    Customer service is willfully inadequate when it is time to cancel your continued service. It does get charged again needlessly. Trying to get a refund for an erroneous charge is near impossible. It is necessary to get the bank involved to process a dispute of charges. They overcharge for their service and are inflexible until you're ready to cancel your service when they offer you huge discounted rates. When they know they're about to lose you, that is when they are negotiable. Don't waste your time here. There are a lot of others that are negotiable. Several times I had to call for maintenance visits because of clear and present evidence of requests submitted to the office that were not completed at the property in service.

    I had an active termite situation. Hawx has been treating my entire property for about two years, but they just did the termites. I have not seen a termite since unless they're dead. We've seen lots of dead ones. Overall, Hawx has been very responsive. The people that came out kept us advised of what all was going on and why and it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend Hawx.

    I had Hawx in the past. I just went back to them last week. I had a good experience with them previously, and that was why I went back to them. They have great customer service. I had one person on Friday. Serenity was her name and she was great. Then, the following Monday, I had Connor, who explained everything else in detail. Serenity treated the outside and the inside, and then Connor came back to do a more intensive treatment.

    I had some issues with spiders so when a Hawx representative came knocking to my house offering the service, I decided to sign up. The price was fine, too. Scheduling the service was easy. Two people came into my house recently. The first guy was in a rush, so I didn't like the service, but another lady came, and she did better. The guy was forward and straight to the point, but the lady explained to me everything and she described properly what she was going to do with her job, so that was nice. She has offered me three sections to check if there are rodents in the attic, but we noticed that there were droppings. I was told they were going to put me on the list, but I haven't heard anything about it. Overall, Hawx is a good company.

    I contacted them to take care of ants. All communication was done via text and I was informed that I could take advantage of the winter special at half price and that if I continued to need their services then it would be $75/month. I was not expecting to be charged $75/month regardless if I used the services or not. They are a fraudulent company and did not explain the contract up front because I never would have agreed to a one year locked in contract with them. When I called to cancel I was told there was a $200 cancellation fee. That is absurd and will not be paid. It is also not a legit signature on the paperwork when I asked for a copy of the contract.

    Horrible customer service. They are extremely aggressive with sales. Once you sign a monthly contract, they ignore you, and will only come out once a quarter. They will refuse to cancel the contract unless you pay an exorbitant fee. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

    I was offered SUMMER service ONLY, and after coming home from a six-month deployment, I find out that this company has been deducting from my account throughout the fall and winter. What the hell is there to spray for with snow on the ground? I returned home in January, trying to cancel the service, and was told that I could only suspend service until the unknown 1-year contract is completed on March 20th. And what do you know, a week before the contract ends, they sneak in another service and charge my account again. I demanded a refund because I had not restored service, but they refused. I strongly recommend NOT using this company.

    This company sends out sales people to entangle them into a bogus contract in which they charge you a cancellation fee for being a dissatisfied customer who gave the company multiple chances to remedy the issue, upon being totally disgusted with the poor service, I requested cancellation, the response was we'll cancel your contact and charge you $199 dollars. I explained that the sales representative told me I was going to be exempt because I am a disabled veteran. They said he can't do that and they didn't care. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!     Hawx did not do a good job. We still have some of the wasp buildup in front of the door. They were to make an appointment to come back and do the inside. But they have not yet come. They pulled out all those wasp and moth on the wall, and then they just left it there on the ground so we don't see them. However, that is not my concern. Even some at the front door were not totally removed. It was not totally scraped up. They just blocked it off and then you see some moth and wasp buildup on the wall.

    Hawx Pest Control did their first treatment last week and they'll come for treatment every three months. The only thing I was upset about was I was misguided. I was paying someone else $85 every three months and the Hawx sales guy told me, “It's only gonna be $50.” He sent me a contract over my phone which he explained everything. He was nice, but he misguided me on the cost. He didn't tell me it was $50 a month till after I got the contract. After I signed, I started really reviewing the contract. I went from paying $85 to $150 every three months, and they’re just spraying the outside and not coming in the house, the least expensive service. It was my fault too for not reviewing the contract word for word, but when I got it, I called the sales guy back over the phone. “This is $50 a month.”

    The sales guy said, “I explained to you, you get a warranty every three months. You can call them any time and they'll come out any time.” I said, “That's not the problem. The problem is I don't have a problem. I just do it to maintain.” $50 a month is steep. I told the sales guy I was paying $85 every time my other guy came to do a treatment, not every month, and he told me I'd be saving money. I don't mind paying extra if there's a little warranty, but I had a guy doing the same thing, and the only reason I switched was because I was under the impression that I was gonna pay $50 every time they came, not $50 a month just for saying I can call them and they'll come out any time. That was the only issue I had and I learned my lesson. I thought I could trust people, but evidently, I can't.

    I'm locked into a contract for two years. The sales guy said it would cost me $200 to get out of it, which I said, “I'll just get through it for two years, then deal with it after that.” I didn't call back and push the issue. Besides that, the service guy who came to do the treatment was excellent. He explained everything and did what he was supposed to do. He sprayed everything and knocked down the spotlight. He asked me to call back for any trouble and that was one of the reasons I said, “I'll give it a little thing, but I don't think it's worth $50 a month.” I know good and well my past history over here. We don't have an issue. I just have the treatment done for maintenance. I've been here 25 years and I've never had to call an exterminator back to do anything.

    A Hawx Pest Control technician was servicing a neighbor and I called him from across the street. He came over and explained everything. The gentleman was very knowledgeable. He was thorough with what he was talking about and I hired him right then and there. I wanted the pest control spray and I also mentioned to him that there had been some mice and silverfish. We got the work done that day and he was paid. Now, I'm not seeing very much pest activity. There have been a few gnats, but that's from the fruit tree. I would tell people to try Hawx Pest Control and see. They are very good, and so far, I've had a decent service with them. The prices seem to be very reasonable as well.

    Hawx Pest Control is expensive, but they do their job and they seem to know what they're doing. The other outfit is not worth a crap. We're gonna keep Hawx Pest Control a year. It cost me 1,300 bucks, but it's worth it because these damn, oversized mice or rats cost us a lot of money. These washing machine companies don't protect their wires, and the rats start chewing through them and we have to replace the whole damn machine. The companies are not smart enough to replace the wires.

    The Hawx Pest Control reps are really professional and they conduct themselves really well. The guy that came here a couple of times is great. He's really big and I don't know how he can crawl underneath the house, but he does it. They're coming back here this week to do some work. I'll push Hawx Pest Control and recommend them to anybody. We're thrilled to death, and I can hardly wait till the next time they come.

    We were very unhappy with this service. We had a pest problem that they could not resolve. We called numerous times to resolve the issue, but they would not respond in a timely manner. They also did not fix the issue once they finally responded to our requests. The Company is difficult to contact if you have a problem. We had several guests in our home who were invaded by the pest problem. How embarrassing! We finally hired another Company who resolved the issue the first time. We were charged a $199 termination fee even though their service and follow-up was 100% ineffective. DO NOT USE HAWX SERVICES for your pest control.

    Read the negative reviews, I’m not going to say the same thing as the others but they are 100% spot on. I never had a significant pest problem until I used Hawk Pest Control (I did it myself). DON’T USE THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY (imho). If you enjoy throwing your money away, this is the place to go. Be ready for missed appointments and ridiculous fees.

    We had a gentleman from Hawx come out. We had to think it over and discuss it and so, he came back, and was nice and wasn't pushy. I paid for the $10 extra a month, but it's not on the contract. I've been trying to get ahold of him as I need to have my contract rewritten to have it reflect that I do pay for the add-on, for the rats. We don't have a pest problem but I do have rodents. Those things are impossible. I have my own traps that I still believe in, but the deal we got was worth a try because there are cows and chickens in the back property. They have the traps out here for me.

    When a gentleman came out to treat everything, he wasn't prepared to do the add-on. He called his supervisor and it was approved. There wasn't a hassle but I do need to get that contract fixed. I don’t want to put the poor guy that comes out in a position of having to get permission because he's only out to do what it says on his order. I did try to contact the sales guy, but I haven't heard back from him. The gentleman who came out to do the treatment was amazing.

    A gal came to the door and said they have customers behind us that they take care of. She offered to do pest control at my house and explained all the services. She said she would give me the same price they were paying, which was $49 every month. I already had a pest control company but I had been thinking about switching for a while. It seems they provide more service around the property when they come out to spray. Plus even though it's every month as opposed to I was paying every two months, it's not that much more and they'll come out every month.

    I pointed out to her that, in the past, we had scorpions and, knock on wood, we hadn't seen any for a while. But that's always a concern in the neighborhood. We see a few roaches every now and then and the typical spiders. But in the neighborhood, not in our house. I told her our neighbors sometimes have mice.

    Updated on 12/23/2025: I emailed Sydney ** per request in her response. She did not make it right and gave me the same responses her colleagues did. Will not even acknowledge the 2 under the line and hidden in the wording. Just looking at the contract you would think that is a 1 month contract which is what we agreed to with the salesman at the door. We want to end our contract and they will charge a $199 fee for breaking the 12 month contract. I hope this saves someone else from making this mistake and getting tricked into a 12 month contract.

    Original Review: Deceptive company!! Will get you into a 12 month contract when you are signing a 1 month contract!! We were told we were signing month to month by the salesman at the door. Only when we were disappointed with service a called to cancel did we learn we were in a 12 month. I posted a picture of the agreement!! They put a 2 below the line and in the wording of the sentence below. They will not let us out of our contract. Plus they provide terrible service. So if you get a salesman at your door, get out your magnifying glass to find the 2 for your “12” contract!!! Terrible company. BBB is aware.

    I live in a townhouse. I am one of the center homes and I've only been here for a couple of months. Hawx came to my door and mentioned my neighbors who are using the company, and that it would be so much easier if we all used the same. It was convenient and they were also recommended. They told me exactly what they provided for the services and why. They didn't try to get me to purchase a lot of different chemicals that I've never heard of or didn't know what the purpose was. They were down-to-earth, were easy to understand and communicate with. I'm not computer savvy, but they had a device in their hand and all I had to do was sign it. I didn't have to go through a lot of paperwork and verbiage that I didn't understand.

    While they were here, they recommended for me to have rodent traps. They said they could put one in at my back door and one in my front door, and that everybody in this area has them because rodents get in anywhere they can. They said they've never had a problem, but they didn't want to have a problem. And it sounded good to me. I'm in my 60s and rodents bugged me in all my life, in all my homes. I've never had a company that explained their services and these rodent traps like Hawx does from the outside. They've always been inside with the sticky traps. But not these. These are very different. They'll come and check them whenever they come out, and they will periodically be coming out.

    We were avoiding mud dauber nests and spider nests forming around the base of the house, so we called in Hawx. The technician was friendly. He fumigated for pests, treated the outside of the house, let me know that he was done, and left. I haven't seen any, but there hasn’t been a whole lot of activity anyways because it’s wintertime. But he got the job done.

I wanted to show him where I was concerned and the ants inside the house. Then they sent me the link to book the appointment, but the link doesn't have that.     I had Hawx a couple of years ago and I've been having them for a few years for my termite control. I decided to give it a shot because we liked what the original guy told us and where the numbers were at. The technicians call ahead when they come in. They spray inside and outside, and after they leave, I like the fact that they take pictures of everything showing proof that they did what they said they were going to.
