. They're not reliable and they should be more up front with their customers.

All together I had 8 phone calls and 5 trips to the store to try and get the rest of my order, I was even called a liar when I told them the bull nose was not what I ordered. He did later apologize and said "I didn't know we carried that item".
I wrote to the corporate office many times asking for help and no one ever called me to address my concerns. Just an e-mail stating they received my comment and were looking into it (computer generated). After about 3 1/2 months I received the rest of my order. The client was so upset I had to compensate her for taking 3 1/2 months on a 30 day job. I wrote LL and asked for the wood at a discount and never heard back from them. I don't think asking for a 50% discount is too much to ask for after all the problems that I had and going belly up on the job. I lost money and they received full payment. By the way bamboo scratches very easily. So so product, terrible store. Worst supplier I have ever worked with.

It was a little challenging because we were so busy doing so many things. Other than that, it was a great and satisfactory experience.

We purchased some flooring from them a couple of months ago and just now ready to install. Some of the boxes of Calico Oak laminate would not stay snapped together and some had broken pieces of wood inside the grooves. We tried for a week but finally had to take it back. I had heard some bad stories about customer service but Aaron **, store manager from Jackson, MS was very helpful and made things right for us. We have used them before when we put in two other rooms of our house with no problems... A little inconvenience for us but the friendly helpful store manager made the experience much better.

One package came in broken and they fixed it immediately. I’m in the middle of installing it myself and they've been good so far, but it’s only been in for a couple of days. It was pretty easy to work with. It held up when I was trying to make cuts around door frames so I have no complaints about it.

I purchased bamboo floors from Lumber Liquidators. I already had a spec in my mind of what I wanted and the girl who worked there was pretty nice and she helped me out loading the car. I already put the flooring in myself and it was an easy thing to do as I have tools. The experience was good and it was cool because I bought about 800 feet and I had some extra and they took the extra back. The flooring looks good and I’ll see how it holds up.

I ordered separately last time because it’s customized. The sales rep was very nice and so was the manager. They were very cooperative, helpful and explained everything that I wanted to ask. They were friendly and professional, especially on estimating. It’s almost perfect. I was really impressed. I'm planning to do the whole house but I need to do it little by little. The flooring is very nice and easy to clean unlike the carpet before. I’m waiting for a little bit and if there is a sale, I’ll buy more.

I recently bought bamboo flooring from Lumber Liquidators. They were the cheapest around. I walked in their store and the sales rep asked if we needed help. I said, “Not right now. We’re going to look around a little.” When we found what we were looking for, we told the guy we were ready and then placed the order. But there were some sale signs that were put out prematurely. He said that I would have to wait a day or two to get it at that price. And the store is 45 minutes from my house. So, I said, "I’d like to get it for the sale price now if I could." He said he had to make a call. So he made the call and they said they would honor it. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

We paid LL to come measure for the quote and then finalized the quote with the store. On day 3 of the install with our concrete sanded and primed, we were told by the crew that the measurement was wrong and 3 rooms were missing on the quote. We needed more materials, labor, etc. which would cost another $2000 to finish our bamboo floors. The store and installation crew said the measure sheet which required customer's signature was never shown to the customer. The installation crew just halted until we paid the additional money and bought the materials. They also broke our king bed worth over $2000. They shove it into our master bathroom and wedged it between the vanity, closet and toilet. We are happy with the floors but we will never used LL again. We feel that it was scam to get more money out of us. All the way from the measurement to the install being halted.

Lumber Liquidators was advertising promotions, and there was a small discount as well as the 18 months free financing for the distressed bamboo, click-together floating floor that I purchased. The sales rep was very friendly and helpful during the process of choosing a floor at the Grand Junction store. The store manager there was very friendly and polite on the phone, but doesn't necessarily deliver. The follow-through wasn't great. Where we really ran into a snag was when it came to installation. The measurements and lack thereof, and not correctly deciphering what we needed as far as transitions and T-molds was a little irritating. What they ended up doing is not coming out, measuring, and checking out the scene in person, which is what we were told would happen. They called on the phone, asked a few questions, and then decided that they could figure it out. But that wasn't the case.
The manager of the store actually ended up going out of his way to make sure we got the stuff that we needed for proper installation while the installers were there, so that was great. He ended up picking the ball up on that and making it work. But the way that no one actually came in person to look at what's going on and then also just how you get nickel-and-dimed for everything, I felt like the installation was way too expensive and put us over-budget. And by the time I figured that out, it was too late to find out a different solution. But the actual people who installed the flooring did a good job, and I love the floor.

This is a follow-up review to my initial review of my purchase from Lumber Liquidators. Like my first review, we are very happy with the product and everyone that we dealt with at Lumber Liquidators. Our only issue is with the installation company that they use. Watson continued to disappoint us throughout the entire process. Missed appointments, no follow-up, no returned calls until we got Sr. Management at Lumber Liquidators involved.
The crew that eventually did the install showed up at 6:30PM for an appointment that was schedule for 1-1:30. They worked until 10:30 at night with saws, compressors and nail guns which made us really popular with our neighbors since we live in a townhouse with common walls. Watson offered nothing but excuses and assurances that this was not how they normally do business. Lumber Liquidators on the other hand backed but their apologies and offered us a discounted install for all the trouble we had. This company obviously has a firm grasp on customer service and what it takes to achieve it. We will absolutely go back to them when it's time to redo the flooring in the rest of the house and would recommend them to friends and family. Our only caveat would be that next time we probably will seek out our own installation and not trust Watson.

We were looking at one of their top selling LVP products and really liked the looks. The sales staff were great, getting an estimate for installation went smoothly too. We purchased both product and installation from Lumber Liquidators. The install was scheduled for a single day installation for only a 500sqft. area. The day of installation we were given a time for arrival of 8-10. A single person arrived right at 10 AM and started ripping out the existing carpet and pad saying the install crew was about an hour away. After removing the carpet and pad, he swept the concrete floor (no sweeping compound) and created an incredible mess with concrete dust covering our entire house. He left saying the install crew would call when they were 30 minutes away.
At 3 PM I started calling both LL and Watson (installation company) and was assured that they were close and would be there at any minute. I was promised return calls that never happened and Robert the Supervisor for Watson was the worst. The LL staff tried to help and made some calls on my behalf and had a senior manager at Watson call me at 7 PM. He also assured me that now that he was engaged, things would improve. A crew did actually arrive around 7:45 PM to look at the job. They poured an entire bag of leveling compound only after trying several times to convince me that I didn't need any. They promised to be back the next day no later than 1:30 (but probably earlier).
The next day at 2 PM I had to call Robert once again and ask what was going on. He said they were running late but were just finishing up and he would meet them at my home at 3 PM to personally supervise the job. 3 came and went with no calls and no installation team. I called the senior manager at Watson and only got Voicemail. I called the LL store again and the salesperson again assured me she would make calls and get me an answer. Robert finally called at 4 saying they got stuck on the other job and had been working since 7:30 in the morning and didn't even take lunch. I insisted he come over to at least look at the job himself and explain to me what Watson was going to do to get the project back on track.
At this point I have 2 days off from work and still don't have a new floor. In fact I don't even have a home clean enough to sit down in. Robert's only offer was to have the crew come out somewhere around 5:30 or 6:00 and work until the job is finished. He is guessing 4 1/2 to 5 hrs to do the job so that puts contractors in the home until 10 or 11 at night after being on another job since 7:30 in the morning. As of right now I'm still waiting for an installation team to arrive and it's already 5:45. If my carpet hadn't already been ripped out I'd be calling LL to tell them to come get their flooring and I'll go buy from a more reputable company that values telling the truth instead of whatever will get the customer off the phone.

I told him how many square feet I have and that he needed to help me cover my floors and he just laughed but he was really good. The flooring's still in the box and still being acclimated. I'm figuring if a week’s acclimation is good or if I’ll do a month’s acclimation but I haven’t had the time to put it in. This is my first weekend that I’m going to have a downtime and I have a mile-long chore list. Lumber Liquidators should hide thousand dollar bills in random packages and let that be a marketing tool.

When we tried to return the damaged floor that was unusable, we were told that it was ours to keep since the box was opened. How can you not open the box to see if it's damaged or not? By the company's instruction, you have to open the ends of the boxes in the room and let the flooring act-lament to the room. When we laid the flooring some pieces were bowed and knot holes and joints were broken and missing, also split. So how do you not accept a return on the purchase of the damaged wood. They only take back unopened boxes!

On 6/11/2017, I called to schedule a pick up for remaining 16 boxes and was told that I may have the wrong flooring. I was asked to bring in an empty box of what we received. I was then told that the flooring we received and already installed 70% of had been installed incorrectly because we received the tongue and groove version and not the click lock version which I paid for. I was told that I should have or at the least my installer should have known the difference.
I explained to them that neither myself nor my husband were professional installers. This was our first attempt at installing flooring and we had no idea. I was told that I could not return what we had already installed and that I would have to purchase glue. We have already purchased the correct underlayment for the click lock flooring and now I would have purchase glue at my expense for their careless mistake. There was no wrongdoing on my behalf. Why should I be expected to bear the expense of their mistake?
I walked out and called the 800# for Lumber Liquidator and explained what happen to the Customer Service Rep named Terry @ ext **. She said the mistake was on the store behalf since they admitted to given me the wrong flooring. She placed me on hold and spoke with the Asst. Manager Jacob. I was told that I would receive a call from the Manager the next day. I called the store the next morning approximately 11 am and spoke with the Jenny **, Manager. She was apologetic and said that she would work with me to resolve the problem and accepted responsibility for the store's actions.
She went over options and one of them were to keep the floors that we received and that she would give the best quality glue at their expense. I told her that I would talk it over with my husband and call her in a day or so. I called her on June 15th approximately 10 am and told her that we decided to keep the floor and to get the glue. She told me that she would get back with me. I didn't receive a call until 7:30 pm and she left a message saying that I would get the glue at a discounted price instead of free which is what she originally stated. I called her office the next morning and she was not in. I told the assistant manager Jacob that I was not going to pay for the glue we have already paid for underlayment and that under no circumstance was I going to pay additional money to fix their mistake.
It is now June 19th and I have not heard from anyone at Lumber Liquidators. I also filed a claim with Lumber Liquidators case #** on 6/16/2016. I realize that I have not given them adequate time to respond but this is time sensitive. I have cabinets and counter tops schedule to be installed this week. I may incur storage fee for the cabinets and suffer long wait time for counter tops/sinks if I miss this deadline. I have a family of 5 and we do not have a kitchen sink or cabinets. We are eating out everyday and most of my furniture is in the sun room. There is barely any room to walk around and limited access to TVs. I have 2 bedroom that have no flooring. We are walking on top of the underlayment.

DON'T BELIEVE WHAT LUMBER LIQUIDATORS TELL YOU WHEN YOU ASK WHAT TYPE OF FLOOR YOU SHOULD USE IN YOUR HOUSE. Extremely unhappy, after paying over $5000 for floors in a couple of my rooms in February of this year, the floors are all buckling. The store told me that it was installer problem and to contact them. The installer told me that it was the humidity that is causing it. If it is humidity, then why in the world are they selling this floor in Florida. Told me to go out and get some dehumidifiers to lower the humidity to under 50%. We have central air. So now if I want nice level floors, I have to go and get dehumidifiers for the rooms and spend extra on an already high electric bill. And I was told that this may not work. They don't tell you the whole truth when you ask them what type of flooring you should get.

We had just regained an apartment in the house that we owned. It was an apartment we were renting and we looked at the floors. They were not in a bad shape, but they didn’t look nice and we wanted something to make them look better. But there were too many linoleum tiles installed on top of each other, so we couldn’t put hardwood in the way that we wanted to. We purchased the Antique Strand Click Bamboo and a natural-colored bamboo floor that was not Antique but it was also a click solid bamboo floor. Both were Morning Star products from Lumber Liquidators. We went with the Click Bamboo because it was a quicker and a less expensive solution cause I would have to rip up the linoleum and then fix the wood and then try to make sure that it could take nails. It was too much of a gamble.
The sales representative was very helpful. I spoke with the gentleman a number of times. I met him a few months ago and he gave me a few samples. We went back, he told me the differences of the floor and he started telling me which one would be better for my situation. So I thought that the people were very attentive, responsive and informative.
I was nervous about the installation because it was my first time installing a floating floor and I didn't know how that really worked. Also, I've read some things that Click flooring can have like a little bit of warping thing but we let it sit for over two weeks like the gentleman instructed and we were trying to be very proactive with everything that we were doing to make sure that it met all the requirements. But so far, it’s beautiful flooring. It worked out well so I'm really glad that it did.
I hired someone to do the installation and they were good. However, they had a lot of questions at the beginning. It was their first time dealing with bamboo and it cuts a little differently than wood. But the quality of the wood was so good which was what we needed, something that was very durable. They found it easy to work with the bamboo and the clicking was very helpful. They had to adjust the clicking for the floor. The installers said to rip this up and to do it the right way, it was gonna be very costly and very time-consuming, and I didn’t have that much time. I literally had a month in order to do what I needed to do. We only messed up a few bamboo planks figuring out how to cut it because it was a little harder, but it was fine. Right now, the floors look good.
Bamboo is a different material and I got very concerned because you’re not supposed to put any nails on that material. But in one of the tricky areas of the house, they tried to put a nail down and you could see that the bamboo didn’t really take the nail. I had to tell them that they gotta take that out. We can’t put nails there. We did two floors. I bought two different types of bamboo. One was a bigger job, the other one was a smaller job. Once we did the bigger job and we figured out all the kinks, the smaller job was more simpler ‘cause then they knew how to work it.
Also, a very good feature is that I can return the full boxes of unused wood. We bought a little bit extra and the gentleman at the store said that as long as they are unopened. I can open the flaps and then I can bring them back. This is helpful because right now I have three boxes of leftover. I don’t have to pay for that because I wouldn’t have anywhere to put it. I opened the boxes myself to acclimate them into the room so that I knew how they were. The gentleman who installed went one box at a time so that he wasn’t opening random boxes. Overall, it wasn’t a complicated procedure which was great because it was my first time buying this much floor.

When I placed the order I told the sales person that this was the highest price I had seen but Lumber Liquidators was the only store that could deliver the product in a timely manner. It was at that time that the sales person explained to keep a watch on the price of my product as it could possibly go on sale within the 30 day set limitation... which I did, and which it was. There was no mention of the 800 sf prerequisite. The $6.59/sf price was actually advertised on sale for $1.00 off by the manufacturer. When I called this in to Lumber Liquidators I had once again been told by a representative that she did see the difference and all should be approved but had to naturally "pass it up the chain". Again, no mention of the 800 sf prerequisite.
Unfortunately the one star review given above and soon to be given on YELP, Facebook and our local Better Business Bureau was not a result of your product nor of the initial service provided to me, but is a result of a failed promotion and a horrible follow up of the individual I complained to. The insulting follow-up (or lack thereof) has resulted in the finishing of our floors in our home being completed by materials from Floor & Decor. Second to the flawed promotional gimmick is the issue of Lumber Liquidator's (Toni **) decision to go silent... as if I will simply go away. I REALLY look forward to a prompt response from Lumber Liquidators.

Well, the sale occurred but we never heard from the sale rep but luckily I ended up hearing the advertisement on the radio the last day and called to place the order in time. Also, we had someone come out to our house to measure for flooring and they left floor vents off of our order after I made it clear that we wanted them. I called later to order the vents and they told me it would call me in 3 weeks, we are now going on 6 weeks and I haven't heard anything. When I bought my house, it was already carpeted. But my wife has allergies and asthma and carpet holds too much crap in it. The floor was pitched three quarters of an inch to the middle. So I had to rip off all the sub-floor off and raise all the floor joints off. I had a lot of work to do just because my wife wanted hardwood floors which can't hold the bacteria, bugs or dust.
I bought some oak five-inch boards from Lumber Liquidators and now we just mop the floor once a day and it's good to go. It's also beautiful and I love it. I saw another dealer who said that going to Lumber Liquidators was like going to the Dollar Store. But the wood that I got from them was all good. Also, Home Depot only had five-foot lengths while Lumber Liquidators got all different sizes in a box so it makes the floor look a lot nicer. And I got 22 boxes at $138 a box which is not a bad deal because the ones I got were already finished. I've also only had three pieces that were bad in the back. It is what it is and they can't see what's in the box.
I've also had to bring some stuff back but Lumber Liquidators had no problem taking them. Then I had to order another 130 square feet and they didn't have any problem with that either. I ended up putting down 448 square feet of hardwood floor which is a lot of work by myself because it could have been another $2,500 more if I had somebody do it. But a buddy of mine helped me a couple of times to install it. Overall, Lumber Liquidators were very helpful and if I had any questions, they were very good in answering them.

Damon is doing a great attitude and is doing a damn fine job. This was my first adventure into buying flooring and his product knowledge paid off for me. Specifically, Damon gave me assistance in product selection and follow-on order modifications. He provided this excellent service even though the store was obviously understaffed. Because of Damon and your excellent product, I will highly recommend others come to your store and I will for my next project.... Whenever that is.

Purchased 4m tranquility vinyl planking due to the waterproof advertising that was assured to me. Floor was not waterproof and swelled seams. Warranty service is rude and a joke. Buyer beware, as always you get what you pay for. Shame on me. I should have known better. No help on replacement.

Pros: Good prices on flooring, sometimes helpful staff, semi-helpful install videos. Cons: Expensive underlayment; I get so much spam marketing materials now in email and regular mail; some staff members weren't very knowledgeable; install videos lacked details (only covered basics).

I purchased some stuff for remodeling my living room. After I finished my project I realized that I need just one piece of trim wood part to complete my project. So I called the store and placed an order in May 30th. Salesman told me "it's not in stock and you will get it between 7 to 10 days." Since then I called them twice and I have not got my part so far. I would like to know if my part will not be ready soon, do not waste my time and look for it in other store.

I ended up going to Lumber Liquidators because I ran out of wood flooring for my kitchen halfway through. I was very impressed with how friendly and helpful everyone was. I was greeted as soon as I entered the store and they were eager to help me find something to finish my kitchen floor. I did find something that worked and I absolutely love how it came out. :) Thank you.

Things went well at the shop - help provided each time that we went in was great. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Setting up installation with 3rd party was a little stressful. Took weeks to get a call back (number was incorrect at first). I know I'm anxious to get the HW floors installed but I was hoping that once we picked up the items, it would only take a week at the most to get it installed. Good learning experience for me though.

We bought Virginia Mill Works Prefinished Engineered Tobacco Road Hardwood Flooring 5 years ago to put in our dining room. I've really liked it. When you walk on it, it has a softer feel to it on your feet and I like the different coloring of the wood. This is why we bought more to put in our living room and hallway.

Adam at the De Pere Store was very helpful and very knowledgeable about all the products we discussed regarding which flooring we should purchase (Stranded Bamboo Hardwood) based on our installation and recommended several options to best use as a mat and differences for sound and vapor barriers. Great store and knowledgeable people, something you can't find in many places. As a retired engineer I can truly appreciate people with that are informed about the products they sell.

I want to thank the folks at your Hartford location for helping me with my current project. I had previously replaced the carpeting in a large portion of my home with Bellawood 3" x 3/8" natural solid oak flooring. When we decided to replace the carpeting in one bedroom I went into the store and found out that the flooring was discontinued. This is a product that I was really happy with and let the people at the store know that. After reviewing the options with them, I decided to have the flooring shipped in from two other stores that still had the material in stock, for not only the bedroom I was planning on but for two additional bedrooms as well. The shipment was delivered and placed in my garage as requested. I've now completed one room and have two to go. The flooring has been great. Once again, thanks to the folks in Hartford for their help.

We are so glad to have decided to check out Lumber Liquidators in San Marcos! They have friendly and knowledgeable staff with lots of patience. :) A great selection and amazing quality for unbeatable prices! We fell in love with engineered bamboo flooring called Fall Harvest and Kara (the sales associate) who was so informative helped us with all the little things we wouldn't have known to buy (thresholds and T-Moldings) and got our order finalized seamlessly! We were lucky the bamboo was in stock, and we didn't need to wait like we other stores! Our floors were installed a week after and we were blown away by how beautiful and high quality it looked and felt! We will be buying flooring for our 1st floor from them again as we have no doubt they will have what we need at very competitive prices! This is a review that is unbiased and we were not paid or received a discount for it!

The Redlands store appears to be understaffed and fresh to their roles. In placing two separate orders online (for identical flooring each time), both orders experienced delivery issues. The first being it was never scheduled and ended up 5 days late, the second being I was charged wrong and should have paid more, even though the system calculates it when ordering. On the second order, they also send sub-standard underlayment (LL brand and not Dream Home as ordered). They tried to tell me it's the same but it was not what I ordered and did not match my prior underlayment so they did end up taking it back and sending the correct material.
I had to call and follow-up on both my orders several times, no specific dates of delivery are ever provided, and the rep always has to return my call rather than keep me on hold while they check. The one time I did try to call LL direct to add something on to my second order, they had to patch me back to the store. Overall, if the specific flooring that I am using was sold elsewhere, I would buy it through someone else in a heartbeat unfortunately.

Picked up 53 boxes of bamboo flooring at the S. Hackensack store and found 1 damaged box (end) and product. There was no more product in the warehouse so the mgr. said to take it, use where shorter pieces were needed. Made sense. When I took the boxes into the house I found 2 additional mangled boxes (forklift to the side of the box). Since they were on the bottom row and middle of the pack there is no way the forklift operator or anyone else loading wouldn't have seen the damage. Brought all 3 damaged boxes back to LL the next day. Accepted with no question and replacements would be delivered to my house.
Two weeks later I had to do the follow up. Several days later the Mgr. came to my house to deliver replacements and was surprised when the 3 boxes were damaged and of a different lot. They were the only 3 boxes in his truck, how did he not know it? Flooring is being acclimated to the installation area but now I am 3 weeks behind on installation because of 3 missing boxes. Have no idea when they will be replaced. No one from LL has contacted me. Tempted to have LL come to my house and pick up the flooring and get my money back They aren't the only flooring company in town. Absolutely terrible customer service. WHEN CAN I INSTALL MY FLOOR???

What went where and don't feel we got quite the right thing but weren't sure. Also felt $200 to deliver was a bit much but we were able to borrow a truck to pick it up. Floor is beautiful and pretty easy to install. All went according to what they said. Very good experience.

Overall, the experience with Lumber Liquidators was ok, but not great. We visited the store a couple times before deciding on the flooring we wanted. One salesman was great, the other was grumpy. We bought the flooring over the phone from a different agent. The price was great. The flooring came sooner than expected, which was nice. The pickup at the store was again a mixed bag as one salesman was helpful, the other seemed put out to be helping load the wood. The flooring itself was a far cry from the 'premium' we expected.
The color variations were more like Hickory than premium maple. There were a lot of boards that were unusable - more than the 10% we expected. We still have another room to do with this wood, so hopefully it will be enough, but pretty disappointed in the product. So though it wasn't an awful experience, we won't be using Lumber Liquidators again. Buying from our local flooring place has always been a positive experience. And we now know that you get what you pay for.
