They came out for ants and bugs and the guy was good. He was explaining everything to me. I told him I wanted to do the termites too. I guess he was gonna send somebody but they haven't sent anybody yet. Hawx is a good company and I'll recommend it.

Hawx is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The area that I live in is infested with rodents and bugs. I'm really worried about more of these mice getting in my home. The ticks and fleas are an issue too for my dog. It's another main concern I had for them to try to take care of. So far, it's been good. The pest activity is still the same, but it's only been a couple of days. I have to give it some time. Scheduling the service was easy and simple, no hassle at all. The technician was a nice guy. He asked all the questions that needed to be asked and answered any questions that I had. He did his job professionally.

The experience wasn't pleasant. I was moving in and under a lot of pressure from all the chaos around here. I have people coming to me for many things and the guy scared me about bugs so I didn't realize I've been covered by a previous plan because my son lives here. They treated for bugs and had only done partial in the front yard. So I said I would pay them for that but that I wanted to cancel my subscription because I already have one. I was told I could cancel at any time, and so I did. I sent an email. I called them on the phone, and I sent a text telling them that I no longer needed their service. It's been three days and no one has contacted me. I don't know until I get my bill what they charged me for.

I'm dealing with roaches. I was looking through companies and I found Hawx and was more comfortable with that one. Scheduling was easy. They were kind and polite, and they actually listened to where we wanted to spray stuff. There's less pest activity now, but there's still some and they'll be coming down on Wednesday again. I'd recommend others to call Hawx. They do excellent work.

Hawx Pest Control is a needed service. It’s effective, and dealing with them has been easy-breezy and simple. Christopher was a good and informative salesman. He made the whole process easy and gave us a good deal. We got everything taken care of at an affordable price.
Scheduling the service was a convenient process and the pest control tech was a nice, sweet guy with a great mustache. We've had hardly any sightings of carpenter ants and we feel comfortable going into our sheds without the fear of dying from a recluse spider bite.

Extremely disappointed with the service. Made my monthly payments but appointments were not kept. I complained and they only offered to come out again. I took them up on that offer and they gave me a four hour window to do inside work to treat for spiders. Tech did not make it in that window for which I had taken off work so still did not get done. Again complained and they offered me another four hour window so I attempted to cancel the service. Of course they wanted to charge me $200 to cancel.
I have news for Hawx. A contract is an agreement between two entities. I held up to my end by paying monthly but they did not hold up their end. They did not give a crap and still demanded the $200 which I eventually paid to be done with this piece of crap company. I continued to have pests despite treatments. All show no substance! They also treat employees horribly. For example I gave a four star review to a tech because he was late due to management overbooking him then found out he did not get an extra bonus because it had to be a five star review even though it was management's fault.
I wonder why I had a different teach almost every visit. I understand that the original owners still work for the company and have become multimillionaires despite offering nothing in service. So, Scott Wilson and Matt Mehr I plan to make it a life goal to tell everyone the truth about how crappy your company is and wasting hundreds of dollars for me. Oh, I forgot to mention I asked to speak to a manager and was told they don't take calls... how convenient!! I was told they would call me, however, I'll bet you'll never guess... no one ever called.... Surprise, surprise!!

Save yourself the money. The products this company uses are extremely ineffective. Get yourself a sprayer and some 30% vinegar and it will be more effective. When questioned about the poor quality of the products all customer service will allow is a warranty visit and they will not allow a cancellation of the service even though for a lack of a better term. Their service and products SUCK. Say nothing about the technician not doing their job. It is irritating when you pay to get spider webs removed but they only do the front of the house. So please!! Please don't make the mistake we did by hiring this no good company. Find yourself a local small business that truly care about quality service.

I had a roach problem. When I called Hawx, I wanted them to spray the inside of the house and the perimeter. But he did the perimeter, and then he did under my kitchen sink, and that was it. I needed the inside of my house done. I needed all the areas done where bugs like to be. The interpretation got mixed up about what I needed done. And after he sprayed, I still saw some roaches. We've probably got an infestation somewhere and it wasn’t addressed.
Scheduling the service is great. The time that they tell you is not. It's between 8:00 in the morning or 8:00 at night. So the whole day I've gotta be here. I can't go anywhere and I can't plan anything. The techs should at least call you 30 minutes before they come to let you know when they’re coming.

The Hawx plan is great. They have good prices. Plus I like that they’re an on-call business, so whenever you call, they're coming out. Normally, they come every three months. My most recent visit was fine. The tech was great. I've had him before. I had him do the outside area with the spiders being around the house. He knocked down the web and he sprayed. I haven't seen much of any once he came.

When I schedule service with Hawx, I usually call them and I've never had any trouble getting a hold of a rep. We had some mice in the garage and rats in the backyard. I was trying to take care of those originally. It’s been good. I haven't seen any in the garage. They're a good company.

If I could give zero stars I would. They charge little money sure but they do not work several months out of the year, some of those months are most important for pest control. You have to yell at them to cancel your account, but make sure they do cancel or you get hit with late fees. They charge you for work they do not do and they cannot provide proof of the work. They are unwilling to work with you on anything and their communication is **. The worst pest control in GA. DO NOT USE THEM. You have been warned.

Hawx has been great. I have two mobile homes empty that they do. Even the one that had tenants in it that were there at that time liked the technician. They said he sprayed well and was professional. We did a six-month contract and he said he'd be back in a week, but I hadn't heard nothing. It's been almost two weeks. When I called and scheduled, Hawx told me it'd be once a month. But I don't think that was communicated well with the technician. He thought it would be once a week. I suggest that the communication get a little bit more transparent between the office and the workers. But he was nice and had great manners. He was informative as well. I told him to concentrate on the cabinets and the kitchen mainly. It was an infestation so I told him he needed the whole thing sprayed and he did. I would recommend Hawx if others got a pest problem.

Communicating with Hawx has been fairly easy. The ones I'm able to speak with have been fine. The most recent service with Hawx was fine as well. They did two services in the same week. One was a general pest control and another was for termites. But I haven't been overly pleased with some of the past ones. There was one tech who used to come out to the house and everything was fine. He would go through everything with detail. The ones that came after him seemed like it was a very quick service. Sometimes, they would be here for 5 to 10 minutes and they're gone. I'm typically not here when that happens, so it's hard for me to say whether they're doing everything, like checking the mouse bait stations. Hawx is not the worst but not the best I've ever had.

We live in a rental and I just had a baby. I don't want any spiders. So, we got Hawx. Our Hawx experience has been overall great. The guys are always super nice. They shoot me a text before they come and ask if I wanna add mosquito protection. They come in and do their stuff. They'll send little pictures and go on their way. Every now and again, I've noticed black widows. My husband says they're normal around here, but I don't see them anymore.

I had a little roach problem that I was not used to. I ended up calling Hawx to see if it would work for me. Since they came out, we did see two more, so I had said yesterday that I was going to give them a call because I know they were supposed to call within 10 days to do a follow-up, but I haven't received that call yet.

They were okay with pest control. They forgot to check the bait traps most of the time and finally came back out to refill them. The major problem is trying to cancel the service. I didn't realized that I had signed a 3 year contract. So I was billed $199 which I paid just to get rid of them. They have a monthly billing and unfortunately in their portal they do not show what payments are being applied to which date of service. They also changed up the way they do their quarters December is the first month for the first quarter of the next year.... so for me they did a service 12.31.2024 then didn't come back until 05.05.2025. So nothing for 4 months but they consider it both quarters of 2025....
Now for payment. My payments for the services were the month of the service then the next to months to cover the $120. So December's service was covered by the December, January and February payments. They continued to take payments for March, April, and May which should have covered the May service. They then took June, July and August payments. I canceled in July 2025 but they still took August's payment. I was able to get my bank to take that money back because it was after the service was canceled. So now they have $80 that has not been applied to a service and they are billing me an extra $40. I have called and the people I get on the phone do not understand how this all works. When I ask what service my payments are being applied to they just keep reiterating that it is a monthly bill. They also will not let me escalate or talk to anyone other than the frontline people who have very little training on how billing works.

We wanted a treatment outside and around the property because we were selling it. We went with Hawx as they were the most convenient. They dropped by and did the treatment. That was the first time that they did a treatment and we got the report from them.

BEWARE OF HAWX PEST CONTROL!!! I signed up with the company because the sales agent, Hayden promised lots of services at a lower rate/quarter. He also assured me to refund the early cancellation fee for the other service company I had prior to subscribing. As soon as I signed up he disappeared!! I reached out to the customer service in calls and email. The service was so HORRIBLE!!! My brand new home had infestations of bugs and pests. We had wasps, hornets, bees, spider webs, mice, and other creatures nests all around the house. My family was not able to use the front door because of the many wasp nests at the front door!! We had to use the garage door when driving. My new house doesn’t look any more because of all the maddening nests all over the house! I had a house inspection for warranty reasons, the inspector got bit several times on different places on his body.
I repeatedly told Hawx of the infection issues including the Inspector being bit and sending several evidences. They sent someone for warranty service, but the issue persisted. I decided to cancel the service. They sent a private Inspector who reported an unusual surge of pests in his report, yet they refused to let me go without penalty of early cancellation fee. Let me also tell you, the quarterly payment was false!! They were charging me $54/monthly and early termination fee of $199. A few days ago I wrote them again to cancel the 12 months contract because their treatment wasn’t working for me and we had several proof. Grudgingly and without approval they automatically deducted my account with $253!! Several times I called and sent msg to the sales agent who lied and manipulated me into signing the lousy contract, he never responded!! THEIR SOLUTION DOESN’T WORK & they DON’T CARE to listen what the customer is saying.
I’ll STAY AWAY if I were you!! Don’t sign a long term contract until they’ve proven to work. Or else you’ll pay them double including cancellation fee for their horrible service. The guys sent for service were nice and kind, but I don’t know if did their due diligent. If they were then the solution was corrupted. My issue is not the field workers, but their Administration is bogus! Customer Service horrible!! The guy even got aggravated with me and was yelling when I told him I didn’t want their service any more. They only want your money!

Total scam. Their person came to my door told me how I would only pay 40 a month and they would come out every month. I set up a time, he goes over the contract on his IPad with me. Fast talking me. Long story short 7 months later and they have been out 2x. When they came out this last time I asked and he said sorry we have been busy. Then today I noticed they have been charging me $40 every month when I was told I would go in to the portal and pay after each service. Not AUTO pay as I specifically said I was not ok with. I call today and the guy tells me they only do a 1x every 3 months service and you have to call to schedule any extra services and they always auto deduct. When I paid the first time the guy assured me this was just for the first payment. It's a HUGE scam and what he put down in the contract was not what he was telling me as he was quickly reviewing it with me and taking payment. DO NOT USE THEM.

I did an Angie's List and Hawx was the first to call. They come out do treat the outside on quarterly service. We had a yellowjacket nest when we moved in and they took care of it. This was only a month ago and it seems like they're not coming back.
Hawx is pretty good. Good price and quick to respond. I was worried about having to get there, but they texted me when it was done. One thing we noticed was there's still some cobwebs around, but they were on the doorknob and some spots. But he mentioned that he dealt with some cobwebs. So that was the only minor thing that we saw.

I’ve been using Hawx for over a year now. I've never had a problem. Because if I call one of their policies, if you're having an issue in between your service date, and everytime I’ve called, they'll come out. And it's no charge, nothing.
Everything is just overpriced right now. So that's my only thing. I used someone prior to them and it's years and years ago I had somebody. If you came out every other month, that's when I paid and that's what I like. If you come out every other month or you come out quarterly every three months, then that's when I should pay versus a lot of these companies now.
There's a fee and they split it up and you pay every month. You're not going to spray my house every month, so, why am I paying you? So that's it, but it's with a lot of them. So it's not like it, most of them, they compete. So they have a lot of the same policies.

I had set up my service with Hawx online, and it was easy. No problem at all. The technician was great. I still keep seeing ants, but I had no problem with the technician.
I don’t really know if I’m gonna continue with the service or if I’m gonna go back to my own pest control product. When I did it myself, I stopped seeing the ants. So, I’m just surprised that with a professional, I’m still seeing activity. I’m gonna give it a couple more months. It’s about to be winter, so I don’t know what’s gonna happen with that, if the ants are gonna go away. I just want the problem fixed. So far, I’m almost totally satisfied with Hawx, but it’s just that those ants keep appearing.

I had ants and gnats in my house. The technician sprayed pretty well. He told me not to let my dog out for 30 minutes to an hour. I was grateful that he reminded me ‘cause I don’t wanna get her sick. He got rid of some of the ant piles. The technician was nice, and I haven’t seen any more bugs since. I call Hawx to set it up, but sometimes I have to wait a while on the phone. It’s hard to reach them. But, my experience has been good.

Watch what you sign. These guys want to twist you into a subscription that you pay monthly, but they service once a quarter. I needed a one-time service, and the guy had me sign some document. When I went to cancel, they dinged me for $199. They charged me for many months but never scheduled another appointment. They made none of this clear up front, so I urge everyone to read the fine print before signing anything with this company.

Somebody came to my door and sold me to switch over to Hawx. I like the natural approach and that they were going to do more than the bare minimum that I was getting with the other company that we were using. It sounded like they would give me more bang for my buck and what we wanted. Getting in contact with them is easy. They did the perimeter, and some carpenter bee treatments. They did the oil treatment around the house, as well as a termite inspection too. We do not have that much trouble with roaches or palmetto bugs, and they also do maintenance for that. So far, so good.

Hawx came to my house years ago, and they had a good deal. They offered more services than what I currently have with Orkin. Both the service and billing are scheduled every other month. They also come out whenever I need it, and they do not bill me anything extra. The technicians are always super friendly.
I have moved three times and they are in my area every time I moved. I always end up going back to them, so I have had them since 2018. They are reasonable and always good. There was a time when my credit card that I had on file changed, and I fell behind my bill. All I had to do was to call them, and there was no problem. Everything was fixed. So, it is very easy to fix an issue with billing. I highly recommend them.

This review is on the Southern California location. For all I know others pest controls might be OK. But if you’re in California run for your life. It is the ultimate scam. You ask for a contract for 12 months which magically turns into a 36 month contract and additional services require additional contracts. They’re not just all on one contract so when you cancel it because their technicians don’t show up or show up for four or five minutes and your problem hasn’t gotten even remotely better they charge you not one but two cancellation fee. Fees for two separate service services ants, and mosquitoes, even though you never signed the contract for mosquitoes to begin with. So you pay $400 to get them to stop doing what they weren’t really doing that didn’t help the problem at all and then you try to talk to them and it snippy toes.
They keep telling you you signed the contract as if that means that you are on the hook for their miserable attitude, ineffective Service and fraudulent business practices. This is not just my experience. It’s all over the Internet. Anywhere where they haven’t paid people to write good reviews. It’s one of the most blatant scams I have ever ever witnessed. You can’t gaslight me into telling me I signed two contracts when I know I didn’t especially when they’re for 36 months and I knew I was moving in a year.

I recently asked Hawx to check the house for entrance points that mice might be able to use to get in. It was a very positive experience. They were very professional and informative. When I signed up with them, I initiated one year service and then the inspection for mice was kind of a secondary thing. I initially called them because I had some stinging pests. I called them out, I got a call and a text. I got photos. It was a positive experience all the way around.
Their technicians are very professional, very helpful and informative. I spoke to Antonio one time, and he took the time to explain things, made me feel better about my questions about the situation, and then he reassured me that if there were problems, they would come back out and readdress them if needed. I did ask that in one occasion, and they did. I’d definitely recommend Hawx. They gave me upfront pricing, and it was very competitive.

I previously worked with Hawx Pest Control and they did a decent job. When I saw a huge increase in roaches all over my house, I was very concerned, so I decided to call them back in and so far, so good. I was satisfied with the deal I got.

Very dissatisfied with Hawx Pest Control. Pressure to sign a contract with lies that we had a bad infestation. Which we didn't have. They lied. !!! Wrote up the contract and I was to be the cosigner for my boyfriend. Instead they listed me as obtaining the loan. My boyfriend Never received a bill for ownership of the treatments on his property.

Honestly, Hawx is the worst pest control company I've ever encountered. Scammers and rip-offs. I had complained already 8 times for the same ridiculous problem: - My house, under their poor service, is now infested by several types of insects, including spiders. Over the phone, they promise to fix the problem, but in reality, they always send the same technician to apply the same product that never worked against the insects. They lie, they deceive, they are simply the worst ever. I strongly recommend you NEVER do any business with that company.

I signed up for their service. The first service did nothing for us, the guy hardly treated the inside of the house. I was billed for the second service which was never schedule nor performed. When I cancelled, I was billed $199 for cancelling and never refunded the fee for the second service. I asked to speak with a manager and their representative said everyone there would respond as he did. Said a manager would call, but that never happened.

They totally scammed me. The person who showed up at my door said there was a discount to sign up today. I then received a contract that was 10x more than what I was quoted. These guys are scam artists and very good at bait and switch. I would avoid at all costs.

Salesperson lied and told me I'd be able to cancel the 12 month contract after my 7 month lease was up because the place I knew I'd be moving already had pest control. The salesperson told me I would just need to provide a copy of my lease to cancel. Then, they are trying to charge me $199 to cancel. I get nowhere with the person on the phone and I leave several one star reviews and the owner responds with an email to contact on Yelp. The representative I emailed basically said the same thing so no resolution has been offered and the company has not even pretended to take accountability for their salesperson lying. I have never had to fact check a contract against what the salesperson is saying and they were very pushy about me signing it right then which is now making more sense. I would never ever recommend anyone go through this company, it is not worth the risk and if you have any problems customer service is nonexistent.

I’m writing this review to warn potential customers about this company’s cancellation policy, which I found to be unreasonable and poorly disclosed.
The Issue: When I tried to cancel my pest control service (which included both mosquito and roach treatments), I was informed that I would be charged a separate cancellation fee for EACH type of pest service - totaling $400 in my case.
Key Problems:• Cancellation fees are charged per individual service type, not as a single fee
• This policy was not clearly explained when I signed up
• The only way to cancel is by calling customer service and waiting on hold
• No online cancellation option available
My Experience: I had signed up for mosquito and roach control services. When my circumstances changed and I needed to cancel, I discovered the hefty per-service cancellation fees that made it extremely expensive to get out of the contract.
Recommendation: If you’re considering this company, make sure you thoroughly understand their cancellation policy before signing up. Ask specifically about fees for each service type and get it in writing.I hope this helps other customers make informed decisions.

I saw that they had a discounted rate. I called them up and the representative said that Hawx could meet our needs, so we used their service. I have had a German roach problem in the house that I used to live in a long time ago, so I knew what it was. When I called and I talked to the Hawx sales representative, I told them what we needed and they said that it was going to cover the roaches, ants, termites, flies, wasps, spiders, and fleas.
Then, the guy came out and he informed me that the roaches were not included because of their specific type. So, I asked him if there was a way out of the contract before he did the treatment, and he told me no. The roaches have not gone away in any way since he treated our place and did what he could. We had someone come out today to survey everything and look. Everything is fine, other than what we hired the initial service for. We wouldn't have gotten the service at all had we known that they couldn't get rid of the German roaches for us.

I have an issue with ants. So I told Hawx Pest Control I need them to stop the ants. The tech came and he removed the whole hornet's nest. The most important thing is stop the ants. They say if the ants appears, two weeks later, they will come again to stop the ants. I’m happy with Hawx.

I had a great experience with Hawx Pest Control. I previously had their service and then I kind of restarted it. With the most recent visit, I got the basic service as well as the free mosquito treatment. Their technician was very helpful, educational, and all those things. Great customer service.
Typically, they come out once every quarter. In between those visits, if I need them to come out for other things, then they will come out. I would basically just call if need be. They are a reasonable company, as far as the prices and treatment. I definitely would recommend my neighbors to Hawx.

I've been with Hawx for almost a year now. They were in our neighborhood and I decided to move forward because they were just there. Their price is good. BE CAREFUL OF HAWX. (I would give them Zero STARS) if there was a way. They will swindle you, lie and forge you to sign a contract. NO GOOD Un honest salesman came by to offer service. We asked for a 1 time pest control only. If we need more we would call back. The Salesman stated yes it would be ONE TIME $75 no more charges. He had my Fiancé to sign stating that she needed to sign because she used a debit card. Later that day she got a email about a contract stating there was a monthly contract. We called, talked to a Representative and she explained to disregard. There will not be a monthly fee and she would remove it. We are renting. Why would we want to have monthly extermination service on someone else property?
Week of 8.25.25 my dog was barking. I went outside. There was a pest control guy spraying the house. I asked, "Why are you here," he said it was on his list. I said, "I know nothing about this, did the owner called you?" He said he was told to come by. He left before I could find out what was going on. So I called Hawx and was told there was a contract. Then 3 hours later my Fiance was charged $149. We found out she was charge $75 a few months ago. A Pest control came by. We knew nothing about. So I had to pay $199 to cancel the contract. I had to give my Fiance the money back plus $199 I did not have and paid for something I did not own.
I called Hawx again, explained what happen, ask for a manager. No manager available. Someone will call back. 9/3/25 Called again. No manager or supervisor available. So I said if there is a issue with an account where something need to be changed and you can't change it So there is no one you can talk to make changes?. So you just work by yourself? I said if there is a customer who have 3 house need pest services and you can't help due to a system issue and you about to not make sales the company missed out on money. So you will just let the company or yourself not make any money? You would be written up? What a bad company. The company consist of all LIARS. So no manager available. What BS.

I had a massive rodent infestation problem. Hawx quickly came out and fixed it with poison traps. I haven’t seen a mouse around my home since. The team was highly professional and I was impressed by their use of technology. I was able to schedule, pay, etc. without needing to wait in line on customer service.

I strongly advise against doing business with this company. They misled my wife by falsely claiming that our HOA was undergoing changes—an outright lie. When we requested a refund, we were repeatedly dismissed and told by multiple representatives at Hawx that we were bound by a contract. After being ignored, I filed a complaint with the Attorney General. The company eventually issued a partial refund, but even in their response to the AG, they failed to get our names right and misrepresented the amount they had refunded. While it's entirely your choice with whom you do business, I feel compelled to share that this organization has demonstrated a clear lack of ethics and integrity in its dealings.

They are extremely deceptive and prey on the elderly. I was with another company that they bad mouthed and said that they could cancel the services and get me started with Hawx. I had to take over for my father as they were confusing him and wouldn't take no for an answer. Each time I said that we weren't interested, they came up with another promise and service. They won. I was pressured into a 12 month plan where I would receive lawn treatments in the summer and fall months and then pay reduced in the winter due to no treatments. They also said that I could schedule the treatments at my convenience and they would come as often as I needed at no extra charge. I've started home remodeling and Dad's living outside of the house. I've tried to cancel with no luck.
They charge this off the wall amount for cancellation but, promise that I won't be charged after my year is up. I haven't been able to get any type of refund due to the no visits with the house and lawn torn up. I've cancelled the credit card on file due to all the charges that were unauthorized and I get several texted with different messages to change my payment information and how they miss me as a customer. They are still tacking on charges daily. I can't seem to get rid of them. Do not answer their knock at your door.

They are the worse company ever and they over charge you and they never come out to spray and when they do the technician comes out and takes random pictures and they only come out for five minutes that it takes them to take the pictures and they leave. When you ask to speak to a manager they tell you they are not allowed to them to transfer customers to them because they don’t like to speak to customers.

Hawx Pest Control is extremely shady. I called to cancel my service twice already. I received a confirmation email that they canceled the service. I checked my bank statement and saw they charged me again! I canceled because they are overpriced, missed service dates, and randomly increased charges from the original agreed upon price! The person I spoke with told me I had one service remaining that I already paid for, would I like to schedule it. Sure. Never said that would keep my account active and I would have to call back to cancel again. Deceived into scheduling a final service to keep my account active, they kept drafting money from my account AFTER I CANCELLED!!!! They're thieves.

I had a disappointing experience with Hawx Pest Control. The salesman was enthusiastic, promising daily visits if needed and comprehensive pest and rodent protection backed by a strong warranty. However, after signing up, the service fell far short of expectations. The technician arrived and performed some spraying but informed me they didn’t have rodent cages, despite rodent protection being a key selling point. I was told they would reschedule, but the earliest available appointment was three weeks away—contradicting the “daily if needed” promise.
As of now, the rodent traps still haven’t been provided. When I contacted customer service for assistance, they were unhelpful and unable to resolve my concerns or expedite the appointment. Overall, the gap between the salesman’s promises and the actual service was significant. I cannot recommend Hawx Pest Control based on this experience.

Awful! To call this a scam would be being nice. They should be sued into oblivion. Don't come out when they're scheduled and force you to call to schedule, say it's their mistake and they won't charge for the month only to charge twice in one month and oh yea it does even work! They do not deserve one star and deserve to lose their business. And now we just want to cancel and they won't let us unless we pay a 200$ fee.. FOR WHAT? YOU'VE DONE NOTHING!

Let another "EcoShield" call and cancel my service causing my credit card to be billed $199 termination fee. After calling, made promises they would lower by monthly fee and add several extra services at no cost. When calling back to reinstate they wouldn't live up to their promises stating it was a new person that made those promises and shouldn't have. The big issue, they let another company cancel my services frequently. They send in young people they put up in hotels going door to door with high pressure tactics, making promise that are untruths.

Hawx Pest Control in Atlanta is the worse. After every visit you have to call back to set up another visit. The contract automatic renews without your approval and they will continue to bill you without any home visits. I had to pay an extra month and was forced to get another visit unwillingly and was told I have to call back to cancel new contract that I do not want nor requested. This company is a scam to get your money with poor services. This was the biggest mistake I made hiring this unreliable and dishonest company.

Hawx. Stay away from them if you don't want to be lied to and overcharged. It took me 4 month to finally get my service cancelled and 4 extra payments they should not have charged me. They use less than quality products and their customer service is the worst. I told the guy who signed me up, I'll give it a try on a trial basis. I also told him I would only sign up if they did my service in the afternoon....NO morning service. They never got the scheduling right and in April, they totally screwed up on an additional service and I blew a gasket and told them I quit.
They do NOT keep their word and all they do is give you EXCUSES on why they could not keep the appointments and whatever the case was...It was always excuses. After nearly 30 phone calls, God knows how many text messages nearly five months later I finally got them to cancel my service. I'm still waiting on the cancellation email.

Do not use them. They don't know anything, they don't research, they spray and fix nothing. I had them for 3 months and my issues only proceeded to get worse. My first issue started with springtails and they didn't even know what it was. Then that issue expanded and they came here 4 times in 2 months and still the issue wasn't resolved. It started with spiders, went to springtails, added centipedes, added beetles, added small spiders, springtails are still there. I called and cancelled and they charged per each service they upgraded. Run don't walk.

Beware the salespersons promised a termite inspection which never occured. The technican they sent in April 2025, said he would make sure that the termite inspection got set up. When it didn't, I had requested cancellation, as they failed to do the termite inspection. Today I received notification they wanted to set up quarterly service. I waited on hold 30 minutes. Manager Sohany offered no help. Instead she charged me for the next quarterly of $49 and $199 today for cancellation. They have charged me $494 for one quarterly home service. Sohany said the termite inspection would be set up soon. I received one quarterly visit and nothing else for $494. She charged me $199 to cancel and that I was billed for July monthly off $49. I asked for Sohany's manager and she said she is the manager and that she can't do anything about the charges but acknowledged that they did not do the termite inspection.

Service area S. Austin. Service requested - flea control and general pest control. My story is a long one but I provide it here to warn others of these issues. I initially contacted a general "contractor request" site when I discovered my dog had fleas. I panicked as I've had dogs for decades and never ever a flea problem. They are on preventative year round.
"Nephi" from Hawx called me immediately. I discussed the problem. He signed me up for 1 year saying I had to sign a 1-year contract. He explained that they come 1x/month but skip the winter months. (I later learned this is not the case - they do not come 1x/month unless you have a problem. They also do not treat the inside of your house unless you specifically request it - and that's just bs as usually one doesn't want bugs inside the house. Meanwhile you are charged monthly - problem/visit or not. Also their online booking platform has bugs - pun intended - you cannot check "inside service" on the site and submit).
Nephi also said someone could come the next day. Well, he signed me up for the outdoor service - which was a mistake on his part. I had already signed the contract. A guy had come out and I asked him about "fleas" as that was my specific and immediate problem. He had no idea what I was talking about. His name was "Jonathan" and I haven't seen him since. During that visit, while Jonathan was still here, Nephi sent me the updated contract. I needed to sign right then and there - he said he canceled the old one, and I had to select an appointment day. The app wouldn't let me pass on it. So I selected "Thursday." Nephi said he'd take care of wiping out "thursday" as the guy was already at my house.
On Thursday, "Matthew" came to my door. I had no idea who he was at the time. I have a "no solicitors" sign on my door, pointed to it - and he wouldn't go away. Then to my horror, he started to try and open my door - which was locked - to let himself in. I didn't know if I should call the police. It was really scary. Turns out it was Nephi's 3rd screw up and he never canceled my "Thursday" appt that was only made in order to submit the new contract. Ok - now back on track (not).
I did check out the company on Better Business Bureau and noticed a bunch of complaints re: the contract. I figured I was down for the year and would see how it went. Well, I'm definitely going to be canceling my service after my year is over as the first month has been hell. I scheduled with Matthew who can't seem to follow the scheduled time. I chose a 4-hour window but he never made it. I had to reschedule. He came out, but didn't treat specifically for fleas.
Now it's the 2nd time - and still no flea treatment. I was told by Jonathan (1st guy) that flea treatment should happen 2x - the initial treatment and then 2 weeks later. Matthew said that he'd come out ever 3 months. Nope - that's not what I was promised by Nephi. I'm paying monthly - so I'm getting monthly service. 2nd treatment - DJ comes out. He's wonderful. The ONLY wonderful service person thus far. He knew what he was doing. Treated carpets, dog bedding and fogged the yard - all specifically for fleas. Used "Pivot" which I could buy on Amazon for a hell of a lot less than their service - just an aside. DJay scheduled me for today, July 23 from 8-12 with him. I get a text from Matthew - but no time as ETA.
I call Hawx and speak to Gella and tell her that this is the 2nd time out of 2 that Matthew can't make the appointment. I ask to speak to a manager. Nope. I ask for a manager or owner's contact. Nope. I explain to Gella that I am a working person and I live around schedules. I expect that a service will uphold a 4-hour time frame. Matthew texted to say he can't make it before 12;00. So word of the wise: Do not make an appointment with Hawx unless you can be home all day and night to wait for them. If it reaches 5:00 pm (as it did for me with Matthew), and you've waited all the working day for these people - they will cancel on you. If you value your time, don't use Hawx. I highly recommend Roberts Pest Control in Austin. I've used them for 4 years. Really great with schedules. No bug problems. I will be returning to them next year. Hawx is TERRIBLE!!!!

Worst company ever. I had a hornet's nest. Company says they will arrive the next day and take care of the issue for $99, then will charge a lesser fee thereafter for monthly treatment so I agree. The service technician doesn’t show up and they don’t get back to me to reschedule so I cancel the service. After cancelling, a guy shows up at my house a week later unexpected. I told him I was not informed I had an appointment and that I already resolved the issue so he left. I then call the company and they say, "Sorry we don’t see you called to cancel so we are charging you a $200 termination fee." Keep in mind they charged a $200 termination fee after not performing any services and after only being in a contract for two weeks. Horrible company.

I gave HAWX in Linthicum Maryland one year. From the beginning I could not get anyone to give me a days notice before service. When I signed I wanted two specific areas serviced every time. The techs could not get it right. The contract ended so they could not “service” me but they felt they could still bill me. Payment for none service. We will see where this goes.

Do not do business with Hawx Pest Control. I would rate with a 0 or negative number if that option were available. I will change my review if they finally do what is right and what was promised. They lied about the toxicity of the chemicals used, came onto my property unauthorized, performed services I declined several times, killed the butterflies in my garden, promised refunds that do not come, do not make full and accurate records, and refuse to return my calls and/or follow up with a phone call. Ira **, Manager, seems to want to do the right thing. But, it appears corporate is disallowing promises he made to be kept. I've spent hours on the phone over months speaking to numerous representatives. It seems I am not being heard by any of them. Very poor business practices, all the way around, except for Mr. **, whose hands are tied.

Signed up as I was convinced they would do better than my previous company. Boy, was I wrong. Tried several times to get in contact with them to get my rat traps put out but they took their sweet time responding, A guy just shows up one day and says I'm here to do your service. Now this was weeks after the other guy who supposedly treated for the insects and after I finally got a response by text from the sales guy.
I did find two large rats there shortly after the traps being set, but my insects have increased a lot and there is no way to schedule them to come out, as I was told I could do at anytime with no extra charge, but to later find out, that they only do quarterly treatments, which I was told would be every other month, but charged monthly, which is what I had already explained to the sale guy, who lied about it all, except the name. So to save some money I think I will cancel my contract. I only had my other service because they were pet friendly, but my pet has passed and these guys are not who their salesperson said they are. Caveat Emptor!

Internal communication amongst kindergartners will provide you with more assistance and accurate Information than the sales associates and customer service representatives. I'm so unhappy with Hawx Pest Control. I feel I was manipulated into a contract I didn't need and don't remember any details of what I supposedly committed to. I recently recognized I was no longer in need of this service and when I called to discontinue my service, I was informed that I would be charged $199 to "break my contract" with them that I didn't realize was for 36 months.
I told the customer service person that I couldn't pay that amount right now. She assured me that a bill would be sent out and that I could pay that charge over time. Last week, I checked my bank account and it was overdrawn for that amount. I called them about it and explained what I'd been told by their own customer service person. They were unmoved, unsypathetic and unwilling to work with me on the situation. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they said, "We don't do that here." I'm not impressed, and won't be recommending this company to anyone. Make sure you listen to all the details, read the fine print and make sure it's something you're sure about or you may end up with an unexpected large charge on your bank account.

This company is SO bad! First, the guy that came to my door lied to me to get me to sign up. He said they would come monthly and that it was super easy to schedule each month by going online. I signed up for the service and was put into a 12 month contract on May 23, 2024 and my first payment came out that day. He did my first service that day. I was trying to schedule my next service date about 3 weeks later and it wasn't giving me any dates until 3 months out. I called and they said they only do service 4 times a year (quarterly) but I still have to pay monthly. I asked to cancel and told them that the guy that came to my door to get me to sign up lied to me, and had I known it was quarterly I would not have signed up.
They said because I was in a contract I could not cancel, but I told them that contract should be null and void since the guy got me to sign up by lying to me. I told them I even had proof on my ring camera. They still wouldn't let me cancel. I called 5 more times within the following 7-8 months with more and more issues. They never once showed up for scheduled appts and I had to call and place a "warranty appointment", but they were booked out a month. The spray also never worked and I never saw improvements in pest activity.
Every time I called I would ask to cancel again and would list all the reasons. They always said no, but said that once my contract ended it would be cancelled. Fast forward to month 13, I was charged again. I called to ask why and asked them to please refund that and make sure my account was cancelled. The lady told me that I was supposed to call between April 23 and May 20 to cancel and that since I didn't call within that 27 days window that I was entered into a new contract!
I told her to look at my account history and see that I asked to cancel multiple times. She saw those conversations on her end but said I didn't cancel within the April to May window so it renewed. She also said that she couldn't refund the new charge because it was a "valid transaction". She refused to let me cancel or refund me and was very rude during the entire phone call. I had to call my bank to dispute it and put a stop payment. Avoid this company like the plague!

While I did not have a problem with the actual service it ended on a sour note that makes me question the company overall. I had been a customer for a couple of years and wanted to close my account to save some money as we had a few unexpected expenses. Now that being said I did try and schedule and extra spray and they did not show but then rescheduled which I see a lot of complaints in the reviews regarding this.
At the same time I was offered a deal to spray for mosquitos too at that time however it was not clear that I was entering into a 3 year contract by doing so! I spent 30+ minutes on the phone after I said I would pay the early contract release fee of $250 and I still I was put on hold 4 times transferred 1 time. They would not let me go and wanted to trap me into another contract. I felt like I was doing battle on the phone and felt free after the call. Horrible Customer Service. When I want to restart pest control I will be going with a different company.

I started with them for mosquito control, then they sold me on termite prevention. For three years, I paid $300 a year to prevent subterranean termites, what they failed to tell me is that we don’t have subterranean termites in this area! An honest termite person told me that we only have wood-eating termites in this area. They knowingly sold me something that I did not need. I confirmed their knowledge that we do not have subterranean termites here with their own people. Don’t trust anything they tell you.

Please be careful about what they promise on the cancellation terms. They promised that we could cancel at any time without any fees, but when I requested to cancel, they charged me $199. To process the cancellation free of charge, they asked for proof of my move, such as utility bills or a mortgage payment agreement for my new location. However, I am moving to another country where I do not yet have any of these documents. Furthermore, sharing documents like a mortgage statement is not appropriate.

I signed contract with Hawx about a year ago, nothing but just problems I encounter with Hawx. Bad customer service, worst management and worst service. I schedule service on 5/14/2025 and their tech never showed up or even text me. I called the next day and try to schedule service that same day, but I was told that Hawx don't schedule the service the same day. Customer service schedule service on my house on Friday, the 16, 2025. Tech Josh showed up, just serviced my house from outside, by the time I opened my front door, the tech was gone. The technician never bother to knock my door to let me know what he did outside. When I schedule the service, I advised customer service that I need service inside and outside both. I called customer service immediately but their own customer service was unable to connect with technician Josh. Unprofessional customer service, worst service and overall a bad company.

We were sold a false bill of goods by a cocky, smug, door to door rep. The only reason we agreed to it was my wife wanted me focusing on other things around the house. That being said. They have canceled several appointments due to “weather” saying they would be back. No return visits. So by our calculations, they owe us 3 more treatments.
When they did show up, each time it was someone different, they would be texting us about posting a review before they were even done. I told them I would do it when they were done just so they would actually do the work. Which we had to call about several times because it seemed like they were doing whatever treatment they wanted, not what we had requested. Along those lines, customer service is terrible. It is very frustrating to try and get ahold of someone. The text see, to be computer generated or the person on the other end doesn’t have the decency to respond. This year I am going back to doing it myself.

The total bills have been satisfied for services that were never completed as I stated. Contract was canceled for cause; for which fees were paid. Late fees based on late fees is not legal or ethical. Have come to see that Hawx pest control is a scam and a hoax. You all have more people in collections for your contract than you have techs to do pest control.

On 1-17-25, we were approached by a door-to-door salesperson. He lowered the price from $240 to $79, so we decided to try it. 1st service was okay. A month later, we were charged $240, but we had not received any service. Their website for our residence actually had conflicting information which stated that we did and did not receive service. I was home all day & we have dogs in the backyard. Surveillance cameras also show they were not at our house. They did not provide any service.
We decided to cancel their service. They then charged us $199 for canceling early. Per their contract, if they don't provide service, you can cancel without the $199 fee, but they still charged us. We disputed the charges with our CC company (still unresolved). On 4-29-25, we received a text & email from Hawx claiming we owe them $50. We called to again tell them we cancelled our service & were told that they are charging $50 for an 'admin fee' for disputing their fraudulent charges. They are a corrupt company. Do not use them.

I've been with Hawx a couple of months and am very dissatisfied with their service. I've had a tiny (Sugar) ants infestation. It's been treated multiple times, but the ants remain. I scheduled again today, for my kitchen counter area. The technician came after the time I told him I had to leave. I received an email saying he completed treatment and asking how much I want to tip! I called the company regarding termination of the contract. You must pay to get out. You must obviously put up with bugs to stay in the contract.

Original review: Hawx is a terrible company to do business with… Was sold an outdoor package that I specifically wanted for red ants- After the tech was here he wanted a review for his work which did not include red ants… I said when that’s done you will get your review… Then the texts started from manager saying red ants were not included and they would add that to my house coverage for extra… Now I have 2 accounts… When I said I wanted to cancel all accounts—then the free services started… I did not want to further deal with them…
This morning after numerous calls… I finally got someone to cancel my accounts (hopefully). I was on the phone and on hold for over an hour—-they were probably thinking I would hang up…So now I have to hope this is all cancelled—since I’ve seen where other people called and were still charged after cancelling. For the so called outdoor acct. I was within my 3 day cancellation period. I had to pay $50 for a telegram to be sent to their office in Utah as another added protection that I was cancelling all accts within Hawx Pest Control… Very misleading company and the young people they send just want a sale and tell you whatever they want to make the sale… Then you find out services are not included.

I contacted Hawx Pest Control for a elimination of German cockroaches inside my mobile home trailer. They sent three different men over there and they only did 10 minutes of inspections then sat in truck for 30 minutes and did nothing but made personal phone calls in their work truck, then tried to charge me $300 to $1700. I tried to cancel this service and they promised me service for only $49 a month. They drafted multiple payments totaling over $109 for last month which includes $79 for monthly mosquito repellent, $49 for pest exterminating that I haven't received, $34, $24, and $14 for unrefundable fees that were automatically drafted from my debit card and I received nothing but employees sitting in their truck for 30 minutes to an hour. Is this really what I'm paying for?

Hawx repeatedly did not show up at the date and/or time scheduled for service. I gave them numerous opportunities by rescheduling the appointments to accommodate them. At the end of service time a week ago we were on the phone complaining to Hawx (4:45pm) that the tech did not show. The tech posted pics that she was at my home at the same exact time that we were on the phone! And, coincidentally the time of service she posted was 4:30-5:02pm)! Our security photos provide proof of this as well as the second tech who came a couple of days ago, who drove up, parked, and then immediately drove off.
I texted to inquire why he did that and he texted back that he had an emergency and would return, but didn't. When I called he did not answer. Two days later, the office sent a text rescheduling the appointment another 7 days out. I called to CANCEL the contract and after many attempts at "how they can help me", which I refused, they threatened to charge a $200 cancellation fee. Since my account is on auto-pay, I may have to take additional action against Hawx.

Salesperson duped us into signing a year long contract for our apartment building when we only need one visit. He told us to "sign for a year long and then cancel after one visit." We did call the man that came to do the ants the day of the service and told him we wanted to cancel-- "as we had been advised" by the salesperson. They only allow cancellations to be done over the phone, not online. The company then ignored the phone call and continued the contract anyway which we didn't find out until much later. After literally multiple hours on the phone with multiple people in different locations over several weeks we were told they would not cancel the contract despite us having texting proof that we "only wanted one visit". This is a dishonest business with deceptive sales practices that is not customer service oriented. We are now stuck with an expensive year long contract. Best to look elsewhere for a service, save yourself lots of headaches.

This company has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. When the salesperson offered me the service, he assured me that I could cancel at any time without any fees. I trusted his word and didn’t read the contract – my mistake. Now that I want to cancel, I’ve called THREE times, and every time they say there’s no record of my request. It seems like they ignore it on purpose! On top of that, the representative was extremely rude and unwilling to help. I just wanted to cancel a service I don’t even want anymore. If you value your money and your time, DO NOT hire this company! Terrible experience.

Should be 0 stars. This company is a complete joke. The technicians that have serviced my house have been kind and thorough and I hope they find employment elsewhere. That is the nicest thing I have to say about HAWX. First appointment for service, the technician went to the wrong address and treated my neighbor's house, not mine. The pictures they sent in the completed report confirmed it was not my house. My house is brown. The house in the pictures was white.
They came for the next randomly scheduled service and completed 1/2 of what was supposed to be done. We called directly and scheduled an appointment for service. The technician never showed up. Most recently, they were supposed to perform rodent exclusion work on my house. The technician was unable to complete all of the work and has not been back and I am getting continuous run around from "managers" when calling to get this resolved. They are more than happy to take your money up front and then provide a terrible service. Stay away. Run. Terrible company.

I absolutely do NOT recommend Hawx pest control! They were very dishonest and deceptive when they explained the cost for their service. A Hawx pest control salesman came to my door and told me the service would be $70 for a quarterly service for spiders, ants and yard bugs. I understood the salesman to say the service would be $70 per each service. However, when I reviewed my credit card bills, Hawx was charging me $70 per month for a 4-times per year service. They never said it would be $70 per month for 4 services per year!
When I called to cancel, they said a cancellation fee of $199 would be charged for early cancellation. At that point, I knew that I had been ripped off but I did not hesitate to cancel the service anyway. I believed it was better to take the $199 hit instead of paying the remaining $700 on my contract for a service I can do myself for about $50 and 2 hours of my time annually. To add insult to injury, the first service by the Hawx technician took him no more than 20 minutes total to arrive, spray and get in his truck and drive off. $280 for 20 minutes of work plus product cost is outrageous.

Buyer Beware. If you are considering Pest Control do not go with this company. They are liars and do not do the actual work, but then send you a text saying they did. When you call them out on it and cancel because you still have hordes of pests running wild in your yard and house, and you know they never did the work because the gate was closed the whole time, they then charge you another $199 cancellation fee. You are out numerous hundreds of dollars with nothing to show for it. They are dishonest and leave out essential details when selling you their product.
They have sales people going door to door who are not the actual service men. Then when there is a problem because they have actually broken the verbal and written service agreement, they rely on legal documentation that sidesteps the facts of what was discussed with the salesperson and the service that was never deliver, so they can screw you on the way out again with a ridiculous cancellation fee that was never even mentioned in the sales pitch. Just put Hawx Pest control on your never hire list.

If I could choose 0 stars I would. We started our service in the beginning of August 2024. They went up and down our neighborhood promising they were the best. We were told that we would receive service every 3 months. If we were having issues with pests between our service dates they would come out and take care of the pests. Sounds great and we chose to use their pest services. They did the first service and a month later we were still having issues with bees and fire ants. I called and emailed them but received no return call or email.
Suddenly mid November a service tech came to provide service. No call no scheduled service date. The tech apologized for the service being a month late. I informed him I called about the bees and fire ants. He said he couldn't take care of the bees because he had no ladder and the spray would not reach the peak of our home. I also informed him that my husband and I got bitten up by red fire ants causing a trip to the hospital for an allergic reaction. We also got bitten up by the Asian Beetles and the tech told me they were a protected species.
I replied to the rate my service text with how disappointed I was with the service and still received no call. I stopped paying the monthly service fee and finally got a call back. I told them I will no longer be using their services. The manager told me I could not cancel services due to my contract with them. They did not fulfill their part of the contract.... Of course they threatened me and continue to call 5-10 times per day. I would never suggest this company to my worst enemy!!!

I have been a customer of Hawx for a few years. When I lived in Raleigh, I had great service - they were good about communication, letting me know when I could expect them to show up, I felt I was getting what I paid for. I then moved to Sanford and they assured me this was still an area they serviced, however I stopped being notified of when they would show up, I repeatedly had to have them come back to the house as the fire ants were always a problem. A few of the technicians that came out were truly great to work with however most of the ones that came out did a pretty terrible job. I was ready to cancel at that point, however was convinced to enter a 2 year contract at a much lower monthly rate. My service never improved and I have been chronically disappointed, esp with their customer service.
Fast forward to now - I sold my home in Dec 2024, my husband and I are separating. The mortgage on our home was in my husband's name, the Hawx account is in my name. I have temporarily moved back with family so I do not have utilities or a lease statement in my name. Despite providing a mortgage closing statement that also has my name on it and car insurance documentation that shows my new address, they refused to let me out of my contract (which is up in Sept 2025) without a $200 cancellation charge because I do not have a utility statement with my name/new address and our mortgage is in my husband's name, even knowing I have sold the home and moved out state. I will never work with this company in the future and do NOT recommend them to anyone, given how terrible their customer service is as well as the declined quality of work they do.

I purchased a new home and realized it had a bug problem. I am a single mom and I am disabled (I have young onset Parkinson’s). I saved up enough money to be able to hire a pest control company and asked Hawx to come in and take care of a roach problem and a termite problem. For the roach problem, they were supposed to come in and spray for the termite problem. They were supposed to put poison traps around the house. I paid for everything upfront. I spent 2400 dollars.
When the technician came to my house to spray instead of spraying, they set up triangle bug sticky traps. When they came to put the termite traps in the yard, I found out shortly after that I would be charged $25 a month. Otherwise the traps would be dug up and taken away. I was not told this when I paid. When I called to complain that they never sprayed my house. I was told that I had requested a bug service and I got a bug service and the service was complete. I looked up the traps that they put in my house. You can buy 100 for about $10 on Amazon They put about 15 traps in my house. You can also buy the termite traps on Amazon for about 120 not $1500. When I said I don’t wanna pay $25 a month. They said they will come take the traps away. I would love a refund- honestly take the traps if you will give the refund.
The technicians have since been fired. Hawx has offered to still offer me the same service and actually come out to spray and fix all the problems, but let’s be honest. I took off work, cleared my house, prepared it to be sprayed and that’s my time and then spent way too much time on the phone with people, insisting that my house gets sprayed Because that’s what I paid for. I do not know how to get my money back, but that’s what I would prefer so if Hawx read these realize whoever represents you in North Carolina are real quick to steal money from a disabled, single mother just trying to make it in the world.

Bait & Switch - once you’ve signed up and paid they could care less about delivering on their promises. I prepaid for the whole year and it’s impossible to schedule to have them come out and service in between the quarterly service. As for the quarterly service they don’t schedule it with you. It’s almost like a wait and see and if you call to talk with anyone you get such a run around. Even if you have a confirmation message and you tell them they didn’t show up there isn’t even a, "Sorry." It’s a, "Oh ok. Let’s set another 8am-8pm window for two or more weeks out and see if they show up that time." Zero customer service or communication. I wanted to like them but this is not ok.

Higher-price, less effective product, indifferent on-site techs. Switched to Hawx and am regretting it. They offer unlimited scheduling, but I am also having to reach out once to twice a month. I was not having to do that with my previous company. When I ask on-site techs to focus on specific things, ie Wasp nest or traps, they say they will but then when I check later the issue is still there. The reports they provide are almost zero help as well.

We have been using Hawx Pest Control since 2021, but unfortunately, our experience over the past several months has been deeply disappointing. The issues began when one of their technicians falsely claimed they had entered my home and provided services when, in fact, they did not. They merely stopped by, took a photo of the exterior, sprayed the front yard, and left. Despite waiting all day for them to complete a full service, they failed to do so. Since August, I have repeatedly reached out to their customer service department seeking a resolution. I was consistently promised a call back, but no one from their billing department or customer support ever followed through. Communication with this company has been frustratingly one-sided; they send frequent text messages but rarely make calls or leave voicemails.
Today, after months of back-and-forth and no resolution, I spoke with a representative named Jade, who provided a final discount of $25. I ultimately paid $60 to close out my quarterly contract. While Jade was courteous and helpful, she was the exception in an otherwise unprofessional and inattentive customer service team. Hawx Pest Control seems far more efficient at billing than at delivering the services they promise. Their technicians do not perform thorough inspections or treatments unless you are physically present to oversee their work. Claims that they service your home thoroughly, both inside and out, are questionable at best. I do not recommend Hawx Pest Control to anyone. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and inadequate service make them one of the worst pest control companies I’ve encountered. I am relieved to be done with them and would strongly advise others to explore alternatives.

Hawx service is almost criminal. I was approached at my home to retain their services due to ant hills all over my yard. I was quoted by their salesperson that it was a one time charge of $65 for this service. He never gave me any paperwork or contract. Only to find out a few months later they had been charging my credit card that fee each month. I immediately contacted them and told them I had not agreed to that. They then proceeded to tell me that I can cancel it. Well, we did on that call. The next day I see a $195.00 early termination fee.
On top of these charges we also find that our shrubbery died because of their spray. So I call again, she said since I canceled early they could not send anybody out. So I had her turn it back on and send somebody. They show up and blame the dead bushes on fungus. Funny we get a fungus on them just after they sprayed. They would not return any money or replace what they damaged. I would not refer this company to my enemies. Terrible business!!!!

I would not give them a star!! Terrible service. My dog was ate up by ants. Could not even let him outside and run anymore. They are in the house now and we have made numerous of complaints, they have sent someone out and nothing gets done. I have pictures of my dog and all the ants outside and inside. They refused to cancel the contract after they did not meet the contract after 4 complaints. My advice is do not use this company!!!

This pest control company has been one of the worst I’ve ever encountered. They seem to spray water or something equally ineffective. Their employees are deceitful, often lying to pressure you into service upgrades. Be sure to monitor your credit card for overcharges. Their technicians corner you on-site, insisting on a 5-star rating, and if you refuse, they simply don't do their job. I've even caught this behavior on camera. To top it all off, they charge $53 per month (including tax) for this joke of a service.

This is the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. I sold my house in South Carolina in November and have moved to New York. I am in the process of purchasing a condo where they already have their own pest control service. But this isn't good enough for Hawx. I sent them the closing statement to my house in South Carolina but they want utility bills from my condo. What the heck! You don't know how much I have ranted with the customer service. This is disgusting treatment and I would never recommend anyone using Hawx.

I’m extremely disappointed with Hawk Pest Control. I called multiple times to request a second service because our box elder bugs are out of control in the fall. Despite their service guarantee, they kept putting me off until it was time for my regular quarterly service. Frustrated, I had to buy my own pest control supplies and treat my property myself. When I called to point out that their contract clearly guarantees service between scheduled visits, they still didn’t address the issue. Instead, they charged me $200 to cancel! This company does not live up to their word or their contract. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

Called Hawx Pest control the Utah office at the end of September 2024. Told them to cancel the service. The lady that I spoke with said that she would like to send someone out to do one final visit. Kept telling her to cancel the service. She said that she understood and that she wanted to send someone one more time. We had signed up for their service in Aug 2023. The salesman said that they would be out every 3 months. From Aug 2023 to Jan 2024, they never showed up. In Jan they say they came out, but they have not been showing up and the next visit after Jan 2024 was May 2024. We had to cancel the visit that we scheduled for July 2024 for warranty, they then were scheduled to come out on 8/2/24 and never showed. Then in Sept 2024 was when called to cancel the service. They kept me on hold for over and hour and half.
That's when she said your account has a $100.00 credit and we want to do a courtesy visit on 10/2/24 and your service will be cancelled. Then on 11/1/24 we get an invoice saying we owe them 48.71. When we called the guy, we spoke to this time said you was supposed to call back to cancel the service. Now we have a bill, and we don't feel should have pay the bill since they were notified in September to cancel service. When we were told that we had a credit for them not coming as they documented. We have cameras around our home, and they had never sprayed the back yard since we have a lock on the gait as well. We have multiple cameras around the house, and they never showed anyone coming out.

Similar to other reviews - this is a scam. Do not fall for the young, enthusiastic salesperson who comes to your door. I agreed to the service for a monthly charge, assuming that - if it didn't work out, I simply would cancel. Well...it turns out that they processed a "contract" that they assert was accepted by me, with a large cancellation fee. The contract (which they had to send me) has a typed signature on it - with my name spelled incorrectly. Clearly not legal - but there is no recourse. You can only cancel by calling them...and their account reps are effectively trained to not give you any alternatives to continuing to pay the monthly fee or the large cancellation fee. Getting thru them is impossible...and they are a dead end. I will be stuck paying for many more months for a service that provides no discernible benefit. DON'T FALL FOR IT!

THIS HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES WE HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. THEY COMMIT FRAUD ON ALL LEVELS. Had a salesman come to our door. Asked us if we wanted monthly or quarterly service. We wanted monthly because of our pest problem. Came 7/29/24, then called 9/11/24 wondering why no one has came to our house and that our bugs are worse than before. They sent someone. Upon taking to the gentlemen he informed us in order for the pesticide spray to work it would need to be followed with water to activate the spray. Nowhere in your contract does it state this. Not to mention your company failed to come monthly as asked and promised.
We canceled our service because if we knew we had to spray water after we pay someone to take care of our bugs we would not have signed up in the first place. They are trying to charge us a cancellation fee and we will not pay it due to them failing to mention this in their contract. If we had all the necessary info prior to signing and if we knew this we would not have signed. THIS COMPANY FRAUDS PEOPLE AND THEY NEED TO BE TAKEN DOWN!! LA COUNTY IS ALREADY SUING THEM SO I HOPE YOU GUYS HAVE GOOD ATTORNEYS HAWX. I’m sure you will be getting more lawsuits following. We hired the service, the sales guy knocked our door, sold us that they would spray every square inch of the front and back yard, every bush, everything. Then same day when the person came, he did not even 10% of what he was supposed to do. We've called many times, the sales guy disappeared.. called Devin. Now Hawx told us they cancelled our service because a guy we spoke over the phone trying to get this sorted out, added a note from our call as if we were interested in cancelling. We never gave the specific instruction. Now they are charging is cancellation fees. Of a service that was sold to us lying by the sales guy, they only repeat like a parrot that they were not there in our conversation in person with their employee at home so they don't believe us.
The clients for them is the last, not the first. They don't care if an employee lied to sell the service, because what they do, how we saw they do it, is of poor quality. The person that came to us lacked good manners, had attitude. Although we informed of all of us, even showed videos from our security cameras, they just dismiss anything treating as if we lie and they won't waive any fee. The service was bad, in person, over the phone, lying misleading and then not taking ownership, no accountability of what their employees said and did.

This company needs to be stopped from scamming. Just like the hundreds of other negative reviews on Hawx, I was told and agreed with the gentleman at my door on a one time service. The mosquitos were bad and took a chance… Little did I know, it was bullcrap. I have been charged $79 for 6 months and only had someone here on the initial signup day. I never signed anything except for my card transaction and yet I was sent a document claiming I signed digitally for a year contract. Now I have a new charge owed on my account for $199. What in the heck is going on. The man I got in contact with hung up on me and said good luck with your credit!

I had a disappointing experience with Hawx Pest Control, which started when a representative (Andrew) came to my door and convinced me to enroll in their services. The plan included pest and termite control. However, after their first application, I noticed they didn't include termite baiting service as expected. When I inquired, they explained that termite baiting wasn't necessary for termite control. I asked if they could guarantee that, but the representative admitted there were no guarantees, only evidence to support their claim. Since they couldn't provide a guarantee, I decided to cancel the service.
After that, I was surprised to receive ongoing bill notifications, despite canceling the service. I reached out to the representative who originally signed me up, but he never responded to my calls. I contacted customer care, explained the situation, and confirmed my cancellation. Despite this, I kept receiving bills, and now a fine has been added.
I called the billing department to resolve the issue, but they were not supportive, even though I presented my case clearly. This whole experience has been frustrating. The representative misled me with verbal promises that the company now refuses to honor, and I am left dealing with unwarranted bills. I would not recommend Hawx Pest Control to others based on my experience with their lack of transparency, unresponsive customer service, and poor handling of billing issues.

The man knocked on the door and said hello. Very polite, professional liar. Everything he told me, was a lie. What he said was, $67 per month per service....what really happened was 1 service per 3 months worth of payments. So, now I call Hawx and they say.... "Well, we can come out on a Warranty" visit and they came. What a pain in the **!! I still have bugs, I still got charged and still had no service, accordingly. So, I cancelled my contract.
They charged $199, because I failed to maintain quality service. They charged me $199, because I failed to maintain a quality service....just so you know ahead! The reason I paid is, it cost me $199 to get rid of an idiot, that I never have to deal with ever again. DO NOT use Hawx.... Bugs never went away! And Tio the supervisor, I would not hire to dig a hole....but Brenda needs a raise. Excellent job Brenda and thank you for your professionalism and work ethic to resolve the problem.... You deserve a raise. Now I am going on social media and BBB to share my awful experience with Hawx.

I was cheated by them. Salesperson signed me up stating it will cover termite and gave fire ant as additional. And he did not tell about cancellation fees. I signed for it, paid $39 per month only to realize it doesn't cover termite. After requesting them to cancel the service, they charged me $199. I was deceived. It’s a rip off. They charge you and keep charging even with your contract is even if you tell them you don’t wanna do their contract anymore. They will keep charging you. Hawx is a rip off. They will continue to take money at your account and will try to wrestle you into Doing another contract with him after year is over. Hawx is just simply rip off. Go to someone else. Do not call. It is a fraud. My contract says the fee is 39 USD/month, but they charged 380 usd in three months for only two visits. I have more spiders and mosquitos in my yard now. All they want is your credit card number. When they get it, they keep charging you several times a month.

I highly do not recommend Hawx Pest Control for any homeowner. I was deceived by the salesperson when I signed up who never initially mentioned it is a subscription based service. He also never mentioned that I would be billed every month, or the billing frequency at all for that matter. He just told me the services were $39.99. I told him that the current company I was with at the time Rocket Pest Control Services was about $85 per quarter and he stated that Hawx is cheaper. But he FAILED to mention that the $39.99 fee is a monthly fee, not just the service fee for whenever they come out to your house (therefore making it way more expensive than the previous company I was with).
He said it was per pest control treatment/visit. He then had me quickly sign paperwork while I was on the phone with him so I never never had a chance to read all of the lengthy paperwork. I had never been asked by a salesperson from any company to hurry up and sign during the actual phone call. Most other companies usually email the forms/contract so you can actually read it & then sign it. But that's not the way this company works I guess. But when you are sales-rep, you are supposed to give full disclosure of what you are providing to the customer instead of leaving details out, and hoping they don't see THE TRUTH of their services while they are quickly asking you to sign during the actual call. He actually never emailed me anything!
The only reason why I found out it was a subscription is because I called wondering when I was going to receive a bill for my first service I received (trying to be a law abiding citizen). And now I am stuck in a contract for an entire year and paying way more than I was with the previous company. I called the company to try to get out of the contract but the rep stated she couldn't. I'll never recommend this company to anybody and will be sure that I cancel the moment I am able to. They conduct bad business.

Hawx has very deceptive practices - I was told I could cancel anytime at no charge. The service was so unreliable and poor that I cancelled after 2 visits and they charged me $199 as a cancellation fee - when I refused to pay they harassed me repeatedly and said the contract I signed included the fee - however I only signed at the door with the salesman who told me there was no cancellation fee and did not provide the document to be read but just a tablet with sign here. Absolutely the worst service and a terrible company just ripping off consumers.

I see from the list of reviews that Hawx has a lot of negative reviews some of which wanted to give you a ZERO on service and others on mis-representation. Multiple people said "he said 4 quarterly applications, first on at $99 the rest at $59 and you may cancel if not satisfied with service. I thought it was $59 for the other 3 applications."
Note, I interpreted the "... $59 for the other 3 applications" as each, even though the word "EACH" was missing in the "$59 each for the other 3 applications. I see we were ALL WRONG, found out when looking at my CC statement I was being charged that amount each month; my complaint on service I can't judge because I only had the one application.
When I complained to Hawx Milwaukee branch/franchise he said, "Didn't you read the contact, it said monthly charge," I said, "I never saw/given any contract only what was on his lap-top/note." I said, "I will be canceling this service," he said, "I would have to fill out a request/send a cancellation request and canceling will be a $199 fee." Well, I didn't need to because he violated/broke the contract because I called my CC company and found out he had JUST added a charge of $199 to my CC. SO BEWARE, at least a day before you complain be sure to contact you CC company to have a replacement card issued with a new number to avoid them charging you anymore.

I was approached by a representative of Hawx and offered a one-time pest control service at the price of $69, followed by an optional quarterly upkeep for $59 per quarter. At no point did I agree to any further services or sign any contract authorizing a recurring monthly fee. I was assured that there was no cancellation fees if I wished to stop services. As I signed the credit card bill for the initial $69, the representative took my phone for a moment as he claimed that he needed to enter a code on my phone.
Unfortunately, I was naive and gave him my phone and that is when he must have electrically forged my signature. Or perhaps he used the signature on the credit card receipt to copy and paste the signature on the contract. As soon as the sales representative left, I saw that I received a welcome letter. That is when I realized that something was not right. I immediately texted the sales representative and he stated that he would send me an addendum to this agreement that I never agreed to. I never received an addendum as it was not real. In his text messages later on, he assures me that they shouldn't have charged me a termination fee.
They have been charging my credit card without permission. I have contacted them multiple times via, phone, e-mail and text messages. They charged me $59 without permission (no services rendered) and then they finally canceled the forged contract and charged me $199 termination fee. I have everything in writing via text from the salesperson. They supposedly have a 24 hr window to cancel the contract. Although I did not sign the contract, I knew something was not right so I sent them an e-mail within the hour with the information that I discussed with the sales representative. They never responded.
They now have my $258 and on top of that, they keep harassing me and sending me messages starting that I still have a balance when in reality they owe me $258. I have screenshots of the text messages and e-mails. In addition, I contacted customer service multiple times and they would not help as it seems that they are all in on this nefarious business operation. I spoke with Tiffany and Casey.

I rarely leave one-star reviews, but my experience with Hawx Pest Control has been nothing short of a nightmare. Working with this company has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences of my life. I was initially lured in by a persuasive young salesperson who promised better service and greater convenience compared to my previous pest control provider. Unfortunately, I couldn't have been more wrong.
Hawx is supposed to provide quarterly services and offer additional visits when needed. However, they completely missed one of the quarterly visits and consistently failed to show up for multiple appointments I scheduled afterward. Almost every time, they either didn’t come at all or missed the four-hour appointment window, making it impossible for them to address the main issue I hired them for—spiders in my basement.
The last straw was yesterday when I took time off work for a scheduled visit between 8 AM and 12 PM on September 16th. Not only did they fail to show up, but they also didn’t bother to inform me of the cancellation. Hours later, I received a random text informing me that my appointment had been rescheduled for October 7th, nearly three weeks later.
Hawx Pest Control has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They have repeatedly wasted my time, neglected their contractual obligations, and left my home untreated despite paying my bills in full. Do not make the same mistake I did. Avoid Hawx Pest Control at all costs. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and a complete waste of your time and money.

STAY AWAY! If I could give them 0 start I definitely would. They do not provide the service they promise. Canceling your service after your contract. Haha forget about it. They will tell you it is canceled and that they will call you the following day. The final service came and no call. That's how they get to steal your money for 1 more month. They will say you didn’t cancel it on time because you didn’t call back.
HAWX smart pest control will do half the work they said. I have it on video the guys coming and barely doing of the pest control. They come up as far as the tree in my yard and throw a few granules here and there and leave. They don’t complete the job. Weep holes never touched, flower bed never touched, around the house, never touched. They are thieves and looking for nothing more than a way to steal your money under the disguise of a service provided. You have been warned, STAY AWAY from HAWX Smart Pest Control. They are a subpar pest control service and you will not be getting the service they sold you.

I paid off the obligatory 12 mo contract for 4 service visits/year, but found no way to cancel online. I removed the payment credit card and sent an email cancelling services. They billed for the 13 month anyway for which no service had been rendered. Then the collection calls at early and late hours started. I took most of these calls and spoke with 6 or more people who simply would not take “NO” for an answer. They held me on the phone up-selling, discounting, questioning, and demanding that I pay the 13th month bill - remember the 13th invoice in August is 1/3 of the billing for an October service date. The Hawx customer service folks are obviously trained with predatory practices. The actual service was poor - I noticed no change to the outdoor infestation, and the service people they sent were sketchy. DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH HAWX - YOU WILL REGRET IT. DEFINITELY DON’T LET HAWX PEOPLE IN YOUR HOME.

Hawx Pest Control lied to us and said they will service our house every month, just to get us under contract. We have them on our ring camera agreeing to full service every month and they created a contract with my wife with me as the authorizing user even though I did NOT authorize the contract. This Saturday a Hawx rep showed up and stated to my wife that he was not there for full service, just checking the outside and if we had any any problems.
This obviously went against our agreement, as my wife watched him do nothing in the lanai/pool area (where the spiders gather) and supposedly took a few pictures of the outside and sprayed some ant gel around the outside of the house. I called customer service this morning (which is pretty much the worst customer serve ever imaginable) and they straight up lied to me about completing a full service, the customer service rep at first told me that he did not do the service, then on the same call tried to tell me he did the full service.
I told him we had an agreement for monthly full service and that Hawx should honor that agreement. He refused to budge and kept telling me that the reps that sold us the agreement gave us misleading information, in other words, they straight up lied to us in order to get us under contract. He used the words "misleading information" about 40 times during our call. Hawx does this so you can get under contract, then pay $200 to cancel the contract that they are not fulfilling. This is a horrible business practice and they are totally content with how they lie to everyone to get you under contract. The customer service rep kept reading from a prepared binder with the same answers over and over again.
He stated he was a sales manager when I asked to speak to someone above him and that he was it, there was nobody else above him to talk to. I tried to get them to cancel our contract but they would not budge on the $200 cancellation fee. Even though they are in a breach of contract for not fulfilling their commitment to monthly full service and for starting up a contract without my authorization. I explained everything to them so we could just end our agreement amicably, but they are so hard-headed about getting that $200, it's part of their scam. In short, HAWX are super sleazy and lie straight up to you so you'll get under contract. Their service is horrible, their customer service is absolute crap, and they have no respect for their clients.

I sent a email to cancel the auto renew the contract as suggested on their website. The contract stated my last payment was in June. I also spoke to one of their reps named Mike and told him I was moving out of state so the contract cannot be auto renewed because the house is a rental and I will not be there. They charged me for June and and July and now refuse to refund July that I technically should NOT owe them. I had already contacted them and advised TWICE to NOT renew the contract.

We signed up with Hawx in May 2024. They charged us 59.99 monthly on our charge card. They came and sprayed the outside of our house for spiders and other insects. They said they would spray inside our garage and basement. That did not happen...after the contract was signed they said they could no longer enter a garage or house. The insects continue to eat holes in our plants outside, the spiders continue to bite my husband and me.
In addition, their contract says to call the account manager to stop the service, but the account manager tells me we have to pay to stop the service. They insisted on checking our attic for rodents and of course said they found a mouse hole in the insulation...quoted an enormous price to exterminate for mice...that we have never seen nor had any damage from. We declined but they continued to call us wanting to do another rodent inspection which seems to be their big money maker. The company is a scam. Do not sign up with them.

It's incredibly shady that so many of these reviews are very negative but still are marked as 5 stars. We have been paying monthly for quarterly services for a couple of years with Hawx. Last year, they simply stopped coming to provide the services. Each time we schedule a time for a service, no one shows up. When I inquire about a refund (or ANY remedy) for the many months we've paid with no service, I'm met with dishonesty and evasion. I have rarely been so disgusted with a customer service experience as I have been with the service I've received from Hawx. Avoid this company at all costs, do not allow them to scam you or your loved ones.

This company uses deceitful practices to secure your signing up, then hides behind their unspoken "policies" when you realize what's going on. You are then charged huge amounts to cancel. After we began having issues, I looked into them further and was amazed at the amount of info out there, showing a very popular trend. Stay away from this company.

I had a rat in my attic. I reached out to Hawx and they came out the next day. They were awesome. The two servicemen were so professional and polite and just as helpful and nice. I couldn't ask for anybody better. It was an awesome experience. I can call Hawx and they're immediate. They act like they care. I love everything about them. I have never been so satisfied with a company in my life.

I strongly advise potential customers to exercise extreme caution when considering HAWX Pest Services. My experience as well as many other customers has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Initially, I was assured by their sales representative that services will include OUTSIDE of the house as well as INSIDE, and while it was a year contract, I will only pay $60 for the quarterly service (4x per year) but I could call for service anytime outside those four instances. First visit by a tech took a 5 minute spray - walk around the house, and adamantly refuse to do the inside because "they do not provide that service." Ah?
I decided to search for their facilities in my city and visited a couple of days later. It was an empty office, no sign, no company vehicles, only a small label with a number to call in case of need of assistance. I called several times and left messages, never received a call back. A couple of weeks later, I wrote a detail email requesting to immediately cancel my account. I received a reply, asking to call an account service number in Utah.
I called requesting to canceled my service, the person at the other side try to change my mind for at least 10 minutes, than transferred me their Manager, offering to lower my monthly service by 50% in addition to a couple of complementary service visits. Upon my refusal to do business and persistence to cancel services as inform that canceling my service triggers an automatic $199 canceling fee. Incredible! after 30 minutes of haggling in the phone, I hung up, to check my bank account, I could see the pending charge $199. Ah? Immediately I went online to search for HAWX reviews thinking this event was an isolated. I found a mountain high of complaints for unethical business practices extending across the county, to include a couple of pending class action suits for violating the consumer protection laws! Ah?
It is evident HAWX business model is designed around deception, unethical practices, and consumer harassment until people simply give up and pay their fraudulent canceling fee! A bullish attitude towards consumers.... I urge potential customers to be wary of misleading sales tactics and false promises. Do not be swayed by persuasive salespeople who may promise anything to secure a sale. My advice is to seek pest control services elsewhere to avoid the pitfalls I encountered with HAWX Pest Services. This company is absolutely horrible. They have no problem charging you every month but they will only show up late if they even show up at all. On top of that they try to strong arm you with a contract that they aren't even adhering to. They are frauds. You can save yourself hundreds of dollars and just buy the same stuff they're using on your home at the hardware store.

Like many of the other 1 star reviews I read I had a salesperson come to the door and made the company sound as if I could trust them. I explained that my main concern is spiders have become a big problem and I wanted them to focus on this. After the 1st treatment they sweep away the spider webs but within 2-3 weeks later they spiders are back. They did come out and and do another treatment about 4 weeks later and I had the same results. They came back again about another month later and treated again. I still had about the same results. The service was supposed to be every 3 months and follow ups as needed. My next treatment was supposed to be in December and they never showed up.
I called around the the 1st of March 5 months after the last treatment and informed them they were in breach of contract and I want to cancel the service. The person I spoke with was very unprofessional, rude and refused to let me speak to his supervisor after he charge me a cancellation fee. I ended up giving in and they came out a did a treatment. As usual the treatment did little to resolve my spider problem. My contract was to end in June 2024 so I just paid for the service and told them when the contact was up I am going to cancel the service.
On June the 3rd I got a email stating my service has been cancelled and I will receive no further services (Another breach of contract by Hawx pest control). I called and told them that my contract is not up until 6/23/24 and I want my last treatment that I paid for. They refused to provide the last treatment. This is theft by deception and failure to provide the guaranteed services I was promised and paid for. If this company come knocking at your door tell them you heard about the services they provide and it is bad. Then shut the door in their face.

Do Not Use Hawx Pest Control Service. I had a terrible experience with Hawx Pest Control. They lied about the services they provided and then attempted to upsell me when I contacted them to repeat a service. When I asked to cancel, they persistently tried to push their premium package on me. Despite explaining multiple times that I did not want to work with a company that lies to its customers and wanted to cancel, they became rude.
When I mentioned that I would be writing to the Better Business Bureau and posting reviews to share my experiences, their response was shockingly unprofessional. They said, "Go ahead, we will post the service contract agreement you signed with us." I strongly advise against using Hawx Pest Control. Their deceptive practices and poor customer service make them a company to avoid.

Seriously this company is such a scam! They flat out lied and said told us we could cancel anytime, but you have 3 days! We were stuck in a contract for a year and they only come out quarterly and literally made absolutely no difference! We still had to do our own control. They are rude and unprofessional. They continually try to up your rate. After fighting them for a whole year and canceling as soon as we could this month, they are telling us after our account is closed we owe for this month!

My experience with Hawx was terrible. Missed appointments that they claimed were fully serviced (I was home the entire time, no knock at the door, my dogs didn't bark, they weren't able to get into my backyard unless I let them in), didn't come prepared for proper treatment despite me requesting what I needed, poor note taking, charged me even when they didn't show up for services. Scheduling links didn't work. When I tried to initially cancel due to this poor service, they offered me a credit and promised to send me "their best technician" the rest of the time - that person came once. Then no scheduled visit and the last time I called to schedule, they didn't show up again - I stayed home all day. When I canceled for the last time, they refused to give me a credit for the money I had paid for the past three months without receiving any services. A really terrible company.

This was a lesson to never trust door to door salespeople. The salesman was quite a charismatic charlatan. We signed the contract and paid for several months service up front. We have dogs, so special instructions were included to ensure that we were home during the service. Hawx did not follow our instructions and let our dogs loose out of the back yard - a neighbor was kind enough to call me at work to retrieve my dogs. I called Hawx to discuss the situation and Hawx complained that we never left them instructions. When I asked why no one from Hawx called us about letting our dogs out, they said it was not their policy. We decided to cancel the service and asked for a refund. They refused to refund our upfront payment and said that we actually had a negative balance and owed them additional money.
We instructed Hawx to cancel the service and remove our name and personal information and to not step foot on our property (we have security cameras). They called us repeatedly promising better service and asking for additional money. Then over two years later they called again - claiming that we owed them over $500. Don't waste your time on this one, they will certainly put you through the ringer. This is my honest experience with Hawx. I would not recommend this company.

Signed up June 2023, received service that day but they never returned. They did bill me every month for the rest of the year. When I called for the service reports, they said they had not done the service, and would issue a full refund. They refunded 3 months worth within a few days. I waited another month but still no refund. Called again and found out they were no longer going to issue a refund. This company has no integrity. Stay away!

Techs in the field do the bare minimum and are unaware of home-specific requests that are made to customer service, even though the system is set up for such requests to be made to customer service. Do not use if you're in TEXAS. These guys get you coming and going with their contract and service when and if you can get someone out. If you're not at the house when they do the service you can not know it really happened. Cancel the contract and know you will not get a refund even if the service was never performed. I would recommend their service to everyone! They are the greatest. On his first visit, he went through our house & examined any areas that the rodents could be entering through. He set up traps and came the next day and retrieved them. He is very kind and courteous and so respectful.

The rep that got me to sign with the company assured me he would take care of my contract with my existing pest control. I found it a bit weird at first, because usually the account owner is the one who can cancel a contract, but that young man repeated 3 times that he will take care of my other contract that Hawx had that ability, for that reason I went ahead and signed up. I found out later that my other contract wasn't canceled and that I should be the one who needs to take care of it (silly me right). So called Hawx to have them cancel my contract with them, because I am not interested to do business with a company that lies from the start, and they are charging me a cancellation fee. Had not been for their employee who lied in first place I wouldn't have signed up. Another thing, I was never provided a copy of the contract agreement, not even given instructions on how to signed up for my account online.

This company charged me for service I did not approve, then sent me not one, but TWO documents that were FRAUDULENTLY signed with inaccurate information. As many have mentioned, their sales kid showed up at my door soliciting services - 1 service for $1.00 and then 2 additional services for $79.99. I said I needed to consider it and asked for a business card and he said “I am the business card”. I declined. Later, after speaking to my other half, we decided to move forward. I text my neighbor to get the kids number. I verbally agreed to what we discussed and provided my card over the phone.
On the second service, I explained that I grow food and asked about their products and the garden and pollinators. They said they couldn’t spray within 20 feet of my vegetable gardens which essentially eliminates my entire back yard. I decided to not continue services the following year at that point. Spring comes and I get a text that they will be servicing my yard. I replied that I did not wish to continue the service. Hours later, my card is charged $80 and I get a second text that the service is complete.
I called and was told I signed a 12 month agreement. I requested a copy and received a fraudulently signed contract with inaccurate information on it. After going round and round with their billing, they acknowledged the discrepancies and agreed to cancel the contract and investigate the fraud. They refused to return the $80 they charged me because “there was nothing they could do for the service that was completed”. Even though I requested they not and they did this without my consent.
I disputed the charge, and because they do not have any way to substantiate the fraudulent charge, the bank has reversed it. Now they tacked on a fee for the disputing the charge and have their collections department calling me 3 times a day and everyone I talk to is an idiot. They have now provided a second fraudulent document with an “x” that is supposedly my signature. I have filed a complaint with a Better Business Bureau and will continue to escalate if necessary.

My family has had Hawx for almost a year now and it has been nothing but issues. I've called and spoke with multiple people, supervisor etc and never get my issues fixed. I've asked for them to come out monthly (since I pay monthly for this service) and I've been told, "Yes. We'll come out monthly." They never do. Now I have ants at our windows and they haven't been out in 4 months. I shouldn't have to continue to call a business to make them do their jobs. I pay this company PLENTY of money to do nothing! I cannot wait till June and I can cancel. This company is not it.

A salesman came to my door offering services. They stated they were working on a neighbor's home. I did go outside and I did see their work truck and actual employees with tools. They stated they could work on my home today for $50 bucks if I signed a one-year contract for the same amount monthly to have services done. He said my home would be next after the neighbor. This was at noon. They never did come to service my home. I contacted the company and they tried to schedule services. However I decided to look them up and they have horrible reviews on Yelp, Consumer Affairs and the BBB. This is a huge scheme. Stay away. Do not do. Horrible company. They do not offer services at all and just charge you. They are full on committing fraud. Stay away. Beware!

I had been with them 3 years, eh service. Cancelled, under no contract, a bit ago they went to auto billing (didn’t give my credit card for auto billing), paid when an invoice was sent, I had paid 2 payments since my last Service in November when I cancelled in March. Talked to rep. Who acknowledge I cancelled but want me to pay an auto billed payment that was sent 2 days before I cancelled.
Mind you this is one of 3 payments that are in a cancelled account that will receive no services for the payments that have been paid. No contract, already paid 2 payments for a future service that will not be done. They insist I still need to pay that one more payment for a service that will not be done. Ludicrous, unethical, no reasoning with them, they hung up on me because I would not acquiesce to their need to bilk me of one more payment (no contract) for a service they will not perform. BBB next. Maybe even get my friend to sue simply for the fact that they are so unethical.

I was told by the salesman that I could cancel at any time. When I wanted to cancel they informed me that I was on a 12-month contract and that I would be charged an early termination fee. Service was average at best. Still had to do my own bug mitigation about a week after they did "service".

Don't! Do not sign up with Hawx Pest Control to be your pest control. I went there as there were great review online and they were slightly lower than the competition. So, I got a good deal but... The company should rethink what "pest control" means... Especially ants as pests. Every time they will perform a service the ants will be gone for 1-3 days and then... Invasion... Way more ants than before. Even after multiple treatments still the same result. So the time came for me to cancel the services. Well, that is where the catch came... Tried to cancel via the web, no success, via mobile browsers the same... So I had to call and ask them to cancel the services and close my account. Customer rep tried to "sell" me better deals instead of closing my account. Finally I got the customer rep to agree and close my account.
All was good until few months later I started getting notifications that I have payments due. I called them again and found out that my account is still "active". And, because the "agreement" was stating that they will be charging me monthly I ended up with a balance. Key note here: there was no service performed in the meantime, since I asked and was told that the account will be closed. So, I asked (again) for my account to be closed... Instead, got a sales pitch again "...we will give you the same contract for $39.99 instead of the current "49.99"...".
Declined it multiple times and repeated my request for the account to be closed. And then got the following response from the account manager (I was transferred to the "account management" as they are the only ones that can help with situation like this - I would rather call them "Sales"): "In order for us to be able to close your account you ill need to pay your outstanding balance." What????? What balance? You have been charging me after I asked and got confirmed on the phone that my account will be closed.
Long story short... It was pointless to argue with the "account manager (a.k.a. Salesman)" as they were simply not giving up. After very stressful couple of calls with them... I ended up paying and order to have my account with them closed. My advice, talking from my experience with Hawx Pest Control... Go somewhere else!!!

Terrible service. They give no advance notice of when they will be at your home and just expect you to be there. And when you are working and not at home they don't follow up to reschedule. I was told there were rats in the attic. After spending a large amount to remove them not one rat was trapped. I kept trying to schedule follow-ups and never got a response. After being frustrated with the lack of communication I asked to cancel my account. This was taken care of immediately and I was charged a $200 cancellation fee despite the fact that they did not finish the service.

I have called since October 2023 to cancel my services. I needed a better and more frequent service than they could provide. Every time I called I was told my service was cancelled. Then I would get a call for an inspection… I relay I cancelled. Called back still not cancelled. Charged me for December and no one even came to my house to treat anything. Now I’m getting a $248 bill for services I’ve been trying to cancel for months and no service for December but I’m being billed for December, and apparently a late fee or fee from a charge back I did after I was told that I would be refunded for November and December. But they lied to me and billed me anyways. This company doesn’t do right, and can not be trusted.

We had the displeasure of dealing with this company and their manipulative sales tactics. They will charge you money for their "service" but will not come out to provide that service you're paying for. They will charge you and continue to charge you while not making any good-faith attempts to contact you, but charging you for services that they never provide.
You will not be provided with any reason why they take your money without providing services. When you try to cancel, they will claim that they've put you into a contract that you didn't agree with, that they cannot provide, and that they did not meet even the vague terms of said contract that they may provide you with. When this doesn't work, they will assault your bank account numerous times a week, sometimes multiple times a day, taking small amounts like $6.24 or $14.37 here and there slowly chipping away at your finances until they get their money without any confirmation or permission from you to do so. If you're interacting with this company, pay out your contract to get out of it, then contact your bank immediately to issue a chargeback. The only thing a shady company like this will understand is bankruptcy.

Fraudulent and unscrupulous business that will NOT inform the customer they are under a contract, thereby taking YOUR money without your knowledge. Did not take notes or records of ending services after numerous attempts. Continues to harass you over late fees, THE DAY AFTER LOSING A FAMILY MEMBER TO CANCER. They are more vile and disgusting than the insects they are paid to take care of.

Signed up for service in June. Had a visit the next day. Everything was great. Was under the impression this would be a quarterly thing and that's what my $70 a month was paying for. I was also under the impression that I would have some sort of contact with people if anything ever needed attention. I have not seen, heard from or even known how to get in touch with anyone since. I do, however, see that automatic payment come out every month for a service I am not receiving. I called today to cancel and was told that I cannot because there have been several attempt to visit but the address was unreachable. Also that there were visits but there were dogs in the back yard. I pointed out that these statements contradict each other, but either way, why didn't anyone contact me with the concerns?
My assumption is, notes are being place on an account to CYA regardless of factual validity. I have food delivery that has no problem arriving at my address. I do not keep dogs in the back yard. $350 spent for nothing. I kept up my end of the contract, but the fact that service was not provided, and there has been no due diligence to provide service, this contract should be void.
When you take money for providing a service, you should be taking every measure you possible can to provide that service. Otherwise, you are just taking money. I have received an auto debit notification of $27.06 and another for $54.12 in the past 2 days. When I called to ask about it, I was told that this was charged because I disputed the previous charges. Essentially, I was charged a monetary punishment for disputing a charge for services not received.

I hired them for their 7-day / 3-week treatment plan. I was very dissatisfied and canceled after the initial treatment at which point they charged me an early termination fee of $300. I paid them the $300 I owed them and they continue to badger me for more money.

We completed a new build. Our lender required a termite inspection. I contacted this company to provide the inspection and also added pest control services. I explained on the phone several times that I NEEDED a termite inspection and we can do the pest control later. One guy shows up Thurs. (10.26.23) morning, to do the pest control, but no one for the termite inspection. I explained to the gentleman that we needed the inspection in order to close on our house the next day. (10.27.23) He reached out to his manager and I was told someone would call me Friday morning.
By Friday afternoon, I hear nothing, I reach out and was told that no one was available until the following week, that the man who was supposed to do the inspection took off that day. NO phone call. We were forced to delay our closing 3 days, over the weekend. Which incurred additional interest with our bank. I found another company that could come out Monday morning (10.30.23)at 9am. I received a call, later Monday morning and was told that someone from Hawx could come out later that afternoon, which was too late. We had scheduled our closing for that afternoon and they needed the paperwork ASAP. Just now, someone from Hawx came out to spray, never received a phone call to tell me. They just showed up.
The communication from this company is HORRIBLE. My husband and I work from home and can't have people just showing up, expecting to come inside and treat for pests. I contacted Hawx and explained that due to their non communication for the individual NOT showing up to do my termite inspection, I incurred $$$ in additional fees and that they yet again, did not communicate someone was coming out to spray. I feel that they did not provide the service I signed up for and the lack of communication was reason to cancel my service. I have been with them for only 3 weeks and now they want to charge me $199.00 to cancel my service. I don't feel I should have to pay that, since they failed to provide the service I wanted and I incurred additional fees. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the individual said there was no one I could speak to. So beware about signing a contract with Hawx Pest Control.

Was good at first, even tho I thought it rather expensive, but they had a good sign-up deal so I thought I would try it out. After the 2nd treatment I had a very healthy tree die within a week. I didn't think much about it being related to the treatment, so I did nothing. On the 4th treatment however everything changed. First, they completely missed my appointment by 2 months. When I called them on it they didn't apologize or offer proration on my monthly bill and when they did come out to treat the lawn, I had a 2nd tree die after just a week. I called them on this and they denied it was their fault.
I wrote them an email to cancel my service and they instead started to charge me late fees for non-payment. When I called to resolve this they charged me an extra month to cancel the account despite the fact that I already completed my 1 year service agreement. I received nothing for the dead trees (not even an apology) or the 2 months of bills and late fees I got from them after cancelling the account. If you want to throw money away this is the company to do it with.

Had agent cold call at house to do pest control. Agent said it would be a 1 yr contract $75 every 3 months with service every 3 months. Then the bills start coming every month with auto cc deduct. The 2nd service call never met and the pictures of the service were of the end of a grain spreader and showed nothing of my property unlike all the pictures of service in the Hawx website. I placed a call to a return visit & requested a face to face that never happened. The same agent came back and took a picture of my house and never re-treated my property. I have security cameras and not a single camera caught anyone at that time on my property.
Another call and this time the agent came to the door and I showed him the pictures of the end of a spreader and showed not a single grain or fluid on my property. He said would talk to supervisor but never heard anything back. Called 2 more times. Got a supervisor and she acknowledged that pictures were not sufficient. Said she’d call the Indianapolis supervisor but nothing came from that. This is nothing but an illegal scam to charge and never do a treatment. They have an $200 early cancel fee. So will have to go to small claims to file lawsuit. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Instead of earning your business, these guys prefer to lock you in with a horrible contract! I had a $55 balance when I cancelled and Hawx refused to return this money. Instead they charged me a $200 fee to cancel. I still took the $255 hit to be done with this company! For my first 2 appointments with this company nobody ever showed up. The first time I had to spend 20+ minutes calling to reschedule, and then schedule another day at home since I needed to be here for the service. The 2nd time I just tried canceling. Instead of refunding me what I already paid (plus my additional balance), they wanted to charge an additional $199 to cancel. So I had them come do one final service so I could at least get that completed and then cancelled immediately after.

I wasn't going to leave a review at all, but Hawx Pest Control has been billing my wife and I for 3 months after my wife had cancelled services. After speaking with the customer service people today it turns out that my wife and I "owe" $290 something. My wife was willing to pay $160 for reasons unbeknownst to me, unfortunately this wasn't going to cut it for Hawx. I believe a threat to collections was made, forcing my wife's hand to go ahead and pay the full amount in order to avoid getting our credit dinged.
It started off great though, our first tech was amazing! Very knowledgeable and willing to help with/explain any questions or concerns we might've had. That part was great, however, the products used weren't of the highest caliber. In fact, we had to call back for service at least 3 times within the first month, and for whatever reason they wouldn't come out until the 3rd call back (3 calls were made on different days and week/s). When we finally got our respray the first month, it was not the same tech. In fact, the last 2 or 3 techs sent out were very lackluster in comparison to our first impression of this company that was with the first tech (that man deserves a raise!).
Every tech since has been noticeably lazier, lacking in knowledge, and overall, just a terrible look for the company and a bad experience for us, the consumer. Ya know what, I just remembered that my wife and I moved to a new house about 3 months ago and not once has a Hawx tech stepped foot in our new home. Why were they billing us still? Why does Hawx Pest Control feel they deserve 3 months of money for services that were never rendered?? Be nice if I could leave a 0 star rating.

They've come out once. It was easy and done quickly. I made the schedule with the salesperson who came to the house. We set it up. Then he told me when it would be. The technician called to verify and let me know what time he would be there. The service was fine. The tech did the job. He let me know what he was gonna do. After he was finished, he let me know he was done. Everything went as scheduled. Now, it's better. We haven't seen the little spiders we were seeing. I haven't seen the ants, either. But we haven't had much rain. So, they come and go with the rain. Hawx provided good service. They were very friendly and professional. Glad to have them working at my house.

Hired Hawx to treat ants in our yard. The ants got worse instead of better. No one explained that we would be billed a monthly (they call it warranty fee) for unlimited services. It was our understanding that it was just a quarterly service and we paid for each service when they provided it. When we finally called to cancel service (3) months later, they charged us an additional $199 for an early cancellation fee. In total we paid $476.96 for one service call! If someone approaches you about their pest control service....RUN! They claim the monthly fee gives you unlimited treatments for any problems that may occur. My response, if they did it right the first time you shouldn't have to have them come back every month.

I cancelled my subscription with Hawx. They're terrible. The agreement was they were supposed to come every month to spray the home. I have dogs, so they use the nontoxic spray. But they sprayed the home and we had more bugs that I'd ever seen. I went ahead and called them. I wanted to do another treatment to see if it would help, but I waited a month. Instead I kept getting text messages telling me the payment was due. I called the company and said, "You were supposed to come this month but I never heard back." They said, "We come every three months unless requested by the customer." It wasn't just the first guy that came to my home that told me it was supposed to be every month. The technician that came out and sprayed the home also told me that it was supposed to be once a month. He further went to say, "If you request another warranty service, we'll come out free of charge every two weeks and spray your home down."

Hawx beats everyone else's prices and they have been fantastic so far. We had to reschedule a couple times because of conflicting schedules, and they were extremely communicative between both of those. I was at work at the time the tech came but he took multiple photographs that showed what he was doing. In regards to the immediate afterwards, I've noticed much less ants in my house. He also pointed out multiple things that I didn't even know I had including little spider eggs. Unfortunately, I do not believe he's been able to do the interior check with me because I've been at work whenever we've been trying to set it up. Longevity-wise, it seems to be where it kind of drops off. Around two months has gone by since the last service and the sugar ants have started again.

Hawx Pest Control has great customer service. When I texted the rep, he had the techs contact me, and they came out the very next day and did everything I needed them to do. They did great service for me. I told them what I was seeing out there and they got rid of the pests. They sprayed everything. They even went above and beyond and did inside and out for me. When they came, somebody was already cutting the yard and they sprayed for the bugs out there.

Hawx came with their initial sprays and the service is supposed to be once a quarter. So, they'll come again in about another month. There was no problem with scheduling the service. The gentleman that came out was very knowledgeable and helpful. He told me that if I needed any additional work, like if I still see critters crawling around, to call in. I called them because we had ants in one spot of the house. So, they came out and the guy didn't spray. He put some ant food in some areas but I don't think is working and we're gonna call him again because I still see ants in the kitchen. But I'm glad I made the switch and I'm looking forward to a long and helpful relationship with Hawx.

I signed up with Hawx and it was very informative. For my first service, the tech was good and very thorough. Hawx comes usually when I'm not at home. They said if I ever need any service, I just have to call. I don't see any bugs. The pest activity has been very low, if any at all. So far, things are good, price is good, so I'm satisfied.

My most recent experience with Hawx was nice. We had some ant piles in our front yard and some roaches in the kitchen. Scheduling service was easy and quick. I like stuff that are like that. The interaction with customer service was professional. The hold time was a little more than normal and I was on hold for a while to get an agent. Once I got the agent, she was very efficient.
A new person came and serviced me this time. He was professional, quick, and efficient. He came on time. I work from home so he made sure he was quiet and in and out. He gave me all the information I needed about what he used. I haven't seen any roaches which is great or any other insects since he serviced the house. So far, Hawx came out to service me twice. My experience has been good and professional. It makes me want to continue to do business with them even if the prices are a little steep for me. Customer service makes up for it.

There was an agent who went knocking on our doors and telling us about the promotion that Hawx was giving. I was already with a different pest control company but I liked the promotion better and the way the agent was able to explain the different chemicals they're using that you don't need to vacate the premises while they do it. They were saying it's pet and kid-safe. So, I opted to try their services. And so far, so good.
We had the German roach, ants and spiders for the outside of the house. Scheduling a service has its hiccups. We already agreed on a specific date and then they were gonna move me to a different date. When I was looking at the reviews online, they said that Hawx is notorious for changing the dates of the spray. They changed it one time but, in the end, I had to change it. The guy was there at home but I was still asleep and when I woke up, he already left. And then, he was scheduled to come back but we were already gone. At that point, we said we were just gonna reschedule because we were in the process of clearing out the garage and we wanted the garage to be treated again at the same time. We didn’t want the technician to come back at a different time for the garage. So it's just in one go.
The agreement was we were gonna be sprayed every month for the maintenance so I just canceled the September spray because we're almost finished fixing the garage. And probably by October, we will be able to have them come in and spray the entire house, including the garage and some inside if we can. Because we're seeing a few of those roaches again. We know they're persistent. I haven't called Hawx directly because the agent told me to text him and he's gonna schedule, and he did. But he needed to move the following week instead of the week that I was supposed to. I'm fine with it as long as it's within the month. I'm hoping that it's gonna get better than the previous experience.
Dealing with the service techs was good. The very first time, there was a hornet's nest on the edge of the roof so they sprayed that one time and then, they came back a couple of hours later because they just wanted to see. They sprayed it the second time. They wanted to make sure that they had taken care of it. Since our last service, I haven't seen any activities outside except for occasional spiders. Inside, here and there, we'll see cockroaches. So I wanted to have them come in and treat it the second time around. I’ve had a great experience with Hawx. They're living up to what they sent out to do. I'm happy with the experience that I have.

We were trying to cancel our contract with Hawx. At the beginning of the month, we got a bill for $50 per service. We signed up with a contract where it's supposed to be $50 every three months. Now they changed it to where it's $50 every month. Then I called to cancel. They said that they had somebody call me back. Then I texted them, but nobody's called me back yet.
When they came out, it was okay. It was very quick. But they didn't do a very good thorough job. They had to come back out again two weeks later. But they did a better job. Now, we still have ants, but I don't even wanna have them come back out. I want them to stop billing us and just start doing it ourselves. It's not worth $50 a month.

The technicians listed that they sprayed the backyard each visit but they did not. The front yard still had the bug issues it had before hiring them. When discussing the issue they said they will believe their technicians over the customer (Understandable to a degree.). Instead of canceling, the sales rep told me the branch manager would either show up to spray the backyard or have someone else specifically come out and do it. Instead of that happening, no one contacted me, no one showed up, and they emailed me a cancellation finalization about a week later. Early cancelation fee is also $199.99. Bad service, bad communication and ineffective.

WARNING! Hawx Pest Control is a scam! I was called by one of the "Salesman" from the North Houston Location (1408 N Sam Houston Pkwy E Suite 180, Houston, TX 77032) to ask if I would like a treatment. I was out of town in Dallas (I live in Houston) in training and I approved the treatment at $71.00. The agreement was for 4 treatments per year at $71.00. Well, 9-5 I got a receipt that I was charged an additional $71.00 for a "Membership". I was also told that I signed a contract for service and there would be a $200.00 early termination fee. Which of course was impossible as I was 300 miles north of Houston. The young lady I talked to said the contract had a dash in the signature box (well I guess the sales guy did that) and she was going to have the manager look at it and she would get back to me. Needless to say, I never got a callback.
Today 9-6, I called back to check on the status, "She's in a meeting and will call you back." (I'll update you with the results, but I'm betting I'm going to dispute this with the credit card company.) Bottom line, I was never told about a subscription/membership fee or any discussion on a contract. If they are charging $71.00 a month for 4 times a year spraying that comes out to $284.00 per application. Not to mention an "Early termination fee". Does this sound reasonable? Not to me. If I was told any of this I would have hung up the phone. POTENTIAL BUYERS BEWARE! Follow up: The management decided that a dashed line on the contract made it valid. I have included the contract to show everyone that I NEVER signed it. I have also included the charges.

After I completed a full year contract I decided to cancel so before the next month where we would be on a month to month basis I canceled my service with them. Well later that day I got a email saying they charged me for a service they never did. I call customer service and they could not give me a logical reason for the charge and refused to refund me for a service I never received. The only reason he gave me was “That’s just how pest control works“

I had a horrible experience trying to terminate my contract. Hawx Pest Control have the common practice of make it impossible to customer to cancel or terminate the contract service. They make you wait hours in the phone, and I mean literally HOURS to then tell you that they can't cancel the service, only a never available account specialist is able to terminate the service contract. They promise to call you back in 48 hours which never happens mean while they keep charging you every month even when they are not providing the service. I am being trying to terminate my contract service since July and today is September, and I'm still unable to cancel. I passed thru the process I described above several times already and still unable to cancel. That's why I'm sure it is a common practice of Hawx Pest Control to keep customer's hostage and unable to cancel to keep charging money every month, without providing the service. AVOID HAWX PEST CONTROL.

I had some problems with ants and when the Hawx rep explained the plan that they have, I gave it a go. Tech who came out for the first treatment was 100% suited for the job that he has done. I've dealt with a lot of other people and some people are just not needed for the type of job they're doing. But this particular guy, I could tell he was totally into his work. I was satisfied with the service and I'm going to call him in a couple of weeks to get a repeat for the initial thing.

High pressure, predatory, confusing marketing. Price is PER MONTH not treatment. Cancellation incurs a “fool’s tax” of $200. Next day treatment is NOT available. Service people lose service request, 1week-10days service (already multiple stings, poisoned the bugs myself, service of no value).

I was getting an infestation of black widows along the perimeter of my home. I had a great experience with the techs. They did what they said they would do and explained what to expect from the process. I appreciated that. They also shared information on the product they sprayed and that it was supposed to be not harmful to pets or children. I haven't had any problems after their service. I've already recommended Hawx to friends who are having pest issues.

The Hawx sales rep who came, Wesley, was really cool. He seems very professional. We signed up. He pretty much sold us on it. The only thing is we had Dewey Pest Control, and he said that he was gonna cancel for us. Then Dewey ended up coming. Thank God, they didn't service our home, so they didn't charge us. I wasn't home and Dewey called me. So, I was trying to contact Wesley. But before I was contacting him, I was calling Hawx because I knew that he hadn't cancelled anything. I just called Dewey and then I did it. So, he didn't do what he said he was gonna do until I asked him and told him.
I really was pleased with the technician. David was amazing. He came and he sent me pictures. He was so thorough about it. Dewey was not that way. I let Dewey know the day that I cancelled that they're not thorough. I let David know that I see silverfish by the trash can. Then the water bugs are coming into the garage, and then they come into the home. We have a three-month-old baby. I noticed that there's always one big one in her room every now and then. He explained something about the cracks. I didn't even know that that's what a technician is supposed to do. So, everything he was explaining was so new to me. He was super knowledgeable. He knew why certain bugs come around.
I didn't even know that we had wasp nests, and they were right on our backyard gate. So when he opened it, a huge one was right there, and then around the house, and then we had ant colony. Ever since then, nothing has been around. A couple of wasp were trying to look for their nest but because they're gone, they left. The ants aren't there in the backyard. The water bugs are still dying. I saw one today in the garage, but it's just one. I still see the silverfish by our trash can. I clean there every day. For some reason, I just can't get rid of them. Overall, Hawx has been great. Their technicians are thorough with their job. Also, the customer service guys are so nice.

The Hawx tech did everything he said he was gonna do and did a great job. He sprayed some ant hills that the previous company didn't do. It was a really good thing. He told me that he dusted off the house, and then sprayed, and explained exactly what he was doing. I would recommend Hawx.

A Hawx Pest Control representative came to the house, went over the pricing and the discount they had. We've had a bunch of ants and different things. He said they could take care of those and spiders with their service. We decided to go ahead and do it. Later that same day, they had a couple of guys come and spray the house and take care of it. We did a walk-around. There was what looked like an old wasp nest. The tech even saw some locations where nest had been. So, they identified those areas to spray. We had one active nest that was up high. They used a long pole, knocked it down and sprayed that upper eve area to prevent them from coming back.
They did the whole perimeter of the house and around the area where the trash cans are. I pointed out the ant area, and they sprayed all that. They said it would be a few days and we would start seeing some of the bugs leaving the house and dying around the house. We have seen that, and it seems to be working. And we haven't seen the ants. So, it looks good.

The guy from Hawx who came here was very good at what he did and explained his products well. He was interesting to talk to and very friendly. He told me exactly what he was doing and showed me all the pictures that he took. I’ve seen a little bit of bugs around the outside but everything’s fine.

Hawx came by the house. We didn't have anybody lined up and I thought it was a good idea to go ahead and get it done. They done service once and they said they'd come every three months. They did the entire yard outside the house and inside. Everything looks to be good so far. I'd recommend Hawx.

Hawx was very understanding in trying to schedule a good time to do the spray for the pests, and they enlightened me about how important it is. The technician was very nice and polite. He explained a lot of things to me and I asked a lot of questions that I need to know. Ants were my problem, and I showed them where they can come through. He said that once he would spray, it might get a high volume of bugs coming in, but he would get rid of them. It was an awesome experience and I was satisfied. I would tell others to try Hawx.

The service is very easy, quick and thorough. They got all the spider webs out from the roof line and got in ant holes with the spray. The tech knew what he was doing. He set up a perimeter and moved on to the house. Get them to do your house because they do a great job.

I requested the company to do a spraying of our house because of mosquitoes and bugs. They came a couple of weeks ago. They're coming back again in a couple oof weeks as part of the treatment to keep the bugs down low. The tech did the assessment of my property and explained to me that I wasn't the only on our block that had the same complaints. It was just because it's mosquito season. He also pointed out that there were ants and some other bugs that come out during the summer. Those were on the edges of the house. He also talked about the chemicals they use to spray and gave really perfect instructions. He also said that once they spray the backyard, I shouldn't let my dog out there for a minimum of 30 minutes because it might be irritating to the dog. It was really nice that they said that 'cause I would have just let my dog stay out there.

The technician was hesitant to come and spray inside but he came back later to do it. I mentioned that we had a dog. He said, “It's fine for them but to be safe, to be not in the house for 10 minutes and to let it dry." He was very nice and informative.

Hawx Pest Control focuses on our kitchen, bathroom, and our room, and so far, they've been wonderful. The pest activity in our property is slowly dying away. The last time they came out, my wife and I weren't home and the tech missed one spot with the bathroom. We let them know and they're supposed to come back out and take care of it for us. The time before that, the gentleman came out and did everything we asked him. He showed us what he was using and told us it's kid-friendly and safe for our animals. He then came in and sprayed the areas, what we requested and some other areas.

I like the gentleman who came to my house to explain everything. He was very professional and friendly. But I still see ants and roaches that come from the outside. He said it's gonna take a couple of weeks, so I'm waiting two weeks to follow up again. So far, it's good. I like their customer service too.

I had a pest control company that we were utilizing, but we were still seeing a lot of activity in our home. We felt like they weren't being as thorough as we would have liked them to be. Then the Hawx salesman came by the house for Hawx. We were talking to him and showed him the house and telling him our issues. Even though it was a little bit more expensive, we thought we could switch and see how they worked out. We met one Hawx technician and she was fantastic. She was very thorough. I noticed that she took pictures as she was working to show that she was doing what she was doing and that was in the report. She would also call me throughout the house and she would point out stuff and explain why it was happening.

The sales rep of Hawx was very good. The guy that came and applied the services was also very good. He missed a couple of spots as far as spiderwebs and a wasp's nest here or there. But he sprayed all the back outside. He was very informative. As far as spraying wise and services, he was the best. I have seen some dead insects, which is good. Their service is working for me so far.

We had Hawx pest control for a year. At the end of the year contract we tried to cancel our service because it was getting too expensive. We tried for three months to cancel our without success. Each month we were charged for services we never got. We called back again and the customer service person said they could cancel our account but not get our money back. It’s upsetting because we never got any service and were promised our account would be canceled and never was! Awful!!!!

I don't usually do this, but I do want to warn people about Hawx Pest Control - I am a very unhappy customer. This company is aggressive in getting customers. I received so many texts and phone calls from them as I did a Google search on how to get rid of the yellow jackets in my yard. I really wanted a professional company to get rid of them. I ended up signing with Hawx for a $50 monthly fee for a year. This in and of itself wasn't a bad thing. But, two weeks later, they called saying to schedule my yearly termite inspection "for free." So I said okay. When the guy came out, he found termites and quoted me a couple thousand dollars for treatment. I asked for 24 hours to think on it - and it's my fault I let him push me into signing up for treatment then and there. Supposedly they gave me a discount.
But, he didn't tell me that they would open a 2nd account and that there would be an additionally monthly service charge of $25 on top of the $2200 treatment and the $50 from the first account. When I called to work this out, I had to call 3 times and was on hold for an hour each time to talk with a accounts person. I'm told that there's nothing they can do. I can cancel my contracts, but at an additional expense. And they'll come remove the termite treatment even though it's paid for. Don't work with this company. There are better companies out there and pest control doesn't have to be this expensive. I'm now exploring DIY pest control options for the future.

I live in a new community and a salesperson from Hawx Pest Control stopped by the house. I wasn't there, but my brother was. I spoke with the salesperson over the phone and told him I wasn't home. He went around the neighborhood and finished talking to the other residents, and by the time I got home, he came back and explained everything to me. He was very knowledgeable. He knew what he had to offer, was very proud about his company and knew that he could do a better job. I liked what Hawx offered. The salesperson matched what Terminix did for me when I was in Orlando and offered a couple of other things extra. The cost was $10 cheaper than what I was paying too.
For the initial setup, Hawx did their first treatment and the tech that came out didn't rush. I was home this time, and I watched him do a very thorough job. When he came inside the home, he explained everything and some of the areas that he suggested I get looked at. I was really pleased. I haven't had them come back yet, but they'll come out every quarter because that's what I was doing with Terminix. Also, if I needed anything, they would come back and service me.

Had a great first experience with the service provided. The service tech was knowledgable, detail oriented, friendly, communication was clear, a good person and cared about my concerns. I appreciated how he cared for our dogs and wanting them to be safe while treatment of the house. The contract was easy to set up and get the service I needed quickly. Look forward to our relationship moving forward as well as a bug free home. Yes, I would recommend Hawx to a friend and/or family member.

Still waiting for a response to multiple requests for a re-service to get rid of ants in our garage. We had the original service done a few weeks ago, but I reported the return of ants and cannot get a response from the scheduling department. After three calls and being put on hold for 35, 25 and 40 minute’s respectively, I never have had my calls answered.

When I signed up for the program, one of the co-owners was very professional. I was impressed with the guy and I felt that if the service was similar to what I was already receiving at a lower price, why not make the change? That was what I did. I like how it was presented and it's gonna save me about 20 bucks a quarter. When the Hawx tech came the next day to service my yard, he was incredibly polite. I had a few questions, and he didn't treat me like I was dumb. He respected me and answered my questions. He texted me when he was done so I knew. I was impressed with the guy.
There was a red ant hill in my yard near my back porch stairs. He went inside my porch. When I saw him doing that, I went and unlocked the door so he could access my other porch. I said, "Thank you for doing that. That's not something that I've ever had done before." They'll be coming once a quarter. They said that if I have some issues, I could call and they would send someone out to take care of whatever it is. I am happy with their service.
