Excellent job! I would recommend to anyone that wants a fair quote and competent work staff to service your needs. The job of a new roof and replacing all existing doors in my home with tile was quick and well done!

Not having a guy around the house, I wasn't sure where to begin. I remembered seeing HomeAdvisor advertisements on TV so I thought I would try it. I followed all the stops and in seconds, I was paired up with three companies in my area. I wasn't sure which one but then I started to receive calls from two of them. One I tried to call back and got a busy signal. the other offered a free consult and came within the hour. This site was very helpful and I will definitely use them in the future to remodel my kitchen and bathroom.

Pest eradication from a park owned RV. I just did a search for pest control companies and HomeAdvisor came up with Terminix. I called and a lady with Home Advisor gave me some choices and Terminix was one of them. I called them and the rest is history and so are the wasps.

Needed an exterminator, received 3 calls immediately. Picked company that I felt, after talking to the owner for a while, was the best fit for us. Was found to be an excellent choice! Reasonably priced, did not try to sell you the farm, was prompt, efficient and honest.

I found a very reputable company, Nefty Doors - just by using your website. They were excellent! Quick response for appointment, efficient repair and very fair pricing. I'll be looking to HomeAdvisor in the future when I have projects to get done.

I had called several different termite companies and I also looked on Home Advisor site and they gave me one of the companies I had called. I have used Home Advisor in the past and was always happy with their help.

I have consulted Home Advisor twice for recommendations for home repair and each time have been extremely happy with the professional craftsman they list to chose from on their site. Great to have a resource for repair jobs on my home that I feel confident I will be able to contact not only a reputable person but someone who really knows what they are doing! I logged on here to research a company, picked a company, asked the company to contact me... and they did. So did fifteen thousand other companies over the next few days, well after I told HomeAdvisor to knock it off because I'd already picked someone. The company did great! We liked the company we chose a lot. They get 5 stars. Also, I suspect you're selling people's phone numbers to telemarketers/spammers, because within AN HOUR of putting my phone number in here, I started getting scam calls. Sometimes as many as 6-10 a day. It's insane, it's bad, and I won't be using HA again.

Gas cooktop installation. Received 3 top-rated companies for my project within minutes of email. The two I called were professional and each gave me free quotes. I have used HA for years and have had good experiences throughout the years. I will go back to Home Advisor with my next project.

My yard was covered with think weeds, vines and small trees. I put in my request and within 10 minutes I received a reply. Met with the owner, received and estimate. The work was completed within 24 hours. Home Advisor put me in contact with a professional landscaper who did excellent work. I will contact HA again when I need work.

Wasn't sure what item to check on replacing the chimney (what covered this item). Did a lot of looking around at diff. sites. Happy I found Superior stone and got an estimate right away and did the job three weeks later.

Gave good recommendations and they were local. Included all pertinent information so it was easy to make appointment. I would use again for any future projects that I have. Also it was easy to access reviews from previous jobs performed.

The minute I sent out the request, I received numerous calls from companies offering their services. I did select one company to provide weekly service and, so far, I am more than pleased with the service I received. I got a complete report about the pool's and equipment's condition (I am new to owning a pool). Costs seems reasonable.

I really like this site. I got a follow up call after my first experience, and the gent who called was just beyond professional. They didn't try to sell me anything, they were making sure I was satisfied with the work I had done. That's - insane for a website aggregator of services to do. Like - actually insane. It was customer service in a world where you're lucky to get a glib, one question survey with a smiley face as an option for an answer. So I'm into this whole HomeAdvisor site. I'll use them again. And again. And again...

Mike came out and scoped out the job and sent me an estimate a few days later. The original estimate was to paint the walls also but my wife changed her mind and wanted to do it herself and again changed her mind and now wants Mike to come and do it. His crew and him, he came out too, and explained everything they were going to do before they did it. They covered everything up that could get damaged I was also there to help move furniture and anything else that had to be taken care of. His professionalism was outstanding and if there was ever a doubt as to what had to be done he would ask first before doing it.

I called via Phone the home advisor site. I was looking for a local business to repair a window screen. I told the rep I did not want people CALLING or TEXTING me and she assured me no one would call or text! The rep said her job was to give me the local businesses so I could call them directly. She wasn't able to find a business that would repair one screen. I have been inundated with texts for things I never requested ever since I spoke to the rep. I have unlicensed contractors texting me, needless to say I will never trust anyone that has anything to do with this website!

I have found the professionals hired from Home Advisor, are reliable and reviews are accurate. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five, was I only ran into one, who overbooked himself, and could not stay on schedule. However, my experience with Home Advisor, has been very good. I always use this site to hire anyone for projects, big and small, will continue to use Home Advisor, and recommend them.

I was doing a Google search for an antenna installer and the HomeAdvisor site popped up first. I'd not used them before and decided to fill out the form. I was linked up with an excellent company that came out that very afternoon to start the work. I was extremely satisfied with the results... excellent installation with an antenna that's giving me excellent results... Better than I was able to get on my own with an internal antenna.

We needed someone reputable, experienced, and dependable to repair my great-grandmother's New Home sewing machine cabinet; however, we had no idea how to find this entity. HomeAdvisor gave us two possibilities that were difficult to choose between. Both shops' owners called promptly and gave informed opinions over the phone, sight unseen. We chose the shop closer to us, but would have had no qualms going with the other.

In the past couple months, I have used HomeAdvisor three times. I have been completely satisfied with all three companies I used. All the men I dealt with were of good character, respectful, on time, and did a good job!

Once they sell a pro the subscription, your salesman disappears. They have NO channel of communication with any person from HA for subscribers. They base lead generation and any feedback to them on very poor algorithms-their leads can be bogus, duplicates, not for your category, etc. and you still pay. TERRIBLE COMPANY. They reinvented themselves with a new name after they developed a bad reputation as SERVICE MAGIC.

Very pleased with Home Advisor. Contractor lists are very good and in addition, needed to call Home Advisor since I needed additional names for a tile project and had the pleasure of speaking with Alivia at Home Advisor who helped find me additional contractors!

Had a bathtub removed so the drywall needed replaced and repaired. Also requested an outlet in the new wall. All work was completed, the room cleaned and baseboards and moldings replaced. Walls were prepped for painting. Will most likely use Home Improvement Specialist of WNC again for future projects.

I filled out the online request form on HomeAdvisor explaining exactly what I needed done--taking down a tall, dead pine tree near my house. Within ten minutes of posting the request, I got a call from one service, then shortly later from another. HA obviously has a very efficient system for transmitting the job requests to potential service people, who reply quickly. I contracted with one company to do the tree removal and by noon on Saturday, the old pine was cut down and hauled away. I will definitely use HA to hire other professionals to do work for me because I know they are trustworthy and effective.

I was able to contact 2 tree services and they got back to me quickly. Both companies were polite. I was happy with the company I chose and going through HomeAdvisor made the process much easier. Instead of researching and calling dozens of companies, they actually reached out to me.

Vent cleaning. Julius was a great tech. He explained to us while working, the whole process and why he was doing it. He made us feel that we could trust him to do the job. He was also really friendly and a fun person to chat with. Thank you, Julius, for a job well done!

I needed help immediately on Sunday, during Labor Day weekend, while everyone was preparing for Hurricane Dorian. I called quite a few companies I found via Google, but none could help (one offered to, but I never heard back from their local office, and that wasted a lot of time). HomeAdvisor found me two professionals, both of whom offered to take care of a wasps' nest behind one of my hurricane shutters. One wasn't sure if/when he could get to my home, but the other took care of the problem for me, and the cost was very reasonable, especially given the timing.

We accessed HomeAdvisor for the first time needing asphalt repair. We were given a repair date and time and no one showed up or called on the day. We contacted HomeAdvisor and they said no one picked up the job. We told them this was horrible service when they don't let us know by calling or emailing that no one will be coming out. We will never use them again!

Have used Home Advisor for finding contractors for several jobs and have been pleased with the contractors that have been provided. Will use them again to find reputable contractors for any future jobs that we may have in the future.

My AC unit was leaking water on a Sunday. Went to the internet, looked up Home Advisor & selected AC repair & requested someone call me. It was less than 2 minutes when I received a call from signature heating & cooling. They advised that they would be at my house in 2 - 3 hours but were here in one hour excellent service.

Yard landscape estimate. Only had two contact me and only one followed through. Very happy with what we ended up with based on the reviews but really would have liked to have had more interest. Thought there would be more and requested more estimates from various contractors.

This company is nothing but problems. Don’t waste your time with them. First I get a call from sales team asking me to join the network, and then I’m told about a deal that is good until today at 1PM. So I called in with plenty of time to enroll before 1PM and get a voice message saying to leave a message, but you can’t leave a message because the voicemail is full. And then call the person that emailed me about the deal, with no answer so I leave a voice message. I also then try to use a link that they gave me in a email to finish payment information by 1PM, their system had errors and did not let me do that.

I am a Roofing Contractor that used HomeAdvisor for leads. Whenever a homeowner uses their site to look for contractors to complete their projects, then, the homeowner completes the application, and it gets sent to 4-5 different contractors for a cost of $100-$150 per lead no matter if the homeowner answers their phone or not? I tried to call to cancel my account since the leads are not worth the time to receive them.

Going through HomeAdvisor was way easier than searching Google for insulation installers, reading reviews, comparing vendors, calling around for quotes, etc. HomeAdvisor followed up with me to make sure my project was on track and gave me a specific person to contact in case there were any issues or I needed additional assistance. Will definitely use their service for my next big project!

I have used Home Advisor several times in the past 8 years. I usually can get three quotes that provide me a good range of professionals to do the work I need in my home. While I've not done any remodeling, I would certainly use Home Advisor again for their contractors. Most of the professionals have given me written quotes, but those who haven't, I won't hire them.

Colonial Masonry and chimney Corp were very thorough, professional, polite and prompt for my chimney cleaning and recommended to change my cap (animal guard). The old one was 26 years old. I appreciate it the work that Ken did and he took pictures so that I could see!

Lawn trimming. A Lot of trimming needed and they did a good job. We are happy with the results. They are fast and don't miss anything. I would recommend this team to all friends and family and any neighbors. They also blow off all excess debris and trimming.

I'm finding that Home Advisor is very easy to use. I'm getting very fast responses from the contractors and have hired via the site for all of my projects. I'll continue to use for other projects around the house. Only request is to have more contractors to choose from plus offer incentives to home owners to write reviews so we get higher sample sizes. Replace pump and also discovered tank was also bad. They had everything with them to do the complete job. They came to do the job 24 hours after they were contacted. I am very pleased with their fast and very professional service.

Moving services. Very quick and responsive. Calls immediately started coming in to offer services. Be ready for that. When I inquired about locksmith services I only requested contact information yet the call started coming in anyway. Annoying. If I want services then I expect calls. If I am just inquiring, I don't want calls.

Replaced existing toilet and fixed lift valve in another toilet. Came within 1 1/2 hours of my call, tried lower costs options, and explained remedy plan adequately and clearly. Cleaned up the limited mess, and explained anticipated future maintenance and repairs.

Only exterior was painted. Happy to have checked with https;//www.homeadvisor.com. first. Felt very comfortable after knowing that I had gone with HomeAdvisor. 2 color paint on my house was done real good. The pro. protected the surrounding plants around the house.

Generator maintenance. Recommendation and review gave me the right person. Having five star reviews almost guaranteed that the person who was recommended knew what he was doing. Have used Home Advisor in the past and have always been satisfied. Will definitely use again.

Dryer repair. Easy to use - would like to see a few more options but I realize I live in a small area. This was a great first experience though. When I have more time, I will use this service as I have many small projects I would like to do.

I was provided by several contractors, but went with the first to respond because of the attention to what was needed and the suggestions to implement and remedy my current state of irritation with my current (now last) contractor. Two lift cables snapped and were replaced. Anthony pointed out that rollers needed replaced for safety and noise reasons, which he did. He quoted a replacement un-insulated metal door at $1,300 installed, and offered to apply today's $355 repair charge as a deposit if purchased within one week. I appreciate the quality repair and the option to purchase a new door using the cost of today's repair as a deposit.

He was on time, VERY knowledgeable, and gave a good price. I hired him on the spot. He had everything necessary to fix my problem and was done in 30 minutes. Good experience all around. Good Contractors were recommended through HomeAdvisor. The HomeAdvisor site is easy to use. I was reluctant to use this type of service since I did not want endless junk mail and calls after disclosing my email and phone number. The contractors recommended were very competent.

Our first handyman had great reviews on HomeAdvisor but when he looked at our small project, he gave us a really high estimate. We told him it was too much ($3,000) and that we were going to get more estimates. He then cut his quote to $1,400 - $1,800, but we told him we were still looking. Later, as I was on the phone with the man we hired, the first one texted me "Can you do it for $750?" Said his first quote was a joke. Not funny. He was totally going to rip us off if we hadn't said anything. So even with good reviews on HomeAdvisor, check references/reviews really good. Otherwise, we were very pleased with the man we hired from HomeAdvisor and it only cost us $600.

Central a/c unit went down on a 100 degree day and HomeAdvisor found me someone within 15 minutes. Fixed the next morning. The price was more than reasonable, actually less than I expected. I would not have found this company without HomeAdvisor.

I love HomeAdvisor. It is quick and I find good people fast. I have had at least 5 projects done and most were completed on time and with reliable people. At first, I would receive too many calls but learned how to set my notifications.

After calling them, Harrison was immediately giving advice about how soon he could give me an estimate. The price was very good and the work was exceptional. He was able to finish the project without any problems. Felt very at ease dealing with him. Very professional and personal to deal with. Unlike most companies.

I used this service to find a company to pour a concrete slab to place my camper on. Not very many options were presented, probably due to the rural location of the job, but I did find someone to do the job.

Chimney Cleaning. First time user of HomeAdvisor - things went very well. Burn Clean was the name of the suggested vendor. They arrived quickly and performed their work professionally. After cleaning and inspecting the chimney we asked if they could add a chimney cap - which they did.

Home Advisor takes the guess work out of hiring a professional. The fact that these companies are pre-screened saves so much time on checking credentials. The businesses that are truly interested will contact you immediately which takes the hassle out of calling several contractors and hearing from none! I had a limited time and short notice to unpack more than 50 cardboard boxes with hundreds of books and another 20 boxes of kitchen stuff and clothes after I moved, to prepare for the complex's new exterminator to do the apartment. They helped me (doing most of the work) by bagging the contents and arranging the bags so the exterminators could do their work on schedule.

It's a pleasure to write this review. From the initial meeting to the end of the project, contractor John and his staff were professional and had a commitment to detail in their work. They were always on time. John listened to my concerns and was able to give innovative approaches to my design plan. This included helping me to pick out tile at the store. His patience is a virtue. They made sure that I was happy with the progress of the work. My bathroom required drywall repair, removal and installation of new lighting, tile of bathroom floor which needed some repair, tile of shower walls with underlayment and more. The end product is absolutely outstanding. Their pricing was reasonable. I am already planning to hire them again for a kitchen update. I highly recommend this company.

They texted 2 local electricians and contacted a 3rd who had not set up text alerts. Both the electricians texted contacted me within 2 hours, and one was able to make the repair immediately. The 3rd contacted me Monday morning. I would use again. The people contacted were local and all had high ratings for quality and reputation.

My sister and I are very satisfied with the company that I hired as he was professional, consulted on the property by walking it before mowing, and did a great job as he picked up all the limbs on the lots first before he mowed and disposed of them where was asked and trimmed all lots.

Used HomeAdvisor to identify three water softener/water filtration providers in Southern Maine. Needed to add a system to improve our well water (high manganese & iron). Two of the three providers responded to my request for quote. Compared the respective systems and ultimately choose an aeration system. Provider (Marquis Well & Pump) was responsive, timely, and very professional.

The contractor is very professional with presentation of the project to be done and kept in touch with me by phone or email, since property is a rental property. They started the renovation as scheduled and finished it in 4 days. We had a little misunderstanding about replacement of the metal trim since he did not include it in the contract but, in the end, it was done without additional cost. We are very pleased with the job!

I checked the HomeAdvisor website and then called looking for a chimney sweep in my area - after I had searched the web and come up empty. My first complaint is that I had to give a street name for my widowed mother before they would give me any chance of them contacting a Pro on my behalf. The town she lives in is not that big! A business around here will know if it's in their service area, they don't need a specific street name to figure that out. I refused to give them her contact information; I used my own name and phone number to keep her information safe. She's a widow. I'm not going to be giving out that information to just anybody. They also suggested that she could simply go online to their website and check on the process - after I had explained that I was making contact because my mother does not have a computer.

Home Advisor is a great asset to find reputable contractors. Our garage door had an old opener without the safety features of today's garage door opener's so we need a firm that specializes in the installation of garage doors and openers. We found a couple immediately with Home Advisor and hired one immediately. We now feel safe knowing that our door can not harm a child or animal passing through the doorway. The only thing I ask is less text, emails and phone calls from Home Advisor. Other than that, they are great tool to have in your toolbox!

Clearing bathroom sink drain. I made a request and before I even completed the online form a plumber called me! So the response was incredibly speedy. Also, the plumber was able to do the work the very next day. Lastly, the person was courteous and explained everything.

Then I have to go to their website to fill out their forms to get service... then even though I decide NOT to use them, they spam me with email upon email??? I appreciate the prompt responses from pros in my area, and a way to get good service that I am sure I will not need to repeat because of poor performance issues.
