The Zambrano worker Leo worked on the job, removed, cleared out leftover wooden desks, a refrigerator, microwave, removed a rug, replaced 2 toilets and removed an iron gate on a door entrance. He finished the job in 2 days. His work is outstanding and will be assigned more work. Leo saved the owner time by not looking elsewhere, he is experience in all types of repairs. He is outstanding worker. Please disregard a negative report on Leo due to a misunderstanding where he lost his phone with job location and did not show. He is the best. Ask for Leo **.

The young lady that answered my call for HomeAdvisor did great job. She was prompt, accurate, and answered all of my questions clearly. She put in immediate contact with the Drum Point Yard Service and the whole process was a good experience. She was pleasant to work with and am looking forward to working with her again.

I met with Henry who is the owner, he gave me a fair and honest assessment of my options and pricing. He was open and honest and was a man of his word. The work came out great and I am very pleased and would recommend Henry and his company to anyone who needs brickwork done.

AC problem was diagnosed as having a refrigerant leak. First day to allow ice to melt around Evaporator coil to check for leaks. Second day, leaks were discovered in the Evaporator coil, which was rusted badly on the end caps where the tubes loop through the fins. A new coil was located and scheduled for replacement the next day. 3rd day unit was replaced in addition to a capacitor used for starting the Condenser Compressor. Also had drain traps installed on both AC units. 5 lbs of refrigerant were also added to system after the repair was completed. The entire process went very smoothly and he made a point to call me to keep me informed as far as coil availability, when he would arrive and costs related. Would definitely recommend his services to others. Very friendly and courteous, good work ethics and professional.

AC was not cooling. Technician found cause and thawed the coils. I opted to was on replacing a bad blower motor, but had to have them back the following Monday. Blower motor was replaced and I have had no problems since then. I am very pleased with the thoroughness of the technician and the response from the company in getting me taken care of.

My experience with Lucero Construction was excellent. I contacted a second company for a different job, we scheduled a time to meet, and no one showed up. So I had one good experience with HomeAdvisor and one bad experience.

Everything started smoothly for a while, until I started receiving calls from numbers that nobody answers, and HomeAdvisor still charges me as a contractor. We, the professionals, are maintaining this business who does not care about their clients (contractors). When they finally send a real phone number they match 3-4 contractors and no matter if you are able to at least send a message to that phone number who usually does not have the contact name leaving us not knowing if at least the "client" got the message. Other times when they answer and tell us to remove them out of the list in a very offensive way. Even though I call HomeAdvisor's customer service, they still charge me for the lead. I couldn't be more disappointed and frustrated for their lack of professionalism and business management.

I've used this service where I live and used it this time for a family member. Easy to use and seems reliable. There weren't a lot of options for my particular search, but I did choose one of them for the project and the other was responsive, as well.

Central A/C replacement. We had a leak in ceiling. Found out we had a clogged line and A/C was not getting cold. Everything needed to be replaced. New drain pan with auto shut off, line was cleaned out new thermostat, all done in 6 hours. They cleaned up and took old unit away. We were highly impressed.

Budget Pest Control, Inc. sent a serviceman (Robert) out to my house the very next day after I called their office. Robert was very thorough in treating the exterior of the house as well as interior where wasps got into a bedroom and laundry room. My husband and I have not seen any wasps since.

New gutter and downspout put up, with caulking to seal and prevent water from leaking in a living room window... interior painting on ceiling in second floor which had previous water damage... and touch up paint on window sills and door jams in first floor of the interior of house.

Both professionals did the work (electrical and TV mounting) quickly and efficiently and would recommend them both to others. For wrought iron fence repair. They came out same day and gave estimate. Took the fence to shop to repair and returned in agreed-upon timetable. After completion, I had a wrought iron patio set that he is resurfacing and painting.

We had to replace the screens in three of the front windows. Called HomeAdvisor and they recommended Dependable Glass. I called and inquired about the cost and timeframe, they gave me the price, first available date. Both were acceptable and I made the appointment. The person showed as agreed, measured the screens, labeled them (1,2,3) and took them saying that he will bring them back when finished. On Monday, October 2, he called to find out the time that someone would be home in order to bring the screens/frames and install them. He came right on time, it took him 4 minutes to finish and the windows looked great.

Repairing a heat pipe from the separate hot water heater - Provided me with contractors near my house. Gave me all their names, location and the address. The response was excellent. Within a short time 3 contractors called me. I arranged two contractors to come and give me an estimate. I selected the first person Kevin from KN Heating & Cooling.

Raising sunken concrete: HomeAdvisor has sent me four contractors of which I am using two. The other two did not turn out to be a good experience with follow up for scheduled appointments. I have completed one project and have another scheduled to be done in approximately four weeks with a different contractor (different type project).

We had to leave town to escape the path of Hurricane Irma. When we returned home 10 days later we had a broken window in our living room with some minor water damage. Fuel oil tank disposal - Many of the companies list in HomeAdvisor did not offer this service as could be determined simply by looking at their profiles. I called several on the list and they readily said they didn't offer the service. I suggest HomeAdvisor scrutinize its lists for greater accuracy. Having said that, HomeAdvisor suggested only one company, Ohio Soil Service, which responded to my email. It got the job and did it to my satisfaction.

I liked that I could find individuals who can fix things who are small business people. Also I know the people are screened and will not scam me. The website is very easy to use and the response time is very quick.

The electrician indicated work which was beyond his capability, he could not upgrade the panel because of time constraints and his primary job commitment. However, he checked everything for safety and indicated the work which he could perform once the major work was completed.

I have used HomeAdvisor several times & have not been disappointed. Their recommendations (businesses) know how important it is to satisfy their customers & get the reviews. One bad one is all I need to discourage my business & a couple of good honest ones seal the deal!

After 11 days with no electricity our a/c worked for only the first day after power was restored. We were very eager to get it repaired quickly. Purtz came out the same day of my call, acquired the blower motor under warranty, and returned and installed it. Very fast service, very reasonable price. We are extremely pleased and will stay with them for future maintenance and service.

Quality work, professional, courtesy, honest, didn't take a long time on time, fair price, good material, didn't take a lot of breaks, always have enough help, always done extra and ask you what you think before they finish the work they were doing.

I found someone good based on good reviews. HOWEVER be careful and do your own additional checking. Someone else who was listed as a licensed contractor wasn't. (Either license was expired or was fictitious). So, while recommendations are helpful you still have to do your own double-checking and vetting.

I was very please with the work performed by Moore Construction company. I had the roof completely replace on my home, detached garage and storage building. The workmanship and the cleanup afterwards was excellent. The color of the shingles were the perfect color. I asked for a quote to replace my existing siding, so next year when I have the money, I will update. Who knows, I may find other projects that I may want to have done. I will recommend Moore Construction for any work to be performed to my friends.

We had severe erosion of our driveway from rain water coming off the road. Our contractor created a sway and installed a drain and culvert and large rock to divert the water. He then regraded our drive, leveling previous erosion damage. They were on time, professional, and very neat. They left the site very clean and you couldn't even tell it had just been worked on.

I was very disappointed with HomeAdvisor with my appointment that I had with a home inspector. The day before my appointment, Home Advisor canceled it. NOBODY asked them to cancel it. I even called them when they left me a message about canceling it and I told them NOT to cancel, but they did anyway. They sent the contractor an email saying it was canceled. I did not cancel it, the contractor did not cancel it. Home Advisor canceled out without being asked. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

HomeAdvisor doesn't allow me to use the same company for future service. Sure, I can call them directly, but the whole point of using HA is to accumulate rewards. In addition, it's difficult to contact the company directly because once they sign up for HA, any search yields HA's number, not their direct line.

It's so hard to find people that you can trust to do good work. This is a great service for people who are new to the area or just need assistance. The customer service has been great. I was able to schedule and cancel appointments as needed and I am extremely satisfied.

They promised the world and deliver absolutely nothing in return. All I got from them 1200 bill after spending $289 for membership fee. All I received was a bill to a month later or $1200. I would call every single lead immediately and not one lead ever even return my call let alone answer the phone. Not to mention I got a lot of leads from long distance area code which are not even in my area so what would the point of giving me a from another state. Don't trust them. BEWARE!!!

After entering my info and what I needed, the nightmare started. 10 calls, emails, TEXT from companies all over the U.S., started attacking. I then picked what I thought was a local company to do the lawn care I was looking for. Wrong. The company Lawn Love, a company in San Diego, CA., I am in south Florida, yes I know, nowhere near me, they send emails, TEXT and link to website, which wants your credit card info. All three times they said they would show, they never showed. They TEXT saying they will be here that day, No show!

Finally found Master Pool & Patio to do the job, after wide variations in pricing and pool heater, with no incentives to come see the job before giving a price quote. Leaves impression that price quoted without seeing job will end up costing more once job is started.

Driveway asphalt and roof repair - Large gravel driveway is now smooth and nice. The owner Jim and his Wife are great to work with. Very friendly crew and I would recommend them highly. They also repaired loose shingles at a fair price. It is nice to see a family working together!
