Kinetico is great. We don't have the terrible scale on the shower like we used to. The installation guy was very knowledgeable. He explained to me how to change the filter in-depth. That was really helpful. However, there's a big gap between you actually having to replace it and that conversation. They could do a step-by-step visual aid that is colored with very few words and mostly pictures that we could stick on the wall right behind it.

We weren't happy with the quality of the well water we had. Those made a lot of clothes orange and discolored some of the white stuff. The guy down the street told us that he had a Kinetico water system. I had the rep put the salt tank inside the pump out but we changed our mind after that. It should be outside. And he said, "Yeah, I'll have the technician come in and move it outside and I won't charge anything for it." But it was several weeks before anybody came by. And when he did, he gave me an invoice for $50 to move it, but the first guy told me that he wouldn't charge me anything for it. But other than that, I've had no real problems. The system does what we want it to do. The water tastes better when we drink it and it doesn't make the clothes turn colors. We're satisfied with it.

We like Kinetico. We have a well and so we have a lot of silt and rust. We needed to have clean pure water. We've had our system since 2016 and it's been good. We haven't had a problem with the water at all, so we're not buying water in jugs anymore, and that's great. My husband switches out the filters, but he hasn't complained about it. It's a pretty simple process.

The Kinetico system is the best product on the market. There's nothing like it. I have the reverse osmosis for drinking water which goes under the sink and the water softener. The installation went fine. Some of the other brands are far less in cost but they have to come back every two years and recharge the system. Then they charge about $1,000 to do that. Our Kinetico system has two tanks. It's also self-cleaning so that happens way less frequently. It's not as difficult to maintain and it also does not use any electricity. I have the water tested from the drinking water and it's 99.9% pure.

I started out with a distributor out of Charlotte and I absolutely loved them. They were fabulous. I did not have to worry about anything. They tracked when they put the filters in, how long I was supposed to have them. They would send me an email, a text or card, all sorts of things, saying, "It's time to do this, this and this, and we will be there such and such to do it." They took care of the whole thing.
Then there was a change in the distributorship. Perhaps this territory was divided up. South Carolina was taken away from that gentleman, which was very sad to me. And then I had a heck of a time finding somebody to service me. I finally found somebody in Hilton Head, which is three hours from me. And then, we finally settled down and got a company here in Columbia called Meetze Plumbing. They're in Irmo, which is only a couple of miles down the road, and they've been pretty good. I had to show my honey and insist on one technician because there was one technician who is "The expert" and I flat out told him I don't want them to send anybody else to my house except him, and it has worked out great. He is wonderful and he did a very good job. This was done the year before the new system that we have now. It was two guys that came, and one of the them is the guy that I really like. He is a certified Kinetico installer.
The only thing is I have to track when it's time for my service. And what happened the last two times was I waited, not really knowing or either losing track, and I waited until the water got to the point where it wasn't producing anymore. So, when it gets to that point, you're basically out of water until the technician can get here and get everything repaired or changed. But other than that, I love the system and the taste of the water. The quality of the water is absolutely superb.

We had some problems with iron in our water and after Meetze Plumbing installed the Kinetico system, the water tasted better and it didn't have the iron. They also did a softening system for the whole house when they put the Kinetico in. I like Kinetico. If you have a well system, especially in the area here in northwest of Columbia, South Carolina, it helps to have something that takes the mineral content out of the water and makes it taste good. It also doesn't turn your clothes orange.

We're right next to the water treatment facility. We got a high chlorine level and it ate up my dishwasher and icemaker. Also, my wife could taste it. I'm in the plumbing wholesale business, so Meetze, the installer, is a good customer of mine. They buy a lot from me as a contractor and they are one of my best customers. They do a good job. I've known the tech for at least 15 years. He's one of the better plumbers in town, so he got it down pat for sure.

I talked to a few people here and there and they had Kinetico, so we decided to give it a go. It also seemed like it was one of the better deals out there. Our Kinetico system is doing okay. However, it seems like I'm changing the filters a little bit more often than I thought I would be.
Reviewed June 30, 2020
Our water system is working out pretty well. It's been in place for four years now since 2016. It's just the filters are kinda expensive. They're about $45 apiece. I ended up buying two. I'd like to be able to use those multiple times if that's possible. I get my water out of a lake because I don't have a city or a county water system. I use the Kinetico water system to filter and clean that water. Mine maybe gets a little more sediment and those kinds of things in it than a normal system. That's why those filters are so critical. If I could get them to where I could use them, clean them up real good and then put them back in, that would be a great advantage for me. It'd be cost-saving for me. I'm using a 5-micron filter right now.
Also, one of the issues I have is the filters that go in the system, which I change out on a periodic basis, are a little hard to clean sometimes. I've talked with the technician at Meetze Plumbing that handles our Kinetico system here in South Carolina and he gave me some cleaner to help with that. We really like Meetze Plumbing but they only have one technician that services the Kinetico systems and he's stretched pretty thin. He's pretty busy. I know who he is because he designed my system, originally, four years ago.
I like the Kinetico system. It's pretty easy to use and I can do the filter change-out myself. For the other parts, I usually call the technician to come in and do those because it's a little more advanced than I can do. I also like the quality of the system. The previous system that we had in place was installed by a pump company. It was in place for almost 15 years. I would like to think I would get that kind of lifespan on this Kinetico system. The technician said you may get six or seven years out of it, but we'll just have to see how that works.
I had a technician here this week and he updated or changed out the chemical pump. He's gonna come back next week and maybe take apart the filtration system itself and rebuild the two tanks that filter the water then it goes through the filter part again. He said he wanted to come and do some checks on those. It's kind of a maintenance thing. This is the first big maintenance we've had on that system in the four years it's been in place.

We built a house and we had a well, and my stepson who had a Kinetico told us that it was a good system. So we thought we would do it too. The installers did a good job but there was something about the way the pipe was put up. I wasn’t keen with that but it works fine and we've had it for two years. It is what it is. It would be nice though to figure out when you need to change your filter instead of having to take it off and look. My husband does it and he is able to do it so it’s okay. My daughter and her husband built a house across the street from us and we recommended Kinetico too and they have one.

We have a lot of chemicals in our water and so, the system that we had before wasn't doing the job. After some research, people were saying and recommending Kinetico. I'm glad that I followed up on it because it's doing a great job and I'm completely satisfied. Alaska Pure Water Products did the installation and they did a great job too. Switching out the filter was a learning curve and I just kinda learned not to tighten it so tight. But once I got that figured out, replacing the filters was not that big of a deal.

I had a Culligan RO. I left this house and I bought another one, and I put the Kinetico in that one. Then when I moved back to this house, I moved the Culligan out to the other house and the Kinetico back here. The only problem I ever had with the Culligan was the holding tank. I had to replace that after a lot of years. But the Kinetico installed the original tank, it's got the fiber tank and the other one had a metal tank. The Kinetico RO is easy to maintain and it’s been producing high quality water for years now. It's a little bit pricey, but, to me, it’s worth it. Then I had the softener put in 2003 and it's been cooking along ever since just fine. I might’ve had a leak once about 2013 and I had that looked after and corrected, and that's the only maintenance I’ve had on it other than putting in salt. Overall, I love them both.

My water was at 280 to 300 and I needed to reduce that. I had, at one time, the ones from Lowe’s, and it cost me more money to keep it fixed than it was worth. Then we had a plumbing company come in and put the Kinetico system in. The plumber just said that it would work itself. The water’s not as hard as it is normally with it. But the plumber never checked inside the house to tell me what the numbers were. They just went outside to a spigot and not inside. Also, they said they’d come and change the filter the first time. But they haven't been out here. Their rep wouldn't give me a number or a time when they would be here. I also asked how much the system was and he just said that a person would come out here and talk to me about it.

We have a well instead of public water. The system that I had wasn't softening anything and it really didn't appear to be filtering much either as it started to form little stones within my water lines which blocked the flow. We switched to Kinetico and we had a gentleman come in and install the whole thing. He helped to clear all the blockage out and he gave me instructions. The softness of our water is tremendous. We put in the RO system and that has worked out pretty well too. It's been a good change. The gentleman started on one day and we put in the RO system the next day. He came out even on a Saturday to complete it.

In Alaska, we have a number of earthquakes and every time an earthquake occurs, our well turns to sour grapes and we have problems with it. My nephew purchased the local firm that handles Kinetico’s filtration products and mentioned it. I gave it a try and we're very pleased with it. As I'm a retired individual, I watched the installers do the installation and it was very fast and efficient.
I did some research before I purchased and I came to the conclusion that I would be changing the filter. We're on a well and I built our home over 50 years ago, so I expected it. Sometimes, as the seasons change up here, we have a little difference in water color. I'm over the age of retirement and raising the salt bags at 40 pounds each is a little strenuous on my part but I can do that. I usually change the filters once every two months as well as add two bags of salt. The unit that we have is not hooked up to electricity. It's on a clock that's water-powered and it recharges when it's necessary, so I have no problems there. For my part, it was a good economical solution to a problem.

Our system was old and it wasn't very effective. I talked to the Kinetico sales guy at the home show. He came and tested it, I wasn't ready to change it then. But when I was, I went back to them and arranged for the installation of the other system. Everything is working out great with our Kinetico system so far. I have Alaska Water Products come and change my sediment filter. It takes most of the orange stuff that's in my water. I did have a lot of iron in the well water and some manganese. It takes most of that out, so I'm happy with it. It's much better than the system I had before as well.

I did two water softeners - one in town and one out here. We got well water versus a community water because we’re in Alaska. Anchorage does have very good water overall, but we got talked into a softener years and years ago. It wasn’t Kinetico, and then we got a little used to that softer water. And my wife said, “Let’s put one in there too” because that one needed replacement. It had been in there for 25 years when we replaced it. But the reason we replaced the second one in ’16 is because we had the one from ’13 when they put one out here in the lake. The inspiration was just stay with them, we were satisfied with the one we had out here at the lake, and people were good and responsive. Alaska Pure Water installed both of the softeners and did it in one day for each. There was something that they came back on once and they responded well. I love the fact we have softer water just because we’re up here at the lake.

Kinetico was the water system that the local plumber sold and serviced. My experience with their rep was really good and professional. The installation was really good too. I had a Kinetico system put in along with the softener and a bunch of other stuff. It was basically a whole house type of thing. The odor is gone from the water, which was what we were having an issue with, especially with hot water. I haven’t noticed as much of the staining on appliances and water spots on the dishes. If you’re trying to get rid of the sulfur odor in the water or of the spots on dishes, sinks, and toilets, Kinetico would take care of it for you.

There were some slightly elevated levels of nitrates when I purchased my house in my well water. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, but I had a small child at the time. At the time that I had a little kid, I thought probably not good for her two-year-old body to be getting that much. So, I decided to go with an RO system. Kinetico was the one that was recommended at Alaska Pure Water products. They’re also the only dealer and installer of such system in Anchorage. I called up Alaska Pure Water and they came out and installed it for me. Kinetico seems to be a quality system.

The water that I have is kind of hard and there might have been some calcium. I felt like I was cleaning through a dishwasher. I needed to do something because I knew the water was not very good that was why I went to that direction with the softener. Kinetico was the first store I stumbled on and it was close to where I drive by. I went in there and it seemed like one system that they had was more maintenance-free without the electrical-ish. I kinda liked it. The guy came over and hooked it up, totally easy process. Since having it, I feel a little slicker in the shower when rinsing off. My honey has bleached hair and it might be a little easier on the color of it when she bathes. So far so good.

We were having trouble with our water altogether. We have high iron content, where we live so we got a larger home system from Kinetico. They have good price and quality. We wanted the best we could afford, but we couldn’t afford probably the very best system. So, we ended up somewhere mid-range, with the best quality that we thought we could afford. We were impressed with the sales rep and how quickly they installed it and how well they knew the system. They went through it step-by-step on how to change the system and when to change and how to change all the filters. Since installation the water has been much better. The smell has gone away. The water is clear however we still get the taste of iron in our water. So, I wouldn’t say it’s completely eliminated but definitely helped.

My folks and friends have a Kinetico system, and they've been happy with it. I also like the passive energy option, so it’s not going to consume a bunch of power every month to operate. We were in the middle of replacing our dishwasher and buying an actually pretty nice espresso machine for the house. Unless we want to replace these in two years, we probably should do something about the mineral buildup.
We talked through some different options with the sales rep and for the installation, I paid them a little bit more money to re-plumb some of the water piping in the crawlspace so that our hose bibbs on the exterior of the building didn't go through the water filter. That's because putting salt on plants isn't a great idea. It didn't need to consume salt to wash our car and they were really flexible in that. The installation guys were great to work with. With Kinetico we notice that there isn't a mineral buildup in our appliances so for that matter, it did work. And mineral buildup in the showers and on the glass all dropped off as well.

The two gentlemen who sold us our Kinetico made us decide to work with them. Since then we bought two more because the product was very good, easy to maintain, and simple to understand. I won’t go with anyone but Kinetico. I’ve got four Kinetico products. I’ve owned one about 15 years ago. I just had my kitchen totally remodeled and I added a K5 to it, which is better for the water softener. I have two houses and I have two K5s now. I feel cleaner water when I use it. In the shower, I can absolutely tell the difference. My pipes don’t have any kind of mineral buildup at all. I also have peace of mind knowing I have highly filtered drinking water.

My place was new construction and I had to go 280 feet down to get water and it was really hard. The iron and calcium levels are really high. It wasn’t exactly drinkable without something in here. We also don’t have access to city water. I bought a Kinetico, which didn't need power, and my plumber installed it. It’s got a couple of filters and then the softener, and it seems to be working pretty good. With it, I like to drink the water.
However, I’m not on city water and city sewer and when you have all that salt going into your septic system, it kills all of the bacteria that make a septic system work. You should be really aware of having it pumped more regularly. If you don’t have a septic system, you still have to get rid of your waste saltwater, but you can’t just pump it out or you'd kill all your plants. I don’t know where it would go or if there would be something you can do with that.

Hi Shannon,
While we understand that you are not pleased with your experience with South Jersey Water Conditioning, we do want to state that Kinetico has a 40 year history with this company. Through this time they have always supported our brand, image and customers in an exemplary fashion.
Kinetico and South Jersey Water Conditioning both understand that sometimes it's just not a good fit between a customer and company. For that matter, the dealer agreed that you would be better suited to find a water treatment solution from a different company and removed the equipment.

I have purchased several from Kinetico. Over the years in different houses that we’ve had, I’ve bought at least half a dozen full water softener systems, plus the three canister RO systems. Recently, I just had Jon, their rep in Phoenix, Arizona come. He was, by far, the pushiest salesman trying to upcharge me for a product I did not want. I’m in sales also, but I have never had a guy that was pushier. All I wanted was an RO system ‘cause the home we bought last year had an RO in it, a Palmer system, a good system. I made my point very plain to him, and he came right back around to it twice more. That was when I put my hand up and said, “Okay, enough. All I want is a price on the hybrid system to replace the one that’s in the house.”
Just from knowing the fella in that short, 20-minute window he was there, I couldn’t believe that he is the face of Kinetico in that whole Phoenix metro area. ‘Cause soon as he left, I tried to find another dealer, and that’s why I called Kinetico directly to see if he was the only dealer down there. I just don’t deal with people like that. So, I’m looking for another system, another brand down there, which I hate to go away from ‘cause I love Kineticos. I’ve had them for lots of years. I used to deal with the Kinetico dealer out of Walla Walla, Washington. It was really good. Then I dealt with Tri-Cities Water Store here in Kennewick, Washington which was great to deal with as well. I also have Kinetico do installations ‘cause they’re so clean with their installations.

But Kinetico was able to meet our needs. The owner came out, explained the system, and the installation went well. It was as described.
However, I was disappointed that they didn't adequately explain that the routine maintenance required pouring salt into a large container through which the water filters. Initially, we had thought that they would be delivering salt on a periodic basis. By the time we were completed with the installation, they had stopped that service and it has gotten increasingly difficult to find salt pellets in a size that I could manage. Going to Home Depot or the local hardware store, it only comes in 50-pound bags, which is very difficult for me to navigate getting into and out or my car. It does take away some of the mineral flavor that was in the natural water. I’ve been pleased with the product.

We started with Kinetico back in 1991 and had them in our previous four homes. However, we haven’t had them since moving to Texas here. But we own a home in La Quinta and have Kinetico there. They partner up with individuals in all of the different regions and they restrict the AOR to that individual. It almost comes across that the sale people feel privileged. The challenge has been finding somebody that we like talking to.
The purchasing process was not much fun in California. The salesman was really tough to deal with. The installer in California was outstanding. Even so, all the salesman could do was complain about the installer. He had no idea that the installer was the key to success there. If it was just him, we'd have tried to find an alternative. We’re big fans of Kinetico, but not impressed with the organization trying to see the system to us here in Texas. We’re searching for an alternative because the quote came back incredibly high. I think they're trying to take advantage of us.
However, Kinetico is very effective in providing soft water and we really like the mechanism that they have for drinking water. The simplicity of the system is outstanding, with no power being needed and no regenerating on need versus on a set timer. It has really been maintenance-free and we use very little salt. That’s why we have been long-time customers. Also, we’ve had some filters shipped to us from time to time, and that has gone well.

Things are easier to clean and the water tastes better with a water softener. I had a Culligan but because of the price, I looked into other water softeners. I got a Kinetico PowerLine softener over a couple years ago. I had to call some person that I had no clue who he was to buy the water softener. He came out and talked to me. His name was Jerry and it was a little hard to get ahold of him. I didn't like how I had to connect with the man and call him to make sure he'd come back. With Culligan, they say they'll be there, and they're there. Culligan was a much more professional group of people than this guy was. I also had no idea where the installers from Kinetico came from. They were dressed in regular old clothes with no name tag. When they came, I thought, "What are you here for?" But the installation was fine. I already had a system so all they had to do was take the old one out and put the other one in.
I had Culligan deliver salt probably every two months, and that wasn't offered with Kinetico which I didn't realize. I'm old, so I have to get a son-in-law to get the salt for me. That was a really nice service that Culligan had. They would bring the salt and put it in the bin. I liked that a lot. If I were doing it again, I would go back to Culligan just for that service.

We've been Kinetico customers forever. We've had their water softener for 20-something years then we just installed the water filtration. But then we had a repair. It was making some odd noises when it was refilling the tank. Then eventually, the tank would not fill. The local dealer had to come out a couple of times. They wanted to take the unit back and work on it in their shop but we pushed back on that a little bit and eventually, they agreed to just replace the whole thing under warranty.

I rented a home water softener from this company from 2006 to March 31, 2020 and I paid approximately $3,500.00. I contacted Aquarius Water Conditioning on March 24, 2020 and spoke to them about possibly taking ownership of this Water Softener. They wanted me to pay approximately an additional $1,500.00. I thought that was ridiculous since I already paid them a ton of money for this Water Softener. I told them I didn’t wish to continue renting it so they came and picked it up on March 31, 2020. They should have given this water softener to me since I have been a loyal customer for almost 15 years and I paid a lot of money to them for this Water Softener. There is no way they can rent out this appliance to another customer being that it is so old.
You can purchase a 40,000 grain water softener for $500.00 in the stores today. Not to mention, this country is in crisis from Covid 19 and money is tight. I lost my job because of it and I need to cut costs wherever necessary and this company did not even try to negotiate with me or accommodate me in any way. If you are thinking about renting one of these from this company please reconsider or you will regret it. I will not recommend this company to anyone!
Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for being a loyal customer to Kinetico and Aquarius Water systems. We are happy to know that you used and appreciated the product and the dealer's services for 14 years without concern and had the desire to keep the softener.
It sounds like you entered into a straight rental contract that required payment for the product for the duration of it's use in your home. The good news with this type of contract is that the unit is kept in good working condition for you by the dealer for any amount of time in which it is being paid for. And yes, it can be reconditioned and reinstalled.
Other options of ownership are rent to own, lease, there are financing options or a simple cash purchase.
We are sorry that your use of the product did not end as you anticipated. We are confident that Aquarius Water would appreciate the opportunity to regain your confidence.

The company has resolved the issue.
Original Review: March 13, 2020
On June 24, 2015 we had purchased water treatment/filter equipment from Costco for our new construction residential home. The products we purchased were all Kinetico Products and the installation was completed by a Kinetico authorized representative which we hired through Costco. As per our invoice we paid a total of $6,542.70 after tax for the following products; (1) Kinetico 2060s Tannin Plus, (2) Kinetico Professional Installation, (3) Kinetico K5 Standard Drinking Water Station, (4) Kinetico Professional Installation, (5) Drill Hole on Granite, (6) Extra Sediment Filter, (7) Bag of Salt, and (8) Kinetico Designer Faucet (Chrome).
A water consultant authorized from Kinetico, came to our home and tested our water, advised us of what is typical in the surrounding neighbourhood, and gave us a report with his expertise on what we would require in order to have clean water entering our home. Only after the consultant's analysis and recommendation did he order the equipment and provide us with the work order. As per the consultant's diagram which he provided to us, he recommended that from the well the water should travel to a booster pump, then a pre filter, then a water softener, and finally through the UV light. It is important to note that even when the consultant tested the water he was aware that there was iron in the water.
We solely relied on the Kinetico authorized consultants' expertise as we assumed that a Kinetico authorized representative was educated and experienced enough to provide us with the necessary information and advice to ensure we have clean water in our home. Our current situation is that all of our water has hard minerals and iron flowing into the water. The water is undrinkable, has a foul smell, and has significantly damaged our bathroom fixtures. Our family is unable to properly wash our clothes or shower without a strong smell of iron and minerals due to the condition of our water treatment systems. We have been advised by another Kinetico authorized agent that our water systems need to be replaced due to the fact that iron has likely damaged each individual unit.
We have unclean water and are no longer under our labour warranty. I spoke with customer service from the above mentioned consultant's business and they advised us that labour to come inspect the issue would be $180. I spoke with the consultant and he advised me that the issue is likely the water filter and to change them from the prefilter. I advised him that I changed it two days before our phone call and changed it every month to a month and a half. He advised to change it again and that he will come and inspect our water, even though the filter was two days old. I complied and changed the filter again. So the consultant came to our home on February 20th, 2020 and inspected our water and changed the filter again.
I asked him why does the water come yellow suddenly almost sometimes a few hours after changing the filter to which he advised me that since the water is under a well and there is a lot of minerals and dirt in the well that's why sometimes the water will go yellow. I am not an expert in water treatment but in my opinion the water treatment is supposed to treat the water and make it potable and usable. We are not just supposed to accept that because we have a well sometimes the water will become yellowish and smell and that we should keep changing water filters on a hourly to daily basis. We had a second opinion completed by another Kinetico authorized business. On February 25th, 2020 we were advised that our water has significantly high amounts of heavy metals and that every single one of our water treatment equipment needs to be changed.
When considering water equipment for our home we heard amazing things about Kinetico and wanted to also share in this great experience but however we are unable to do so caused by this significant issue. Currently on March 13th, 2020 we are beyond frustrated. With the Covid-19 virus going around and business closing down - WE DO NOT HAVE CLEAN WATER. How am I supposed to ensure we have clean water to cook our food or keep us clean from any harmful virus? Just know right now due to this significantly slow correction from Kinetico me, my husband, and children all have to shower at the gym. Imagine that... spending so much money and time trying to get this issue resolved and still having to shower in a public place in the midst of a pandemic virus.
We also received a text today from the Kinetico authorized consultant which basically says - "I am consulting with the technical expert, please wait so I can get the best outcome for you." How long does Kinetico expect us to wait, we need answers now so we can take our next steps to getting this issue resolved with or without Kinetico's support.

I had Kinetico in the past in another house. I put it in in '06. And so, when I moved in 2013 into this other house, it didn't have it. It did not have a very good system. The Kinetico was a really high-end quality product and what I put in my house in '06, I liked it. So I kept it in mind where if I needed a new one in this older house I bought, that I would replace it with that. It was a lot of money, but I went ahead and did it.
Honestly, I don't think the new Kinetico system that I bought is as good as the old one. There are things about it that don't seem like it's as good as the other one. The container that the salt goes in doesn't seem to operate the same way. They said I can't fill this one to the top with salt. I can only put a couple of bags in it a time for it to work properly. I was like, "What does that mean?" They said it gets too compacted at the bottom and then the system doesn't work right. So now, I've got to constantly check it every couple of weeks to make sure I'm not running it out of salt. And they didn't tell me that till after I put it in. So, that bothers me. The issue I was having is the other soft water system was really old and used a lot of salt, and this one uses way less salt, which is what Kinetico does. So it is doing that.

I have a spa in my house, and the salesman that I dealt with was familiar with the area and the supplier for the water in our area. He talked about the amount of chlorine that was in the water and I didn’t believe him. So I got my spot test kit out and tested the water out of the tap and he was correct. There was as much chlorine coming in my tap as I keep in my spa to kill bacteria. So that’s why I got the filters as well.
There has been a difference with the taste in the water since I got the water system installed. I also don't have to worry about all the various calcium deposits on my appliances because I had replaced some appliances not too long before I got the system. I didn’t want them to have all that hard water stains and calcium to build up.

The installation went very quick. The person who did it was very qualified. I liked the system and the way it operated. I would have to add salt to the system. But since the older system I had was on a timer, it regenerated based on time, whereas the Kinetico System was on a usage so it didn't regenerate as often, which was good.

I bought the house a year ago and the soap didn’t lather up in the shower like I wanted. The house had an old water softener in it and I wanted a new one, so I got Kinetico. They say this was the best one and it cost me $2,400, but it’s been well worth it. I’m happy with it. They came right in, took care of me, and set up my payments. I paid it off a little early. I had one leak and I couldn’t understand why it was leaking, so I called them up and the tech came right out and fixed it. It was just a few bolts had to be tightened and it was okay.

I had a previous water softener through Kinetico back in the late 90s. And their reputation and the warranty were why I selected them and not another brand. I got an underground water softener and a reverse osmosis under my kitchen sink. The product is good but they are overtaxed. I called a couple of times and asked them to call me back about refilling my salts, but I haven’t gotten a call from them.

I've had a water system previously from them for at least seven years. I deal with my plumber and my plumber thinks the world of them. I got a water filtration that was under the sink six months ago. And then this time, I got one for the whole house. They were very neat and very courteous. They came when they said they would come and they cleaned up after themselves. Our area of town doesn't have the greatest water. There was an odor quite often in the bathtub and it was horrible. But I haven't had that when we did system for the whole house. Back then, we were only drinking water out of the system. We also had an instant hot that they didn't put in there. But it really does make a difference.

I have two separate systems from Kinetico and everything is great with both of them. They work like they should. There’s no more odor with the water and it tastes fine. After we moved in the house the very first day, the water had a real strong odor of sulfur. As soon as you turn the water on, the whole house reeked of it. I went on the internet and talked to a person at Kinetico and brought from them the water sample, and they sent somebody out to the house and told us what we needed to do. The rep was nice. He knew what he was looking at and what he was doing because the water is fine now.

I have to say that the experience was awesome from the first time I called to the job getting done. They called me to tell me that someone canceled and that I didn't have to wait to Wednesday. The tech came like he said he would and on the time he give me. The job took like 1 hour give some info and things to do. Also The sale guy was really nice and gave a lot of info on the system that liked so much. Now on the system it's awesome. You can feel the differences almost right away. It stopped the smell, hardness and the water taste is way better. No more buying bottled water or filters for the refrigerator. We love it and we recommend that everyone get one. It better for your family and for the environment.

I had scheduled my appointment weeks in advance so I could do it on my day off and at a certain time and date. But they moved the appointment and I didn’t know. I was waiting for them and they never showed. So, when they were about an hour late, I finally phoned them and asked where they were and they said they moved my appointment. One of the managers came out and did the service. He was nice, but I just thought that the guy that did the scheduling shouldn’t have done that without checking with me. The old system happened to be a Kinetico filter so we contacted the nearest dealer.
They came in, removed the old system, disposed of all the old components, and installed the new one. My wife was home at the time and they gave her a rundown on the monthly maintenance for it. At one point, she had forgotten how to operate it for changing the filter, but I was able to call the installer. They have photographs of how our system was set up on file and they were able to walk me right through the process. And they have been very helpful any time they’ve been out here to service the system. The water from the well has a very high iron content. Towards the end of the life of the filter, we started to notice the hardness and some discoloration in the water. But after we put a new filter in, the water quality has been fine

We've had two different houses with two different needs. We have our current house where we have town water. The issue is about the treatment of the water which was hard. When we built our second house, we called Kinetico because Jean had been so great with the other house. He made himself available to me, although not so much now because the water situation is different and it's more complicated. With the other house, it had all those larger issues. There were some emergency situations where I was talking to Jean in the middle of the night and he was helping. Part of the reason why when it came to this other house, we had him put the system in.
We had well water which was exceptionally hard and it had sediment present in it. The biggest thing was that we had a low yield well which was less than a gallon a minute so we needed storage capacity. Jean put in a system called well manager and that helped us store water so that we could have it for our use. But we have to pull it from the well at a prescribed pace so that it never overtax the well.

It’s waterproof.
With the system, the water is really fresh. Usually, I can’t drink water unless it’s really ice-cold. But now, I can. I still want it chilly, but it ain’t got to be ice-cold. We had just moved into this home and we live in a small town surrounded by agriculture. We're very concerned about runoff of chemicals into the water supply. I checked out a bunch of stuff online. Then we found out that our local Kinetico distributor which is Scharnweber has an office in Waterloo, Iowa. It is close to where we live, and it just so happens that the man who runs that branch lives in our town here which is terribly convenient. He is a marvelous fellow. We couldn't be happier with our representation by Scharnweber than we are with Alan. He has given us tremendous service over the years. We have not only a softener system but we have a water filtration system because of the worry about chemicals. We use exclusively the reverse osmosis water for cooking and drinking.
Kinetico has been very easy to work with and I really couldn't think of anything they could do to improve the customer service interface because Alan is such a great guy. It's convenient for him to put us either last on his schedule so he's on his way home or first thing in the morning as he's going into work. And that's convenient for us, too. So we consider ourselves lucky.
The system has worked pretty much flawlessly. We upgraded. We had the original water softener rebuilt about a year ago. And at the same time, we upgraded to the more modern model of reverse osmosis system. But he original equipment had lasted nearly 20 years so we were very pleased. We are big proponents of this system and the people in our area who represent the company.

They serviced the whole filtration system down in the basement. They’ve been out several times for that before the gentleman who came out to service it recommended that I replace it. He put in the same thing that was there already.
I have the possibility of putting in another filter, but I wish that it was easier for me to access it. As somebody with limited mobility, it was hard for me. I really had to torque that thing. But I put some coconut oil on its screws so when I go to remove it, it’s easier. I like the fact that as far as using electricity and using the timer with the water flow, it's efficient. If there's no flow, it doesn't increase the timer. It only recharges when you use it for a certain amount of water. The other ones are on a timer, so every day at 6 o'clock, it recharges whether you need it or not.
One of the things that I don't like is a ring in the stool. The system doesn't totally eliminate it, but it's about 75% less. When we did have some problems, the timer broke and you could tell right away, the stool started getting rings in them. When you showered, your skin felt different, and you ended up with a lot more water spots. The tech guy came out with his little toolbox, a light and shorts, and he knelt down on the cement floor with his bare knees and pulled out his little toolbox. He completely disassembled the clock in five minutes or less. Took it apart, blew everything out and put it all back together. He said, "Something ain't quite right." He took it back apart again, kneeling on the floor with bare knees, put that thing back together and it worked fine. It turns out he's the guy that owns the place. He knows what he's talking about, and he proved it.

I had hard water and I needed to get it softer, which led me to look into getting a filter. My dad had Kinetico years ago when I was a kid and I continued on. I’ve had them for two years. I had a Kenmore at one time but that one seemed like it worked good but I eventually upgraded and I got a newer unit. The Kinetico tanks are small though and you gotta add the salt fairly often. I’d like to see a bigger capacity. Other than that, I have no problems.

There was a time when our water was bad. It had iron and calcium. Kinetico was recommended by our installer who removed an existing system from my home. That installer had a good reputation so we went with Kinetico. Things are easy once the system is set up and the system runs itself. I'm salting it once in a while though and I gotta look in it. Even so, since getting the Kinetico system, my water has been radically better. Kinetico doesn't have the cheapest equipment by any stretch of the imagination but I typically get what I pay for.

I'm always into more local and keeping the local vendors through and through. I reached out to the local place in Charlton, Massachusetts and they did the water testing. Kinetico was the product that they used. We’ve had the Kinetico water system for a little over a year. It does what it does and our water is clean and clear. But the time it takes to fully backwash is absolutely insanely long. I was under the impression that the backwater system should be backwashing for three hours, an hour and a half for both systems, but it turns out that it was not. It was actually for each segment of the filtration.
For me, to backwash three hours for one system and then three hours on another system wastes an astronomical amount of well water. I will also have to make the drywell bigger because of the amount of water that is backflowing. According to the person that did the installation, it’s based on the amount of usage it gets as opposed to every three days but it's clearly not the case. I go through about six bags every month just with myself and one other person using the water systems and with my children every other weekend. It's annoying that we are backwashing so much for what seems to be so little usage. Also if you don’t keep the salt in the brine, you tend to run the life expectancy of the filtration system down because of how often it backwashes.
Hi Michael,
Our warranty registration data base shows an extreme level of iron in your water supply requiring a large water treatment product. This unit will backwash 1 tank for 90 minutes with several hundreds of gallons of usable water in between regenerations.
You may have other treatment equipment installed that is not reflecting in our data base that would alter these figures.

I did some research and the guy that was doing the install was using Kinetico as their filters. I bought it because we had the elevated nitrates and a refrigerator water filter was not going to take care of that. With Kinetico, the water tastes good if we make ice with it. It definitely doesn't have any weird colors or smells like tap water did. We had a water test after to make sure that it was good, and the numbers came back good. However, the cost of the filters is expensive -- they could be a bit cheaper. I haven't looked too many at all the other reverse osmosis filters, some people online were saying that there are way cheaper ones. I'm trying to find them, but I'm like, "Where?"

But I would like it if when it went outside, it was a little further away from my foundation because it’s about two to three feet away from my bulkhead, and all that discharge is gonna cause havoc with my bulkhead sooner or later. Kinetico’s system was a water-wheel based kind and I liked that. Setting up an appointment with them was a piece of cake. I called and they sent out a representative. He came out, tested our water and went over what we needed. He gave us some options and we went with probably the most complete package we needed to get everything. They scheduled it out and in a matter of four weeks, they came out and put it all in. I haven't had any issues with it since.
Our water is so poor and about a year ago, we got a second system because the first system was 20 years old. Towards the end, you could tell the media was getting full. We were starting to get some rusting break through. So, they came out and replaced everything that we had with a new upgraded version. It’s a little bit bigger tank. There are all kinds of systems out there and this one seemed to work for me. So, I went with it again. I like that if we go on vacation or if we go away, if we’re not using the water, then it’s not regenerating all the time, like one that’s on a timer. If we lose power, I don’t have to go back and reset it all. I was very pleased with Kinetico.

When my 35-year-old water softener went bad, the plumber I typically use offered Kinetico. It was easily available and I went with it. It’s the same system that I had before, but everything was new. The tub that you put the softener salt in is a little bigger and the pressure tanks are a little bit smaller but higher pressure. The filter housings accommodate two filters rather than one and the time in between changing the filters is a little longer. The filters get filled with rust because the lines underground are all steel.
I live on a farm and have well water, which is hard. I wanted to take some of that out. The wife and daughter don’t like the hard water for their hair and the water spots on the dishes. Then there is a sink that has a slight rotten eggs smell without it being run through the softener system. The softer water is better on the faucet and the showerheads. The calcium buildup is also not as bad.

He tested the water here and said that the water softener I have is good enough. So, he wasn't pushing this product on me as far as being able to get the sale. He was not unethical. I got the water filter and it's been really good. The filtered water is all I drink and cook with. I like the idea that they hooked it to the refrigerator so that the ice is filtered too. I've had experience with Kinetico for six years. I used them previously when I lived in a different house and then, we bought it last year. We have the water softener and the reverse osmosis. I didn't have the reverse osmosis before. I just got it in our house now. We were having hard water. Also, one of our friends always carries bottled water. She wouldn't drink any town water. So I thought, I would just go ahead and get that reverse osmosis, which actually turned out good because when we had flooding in the area this summer, the nitrate count was too high and you had to boil your water. But I didn't have to boil our water because it filters all of it. The reverse osmosis worked out great for us.
I was just amazed. I thought, "Wow. I can't believe I spent the extra money and it was really worth it." And then, I didn't have to spend the extra money to buy water. The town also supplies water to people, and it was a pain in the butt because I'm the manager of the KCs and if you wash your dishes, you have to boil the water. It was an extra chore.
It's all been great because otherwise, I would not have went back a second time. There was another water system in the area which was Culligan. I called them, left a message, never got a call back. I waited two weeks, I called again, never got a call back. The lady there said, "Well, I just take a message. If he doesn't call you..." That was not her fault. I understand. And I thought, I had money to spend. It was not like everyday somebody puts a water softener in. They never called me back. And I thought, if they can't even call me, just forget it. And with Culligan, you have to set a timer for it to soften the water or to run. With the Kinetico, you will have softened water 24/7, 365 days a year. You do not put on a timer. There are two bottles and when one bottle runs out, you start running on the other. Before you get to the bottom of that bottle, the other bottle is ready to go.
When they came and talked to me about it the very first time, I knew nothing. I had some idea about a water softener, but I didn't have the full spectrum of it, and they were very explanatory in everything. I was just amazed at their system and that you didn't have to set it on a timer or anything like that which I thought really made sense because otherwise, you'd set it at 2:00 in the morning when you're not using it. They've been great. We have recommended Kinetico to our friends who live on a farm and they have very hard water.

He also tested the water for me, explained exactly what I was gonna need as far as cleaning up my water, conditioning my water, and what would be needed for the rust control as well. Before I got Kinetico, my own water conditioner was not working for a long time, so I had extremely hard water. But after I got Kinetico installed, it didn't take any time to notice that there was a huge difference over having soft water again. Their installation team did really well, too. They did not leave a mess, cleaned up after themselves, and were in and out without any bother. I almost didn't even know they were there.

I bought the unit almost 2 years ago. The unit was working good for the first 10 months with reading of 8,9,11,14. Then suddenly the meter went way over 50. They finally sent someone out and discovered the Membrane filter was bad. This is only 10 months out with a 4 year warranty on this filter. The meter reading since they were always in the high twenties, So we accepted that even though the city water supply was much lower than when we first had it installed. It was 535 originally with the low reading. After it was always in the mid to low 400's, Today the reading is 421. I just changed three filter. Purple, Orange and Silver.
After the first tank rinse as they instruct the meter was 121. I rinsed the tank again it was 79, then again and it was still 72 after 3 flushes, the fourth tank gave me mixed reading 72, then 54, then 44, then 47, then 65 all from the same tank of water on the now 5th flush and emptying. The original water I had saved in emergency water 5 gallon tanks which I had next to the sink. So I measured the original and it was 8. That was from when I first bought the machine.
When I called they want to charge me 121 service call fee, even though this is the same problem originating from the first problem of high TDS meter readings. So I declined the visit. There is really nothing you can do but and that's 2000$ wasted on a overrated system that makes false claims, and does not really stand behind their product. Oh yah for a price as indicated before. Since this was a problem ongoing from the first issue and the readings were consistently high for so long you would think they would do this as a courtesy followup from the first issues that are ongoing. Bottom line I would decline from buying this unit since it breaks down and their filters are obviously defective and not up to the high quality they claim. Be warned.

I’ve had some problems with my Kinetico. At one point in time, a whole lot of salt was getting into the water and it tasted very salty. Someone came out and fixed that. I’m not sure if it’s totally fixed because once in a while, after it refreshes, there still seems to be salt in there. I also had a problem with a blockage. The salt gets slopped up at the bottom, and as a result, I was getting no soft water at all. And I called them on that, but nobody came out and I had to take some of the salt out that was in there and tried to get clear down at the bottom and see what was going on, and it was all caked in there. I’m not 100% happy with it.
We are out in the boondocks here. And the house is about 20 years old, and what they had before was a system that was installed when the house was built, and it was getting to the point where I just wanted something newer and also something I wouldn’t have to mess around with so much. The installation of the Kinetico system was fine. There was some problems in there and the installer did a good job with that. Initially, everything worked fine but it wasn’t too long after it was in that I had this sense that there was a whole lot of salt in the water, and I’m not supposed to have salt. My dog actually wouldn’t drink the water. She turned her nose up at it. I had to go outside and get the water from the outside faucet which doesn’t go through the softener.
I still, once in a while, take a drink if it tastes a little bit salty and the dog still seems leery of it at times. When a guy came out to fix it, he said some kind of a valve had not worked like it was supposed to and he put a new one in. But I still wonder at times if that valve was not shutting fully or what because it still tastes salty at times.

We love Kinetico. It uses a heck of a lot of salt because our water is really crappy. I wanted to get back with them to see if I can dial it down a little bit, but I'm afraid, if we do, the water won't be as good, but still thumbs up for them. I've had previous water softeners -- Culligan, Morton and kept hearing about how Kinetico was pretty good. It makes well water well. That’s their jingle. And we have a pretty bad well water out here, so I thought I'd give them a try, and I'm glad I did.
I had a couple of floods I dealt with this year, and I have an RO system. Before we were gonna use the RO system again I wanted to change my filters because I shocked the well, and it was on a Saturday, and either the manager or the technician at that time took time out of his day to meet me at the shop and provided me with all the filters I needed. He recommended a few to filter out bacteria, E. coli, and stuff like that, which was great. So he provided a great service for me because we just moved in that week, and then went out of his way to make sure we got what we needed.
If they could lower the prices it would be great, but you gotta pay for quality, and I understand that. My folks actually lived in this house when I was growing up, and we didn’t go with an RO system. We just had a plain Jane water softener, but the water was certainly sorta soft, but there was still iron rings in the toilet. Now, the water is so clear. You're not seeing any stains in the toilets. The boys says, “Well, we can drink that water.” I told them not to use the RO water, but it's just like night and day from the other water softener we experienced here at this house.

The water was pretty hard in our old house so there was always water spots. Our two kids always had really bad eczema, so our pediatrician said that the water softener would help. So we’ve had it then, and we loved it. My parents had Kinetico growing up, so we ended up going with that brand as well. And it was worth paying a little bit more to have the best. We moved in April and paid to have it swapped over here. The installation went really smoothly. When we moved, I called to get everything set up, and the lady said there would be a $100 charge to have it moved. I had no problem with that. But when we moved, they ended up sending me a $468 bill, and the lady said that the $100 was the fee to move but we had to pay for parts. So we were a little taken off that and that kinda sucked, but other than that, it’s been great.

Kinetico's sales rep was very knowledgeable and informative. We bought a water softening system and two reverse osmosis systems, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. When we bought our house, we decided that we wanted to have that and it has been working really well. We're very satisfied with our products.

We got lime and rust in the town here, and we wanted to take that away ‘cause we’re always cleaning them. I’d had other softeners and they would always break down, so I went with Kinetico. I got the complete water system and it makes delicious coffee, and our plants and flowers seem to be doing better.

One of the screws went wrong on the installation about nine months into it. We called and they came out right out, replaced it, no problems. So, they’re good people to work with. We had a lot of iron in our water, and now the water is definitely soft and really nice to take a shower in.

I have hard water here in Iowa. I built a new house, and I didn't want all the water softeners and the sinks and toilets and tubs to get water rust marks on them, so I got a water softener. My plumber that assisted building the house sold water softeners and he put his best water softener in. But I was extremely disappointed. So I started looking around and I found the Kinetico at a tradeshow. After about six months of living in my house, I removed the original water softener and put a Kinetico in, which has been about a full year now and I've been real happy with it. The water quality has been more consistently better. With the old water softener, there were times when it was allowing stuff to get pass it. But Kinetico softener has not have that happen yet.
The only issue I have with Kinetico is that their dealerships are not close enough. There are too few and too far between. They have to travel nearly an hour to an hour and a half to get to my place if I need service. And I would prefer to buy some Kinetico salt that came with my softener, but it's not feasible to drive an hour and a half to buy water softener salt. Other than that, with the water that we have in this part of the country, the best water softener is Kinetico.

The rep was very knowledgeable and the installers took out the old water softener I had. When we bought this house years ago, the people that owned it had bought a new water softener that was loaded with lead inside, and I could hardly move it. They took that for me too, so it was wonderful. The new system cleans much better, especially laundry. I love it for laundry 'cause the laundry soap suds so well. Clothes are so clean, no residue.

Kinetico claimed to be able to take nitrates out of the water and my water is high in nitrates. Plus, they said the system takes less salt. I used the company out of Owen, Iowa, and the service was good. I had them come back two years ago and serviced it and did a few things. I had a drinking water system in addition to the plain filtration system, and I put a new drinking water system and replaced the old one. I’ve been pleased with the way it was put in, and I’m pleased with their service. My water quality is good. Before, the water might be a little cloudy, but after the system was in, it has been more appealing to the eyes. The water is cleaner.

We had a lot of hard water and iron in it in particular. I asked a plumber who they go to, and Kinetico was what they advised. The Kinetico representative has been fine. And I haven’t had any problems since we’ve put the system in. The water quality is better for washing and bathing, and easier on our sinks and drains. We got soft water now.

We've had really good luck with our Kinetico water softener. Our old one went kaput and we updated to a Kinetico. The Kinetico water softener we have now is 20 years old. Their service guys were really good. And Kinetico have the water softness that's pretty good that is right for what our water table is. I would highly recommend it. Kinetico has good products.

Our Kinetico system has been working really well. Kinetico has a good reputation and we got a softener and an iron filter. They put the RO system in, too. Our water wasn’t very good quality, but now I’m getting better water. It’s softer, and it’s clean. It tastes better, and the whole nine yards.

My water was lining up my glasses so I got a water softener from Kinetico. I got online and it looked like they were one of the best ones. So that was what I went with. The guy who set it up was here on time, was very nice and showed me when he connected it to my waterlines and stuff in the basement, which knobs to turn and what to do to shut it off so that I could put a new filter in.
The lady in the office was real nice to me too. I had to go down and get another bag of pellets. She even lifted it in my trunk of my car for me. Since having the system my water has been a lot better. I don't have all the lining up of things anymore, that was my main factor. I don't like drinking tap water so I get mine through my refrigerator and the water goes through the softener downstairs and it works out great. I'm very satisfied and if anybody would ask me I'd recommend the Kinetico to them.

Hi Judy,

We built two brand-new houses, and we put them in from the get-go in both properties. We had a Kinetico system in Iowa City, and now we have a Kinetico system in Ankeny. I told the builder we wanted to put another Kinetico system in and he set them up with the local vendor here in our area. Everything went smooth and perfect. It’s been a good system for us. It’s low-maintenance and we like their drinking system downstairs.

The two gentlemen who returned on 11/21/19, after our water system was installed about 2 weeks ago, were very efficient and helpful. They checked everything out and fully explained how everything works. They demonstrated how to change the filter, etc. We would recommend the company to our friends and acquaintances.

I got a water softener as we needed to replace our other one, and we liked the fact that Kinetico didn’t hook up to electricity. The representative was very friendly to us, same with the people who came and did the work. They hooked up soft water in my bathroom in the basement for me, which I appreciated. I also noticed that it rejuvenates a lot more often than the other one did.

When I bought a Kinetico water softener for the entire home, the rep was kind, forthcoming, and honest. My previous soft water system quit on me and having a tankless water heater, the soft water is important. It keeps the build-up on the inside of the tankless water heater so that I don’t have to clean it.

We have hard water and we didn’t wanna drink it and all the stuff in it. Someone recommended Kinetico and I took the recommendation. Their reps were okay, but not great. They're pretty immovable, meaning, they're doing their thing. That's probably what they want, but they could be a little more customer service-friendly. We have the Kinetico in the kitchen sinks and I would love to have it throughout the house, but that's a $30,000 ordeal. We're just using it now for the drinking water.

We had hard water in the area and my son had eczema. We then had the RO filter that was the beefier one with chlorine removal feature on it for water softener. The system did not make the eczema completely go away but it definitely helped a lot with going to soft water. The installation was great. We noticed a major difference in the water pressure, however, and so we had to have them come out to adjust the water pressure. They increased the pressure from the house, and that helped a ton. The RO is great. But, in comparison to the water softener we have in the house that we have now, I am not sure how effective the Kinetico water softener was, if it was better than their standard electric water softener. It could be that I have grown grown accustomed to the feel of the soft water. But definitely, customer service has been excellent.
Hi Suzzie,
We are happy to hear of your satisfaction with the dealer in your area. It sounds like perhaps, you are still not satisfied with the softener, that you don't think the water feels soft?
If that is a correct assessment, we recommend that you reach out to your installer. We are certain they will want the opportunity to address and resolve this concern.

We needed a water system. We got rust and a lot of iron in the water. Our Kinetico softener doesn’t really get it all either, but it’s doing a better job than the one I had before. I wish I could get a system that really worked, but I had never found one yet. I’d like Kinetico to get the rust out. There was a way to get it. The guy that put it in seemed to know what he was doing, but it’s still there. I’m still dealing with rust and I had to put chlorine in there to keep it from smelling. I’d like to be able to solve that problem. I use a way lot less salt with Kinetico, but it still hasn’t solved the rust problem. It was an improvement, but it’s not 100%. And if they'd get something better, I’d be interested.

My girlfriend looked Kinetico up and she liked the product. We've had hard water and we got a water softener and a purifier as well. Working with the people at Kinetico was pretty easy. We just had the consult appointment, and the sales called, and they came out. We set up an appointment, and they came out and put the stuff in. Since using our Kinetico, I've noticed it's more clear when I pour a glass of water. I used to have like white stuff and chunks in my water.

We got the big water softener and then we got the reverse osmosis from Kinetico Water Systems. It’s been with our family since I can remember. Their rep, Manny, was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and really pleasant to work with. He was friendly and professional too. The installation guy was cool. We had all the supplies already and we just needed it piped in. He gave me his honest opinion, “I don’t really think that you need this setup, but we can get extras if you need to do it later on.” Since then, I noticed the soft water feel in our shower and the drinking water has been good.

I’ve had my Kinetico system for over 20-plus years. It is a low salt-use product and it doesn't require power for use. With it, the water is soft water and feels different than normal water, but we like it. Their installer couldn't be any more pleasant. He is very knowledgeable. He knows what he is talking about, knows the system, and knows what it takes. It was a very good experience. I highly recommend Kinetico's system.
