Feeling super aggravated at the moment. Bought a Kenmore Elite refrigerator from Sears last year. Now not even a year later the bottom freezer has stopped working completely. I've called for service and it took a month for someone to come out. Then parts had to be ordered. Another month for that wait. The man who came out to put the new part in had no clue what he was doing. When he left he said give it 24hours and it should be working. Nope nothing. So I called in yet another service appointment which was a month away and was set for today. Three o'clock rolls around no call. I finally call them and get a live person. Guess what. The guy called in sick and no one bothered to call and yup you guessed it they want to change the service date to August 23 another month.

After only 15 months of usage, our $2500 Kenmore "Elite" (LG) fridge had a compressor fail. 8 days without a refrigerator and labor costs not covered. Repairman said he's seeing a LOT of these boxes have compressors fail, so buyer beware. Extended warranty is outrageously prices -- probably because it's likely to fail yet again. I expect a class action suit at some point based on reading online about faulty LG compressors in both Kenmore and LG refrigerators.

Bought my Kenmore Elite a little over 5 years ago, loved it until this week, it broke. Compressor went out, $900 to fix! Seems a Very Common problem with these expensive refrigerators! Decided to purchase a different brand. WILL NEVER BUY KENMORE AGAIN!

I bought a Kenmore Elite refrigerator 3 1/2 years ago for $1500. Within the first few weeks, the motherboard went out. The repair guy said that it was a good thing it was on warranty because a new one would have been $900. Three plus years later, the seal system died. Compressor, good; motherboard, good; motor, good. Cooling, nada. Called Sears. I'm not under warranty. They want $99 to diagnose and couldn't be there for 3 days. Called another local repair with a great reputation. He checked it out, diagnosed the problem and said they should cover the seals for five years, but, even if they picked up the cost of the parts (what a warranty would do), it would still be $1200 to repair. Another repair company confirmed. He suggested I call Kenmore directly. That is impossible. You get routed back to Sears. I used to count on Kenmore for all my appliances. No more. What a piece of junk.

Purchased a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator 2.5 years ago. 3 Months ago the Ice maker started dripping water and freezing up. Cost 270.00 for a repair person to come out and "realign" the water feed to the ice maker. Now the entire unit is not getting cold. $400 worth of parts and a bill to me for $367 plus $99 service fee. The Kenmore Elite Over the stove Microwave purchased a 14 months ago, fan was staying on. Service fee was going to be an additional $249 for the service technician to look at it while he was already at my home. The phone center where you had to call would not discuss any other options and even had the nerve to keep me on the line every time I called trying to sell me a home warranty on appliances that are less than 3 years old!!!

I would give this negative stars if I could. We bought a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator with bottom freezer in September 2016. It totally stopped working on June 23, 2017 (8 months later). The earliest appointment they could give us was the following Friday, June 30th. Repairman thinks that it "may be the compressor" but can't get the parts until 7/21. We told him that was unacceptable and he was then able to find the parts and scheduled to return on 7/7. Just got a call from Sears saying that the parts are on back-order and the earliest they could schedule service is on 7/24.

I will NEVER purchase nor will I recommend Kenmore Elite "Stainless Steel" appliances. First, the only "stainless steel" which exists is in the handles on all appliances, everything else is cheap metal. I bought in 2016 the Side-by-Side (both doors developed rust spots within one month), Dishwasher (outside door) developed rust spots, Microwave/Oven combo (both doors) developed rust spots, and Gourmet Hood, which developed rust spots and the lights no longer work. All I did was use the cleaner, which came with the appliances. I built a brand new house and everything within one month had rust.

Our "KENMORE ELITE" refrigerator is just 2 years old and we already need a new fan/controller. The technician said "they" (Lg) reprogramed the control board, which is now causing ice build-up around our fan, but we the consumer have to pay for it...way to run a company. NEVER buy a Kenmore product. Our old refrigerator (Frigidaire or GE...) was 15-20 yrs old and we didn't have any issues. Too bad that new technology is getting worse.

My mother purchased the Kenmore refrigerator/freezer model #253.7060. After only 2 1/2 years of ownership, the compressor stopped working. The repairman said it be $666 to replace it, repair was not an option. That's the price of a new fridge! This is a poor product. I would not recommend its purchase.

Do NOT buy this refrigerator! I purchased the Kenmore Elite Bottom Freezer Refrigerator (Model 79574043410) in April 2015 from Sears. In the first month the fan quit working. Had that repaired. It is now 27 months later and the compressor has quit. Dead. This happened on a Thursday and a repair person could not be scheduled to come out until Tuesday. They do NOT work weekends! Fortunately I kept calling until they agreed to come on Monday. As I suspected and reported to them it was indeed the compressor. As stated by the service technician they have been having quite a few compressors on these go out. The compressor would have to be ordered and supposedly would be in by Wednesday but they cannot schedule a repair appointment in advance until they actually have the part.

When we purchased this refrigerator in June of 2015 as part of our kitchen remodeling project, we decided to invest a bit extra to get an appliance that was on the higher end of the product line as we wanted something formidable that would last and serve us well. After two years it would be difficult to be more disappointed with the decision to purchase this particular appliance. Though we haven't had an issue with the basic cooling function of the refrigerator or freezer, the rest of the items is slowly falling apart. The ice maker began to fail within a year and now it is completely non functional. The plastic that held the spring loaded door flange has broken off so we need to manually move the flange each and every time we close the refrigerator. Also, door compartments have broken off and need to be held on with tape.

The Kenmore Elite Refrigerator Model # 795.7402.411 has fail twice in two years with the same error code Ef-rf. We had the service man out in June of 2016 and it was still under warranty but it was about to expire so we purchase a extended warranty. The Sears repairman said they were having a lot of problems with this unit. Well now a little over a year later my warranty is off and it stop working with the same error code. I called service and they stated that the warranty is over and another year contract would be over $300.00 for another year.

I bought my Kenmore Elite refrigerator in 2013 and purchased an extended three-year warranty but the warranty only goes to 2016 because the three-year was only actually a two year because it included the manufacturer's warranty - when I called the 800-number for help they told me I no longer had service on my refrigerator and there was not any repair man that would come to our area. I was told by someone who finally did look at my refrigerator that it was not cooling because of the sealed system's unit and should have a five-year warranty on that but I cannot seem to find anybody that will help me. I will never buy another Sears product as they are not helpful at all - when I do buy another refrigerator I will make sure that the warranty is what it says it is and that it has a sealed systems warranty and that a repairman will be available to come work on the refrigerator.

Ice maker mold cracked and calling Kenmore customer service, they said I would need a new ice maker. The plastic mold ($10 at most), cannot be purchased separately. Cost: $75 for the replacement unit. If we extrapolate, the next step will be for them to require replacement of the refrigerator if the interior light bulb needs replacing.

So the Kenmore Elite refrigerator that we purchased not so long ago is now breaking down. By breaking down I mean the ice machine part is physically breaking apart. I just found a huge piece of plastic in my glass. Please be aware if you own one!! Just imagine if the plastic was smaller...

Purchased a Kenmore Fridge from Sears which is manufactured by Electrolux. Purchased it in June 2016. Have had the repairman out four times for the same issue of not staying cold. They do not want to replace the fridge. They want to send repair person out a fifth time. It will be over a month without a fridge. This is not acceptable.

Purchased an expensive French Door Bottom refrigerator from Sears in Feb. of 2013. Last week it stopped working. Called the Sears Service and they said they will charge $99 to come out and then give an estimate for the repairs. They also tried to sell me their 5-year warranty for $324.0 which is sold for $150 by Home Depot and Lowe's. I called another repair service who charged me $65 to check the problem and said that compressor is not working would cost $750.00 to replace the compressor. We decided to junk the refrigerator and buy an LG two-door top freezer for $990. Will never again buy a Sears brand product.

We purchased this refrigerator less than three years ago. We had our first service call after 6 mos of ownership with a sensor and the freezer, the resistor defroster replaced. We then had to replace the freezer. My husband ordered the part and it came in used. He returned it for an exchange. The second one came in with a piece missing, which he was able to take off the broken one. Then the back panel froze up twice with a layer of ice under the bottom drawer. When this freezes, water flows out onto the floor. We unplugged it, defrosted it and raised the temperature. Just two weeks ago, it stopped getting cold. The Sear's service person was out here today. They would have to order a new compressor and another part because there is a Freon leak. The service charge would be $393.

It was a bargain. We caught one on sale during income taxes time. The Kenmore refrigerator we bought was estimated around 900$ dollars but we got it 750 dollars at Lowe's. The refrigerator is made of chrome material and the size went perfect in my kitchen. I recommend it for a single couple or a couple with a lot of kids. Every food item we brought fit just well in the refrigerator and freezer. It also has a lot of room to store your sodas or water. I recommended to anyone who wants to know about it. You will feel good having it in your home.

My experience with this device has been great, it is very resistant to dirt. Always keeps food fresh and is of low electric consumption. Very beautiful, practical and durable. I would recommend it to other people because it is a good investment. It's worth paying for this device.

My Kenmore Refrigerator is small and white with a freezer on top and a fridge on the bottom. It's an apartment size refrigerator but fits one month worth of groceries. I've had it for for 9 years and and it runs every day. It is very well made and uses less electricity. It's easy to clean and perfect for one person.

I had this unit before having children, so I had to upgrade. The fridge served us well up to that point... Never an ounce of problems with it. I just needed double doors and more space so I bought a new one. Got a great deal on this refrigerator! It was quite inexpensive but it served all our purposes. It was bright white and easy to keep clean. I loved the color cause it matched our other appliances. The unit provided my husband & I with plenty of space... Veggies & fruits in drawers and room for big watermelons on shelf. Kenmore is a great brand & our second refrigerator is also a Kenmore... We're very happy with it, too.

It's the best performance refrigerator. It's very quiet and run very nice. It has very nice features to make the refrigerator the best of the brand out there. It's size is about what I would want. The refrigerator is very sturdy, heavy and very convenient to use. It has plenty of room to fit all of food items. The appearance is very basic, nice, premium and beautiful. I am highly satisfied with the value because it got to be the most affordable of all the refrigerator.

I trust this brand for my family and I believe that everyone else should as well. Very good customer service when needed, which is not often. My fridge is very, very reliable and I would recommend to anyone. My fridge does fit everything that I need to fit in there. The freezer portion is a little small which is my only complaint but the rest is absolutely perfect. The appearance is very modern and aesthetically pleasing. I've gotten so many compliments and it fits into my kitchen like a glove. It looks as if it was made for my kitchen when in reality I didn't get this fridge until many years after our house was built. The value is nicely priced. I get what I paid for and I believe that an expensive fridge just reiterates the reliability and sturdiness of the machine itself.

This is an awesome brand. We have tried many different brands and this is by far our favorite. We have had ours for 4 years and never had any issues with it. For a family of 7 this is the best fit for our needs. We can easily store our food and leftovers. We often buy meat in bulk and the freezer has plenty of room for us. I'm in love with the modern silver look to it. It fits perfectly in our kitchen and goes with anything. The inside is just as amazing as the outside. It's great for a modern day kitchen. At first I was sketchy to purchase a fridge for more than $100 because I just knew we would regret our decision. But I swear it was great for the price we paid. I don't regret our decision one bit now.

Our Kenmore fridge is a very basic, low-price appliance. It is a white refrigerated box for keeping food in, the kind you'd find in a motel kitchenette or an inexpensive apartment. It's not appropriate for a family and you can't fit a great deal into it. Still, it's acceptable for a single person or a couple who want something utilitarian without any bells and whistles. Also, it would be good for a vacation home.

This refrigerator is the best and it has a good appearance. Very bright, clean looking, wipes off with ease and does not stain at all. Definitely a nice look and it is the perfect size - not too big, not too small, just right. The inside has just the right amount of space to fit all of the essentials and more. Also, it keeps everything ice-cold and fresh. The value of this refrigerator, in my opinion, is good. It was purchased at a very reasonable price and has lasted a very long time. Absolutely no complaints. I would give the performance of this refrigerator 5 stars and I would absolutely recommend it.

This refrigerator was the perfect size to meet all the needs of a mid-size family. Simple white color and nothing fancy but certainly a pleasant addition to any kitchen. I believe you can get other colors also to match any decor of your kitchen. Also, no thrills or frills but just perfect to meet your needs to keep your food safe and fresh. The value of a refrigerator is not only its purchase price but more importantly in its reliability and its reliability was beyond compare to other refrigerators we have owned. It has lasted for years and Kenmore is a brand to trust.

Our Kenmore Refrigerator has lots of space for food and compartments for different genres of food and keeps everything fresh and opened at a good length externally but also internally. It is a good size for my kitchen and was perfectly placed in a good spot and fit well. It is a great match for the colors in kitchen. Fridges usually don't come in that many colors but while white was not my favorite selection it was the cheaper choice. White is sort of dated and tends to look a little cheaper than a silver or black but besides that it matched everything in kitchen and went well with vibe for most part. I never had a problem with the fridge section or freezer section to the point where I had to call service or return it. It worked well. I think I got what I paid for.

Its black design makes it look amazing and gracious. It goes with all my pots and pans and any knick knacks I have to match. It also goes with or tiling in the kitchen and the handles on the door are nice and sturdy. Also, it's very spacious in both the top and the bottom of the fridge. You have the freedom to do the shelves at any level of spacing and it still fits a lot of food and drinks. The crisper drawers keep the veggies at a perfect temp and ice maker works great. I would recommend any fridge done by Kenmore. Even growing up I lived on these refrigerators and I don't remember them falling at any level or beating any other competitors.

This fits well in my kitchen as I don't have a very large area designated for my refrigerator and I like the white color as it matches my other appliances. It withstands fingerprints and cleans up really well. My kids have all kinds of magnets on it and they don't mar the surface. Also, it holds all the food I need, even after going to the grocery. Tends to freeze things in the back but it works well. The freezer section is adequate and keeps food the proper temperature. It is a good refrigerator and it's over 6 years old. I feel like the price paid was fair for the product. The Kenmore name is a good one and I would have paid more for the quality and name.

This refrigerator was good quality, it was reliable. Would of enjoyed one of the stainless steel models with the sleeker look and more modern design, but this fridge was fine. It was easy to keep clean even though it's white. Also, it was a good size for my family (myself, husband, and one child). There was plenty of room and extra for everything we need. I tend to cool a few big meals on Sunday to last a few days and need to store it in large tupperware or pots and that can take up a lot of room but I had it with this fridge. We had it for years with no problems and I didn't feel like this fridge option was overpriced. I like this brand and it's a trusted name so I felt comfortable with what we were purchasing. I would recommend this fridge and this brand.

It's clean, plain, and kind of boring. But I like that it's white because it makes the kitchen bright. It's easy to wash, but ugly without kids pictures on it! But as far as functioning it was fine and it keeps my food cold. The price for this fridge was considerably cheap. Size-wise, it's a great refrigerator. I could fit a whole pizza box in it (unlike my side by side refrigerator now), and has lots of door storage. The downside to it being so spacious is that things get lost, and unfortunately, end up going bad.

The refrigerator has great efficiency when keeping items cold, and would not overuse the electricity. Very happy with the freezer. It's quiet, efficient, and has enough room for meats and veggies. Perfect for couples. Also, it fit quite easily in the kitchen, though not too convinced with the doors opening side by side. Would recommend to get if kitchen isn't so cluttered together. The appearance is very basic with the stainless steel, it isn't too flashy or too simple. But, it scratches easily when putting things on the doors like magnetic objects. Also, I feel like it is overpriced because it's a very simple refrigerator and its functions aren't very complex at all.

Kenmore Refrigerators work really well and last for a long time. The temperature settings are accurate and having it on the colder settings doesn't freeze all of your food like many other types of refrigerators. It has plenty of room and can hold quite a bit. I'd definitely recommend this size. I'm sure it will be big enough to hold and store all of the food you need. It isn't the most futuristic or high tech looking fridge but what it lacks in looks it makes up in storage, efficiency and durability. Seems to resist dents and scratches really well too. This was one of the cheaper models they had available but with this brand price isn't always everything. I am very satisfied with what I paid.

It has a low life capacity and usually, the bulb burns out decently quick which is not a huge problem and should be fixed. Also, I never had room to do what I needed to do and the unreasonable size made it even harder. It's just a hard to handle fridge. But it is still a nice fridge and just my style.

The refrigerator has been a great investment for me in my house. It works well and has a nice ice maker to go with it. It fits all my groceries and I always have plenty of extra space to put things freezer for around the holidays and for extra meals and it has an extra large freezer. It is a beautiful, steel colored fridge that has a great look to it, too. It goes well with my kitchen colors as well as my appliances. The value of the fridge was worth the amount I paid for it. I would recommend this brand to someone that needed a refrigerator. If I ever decide I need a new fridge I would probably buy the same make and model.

The performance is outstanding, they are a leader. Value was amazing. It was a great price for the size and durability it was almost unbelievable. The great deal I received it for and the delivery was also included so there was not any extra surprise charges added on. I love the way it looks and how well it is to maintain little effort into cleaning and it always looks amazing and looks great in my kitchen. It fits well with all my other appliances. The range I have keeps food fresh and at a great temperature easy to keep up with and maintain. The size of the fridge is amazing. It has enough room for everything that I need to put in there and more. I need to keep a supply of milk for my son and there is more than enough space for everything I need to put in there.

I don't like a lot of frills - this refrigerator looks crisp and clean. It's nothing super fancy but it gets the job done. Exactly what I prefer in my appliances and exactly what I expect and then some at the price point. It looks very nice in the kitchen too. This refrigerator performed as anticipated. It kept food fresh at a good temperature. Also, very seldom did I run out of room for all the things that needed to be kept in the refrigerator. Plenty of shelf space to hold even larger items.

I was a little skeptical at first because of the model of the fridge. However as I later found out, the fridge fit more than I expected, worked better, and saved my family money. It's durable, long lasting, and has more than enough space to fit anything in your freezer, fridge or what have you. It's sleek, interesting and reminded me of a futuristic type of refrigerator which indicates to me that the future of fridges is bright. Though I thought this product would be way out of my price range but with the help of a salesman, this turned out to be an incredibly easy to pay for product. I would honestly recommend this fridge to anybody.

I adopted the refrigerator and it worked really well until it started to fail (expansion valve and compressor). The size was just right for a family of four and worked fairly well for the produce section although the refrigerator is several years old. It has an appealing appearance. The color was white and had no problems with chipping or easily scratching. It was easy to clean with soap and water. It worked for about 3 months and was at least 17 years old when we finally found an economical refrigerator to replace it.

My refrigerator performed consistently well. It was very reliable and incredibly easy to clean. The size was good. It fit well into my kitchen and didn't take up too much room, but it was large enough to hold enough food and beverages for my family. It was well laid out and easy to organize and keep tidy. It was a very good value and I was very happy with the purchase. I definitely got my money's worth. Overall, this refrigerator was simple, unobtrusive and didn't stand out. I didn't mind this at all, but if someone were looking for something stylish they might want to consider another model.

Kenmore Refrigerators have good temperature control and nice drawers. Overall cubic feet is fine but side by side really limits overall size especially for large containers. Much too narrow of a door. It has good options with adjustable shelfs. Overall performance has been good but very frustrating that ice maker broke after a few years. Value is ok but considering how much these costs the ice maker should not break. Should at minimum have a lifetime or very long warranty on the ice maker.

It keeps the food nice and cold, is not loud. It is the right size for my kitchen and doesn't take up too much space. The INSIDE of the fridge is a good size and has a lot of drawers to put away produce and groceries in. The appearance is sleek and polished and goes well with the overall aesthetic of my kitchen. I enjoy it a lot and it doesn't stand out too much but does being a nice flair to the kitchen as well. I bought it for a few hundred dollars and it's definitely worth the price. I'm happy with the purchase and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who is considering buying a new fridge.

Temperature of the Kenmore is easy to adjust and maintain and never did the freezer overfreeze or freeze up and the crisper drawers did not get too cold. Easy to clean and easy to remove shelves. For this model it is a good size for a small family. You can fit a variety of sizes of jugs and bottles on the shelves. Leftover tall pots of food fit fine for storing for later. The appearance of this model is clean, simple, modern, no frill, smooth, even surfaced. The white color makes the kitchen look cleaner as well as a big decluttered. This Kenmore refrigerator works great and is competitively priced amongst other retail brands and stores. It has a warranty too which is always great.

This refrigerator stays pretty cool. The handle doesn't get dirty fast and nice and steady when opening the door to the fridge. The freezer is pretty spacious for this size fridge and is easy to clean and wipe down. It offers enough shelving in the fridge and storage space. I like the built in shelves in the fridge door and also the built in shelving that the freezer has in the door as well. The fridge doesn't look cheaply made. I like how the fridge has a shine and the surface is very easy to wipe down and keep looking nice and clean and brand new. The value of this refrigerator is reasonable and affordable. I would recommend this refrigerator to anyone who is not trying to spend too much money but want a good quality fridge.

This Kenmore Refrigerator was a great inexpensive purchase. One thing that really caught my eyes was its appearance. It has a modern yet simple look which will match any backsplash or kitchen appliances. Also, it is not the largest refrigerator but it holds a lot of food. While the freezer could definitely be larger, I'm satisfied with the size of this fridge. It saves money while being very efficient. You definitely get your bang for the buck.

I never had any problems with it except the days the motor died. I trust in the Kenmore name and always recommend their products. They have been around forever and even my mother stands behind them! Though they seem a big expense they really pay off and save you tons of money. It's an investment that definitely pays off in the long run. I like the design and features and it was very acceptable. At one point in my life it was definitely the ideal size but nowadays I have a family of my own which is quite larger. Instead of only three it's grown to five and a bigger one is needed.

This model and similar line of models is satisfactory for small families - 2 adults and young minor children who likely will need assistance in accessing food storage. The refrigerator is plain, basic appliance, white. No particular special finish and sparkle; it does what it's suppose to do. Door handles are pouched in doors; cheaper to manufacture, less materials, and also give a cleaner, more modern design than those bulky handles sticking out from door frame.

Beautiful looking refrigerator with sleek style. Comes in white, black or stainless steel. You can also get the stainless steel in no smudge protection to keep finger prints off of it. Nice easy grip handles makes the doors pop right open without much force. Great quality product that has great features and size. It has plenty of room on the freezer and refrigerator side with adjustable racks to fit larger items on the shelves and to fit all your groceries the way you need to. Deep shelves to fit all your leftovers too. Water dispenser with a water filter and ice cubes can be cubed or crushed also with filtered water. Also, motor runs so quiet you don't even hear it. Great value for everything you get with this refrigerator.

My refrigerator is working perfectly with no issues. The bonus is having the ice and water filter. It's the best thing this refrigerator could have. The size of that refrigerator is really big. The inside of it is perfect for space to put fresh vegetables and fruits but the freezer could use more space. The appearance of the refrigerator is silver stainless. The brand name is kenmore, it is reliable and it has an elegant color and it is high performance as well. The price is fairly reasonable but wish buying a refrigerator would involve a cash back program. If you are willing to get a new refrigerator between $1000-$1500, you will make the best decision because a brand new one will last for years with no major problems.

The price is kind of high for an average paid person. If you are looking for something to fit your budget this may not be the toy you want to take and may want to go for a standard size. A little oversized for a normal size home but the appearance is very nice and fits with any kind of decor. Modern, very traditional also. Plus thing is that it's very spacious on the inside for a big family size. Lots of storage and love all the different compartments on the inside for all your different foods for chosen family members. Also, love the built in ice and water machine on the door. Easy for kids to use and easy access to grab a snack. Energy saver and great value.

This fridge was cheap and it shows in its looks and performance. It's a great value for people just starting out and without a lot of needs. If I had known how it would act, we would have paid more for the next model up. It is a plain white fridge with a textured finish that is difficult to keep clean. It is moderate in size and sticks out past the cabinets. It is just a normal fridge with no bells or whistles. The size is ok for a kitchen but we need an outside fridge to hold extra milk and food. The cheese drawer is very small and the produce drawers don't really have humidity control. Since the freezer and fridge share a thermostat the fridge often freezes things if we want to keep the freezer cold enough to make solid ice.

I looked at a lot of refrigerators and this Kenmore refrigerator was the best for the price. The size was fine considering we only had a certain amount of space for a fridge with our countertops and our ceiling. The fridge had enough room and it came fully loaded, with all the bells and whistles. It kept things cold, had a water dispenser and made ice so we didn't have to use trays. Moreover, it was smudge resistant stainless steel which everybody loves.

My Kenmore fridge has been amazing. I've never had any problems with it breaking or shutting off or malfunctioning. I am pleased with my purchase because it's great. It is the perfect size for my kitchen and home. It's just what I need. It is not too big but also not too small and tiny that it's annoying. I love how sleek and shiny it is. It is big like the size of a full-size fridge, except for the fact that it is all freezer. It has lots of space inside and very deep too. It is a tall, white, solid color freezer that is square in shape. It also needs a fairly big space to fit into. Overall it has great value and I would highly recommend this freezer. Since I bought it I have never had a problem with it. It runs nice and quietly.

The appearance of the fridge was awesome. It was very fresh and modern and kinda sexy. The slim and shiny design made my kitchen pop! The price range would be about 600.00 to about 2,000 dollars with 5 year warranty which would replacement parts and labor to fix it or a refund or replace with same make and model. Called the warranty people to see what they could do for me. I was told, that's the way it is. That appliance is loud. If it's cooling properly then it's working properly. That is absurd. I've had alarm clocks that weren't this loud.

This icebox is the absolute best. It is fully loaded. The temp stays regulated. I couldn't ask for more size in a icebox. It is very spacious and I have absolutely no issues storing all of my family's cold foods and drinks. I am in love with the appearance. The stainless is easy clean and it is up to date. It looks way better than the old weird textured iceboxes. This icebox was the best value for my family's budget. All of the extras did not inflate the price either. My refrigerator had lasted many years. It has been thru kids, grandkids, great grandkids & even a few friends kids. You can still get a cold soda out of it & plenty ice cubes if you want it in a glass. This has been the best refrigerator I have ever owned and I have plenty room in it. We cook for bunch of people for the holidays. We cook all kinds of foods and I have not run out of room ever. The appearance was really nice when it was new & held up its looks quite nicely. After all those kids it doesn't look new anymore but it still looks very nice. No rust, no peeling. This refrigerator is the best value for me. It had a nice price new but not too expensive.

Kenmore products last a long time. The refrigerator is quiet while running. It is also easy to move so you can clean behind it. The shelves are easy to clean and movable, too. We chose a white refrigerator as there wasn't a cream colored one in the style and size that we needed. Products are very expensive, but we needed a refrigerator so we had to choose one that fit into the space we had. I don't have a lot of space, so a side by side would not fit the area. Unfortunately we did not measure the depth and the one we chose sticks out further than it should.

Appearance is great. The pictures make sure everything is straight, everything is all right, everything is shiny looking good. I like the way it looks and the way it size. The size is big and a lot of space. You could put everything in there and I have room for more lot of juice, Lotta drinks, a lot everything. But when you get to use it, it works really well and has the features and benefits that any appliance should have. My food is kept cold and fresh for when I need to eat it again. I have enough capacity to put my food inside. It holds everything with enough durability that the shelves will not break. It's good, pretty, white, and clean. It's a little big but it looks great. It comes in a large varieties of colors and shapes and sizes so you should be able to find the right one for you and your family. It is a very big fridge and freezer. You should be able to fit everything you need to fit in there. Could have maybe use a little bit more space in the freezer though. But the refrigerator runs great and the freezer works great, too. It has not broken yet. One of the shelves falls off all of the time but it is very easy to fix. It just slides right back on. That is the only problem we have had with the fridge and freezer.

Kenmore 596 fridge now close to five years old. Within year one, ice maker broke (repaired twice and then replaced). Year two, water leaking on the floor caused by automatic defrost clogged drain plug. Replaced drain plug, defrosted ice dam and fixed ice maker - Sears repair bill = $225. Ice maker stopped working two weeks later. Year 4 - compressor dies. Sears repairman here 3 times over 3 weeks - freon leak - unrepairable. Repairman had to request approval for new fridge. We need to wait 36 hours for answer. 20 days without fridge. Unacceptable.

My refrigerator is a Kenmore with top freezer and regular fridge at the bottom. The appearance is basic, nothing very special. What you see is what you got, no surprise, very forward design. Nothing fancy but very functional. Also, the size is average for a family of 5 is a little small for our need but we are able to manage all the food in the fridge. I did not buy it. It came with the house. Mine is stainless as my other appliances so they all look good together. I hear people saw they do not like that type due to fingerprints but this one is not bad. It has a lot of space in the crisper which actually I wish was just a bit smaller. I love the deli tray, that gets used everyday. There is a lot of shelving in the door. I like how the shelves are movable so I can adapt it if I have large items. Freezer also works great. It seems to be pretty energy efficient, which is more important to me, since I can see a pie chart for my electricity and my usage is not that bad.

It's a nice basic looking fridge/freezer combination. I don't like a big fancy fridge and I don't need a fancy ice maker and filtered water spout. I can make my own ice cubes. I'm a basic person. I have had my avocado green refrigerator since 1972 and it had never given me any problems. I'm sure the ice maker would still work if I had the water hooked up to it, but had to move it onto a screened in porch a few years ago to make room for a side by side. It is used for cold drinks, food trays during the holidays or parties, and the freezer for over flow from the other freezers. I couldn't be happier with it and the service it has provided over the years. This refrigerator came out before the energy efficient ones were being thought about and as far as I am concerned it doesn't use any more energy than the newer ones.

It's ok. Not too flashy just plain white. It works for me and my family at the moment. There are multiple shelves in to allow me to separate the food and to individualize the food. I can fit most of the food but it can be a little bit bigger but I know you get what you pay for and if I wanted a bigger fridge I would have to increase my money. I was looking for something reliable but cheap because my previous fridge I went out but it works for me. Trimming is coming off after a few years and it's not staying cold, but I know I didn't pay that much for it still suppose to last for a period of time.

I purchased a Sears Kenmore Top freezer refrigerator on 12/6/11 and it has been trouble repeatedly. It seems to me, a company should stand behind their product & want to maintain a great customer satisfaction. I think they have an obligation to sell products that work, and to replace those that don't work. Repeatedly, it doesn't keep food cold. If I call customer service for repair or to extend the warranty, it involves several hours, several calls, not understanding their English because they are in Indonesia, and then to try to get someone to come... First a guy came, but by the next day, his fix clearly didn't work. I had to go through that all over again. Now I throw in the sponge & call a local repairman who is very reputable, and pay his price.

My Kenmore refrigerator has a good variety of temperature controls and the freezer keeps everything frozen. In addition, there is plenty of room. The freezer has a wire shelf in it so I can fit a lot of things in there and the shelves on the door of the refrigerator are adjustable which makes it easy to fit anything I want in the door. I also like the white matte finish which has not rubbed off since I've owned it and it's easy to clean. I have had this refrigerator for over 15 years. It is still running good and I have no intention of replacing it anything soon. It is definitely worth the price.

Very good product. The refrigerator was a plain Jane white and it looked clean. It was just right for our little family but our family got larger and it started to get cramped and that's part of the reason we bought another one. But its performance stood up. For over 6 years it was time for an upgrade but it has done a good job. It was a fair value for the time most refrigerators were in that price range at the time and it was a reputable company with a good name.

What I liked about the appearance best was the handles, nice and small, not sticking out too far, because when going into the fridge you would not hit your head when looking up. The size was just fine, every thing fit fine but would have liked to be able to store 3 gallons of milk from back to the front. The 3rd gallon just comes over the front edge. Also, would not keep ice cream hard, only soft, and air leaks in the freezer. Temp in freezer 10 degrees would not go any lower. Also very noisy and running for long periods of time. This box would have been the best value for us if it would have worked out and did what a box was supposed to do and would have kept the ice cream at the right temp.

It always keeps everything perfectly cold in the fridge and perfectly frozen in the freezer and leaves little to no freezer burn even on things that are in for a long time. It Generally can always fit everything that I need but I guess a little more space would be nice for when I have holiday dinners and need to prepare many food items a day or two early. It kind of gets full when I need to do that. Other than that its size is great. And Its a breeze to clean. Also it flows nicely with almost any decor and I just really love the way the stainless steel looks in my kitchen. Yes these refrigerators are more expensive than your regular run of the mill refrigerator but like they say you get what you pay for. Trust me its definitely worth the extra bucks and energy saving appliances are always a plus and the side by side doors are just perfect.

Very good refrigerator and great for the basement. It also has a great surface and cleans up very easy. Freezer is big enough for our small family. We use to store pop and use the freezer for the ice cream and extra frozen foods to take on picnics. Have had it for a long time and we love it very much.

His juice and milk he loves last longer. Also, it fits all my items like meats, juice, soda, etc. The size is great and huge. I just love it so much wouldn't change it at all. If you need a good fridge the kenmore is great. Not too expensive. Sells for at least 200 to 300 or more depends on the size type and it keeps food fresh longer. If my old one breaks I will buy another kenmore. They are a good brand and their products last long. I will recommend it to all my friends and family.

It is a clean white appearance that blends smoothly in the kitchen. It's low key but does an excellent job as a functioning fridge. I live with a family of three and it fit all of our needs nicely. It performed as advertised and expected. Food stayed cold. It was consistent. Also, the freezer worked great. Nothing fancy just good. It has room for all meals and leftovers and has drawers for fruit, lettuce and deli meat. The shelving was also perfect for all of us. You get what you pay for is the old saying. When you buy this fridge, you are hoping for a reliable and consistent performance. I think that is what this fridge gives. I would recommend it.

It was pretty on the outside. I especially liked having the ice and water feature on the outside of the fridge. It fit pretty perfectly in the space I needed it to and there was adequate freezer and fridge space that I could fit all of the necessary food. Also, it was very easy and convenient to use. I bought it for my first place when I was 22 and it lasted me about 5 years until I left and moved on. It was a good price for what I received. It worked well and I did not have any problems in the 5 years that I owned the product. I would definitely buy this product in the future for my next home.

The Kenmore was an extra refrigerator that was used for soda, beer, and beverages, along with items that could not fit in my refrigerator located in the kitchen. It was a basic white refrigerator. No water or ice in the door. The door was textured and very nice looking. It was just a no frills refrigerator. It worked great, and it served its purpose. I would purchase another one if necessary.

It runs quietly and holds a lot of food. I love not having to bend over just to grab something out of the refrigerator. It holds all we need for two people and we have a lot of leftovers. We like how much can go into the door shelves including both large and small bottles. The Kenmore refrigerator looks clean and sharp. It has kept its appearance and looks just as good as the day it was put in. We have it in a recessed area and it blends in nicely. Sears' Kenmore Elite Refrigerator is junk. We've had our fridge for 5 years and have had repairman out 4 times. Always a hassle and never can diagnose and fix it in one or even two visits. We are done with Sears. Never again.

I've had this Kenmore refrigerator for a long time. It has a no frills, plain white exterior which will match other white appliances easily. Also, it is easy to clean with soap and water or a spray of Mean Green cleaner. For an inexpensive refrigerator, it works well and does the job right. It first perfectly for a small family. A twelve pack of Cokes and beer fit easily. The freezer is ample as well as long as you are not stocking up for a long time. It's a bit noisy but it's very durable. Kenmore is a great company with reasonable prices and a sturdy product. If you are looking for a dependable appliance this is for you.

I got a great deal on the Kenmore refrigerator during a 20% off sale. I have no complaints about the price and considering the difference in the size of the freezer compared to a standard refrigerator it was well worth the little bit of extra it costed. The appearance seemed a little odd at first being used to a regular style fridge for so many years. It has plenty of storage and shelf space. It had a half rack that slid from one side to the other. Was a great idea to put the freezer on bottom. Putting things into the door was strange at first but the kids loved it too. It gave them easy access to their freezer treats. Never had any issues with it. The storage was plenty for me and my family and I truly believe I would still be using it if it were not for the great side-by-side's they have nowadays in the necessity for a much larger freezer capacity. It's still in service in a friend's garage for fish and beer.

The refrigerator worked fine. I can pack a fridge and then just turn up higher so everything gets to preferred temperature. If it is cold enough, I may turn it down a little, but I prefer my milk very cold. It's white, rectangular, had fridge door and freezer door. Keeps my food cold and stuff fresh. Being a chef I like my stuff at the right temperature and it is a valuable piece of appliance that I need in my house.

It keeps really cool. Love the storage and it's very quiet which is my favorite choice. Water filter seems to last a long time and I never had any leaks. but, it does not have much freezer space and seems too deep and it tends to lose food in it. Perfect fridge area and I love the movable shelves but I wish it had more door space on freezer door. Also, I love the black and the smudge proof. I can't see hand prints. Solid build and sturdy handles. It has shine and is easy to clean. Perfect size and width. Overall, it was well worth the cash I paid for it.

I grew up with the name Kenmore. It is the brand that my family always purchase and use in the home for appliances so that's a brand that I love. The quality and the performance of the brand is great. I was a single mom when I bought the refrigerator so of course I was on a budget and that was the most reasonable price for a Kenmore at that particular time in my life. It's a white refrigerator and it was bigger than the one I have so the look is great. I was able to stock my freezer because I have it bad of buying large packs of meat and breaking them down and then we also would buy the Frozen breakfast foods. The kids love them. So it has plenty of space. I love it.

It was a good-looking Fridge as far as Fridges go, well designed, nice edges, well thought out layout. The size was also good, I was always able to get what I needed in it. But, the Freezer could of been a bit larger at times I guess but I loved the space in the Fridge part. Also, I rarely had to adjust the temp, that I loved, because I don't like messing with that. It always worked well, kept everything cold and freezer worked very well. I never had one problem to speak of. You couldn't ask for a better overall Fridge. I would buy another one in a Heartbeat. Wish I still had it, the one I have now is not near as good. But, I think the value would hold up. It is well built and easy to take care of. I see no reason that the overall value wouldn't stay high over the long run. Still looked good after I had it.

As long as I kept little kid hand marks off of it, it is easy to keep clean and new looking. The chrome finish helps keep a modern looking kitchen. But I actually found the fridge to be a bit small, particularly the freezer area. It did however, help me see everything in it, so no food got lost or wasted in back corners. This refrigerator keeps things cold and was relatively quiet. The shelf heights can be customized as well to accommodate deer sized items.

Great, great, great fridge. It's simply the best on the market. It is big enough to hold all the food leftovers you would ever have yet small enough to fit practically anywhere you would want to put it. It is so spacious inside the freezer section, too, and that's great. My fridge is white but you can get it in a wide variety of colors and in that way you can match it with your other appliances no matter what color they are. That is a great convenience. Also, it is of remarkable value and compares with fridges costing much more money. With the money you can save you could probably take a nice vacation and forget all your worries for a while.

Cost efficient, low maintenance and keeps everything cold. We have two fridges and a deep freezer, this one cost less to keep running throughout the year. And then there is a good amount of room to feed 6 people. Freezer could be bigger but it is great for the price we got it for. A lot of storage room in the refrigerator, shelf have a decent amount of room. Nice clean white look, matches well with all the other appliances. Very simple design and gets the job done. It's a bit high and it was hard to move and get into the basement.

The Elite was purchased November 2011. The repairman is here after a 5 day waiting period. The refrigerator had lost cooling first in the freezer and then the upper refrigerator. He found the freon to be low. Now to fix it first is a process to find the "slow" leak, then order the parts and then repair it. This process will take 1 to 2 weeks. The cost for repairs will be around $700.00. I was informed that the compressors on these refrigerators commonly go out... Maybe not a good purchase. The refrigerator is out of warranty and I did not purchase an extended warranty. I have purchased Kenmore products for 30 years or more and this is the first one that has been a lemon, a very costly lemon.

Removable door shelves are dishwasher safe and also adjustable. It's great for people that have children. For a family of three I would prefer a larger refrigerator with more freezer room, but the refrigerator does look nice and fits great in a smaller kitchen. Nice shine on the white surface. The clear coating makes it extremely easy to clean with just hot water. More stubborn stains clean quite well with a spray cleaner. For the size it's worth the price. This refrigerator will last a long time. I've had mine for years and love it.

The appearance of our fridge is the stainless steel, and I love it! It doesn't show a lot of dirt and just fits great in our house. We have been very pleased with it. This product was worth more than I can explain. I cannot put a value on it. When we sold the house, the buyers could not believe that we had this refrigerator as long as we did and the condition of the refrigerator. I don't remember the Refrigerator's size as this was many years ago. However, there were my husband, myself and four children. I shopped for food on a weekly basis and always had enough space to food for a family of six. This Refrigerator was side by side with an ice maker. It had a vegetable bin as well as a bin for fresh fruits. We did not have to worry about ice as there was always ice available. I recommend this product to anyone. We never had down time and it was still working after 10 years of service. I don't remember what we paid for it, but we got our money's worth.

It was very nice looking from the outside. That is what first attracted me to this item in the first place. It was also exactly the right size for my family's needs for sure. It might not fit everyone's but if you don't need a ton of room this works amazingly. I really liked the performance. It pretty much did everything that I needed it to do. Also, it was definitely a reasonable price for the size. I would definitely recommend this product to all my friends and family.

We have had this side by side refrigerator 4 years. In that time we have had a service person out twice because the ice maker wasn't working. Now we had them out again because the freezer wasn't keeping the foods frozen. This time the compressor is faulty. Apparently the "extended warranty" only lasted 3 years so it is going to cost from $700-$1000 to repair. I find it unacceptable that a refrigerator would only last 4 years. Last time I buy anything Kenmore. We bought this through Sears and they were of no help either.

I got a Kenmore fridge and it's less than a year and a half old and I've had guys from Sears out here working on it 8 diff times and it's broke down again. Big money into this thing like 3699.00 and it's junk.
