I contacted HomeAdvisor twice about water softener installation. Each time I received a list of three potential installers. I then received three calls. The salesmen were friendly and helpful. I like the way the system worked! I had two different installers come out and give me an estimate. Based on cost and installation procedures I made a decision.

Referred me to a competent, knowledgeable, professional, reliable service provider who I have since referred to others. I'm happy with the experience and will use HomeAdvisor for several other projects I have in and around my home. Affordable and glad I used them.

I had 7 yards of mulch and 5 yards of decorative landscaping rock delivered. Ryan and his crew at Cedar Works and Outdoor Services, went above and beyond! They showed up on time and completed the work in a timely, cost effective manner. A++.

Professional and Friendly, Lou arrived on time and went straight to work, he let me know about the problem and in minutes went out to his truck, get the part needed to be replaced, wrote out the receipt and on his way he went.

In October 2015 HomeAdvisor recommended for us very good company for Driveway repair. Job was completed on all 5s Just recently HomeAdvisor found for use company to remove & trim Oak Trees in our backyard. Job was done perfectly. In both cases it was pretty fast and straightforward search from HomeAdvisor.

First time used, easy to use. Recommended contractor was very good and professional. Didn't get email response right away due to the way my e-mail is set up once that was cleared no problem. Would recommend and use again and again.

So far I have had 2 very excellent experiences. It was so easy to find what I was looking for. Both companies over delivered on service and the price was more than fair. I will continue to use HomeAdvisor to find help with renovating my newly purchased home.

Over the years we have used six to eight contractors thru HomeAdvisor from plumbers, electricians, painters, house trim, junk removal etc. All were excellent and we would rehire all. The process was quick, easy and reliable and has saved us countless hours.

Good referrals. Good site. Good time. Beats trying to find out who will do what when or where. Waiting for responses to find out that they do not do what wanted or misunderstood what was to be done. Recalling to get touched in and so forth.

Bathroom sinks and toilet draining problem. Called TCR Rooter & Plumbing on a Sunday and was able to get an appointment scheduled for early Monday morning. The person performing the work was professional, skilled and efficient. We will definitely call them again when the need occurs... and recommend them to others.

I set up to have services provided for my mother to have weekly lawn care... I live in Connecticut and can't do this. They are scheduled to go weekly for 65.00 a trip. I will interested in leave and snow removal this fall and winter. I will be contact them later this year.

Schan was wonderful to work with, He made sure our home is Radon free. He arrived on time and he worked late into the afternoon to finish the job. He returned to replace the original fan with a larger more powerful fan because he felt we needed more air flow through the system.

Had 5 trees removed from backyard and other trees trimmed so power lines would not be threatened. One tree was a very tall pine tree. All of this work was extremely manual in nature and they did a wonderful job.

The amount of work that I was requesting was really small, so using this instead of just a greensheet wasn't worth it. This really only has value for bigger projects. In total the fee for the visit was around 120, but the actual work was a decent price. I recommend trying to do all your little projects at once if you're using this service.

Cleaner Solutions Power Washing was the only 1 of 3 that was quick with their visit and estimate. Class A Painting visited the site, but didn't call back for 5 days. Island Power Washing never contacted us at all... I contacted HomeAdvisor for another project and am not pleased again. Only 1 contractor has contacted us so far and I didn't like his estimate.

Craig was timely on his arrival and even came on SUNDAY! He was professional and quick to complete the work. I would highly recommend him and will use him in the future. This is my first experience with HomeAdvisor and will use this service again.

Generally, I've been happy with the contractors recommended here. They have been prompt in responding for bids. And the work product has been good for the money spent. Replies from contractors came within an hour and one arrived at my house within 20 minutes to provide estimate.

Easy and quick. My garage door wouldn't close on a Saturday. Because of a car accident I was in, I don't have the ability to manually operate the door. My garage door is attached to my house and full of stuff, so I had to get it fixed that day. I don't have tools or the skills to fix it. I wasn't sure how I was going to get my garage door fixed on a Saturday afternoon. I had a solution within 10 minutes using this site and my door fixed by the end of the day for a reasonable rate. This is the first time I have used HomeAdvisor, and I was delighted! My wife backed into our garage door and I was in a jam! HomeAdvisor hooked me up to a garage door installer within seconds! I am happy with the two instances I have hired through HomeAdvisor. Only negative is I have trouble finding what I want. I don't know if it is just me and I am not using the right words for the search engine or if it more broad spread. ie I wanted a couch moved from neighbor to me - I couldn't get any closer than local movers and then sort through those that would come to Apollo Beach for such a small job. It was much harder to locate the services I wanted than I anticipated.

Very responsive contractors. However, 2 of the 3 patio contractors were awful. One wouldn't wait until I could get downstairs and left me a handwritten quote that I could hardly read! The third guy never called me back. If he wasn't interested he should have said so. Sunset Pavers followed through immediately and were great to work with.

Have found their connections to offer reliable, quality service at competitive pricing. Have done 3 deals and earned the $50 incentive but they aren't giving to me since 1 deal was with a roofer for 2 homes. Think that is a poor way to do business. Word is your honor.

Fantastic service. HomeAdvisor gave a great recommendation! I had an issue with plumbing and drains. The contractors that were recommended showed up early and provided excellent customer service. Very happy with quality service. My kitchen sink drain was completely blocked prior to me using homeadvisor. Now It works with no issue. Plus the contractor assessed the issue carefully by inspecting all the plumbing to the sink and checking the condition of the piping as well as the traps. Long story short... excellent service. Danny from Elite drains is the best. A great guy. Very friendly and charged very fair price for services rendered.

We went with one of three referrals, the one who was willing to break the job into 2 phases. The other was more expensive. The third we refused to deal with because they would only estimate the job if they could have my wife here as well. I hold my wife's power of attorney to do any repairs and even buy and sell the property. That was just insulting.

Replacement of Garage door - I hoped that I could get away with a repair. Both of the companies (who came out on a Sunday) pointed out more problems than I had noticed and I decided to go with replacement of my 27 year old garage. The job was completed on schedule by Tuesday. Excellent work and both companies were highly aware that I had gone through HomeAdvisor.

As a Licensed Home Inspector, I once gave HomeAdvisor a shot at boosting my sales volume. They failed to get me any decent leads over several months, despite the fact that I was charged each time (usually once a week) they sent me leads. I later found out this was the same company under a different name I had contracted with and had similar results several years before. In my opinion, this service may work well for Contractors, but does not work well at all when looking for a Home Inspector. Experienced, honest and ethical Home Inspectors stay busy without such a service as this one! The new, inexperienced and cheap Home Inspectors use this service because they can't find work elsewhere. You get what you pay for in Home Inspectors from HomeAdvisor. Consumers beware!

I've used two different contractors on two totally different projects and both contractors I would recommend to my BEST friends. I would recommend both of them in a heartbeat. One removed our old deck and built a fabulous new covered deck that we now consider our new go to place. The other contractor refinished our hardwood floors in the kitchen and dining room. The garage door made a loud noise when closing. The door repair was made by replacing one original bracket with a new stronger bracket. The track was then straightened and the noise eliminated. The only sound heard now is the door opener running when in use.

HomeAdvisor didn't have many recommendations for the Concord area, but a firm they did recommend -- Carolina Septic Pros -- was first rate. We had a pretty severe septic system blockage because of tree roots, and they recommended the remedy and performed the repairs flawlessly. This gives us strong confidence in HomeAdvisor's recommendations.

Removed 35 year old Goodman A/C unit. Replaced the unit with a new Lennox high efficiency unit, replaced all old duct connected to the unit and suspended the new equipment from the roof rafters in the attic. Clean, prompt and efficient.

Very nice man, quick and efficient. The backyard was a big mess with lots of branches down from bad weather. Shrubs were overgrown. Tree branches needed trimming. I was very satisfied with the work that was done in a short amount of time. I will hire this service again in the fall to trim shrubs.

The very first time I tried HomeAdvisor will also be the very last! It really did seem to be too good to believe. I live in southern Florida and the A/C went out. I got on the website to find a repair company and in a matter of minutes had an appointment for first thing the following morning. I sat and waited while my house heated up and no one showed. I called the company that the appointment was made with and was told they tried the call button on the App and didn't get any answer. Meanwhile we were here. I was told due to the number of bogus appointments made by HomeAdvisor unless customer contact is made they don't come. I asked what number they were trying to call and was told they weren't provided that information, just the call back button on the App. Total waste of time!!! I found a company on my own that will be here this afternoon-if this had worked out like I was led to believe I'd have cold air right now!!! Thanks for nothing!
