My sump pump was cycling every 30 seconds. I used HomeAdvisor to find a plumber. The plumbers showed up the next day and quickly diagnosed the issue and offered me some options. They started and completed the work promptly and professionally. I am very pleased with using HomeAdvisor.

Needed an extension on an existing chain link fence, and needed to use existing 2-car gates. Results exceeded expectations, especially the quick response. I would recommend this company for any similar projects, and I will certainly keep them in mind.

I was given three companies that provide vinyl siding for homes, and I was able to contract with one of them. The product from the company I chose was superior to the others, and has a lifetime warranty. The companies provided for my consideration were all reputable, and I would have no problem recommending your service to others.

I got several proposals and picked not the lowest but they matched the average proposal. The job went well and is almost finished. The final carpet placement near the door will be finished this week. I will continue to get proposals through HomeAdvisor.

Fence project - Good site to find someone for your next project. Ideally, I would like to see a list of people/companies rather than just one but I was very satisfied with the one HomeAdvisor presented and I ended up hiring that person/company.

Worked out well. I was given 3 choices for replacing a small part of the tile in our shower. One of them got back to me quickly. We set up a time for an estimate and we hired him once we checked his references, found out how much it would cost and when he could start on the project. Another one got back with me about an hour later and that contact fizzled out... Never heard from him again. The 3rd one never contacted me.

Water Heater Repair - I received prompt assistance in finding a contractor that more than fulfilled our expectations. The contractor called us back immediately and was there within a few hours. Additionally, they came back the next day to complete the work. He worked diligently and stayed until the work was completed.

I have an electric car. I needed an extra meter added to take advantage of DTE energy discount price on charging my car. I also had a generator cutoff and pull installed for my generator in case of power outages I can power my house. He did an outstanding job at a reasonable price. He gave me an estimate over the phone, something others would not do, and did the work quickly and at a real reasonable price.

Cabinet installation - Mr Handyman was exceptional. They were already onsite before the second referral called for estimate. The follow up from their office was outstanding. I feel that HomeAdvisor recommended the best of the best and I have already contacted them for additional projects.

This company (Black Diamond Pest Control) is very good. I called on Monday and the inspection was completed on Thursday. VA termite inspection for my new loan. From needing to having the inspection to completed a couple of days later. The inspector shook my hand upon meeting with me. In my book that goes a long way. A handshake is a bond. I would recommend this company to everyone.

Not heating properly, my wife has to dry the clothes 2 & 3 times. The repairman, Ray took the LG dryer apart & told me that the problem was with the vent. My dryer vent runs underground. I went to Home Depot and bought a wet/dry vac, and was able to remedy the drying problem.

Garage door springs replacement and door opener replacement. Same day service. Company was friendly and accommodating. Price reasonable. Tech was young and somewhat inexperienced, but installation was good, just took a little longer than expected. He completed work in 2 trips of day apart, as he did not have a whole new opener unit on the truck, only the springs.

Very Happy, This is a family-run business. When the arrived at my house for the estimate there was no pressure. Nice presentation and the attic insulation work was done when promised at a reasonable rate. Very neat and courteous. I highly recommend this company.

HA recommended two local pros. One didn't bother to get back to me, so I hired the guy who responded promptly. He did a great job. I would rate the service 5, except the other pro didn't even have the courtesy to turn the job down.

Bathroom, custom built ins, high end shower, closets, office, all got rebuilt after an extensive leak. The damage was extensive because it was under the shower drip pan and was hidden from view. It was probably leaking for 6 months to a year before it revealed the massive damage. Restoration 1 of Kingwood took care of everything!!!

My garage double door was not closing so the repairman had to replace the two faulty springs on both sides and repair the track. It also was faulty. The entire process took less than 1 hour to complete. Perfection repair done.

A wind storm blew down a tree limb that took down our power line and ripped the electric meter off the house. The electric company used rope to keep the system from falling apart so we still had power, but getting it reattached right away was needed. The job is not complete. When the electrician provided power to my shop a spark flashed that tripped a breaker in my house. I have not seen the electrician in over 4 days. The electrician will not return my contact attempts.

I tried to write a review but received error message to look in my email for activation information. I did not have an email from HA. I then went on the chat function for help and was transferred three times before issue was resolved. It took about 30 minutes.

Clean water - They connected new 10 year filter to my machine (could not buy filters from old company not in business). Also connected line to refrigerator through bottom cabinets from osmosis machine, replaced filters in osmosis machine. Did not require replacement faucet. They left 2 bags of salt for water softener which was at capacity.

LG refrigerator repair. Compressor must be replaced. CP & Sons called immediately following submission to HomeAdvisor. Received same day service after our call. Quick to access issue. Excellent customer service, well-mannered gentlemen who almost immediately gained our respect and trust as a professional. Anticipating response today as to when the parts will arrive. When coordinating garage door repair, the woman I spoke with, passed on or entered an incorrect phone number to the workman, which I caught when I asked her to tell me what number she had given him, before he came over... and she gave him or entered an incorrect street number 4949 v. 49 which he was able to figure out because there are only 3 digit numbers on our street. Her inattention to detail could have greatly delayed the project.

On the ones I said hire immediately the contractors were very prompt in contacting us and delivering (on two projects so far). On the project I put planning and budgeting stage, I have yet to get a call or email and that has been 4 days ago.

Reliable Assistance you can count on - Water backup in basement was cleaned up, disinfected and mold paint used to prevent a return of any mold which was created due to the water backup. Wet sheetrock was cut out, doors were removed and all wet items were discarded appropriately. Great job overall.

HomeAdvisor as a service is great. I like the convenience of being matched with pros based on what I need done. I like that there are verifiable reviews for the pros that I can select from. I like the interface and user experience of HomeAdvisor with one caveat. That caveat comes in the pairing process. I wish I could see more options when I'm paired so I can make a choice based on review feedback. If this is already possible and I missed it then I would say the design of the pairing workflow should be reconsidered.

Apparently they are now not only teaming up with local professionals that they have screened they are leveraging some kind of a relationship with Sears no doubt for their own profit and not for the benefit of their customers. I put in for a quote on a new roof and I received a list of professionals in my area that could possibly contact me.

Need for snow removal. A relatively small job for a landscape company. They were more than willing to offer an estimate which they did in an extremely timely fashion and their work was completed to our satisfaction as well as in a timely fashion - they followed through as promised.

Replaced existing water heater. Arrived at scheduled time, installed new unit, and cleaned up afterward. Installation required replacing the vent pipe (gas unit) and that work was well done. We had an issue a week later and the contractor responded quickly on a weekend.
