Concrete stabilization and repair. The HA recommended firm was professional from bid to finish. The foreman educated me about the challenges of my property and the likelihood of difficulties down the road. Though covered by warranty, having this knowledge will lead me to strengthening my retaining wall.

Those of you who are considering using HomeAdvisor need to BEWARE. HomeAdvisor claims to be "free", however, they are being paid by the companies/individuals which are receiving the leads provided by HomeAdvisor. Therefore, HomeAdvisor is pumping out leads (as many as 5-10 per inquiry), with no incentive to maintain an actual database of truly professional contractors. They claim to only use contractors that have been verified (Licensed/Background Check, Etc.). This is not true.... They will take anyone who will pay them for the lead. Therefore, they may be sending an inexperienced contractor, or criminal to your home.

Concrete Patio Pour. This company (Sterling Concrete Inc.) was very professional. They showed up on time, did a great job of pouring my patio concrete, and were friendly and open to suggestions. I would hire them again.

Was very happy with the way HomeAdvisor provided a list of contractors. That said, the contractors were the issue when it came to getting quotes. I will use Home Advisor for all my future home project needs. I would also recommend Home Advisor do more follow up on their listed contractors because the contact info was not always accurate.

Gutter Solutions did quality work. They arrived exactly on time and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves when they were finished working. Communication from their office was beyond my expectations. I would recommend this company, and will definitely use them again.

Repaired 2 sections of vinyl fence that was damaged when large tree limb fell and broke 2- 6 ft wide sections. Contracted job with a written quote and no money upfront required. Repaired fence using existing panels and new post.

I came across HomeAdvisor and glad that I did. The service helped me locate the assistance I needed, as I am new to the area and totally unfamiliar with whom to call for what. Unless I missed it, I'm having difficulty just trying to locate a general contractor for estimates on varied immediate and future changes.

Definitely go to HomeAdvisor.com for all of your Home improvement projects that require competent contractors and individuals. This was my first experience with them and I was running out of options to get my roof leak repaired. I couldn't be happier with the results.

Electric Panel replacement. It was very simple. I filled out the HomeAdvisor questionnaire and within 2 minutes I had a call from an electrician. I checked his reviews and the repair was done less than 24 hours later and we now have a new electric panel that is safe for my family..

I got three estimates for my job (power wash the house, driveway, fence, pool cage, pool deck, and a retaining wall). All three companies sent a rep within 24 hours. I decided to go with Aris & Shine Cleaning Service. Although there weren’t many reviews of their power washing service, they had high ratings for other services. When it comes down to it, I hire people not a company. The couple came, I showed them what I wanted, they quoted me a price. But beyond that we just talked. I was impressed with their professionalism and their personalities. So how did they do the job? Not only did they do what I needed they threw in some extras. The job took a little longer than expected, but there is no doubt about the result. EVERYTHING they said they would do, they did! And everything looks fantastic. I have saved their info for the next time. Give them a chance and you will not be disappointed!

HomeAdvisor was very helpful in suggesting reliable companies for a roof repair project. I would definitely use Home Advisor in the future for company recommendations. They were quick with their responses and very informative. I had asked around for roof repair recommendations and was extremely impressed with HomeAdvisor's responses.

Requested an estimate for a drywall job. Was given 2 local contractors. Only 1 responded... CITY WIDE DRYWALL. Could not be more happy with them. Also happy with HomeAdvisor. I live 80 miles away from job site and didn't know any contractors in the Glendale area. Home Advisor was very helpful.

I have used HomeAdvisor for referrals on several occasions. They are my first "go to" vs trying to go through numerous companies on my own. Think they provide a valuable service. Appreciate their follow up on their referrals as well as the quality of work provided.

The guy that was dispatched was professional and friendly. He identified the issue in a timely fashion and contacted me directly at work as I directed. He explained the problem to me and me a price to repair it. What I really appreciated was that they arrive fast no waiting days and days. I would use this business again. This is the third time I've used HomeAdvisor and have not been disappointed.

Pretending to be a customer in order to sell services. I spoke to one guy named Gil who was completely transparent that he was from HomeAdvisor, he was honest and didn't want to waste my time. I never followed through with Gil as I was unsure if HomeAdvisor is the best fit for my business. A couple months later I get a call from Grace **, who says she is interested in my window cleaning services in the Concord area. My flag should have been raised right there when she said Concord area.

I was looking for somebody to buy and install blinds. I was given a couple of companies with ratings for each company. This ratings helped me decide which companies to contact. I contacted three of the companies recommended and out of that I picked one. I was very happy with the company and chose to get my blinds from.

The job at hand was to provide access for a handicapped person to a building at the back of my property that I intend to use as an entertainment area. The original plan was for a ramp to a paver patio that was adjacent to the building. Instead I modified to plan to put in a stair lift to provide access to the patio.

I haven't used them often but the few times that I did I was able to find someone to do what I had in mind. The only caveat is that just because you select a schedule time it doesn't mean that the company REALLY will come that day - they have to see what is available on their end.

I am very impressed with HomeAdvisor and would recommend it to all my friends. I will use this again in the future for sure. I like the fact that the people who are in the program are vetted and are reliable.

I’ve used HomeAdvisor for a few jobs. One turned out well (install a dog fence); others not so well. One “carefully vetted pro” turned out to be a bit unbalanced, money hungry (as he is still going through bankruptcy) who was quick to pick up a check and pad the bill. We ended up firing him 90% of the way through our job of deck install, when the cash outlay hit 4x his estimate.

I would rate this service higher but I don't like how my name and phone number was given to contractors I didn't invite. If HomeAdvisor didn't do it directly then it must be through some other way. It may be written in the fine print but they sure do not be completely open about it.

Mostly good, but did not provide a large selection of choices for the job. Luckily the one provided turned out to be a fantastic resource for all my electrical needs. Follow up was short and to the point. Would use as a resource again in the future.

I had no idea how to go about selecting a contractor to install an antenna in my home. Home Advisor made the process easier by suggesting approved contractor for me to choose. Both of the contractors were professional and able to give me a ballpark estimate. I would use this service again.

The first pro that a estimate was asked of, was not able to do the job for my address but did recommend another pro who could complete the job based on my address. The garage door was dented, off track and would not close and was repaired the same day as the estimate. Pleased with the outcome.

Roof patching - Home Advisor was really helpful thru the process. If I had any suggestions I would say the website was sometimes hard to keep track of appointment dates and times. Everything turned out good, and I am very pleased with the service.

I just called HomeAdvisor because a contractor I found through them is not completing the job they were hired to do (I'll be reviewing them too) and I was hoping they could help resolve it. I spoke to a very nice lady who was extremely helpful. Then she told me "Hold on. Let me check the current ETA on a response from Customer Service... It says here 8 days."

Gutter cleaning. He did an excellent job, I will use him again and will have other projects for him in the future. He is a nice young man, prompt and efficient. He was careful walking on my tile roof to reach the back gutters.

Requested proposals to replace just an "overamping" York R-22 A/C compressor but ended up accepting one reasonably low offer (out of a total of 4 sky-high proposals) to install an entire new HVAC system. If I would have received an offer to just replace the compressor and recharge the system for a price < $2,000 (as I was able to do in FL in 2018), I would have done that instead.. But the two lowest proposals I got to replace just the compressor and recharge the system were $3,750 and $5,700!

I was amazed at how quickly HomeAdvisor put me in touch with someone who could do the job and there were others in case this one did not work out. The process was simple and I feel confident I will use it again as the need arises.

I went to Home Advisor for tree removal companies and they came back right away with 3 or 4. I chose one and they did an excellent job. I found out HomeAdvisor won't list a company that is not licensed or insured which is good to know.

I recently needed help finding a moving company that was trustworthy, inexpensive and reliable. I tried HomeAdvisor for the first time ever. I have to say that this was a great resource! I immediately received responses from local movers who were all very professional on the phone. I went with M&M Movers which was rated #1 in 2018 from HomeAdvisor. They were on time, courteous, careful, and hardworking. Although I spent a little more than I had hoped, I did receive great service.

I had a large electrical fixture fall away from the wall, still hanging on by the wires. Then I had some electrical outlets and light switches that needed some work. The electrician was so friendly and helpful. I enjoyed talking to the guy, he taught me some things about switches.

Sears was hired to do a home and roof repair. Job was done poorly, and was told the price would be $3000 more than the contract. I am now in contact a lawyer. Learn from my mistake-stay away! My opinion is these companies pay to recommend them.

My upstairs unit was having major issues. The guys came to the house and replaced the upstairs and one of the outside units. They also serviced the downstairs unit to make sure everything was working properly. Very professional and customer service driven. Great job.

Searched for local companies in the area to treat our home for preventative measures for any potential termite. You provided 3 firms, we contacted all 3 and made our choice from those 3 firms. 1 company came to our home, did an inspection and provided a very detailed estimate on what they planned on doing as well as future annual servicing. One company provided details via an email and one just provided details over the phone. We requested an email follow-up and never received it.

I described four handyman type projects to HomeAdvisor; two inside light fixture replacements, an outside faucet repair, and a garage door weatherstripping replacement. I requested contact information from two companies provided by HomeAdvisor, received a quick response from one, and after receiving their quote, gave them the job.

Electrician. Wire Wizards were very Professional, and HomeAdvisor very easy to use the service. I would use Home adviser again if the need came up. This is a nice service to have available especially if new to the area.

Gathered several good quotes for me to select from. Technician selected was pleasant and prompt. Workmanship was excellent. Cost was quite reasonable. He adjusted another Venetian Blind free of charge. Efficient and friendly. Would recommend service to others needing Venetian Blind repairs.

Plumbing - slow/stopped drain. The Home Advisor service connected me quickly with a competent professional. He showed up about 1.5 hours later (earlier than he projected), diagnosed the problem, called in an assistant, and they fixed the problem. They cleaned up and sanitized the worksite, except for cleaning that I told them I would do.

Emergency Well Pump Repair. Home Advisor offered several contractors, in an extremely fast time frame, to handle my urgent, specific problem. Communication was top notch and the contractor I hired was knowledgeable, experienced, polite, patient, and he explained the issue as well as teaching me about the entire well system. My water heater let go on sat night, Sun mid-morning I got a call from Nick at Wicked Plumbing, said he could be here within the hour, he showed up as promised. Looked at what needed to be done, gave me a good price and I hired him on the spot, he completed everything within a few hours and I couldn't be more pleased. Getting a spa repair company. Our existing swim spa had a small leak & we didn’t know how to fix it. We had purchased it out of state so didn’t know any local company to help us. Aqua Spa came out the next day & fixed the leak in an hours time.

A quick match to local service, they performed quickly and efficiently. The refrigerator was failing intermittently and we were on the verge of purchasing a new one, we felt it was worth the effort to have our old one looked at, we were fortunate, was a quick repair and pushed off buying a new one.

Hiring Pros is easy at HomeAdvisor. You can quickly find pros in your area. It depends upon the area you are in. In some area they have lots of pros, in others they are still building the list. In North Jersey they have quite a few but so many in South Jersey.

This was a small interior paint-job for my home, using sound-deadening paint, which in itself was unusual. I did not really know what to expect, since three coats of paint were required. However, I decided to go with HomeAdvisor's first recommendation, and I have no regrets.

I have used recommended companies from HomeAdvisor 4 times in the last 2 years and they have all been extremely professional and personable. They have all done amazing work. The companies were a landscaper, garage door repairman, gutter replacement and exterior house painting, and asphalt. ALL were great and I would definitely recommend them.

I went on HomeAdvisor and was looking for a painter to paint the interior of my home. I was given several companies and I chose Annamarie Pereira, Beach House Coloring, LLC. Annamarie visited me this morning, looked at each of the rooms in my home that I wanted painted, showed me a color wheel and was of enormous assistance in helping me select just the right colors to have the rooms painted. She explained the contract and what to expect on the day she arrives to commence work. I am completely confident that Annamarie Pereira, Beach House Coloring, LLC, will do excellent work painting the interior of my home.

Garage door did not work properly. Checked HomeAdvisor for a reputable repair Co. I called Secure For Sure. They came and repaired the within 3hrs. I was satisfied with the recommendation of your company. I had another company do some repairs on the garage door. They used the wrong parts which cause the damage this time. Thank you.

I had a poor experience where a painting contractor (Romero and Sons) failed to complete painting our kitchen and trim work but took our money and claimed it was not part of the job. They were to send a contract separating parts of the job as I was doing paint work in stages around a schedule. When originally contacting HomeAdvisor consumer affairs our experience was pleasant and felt as if we might get some resolution to our problem. Because the contractor failed again to resolve the issue I contacted (as requested) consumer affairs.

OUTSTANDING! We’d been seeing lots of ants in and around our kitchen, especially on the counters, floors and cabinets, but finally had had it when there were maybe 50 or so swarming in our kitchen trash. So we called Brian at Best Defense Pest Control on a Friday. He came Monday and assessed our situation, telling us we had carpenter ants, and that he’d spray outside for them. He said not to expect much change for 7-10 days. The next day (Tuesday) we saw one ant, and NONE since then. Brian’s results were above and beyond our expectations, and after one application we’ve not seen but one ant. We positively recommend Best Defense Pest Control!

Went online, booked an appointment, took the day off from work, no one showed or even called. Called HomeAdvisor, no apologies, nothing. Buyer beware. They keep sending me emails to which I keep responding, but this company is a hit or miss I'll assume.

Arrived on time. Very professional and curteous. Repaired kitchen light fixture, rewired 2 light switches in master bedroom. Advised me on future work that needs to be done. Entire process took less than one hour. Will definitely have them come back to do additional work.

15 yr old Maytag washer. WE thought it would require replacing a broken coupler. Turns out the transmission needed to be replaced. The repair cost was more than buying a new washer, so we bought a new washer. We were charged for a service call, and that was fine.

It is much easier to go online and not have to wait forever for someone to get back to you because you must leave a message.

New roof gutters & pipes resided dormer. Work was performed very professional and customer service was great. I will recommend this contractor to do work and will consider this company to do future work. Everyone was friendly and professional. The attention to ensure they left my property clean and in order.

This may be personal preference - so I do NOT require a response back. When using HA, I am looking for suppliers/vendors recommendations, not HA customer service reps to be calling me. If the submitter's request is not complete, okay - but it seems like it is HA's process to follow up in an 'attempt' to add value - and for me, it's annoying.

After Hurricane Florence our porch screen was damaged. We contacted for the first time HomeAdvisor and selected Double D Handyman. He came and gave us a quote and set the day to replace the screen the next day. Six months later we had some strong winds and the screen didn't hold in a few places. We called and he immediately came, surveyed the job and came back and fixed it with no charge. He said sometimes the screen stretches or it could have just been the heavy wind. We were so pleased he came back immediately and fixed the problem. We would recommend this service highly. He was polite, professional and came to fix the problem immediately.

So far I have used 3 HomeAdvisor pros, and I have been completely satisfied with the first 2. The last company will be starting the work the first week in July, and I expect that I will again be satisfied with the work. I am also having other Home Advisor pros coming to my home for possible new projects.

The number of emails and phone calls is not proportionate to the service. Should be only 1 email for a follow up and then the survey. Now I am being told I don't have enough characters on my review, really don't think this is the right way to manage a free service that is suppose to connect the service company with the need.

Very quick response for my AC problem. Tech call within 5 minutes. Took less than a half hour to get to my residence. Quickly diagnosed my issue and had my AC up and running in no time. Very pleased! I recommend the service.

Honest Handyman was efficient and creative in the refurbishing of two dining room chairs. He replaced padding and oiled the wood of the base to a high sheen so that the chairs looked brand-new. The time frame was quick and the price was very affordable. We immediately asked if he could complete another handyman job. He was willing and arranged to follow-up within the week.

My experience was great, it's my first time using HomeAdvisor and I was very impress on how simple and easy it was to get connected with a plumber to fix the leaks in my home. I will definitely use this website in the future.

They make very difficult to find and determine what any lead costs. When you do find the range is ambiguous (Lead prices are stated as a range ex. Pressure wash deck $17 -$40). When you get a lead with bad info they will replace it after you go through a process which will take 10-20 minutes to complete if you know the HomeAdvisor job code #. Handyman lead in 2014 was $8.40 now is $18 to $42 for that same lead. I had my company set up to receive 2-3 dozen of different tasks and ALL were under $20 per lead & now only 11 tasks that have a range that starts below $20.00 but all leads are averaging well over $30.00.

Sheet rock nails popping in the dining room ceiling and also in one corner of the master bedroom. Also needed holes filled where wall decorations were taken down and pictures. All repairs were completed and painted over with paint supplied by homeowner.

We received several calls/bids from reputable companies that we would feel comfortable being in our home. We appreciated the follow-up emails, asking if we had hired someone yet, if we needed other bids. We would definitely use HomeAdvisor again for anything we might need done around our home.

They worked efficiently and the finished product was beautiful. They also completed jobs for two of my neighbors, who were also very pleased. We are recommended them to our homeowner's association.

Shawn came out for an estimate, which was very reasonable, we set up a date and took the old ones out and but in the new ones. It took about 7 hours and he did a great job! Homeadvisor does not care and is not reachable to address this. I suggest that a person find his own contractor NOT through HomeAdvisor. FYI HomeAdvisor has bought adds on Google....

Home Advisor instantly put me in contact with Green Defenses LLC who scheduled a technician to make a site visit that same day. The technician was very professional and explained the details of the treatment process, the chemicals involved and how they worked to provide mosquito abatement.

Pressure Wash. Easy to use, pleased with company recommended. Spartan showed up on time and quoted estimate in timely fashion. Showed up on time to do job. They did miss one window, but rest of house, sidewalks, and driveway looked great. Disappointed they couldn't clean patio floor due to drainage issue.

I had an oversize refrigerator that would not fit through the front door. I also had fencing material and some other items that I needed taken to the dump. It was great to get a variety of estimates and choose a contractor that was in my budget. Home Advisor made the process much easier.

Garage built. I was very pleased with the recommendations made by Home Advisor and appreciated having their advice to help me make my decision. Gauthier Skilled Craftsman was one of the recommendations that had a high rating and who was responsive to my calls. I selected them and had a great experience with them.

Information on siding repair companies. The service worked great and I was able to get three good contractors to talk to and decide between. The responses were fast and the company I chose was fantastic. I would highly recommend using HomeAdvisor for any future home project that you might have.

I was contacted almost immediately by a Pro via phone and discussed my service required. I did not get a call from any of the other pros (3 were provided) so I went with the one that contacted me immediately. All worked out great.

I needed a backflow valve to my sprinkler system repaired as the handles had rusted off. The plumber replaced the handle and got things working. His repair saved me about $1000 as that is what it would have cost me to replace the valve.

Air conditioner. I went on Home Advisor and checked the highest rated companies. After submitting what I needed I had a phone call with minutes and a text from another company. They were both very helpful and the problem was fixed the next day!!! I now have recommended Home Advisor to friends. I will use them again.

HomeAdvisor bugged us for over two years to sign up as a service provider. We finally gave in a few months ago and I wish we had held out. This company sends leads to several different contractors, bills each contractor when the lead is sent is does not filter the quality of leads before billing. We have been billed hundreds of dollars for leads who never call us back. When we request a refund of the lead charge, we are almost always denied. When asked for a review or explanation, we are told we will get an email within 7 days with explanation. We never get the refund nor the email of explanation. They are scam artists and are getting rich by screwing contractors.

Shrub removal. I received 2 responses and they both came in close in price (this time). I went with one because they seemed to offer more services in which I was interested. I am waiting for a quote on another job but will contact H.A. if I don't hear back for new quotes. Thanks HomeAdvisor.

We found a contractor the first day that I signed up on Home Advisor. He did quality work for a fair price just 3 days later. I am very happy. I had removed old tiles in our kitchen backsplash areas. He patched holes, smoothed the services and re-textured to match the other sheetrock in the house.

I had Joe Clean & Seal Concrete Patio, 2 Tile Bathrooms & Foyer. Cornerstone Ultimate Hard Surface Cleaning did a marvelous job in 'renewing' the above items. He was prompt, carefully explained what he could make like new and what he could not. I am extremely satisfied with his work.

Requested painting contractors. I made the request and within 30 minutes had call backs from various contractors. I was able to get quotes and found my painter that day. Did have one who did not return call. I had others call afterwards but all was arranged. Company chosen was professional all around.

Gutter cleaning and power washing - HomeAdvisor provided followup calls and emails to check on projects status and service. Offered phone support to give any assistance I may need. She said she would act as my concierge as the project progressed. She asked if I needed any more Pros to compare and had I received any communication from the ones already provided.

Roofing - Excellent job. His crew was efficient, hard-working, focused and thoughtful. They cleaned up the site after the job was complete. Rick Mott even came to the site after the crew departed to check out how they did. He brought a large magnet to sweep the area for any nails the crew might have missed. Mr. Mott is thoughtful, conscious of what the customer needs and how to fill that need. Rick is a genuinely good listener. HIs pricing was considerably lower than the other companies that bid the job. I highly recommend R J Mott Construction for your project.

My husband and I inquired to Home Advisor for a company to cut the limbs off of a tree. Immediately we were given a company. The company gave an estimate that we thought was good. Job was done perfectly. Haved used Home Advisor in the past. I have never been dissatisfied.

Sole proprietor that signed up early this year. I enjoy building decks and thought I’d branch out to different areas. I connected with a representative who set my monthly lead budget to $1000 plus the exact matches. I had gotten one lead and built that deck. At the end of the month I was hit with an $1800 bill. My representative would not respond to any calls, texts or emails and customer service was of no help either; as they would not credit or refund any of the leads because my account was too new.

Pest/Bird Control and siding repair. Had two vendors contact me immediately after posting. One said they no longer performed the service but spent about 10 minutes talking about the issue and providing advice. The second vendor also responded quickly and immediately sent out a worker to give me an antimatter.

The site is very well organized with the appropriate contractors and distances popping up quickly and the reviews that are easy to find for each contractor. This "trust cloud" system of reviews is fabulous because it is very difficult for the lay-person to feel comfortable with a contractor they don't know. They are a true blessing and many thanks!

R/R kitchen sink fast, clean, professional and I would definitely hire them for any future plumbing jobs I may encounter. Today there are too many fly-by-night outfits that would do a sloppy job and charge a fortune... not these guys. They are great.

I only wish I started using them long ago. All the contractors were so friendly, priced the work fairly and cleaned up after the work was complete.

I had a water leak around an electrical socket and didn't know who to call since I already had roofers, AC techs and plumbers check for my problem with no results or solutions. A representative from HomeAdvisor listened carefully to assess the problem and recommended two excellent mold companies who put me on the path to replace the electric box and repair the part of the wall which had water damage and not tear up the whole kitchen. The installers did a great job - very thorough and very detailed. They also cleaned up their mess and made sure I was happy before they left. They pointed out areas of need, and they fixed those areas after we discussed them.

We use both HomeAdvisor and Angie's List to find contractors. HomeAdvisor has become my go-to source. I canceled Angie's List due to the contractors listed. Most of them bid 3x the cost of a project. Always gets multiple bids and do review checks on what people are saying about the company. It will save time and money in the end if you research the company first.

Excellent choice of plumbers, and they are hard to come by around south Florida. In the past there have been a couple of 'iffy' recommendations out of HomeAdvisor in the area but this one was a gem. Two of the contacts made an initial call to me then never followed up, but the one that did was the best.

The first repair company we called cancelled the appointment the morning of and never called back to re-schedule. Because we had re-arranged our schedule to be here, we elected to try someone else. The second time we exchanged messages but were never able to reconnect. That's the reason we gave 4 rather than 5. Master Appliance was superb and a terrific reflection of HomeAdvisor.

Those companies then provide quotes and when selected, do the work. He did not respond to my attempts to contact him. Apparently decided he didn't want to do the job or had better opportunities elsewhere. I told her I had already done the job myself and that they needed to better vet the contractors they worked with.

Built a wrap around walk way and 38x13 composite deck. Installed white railings on the sides. Worked all day and on the weekends to finish in the 4 days they said they would. Came and cleaned after project was complete.

Stamped and colored concrete patio - It was stamped and colored an orange, brown, red and yellow stain and then 2 coats of sealer were applied.... WOW... The followup was great ensuring a call to see had I used one of the contractors identified and was I satisfied. There is a good network of capable contractors willing to reply to your requests. I have looked for some other contractors now thru HomeAdvisor as I consider other work.

He was very knowledgeable, efficent, and accurate in the work he did for us. I highly recommend him as a technical individual who can install high quality antennas and do it in a very quick time at a very fair price.

Kitchen light fixture replacement, kitchen faucet replacement and garbage disposal replacement labor only cost $700.00. The parts and garbage disposal, faucet (Kitchen) is separate, I bought the parts. I have multiple contractors call to bid for my project is very convenient that I can choose who can work for my project the best thing is I am not in a bind with the contractors bidding for the work.

They are good, my only bone of contention is that that prices they make me think things will cost are way lower than what they actually cost. Some of the pros I found through them were good, but some wanted what I considered way too much money for their work.

Over the past 2 years I have requested contractors through this site. 1 or 2 responded after they told me there were numerous contractors interested in doing the work. You're better off going to Lowe's or Home Depot and look for contractors buying materials for their jobs. At least you get to talk to a person.
