They called right away & I scheduled an appointment for that day. Great service, I will use HomeAdvisor for other services I need. It is a really good service & I found just what I needed with a someone that could answer my questions. Very helpful & informative.

This is the first experience in using HomeAdvisor. I received bids from 5 companies and 2 were from HomeAdvisor. The two lowest bids with the most benefits came from HomeAdvisor. I picked the lowest bid and they exceeded my expectations.

Garage Door Repair - The service was able to locate and schedule a technician within 24 hours. The service gave me a choice of dates and times to fit my schedule. I would use this service in the future and recommend to a friend.

I cannot thank you enough. I had a very difficult time finding a good electrician. I used other apps to find people but did not have much luck. Maybe my job was a bit complicated, but I still needed the work done. Sean (electrician) called me and that was it. His work was great. I also am scheduled to have the asbestos removal done next Monday. So far Silver Environmental have been very prompt and I'm sure their work will be great. I will definitely be using HomeAdvisor for all my home improvement projects. Frankly I can't see why anyone wouldn't use you guys. Your service is free to use. Can't beat that price.

HA for pros is a scam. We have very few leads to pan out and typically when we contact said lead, the voicemail is not set up or no one answers the phone. When we try to receive a credit they just decline it. After a year we got frustrated dealing with them and canceled with them. 2 weeks later they pulled 287.00 from our account. Contractors, be aware!

Got prompt service that was excellent. Joseph was competent and pleasant, and went the extra mile to figure out that we needed a new motor in the ice maker. A different company had told me that we needed a new $800 door for the refrigerator!

Had new front steps installed and needed rod iron railings. Got the names and contact info of several steel fabrication companies from HomeAdvisor. Received quotes and Hired L-A-C Steel. Fabricated the railings and installed all in a little over a month. They look great. Very Happy with HomeAdvisor hooking me up with this company.

So far I have used two people from Home Advisor, I have been very pleased with the quality of work and time that it took to complete the work. My tile floors are light with light colored grout. After the work done by Dan the man, they looked new. My windows are so clean with Bluon Window Washer, you could just walk through the glass. No streaks. Excellent work.

Just moved into an older unit and wanted to have the popcorn ceiling removed. So I called around to have it tested for Asbestos. HomeAdvisor connected me to a service tech in the area. The service tech Nick was very knowledgeable and tested only what was required. Made recommendations and was very customer focused. Called before coming was very professional and engaging. Answered all my questions and left me feeling good about my home.

Arrived on time. Replaced light switch that was old and worn and making a crackling sound when right switch was turned on. Repaired one outlet that was cracked and unsafe. Then replaced 9 outlet covers that were faulty due to cheaply non pro fix.

This was not my first time hiring someone that I found on HomeAdvisor and I have never been disappointed. T and T Remodeling did a superb job from gutting the whole bathroom straight through to the finished product. The painter/tile installer was wonderful.

First time use of Home Advisor-Referred contractor gave me a quote for work and asked for 1/2 payment in advance for materials. I gave it to him and got a receipt. Went through 5 promised dates with no show and lots of excuses. I finally asked for my money to be returned and he said he would. After 1 week and no refund I contacted Home Advisor's Customer Solutions Team. They contacted contractor and he told them a check had been mailed. After another week and no check I called contractor and he said he'd look into it and to quit harassing him. HA Customer Solutions team suspended his advertising until complaint resolved. Check was never received and contractor will not return calls nor answer text messages. He had a Facebook page and I found two identical negative reviews posted where he had taken advance payment and never returned. The FB page has since been taken down.

Replaced garage door opener. I am pleased so far with the installation and they are very experienced, professional and courteous. CV DOORS LLC was sending me text messages for the scheduled time and date, the arrival time and also a copy of the invoice... that was nice.

AC unit stopped cooling and heating. Fan worked but no change in temperature. Capacitor needed to replaced. Added a hard stop since this was a newer capacitor--less than 6 months. They cleaned up the unit real well and now family is happy again--priceless.

They responded promptly, arrived on time, completed the project ahead of their promised time and cleaned everything up prior to leaving. I would have no problem recommending them. Larry and his team were very helpful in resolving an issue with the septic tank that we became aware of after the project began.

Rather than getting a Facebook recommendation, I tried HomeAdvisor. You get the first calls almost comically fast, so be ready. I had 3 very solid company reps come give me a bid, and they were like the 3 bears: one really low, one really high (a $1K difference) and one in the middle. I thought they were all very credible, they all gave me great free advice, and I just picked the guy in the middle, who happened to offer some extra work I didn't ask for. I will use HomeAdvisor again next time I have a job that I cannot DIY.

Fixing drip in bathtub faucet required returning for a second day because my tub faucet is from 1960 so WB Dickenson had to hunt down compatible parts. Once plumber Alex had the parts completing the fix took less than an hour on his second visit. Other bathroom shower had no water coming out of it for years--diagnosis: a totally calcified shower head. New shower head was installed.
