Jandy Pro was recommended by a pool professional. I bought a pump that replaced a failed one. It's a good value and it seems to be going good, overall.
I needed pool equipment because mine was 35 years old, rusting and falling apart. When the pool heater takes three hours to heat, it’s time to get something new. My pool professional recommended Jandy Pro. Last year, I bought their automation product and had it installed by a pool professional. It works perfectly. It's of very good quality and I’ve had no problems at all. Compared to other products I got, this is absolutely fantastic. I take care of all of it.
The lights in my pool didn’t coordinate with the system. I can turn them on but they don’t rotate through or it’s hard to get them on the light that I want. So, it wasn’t compatible. Then, the software system with the phone was not working consistently. Pool City, a pool professional, did the installation and they were also the liaison between Jandy and me. I talked to a rep and they didn’t know what the problem was. I called the Jandy service line and whoever I talked to at their service center was very helpful, accommodating and helpful in finding a solution. I got Pool City and Jandy connected, and they solved the problem. Now, the software is working, so that was just a hiccup in there.
It was a small thing to get it working properly but it was frustrating because I didn’t know why the software wasn’t working on my phone and then, it was also frustrating with the lights not being compatible with the system. Going in to get a replacement and putting that in, they didn’t anticipate that the lights wouldn’t be compatible. Other than those two things, everything else is working well. I’m glad I made the change and I’m happy with the product.
The variable speed is supposed to help on the electricity cost of it and running it. It seems like our electricity bill has gone down and the system is running well. So, the other one needed to be replaced. I’m satisfied with the way it’s working. We have a service that comes in and does the pool maintenance and the fellow that does the pool maintenance was impressed with the equipment that we put in there and that the size was much smaller, which takes up less space. He said that we got the top-of-the-line, so I respected his opinion.
I had an insurance claim ‘cause I had a huge tree that blew down during the storm across my pool equipment and broke all my pool equipment and my brick wall. While I was at it, I decided that I wanted to change to salt water because I was having so much trouble keeping the other clear and I’m spending so much money on chemicals. I bought the Jandy equipment through a local pool company and they came and installed it. I was real happy with it. It seems so much easier. Also, I have it hooked up to a WiFi switch so I can set it to where the pump and everything turns off and then comes back on, and it works well with that. So, I think it’s really good quality. The cost was very affordable too. I probably will have my money paid for it back in probably a year and a half or so for all the chemicals that I’m not having to buy now.
It’s probably been a couple of months ago when the LED screen on there just got stuck. It would only show what percentage of chlorinating it was doing. It was stuck on 60% and none of the buttons would let me change anything. I just called and told them what was happening, and they gave me some suggestions on what to try to do. I did that, and it didn’t help. I still couldn’t get the display to work. They said they'd send somebody out. They looked up with my address as to who is the nearest service provider. They called on my behalf and I gave them the warranty information.
Then, that pool company called me to set up a time to come out and look at it. They came out and it was then when they said they couldn’t fix it at that time. They put a new board in there so I could change the settings on it. When they did that, the whole thing wouldn’t show anything. The pool company was a different one than who installed it, but they verified that everything was installed and wired correctly. Then they just ended up replacing it. They had to order me a whole new system, and it took about four or five days or so until it came in. They came and put it back on. That was the only problem I had and Jandy has corrected it easily so I’m real pleased with the service. It was real easy talking with them about the issue.
I have recommended Jandy to someone who bought one. The salt level stays up, and I’m gonna take the water to get it checked. Everything’s usually right in level, so it performs well. The only thing is I wish that it would show me what my current salt level is. Some of them have that but I think with Jandy, you may have to buy an additional piece of equipment to do that.
Hello Steven,

I purchased a Jandy Pro Series heater and a guy and his son installed it and did a beautiful job. They charged a decent price for it. So, I’m very happy with it. I got some of his cards and I give them out to my friends. The heater has been performing just fine. Jandy products tend to be a little more costly. But the first one lasted 14 years, which was pretty good.
We bought a house and the pool was chlorine and I wanted it swapped over to a salt system. The guy that I contacted to do this for me didn’t specify what he was gonna put it in. So, he just automatically picked Jandy and didn’t consult with me. And at first, I wasn’t too happy with it. But it was more his fault than the product's fault. He told me he had put in a salt cell that was good enough for a 35,000-gallon pool. I have an 8,000-gallon pool. And so, I was running this thing at 40% and I couldn't figure out why every time I went to get the water tested, it had no chlorine in it. I finally took a picture of the unit, brought it to the local Pinch a Penny pool supply, and they said, "It's for 11,000 gallons, not for 35,000 gallons." So, I bumped it back up to 80% and lo and behold, I have extra chlorine now in it. It turns out I was just misinformed and I was setting it too low. And now that it's set right, it's working fine.
With the other salt cell I had, I didn’t have to set the percentage of how hard I want the thing to work. I just had to turn the knob that set the parts per million which was a shot in the dark either way because you really don’t know until you find that sweet spot. And then, that sweet spot is gonna change depending on the time of year, how many people are in the pool and so on. But Jandy is definitely easier to clean than the other unit I had because I just take it out of the housing, and I put it in a bucket with muriatic acid and water, and it does great. I'm really happy with it now that I've figured out what the deal was. I get the water tested weekly and usually, it's "Add two cups of acid," and that's about the expense of the maintenance other than to clean the salt cell.
Hello Crin,
Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear that you are enjoying the benefits of your new saltwater system. Wishing you the perfect pool season.

The Jandy Pro Series was purchased as a replacement and was recommended by the pool technicians. They had initial problems setting it up because they didn't wire it correctly. But once we got the right professional in to do it, it's not been an issue anymore. I find Jandy to be quite good. Everything is reasonable for what I'm getting.
Hello Gianni,
Thank you for taking the time to review your Jandy product.

Jandy Pro series lasted 4 months! Paid extra for what was supposed to be a superior warranty! Absolutely do not buy this product. They will not stand behind their products! Factory representatives Is blaming me for the failure.
When one of our lights died down, I started calling Jandy. A pool professional recommended them and then installed the product. And I really like it. It’s safe. The price is also in line with the quality of it so I'm happy with both.
I purchased a filter pump, the Jandy valve and all that pool installation of a new swimming pool. I chose the Jandy equipment through the recommendation of the pool person and it has been performing very well since it was installed. I'm pretty pleased with it and I'd recommend Jandy. They're pretty easy to use and dependable. Hopefully, they'll last longer than a year.
I've called them on a couple occasions and the customer service reps were very handy and very responsive to my questions and concerns. I printed out the user guide and there's pretty much adequate information. They have very self-explainable instruction manuals. The user guides are very well put together, and I haven't had any issues. The only very minor concern that I have is the inclusion. I have the Jandy TruClear salt treatment and the numbers for the parts regarding the tailpipe that’s next to the salt chlorinator are not listed anywhere on the user guide. So, I had the hardest time trying to get a replacement part last month. I had really dug in deep, did some research and really worked hard to figure out what those part numbers were.
The heater has been in service for less than two years. Shortly after opening the pool last month, the heat exchanger began to gush water. I’m very disappointed in this product. My first Jandy heater lasted almost 12 years. I would not recommend this heater. I have been in contact with Sal at Jandy customer service. He has been helpful. I expect Jandy to do the right thing and pay for this repair.
This very expensive pump doesn’t work because the iAquaLink app that you are forced to use with it doesn’t connect. This is not a problem with our internet or anything else, as initially told by the Jandy reps who came to troubleshoot. After getting a new router and extender (extra $s) and spending hours on it it still doesn’t function. It is completely an issue with the app. After research it turns out this app has had issues for a long time. We were told it was the most recent updated app, but that is simply not true. They might make a good pump, if it worked, but until the company invests in good programmers it won’t matter. If you have the old app and it works, do not update it. If you’re a new customer you’re stuck with the new app that isn’t functional. It has been this way for weeks and weeks. Very disappointing.
Hello Leslie,
We are sorry to hear that you've experienced issues with your Jandy Equipment. Both customer satisfaction and product quality are top priorities for us, and nothing less than the perfect pool experience will do. We will have an IOT specialist reach out to you.
All the Best,
Jandy
The pool lighting I got from Jandy is working really good. I've got a Hayward pool pump and a Hayward filter, and I got the two LED lights as well. They're probably the best lights I've ever seen. Everybody's impressed of them. My wife and I decided to have two of them. One area lights up the steps, and the other end lights up the deep end by the swim out, and it's really nice. They got like party lights. I gotta figure out how to program to where we could just pick a color and have a color stay on. They go through multiple colors - amber, blue, purple.
The quality of the product we got from Jandy is awesome. I would recommend it to anybody. It's a very easy product to install instead of those big, ugly, stainless steel lights that I'm used to back in the 70s, 80s, 90s. These things just go right in. And you turn them in, and those rubber O-rings, they just lock right into place. I saw the electrician put it in. And then you ain't gotta worry about burning out bulbs and water getting in behind the niche. It's a great idea.
I had a pool built in a coastal climate in 2013 and originally, it was the Jandy LXi that was installed. That heater had some ventilation right on the top and it was supposed to direct rainfall. But that apparently wasn’t a good design. It started cutting out and loosened igniters after four years then it gave up altogether six months ago. My regular pool maintenance people are also the people who installed the pool. Rainey sent me a proposal for replacing the heater with this new model that I bought. But it was a little pricey so I started digging around and I found another installer on the internet. I was very pleased with both the price, the installation process and the timeline with Whale Pools and have not had any issues with the installation. In particular, Rainey wanted me to hire electricians and plumbers on top of expense. But these other guys were kind of a one-stop shop and they were $1,000 cheaper.
There was a bit of hesitation because this Jandy product is a newer model in terms of being Jandy name-plated but the design isn’t necessarily brand new now. But I asked a number of different pool guys who work in this coastal climate to see if they had any opinions about which manufacturer’s equipment is holding up better down there. Everyone kept coming back to this unit that I recently purchased and I had some additional confidence in it because I have a similarly designed unit in Houston that I never had any maintenance issues with. So I ran with it since I knew it would work with the existing heater that was there. It’s a Jandy setup out there and that made it somewhat easier to be confident that everything would work with it. Frank also sent me a little table comparing a couple of different heaters to help me nail down that decision and that was very helpful. So far, I am very pleased. Everything is great. It all works.
I’m very happy with the installation process because I did not have to be involved at all and it got done right and on time. Frank has got kind of an internet shop and I really like how he’s put his business together. It was all done by telephone or text so millennials will love this guy. He’s got the model for the future. He’s got a low overhead and he passes the savings on to the customer. He also knows everything about the pool equipment. He is an NSPF-certified pool operator and an APSP-certified pool and spa-building professional. So if you’re an engineer like me, he’s gonna answer your questions as detailed as you wanna go.
He sent pictures during the installation so that I could see how it was going and that was cool. He showed the old heater and then the new heater on the slab and the connections. He sent close-ups so I could see he tied everything in. Most people that he would send this to wouldn’t see things like the pipe dope on the gas connections and the care taken to plumb up to lawn’s level. But it’s a pretty clean install. I liked this experience so much better than I liked dealing with the Rainey guys on this thing where you call the shop and they get a service guy connected to you. Frank was a lean mean pool heating installation machine. He was awesome. If Jandy wants to sell more pool heaters, they need to put these guys at the top of their list of dealers.
I purchased the Jandy Pro through a local company here and it was their recommendation. The cost didn't seem out of line. The product appears to be excellent and it makes the pool perform better. We haven't really gotten into pool season yet but the couple times that I've used it, it's made everything a lot easier than it had been. A very good experience overall.
With the other filter I had, the bladders need to be replaced every couple of years. When it failed, I purchased the filter from Jandy Pro. The service company that I use suggested it and they did the installation. This is the first time they’ve used that particular filter with me and I've only had it for a couple of months. They also maintain it if there's an issue. I just have to call them to schedule it. If the bladders fail, they will replace it for me.
We decided to have a pool heater installed and upon recommendation from Thompson Pool Services in Las Vegas we purchased a Jandy and had it installed. The total cost of the unit and installation totaled $4940. After 2 seasons the unit needs to be replaced due to corrosion issues! We maintained the pool on a regular basis, monitored the chemicals and even replaced the water before we started seeing problems. Although customer service at Jandy were helpful we were informed that repairs or replacement would not be covered under warranty. Despite checking and maintaining the pool on a regular basis we were never informed by Thompson Pool that the chemical balance is critical.
Their customer satisfaction is NOT their priority as indicated on their website as we had to call them out several times before the unit broke down and they were never able to come out the same week. The igniter for the unit had to be replaced after one season and I would expect that if the unit was such bad shape that they would have been able to see it at that time. As a partner of Jandy and for us to sit with such a huge loss is horrible. This must be one of the worst losses that we have encountered through no fault of our own. My recommendation to anyone looking to purchase a pool heater is to stay away from this company!
In Jan 2019 I had a pool installed with a Jandy heater. Unfortunately, within 4-6 weeks of installation, the pump started making a horrible, loud whistling noise. The water heated quickly and the pump appeared to be working, other than the noise. Contemporary Pools in Columbia, SC manage the Jandy warranties in the area. They came out, checked my heater, consulted with Jandy and determined nothing wrong.
A week later, whistling resumed and I called again. This time it was determined the gas valve put in by the HVAC company was faulty. I have had the valve replaced under warranty and neither Jandy nor the HVAC company will pay for the approximately $600 Jandy parts to fix the water pump! So here I sit with no water heat pump on my pool unless I pay for it - not gonna happen!!! A multi-million dollar company like Jandy should be able to resolve my customer service problem, if for no other reason that to keep their good name. I am very upset these two companies have left me with the financial responsibilities after I spent thousands on this pool already. I will make sure that people I know will hear about this and encourage People NOT to buy Jandy products!
Hello Mary,
We are sorry to hear that you experienced issues with your equipment. In order to warranty parts, we require installation by a pool professional. Please provide the HVAC professionals information to us, and we will follow up to ensure that your issue is appropriately resolved.

I bought a pool heater but after that, I had a very bad experience from the service people. It’s a big issue, and they blamed it on the gas line that was coming and where it was installed. Everything was sufficient enough and I changed the chimney on the thing, and everything still didn’t work. The biggest issue was when I had to start up and they refused to do any service on it. I tried calling Jandy customer service and they were very rude. I would not ever buy Jandy again nor would I recommend anybody to buy them. It's not the optimum thing to buy. I had to buy another one for my Florida house and I bought something else.

So far, our Jandy products are working well. I recently had a pool professional, the same builder who handles my maintenance, replace the filters and it's working fine.
One of the dual heat sensors inside the heater went bad two years ago and I bought a new one from Jandy to replace it. I did it myself and it was easy, though the troubleshooting was hard to figure out. Now it's back to normal. I've recommended them to my former neighbors.
My electric heat pump wasn’t working and then gas also became available in my neighborhood. Gas just gets hotter faster. So I went from an electric heat pump to natural gas. I looked at different units and Jandy was more of a compact unit so I went with it. The brand is also pretty well-known and I have a buddy who works there. He gave a good recommendation. Then I had a pool professional install the unit. But he didn't do it right completely. Then when I tried to get parts for it, it was pretty difficult. There was a unique thing where Jandy has a list of installers but if you had it installed by different people, you get different warranties. I wasn’t versed on that and when I called about the parts, Jandy said I would have to pay for the labor on it. All they were gonna pay for was the parts, if their guy said it was okay.
Later, I had another guy who was also on the service list but if he had done the installation, I would have gotten two years' warranty for parts and labor. They were sort of qualified by Jandy. With the people I had install it, all they were gonna give me is a one-year warranty for parts, no labor. So I was not happy with that. It would have been helpful to know the difference. Nonetheless, I've been very happy with how the heater has been performing. It performs the way it's supposed to and although it wasn’t cheap, it wasn’t overly expensive either. So I was pretty happy with the cost-benefit. It seemed like it's medium and balanced.
I sell and install Jandy pool heaters, and I like them. It’s got a two-year parts and label warranty. I’ve had a couple of warranty calls from some of my customers, but Jandy is good about covering stuff. I'm very satisfied.
The Jandy Pro came highly recommended from my pool guy and he’s the one that maintains the pool everyday. He purchased the heater and installed it. It is very easy to operate and it keeps the Jacuzzi in about probably 2/3 of the time of my old heater. Right now, it looks good and it has been performing really well.
Hello Reginaldo,
Thank you for your feedback. We want to wish you the perfect pool season.

We bought the house in Florida and it had no heater in the pool. In the wintertime, we need one, so we put a Jandy heater in. Since it was installed, it has been working good. However, I have another heater at another home that I own, and that heater tells me all the time what the temperature is. This one doesn’t even though the power runs through it or maybe we have to turn those on. I would recommend the dealer, Florida Pools Heating System, to anyone. They were wonderful and great. From down here, they don’t wanna do the gas because it’s a gas heater, and they handled the gas. They did a good job.
Peter,
Thank you for your insightful feedback. We are happy to hear that you're enjoying your new heater, and we will pass along your comments regarding the temperature reading onto the appropriate department for future product development.

We have pool heaters and a chlorinator for the pool. The heater is working okay but we’re getting moisture on the top and having some issues with that. So, I’m trying to get someone come back to look at it or service it. Other than that, maintaining the equipment is easy.

We got another Jandy to replace the old Jandy product that we had which was 16 years old and we had a professional install it. My guy didn't know I had to hook it up to my Jandy controller so I had another guy come over and do that. We don't use it a whole lot but I tried it out and it works fine. Jandy is a good product and I like it.
Kenneth,

We hired a pool company out of Matthews, North Carolina and they were using Jandy products. I have their filters but I have yet to do the replacement because the pool company had gone out of business. I went on Jandy’s website and I found whoever was local that represented the warranty and they sent someone out here who is working with me. They're gonna do the fix and there’s warranty in it. They're standing behind their product. I did the request for the warranty on my maintenance app but I wasn't able to do it because it was not hooking up to my Wi-Fi, so they’re having to upgrade that for me. So far, Jandy's customer service handled my situation fine. I don’t have any problem with the product. The equipment works well.
Hello Ritchie,

I needed a replacement cap for one of my pool filters and Jandy Pro had the best reviews. They turned out to be excellent. They couldn’t do more to satisfy whatever I needed. Purchasing it online took a little time, but it’s fairly easy. I spoke to the reps over the phone and it was very seamless. I have two pumps and they’re different in size, but they’re very similar. The first cap they sent me was for the smaller one, and I called them back and they made sure I get the right cap the second time very quickly. I couldn’t recommend them more. Keep it up.
Darren,
Thank you for your feedback, and thank you for your recommendation.

Jandy Pro Series
Our pool repair person recommended Jandy based on what he had previously. It was the same brand. He talked about how that has an automatic backflow, stuff that can shut it down and keep the circulation to reduce it. So that was kinda cool. The heater is attached to our baptism pool and everybody has been nice and warm when they’re being baptized. I would recommend Jandy. We haven’t had any issues with the its quality and it has been functioning like it is supposed to.
We were having the pool resurfaced and the pump was getting old, so we thought we could get a new pump to go with the new pool. The contractor got it from Jandy Pro Series for us and installed it. We went over the wireless thing in the app and we got that all set up, which was simple. It has been performing great since then.
Hello Jonathan,
Thank you for taking the time to review your new Jandy equipment.

My experience with Jandy has been terrible. My pool was installed about 14 years ago and it came with a standard Jandy heater which lasted for 13 years until a leak happened some time around October of last year. I had used the product for a season, just that summer, and as the gas inspector came over, the heater had already started to leak. So when the season ended, I shut the product off and put it in bypass mode for keeping the pool water circulating. I didn’t want my pool pump to be flooded. I thought that the leak would drain the heater and that would have emptied it out. But I didn’t understand that the water would actually be sitting in the heater and that created further problems with corrosion inside the machine.
That is why when somebody came over in February to take some pictures of what was going on inside of it, there was all this rusty water. As a result of the pictures having been sent in, my warranty was declined. I’m very disappointed in Jandy's product. I think there was a big problem with it too. Then it wasn’t just the expense of the heater. It was also all the modifications to the plumbing system that were required to change from an older heater to a newer one. It was a hard expense for me so it's a hardship.

The pool installer recommended the Jandy Pro Series product and they purchased it for me. Although its cost is a little expensive, it looks good and is very compact. We put it on and it seems to work. It's simple to use and seems to heat.

I purchased the heaters for our pool from Jandy Pro Series to replace old ones. A pool professional recommended Jandy, but I had one before so I just replaced it with a different model. Jandy is a great product.
Hello Gregory,

Jandy Pro Series
Jandy was recommended to us by our pool builder. Our builder did all the purchase and they did the heater pump and all the valves. Our pool is done. It worked great last season and the same can be said when we started up the pool this week.
I purchased a Jandy Pro Series gas spa heater and the people I bought it from installed it. But it didn’t work the day after they put it in and they had to come back and fix it. It's been working fine since then.
When my pool heater broke down, I said to my pool guy I needed a pool heater, and got the Jandy. We had an issue with the installation because it wasn’t jiving with the control panel. But the guy came back out and switched it around and it works fine now. It is now running efficiently.
Hello John,
Thank you for your feedback. Wishing you the perfect pool season.

I had the Jandy heater installed and I’m very happy with it. I did a lot of research before I bought the heater, and it was rated way up there. I picked it and it's great quality. The performance of the equipment is fantastic and it's also really easy working with it.
Hello Andrew,
Thank you for your review. We're happy to hear that you're enjoying your new heater.

Jandy Pro Series
Our pool company carried Jandy Pro and the pump seems to be working absolutely excellent. The quality is in line with the cost. But I would love a better usability on my AquaLink 2.0 Web Connect. It's not as homeowner-friendly. It's more you can turn it on and off from a homeowner, but you can't control the variable speed pumps as easy from the app. You gotta go to the web, which is another click, and then you go into it. And it comes up into another screen, and then you have to click into that. Like for instance, if I wanted to put more power to the variable speed pumps or less it's a little more challenging.
I also have the Jandy lights and they're awesome. I just would have one thing to say about it -- that you get the choices of a bunch of colors, and then it comes down to Slow Color Splash, Fast Color Splash, USA, Fat Tuesday and Disco Tech and there's colors within those that they don't have as an option to choose from. I can choose alpine white, but there's like a red in the color splash that I can't choose. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend the product. It's great.
Bruce,
Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback for both the Aqualink System and the Jandy lights. We will forward your insights to the appropriate department for future product development.

I bought the new Aqualink Upgrade Kit from Jandy Pro since I like things convenient. The cost is a little bit too high ‘cause I paid almost $2,300 for labor and parts to upgrade to this. I also had it done on another house, a brand-new one, and they charged me $2,300. Plus there’s a bug in the app. Every time you try to add it, it jumps out to the screen saying, “Trying to make a connection,” and it does that forever. Everything else is working fine, though.
Hello Alex,

Our electric fire heater went out, so we had to get it replaced and Jandy Pro was recommended through W.L. Hastey, who does the plumbing for us. We got it put in but two weeks later, the compressor went out and that didn’t speak very well for Jandy. So, we were not happy but they did replace it under warranty. Then, we were without a pool heater for over three weeks after we had just paid money to get a new one put in. It took them 10 days to send somebody out and then, they had to order it. So, we were very upset and wanted to go with another brand but they told us we couldn’t. We would never use Jandy again.

Jandy Pro Series
I purchased my Jandy Pro equipment through a pool supplier and they put it in, so it was awesome. The installation guy did a great job. As a matter of fact, there's a guy that cleans pools in our neighborhood and he came by and said that it's just top-of-the-line. Everything was done really well, and he had nothing to do with the company that installed it. I didn’t really know what I was buying. But I got lucky and went with a great pool company and they chose Jandy. The equipment is the heart of the pool and it’s very quiet and runs well. It's also easy to manage that link thing. I have nothing but good things to say about it. I would recommend them.
I had an easy experience purchasing and ordering from Jandy Pro. I got a blower and I've been liking the product since. I was all set up on my phone and it has been performing great in my pool.
Hello Diane,
We're happy to hear that all is going great with your new equipment.

My pool company recommended Jandy's products to me. Since getting my booster pump that was made by Colonial, it has been fine. It works.
My old web device died and my pool professional recommended Jandy to me. I got a new one and my professional install it. The device has been pretty good. I've found that on when I use my web device my phone, it takes a long time to reset and change things. However, when I do it on my computer, it's lickety-split. So far, I'm satisfied and I'm very happy with it.

I wanted an upgrade and my pool guy recommended Jandy Pro. He installed the Connect Device-Antenna Only and he did everything. Since it was installed, the pool has been good.
I bought the iAqualink 2.0 Web connect device which is a brand-new system from Jandy Pro. The equipment is mounted on the steel wall of the house and the temperature sensor is mounted underneath the Jandy box. That sensor is right near the wall of the home, so in hot weather, what the sensor picks up is the temperature of the wall of the house, which is really warm. So, it's totally inaccurate in terms of the outside temperature of my pool water. It’s not what the pool installer explained to me. The sensor isn't meant to sense the warm weather. It's meant to sense if it got too cold where some kind of intervention would have to be filled to make sure the pool water didn’t freeze. So, that's more of a consumer education thing. Other than that, it's terrific. We don’t have to touch it. If all I have to worry about is the way it's functioning, that's what I want. It has been doing exactly what we need it to do although the Wi-Fi pick up is a little weak.

I needed pool equipment because there was a part that failed. Originally, the pool company that built my pool recommended Jandy. I got the iAqualink 2.0 and installed it myself. It was simple enough. It's easy to work with the product and the product is performing perfectly. If I have any issue, I call the helpline and my experience was very good. I liked Jandy's stuff. I've had a couple of failures, but those have been over. Jandy had the little remote control that wasn’t very good at all. That lasted for a year. I was not at all satisfied for that feature, but then I switched over to the smartphone when I eliminated that and everything's been good since then.
Hello Jack,
Thank you for taking the time to review your Jandy and AquaLink products. We appreciate your insights and wish you a happy swim season.

After only 9 months of use this heater completely failed and was not repairable... Service people said it was damaged by chemicals in the water. However my pool company measures the ph in my pool every week and follows the test kit and chart exactly. Expensive heater that worked great but only for 9 months.

The motor of my other pool pump burned up, so the guy from Perfect Pool came out and he recommended that I get the Jandy Pool System. He said that I would get a rebate with the purchase, so that was the main reason why I said okay and got it. Our pool guy installed it for me. Since it was installed in my pool, the product has performed pretty well. I just cleaned the filters out the other day for the first time. It wasn’t that hard, but I am finding it a bit confusing at times since it’s all electric and computerized. The cost was kinda high, but the quality is gonna be there. I have a book that talks about how to operate the pump. It isn’t perfectly clear, but so far I haven’t had to call anybody at customer service yet.

Jandy is my current pool equipment manufacturer. It seems to have given the previous owners 20 years of good service. We purchased the underwater lights as we were replacing a 20-year-old fiber-optic system. It was a very easy job for the pool technician. They thread right into the existing fittings. They unscrew the old fiber-optic line and screw in these guys. It has been working perfectly since. We’ve only had it a few months. We have been told that that model has been a systemic problem from Jandy, that the lights tend to overheat and burn out so we registered them under their warranty program. They said that’s very important because there’s a high failure rate on those light. We didn’t know that at the time I ordered.
I found out through my pool installers, who have done lots of these, that this was an older model Jandy was trying to get rid of because they had so many problems with it. Had I known that, I would’ve bought a newer model and paid a little extra. Then again, they might perform for a long time. But I would see how good the warranty is. That will really determine what I think of Jandy in the future. I made an inquiry regarding my propane heating system. They got back to me, and what they gave wasn’t the answer anybody was looking for. But at least they gave me an honest answer.

My pool guy purchased my Jandy blower for my new property. I've found the cost and the quality of the item to be good. It has made my pool easier to maintain as well.
My pool heater was burned out and I had my pool professionals put a Jandy model in. So far, the product has been fine when I use it.

We had our pool renovated so we got a new Jandy Pro Series control system, a heater and a blower and added a spa to the pool as well. We wanted a system that comes with its own remote so we got an AquaLink 2.0 and we had actually asked for the remote that comes with the system. Our concern was if we have to do it with our phones and if we have to update our phones at some point, then I'd rather have a hardwired remote. But our pool professional who did the installation said that that's not a thing anymore and that it has to be through the app. Then we had a little bit of difficulty with the heater control and it wasn't controlling it through the phone. We could not get the heater to turn on. So, our guy had to have someone else come out and do some sort of setup, and then it worked fine. It wasn't originally enabled but we're all done with it now and it works well through the app. We're happy with the Jandy system.

I needed the Jandy equipment ‘cause I have the hot tub. I got the AquaLink and it is good. Everything is working the way it should be. And for the price, it's a little bit higher than all the other brands that I know out there, but the quality is better. I also love the website navigation and the purchasing experience. Everything is synchronized and I could do it from my iPhone.

I'm a pool professional and I needed a pool equipment to update an old equipment. The Jandy product is good. I’m always on my phone looking at it. I think it controls me. I installed it myself and it was easy. Jandy is fine.

The iAquaLink Web Connect Device from Jandy Pro seems to be working fine. The quality is what I was expecting.
We were going on vacation, came back and our filter wasn't working. Our pool guy came out many times, took pictures and got a hold of Jandy Pro's people who could help him and know what to do. He was trying to figure out whether to put in the same thing that we had or go with something else. He put in what we had and we didn't have to redo our panel. With what he put in, it runs slower and it seems to be better as far as energy. He has it on for quite a while, but he's telling us that it will save energy, and I can still track it on my phone. I'm very satisfied.

Champion Pools did a complete pool installation in the new house from beginning to end. I'm very familiar with Hayward products because I was a pool owner before, but Champion uses Jandy and they said it's far more superior to Hayward. The technicians that came out to install the hardware had no issues and everything is working well. I can see that the quality is a lot better from the way the filter housing is. It's very simple and easy to remove.
Hello Joseph,
Thank you for your feedback. We want to wish you a happy swim season.

My old filter was not working and I needed a new one. My pool man did it all. The pool has been working and looking good since the filter was installed. I’m very satisfied with Jandy Pro.

Our former motherboard fried and our pool guy recommended the board he put in which was from Jandy. So, we got that one. Our pool has been functioning properly since then. It's cleaning and doing what it's supposed to do. Jandy products are good, and their reps were great. It was really easy to get a hold of them.
Hello Tom,
We are happy to hear that you're enjoying the ease of using your new system.

The panel shorted out on the AquaLink and my pool professional purchased a pool service repair from Jandy. It's been good so far but I've got something else going on with the heater which wasn't working for the spa. It was on but something wasn't circulating through it and the water wasn't getting hot. I had an issue where it lost connection and I didn't know why, but the service guy walked me through it. It was last weekend and almost after hours but he walked me through the whole thing and got the heater back to working. I was really appreciative of him getting me through all that and that was great.

I spent several months worth of time and effort and resources trying to get the pool equipment back up to work. Every time I had it worked on, it would work for one or two times and then it would quit again. So I decided I needed to replace it rather than continuing putting parts in it. I went shopping and the people that did the repairs recommended the Jandy equipment. I had it installed by a Jandy distributor and installation company. The pool heater seems to be working for what it is designed to do. I turn it on and it just takes 35 seconds and then it kicks in. I highly recommend Jandy in my area.
Hello Sam,
Thank you for your feedback and thank you for recommending us to others. Wishing a fantastic swim season.

I had to replace my original pool pump which was making a high pitched squealing noise. My pool professional recommended the Jandy Pro variable-speed pump so I got one. Their reps were able to address my questions and concerns with my first pump. The installation of the new one was smooth and the quality of the product is pretty good. Since I got the new pump, it has been easy to use and maintain.
Hello Carl,
We are happy to hear that you're enjoying your new variable-speed pump.

When my skimmer pump died on me, I purchased a Jandy product from an installer. The price was reasonable compared to what the other ones were. Plus, I got a $200 rebate. It also has the single wireless compatibility. But it is not universal with other controllers. Maybe Jandy can make it more functional with something else to control it rather than one device. My only problem is that I can’t turn on the heat pump at the same time. It’s a different brand. That aside, everything has been working well. The installation had been pretty easy too.

My other Jandy Pro went bad so I bought another one. I just relied on my knowledgeable pool guy. He upsized the pump so I'm pleased. So far, everything's fine. The new one is still working since its installation and it seems to have done a better job.
The pool builder suggested getting a salt water chlorinator and a few other parts like filters from Jandy Pro. They also had a two-year warranty and it was better than other companies, so I went with them. The pool builder did all the installation and the cost of the equipment was packaged into the building. So far, everything's doing really good. I have the Jandy Pro products for only a few months but I'm happy.
My pool guy purchased a Jandy Pro for me and comes in every other week, so he has a handle on it. The equipment cost was fair and it kept my pool clean. My experience with Jandy Pro has been good so far.
Our pool equipment was outdated and it was recommended by the pool mechanic that we have or we use when we have issues that we needed a new one. We purchased the PlusHP Variable-Speed Pump, the saltwater chlorinator, and the cartridge filter from Jandy and had our pool professional install them. But I'm having issues with one of the filters or the pumps. I go to adjust it because it's only really adjustable through the app and it loses connection constantly. I should be able to change it, turn it, or shut it off from anywhere but it drops connection and I can't. Other than that, I'm extremely pleased with everything we've purchased. The pool is basically maintenance-free. I'm not happy with being able to control the equipment but I would still recommend Jandy.

The pool heater is perfect. It took a long time to finally get it installed because the hook up to the gas was complicated. We needed some specialist for the gas and we waited for a month before we got it hooked up. But the installation was great. The two guys came and they took an hour to install. The Jandy Pro equipment is working good. We are happy with it.
I purchased a new pump for my pool from Jandy Pro Series to replace another one. I had a good experience when I purchased the equipment. The service representatives were good, informative and helpful. The product was installed by a pool professional, but I do the maintenance on it and it is easy to maintain. The quality of the product is good and it has been working fine.

We wanted the convenience of automating our pool and spa, so we purchased a pool automation system from Jandy Pro Series. We were thinking of a different system, but the pool professionals recommended Jandy. They thought that the Jandy system was way more convenient and easy to use, and had a smaller footprint too. Then we had Jandy install it for us. The installation went smoothly and everything worked. The installer was extremely thorough and persistent. We were trying to run a wire to our light and he took his time. We thought that was not gonna work as we had a conduit going under our flagstone, but he persisted and was successful.
The product has been performing perfectly since it was installed and we hope it continues that way. It has made the pool maintenance a lot more convenient. It just requires the touch of a button. Before, we used to have to go and physically change some bulbs in order to turn on our spa. But now, if we have guests in our home, they just use the app to turn on the spa, so it has streamlined things in our life and it is easy to be automated.

I bought a new variable speed pump from Jandy. And I also got the interface from them which was an upgrade over what I had before. To have it partially mechanized is helpful. It's affordable for what it can accomplish and it's running well. I enjoy the interface. It is helpful and I think in a warmer weather, it'll be more helpful. Moreover, the pump is fantastic. I'm really enjoying taking care of the pool with that. I'm very pleased with Jandy. I spoke with their technical people before choosing the pump, and they were very helpful.
I've always had Jandy products, and everything works as it is supposed to. We do not have any big surprises with it so far. One downfall is that we switched out our systems from the salt system to a regular chlorine system because the one from Jandy was not the best. Other than than, we recently bought a Jandy pump as a replacement for the original pump that we had, and the process was simple. We went with like for like. I dealt with a very reputable pool company here in The Woodlands whom I've been dealing with for a few years.
My pool guy installed the Medium FloPro Pump from Jandy and it's a nice-looking product. The strainer opening seems a little difficult to put on and off compared to my other one. With my other one, I was supposed to put Vaseline on the O-ring and I put Vaseline on this one but it didn't seem to help too much. Also, they're all too expensive. I went years with my Sta-Rite Pump. Just having it rebuilt every couple of years and that lasted 30 years. You're always having the motor redone. It's gonna take a long time for this one to prove itself as good as the Sta-Rite but so far, so good. I would recommend Jandy.

I purchased the pool heater and the VersaFlo Bypass System from Jandy. I looked into it myself and chose Jandy because of the price, ratings, and reviews. I had the products installed by a professional and they have been working great. Also, the quality was good for the price, especially with who I got it from. I'm happy with the purchase.

We had a Jandy control panel previously and after about five years, we couldn't read the screen anymore. So we got another one and it's working fine. It's simple to use. So, we're very happy. The quality has been very good so far. Hopefully it lasts longer than the other one.

I got an AquaLink 2.0 upgrade kit from Jandy product. I've also put in a pump. I had a system in there before and I upgraded it to be able to use it remotely, which was helpful for me because I live in Georgia. I have a few residences, so I can control it from afar. Using the Jandy product has an energy impact. I have a camera on the swimming pool, and when I noticed the pool was running, I was able to quickly go into the Jandy product and turn off the pool. It allows me to save a little bit on power. I had a little bit of problem getting it programmed exactly what I wanted because of the user interface and some quirky things with the system. Some of the things were not as intuitive as I would like but I was able to get the help I needed, and they were quickly back on track. There's always opportunities to improve the technology and the user interface a little bit, but overall, I like the technology.

My pool needed a blower and the pool guy that I called to figure out why my jets weren't working the way they should.recommended the Jandy Pro Series product. I had the part installed professionally and the installation took an hour. I've had the blower installed for a couple of months and everything is working perfectly so far. Although I've only used it a few times, it seems to be doing what it was installed to do. I do the maintenance on my pool and come into contact with the Jandy products regularly. My experience with the Jandy pool equipment has been fine.
We built a brand-new pool and we selected certain features, and Jandy is the pool builder's preferred vendor. They purchased and installed the products. It’s part of our package. The installation of everything was straightforward for the most part, it’s . There were a couple of things that I would change that I really don’t like about the Jandy equipment specifically in the way it’s plumbed. I really do not like that when I go to empty the main screener basket that’s right before the pump itself, it siphons all the water back out unless I quickly take the basket out and quickly get the lid back on. Also, I have to go through a whole manual priming exercise to suck the water back into the pool in my hot tub. So, there should be something that stops that when there’s no pressure on the line when the pump is not running. It’s a frustrating experience. Other than that, everything seems to be fine. It’s quiet and does its job.

When we bought the house, the pool filter we had was too small for the size of the pool. When we renovated, we got the Jandy Pro Series filter which was a little larger than what we had. I looked it up myself and found that the company has been around for a while. It also seemed like they would do the job for us, and they did. So far it's been so good and the pool looks pretty. It's clear, clean and inviting. We got our pool inspected today by the city inspector and everything seemed to be running fine. It's also good to know that the option of reaching out to them should an issue arise is out there and there would be no reason not to recommend them.
My heater went out and I had to buy a new one. I got a Jandy Pro Series JXi Pool Heater 400 Natural, and it is too expensive but it has been performing very well. So far, so good.
I purchased the Jandy Pro Series JXI pool heater and some varmint got in there and destroyed it. Now we have a new one, and hopefully this is more varmint-proof than the previous heater.
We bought a house with a 32000 gallon pool. We had to replace one of two pumps and on recommendation went with the Jandy Pro Series variable speed pump. Awesome purchase as it controls the Waterfall and other cleaning jets nicely. We had Hayward equipment that was aging and decided to replace them as well with the Jandy Aqualink RS Purelink control panel and Aquapure R0452400 salt cell. The salt cell quit working and had to be replaced after about 13 months, literally 1 month past the warranty. I bought another and now 15 months later it too is not working. At least that seems to be the issue.
The pool service tech let me know that the motherboard is also not functioning properly as it will not read air temp and randomly turns the system on and off throughout the day and night. I've tried repeatedly to get assistance from the Jandy Customer service numbers posted on my equipment and online without success. The one time I did get through I was informed that I'd have to pay out of pocket for a service call for a system I've repeatedly had issues with due to equipment quality issues. I have spent literally close to 9000.00 in two years on this system. Other sites reviews have cited similar issues to mine with no resolution from Jandy but to spend more money. At this time I cannot recommend Jandy to my friends or anyone else who may be interested in a salt system. When it worked it was great but poor customer service and equipment make purchasing from them a very bad idea.

We'd just put in a new in-ground pool, and I heard a lot of people say that Jandy was a really good product. I have all of their products, including two pumps and two filters. We’ve had problems with our hot tub filter not feeling right. I ordered a new one, and we just put it in last night. We woke up this morning and the hot tub was completely empty. So, we’re in the process of refilling it to see what the deal is. Everything else has been really good.
I purchased the iAquaLink 2.0 web connect device from Jandy. I really liked the idea that I'd be able to control my pool equipment from a remote location. If I want to get in the hot tub on the way home, all I have to do is get on the app and turn it on. I would recommend Jandy.
We called a pool company and they ordered a Jandy Pro Series pool heater. I paid them for it and they put it in. We use it and it's been operating and performing fabulously well for us.
I purchased the iAquaLink 2.0 upgrade kit from Jandy as I needed to replace the old equipment. Right now, I’m a little bit disappointed with it. I’ve had it for about a month and I’ve had some problems with the remote, and they’re working on it right now.

We just put a brand-new pool in and our pool company got us the Jandy Pro series equipment. I'm using the equipment myself and I would tell a friend to go for it.
I got a pool and it had been recommended that I get the Jandy Pro Series app. I and my husband have been using it a little bit and we're happy about it.
Somebody stole my Pentair variable speed pump so I had to get a new one. I read the review on Jandy and that was one of the reasons I bought it. Plus I had so much invested in Jandy anyway. I thought the system would work better if I had a Jandy variable speed pump. Despite the communication table that came with the Pentair, it still didn't communicate well with the Jandy controller system. It was sort of makeshift. It was the bare minimum and if you wanted to adjust the speed, you would have to do it by hand.
I had a pool guy do the installation and I like the new heat pump that I have. It uses a surprisingly small amount of electricity. Even in comparing its rpm with my old Pentair pump's, the new one uses half the energy. The only thing I don’t like is that I can't set the rpm like I could for my Pentair pump. I guess it’s not really a smart pump. It does whatever it’s told but it can’t program itself or any other pieces of equipment. But I think you can run several other pumps and program it that way.
I recommended the Jandy pump to the pool guy and he recommended the salt cell because it was quite expensive. I didn’t wanna get anything overly complicated or expensive. I had a Goldline one where I had a panel and I could actually adjust the salt concentration and do a lot of programming. But I don’t really need that much control over the salt. So I got the basic one and it seems to work well. I was hoping though that because I had all Jandy equipment now, there might be more information conveyed with the salt cell but there really isn’t.
The only way to run it is to manually set how long you want it to run and then everything else is pretty automatic. My controls don’t tell me what’s going on, like whether it’s running or not. I have to go there and look at it manually to see what’s going on. I have the iAquaLink so I can do a lot of things with my phone remotely. But I can’t do anything in regard to the salt cell. Nonetheless, I’m real happy with that salt cell. The only thing is that there seems to be an issue with the controller inside my house and the iAquaLink. They don't communicate well. When I set things with the iAquaLink, it doesn’t get reflected very well on the controller inside my house. It would tell me that the pump is not running on the inside of my house even though I know it is. I can see it running on my iAquaLink or I can walk up to it.
Another thing is that there should be some one-touch settings, which is a nice feature. The house is a vacation rental and when left alone, the renters would push every button they can possibly find. They would keep pushing it until everything is completely screwed up. They do that then they would call me and ask me to fix it. Nonetheless, the Jandy products have made the pool maintenance easier especially with the iAquaLink because I live about two hours away. I can’t be there all the time to turn it on, program it or do whatever I need to do. The iAquaLink helps me do everything remotely.

I bought a pool system from Jandy, specifically the Saltwater Chlorinator. I had an old Jandy system and I like that system so I also got the new system from them. I installed it by myself and it was very easy. The chlorinator is really good, and it’s working 100% right now. Their customer service is good too. I called one time about some issues with my system and they helped me to fix my problem. They didn’t have to send any technician so it was pretty good.
I called the pool service South Pinellas and I told them what I wanted. I was getting sand from the other one, and the guy that cleans the pool suggested that the cartridge will be better than the sand. Jandy Pro was what they showed me. I then purchased a Jandy CS100 cartridge filter and it was very nice. Since they installed it, my pool has been spotless all the time. They do a very good job. I’m very happy with the filter and I am satisfied with it. I would recommend it.
I had a 20-year-old heater that finally went out and it was gonna be pretty costly to fix so I opted to get a new one. I had quotes and opinions from a number of different pool professionals in the area, and selected Jandy Pro heater through them. The quality of the heater has been pretty good. It heats faster and uses less gas than the one that was in there before. One suggestion I have though is that on the flip-up cover that covers the controls, I noticed that when it rains, that moisture still gets inside there, so if there’s any way that that could be modified or improved in the future, I’m sure that would help. I opted to just get a small grill cover, and I keep it covered when not in use just to prevent any moisture getting inside of the electronic control panels.
The old pump of my pool was not working, so I had to purchase a new pump. I got the Jandy VS FloPro and it works great. I’m happy with it. The quality of the water is better. I run the pump longer, so it’s getting better filtration. Jandy got a good product and if my friends would ask about them I would tell them to buy their product.
After my old filter failed I got the Jandy FloPro pump. I only had it in for two weeks before I closed the pool and everything was fine. The cost was higher than I thought, so I hope it'll work out well.
Our old pool filter was 20 years old and we needed a new one put in, so I called our pool person. The pool people came and put in a Jandy Pro Series pool filter. It was the same as the old one there that they replaced. The quality of the new pool filter that we received is good and it is working fine. Its cost is good as well. Since the installation of our new filter, our pool been performing very well.
We bought a new pool and it came with Jandy equipment. We have the Jandy FloPro Variable Speed Pump, Jandy TruClear Saltwater Chlorinator, spa heater and a cartridge filter. It was a great installation and it got done a month before I had to close for the winter. I've used it for about a month and so far, the quality is great. It's nice and quiet. I had to set the chlorine level that I wanted and also adjust the speed every once in a while. We've also got a heater so we'll probably open the pool up a month or two earlier than everybody else. We can heat it up and keep using it for those two months.
Jandy has always been great on my equipment. I originally had Jandy so I just stayed with them. I had my pump a little over a year when it quit working, so my warranty wasn’t good on it. It should have lasted much longer than that. If this new equipment goes out again, I might consider a different product, because it shouldn’t have gone out in a year.

I had a new pool installed at my new residence, and the pool company dealt with Jandy. I had Jandy equipment in my old home as well so I'm very familiar with them, and they do a great job. The price at Jandy is very competitive, and I'm very happy with that. Their technical support is awesome because I called when I had a couple issues with the AquaLink system. They helped me and walked me through it, so they’re really good. They produce a great product with great tech support. Jandy is definitely the way to go as far as pool equipment goes. I’m loyal to them.
I purchased a Jandy TruClear Saltwater Chlorinator based on the installer’s recommendation. I’m happy with the installation and the operation. It’s working as advertised and it has simplified my pool maintenance, so it’s great.
Our pool builder had JandyFloPro installed and the product has been performing good. The only thing I can’t figure out is what’s the amperage draw on the low speed versus the high speed. Other than that, I haven't had any issues and the equipment is working good.
The company I went with only uses their product, and the pool professional sold me on it. He showed me how good it worked, so I went with that. Plus, I’m already using the Jandy pool pump. We've used it a few times already, and I spend a lot on gas. But, other than that, my Jandy Pro works well.
I did some research on pool pumps and looked around. I went to a store and asked them what was good. I saw Jandy Pro Series PlusHP variable speed pump on display and the salesperson said it was quiet. Plus, the cost was good on it and it had a good warranty. I got it and had the pool person come to install it. However, it was a real pain to get set it up. The Wi-Fi doesn't work like how it's supposed to. Other than that, I'm satisfied with the pump. It is quiet, does the job and works great.
Hi Derek, Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear that you are enjoying your new variable speed pump, and we're sorry you're experiencing issues with the WiFi connection. We'd like to speak with you to learn more about your experience. We will have a representative reach out to you - Jandy Pro Series
My contractor helped me purchase a pool and spa heater from Jandy. I don’t know anything about equipment and I wasn’t sure which one I was supposed to get. I looked at Jandy's website and it was user-friendly. I just didn’t know the difference between the products and what my pool required. The product arrived on time, and it works great. It heats faster than my old ones.
My pump just went out and I needed new pool equipment. It has been there for five years before I replaced it and I would have liked it to have lasted a little bit longer, but it is what it is. Same as the first one, we had the Jandy Pro installed by a pool professional. It has been there for less than a year and my husband does the maintenance.
I looked at 2 manufacturers and I chose Jandy based on what the Jandy does as well as the price point. I also went to about four different pool locations to make my decision and all of them had Jandy as part of their accessories. The one that I had prior was just a single-speed but now I got the FloPro Variable-Speed. The variable-speed gives me the ability to actually save money on our electrical bill. Based on the demonstrations that they showed me, the amount of electricity I would save over a few years makes up the difference in what I’m paying for the unit itself. It doesn't pay for itself because I still pay for it but from a cost standpoint, it made more sense to have that.
The pump was installed by a pool professional from where I get all my chemicals from and got a quote from. He asked me where I want the settings on and I asked him to give his recommendation. The pool is on for about eight to 10 hours a day. I set it up higher when I’m cleaning the pool, but we have a lanai, so it doesn’t require much cleaning. I like the performance of the pool pump and it’s a quiet and very efficient system. It made a strange noise the other day so I had someone come back out. But at this point, it’s been working out really well and I like it. I would recommend Jandy.
I just bought a new house and I had an old pump that was rebuilt. It was undersized so I got a new pump. I went through a local pool company and they recommended the Jandy Flo Pump. The pool company did the installation for me and they did it in one day. Since then, my pool is a lot better. They’ve changed the filter and the pump, you can actually see the water moving in the pool. You can feel more water has been pumped through it and I had much better pressure. I had about 3/4 horsepower and my filter was for a mini pool. So the filter is twice the size and you can see where the water’s coming back into the pool. You can see the ripple, the currents, so that’s good. It made a big difference. So far, it looks fine and it works great.
I haven’t been swimming in my pool for 10 years. I redid the concrete finish, put in a new finish on it to put in all new equipment. I never had a heater before and I wanted to put in a heater this time so I could swim around without any problem. When I checked online, I found that a lot of people liked Jandy the best and rated it the highest. So, I picked the Jandy and I got the filter, pump and heater. It worked good for a couple of months. Apparently, a switch went bad inside it and they’re gonna replace it next Wednesday since it’s under warranty. Out of a four-hour period, the heater comes on for about 25 minutes on an average. So, it seems it does a good job and I can turn the heater up a bit more than I can get with my dehumidifier.
I was fine-tuning everything and I’m playing with some of the settings. I bought the variable speed pump to be able to run it at a slower speed sometimes. But the problem with the heater was that it wasn’t getting enough flow. If I have to run it at full speed all the time, that defeated the purpose of the variable speed motor, although it’s a more efficient pump. So far, everything has been good.
I had my pool pump replaced with a Stealth pump from Jandy. Stewarts Plumbing installed the replacement pump initially, and they tested it because they were waiting for the PVC plumbing to cure. They said to let it go for 24 hours, and when I turned it on, the motor arced and smoked, so I shut it right off. Another Jandy dealer came out, replaced the pump with the exact same thing, and reinstalled the whole thing. He did a good job and I didn't have any trouble.
The pump seemed to work fine while I was using the pool. The Stealth pump seems to be a nicer unit than what I had installed originally. It has a larger capacity. There was quite a while that I had to run the pool for 12 or 14 hours a day to make sure it didn't freeze, and it didn't seem to have any problem running for that length of time.
Jandy's customer service was great. The dealer here is great as well. However, the product seemed faulty. We needed it to heat my pool. I had a good experience except I had the first year unit fail. The second unit that showed up was damaged. So, we couldn't put it in the third unit that we've got in here. It seems to be working okay except for it was making a racket the other day.
Hello John, We apologize for the past issues you experienced, and we would like to learn more about the noise you are now experiencing. We will have a technical support representative reach out to you. - Jandy Pro Series
The old heat pump that I had before was worn-out, so I purchased a Jandy Pro Series heat pump. I chose them in buying that item because of the pool company, Greenbrook Pools. I’ve gotten Jandy products for years. All of my pumps and AquaPure salt are their products. If I didn’t think that the quality of the Jandy products that I purchased were good, I wouldn’t have bought the last item, the heat pump, from them. Everything went fine with its installation. Everything is working as it is supposed to. Just follow the instructions. Everything has been good in my experience with Jandy and I’m very pleased.
We got a heater, filter, salt, and another bypass from Jandy. I registered all four of them and we also got the three-year warranty on them. The products have been performing great so far.
I was doing a retrofit of a regular vinyl pool and the dealer that I used, Skipper Pools, recommended to purchase a salt water chlorinator. So, I bought one through them and it was a Jandy Pro product. Skipper Pools installed it and I have it now for close to three months. Also, I went to Jandy Pro's website and downloaded the booklet to see how it worked. The information was very good and so far, the product has really reduced the pool's maintenance. It took a lot to get used to it and I'm still not quite there completely, but I like it and I'm pleased with it. We're in Montgomery, Alabama and it occasionally freezes. That was kind of interesting because the thing just turns off and reads stand by or something like that. Other than that, it's working well and I appreciate their product. It's good stuff.
I've had pools in the past that I had the Jandy equipment, and I was real pleased with it. So, when I went to start my pool builder company, I knew I wanted this equipment. So, I started researching, and I did a lot of stuff on YouTube and Google, and just talking to different pool contractors. I got in touch with SCP, and they sold me all the equipment. I had to set up the account, and then I got in touch with a Jandy equipment installer. So, he came and installed all my equipment, and we went through the system a little bit. I'm real happy with all of my equipment. This was the first pool that I built, and everything is Jandy.
We did the 30 days where I'm still not running my salt yet because I wanted to get all of the sand and the decking done, and the irrigation, the trees and landscaping all around. It's taking me a little bit longer because I'm building this pool, and I have other jobs going on. They're about to finish the decking on the pool, and once they get that done, we're gonna clean everything, and then I'll have the guy that installed all the equipment for me to come back, and we're gonna go over everything again. He's gonna activate the salt cell system. I'm real happy all the equipment works. It all works off my phone, the apps, lights, the heater, the hot tub, and the blowers.
They have the AquaLink app which links everything up, so you can work all of the Jandy equipment from your phone. I was really impressed with all the equipment. I would definitely highly recommend it. It has pretty good warranties on all the equipments. The Jandy service guy that installed it is a certified technician, so I got an additional year of warranty. I got a three-year warranty all in all, and I'm real happy with everything.

I needed a new heater for the pool jacuzzi. I went to the local pool place that I use that takes care of all the work on my pool. They recommended Jandy, and then they came and installed Jandy JXi Pool & Spa Heater. It seems to work fine. But I was supposed to get a rebate from from Jandy. I went to the website and signed up for it, but I haven't gotten it.
Our pool company uses Jandy only as they love their products, and we went by what they said. We did the installation of the chlorinator at the end of the summer, and I also had a liner and a new cover. We're new to the whole pool thing and we're trying to get used to it, but it's been working so far. I'm pretty satisfied.
We got a new pool installed, and Jandy Pro was one of the pieces of equipment that the pool company doing the installation included with our package. We had a warranty issue where our pump died on us after just a year. I turned it off to clean out the filters, and I went to put the filters back in and turn it back on, and it didn't turn on. Unfortunately, it was over a long weekend so our pool was going green and we had to get another pump. We called the pool company and they had an electrician that installed Jandy for them. For us, it was a warranty claim but I don't know if they ended up submitting it as a warranty or not. We couldn't wait because our pool was going green, and they said that sometimes Jandy warranties can take a long time. It was only two years and I was surprised the pump went so quickly, but hopefully it was just a fluke.
We have a new pool and it needed everything, so we recently purchased a cartridge filter, heater, and blower from Jandy. They were recommended by the pool builder who did the installation as well. I’ve seen some of his other work and he uses Jandy quite a bit. The pool parts that we purchased have been working fine since they’ve been installed. I went online and, aside from Jandy's reviews, I also looked at the information videos on how the equipment works and these have been very useful. It has only been a month since we purchased from Jandy, but everything has been good.
I was building a pool and I wanted the cartridge filter, the heat pumps, and the variable speed pumps. I looked around and most people reviewed Jandy Pro Series highly. Everybody uses the Jandy iQ for their automation, even if they use Pentair or any of the other products. When I bought the iQ20, I decided that I should get products made by the same manufacturer. If I was gonna spend money for all these items and everybody’s stuff was similarly priced, then I was gonna get them all from the same company.
I paid someone to install the products, but I should have installed them myself, and I might have done a better job. Initially, they were set up incorrectly and that took a long time to rectify because the installers were not knowledgeable about how things are supposed to work and their pool guys were far from technologically savvy. The pumps, filters and all that stuff are basically plumbing, so there are not a lot of the best and the brightest there. When it comes to setting up the automation, getting everything configured, and doing all the extra work, most of those guys just wanna show up and leave.
They didn’t wanna spend a lot of time configuring, so I had to spend a substantial amount of time fine-tuning all the different parts that I purchased to get everything to work. They installed the heat pump, but never configured it, so it was wired incorrectly. The heat pump needs to be wired to the controller on the RS board, but they wired it with two wires, so it never detected what it should have. It just came on and I had to control it with the manual console and couldn’t control it with the web app. I had to do the research and figure all that out. Had I known then what I know now, I would have set all that stuff up on my own and done the whole job myself. That would have been easy for me, even if might not be so for the average homeowner.
There were some things that I didn’t like. Although the quality on the surface, such as that of the variable pump, is impressive, the quality of the heat pump chiller is lacking in a couple of areas. For instance, the plastic screen that protects the fins on the outside easily cracks. Also, the heater chiller was difficult to move with the way it was shipped. I needed four guys to move it to try not to bend any of the fins on the outside. It was not packed in a way that protects the outside of it and if people lean up against it, they would flatten out the whole bunch of fins.
Furthermore, in the packing of the heater chiller, they used a bunch of screws to hold it on, and my plumber, the guy who installed the heater chiller, lost some of the screws within an hour of taking it apart. In hooking it up and putting it back together, he lost a couple of screws. But when I called Jandy to get some screws and pieces, they didn’t have the part numbers for these and they didn't know what kind they are. I ended up having to take the heater chiller apart to figure out what the pieces are, then I ordered the screws and the washers online.
In addition, the Jandy app is terrible and they should hire a bunch of web developers to come up with something for that. They could build an app for the phone that’s for the iQ. For one thing, there are no pop-ups on the web interface that indicate where you are. Also, the help section is difficult to follow. When you’re in a window and it tells you to go somewhere, it gives an ambiguous name for an option and what to do in there is ambiguous as well. So, unless you know ahead of time what it is you’re supposed to be doing, you wouldn't know what you're supposed to be doing there and you can’t just intuitively walk around the app and set stuff up.
Moreover, the documentation that was created for that stuff has very little depth to it and the explanations in some places are incredibly thin. So, you’re no better off reading the documentation than just scrolling through the app and looking at something and trying to figure it out on your own. There’s a big problem with the app and the web interface. The Jandy products themselves, though, are fine once they’re configured appropriately.
The old unit had a cracked housing so it could not be repaired. Jandy Pro was recommended by the pool maintenance company that my home warranty company suggested. They installed the unit and though there wasn’t any problem with the unit itself, some of the connections that already exist in the pool equipment area had to be done twice. Everything works just fine according to the gentleman that takes care of the pool. As long as it works and no issues come up, I’m perfectly happy with it.
With the filter system I had before, it was such a hassle cleaning the filter that I decided to find something simpler that would do the job. I was at the pool place and they went over and explained some of the attributes of the Jandy Top Mount Sand Filter. I liked it and chose it. So far, it’s working great. It seems to get the water cleaner. Jandy uses glass instead of sand. I researched it and generally, if you just have sand in the filter, it doesn’t get your water as clean. But the glass works great. Jandy puts a little sand in the bottom and for the rest, they use glass. And the filter has been fantastic for the pool maintenance.
Our old filter, which was a 50, was leaking because of too much pressure from the size of the pool and the pump. So we had to upgrade and make it a 100-gallon filter. We have a tech who comes out for the pool semi-annually and he said that it would be better if we got the Jandy system. And the pool does looks cleaner now. I don’t have to clean the filter that much, and it's easy to put back on and take off. It's very simple to use and very affordable too.
We were replacing an older pump and when I talked to the pool maintenance people that we use, he provided a couple of different quotes. I ended up picking the Jandy VS FloPro Variable Speed Pump because it was value-balanced. It had a good price as well as good quality and feature. After that, the professionals did the installation in less than a couple of hours. It was quick. And they were fantastic so I’ll recommend them.
This pool pump usually would take few years to break in and it’s only been a couple of months. But right now, I’m very happy with it. It’s a very good product. It is very high quality and it has been performing perfectly. It even does a better job. It runs all the time so the water is always circulating and it stays a little cleaner. That’s the biggest advantage. I will occasionally reset the speeds because I can do that on my phone. I can adjust the speeds and power consumption.
Our pump was constantly running at a high speed and the computer on the inside of the motor went bad somehow. It didn’t make sense to get the pieces since it would cost more money as it was an older unit, so the whole thing had to be replaced and I preferred Jandy. I’ve worked for a pool company in the past, and they have always been reliable. We got the Jandy VS FloPro variable-speed pump, which is a little high-end, but it is very good quality. We have little to no pool maintenance and we save some money. If you want less work, less pain, and no thought about whether or not the unit is gonna work, then Jandy is the way to go because it works. It’s a bit more expensive but it’s worth it.
I had my old pump for a few years and when it failed, the pool technician recommended Jandy. He likes that company pump and he installed the Jandy FloPro medium-head pump. He also gave me a three-year warranty. When I registered it with the company though, the rep said it is a one-year warranty but the two more years, that is a total of three years warranty, may be given by some of these installers. One time, I heard some crunchy noise for a few seconds while the pump was operating. I don’t know what it was but it seems to be okay and my pool maintenance guy said it is working good. It is coming on and turning off on timer properly. This is a 1.5-horsepower and compared to my previous Hayward pump, this seems much more silent.
Dear Adinarayana, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Jandy FloPro medium-head pump with others. We're glad to know the pump is working reliably and that you were able to receive an extended warranty from your Jandy-dedicated dealer. We hope you enjoy your holiday season and wish you the perfect swim season next year. - Jandy Pro Series
I told the pool guy I needed a heater and he got me the Jandy Pool and Spa Heater. It made the pool warm when it was working but it broke quickly. However, I called and they sent me somebody under warranty to fix it. So I don’t have any complaint. It was great.
I called Jandy Pro to register the equipment that was installed by our pool manufacturer three years ago and find out who the local service provider was. Then, we purchased repair parts from Jandy and the their warranty service company repaired the equipment for us. It was covered by the warranty and we didn’t pay anything for it.
We've had a pool heater since the house was constructed and after 21 years, it gave out. A company that came out and installed the new Jandy heater as replacement was contacted for us and it was turnkey everything, but the product stopped performing within 45 days. We went back to the people who installed it, and they said they never see this with Jandy products, which are awesome. They couldn't take responsibility for it. Once in a while, there’s a dud, but they don’t think that was it and they looked for some other explanation, maybe it was a check valve, the chemicals or something else.
It’s been broken for six months and because our children are grown, it’s not a terrible thing that it hasn’t been working, except now the unit started leaking profusely. It’s flooding our yard as well as our neighbor’s, and we’re trying to get something done about it. I spoke with the pool servicing company and told them we don't use the system often. They offered to put another one in for a few thousand and it will come with a full warranty. That’s amazing but considering our unit died in 45 days, I’m not sure a two or three-year warranty is gonna help. This was perhaps the worst experience.
It's very unusual that the life expectancy of one of the Jandy products is three years. Then when you have to upgrade it, it is a substantial expense in terms of motherboards and other issues. I've had to upgrade mine about four times within a period of 10 years. People have come out and evaluated the system. And they have been very technically correct in terms of what I've needed to upgrade, why the system has not been functioning correctly and what price the upgrade would be. But in upgrading the product, I've had to change out multiple things, which is far more expensive than being trapped in the Jandy cycle of replacing parts every few years. So if I had to construct my pool over again, I would never do it with a Jandy product. I'm not a fan. It's like you're stuck with it. Instead, I'll spend a couple of grand and get some other total system.
The last time, I was actually going to dump Jandy but they came out with the plates that you have to acid wash to make the system work. Instead of $1,000, it was $340 and it is not replaceable. I guess they got the idea that people are not willing to have a 1,200-dollar expense to replace those things. So they got smart and decided to provide something that was more reasonable. As opposed to dumping the system, it's replaceable more competitively.
Dear John, Thank you for your feedback. We'd like to learn more about your experience to find out how we can help. One of our representatives will contact you within 24 hours to discuss your situation further. Highest Regards, Jandy Pro Series
We remodeled and our old equipment was several years old. We got the Jandy blower and the pool professional who installed it was responsible. The old unit failed and we had to replace it after about five months.
Dear Jeff, Thanks for your valuable feedback. We'd like to learn more about your Jandy blower experience and will be contacting you within 48 hours. Best, Jandy Pro Series
I purchased a new pump and 2 new valves, and I worked with a place called A Perfect Pool for the installation. They completely re-plumbed my pool system and the pool has been working great since. I’m real happy with it ‘cause I was fighting that pool for a year and I had a whole issue with the way it was plumbed. It was creating a back pressure. The guys who put it in were very professional and they had a great installer. We walked through it, ‘cause there are multiple ways they could’ve done it. We also had some limitations in terms of the equipment we could get ‘cause we only had a small area to put it in, so we couldn’t buy the big, giant pump. Overall, the installers did a good job.
Jandy Pro Series was recommended by our pool professional, so I bought from them for a replacement project. Our pool guys, later on, installed it, and they maintain it as well. The product is great.
Thanks for your positive review, Kelly! We appreciate your time and input. To the Perfect Swim, Jandy Pro Series
We got a new pool and our pool professional recommended Jandy and bought the equipment. The pump's high and low both work fine and our pool has been performing well since the equipment was installed. Everything is perfect.
