Hawx Pest Control Reviews

I use Hawx for pest control and their monthly service is good as well as their techs. They're friendly and knowledgeable. They let us know a couple of days in advance and just show up and get the work done. The special mouse service was not great, though. I paid extra money for the techs to do stuff and they forgot to fix my garage door.

We have mostly mosquitoes and all kinds of insects around the house. We went with Hawx, and when they come, they knock on the door and tell me what they're doing. They also usually call or text me telling me that they're on their way. I do get some mosquitoes in the backyard. But in terms of the service itself, attendance, and attention from the technician that's applying it, he'd tell me when the invoice is in, and they're an effective service for pest control.

I contacted Hawx Pest Control because I had termites in my garage. They came out and found where they were coming in from and had to install ground traps around my house and well as applying a termite liquid treatment in the garage. They inspect the ground traps periodically. Mine were not reinspected until 8 months later. The initial inspection included my crawl space in my house which I was told there wasn't any termites visible. I now have them in my crawl and am having difficulty contacting anyone to come back to kill them. This contract cost me $5517. They are supposed to come back if I see any more termites which I have. Getting a hold of someone is next to impossible. I am not happy with their service so far. I'm beginning to feel I've been scammed.

Hawx Pest Control was contracted in my neighborhood when I bought my house and I use them for basic pest control. The techs are usually here when they say they’re going to be here. They’re quick and are in and out. Hawx is efficient and reasonably priced.

Hawx had a good price and their products were environment-friendly. I sought their services for general pest control and the techs were always very thorough and friendly. It was a positive experience.

Hawx is service-oriented. They wanna do whatever will cure your complaints and problems with pests. However, it's a tall house, so sometimes they miss wasp nests that are up high. But I let them book the service. And then, if I have a problem, I call them back and say, "No, you got to move it." The texts are spotty, though. Sometimes I get them, sometimes I don't. But they're very useful because I have gates on my fence and they can't get in. Then, they'd be there ringing the bells saying, "The gate's not open." I'd say, "I didn't know you were coming." And that has happened more than once.

Hawx came to our door and did a presentation right there. I wasn't happy with the company we had and Hawx came by at that time and I thought, "Okay, I'll give them a try." We were just doing preventative service. The techs who come send a text in advance that they're coming. They knock on the door and tell me they're here and ask if I have any problems. Generally, I don't have and then I unlock the back gate and let them spray. Overall, we haven't had any problems. There have been a couple of things we've been concerned about, and I've called Hawx and they've come out for an extra service. There were no follow-ups on a follow-up.

We've been using Hawx for 10-plus years now, and their service has been great. It was for rodents, and they took care of it. They put out bait boxes. Now, we have bait boxes, and we keep that under control. I'd recommend them.

We were with another company and then Hawx came door-to-door and their pricing was better. So we made the switch and the experience has been good. The technicians are always very pleasant. The service visit is usually automatically scheduled. I'll get a text from the technician the morning or the day before that they’re coming out for service. My husband goes out and opens the gate and interacts with the technician. I don't like that they started soliciting tips for the technicians. I also didn’t like that Hawx went to quarterly billing and they only come out every other month. I was being charged too much for the services that I was getting. But they switched back to monthly billing.

My experience with Hawx has been very good so far. I like the pricing and the level and quality of service. They're regular and very diligent on the work they do. I don't see as much pests once they do their service. Service-wise, they are punctual. They always keep me updated. They call a few days before and ask if I have any concerns. They always follow up, too.

I've had Hawx for eight years, and so far, the service has been great. They come when they say they're going to come. They show up on time and get their business done and don't dawdle around and take forever. Everything's been good so far. Hawx is reliable and they take care of their business. Price is good. Plus, they've always been helpful.

We had a lot of ants and other vermin. And Hawx came to the door. We tried them out. I've asked them to come out extra times. They got somebody out here quickly and took care of the problem, and it was fine. Their customer service was great. Everybody's been very nice and answered my questions if I had questions about things. They were pleasant interactions.

Our previous pest control provider didn't have good quality. I kept having bugs, and pests would come back. Hawx will come back if I have an issue. My experience with them has been good so far. They come out when I need them to. And I haven't had any bug problems. They also text me. And if I have a problem, I tell them to come at a different time. However, a lot of times, I don't even know they're coming out.

A guy came in here a long time ago offering the service with Hawx Pest Control and we use it to keep the bugs out of the house. When the guys come in, they do the tests and go all around and apply the chemicals. The service itself is good, but sometimes the chemicals seem to work well and sometimes they're not too good. But the techs are always here and try their best. We have bugs inside, but most of the time, it’s okay. We got a lot of ants inside as well as spiders, but the activity is not very big.

I've been with Hawx for a couple of years now. Sometimes they don't show up like they're supposed to. But most of the time, they're pretty good. The tech's been good, and he always tells me what he's doing, and he asks me if I have any problems.

My experience with Hawx has been very good. The technicians are good, knowledgeable and very thorough. I appreciate their follow-up reports. I've received nothing but good service from them.

My experience with Hawx has been fine. They're spraying outside. And if we wanna have them spray inside, they’ll do that. The service members are pretty nice people. And they come in and do their job.

I've been a customer of Hawx for quite a few years now. They're pretty good on their pricing. Their service is prescheduled, so they let me know when they're coming. If I tell them I'm not able to be there, then they just tell me a different day. They're dependable. They come when they say they're going to come. They don't bother me when I say no. They offer me extra services as well. They also keep me informed. They let me know when their people are coming. They let me know when their technicians are gone.

I am filing this complaint because I am extremely disappointed with the service and customer support I have received from Hawx Pest Control. I have been under contract for less than six months, but Hawx has already canceled or failed to appear for two scheduled appointments. I did not receive a telephone call, text message, or email informing me that the technician would not arrive or that the appointment needed to be rescheduled.

In the past, we've had issues with Hawx's billing methods, but they've been resolved.

We had utilized a different service before Hawx. And somehow, it seemed to be increasing our problem instead of fixing it. So, I was interested in trying something different at the time. They explained to me that everything that they were gonna be using was safe for children and also that they were gonna be going up into the eaves of the house, which was gonna help prevent anything from coming inside the house. They are on a regular cadence, quarterly. And they text me that they're on their way. They usually knock on the door if we're home and let us know that they're there to do the service, and then what they're gonna do. We had an ant issue when we had the other service. And that has not come back now. They were good on everything. I would recommend Hawx to friends.

I've been with Hawx for a while now. They were doing the door-to-door special thing. They've been good, so I'm sticking with them. We've had spiders, roaches, and bugs around the house. They come, give me a heads-up before they show up, and ask if there's anything extra that I need done every time they come out. They're very professional. Very happy with them. The pest activity has been great since then.

My experience with Hawx has been fine. However, some technicians do better than others. I was with them for a few years, and then I switched to a company. And then I went back. I've been with them for eight years. I'm set up for a quarterly inspection. And they tell me when they're coming. The techs have been kind and pleasant. The inside has been pretty much bug-free. The outside, sometimes I wish, was better, but I live in the woods or next to the woods. So, it's bad. There are places they probably missed. But they come and clean the cobwebs. And if I need them to come back out, they come out. I'm a satisfied customer.

They always come back at the end, explain what they did, and see if I need anything else. I've been very happy with all of that. I also like their price. I have even scheduled them when I've had issues in between my regular service. And they come really quickly. They're also super respectful, and they always try to check in if I need anything else.

I've been with Hawx for 11 years now, and I've had no issues. I have very big ant and spider problems. They let me know the day that they're coming. And I feel comfortable reaching out to them if I have any issues with my service. Every so often, I still have a spider that will get in, especially if it rains a lot. But for the most part, I don't have an issue with them. Hawx is a great company to deal with when it comes to getting things done in pest control.

10 years ago, I lived in a large house with a large acreage and a lot of vegetation. So, at the time, I was looking for pest control for bugs, ants, roaches, rats, and rodents. Hawx Pest Control met my requirements and I became their customer. I was satisfied with their service. They were timely and reasonably priced. Normally, the scheduling was done automatically on a quarterly basis. Then, I acquired a second property and I added an additional service with them. They started sending out a different group of technicians because the geographical location was approximately 20 miles apart. So, within the last five years, being at the different locations, I began to see the service quality slowly degrade. I would get a billing statement, but there was no schedule attached with it. I had to call and ask when was the technician set to come out.

Hawx was walking door to door and it’s been many years since we started using them for preventative service. They were out this past week. If we have a mouse caught in a trap, I just send a text, and they set up the appointment and try to get out as soon as possible. We've also had some issues with ants in the yard, and they looked at it and took care of it. Scheduling has been good. There have been a couple of hiccups here and there, like sending a text and not getting a response back because somebody forgot to let me know it had been scheduled, but that's only happened maybe once in the past three months. Overall, they've been good and friendly.

My experience with Hawx seems to be all right. Their customer service has been fine. I've never had any issues with anything. I just felt like, as a homeowner, it was something that was smart to do: to have some pest control to keep the ants down. There's one thing that I don't really appreciate. It’s when they come around and they treat; they always squirt the stuff on my hose. I have a hose that's on the ground, and it's destroyed. The hose is so sticky and nasty. I can't touch it. It's a lot to ask. But to move a hose before you squirt the sticky pesticide all over a hose that somebody has to touch, it would be common sense to me. But I guess not. That's my only complaint, though. I don't have any bugs now.

Due to the drought, the ants were resurfacing, and I decided to seek pest control services. I’ve used Hawx in the past, and I went with them again. The techs are always polite. They come out and treat my yard, and they’re doing an okay job. But it's not slowing the ants down. So, I'm not sure if they're not treating enough. But when I called Hawx, the techs returned and added more ant control. I'm totally pleased with the professionalism and the courtesy that the company has shown. But I am not as pleased as I could be with the product.

We had a couple of bees' nests and ants, and we needed some help with the exterior things. Hawx has been great for years. We've had them for probably 10 years now and they come regularly scheduled. They come every other month, and just come in between. If we have a problem, we give them a call. If we need something specific, they'll show up and do whatever we need if we have a problem area that we're identifying.

My experience with Hawx has been great. I heard about them, and I tried them out. I've been with them for four years now. They do a good job, and they're thorough. And I can call them back when necessary. I had some mice, and they got rid of the mice. And we have the termite thing too. They're very good and very professional.

We have the outside sprayed for spiders monthly and we also get a mosquito and flea spray done quarterly. The techs call me and say they’re coming out and show up. I can schedule online if I want to, but I just let them do it when it's convenient for them. I'm retired, so I'm usually home. I love Hawx and the communication. When I ask a question, the reps give me an answer. They also ask if there is anything else they can do for me. When I've asked questions and they weren't able to answer at that time, they have gotten back to me with what I was looking for.

We've been in a relationship with Hawx for over eight years now. They have a fair price. They've been reliable. Whenever I need them to spray in the home, and I call, they're always available and ready and able to do that. They come on a regular basis. It's definitely been helpful to have them come out. I would recommend them.

I used Hawx Pest Control for a long time, but not anymore. The quality of the service was average, and the experience depended on the person who came out and what they did, especially when it came to cleaning up outside. The biggest benefit was that it helped get rid of bugs.

Hawx has always done a really great job. We've been with them for nine years now. They come out if I need a repeat service. I've never had any issues. I know a couple of my techs, one being Robert. He is always very helpful and knowledgeable. The pest activity has gotten better since then. I live on a farm, so I always get spiders and wasps. But it is definitely not nearly as much. I recommend Hawx.

I contracted with Hawx in April of 2026. They approached me doing door to door sales. I was locked into a 24 month contract unknowingly. They said they would be back in two weeks to check traps that they set in the garage. It's now July and nobody ever came back...Not once. I had to throw away glue traps with mice, lizards and even a bird that smelled awful from rotting flesh. The bait station has been empty forever. I have roaches in my garden bed and ants. I had Sage Pest Control before them and plan to go back to them. They were so much better. I DO NOT recommend Hawx. Poor customer service. I wish I could give them a 0.

Do not use this company. They won’t let me cancel, even though I had canceled within three days of my service. And they are trying to charge me $200 to cancel again. They don’t take no for an answer, and they keep pushing. I have reported it to the Better Business Bureau.

We got the mosquito service only. The first treatment made a difference, but it didn't knock them out totally and within several days, the mosquitos were just as bad as ever. Can't fault the technician, he was very thorough and spent a lot of time here. But when we had to call back to get our free retreatment, it couldn't be scheduled for almost a week and then the person never showed up. When I called Hawx, they said it was because of storms the previous day. Well, we had a brief storm late in the afternoon/early evening, which is totally common in the Southeast. The appointment was for that day sometime, they couldn't be specific about the time, but they had all day long before the storm and nobody called to tell us they couldn't make it. When I called them the next day to reschedule, the soonest they could come is six days from now. Six days! In the meantime, we're getting eaten alive!

Run, take a ** and go to sleep, whatever you do, do NOT use this service. They solicited at my door and as it happened, I was pretty sure I had a mouse problem so I agreed to use the service. I found out later that they videotaped this interaction without my permission. I am a soon to be retired nurse and live alone, therefore looking back, they must have seen vulnerability written all over my face. The young man that came out for the inspection tops any Hollywood actor and should win an academy award.
