My husband and I purchased our dishwasher on April 2, 2015. On March 12, 2016 it stopped working. We called Frigidaire since it was under warranty and they set up an appointment for repair. Waited for over 3 hours for repair people then they cancelled. Called Frigidaire they set up another company to come out the next week. Waited almost 4 hours and they showed up. Repair guy looked over the dishwasher and said it needed a new control panel. He said he would order it, that it should take about a week. I checked back several times because they never called me - kept getting told parts were on back order. Frigidaire finally shipped parts directly to me since their certified repair company couldn't get the parts in. The repair guy came out and installed the parts and said it was working. I tried to wash dishes the same night and dishwasher was doing the same thing as before repair.

I called Frigidaire and they told me to call Jiffy - their certified repair company to reevaluate the dishwasher. I called Jiffy. They came out - repair guy couldn't figure it out. He called Frigidaire and was told a sensor was out and needed replacing. I was told he would get the part ordered and should have it in a couple of days. Needless to say I still don't have a repaired dishwasher because they can't get the part in. I have been contacting Frigidaire and Jiffy. Jiffy rarely returns calls and Frigidaire just says, "I'm sorry, let me check." I need help getting this repair done. This has been going on for over 2 months.

We purchased the stainless steel gallery series in May 2014. Appliances were delivered in July 2014. The dishwasher has been crappie from the get go. Not draining well, not washing dishes properly and the odor issue was bad. I had to add lemon juice to every load or else the dishes had to be rewashed with hand before using as they smelled awful. The odor even when the dishes are rinsed and placed in it waiting to be washed just takes your breath away. The dishwasher started giving error message within about 8 months. Constantly had to turn off the breaker to reset as often we were unable to clear message or turn it off. It eventually stopped working within 10 months of purchase, issue -error message, which would now not clear even with turning the breaker off, beeping sound that would not stop and just not functioning at all.

After a service call to Frigidaire, a tech came within a week to diagnose the problem. He said the water pump was bad as well as the computer board. We were out of dishwasher for over a month while the tech waited on parts and got it fixed eventually. It worked for a while and after about 8 months again started acting up. Some days there were error messages and it would get stuck in the cycle. Turning the breaker off would reset it. Today it is May 24th 2016 and yesterday it stopped working again. I cannot turn it off or reset it. Again I have to turn the breaker off. We did not purchase the extended warranty with this product as this was one of the most expensive model and I thought that we were getting a good product. So we will be stuck with the repair bill as Frigidaire air has nothing to offer.

The fridge is another story. It is working well so far but we had a very bizarre experience with it. It uses an air filter that apparently must be changed at least 2 time for the year to keep the fridge smelling fresh. This is an expensive item so we decided to try and have it go a bit more after the change light came up. The odor in the fridge was terrible and the fridge temperature eventually started getting warmer and warmer. And water started dripping in the fridge compartment and the freezer started feeling warm. My husband changed the filter and the odor went immediately. The temperature returned to normal.

What a scam! I have never had or heard of a fridge that has a filter that if not changed render the fridge unworkable. We have been changing frequently and it seem to be working ok. I am sure the amount of money we will be spending in air filter if it does work over the next few year will be a almost another fridge money. The stove is working ok so far. I am hoping that continues. My advice to all stay away from Frigidaire brand. Horrible, horrible product. Bad experience. Stay away from this brand. You will be buying nothing but headache and frustration if you buy.

We purchased our Frigidaire Gallery Dishwasher in stainless as part of a kitchen remodel. Right after dishwasher was installed I noticed mildew on top of dishwasher. I called the company who told me to turn water heater up as this dishwasher doesn't have fan/blower. We had contractor return but to no avail. I've had to remember to open dishwasher as soon as the cycle ends to keep mildew at bay. Most of the time I go ahead and put freshly washed dishes into hot Clorox water as soon as they are finished. I should not have to do this. I've never had to do this before.

It is so time consuming and what's the point of having a dishwasher if I have to hand wash anyway. My husband ran the dishwasher last night and this morning as I was unloading, I noticed a lot of mildew especially on silverware. Last straw! I'm sick of mildew/mold, whatever it is. I've taken several pictures. I just don't know where to go from here. No wonder I have diarrhea all the time. It is really disgusting. Does anyone have answers?

I bought a package of Frigidaire appliances from a local retailer. They sent a service tech out today. Service tech told me that the motor was gone on the dishwasher and the part is so expensive it just pays to buy a new one. I can't believe this dishwasher only lasted 3 1/2 years and no one was using it for over a year and a half. I like the retailer that I bought it from - it is actually the product that was unacceptable. I am very disappointed in Frigidaire.

I purchased a new Frigidaire dishwasher in June of 2015. In September of 2015, I was running the dishwasher on one of the cycles. Hot water began pouring out of the dishwasher, all over my newly done hardwood floor. I called next day re a service person to come out and see what happened and to repair the dishwasher. Service tech took photos of floor, said the pump malfunctioned. It took 3 months to get all the necessary paperwork done to get the floor refinished. Today, May 7, 2016, the dishwasher malfunctioned again. My floor is completely ruined. This time I don't know what happened, but the floor is completely ruined. I want this dishwasher removed from my home and be reimbursed what I paid for it so I can purchase a different brand. I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER Frigidaire appliance.

It runs for 1 & 1/2 hrs to wash the dishes. Why? The front plate below the door came off and even when screwed back on, falls off if your foot happens to just gently touches it. Very frustrating. Also very difficult to clean out the small basket in the centre of the bottom of the wash area. Has different cycles depending on whether dishes or pots. It's large. Holds quite a bit. Just plain with controls at top of door.

Cleans good as long as I use the pots and pans setting, but DON'T forget the rinse agent or you will be hand rinsing glasses from top rack. Delay start, 3 temp settings, 4 wash type settings (including upper rack). Holds a lot, 2 big racks enough space in between for tall items. Black glass front. I am very satisfied with it. Had it going on 9 yrs with no repairs needed as of yet. But the key to the life of any dishwasher is soft water. Hard water will kill any dishwasher well before its normal life span.

Consistently gets everything clean - never had an issue with the last two Whirlpool dishwashers I've had. The delay start is important - starts after everyone has had showers and is clean in the morning, has a heat water option when we run out of hot water - two important features for us. Needed the biggest space we could find - good use of the inside space for the typical, standard fitting. Available in black, white or SS - we went with black to match other appliances. Looks good. Biggest issue is the utensil caddy - it's balanced on two tiny little plastic pegs on the bottom rack - terrible design!

I have to rinse everything before putting in the dishwasher. I have tried doing half loads to see if that would work. It didn't. I have tried different settings. I find myself doing most of my dishes by hand anymore. I like the location of the buttons, and being to run only the top for glasses, cups, etc. I have a lot of wash cycle settings. I like the adjustable top shelf and the bottom shelf dividers fold flat for large items. Not sure how to describe the size. It's a standard dishwasher that fits into the space well. The interior has plenty of room to fit the dishes from a normal meal, plus some. It's beautiful. Clean look, which I like. It's a Frigidaire Gallery. I love the way it looks, I hate the way it cleans. Warranty is the same as most of the name brands. I have to run a clean cycle at least twice a month due to really bad odors. I'm really sorry I purchased the darn thing.

It is loud, doesn't clean dishes, water spots on dishes & dishes are not dry after completed cycle. The features offered are sufficient, but do not perform as indicated. For instance, the "pot cleaning" feature does not clean pots; the "spot-free rinse" feature leaves spots on dishes. Capacity not big enough. Not designed to hold dishes correctly for proper cleaning. For instance, if a pot is put on bottom rack, it will block the dishes on top rack from water and detergent. It looks okay. It has a stainless steel front and matches other appliances in my home. However, the stainless steel on front appears thin and not "rich".

Moderately good at cleaning dishes. Units electronics seize often prior to start or partway through cycles requiring shutting circuit breaker off and on to reset. There doesn't seem to be any condition that causes this. Cycles listed are ok if they matched manual. Opening latch very poorly designed. Was advertised as a stay open door, it's not. It open all the way or closed. Standard size with the layout in the lower rack making placing baking sheets or other long cookware difficult to place. Fits well with my kitchen. Started having service issues early on. Service people replace a switch which didn't solve intermittent electronic control issues. It's off warranted so either it will quit completely, catch fire or continue to limp along for a long time. I would stay away from Frigidaire model FFBD2411NQIA.

If you don't hand wash first, they don't come clean. It leaks a lot. The front vent literally spews water out of it on to floor. I have had it "fixed" and it still does it. They say it's just steam but I end up with a puddle on my floor for a full cycle and clothes end up damp if you lean up against it. This dishwasher is only 14 months old. I love the top rack w built-in wine glass holders. I has 3 water spinners which does seem like it should be coverage to clean. The bottom rack is completely open and flexible. The flatware basket has a few oversized compartments for lids or oversized service utensils. You can really pack this dishwasher full due to the versatile trays.

This is a nice family size dishwasher. I entertain a lot and usually have 2 loads and I am done. One load is actual dinner dishes and one load all the cooking utensils. It will accommodate several large oversized pans and platters. It is a stainless steel but it marks easy from water and I am constantly cleaning front since steam and water run down front. This dishwasher didn't last a year. It was very difficult to get it serviced because they outsource their warranty work.

The communication between Frigidaire and repair company was bad. One would tell me one time for appointment and then repairman never showed 3 times. I had to call repair company and set up time then call Frigidaire and tell them time and confirm paper work so it would be covered by warranty. There weren't many repair people to chose from. I had not heard of companies. Two months past warranty end repairs went down again. I won't buy Frigidaire again. Three appliances all same Frigidaire line and I have warranty issues with all of them.

To date, I have had the entire inside of the dishwasher replaced. Frigidaire customer service has refused to replace the dishwasher, but offered to sell me a three-year extended warranty after the purchase warranty expired. This has proved to be worthless, unless you enjoy a constant parade of "authorized" technicians coming to your home to scratch their heads, replace a part they think is causing the problem, and return later because the problem is still not corrected. I wrote to the CEO of Electrolux North America to ask for a new dishwasher, and was told because I have the extended warranty, the warranty would have to take care of the problem. When we bought our home we bought a basic, no frills dishwasher that did an adequate job. When it was time to replace the unit after 12 years, we upgraded to the Frigidaire Gallery. The salesman told us it was a true workhorse with amazing features and we've done everything by the book, including only using the high end detergent recommended in the manual, as well as finishing rinse, cleaning the trap constantly, etc.

Nevertheless, three months after warranty ended, the drain pump failed. We also found that the computer tends to get stuck on error codes and killing the power is the only way to reset the machine. My fear is that the computer is the next thing to be replaced. We long for the days of our old "set it and forget it" basic dishwasher that did a so-so job but never broke down.

Works pretty well but redeposits specks of dirt inside cups and pots but works acceptably with dishes and other reasonably flat items and silverware, top rack is the worst. Almost exactly at the end of warranty it began to malfunction, would not run, blinking lights on front panel. Went to Frigidaire's website which is absolutely useless. Hunted around the internet and found some not very specific suggestions about resetting the electronics, hit or miss but finally got it working again but it was time consuming and not particularly intuitive. My unit is under counter and hardwired and to reset you must turn off power for 10 - 15 minutes between attempts. Next time I'll install a switch, beats turning off the breaker and anything else on the circuit. And, of course, by the time you discover you have a problem the dishwasher is full of dirty dishes, fun!

Growing up in Mexico I had not even heard of a dishwasher that did not involve two human hands until I was a teenager. As a result, after moving to Canada, I was totally amazed when our Frigidaire model PBDL998CC0 was delivered and I was able to sit back and watch TV while the dishes were being cleaned like magic. The first load of dishes however, did not come out clean and after investigating, I discovered I had not removed the plug from the (supplied) drain hose. After that minor fix, the dishwasher performed its duties without any real maintenance for over ten years, except for the rubber seals between the tub and door, which needed to be replaced after about five years.

Then one night while I was sitting back on the couch watching a western about the Mexican revolutionary Pancho Villa, I smelled something peculiar in the room. I initially dismissed the odor as possibly a simple household cleaning chemical that may have been used in the kitchen, but within a minute or two it worsened to the point I was forced to investigate. As I entered the kitchen, I immediately noticed smoke billowing out of the dishwasher upper control panel. At this point, the odor had progressed to an extremely offensive level and it actually took at least six hours for us to get rid of it using all available methods we could think of, including running our home HVAC electric ventilator fan continuously.

The bottom line: one of the relay switches on the control board was stuck to the "on" position and as a result, the heating element on the bottom of the tub was turned on continuously until the relay switch overheated and began to smoke. I believe this could easily have started a fire if I not been there to disconnect the power in the home electrical panel. The plastic housing which contains the control board was also starting to melt. And although it is still usable, it has sustained noticeable damage, and of course the control board is toast.

I managed to find a replacement refurbished control board, although it is no longer available from the manufacturer as a new part. Given that we have had virtually no major issues for more than ten years, we are going to give this dishwasher another shot at life for the next ten years! Sure beats doing dishes with river water in Mexico while braving indigenous wildlife and drug cartels in the process!

Frigidaire gallery model #LGBD2435NW serial #TH24432151 purchased Feb. 5 2013. Pump assembly fails March 2015. Two years of service on a major appliance is completely unacceptable! So I call the 800 number inside the machine to voice my dissatisfaction. These are the resolutions I was offered: 1.) I could purchase an extended warranty for $289.00. 2.) I could receive a 10% discount on the part. Of course I laughed at that. My response is this, make a decent product that will give a minimum of 5 years repair free service. If you can't do that get out of the business. I am a ripped off consumer, I want what I paid for and I am not going to get it. Not for a lack of trying either. 3 unsuccessful calls to frigidaire trying to come to a reasonable resolution can only mean intentional defrauding of consumers. Reasonable to me would have been extended warranty and repair at $150.00 or half of what they quoted me.

I have had my dishwasher for a little over 3 years. I have already replaced the upper dishwasher rack because it cracked. It cost over $100. The wheels on the upper rack that slide it in and out are worn out. The wheels are a cheap plastic. I have already replaced the wheels on the lower rack several times. When I went to order the wheels for the upper rack which are slightly smaller (the lower wheels don't work), I am told I have to buy the whole upper dishwasher rack for $151.00. I checked many appliance repair places and also the Frigidaire Co. to confirm this. I even asked if they had any other appliances that I could use the wheels from. No! I will never buy a Frigidaire appliance again. I bought a Frigidaire stove at the same time and it was deemed "unfixable" because of a design flaw that let water into the stove and shorted out the burners. I had to replace it after 2 years. Again, beware Frigidaire.

Called customer service again. They sent another service who said the control board was defective and he would have to order another. Same story, two weeks later he returned and replaced the board. He said this was the only other possible cause. Again, it worked for a few days and then failed to drain.

Called customer service again. After being put on hold for a while, I was told the machine was scheduled for replacement and the service man would be sent again to verify the problem. He said he wanted to replace more parts. I called customer service again! And they confirmed that it was scheduled for replacement. This morning (now December 14th) I was told the machine was not scheduled for replacement and they were sending another repairman. Apparently the replacement order was destroyed. Well Frigidaire told me that my dishwasher doesn't need the bottom spray arm because the top spray arm still works, so it's a 'cosmetic' problem, not a functional one. Reviewed June 11, 2015

In March of 2015 I purchased all new Frigidaire smudge proof appliances, spending almost $6,000.00. I am not impressed at all. Right off the bat, I had an issue with the dishwasher - it was not drying the dishes, I had to manually dry the dishes as I put them away. After several days, I knew something was wrong, so I contacted Lowe's (where I purchased them) and they made an appointment for a Frigidaire service call. The gentleman that came out to check it out was a little surprised to see there was no fan or blower located in the dishwasher which normally drys the dishes, so he contacted Frigidaire for repairs.

Needless to say, I was told by the Frigidaire folks that the dishwasher was working the way that it was meant to. With the new technology no blower or fan is needed. What you need to do is after the cycle runs, (which takes about 126 mins,or so on a normal cycle) you must open the door and let the hot steam out so the dishes can dry. REALLY???? LOL. I run my dishwasher at night while sleeping, if they think I'm going to get up at 2 in the morning to open the dishwasher door so the dishes can dry, they are nuts. One other thing, if you leave dishes in the dishwasher for any length of time the dishwasher begins to smell. If this is Frigidaire's new technology, I suggest they go back to the old way (not happy).

Next is the refrigerator. The ice maker is horrible. You can stand there for several minutes and IF you're lucky, a small ice cube will dispense into the glass. By the time you get an entire glass of ice, it's already melting in the glass. And forget it if you need a lot of ice (ex: in an ice tea maker), it does not make enough ice for that (not happy).

Lastly is the range. After 2 weeks, which I used it 3 times, I noticed little bubbles started to appear on the smooth top range. At first I thought it was dirty so I used the little pad and the bottle of cleaner that came with the range. But to my dismay I realized the smooth top is bubbling, so again I contacted Frigidaire and they sent someone out for a service call. The gentleman looked at it and took photos to send in for review.

After 3 weeks, when I had not heard anything, I contacted Frigidaire. I was told that somehow I had damaged the top and they would be happy to replace the top, but I would have to pay almost $200.00 for the part!!! Wait a minute, I had only used it 3 times, and did not scrape it or spill over on it or anything. How could I have damaged it??? First of all I had a Whirlpool smooth top range for 20 yrs, and never did the top bubble like this, and YES, I did spill things on that from time to time. So I guess this means that Frigidaire ranges are not able to handle any normal day to day uses (not happy)! The only good thing that I can say about this product is the smudge-proof coating, yes that is a nice feature. Will I ever buy another Frigidaire product? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Will I ever recommend a Frigidaire product? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

The second week in November, 2014, this dishwasher emptied the water onto the hardwood floor in the kitchen. This was damage that will cost $75 per hour not including the new purchase of hardwood.

This happened on a Saturday afternoon during a wash. Whirlpool does not have after hours service so we called an emergency after hours company. The technician was not able to make any repairs as the wiring, the keypad and water inflow valves were shot and he could not warranty the repairs as it was a poorly manufactured product and it would leak again. The replacement dishwasher cost $1,400. We have been fighting their customer service who repeatedly pretended to register all of the appliances in our kitchen. I made a total of 6 (six) calls reporting serial numbers only to be told in the end we had no warranty.

Finally after many heated conversations and the fact we were not going away they offered to give us 1/2 the cost the worth of the dishwasher $400. The dishwasher was made of flexible plastic and really not even close to being worth the value of $800 on the market. Because we were told by their customer service, we had it taken away when the new one was installed. They then asked us to produce or send them the sticker on the unit. We told them we would send them the warranty card bearing the information they wanted plus the manual and photos of the unit. Not good enough!

Frigidaire Dishwasher FGHD2465NF1A was purchased in 12/2012. In Oct. 2013 the lower arm would not turn about the tub causing dishes not be cleaned, and Frigidaire was contacted. They sent a service person who diagnosed the problem as a bad motor/pump assembly but needed approval from Frigidaire's warranty dept. before being able to order the part. After a number of weeks, the service person returned with the warranty part and installed it. Now the same problem is happening in March of 2015. I contacted SocialCare@Frigidaire.com who responded that they would sell me another motor/pump assembly at 50% off ($66.38 and free shipping) and they have 2500 in stock (why 2500..they must go bad often). Well if you do the math, the motor/pump assembly on average lasts only 1 year. Yes the dishwasher looks nice but mechanically, it's junk. There is something REALLY wrong with this dishwasher. I will never buy Frigidaire again.

I didn't screw the cap on tight enough, it fell out during a wash cycle, rolled into the heating element and melted enough to no longer seal properly. For my model dishwasher, Frigidaire does NOT just sell the replacement cap, I had to buy the entire rinse unit ($30 + $10 for shipping). It arrived today, I took out the new cap and screwed it into my existing rinse unit. Anybody need a brand new replacement rinse unit without a cap?

When I got home 9 hrs later the house smelled of melted plastic. Found it to be the inside of the DW. All of my plasticware and the silverware holder had melted. The pump was still trying to empty the water as it always did at the start of the cycle. The element was white. It was so hot. I feel fortunate that the house had not burned down. I would say that the dishwasher effectively cleaned our dishes twice. It has been crap for the 4 months since. I am not an engineer but have decided that it is just your basic horrible design. I have noticed that since there is not a disposal, that you must constantly clean the filter screen and cover often. The problem is that stuff still gets through and is sucked up through the sprayers. Most of the water holes in the dishwasher are constantly plugged with garbage and the end result is piss poor cleaning. I will be pulling this hunk of crap out soon and be replacing with a product that works. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCT!!! He ordered the parts, in about three weeks later another technician came out with the parts and installed them on the dishwasher. He installed a keypad and a control panel. Dishwasher still did not work. The brilliant technician said the wiring was backwards and that there was a problem with the power delivery to the dishwasher and that was it, he left without any further details or attempts to further troubleshoot the unit. I purchased a Frigidaire gallery dishwasher in Sept. 2013... I filed my first request for service Dec. 16 2013 as the wheel attached to plastic tub was bent and the rail for the top rack kept falling out of the wheels. Frigidaire prompted me to Transworld to have a service technician come out to look at it... I had to take a day off work to be home all day. They did not come out to my house that day and instead asked what was wrong. I told them that the wheel on the tub looked broken... A few weeks later they came out again which I also had to take a day off work for. They had sent a wheel assembly for the rack... The rack was not the issue! I told them it was the wheel on the tub... So the part did not fix the problem!

My driveway is impassable in the winter so I called them back in April 2014 to come back out to fix the problem... the same problem... The technician brought out a drain hose? And tightened the wheel on the plastic tub... The next load of dishes the rack fell off the wheel again toppling all the dishes! So I called them back and they said we will order a tub for you. A few weeks later they called to say the part was in and asked when I could be home... As I work at the hospital and operation requirements required that I be at work for the next two weeks, I could not be home until Dec 22 2014. They came out then and could not get up my driveway! So we had to go down to the bottom of the driveway to get the tub and the technicians... when they opened the box the tub was already broken!

So I called several places... Sears, Frigidaire, Transworld, and a few other places I was given numbers to call... In the end Frigidaire said my warranty was up and that I would have to deal with it myself! Even though the appliance was broken since Dec 16th 2013! They were never successful in fixing the problem from that work order... but since the 1 year manufacturer's warranty was up it was too bad!

Warranty people have sent 3 repairmen who have all stated it cannot be fixed but Frigidaire says they will not replace it. How can a company sell items that DO NOT WORK and not be liable to fix or replace them? The fridge makes horrible noises and the oven vents out of the top, making it completely dangerous. Even when the stove top is OFF, the surface gets over 200 degrees, just from the oven venting. They said this is "normal". We are about to throw all of these crappy appliances in the landfill and go buy new ones because they are beyond horrible. I cannot stress enough how much I would caution anyone to NEVER purchase a Frigidaire. I have been a homeowner for 20 years and purchased many appliances. I had heard bad things about Frigidaire so I had never purchased any of their units. Only stuck with these because they were installed in the house we bought already. I can attest that all the bad reviews are true. Worst customer service on planet Earth. Even the corporate office just bluntly says, "NO"... as in, "SUCKER"... we aren't replacing anything. Finally our prayers for a functional dishwasher have been answered.. In all fairness to the repair agency, (one of only two in all of Chicagoland) would have come out over and over again. On the forth call, I asked the technician "how can he be sure the rotating devices, sprayer, pumps were working properly? We took the new approach I suggested, positioned the washing spinners, say aligned to the north..washed and opened to find the spinners still in place!

Sure enough a silly $1.00 rotating bushing was sticking.! A day later the machine was up and washing.. even the quick or economy cycle. It seems the overview: newest machine on the market is not always the easiest to fix, due to the fancier parts.

    Original Review: Nov. 14, 2014

Once our new Gallery was installed, we had a perfect single wash, never to even start again. Dead. Only two service outfits in all of Chicago land! "We will call you back to schedule service." Three days later, they did. Three days later the actual visit occurred. The technician agreed the appliance is dead, "I will order the part.” Three days again went by, "Mr. Mike, we have only one of your three parts" (three?). And the others "Are back ordered until next year.” The 800 number provided was great to create a service account and told me "Mr. Mike, it will take us 72 hours to see if any of the parts centers around the country can expedite the parts.” That was a week ago. On callback the rep said "there are no notes of a callback on your ticket/issue" and "we have to see if any nationwide repair centers have the parts." And guess what else.. "otherwise, you will have to wait for the parts. There is nothing we can do." If they cannot at minimum, keep a supply of parts, how can they even provide or stand behind an extended warranty?

This dishwasher is made by Electrolux in Italy, which were first concerned signs. It turned out to be a lemon. The water pressure thru spraying arms wasn't strong enough, and dishes on the top rack were still dirty and wet after the finish cycle . We tried different dishwasher detergent with no better results. The only sign of washing was a green light that appeared at the end of cycle, pointed to the floor. Didn't like the inside top door control panel which many new dishwashers now support. After one month of frustration, we returned dishwasher to Costco. It wasn't easy decision as we paid additional $150 for installation. However, if it doesn't work well at the beginning what to expect later?

Later we purchased Maytag MDB4949 with garburator (hard food disposer), $200 less, with outside control panel that suit us better, stainless spraying arms and 10-year limited warranty. Washing result is fantastic. Just scrub food off, no need to rinse. Fully loaded, dishes come out clean and dry!!!!! It is quiet and does not disturb the least in our open kitchen/living room concept. Extremely happy with Maytag dishwasher after disastrous Frigidaire/Electrolux experience.

The first dishwasher ($577.95, SS color) was installed in March 2013 in a primary residence home, 2 problems had occurred by May 2013, also 2 months after the warranty expired. The first is a loud squeaky noise when opening and closing the door. When investigated, the plastic part had cracked, used to hold the wire that controlled the door opening. The second problem was the lower blade had completely broken off. I paid for the wiper blade assembly replacement at a cost of $260.00 to a local repairman.

The second dishwasher was from Home Depot ($499.00/Black color) on June 13, 2013 and had Home Depot install it. The Dishwasher was used for the months of June, July and August 2013, then the house was closed. The dishwasher was used again during the months of June and July 2014, for a total 5 months. At the end of July, the dishwasher would not stop cycling. A repairman was called, he said it needed a whole new control board, a part costing $400, and with the repair service, it would be over $500 for the repair. The dishwasher had a 1 year warranty and Home Depot refused to service it after 5 months of usage, because the 1 calendar year manufacturer's warranty had expired the month before. I do run my dishwasher once a day, however, one would expect to have the soap dispenser actually open when the dishes are being washed. This could be a large part of my problem with the dishes not coming out clean. Last night, I smelled a very plastic smell coming from the dishwasher. My husband did not smell it, but I have a nose for these things and quickly go up to check on it and make sure nothing was touching the heating element. I didn't see anything so I closed the door and let it continue to "dry" my dishes (it never really did a good job at drying anything).

Today, I go to run the dishwasher and it's making a horrible noise. We called out a service person to tell us his opinion, but I believe it to be the motor going back. When this is a "top of the line model", why does it only last 2 years when it around $800 to buy?! Knowing that most say the warranty is only good for a year and even then it's a pain, I didn't bother calling the company. From what I read.. I am lucky it's just the motor. If you want appliances you pay good money for to last more than 2 yrs, do NOT buy this brand! I know I won't be...

I am very disappointed they have not come to a conclusion to repair this recurring issue. I don't believe that I should have to babysit this shield so it does not ruin my floors.

Outside of this annoying issue, I have no complaints about its performance, but to me... leaking is a MAJOR ISSUE! Frigidaire's customer service had no resolution and wanted me to call a serviceman out? For what? I know the issue and can solve it myself. Why pay a service call, what would be the point? She proceeded to say that the gasket could be bad, gasket had been looked over and the shield is the obvious and has miraculously fixed the issue the past three times. After spending over an hour on the phone with their customer service department yesterday and over an hour today only to be put on hold forever when I finally hung up, I was not successful as they told me only the vendor can order parts when the appliances are under warranty.

The vendor also spend over an hour today attempting to order the parts and expedite the shipment only to be hung up on and then finally told they will not expedite shipments on items under warranty. I had told them I would pay the extra money and so did the vendor. End results? 21 days till the vendor will receive the parts. I hope I'm not back here in 21 days to write another complaint. I never had any problem with appliances from Whirlpool, GE, or Maytag. How does this company stay in business? I will never purchase anything from them again and I'm sorry that I spent over $5000 with this company last year.

However because less than 2 years old would not pay for labor (they send repairman and maybe no parts needed so no cost to your company) but would pay parts. Also asked if we bought extended warranty. So here is my complaint. For what we pay they should last more than 2 years and they should stand by product and WHY should we have to pay extra for an extended warranty? Why not stand by your product? Would not purchase another one of your products. Very unhappy.

The technician found that the problem was the "O" ring somehow got caught in the pump impeller. So all we needed was the "O" ring/gasket! The technician said that Frigidaire had not supplied the "O" ring and that the complete pump assembly had to be replaced. This repair was an outrageous $272.17! I wrote a letter to the the manufacturer and the service company complaining that a low cost "O" ring should be a standard part carried. I got a response from neither!!! Purchased this dishwasher at Sears because it was rated the quietest dishwasher in its class. Replaced it out within two months with a brand-new same make and model dishwasher. The reason for this is it was noisy, did not wash dishes very well, leaked water onto the floor. I would say the first 6 to 8 washes were very quiet. After which, it became extremely loud from the water pump. The second replacement unit was a exact same way. If you want a dishwasher that screaming loud and doesn't wash dishes very well, this is the model for you. Thank goodness this has a timer so I can wash dishes late at night while I'm sleeping. Will grin and bear it until I remodel my kitchen. Frigidaire will be last on my list.

Called HHGREGG and complained about the performance and water leakage problems. Their reply was to wait it out and call Frigidaire with service issues! Story goes like this ---- Called HHGREGG 11-04-2013 they gave me Frigidaire customer service. Their expert gave me 3 repair dealers in my area. I called the first on the list - very nice and scheduled for the next day! He came out and advised the tub of the washer was warped (causing the gasket to keep falling out i.e water leak). Splash shield was missing and the pump motor was faulty (noisy can be heard from Mars it's so loud). He gave me a file number and he told me to call Frigidaire 800#.

Called several times over several days leaving messages because they had a higher than normal (BS) call volume! No return calls. Finally got a human on the phone and the expert customer service person said she had no record of a repairman coming out using the file number Frigidaire gave him to reference. I called service man and he called Frigidaire. He called me back. I called Frigidaire and this time the "Expert" told me that the service guy was not authorized to repair my dishwasher. She gave me 3 #'s and the first # was the same guy that came out -- what a joke! Called Frigidaire again and they ok'd a gasket replacement. No mention of the tub, motor and splash shield. It's like pulling teeth with these people --- round and round! Who honestly has the time to fight it out on the phone with these people?? They will not stand behind their product! After one day of use, we were awakened after midnight and discovered the dishwasher had leaked and ruined the ceiling and light fixtures of our downstairs neighbor. PC Richard responded immediately and a technician ran the machine and discovered the unit was leaking from the tub/motor assembly. He was about to order parts when I insisted they deliver a new unit. A week later, it was installed. While this one didn't leak, it made this awful grinding noise, sometimes intermittently and sometimes for the entire one hour cycle. The repairman came twice, but each time couldn't replicate the noise, so we just decided to live with it. Now, after three years, the unit grinds incessantly and leaked, ruining the base cabinets and toe kicks. Since I bought the five-year warranty, the repairman will be back in a few days. I'm not optimistic and I've just grown tired of this poorly made appliance.

We bought model number FGBD2432KF in January/February 2010 from Sears and had it installed in November 2010 when the rest of the kitchen was done. As part of a new construction project, I paid for an upgraded kitchen appliance package from the builder, which included a Frigidaire Dishwasher (FDB1050REB) which did not last 2 years. The motor burned out - this appliance did not get normal use. It's just the two of us, and we have another home that we live in 6 months out of the year. Frigidaire did offer a concession but we still had to pay money out of pocket since I (obviously) didn't want the same model. We opted for the Frigidaire Gallery FGHD2433KF, an allegedly higher end model. In August 2011, again with the same squeaking noise. Another repair for motor issues. Now, I can't use the dishwasher. Horrible, grinding, squealing noise. Have to take the dog outside because she was going crazy during the cycle.

So now I have a dishwasher that's not 3 years old (again, it doesn't get normal usage) and Frigidaire will not acknowledge that this model has design flaws; i.e., motor burns out. I did not purchase an extended warranty and they are not acknowledging the numerous complaints about this dishwasher. Please do not buy a Frigidaire dishwasher - it's like throwing money away. I will now have to purchase my third dishwasher in less than 6 years. I should have gone with an appliance from Sears. I know from past experience that this company stands by their products, inside and out of warranty.

Since we carry the Master Protection Coverage on all our appliances, I called Sears December the 26th 2012. The service man came out and said, “You’re lucky!” Lucky? I thought (really) so I inquired what he meant by that statement. He then stated that we could have had a fire or could have even gotten electrocuted. He contacted Technical Support, which I found out is standard operating procedure. They ordered all the parts to put the unit back together. By the way, the tub is plastic. As of 2/15/2013, the unit still has not been fixed, but we are scheduled for Saturday 2/16/2013.

I am not confident with this as I did some research and found over 119 complaints. I called Frigidaire to inquire about a recall; there’s none to date. Now I have to have a contractor in to go under my home to see what the hot water has done to the underside of our home. Please address this complaint. Photos are attached of the tub and element. Within 3 months of installation, the dishwasher started reading an error code and would not work. We called Frigidaire and were told that even though the dishwasher had been used for less than 3 months, it was still our problem since it had been past the warranty. We ended up spending several hundred dollars to replace the control panel, so it would turn on.

Just last week, the same panel has now gone out again! After doing a little research online, I found out that there is a known defect in the Frigidaire dishwashers, since they vent to the sides which does not allow the hot moist air to escape properly. The steam spills into the electrical components, and so this happens very often. I am so sick of this company, and the garbage that they are getting away with.

Our fridge is also having electrical problems, and the ice maker will not turn off. I had to lock it to not flood my floor again. Never buy a Frigidaire appliance! You will regret it! So after jumping through the hoops, I asked the rep what was going on and also, if I needed to be worried about it catching fire? She put me on hold for 30 minutes. She got back on the phone and told me, "So everything is running fine?" I told her, "No, I told you it wasn't working and that I replaced the motor in it 2 times now and it did it again, and if there was a recall on it". That's when she said if I tried to cut the power off and back on. I told her yes, I tried that. Then, she asked me if I want the numbers to service reps near my area.

I waited for 30 minutes for her to give me a number to a service rep. I asked this woman if all she did there was to tell people to unplug it and plug it back up and if that doesn't work send them elsewhere? To my surprise, she said yes and if I wanted the number. Unbelievable! I had to hang up or I was going to throw the phone across the room.

We bought a Model # FDB1050REQ2 dishwasher less than two years ago. I loaded the dishwasher and went to the living room to watch television with my family. We heard a loud pop and then another loud pop. I ran into the kitchen to investigate and after a few seconds of looking around, heard a third pop and there were sparks shooting out of the bottom of the dishwasher on the right side.

I yelled at my husband who ran down and threw the circuit breaker. Thank goodness we were home and awake! It scares me to death to think what could have happened! My husband pulled the faceplate off and found two bare wires that looked like they had rubbed together inside of the metal box. After repairing the wires, he reread the instructions and found that a simple conduit connector (that was not, but should have been included, for safety's sake) is needed.

I cannot believe that this company would risk a person's life and home for a piece of rubber that should be a standard safety feature. After reading the postings and our fire scare, we will never purchase a Frigidaire product again.

After moving into the home and running the dishwasher’s first load I walk down into my basement to see a large water bubble and water dripping from my ceiling. After this occurred I spoke with Lowe's where the investor had purchased the dishwasher. They were nice enough to replace the dishwasher but said they could not help me with the damage and I had to speak to Frigidaire. I reached out to Frigidaire and they sent me to their claims department with Electrolux. Their claims department consists of a voicemail and no one that will ever answer the phone or even attempt to call you back.

After leaving numerous voice messages they sent me a letter requesting a quote for the damage, pictures, an explanation of what happened and the defective dishwasher part that caused the leak. I sent them everything they requested but stated there was no way for me to supply the defective part considering I had the dishwasher replaced. This was not enough for them and they denied my claim, refusing to do anything to repair my home. I have since sent letters pleading with them to help me and to understand my situation. I have asked them to explain to me how I am supposed to supply a part from a dishwasher that was replaced for being defective.

After doing this for months I have given up on contacting Electrolux and have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Electrolux responded once again saying that I will still need to send them the defective part refusing to budge from their position. I am exhausted from this situation and will never in my life buy another product that has anything to do with Frigidaire or Electrolux. I started my Frigidaire dishwasher around noon on a Sunday and left the house to take my children to their mom's house. I returned about two hours later to find my house on fire. Our dog died in the fire and my house was completely destroyed from smoke damage. I had purchased the house three months prior to the fire and the dishwasher was approximately 1.5 years old (with very little usage as it was purchased by the previous owner to stage the house). The fire marshall and insurance company concluded that the cause of the fire was the faulty Frigidaire dishwasher. I purchased my house for approximately $170k three months prior to the fire and the cost to re-build was over $225k so I would consider the house a complete loss.

More importantly, I was displaced for four months and my children lost their several pets in the fire (a dog and two hamsters). I consider myself very lucky that I didn't start the dishwasher the night before when going to sleep. The consequences would have been beyond comprehension with my children sleeping. The insurance company has taken over the investigation and subrogation claim and I am sure they are only concerned about cost vs. benefit. I am more concerned about the family that isn't as lucky as I was, a family that would have been sleeping when the fire occurred. I hope there is someone out there looking into how safety features can be enhanced.

I purchased a Frigidaire Pro Series Dishwasher. I paid for the extended warranty but did not renew the extended warranty after the second year. The track and rollers in the upper rack of my dishwasher have worn and now the tray will not stay in the track. The tray now presses down on the sprayer arm preventing proper water distribution and efficient cleaning of the dishes. The upper rack can't support anything on the left side, leaving only a small section on the right for glasses etc. I contacted a local service provider in my area to learn that a track and roller kit needs to be installed. The kit, coupled with service call and labor, is going to cost $200.00.

(The only kit that will work comes from Frigidaire) I contacted Frigidaire to request they pay for the parts and I would agree to cover the service/trip charge and labor. Frigidaire was not willing to compromise in any way since I no longer have an extended warranty on the product. In my view, the parts that failed were not designed to last the life of the dishwasher. And since I can't find the parts anywhere else, I feel Frigidaire should be willing to pay for them. My only option is to either pay the $200.00 to repair something that broke through no fault of my own, or purchase a brand new unit. I can assure you, I will not be buying Frigidaire products in the future.

I can no longer use the dishwasher, unless I go into the basement, and shut off the water supply, once the cycles are through.

Two nights ago I was microwaving beans in a microwave safe bowl, and my microwave started to spark, make zapping noises, and smelled like it was burning. Around the beginning of March 2011 I noticed that our dishwasher was making very loud motor sounds. It sounded like a helicopter preparing for lift off. I then called Lowe's Service Advantage only to find out the my warranty was with National Electronic Warranty. I scheduled an appointment through NEW for March 11, 2011 with a local company called Antech Appliance.

On March 11th Antech Appliance repairman came to my house and did absolutely nothing to help dishwasher motor noise. What he did do was scrape together calcium and mumbled something about maintenance and on the way out the door said that he recommended that we not use the dishwasher! Well my dishwasher was full of dirty dishes so I told I was going to run it to clean the dirty dishes and then not use the dishwasher until we heard back from National Electronic Warranty Company.

What this repairman should have said to me was, "Don't run your dishwasher because I have done something horrible to it. Now your dishwasher will flood if you run it and it is going to leak all over the place!" I then called Antech Appliance to tell them about the new major leak after their repairman attempted to repair my dishwasher! They said they would call me back. They never called back, I was not surprised.

On March 17, 2011 I received Interpersonal Message Code from National Electronic Warranty Company. I called back with said code and was told that my dishwasher was not covered because of calcium. Note: My Frigidaire Dishwasher Use & Care Guide and product instructions clearly state that my dishwasher is self-cleaning!

I then asked to speak to a supervisor about my dishwasher that now leaks all over the kitchen! Remember I called because of loud noise not a leaking dishwasher! ! I spoke with Merial, Employee # **, and explained the situation. Merial said that she would send someone out for a second opinion.

On March 22,2011 AG Service arrived to service dishwasher. Apparently the repairman didn't know that he was the 2nd company and proceeded to try to figure out the loud noise. The repairman then said he was going to replace the pump assembly. I told him even if he fixes the motor/pump assembly the dishwasher now has a severe leak caused by the previous repairman from Antech Appliance, Escondido, CA.

Obviously, the repairman from AG Service walked in my house knowing nothing about previous leak problem! ! I am angry for many reasons, today is March 27, 2011 and after missing hours of work and spending time on the phone with various repair people, I still cannot use my broken dishwasher!

I immediately turned off the electric breaker, brought in fans. After an hour the noxious smoke was gone. The door latch does not properly seal and prevent water getting into the electric control panel on the door front. This is a fire hazard and could electrocute the user-- very dangerous. This dishwasher has barely been used due to a delayed kitchen remodel.

On second thought, water getting into the control panel also explains why previously the dishwasher lights blinked erratically, sometimes started on its own, and other times failed to respond to the controls.

My Frigidaire Professional Series (Model: PLD4375RFC) which was purchased in October '07 (or thereabouts) has worked more or less without problems until this past month. One day, I set the dishwasher to run before leaving to run some errands. When I returned, the dishwasher smelled of melted plastic, there was an ER code, and the machine was very hot. I opened the door to let it cool, then closed the door and pushed "cancel" to see if the code was gone. It did clear. Since a plastic plate on the top rack was grossly distorted, I assumed it had been the source of the melted plastic smell. I have been able to run the dishwasher a few times since on normal wash/high temp but each time I unloaded the dishwasher, the top spray arm had been blown off into the top rack.

I would re-attach it but it would blow off each time thereafter. Three days ago, I loaded the machine and attempted to run a normal load/high temp. But the touch pad would not accept any setting but Top Rack, EcoWash, or Rinse Only. On closer inspection, I noticed that the bottom spray arm was badly deformed in one of its arms. So, I assumed that the top spray arm blows off because the back pressure is now too great with the lower spray arm deformed. I ran two loads two days ago on Rinse, followed by EcoWash successfully. Today, I did the same thing but I received an ER code. The dishwasher was hot and the plastic bowl was melted beyond recognition.

Thanksgiving is coming and I will have to have a dishwasher--my wife does not think paper plates and plastic ware is acceptable (women!). I have read that this particular model has been having issues like this for others. I hesitate to bother repairing this thing since some of the appliance repair techs on some of the websites I've read pretty much guarantee that the problem, if fixed, will happen again. If I can fix it myself, it appears to be a minimum $240 job; if I hire somebody, considerably more. All this for a three-year old machine!

Purchased matching Frigidaire Elecrtolux appliances for our new home. Purchased 900 series dishwasher from Sears in 2005 and had nothing but trouble with it. Had the Sears repair man out to fix it 3 times. We even bought the extended warranty for the first two years.

The bottom arm came loose, got burned on the element, the dishes sprayed food all over the dishes so that I had to wash them by hand before putting them away. The last thing that happened was the computer panel started to burn. If we hadn't been home to smell the electrical fire, perhaps the house would have burned down. There is no replacement part available. The order desk stated that no more were to be sold. We now have to purchase a new dishwasher after only five years.

I purchased a Frigidaire Dishwasher Model # NoTH64286933 a few years ago. I woke up on September 28th and smelled something very funny in my home. I went into the kitchen and the smell was awful. I opened the dishwasher to realize that the heating element never shut off. It melted everything in the dishwasher, the cabinets were burning hot and the entire bottom of the dishwasher was melted. I turned the dishwasher on at 6:00 pm and when I woke up at 6:00 am, the heating element was still running. My house could have burnt down. My husband called Frigidaire to report the problem and they told us that nothing could be done. My home could have burnt down with myself and my 3 children in it. I will never purchase anything made by Frigidaire ever again.

On December 16, 2009, I purchased a Frigidaire Dishwasher Model GLD2445RFQ. Within a few weeks, the motor started grinding and whining. I called an authorized repair service and they replaced the motor on February 2, 2010, again on July 19, 2010 and again tomorrow, October 1, 2010. Each time, it's the same problem, and the service company can only keep repairing it. I called Customer Service and they said they have no record of the repairs. The warranty will be up soon and I'm stuck with a big fat lemon.

We are complaining about a product. We have a Frigidaire dishwasher; model GLD4355rfs0, which has been great. But we had to have a service man out as it just stopped! The elec. board had burned up - no warning no nothing. It was brand new, installed November 26, 2007. There are just the two of us in the home and we travel all winter, so it was not used at all for those months and only perhaps two times a week. We loved the quietness of it but think it should have lasted longer! Why would it burn up that soon as the repairman said and we confirmed there was no water involved, etc? Please let us know what can be done to compensate for this product.

My 22 month old son got his foot stuck under the dishwasher (stainless steel) and he had to undergo emergency surgery to repair his achilles tendon. The laceration was so deep. It scraped his ankle bone and now has to take antibiotics to keep it from getting infected. He cannot walk for at least 4 weeks and will be put in a hard cast this week. After researching, I have found that this incident has happened before. Please beware of the sharp, uncovered, metal edge under your dishwasher!

I bought a Frigidaire 'Professional Series' 24" stainless steel dishwasher in July 2007. In November 2008, 1/2 half of the keypad quit working. I recently was looking for parts and found many many many others having issues with boards and touch panels on the same series of dishwasher. I'm very unhappy I spent so much money on this so-called pro-series dishwasher to have it last such a very short time.

I noticed there was water leaking into my closet. I took everything out of the closet only to find molded walls and carpet! I investigated the dishwasher model:FDB1050REM1, serial: TH63384283, and had found that the heating element had a defect. The plastic part around the water pipes was completely melted away because the heating element would get to hot and eventually melted it. Thank the Lord I found it in time because eventually it would have caused a fire. I had to rip out the carpet in my closet and cut out part of my shelving unit because it was molded.

I now have to rip out the cabinet that was next to the dishwasher. It's a scam. You buy a four year old product. This should not have happened! Electronics are being made poorly and the customer is the one paying the price and the distributor is reaping all the benefits! Manufacturers need to stand by their products and have a warranty. Do you not warranty your product because they know its going to break? Unsatisfied customer!

We purchased a Frigidaire Dishwasher Model number FDB1050REM4 on September 22, 2008. On August 3, 2010 we started noticing water leakage on our garage floor and walls. After checking many pipes and what could be causing the leakage, we discovered that the leakage is from our dishwasher. After thorough check of the dishwasher, we found out that the heating element in the bottom of the unit had burned holes in two different angles through the bottom plastic shell. This has caused the water leakage into the walls of our house and garage. This is obviously a defective product considering the fact that the dishwasher was less than two years old. This heating element could have caused fire while asleep.

On August 16, 2010, I called the customer service at Frigidaire to file a complaint about this defective product. All my explanation was to no avail. I was told that the product is out of warranty and since I do not have an extended warranty, they will not be able to help me. Through my research, I found out that many customers have also had the same problem with the Frigidaire dishwasher. There has not been a recall on this particular dishwasher. Obviously, we do not want to wait till people die in fire caused by this defective heating element in this dishwasher.

This is not a warranty issue, this is a defective product issue and should be recalled immediately before serious accident happen since most people run their dishwasher at night before going to bed. Frigidaire customer service department is not ready to help us consumers with this issue, we therefore need to resolve this through the appropriate agency.

We purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher in 2005. We haven't had any issues until today. My 9-month-old son was crawling around the floor by the dishwasher and got the back of his foot cut open by the bottom of the front panel. There is a gap between the bottom of the panel and the floor where he was able to get his foot underneath it. We had to make a trip to the ER, where he received 11 stitches to close the wound. Parents beware if you have a similar model. Our model is FDBB945DC1.

We've had a Frigidaire Dishwasher for two years now. Just recently when I started it, the machine runs and runs and doesn't shut off. I have to turn it off myself. Someone told me there was a recall on some dishwashers. The Model #FD6510LC83. Serial #PH81520623. Is there anyway you could check to see if there's a defect in this machine? I'm afraid it will start a fire.

I purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher from BrandsMart in 2008 for a rental property. After it was installed, it started leaking from the front. A service tech was called out and they made some adjustments and for a while it was fixed. I was called to active duty to serve Iraq for 10 months. Upon my return I was informed by my tenant that the leak was more prominent. I am very disappointed in this brand. I am not financially able to repair or replace this dishwasher and I can't afford to lose a tenant over the leak. I tried to place a rubber door sweep to keep the water from pouring out the front this afternoon. Please help.

I bought a dishwasher highly rated with Consumer Report and worked (not great) but dealt with it for over a year. Mechanically, it wouldn't register to recognize any cleaning modes. ironically a year and a month later, after we purchased it, paid over $200 to have the whole front panel/mechanical stuff done with someone that is authorized per your company. Still, it never worked properly but I worked with it and it finally didn't work and had to jump hoops to get you to authorize new service.

Yes, no need to hear once again that I didn't extend my warranty. How about a product that works for more than a year? We had a GE dishwasher for 15 +years, never had it serviced for 5 people plus numerous entertainment and household guests. Now, my kids are older and don't even use this dishwasher nearly as much. It still doesn't clean or work. Again, I paid to have this fixed right after the Frigidaire warranty expired, over $200. This model was highly rated on Consumer Report. What a mistake they made. So just got off the phone with Frigidaire and I will be compensated for 70% toward a new dishwasher. Seriously? Wow, I can't wait to share this with Consumer Report.

I'm waiting for something other than this offer. This product needs to be replaced not only here but off the market. Shame on all of you for not standing behind your product. To take an extended warranty and use that as an excuse to not repair an item? Should it break after 1 year if you provided a quality item? No.
