We got rural water out on a acreage, and the water wasn’t as soft as what we woulda liked, and we were seeing a lot of calcium deposits on fixtures. The local Kinetico rep here in this area does a really nice job. The rep came out, did some water testing, and he was really easy to work with. Another benefit after talking with him was having the salt tank be remote. So, we have that out in the garage, and then the line runs from the salt tank into the house to where the actual filtration tanks are. That was a huge benefit. We got the Signature Series and the installation was painless. They came in, scheduled the installation, and got it done in a couple of hours.

We got the water softer system and drinking station from Kinetico. We worked with Ray and everything was really, really good. Everything was really quick, very knowledgeable, and gave me the details on how to use and maintain the system. I had an issue with the system shortly after it was installed, and Ray was there pretty much the very next day. The drinking system was linked to the fridge, and he didn’t close the valve tightly from the normal water hose, so the water leaked through the basement. Ray looked at it and saw the leak. And he was willing to pay for the damage. Overall, the system is a very good product and we enjoy it. The drinking water tastes sweet, and the water is softer than what it was. I use the same water for a hot tub, and the water has been pretty easy on the skin. I would definitely recommend Kinetico.

My new house has hard water and I started researching water softeners. I googled and a friend told me about Kinetico. The rep was very informative and the interaction with the installation team was very good. They were able to get it installed quickly. Since having Kinetico, I haven't noticed the issues that we had at our previous house such as a lot of calcium buildup on our faucets.

We got hard water where we lived and we were looking for a water softener. We called a couple of people to come look at it and Kinetico was the best. They were more reasonably priced and there was no electrical hook-up with them. The reps were all pleasant and the installers got the installation done. Since we had Kinetico, the water looks good now and I would recommend them. They did a good job and we like them.

We got a hard water so I got a water softener system from Kinetico. I’ve used them in the past and I’ve liked the products. The rep came out when I needed him to, and had everything ready to go. He seemed to know what he was doing and talking about. He was pretty knowledgeable. Since having the system we've had less hard water spots on our dishes. I can feel the difference in the water as well when taking the shower.

We have Kinetico's softening system as well as their drinking water system. The installers who came to our house were on time and very clean. They did a very good job and everything went well. The first softener we had was terrible and Kinetico's has been a much better product. It's basically bullet-proof! For maintenance, I just add salt to it. I've talked up Kinetico to everybody I talked to about the water softener.

We had Kinetico in a prior house we lived in for 20 years. We had both the clean and saltwater systems before. We also acquired a Kinetico soft water system and drinking water station in our new house. I like the low salt use in the water softener. We think that the pressure is better with the Kinetico. I also feel like the taste and clarity are better than they were. Setting an appointment with Kinetico was great. The people I spoke with were very friendly and helpful. The installation team was also very professional. They did a great job, explained all the aspects of the system to me and left their area clean.

We bought our third system from Kinetico. This includes the water softener and the reverse osmosis. Kinetico just works and their products have been excellent. We built a house several years ago and put their system in there. Since then, my wife has been sold and any time we moved, we just put a Kinetico system in. Purchasing was easy and we used the same guy, Jerry, all three times. Jerry does what he says he is gonna do. He gives you a price and the installers come out and set up the system when Jerry has it scheduled. For our last installation, they were out here for two and a half hours.

We just had a new house and we live in a lake so we wanted to have the water softener and purification system in there. My wife wanted to have soft water and we also like good drinking water. I saw Jerry, the sales guy, and I took one of his brochures and started researching Kinetico. I seemed to like him too. He is very conscientious. When we had a couple of issues, he was right out there, making sure that it went well. I ran into a couple problems, Kinetico took care of those right away and Jerry even came out on his own afterwards which was impressive. So I felt very happy. Somehow, one of our pipes got cut in the installation and we had some water come in but they got it stopped in time. It didn’t damage too much. Now that the system has been installed, the water tastes a lot better than what I’ve been used to over the years in my other locations. I’m very happy at this point.

Kinetico is the best type of water softener out there because of the way it works. I researched that extensively 25 years ago and the way it works is just the way it should be. I had a Lindsay before. It was their most expensive one but it was crap. It lasted about 10 years but it needed a lot of work. On the other hand, I had had my Kinetico unit for 25 years before I called to have it analyzed. The representative who came out was really friendly and very helpful too. I liked him really well. He seemed to know what he was doing because he had been working on it for quite a while. Then he clearly laid out my options. I could recondition the old one or I could replace it. So it was totally up to me. There was no pressure.

I probably should have just reconditioned the old one but I decided to replace it and a different guy came out for the installation. That guy was a plumber and he knew what he was doing. I could tell by the way he used his tool and the tools that he had that he was a professional. He installed the water softener very well and it passed inspection very well too.

We have a lake house with well water in it and it has a Sulphur smell so we recently purchased a water softening tanks, Sulphur tanks and reverse osmosis system from Kinetico. That was our second purchase. We have it at our main house in Omaha and now we have it at our lake house. I like the people, the brand name and I think of it as a quality product. Their sales rep was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. But the look of the equipment was what really made me pleased - the tanks and the fitting, the valves. It’s something that I’m proud of. The installation experience was perfect. However, instead of using clear or white tubing like they did in our Omaha home, they used a yellow, kinda old-looking tubing, which made them look old from the start and I’m not happy with that. It looked like they grabbed something out of the back of the garage. That was my only dissatisfaction.

We had an iron filter installed three years ago in our house with well water in Ontario Canada. About a year later the water pressure would suddenly drop. The service technician said there was sand in the filter valve and advised we also install a prefilter housing and use 5 micron filters which we spent over $500 to have fixed. We change the filter every three weeks or so. Last night the water pressure was fine but this morning suddenly there was no water at all. We bypassed the Kinetico Iron filter and the water pressure was fine again.

There is clearly a problem with the unit. Calling our Kinetico dealer we got the same answer, get a technician in and pay $120 for the call then we can diagnose the issue, and it could be sand again. Well, when they came in did a water test before the initial installation there was no mention of sand or any issues we were advised of. This unit has been nothing but a problem and we are expected to pay for service calls again to try and diagnose an issue which we believe is with the unit, perhaps we have a lemon unit. Highly frustrating experience.

Their reps put it in and the experience was okay. At this point, I’m hoping that the water quality is good. I'll just assume that the filtration system is okay. I don’t test it and I don’t have any way of testing it. Nevertheless, with the water softener, the water is softer. You can really tell the difference between hard and soft water.

We called around to find the best deal on a water system for our house and Kinetico Water Systems was what we came across with. The guy I dealt with at Walsh’s Water Treatment Service out of Torrington did a really good job. He’s been super helpful whenever we needed anything. The installer took a little while to get all the stuff together. We had ordered the parts and the installation was fast and easy once he got everything here. Since the system has been installed, the water doesn’t smell anymore. And my oldest son who has eczema really bad, his skin has totally cleared up. The rep came out one day just to make sure the system is working right, but we haven’t had any issues. It’s a good system. We recommended it and our neighbor had one put in too not too long ago.

Kinetico's customer service reps were very helpful and easy to work with. They came out right away. They sent somebody to kinda do a demo to test the water and gave us the information on the product. Then, on the installation side, it all went very smoothly. Everything was on time and done very professionally. We got a softener with reverse osmosis system this time and it's going fine. I'm on my second water softener from Kinetico. Great product, but the plumbers are very messy. I'm very frustrated with their service. They come out and cut lines or disconnect them and water goes everywhere and they don't even care. I've had more water damage because of their plumbers than I have had with two water heaters going out. The water has gone under my walls into the next room and it's taken me days to clean up. I should have called a disaster cleanup company and billed Kinetico. This will be my last service with them. When this system goes out I'll be going to another brand/company. You can rest assured that I'll be questioning them about their service and plumbers!! Keep a shop-vac and plenty of towels handy when they come out. They just don't care where the water goes nor how much of it goes.

We've had Kinetico for 40 years in total, and this time, I got a Kinetico water softener for the whole house. They are more expensive, but we figured in the long run, it would be worth it. I've always had good rapport with the reps, and as for maintenance of my system, all I ever do is put salt in it. It's unlike our other system which wasn't quite as good as this one because we went through a lot of salt with that. The Kinetico system hardly uses any salt and it's much more efficient. We went there and then thought the Omaha operation would be better to use. We had a good experience setting up our appointment. They were good to work with for that. However, besides the hard water test, they were supposed to get us more samples of the test for our water to see what we had in it. They never got back to us on that. Other than that, everything worked well. We bought the water softener and the installation process was good. I wish however that the system had a clear plastic cover instead of a solid one, so I can tell if it's full or not. Still, I'm happy with it. I noticed that the hard water stains have gone away.

The sales rep was knowledgeable and the installers who came out were courteous. The installation of the water softener was easy and it only took the installers one morning. The system is simple and they told me what I needed to know. They also did a follow-up a little bit later to make sure everything's going well and now, I just make sure that the system is filled with salt. The house we bought already had Kinetico installed. It was an older version of the Kinetico system but we upgraded when a rep came to do some repairs on the water softener system. He had to come out several times to fix the water softener as a seal inside the head of the softener was not working properly and would constantly run. He took the head apart and replaced some parts. But it started doing the issue again so he brought another part out and it’s been working ever since. Also, prior to where we had them come out, the system was really noisy and I did not hear it run anymore. Whatever the rep did fixed the problem. I can hear it click on but it’s not as noisy as it was before.

With the old system, we get about a pitcher of water and then the water pressure would completely drop off and we have to wait for it to rebuild the water supply. Now that we upgraded to the new style pressurized system, we get more water out of it. We have been in the house for three years and our water is really nice and soft. It seems to work fine.

The low rating is, instead, for the people, installation, and horrendous customer service. They don’t show up with what they need to do the installation so they have to reschedule. They show up more than 2 hours late to do the installation. They tell you it will take 2-3 hours to do the installation and then don’t leave for more than 6 hours. When you complain, it takes 5 days for them to get around to getting back to you (I’m talking to you VP **) with a pathetic, insulting “apology” and compensation offer. They do not care in the slightest whether you are satisfied or not. They got your money, they’re satisfied. Buy the system if you want. But know the people will insult you, waste your entire day, and drill into the foundation of your house without asking. Up to you.

Thanks for sharing this information. Most people with a concern that they want resolved will provide their complete contact information. As it stands, the dealer knew precisely who you are.

We spoke with the installing dealer of whom you share your concern. It's understood that you wanted the product installed on a Saturday by noon. Upon arrival, it was agreed that they made a mistake in agreeing to this appointment as they could not possibly complete the job in that time frame. An admitted error on their part.

Regarding the drilled wall, all pre-filters must be anchored to the wall. This is standard practice. We are sorry if you were not made aware of this in advance.

The dealer has explained that they came to an understanding with your husband by taking a financial loss on the product and providing a refund in an effort to regain your confidence.

We hope that the performance of your water treatment products will eliminate your feeling of wasting your day to have them installed.

We knew that Pettyjohn's was good and so we went to them and we got a Kinetico water softener. The rep we worked with, Dustin, was very informative and helpful. He answered all our questions and did everything upright. He was also the one who installed the unit and he walked us through how to use it. He made sure that we understood what was going on. Since we've had the system, there has been no sediment in our water and it has been very soft. We've been using a small amount of soap and it's wonderful. I've already recommended Kinetico to other people.

Kinetico Water Systems is the best water softener in reverse osmosis. All their equipment is top-notch. I never had any problem or had very few problems with any of their equipment. I know some companies, they'll sell Kinetico and then they'll sell a cheaper brand. I sell strictly Kinetico because that's how I make my mark in my market. The quality of their equipment is the best. Hardness, iron, and the Hydrogen sulfide smell are the big concerns around our area. And then, we can make the drinking water with the reverse osmosis better than a lot of the bottled waters out there.

Kinetico's service department is awesome. When I order something, I get it four or five days. They're from Ohio and I'm in Montana, but I never had any problem with an order being filled incorrectly or not getting it in a timely manner. They're awesome. And then, you can ask them anything all the time. The only time I have to call Kinetico is when I'm really stumped, which is not that often for the service part, because I've been doing it for so long. And then with their website, ordering stuff is way easier. They have it down and they're very supportive in the branding part.

The installation was really simple. The bypass valve, through Kinetico, you can go in or out on either side. It saves a lot of time plumbing that way so you don't have to make a lot of loop to lose. The reverse osmosis are really simple to put in. They're just all push on connections now. I can install the water softener about an hour and a half. So if I'm going to put in a reverse osmosis under the sink, I can do it in about 25 or 30 minutes. I don't have to go back two or three times. Also, they are awesome to work with. Servicing them was so easy.

I've heard good things about Kinetico and decided to go with them given their reputation. When we were setting up the first meeting, the rep was really responsive and flexible, and they got out here really quickly. Their water test confirmed what I already knew - us having hard water and that it had a lot of iron - and I needed to do something about it. So, I got a water softener and the water filtration system. The installation went smoothly and the guy who did it worked efficiently. He was in and out in about four hours and the place was clean as could be when he left. And now, the water's great. It's not hard anymore. It had a little bit of a smell, which is gone now. The drinking water filtration system is saving us from buying cases of water every single month. I would recommend Kinetico.

You don't have to have power run into your system for the water treatment. I also like the way they demonstrated it better than Culligan. That was 17 years ago and it was great. Then we had to redo our reverse osmosis this last year so we got another system put in there. There are different owners of the company now but I have no problem with them. He came over a couple of days after I called. We went through everything and told them what we wanted. He gave us a couple of different options. We came to a conclusion that we just wanted two of the under counter models and purchased them. During the installation, the interaction I had with their team was perfect. We know them and worked with them before so we know what to expect. They're very good, professional and quick. We knew that we were gonna put a new water system in so we had it set up from our plumber who plumbed the building. It was an easy install. Since we have gotten it, the water is great and we don't drink the regular water. We ran it into the dishwasher in the break room and also to the refrigerator. Hello Dinesh,

A water softener does not have the ability to send soft water to 1 location and hard to another. The water out of the softener is either hard or soft. If the hot water is hard, then the source of hardness should be sought out in that area.

He followed me from one state to the other and was really good. He called me even after he stopped working for Kinetico. I had a good experience with the installers as well. I've had Kinetico in three different states, and they were all very good. I had one system that was faulty and they stuck with it until it was fixed. It took several hours and two trips, and they were really nice and they stuck with the whole process. After the installation of the system, the water has no taste and no smell.

We needed a water softener. Our water was clogging up everything around and there was so much chaos. The Kinetico rep I spoke with was awesome. He explained everything and showed us demonstrations. He was just a real delight and easy to work with. The main reason I went with Kinetico is they’re local. The other ones will be about 40 minutes away. One of my family members has a different name brand, and their system isn’t quite as sophisticated as mine. The installation team that came out to set up the system have done it great. They were quick and efficient, and in and out in a few hours.

The Kinetico system has been of excellent quality. My clothes are cleaner and my water is better. Like in the washing machine, our clothes will come and they’d be a little stiff. If I buy a brand new shirt that’s super soft, and throw them in the washing, it wasn’t the same. Now, since we put the softener and stuff in, everything is nice and soft. and our dishes get cleaned without the calcium.

We live in a town next to the Missouri River and the water around here is really hard, with lots of calcium deposits and junk in it. We had worked with Air and Water Solutions in Columbia, Missouri and it was those guys who really made the sale of the Kinetico system something that I was comfortable with. When the Air and Water Solutions representative came out, he did the free water test. He talked to us about our usage, if the system was gonna be able to handle it and how best to serve our capacity. He knew it really well so it was really great from start to finish and it has been great since. We got the commercial water softener system for our restaurant and it's a good product.

We have a lot of equipment, like espresso machines, that run water through all day long. So it's really important to us to make sure we have a system that is working consistently and providing a soft water experience throughout. The Kinetico system, at least, has and we've always been really impressed with it. We also called the Air and Water Solutions representative on a couple of occasions for maintenance issues or questions with the system and to make sure that everything was still running pretty effectively and properly.

There were hardness and iron bacteria in our water. I did a fair amount of research on different types of water treatment systems. We went with Kinetico. Our cabin is off the grid, so we preferred to have something that didn’t use electricity. Plus, there were lots of good reviews on the web that were independent of Kinetico. Also, we were quite impressed with the local distributor in Galesville. They were great people to work with.

Dustin came up and tested our water. He knew what he was doing. It was tough but he was able to come up with a good system, and everything was great. We got two tanks for a softener, two tanks to reduce iron bacteria, and a filter for sulfur odor. We had Dustin put those in. We also had him come up and show us how to take the system offline and drain the tanks because we’re not there in the winter. And even though the room is heated, we don’t wanna take a chance on the heater going out and the room freezing, and the water in the tanks freezing. He showed us step-by-step how to drain the tanks and all that, and then showed us how to put it back together, and did that several times until we could do it ourselves. The water was undrinkable before and it's good now. We're happy.

We went with the reverse osmosis system for our drinking water and they did a wonderful job of installing it. They cleaned up after themselves and they took the Culligan stuff that we had here back to them which was also nice. Now, I don’t ever worry about our water and I don’t have to worry about somebody showing up to give me salt. We had Kinetico when we were down in Arizona, and when we moved up to Montana, we put a Sears water softener in and had really big problems with hardness. We wanted really good drinking water, and we wanted a water system that would create enough water for us to drink. There is no doubt that Kinetico is absolutely the most expensive on the market, but having had the advantage of having rented a Kinetico down in Arizona, we saved our pennies and that's what we got.

We bought the heavy-duty water softener and the big reverse osmosis system. The tech and his son did a fine job on the installation, but it wasn't quite the professional installation team I had expected. The system is working fine, but when you're paying that much money for a system, you don't want dad to be teaching his son how to do it. Also, they could be a little bit more willing to come out afterwards and test, and make sure that everything is in line. But by the same token, he put in extra water filters so that we could gauge the water coming across before it ever hit the Kinetico system. This system works, and I know because I take showers every other day. Since we've had it put in, we've not had to put another bag of salt. With the old Sears, in a month's time we would have to put four or five bags of salt in. This one just goes and goes.

I've had Kinetico water softeners myself twice before and I like it a lot better than the old type. I had the other kind that used electricity and what I like about Kinetico is that it doesn't use any electricity. It's self-contained. We have a lot of power outages here and it doesn't affect my water softener at all. The other system wasn't keeping the water as clear as it should be too. I would test the water, and it had several grains of hardness. Now with Kinetico the water has zero grains of hardness if you keep the salt up on it.

The people who sold me the system came right out and put in the system. They also take care of things and I trust them. It's been years that I've had Kinetico and I'm much more happy with it. I've never heard of a better water softener system that I would think about going to. This is my third Kinetico. I'm retired now, so I'm living in an apartment at my daughter-in-law's house and at my first move in here, I bought her one.

I knew our area had hard water, and it was a concern because our clothes are thrown in and they come out having a smell to them, and they just couldn't get cleaned. We also started noticing a lot of white residue in the shower and other areas where the water was constantly in contact with the surface, and it was gross living in that condition. Plus our one year old was still on the bottle so we were buying filtered water for her 'cause we didn't want her to drink that nasty water. We decided that we would try and see if there was something we could afford to do. I was looking into several different water companies, and I only had two come over and do demos. The first one came over and did the demonstration, but they were a lot more expensive than Kinetico. I also looked at ConsumerAffairs online and tried to compare the different systems, and Kinetico was a lot better on it.

We got the water softening system for the house and a drink filtration system with the nozzle installed in the kitchen. The guy that does the installation and the service of the equipment came over and didn't take too long, and then they set everything up pretty quickly. He had a lot of experience and he knew what he was doing, so we were happy with that. Everything that Kinetico told us to expect was there, and they answered all our questions.

In taking showers, we've noticed that the water is different now. It also has a different taste to it. The system hardly requires any kind of salt. The other competitor swore to me that all their competitors in the area were gonna cost me a lot of money and salt, and we noticed that was not true. Even with the drinking system, Kinetico told us to keep an eye on it. We got a little gauge in there to let me know when the filters need to be changed, which we would have to pay for or we could do it ourselves. But we still have plenty of room before those filters need to be changed. It seems like it's not taking that much out of the filter to do it. So it's neat that we're saving more money than we thought we would.

I called for service and a very helpful tech checked and our bypass valve has failed and the meter valve as well. As it is out of warranty this is very costly and is getting the repair cost up to where we are likely going to replace the system as a valve rebuild is only guaranteed for one year and I guess to replace the meter valve is not an option for my system as it is not offered. I was impressed during the 10 years of performance but both valves breaking down and ridiculous cost are pushing us away from Kinetico.

We got Kinetico years ago. We lived in Flippin, Arkansas and the water was awful. It was extremely hard and we saw that we would be better off with a water softener. We had been to one of the kids' houses and they had a water softener downstairs. But that thing ground up salt at night and it was big and loud. It drove me crazy. We also didn’t much care for it because the water was salty. Then we went to a county fair and talked to Lisa. It took us a few minutes to talk to her then we ordered the Kinetico whole house water softener. Lisa's brother installed it and it was done. It didn’t take very long and we were really happy with Kinetico.

We live in a different town now and we got a new water softener as quickly as we could. The water over here was full of sulfur. It smelled like rotten eggs. I called Lisa and asked who the Kinetico dealer was over here. She said, "You're talking to her." I told her what we needed and she said okay. She asked who was gonna put it in and I told her we would get a plumber. We called this plumbing company and they worked together. They came over and looked at stuff then she brought the thing over. Lisa told the plumber how and what went where and I thought the plumber was the worst part. He took forever to get it installed. It could have been done in an hour but the system has worked flawlessly ever since.

The system uses a lot less salt than it used to. But it may be the type of water or the improvements on the machine. There are two tanks sitting in our laundry room, right off the kitchen, and you'll never know it was running unless you walked in the laundry room and put water into the thing. The Kinetico system is the best thing on the market. You can't do any better. It doesn’t use any electricity either.

I'm a customer in Davis, California. Recently, several cities in our area completed a water project that alleviated some of the hard water concerns and reduced the contaminants that were coming from our groundwater, including hard water conditions. This reduced the number of hard water systems that our local dealer was selling. Consequentially, Kinetico's partner sales quota was not being met. So Kinetico, in the ultimate act of not giving 2c about their customers, completely pulled the partnership agreement to our local water company.

There is now no local company that can provide parts for Yolo County, and none of the other dealers want to make the significant drive down to service equipment. Instead of putting customers first and recognizing the need to continue to service the 20+ years of installed customers in the region, Kinetico put short-term profit concerns ahead of customers. We are having to rip and replace a less than two year old and more than $1500 reverse osmosis system as we cannot get replacement cartridges, and Kinetico doesn't have a non-dealer channel to get them. Shame on this company. Shame on Kinetico for abandoning their end-users. We will never do business with your company again. We have almost $5000 invested in Kinetico equipment, but this will be the last time we ever purchase or recommend anything from the company again.

Think very carefully about the fragility of their dealer network before you buy. Might be ok in big cities where they have almost overlapping dealer networks. But in areas that aren't as populated as New York or San Francisco, Kinetico doesn't have redundant coverage. Combined with their willingness to simply abandon thousands of customers that have been with them for decades, and you can really see what Kinetico as a company stands for. It's not pretty.

Samuel and Kinetico has had good private conversation. It is true that Kinetico dealers are provided specific territory to cover and if the coverage is not met, the area will be given to another company that provides appropriate brand representation.

The purpose is to insure that potential customers receive the quality product they desire and do not get flipped to a lesser product and existing customers obtain the quality service they deserve.

    This is good business.

However; in the county referenced in this review, it is not the case. The business partnership was dissolved for other reasons. All customers registered in the warranty registration data base were informed by letter of the 3 dealers that now cover the area.

Kinetico welcomes any and all questions regarding our business practices.

I had a Kinetico system in 2005 in my previous home in Tampa, Florida and I liked it. The water was okay and everything was good. Then we had a home built out in the country across the state line in Georgia, across the river. I had the water tested and the guy said that it had a little iron in it. But another guy came out from another company. He checked it out and said that there was absolutely nothing wrong with this water, which I kinda already knew. I grew up here in the same spot at my grandparent’s old place. We have a deep well that's 188 feet deep and the water tasted fine. But it was a little rough. It may have had a lot of scale or calcium.

I had a new pump put in the well and I don’t know if the guy who did it disturbed something in the line but the water seemed to get more iron. Our master shower started getting a little more orange-ish. My wife was having to scrub the thing every two or three days. She said she shouldn't have to do that and that there was something going on here. Then we got the Kinetico system and now, it’s once every two weeks that you have to get in there and scrub a little bit, but not much. It’s a lot easier to clean.

The installation was easy as well. These guys hooked everything up. Two guys came out and wanted to run it in through my laundry room and down the drain into my septic. Instead, I suggested turning that line back around the other way, come back out the garage wall, come back basically the same way they were going in and put it out there in the yard somewhere. They had some concerns about the grass but I told them that I live in the country and I couldn't care less about the grass. Then they said that out of concern, they should send a word around to HOA. But I’m on five acres and I don’t have a neighbor so who cares? I guess they were used to hooking up around HOAs in Jacksonville.

There was also a slight stench of sulfur that sprung up though, and we still have that for some reason. I had mentioned it when I came in to CGC two months before and bought more salt. They instructed me to put a little bit of bleach in the salt bin but it really didn’t help a lot. The main office gal upfront also said that she would have some guy come back out and check it out. But I’ve never seen that guy. That fell through the cracks. But it’s not an emergency anyway. It’s a very limited stench. I really can’t smell it but my wife can. She’s just finicky. But other than that, it's all good. The water is definitely better than it was.

It’s not Kinetico's fault that the water has a little sulfur in it. I thought I paid enough money for this system though. This thing was $4,515 itself. The guy didn’t mention a whole-house reverse osmosis system though, and I thought about doing that. But they wanted $15,000 and I don’t know for sure if it would do what it’s supposed to do. So I got hesitant on that one. The money was doing the talking on that one. But all in all, the experience has been good. Kinetico does what they’re supposed to do.

We had lived in Arizona and the water there was really bad. It tasted like chlorinated dirt water. We were at a home show in Phoenix many years ago and we saw the Kinetico water systems. We talked to different people who had different systems in their houses, but they were still not happy with them. We looked at Kinetico and tried the water that they had from the systems they had on people's houses there, and the water tasted fantastic from the crappy awful water that was showing up in our clothes, our skin and our appliances. So, we had a Kinetico system installed in Arizona.

After that, we moved to Virginia, but there was no Kinetico down at Central Virginia at that time. We whined and cried about it. We moved to Atlanta and there was no Kinetico at that time. We whined and cried about it. I went to Mississippi and there was no Kinetico there. We whined and cried about it, too. But when we moved here, we found out that there was a system available. We've only been here for a few weeks before they had the system installed. The water here in Huntsville is also really bad, so we purchased a water softener, a water filter system and a RO system.

Kinetico's sales representative was phenomenal. He was totally a people person and was extremely responsive. Not only did he walk me through my Kinetico system, but he has also helped me out with some other things in the house. He has met so many people in the area through his job that he has put me in contact with other services to assist me with things such as a useful handyman and a better plumber. He went above and beyond and was extremely knowledgeable.

The installation team was fantastic and they were another above and beyond team. We wanted to make sure everything was right. I started having some trouble with the RO system not working periodically and found out it was an operator error, but they sent somebody out right away to figure out what the problem was. My skin feels so much better and the water tastes phenomenal since having the system installed. We had the system put in with the RO that adds minerals back in, so it tastes like expensive bottled water like Dasani.

My scalp is horribly dry and flaky and itching like crazy. I get my hair shampooed and blow-dried. My scalp is awful when the place doesn’t use filtered water, but when they use the Kinetico, it really helps my scalp come back. In fact, I may end up having to switch to a different place or take a gallon of my filtered water with me because the water bothers my scalp so much. When I wash my hair at home, it starts to clear up. Kinetico definitely makes a huge difference in the water and what it does for the skin. I have already recommended them to friends and family members. My husband had gotten a Zero Water Filter thing other than the more expensive one from Bed, Bath and Beyond, but when we would take the water from the tap and run it through Zero Water Filter, there would be mini grains of sand in it and the little filter thing would wear out twice as fast as it is supposed to so that's how bad the water is.

If Kinetico wants to put me in a commercial, I'll be happy to do it because I really believe in the product. It is the second system we've had. I believe it's helping the people. People said that they looked into it, but it was expensive, but I said, "And so is dying or being sick or getting cancer." Kinetico also did a great job in hiring phenomenal people and I cannot say enough about the folks that I've dealt with.

It was staining the shower and other stuff, hence not the best thing for us. I bought a Kinetico water softener with the filter as well as a soda ash container and a pressure pump. The plumbers took a little longer to install than expected but they just ran in some issues since the pump was defective. They had to get back and get another one. Still, they were great. While we paid about $5,000, we'd do it again if I had to do it again. We're happy with our Kinetico experience and the water is delicious now.

I've always had a water filtration system on my house, but it was 17 years old and dilapidated and it was time for a new one. I'm a commercial refrigeration service technician that works on commercial establishments and all of the Darden Restaurants use Kinetico Water Systems, so when I decided to get a new one, I figured I would call Kinetico and see if they had a residential version, and they did. I've got a system through them that's working great and I never had a problem with Kinetico. I got the one with the water-driven system on it, so there is no electricity involved. A lot of commercial establishments use Kinetico and I work on all their equipment. It has the water running through them and they don't have hardness issues, so I knew that it was a good piece of equipment.

The gentleman from Kinetico showed up on time and he was really helpful and really professional. He knew what he was talking about and he had facts and everything to back it up. He wasn't just spouting off numbers. The people that installed the system were awesome. I've never seen anybody work quite like that. They were impressive. I'm very pleased with the product and the service.

We have horrible water in Branson. It was hard and stinky, so they treat it with a lot of chlorine which was not good for my wife. So, we chose to soften the water and get something better for ourselves and for our pets to drink. I researched and it came down to Kinetico and RainSoft. Kinetico was more expensive but it was a good system and it was complete so, we got a water softener and a carbon filter. Wes at Air & Water Solutions was good to work with on getting the appointment set up. When he came out, he accepted the fact that our water was hard and it was not about what he can do but the stuff that has already been covered. He went through it all.

We had a difficult or an awkward installation because of the general configuration and he brought an installer in to go over it. He made sure that he understood what they would have to do and how they would have to do it before he got started and before we got contracted. It was one of his own employees and he had him here the next day. The two of them looked at things and measured them out to make sure they understood how they were going to accomplish what it was we wanted and if they could actually do it. We came to the conclusion that they could and they did it quite well.

For the first five months, the water was great. It was comfortable to bathe again and you felt clean when you were done. Then, after about five months, we happened to replace the water heater because it was an older one and had all the build-up in it. By taking all the chlorine out, we wound up with stinky water and so, we replaced the water heater. After five months, we wound up with stinky water again. We called and what it came down to is because we had taken all the chlorine out of the water through the softening, we were starting to get a little bit of a build-up. So, we wound up having to add an electronic anode rod to the water heater to take care of the problem that the chlorine had previously taken care of to deal with the odor. Since then, it has been fine but we wound up replacing just about everything in the water system.

As bad as our water is here, people should plan right upfront, when they do the water softener. If their water heater is more than a year old, they should go ahead and do the water heater at the same time and make sure it’s got an electronic anode rod because the chemical exchange anode rods aren’t strong enough with the water we’ve got. I would still recommend Kinetico. I’m very happy with what we’ve got going on now although it was painful to get here. It’s just people need to know upfront what they’re facing on this water.

We moved here in Missouri from Colorado and the water here is so hard and yellow and so yucky-tasting. I did some online research and went to Home Depot. There, they recommended the Kinetico guys and they set us up with an appointment. When the rep came out, we were comfortable with him. We liked him and the price of the system he has is a whole lot better too. In fact, he didn't have as much of a sale to do because we'd already known what we needed and yet, he still answered all our questions. He even looked around to see what plumbing came in. Since we also needed a hot water heater at the time, he gave us the name of the young man to do that for us. He was not only knowledgeable, but was helpful as well.

The installation of the softener and the filtration system went very well. The installation guy replaced the pipe under the house with ¾-inch from a ½-inch so it was good. He was very nice and professional. Ever since having Kinetico as our system, there's a huge difference in our water. Before we had to change the filter more often because we're on well water. It's a community well and we're the closest to that well. When they did some major work on it, all this sludge and cruds came rushing down. I can’t imagine what it would've been like with that water.

When I take a shower there is a burning sensation in my eyes, my white clothes are dingy and my silverware is no longer silver. a few months ago I watered my IRIS bed with softened water, they all died. What is in my healthy, softened sodium free water? I took a sample from my well head and from the faucet of softened water to Aquatic Consulting and Testing, a state certified company. They tested for hardness and sodium, the results left me stunned. These are the standards the USGS uses for soft water/sodium content.

0-75MG/L; Soft water. 300+ MG/L very hard water. Sodium content; Anything over 20MG/L I should notify a doctor. TEST RESULTS - Wellhead hardness: 970MG/L. Faucet soft water: 500MG/L. Sodium content: 432MG/L. As you can see, nothing Kinetico promised is within tolerances. My Kinetico franchise tech. looked at the results and the excuses started coming. The last charges from him were $175 trip and $325 for parts. I have complained, for years, to Kinetico region/corporate to Jan, Mike, Jesse and Jennifer and my tech. Nothing has been solved.

I have spent over 2.5K and had to buy a new water heater. The servicing tech. would not honor the warranty, it was 2.5yrs old, because the bottom was filled with white stuff. I am preparing a package to Arizona State Attorney's office, consumer affairs, later to BBB and our channel 15 news, consumer complaints, investigative team. We had a flood in the basement and lost a lot of paper work and have been unable to find our rental agreement.

Six years ago my wife had to retire do to health reasons making us a one income household, I tried to purchase this unit out right because we remember this was a rent to buy rental agreement, I offered them $800 and they said no. We had a verbal agreement to pay quarterly so according to Kinetico. We owe them $200 for rent now and because we had to pay cash for the new unit I asked if I could make two payments to clear this up. I have just purchased another brand twin tank system (not a rental) and we have asked Kinetico to pick up their unit and stop the rental agreement NOW and they told us unless we paid them the $200 they would not pick it up and would continue to bill me. At the bare minimum we have given them over $9K for this and unless I give them $1000. For a 20 year old system they just laugh. I could keep going but life is too short.

Setting up the appointment was fine and I never had a problem with it. Lisa, the rep I dealt with, was excellent. Since the installation of the unit, it has helped with our skin especially in the wintertime. It also helps to moisturize our skin and it makes it feel slippery. Also, there are no longer hard water spots in the shower anymore. We really like Kinetico.

The thing I like the best about it is that there’s no electric involved and that you have the two media tanks and it switches back and forth when you hit x amount of gallons of water usage. In our other water softener, we had it on a timer where it would regenerate in the middle of the night. This one is probably set at about 250 gallons. Every 250 gallons, it regenerates and it switches over to the other media tank. So there’s no interruption in service of soft water like there was with the other one. So that is one of the really great features of this system.

Kinetico checked the water and they put a thing, which takes the chlorine out too because that’s too high in the water, too. They said our water was really hard and it had more than average minerals in it. This is a Limestone County and we have hard water everywhere around here. The guy came out and installed the system. He seemed to be qualified as far as I knew. Since then, the water tastes better and soap will foam up better in the shower. It works and I’m really satisfied. We bought the house about five years ago and the old softener from the previous owner was one of the cheap units that only lasts five years. It completely broke and we needed to get it replaced. We purchased a residential water softener from Kinetico. We did an online request and it's built-in to the site. Then they contacted us less than two days later. Everything was smooth. Fortunately, my wife and I have a little bit of flexibility to work from home and they showed up when they said that they would. Their salesperson was excellent. He came over, explained everything, and he was very thorough.

One of the local places that we have gone to gave me a cheaper quote over the phone, but they didn't even come to the house and inspect what we had as a system. Kinetico was not the cheapest price, but the rep that came over was worth the extra 200 bucks because it was nice to know that he knew exactly what he was doing and he explained what the installers would do. I also had more confidence with him coming over to the house rather than just somebody saying, "Oh yeah, it's this price. Then we'll come over. We'll put your equipment." They don't even know if I live in a McMansion or a shack. It was just very strange to me. The installers came in and were in there for less than two hours. Our new system is way more efficient in terms of the salt that you use, it's cleaner, and it looks great. The water feels better and the showers are better too. You can also tell that it's installed properly. Overall, it's a better unit than the older one.

A lot of my friends actually live in the city or out in Long Island. A lot of them has sewage or city hook-up. I would tell friends to check Kinetico out and at least see the quote and their offer. Having well water, I always grew up with a water softener and it was really important making sure that there are no freaky sediments coming out of the ground.

Through the process of going with a tankless water heater, we talked about other options to help with keeping the water clean, filtering out particulates and keeping the calcium from building up so bad. Our contractor, Air & Water Solutions, suggested first a pre-filter for the house and a water softener to help. Kinetico was what they sold, so that's what we went with. They didn't sell us hard. Instead, they gave us all the information necessary to make a good decision. It was really nice to have them with us. The only issue we had, unfortunately, was that they only had one Kinetico water softener left and the one they brought happened to have bad threading. So they had to bring a different one two days later.

Since we got the system set up, though, I noticed there is a flavor difference which throws me off a little bit. Still, I've gotten used to it now. Also, I've noticed that we don't have to do as much cleaning of our faucet and the water is much more slippery whenever we're taking a shower. We live out in a rural area and we have a local well. I own a construction company and Kinetico moved in to the area. My company did their office and then their warehouse, so I’ve gotten to know all the guys and it went from there. Setting up my appointment with Kinetico went great and everything was fine. Their reps were very knowledgeable and they did what they said they were gonna do. We got the water softening and the filtration system from Kinetico. They did the installation and it was very efficient. They also called me with better ideas than what we talked about originally with the salesman and they took good care of me.

There is one drawback that we’ve noticed, however. The ice cubes from our icemaker were almost white and cloudy before and the salesman said they would be clear with Kinetico and that we would be able to see through them. But the system has not done that. Seeing clear ice cubes was one of the things that we were looking forward to but it's not that big of a deal. Everything seems to be fine with our water system. It's a good product, overall, and the customer service was 5-star.

When Kinetico got installed we were told we have to change the filter every three months. We are looking for a strong system which will protect all minerals in the water, reduce the hardness and give a good softness to the water. And on top of that, I want the filter system to be operational long time, not three months because we cannot change the filter every three months. The customer service needs to be improved because they need to come at least every six months to check the system and how it is working. That will be appreciated, but that is not happening. Nevertheless, I referred them to some of my friends and they already installed that one.

I like the Kinetico system. I especially like not having to use the bottled water. However, I don’t know how to maintain the system because I’m not calling Air & Water Supply back. In fact, I would tell others not to ever hire the people in Osage to do the installation because those guys know nothing about what they’re doing.

I hired Kinetico to change out my water heater and put in the water softener and the reverse osmosis for drinking. I guess Air & Water Supply is the licensed contractor here in the Osage Beach area for Kinetico. But they broke my water main off the inside of my wall and completely flooded out my condo. Plus they lied to me. They told me that I had a little leak and they cleaned it up with my mop. Thank goodness I had somebody down here to come look and they said the water was flooding out of my my kitchen door. The water came out so fast that it hit the wall and out to the side of the condo then went into my neighbor’s condo.

The plumbers told our HOA person that they would call this water mitigator, have them out there that day and get it cleaned up. But what they did in fact was go get a Rug Doctor and pull out whatever water they could get. Then they told me it was all dried up and it was fine. But the next day, the same person that I know came in to check it and the water had moved underneath the carpet and into the bedroom. I had to have water mitigators come in here and dry it all up. They had to strip out every single piece of flooring and cut off the bottom four inches of all of my dry wall. I also had to replace cabinets. It was a mess.

When I had called and asked Air & Water Supply to come back out here so the water mitigators could come and dry all of it up, they had the audacity to ask me who they were gonna bill for it. I had to pay another plumber to disconnect everything so it could be cleaned up then connect everything back up. Also, when I called them and asked them questions, they shut me out and told me that they’ll send it to their insurance and I had to deal with them. But when I called their insurance, they hadn’t sent it in yet. So I had to go through mine.

The only thing that Air & Water Supply contacted me for was to receive the balance of their payment. Whenever you do this, you pay half down and they continuously bother me about when they’re gonna get the other half. It's been four months and I’m 95% done fixing my condo. I don’t think I should have to pay them the rest of the payment. When they hooked up my Kinetico system under the sink, they even did it not to code. They had the water shut off valve in front of the electrical box. Based on the plumbers who put the system in, I'm very dissatisfied with Kinetico. I’m not a happy camper.

The Kinetico people who came to my home were well-informed and they also did a good job advising and pointing out what was right and what was wrong. They came in and tested out the water. It was a quality experience.

There was a scheduling issue during the installation. They had given me a time that worked perfectly for my wife and I, and then, they had to change it. So there was a little difficulty trying to rearrange our schedule. But once they got here, everything was done in a timely fashion. They left everything the way they found it. They even advised me on how to properly operate everything, and where to get the salt or the filters. Since the system was installed, I don't have hard water stains, which is nice. And with the reverse osmosis water filter for the drinking water, the water is great. Clean drinking water tastes delicious.

I had a good experience with Kinetico. I got a water softener and filter system from them. We bought a brand new house and the water here is really hard, it’s 20-plus grain water. We’ve had systems before and made the decision that when we bought this house, we would buy a water softener and a reverse osmosis purification system. I researched all the products that were available in the marketplace and chose Kinetico. Their system is a genius, the use of water pressure to run the whole thing. It also has fewer issues, maintenance-wise.

Interacting with Kinetico's rep was straightforward. The installation went smoothly and the mechanic did a good job on it. Kinetico's system is nice and it works well. Since having the water system installed, our water is a lot better. The installer also pointed something out underneath my house and it was pretty interesting. It was an air conditioning duct that wasn’t insulated properly and it was causing condensation. So, it was nice to get that little extra bonus and have the guy look in under there. That problem has been fixed since.

I had extremely hard water with lots of mineral deposits around the faucets. We had just bought the house and saw that it was a problem. Kinetico was referred to us and the guy from Kinetico came out and gave me a little song and dance. Before he was even done, I was already sold on it because I liked the technology and the way it was set up, and the name was good. The system has no electricity and it was kinda neat. It also did not require yearly maintenance. Everything is self-enclosed and it requires very little to do, except the salt. It was particularly appealing to me. It is a very low-maintenance system.

The installation process was simple. The gentleman came out much sooner than I had probably would expect from anyone else. He was out within a couple of days when I decided to do it with Kinetico. Something wasn't set up exactly right to accommodate where we were putting the system and he had to tap off another pipe. Without too much difficulty, he was able to install it exactly where it made sense at, and it was his idea to put it there. The installation process didn't take terribly long and it wasn't an inconvenience.

I have noticed that there are no more mineral deposits and hard water stains. I'd only have to use a little soap. The system delivered everything that the soft water is supposed to deliver. Also, my glass shower doors don't get as filthy anymore. And since there's an extra filter on the system, the water tastes outstanding. I'm one of those believers in "you get what you pay for" and while the system might have been up a bit higher than the basic water softener from their competitors, it was well worth it. It is easy to maintain and doesn't require a lot, just remember to add the salt.

The only thing that would be wise somewhere along the way is to have a timing device to let you know when it is time to add salt. The only way to find out if you need to put salt is to go down into the basement and open the system up and take a look inside. If there was a device that would say, "Beep. Hey, it's time to change me," that would be helpful. There is probably an app that could do something like that. When I forgot to check the first time, there was no salt left and we don't want to get to that point again, so now, I'm a little more stolid about doing what I'm supposed to do. I've highly recommended Kinetico and if I am put on the phone with somebody, I'd sell it right to them.

We now have Kinetico's quad tank system and the reverse osmosis system. The salesman that I had was very hands-on, knowledgeable, and patient. He was willing to answer all my questions like my inquiry about the amount of salt that would be in the water.

But I wasn’t happy with the installation. We had a leak from the installation because there was a part of the unit that wasn’t correctly installed. I don’t know if it was an installation problem or if it was just a defective unit, but it was part of the water softener unit that wasn’t done correctly. We had to do an insurance claim with Kinetico to get the water damage fixed. Dealing with the plumbing and everything to completely finish the house was difficult.

I like the reverse osmosis and the drinking water part of it because I can tell a difference in our water there. But as far as the regular water used for the showering and stuff, I haven’t really noticed that it is easier to clean the hard water stains or that I can use less soap. If I had to do it over again, I would probably choose a different company. People interested in Kinetico should do their own research.

The system worked fine for 20 days. It happened one time and then, we called them in again. It has happened four times already and the technician has come three times. The techs have been good and receptive but we are gonna call the company who did this for us one more time and find a permanent solution because we don't wanna keep on calling them all the time.

Since having the filtration system, the water has become soft and everything becomes slippery which is good. It was what we wanted too and you can see the difference now that it’s not working. We had super hard water in the house, which we really needed to deal with. My parents live in Florida and almost every home down there has a home water softening system. They recommended Kinetico based on their own experience and I wanted to go with their suggestion. I filled out an online form requesting an in-home estimate from Kinetico and I received a really prompt call setting up a time for a technician to come out. The technician came as scheduled and was very informative and helpful. He then gave us a couple of days to think over our decision. Afterwards, the install was very seamless and took a couple of hours. It was really fast. Plus, my interactions with their installation team were great. We also took advantage of the free water test. It was great and it confirmed our suspicions that we had really hard water.

Before we had the water treated, I was having significant skin issues. I noticed the skin thing because when I would travel for work, I’d be gone for five days and my skin would look amazing. Then I’d come home and it would be a disaster again. I could not figure out what was going on. My mom said it might be my water and she was right. Also, when we washed the laundry and not put it through the dryer with the dryer sheet, it would be stiff as a board like it was starched because of all the minerals in the water. The feel of it to the touch is softer now. And we aren't getting a hot pink ring around our bathtub on a weekly basis. We’ve recommended Kinetico to friends in the area who are having similar issues with their water.

It turned out, the owner lives a block from me. I talked to him and he told me to do a little more research because he thinks that I shouldn't deal with who I was dealing at that time.

So I looked around more and found Clean Water Solutions. They were very helpful and honest and did a great job of putting in the Kinetico system in my condo. So far, the 2040 model does a great job. It may be 800 bucks more, but it was in line with what I was told in Omaha. Although I am amazed at how much salt it uses, considering we weren't down there at the condo that much this year, but it gives me an idea. It uses quite a bit right out of the gate. But my wife does a lot of laundries and that's understandable. And the clothes are cleaner too. We don't have the issues with discoloration of water anymore. The house that we currently live in has about eight grains of water hardness. We have the smallest Kinetico that they make and it has been serving its purpose flawlessly for 30 years. We love the softer water. About November last year, it was time that we rebuilt the thing. Kinetico came in, they took it, put a new bed in it, and rebuilt it completely from the ground up. Now, we’re back on a new fresh unit again. Then, in April, we bought a house on the other side of town which has 20 grains of water hardness. We needed something military grade to handle that kind of hardness and I would not even think about anything short of a Kinetico for that. They recommended the top-of-the-line unit and I wasn't even gonna question that recommendation and told them to put it in.

The unit we bought has the softening and the carbon polishing. It’s for the whole house. The installation team was knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. They answered all my questions and when I had special requests, they were very congenial about doing it. They were great and I’d highly recommend them. I’m working with that company to install a whole house RO system in addition to the softener to supply my refrigerators, icemakers, and several water spigots around the house for RO water and supply tanks. They’ve been terrific in helping me out. I would never hesitate to buy another Kinetico. I tell everybody that lives near me that has a complaint about their water that they should be thinking about getting a Kinetico and they'll never have a problem. It’s an awesome design.

I got 25 years out of my old Kinetico system so I figured I’d go back with Kinetico. The installation was finished in one day. The system was the new one with the two tanks, with the backwash and the pre and the post filter on it. Backwashing is simple and the guy that installed the system walked me through everything. The water is a bit better than the old system's. I just noticed that when the old one quit working, it had the bad taste and the Sulphur content is back again. But it’s all hunky dory now.

Setting up an appointment with Signature 735, the company that installed our Kinetico full softening system was easy. The team that installed the system was very professional. they came out two days later, and they did it in a very little amount of time. They were independent and they didn’t even require a lot of watching from me. They were quick and efficient.

My interactions with their reps have been excellent, too. I’ve changed the filter a couple of times and had some questions about how to do it. They were able to walk me through, which was nice. In addition, the water test that they did was great. They showed me what was going on with the water I had -- it had silica, and iron and a couple of other things. That led us to decide to do a full system that we have. Since the system was installed, the yellow staining in all of our sinks, toilets, and bathtubs have stopped. The tap water tastes a little clearer too. I would tell everyone to go with Kinetico since we’ve had such a good experience with them.

We had a Kinetico before in our first house. We had a lot of sulfur there and the well water was hard. Kinetico worked well with that. We thus wanted to go back them again when we moved. We knew how to operate the system and had good luck with it. The Kinetico water softener we have right now, we've only had for four months and we really like it. It's really conservative on the salt which I'm really glad about. We hardly use any salt compared to the other one we used before where we used a lot of salt. I would recommend Kinetico.

So, I had to have a water treatment system. I called a lot of different companies and Kinetico happened to be in Salem or at least close to Salem. And they got back to me and answered all my questions. Then I had a ton more questions for them and they came back with answers for those. After that, they came out back with me. They tested the water as well and the rep who came out was really good. He went through everything and he seemed to do well. He was also very thorough and very knowledgeable.

The installers were really good, too. Not only did they do everything, but they put the stuff that goes under the sink back under it and everything was very nice. The product that I got from them is supposed to clean the water and add minerals back in. And so far, nobody is getting as sick as they were, and that’s long-term. All in all, Kinetico has been great and I would tell people about that.

Kinetico explained what they found in the water when they tested it and what system they recommended, and we went with that. I got a water softening system ‘cause I had hard water here in my house, and they got it installed pretty quick. However, we had some issues after it was installed. We had it break open and leak a couple times, and it was leaking all over the place. But the owner of the company got with me and got everything worked out. They sent their installer out to fix it, but the next day, it did the same thing. They sent someone else out to fix it, and we haven't had any problems since then.

The owner of the company brought out a different tank, and he didn’t charge us for that. It’s another expensive upgrade on the water system that we had, so we’re happy with the service. The smell on all the things that we were working to get rid of is gone. We have soft water now, which is not my favorite but it’s definitely better than the alternative. I’d definitely recommend Kinetico and I've referred them to other people.

They fit me in, came in, and installed the system so I was able to leave with the system operational and on. I had a full system installed and the tech did the job well. He checked the old system out and did the best he could. He then came back and installed the Kinetico system. He had some help from somebody else.

I’m on well water and it's hard. It also has a lot of rust on it. I was almost at the point where I was cleaning the toilets every other day because the water in the toilet bowl looked used. If I was gone for a week or two, the toilets would always have a ring on it. In fact, I have one toilet that is totally stained. There’s a big difference with the Kinetico. I’m very satisfied and pleased with the system. It works as it’s supposed to and needs almost no maintenance. I had a fantastic experience.

This is our second house that we put a Kinetico system in and I can't speak enough about the company that put the system in. About 18 years ago, our very first house had a well and what you could see everyday was literally gravel. This company is not even close to us. We had one in our town but we chose that company because they came to our house and sold us the same exact thing, and the person gave us the information and the pricing and told us to call him if we wanted. On the other hand, the others barely left our house without a check.

For the second house, we didn't even call anybody else. We had the same company and this is even a different owner now but Bill did the same. He was equally as nice and informative. We knew what we needed when we moved in and when Bill came in, it was a matter of being tested and also undersold. I wanted to be able to fill the tank, do the laundry and run the dishwasher at the same time. And he was like, "How many times do you do that?" But I wanted to. It's only my husband and I and one kid. But I have a large child, a son who likes to wear many outfits per day. Bill gave me many options, including a smaller version, and we went with a medium to higher approach. He was very pleasant and he gave me all the paperwork. Also, we knew the ballpark of what we spent in the last house and the ballpark where we thought we would be almost 20 years later was still comparable.

The installer was awesome as well. He even showed me the difference and how to work the machine. He was also the one who came out on a Saturday when there was a slight valve problem. He fixed it and although he could have never known, he couldn't have been more apologetic. In that respect, Bill has been nothing but helpful as well. Aside from sending the technician out, they gave us more peroxide. This stuff is not cheap and nobody ships it. I even drive out to Charlton for that. They're 45 minutes away and although I could buy my peroxide from someone closer, I don't since we're taken care of like that. We could not be happier. The girl who works in the office where I go and get my chlorine is fabulous too. I can't say enough about the three people that I have encountered.

When we bought this house, it was 12 years old and it had a filter but I'm almost positive that it was not a Kinetico. I couldn't fill my tub without it smelling and there's nothing worse than smelling like rotten eggs. The system wasn't large enough and it didn't filter that out enough. We got a dual-chamber product, which also softens the water. That has changed the showering and there is no more sulfur smell.

Then when I wanted to get a system installed again, the appointment with Kinetico was the quickest one I could get. The guy who came out here for the free water test was very good. If he wasn’t the one who was testing the water and telling me about it, I probably would not have bought a water softener and a filtration system from them. The installation took a while but the one guy that did it was fantastic. When I had an issue, I called him back and everything was fine.

Since having the system installed, our water has been extremely good compared to what we had. Our water is a bit softer and although our skin still gets dry, it doesn't get as dry as before. The tank we had in our old water system was bigger and I thought was a lot better or more efficient. The tank we have now from Kinetico is smaller and the softener is okay, but the system is pricey. I’m not too sure, however, if I would choose just the basic unit if I had to buy another system again. In general, the company can be a bit better.

When we moved in with my dad four years ago to help take care of him, his house had hard water and I didn’t wanna drink it. I wanted something that didn’t run on electricity and has low maintenance so I decided to go with Kinetico again. The sales rep did a good job. He was very polite and thorough on testing the water and showed me what the results were. All I knew then was the water was four times hard that it starts staining things.

The system we ended up purchasing was a big unit and it's supposed to do up to 18 gallons a minute because we do irrigate. In fact, we host a car show to raise money for medical research so we have a lot of lawn to keep up throughout the summer. The person who installed the unit put in some extra valves for me that I wanted. In addition to that, we ran a bypass out back to the old pump house, and so I had access to that. And I went from thereon and buried some pipes across the driveway myself. But he did a neat installation and has done a good job. And since purchasing the system, we use less soap. Our skin also feels better and the clothes come out cleaner. More than that, the water tastes better, I can drink it straight out of the faucet. I’ve recommended Kinetico to several people.

The dealer set up our Kinetico for us and we came off a little longer, so it has just made it awesome. With our K5 Drinking Water Station, our water tastes like creek water again. The system is maintenance-free and technicians come out on a yearly inspection to check everything. And there’s nothing to do with the filter system until a light comes on. It's then that we know that we need to take a look at our filters again.
