I was looking for someone to come to my home and repair my heat system. They found someone right away and connected me with him. The repairman came within an hour, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I was very satisfied and will use them in the future.

My only disappointment was that there was only one fence company that responded to my request for a quote. I was happy with the one that did come and did the work. Selph Made Fences was prompt and did a professional job. They cleaned up the area well also.

My experience with HomeAdvisor is exceptional. It has been more successful than recommendations from colleagues, family, friends, or neighbors. The HomeAdvisor rating as well as the vetting done on each potential contractor listing is very helpful. Finally, I find the front-end web interface easy to navigate with more options the mobile application.

Our large yard was a MESS! Tito's team came in and took care of it in less than 5 hours. Everything looks beautiful. They will be coming back every 2 weeks to mow and edge. We have also talked about future projects, but there is no pressure from him to get them scheduled. He works with what we can afford as we go!

I was able to locate someone here is skilled calling by myself. The site needs more customer service since finding someone I can do yelp or google.

GrayCo Construction, Inc. contacted me as a result of my request to HomeAdvisor. The telephone contact was immediate, The following day, Mr. Gray gave me an estimated cost of the project. He was able to start the job the following day; and, the work was beautifully completed in four days. GrayCo Construction, Inc. disposed of the trash and simply did an OUTSTANDING job!!

This was a great resource to find a qualified and licensed contractor to do a tile project at my house. Both recommended contractors contacted me immediately and both seemed very qualified for the project. I received several email follow-ups from the website, which I liked.

Driveway repaving - HomeAdvisor provided a number of contractors to choose from. Pretty much all estimates were in the same ballpark and after detailed review very fair. The website was very easy to navigate and use. HomeAdvisor followed up and was good find.

Replaced furnace blower motor. The tech went above and beyond to get it running, this was on a Sunday. Would highly recommend this company to anyone. Will definitely be using this company when upgrading my furnace and air conditioning system.

Needed a lot of work. We went through HomeAdvisor to find people who were trustworthy & experienced. Hired a crew for drywall replacement & it turned out they could do full remodels. They did an awesome job completely gutting & replacing the bathroom as well as fixing water damage to the hall ceiling & fixing an electric problem. The website also led us to a loan company who quickly & easily helped us finance the extra expense. Will use this site again!

Very easy to use the service and give me a great service pro to get the project done fast. When the job was finish the ground was almost flat and need very little to set the new sod in place. If you see the area you could not tell there was 3 stumps in that area at all.

Go referred to 3 tree removal companies by HomeAdvisor. Got two responses immediately. One estimate was very high. The 2nd was reasonable. Hired the 2nd company (Residential & Commercial Lawn Services) and they did a fantastic job! The owner came with a full crew (team of 7), three truck and a large Shredder/ Chipper. I was initially hesitant to give my home address & phone number to initiate the project with HomeAdvisor but it was a good decision to go thru HomeAdvisor. I suggestion - They need to wet the pros a bit more to ensure the pricing is reasonable. Thanks!!!

When searching for a window covering company, I vaguely remember the name HomeAdvisor but knew nothing about them. I did a search, answered and few questions, received a few recommendations and forgot about them. I was surprised when H.A. called asking how my experience was with the company I chose. Our interaction was minimal, but helpful, and they cared enough to follow-up.

In an attempt to find an electrical contractor I contacted HomeAdvisor. To my surprise within a half an hour, I was able to obtain two. I chose one based on the data received and by 11:00am the next morning I had an electrician ringing my bell. He was competent, polite and completed what was needed in a short time.

I received an immediate response and was able to book for the next day. The service was very well done and efficient. They had their own supplies and I was able to continue working uninterrupted while they cleaned. I will definitely use them again!

Three way switch with dimmer that was not reliably working. Worked sometime from one switch. One switch had worn wires inside the box. Also the flood light were not compatible with the fixtures. Sean made suggestion on type of light to use and once we did that to date we have had no issues.

Every job I’ve ever had done has been with professional references. I have used them for plumbing, and refinishing my wood floor and sod. Each job was finished on time and cost exactly what was quoted. The website is very easy to use and you are supplied with multiple names and numbers. I was able to choose quality people to do the job.

We had a tree fall on our roof at 2 am. Not knowing who to call, I Googled "tree removal near me". HomeAdvisor was one of the choices. I filled out the form and had the names of 2 companies in minutes. Shortly thereafter one of the companies called, came out, we accepted the quote, and the crew was here by 10 am. They had the tree removed and cleaned up by 1 pm. It was great having someone give us a list of recommended companies. We've had to find contractors in the past and had most respond after a couple of days, a week, or not at all. Using HomeAdvisor successfully made this catastrophe a little easier to get through.

Work very satisfactory. Only one bidder actually came out to look at the project. Other bids were by phone. I do not recommend phone bids. They underestimate and then aren’t prepared for the scope of the project. I chose the most expensive because he came out and saw what needed to be done. It was a large job and I felt like the other bidders were making an educated guess and underestimating the scope of work as well as underbidding. The company that did the work had mostly 5 star references.

Good information and great customer service follow through when using one of their recommended pros. I was please with the work. Will continue to use their website for future projects. I hope they'll be adding more pros to my area soon. Happy customer.

Resurfaced our flat roof in El Paso, TX. They are very personable and prompt. They finished our roof in 12 hours. I would recommend to anyone who needs their roof done. Juan, the owner is an asset to his profession. Cement was applied first and then a silicone coating that protects for a lifetime was applied after.

Removed old penetrations (3), installed new penetrations, installed fasteners, sealed penetrations with adhesives, painted the penetrations with factory color match paint, replaced shingles around the penetrations and replaced and fasten shingles as necessary. All debris from the project was removed at completion of the job. The Tech, Garrett, was very friendly and courteous. If I need to use a roof repair company again, I would not hesitate to use this company.

A portion of my stone wall crumbled during a heavy rainstorm. A large area needed to be repaired to tie into the existing wall, Contractor added to the depth of the wall and made it to look like the wall was the original one.

I would give no stars if I could. I had called a local company to fix my roof. They made an appointment, but didn't show up or call. So I tried HomeAdvisor. A company called within an hour. I made an appointment and then I checked their reviews. I could not find 1 good review. I live in GA and we were about to get the rain from Harvey in a few days. One of my roof ridge vent guards had come off and needed to be replaced so it would take much time or effort to do the job. They called on Friday. They made an appointment for Saturday. Didn't show up. Didn't call. If I hadn't had to worry about the rain I would have called someone else on Monday.

Not an easy job labor intensive. We were very satisfied with the work. The shower had to be prepared before the painting process could begin. This was a time consuming process. Also when the job was finished the shower could not be used for a couple days.

I liked on a quote button to see what an est would like on my project but instead I was sent to a screen to schedule an appt. when that wasn't what I asked. Plus now I receive phone calls from contractors and that is not what I wanted.

I ended up taking the second one only because he could take care of my issue within hours instead of the next day. I started at HomeAdvisor a couple of years ago because Angie's List charged for their service. Angie's List is free now, but I won't switch. I am a 70 year old woman who lives alone, and I kind of consider HomeAdvisor as the "man around the house."

Replace broken spring on garage door. This job was done in a professional manner. Reasonable price. Tech was knowledgeable and professional. Cleaned up well when done. He replaced the spring and lubricated all other moving parts. He checked out the closer. I am very satisfied with how this job was completed.

HomeAdvisor has been quick to find me professionals in several areas that have helped me to make a major move to a new home and to provide necessary services once I got there. I have been satisfied with all of their recommendations.

Was having all kinds of problems finding someone to replace a above ground pool liner and HomeAdvisor took care of that for me. Excellent service. I've now used 3 companies using HomeAdvisor. Touch of Class for my deck. Michael has been responsible and very knowledgeable about repairing my deck. It needed more work than originally planned but it was still a reasonable price. David **, my new plumber not only came to do some minor repairs he took the time to teach me how to fix things on my own for next time. LJ Tree Service for pruning. Luis did a beautiful job trimming my apple tree for this year. All were punctual, professional, reasonably priced. It's been a pleasure!

Thanks for such a great resource. All of the folks I have hired through this service has been very professional. I only had one business. All for each job however so I did not have anything else to compare it to regarding bids. I was supposed to get three bids per job. I went with the first lawn person and was pleased but why did the other two not call?

Stephen was very thorough and professional... and friendly. He did aggressive check of mattresses for bed bugs and our upholstered furniture as well. He answered any question we had with good detail. The best of all... no pests in our house. Our reactions are likely allergy related. I highly recommend him. AND no bugs... no charge. When do you ever get that kind of service any longer.

I don't know how much services are paid to HomeAdvisor but I would prefer to be given names of companies and let me contact them instead of getting 3 calls.

Great service and resolution. I had inadvertently opened two accounts which caused me further confusion while accounting for my rewards totals. Because I had split my services between the two accounts. I ended up calling the HomeAdvisor customer rewards department who was happy to help and resolve the issue and merge points after I review the next upcoming qualified service.

After using HomeAdvisor the first time I knew it would generate emails and calls. So on my second search for a professional I said I was just looking and did not want to be connected. Perhaps I did something wrong because my phone started ringing promptly. I would prefer to not give out my phone contact since I am already inundated with marketing calls. I will make sure the next time, I won't look if I don't want to be contacted.

For this electrical job Home Advisor offered only one contractor in my area. Their system automatically makes an appointment with the contractor for you at a time of your choosing. In my case the contractor phoned me to discuss the job and we agreed the scope and charging for the work over the phone. The contractor's response was quick, friendly, helpful and professional.

Out of the 4 companies who received my request, only 1 contacted me and that's the one I used. I was expecting at least 3 to call me so I could get a quote, but it was kind of an emergency so I went with the only one who contacted me.
