This is the third time I have used them for a home improvement project and I haven't been disappointed. I have had very different projects and I was always able to find the right pro from Bathroom refinishing, to duct cleaning, to hardwood floor install with refinishing.

We have used HomeAdvisor for three projects and have been very happy with their recommendations. Received replies immediately after receiving their recommendations and were all reasonable and professional. Will definitely use again. It's a very easy process to find these professionals using a simple to fill out form, submit it and have recommendations immediately.

This was my first time using HomeAdvisor. I was impressed at the speed in which I got a reply from a qualified contractor. The contractor was excellent, efficient and the price was fair. We would definitely use HomeAdvisor again to seek candidates for assistance with another project.

Great customer service! HomeAdvisor gave me several contractors I would recommend. I liked that I was given several companies to work with to get the best price. The people I talked with were very professional and easy to work with.

Very impressed with how quickly I was contacted by contractors thru HomeAdvisor. Also impressed with the fact that HomeAdvisor has checked out the contractors and only suggest top notch contractors. Did not know what to expect with HomeAdvisor. Was calling local plumbers and was still waiting For a return call. Connected with HomeAdvisor and the phone rang right when the website said it would, (super fast) with their process of matching our needs with available plumbers in 'our area'. I was surprised that the plumbers was from farther than I would have expected or would have found in any manual search. I was very pleased with the plumber matched for us and would recommend them and HomeAdvisor. Total job was completed is 2.5 hours (hot water heater replacement).

Each time I need to hire someone, HomeAdvisor is the place I go. I love that I am able to put in exactly what I need done and the professionals giving me a call or contacting me already have most of the information, so I don't have to repeat myself hundreds of times.

A friend recommended HomeAdvisor as she has used the site for a few projects. In the past we have had difficulty finding reliable contractors, we decided to try HomeAdvisor. This was our first experience hiring a contractor through the site, it was good experience. We felt more confident about who we were hiring, the cost estimate and the overall results.

Garage door motor replacement - Put a new system in on a Sunday afternoon. Probably 5 hours from first call to finish. Three year service contract. Would hire them again. Would recommend to others. Gave us three options for the repair. The price was reasonable considering the short notice.

I find it pretty easy to find professionals for a project. This was the first time I hired a pro through your site. In the past I ended up using a pro from Angie's List or Thumbtack. I will use this site again.

HomeAdvisor solicits contractors to receive leads from Home Owners. There is a steep cost for these leads. They admonish you to turn off the leads for periods of time because we will be so busy. However, the leads come in, very few customers answer or get back to you. Even after only a couple minutes. HomeAdvisor does not limit the number of contractors to whom they give leads. They charge every time they send you a lead irrespective of actually getting in touch with the owner. I called them and requested a refund. They denied my company. I believe this company is a BIG scam. The sales rep Tammy never responded to my inquiries requesting a refund. She was very misleading in her sales pitch.

We value this site and will use it for any further projects. It is difficult today to trust people, HomeAdvisor eliminates the fear of hiring people to work on your home. I am convinced this service is necessary, especially for the elderly. We feel very protected and definitely slept easier because of the HomeAdvisor.

I needed an electrician to do a small job for me. I went onto HomeAdvisor and got recommendations within minutes. I know this isn't standard but I received a call from one of the recommendations and had the work done within hours of the initial request. Awesome!

They came on time to the appointment and listened to my concerns and desires for what I want in my front yard. They gave me their opinion, they did not impose their thinking and liking. The job was done in 8 days and they were very professional.

I was very impressed with both of the contractors referred to me by HomeAdvisor. The contractor I hired did a great job and I would recommend him without hesitation. He was also able to give me the names of someone to do some concrete work for me and someone to do some electrical work for me too. I was happy with the accurate communication I had with my contractor. He was here when he said he'd be here and employs very professional, polite and knowledgeable assistants.

Water Heater Pro needed. HomeAdvisor suggested 3 competent and reputable companies for my project. They responded immediately after my request for pros. Prices from all 3 were great and so were their reviews. Info provided was detailed and informative. Much better than another recommendation service I had used for years.

I used HomeAdvisor to find someone to do a home inspection on a recently purchased home. The website was quick and easy to use and gave me 3 of the top rated inspectors in my area. Within an hour, all 3 inspectors had contacted me, I chose one that day, and had an inspection scheduled for the very next morning. Inspection went great and the cost was $80 cheaper than any other quote I had received in the area.

Kitchen and bath granite counter replacements - Initial quote was a bit more than we wanted, but Melony worked with us all the way through, even when we asked for adding a vanity top and backsplash for our guest bathroom using the same slab remnants, and gave me a military veteran discount on top of it all! Highly recommend Natural Stone Interiors!

All 3 contractors we hired were great. I would recommend all 3. All were responsive and personable. All were on time and did the job as requested. HomeAdvisor followed up regularly to make sure we were happy with the contractors they suggested and with the quality of the work they did.

I received a list of several providers and selected Foy's Final Touch. I was highly pleased with the service. Despite a demanding schedule, Neil Foy offered to adjust his schedule on short notice to assess an attic issue on the next house I am in the process of buying.

I needed my smoke alarms changed. I was very pleased with the pro I hired. I have used HomeAdvisor before with great results. Josh was 30 minutes late arriving but when he got here he went right to work and had the job done in no time. He was friendly and price was better than others.

Stump Removal - Very fast, courteous, good price. I would highly recommend this person. I contacted online, he called. He was prompt and on time. He used a fantastic, small remote controlled machine. It fit into the small space he had to maneuver in. He did an excellent clean up afterwards.

Although I chose not to be contacted but HomeAdvisor made 4-5 contractors calling/emailing me to offer their services. My request was ignored as HomeAdvisor had to forward my contact information to charge for the leads. That was not a good practice.

Have used the service more than a few times and have been very satisfied each and every time a contractor has been hired. On each occasion, the prices have been reasonable, and the contractors have been very professional; have hired the same plumber on two occasions.

We have used HomeAdvisor for many projects in the past couple years and turn to it for referrals of contractors. We have been quite happy with everyone we've hired through this service. Only criticism would be that even if I've specified that "I will contact myself" (rather than have them contact me,) I still am contacted by the contractors. Not sure where the glitch is there, but sometimes I'd prefer to call who I want, when I want.

Since moving to a new area and not having the friends and contacts to know who is good and who to stay away from HomeAdvisor has been a really great service. I have had several issues with the new house and HomeAdvisor has allowed me to hire great contractors.

Their website is easy to use and understand. In fact some of their providers will see you have been on the website looking for a particular service and text you. The plumber I got texted me letting me know he didn't charge extra for weekends so after checking him out I cancelled the plumber who charges extra for the weekend.

This is a very easy site to follow, start with a search and you get a list of pros by category. You will get a list of highly recommended professional with different price points. I recommend this site as it is very helpful in finding the right pro for the job.

Use check to pay and save money. They were done very quickly. Better call and schedule an appointment, they are booked up. Ask about different sized screen mesh, they failed to show me until after the job was done. I would of chose a tighter screen to prevent pine needles from entering.

Of three estimates I was supposed to receive, only two contractors contacted me. The first one contacted me on the same day, came out the next day, and presented an estimate that evening. The second contractor didn't contact me for several days, didn't come out until the following week, and didn't submit an estimate for nearly two weeks! (His estimate was also nearly 50% higher.) Needless to say, I went with the first contractor, Prestige Landscape Group, and was very happy with the result.

Blown Insulation Request - The company recommended was good, very timely, and affordable. Communication during the estimate was difficult and only got clarification after calling the office a few days later. We had some confusion as to what day they could come but they were able to come on the day I scheduled.

I simply googled for painters in Honolulu and got the HomeAdvisor website as one of my references. I went to the site and looked for painters to do the exterior of my home. CertaPro Painters responded fairly quickly. After some additional checks and getting two other quotes, I went with CertaPro and was pleased with their work and customer service.

It is quick and easy to use the HomeAdvisor website and every contractor has contacted us quickly and done fantastic work. They have reps who call to follow up to be sure you were able to complete the project. They ask if you need help finding contractors for upcoming projects. Just a great company!

I would recommend HomeAdvisor to everyone. They are great. Called for people to remove a huge tree and got immediate responses. Picked one contractor on their list and the work was done quickly and efficiently. Holman Services are the best of the best when you need service to remove a tree or some trimming done.

Hired a Snow Plow Pro to plow my driveway. He showed when he said he would and did a great job. G2 Plowing was very professional and pleasant to work with. He put the snow pile where I had requested and keep it out of the way. I also had marking poles along the driveway which were all intact.

We were looking for our someone to reglaze our tub and surround. HomeAdvisor presented 2 options. We interviewed both companies and were impressed with both options. The company we went with was very easy to work with. We had to postpone the work for a few months but was just completed and we are highly satisfied. We would use the company and will use HomeAdvisor in the future.

HomeAdvisor found an excellent repair service for the microwave repair. Using HomeAdvisor was easy, fast and led me to an outstanding repair service that I was unaware existed in my area. We will use HomeAdvisor again when the opportunity and/or need arises.

My experience with Nupen Lighting was outstanding. Definitely 5 stars in every category. They were prompt, professional, efficient, and personable. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They re-did an old system and expertly reviewed how to maintain it. They replaced old lighting with more efficient LED so I will save money as well.

We had a new Central A/C installed in our home. The old system was twenty years old and tired. This new system is so much quieter and more efficient. We are very pleased with the job they have done. The unit is a lot smaller physically in size and takes up less space than the old unit.

When I submitted my paving project through HomeAdvisor, response from contractors was slow or I'd call them and they wouldn't follow through. I went online, asked for Termite inspection, I was matched with 4 Pest control guys. The system tried to set appointment but was unable, I was given 4 numbers to call, I called Brandley, it was set up in a few hours. I did receive another call but had already set up appointment.

Good experience, with good companies recommended. I did expect that there would be more detail regarding the companies recommended, like user reviews, more precise price estimates, maybe HomeAdvisor even making requests for estimates from all three companies. Maybe I just missed these things.

I went on the internet and decided to use HomeAdvisor for my HVAC problem. They responded quickly and recommended 3 businesses in my area that could probably fix my problem. I heard from all three of those businesses and decided to use Ava Air. I was very pleased with the repairs and the serviceman. I would certainly use HomeAdvisor again.

I pulled up HomeAdvisor on my phone and it was very easy to enter my information, service needed, and submit. The site then tried to assign my job to a service provider, but that piece took a long time and didn't seem to be working. I was then shown a list of recommended providers and called the one with the best reviews. They were able to send help the same afternoon and were probably on site an hour or so after I called in. Repair was completed in pretty good time and I noticed that another vehicle even came by to deliver a needed part. Overall experience was good from HomeAdvisor and I would use again or recommend to someone else.

HomeAdvisor has been pretty quick in reaching out to me as far as work that has been performed. I had two estimates for the gutters and went with R&B Gutters and they did a great job and so did the handyman that did some work around my entry door.

Interior Painting and Repair from Earthquake Damage. The Price and Quality of work was Excellent. Saul was easy to work with and was always Professional with his work. I would Recommend this Company to anyone that want a true Professional.

Second time using HomeAdvisor. If you don't know who to call when work is needed they make it very easy to find a responsive company. Two or three calls come in quickly and all the companies I've talked with were willing to look at my project... big or small.

We need to replace and install three outdoor light fixtures to the front of my house. Two over the driveway and one over at the front entrance to my house. The electrician was able to do that in just a few days and the work they performed was absolutely top drawer.

I awoke this morning to my husband telling me the garage door was broken. From 7:30 AM to 11:45 AM, I made the appointment, and got the repair done. Rich gave me a call when they were about a half hour away from their last job. Very professional, friendly, prompt and courteous. We have used HomeAdvisor for several tasks and complex projects both inside the house and outside in the yard for landscaping services. We moved 1800 miles away and used them again in our new location. Every effort is made to understand the scope of the work requested in order to match the customer with the appropriate business/service provider. They do a good job of follow-up to get as much information as possible about the customers' experience. We think they have been honest brokers in both locations.

Tree cut - The Young Guy who contacted me had done a good job. It two weeks and I have to contact to another person for cement work. That took a little time and money. But all and all they have done a great job.

My furnace was blowing cold air. They had 2 companies contact me and within an hour a repairman was here. He did the work efficiently and within 4 hours I had warm air again. The cost was reasonable for the time spent finding the problem.

They delivered much more than I could have expected. Chris had great suggestions. I will be using the HomeAdvisor again. Great job guys. I needed some brickwork done. They called to do a survey. She asked, "Do you need any other work done." They found me a brick mason that day. He came out 45 minutes after I called him. He came and fixed the brickwork the next day. I am very happy with HomeAdvisor.

TS Landscaping was wonderful. Did job quickly and the result is beautiful! But no recommended handymen called back. The job could well be done in an hour or so but no one has called! Now the city is threatening us with fines if we don't get that facade fixed! Help!

I had two contractors look at the job to give an estimate. The first one looked at the job and said that he would send me an estimate via email. It's been over a week and I have yet to receive the estimate. The second one gave me an estimate immediately after looking at the job. I hire the second one today. I was disappointed in HomeAdvisor for having a contractor that apparently didn't want the job but didn't call or notify me.

The pro did an excellent job of cleaning it and removing most of the mark--particularly difficult because it was not cleaned sooner. He was also punctual, pleasant, and efficient. The price was surprisingly low, and he did not raise it because of the storm damage. I heartily recommend this company.

Water pressure tank and pump - Was pleased with the service and the results. I would recommend them and I would use the again. The pricing was negotiable and the work was done fairly quickly. They explained what the problem was and the remedy. They also reviewed how to maintain and care for the system in the future.

Build up existing CMU wall. One course for 20 feet and then 3 courses for 40 feet. Included some excavation, installation of drainage pipe, building block steps, drilling and setting anchor bolts for plates. Workers were professional and the work site was cleaned each day. Quality work.

HomeAdvisor also provided some background information on typical costs for the proposed project, which I found valuable.

Fake reviews, dont do background check on businesses. I went through HomeAdvisor for flooring. I informed HA of the poor quality work, owner refused to answer calls and fix issues. HA makes excuses as to how they are not responsible, nor do they research companies for bad business. They will solicit ANY company for work. If you inform them of bad business they refuse to place reviews under 3 stars!

They were in and out very quickly... good job. A drain pipe had been broken up and it was necessary to repair and they did a good job... The drain pipe had pulled apart in the middle where there was a double joint and I had tried to fix it but it kept coming apart. So I called and they fixed it very nicely.

I thought hiring a plumber would be painful to my wallet. But Sherman Plumbing came the following day and repaired BOTH of my toilets. It was a great job and very reasonably priced. I'd hire them again without question! Everything was done professionally, there was no messy cleanup and he totally explained exactly what was needed in a way that was totally understandable.

Universal Blinds & Shutters, Inc - Marc was very professional, knew what he was doing, would recommend this company to everyone. When he came, he fix right away the blinds that we had a problem with, and gave us quote to replace others. I could not find a company to come and fix the blinds, they all say they could fix blinds, but everyone said, that it was better to replace them. Not this company.

Have used this process since before it was "HomeAdvisor". Over the years, there has been a lessening of referrals selections, fewer pros to choose from and interview, sometimes only one listed. Any job should get at least three estimates so don't understand why only one pro is referred. Are fewer professions willing to sign up with HomeAdvisor? If so, why? I still appreciate seeing other consumer reviews before interviewing to get get a bid.
