Kinetico

We got a water softener from Kinetico Water Systems and everything was fine from our interactions with the representatives to the installation. We were having a lot of rough bathroom areas but it's much clearer now since having the unit installed.

I live in the city of Clare and I got a lot of corrosion on my fixtures, my sink, and in my toilet. I also wanted soft water in my shower and Kinetico Water Systems was the only water softener group in the Clare County area, so I got a water softener and a reverse osmosis from them. The sales representative was fabulous. He did a great job of explaining the products and everything else. And the installation team also did a good job. I took advantage of Kinetico’s free water test and the result was not at all what I was expecting.

I had a bit of lime in my water and it kept clogging up my showers. Since I used to have Kinetico, I didn't do any further research and got a full house water softener system from them. I went online and a supplier got back to me. The rep who came out was knowledgeable and a really good guy and the installers were quick. I had them put the system in a spot where it worked out best for me and it was a little harder for them to do, but they did it with no problem and no complaining. We noticed the softness of the water right away but it took a month to notice the difference. Now, all the pipes are clean and the shower is not clogging up anymore. I've recommended Kinetico to other people. I had Culligan before in a rental house of mine but Kinetico's unit is way better.

We’ve had the Kinetico system for 35 years or so in two different houses and eight years ago, we purchased a new softener system. Once we got past the significant initial cost, we were quite satisfied with the product. I've found that it uses very little salt so it's efficient.

We needed to replace the system that was in the house that we bought last year. We wanted a new one and Kinetico was referred to us by the agent who found us the house. I called the number she gave us and set-up an appointment. That was easy then our interaction with the representative was clear. He gave us the information and provided us with some brochures that will describe the product they had. It was very informative and helpful to make the decision.

The quality of my Premier S150 softener and and K-5 RO equipment is very good and it should be for the nearly $4700 initial cost. My biggest grip is that the maintenance costs are too high! In my four years of ownership I have spent nearly $1000 on filter cartridges, salt, resin cleaner and service visits to sanitize my drinking water system. I'm a do-it-yourself sort of guy and when I asked my distributor about getting a sanitizing kit so I could do it myself, I was told that they didn't know anything about it and that they recommended I have their service people do it any way. I don't mind paying for high quality equipment but I don't like having to pay so much to maintain the systems. as an example, the Duracube salt I buy from Kinetico is nearly double the cost of other brands. Is it really that much better? If I had to do it over again, I would probably explore other options.

My water was hard, had a lot of orange staining, and smelled swampy. I wanted to get that taken care of so, I had somebody from Kinetico come out to my house. I had a pretty good experience with him. He was an older gentleman named Rich and he was just in the area and he stopped in. He tested my water and spoke to me about the product. He was a nice guy but at that time, I wasn’t in the financial state to be able to purchase a water softener. After that, I still ended up buying a water softener from them. They sent a young man out by himself to install it and he explained to me how long it would take. He got it done in a timely manner and was clear on his instructions on what had to be done. I was happy with the installation.

We've had a new place and we needed something for the water system. I heard about Kinetico on the radio and saw it at a little hardware also. Going through an appointment with them for the in-home water test was fine. The rep was excellent. He knew what he was talking about and knew about the water in our area. We purchased a water softener and a whole house filter and Kinetico's installation team did a nice job, too. They explained the system and all that good stuff. I thought that their $99 for a bypass valve was a little ridiculous though, but I did it myself and no problem. Since the installation, we've had just nice water. Kinetico has been really good.

I appreciated the postcard reminding me to change filters on the softener, well pump and reverse osmosis. Once the the service person arrived, he told me how bad the filters were. I was told originally that filters should be changed every year but he said every 6 months. I wish information was consistent. I'm also confused because I didn't receive a postcard reminder for the first 2-3 years after installation (was I sent postcards yearly?). It's hard to complain about not receiving postcards when it was the recent card that reminded me to change filters but I think it's important. Otherwise, the softener works great and I have no complaints.

We are very pleased with the operation of the unit so far. It has been working great. The person who demonstrated the unit to us was very professional and knew everything about the unit that we bought. I believe this unit was the best for our needs. We would recommend this unit to our friends.

Installation was good. Drinking faucet should have a rubber gasket between the unit and the granite counter. It slips around and is very hard to reach from under sink with all the equipment there too. I'm a short guy, but that doesn't help in this area to work in. Takes 2 to fix this right and my loving Wife just doesn't get it. Would be great to see a rep once more. We have always been on City water services, first well.

New Iron Filter system got rid of the red in toilet bowl. Now the bowl's turn gray. Also, the tap & shower water is milky looking when it comes out. This is a constant problem. The water is no longer clear. I was told that this system would take the iron out. But it has created more problems.

Installing the Kinetico Water System was done in a very professional manner. It’s located in the basement and it has two tanks. It’s been a year since we had the system and we don’t have limescale on our sinks and faucets anymore. I haven’t needed to contact Kinetico for anything except for buying filters and replacing the filters was fine as they gave me good instructions. So far, the experience has been good and I would recommend them.

Kinetico Water Systems has been great, and I love them. I got a water softener for the whole house system. We live up north where we have well water and it is hard. And so we wanted to get a water softener, and I heard that Kinetico was a great company and so I just wanted to go. I had interviewed some other people, but I really liked them and I felt they were very knowledgeable, they knew what they were doing, and I felt that we were gonna put in the water system that was correct for my house. The sales appointment was great too. The guy was really nice and very informative and he arrived on time. He was excellent. He gave us a lot of information, too. We availed of the free water test as well.

Love it and would never purchase any other brand. Beats Culligan and Wolverine by miles. Have had both and this is by far the best. Really like the fact that if I'm gone it doesn't re-generate every couple days. Employees were great and knew their business too. They even cleaned up after they finished. Wonderful company.

Our water is supposed to soft and help remove other problems, yet my hair and skin are dry, I still get staining in my sinks etc. My previous system worked better than this one. I have had a service person out several times and parts replaced, I have also spent hundreds of dollars on private water test and the results are worse than before this system was installed. A friend recommended this system, worst $4000 we have ever spent. Do not buy this system!

After adding a full kitchen in our lower level we needed to connect the pressure tank for the ice maker and special sink faucet for the R/O. Just like the first install, but with different technicians, professional, courteous service and very knowledgeable. The water product is fabulous and makes this house a real treat to live in.

I previously worked for a Kinetico dealership and our customer service was so much better. In addition, timing for responding to problems was above and beyond yours. No followup from your people after our initial installation and all of the problems we had. Problems were due to well issues but there was no contact from your company to make sure everything was working as it should. As much as we like Kinetico not sure we would be willing to recommend you.

If you wash your car with the water here, it’s milky and leaves a residue on the car if you don’t dry it off. It’s horrible that way and it shouldn’t be. Kinetico has a good reputation and I got our water softener from them. However, it has not worked in a year and a half. IIt has not used any salt. They have been out here and they keep telling me that it works. But it doesn’t, so I’m pretty upset with it.

We saw Kinetico at a home show in Mount Pleasant. My brother-in-law has Kinetico system in Anchorage, Alaska as well. We’ve got extremely hard water. They had never seen water as hard as what ours is. And we also had issues with the softener that we had because it was the single tank so we had times when we were getting hard water while it was recharging. We had a very good experience setting an appointment with Kinetico. Everything went very well. We purchased a two-tank softener and a reverse osmosis system from them. And so we like the fact we were able to get it to where we always were going to be getting soft water even though that was recharging.

We had a Kinetico downstate in Brighton for a lot of years and we loved it. Also, my brother-in-law ended up selling Kinetico products. We went online and found a Kinetico dealer in Traverse City and got in contact with them. The salesman came out to show us what there was, but it was so confusing and he couldn't give me any brochures on it. And even on their website, we were not really sure what we were looking at. There were no prices on it at all. But we ended up buying it because we really had a lot of luck with it when we had downstate.

I needed a water softener at my house so I had gotten a hold of a water softener company out of Clare, Michigan that had good reviews. They happened to sell Kinetico products. A guy came out and showed me the products there that were available. He did the water tests and brought all the flyers and showed me the different types of water softeners that they had. I just wanted something good so I went by his recommendations and we worked on the price and it worked out well. The company came out, put the system in and left all the paperwork. If I had any questions, I can give them a call, but everything has been running smoothly. It's about as low maintenance as you can get as far as water softeners. Now, the shower water feels softer.

I wanted soft and safe water and I had Kinetico going back in quite a few houses. I also bought their water softener and reverse osmosis systems for my house in Michigan. I really like the way their company works. They seems to be on demand and highly efficient. The service and installation have always been great as well. Because of the reverse osmosis, the water that's coming through is pure and clean and I could see it in the ice cubes. As for the water softener, it makes showering, bathing, and using detergents so much better. And I choose to believe that also doesn't hurt the appliances as much.

This is the second water softener unit I have purchased from Kinetico. I had purchased one at my previous property. Just love the none electric unit and uses so much less salt than my old electric unit. Also purchased a dechlorinator. The installer was very knowledgeable, organized, and on time. I can't say enough and will continue in the future to buy Kinetico.

I was retired and moving up to my cottage up north. We had a softener that took care of the softness of the water but it didn’t take care of tannins. My wife couldn’t do laundry in the house and going to the laundromat was a pain. I did a lot of research on people with water with the same issues I got and everybody seemed to be happy with Kinetico’s resolution of that.

Up North Lake House has very hard water so we searched for a water softener or filtration system to be able to use water from the faucet. Kinetico Water Systems was recommended by a neighbor. Setting up an appointment went really well. The installers were out on time and it was clear what our options were. I liked working with the person who did the install. There has been a difference since purchasing the Kinetico Water filter and I would recommend it for sure.

We moved from Illinois and the water there was terrible, very hard and lots of iron. We went through a number of different water softeners and they didn’t provide much service. And then we finally had gotten to Kinetico and they are the only brand I’m gonna ever have. It’s built like an industrial machine as far as the function. The first time I dealt with their rep, it was a little odd because the guy was mainly interested in leasing the system to me. But I didn’t wanna lease it as I wanted to buy it. That caused some minor issues at first, but once we got that worked out, it was great.

We were very unhappy with the taste and feel of our water. Many neighbors here in Bridgetown recommended Kinetico, and we couldn't be happier with our purchase. Dennis ** came out and explained the system in great detail and made us aware of the upcoming specials. Installation was completed within the week, and our water is excellent for drinking and bathing. I feel healthier and my skin is much softer!

I work at Home Depot and had Kinetico come out and do a free water test at the store, then decided I needed their system. My interactions with their sales reps were all positive and the installation team did a great job. I got the two black tubes with a filter on it and was shown how it worked. Now, we don't have the staining in our toilets or the browning that they used to have.

The sales representative was fine and the installation team was very good. But even with Kinetico, our water still stains some of my stuff and my toilet. It didn’t totally 100% take care of that. But I like having the reverse osmosis so I'm making sure I’m getting good water to drink. But I can tell the difference with the water system. If you just had a softener, you'd get a little bit of that salt taste and I don’t like that. The reverse osmosis helps to defeat that. People also recommend the reverse osmosis.

I had a water heater that was full of sediments and staining so, I got a new water heater and a new softening system. I went with a Kinetico water softener and an RO system after searching for water softeners near me on Google and finding Kinetico to be a better system. The installers did an excellent job and they explained how to use the system. And they left the work area clean. Since putting in the Kinetico, we're not having the hard water as much and we get better drinking water too.

We have well water in the cottage. We're there a few months of the year and we wanted to make sure we have soft water. Our neighbors used and recommended Kinetico Water Systems so we called them. Their representative came and visited us, gave us the demonstration and walked us through the system. The installation was easy and it went well. Afterwards, we noticed right away that the water has been really good.

I have an RO unit and a softener unit from Kinetico. Their products do not need power and use less salt which was why I purchased from them. We had very hard and high particulate water. Now it's like night and day. I also had a thermostat failure this past winter and everything froze. So, I had to have the entire system replaced. I also had a good experience with the sales reps but after installation, the system seemed to be running through a lot of salts. I had to have Owens Soft Water come back out and tune the system. Kinetico products are expensive too but they're worth the money.

We were concerned with the smell of our water so my wife researched about water softeners. We’ve had experience with other companies in a different house before but we chose to go with Kinetico. We liked their presentation and the examples that showed how they could do what we needed to have done. Then the sales gentleman came out and tested our water and the result showed that we had hard water and had sulfur in it. We purchased the Kinetico product that removes the sulfur and iron, the water softener, and an RO system. For maintenance for our system, we need to add salt, a solution they have to put in for the tannic acid and filters on the RO unit periodically. Although there were some hiccups during the installation, the sales rep was pleasant and very informative. We were pleased with what he has done for us. Overall, Kinetico is the way to go.

We purchased a property and inherited some water softening equipment. Right from my first call, the staff was great - friendly and helpful. Scheduling was easy and the guys were on time and ready to go. Work was completed quickly, quietly, on schedule and on budget. They followed up as promised with the warranty transfer paperwork, and everything has been working wonderfully since. Couldn't be happier!

I bought a brine tank and two big filters from Kinetico Water Systems. I heard about them from somebody else. They said that they had it and that they liked it. However, I am unhappy with it. They said it would get rid of all the discoloration to my water. None of it ever worked. Also, the place I got it from was not very helpful. They said that I might need something else now like an iron filter but it never worked properly from day one. I spent like $5,000 on this and it’s a piece of garbage. I might as well take it to the landfill. I would never recommend them to anybody.

I was looking online for a water softener that's soft powered with no electricity backwashing required and Kinetico was the only game in town. I made a call and the representative came out. He tested my water and checked the pH, the iron content and all the minerals in it. The water had an odor but the system might take that away. I just put the system in when I moved in here but it was too tall 'cause I wanted it in my crawlspace so I had to go with the double eventually 'cause I didn't want them to cut into the ground again. I kinda like the double one anyways and I'm happy with Kinetico.

I built a new home and it’s out in the country. I knew I was gonna have hard water and I didn’t want hard water. Owens Soft Water was the Kinetico dealer I used at my previous home so I called them and setting up the appointment was very good. My sales rep, Dan, was a very nice fellow. I was satisfied with the way things were with Kinetico, and I didn’t feel I needed to explore anything new. I got the water softener and everything’s going well. Of all the things that I had to have done, that was the easiest to accomplish.

I was looking for a softener a few years ago and went online and saw what was available in the area. I got a Kinetico water softener for the whole house and then a year later, got a reverse osmosis. There was just one guy who did the installation. He came in, did what he was supposed to do and that was it. He knew what he was doing and I thought it was good. I'd recommend Kinetico.

The old water softener I had was a Sears but it was 20 years old and I had an issue with the plastic spigot on it. It was just a pain in the neck after a while. I had replaced it twice but there were some issues with it. They don't make that unit anymore and I can see why. Anytime you use a Reverse Osmosis system, I would definitely not go with any kind of plastic spigot. I'd go with the stainless steel. The Reverse Osmosis cleans out a lot of stuff and you gotta make sure that they don't wear and tear on your system.

The people were professional and the system seems good. The taste of our water was fine but I wanted to remove fluoride and other chemicals. This system is supposed to do that and Martin’s is a business that I trust.

I purchased a water softener from Kinetico Water Systems and it's my second one. I already knew what's gonna happen yet everything has been all good – from setting up an appointment, testing the water and installing the system to the representatives and the quality of our water.

I was the contractor on the remodel of my mother-in-law's home. I made up my mind that I needed a local individual that was gonna be able to not only install the water softeners and filtration system unit but service it if it was needed. I am familiar with Kinetico and purchased a water softener system and the iron filter from them. The people that I did business with were fabulous and the installer was great. They hauled the old unit away and did a really nice job. Everybody was very professional. They did what they were supposed to do and that was what I expected. With Kinetico, the water is 100% better.

My water softener had a bad smell. I called them. They were there that day to take care of my problem. I’ve been with them many years. Had great experience working with them. I would recommend them to anyone. Robertt is the gentleman that we dealt with. Very thorough. Does a great job.

We've always been very pleased with Kinetico and we've used them in several houses. We bought one product for a condo at Notre Dame, Indiana, then we had one at Platte Lake and Honor, Michigan, and we had another one in Traverse City. And they were in all sizes, from smaller to large. The house we were buying had a water softener and filtration system and we didn't know about them, so that was when we learned about them. We went with Kinetico for their dependability and their regeneration. They're excellent all around, they're dependable, and they come back and check up in a year's time. Plus, they'd be willing to give an extra bag of salt when I get them. Their installation team was dependable as well. Our water is softer now and we like the fact that it automatically regenerates itself. And, we also talk up Kinetico to other people.

The water out at our lake place was really bad. It had a water softener in there when we bought it but I wasn't seeing any sign that anything was happening there. We ran into Kinetico at the Cottage Show in Traverse City and set an appointment. They came out a couple of weeks ago to change the filter and they were good. I wanted to have them show me how to do the stuff so I could do it myself and they went over everything with me, and it was great. We had purchased the whole water system of Cannon and I am so glad we had it put in. The water is perfect now. Anyone who comes to our cabin certainly can tell the difference. If we run into anybody that is having water problems, we always tell them that it was Kinetico that we got.

I am very satisfied with my Kinetico service today. The technician was very polite and professional as well as knowledgeable about what needed to be done. The work was done efficiently and the explanations to me were more than adequate. I would definitely recommend this company and this technical to others.

I found the experience excellent from the initial consultation to the installation. The result was water that smelled and felt much better. I would recommend the Kinetico system to everyone. The system does not depend on electricity so it will work all the time. There are two tanks so when it backwashes you are not without soft water.

Our water looks as bad as it did before your system was installed. The first install was installed wrong, so after a week or so they came back and installed it correct. Then every time it recharged itself we air in the lines so bad we had to turn faucet on for about 30 to 50 seconds to get air out. After 7 or 8 visits to fix the problem it's still not fixed, I called again Thurs the 26th and told them it's still not fixed. They said they would look into it and haven't heard back yet, today is the 2nd of May.

We have hard water. Kinetico came and explained their products and when we decided to get something, I called them and some other companies. We went with them because they specialize in such things. We then got their water softener. They also offered us their water filtration system and we thought it would be good so we decided to get it as well. With Kinetico's system, water tastes better. Then, before, when I would wash my dishes, I could see that there was so many stuff on our glasses and now we don't have that. You could completely tell the difference. I'm super happy with Kinetico and I would recommend them.

After 26 years with our original Kinetico Water Softener with no problems at all, we purchased a new one - a model 2060/k5. Clint ** sold and installed the unit and he did an excellent job. Very thorough, knowledgeable, tidy, prompt and explained everything very clearly. We greatly appreciated his expertise.

These guys are great. I had trouble with my water softener as the unit filled up during a recycle event and did not shut off. It overflowed and caused problems. The technician that came was well versed on the unit. When parts were not readily available, he was able to switch out the unit and get me back to soft water. Made my wife happy!

Purchased my water softener from Martin’s Water Conditioning located in Myerstown, PA. I also had it installed by them. I was satisfied with their work, and they were very knowledgeable, answering all my questions to my satisfaction. The work was done professionally, and they removed all the debris. Afterwards they explained to me how the softener works and the recommended maintenance. I will recommend them to friends.

I had well water and it was very hard. I put out calls to other companies but they never called back and Kinetico did. John, Kinetico's sales rep, was excellent. He was very professional and nice. It was one person who installed the system and it went very well. He was very professional as well and he explained the whole system to me. Now, the water is definitely not hard. It doesn't take as much shampoo to take a bath. Plus, the water definitely tastes and smells better. I would recommend this company.

A long time ago, I bought a water softener system from Kinetico Water Systems to be able to filter out some of the chemicals from the treatment plant. I wanted to go with a good brand and I heard about them on the radio, plus they seemed to have a good reputation. Their salesman was very good and thorough. I went back to him for the second thing I purchased, which was the filtration system underneath the sink. The installation went fine. Moreover, they were good and courteous. My water is softer, clearer, cleaner, fresher and as far as the taste, it is definitely better. It does not have a chemical taste. I've been satisfied with Kinetico Water Systems.

We had another treatment system that we did not like as it was not doing its job. We had seen Kinetico at the county fairs and talked to them at different places where they were at the time. I have the whole house water system because I was concerned with our water and its smell. The sales rep explained everything and the installer was very good, too. They put different kinds of filters and salt on it. They were able to fix our water problem, and the water is now great. I'm well satisfied.

I had hard water before and it wasn't clean. It doesn't rinse out as well and creates hard water stains on both the bathtub, walls and inside sinks. During my investigations on a lot of companies, I found that Kinetico was a better brand more into helping the consumer and not just wanting to sell the product. Setting up the appointments and installing the water softener system were great experiences. When I’m taking a bath for that matter, the water doesn’t seem like a soap when you rinse out but it actually feels like it’s gone and not still staying on my skin. Same thing with my shampoo. And there’s no more hard water stain on my glass. You need to invest in this. It’s the best system I’ve ever had. It keeps not only myself clean, but all my household products. It keeps my dishwasher and washing machine all in operating condition. It doesn’t build up hard water inside of them.

I had hard water and needed a softener. I have a very small closet and I can’t get a conventional water softener, so they had a softener that was very small and about the size of a computer face. The salesman came out and pretty much fed us the biggest line of BS that I’ve ever heard in my life. Everything he told us was a lie. We ordered a water softener and a drinking water system from Kinetico. I’ve had Kinetico out about three times after the salesman had sold it to us and because what he told us wasn’t true, we got stuck with it. We have a lifetime warranty on the softener but they charged us for coming out and fixing warranty items. The softener went out after about six years and the guy told us that these things only last five years. I told him that we have a lifetime warranty and he said that it’s only for the salt storage part of it.

Setting up with Kinetico was easy. I called in and they came out and assessed my house. The reps were very friendly. I got the highest end water softener and a water filtration under counter, and the installation was good. They had to get creative with some spacing issues that I had in my house, but they did a good job. I don't like hard water, but now it seems like the water is softer and more steady. However, I wondered if the system was working right, and there was no follow up from them to check on the system. That would've been helpful, especially 'cause it was pretty big. Overall it's a great product and I've recommended it to some people.

Kinetico did a fantastic job and came when they said they would. Two great men came and they were wonderful. It was the best experience I've had with someone who does water systems in a long time. I recommend them.

Kinetico's rep was very thorough. I learned a lot and was convinced that I wanted their product right away. I took a day off on the day of installation and waited about half an hour after I was told their installation crew would probably come. They had somehow gotten the day wrong. It was 9:00 in the morning when I called and they arrived by 11:30. The owner came out because he needed to pull the trailer as they were digging a French drain for me, so I got to meet him. He also brought me a year’s worth of salt at no charge and it worked out really well. They made a mistake but dealt with it and I had a great day. We have had their system for a month and a half now and it's great. My hair is softer and I can feel the dishes are cleaner.

We have had Kinetico water system for 4 1/2 Years. It has been the best purchase we have made for our home! Every Kinetico employee has been nice and very helpful. I would highly recommend Kinetico. I no longer drink bottled water, because the water taste much better with our new system.

Working with Kinetico was easy and enjoyable. The work was done quickly and professionally. The water tastes great and the entire family enjoys the service. We purchased a full house system so are now benefiting from better water in all our uses. Additionally, we don't have to worry about portable filters. Thanks for a great product!

When we first moved to our current location, the water was so hard. Kinetico Water Systems was referred to us by a friend. My interactions with their representatives were fantastic. We got the whole house filter and under the sink from them. We got the fresh water for the sink and into the refrigerator. When we first had the water system installed, the first guy didn't do it well. So, we called and somebody else came over to fix it which was awesome. Since getting the system, it has been great and I've been loving the water out of the fridge. After having that, I can't use bottled water.

We live in El Paso and it’s a hard water area. There’s a bit of chlorine odor in the local water as well. We were also concerned with drinking water as well as for the appliances in the house and showering. I did some research for softening systems online and started looking at Pelican and others, then came across the Kinetico one. I liked what I read about it and the fact that it doesn’t require plug-in power to operate. It had a lot of good history behind reviews other people put on it. It sounded like a pretty bulletproof system and it sounded good. I called Kinetico Water Systems and they came over. I enjoyed the sales pitch. They spoke really good and it was a good product to me, so it worked out. I purchased a four-tank system with two doubles. It’s a softener and a chlorine filtration as well that can also be on the softener.

I got a softener from Kinetico Water Systems. I liked that at the time, they were offering financing through Home Depot. Everything was good. I knew I would need a softener for the type of water that's in this area. It was kind of a brownish ugly water when we started and now, it's crystal clear.

We are very happy with the service provided by Kinetico. Very complimentary, sincere & efficient! He checked the water in the kitchen and found it was hard water. Also checked the filtered water and that was very good. Then he went to the basement to check the water softener. He changed the ring to soften the water more often. Thank you. We appreciate the service provided.

We had moved in to our house a couple of years ago and our water was really hard. I needed to do something. We were in the midst of researching and pricing everything in the city, and choosing Kinetico came down to price. We had a window that we were trying to stick to and there were a couple of other options that sell within that window, but Kinetico's warranty was better than the other folks. Everything was very smooth setting up the appointment. The guy that came out for the water test was pretty chill. We'd had multiple people come out and do the exact same thing that he did when we were pricing the systems. I explained that to him and he was like, "We'll just go through a little bit." And it was good. The installer was hilarious and I really liked him. We were chatting the entire time and he was cool. Now the difference in our water is night and day. Everything has been wonderful and so much better. It's exactly what we were hoping for.

Our place had hard water for a while. My sink and appliances didn't last and we went through shower heads very quickly because they got clogged. When I went to a networking event, I met one of Kinetico's salesmen. His name was Alfredo and we love him. He was real knowledgeable and answered our questions and there was no pressure. We ended up getting a water softener and a reverse osmosis drinking system. Then someone came in and installed it within a couple of hours. We had our system installed in June of last year. And we've had to have them come out and repair it about four times already. We've had a lot of problems with it not working. They had to fix several things on it and that's been a little bit of a disappointment because I bought a new shower head and now it's broken. So, it's not been fixed when I thought it would be.

We had one of the old systems for roughly 15 to 18 years which used bleach in the system. Worked very well and keep in the order and the black slime from being toilets. With this 2 years old new system utilizing hydrant peroxide which is more expensive allows the black film in the toilets to build up. Outside of that seems to be working very well.

I had a salesperson come out when I was upgrading my very old water system and had an excellent interaction. I was listened to when I talked about what I wanted and was offered solutions with some of the equipment I had in the house. Kinetico came back and installed everything and all went very well. The difference in the water since then was like night and day.

We live in a bad area for water, the worst in the state. I bought two Kinetico water softeners -- one for my daughter's house and one for my son's pad. I got one of the biggest offers for my son's place because his water was so bad that his wife was having an allergic reaction. The salesman was cool but I spent more time with the installer, who was very helpful. He's a country guy and he was really nice. He explained everything to me and told me what I needed. I didn't like the way the old installer set up was, but I like the new installer setup now. It's a little more expensive than some of the other softeners, but the new super filter system will really make a big difference. All in all, it was a good experience.

37 years ago, when we first moved into our house, we got a water softener and drinking water system from Kinetico. We wore that system out and I had somebody come out and service it. We took a water test and the service guy opened up our two big tanks. He found that it was a horrendous mess and our system was past due to be changed. He showed me everything that was going on and explained to me that my main cleaning tank was all gone. He told me that I had to replace them and I couldn't opt for a repair.

We had a Kinetico system before at a different house, and when we moved into another place, we bought the K5 system. The person that came out to look at what I needed was really good. He took care of the installation for us and did a really nice job. I was happy. Kinetico does a really nice job and I like the no electricity concept to it. I also really enjoyed the dual tank so we never run out of soft water.

We live in New Mexico and people really don’t understand how bad the water is here. When I moved here in '85, the local people would joke and say, "Drink the water, it makes your teeth hard." The water is rough and people don’t like to drink the water as it is tough to drink. Now, Kinetico Water Systems is the most prominent in Las Cruces and I've known of them for 30 some years. I know their sales rep Alfredo through networking and we've talked. His demonstration was a 10 and he convinced me. He is fantastic and he needs to be filmed with that demonstration. He went over it so well and I talked about chlorine, the water hardness, and the cleanliness of the water. He showed examples and why all of our fixtures were crusting over with whatever hardness that it was. There's so much difference and he did a very thorough job.

I wanted higher quality water and did my research. Here in Indiana, Kinetico seemed to be the highlight of the rankings and when I put a new house in, that’s the system I put in. In this new home I’ve had them for about 12 years now. I have both their RO system and their regular water system. Every couple of years, I have them come in to check my system, look at my filters and change them out if necessary. But the RO system is something that I can maintain myself on a yearly basis. I get very good service from Kinetico and they’re conveniently located for me if I need to go into their stores. This company met my expectations.

I was at a point where I needed to replace my water softener. I liked the idea of the regeneration based on water usage rather than a pre-programmed timer. So, I purchased a water softener and filtration system from Kinetico. Since then, I’ve never had a problem with running out of soft water. There have been a couple of occasions that I had to call them about problems and they were very prompt in taking care of the situation.

We had well water that was terrible. I had three different people out to the house, telling me what they could offer. Kinetico had the only thing that they offered that would actually do what I needed to be done. They also gave me a demonstration and we went from there. They tested the water for free and did it at the house, and they also sent some stuff off and had to come back. The analysis was about the same, that the water was bad. I then purchased the one that pumped water from the well into the tank and purified and cleaned everything and then brought it back out. It is for a 6,000 square foot house.

We've had a Kinetico since '08 when we built our home and we're happy with them. Moving parts break and Kinetico has no moving parts. Although the system is just 10 years old, we live in a high lime area so we replaced it. We set up an appointment with one quick call. The representative did water sampling and he tested the water. The system that we have was explained as well as the improvements in the new system, the cost, the terms and the installation. They were very professional. The installation team asked specifically how we wanted the pipes laid out on the wall and they did it exactly as requested. Since purchasing the entire new treatment system with the canisters in the garage, our water has been a little bit cleaner. Our experience was perfect.

I had a Kinetico water softener for about 15 years at a different location. We sold our house and we moved into an apartment for six months. Now, we're in a new home. During the six months that we were in the apartment, we did not have soft water and my wife was going crazy. We switched back a couple of weeks ago and had our new unit installed, and it's a world of difference. I paid $98 for Bill (The owner) to come out and give me an estimate to reinstall my unit after a kitchen remodel. After he left I looked down at my paperwork and there were no numbers or any of the things we discussed in writing. THE 98 DOLLARS IS FOR NOTHING. They come to your house to tell you how much it will cost to reinstall your unit. My unit will cost $450. All my basic plumbing is there. I bought this system 10 years ago. I have called and let them know I want an email for a written quote. I am not sure why I would pay $98 for a piece of yellow paper that vaguely says change unit. I want to know the cost and the details of everything and in writing.

We had hard water and Kinetico was recommended to us by someone we had contracted to do some work on our house. The reps were very knowledgeable and good at what they did. We told them that we wanted the system to get everything out of the water and they gave us that. We got a whole house filtration system plus the sink system at the kitchen, and the installation went perfect. The installers kept us updated as to what time they would be here and they were here when they said they were gonna be here. My water is a lot softer now and it doesn't leave lots of orange gunk all over everything or turn my hair green anymore. And with that, I would recommend Kinetico.

I originally had Kinetico in my old house and when I bought this house, I bought a Kinetico system off of Craigslist from their former employee. I had it for four years and I had nothing but trouble with that. Kinetico came out and did some other work to it and I was never happy with it. I didn’t get super service. Otherwise, I’d still be with them. I now have a Culligan water softener.

I bought a house and nothing worked and the water smelled like sulfur. I had to have help with my water softener. I spent $3,000 there. Jonathan was the fellow who helped me. He came and tested my water, came back, got rid of some old stuff that I had. They did a good job and they were very accommodating and prompt. They came when they said they would. They did quick work and didn't make a mess. They were very courteous. They put on covers on their shoes when they came in the house. They made it work and that was it. It was very straightforward. They came back and checked the water after it was in and made sure I knew how to put the filters in. It was a very positive and wonderful experience. Somebody's done some good training. I felt like I trusted them and I would use them again.

We were looking into water filtration systems because of the amount of minerals in the water here. At a home show, we heard about Kinetico and it seemed to be more advanced so went with them. Their rep was very informative. He tested the water and it showed the level of minerals in the water. I bought the Kinetico water systems for the whole house and for drinking, and the installation was very easy and quick. The installer was friendly and he seemed very knowledgeable. The systems are working well and we feel the difference. The water doesn't seem as harsh, our clothes come cleaner, and the dishwasher seems to be working better too.

When we moved from Canal Winchester, we were in Fairfield Farms and we had a well and septic tank there. We had a problem there with iron, so we got a machine that took the iron out. But we left it when we sold it and moved here. There's a calcium problem here, so we got the water filtration system for the whole house from Kinetico Water Systems. We have a nozzle on the sink in the kitchen and we get drinking water from that. We had a water filtration system at the other house as well, but that was city water and we had hot water over there.

I’ve got a softener and the drinking water system from Kinetico. I've been using Kinetico for a long time and I've always been happy. Setting up an appointment with them was very easy. I've always had good luck. Their sales person was very professional and very knowledgeable. I ended up buying one unit and changing unit about two years into it. The one I have is the one that removes the chlorine from the water but I was curious why the guy didn't try to sell me the one with the better system first.

The area that we live in has really hard water and quite high chemical content, within health guidelines. But as far as we were concerned, from a county perspective, those aren't good enough for us. We've lived in our area now for almost four years and when we moved houses we decided we wanted to invest because we noticed that dishes were not getting cleaned because of the water quality. Our skin was dry on a regular basis and drinking water did not taste good. Although their cost was double what other companies were charging, we got their water softener and water osmosis system. The quality is good and we have been with them for four years now.

I bought Kinetico's RO system by name recognition and I like the compactness of the system inside the house instead of having the filters exposed. But there were some glitches during the installation. Nobody checked to see that the line was hooked up to the refrigerator before they pressurized it so I had a cleanup. The installer broke or cracked the line that comes from the dishwasher to the disposal while he was trying to put things in there. I didn’t find out about that until I used the dishwasher a couple of days later with a leak all over the bottom of the brand new cabinets down there. I don’t think he knew that he busted it. I just went ahead and took care of it myself. Once I took out the air out of the system, it started working better than it did the first couple of days. I wasn’t quite sure if the water hammer that we experienced was going to be a permanent feature or not. That seemed to settle itself down after they pulled the air out.

I have really hard water and so I bought a Kinetico water softener. They had a lot of reputation, plus a family member had told me about them. Their rep took the water sample and did a good job of explaining the options. Moreover, the installer was fine and professional. He was in and out in about an hour. Now the water doesn't have the chlorine smell or taste. Overall, it was good a good experience. I would recommend Kinetico.

Everything’s great with Kinetico and I love it. I heard about it from a salesman named Alfredo from El Paso from a Home & Garden Show in El Paso. I’ve always liked the idea of water softening and then he just explained in depth pretty much the benefits of it. I liked everything about what it’s able to do. It seemed like we had a lot of chlorine in the water higher than what the gentleman had seen. He just explained that we’re probably closer to one of those water towers.

My daughter felt that my water wasn’t healthy. She has a reverse osmosis and she wanted me to get it, too. I was visiting a friend in a senior living establishment and there were different groups of people sitting at different tables from different organizations. Kinetico was one of them and I talked to them. I received the card of the person and then I called and made an appointment later. The sales rep was good and everything went well with the installation. They put the reverse osmosis system under my kitchen sink. I had hoped it could go into my refrigerator but they said the refrigerator was too far. I've had the system for about five years now. The water tastes good and I use it for cooking or drinking. Kinetico comes about once a year and put new filter in it but they want to come too early to put the filter in and I could wait another several months.

It has been five months since we had our Kinetico Water Station installed, and the difference in the taste of the water (and things like coffee) is amazing. We bought a brand new house. Our old house had terrible water stains because our hard water is very high. And we just wanted to do a pure water and water softener. So, I did research, found Kinetico online, and called them and made the appointment. And they came out and did their thing. We bought the whole-house water softener and the reverse osmosis from them. The reps were all very nice and very knowledgeable. I had questions as far as what my water quality actually was. And the rep tested that for us and showed us where we are as far as on the scale, what's considered really good and what's considered really bad.

My son's office has Kinetico. And he also put it in his home. He's a physician. And he said, "Mom, it's a good thing." I had been ill, and I don't want to look for more trouble. Everybody says our drinking water is fine but I wanted Kinetico as a precaution. I got the faucet from Kinetico. I wanted the faucet so that the water would go into my instant hot and into my icemaker. And we drink from that water. And I rinse my vegetables and cook with that water.

We had our first scheduled service today, 6 months after installation of a new water softener and water purification system. Everything went well, and the techs were great. They were very courteous and explained everything they were doing, as they were doing it. I would recommend a Kinetico system in a heartbeat!

I moved into the house with a large water softener and there was nobody in the home but my wife and I. And I didn't think we need a big one so we got a smaller one from Kinetico. I told Kinetico I needed a water softener and I was sold on this product. And one thing was he took the old one out and that was a great thing for me to have it removed. And the one that we have now is sufficient for the two of us and it's very adequate. It's also easier for me to put salt in it because it’s not as high as our larger one. The only problem I had just recently was I needed salt and I could buy salt from the company but I needed someone to take it down the basement. So, I went and purchased it myself, opened it, pulled it out in the garage and got my grandson to carry the salt down the basement.

We had a Kinetico water softener when I was growing up. I also used to work at Kinetico. We had an RO but a very old one, so we updated to the K5. And the experience was great. I live down the road from their retail store. I walked in the retail store, talked to a salesman for a little bit, they set up the appointment right then and called me with a reminder. The rep was very professional and answered all my questions. The installer came in, left it cleaner than it was before he got here, in and out, and suggested a change in plumbing for us. There's very hard water here in the area. Also, it’s a new house that we’re dealing with and the refrigerator that we got for the new house didn't have a drinking water circuit on it. And so, we decided we'd get one for the sink. Kinetico was one of those that had the best option on Consumer Reports. And then, when we brought the rep out, it went great. We had some issues with where things are located in the house, and they did a really great job taking care of that with as little impact as possible. We did a reverse osmosis, softener and also a drinking station under our circuit. The water's completely different now. The hard water’s gone and everything's working really well.

My mother had Kinetico installed years ago at their home. We were also at a home show and we liked that Kinetico recycled as what was needed rather than at a certain time every night. That was of interest to me as we have various people here or not here. So, that was what worked for us. We purchased the water softener and the drinking station from them. Every faucet, water handles and sinks were encrusted with mineral deposits, and the water just tasted funny. I was over at Home Depot and one of the gentlemen that was connected with Kinetico was there offering free water tests. I was referred by my mom to get a water softener from Kinetico and I know that she’s got really soft water, so I chose them. It was very easy to call their team and ask any questions.
