Air conditioner. I went on Home Advisor and checked the highest rated companies. After submitting what I needed I had a phone call with minutes and a text from another company. They were both very helpful and the problem was fixed the next day!!! I now have recommended Home Advisor to friends. I will use them again.

HomeAdvisor bugged us for over two years to sign up as a service provider. We finally gave in a few months ago and I wish we had held out. This company sends leads to several different contractors, bills each contractor when the lead is sent is does not filter the quality of leads before billing. We have been billed hundreds of dollars for leads who never call us back. When we request a refund of the lead charge, we are almost always denied. When asked for a review or explanation, we are told we will get an email within 7 days with explanation. We never get the refund nor the email of explanation. They are scam artists and are getting rich by screwing contractors.

I found SERVIZ through HomeAdvisor and am very pleased that I did. The service gentleman was extremely knowledgeable, polite and courteous. Christian was on time and totally prepared for the work at hand. I believe he went above and beyond for this particular problem..

Shrub removal. I received 2 responses and they both came in close in price (this time). I went with one because they seemed to offer more services in which I was interested. I am waiting for a quote on another job but will contact H.A. if I don't hear back for new quotes. Thanks HomeAdvisor.

We found a contractor the first day that I signed up on Home Advisor. He did quality work for a fair price just 3 days later. I am very happy. I had removed old tiles in our kitchen backsplash areas. He patched holes, smoothed the services and re-textured to match the other sheetrock in the house.

Filled out the request form for my project and received 3 call backs next business day, each from highly recommended professionals. Chose one and he was easily the most professional contractor I have ever dealt with. I will definitely be using HomeAdvisor again.

Roman replaced some sprinkler heads and got everything back in line. Very hard worker along with his wife and very pleasant to work with... I hit the jackpot with these fine folks. Roman ** owner... is also a handyman and I can't wait to find something for them to do so they can come back.

I didn't know what to do about my roof. It was starting to have so many missing shingles and it did not look good at all. When I saw an advertisement for a roofing company REMODELING MD. I decided to call them. Brian came to my home and explain to me in detail how insurance could potentially pay for the replacement of the roof. In less than 2 weeks I had a new roof and now my house is looking as sexy as ever!! Thank you REMODELING MD. Keep up the good work.

Sspring/fall clean up. Crew of three trimmed all bushes, trees and weeded. Added mulch to all shrub and flower beds. The tress were rather tall and they look great. Their attention to detail was especially good. The crew were very courteous, friendly and efficient. I plan to use their services again.

I had Joe Clean & Seal Concrete Patio, 2 Tile Bathrooms & Foyer. Cornerstone Ultimate Hard Surface Cleaning did a marvelous job in 'renewing' the above items. He was prompt, carefully explained what he could make like new and what he could not. I am extremely satisfied with his work.

Requested painting contractors. I made the request and within 30 minutes had call backs from various contractors. I was able to get quotes and found my painter that day. Did have one who did not return call. I had others call afterwards but all was arranged. Company chosen was professional all around.

Gutter cleaning and power washing - HomeAdvisor provided followup calls and emails to check on projects status and service. Offered phone support to give any assistance I may need. She said she would act as my concierge as the project progressed. She asked if I needed any more Pros to compare and had I received any communication from the ones already provided.

Roofing - Excellent job. His crew was efficient, hard-working, focused and thoughtful. They cleaned up the site after the job was complete. Rick Mott even came to the site after the crew departed to check out how they did. He brought a large magnet to sweep the area for any nails the crew might have missed. Mr. Mott is thoughtful, conscious of what the customer needs and how to fill that need. Rick is a genuinely good listener. HIs pricing was considerably lower than the other companies that bid the job. I highly recommend R J Mott Construction for your project.

When I checked with HomeAdvisor for a cleaning service, I was connected to the best service I have ever used. I would highly recommend Home Advisor when looking for a guide for services to use. I would definitely use them again without hesitation.

I went online to look for a company and within an hour two companies stopped by my house. Each gave me a bid and the job was finished that day. The finished product was great and above what I had expected. I have already hired the company for next year.

A/C yearly maintenance. Henry ** arrived on time and did a very thorough inspection including the temp of the air coming from the inside house ducts. Excellent overall service call. Will use Elite again in the future. Pricing was fair.

I was a little nervous about hiring someone I hadn't heard of but when none of the local electricians here called me back after numerous messages, I decided to try it. Glad I did. He returned my call immediately, set up an appointment at a convenient time and did a great job.

Looked for tree trimmers. Had a list of maybe 4 or 5 in the area but only one replied, CJ Lawn and Tree service. Think I would keep closer track of who actually replied when on the list and if they never reply, take them off Home Advisor.

My husband and I inquired to Home Advisor for a company to cut the limbs off of a tree. Immediately we were given a company. The company gave an estimate that we thought was good. Job was done perfectly. Haved used Home Advisor in the past. I have never been dissatisfied.

Sole proprietor that signed up early this year. I enjoy building decks and thought I’d branch out to different areas. I connected with a representative who set my monthly lead budget to $1000 plus the exact matches. I had gotten one lead and built that deck. At the end of the month I was hit with an $1800 bill. My representative would not respond to any calls, texts or emails and customer service was of no help either; as they would not credit or refund any of the leads because my account was too new.

Pest/Bird Control and siding repair. Had two vendors contact me immediately after posting. One said they no longer performed the service but spent about 10 minutes talking about the issue and providing advice. The second vendor also responded quickly and immediately sent out a worker to give me an antimatter.

HomeAdvisor is ALWAYS my go-to site to find any contractor that I need. The site is very well organized with the appropriate contractors and distances popping up quickly and the reviews that are easy to find for each contractor. This "trust cloud" system of reviews is fabulous because it is very difficult for the lay-person to feel comfortable with a contractor they don't know. They are a true blessing and many thanks!

R/R kitchen sink fast, clean, professional and I would definitely hire them for any future plumbing jobs I may encounter. Today there are too many fly-by-night outfits that would do a sloppy job and charge a fortune... not these guys. They are great.

We were initially put into contact with a few different companies that contacted us right away after receiving the referral from Home Advisor. We hired one that was highly recommended and they did a great job on the projects. We couldn't be happier!

Garage doors, sliding doors and electrical work. Every contractor that I used from Home Advisor was great! Home Advisor is going to be the first contact for work around my house from now on. I only wish I started using them long ago. All the contractors were so friendly, priced the work fairly and cleaned up after the work was complete.

HomeAdvisor was a godsend to me. I had a water leak around an electrical socket and didn't know who to call since I already had roofers, AC techs and plumbers check for my problem with no results or solutions. A representative from HomeAdvisor listened carefully to assess the problem and recommended two excellent mold companies who put me on the path to replace the electric box and repair the part of the wall which had water damage and not tear up the whole kitchen. Thank you HomeAdvisor. I was out of solutions before you helped me deal with the problem.

HomeAdvisor was great and arranged an appointment with Clean Exteriors within a couple of hours. Also, they checked with me later after Clean Exteriors had given me an estimate for the job. HomeAdvisor did a wonderful job of arranging the meeting with the right contractor for my needs. I will definitely use them again in the future for all my household work!!!

I have used Home Advisor numerous times to find companies for my home improvement needs. I used to asked around for good companies through friends, now I go straight to Home Advisor. I have not been let down by the people I hire through them.

The installers did a great job - very thorough and very detailed. They also cleaned up their mess and made sure I was happy before they left. They pointed out areas of need, and they fixed those areas after we discussed them.

We use both HomeAdvisor and Angie's List to find contractors. HomeAdvisor has become my go-to source. I canceled Angie's List due to the contractors listed. Most of them bid 3x the cost of a project. Always gets multiple bids and do review checks on what people are saying about the company. It will save time and money in the end if you research the company first.

Excellent choice of plumbers, and they are hard to come by around south Florida. In the past there have been a couple of 'iffy' recommendations out of HomeAdvisor in the area but this one was a gem. Two of the contacts made an initial call to me then never followed up, but the one that did was the best.

The first repair company we called cancelled the appointment the morning of and never called back to re-schedule. Because we had re-arranged our schedule to be here, we elected to try someone else. The second time we exchanged messages but were never able to reconnect. That's the reason we gave 4 rather than 5. Master Appliance was superb and a terrific reflection of HomeAdvisor.

Hired gutter cleaners. Great advice and wonderful tip. Will use again. Very polite and quick to respond with quote and onsite review. Internal email allows for communication with giving out personal email or phone number. Other recommendations given, but first one shown was great didn’t even need to respond to the rest to get the job done. My job request was finished in less than six hours.

Working with Home Advisor on my small projects has been spectacular, they ask what we are doing, spec out the jobs for bids and send them out to companies. Those companies then provide quotes and when selected, do the work. All of the contractors that we have selected have done a spectacular job, showing up on time, or calling to say something has happened. They have been polite, professional, hard working. This is a great way to find amazing people to do the work that you are looking for.

Got a referral for stump removal and contractor came out and gave me a quote. Said he would return the next day. He did not show that day or the next. He did not respond to my attempts to contact him. Apparently decided he didn't want to do the job or had better opportunities elsewhere. Called HomeAdvisor where the agent immediately began making excuses for the contractors company and wanted to shuttle me to another contractor. I told her I had already done the job myself and that they needed to better vet the contractors they worked with.

Built a wrap around walk way and 38x13 composite deck. Installed white railings on the sides. Worked all day and on the weekends to finish in the 4 days they said they would. Came and cleaned after project was complete.

Stamped and colored concrete patio - It was stamped and colored an orange, brown, red and yellow stain and then 2 coats of sealer were applied.... WOW... I am completely flabbergasted with the results. The impact on my senses is unbelievable. I am really impressed with the workmanship and the terrific guys that accomplished this task. Nuff said!

The followup was great ensuring a call to see had I used one of the contractors identified and was I satisfied. There is a good network of capable contractors willing to reply to your requests. I have looked for some other contractors now thru HomeAdvisor as I consider other work.

Richard **, owner of Premier Connections did an excellent job of installing a highly effective TV antenna in the attic above the garage. He was very knowledgeable, efficent, and accurate in the work he did for us. I highly recommend him as a technical individual who can install high quality antennas and do it in a very quick time at a very fair price.

Kitchen light fixture replacement, kitchen faucet replacement and garbage disposal replacement labor only cost $700.00. The parts and garbage disposal, faucet (Kitchen) is separate, I bought the parts. I have multiple contractors call to bid for my project is very convenient that I can choose who can work for my project the best thing is I am not in a bind with the contractors bidding for the work.

They are good, my only bone of contention is that that prices they make me think things will cost are way lower than what they actually cost. Some of the pros I found through them were good, but some wanted what I considered way too much money for their work.

Over the past 2 years I have requested contractors through this site. 1 or 2 responded after they told me there were numerous contractors interested in doing the work. You're better off going to Lowe's or Home Depot and look for contractors buying materials for their jobs. At least you get to talk to a person.

I have used Home Advisor several times now and it has worked exceptionally well each time. This time there was one small glitch in the initial phase of contacting my pro. The online interface popped a dialogue box saying that the provider did not service my area. That contradicted the initial information and turned out to be inaccurate. Within minutes the provider called me and we made arrangements by phone.

Dig down 4ft. Replace valve to back-flow on sprinkler system. Intake valve leaked. After all it was 5 years old. The new one they had made is good for 50 years. They cleaned everything up as though they were never even there.

Could not match my 1st request. 2nd request, contractor was too busy to help me. Need a window replaced, there was nobody in my area for that specific job, I searched "General Contractors" and contacted the recommendation, who told me he was too "backed up with work to help." He wasn't rude. Just unavailable.

I had several options from plumbers that reached out to me, and the online reviews were helpful. I narrowed it down to 2 plumbers, but Don came out the same day and would have had the job done except for the fact that the water heater we needed was not available at Home Depot or Lowe's and the plumbing supply stores were closed on Memorial Day weekend.

Window and screen washing. Window Genie's representatives, Mike and Austin, were on time, focused on their work, and extremely polite. They had a plan for their work and they were respectful of our home and our property. I will use them again andI highly recommend them.

My first time using Home Advisor. Very easy to find and connect with pros! Needed someone to come out and do an asbestos survey for a garage I am taking down. Had three pros calling me within an hour to talk to about my project and the next day work was completed, which satisfied my I need it done yesterday attitude.

Be prepared to wait a little longer than what is quoted. Remember these people work at different homes needing different things done. Not every project goes 100% smoothly like mine did today. His last appointment took longer than expected, so do not expect them to arrive at the appointed time on the spot. They want to be at your house, so wait for them, they will make you happy because this is their livelihood, they want you to call them back.

I'm very please with using HomeAdvisor to have contractor Dario Contracting Inc to install HVAC system at my place, they did a good job. Tony and his crew was very good and I'm please with the job, would recommend them. I would use this site again.

Great quality of work in a short amount of time, doesn't leave trash behind. Price was better than expected and is very reasonable and honest. Highly recommend!

Prompt service and appeared to do a good job as compared to prior vendors. The technician was friendly and seemed to be very competent. The service was a bit more expensive than other providers but he used different equipment which appeared to do a much better job.

Kitchen Plumbing backup - 20 years of sediment backed up the pipe. Mr Butler came to the rescue!!! I made an online appt directly with Butler's Rooter because of the reviews I read on Home Advisor. I will call Mr Butler for all future plumbing work.

Tree removal - Response was quick. Contractor called and took immediate action. Very pleased. But this evaluation process is an imposition. I am very pleased with the service and response and have said so, I don't like this last demand.

Very good experience. Home Advisor's information about my contractor gave me high confidence he was qualified, and I was more than satisfied. I had a shower that was so filthy it was borderline salvageable; now it has been cleaned and restored to the point that it looks almost new.

I was having trouble finding a contractor to remodel a bathroom. I logged onto HomeAdvisor and found a couple of options. I read all the reviews and felt confident with the person I chose to do the job. He was extremely professional and did an excellent job. HomeAdvisor will be my go-to source.

I have had two projects now that I needed HomeAdvisor to help me find the right contractor. One for home sprinklers and one for home theatre sound. In both cases the list of contractors provided had two stinkers and one home run. While you still need to interview the proposed contractors, being that they came from Home Advisor they expect that they will have to compete so it strengthens the consumer's hand. Fortunately in both projects Home Advisor provided at least one superior contractor so both projects came to a successful conclusion. I will use HA's again.

I requested a repair on a Saturday. I got a call from the contractor in about 3 hours and a schedule the following day, Sunday. Repair was completed that Sunday, and my house air conditioner unit was back in service.

Popcorn ceiling removal (ugh!) - Chris did a great job. The only downside was it took longer than quoted, and we had to live with some mess. Chris apologized and offered to knock off some of the price, but he worked so hard and did such a good job we declined. He also came back afterward to help us with a couple other problems. Each time I've used Home Advisor - in Florida and Massachusetts - I've been contacted promptly by multiple vendors. Those I've contracted with have done a very good job. From trimming palm trees to a home inspection, I've been able to get multiple estimates from solid vendors.

I was dumb enough to request information on replacement window in the Florida Keys. The response was no contractors in my area. I suddenly got bombarded by hundreds of unwanted phone calls from contractors from Miami that thought I was from their area because HomeAdvisor gave them bad information to collect fees from them and piss me off. I will never fill out a form like that again. You should be ashamed.

We'd had a bad experience with a previous contractor who ran away with thousands! With HomeAdvisor, we were able to not only see licensed and qualified professionals, but read reviews of other's experiences with them. Better yet, they were competitively priced to win me over. It was a great experience and the contractor I hired was amazing!

Doctor Granite provided excellent service and excellent work at a very good price. We are extremely pleased with the result. The edges of our countertops not only have been restored to their original good looks, but also have been repaired in a manner that will minimize the potential for future chipping. Roofing project: HomeAdvisor provided me with 5 Pros - all of who immediately contacted me directly to give me an estimate on the work needed. Being new to this area and a single woman I really appreciate, and rely on, having the professional reference of HomeAdvisor! I feel like any of the companies that responded would have done a great job, and I am really happy with the Pro I worked with!

After contacting the company and describing the problem needing to be resolved, a representative came to my home to evaluate the problem. He said that he would write up the job and send me an estimate for the job. I received the estimate dated 3/21/2019. A few weeks later, I was given the start date of May 13/14, 2019. It rained on both of those dates and I was told I would have to be re-scheduled. On May 31, 2019 I was notified that they would not be able to do my project, stating that the men who lay pipe no longer work for them. I am thoroughly disappointed that I was strung along for 2 months and for the time lost waiting to get on their schedule.

It was so easy to use. Got contacts from every contractor we selected. Got what we needed to make right discussion on who to use to install our hot water heater. We will use Home Advisor again for any other projects that come up.

Deck Medic of Missouri responded immediately with an estimate. They established great communication via phone and email. Exact measurements were taken prior to the work.
