Very rapid response from several vendors via email and phone. Multiple vendors have always contacted me. Recommend the service. Especially when you are tight on time or don't have contacts to help with recommendations.

I am most pleased with the excellent performance of HomeAdvisor in providing professional contractors for my home requirements. I have used them for electrical, painting, house cleaning and landscaping jobs and have been well satisfied with all of the work performed.

I have found reputable contractors on HomeAdvisor and used 2 of them with very good experiences. This is a great service, especially when new to the community and have no other recommendations. I have told many friends to do their homework before starting any project and HomeAdvisor is one of the first places to start gathering that info.

I used Home Advisor for someone to cut down a tree. I scheduled with 3 companies and confirmed the estimate appointments via the email HomeAdvisor sent me. Not one of them showed up to give me an estimate. I was sent emails with phone numbers to contact the companies. Only one responded and said he’ll come out at a different time. He never showed up. I will never use HomeAdvisor again.

C.M. Electric was great. I needed a light in my kitchen replaced, I called so many contractors and no one seemed interested since the job was not too large. Cliff from C.M. Electric called when he said he would. Cliff was on time, very detailed, did a great job. The fee was very reasonable. I will definitely call on him again in the future. I highly recommend him.

Water Heater Install & Home PEX Re-Plumb - I would say it was refreshing to work with a company that was honest and employee's local hard working people in SWFL. As a younger homeowner I feel like some business try to take advantage thinking that I am unaware of the value. Ed was very straightforward and honest with me on what I could do and costs and options to get what I was looking for and I appreciate it. Plus the cost was very competitive with other options and much more reasonable than other bigger companies that wouldn't install some of the options I asked for. I would absolutely work with them again for any of my plumbing needs.

Was easy to find the a good company for the work I wanted done. I have used HomeAdvisor one other time and was satisfied with the job that was done. Squeaky clean did a great job and very happy with my window cleaning.

Electrical problem. I found 2 companies on Home Advisor. The first that I used failed, but charged asking that I sign a form before starting the work that I was satisfied. Lovelady came out few days later and fixed my problem, as well as corrected further error made by the first. Lovelady is the one to use.

This is my first time using Home Advisor and it was a very seamless and positive experience. You put me in contact with a top notch pressure washer and it was overall a great experience. I had at least three different businesses get with me, but I went with the first one because I liked his approach. I will use this service again.

They cancelled the first 2 appts. timely and always rescheduled. Appt. 3 was different. The 3rd appt. was made 6 days ago. The night before the 3rd appt. was to happen, they cancelled again. The lady I was talking to explained that they were trying to find a consultant who would drive from Atlanta to Macon. She was very courteous, as I was also. But, I told her very nicely not to bother. The phone went dead... no goodbye, no nothing. WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY...

We had a terrifically rewarding experiencing with Richard ** of Royal Dinette in Perth Amboy, NJ. We have 5 solid oak swivel dining chairs that needed repair and a new look. Richard was knowledgeable on how to repair them and understanding of their value to us. He was patient helping us find the right color as I wanted them painted red! In fact he made two trips to our house with the chair parts until we found the right red. Now we have a totally new look and still enjoy the comfort of our old chairs. We highly recommend him and are very thankful for having found him through HomeAdvisors.

Decided to try HomeAdvisor on a whim and completely satisfied with the results. Was very easy to use, had people reach out right away same day I posted. Would totally tell others to use this service, made it simple and easy.

We have been very pleased with the companies we have found through HomeAdvisor. The companies have been responsive and fair in their pricing. The work they have done has been top notch with little to no mess to cleanup. Homeadvisor employees have called with contact information for vendors.

I signed up to use HomeAdvisor's leads to help start my company from the ground up. After 5 days of service I called to cancel my account as I was completely dissatisfied with their services. Fast forward 4 months later and I receive an email about needing to pay them roughly $1400 or I will be sent to collections. I called to inquire how this could be if I cancelled my service and they said they clearly see where I have made no responses to leads they have sent nor logged in, however instead of canceling my service they placed my account on a 90 day hold and resumed sending me leads.

I made arrangements to have a landscaper come to my home to give an estimate and a time to come to do the work. He came, he gave me the estimate and the time to do the work. Unfortunately it rained.. SO another time and date were set.... Today at 2:00 p.m. March 28. It is now 3:00 p.m. NO SHOW. NO CALL. Now the HOMEOWNERS ASSOC will be on my back for a weed filled yard that was to be taken care of by HomeAdvisor's recommendation. So much for HomeAdvisor.

I never liked trying to find who to call. HomeAdvisor helps with that almost too much. Several calls would rather get e-mails. I wish the business would give ball park estimates. I don't like having to set up app for estimates even if they are free.

I was hesitant at first to use an online site for our project. We really needed help with our yard cleanup and decided to throw caution to the wind and give it a try. I had a response within 10 minutes of posting. Very happy with the overall experience.

Remove old flower beds, remove branches, remove leaves, remove cement blocks, very good job, I will hire him again for fall yard work. Very pleasant. Hard worker. Very pleased with his work. So glad to find someone, since I am new to the area. HomeAdvisor was excellent. No problems.

Great experience, couldn't be happier. The Professional HomeAdvisor had called me for the security camera install was very professional and very knowledgeable in his work and installation process. The work was done in an orderly manner and completed in a very reasonable time.

I hired a painter using HomeAdvisor. He damaged my personal property ($1,800) and refused to provide his liability insurance which all contractors supposed to have in order to be registered with their site. I have contacted the HomeAdvisor, filed a complaint and requested contactor's insurance information. I was told they will contact me in 2 days... Today is Thursday and I have not received a call or email from them. Next move will be a complaint with BBB.

There was popcorn ceiling in both my kitchen and dining area. Though that type of ceiling was outdated to some I did want to reserve; however it was recommended that it would be better to have a smooth ceiling instead. I was told what the procedure would be and it seemed reasonable. There had been a couple of areas I was especially concerned about but I was assured that would be resolved with everything being finished in a couple of days. Well, that didn’t happen.

The yard hadn't been cleaned up in the Fall, they removed leaves and branches, edged and mulched. It looks great. I've also hired them to mow. When they arrived they went to work and only stopped to ask if there was anything else I wanted them to do. Having used other services I can say HomeAdvisor sent the best with Osachuk's Landscaping.

Nest Thermostat Installation. The company communicated well, showed up on time, provided a professional resources, did the work in a timely manner, and did the work required. Could not have asked for anything more. I'd look to have them do any additional work if I have a need.

I was in need of a plumber. HomeAdvisor gave me a list of three in my area, I got one quick response and set up an appointment for the next day. Agreed to have job done and it was done that same day; to my satisfaction. Prior to dealing thru HomeAdvisor I had been counting on hearing from "a friend of a friend" which never happened. HomeAdvisor proved to be a good referral source and will use them again.

I had no idea how to get a plumber. I called ones that friends recommended but they were all busy. I entered the information on HomeAdvisor, they gave me one name rather than a million (which is good). I called that plumber right away and they already had my information from HomeAdvisor so I didn't need to re-describe my project. The plumber was able to come to my house the next day (it was an urgent but not emergent need, so that was perfect). It was a great experience. My only negative feedback is that now I am getting a bunch of HomeAdvisor emails.

Providers listed. When I did search on next day, got totally different results. Made it hard to re-check suggestions to make final decision. When I did another search, got more different results listed. I mistakably called the wrong provider to book the job because I didn't write down the details of my initial contact call. Don't understand why the list would be different...

They did a really good job on my roof and siding. The price was the best quote I got and the work itself was great. However, communication was poor. The day the sales representatives came to my house was the day I signed the contract. I was informed by them that there was 1 project in front of mine, so it may take a few weeks, but they'd be in touch with me and were ordering all the supplies that day. Five weeks went by and I hadn't heard from them so I reached out to them (this was on a Thursday) and was informed they were coming on Monday.

I have used HomeAdvisor several times and never disappointed. I know that I will always get quality service from qualified professionals. It is very difficult to make sure that The people you hire to work on your home are honest.

Thank you for your help in my urgent project (furniture removal). I looked around and tried to find the best pricing. I found this company through HomeAdvisor.. The company I chose was very diligent in working with me on this small project and treated me very well. I would recommend this site.

I got three recommended professionals, and the one I chose came the next day, was very thorough, found the problem and did an excellent job at a very fair price. He was quick and neat and left no mess whatsoever. The others were also very professional, even though I did not choose them.

He was prompt, skilled and informative about what needed to be done. Can't say more than this. He did an excellent job. His helper is his son and they worked very well together. Came in the morning and worked until the job was done. Cleaned up nicely even though the weather was less than ideal.

I was able to find an electrician within 24 hours to come out and take a look at what the problem was. It is a great service and very helpful. I too am a member of Home Advisor so I wanted to see how the services worked on the customer side.

I can always count on HomeAdvisor to provide several resources for jobs that I have. I've been generally happy to extremely satisfied with the companies I've chosen. HomeAdvisor takes time to be in touch and stay in touch to make sure you are satisfied with the process.

I spent 15 minutes loading information about a bathroom remodel project involving carpentry, plumbing, drywall, and tiling, plus dodging all of their attempts to sell me other projects, and HomeAdvisor came up with only 2 possibilities, Sears (going out of business) and a countertop sales outfit. I am not impressed with their service.

I used one of your recommended service providers, they did a good job but their customer service was slow at responding. Once this was reflected in my review the company contacted me and addressed the remaining issues. Thank you Home Advisor.

Plumbing - Toilet Repair. Needed a plumber to do some work and needed it done really quickly. Did not have time to do online searches or call around, so trusted Home Advisor to be able to quickly provide a list of local professionals and get me in touch with them quickly, and they did exactly that, so I am well pleased with the service.

Used them 2x with satisfactory results. Once for plumbing work once for sod. Horry Boys machine removed the old grass and added enriched top soil. Installed Bermuda grass that was certified. Filled in all the spots and rolled the glass flat. I inspected their work and approved it.

Repaired light that fell from kitchen ceiling. Very pleased as they were prompt and courteous not to mention truly professional. If anyone needs someone in an emergency this would be the company to call. We hope this review helps. Thank you.

I needed repairs on my "mobile home" but most of the companies who contacted me (although I asked that I be the one to contact companies on my own) were for "home" repairs". Needless calls to my home from companies not able to help my situation.

Found a floor contractor with Advisor. Very happy with the job. Came promptly for the estimate, did the work quickly as scheduled, and the floors look even better than I had hoped for. Would recommend AGW floors in Guilford, CT to anyone needing a prompt, professional job.

Had I mice problem in the home. Big Head gave thorough inspection to find sources of entry and travel of rodents. Offered suggestions on what needed to be done to better prevent their travel and entries into the home. Found the source, repaired and sealed areas where rodents traveled and set baits. Very pleased with their work and service. Promised to return and a few weeks to inspect and check for any further activities. Also gave upfront cost/estimates after the inspection.

I was able to submit my work requirements and the professional called within ten minutes. He was professional and personable. He was able to fix the issue in less than two hours. He made suggestions on how I could fix other issues and estimates of time for him to fix bigger issues in my yard. Your system works great.

My request was forwarded to 3 of your recommended service providers, with a prompt reply from one yardman within a day. Work was then quickly scheduled and professionally, and efficiently done. Yardman was very personable & professional, and fees charged were very reasonable.

HomeAdvisor has a good reputation, and most of the contractors we have hired through HA have been pretty good. HA's follow up when you initially start your project is nice. I hope they continue with that practice. Hope this helps future residential projects. Good luck!

This was my first time using HomeAdvisor. I put in all my needs and was given three companies' information. The reviews for two of them were very good, so I checked them off. One of them got back to me within an hour, came out right away and arrived the following day to complete the job. I'll definitely use HomeAdvisor again.

Almost New is a one man operation. He is very professional, courteous and thorough. My husband was very pleased with his work and the fact that he is a Christian. He even gave us recommendations for how to remove older stains that he could not get. I would definitely hire him again.

HomeAdvisor connected with a company in a matter of minutes for a gravel delivery project. The company rep, Josh, did a great job going over my specific project and determining how much gravel I would need and quoted me a good price. He then arranged for the delivery of the gravel at the time requested. I would use them again.

This company is horrible. I have been harassed by these people for months. I have told them numerous times I am not interested in their services and to remove me from their call list and they will not stop calling me all hours of the day and evening. Most unprofessional people I have ever encountered.

I was looking for a company that did Radon testing and installed mitigation systems. I stumbled upon HomeAdvisor. I had never used it before. I was very impressed with how quick and easy it was to find resources and be contacted by them. I will use the source again for other projects!

On 3/25/19 Joshua asked me about the pavers I was looking for. I said this was for a condo parking lot with about 7 potholes to be filled in. He said he'd get back to me with those in my area 33441 who would do that work and not the entire lot. I gave him 4 stars yesterday after talking with him, but 1 star today as he never called or emailed me. Unless pros contact me personally, I guess your people are no help.

Great company - have used them twice and the results have been better than what I expected. Had brick cleaning done and now air ducts cleaned. The companies HomeAdvisor use are great and trustworthy. Would recommend them to everyone.

I've used HomeAdvisor for at least 6 projects or more. They are my go-to for projects. I live alone and have been a home owner for almost 7 years. HA makes it easy to get quotes and make decisions about who to choose for projects. I have been happy with the outcomes of all the companies that I have chosen from HA.

I was quite surprised at how easy and quick this website worked. I have never gone through them before, and when I put in a quick request of what I was looking for, it immediately connected me to that person, not an answering service!!! I was very impressed. It reminded me of that "old fashioned" service we use to get when I was younger!!!

Joshua ** was very professional and friendly and completed repair of dryer vent satisfactory. My only complaint would be that he showed up the first day unprepared and so had to complete the job on his return on day two.

Viking vent and motor cleaned to perfection. And dryer vent cleaned. Viking could not recommend a solution to the problem of their product, but HomeAdvisor's company Usasupreme completed the tasks to our full satisfaction. Company was on time and worked very clean.

HomeAdvisor referred me to an electrician who had been been suspended from their account 3 years prior. I was unaware of this until he took $100 from me for a parts deposit and then subsequently never returned by phone calls, texts or voicemails. When I alerted HomeAdvisor, they did not know how I got connected with the suspended electrician and said there was nothing they could do about my money and that I would need to take it up in small claims court. I would never have used that guy if it wasn't for HomeAdvisor's referral in the first place.

“Edgar” days 1-3 excellent to good. Jobs given after good review terrible. Replaced stone in apron. Stone still out covered in cement, cement running out of apron space. Fixed curtain rod subsequently came out of wall, didn’t know to use molly bolts. Missing clippers after use. Incapable of doing simple tasks without direction. Brought helpers doubling initial price.

Peter ** is Awesome!!! When I contacted HomeAdvisor looking for an inside painter, he called me within the hour. Within a week he came over and started painting. He did a beautiful job. He was very friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable leaving my house for a couple of hours and my 2 pugs loved him. He has since done another project which turned out great. His prices are very fair and I highly recommend him!!

Provided a list of qualified tree trimmers. Most on the list responded to my request for bids in spite of the fact that it was a very busy time for them because of extensive storm damage in the Olympia area.

I hired JSW to install a new hot water heater. Joe was very professional and knowledgeable, offering tips to make appliance last longer. Joe does what he says he will do. I simply Googled "electrician near me" and found HomeAdvisor. After that the rest was easy. I was contacted by three certified electricians who came to my home and provided estimates. The project was completed within days of my original search. Couldn't be happier.

I used HomeAdvisor for 2 emergency repairs with in the last 12 months. 1st was a total A/C breakdown in September and then a water heater valve failure in February. I used HomeAdvisor to select recommended repair/installers. I did my search after hours and called several company's during closed hours. In both circumstances the first company that called me got the job and completed it satisfactory. I only did it this way because I am confident HomeAdvisor gives me a good list to select from.

Putting me on to Al's Paving saved me serious money and talking with Al prior to receiving his bid, I learned details of the work that others did not explain. Our conversation and early measurements found previous numbers had been deceptive. It was a blessing to have worked with Al and the job he did for me. This was accomplished thru using HomeAdvisor (for the first time).

I needed someone to visit my home to drain the fire sprinklers. I went to Home Advisor, and they recommended someone. After doing so, they reached out to me and followed up with the progress of my request. I will definitely contact them again.

I needed a tree removed and they quickly found someone for me. I will use this service again for a kitchen and bathroom remodel. I found it difficult to find a reliable contractor but this allows you to see the experiences of others before spending your own hard earned money.

HomeAdvisor was a terrific way to find a great -- I emphasize great - company to help us with a broken water heater problem. It was fast, and the companies that were presented were all good. The one we chose to work with was really outstanding. HomeAdvisor's format for searching was very user-friendly and provided relevant results.

I was pleasantly surprised that it worked out so well. On my own, I could not find anyone who would do any work in Quinlan. I found a very good handyman that I will definitely use again. It was very easy and very successful. Next, I am going to look for an electrician.

HomeAdvisor sells a lead service to contractors, while offering a free quick form for homeowners (or anyone else dreaming about doing a project one day), but fails to truly disclose what the homeowner is signing up for. They will send leads out from virtually anyone, whether they own the home, provide any details as to what they are looking for, realize they are actually requesting contractors to call them, and it's confusing to the user. They have no idea they are actually listing a project and are generally shocked by the phone call if they accept it. They will even ask HA to stop the calls and say it's a mistake, but HA doesn't think that would warrant a return of the $100++ fee charged to the contractor. Any complaints about their service renders a very busy contractor a long lecture about how they should update their profile and recognize that this is traditional advertising, you win some you lose some.

I have no comment to add other than what was made on my review of the roofing company and the owner. I am a homeowner who needed a new roof and the person who was advertised on Home Advisor did a great job. I highly recommend the roofing company, M. Thomas Construction when someone's roof needs to be repaired and/or replaced.

We signed up in March of 2017 paid and start up fee and started to receive leads for our irrigation company. In general I am a sales trainer and have been involved with businesses that buy third party leads and I understand in most industries that a 12-15% closing ratio is good, but I get better than average results because I understand it's a lead, not a customer, not a guaranteed job. It's my responsibility to turn the lead into customer then into a job by following a SALES process by calling, emailing and texting the customer relentlessly until they respond, once they respond I set up an appointment to meet.

I am a self employed painter and work exclusively through word of mouth since 1984. My customers love me but as I am 54 I would like to get more interior and do less exterior work. HomeAdvisor contacted me and so I listened to their pitch. It sounded too good to be true. Only getting me the work I wanted where I wanted. I told the woman I would think about it. I was called back by a manager who pushed so hard I had to hang up on him. As a perfectionist I have no problem attracting clients who love me.

Replacement gutters - FlorRite (David) was prompt in responding and showed up on time. His team did quality work with quality material. They left the property totally clean as if they were not even there. We are totally happy with service and product.

Placed a request for an electrician to come and replace the panel in my home. Waited and never got a reply. Had to go out to find my own company and hire them. A week later I get an email from HomeAdvisor asking my experience. I said no one ever contacted me. The next day my phone starts getting blown up by a very pushy electrician wanting to come to my house. Told him I hired another company and he wanted to know when I contacted HomeAdvisor cause he wanted a refund for my job. I guess that's how they get their money selling our info. Anyways HomeAdvisor waited over a week to let people know I was looking for an electrician. Won't use this service again.

I had a really good experience. The follow up from the HomeAdvisor representatives was a nice touch. I was also connected with the right supplier. I am very happy with the finished product, and HomeAdvisor made it easy for me to find the right company for the job.

Came to look for a landscaper in my area. They say they screen these companies, but unfortunately found numerous companies they want to refer you to that have suspended licenses in Arizona. What is the point of using them, when they don't actually take the leg work out for the consumer. Glad I checked these companies prior to calling them. It is illegal for them to be contracting on suspended licenses.

The customer service rep was really informative (even sympathetic) when I called at 6:00am with my semi-emergency. I was able to calm down and contact their referral. The company was Berkey's. I had an exploded hot water heater. At that time of the early morning, with a flooded garage and spewing water, the customer rep asked the right questions and gave me answers.

I called the first one that you recommended and was very pleased with the results. Sergio from SRC Lawn Maintenance called me within minutes and set up an appointment. It rained that day but he came the following day. I will use him and HomeAdvisor again.

We live in Reno, NV which is experiencing an influx of people and cannot keep up with the demand for services. I have tried other reference companies and generally get no replies. HomeAdvisor ALWAYS responds and has multiple choices. On occasions where I have contracted with one of their references I have always been pleased with the quality of work and the price. Highly recommend this service and it is now my "go to" for all projects in my home.

Too much interactions by HomeAdvisor; I've had people calling me about the service, about if I've picked someone, emails out the ying yang...Come on - cool it on the interactions; once I give a review then this process should be over; no more unsolicited calls or emails. It's a turn off and I would consider not using this service again because of this - and it's a great service to have around...just lay off the follow ups.

Alex came when he said he would to do the job so that was a plus. I've had a few in the past that didn't show up to do the job. He had his son with him as a helper and they did a good job. The only thing I didn't like is that the hardware to open the gate isn't what I would have chosen but that is probably partly my fault because I wasn't explicit enough. Other than that all else was fine.

Employees were very professional and explained what they needed to do to repair the problem and how much each thing would cost. They did a great job and were very efficient. I thought they would clean up after themselves and put everything back in its original place but they did not. That was a minor issue though. I thought their prices were fair and I would definitely use them again.

Excellent job by Affordable Plumbing. Had constant leaks in the kitchen faucet and my husband took the responsibility of doing the repair work. He managed to accomplish about 8 hrs of labor and finally threw in the towel. We called Frank and he was there the same day. One hour after arriving, new faucet, no leaks and reasonable cost. Would definitely use again.

We went on HomeAdvisor to find a general contractor for a large remodeling job. We read reviews and took HomeAdvisor at their word that the owner had been background checked. After shoddy work the general contractor walked off the job without finishing it. When I did further research on the owner of the business, I found that He had been convicted of procurement and running an unlicensed brothel. When I called to complain to HomeAdvisor, they apologized, but also said that they do not verify reviews. So what do they do? They only take the money from the contractors and all the rest is just false advertising. Very disappointed.

I have been satisfied with all companies I have hired. All the businesses I have hired have been very timely and reasonable about the price. As long as I choose 3 companies to review I have been completely satisfied with the results.

I would prefer if Home Advisor asked permission to submit your phone number to their recommended contractors AFTER they reveal who they are. My request was sent to Leaf Guard whom I did NOT want to deal with because they are overpriced and highly annoying. I had to hang up on the LeafGuard rep who called me because she would not stop trying to schedule me even though I already had hired the job out.

I looked up prices for housekeeping in our area, and I know for a fact that house cleaning prices do not start at $50/hr. I think listing these high prices artificially raises prices - maybe the poor service providers have to do something more to make up for being charged from every contact they get, whether they get the job of not, at least this is what I have been told. If you are looking for service providers, check your local prices, or call directly before you pay twice or three times what their going rate it.

HomeAdvisor does not stand behind their leads... Half the leads generated are not good leads. HomeAdvisor still takes your money and it's nearly impossible to get a credit for any leads. The craziest thing is they will call the consumer one time to see if what you are stating is the truth to get a credit. If they do not reach then week you're out of luck and you get ZERO.

Although I called them repeatedly month after month, and the HomeAdvisor managers tried 3 times to refund me, the main office refused. The Main office is either INCOMPETENT, MEAN, or CORRUPT. My company was never findable on their site. But, they kept my money!!

I don’t want to do business with HomeAdvisor anymore. They post our address and say you need a Subpoena to remove your address or even close your account. I have talked to contractors that tell me they are very unprofessional that they are referring out. What kind of business doesn’t allow you to “delete” your account? Or make your address private? It’s an invasion of your privacy. One of the contractors refused to give me his 3 men’s information but yet they were coming into our home and that was a no go for us!

I am a contractor who decided to give HomeAdvisor a try after multiple sales calls from them to get me to sign up. Well I broke down one day and signed up. 1 year later and thousands in fees I ended up with 2 leads that didn't even come close to making what I had spent with HomeAdvisor. Here is my experience. Besides super overpriced fees is their leads are terrible! You will be charged every time someone clicks or calls you even if they did it by accident. I did get credited a few times but the countless other times I got nothing except charges. Remember they charge you anywhere from $150 to $300 per depending on what type of lead it is. These guys put on a great front and they have their scam down pat so don't fall for their sales pitch!

One the contractors after learning I would not being going with them mailed me a charge a month later for a 135$ diagnostic fee. This fee had neither been agreed to or discussed by the contractor at any time.

I actually had wood fencing and wrought iron gates installed. It looks great! I am very happy. Alpha was easy to work with. Thought they may be behind since we've had bad weather, but they showed up when they said they would and were finished before I got off work.

Told me I could set monthly fee to $0 and only choose which leads to follow up on. So I signed up and they had monthly fee set at $1,000 so I went to change it and they only let you go down to $100 a month. I call and they put my account on hold for a month and then start it all over again. I called to cancel and they removed fees and I thought that was the end of it, but they asked if I still wanted to keep my account and I stupidly said yes. And now they are charging me for unwanted leads again. Also I'm pretty sure most of the leads are just their employees making it look like real leads.

HomeAdvisor need to sort out and eliminate their bad companies that they recommend. I needed a moving company and they recommended Easy Movers from Pineville. NC. I scheduled with them and they gave me an arrival window of 1:00-3:00. I took a day of vacation from work for the move. They did not show up. At 2:30 they called and said they had at least 2 more hours on another job in Charlotte, which is an hour or more away from me (and at rush hour on a Friday). Easy Movers is not a reliable company and HomeAdvisor should not recommend them.

Heat pump valve and thermostat issue - Debugged the system, he found the leaky valve in minutes and after a bit found the thermostat was losing connection. Replaced both and refilled system at a very competitive price. It was all done on the same day as the inspection and bid within a few hours. He stayed until every phase of the system was tested and passed within spec. values. He showed me how to program the new stat, cleaned up, and was friendly to boot.

Very disappointing service from them. Was very nice described by the salesperson. But in real we spent over $500, never got any real job from them. Some of the leads was even canceled accounts by clients. HomeAdvisor never refund even those. We call and cancel their service in November 2018. On January 1 2019 they send us couple leads with attached bill for those. We call them and ask why is that happened since there was request for cancellation earlier. The answer was: "We never cancel at the first request..." ??? WHAT? So now they call us to pay the balance of $78 otherwise we'll be sent to collection agency. We gonna hire attorney to get our money back. PLEASE!!! Stay away from this company. Company like that should be out of business.

I’ve been charged 83$ for a lead that the customer just hung up on me without saying anything. I asked for a credit and denied because I haven’t purchased enough leads prior. That’s crazy!! Now I’m charged another 53 for a lead I cannot reach. I asked for a credit and again, denied. I’d be careful about doing business with HomeAdvisor as they do not seem to give any customer service back.
