International Van Lines did a great job. The crew on both ends of my daughter's move were wonderful and well-prepared. They took their time and had things packaged up properly. It went really smoothly. The support people were also fantastic on the back end and helped me keep track of where the move was, and a definitive day that it would be arriving.

IVL refuses to pay for broken antique China. They refuse to call back when I leave messages and multiple emails to Karen and Daisja go unanswered. Pictures of my mothers' broken China were provided along with pictures of the crushed box. The pictures were taken in front of the foreman who took his own pics and video as it came off the truck. I would NOT recommend IVL to anyone as they gladly take your money but refuse to cover damages.

This company ruined my relocation, my summer, and my mental health. I had a heinous experience that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Initially, their sales team was the most responsive of any moving company I contacted. I asked Alex, their salesperson, point blank how long a move from north TX to north FL (a distance of ~900 miles) typically takes for IVL in July. The response? “Average is about a week” for “such an easy move.” Only after waiting *weeks and weeks after pickup* while my stuff sat in storage did I learn from someone else at IVL that their salespeople are NOT authorized to provide customers with a delivery window estimate. Given that it takes IVL weeks just to load the truck, this was a deceptive answer on Alex’s part, as he knew full well. I was deceived from the start into purchasing a move from what turned out to be the worst of all companies in an already shady industry.

International Van Lines was a poor choice, and I would never use again nor recommend them to anyone else. I gave them 2 stars because the loading team did a good job, but that is it. Several broken items were delivered, and not just wear and tear, it was carelessness, and there was a complete lack of urgency to hit their delivery window.

The experience from beginning to end was top notch! Having the stress of moving your entire life clear across several states is quite a challenge. I really didn't even know where to begin. The first phone call with customer service let me know that I made a great choice when they were able to immediately ease my worries and doubts and quickly answer any questions I had. To the packers, and then the movers, everyone was so professional and everything went as planned without a hitch. I will definitely be calling them again to assist me with any moves in the future.

I’ve moved more times than I could count in my years of living and every time I’ve had to do it it’s been a very uncomfortable experience until now. My friend suggested this company for two reason because of the ease and peace of mind this company gives as well as they didn’t want to keep helping me move because I have so much stuff. From the care that they’ve taken with my items to the amazing customer service down to them being ready to work was more than I could ever ask for. I wish I found this company soon but I’m glad I was told about it when I was and I don’t plan on using anyone else! Thank you for everything

Everything once moving day came was worse than I was led to believe. Several hours late, poor communication. It got worse. Communication upon delivery or lack thereof was prevalent from start to finish. Then promises not kept from there, including time/day my stuff would arrive. Worst of all they strung me along with several emails discussing an "amicable resolution" to all that I dealt with given money spent. Weeks later. Ignored. Nothing. Highly recommend using other companies. I have moved several times with hardly an issue until now.

First and foremost when I first had the idea moving out of state I didn’t know how I was going to execute that plan but I recently moved out of state of Michigan to Florida to be closer to my grandparents to take care of them during their recovery. I came across IVL (International Van Lines ) and spoke to a representative named Mike. He helped explaining the process thoroughly and when it was time for the big move the crew arrived early in uniform ready to go, I didn’t have to lift a finger and no property damage, I have moved and helped plenty of times in my life and by far this is the best experience ever. I will recommend these guys to any and everyone.

As exciting as it is to move and start a new chapter in life. It can be stressful but it doesn't have to be. International Van lines can give you that peace of mind. They are trustworthy and really do care! After another company canceled my transport just two days prior, I found IVL online and could not have been happier with their services. I bought a new SUV at a dealership in TX and they shipped it straight to my house. The days of flying there and driving it all the way back are over folks! They even offered me a discount through my dealership. Fast, painless and priced competitively. Would do it all over again. Highly recommend and I will definitely be using their services if I need to move as well.

I submitted an inquiry and the rep from International Van Lines gave me a call quickly. Everything was smooth as silk in the administration of the move. We moved from Illinois to New York and they provided packing services, which was great. The only thing is, other consumers should be wary of packing services because they tend to overpack and then, they charge by cubic foot. Towards the end of our move, we had done all this estimating and then all of a sudden, they couldn’t take things without charging me an additional $1,400. If they packed the boxes better, we wouldn't have gotten 700 cubic feet over what we needed. But the crew was lovely. Consumers to be aware though that when you're doing a cross-country move, you'll be in contact with your driver, but the crew at the destination is usually a third party. Still, IVL was efficient and communicative. They were there from beginning to end, so it’s great. People should go for it.

I needed to move and was looking for a good moving company to get me from state to state. That's when I came across International Van Lines. They were excellent movers. Not only were they at my place at the time they said they would be they all looked very professional in their uniforms and did an amazing job making sure none of my belongings were damaged. When I got to my new address my things were there exactly when they said they would be and nothing was lost or damaged. I've moved a few times and have had multiple experiences with movers and this was the best one I've ever had. I would definitely recommend them to a friend and use them in the future. I am a native of Phoenix, Arizona, and whenever I need a reliable moving source I contact this company. I heard about this company through word of mouth. I also checked the reviews and seeing that they were so good, I had no choice but to check it out for myself. The reviews definitely weren’t a false advertisement. The fact the company is super easy to contact in case of an issue or an emergency adds to the perks as well. Would definitely keep the tradition going as far as spreading the word to get this company the continuous business they deserve. I love companies that are willing to actually help the customers and make sure everything goes smoothly.

They was very careful with moving stuff as well in asking me questions since I didn't have time to label all the box again. This International Van Lines is an efficient company. I have used their delivery services. Plus these workers get their jobs done in a timely fashion. I love their courtesy. Plus the drivers made sure that my order was kept safely. They avoid driving recklessly. Therefore they practice the concept of safety first.

Many of the regular challenges in moving were quite impressively managed by Van Lines customer service centered movers. It's worth mentioning this was surprisingly well priced, not just considering the financial cost, but mental and emotional costs that can so often be an added tax with dealing with other companies. Very happy to used the services of International Van Lines.

I recently had a big move and it was hard to find a good mover. I came across International Van Lines and in my experience they had the best prices. After booking them for my move not only was I happy with the price but they provided great overall service in all regards.

We have moved internationally and overseas several times and have had positive experiences. Not this time with IVL... No one showed up to do an inventory of our house despite phone calls to request this ahead of the move. They brokered the move out to a separate Canadian company without our knowledge who showed up with a truck that was way too small. We had to pick up a U-Haul last minute at a personal cost of $300 to try to fit as many items as we could and when the remaining goods STILL didn't fit the driver's suggestion was that we come back to pick them up (which would be a 500+ mile trip each way).

The guys that moved me from Virginia to Connecticut were above and beyond. They were super helpful and very diligent. I didn't need much packed, but even if something wasn't packed well, they would repack it and were nice about everything. However, the place that I rented turned out to be very dilapidated, so I had to move my stuff into storage. I had a second round of movers and a job that should have taken them four hours took them all day. They lounged about.

I had a limited time to move, distance wise due to my job. I was being relocated, to Marathon, FL from Pompano Beach, FL. To find the perfect moving company, IVL was courteous service from beginning to moving day. The Customer Service, was excellent and advised how much the cost in total would me to my final destination. All of my items, were secured in the IVL van and the movers assured me that it would be a smooth move. When I got to my destination in Marathon, FL I was relieved, knowing all of my boxes to furniture, were not damaged and IVL took extra precaution, to make sure there was no damage during the transition of my move. I would highly recommend, IVL to anyone especially when moving to a new area, especially if it's longer distance.

International Van Lines, My Experience: All 9 missing boxes: Were items left to me from my mom, my husband and my middle son who all passed away. They are not replaceable. What is the value of these lost items left to me out of love from my husband’s grandparents, my mom’s parents & grandparents and what cherished items I had from my late son? Every box had my name, moving number & address, there is no excuse for this loss to happen. I am so sad and disappointed in this experience. I will never trust moving companies again. They are negligent, dishonest and the driver upon delivery very rude. We, the clients, entrust you, the moving companies, with everything we own, minus batteries & soap.

We didn't have a positive experience with our move. For context, it was our 6th move in the last 10 years. This includes other long distance moves. It was, by far, the worst experience we have had moving. Poor communication, overpromises, and not honoring quotes that were in writing were just a few of the issues. IVL advertises as being different from other moving companies. They are different. Much worse than others. Please do your research and read all reviews. I question whether they are truly the "highest-rated moving company" based on our experience and other negative reviews here.

Terrible experience with this company. They charge you a lot more after pick up. Plan on 10k plus, they want it all paid in cash except for a deposit. No one will ever return your calls and 20 days for items to be delivered. They blame it all on you not reading the fine print on their contracts. Their management is very rude, so disappointing.

We had the worst experience imaginable using International Van Lines. Communication was poor to non-existent. Access to staff who set us up with the move was impossible. No one calls back or writes back. The movers who came to pick up our goods were slow. The truck was too small. We had to leave a lot of things behind. When the movers arrived at our new home, our boxes were piled into a large van in every direction, many were crushed, (even heavy plastic bins), many things were broken when unpacked, and we are missing a lot of items that were packed but never arrived.

Moving and packing are stressful enough. International Van Lines made moving smooth and easy. They arrived on time, which is important. Every box was numbered and transported on the truck carefully. The movers took their time and did not rush. Everything arrived to the new place as scheduled and once again on time. We moved a bit further out this year, so as our way of saving money and supporting a business we hired International Van Lines. The overall process was amazing. Everyone was very kind. Man I'm at a loss of words. Moving in itself is already very stressful but it was like it hurt my prayers and came to my rescue. These dudes are way above professionals. The movers picked up everything on time and the move went well. The driver gave me a date on when they would arrive and I knew there was gonna be variation because it's a long distance. He said the 17th but they didn't come till about eight days past that. That wasn't his fault though. They ended up putting our goods on another truck which was bigger so they could get more people in and then, they had to put it back on a little truck. But that was the only wrinkle. These things happen. The crew for pickup as well as the one for delivery were both good. They were very accommodating and worked with us. Overall, it was a positive experience with International Van Lines.

IVL moved my belongings from Seattle to Santa Fe last September. The belongings were picked up by Mauricio **, who inflated the volume estimate substantially. When I received the belongings in Santa Fe I measured everything, and found that I had been charged for almost twice the volume that was actually moved. IVL has not responded to numerous email and voice messages. By their refusal to engage and by erroneous information they provided in response to my complaint lodged with the WA Attorney General's office, they are condoning the fraudulent actions of their employee. Beware!

I had to move from Nevada to Texas and used International Van Lines because my research showed that they were in my budget and could handle the long trip. The movers showed up on time and loaded the truck in quite a bit less time than I expected. But I'm old, so anyone can do it faster than me... I caught my flight to my new place and waited for them to arrive. They unloaded everything great. Nothing was broken and everything was handled with care. Gave a generous tip for their hard work and professionalism. Hopefully I don't have to move again, but if I do, I'll be using them.

I recently moved long distance from San Francisco, California to San Antonio, Texas, and my experience with International Van Lines was top notch. I dread moving as I move about every 6 months. This is the 2nd time I have used them to help me move and the best part...they box up your stuff for you. This was great because it allowed me to focus on cleaning my kitchen for moveout. We engaged IVL in 2022 to move all of our belongings from CT to NC. IVL was chosen because they were a "licensed carrier" and all communications were that our belongings were to be moved via a large IVL truck via IVL employees. At the last minute, IVL took the decision to broker our move and another company showed up with one medium sized truck. All of our belongings would not fit and some items were left behind...A second truck had to pickup what was left a week or so later. Some items were damaged - a neighbor captured a video of our tool box falling OFF the truck while being loaded. We were compensated for the toolbox. Point is this - IVL IS a broker and can unilaterally decide at the last minute to broker your move without your knowledge or consent. Do your due diligence.

Stay clear of this business – at all costs! Locked in move in Feb for April 2024 move. Very tight schedule and little room for error. Paid $1600 deposit. Everything seemed professionally handled – so far. I’d done my online research. Boy, was I wrong! Got late Friday afternoon phone call one week prior to move and was told that they canceled the move. Couldn’t pull it off and had no trucks in my area. Got a “we’re sorry” and a promise of my deposit back. I’m now totally screwed and scrambling to find another company on short notice and likely at a higher price point for me. They were happy to promise the moon and keep my money for 2 months and then cancel and leave me in a HUGE pickle. Never had less professional service. A disgrace, really. I implore you to stay clear of this company for your own sake.

International Van Lines was much more reasonable than Allied and the price ended up being $1,000 less. There was a lack of communication over how they handle the in-city shuttle because you can't always take the big truck into small city streets. I asked about that so many times and they said not to worry about it. But I was worried because that was gonna be another $400. And it was. It was annoying. They should have been upfront. They said they try to avoid that but I knew that it was gonna be a small street, which was why I asked them.

When Thursday came along, nobody had responded to me. I was wondering what was going on and why I couldn't get anything. I left a voicemail with Danielle. She never returned my call. By the time I reached out again on Friday around noon, the entire staff was gone. I reached out to the customer service. I just got an auto responder that they were closed for the holiday. Nobody said so. I was upset not knowing where my stuff was since it was a holiday.

Communication was virtually non-existent, phone calls and emails went unanswered, and when we did manage to get through to someone, they were incredibly rude and dismissive. The process and way they deliver items is not communicated and we were mislead multiple times. We ended up paying double what we're quoted and charged for every little thing. We were promised that our belongings would arrive within 2 days of pickup, but it ended up taking a staggering 14 days.

I recently moved back home with family and honestly had no enthusiasm about the actual 'moving' part. Until I found International Van Lines, this company and their staff were beyond awesome! I told them about a few personal fragile items of mine but instead they packed and moved all my things as if it was their personal belongings. These guys gave me so much relief that I could finish up last minute details to the move with zero worries! If I ever have to move again (which I know is a definite yes) I'm calling International Van Lines again to do the job!
