    Ordered dishwasher on Frigidaire site on Dec. 3 with delivery date on Dec. 13. It's never delivered. I called & chatted with multiple reps throughout two weeks. They said they would send me delivery schedule very soon and said I could cancel my order anytime. On Dec. 24 I finally got an email to reschedule, but the earliest delivery was in January, when we would be moved out of the house. I cancelled the order, the agent said she would try to waive the 10% restocking fee. On Jan. 22 when I contacted them, the agent could not find the refund request nor waiver request, and refused to refund us the restocking fee.

    The technician checked the dishwasher. Said it was a Gasket. It took a week to return to change the Gasket and we continue with the same problem. Now they give us an appointment in nine days when it has already been 15 days to change the gasket, now he is going to return to check again to see what the problem is then to order the part it will be more than a month that they are taking time to fix a dishwasher. Apparently these technicians are not qualified to fix these things since if he had seen it the first time and had analyzed well he would have seen that it was not the gasket, sometimes they just take the easiest way. I do not recommend their service. The worst is that this is not the first time, they took a month to fix a refrigerator which we decided to buy one since nobody can be without one. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

    I replaced "all" my kitchen appliances with Frigidaire products from Lowe's - Side by Side refrigerator/freezer, Gas Stove, Microwave, and last but worst of all, a dishwasher that I have regretted every time I turn it on. (1) It takes hours on normal cycle. (2) Does not get the dishes clean (I have to rinse all the food off of them. (3) Even using the Finish liquid there still a white film on the plastic ware.. (4) The unsettling felling is that the dry heating element has melted the lower circle sprayer twice and it concerns me that it could catch fire and burn my house down. Yes that is the second time this has happened.... When I asked them about it oh it is out of warranty we can't do nothing about it. They don't give a rats a-s-s about the consumer. OH BY THE WAY IT WAS IN WARRANTY THE FIRST TIME IT MELTED. THEY DIDN'T HELP THEN EITHER.

    My parents bought a new Frigidaire dishwasher March 28, 25. It never worked and we have been asking for a replacement. Today's date is October 14, 25 and we are still without a working dishwasher. Frigidaire keeps saying they are waiting on parts. They have refused to replace the dishwasher and the parts are not available. Some of the customer service people have been very rude and don't stand behind their product. DON'T BUY FRIGIDAIRE!

    Recently purchased a dishwasher and button panel cracked within the first year. Spoke to Frigidaire and they said it's not part of 1 year warranty. Now the light on panel doesn't work. I would highly recommend a different company. Was a longtime happy customer once but products have become very cheaply made.

    We've had to replace the bottom wand because the plastic tabs keep melting off, rubbing against the heating element which causes a fire issue. It's literally needs to be replaced yearly. The manufacturer will do nothing about it but tell you that you need to buy new parts. Even in the first year, still under warranty, it was extremely difficult to talk with them back and forth to try and get them to replace it. Don't count on it.

    Updated on 10/12/2025: We purchased all Frigidaire appliances for a new home build. Our first attempt to use the Frigidaire dishwasher caused a flood on new kitchen floor. I called Frigidaire to schedule a warranty repair and the technician came out in two weeks from the time that the repair was scheduled, after the technician diagnosed the issue with the dishwasher he said it would need a shut off solenoid and order the part. The technician also said that Frigidaire customer service would reschedule a service call when the part arrived. Three weeks after the first visit, I received notification from Frigidaire customer service saying that they had the part and scheduled a repair date. The technician came out to the house with no part, said the part should’ve been shipped to the house, it never was and he had no way of tracking where the part was..

    This went on from April to August with a minimum of six technician showing up at our house with no part. Finally mid August the part was shipped to my house. Frigidaire scheduled another service call and the technician came to the house install the part. After the technician installed it he quickly tested the dishwasher and said it’s good to go. The first wash cycle after the dishwasher was repaired. It ran for six hours and never completed the wash cycle. I finally stop the cycle manually. After many heated phone calls to the appliance store I purchase it from they agreed to replace the dishwasher.. The replacement dishwasher is very loud and still takes 3+ hours to do one wash cycle. The dishes in the dishwasher are still dripping wet even after a 3 hour wash cycle. Avoid purchasing Frigidaire appliances.!

    Original review: I purchased 3 new Frigidaire appliances for our new home, double oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. We moved into the house mid April 2025 and the first time the dishwasher was used it ran a 9 hr cycle and discharge all the water on our new kitchen floor. I called Frigidaire customer service which is obviously offshore and needed subtitles to understand their representative.

    After repeated myself multiple times I was able to get a service call scheduled for May 05/01/ 2025. The technician was knowledgeable, found the problem quickly, but needed to order a part. The parts was ordered on the same day. Weeks went by and I received an automated message that a service call was scheduled to install the new part. On the 5/13 the technician shows up without the part and said it was supposed to be shipped directly to me. I never received it. 3 more service calls were automatically set up and the same thing happened 3 more times. Technician shows up but no parts were ever delivered.

    Once again, I call customer service and explain the situation multiple times because of the language barrier. The representative said she will ship me the park directly. She Asked me my address? I repeat my address multiple times, she reads it back to me correctly and then gives me a tracking number. I keep checking the tracking number and the part ships to a different address in a different city.

    Fast forward to 7/28/25 4 months dealing with a new broken dishwasher and the part finally was delivered. The technician shows up on 8/5/25 and installed the part. He tests the unit for 5 minutes and says it fixed and is good to go. At 11am my wife attempted to do dishes in the new dishwasher, it ran a cycle until 7 PM at night and discharge all its water on the kitchen floor. Finally after many complaint calls to India or the Philippines I’m getting a new dishwasher! Frigidaire customer service is horribly unorganized. My advice is buy a different brand! This was a horrible service experience.

    Customer service connects you to automated messages. Got 1 person, connected us to machine. They have canceled 3 times now on fixing dishwasher. Waiting for them to commit or cancel in 4 right now but we are not holding our breath.

    I just received from Costco online a Frigidaire dishwasher. The installer installed it correctly. And it is leaking around the door. The latch on the door is faulty. I am not impressed at all. Will buy another brand.

    This company looks like a big fraud to me. My dishwasher stopped working 2 weeks ago. When I called customer service, they upfront took the amount of sending a technician for the repair. Till now, they have made 2 false promises of sending a technician but no one has yet come for the repairs on the washer. They keep on rescheduling the technician for a later and later date.

    Dishwasher is approximately 3 years old. Rarely use. Last week, I opened it after a long cycle that I've never used before to find the spray arm horribly melted on both sides. This should NEVER have happened. On contacting Frigidaire was asked, "Is it still under warranty?" Really?????

    1 year and 1 month old dishwasher just stopped working completely. The power to it is fine. Just out of warranty of course. Paid for the best dishwasher and got nothing but junk. First two times we thought was our power and reset breakers. Now nothing works just out of warranty.

    Updated on 03/23/2025: Continue my headache with this dishwasher. First after wait 11 days for a technician to show up to my house this one show up with no parts. I call Frigidaire again. They send me a ** dude from New Haven in a personal vehicle. Allegedly he fix the dishwasher. Today Sunday March 23 my wife went to use it. Surprised this noises and garbage still not working.

    Original review: I bought a dishwasher January 15, 2025. Got delivered February 2. My kitchen has been remodeled so it got install March 3. By March 9 piece of hung dishwasher stop working. I call customer service. The rep service told me they will be come to fixed the next day. Totally lies since the company they assigned made they own schedule. Totally regret buy this brand.

    We purchased a dishwasher but we were dissatisfied. Customer service did not help. We did contact them via email and phone. They wouldn’t even return respond to our calls and emails. Extremely bad customer service. They wouldn’t even exchange it for a better one. This dishwasher takes for the normal wash Over four hours which is ridiculous. We know this is not normal but they kept saying it is normal. The bottom rack comes off track. This is a very cheap quality material. Will never buy Frigidaire appliances.

    I have a dishwasher that is only 6 months old and it stopped working, I have claimed warranty of the product and it's been 35 days and still no dishwasher. I have been following up multiple times and no luck on schedules, eta's, parts delivery. If you need some peace of mind better ignore this brand. If you want PROBLEMS please buy Frigidaire.

    I agree. Don’t buy Frigidaire. We are in a luxury apt unit. Put luxury in quotes. There is no dishwasher that works. Which is to say there is a Frigidaire and it has not worked since we moved in. I cleaned our dishwasher, ran the rinse aid cleaner twice, took out the arms and cleaned those, cleaned out the very lowest dishwasher trap. All are brilliantly clean but the dishes and glassware are ruined. The Frigidaire won’t rinse properly. I give up.

    We have a Frigidaire dishwasher that was brand new when we bought our house 6 years ago. The appliance itself has been fine until a month ago when it stopped draining. I had to call Frigidaire to get a technician since appliance repair companies in my area don't repair this brand. I was scheduled for 12/23. The day arrived and a tech called me and said, "I don't know why they scheduled you for this day, I cannot work this day." We discussed the issue and he ordered parts. I was scheduled for 1/13. I received the parts on 12/27 and called Frigidaire to see if they could come any sooner. They said no, so I patiently waited for the 13th.

    On the 12th, I received a text confirmation reminding me that a tech would be coming the following day with a window of 8am-5pm. I stayed home from work, only to get a text at 12pm on the 13th that I was rescheduled AGAIN for the 23rd! We are now a month out from the original repair date. I called to see why and the customer service said I was never scheduled for the 13th, and the 23rd is the earliest someone could come out. I explained I had a text confirmation and everything, and they insisted that was never the case! Unbelievable!!! They said they have no access to contact the technicians or anything, which is ridiculous, because SOMEONE does. As frustrating as the reschedules are, the fact that they insinuated I was lying is what really was my issue. We shall see if they even show up. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

    Dishwasher hand broke the first time the Dishwasher door was opened. My first call to customer service I was told the part was on back order and should call back in 7-10 days because they couldn't sell me a part on back order. So I call back 10 days later and ask if the part is in stock and I am given assurance that it is so I order and pay for it. After waiting a week it still hasn't arrived I use a check order status link only to discover the part is in fact not in stock and was not in stock when I placed my order, making a liar of the 1st person I called. Furthermore I am convinced this part is on back order because it is of inferior quality and many other people are trying to replace the part. I will never purchase another Frigidaire product again, if you find yourself tempted to purchase from them just remember Frigidaire rhymes with they don't care, chose another brand is my advice

    Model # FGIP2468UF1A. Lower dishwasher arm fire hazard. The lower arms plastic and metal components are delaminating due to plastic tabs holding metal plate are melting. Metal plate is scaping along heating element. I can see where some parts of the plastic parts are melting. Contacted Manufacturer but it seems like customer service doesn't care at all

    We are remodeling a home. And decided to use all Frigidaire products. The Frigidaire dishwasher is got to be the worst I've ever used. I have a home cleaning business for over 30 years now. I have lots of experience with dishwashers. I've never had such a horrible dishwasher. Don't waste your money. You have to wash all your dishes before you put them in the dishwasher. What's the purpose. I can just do them by hand better than the dishwasher. The soap doesn't come out of the soap container. The dishes never come clean. Don't waste your money.

    I hate Frigidaire. They got me this time. Will never buy frigidaire again. Renewed warranty after found technician halfway put it back together in with constant ongoing issues always the same. They said although I paid for the warranty I will have to wait two months for it to be effective, so they can claim out of warranty. Since I called must be an issue warranty no good yet they knew it was an issue the first year I had it.

    Their technicians complain about the product. Do two loads, steam rises then you have to keep flipping the breaker. Model number FGID2466QF. Must be a lemon or recall as they no longer sell it for same price. Last saw it as clearance. Paid over 700 with taxes etc. Never again buy anything frigidaire as it is junk. If I cut my losses as you say I should since they do not stand by their product and waiting and spending non stop time with repairman wears you down, is the only option. Refrigerator fine except icemaker issues they knew they had too. Fun keeps on going, guess the most they can do is give you your warranty money back, since they know they sell junk. French door Refrigerator not cheap. Best buy another brand as they are not a reliable brand. They need to be reported ripping people off.

    from Lowe's Covina supplied from Home Supply Warehouse. After running the initial Rince Cycle we noticed a strong order. After calling support, service came out, verified the strange order and left a package of Frigidaire Ready Clean Dishwasher Tablets. After many cycles, and using several of the tablets a strong order still persists. Something has been allowed to contaminate this machine.

    The builder of my home installed a frigidaire dishwasher. From the start it left the dishes dirty and does not dry the dishes. I've spent a month and a half contacting them. They sent someone to look at it. A part was ordered. I was told 2 weeks. It's been 4 weeks. Again today spent hours trying to find out what's going on. They say now that the repair company will be contacting me. I can only think that they're waiting for the guarantee to expire and then I'm stuck with it. Terrible machine, terrible service.

    Our house was new and came with the Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher. The dishes are continually dirty and I have replaced the lower dishwasher arm twice because it touches the heating coil and melts. I have looked online and this is a normal problem that Frigidaire has not fixed, or tried to fix, or recalled. I called their help line and their system was down but the employee knew that Frigidaire would not replace the arm.

    I purchased a new Frigidaire dishwasher as my kitchenaid was not cleaning well. Rather than getting the motherboard repaired I bought a new one. This is the noisiest dishwasher I have ever owned and in order to be sure the items in it are not wet, I have to use the hotter wash cycle. It takes 3 hours to run. It gurgles (sounds like a toilet flushing) a lot. The repair people have come and feel the rinse aid is part of the problem with wet dishes. Apparently these newer models need rinse aid full. We turned it up to maximum to help and it has. Plumber said hoses are connected properly so the gurgle remains! And sometimes the wash cycle is very noisy. Not always the same each time but I’ve had it over two months now.

    So I purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher then less than one year ago, I purchased it through Home Depot. In less than six months, the handle had broken to gain entrance to the dishwasher. Which is used whenever the appliance needs to be used. I contacted my handyman to have it replaced and he told me it cost $198 because you must not only get the handle you have to get the latch which is not broken. So then I thought about the one-year warranty. I called Frigidaire and they told me that is not covered. It’s considered cosmetic. What is cosmetic about a mechanical part that is used to gain entrance to their appliance? I’m baffled... They will not cover the handle or latch.

    I have a Frigidaire dishwasher with a drain issue. I have been without a working condition dishwasher for about three weeks. Two technicians have suggested different solutions, first to replace drain pump that didn't work and second to replace main board and switch board which have been ordered and waiting for parts. I requested for unit replacement, but I was told NO REPLACEMEMT since the parts can be replaced. Fed up without having a dishwasher for three weeks. Waiting for parts that would take another 7 days! Poor product and poor customer service.

    I lurched this Frigidaire unit from Lowe’s in November 2022. After about one year I noticed the coating on the racks peeling off and becoming rusted. They will not cover it with warranty and the replacement racks are as much as the unit! Even the extended warranty will only pay half of the cost if ordered from the manufacturer first. Frigidaire…here’s a thought…fix your product!!!

    Customer service is atrocious. Cost to just come look at your dishwasher is $200. I may as well just buy a new one. Customer service doesn't know their own products or how they work. I got better information off Google than from the source itself.
