Jack, of Integrity Lawn Care, called to set-up an appointment to come and give me an estimate for my Fall/Spring Clean-Up Project. He and his team arrived exactly as promised. Jack walked my yard with me and gave me full details of the cost and exactly how long it would take. His team even used their blowers to allow me to view a sample of how my yard would look upon completion. The small area they cleared for me made me certain Integrity Lawn Care could handle my project with no problem! Integrity Lawn Care is awesome!

I have used HomeAdvisor many times over the years. I have never been disappointed with the results. I get competitive bids and have never run into a "lemon". This latest time was not an exception. I have also been able to build a list of quality contractors and service providers and outside of HomeAdvisor it was often hit or miss - and just one miss could be costly.

Received calls from two contractors within 20 minutes. Both of them gave on the spot estimates within 24 hours. The one we hired had excellent response time and super work at a reasonable cost. Will use the contractor and HomeAdvisor when I have other projects.

The repairman who came was friendly and competent. He quickly repaired the refrigerator but found that the dishwasher could not be repaired due to certain circumstances. The only problem I encountered with HomeAdvisor was a little mix-up in the time schedule for the repairman to come to my house. But they immediately scheduled another fellow who came when expected.

I got rapid response and was provided with several choices. The contractors all had good attitude. I even got a phone call to make sure I got appropriate responses. Satisfied with the services. Will use the service again in the future.

Roof caps repaired. We just moved in couple months ago and we had a couple of roof caps blow off. HomeAdvisor was able to link me with a contractor fast and affordable. I am very happy and satisfied with the work that was performed. I am now working on my third project through HomeAdvisor.

Old 2-car garage was rotting, and had accumulated junk that needed to be, and was, hauled away. It was then replaced with a new 2-car garage, only the new one is vinyl sided, is solid and has two remote control car doors and a side door for extra access. The colors of the garage (white with green trim & green roof) match the colors of my house. The dealings with the owner and workers were very professional. He told me in advance how much it would cost, and that is exactly what I paid. My neighbors have had very nice compliments for the new garage and the work that was done.

It cost $118.00--- $45.00 was the service call and $70 was the repair cost and the rest was due to me paying by credit card. The repair person came took approx. 30 min and was done. Now no more water in the bottom of the refrig.

Frameless shower door installation - Reached out to Mirrtique right before New Years. They came the date they promised, measured everything and gave us a estimate same day. They estimated the fabrication and completion date to take 3 to 4 weeks and the project was completed as promised. Very professional and honest. Great quality workmanship.

Replaced 2 gas water heaters. Both were in the attic with one close to a gas heating unit. It required caution and coordination with the crew to ensure the heating unit was not damaged and the water heaters were carefully moved up & down the attic stairs.

BUYER BEWARE. They are sponsoring a CONSTRUCTION COMPANY that doesn't have a 5 year clean record... that has claims filed against them. That gives a warranty and will not come back to the home site to do any repairs. I have more documentation if you need it. I also wanted to send it to HomeAdvisor. But they do not have a link to send this. As a consumer my reviews also matter.

Hired a two different 'handymen' plus a closet installer. Of the two handymen one installed a gutter, and the other one installed laminate flooring in our basement. All were excellent; i.e. Quality work, reasonably priced, timely in responding. These quality resources can be challenging to find in a rural area, so it was a relief and pleasant to make these connections.

Existing wooden gate ripped off in a storm. Hinges had been very rusty and the wood was of an unknown age. After entering the job information on HomeAdvisor, the site put me in touch with Davis Home Improvements. Mr. ** called me the next day to schedule a visit to review the job. When he and his brother looked at the gate, they told me it only needed new hardware and two replacement pickets. They quoted an extremely reasonable price, and after I accepted, they went straight to the hardware store for the supplies, and they had the whole job done within two hours of their arrival. The work was high quality, and I really appreciated their honesty.

Replaced defective rollers & made adjustments. The new rollers caused the door to rub on the open & close cycle. These newer rollers were slightly larger than the older rollers & tracked a bit differently. Trimming a small area of the garage frame allowed the door to operate properly. He even swept up the saw dust after the repair. I'm sure if my door & tracks were newer that small rub would not have been an issue. My garage door is a heavy segmented aluminum one approximately 15 to 20 years old. The 1/2 hp Chamberlain opener is the same age.

Completed repair fast and up and running after a part was ordered. Came back the same day the part was received and installed part. Knowledge of problem, fair price and great service. I would use again. Well pleased with the service.

We had been considering a few projects for a number of months, but would never commit as we couldn't conceptualize the budget or time required. After entering our initial project information we were not only given an average quote which was incredibly helpful, but we were also contacted by a few local contractors who would either come out and give a free assessment or who could look just at pictures and give us a ballpark estimate. This was extremely helpful as we have now been able to plan out the projects and have been able to find very reliable and professional local contractors.

They were quick & courteous, but a little on the high priced side. The installers rushed through things creating extra work for the finish guy. So the drywall work took longer than expected. I found out after they were finished and gone that my shower surround walls were not plumb which created a problem installing the shower doors.

Installed Rooftop Antenna - He did come out on time. He did a nice job running the cable on the outside of the house. The cable he ran in the attic, didn't look so organized. I went from getting 10 channels to now getting 68 channels. So I am very pleased with that. Make sure you get a written estimate before he does the job and exactly what he is going to do.

He seemed to be very fair & honest. He discussed what was needed for parts & what labor would cost. He suggested that the cost to repair the dishwasher vs cost of a new dishwasher might make it more reasonable to buy a new dishwasher. I decided not to repair it & paid only for a service call.

As a local contractor, I was pitch by HomeAdvisor of added business, better profits and screened, good leads of paying customers in need of my field of service... Mostly all we got was bad leads, discontinued phone numbers, no answer and very few good customer connections of which every one of these leads was sent to up to 3 contractors at the same time and we were each charged for the same lead... BAD business for the contractor. Contractors beware of this shady company! You WILL get burnt!

The company that was recommended by HomeAdvisor was very professional. I would use this service again. The response in which I received the quote was exceptionally fast but was also limited for the work that I needed done, but the company that was recommended was very good.

The survey came with green check marks by all three of my companies that bid and you asked me which one I chose. Being a educated person, I kept trying to click on the green check marks to remove the wrong ones and to pick the one that was correct. That got nowhere and I complained to HomeAdvisor about the poor survey and lack of directions on how to respond. Going back a day later, I realize I was supposed to click on the chosen company's name. To me, this was NOT self-evident the first time around and one is not going to spend much time trying to figure out how a survey works. I did respond properly today because I wanted to acknowledge the outstanding service I received from my tree service company.

Cantos, and work done the very next day. Workers were prompt, very professional, and courteous. They left the site cleaned and orderly. Price was fair and very reasonable given the size of the shed.

I am a small business owner and received a sales call from HomeAdvisor, formerly known as ServiceMagic. They offered a chance to receive customer leads for a yearly rate plus cost per lead, Not explaining that several other businesses would receive the same lead. Nor did they disclose that they used to go by service magic, which had a incredibly bad reputation for being exceedingly expensive as well as crooked in the manipulation of leads. This company is trash! I had received multiple bogus or fake leads sent by a competing business in order to cost me money as well as leads in cities I had requested not to be included in the active leads sent, both costing me money which they were uninterested in refunding.

The people I have interviewed for jobs are professional and their prices reasonable. I like that I can interview more than one company and get bids to do a job, check the reviews and scores and they seem reputable. I like the descriptions for each company and what work they can do.

I wanted to have my kitchen cabinets painted, popcorn ceilings removed and smoothed, a ton of painting inside and my deck outside painted. I received several names to choose from. Leo Painting contacted me right away and came out to give me an estimate right away. Their estimate was more than fairly priced and they gave good value and were so pleasant during the entire job. I'll use them anytime I can and will go back to HomeAdvisor if I have other types of work to be done.

Our furnace went out during the weekend with 15F outside temperatures. In addition my wife was 9 months pregnant and we had a sick 1 yr old. HomeAdvisor helped me locate a local repair company quickly during the emergency. The company came and was able to resolve the problem within two visits spanning 3 hours (our tech had to run back to get a part).

Service was very good. The contractor called at 7:13 A.M. and dispatched a truck at 2:00 P.M. the same day to haul away debris from a bathroom renovation. The man on the truck had to be stopped because he left a toilet that I had paid an additional $75 to take. The surprise came in a fuel surcharge and environmental fee raising the agreed-upon price of $175 to $215. Dan never mentioned these and added them to my bill.

Arrived on time, passed the dog sniff/accept test. Worked quickly, saw what other cleaner missed and took care of it. Very good job on a carpet that was really nasty after I lost my fly by night carpet cleaner. As a widow living alone, I had to find someone I could trust. Craigslist is NOT the way to go. I like the fact that you can pick and choose people and have a great idea if they have good or bad work habits and if they are BBB and how long they have been doing work with people in the area.

The company called right away, made an appointment to see the rug and were on time. The response time is usually very quick, and I generally have multiple tradespeople to get quotes from. There's usually a good variety of companies to choose to do the work.
