Home Service gave me a great recommendation for a tree trimming service. We are very happy with the results. The men who performed the tree trimming were very good and cleaned up very well after they trimmed the trees. I would definitely use this service again.

Central Vac and media hub fixup - I was surprised when I was put in touch with a company over 5 hours away but had had no luck finding anyone closer. Not only was the company willing to make the trip but they were a pleasure to work with. If not for Home Advisor and the company they put me in contact with, I probably would have given up on getting these things up and running again.

HOME ADVISOR ARE SCUM. They REFUSE to STOP calling us. Every time they call us, it's from a different number. Each time we ask Home Advisor to take our number off their call list, they reply with, "I never called you before". They are arrogant, sarcastic and harassing. The real question is... where do they get their money from to be able to afford to keep calling strangers and ask them for money? We have had calls from HomeAdvisor from numbers **. We hope legal action will be taken soon against Home Advisor and set them straight. STOP CALLING PEOPLE who do not want to be called from HOME ADVISOR.

Dealing with contractors can be difficult - I felt like HomeAdvisor took some of the difficulty out. All 3 contractors showed up on time for estimates and when we were ready to make a decision we checked the reviews which were favorable.

Walk-in Shower & high (handicap) toilette - Although my home is 85 yrs old and had plumbing issues, everything was very professionally done and completed to my satisfaction. Plumber had to go under house and repair the plumbing issues and then more issues were encountered when installing new toilette but were quickly resolved.

Requested services thru HomeAdvisor about a leak in my irrigation system. Within minutes, I was contacted by Rick from R&J Plumbing & Irrigation (this happened on a Sunday). I made the appointment for the next day. Rick showed up and took a look at the problem and tried to save me money giving me advice on what to do. It was a tricky situation because the problem wasn't a busted pipe but rather a joint of 2 pipes that was not done properly by the installing company. Rick took care of the problem and I am very satisfied.

My next door neighbor vacant lot had debris that I needed to have removed. This is what they did quite well and at the time and for the price agreed. This is after all what one would expect from any business but it is somehow remarkable when you actually get it.

Don't waste your money here, Better spent elsewhere advertising. They keep sending me supposal leads and the number would be disconnected. They charge more than the salesperson said. I even got charge for leads I never got. Listen, they do not know what is a lead in my field (Electrician).

I thought I was contacting the appliance repair people to see about a quote and possibly setting up an appt. Instead, I got HomeAdvisor. The rep. never told me what she was doing. I think she transferred me to the appliance repair place I had chosen, but was disconnected. I called back and a different HomeAdvisor rep., whom I could barely hear due to a bad connection, told me the appliance repair place could not help me. They emailed me 4 other handyman people whom they said could help me. I didn't want a handyman, I wanted an appliance repair technician. She transferred me to my chosen appliance repair place. I left a message and they got right back to me. Once I was able to connect with the appliance repair place everything went smoothly.

Since I even considered Steadfast Properties, it was based on multiple reviews from HomeAdvisor. I simply found those good quality reviews consistent with my positive experience from the contractor that I hired. My gutters were literally falling off my house. This company got out, gave me my quote and finished installing new gutters in less than a week! Great service and reasonable cost. The people installing were great and did not leave anything behind. Was great timing too, as the very next day after there was the first snow storm of the season.

Recently had an issue with my AC blower motor that gave me an opportunity in real time to see the difference HomeAdvisor makes. The first national franchise company I called does a lot of direct radio advertising - they were not bad - just took a while to arrive and they quoted me a price about double what it should have been. I showed the technical the HomeAdvisor estimates however there was not much he could do, so I went with the HomeAdvisor recommended contractor. These guys were a LOT more committed to customer service and "Doing the right thing". I have to believe that having HomeAdvisor in the mix acting as an advocate for the homeowner really makes a big difference. It is just a way better system - with better management of the risks - than dealing with contractors 1 on 1.

Steve from Old School Remodel was on time, experienced, felt very comfortable dealing with him. Job done in a little under 2 hours on date scheduled.

I had a new kitchen range installed, which had to be larger than the 1/2 inch pipe. The plumber was able to cut off piping to the backyard and run a new line to the range. The work was done on time and as stated by the professional. The worker was clean, professional and courteous.

My husband has been a master electrician all his life. When he recently retired we thought he might do some sides jobs after HomeAdvisor called him. The price was $350.00. After he told me he did this we called them and found out it is really just a company that sells leads. That is OK but what they failed to disclose is they sell the leads 3 times. I finally got that info after insisting I speak to a manager. We never took any leads from them and cancelled the service 3 hours after we signed up after we found this out and went to the bank and cancelled the payment on our credit card. Now trashy bill collectors call us and we have received bills ranging from $400.00 to $1250.00. This is deceptive trade practice. BTW, no one checks out who comes in your house. My husband has been checked out before because he has worked at schools and hospitals and it takes days, not hours so they are lying on their commercials.

Remove and Replace driveway. Connected two Downspout Drains on the south side of my house to a French Drain that emptied into a Storm Drain. Added a French Drain across my backyard and connected it to two downspout drains on the north side of my house and connected all to the Storm Drain.

They are easy to use online, but I love that their customer service agent calls me to check in before and after a project is complete. I can explain to them exactly what I need done, and they help me find the right person or company for the job. A good example is when I remodeled my bathroom, I was confident enough to do the tile work, but had no idea how to take out the tub and place a new one, I received a few quotes, but settled with a company that would help me DIY, and didn't charge me a ton of money. The owner of the plumbing company was nice enough to help me turn my dresser into a vanity at no extra cost. Home Advisor makes the process stress free, and I rely on them for all my home projects. It's nice to know they have your back when going into a project :).

The company AAA dependable was great. Jeff the gentlemen that I spoke with outstanding. My cesspool was pumped in August and then I find out that it has to be done again. I was just livid. I contacted Home Advisor and this company was the first to call and I spoke with Jeff told him about what happened came next day serviced my overflow that she have been done initially. Very happy with his work and told me I have any problem he comes back not like the other company. They said it was not guarantee you must have had something running.

Finding a plasterer that will work in your home around the holidays is extremely hard to find. Through Home Advisor the task was simplified because available people called looking for work. I did not spend time calling answering machines or being told "I'm Booked" The person(s) that were available got work. I think it's a great concept, plus the ability to read the reviews helped me find the right guy based on work done, so it matched the right person with proper expertise with the job.

Hired H&D Home Repair, LLC to put roof Christmas lights Nov 23rd 2017, today is December 4 2017. I got ripped off. Paid half of $800. The owner has given me the runaround. No installation or money back. Every day has been an excuse on why he hasn't installed it. I was fed up yesterday and ask for a refund. He's now stating he will mail me a check made out to cash. Which is a lie. I have all texts and receipt of deposit. I will report all this to the police department. I went to address of his company and he disappeared. I googled him and he's rated a F with BBB. Has another open case for $5000 he ran off with as well another for $800. I'm hoping HomeAdvisor whom recommended him or the police department will resolve this issue.

Kitchen floor ceramic tiles needed grout repaired, whole floor needed regrouting and sealing. Two small bathrooms needed tiles cleaned, regrouted and sealed. Worker was timely, efficient and cleaned up when done. Job was costly, but done well. Dealers ng with HomeAdvisor was a positive experience and I would do it again.
