    I've been through four different infestations and I know when there's something there. But my apartment management refused to treat the problem since nothing was visible. Since I'm using my own money, I'm making sure I'm getting treated, and I went with Hawx. I appreciated that they were willing to treat it whether it's wasting my money or their guys' time. My experience with Hawx is breaking my scale at 1,000 stars. But I’ll go with 5. The customer service is the same thing. But more at 2,000 stars because of all the discounts I was given with all the money I shelled out prior to reaching out to Hawx. I was treated really well. Also, the price is fair. But I no longer need the service because I’m moving.

      Hawx is the only pest control company we've used since we've been in a home for the past five years now. When they were going door-to-door, soliciting customers, we started out with a one-year contract. At first, we were paying a certain amount of money, and it got to be too expensive for us, then they were able to negotiate. There are lots of companies out there and when they get big, their pricing is off the charts. I don't want to pay a lot of money to look for mosquitoes and spiders or keep the ants down.

      As for the service, if I call them to come out, they'll come. However, one thing I want them to change is, they'll text me the day before, and they say, "Okay. We're coming out." I'd like to know the time frame. Is it gonna be in the morning? Let me know 30 minutes to an hour before. If I'm running an errand or someone's gone, then I'd hate to miss the visit if I need to talk to the tech. We got the texting, but the company should be a little more transparent or available, in terms of being able to communicate before they come. The same person comes out about two times in a row, and then it changes up. There's not a lot of turnover and that tells me there’s stability to a certain degree. Also, I know that by him coming out, he's been with the company.

      The company changed hands under some owners and a gentleman that was once employed by them said that the techs were inexperienced and not properly trained. I said, "Okay." I was specifically asking for him, because this gentleman was from Florida or Alabama, but he worked in this industry for a while. Hawx is hiring these kids, and they just give them a truck. They go out there, lollygagging, half-ass doing the job and I said, "That's not good service there," but I've been keeping an eye on the jobs that have been done. Recently, a guy came out, treated my yard and brushed down cobwebs. So far, so good. I asked to know about the mosquito treatment he was gonna do that day and he said, "No. That's gonna be someone else coming out." Other than that, everything is fine.

      We really like to keep the cobwebs brushed down. We don't want the spiders in the house and we haven't seen any instance where there are gnats flying around in the sink. However, a lot of that could be just vinegar and water or pouring bleach down there. The main thing is I don't want to have spiders, poison spiders, ticks, or mosquitoes, especially where I'm located.

      Run, take a ** and go to sleep, whatever you do, do NOT use this service. They solicited at my door and as it happened, I was pretty sure I had a mouse problem so I agreed to use the service. I found out later that they videotaped this interaction without my permission. I am a soon to be retired nurse and live alone, therefore looking back, they must have seen vulnerability written all over my face. The young man that came out for the inspection tops any Hollywood actor and should win an academy award.

      After going around my home he said in a pre-rehearsed way "is there someplace where we can go to talk". Then he proceeded to provide what amounted to a stage 4 terminal cancer diagnosis, with all the drama he could muster. He showed me a picture of one dead mouse from my attic and said if I didn't pay for this, that and the other, I would basically have hell to pay in the form of more dead mice. AND, AND, he left the mouse up there! That picture could have come from a stock he had, who knows. After telling me my world would come crashing down in the form of dead mice, he even proceeded to not bring me the proof!!

      I called the next day and said I did not want to use their service and since I have been harassed with endless calls and text messages telling me I owe them $200 for NOT using their service. They definitely tried to take advantage of me and I saw right through it, and now am not allowed a moment's peace!

      Hawx can help with the bugs but the spiders don’t stay gone. Another issue is they don’t always show up when they say and refuse to cancel contracts. They have no early termination to contracts even if you have a change in finances. They don’t care about their customers at all. The billing people talk over you and are rude. The company just wants your money. Really sucks to have been scammed by them over canceling and them saying it never happened. So disappointed in the service too!

      Biggest scam company. Work was horrible/ineffective and they were unwilling to make it better. I called to cancel and was told it would be $199 only to find out it was actually $398. Total scam. No need for the canned BS response of emailing AI rep **. You are no help whatsoever.

      DID NOT COMPLETE SERVICES, I HAVE MULTIPLE CAMERAS ON MY PROPERTY, no one showed up. I had more insects AFTER their visit than in the 15 years in my house. I called and complained. I was assured someone would come out and complete the service 3Xs. 3Xs I had to take a day off work. 3Xs NO ONE SHOWED UP. I called, they do not refund money paid for services NOT completed. Last time I checked if you give money for services and that service isn't completed that's theft.

      Deceptive from the Start. The guy walking around our neighborhood was cordial and talkative. I told him I was interested and said I wanted some information and he said that he would have to have my card number before he could give me any hard-copy, pamphlet of any kind and was very insistent about it. I told him I wanted it before I would consider anything. He left and continued he sales adventure.

      About 45 minutes later, my wife came back in the house after treating the pool and asked why I had given the salesman my credit card number. I told I had not. She then informed me that he came back, told her in a short conversation, that I had indeed given my card information to him and he wanted to send some information to my phone... that is all it took. I went out front with both of our, 90 lb lap dogs, to confront the dishonest (person) but he was already gone. Good for him and good for us. They showed their dishonest selves, just by the smell of a credit card. If he ever comes back, he needs to stay off the property.

      Hawx pest control came out and made all of these promises that they could come out and service our home on the same day or next day if we found pests of any kind in or around our home. We made a payment for the first service on April 27th. 2026 and then made another payment on May 27th for the next set service date on May 27th, 2026. The second payment on May 27th covered the next quarterly service date, and we were supposed to be covered for the first 3 months with the first payment.

      Come June 19th and Before that time we started to see all kind of bugs throughout our house and on June 19th I called Hawx to come out with the guarantee of one or two days they would be able to service the house. It's even on their website stating one or two days, but they stated they could not be out for 11 days which is June 30th. Why should anyone have to live with Ants, Roaches, Potato bugs and wasps for 11 additional days when they are paying for a service that is supposed to be covered and fixed within 1-2 days. I would not recommend Hawx services to anyone. Mr. **

      Terrible service. If you want to cancel, they charge you $199 cancellation fee. They charged my account and never came out. I told them to apply the charge to my cancellation fee since they never came out. DO NOT TRUST OR GO WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY BARELY SPRAYED the inside of my house,

      Horrible company. They do not do what they say they are gonna do. They did not even go in my backyard to spray for mosquitoes and lied, saying no one was home. I watched them leave and tried to wave them down, then called to tell them, and could not find anyone locally. The salesmen lied, saying they were a local company when I asked. I have talked to several different people, and all of them are out of state or possibly the country. They are trying to tell me I cannot cancel, yet they are charging $100 a month to get out of the vehicle and spray a couple of sprays in the front yard, and get in their car and leave when I have a huge back yard. I am going to sue them if they charge my card again. They are not doing what we agreed on. They were to spray for mosquitoes with the back bringing the main focus. 3 people were home when they tried to say we were not, and no one knocked on the door to try to get into the backyard.

      We were told the products they use are "natural" and "safe"...found out they use toxic insecticides that are NOT natural or safe. Labels give warning like: "Harmful if absorbed through skin. Avoid breathing spray mist or vapor. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling, and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic skin reactions in some individuals."

      "Causes moderate eye irritation. Harmful if absorbed through skin, swallowed, or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Avoid breathing vapor or spray mist." If we had knows they were going to be spraying toxic chemicals on our lawn we wouldn't have signed up with them. Talked to a customer service person...they don't care that they gave us misinformation or that the toxins are bothering us. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

      1st treatment was great. Second time, they did not do the whole yard but managed to pesticide my whole garden. Kids don't know what they are doing. Promised a refund. Still nothing. Refused to waive the cancellation as well. Customer service was not a pleasant experience, nor did they call back. Save your money and do it yourself with stuff from Walmart!

      I would give them a zero if I could. Salesman knocked on my door and told me they had a $99 special for initial service. We talked about roaches, spiders, mosquitoes and termites. I was told the contact was for 1 year and would be $55 per month. Few days after signing the contract, a salesman showed up to do a termite inspection. He spent 10 minutes in my yard. Never entered my home, garage or crawlspace. He shows me pictures of what might have been termite damage to a few trees in the woods behind my home.

      He told me he was sure I had termites in my home since they were in the trees. He spent 20 minutes trying to talk me into another contract for an additional $55 per month. A week after that, a salesman tried to sell me mosquito control for $55 per month. I signed the contract on May 6th 2024. Every few months, a service rep would spot-spray around my foundation and clear spider webs from my front porch. Last service was in March of 2025.

      I did not notice any significant reduction in pest sightings in my home. I ended up using retail home-use controls to keep roaches and ants out of my home. In May of 2025, I realized that I had fulfilled my contract. I tried calling a few times to cancel, but kept getting put on hold. Frustrated, I turned off my credit card. On June 3rd, day 393 of my 1-year contract, a rep called to get my payment for June. I informed him that I wanted to cancel and that I did not owe for June since the 6th was my due date.

      It's been almost a year since I cancel my service, and I continue to get phone calls multiple times per day, Monday-Friday. I blocked their legitimate phone numbers, so now they generate random numbers to bypass my blocks. Calls start at 7:30 am and continue until 7:30 pm daily. I started hitting the record button when they call and they just hung up.

      This is the worst service in the world that I have ever received!!! How they handle appointments and do service is a SCAM as they do not complete the service and will send pictures of the yard and bill you before they drive off even when they cannot get to the entire property. The customer service is HORRIBLE repetitively! They make the same mistakes over and over and over and over. They do not even deserve a 1 star. I have had this service for 11 miserable months and cannot wait until my contract expires because you will pay dearly to cancel. The salesman lied about the services and what they do compared to what they promised. Please be advise that this is NOT the company to do any "credible" business with.

      I've been with Hawx for about a week or two, and the first time someone came here, he didn't come inside. He just came and left. I watched him while he did it, but he didn't do anything on the backyard or the front yard. He didn't spray for fleas and ticks. While they just started, I don't know if I would recommend them or not right now.

      Customer service is willfully inadequate when it is time to cancel your continued service. It does get charged again needlessly. Trying to get a refund for an erroneous charge is near impossible. It is necessary to get the bank involved to process a dispute of charges. They overcharge for their service and are inflexible until you're ready to cancel your service when they offer you huge discounted rates. When they know they're about to lose you, that is when they are negotiable. Don't waste your time here. There are a lot of others that are negotiable. Several times I had to call for maintenance visits because of clear and present evidence of requests submitted to the office that were not completed at the property in service.

      We had ant problem, and we were planning on getting pest control. A rep from Hawx was walking around the neighborhood, and started talking about that. We signed up and we have them treat just the outside. Every year, we get a significant amount of ants, and they're about to come. So, next week, when it starts raining, they'll be coming. So, I will know by next week whether the treatment works or not.

      The sales guy from Hawx seemed really nice, and he wasn't pushy. Signing up was straightforward, too. The only thing that might be a little questionable is the charges. He was like it's so much in the beginning, then it's charged monthly, but they’d come out every three months. So, it made it seem like it was going to be $75 every three months. Then they did show the payment schedule, so he wasn't lying. Maybe I just misinterpreted it.

      The cleaning guy was not so great. He looks kind of sketchy, he wasn't that friendly, and he didn't really explain. I don’t know if he was doing that good of a job or not. Just from glancing and looking, it's not like he seemed like he was working well. I really was so busy and I wasn't really watching him that well, but I wasn't getting good vibes from him.

      I had an active termite situation. Hawx has been treating my entire property for about two years, but they just did the termites. I have not seen a termite since unless they're dead.       I had Hawx in the past. I just went back to them last week. I had a good experience with them previously, and that was why I went back to them. They have great customer service. I had one person on Friday. Serenity was her name and she was great. Then, the following Monday, I had Connor, who explained everything else in detail.       I had some issues with spiders so when a Hawx representative came knocking to my house offering the service, I decided to sign up. The price was fine, too. Scheduling the service was easy. Two people came into my house recently. The first guy was in a rush, so I didn't like the service, but another lady came, and she did better. The guy was forward and straight to the point, but the lady explained to me everything and she described properly what she was going to do with her job, so that was nice. She has offered me three sections to check if there are rodents in the attic, but we noticed that there were droppings. I was told they were going to put me on the list, but I haven't heard anything about it. Overall, Hawx is a good company.

      I'm here in Texas and if you don't jump on top of controlling the pests, then they kind of take over the house. When Hawx came to my door about a month ago, they gave me a good pricing per month, so I went with them. The techs who came in sprayed the place down, and they were quickly in and out. They were very efficient and since the service, the pest activity in my home has been very minimal, with exception of ants. We have ants there in the front yard and they put down granular stuff that's supposed to make sure the ants don't come back. But after a heavy rain, the granular stuff washed away and the ants came back about a day later on. Other than that, I'm happy with the service from Hawx and their products are pretty effective. All in all, as you pay attention to the details, Hawx offers a very good price point.

      I contacted them to take care of ants. All communication was done via text and I was informed that I could take advantage of the winter special at half price and that if I continued to need their services then it would be $75/month. I was not expecting to be charged $75/month regardless if I used the services or not. They are a fraudulent company and did not explain the contract up front because I never would have agreed to a one year locked in contract with them. When I called to cancel I was told there was a $200 cancellation fee. That is absurd and will not be paid. It is also not a legit signature on the paperwork when I asked for a copy of the contract.

      Horrible customer service. They are extremely aggressive with sales. Once you sign a monthly contract, they ignore you, and will only come out once a quarter. They will refuse to cancel the contract unless you pay an exorbitant fee. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

      I was offered SUMMER service ONLY, and after coming home from a six-month deployment, I find out that this company has been deducting from my account throughout the fall and winter. What the hell is there to spray for with snow on the ground? I returned home in January, trying to cancel the service, and was told that I could only suspend service until the unknown 1-year contract is completed on March 20th. And what do you know, a week before the contract ends, they sneak in another service and charge my account again. I demanded a refund because I had not restored service, but they refused. I strongly recommend NOT using this company.

      This company sends out sales people to entangle them into a bogus contract in which they charge you a cancellation fee for being a dissatisfied customer who gave the company multiple chances to remedy the issue, upon being totally disgusted with the poor service, I requested cancellation, the response was we'll cancel your contact and charge you $199 dollars. I explained that the sales representative told me I was going to be exempt because I am a disabled veteran. They said he can't do that and they didn't care. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!       Hawx gave us a better quote versus what some of the other companies had came out with. Scheduling the service was fast. We made the initial call. They set up a person to come out because we needed them fast, and they came out that same day. The technician was good and knew what to look for. He was nice and professional. I just wish he would have had been a little bit more thorough with his investigation to locate those insects. We had some bed bugs that they found. However, when he did his initial inspection, he said he didn't see them in some furniture that was there that we rented, and that was where it came up that they were.

      Hawx was willing to come back out and re-treat, but by that time, we had already got someone else to take care of the issue. We had people coming in from out of town. It was a big event that was there, and we just didn't want to have people there and things infested even quicker. Overall, they were professional at how they came out and did what they were doing. They were amazing. They beat every other major company that came out price-wise.
