Empire Today Reviews

I had carpet replacement in a guest bedroom and the closet with Empire Today. I went to the store and looked at samples then I requested someone to come and do an estimate for me. It was more convenient and affordable. When the sales rep came to my house, he had everything. He was showing me the different options that I had. Two people came for the installation and did it for two hours. The work they did looks nice.

If someone's gonna get carpeting, online is the easiest way to do it. Empire Today's presentation was really good too. The sales rep had plenty of samples and went over everything in detail. I had carpeting installed in two rooms and it took one day. It didn't start off very well ‘cause the installers didn't know which carpet I ordered, and they may have installed the wrong one. I couldn't remember if the carpet was the one that I chose or not, and I looked forever for the paper for the carpet I ordered, but I couldn't find it. The installers should have known off the bat what carpet I ordered. I was assuming that the carpet would come here already marked, but the installers had to have me come out in the truck to pick it out, which I thought was not very good. They had carpet back there wrapped up with different names on it, some that I went over with them. One installer also spoke hardly any English.

The sales rep was very friendly and nice. I'd give him a 10. I had laminate installed in the den, and installation was good too. Empire Today was supposed to come and remove the tiles underneath, but they didn't because it would have been a mess. The tiles underneath were the mosaic ones wherein they break up pieces of tiles and put grout over it. They said it would've been too big of a job to do and couldn't do it, so they just put the laminate flooring over it. We had sticky back tiles on over it and they took that up. The job came out really nice, and I love it. It's level, and my favorite is it looks really good. I told all my friends it's beautiful and showed them pictures.

Empire installed our waterproof laminate. We liked their rating and the longevity in business. I had them come to me and that was very refreshing. The fellow was very informative. He had the product in the car so we could see what we're wanting to buy at the time. It was a straightforward experience. Install was very quick. They got here when they were supposed to get here. They got done a little faster than I thought they would. There was not an issue with anything they did. The trim was excellent. It looks like a new job when they got done.

I bought flooring from Empire Today, and that experience was good. However, they reached out to me recently with this whole spiel about a deal they had. It was a promotion for 50% off flooring and install and they asked me specifically if I wanted the same flooring I just bought. I said, "Yes, of course." They got here for my appointment and the guy said, "That flooring, actually, doesn't fall under the promotion." I said, "We specifically discussed that. You literally walked through the door and confirmed that I wanted that same flooring." It felt like a bait-and-switch. It was a waste of my time, and I didn't appreciate it at all.

Empire Today did a very nice job on the carpeting that I got from them and they were able to get it done quickly. Their price was good and I would hire them again.

We had carpet and like a tile flooring in the kitchen, and then the new LVT in the living room and hall installed by Empire Today. We love the products. The sales experience was very pleasant. The rep was very knowledgeable. All the samples and everything were ready. I was impressed with his knowledge of the product itself. As far as the install, the guys were done in a day. They had to come back the next day and finish some trim work and some of the little closets, but they had 90% of it done in a day, so I was very happy with it.

I love the work that Empire did on the kitchen floor and laundry room. I like the color, too. It's grayish on the floor in the bathrooms and the kitchen and laundry room are black and white. The rep did it in a timely manner and the installers were also very polite.

We wanted to stick with Empire Today and we wanted a certain carpet. We wanted it to last for a long time. That's why we chose Empire. Two guys had the flooring done in four hours.

We had carpet and laminate installed by Empire Today. Someone came and did the presentation to my home. Customer service-wise, it was outstanding. He did a great job. He explained everything. He went over it again if I had questions. He made it very clear. He brought in all the samples, showed me different styles, different samples, used his little bill where he took a picture and could show actually the room with the laminate in it or the carpet color of my choice in it, which I thought was neat. He talked about the timeframe and how it could be done. He did an excellent job.

Our overall experience with Empire Today was as good as one can expect. Their pricing could be a little bit lower, they showed up on time and did the job quickly. It was very smooth.

I booked the appointment online and Empire Today came to me. The salesperson saw the space that I was working in and brought samples for me to choose from. He had a good selection. He was friendly, personable, and explained the product and process well. Also, the installers came on time and completed the job. I had some recommendations, which we ended up adopting. They were courteous and did a good job of cleaning up.

Working with Empire has been my biggest regret. I have never had such terrible customer service especially after spending so much money with them. I got LV flooring done back in 21'. Within that 1st year they was lifting and buckling. They sent people out 2 times with the same answer "I don't know what is causing it" so they would take the flooring out and lay it back down. Well now it is lifting again in that same spot and also in 6 other spots and since it is out of warranty they want to say it is due to the cleaning products I am using.

The product that the Empire salesman swore was "bullet-proof" is awful. The product is buckling from the smallest water spill and around entries, it is pulling at the seams and the most plasticky, sun-glaring ugliness ever. The product that was shown to us, is not what was installed. I have been trying to work with Empire to resolve some of the issues and they have not responded, closed our file, claimed it was all our fault even though we bought an extended warranty. They have sent two installers out to take pictures of the issues, one set of pictures was magically lost and the other was dismissed. Both installers said they can't fix our issues without installing thresholds in our open floor plan first floor.

I have never seen such a horrendous display of service/communication from a company that manages sub contractors. Had to have my contract revised and resent to me 10 times over errors, ridiculous. I had work done it was beyond acceptably delayed (2 weeks to do 2 rooms of a townhouse), no communication. You have to be there when the contractors show up, but never know when they are coming. A new crew came and refused to haul away the old flooring when it was already paid to be removed. It would have been easier if I had just hired someone myself in person. Very horrible service, would never recommend to anyone.

We have used Empire before and we had great service with them. This time, the sales rep came out, and we showed him what we wanted, then he showed us samples. We picked it out and we discussed the padding. It was very good. We had carpeting installed in three of our bedrooms, and it took two hours. Three installers came in, and they were very kind, respectful and generous 'cause it's a brand-new home. They removed the carpeting that was put in 'cause it was not very good, then they installed the new carpeting. It's very good quality, and we also love the color. It was perfect. If anything spills, we can use some soap and water or just water to get it out. All in all, I love Empire Today. They're great, and I have recommended them as well. They did my daughter's house also.

I've used Empire Today twice. A few years ago, we had laminate flooring on the main floor. And a few months ago, we had carpet upstairs. The installation was great both times. The installers were very professional, very nice, and Worked hard. I recommend Empire Today to friends.

They did a good job with the carpet installation and the price was okay.

I had a wonderful experience with Empire Today. I had two rooms of wall-to-wall carpeting done and I commend the gentleman who did the installation. I would recommend Empire to anybody. I'm completely happy with the job and the product.

I used Empire before, and this time, I had the synthetic wood flooring. Installation was very good and efficient, and the quality of the flooring is satisfactory.

I got price quotes from various flooring people and the quote from Empire Today was very competitive. I did a price match and they did it with no problem, which surprised me. I ended up getting Pergostyle and the quality is decent. The installers were very quick and efficient. I've never done that before, so it was a little noisier than I expected. But even after this time, nothing is going up and everything is quite flat. The installers were also really professional and the little stuff they did on the edges of the baseboards were great. But I regret the color choice as it shows every bit of dust on the flooring. So you have to sweep every single day. I had carpet before and everything was hidden. But my wife loves our new flooring and that's all that matters.

Empire Today's salesman was good and he sold me vinyl flooring. Then, the installation job was okay, but they were not clean about it. It was all dust all over the house. Also, I paid double than what I should pay. The price was very unreasonable. They cost me almost $12,000 to put in three floors, but if I bought the best material at the Lowe's or Home Depot stores, it would probably cost me $3,000 or $4,000 for the best materials. It also doesn't warrant the $8,000 to install it.

We had used Empire Today before. We used them again for the kitchen behind the stove. It was a hidden thing until I pulled the stove out and then I saw the incompletion back there. The sales rep was good because he presented it like he should. He didn't try to force me. He just showed me the product. I accepted it and I used it. The install was done nicely and neatly. The guys that were on the job were very friendly. Our new laminate flooring is beautiful. They're easy to clean. My wife made a mistake. She put some kind of a cleaner on a little part of it. So, it's shining and we can't get it off.

We had Empire twice. We had our kitchen floor installed, and I have nothing but praise. The gentleman's who installed was Domini, and he should get a raise if anybody needs a raise. He knows his stuff. The kitchen floor is beautiful. It's excellent. It's impervious like an armored tank. The material is great.

I used Empire Today before. So when I got new carpet, I just called them back. I love my carpeting in my bedroom. However, they didn't do a great job of cleaning up. And now my closet doors don't close all the way. They said, “Have someone fix it and send in the bill.” I didn't do that. But I would still recommend Empire Today.

I did hardwood flooring in the entire downstairs (kitchen, hallway, dining room and living room) with Empire Today, and it was a fantastic experience. The rep brought a bunch of samples. I kept telling him how I wanted it and what I was looking for. He went out to his car, came back and told me he knew exactly what I wanted. The installers were on time and were at the house for two days. They were clean and very helpful. Empire Today is great. Get a price and use them.

Empire Today got here when they were supposed to, did nice work and cleaned up.

I called Empire Today when I wanted to have bathroom floors. A guy came out and I liked what he said. The installation was fast. They did a great job. The flooring looks great. I love it. I'm also gonna have floors put in my bedroom and in the kitchen. But I'm gonna wait until I get the bathroom floors paid off before I do that.

The rep was so nice and helpful. I had to reschedule a couple times, and he made it very easy for us to do that. The installation was quick. The installers came in, helped us move furniture out back, put the carpet in the bedroom and vacuumed. They took the carpet that was here out with them. My husband said they did a great job. I like the carpet and its color.

The rep was very professional. I had carpet installed in the bedroom. I went back to Empire because I used them years ago and I was impressed. The installers were very quick. They did the work for two and a half hours. They were very professional too. Right now, I'm satisfied. The bedroom was very nice. I'm happy with my experience. It was a little expensive but you get what you pay for. I wanted a good padding.

The person from Empire Today that originally helped me worked with me. I was looking to get the flooring done last April but my mom passed a few weeks before they were supposed to do it. I had to keep putting it off and once I was able to get everything straightened out, I went back and got it done. They came on a Monday and it took them three days. We did the entire house and had two installers. They were phenomenal. They were not told the scope of the project because when they got here and saw everything, they were like, “Oh, my God.” But we all took time off. My brother and my daughter were here and we had another friend that was here. We helped and followed instructions. We were here to do whatever they needed. We made it a group project. The luxury vinyl plank flooring is wonderful. Everybody that comes to see it says it looks so good. I look at it everyday thinking I'm so glad I did this.

I got the initial work done which was the carpet. The team has been great. The jury is still out on the quality of the carpet though ‘cause it's still fresh and new.

I liked Empire Today's quality of work, speed, and price. I was very happy with their work and the product.

I had the whole first floor done. Empire Today didn't caulk the bathroom properly. I had to get somebody else to re-caulk it. Also, they threw away my toilet cap. So, I had to get somebody and order new caps to do that. Plus, they broke my granddaughter's piggy bank. But the floor is good.

My new flooring installed by Empire Today met my expectations.

Our wall to wall carpet is very good. Everything met my expectations. The installers communicated well and cleaned up good afterwards. They moved furniture back which was good.

I'm from the Chicago area but I live in South Carolina and somebody mentioned Empire. I already had bids from Lowe's but I decided to have Empire come and they did and it was more personable. I had the vinyl floor, the plank and carpeting installed. It was excellent. I had a flood because somebody broke a pipe outside and it came inside. So I had to cancel the plank flooring. Empire was very understanding and they waited. We had to do each part differently and it was planned to do it all in one day. But they were willing to just do what was dry. Then, they came back and did the carpet later.

I was mainly impressed with Empire's salesperson, but I wasn't impressed with the company. It wasn't very conducive to my satisfaction. They were very obnoxious and very unprofessional sometimes. There were several people there that I enjoyed working with, but the office people messed up my payment. They were insistent that I send them the final check with the repairman because it was late when they left. So, I gave it to one of them. They apparently never got it from him, but it was found and deposited. Their bank sent a replacement check to me after I'd gotten that I had to get a bond to cover the check with the bank until it was found or replaced.

Empire Today's rep was trustworthy. I had carpet installed. Our new flooring is okay.

We've used Empire Today several times. Initially, we saw something on TV and we said, "Okay, let's check them out." We had them come in and somebody else and Empire gave us a better price. I'd like the price to be lower, but we're seniors. So, we did get a little discount. They were helpful in finding a good deal for us. Mason and Austin were the two gentlemen that we worked with. They were both charming and nice to work with. They looked out for us and made sure we had exactly what we needed and everything was a good fit for us. They checked in on us to make sure that we're still happy. So, I appreciate that.

I had laminate flooring installed in my living room area, and I had a very good experience with Empire Today. I was satisfied with their work after seeing some of the advertisements, so I didn't consider other companies. Empire's salesman came by first and showed me the samples and colors, and I picked from that. After that, the installers came, removed the old carpeting and helped move the furniture. They put the stuff down in a day’s time and cleaned up after themselves. They also asked me if I was satisfied with the installation. I highly recommend Empire Today. They were very professional, and the installation, as well as everything else, was very great.

The sales rep from Empire was very informative and dealing with him was good. But he made some promises that he was gonna drop off the sample so we could match up the moldings and he never did. So, I tried to call him. But he never responded. We bought hardwood flooring and we had to postpone the installation a little bit but it went very well. The installers were very good.

The sales person was nice. The installers were alright. The flooring is not good quality. We had our living room carpet replaced. I thought I asked for the best. The nap of the carpet is so thin you can see the white the nap is threaded into. My old carpet was much thicker. We had LVP installed kitchen & dining area. Looked like I got all leftover planks with knots every other plank, scratches very easy. So sorry I used Empire Today.

Our sales experience was great! She was polite and helpful, however, we 100% wanted something waterproof as we have 3 dogs! The product sold to us only has a "moisture treatment" applied. We've only had our floors for 3 weeks and have already had to call for a repair. Maybe just the area I'm in has a poor management system.

Empire was great. I had used them to do my kitchen floors in the past. I was happy with them so I got carpet from them, too. The salesperson this time around was excellent. He didn't try to pressure me into buying a more expensive carpet. He let me stay within my budget. The installation team was fast and respectful. I just got out of their way, and in no time, they were done. The man who sold me the carpet said it might take a day or go into a second day to install it all because I had my whole upstairs done, and they were done in four hours. They got the living room, three bedrooms, 14 steps, and then the master bedroom done. Everything was great. They did an outstanding job.

Empire Today did the floors in my kitchen and bathroom, and I love them. The salesperson was very thorough. He gave us good prices and a good discount and set us up right away. However, the cuts at the corners in the bathroom are not evened out like they should be. I wasn't here when they did the installation and my husband wasn't watching so it wasn't their fault. My nephew's a carpenter and he pointed it out. It's something that I would not have known on my own. But I like Empire Today. I'm gonna get them to do some other work as soon as I can get the money.

Empire Today installed berbery carpet in my basement. Their prices were good and they did a quick install. It was a quick turnaround. The sales guy that I dealt with was very nice. Four installers came in and they moved all the boxes out and then moved them back in. They did a very good job. The carpet is easy to maintain. The only problem I have is that it catches on things and then it pulls. If you try to fix it, it comes out and then there's a clear line. It actually breaks apart. But it has nothing to do with the install.

I had carpet installed in the basement stairs, and hardwood floor in the living room and the main stairs by Empire. The sales guy who came out was awesome and very informative. He showed me samples. He talked to me about the company's history and their customer service and support. I was satisfied with that. The installers who installed the hardwood floor in the living room and the one that installed the carpet in the basement were really good, informative, and they answered my questions.

I had the upstairs bedroom, a bedroom downstairs, and the whole family room done. I went online and I liked what I was seeing at Empire. The sales rep answered all of our questions. He was very nice and respectful. He showed me everything that he had that he carried with him. So we were able to pick what we wanted very easily. It was quite a bit to pick from.

The salesman was very informative. We were planning to do all hardwood but he showed us that it'd be more feasible to get carpet and laminate hardwood. He was very well-informed and detail-oriented as far as the floors, the qualities, and what to expect from each one. He helped me choose it. The install of the hardwood laminate went smooth but we had a little issue during the carpet installation. The guys messed up one of our ceiling fans in the master bedroom, but they came back and they made it right. The work done was really good quality and we were really happy with the way it came out. Empire Today is quality products and great installation process.

We had vinyl flooring installed throughout the house. The sales rep answered all our questions and was very easy to relate to. It took a whole day for the installation then they came back and had to finish doing some little odds and ends. They probably could have got it all done in one day, but they ran out of some type of material. Everything looks good and we've referred people to Empire Today.

I was getting quotes from a couple of places but I love how the rep from Empire Today came out to my house. I didn't have to do anything special. He measured and had all the samples. It was a super easy process and they were reasonably priced. There was also financial incentive to make a decision quickly, and I had the carpet installed in a timely manner. The guys were super fast, very polite and did a lot of cleanup. The only thing that was an issue was when they arrived, they didn't seem to know that they had to pull up the cork floor that was there. They seemed surprised by that but they did it and moved on. They did a great job while they were here and everything looks great. I've been happy.

Empire Today made my stairs wooden instead of rug. Nathan, the sales rep, made a lot of products available to me. My wife wanted a floor and he was trying to get me to go with the rug which I appreciated but I told him if my wife wanted the floor, then that was what she was gonna get. Two people came for the installation and they worked very fast. There was a bubble on the fourth stair up, but they came right out and fixed it. It came out nicely.

I had the hardwood flooring put in and everything was fine with Empire Today. Their salesman knew what I wanted. I wanted where I could clean the floors and I didn't have to worry about water spills. But they told me that they would give me stuff to clean the floor with and I have never seen it.

Empire Today was excellent. The installers did a good job. They were courteous and teared nothing up. They were competent. The flooring has good quality.

I liked their product. It was a little cheaper because the installation was half off. We had a lot of area to do. The salesperson was really, really knowledgeable. The installers were good at what they do.

I had carpet put in my house 10 years ago, and I liked the carpet and the installation. Everybody did a good job, so I figured I would try it out again. But it was a different company for the worse. The salesman came in. We picked out some carpet. He said it was a decent one, and it turned out to be cheaper than what we had in here. He sold us on a stain resistant insurance policy where they would take care of it. They replace the carpet. I went for that, and the installers came in and were horrible.

Empire Today was fantastic and their team was the nicest group of guys I've ever met in my life. They were so knowledgeable and they had samples in the car. We also checked Home Depot and they said it would be about seven weeks for the carpet to come in, then once the carpet came in, we'd get a call from the installation place within two weeks to schedule a date to install it. It was like it was going to happen in another year. But the guys at Empire said they could be there the next day, so that was fabulous. And there was no price or quality difference. It was the same carpet and unbelievable service. Empire's guys also did a perfect job with the installation. They sent out five guys who had to take the old carpet out then they were vacuuming and sweeping. I was so impressed with them. The carpet also comes with a good warranty.

Empire Today advertised a special that sounded good. I liked the fact that they brought out samples, whereas other ones I researched did not. I was told by the salesman that this was a good carpet and it would uphold traffic pretty well. But the installer told me the opposite so I started to worry a little bit. The installer was correct. The salesman was very nice but I was very much misled on this carpet. I asked him specifically if it would spring back because I didn't want paths looking into my carpet. He said yes. But no, it doesn't spring back and no, it's not a good carpet. It's brand new and it's already all wearing and spots. I have sent Empire Today emails but they have not responded. I wish they would get back to me because I would like to get this replaced. I'm not happy with this carpet at all.

We used Empire Today in the past, so we got a discount for being a former customer. Also, the installation was a little cheaper with Empire. They had a special on at the time. Put one room in, get the second room free for installation purposes. We told them when we booked the appointment that we were looking at laminate instead of carpet. So, the gentleman came up and brought up seven types of books that had the different types of laminate. And he explained that these were waterproof, and what the laminate was made out of. He opened the books, sat on the couch, and let my wife and I go through and look at the different colors and the samples. When we picked one, he said, “Okay. Now I'll tell you a little bit more about it.” He did, and we decided that was the one we wanted to go with.

Empire Today was easy to deal with. I got carpeting from them and the quality seems good. I would recommend it.

Beware of the people that Empire brings to the house because they subcontract some of the work. You have to be careful and watch how they do it, especially if it's in a mobile home park for seniors. Ours was a repair job. It was the deluxe vinyl planks. It was in the living room, family room, and bathroom. We had the salesperson come. I looked at samples and took something that was supposed to be similar. But it ended up being lighter, which was okay with us. The same product was not available. We had to change.

Empire Today was a referral from a friend and through them, I had carpeting done in my basement and laminate done in my main floor. The flooring meets my expectations.

I had used them before and I bought rugs most recently. They were fabulous and the sales rep was fantastic. They were easy to work with, on time, neat, and very good.

I made contact with Empire Today then a representative contacted me. We set up an appointment, and he did a wonderful job. We got marble tiles for one for the bathrooms and wood for upstairs. We redid our whole upstairs which included two bathrooms, three bedrooms and a staircase. There were four installers who came. The others spoke a little English, but the representative did all the talking and let us know what they were going to do.

I've used Empire several times before and used them again a couple of months ago. A representative came to the house and he was pretty knowledgeable. The installation team came within the same week and they installed carpet in two rooms. It took five hours and they did a good job. Everything was perfect.

Our experience with Empire Today has been excellent. We like the flooring. The man who did the hardwood floor was very good and fast. The people that did the tile were good too, but it was hard communicating with them because of their English communication skills. But we managed.

Empire's work was very good. I intend to have some more work done.

The salesperson that came out was great. The guy knew his stuff and he represented the company well. I liked all the fact on the guarantees and the methodology was good. We got a good price, too. But it was the technical portion that he dropped the ball. What he didn't tell us was that there could be some issues with the measurements not being right. We got a rock thrown in in the estimate by the installers having to do all the plywood to make the flooring even. If the sales rep had warned us, that would have been different. Also, I left him a voice mail and he never got back to me.

I have lots of children and big dogs. So, we were looking for the best warranty, most durable carpet and flooring that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg outside of tile. The cost and quality was roughly the same, but Empire Today was able to get to it at a much quicker pace. The sales rep came out, and I told him, "Tell me how much it's gonna cost and when you can get it done," and he was very to the point. So, he gave me exactly what I asked for. Also, the financing is great as long as you have good credit and they get it shipped out as quickly as possible. And the craftsmanship is one of the best I've dealt with. I would hire the installers myself being a contractor. They're great. I have recommended Empire Today to friends.

I had gone to Empire Today before, and they made it so simple that I just went back to them. I made the appointment and the rep came out the next day. He was very nice, quick, thorough, and explained everything. The installers could come the next day, but I wasn't ready. So, I had them come two days later. They did a good job. The flooring looks great.

My experience using Empire Today was great. I looked at Home Depot and Lowe's, but their product was superior. I got the luxury vinyl plank flooring and had it installed in my home. I love it. I love the way it looks. They did a great job installing it. The salesman was awesome. He gave me a good deal. The whole experience was really good.

The sales visit with Empire went great. We had used them before so I knew what to expect. It was how I made my decision. I had carpet in the living room and hallway installed and I felt comfortable with the one who did the installation. I'm usually not comfortable with people like that, especially when it was just me and my kid home. I sat outside on the porch and he did his thing while he was in here. When he was done, he told me and showed me what he did. I was very happy with his work. Empire worked within my schedule and they were very professional as well as the job.

I've used Empire in the past. I used them again and so far, everything is looking good. We had great communication with the sales and installation people. The only thing that wasn't completed was a piece of quarter round that was not attached to the wall, and I'll fix that myself. So far, the flooring is meeting my expectations. I'm not having any issues with the flooring. There is no warranty with this flooring that they talked me into putting in. So, I'm hoping nothing ever goes wrong.

I had Empire Today install small flooring and carpet and the quality was great. It was a good service and the person who came out did a pleasant job and did everything he came to do.

Empire Today was running a special that was probably a dollar less than Lowe's and 50% less than Carpet Guys. But I was very unhappy because the salesperson set me up with a certain product and with a trim to match. They installed white trim when I told them it should be gray. It was gonna cost more. They couldn't put in the kitchen floor because they said they would have to tear up another floor. They were having a lot of issues with getting my flooring in and I should have gone with somebody else. It isn't rectified and some of my trim is now coming up but I don't even wanna fool with it. I never heard back so I just said, "Forget it." It wasn't a bad experience. The guys were knowledgeable and it wasn't the installers. It was just the whole process. So now I have gray floors and white trims.

I like Empire's website because you could see what the floor looks like before you decide on a color. I got LVP flooring and it was installed four months in our main living room and the hallway. I like it. The installers were awesome. They both did a really good job. They were in and out within maybe six hours or less. I plan on getting my bedroom done soon. I'd like to return to Empire because the color is only available through them and I want the color in the same rooms, but I've had issues with some of their people. The salesperson and the installers were good. The product is good, too. It's just dealing with the financial department was a big mess. It got so bad where they sent me to a collection agency. There was a big mix-up with the cashier's check.

The two guys who came for the installation of my Empire carpet were great. I also appreciated that Empire gave me a discount that they had applied to it that brought the price down a little bit.

Our experience with the sales rep of Empire went well. It was informative. I like their warranties. We purchased laminate paneling and there were two installers. I had just bought the house, so there wasn't furniture in the house, which made it easier. They were quick and polite and got the good job done. Empire is worth it.

I had Empire Today install carpet in our home, and I felt really good about the price. We were putting our house up for sale and the stairway carpet looked really bad and we were gonna have an open house. I just started with Google and I saw Empire's, "Need carpet tomorrow?" It fit perfectly. I got it two days later. It was really good. The guy who came to my house was very nice and very professional and helped me with the solution that I had with the certain area of my house for carpet. The guys that put the carpet in were nice, respectful, and did a good job.

We had Empire come over to give us an estimate, and it seemed fair. The sales rep was good. He gave samples and my wife had an idea of what she wanted. He got the sale. He was also friendly and courteous. I was working when they installed it. When I came home, the installers were almost done. They did it a lot quicker than I thought they were going to. It looked good. The product also seems to be holding up as advertised.

I liked that Empire Today came to the house, showed us options, and I was able to get the installation scheduled so quickly. The agent and the installers were all professional. I felt confident in what they were doing. So far, the flooring is doing very well.

Empire had the best value and the most options and the quickest turnaround. We got hardwood installed in our home in the kitchen and a bathroom, laundry room area, and in our other two bathrooms upstairs as well. We've got two dogs. We definitely wanted the flooring to be durable, and to stand up to them. I've also got a two-year-old. So to try and be just resistant to as much, our sales guy pulled out the sample and ran his knife across it and it didn't scratch at all. That was our final decision as, "Our old floor is super scratched up with just the dogs and our son." The durability was really important to us.

The sales rep with Empire Today showed us the samples and we picked one out. It was overwhelming but she made it easy. She was lovely and gracious. I like her. Then the installers came, moved all the furniture, and installed the flooring. They were professional. They came between 8:00 and 9:00 and didn't leave until 2:30 because they did do a lot.

Company was very responsive to reach out and work a solution.

Stay clear. Was given a 2 hour window for them to just come estimate (keep in mind we have 3 under 3 and accommodated this time frame). Never received a courtesy call for running late until 30 min AFTER the appointment. If this is the service you get just for an estimate, I can only imagine day of install.

I'm happy with the Empire people. The salesman was excellent. The delivery scheduling was excellent too. The products are mediocre, but they come when they say they're gonna come, they quickly solve your problems and get out of your hair, and they're efficient. The installation was good. I just think the quality of the flooring could be better.

I had laminate flooring put in in my front room and my hallway. I contemplated about doing it myself, but thought it was a bit big of a project for me. I chose Empire, and they did a great job. At about 9 in the morning, the installers arrived and started moving the furniture and pulling up the carpet. They were very conscientious about working in our house 'cause we were there at the time, and walked through all the details with us. If there were any problems that came up, they brought it to our attention. If there were any decisions to be made one way or another, they let us make those, and the recommendations of what to do before they commenced further. They were very thorough and very professional.

I bought carpet from Empire Today and it's very affordable. Their sales rep was very professional and their installers were fantastic. The carpet was installed in one room and it's very durable.

When I found out Empire was in our area, I called them right away because I know of them. The sales visit was excellent and the rep was like an expert. I had carpeting installed in the master bedroom and office and only one installer came out. I originally was not happy with that because I thought that one person shouldn't do the job. It sounded like there were a few phone calls and the other one thought he was coming but couldn't make it. But the installer did an excellent job and it was obvious he knew what he was doing. He did it quite quick and cleaned up. I was pretty impressed. Also, the communication was really good -- as far as them calling us and keeping in touch and everything. I even got some texts somewhere along the way.

I bought carpet and laminate flooring from Empire Today, and the rep who assisted me was very knowledgeable. They had to have two different crews for the installation, so the laminate flooring was installed within 24 hours of my purchase and the carpet was done within 48 hours. For both crews, six reps showed up and moved the furniture, then they did all the work and put all the furniture back. They started around 8:30 in the morning and they were done by at least 3:30 in the afternoon. One crew did three rooms with carpet, and other crew did two large rooms with laminate flooring. Their workmanship is very professional and the products are excellent quality. I was very impressed. Also, I had one flaw in a piece of threshold but they immediately came out the next day, then they evaluated and fixed it.

We had oak flooring installed in our hallway, and it took six to seven hours. First, Empire Today came out and talked to us. It sounded really good to me and the rep was knowledgeable. For the installation, they looked through all the place and measured it out. They pulled the carpet out of the hallway, took it out and put the oak flooring down. They cleaned it up, and everything turned out great. If someone's looking for flooring, I recommend Empire Today. They were very good, neat and quick. My wife and I were very pleased.

We called Empire Today and they came out. The price seemed reasonable, and we didn't wanna spend the time to shop around, so we just went with them. The rep was awesome. He was very professional, explained all the different carpets, answered all our questions, and even gave us a little extra discount. We had a good experience. We have a dog, and there's that stain-resistant, pet-resistant thing that they have. I like that, and installation was simple. We moved some of the stuff, and the installers moved all the heavy stuff. They installed the carpet, and it took them all day ‘cause there were three big bedrooms. They were professional, and we haven't had any issues with the quality so far.

I have had Empire Today twice and I'm very satisfied. Recently, I purchased a rug for a bedroom. Someone came out and showed me samples, then the installer came in and laid the carpet without any problem. It was done within about an hour, and it looks wonderful. I love the carpet.

The installers which came over to install my thing my flooring were a family, home of workers, nephews, cousins. During the installation process, they stack the flooring on top of the metal hand bars on each side of the front porch steps, and by stacking those heavy things there they made them become loose and of course, over the last two years they become looser. As you can see about some of the pictures that I took and sent to you, they ran an electric saw between the gap between the wall and sheetrock and the floor to allow room for something but the floor is a laminate which is only like a8 of an eighth quarter and it’s thick so I don’t think they need to do that, but they did it anyway.

Imagine laying out $11,000 plus to replace your floors and then after they rip out your floors, you are told that your floors need a lot more work than expected. They stated our floors needed to be leveled and this would take an extra day of work and more materials. We were told they needed 4 days to complete the floors instead of 3 and they had to get 14 more bags of cement, bringing the total to 25 bags of cement for my home. We are told this is going to cost more and we had to wait for a call from Empire.

Do not use Empire. They tell you a price. I asked this is the final price and no hidden charges. They stated yes. Then after they tore up my floor they then charged me more. They stated, "You signed and you did not have hidden costs." They intimidate senior citizens. I sent many emails even to the CEO who gave it to the Director. I asked to speak with him but I am beneath him. Then I got scolded by the Service Manager because I reached out to too many people. They refuse to make it right and refund the hidden charge. They are unethical and I should have read the real reviews before purchasing. I was even told by the SM I can not control what others say. I would not have had an issue if they were upfront with me. Worst Customer Service I have ever encountered.

Empire Today did two bathroom floors for me a couple of years ago and did the kitchen, dining room floors and everything for me, and we were done. The bathrooms were tongue and groove, and the vinyl in the dining room, kitchen, and laundry room. They cleaned right up with no problem. We did it in brown, so it turned out nice. They did a good job.

I have been trying to reach Empire Today for weeks, I can't get anyone to return my calls. The installation of my flooring was very poor quality or it could be the quality of the product. After about a year, I have buckles and gaps in the flooring.

I've always used Empire Today and automatically called them when I had carpet installed in a three-bedroom and a living room-dining area. The two people that were here for the installation were good. There was a spot in the living room that was wet ‘cause the people in the house prior to me had cats. One of the installers asked for some bleach and cleaned it up. However, they didn't put the carpet in the closet like they were supposed to. It dawned on me that all that carpet that was left was supposed to have been in the closet. But it's no big deal. I love the carpet in the living room. I should have gotten it in the back as well, but I was trying to do something different. I purchased the little checkerboard-looking carpet, but I don't like it. Also, it’s only been six months but it looks like it's wearing already where I sit and work at at my desk.

I had my house done with vinyl and carpet. The trim around the vinyl was not done properly. I called but nobody ever came to look at it. I also put in some carpet and tile. They put linoleum in bathroom instead of tile. The carpet is done right but they didn’t fix the problem in bathroom after they went and looked at it. Salesman didn’t break down what I was paying for each stuff. Just charged the full price. Not to happy with the company.

I had a good experience with Empire Today. I had to call them back to correct a mistake that they did. They came out free of charge. Also, they took my bed apart but never put it back together. Other than that, everything is fine. I wish I could afford to get more done, but they're expensive.

I had carpet installed by Empire Today. It took the installers seven hours. They did pretty well and they were clean. However, there were some things that were wrong and I had called and they did not fix the problem. On the closet doors, there are sliders. They took those off and they were sitting on the floor. They never put them back on. They were also a little overpriced, but I was in a hurry to sell my house. So, I had to get that done.

I had vinyl flooring put in my kitchen, living room and down the hallway. Then the next day, they came out and did the three bedrooms. They were very professional, showed up when they were supposed to and did an awesome job. They cleaned up as well. They were courteous, joked around, just a great bunch of guys. The overall quality of the product was great, too. I highly recommend them.

When we went with Empire Today the first time, they did an excellent job on the carpet. We got hardwood floors this time, and they've done another excellent job. But I didn't like the salesman because he kept dodging questions. We kept asking him about how much it was by the foot, but he kept on trying to sell us some other stuff other than what we were wanting. He was telling us, "This is the best one, and it's cheaper than those over there.” But he would never say how much it was a foot. That was shady to me. If we're asking a question, they should answer us. It's still up to us to say which ones we like and which ones we don't. He sold us a good floor, but we still don't know to this very day what it was a foot, so I don't know if we got a deal or not. But I've got friends who's got floors like this, and theirs is scarred up and messed up already, but ours isn't. We got the scratch-proof ones. The quality is excellent. Nothing is popping up or loose.

I needed to get flooring the next week, and the other vendors couldn't. I had to wait a month. Empire Today was available but I was not thrilled with my experience. The product is subpar. I don't like the flooring at all. It's a lot thinner than the other brands. The thickest that they had available for me is still super thin. I also didn't care for the people who had installed it. They used my bathroom without asking. They were smokers, and you could smell it all over them. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves but I had to tell them to fix some of the squeaky floors. I shouldn't have to tell them how to do their job. Any kind of person who's doing any kind of flooring should take pride in their work and make sure that everything's screwed down so there's no squeaking.

My experience with Empire started out great. The guy came quickly to place an order. They came quickly to put it in. They did a great job putting it in, but they sent the wrong quarter around to go with it. They put it in in January. By the middle of January, I was trying to get ahold of them to come figure out the right quarter around, and it took forever to get ahold of them. Once I did, we had it scheduled for someone to come. I had scheduled four times for someone to come. First time was a no call, no show. The second time, I got a call at 4 o'clock in the afternoon saying, "Oh, we got put on another job. We can't be there today." The third time, they sent him with the wrong quarter round. And then the fourth time, somehow the work order didn't go through right, so they weren't coming.

I purchased close to 2,000 square foot of carpet. It went smoothly. It was a good crew.

We got carpet and linoleum from Empire Today for the dining room and the living room. The sales rep was very informative. He took his time and we didn't feel rushed. He did pretty well. The flooring looks beautiful. We had it put in a rental home and the people are very happy with it. But the first time when we had the Empire come to our house to have tile floor put down in our kitchen, I wasn't happy at all. I had to stay away from them because they just smelled so bad. Then when they started to put the tile down, I've been around it enough to know they should have started at the wall and worked inward. They started in the center and by the time they got to the fireplace, it was so messed up and there were gaps.

I tried to go first through a big box store and it was a terrible experience. But it was so easy to go through Empire. The sales rep that I spoke to was really nice. She was efficient. So the process didn't drag on for hours. It was a no pressure sales. She asked me what kind of carpet I was looking for, like color and texture-wise, and she brought back some samples from her car. It was really quick and easy. The installers were very fast and efficient as well. They were very careful. One of the reasons I chose Empire is because they were able to help me move some of my furniture out of the room. They got it done in about a day. It was great. I love the carpet so much. It's so soft and fluffy, which is really what I wanted. It's so comfortable to walk on. I will absolutely use them again whenever we get to a point where we need to do additional flooring.

The sales rep was really informative. She answered all my questions that I needed answered, and we took it from there. Installation was a long day, but the guy was good. He asked all the questions about the tile that I ordered, and he showed it to me to make sure that was what I ordered before he started installation. He was cool. I had vinyl flooring put in, and so far, I'm satisfied with it.

Empire Today's website allowed me to take a picture of my house and put the flooring in on it. The rep came to our house and the presentation was excellent. I thought soup to nuts, he did everything right. I had a set amount that I was gonna spend. And his pricing was about $800 higher than what I had set. And I said, "This is what I have set aside." And they met it. So I was perfectly fine with everything. Also, the installation was professionally done. And the guys were prompt, and cleaned up any kind of mess. In six to seven hours, they were done, which was amazing. They had to move around furniture. They did a great job. Go for it.

I had Empire install carpet flooring in the past and recently, I had them install laminate floors. It was great. They did two rooms and it took five or six hours. They did two runs. It was beautiful once everything was done. I like their services, products, and how fast they get things done.

A rep came out for the presentation and she brought everything with her. She went over what they offered and all that wonderful stuff. It worked out better for me and the installation was excellent. I asked to do majority of my house. The lady told me it was gonna take two days for them to do it. The installers came in punctual at 8 o'clock in the morning and they were finished that evening. The quality of work is excellent and their manager followed up. He came by the house and left his business card to make sure that they were doing everything correctly.

Empire's pricing was good. The installers came in, they moved a couple pieces of the furniture around and installed the carpet. It was fairly quick, and the quality of work was fine.

I had hardwood flooring installed in about three rooms and the installation was done within two days. The installers had to finish the next night. People should give Empire Today a shot.

I got carpets and hardwood floor installed by Empire, and everything's very good. We like it.

We live on a lake and the laminate being water-forgiving, made some sense for us. So, we chose that for the main floor of the house, including the kitchen, the dining room and the family room. The sales rep was fantastic, very helpful and matter of fact. He measured the spaces we wanted done and showed us the various products. The installation was simple. They set a date and were here when they said they were gonna be. They got the entire job done in one day and it was fantastic. One of the guys, clearly the senior installer, was extremely talented.

The cost and just how helpful the salesman was persuaded me to go with Empire. We had laminate floors and carpet done on three bedrooms, a kitchen and two living rooms. There were a few hiccups during the installation but I’m in the service industry so I understand when things arise when you go into doing any sort of repairs. Empire was very helpful. The people who were installing it informed me what steps that we had to take so it was smooth. There were three people for the carpet and four people for the floor. The installation took a total of three days. I love the colors of the flooring. Empire Today provided very fast service and great quality of work, and was very transparent in pricing.

The installers were on time and did their work quickly. They were very professional and cleaned up very well. The laminate plank flooring from Empire Today met the expectations.

The original installers were a joke. Ruined my floor, dirtied my home, did half ** job and customer service is a joke as well as the lying salesman. They damaged my wood floors. Leaned my couch on my new 3,000 picture window, swept dirt all over my couch, walls, electronics, installed new carpet with stain and customer service is fighting me every step of the way.

Would have been nice to not have to repaint all my doors and moldings after the install. Oh and the installer conveniently forgot an air vent. Acted like I hid it or put it somewhere when he had to come back. No bro, you took the one from that room to install in another because your other guy put in in the closet shelf. All of my floor vents were full of debris from the carpet. Thanks guys.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They did not communicate at all during the process! When they showed up they increased the price of the job after tearing up my tile floor and I didn't have a choice. Did not cover my personal property like tv built into my walls, beds, countertops! Scratched all of my furniture and did nothing about it. I come home one evening to find all of my furniture outside! We live in Florida! There's at no point that's a good idea! They promise it's not third party contractors but they are! When you try and get ahold of anyone you have to leave a message because they don't really have an office anywhere. No one on this random install team spoke English so couldn't even talk to them about issues!

Overall the experience was fine. The product installed is nice. And it was on sale so overall the whole thing wasn’t a major financial setback. The sales person experience was fine. The installation timeline was accurate and work was completed. My main criticisms are there was a major mess left in my driveway where they cut all the carpeting. It was not worth my time to have the team come back to Clean because there’s no way they would’ve done it to my level of standard and it was going to rain which would’ve made all the carpet hooks nearly impossible to get out of my lawn and garden beds. It ended up being about 25 gallon buckets, full of carpet, shreds, and little loops. This not necessarily the fault of Empire rather the contracted installation team. But there should be a standard around cleanup, and it should be thorough.

Few years back we were thinking about getting new carpet for the house, we had the consultation sometime later on, long story short even though we still live in a raised ranch the quote the guy offered was $17,580. We told him no. I still remember it to this day, nearly 18 grand for a small section of house. You must be joking. Recently a carpet place moved into town. We gave them a call, same thing but quoted $1740. We said ok. 48 hours later carpet installed. Very professionally done. Yea, stay away from Empire carpet for the 900% up charge fees.

I wish I would have done more research before getting my floors done by this company. The WORSE vinyl install job I have ever seen. I have had to phone tag with them to get them to come back and fix the bad job and even when they came back, the floor still were not done correctly! It's sad that people pay good money for a messed up job. Now I have to pay more money to have my floors done correctly! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

The 1 year installation warranty means the floors will last 2 years. Vinyl tiles leak and the vinyl planks peal up. Waste of money. Warranty Claim they want $150 to “inspect” then charge for a new floor. STAY AWAY FROM EMPIRE FLOORS. Waste of time and money.

The representative showed up was rude, confusing, and condescending. She took forever to measure to get us a price so I told her we had to leave so she would have to call us with the estimate. I never heard back from her. That was two days ago.

Empire's customer service is great. Everything is wonderful.

I've used Empire in the past and was satisfied but this time around, it was the worst experience I've ever had. The salesperson did not tell me everything I needed to know. Then when I was trying to reach him to get other information or have him come back out to finish the quote, he was very nonresponsive. So, I called and tried to get somebody else. They didn't respond. So, I gave up and I went with somebody else for the second part of what I needed to do.

We had the living room and a bedroom done by Empire. We purchased vinyl and the quality of the product is way better compared to others. The techs that were in there for installation did a good job too. They also told us how to clean it and keep it looking new.

I had ceramic tiles installed by Empire Today. I had one repair that needed to be done, which was done very recently. The grout was coming loose in a major walkway. They sent the same guy out and he fixed it up very quickly and neatly and it's doing good. But there was one little thing that I was disappointed in. I didn't get any extra tiles. I got a very small piece that got a crack in it from another worker. I was having some other work done in my house and a worker hit it with a mallet and he cracked a piece of tile.

We had the vinyl plank installed by Empire Today in the dining room, living room, and down the hall. It took all day for two men to do the installation. They worked very well together and they were really efficient. We considered other brands at first but Empire was the only one that came out, sat down, and explained stuff. Their sales rep had an actual material and had three big display boards. He did good on the price, too. The new flooring has been pretty good. But I have some spots I need them to come back out and fix. It's warping.

I had Empire Today put laminate flooring in the dining room and hallway. I like the look of my new flooring and their sales rep was nice. But I did wanted luxury vinyl floors and he quickly talked me out. He just told me that the price would be higher. So I stayed with the laminate. The gentleman who came here to do the installation was nice as well. I was pleased with his work to a certain extent and he answered questions. I asked him if I should use a Swiffer to clean the flooring and he said yes. He told me not to use a mop and a broom, and that that little sweeper duster would do good. But I noticed that in my bath, the flooring was making some noise and it didn't feel comfortable when I was walking on it. Then, after the installation, I still had questions that I didn't really know I would have, so I called the corporate office. They were nice to send someone out here later to explain everything to me.

I purchased one of their laminate flooring products and the purchase process was not a good experience initially. Their salesman was not on the ball. He promised things that he didn't deliver. I was very displeased with that part of the process. But they came around. They cleaned it up and fixed it up. Then it was a good experience. The installation was excellent. The installers were on top of everything. They kept me in the loop about any particular issues. So far, it's done well. I haven't had any problems with the flooring. But it would be nice if they had a little bit more selection.

The sales rep with Empire Today was professional and had knowledge of the materials. However, the installation wasn't great. It was snowing at the time and I had to ask the install person to take off his shoes because I didn't want him coming in with the snow and going on my carpet upstairs to put the carpet. But he said he wasn't gonna take off his shoes and that I had to reschedule. He tried to talk me into going ahead with it. I had to put my own towels down all the way up the stairs. He did do a good job at the end of it but the interaction with him was terrible. I was very dissatisfied. Even the carpet that he installed got wet because of his shoes.

We wanted to re-carpet our home. After getting a quote from a box store and a private installer, we called Empire Today to set up an appointment and get a quote. The salesperson came to our home on time, brought samples, discussed pricing, and measured our square footage. He walked around our house with us and explained what we would need to do to prepare for the installation and the policies about moving furniture (which were way more flexible and giving that the box store offered). He worked up a quote that was HALF the amount of the box store quote and gave it to us before he left.

The sales rep was good. However, the installers didn't communicate a whole lot. There was a language barrier. The flooring is great but I wasn't happy with the trim pieces that they put around the fireplace. The one side is 18-inches long. They had to use two different pieces and you could see a cut line. It's also not attached all the way to the floor so every day I have to go and push it back down. One of the walls we have didn't have baseboard on it yet. I talked to the sales rep about it and he said they would leave a piece of quarter round behind. But after they left, there was nothing left behind besides a half a box of flooring. I sent an email shortly after the installation saying I wasn't happy, but nothing ever got sent back from Empire Today.

Didn’t make it past the lousy salesman. He didn’t call to find out what I was looking for. He shows up and wants to walk outside to his truck. Shows limited samples. Many not in stock. Hard to pick a carpet and pad and thickness and material and pattern from a small rectangle. Lots of spec numbers but no way to understand what I liked. Ick. Buy a showroom.

Mediocre carpet. Installation was hours late with no explanation or communication. Empire Today is now refusing to pay me the $100 owed me on my warranty which was in effect when we had the carpet cleaned. BEWARE!

We chose Empire's product because of their history and experience. We had them install flooring and we like the brand that was offered.

The sales rep of Empire was very good. The installers did a good job, too. But it was a little messy in the painted areas. I had to go back around and repaint but not uncommon. They were also very difficult to communicate with.

I would recommend Empire Today. Their presentation was very easy and there was no pressure. I had plank flooring installed and I was very pleased with it. The installers did a good job and finished in half a day.

They do not stand behind their warranty. I had engineered hardwood installed (Cambridge Hand Scrapped in Nutmeg) with a manufacturer lifetime warranty a few years ago. After about a year or two the floor chipped in one area, and few years later is now beginning to show signs of delamination and faulty coloring on a few planks. I contacted customer service and was told I would need to have an inspection done to determine the reason behind the problem.

Updated on 06/01/2024: After writing my review about Empire Today's cheap carpet and terrible service.. I was contacted by Empire Today customer service. I sent them the pictures of the problems with the carpet. They wanted $200 to fix their mistake. I refuse to lay out any money. I'll go to another carpet company and replace it rather than pay the $200 for them to fix their mistakes with their cheap carpet and terrible installation!

Please do not use Empire Today! Albany NY area. Horrible customer Service! The flooring was defective and the installation was terrible. They did not make it right! No refund and the floor was unlivable! Had to lose a lot of money & go to another flooring company!

We had carpeting installed from Empire in the living rm, hallway & 3 bedrms in 2/2020. We went with their best quality carpet & padding. The salesman, installers were great. After 3.5 years the hallway carpeting is showing signs of wear. The 2 major seams, one between the living rm & hallway & the other in a guest bedroom (that rarely gets used) have become visible. We are a household of 2. Called Empire re: the seams.. Was informed that because the carpeting was out of warranty I would have to pay a minimum of $250 for them to come out to fix the seams. Feel this is very unacceptable as we have had other carpet installations that have lasted 25+ yrs before it showed signs of wear with no visible seams! Think twice before buying from this company.

We purchased premium vinyl plank in 2018 and it is peeling in several locations already with normal foot traffic. Definitely sub-par quality. We will have to replace this flooring soon but will go to a higher quality company.

I had an appointment and the sales consultant Michael ** came back and did a good job. He was on point with his knowledge of things I did not think about. I would like for him to come back to finish the other rooms at a later date.

I should have read the reviews before contacting them. On May 9th, 2024 a representative from Empire Today (Primal **) came by my home for a scheduled appointment. He brought several carpet samples with him. I agreed to a carpet that match a color in my hardwood floors. The product, Allure-Fascinate, is brown-gold and shown in the attached contract. That carpet was to be installed in the stairway and updaters, corridors, as well as the upstairs media room. The contract price, which included a second carpet type to be installed in a bedroom, was $4500, paid in advance.

WE HAD FLOORING INSTALLED ABOUT 18 MONTHS AGO, IN OUR KITCHEN, LIVING ROOM, DINING ROOM AND ALL-SEASON ROOM. Now, we have warping, buckling and cracked corners in the flooring in the dining room. Finally, after several calls, someone did return our call and left a name and number on our voice mail along with an email. We submitted pictures and answered their questions. So now we are told the Extended Service Plan is not a warranty and does not cover anything because this was not an accident of some major event.

Empire has many different types of laminate flooring and our experience was good. The installation took one day. We had a good installer.

I had a good experience with Empire. The workers came in, they installed the floor quickly and to my satisfaction and they were in and out in no time. They were very professional. They finished in a day and they cleaned up afterwards. I was satisfied with the work that they did and very satisfied with the quality of the flooring.

A gentleman came to my house and we discussed some options. He was friendly and wanted me to know all of my options. I just wanted to get it done and once he picked up on that, he adjusted and narrowed it down for me, which I appreciated. I had the carpet on my stairwell replaced and at the bottom part of the stairwell, they didn't put the covering to finish it off. But when I pointed it out, the gentleman then did it. The carpet is perfect. I love it.

Empire was much better than the other companies we considered. Their prices were lower than I thought they would have been. The sales associate was pleasant. He laid out everything and what it was gonna cost. The guys that installed the floors helped my wife move some of the furniture around when it had to be moved though they didn't have to. They were nice about everything. We like the flooring. It has a warranty which is a good one too.

My experience with Empire was excellent. I purchased hardwood floors and the installation was all good. They did everything nice and clean. They did what I asked them to do. They didn't have any problem moving a few pieces of furniture around, so all in all, it went well.

We just purchased some vinyl plank floors from Empire Today and they did a good job. The gentlemen in the store were very nice but we had a little bit of an issue because in the beginning, their sales rep who came out was very limited on what he showed us. When they came to install the floor, before they could even put more than two planks down, we told them that it was the wrong color and it didn't look the same as the picture. So we picked out another one. But then, their rep only brought one or two books and that was all they could transport in their car. So we weren't given a big selection, but it worked out and we're happy with the floors. I also got a call yesterday from somebody from Empire looking for more business. They asked if there was any other flooring we wanted done. But we don't have any more floors to change in here and they did all our bedrooms.

Everything went well in my experience with Empire. I was satisfied with it. They did a good job so I would recommend them.

The salesperson was terrific. There was no hard sell. He had lots of samples and I was very happy with the inventory. I picked out the carpeting that I wanted and a day or two later, the installers were there. They did a good job. I had frieze carpeting done in the living room area, and the salesperson convinced me that it made more sense to use the same style and color throughout the house, so I had it installed in the master bedroom as well as the smaller bedroom. I've been very happy with Empire as I have been before. I used them previously, and I like the convenience. I like that the salesperson was very patient with me. It took a lot of time deciding on the kind of carpeting I wanted then we spent a little more time matching because I thought I was gonna have to do different colors.

The rep brought in some samples, took some measurements and gave me a quote. I like what they had to offer and the price. The installation was quick. They came and did what they were supposed to do.

Empire Today's rep was fairly new but he was fine. I wanted some Berber carpet. He didn't have any designs like that, but we're fine. The crew was very efficient.

Despite purchasing a warranty, which I believed would cover any issues for five years, I am facing a significant problem with my flooring. Recently, sections of the flooring have begun to lift, and the issue is rapidly spreading throughout my home. Upon contacting Empire Today, a representative was sent to inspect the flooring. To my dismay, it was determined that the problem was due to installer error, requiring the replacement of approximately 300 square feet of flooring. Understandably frustrated by the inconvenience of such extensive repairs, I was nonetheless relieved that a solution was in sight. However, my relief was short-lived.

The rep with Empire Today was prompt. However, the two employees who did the installation spoke no English. Though I didn't wanna make them feel second-rate because we don't share the same language, they felt a little uncomfortable when we had to pull phones out to translate. It was challenging to let them know they did a good job when they didn't speak any English. But it was great right before the holiday to be able to have somebody come out so quickly. I was very happy to be able to give them a very nice Christmas bonus as well.

I had a previous experience with Empire Today in my house in Castle Rock. I got carpet for the upstairs of a townhome this time. Purchasing was really easy. They came out, met with me on my schedule, were able to set the installation, and were on time for that. So, they were very prompt and very polite. Installation took half a day for two large rooms and a hallway. The two gentlemen who came out were on time. It was a pretty easy process. The flooring looks good.

We got laminate floors throughout almost the whole house except for the bedrooms. The installers were wonderful and the floors were beautifully done. I did some research ahead of time to make sure they were getting the pattern, and they were good. We love the floor. It is expensive and I kept battling with whether or not we could have got it done cheaper by getting a handyman. But I don't think it would have had the same result.

I would use Empire again, hoping I could have the same sales rep who was also awesome and the team that did the installation!! I’ve already recommended Empire to my friends and family. Great job!!!!

I bought flooring for a bedroom and an office. I love the product. It has good quality. The guy was great putting it in. He finished in a day. He was very professional. I'd recommend Empire.

I recommend Empire. They were very fast when they installed carpet and the product is good. I like the way it came out.

I had carpeting installed by Empire Today in the family room and I wasn't too happy with the installers. I couldn't talk to any of them. Also, the installation took a couple of hours. They put it down in pieces. It was wide enough. They could have started in front of the room, went almost halfway with it, and then took the other piece, and went the rest of the way. And there is one strip next to the wall where there's no traffic. But, they went the other way. They went from front to back. They went from the fireplace to the back wall. Then they put a strip in at the door to make it the rest of the way on the width. Also, the transition strip from the family room to the kitchen came up. Two weeks later, I had to have another crew come in and put another strip down.

I got wood floors and it doesn't look bad, but it's a lot shinier than the floor I thought I picked out. I bought Empire Today's most expensive wood floor, but I don't remember it having a sheen and this one has a sheen to it. However, they were already here with it and I needed to get it laid. We were on a short deadline to get it done. We needed to move in, so I just went with it. Besides that, Empire Today was easy to deal with and their installers were good.

I asked for a quote. The gentleman came over and gave us a quote. When I told him I had more quotes to get. His attitude changed and he became rude to us. The 50% off was only for high end carpeting and nothing else.

The installation of our flooring from Empire was great and quick. The quality of the product is good too. It was a good experience.

The floor was done professionally and I have the extended warranty, now that I need to use the warranty, Diane from the extended warranty is not returning any of my messages. The extended warranty is a scam, do not fall for the extended warranty because you will not receive service.

I had a good experience with Empire Today. They gave me a good price and a good product. Price was fair and for the quality of the product, I was happy with it. They got it done really quickly, too. I had laminate flooring put in. I wanted a color that matched the tile that was already in the house, and they were able to do that. Everything was really good. They had a good installation team, and they really worked hard together and got it done and cleaned up after.

If I could give them a zero, I would. We had a representative come out a month ago and exam our floors. He told us there would be "no problem" for them to level the floors when they put the flooring down. This past weekend we ripped up the flooring that was already there and moved everything out of the house. Empire shows up today and says they will not be able to install my floors until a general contractor has done all of the reflooring. We have a baby coming in a few months. The house is a disaster and our floors are completely ripped up. Completely unprofessional and condescending. A manager called us while the workers were there and basically didn't care saying that we should have read the fine print and not gone by what our sales rep told us. Do not use this company or else you will be left with a house house that is completely a mess.

Empire today I have a bad experience with them. They are damaged my property and I really don’t like their jobs. I never recommend to anyone. Bad customer service. Not reliable, seem good but don’t do good job.

Sales rep was great. On time, nice and professional. Was able to get floors installed quickly. However the quality of the work was not good. Quarter round not attached appropriately, left a gap between the floor and bathtub because they didn’t caulk properly, and corner pieces of quarter round are not attached. They were not careful during the removal and install and chipped paint and left gouges in my kitchen cabinets. When I complained to Empire they did not acknowledge the damage to my cabinets and ignored every mention if it and that I’d be charged to have someone come repair. I expected better service.
