Kenmore washers are good at getting most pretreated stains, such as dog paw dirt and organic stuff. Kenmore dryers are superior and get my clothes dry in half the time of my old Maytag! I even had a Filter Queen that I loved but Kenmore beats that all to pieces. Kenmore always has been reliable and I imagine they will remain that way.

Bought an apartment washer and dryer and ever since day one it did not perform well. Timer went out, a main washer engine part went bad and had to be replaced. Very poor service provided by Sears. Every six months the washer or dryer would have issues. Cost more to repair in the years than buying a new one.

I purchased a Kenmore washing machine almost 2 years ago… I’ve had at least four service calls on it and has a clicking sound all hours of the day and night. They have been out to my house numerous times. They’ve replaced everything they say electronically the problem has gone away for about six months. Now it started again… I don’t even want to bother with them anymore so I just prop up the lid door so I don’t hear the sound in the middle of the night. Other than that it cleans fantastically. Was so much less soap and so much less water, Kenmore model number 110.25132411!

Pant legs, sleeves, etc get tangled up in knots when spinning. Help! What have other done about this piece of garbage???

I have leveled my fairly new Kenmore 600S top load washer so many times. I can’t stand it anymore. I have never had a washing machine that couldn’t stay on balance like this one. It can’t possibly be the sheets, can it? Every load that has sheets, no matter how many, it cannot spin without bouncing all over the place. Forget about pillows, light blankets and towels. Maybe this is a problem for all HE top loaders but it never ever happened with my front loader or agitator. All of which were Kenmore.

This is my first experience with the front loading washing machine and dryer, but it's definitely not looking good for them. I just brought my girlfriend's washer and dryer home from her kids place and the washing machine needed to be looked at. After going through everything it ended up being the piece on the back of the drum (The spider gear) That attaches it to the bearing had completely rotted off. The piece is made of a cast iron material attached to the chrome drum. I just wish I could post some pics here of the condition of this piece, it was brought home to replace the old stuff I have. Anyway that is my warning/rant. I would not recommend the Kenmore AST 2 to anyone.

I bought this machine brand new from Sears Outlet in Tinley Park, IL. I'm reading reviews now and wish I'd found these reviews prior to purchasing. My machine was purchased in August 2018. I'm the only one washing anything so it hasn't been used excessively. I had a repair tech out here in November because it started leaking some kind of clear oily liquid. The tech came, looked at it and said the leak was an excess of "normal lubrication" done at the factory. He cleaned everything off, dumped the excess lube and told me if I see any more leakage to call again. He also told me to put a paper towel underneath to see if it was continuing to leak.
Well here it is less than 1 month later (December) and now on the paper towel, I see black drops of oil in addition to more clear oily liquid. And, yes like other reviewers mentioned, it's not rinsing well. I noticed white residue on a couple pairs of black pants and a few dark colored shirts prior to the first time the tech came, but I dismissed it as something I was doing, or not doing. Fast forward to now, I'd washed some brand new dark-colored sheets and pillowcases and there is white residue on all of them! That's what prompted me to research a little and now finding these reviews, I wish I'd researched prior to purchasing it. The not rinsing well seems to be a common issue. So this, on top of leaking oil/lube I'm not pleased. I want my money back Sears! This is horrible. Is this what I'm going to have to deal with for the remainder time I have this machine? Shame on you. Signed, an unhappy consumer.

We bought a Kenmore 600 series early in 2018 after selling our home and leaving the wonderful 22 year old Maytag washing machine behind. What a mistake. This new Sears product is the epitome of young people not thinking through what they are trying to accomplish. To be more specific, these HE machines are designed to save water. But they do not clean clothes because the water level is too low. How is that an improvement? And what if you bump the 'power' button by mistake... Out goes the water. How ridiculous.
Often our clothes are left with detergent residue from not getting dissolved and we have to wash them again. We've used more water. What I have found useful when washing clothes is to pause the machine and add a few gallons of water, let it spin a few minutes to get the soap to disperse with the added water, then pause the machine again and literally unplug the machine and allow the clothes to soak an hour or so dependent on the degree of stains. If I could bring back my old Maytag I would but that deal is done. Engineers, and I use that word lightly, have screwed the pooch.

The hubless model ties anything long (pants, shorts, sheets) into knots. Bought it for the price and water efficiency, but regret the hubless. De-wrinkling the tangled mess is a must by dryer or line dry plus iron.

We bought a 700 series washer in September 2017. We've had the tech out twice because it WILL NOT RINSE THE SOAP OUT OF GARMENTS. We were told to only use heavy duty or white cycles with double rinse, softner and prewash. This doesn't work either. We've had Kenmore for 50 plus years in our household and if I could sell it with a clear conscience I would in a heartbeat! I realize Sears is having financial problems but as a minimum they should recall these machines and fix them somehow. If not I think from reading others reviews and knowing several that have the same problems with the 700 series there is bound to be a class suit considered.

We purchased the 500 series washer a little over 2 years ago, and have regretted it ever since. Water level too low, doesn't cover clothes. I wash everything on "Bulky/Bedding" and that seems to help get clothes cleaner. Months back a sheet wrapped itself around the agitator and it snapped right off. Called Sears and was told they don't have anyone in our area, Sears transferred the call to another company who said they don't have anyone either and I should call Sears. Needless to say, it's still not fixed.

This was purchased in 2016 for about $1300.00 USD. This year, 2018, an error began showing on the display, LE. The error is indicating a motor failure. Our 2010 Kenmore Toploader still works fine, never had any issues with it. Moving on, Kenmore telephone support was both unhelpful and rather brash in nature, whilst I was polite at all times. The representative was uncaring, had no positive or helpful information, other than to provide the cost of the motor at $62.73 USD. When I asked for the cost to install the motor, $99.99 to look at the washer and give an estimate on the repair cost!
Any company is fully aware of the time necessary to install a part such as a motor, yet Kenmore wants $99.99 to tell you how much they will bleed you for the repair. In short, this washer is an expensive pile of junk, so avoid Kenmore products, they are now low-quality junk for high-dollar prices. I wish I could say I am not an owner as they suckered me out of hard-earned money. I will never buy another Kenmore product in this lifetime.

I have had Kenmore products for over 45 years and loved them all. My old washer finally quit and I purchased a 600S Kenmore washer 6 months ago. It has a large tub and agitator, but the clothes come out tied in knots. Even with the deep water fill, there is never enough water in the wash. I end up using a double rinse. So where is the water saving? I get so mad every time I wash a load.

I've been reading the bad reviews on these washers since I own one with the same common problem of not cleaning clothes and leaving lint or detergent stuck to them. In theory, the washer determines how much water it needs and the user has no control of it. On my last load I opened the washer periodically and checked. The clothes were wet but not submerged at all. I felt around and there was only about two inches of water underneath the clothes. Over time, I took some photographs. It looked like almost nothing was changing. The same windbreaker and the same flannel sheet were visible in the same relationship to each other the whole time prior to the first spin.
I have had loads come out with DRY patches on some of the wash. I think the root problem is not enough water, so maybe it's just a sensor issue. I spoke to a technician and he says this is the nature of this design. It just isn't made to float the clothes and stir them up sufficiently to get them clean. I was wondering if anyone had actually gotten this problem resolved?

I've always had Kenmore washer and dryers. With little or no problems. I purchased the large capacity 700 series so I could wash bedding and large loads of jeans. With no agitator in the drum clothes and bedding does not rotate. When you load the clothes or bedding whatever is on top stays there and just floats around. Meanwhile what is on the bottom gets knotted up. What cloths are on top does not get clean. It seems the washer never adds enough water even if you select deep fill. The only loads it seems to work on are loads of white. IE white sock, underwear where the articles of clothing are small enough to get swished around. IMO this washer is the biggest p.o.s. The engineers that invented this washing system better go back to the drawing board.

My last washer/dryer set was Maytag. Had it 13 yrs, never a service call. Left it in our house when we sold it. Went & bought new Kenmore set. After reading some of these reviews about Kenmore...always reliable, run forever etc. That's what I thought. Had Kenmore in past & was happy. Well...times have changed!! I'm not a "top of the line" person...paying for bells & whistles I'm not even going to use. This model 25132 is mid-line but doesn't have the big agitator, but 4.3 capacity for BIG loads.
1st mth I hated it...noisy, walking all over when it spun. Called them out. Serviceman said nothing wrong with it...was I using proper detergent. HE!! What!!! Detergent makes it vibrate. I think not. Married 50 yrs. Have never had a new washer do this. BTW was using proper detergent. 3 yr mark agitator plate went out...stripped. Replaced that. I'm sure all the shaking & vibrating had something to do with that. Now 3 mths later, vibrating sooo BAD hits the walls, turns sideways etc. Called out service again. Drum is bent again, I'm sure from all the banging around. Costly repair. So am just going to take repair money & buy new washer. But reading reviews, seems like every brand has some of the same issues. Repairman said Whirlpool has bought Maytag & other brands therefore everything has gone downhill. Really disappointing!!!

I have had this machine for 3 years now and hate it every time I do laundry. The only function I can use is the timed dry. When I use the other functions, the machine doesn't dry the clothes or takes all day to dry one load. I called a technician to come and look over my dryer. This technician told me that the dry clothes are coming in contact with the sensor inside the machine next to the lint holder and left. I started putting smaller loads in the dryer and did not help. So I tried the timed dry to see if this would work and it does. But why spend money on a machine if you can only use one function? Useless is what I tell ya.

I wasn't looking for a deal or cheap price on a washing machine. I liked the look of this machine and figured that since this is a popular name brand, I couldn't go wrong. Along with this machine being on sale. Well... I HATE this machine. Stresses me out EVERY SINGLE TIME I do laundry. This machine doesn't rinse the soap out of the clothes and I use liquid soap. I thought at first that I used too much, so I used less. Nope! I thought that maybe I need to use the two rinse function. Nope!
So now I am having to wait for my load to finish then turn around and use the rinse and spin function. Just to rinse the liquid soap from my clothes. Also, my towels smell horrible. I use soap with softener and liquid softener. No use... I thought maybe the machine needed to be cleaned. Used the clean function and still my towels smell horrible. When I first noticed these issues, I called for a repair person to come out and take a look at the machine. All he said was to use the 2 rinse function and left... DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE.

Bought a new Kenmore washer in 2014. From the time we bought it it was throwing out a cafe F51 didn’t know what it was ( yes ignorance on my part) however if you turned it off and then back on it worked fine. Now it has stopped working completely! I call customer service and ask if it was under recall after telling the lady my name and address five different times. She said no. I ask to speak with her manager and she said she didn’t have one. Wow. I am talking to the owner of the company! So I said I would like to speak to a supervisor and reluctantly she placed me on hold and when the supervisor got on the phone she also stated that the washer was not under any recall.
I ask her how she would know that without knowing what the serial number and model numbers were and quickly she ask for them. Put me on a brief hold and wouldn’t you know it same answer! No recall. However it has been giving this code since we bought it. Their solution to the problem is that I pay $99 for someone to come out in a week and see if it is under recall and if not then I can pay to have a washer fixed that was broke when we bought it. Gotta love them! I am not a happy customer!

I thought I was doing something wrong at first but after manipulating all the buttons, I still can’t seem to get ANY of my wash loads clean! We purchased Kenmore 600s series W&D March 2016. This is the most inefficient large product I ever purchased. Where do I begin. The first thing I did was change my mindset about how a High Efficiency washer operates. I got rid of the old way of thinking with the beloved Kenmore washers & dryers of years ago. Well, there is no comparison. The first problem was low water level and white streaks on dark clothing. I switched from powder detergent to liquid and that fixed the streaking issue. Now, as for water level. My first reaction was, why such a huge tub if it really cannot be used?
I used deep fill on occasion and I noticed the rinse cycle repeated itself 3 times before I realized what was happening. No more. I had to manipulate the controls to end that nonsense. The water levels were inconsistent even with same chosen options. I won't mention all the variations but this is what I found works best: I use the Delicates cycle w/ normal Soil. Unfortunately it doesn't spin well so I then use Rinse & Spin option but eliminate two rinses. Ugh! I hate this BS. Don't like that I can't lift the lid while it's filling. I called Sears and they charge a $99 diagnostic fee to come out then labor and parts. I read reviews of others who had similar issues. Some had to have the same problem fixed multiple times within a year. It could be the motherboard console. To replace this piece is about $250 plus labor plus the diagnostics. I paid $598 for the washer in 2011. I think I might be better off just purchasing a Speed Queen or another washer with a better warranty rather than pour money into something unreliable.

I needed to replace my old Kenmore washer and dryer after many successful years of use---did research but not enough, apparently. I have never been so disappointed with a Sears product as with this washer. Unable to soak heavy hobby dirt overnight, I hate the auto lock feature, and the lack of enough water in tub. I have to use the double rinse and extra fill of water every time plus the heavy duty cycle. Powders like soap and oxy need to be dissolved in a tub before you use them or your clothing will come out with white powder patches. Clothes are often not clean because of the lack of water fill.
I complained to the clerk at Sears who sold me the washer after just a couple weeks and he was rude and discounted all of my concerns. By the time I went back again after a few weeks, he said the time lapsed and the machine could not be returned. I really wish I had kept my old machine until the motor totally quit. I hate the electronic controls that turn on if you even wash the top or sometimes walk by the machine.
I have never been so disappointed in a product as this before. The Sears official site kept telling me there was an error in my submission and booting me off, and I strongly suspect it is because the review was negative. I purchased the matching dryer and it is fine except for dirt that collects on the inside rims of the door with each load... I empty the lint screen but dirt still collects on the door. The washer also takes twice as long as any washer I have ever had, and I am 73 with a history of at least 5 washers in my life. I hope buyers will not make my mistake with the 600 series of Kenmore top loader washer machines. Thank you for reading.

We bought a Kenmore Series 600 Triple Action Technology High Efficiency washing machine to replace a tiny, old machine left by previous owners. I wish we had kept theirs. This machine is the worst piece of machinery I've ever owned! It has shredded two sweaters, doesn't get clothes wet, let alone clean and is a complete waste of my time. Even using the Deep Fill option doesn't guarantee your clothes will all get wet. Your clothes will come out of the washer tied in knots and stretched. There is an option of two rinses, that you would think would at least get your clothes wet, but, alas, it does not.
So I have to think the high efficiency adjective was a complete lie. Using more water, extra water, having to wash things two and three times doesn't seem very efficient to me. The engineers who designed this washing machine should be fired. I have tried deep fill, two rinses, etc. etc. Nothing works with any consistency, and it is ludicrous to have paid almost a thousand dollars for a machine which, from its first day, refuses to wash clothes satisfactorily. Is there no way to make Kenmore accountable for marketing and selling a product which is such a miserable failure?

This Kenmore series 700 washer is one of the worst washers I've ever used. The countdown timer is rarely correct, hardly gets comforters completely clean, ie dry spots on it AFTER you take it out of the washer, which leads me to it NOT washing items completely. I could watch clothes "float" on top of the water while the agitator spins on the bottom, hence not cleaning them. Unless you use the "DEEP FILL" option for everything, it doesn't seem to get stuff "clean". The only thing I like about it is the size of the washer drum, but if it doesn't clean like the old school washers do, then I may as well just do my wash at the local laundry mat.

I don't know where to start. I guess at the beginning. I purchased this washer and matching dryer (Kenmore Elite Quad Action Model 31633) for my new home. I have always had Kenmore products and had a newer gas Kenmore but did not have gas at my new home. I knew when I went looking for a new product I had to have Kenmore for its quality and reliability. I picked this pair due to a special offer that the warranty would have a 2 year extension in addition to the 1 year manufacturer's warranty at the time of purchase. I purchased these in store and the salesman had never heard of such a thing. He was able to pull up the offer on their website and had to show it to his manager as well. When I never received any confirmation of this warranty extension. I continued to call both the store as well as customer service. The salesman remembered me and said he would have his manager contact me. This never happened after multiple attempts.
Fast forward to the manufacturer's warranty. This new washer was destroying all the new towels purchased for my new home. Though some were cheaper and purchased on sale, many were expensive towels that now had threads pulled from them everywhere thus rendering them unattractive for display and are now only available for personal use and unacceptable for company. Technicians were sent out unable to determine the cause other than a possible design flaw with the large gap between the wash drum and wash plate thus allowing items to be sucked in. This is unacceptable. I also was able to find out these appliances are not even made by Kenmore as they have not made washers and dryers for years but manufactured by Whirlpool with the Kenmore name affixed.
The technician provided me with a business card that provided a phone number for their Customer Solutions Department who proceeded to advise me that the technician would have to escalate the problem to his Technical Manager. This along with documentation and 7-8 service calls for the same unresolved problem would be required to consider replacement! Seriously? The amount of cost, time, and frustration not only for the consumer but the technicians as well after 7-8 service calls would have paid for the replacement.
I now am having the drum and wash plate replaced still not knowing if this is going to resolve the problem and nearing the end of my warranty. In addition, all the Customer Solutions Department was willing to do was reimburse me a total of $55 dollars for the damage to my towels. This would not even cover two of the bath sheets. Bottom line, no longer rely on your prior confidence in Sears Kenmore products. They are just charging more for them now to put their name on someone else's product!

I put a twin sized comforter in the Kenmore Elite Series 700 washer by itself because it had throw up on it. I washed it under the bulky/bedding option and selected all of the options it would allow me to (prewash, fabric softener, rinse twice, and stain boost- I would have selected deep fill as well but it won't allow you to when you are running the bulky/bedding setting) and it still had throw up caked up on it when I took it out!!! ALL OF MY CLOTHES HAVE STAINS ON THEM NOW BECAUSE THIS WASHER DOES NOT WASH! I talked to the people at SEARS about this and they agreed that something must be wrong with it since it came out with throw up still on it and told me to have a service guy come look at it. So I did and the guy told me himself that he agrees that the top load agitator-less washers don't clean worth crap.
He said "this model here is not made for washing blankets or comforters or rugs or pillows- it's just not made for that- it won't get them clean" so I asked him if it says that it doesn't wash blankets (...etc.) anywhere in the description of the product because had it said that we would not have bought it (for 650$!) because we wash a lot of those things and need them to actually get clean!!! And you know what he had the audacity to say to me?!? He said "well ya- just like it doesn't specifically say that you can't wash concrete blocks in it neither". So I said "ok but who would even try to wash concrete blocks?" He then said "it's just a common sense thing". CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!? Instead of admitting that they have been selling a less than perfect appliance and showing some integrity by making things right, they are getting over on us all and will I'm sure go out of business soon here. I will be suing.

We bought this Kenmore Elite Ultraclean Dishwasher 665.1278 Model for 900.00 dollars back in July of 2014. After one year of use the heating element in the door panel went out. When we called out a service repairman he told us this was one of two of the most expensive parts to replace and that these parts wear out quickly. We went ahead and paid for the repair that ended up costing us over 200.00, then decided to buy a one year warranty just in case. By the time the one year warranty was up the same door panel heating element went out along with some type of gear in the door panel. I can't believe we paid 900.00 for what was supposed to be the best of the best of Kenmore dishwashers back then only to have it break down on a yearly occurrence. I would not recommend this dishwasher. This has left such a bad taste in our mouths that we are not going to buy Kenmore in the future for ANY appliance. Period.

This is for a “600 series” washer. For some reason, I search for that, and this is what I get. My 600 series HE washer is, first of all, highly electronic. All its controls are electronic in nature, and took some getting used to. For months, I was never quite sure how to get it to do what I wanted it to do. What I had to do was a big disappointment.
HE means “high efficiency.” The washer apparently weighs what you put in it, then adds a very minimal amount of water to do the wash. The lid locks when underway, so it’s hard to see, but I have stopped it mid-cycle only to discover only about 1” of water in the tub! That was barely enough to wet, and not enough even to cover them! No wonder my clothes came out with an obvious dirty residue. So much for high efficiency!
No, in order to get my clothes clean, I have to run every cycle on “deep fill” and “double rinse,” and that means always using the “heavy duty” cycle. Like those “high efficiency,” low volume toilets which need to be flushed 4 times, what we have to do to get a wash that is cleaner than it went in eliminates any and all efficiency! This washer, if you want clean clothes, probably uses twice as much water, twice as much energy and takes twice as long as a regular, non-HE washer! If I had a choice, I would never have bought this washer (there is not much to choose from), at least not without spending 2X+ as much. I would certainly never buy one of these again.

I have called Sears and Kenmore asking for an exchange so I can get my clothes clean, that is why you buy a washer. I have spent countless hours talking to customer service only to hear, "I will send out a technician to see if they can do a recalibration, clean the tub, now they are going to do a full diagnosis which means check the unit". I have spent up to 6 hours trying to get a load of clothes clean. I did a clean washer cycle then tried to washer the clothes without any detergent or softener and they still come out with this residue. I have tried the deep fill 2 rinse which makes the washer no more High Efficient in my eyes just to see, and nothing.
I now have pictures and videos of me trying to clean my clothes and it is getting me nowhere. The warranty that Kenmore has in the book is 30 days from purchase. Who wants to think that they just spent over $700.00 for a washer that did not work so how can you go through the 5 pages of troubleshooting plus the 2 pages of the cycle guide in 30 days. The warranty they have is one year against defect in material or workmanship. I am not sure where the miscommunication is on my call, I keep saying over and over that this washer does not work therefore the workmanship.
My first call was to Sears to see how great their customer service was going to be and wow I think I might know why they are slowly going out of business. I then got a hold of Kenmore which is really just Sears so again didn't go anywhere. At this point I have been told that I must have a technician come out to my residence a total of 8 times in order to have Sears/Kenmore consider letting me get a replacement. The technician just hooks up the machine and pushes the buttons and cleans the basin just to say, "I can't find any issue but your clothes are still dirty with the white residue". What can I do to get help to exchange my 700 Series Kenmore washer? What is everyone else doing to get resolution through Kenmore? Finally before my one year warranty ran out, I called for a technician. He found nothing wrong, but noticed that the bleach on my shelf was the “splash-less” type. He said that the bleach just goes to the bottom of the tub and could just stay there and not mix with the water enough and therefore get on the towels.
He suggested that I use the “liquid” type bleach. There was no mention in the manual to use only the liquid bleach. I will say that there have been no new holes in my towels, but my towels have continued to wear out at an unusually high rate, and the lint filter on the dryer is still completely full after each load. I also noticed that this washer did not clean well and sometimes noticed that some clothes were not even wet. When I bought this, I had thought that the feature of “deep fill” would be useful, but found that it could only be used with “heavy duty” setting or above, not for “normal” or below. This washer has proven to be very unsatisfactory, and I will buy a new washer when I can afford to do so.

We had contacted Kenmore and received no help. Our clothing always stinks and the washing machine puts out a horrific odor to our home. Why is it we cant even buy an expensive appliance and have it work well? They don't care. So now we are stuck with stinky clothes and mold that will not go away no matter how much we clean. Kenmore front-loader washer model 41262 - It uses a lot less water than our old washer which dumped in about 5 gallons of water whereas this washer doesn't operate in a pond of water but merely moistens the clothes as it tumbles them. Wash quality is excellent. It's as quiet as a sewing machine almost. Huge front door makes it easy to wash small rugs. Sears had it on sale for about $550 and that felt good. Stainless tub that won't rust my clothes. High speed spin gets things almost dry right there in the washer.

We purchased a new Kenmore 700 series high efficiency washer and dryer from Sears a year ago. These were expensive machines. We have had problems with both from day one but no luck with getting any repairs done and now the warranty is out. Sears doesn't want to talk about it and the warranty company only wants to sell more useless warranties. The washer plain and simple doesn't put enough water in the machine to wash anything. To do a small load I have to put it on the heavy setting and use the deep fill to get enough water to get the clothes even wet and then it takes nearly 2 hours to complete the load. If I put in anything more than a small load it starts screaming like it is going to explode. The only way to stop the noise is to drain the water, take out all but a couple of items and start again. This is not a high efficiency machine it is a no efficiency machine.
It doesn't clean, it takes forever to complete a cycle and clothes come out dirty and tangled. The dryer isn't much better. It takes forever to dry and no matter what cycle I put it on the clothes are so wrinkled and tangled I have to iron everything, so to avoid that I mostly hang up all my clothes wet and don't use the dryer. I am a past laundromat owner and I'll tell you that these are the worst pieces of equipment ever put on the market!!! Sears/Kenmore should have to replace these machines with ones that work as they are advertised. My advice is to stay away from Kenmore and Sears to buy your appliances.

We have been well served by Kenmore appliances for forty years but our washing machine is extremely frustrating. It is a series 500 high efficiency washer. It is not efficient at all because we frequently have to wash things twice to get them clean. We purchase and use the recommended detergent. It is very slow so it wastes time. I have tried to trick it by adding extra water but that doesn't seem to help. We regret our purchase every week on laundry day. Is Kenmore doing anything to retain dissatisfied customers like us? I am no longer saving any money having a high efficiency washer and even after FOUR rinses my clothes are dirty. I only use recommended detergent, in recommended doses, load as instructed in the manual... But same story every time. After dealing with this for about a year, I've learned to automatically redistribute after every wash, then wash again and then re-rinse EVERY SINGLE LOAD. And I guess it's energy efficient because it uses NO WATER. It merely dampens the clothes. And there is no option to add water.
I have never written a complaint about any product I have ever purchased but this truly is a horrible product & I regret buying it every time I do laundry. And to top it off, the salesman at Sears, after saying that this machine was eligible for no interest (as it was ONE DOLLAR less than their minimum), casually told me - after he processed the transaction - that it was not. I have contacted the Sears store where I purchased a washer & dryer in August 2012. The design of this machine is unbelievable and I am far from satisfied. This machine requires that one put the clothes and detergent and/or bleach in with the clothes. The machine immediately locks and fills with about a quart of water. Meanwhile, the clothes are setting in strong soapy water or bleach for over a minute. Subsequently, it results in spotted and ruined clothing, towels, sheets, etc. In addition, you can only wash clothes in the delicate cycle, to prevent ripping and shredding of laundry. Once the cycle is finished, one must go to the rinse/spin cycle in order to add Downy. This wastes water.
Finally, I was directed to Repair Service where the Rep told me that the cost of a one year warranty was $80.00. She said that I only had to pay her $49.99 at that time and to give a check to the repairman for the additional $30.01 on the day of service. I thought it odd that she would not allow me to pay the entire $80.00 while on the phone but went along with it anyway. I was in TOTAL SHOCK when the repairman told me that I had to write him a check for $80.00. I explained to him what the Warranty Rep had told me and he said that the Warranty was $49.99 per month with an $80.00 deductible each visit. Who in his or her right mind would pay $599.88 for a contract on a washing machine? One could purchase a "top of the line" washer for this amount.

Do not make any purchase from Sears because the motto on the doors of each store say, "Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back" is not worth the ink that it was stamped on with! I also have not had an issue with it so far. It is the very definition of reliability. I purchased it over six months ago and it is just as effective as day one. I absolutely love it. It works great. I use it a couple of times a day and we haven't had any issue with it so far. Some dryers tend to not dry as much when used a lot. Mine is still working great. The Kenmore dryer is also fast and keeps wrinkles out. It makes clothes soft and fluffy. It also doesn't get overheated and make clothes smell burnt. It has plenty of room for the bigger loads. I also loved the price. I couldn't find a better deal. It’s an energy saver, so now I don't have to worry about light bill jumping through the roof. The appearance is very plain and boring though. It needs some color maybe giving the option to choose for a color. That way you can match it up the decor in your home.

It just looks like any other average washer or dryer. It doesn't look horrible and comes with a wide range of choices such as colors, etc. It's not the cheapest brand but you get what you pay for. I had this washer for probably too many years, and my clothes were always fresh and even large loads were cleaned throughout. It was streamlined in appearance. The white was crisp and clean and aesthetically appealing. But one day it just quit, and nothing could save it. My washer stopped draining water and emptying liquid detergent (which was okay, just pop in little detergent pods) after a few years of use, but until that point it was just fine. To say that it's reliable is an understatement and it was always there when I needed it. Always there in the clinch and I loved it. The performance was great. I walked in the park, came back, my stuff was dry. It was A 2 minute walk. Unbelievable the performance. Also, the perceived value is understated and it will keep giving and giving. It's a gift that you can give to any family member and it's good for every occasion. Very dependable. I would definitely recommend this across the vast majority of consumers that would be very pleased to own or have such a device or piece of machinery.

Kenmore washers and dryers are the best value in today's market. Because of their value, I have been buying Kenmore washers and dryers for 50 years. They are attractive and fit in very well wherever you need to put them. Both the washers and dryers are so easy to clean and can fit in any decor, even they have to be placed in a kitchen. Also, they do such a great job and the clothes come out so clean and in perfect shape. The dryers and the washers have all the settings for delicate and sturdy laundry. Kenmore washers and dryers are always so reliable.

Kenmore washer model # 21102010. Only lasted 5 years. After it stopped going to the next stage of washing, repairman states that 2 parts need replacing... $360.00... I will never buy a Kenmore appliance.

Model 110.27102310. Serial C34130259 - The washer finishes the cycle and the clothes are barely wet. Oftentimes I have to do it over again wasting water, time and detergent. If the load is uneven during the spin cycle, the washer hit its wall very, very loud but does not show or have any indication where and how to balance the load (more to the left? or more to the right?). It's HIT AND MISS - I keep trying to balance it over and over with a guess. It is so frustrating!

The product washes the clothes well and doesn't leave them soaking wet. It leaves my clothes fresh! It separates my clothing pieces and doesn't bunch them up together. I can put multiple pieces or items in the washer without any issues. I can put on heavy load and still get a reliable wash. The washer is very reliable. I've had it for some time. It works like its brand new! And The appearance is simple and chic. It has a nice front which is attractive for a washer. The washer is a front load so I can see all of what is going on while the clothes are washing. This is definitely worth the value. It is more durable than any other wash I have bought in my previous years.

We bought the washer used and have now had it for 3 years. It is very dependable and it dries large loads of laundry, like my king sized bedding sets with no problems at all. It has a few surface scratches from the last owners, but that does not affect its performance at all. I'm happy with it and we have definitely gotten our money's worth out of it. I would not hesitate to buy another one tomorrow if need be and would recommend Kenmore Washers to anyone.

Kenmore is the only washer & dryer that I now buy. I tried others but nothing beats a Kenmore for quality & dependability. I have a white top loading washer - easy to load & easy to unload. The tub on the washer is for large loads and it is deep - kind of a stretch for short people (you might have to stand on your tiptoes) but well worth the quality. It's very dependable and gets my clothes clean & wrinkle free. With the white side loading Kenmore gas dryer, I never have to re-dry clothes because they are "damp" after the drying cycle runs - unless you try to dry 10 towels at once. When I did have a small problem with the dryer's heating element, the service tech showed up the next day and there was no charge. My previous Kenmore washer lasted well over 10 years - we ended up giving it away so we could have a larger capacity tub and I had to have the matching dryer.

It is designed well. The finish and appearance look very good still, it has not deteriorated in all the time that I have had it. It still works and performs like it did when it was brand new, keeps my clothes clean, and the controls allow me to customize the wash exactly how I want it. It's definitely reliable, always works great, no repairs necessary and never breaks. They are well built, made out of strong materials, solid, and very durable. It's a fairly good money layout. Also, when it's time to buy a new one, I can always sell the old one.
