My main sewer line has been very slow since Saturday. I reached out through HomeAdvisor to find a plumber & found one immediately. They arrived when they said they would, performed the job and were very personable, professional, and knowledgeable about the problem. I would definitely hire them again for any plumbing problem.

We used HomeAdvisor.com to find a local contractor to replace our roof, add vinyl siding over our stucco, new gutters w/ covers and repair our chimney. We were happy with the 3 bids and selected one contractor who performed great quality work. Highly recommended.

I have been with them as a pro and as a consumer for a little while. The service they provide is great, it is pretty good at generating customer interest. They get you leads and if you're a good business and know how to communicate you will get business. But it is all on you as the business owner to make use of the leads and do all the work. The concept and idea is a great idea and works. I have no complaint with the business model or the plan. My complaint is with the customer service and how they treat the pros.

Remodel of kitchen & baths - The referred professionals were what we were looking for since we were new to the area. The identification of professionals contained limited categories but with some additional effort we identified guys that could do what we were looking to complete. The follow-up and review process was also categorized but again with description one was able to communicate the experience and results of the work experience.

I also received a call from a second Lawncare service, but I already engaged the services of Diamond Lawncare of Mount Laurel, who did an excellent job cleaning all the leaves from my property. When I had a horrible experience and wrote a negative review... they never showed it! I asked them why and was told because the “Company hadn’t been hired”. I explained that not only had I hired them, I had waited on three separate dates for them to show up! They never called or cancelled! I wanted to warn others about that company. HomeAdvisor is not giving their customers an accurate picture if they only show one sided reviews! Beware of false advertising by HomeAdvisor!

I wish they could give more 'ballpark' numbers based on drawings and descriptions and give a +/- just so you can compare quicker and weed out those that are way out of the price range.

I hired one of HomeAdvisor's recommended companies to repair and rebuilt a wooden picket fence. The company did a horrible job and it became obvious that Ace Handyman did not have the skill nor know-how on building a fence or fence gate. Ace Handyman did not return any messages or texts for almost 30 days so I attempted to contact HomeAdvisor. First, all their lines were continually busy no matter what time of day I called. When I tried to leave a voice message, their voice mailbox was full therefore I was unable to leave a message.

I received several leads in the first few weeks, was only able to talk with 2 owners, landed one of the jobs. I did the job and paid all the money I earned off that job back to HomeAdvisor for all the dead end leads. Tried canceling my service with a phone call, and I was on hold for an outrageous amount of time. Emailed my rep told him to cancel my service and that I revoked all permission from HomeAdvisor to send me leads and subsequently charge me for them. If they continued to do so I would be forced to freeze their account on my credit card. I did that. They continued to send me leads and bill me for 2 months after. Even after I'd emailed the billing staff, hr, and my rep. They have now sent me to collections. I'm currently filling out a claim affidavit to dispute the matter in court. I gave them warning I would if they continued their course of action.

Our home at ** was built in 1892 located in the “heart” of the Annapolis Maryland Historic District. Our street-to-front porch walkway had disintegrated into a rough patchwork of disoriented brick – many of which were probably placed 125 years ago. Greenland Construction: (1.) removed and cleaned all the bricks, (2.) installed a new gravel sub-base, and (c). reset all existing bricks in a neatly configured pattern. The young gentleman to our townhouse arrived on time and had our two venetian blinds that were stuck in the up position in a couple of minutes. My wife and I really appreciate his assistance since we were unable to get them unstuck ourselves. I have submitted request for my house remodeling. Somehow the fraud person got the information and contacted us as a contractor from the HomeAdvisor site. We gave our project to him and didn't do the job that he supposed to do and steal lot of money from us. After all these, I contacted HomeAdvisor and found out that this person had joined HomeAdvisor as other name. The customer service representative told me that that company has inactivated from HomeAdvisor. Then how come he got all my information and contacted me as a person from HomeAdvisor. I did not had put my information on any other website besides HomeAdvisor. Please don't use HomeAdvisor because there are fraud people in it too. If they are not activated they still get the information and your request. You might not know what you are getting and end up being victim of fraud people.
