Empire Today offered 75% off on their wood flooring. You can't beat that! So, I went and bought some from them. I had them installed in three bedrooms in our home and so far, it's not that easy to clean. But we like the color that our little grandson picked out for us. The installation team was also pretty good. But the first day didn't go so well. A few minutes before 8:00 that first morning that they were supposed to be here, I got the recorded message saying that the installation crew was on their way and to allow 30 minutes to an hour for travel. No more than two hours, so it should have been by 10 o'clock.
But about 10:45, I called and when I was on the phone with customer service trying to find what time they were gonna be here, they called me and said they weren't gonna show up until 1:00. They were just picking up the material. So, I spent the whole morning at home waiting. I know it was not Empire's fault, but the crew didn't come on time. Other than that, the original sales guy that came out was very nice. He was very polite and very detailed, too, and that's always a good thing.

I had wood laminate put in my great room and on my stairs going up to the second floor. I had nine stairs done. I had a bridge that walks from the staircase over to the second floor and the hallway between the bedroom and the bathroom upstairs done too. The flooring looks very nice. I am very pleased with the look and with the choice of amber walnut. But I was supposed to have something pet-friendly. It wasn’t supposed to scratch easily if my pet was on it. My dog came in one time and ran through the room. When he got to turning around, there were these deep scratches or gouges in the floor. We had to order a gate and ban him from the room. We had to put a gate to separate our great room from the foyer to the kitchen.
I called Empire Today and told them about it. I got a couple of different reference numbers for my case and nothing happened. They had the salesman eventually come out. He squatted and looked at it and shook his head. He couldn’t believe it and was amazed. I asked when will I hear from them and he said in a couple of days. I never heard back from him. I called again and that was when I got somebody who said they’d send out an inspector. The inspector came out on the 28th, and he looked at it. He took a sample and he also had this acetone product with him. He got down, took a rag, and buffed it and scrubbed it with that acetone. He put two drops down for the scratches. He rubbed, and rubbed, and rubbed, and rubbed the scratches out. I told him it was ridiculous.
He said he repaired it. I told him what he did was rub off the top layer of the laminate, and I’m still stuck with the same product throughout the rest of my house, except that he just took off the top layer, the coating for those areas where the scratches were. I took pictures of the products he used to rub it. I asked him when he left if he was gonna get back. He said he was going to in a couple of days and I didn’t hear back anything. So I called yesterday and that was when I asked to speak to a supervisor. I spoke to her and she said she was gonna refer it to a local office then I will hear back from a Mandy.
There’s no problem with the carpeting. They did an excellent job. I’m pleased with what I’ve picked. It looks good, it feels good, and the guys were good. But for the wood laminate, the guys didn’t clean up after themselves. Other than not cleaning up after themselves, I was pleased with it until I found out it scratches and it’s not what I ordered. I called Wells Fargo and put a dispute. I don’t have to pay that until it gets resolved.

The sales rep was very good and he seemed very helpful. He took his time showing us the samples and there were quite a few options. I had Empire Today install laminate flooring and carpet in my home and I like the quality. This was the second time I used them. We were happy when we used them before too.

Empire Today did the in-home, where they bring the samples in your house so you can see them, which was the main reason we bought from them. We went with the laminate wood and the customer service was great as well as the installation, up until they were missing a couple of pieces. So, the gentleman said he would talk to his boss and get them ordered and get them out, and that has been a while. They were supposed to come out today and put the pieces that were missing in, but they haven't shown up yet. So, my husband is at home waiting for them. The communication with the installers and the customers as well as with the installers and the company seemed to be a little off.

We had floors installed 2.5 years ago. We had nothing but problems with the installation. After they were installed, we noticed that our floors were coming up, so I contacted Empire and they sent a person out. We were told we had moisture problems, and that if we wanted them to fix it, we'd have to pay. We already paid $7000! We knew the floors had been installed incorrectly, so we had a third party out. They did say flooring was uneven and not properly installed. We were also told that our floors were cheap laminate and definitely NOT waterproof as the salesperson had told us. We even paid "extra" for waterproof. We contacted Empire back to no avail. I've been contacting them regularly as more flooring is coming up.
I eventually had someone call me and they sent another inspector out. He had a small level and told me that our floors were level and the flooring coming up was normal! He then agreed that something may be wrong, and agreed to re do portions of the floor. They set up an appt to come out between 8 - 10 am on a Saturday. I got everyone out of the house and waited!! Finally got a call from the inspector saying his installer was tied up on another job and they couldn't get to us!! Later that afternoon the inspector sent another installer out to see what he could do. He came in with his level, looked at the floors, and said he couldn't do anything, and that the WHOLE floor needed to be replaced! He put his level down everywhere, and it's uneven EVERYWHERE!
He went on to tell me that the reason the floors were coming up was because they were hit against each other too hard and peaked. He also said that our floors were NOT waterproof like we were told and paid for. Still my floors are not fixed. Can't reach the inspector as his message box is always full. When he calls and leaves a message, he says not all our floors need to be replaced. We've had nothing but problems from day one with the salesperson lying to us to now, yet again, no communication or help. Our floors need to be replaced with the kind of floor we paid for.

I am sending you pics I just took, you can clearly see a wear pattern. I paid almost $1100 for 2 rooms....and this is what they look like after only 14 months! I have taken the proper care measures, there are only two people in my house. I have purchased carpet for other home in the past and didn’t end up with this result. (My first Time with Empire.) I know how Empire has been in business so long....selling poor quality at a high price. I purchased with Empire because I thought I was not only getting great quality but also 100% satisfaction!? I’m not sure why I was told two different stories...it’s clear to me "No satisfaction" should be your company slogan. I will use all public consumer sites to ensure no one experiences what I did!

Updated on 07/12/2019: I received no refund even after complaining about their declining to install flooring. They said they would investigate my complaint but I had no response. To keep my deposit when they refused the installation is unconscionable. Will not do business with them in the future.
Original review: I ordered engineered hardwood flooring to be installed over a concrete slab in my home. The sales representative assured me that this installation was routine. The installers said that there was too much moisture in the slab and hardwood could not be installed. I was offered either ceramic or carpeting in its place neither of which was acceptable. I asked for a refund of my deposit on the project and was told that they would not refund my deposit. I will not recommend this company and feel that their retainer of the deposit is unconscionable.

I had carpet and laminate flooring installed by Empire in March of 2019. Start of June and a piece of trim had popped up in the middle becoming a tripping hazard in high traffic area of my home. I called to schedule an appointment to have the flooring fixed. The soonest appointment was 2 weeks away with a time window between 8am and 6pm. On the day of my appointment I received and automated call confirming the service, but no one ever showed. When I called customer service to find out what happened, I was told there was a scheduling conflict and material was unavailable for the installer (two weeks after I made the appointment, mind you).
When I was called to have the service appointment rescheduled, the next best time they could provide me was another two weeks away. I find this ridiculous and I feel that after they messed up they should have made things right by making the repair a higher priority. I now have to waste another day off to wait around at home for someone to maybe come and fix the flooring. Very frustrated customer and would not recommend Empire to anyone.

I saw Empire Today when I looked on the internet and I saw their TV commercial as well. I looked at another company but I would have to drive out to them and I didn’t wanna make that drive because it was a good 45 minutes to an hour based on traffic. Empire was a little more convenient because they came to the house. The customer service was great. I was initially gonna get hardwood and then, they showed me engineering hardwood and all the different products, so I went with the vinyl. It was within my budget. I had it installed in one room and the two gentlemen were very pleasant. They came out and did what they needed to do. It was really hot and I kept offering something to drink but they wouldn’t take any. I’m very satisfied and I would use Empire again for another room.

We had carpeting installed in the basement. We were repeat customers of Empire Today and and for this purchase, we got a home visit from their sales rep who was excellent. We're also very pleased with the quality of the product that we got from them this time and it exceeded our expectations. We had Empire's installers put it in and the installation went perfectly. All in all, Empire's reps were exactly as advertised. They came in, showed me the flooring samples, and didn't try to upsell me. They were very courteous and fair in pricing, too. Plus, they came on the allotted time that I picked out and did a great job on the installation.

I booked an Empire consultant online and she came to show us the flooring samples. I also called a local flooring company for an estimate. But Empire was a lot cheaper. Aside from the cost, time was also my consideration. The other company quoted three weeks to do the job. The installers from Empire were really fast. I got the luxury vinyl tile and had Empire do my kitchen and family room. This was done a month ago and I am pleased with the product.

We had carpet done in the living room, in the hallway, and in two bedrooms. And then we had kind of a tile product put into a family room and a kitchen. We wanted them to somewhat match and they do. It completely changed the look of the downstairs of this house. Empire Today sent out a nice group of people to do the installation. They were very efficient. They got two complete rooms finished in a day, and it was much less expensive than we had noted from many other places that we looked.
We looked at all of the major home stores that were local, and then we went to a couple of privately-owned carpet and rug stores and tile stores, and Empire still came out less expensive. We were a little surprised how thin the tile was, but it laid down beautifully and it looks terrific. We looked at many different levels of carpeting. The carpet that we got was probably less well-made as some of them that we looked at, but they also put it in an absolutely wonderful pad. So, it is a very cushioned walk when you go through the house, and it is well worth it.
The color that we were able to find that kinda matched between the tile and the carpeting helped. It was amazing from the time we bought it till the time that we were gonna have it put in because there was no time delay. They put it down so professionally. You cannot even tell that there was any cuts in the carpeting at all, which they had to do around a closet. And some different things turned out great.

Our laminate was installed in Feb. 2019. Since then the warranty department has been out 2 times. First call the crew replaced sections of the flooring that buckled but did not put in the transition strips causing moisture to get under the floor. The new flooring was installed on top of an existing hardwood floor that was not level and had 75% of the boards buckled. A warranty manager was out 1 1/2 weeks ago and we have heard nothing back from them. Very disappointed after spending so much money to make our floors beautiful and it hasn't happened yet. I do not recommend Empire Today for any of their products or services.

We purchased the house two years ago and it already had engineered hardwood in it. I called the previous owner and asked them where they got it. Then I went to Empire Today and they were able to match it exactly. I didn't want three different floors in the house, so it perfectly matched what was put in five years ago and that was nice. The quality of Empire's product was also better than the other brands I looked into though the cost was pretty much the same. Empire's sales rep was also very professional. She knew her stuff and there was no pressure. It was just right. I had the new flooring installed in all three bedrooms and two walk-in closets of our home and the installers were amazing. My husband used to build houses and I’ve dealt with a multitude of subcontractors, and for me, the installers from Empire were the best I’ve ever had install anything.

We’ve used Empire Today so many times in the past. And because we had just moved into this house and I was trying to get carpet as quickly as possible and get it in, we used them again. We did a variety of things. We did two different types of carpet, one in the basement and one upstairs. And then, we did our flooring. We tried hardwood flooring in the basement area, but we ended up going with like a laminate. The hardwood wouldn’t work.
We had gotten some other estimates, and I thought that Empire's price was not necessarily cheaper, but it was comparable with other quotes we were getting. The salesman did fine. He showed us everything we wanted to see and had some ideas. But with the installation, we had trouble with carpet in the basement, and also, with the hardwood we were trying to install, so that part was a little frustrating. We had to have some repair work done. We have radiant heating in the cement floor of the basement, and everything had been glued. They went to do like a threshold going into our storage room, and they pounded a nail with a strip in there, sort of nailing it. And they punctured the water main, so they had water going everywhere. I had to have a plumber come and fix it all, and they had to dig out the cement. It was kind of expensive. I’m hoping it gets credited because I’m out like $1,400.
I’m a little frustrated with the customer service at Empire, but I like what I ultimately got. And they were so nice. They said, “Yes, we’ll replace it for you, not a problem. We’ll refund you. Just let me know ‘cause we need to get your invoice and get it fixed.” So, I did immediately, and I couldn't get anybody to return a phone call. I tried like five times. I finally blew a fuse at them, and demanded that they credit me immediately. It was ridiculous. I thought the customer service stunk. The refund wasn’t on my last credit card statement. They were supposed to credit the credit card. And it had time to get on there, but it wasn't on there. So, I’m hoping next month it’s on there because I had to go back and try and find somebody that will help me. It’s like pulling teeth.
Empire needs to ask the right questions. Like in basement carpeting, they should ask, “Is there radiant heating? Is there anything we need to be careful of?” It’s probably not a great idea to sell hardwood floors to a basement. And somebody that’s experienced would have known that. But they tried to lay it, and it wasn't even. The cement’s not totally even, so it doesn't lay. It kinda was a salesman issue and was inexperience when they pounded the nail into the radiant heating. Still, ultimately, I like the carpet that we’ve got, and the end result has been fine.
Nancy, we apologize for your experience and understand that we have processed a reimbursement. If you continue to have questions and/or concerns please contact us at customersupport@empire-today.com.

We looked around a little bit and Empire was better. We liked the quality of the carpet and also the price. The tile that was installed was just a few pieces in front of the fireplace, and the carpet was in the dining room, living room, closet, hallway and two bedrooms. The installation team was fantastic. I was amazed at how hardworking they were, especially the carpet installers. Only two people were here to do the carpet so, for that much carpeting to be put down in just one day, it was mind-blowing for us. It was unbelievable. Plus, they moved some of the furniture for us too, so we are more than happy with it. We love the new flooring and I have recommended Empire Today several times.

We're gonna sell our house in about a year. I wanted a flooring that would resist stains better than what we previously had. Empire had a sale going when I looked online so I got our flooring from them. It was easy to schedule the installation. But unfortunately, they scratched my hardwood when they moved the furniture. It was like one big gash in one of the boards. I had asked previously for them to move the furniture if they had rollers and they said yes, but they didn’t. When they were done, they didn’t mention anything about scratching the hardwood flooring to me. I noticed it after they left.
Empire has to make sure that the company uses rollers when they move furniture so they won't scratch the hardwood again. They also might have bashed part of my wall and it has wallpaper on it. It was either them or the cleaning service that I used. So, I'm kinda disappointed with the situation of the house. They also have to inspect the premises before and after they come in the rooms that they're working on. For instance, we had some problems with plugging things into the correct outlets. At least, they had the door replaced. I was having some problems with the door, and found out one of the things they had unplugged for Empire to install, it had to be plugged into a different plug after they left. Also there was a man and a woman and the woman seemed like she was either junior or I wouldn’t say lazy, but something similar on that line. He did a lot more work than she did.
Linda, this is not how we expect our installations to go, and we'll be reaching out to you soon to work with you on a resolution.

I had a carpet installed in the bedroom of my home. The texture and the cushiness are good. I upgraded to the better foam so it's thicker. I had a small complaint after the installation was done. I'm assuming Empire Today must subcontract out and they sent one guy to do the work. He was a good worker, he worked hard, but it was just way too big of a job for one man. I paid to have the carpet rip out, dispose, and clean out, but we ended up doing the vacuuming and my son had to bring in a lot of the carpets in and pull some of the carpets out. They would need to send more than one person out if I did it again. Everything else was great though. The carpet looks and feels good.

We purchased engineered hardwood flooring through them and initially was happy with it. Maybe a year or two later the boards started to slide apart and were not locking as they should. The finish on areas that are not high traffic areas started to peel off!! We are a no pet/no shoes home and I only use the cleaner that was recommended by Empire. I called someone to come in and look at it which was not easy as they were out twice to take photographs and video of the boards just freely being pushed apart with his hands!! We have an in house humidifier and have always had our system serviced on a plan every few months. No humidity issues! The tech they sent out told me that the boards should in no way be sliding apart and not locking and the finish on the flooring had a ten year warranty and shouldn't be coming off. He took pictures of my in house humidifier and my service dates attached to the side of it.
Long story short he said he was filing the claim with the manufacturer for the finish. Over a month later we had to call them to get information on what was going on with it. Turns out the guy lied to me and filed the claim saying we had a humidity problem!! Would you be happy with their service?? We have had carpeting installed by them and have been happy with the result but we are furious that we spent thousands of dollars for this to happen and then get left with horrible looking floors!

Not only did they not install the carpet correctly, they were 6 hours late from my quoted time, they marked up my NEWLY PAINTED trim, and then proceeded to argue with me to the point that I was beginning to get afraid and just wanted them out of my house. Do not ever do business with this company!!! To make matters worse, when I called to report the installers, I was given hollow apologies, attitude for signing off on the work and was never contacted back about the horrific attitude I received from the installer. Instead I got a random phone call from someone completely oblivious to my situation and was just calling to see how my installation went?!?!
DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! I could have gotten a better installation with NO marks on my closet door for A LOT cheaper. It's one thing to make a mistake; we all do...after all we ARE human. But instead of saying "hey I'm sorry about that," I was argued with that it was not done by them when the entire room was newly repainted and still empty. Do not ever do business with this company!!! I guess he got his commission and doesn't care now that he talked us into the BEST carpet THEY OFFER for our Master Bedroom. After he left, any further communication felt like I was just a bother. We liked the convenience, the price and the customer service that the gentleman from Empire Today gave us. We've been to Lowe's and Home Depot and a couple of local places, and we had to travel to them all the time but Empire came here and showed us the samples and so forth. We were thinking about wood floors first and composite floors, and the sales guy went through the pluses and minuses of each of them, and he recommended us doing carpeting because they had several types and the traffic. He showed us one that would hold up and would be better for us, and we went with that. Then, when he told us the price, it was a no-brainer. He was very good at explaining everything as well as just his overall manner, discussing the services very well.
On the day that we arranged for the installation, we got several phone calls from Empire Today confirming it and making sure they were there. The installers called and said they had left and they would be here within the next hour, hour and a half, and showed up 45 minutes after that. We had carpeting installed in the two bedrooms in my home. It looks lovely and it’s wonderful. The two gentlemen who did the installation were very professional, very quick and did a really bang-up job in putting it in. They moved the furniture and put it back in. They were in and out. Empire Today is a very dependable company. They wanna make sure that they get the job done right and in a timely manner. I had carpeting done in 3 rooms and vinyl in my kitchen. I really like the vinyl. It’s a really beautiful pattern. It looks like tile. The carpet is really nice too. The lady who came here to sell it to me told me that the carpet is really good and it’s got a 10-year guarantee. My son spilled a large amount of pop on the floor the other night, and it didn't sink in to the carpet at all. It just lied there on top. I was able to get a paper towel and absorb it, and it cleaned up really nicely.
I’ve also dealt with Empire before and I preferred the way they do things over Home Depot which did my upstairs two years ago. Empire was pretty quick about getting the installation done and they vacuumed up everything. They were responsible. They stayed busy the whole time they were here and they acted like they really cared about doing a good job on it, and they did. They wanted to make it so it would be pleasing to me.

Empire Today did a beautiful job when I had my kitchen floor done. The workers were fabulous. But I am still dealing with them now because I was directed the wrong way when I had a piece of carpet put on my back porch. The last piece of carpet I got was one piece, and then about a three-foot with a seam and it doesn't look right. When the salesman came and I signed the contract, I wasn't aware that it was just gonna be one big piece. I'm not happy with it. My neighbor and my nephew's wife loved my kitchen floor, but they both noticed the seam of the carpet in the back porch.
The guy came yesterday to take some glue spots off, but the seam is an eyesore. I'm afraid it's gonna start fraying. But Empire Today has been responsive. They told me that the carpet was in the contract and they said they don't have sheets that are as wide as a porch. I wish they could give me a discount or a little break on the money for it. But I love the floor and they did good work. I'm just upset about the seam. Everything else was great.

I had a really high pressure sales experience with Empire Today. I started with a figure of $12,000, and I got a better price down to around $3,000. But I don’t think people should have to go through that. Also, I’m not completely enthralled with the rug. The Empire Today salesman said it was a pet-proof rug and pad. I don’t have an issue with the pad. It looked like a nice pad and it did say pet-proof on it. But with the rug, there was no indication of pet anything on it. We foster puppies, and it seems that it goes right through the rug. There doesn’t seem to be any pet barrier on it whatsoever.
When the installers were here, there were three guys that showed up and two of which didn’t speak any English. I couldn’t communicate with them. The other guy spoke broken English/Spanish, and I was able to communicate a few things to him. The other thing the salesman said was the installers only work for Empire. So I asked him if he just worked for Empire. He told me no and that they contract jobs from Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Empire. So, I didn’t like getting lied to about being specific to Empire. The salesman also said that their installers take special tests and they have to pass stringent guidelines that Empire imposes. So, that was kind of a falsehood, too.

I tried to reserve something over from Lowe’s but it looked like somebody was gonna take one week to locate and another two weeks to order. Then, I didn’t know how long it was going to take to install and I didn’t have that time. So, I went with Empire Today. I got a carpet and I had a good experience with their sales rep. Next day, when I called, he came, then they installed it the same week. So far, we like the carpet and it’s a nice make. It wasn’t that expensive and it was what we were looking for. The installation was done fast, too. All in all, Empire should just take over the business from Lowe’s.

Empire Today has plenty of options, and we purchased some laminate from them. The rep who helped us is a good salesman. She seems fair and honest-sounding. The guys who put our flooring in were really professional. I like the floor. It’s great for keeping the dust out of the house. And it looks sturdy. The only thing is the commercial is a little deceiving. When they say you could pay for one room and you get the other room free, that’s not really true, but they give you a good discount. But they gotta tell you straight-out that you have to pay for your padding, it’s limited, or that you got a certain amount that you can pay for. Other than that, they did a good job and I’m proud of it. My wife loves it.

The salesman from Empire Today was nice, very well-informed and he wanted us to buy. He obviously was a salesman but he was polished, affable and very pleasant. He showed us all the different products and explained everything to us. He was very satisfactory. The installers were great but during the course of making all the arrangements, the Empire Today people were given the wrong address and they were more than 50 miles in the wrong direction before they realized that. It wasn’t their fault. They didn't get to come till the following day but it didn't cause me any problem at all. I just felt terrible and sad because what a waste of their time and to drive that far.
I had hardwood floors installed and I had some kind of woody things in the very large living room, the hall and the two bedrooms. I didn't realize that the closets would be part of it but the guy measured them up too. I love my house, it's got seven closets but one is the pantry, which didn't get it because that's in the kitchen. The installers were totally efficient and quiet. I offered them some bottled water and they took a little lunch break. They sent the helper guy to the store, they ate quickly, and they got back to work. They couldn't have been more professional and they were very thorough.
A couple of weeks later, a couple came and put in the laminate in the bathroom. Once again, they were quick, efficient and there was no problem. Everything was fine and lovely. I would recommend Empire Today. Everything was good.

I looked at Empire Today’s website and they had the type of blinds that I wanted. I called them and the people who came out to the house were great. The salesman was good and the gentleman who came and installed the windows was fantastic. When I bought the blinds from the salesman that day, I paid it in its entirety immediately and they cashed the check right away. They told me someone would get back in touch with me within three days so, I waited till Friday. I called them and said that my account had not been entered into their system. I called three times and finally got into the system. Then, the installer came out and measured the windows, which was great. He told me it would take about two weeks because the blinds had to be custom-made.
About two weeks went by and I hadn’t heard anything so I called them again, and left a message. He called me back right away and said that the blinds just came in. They came out three days later to install them. Overall, I’m satisfied, except that it took nine days for it to get in the system and I don’t understand. Other than that, everything was fine.

I bought laminate floors and the border from Empire Today, and it was installed in the living room, the hallway and the dining room. I like the ease of cleaning and I just use the special stuff. The installation went very well and the installers came on time and did the work. They explained things as they were doing it. Preparing the floor, they told me what to expect and what they had to do. They moved things around and got the house in order. I had no complaints with the work and the way it was done. Empire Today has a lot of commercials, and I knew somebody who had a floor put in and they noted it on Facebook that they were happy with the job. We had one local hardwood guy come out and he wasn’t gonna move furniture so when Empire came in and said they would do all that, we went with them. I bought Armstrong hardwood and it’s supposed to be guaranteed forever for finishes.
The sales guy was great and he was very nice. He sat with us for quite a while and we went over a couple of different products. Then, the two installers were extremely good. I changed my install date because my furniture was gonna be all new, so the flooring install was dependent on the furniture delivery. So, they worked very seamlessly with that and we were able to change dates easily, so that was a huge thing. Once the furniture went out, it wasn’t coming back in. We also needed to beef up our sub floor so the installation took a day longer than expected but that was something we couldn't see because we had carpeting down. We had the flooring put in at the end of May and it just requires vacuuming then mopping up like any other wood floor.

It was gonna be done in one day and they had availability to be done when it was convenient for us. So it worked out. The boys who came were young and they did surprisingly well. They were respectful, quiet and neat. They cleaned up after themselves and it was quick. They did their job while they were there and they were in and out. It was not much of a headache at all. It was a good experience overall. The carpet looks good too. I have a lot of friends who are buying or investing homes and I always recommend Empire.

I've tried to hire Empire Today for two jobs. For the job that they completed, everything went perfect. I bought some carpet from them and they did 5 rooms. They showed up on time and got it done on time. It was a very smooth and quick transaction. Everyone was polite which is why I tried to use them again for the entire house. They finally came out and measured. But now, I can't get the guy to get me a call back. It's been weeks and he doesn't really respond. It's irritating 'cause I have other things to do than chase somebody down. I'm a single mom with 5 kids so I really don't have time for hiccups.
I was actually not going to use them because I just read of bunch of bad reviews and there weren't very many good ones. But I ended up using them because of people that I knew that I talked to. They all said their experiences were very good and that they may be a little bit more pricey, but it's worth it because it's like a one-stop shop and everything is handled for you.

They did the job really well, and cleaned up afterwards. The carpet was put in correctly with no seams. Everything is cleared, and it is pretty flush against the wall. We had been researching flooring for our home and finally settled on Empire Today highly due to the buy 1 room get the other rooms for $50 because we had a living room, 3 bedrooms, hallways, & kitchen to do. I made an appointment for the free in home estimate and was pleasantly surprised on just how helpful he was. He assured me that our project that was well worth of $11,000 would be completed in 2 days or less. They like to under promise and over deliver. His words exactly. So we made arrangements to have our kids and dog out of the house for 2 days to get the work done. Fast forward to install day, after spending 2 weeks prepping our house for the work we were finally ready. I took off work for 2 days so I could be home. Keeping in mind, if I don't work I don't get paid. I got a call on the 1st install day at 8:15am stating our installers would arrive by noon.
At 12:15 with no installers in sight and no call I called to check on the ETA of the installers. The customer service rep, can't remember her name, was rude and laughed at me when I asked why they had not called to let me know they were running late. She called the installers and they said they would be to my house by 1:30pm. So I waited, an hour later at 1:15pm she called me back and let me know that they would now not be coming at all today. When she asked me about rescheduling I told her that was not possible. We had kids & a dog coming home Friday afternoon and family coming in from out of town on Monday. It had to get done ASAP. She said they would be able to come on Friday and get both our laminate and vinyl tile done in 1 day. So now on Friday I get a call at 7am stating they would be there within 2 hours. Great I thought.
At 9:30am with no installers in sight I called again to see where they were. I find out they will not be to my house until 10:30am. When the installers finally arrived only 1 of them spoke English and when I asked about getting the entire project done in 1 day with only 3 guys he laughed and said, "No. We will be back on Saturday." That was not acceptable to me, but I had to take it. We were between a rock and a hard place at this point. I called our sales rep and he of course didn't do anything, but he did say he would lobby for a 30% discount. I called Customer Service to open a discount ticket and they were somewhat helpful. Gave me the reference numbers and said someone would call me within 3-5 business days. It is now 2 weeks later and no call.
So I called today to get the status. I was hung up on 2 times and when I finally got through to someone, I find out that our discount tickets had been closed because the project was completed. So I had to open yet another set of tickets and supposedly someone will call me back within 24 business hours. I'll believe that when I see it. I work and live in a very small community and we all talk about services and ask each other for advice. I will not be telling anyone to ever call Empire Today to install any type of flooring. It was by far the worst home project experience I have ever had. I wouldn't even give them 1 star, but I had to in order to give a review. Completely disappointed.

I was delighted that a sales rep would come out so promptly. I am an Interior designer from UK so no experience with USA companies. I asked the rep to look at 50 sq feet of carpeting, tiny seating area... without measuring or showing me samples he just muttered $500. Hmmm already losing confidence so we moved onto the wooden floor area. I had already measured up. Total sg footage is 370 sq feet. He told me it was 470 Sq feet. I asked him how he got to that. "20 % wastage" he muttered. Well my maths tells me that 370 sq feet +20% is 444 sq feet. The wastage percentage generally applied is 10% not 20%. Of course I have had other quotes and they agreed with me and were based on a measure of 370 sq feet + 10% totaling 407 square feet, not 470.
I was then presented with 3 sample boards so about 21 samples in total (my email said 100's). The quality was shocking. I wasn't told what it was. I had asked for a vinyl board but this could have been painted chip board for all I know. The rep sat there and calculated out a price, with no breakdown of costs, taxes etc. I forget the exact number but to the nearest thousand dollars it was $11,000 and $500 for the carpet but he was going to give me 50% discount... Lucky me. So now a total of $5,500. "No thank you" I said " that is too much". "Oh" he says "let me phone my manager and see what we can do".... Pleeeease I thought this hards ell trick went out in the 1950's! Fortunately for me he went out the car to make the call, so I scooped up his 3 sample boards and briefcase and put them on the doorstep. I was scared that if he got back into the house I would never be able to get him out.
"$500 discount " he muttered on the doorstep. So I'm now down to around $5,000 for a product which is totally unknown to me, vinyl, engineered solid wood, no idea and it looks like rubbish. "Sadly" I say " I've had 2 quotes for around $3,000" and I watch him shuffle off down the path. The thing is his heart wasn't in it either, he knows that the prices are double, never mind the incorrect measuring which is 65 sq feet out, which is why he didn't even bother to try and sell the product. He used a laser, if you want to be accurate use an old fashioned tape measure. I'm from the UK. In the UK I would be reporting this company to the our Trading standard**ndsmun for sharp practice. So buyer beware, in my humble opinion as an Interior designer you are getting half the quality for twice the price.

The installation team was awesome and I would like to thank them because they were so professional. I thought it was gonna be a headache but it was far from that. They brought down my furniture super-fast and moved it down the stairs without dinging up my walls. They were very polite and they worked hard. I liked the color and the texture of the carpets, and it exceeded my expectations. I appreciate that they cleaned up after themselves and they took all the instruments and the extra materials. Everything with Empire Today went smoothly. The guy that put the carpet in did a good job. We were very pleased. We've got wood floors, and it was put in the steps. They were old steps, and I really didn't wanna do that, but my daughter and grandchild came down, and he slipped on the steps. He went down on his back, and I thought that child broke his back. And so I said, "That's it. I'm calling to get carpet put over." You can slip on carpet, but it's not as easy. I don't like the looks of it, though because I like the old, but it's safety that matters.
My husband was over here when the carpet man came and he picked it out with him, and it's not what I would've picked out. What he did was bring the same brand that was that cheap stuff upstairs. But then, he brought one that was two steps up. That stuff upstairs was like $2. I could've killed him. I said, "What in the world?" I don't want carpet this small when I fold it and I like to upgrade my padding. And it was so funny, when I asked the guy if it is cheap carpet, he said, "Yup." But we got good service and we're happy.
I talked to one of the decorators there, Tracy, and she was telling me we're having this black stuff that's popping up all over the carpet and the doors, and nobody really knows what it is. But it seems like it's coming from the heat pump. So, we asked somebody to clean it, and my husband got in there and cleaned it and got it out as best he could, and we're waiting to see if it's gonna come back. If it does, we'd zap the carpet again.
Empire's salesman was really nice and very helpful. And we don't have any complaints. Also, we paid the guys to stretch the carpet for us upstairs. I'm in a situation where I got crippled and I'm not walking good. So, with them coming out here, it was so much easier for me. And we were pleased with the whole thing around. I'd use Empire again.

We inquired with them about it but we weren’t offered that. The rep said that it was just something to get him in the house. The guy who came out and did everything was nice and we asked him about the advertisement and he said that it was to get us to come out. Then, the guy who did the hardwood floor said that he needed to call us first and so, we just said, “Forget it,” because we knew nothing would ever come out of it anyway. If someone would ask me, I’m gonna tell them that that offer to “Get one room done and the other room free” is not true.
I had the laminate floors installed in the living room and the carpet in the den. The guys did a good job and they were great. They cleaned up their mess. The floor is nice and it looks better. We had them put in vinyl flooring in every room in my house, including three bedrooms, two baths, closet, hallway, and the kitchen. I was a little upset when the installation team first came out because there were only two gentlemen. I was told that the installation would take one day. And if it were going to be more than one day, they would notify us ahead of time. Our dogs are house dogs and they cannot be left out in the heat for extended period. I had made arrangements with my neighbor for that Saturday. But the installation was not gonna be one day since Empire only sent out two guys. Some friends of mine used Empire so I figured I would go with them too. Their prices were reasonable. A sales guy came to show me the carpet samples and he showed me the top-of-the-line, the center one, and the end ones. I told him I wouldn't really need anything top-of-the-line because it wouldn't be like I have heavy traffic. It’s only me up there and I have no dogs or children. I didn't want the low-grade carpet either. In the end, I went with the in-between. It was just as nice as the high-grade one.
The installers came on time and they laid everything down. They were clean and neat about everything. They were very good. Everything just ran so smoothly and nicely. There was a guy who was always watching an installer do things like how he cut the old carpet. They rolled it up and they brought it outside to the curb. I could see how the guy had experience in doing that. He kinda laid the carpet down himself and these were in big rooms. My living room and dining were also L-shaped. The work took three hours which was expected. The guy did what he had to do. Everything that Empire did was the way it should have been done. In the end, a girl vacuumed which was sweet.
As soon as I got my statement with Empire, I said I would be paying it off probably full by next month. Other than that, I love my carpet. I would recommend Empire to somebody who is looking to get either floors or rugs. I didn’t go with the wooden floors because it was a little bit pricey and I was on a budget. But I’m glad I opted for the carpets.

We picked a crushed tile type of laminate and it's fantastic. They installed the flooring and cleaned up after themselves. Also, our floor is not as level as we would like it to be. This is the second time using Empire. The first time they were prompt and courteous and installed the product (luxury vinyl plank flooring) in two rooms. It was a great experience. The second experience the salesman says he can match the plank flooring with a similar product. What he should have told us was that he could not match that flooring. If we wanted that flooring we should have done less rooms if doing all the rooms were cost prohibitive. Kudos to the installers. On day two of the installation and day three of installation they noticed huge color variances that did not match what was sent nor what we were trying to match. On day two installers went back to get new materials since this was not a batch materials mistake. Same problem continued on day three and the installer supervisor comes to look at the issue.
Finally, I was told Empire would call me and the salesman who sold us the flooring would call. I spoke to customer service (basically took my complaint). Never spoke to salesperson. It's been 5 days. Old carpet remains in my front yard, baseboards in my backyard, mastek on floors but nothing else. Best of all they have my money and won't communicate with me.

Also, we're in Waco and though there are smaller companies that are able to do carpet install, most of them have to come out of the city to do that.
The rep was wonderful. She walked me through the whole thing and she was really thorough. Then the two men that came to do the install did an amazing job. They were in and out very quickly. I do work remotely from home and they were very kind to be thinking of that and tried to be as little distractive as possible. They did a great job. They installed carpeting in three bedrooms and it looks great. It's been low traffic within the home since the install but it seems to be holding up very well.

In 2018, we hired Empire Today to install a carpet in a large, 2-room basement area of the empty home we’d just purchased. The installers charged us $600 for new padding, but never installed the padding. They put new carpet over the old padding and kept our money. We discovered this the following winter, when water damage forced us to pull up a small section of the new carpet. Empire informed us that the entire carpet needed to be replaced if we wanted to keep our warranty. This was a huge problem because the basement was now fully-furnished and contained over $50,000 of fragile electronic equipment which would have to be moved. After a fight, Empire agreed to do the re-installation for free.
Since we didn’t trust a carpet crew to move the very expensive equipment while they worked, we agreed on a 2-day installation. We would clear one room for them on day 1, then move all of the equipment to the first room, clearing the second room for them to work before they arrived on day 2. No problem. They arrived on day 1 and completed the first room, but they didn’t leave. The carpet crew proceeded to move all of that equipment themselves and finish the second room, completing the job in 1 day for their own convenience. I discovered this only when they were nearly finished. I yelled for them to stop but the foreman literally refused. It was very difficult to communicate with them, they spoke broken English or none at all. Frustrated, I resigned to let them finish the job.
The crew left our belongings in large, disorganized piles throughout the basement, some of which fell over and collapsed. I photographed all of it and notified the company the same day. After several days of inventorying the mess, I discovered several thousand dollars in damages to equipment and furniture. The job itself was notably poorer than the first installation but that’s the least of our concerns, and we’re not allowing this company back into our home for repairs. The company was completely unresponsive to phone calls and emails for weeks at a time. It’s very important to persist throughout this period, which appears to be this company’s standard operating procedure for claims and complaints. It’s now been months and this company continues to deny any wrongdoing – but they’ve offered us a small monetary fraction of the damages “for inconveniences.”
The crew has lied about their conduct and misrepresented the condition of our home in their photographs, using “after” photos as “before” photos (yet neglecting to provide both sets for us). We have photo proof to the contrary, of course, and this will be an easy case in court. But the negligence, fraud, theft and destruction for which Empire Today has been responsible throughout this 10-month ordeal has been tremendously frustrating for us. Find a local crew for your flooring, stay away from Empire.

After many calls and lots of voice calls another day was given for 1st install of the day given by the general manager. Again no show. After hours of waiting finally got a call from the installation person saying they were in the way 10am.. Almost 3 PM they show up. 630 finish.. My grandson who works for Empire is happy doing what he was doing and so I decided I'm gonna give it a try. I asked him to come and show me some samples of kitchen stuff for the kitchen floor. He did that and I picked out something I wanted. Within a couple of weeks, someone came out and installed carpet in our foyer. It's absolutely beautiful and we have gotten nothing but compliments. I love the design and it makes our kitchen look bigger. I'm very happy with it and we'll call Empire again when we wanna have something done upstairs. I would also recommend them to a friend. In fact, our neighbor next door had Empire do her family room about four years ago. She had me come over and look at it. I like it and the way it looked. That was also a deciding factor for me because she was happy with it.

Empire Today put down the original floor and I had to have a little more flooring to it because we moved some stuff out of there. So, it was just a little quick patch job they did. We got vinyl tiles and it worked out good because there was a minimum amount I could get to have them come out and do it. Everybody at Empire Today were all very professional, knew what they were doing and took care of it. I didn’t have them that long. They boop, boop, done, and choo, out of there.

Empire Today installed laminate flooring throughout my whole house except for my master bedroom. I love that it makes the whole house look different. But when it came down to a spot on our hallway, we didn't want them to put a door thing because there wasn't a door there. We wanted to continue the way and they gave us all kinds of excuses why they couldn't do it. In the end, it affected the look. Although they didn't do what I asked them to do, I would still recommend them because they did a wonderful job on the floor.

We have Empire Today carpeting at our family room by recommendation of our neighbor. We were impressed with the salesman that came out and laid it all for us and gave us everything we needed to know. It was a slam dunk thing. We had a bedroom that had existing carpeting and they matched it, as far as we’re concerned, perfectly. I expected to have to vacuum right after, but then they had all that done. In fact, we were so pleased with the two installers that we gave them a tip. We were completely satisfied.

Updated on 06/29/2019: I'm writing this as a follow up to my last review about this company. When I posted the last review two weeks ago, stating the deficient workmanship and horrible customer service, they immediately called my wife, offering to review the problem and told her someone would contact her to resolve the issue. But, just as I figured, this was just another attempt to try and pacify us into letting this go so they could "sweep in under the rug". So, as a dedicated consumer and responsible business owner, I've decided keep posting updates and let the public know if this company actually cares about their customers and follows up with their projects.
So far, they've done nothing to resolve this issue, and from what I've read from other customers, they don't seem to take ANY responsibility towards their dissatisfied customers. I've repaired their problem at my own cost, which was more than what I paid them to begin with. I'm posting this (2nd) review on this site as well as all other sites that advertise their services. I've been asked by my own customers, for flooring referrals, and I tell them to stay FAR AWAY from Empire Today. Please look for my updated reviews, as I plan on being persistent with my opinions about this low grade company.
Original review: First of all, I want to say that I’ve been in the building trades for 45 years, and have been contractor for the last 24. So I’m not naive when it comes to any type of home improvement project, or my expectations of the final results. When my wife and I moved into our new home in November of 2016, the first thing we decided to do was replace the old flooring in our (very small) kitchen, laundry and 2 small baths. I asked my wife to look up some local flooring companies so we could get estimates for the work. Empire Today sent one of their reps to give us an estimate. The cost was $2,000.00. It seemed a bit pricey, but their assurance of the outcome of the project seemed reasonable. Although they were the highest bid, I didn’t mind paying more for good work.
About 2 weeks later, 2 men showed up to do the job. My first impression was that they didn’t look all that professional in their appearance, but nonetheless, they started the job with no problems. I was away at job sites all day and my wife was in & out as we were moving while the work was done. When I arrived home later that afternoon, the first thing I noticed was quite a few cigarette buts in my driveway and in our landscaping. I went in to see the project, and the guys were wrapping up. The floor looked good, but there were blemishes, dirt and floor glue in several areas of our newly painted walls. When I confronted them about this, they said, “Oh, that will come right off with some household cleaner”. I know better, but figured I would simply let them go since the work was finished and I didn't feel like carrying on with conversation. On leaving, I asked one of the workers, “How long have you been working for Empire Today?”
He said, “Oh, we don’t work for Empire Today, we’re sub-contractors and this is the first job we’ve ever done for them”. That was a red flag to me. As I later researched Empire Today, I came to learn that they are NOT a local company at all, and they sub-contract all their work. Since we reside in Sonoma County (Nor-Cal), I thought we were dealing with Empire Floors, a local, reputable company. Two years later, I started realizing the floor in our 1/2 bath was feeling soft and there was a lot of movement in the toilet. I climbed under the house to find that the subfloor was completely saturated and water was leaking under the entire floor in that area. We hired another contractor to check it out. He removed the toilet and discovered that the wax seal was never replaced from when the flooring was installed, and was not seated properly causing water to leak throughout the floor for over two years.
I called Empire Today to discuss this, and they said they would get back to me. When I finally received a call back (2 weeks later on a Sunday morning), I spoke with Ryan, and I explained the details of this problem. He said that they were not responsible because the 2 week warranty period had expired. I got angry and told him that was unacceptable. The work was not done correctly and there was no way we could possibly have known that within a 2 week period. He told me he would speak with his supervisor and get back to me. I waited 2 more weeks and no contact. I called back his number and left a message saying I wanted to resolve this, and no reply. It has now been 4 weeks and no results, no call back.
We paid Empire Today $2000.00 to install the flooring, and It has cost me $2,600.00 to repair their mistake and re-install the flooring in our 1/2 bath and laundry areas, which required completely removing the old flooring, underlayment and installing all new. Being a contractor/business owner myself, I take a lot of pride in our work and how we handle problems that arise. We ALWAYS take care of our customer’s concerns and do whatever it takes to assure a happy client. Empire Today has shown me that they are a totally dishonest and irresponsible company and should not be deceiving people with unprofessional work. I’m writing this now, but will pursue legal action from here. If I don’t get results, I will continue to spread their bad name to all my fellow contractors and clients, because I feel that a company that operates without good ethics should not be in business.
Bill, we're sorry to hear that you feel this way. We've located your account, and will be looking into your concerns. Thank you!

The installers were the best part of Empire's deal and I was very pleased. They were clean and they did a beautiful job. They also helped with the house back in Florida. Everything was very good.
Reviewed June 13, 2019
I had Empire do carpeting and laminate floor in my two bedrooms, loft, and two staircases - one staircase going to the loft and one staircase coming up into the townhouse. This was a couple of weeks ago. The carpet is called Moonbeam and it's lovely carpeting. The quality is very good. However, I just got a total bill and did not get a breakdown. I called Empire and they told me they don't give breakdowns. Not giving a breakdown to me means maybe they took the rest home. A guy wanted to take the leftover material from the loft and I said to him I wanted that. I paid for it.
If you buy a length of carpet, the width is always 12 feet. That's how they run. I was assuming that I have a lot left over. Not that I need all of that, but I thought they'd be enough to at least do the little foyer. I'm in a townhouse and I live on the second floor. This is not a private house. There's a small little foyer when you come in. It's maybe 5x5. With the carpet I got, I only got enough to do the staircase and there was this tiny little strip left. If the carpet is sold in 12-foot width, they only used about 3 feet of it. I'm roughly guessing the staircase is not even 30x30. I asked the installer where the rest of the carpet was and he said that was all there was. He left. I'm really not happy. I don't know what I paid for and I'm very annoyed.
The salesman gave me a blanket price which I thought was quite kind of high. He was a fast-talking salesman that reminded me of a used car salesman. I told him that. He said to me that it all came down to $12,000. But they were not carpeting the White House. It's a condo and the rooms are not that big. He told me he would talk to his manager to see what he could do. This is exactly what a used car salesman does. They go to their manager and shoot the breeze. In the end, the price came down to almost $5,000.
But I just moved in and I needed the job done. I thought the salesman did bring samples to me and Empire advertised on TV that for one room, you get the other room for $50. But the salesman said that was just one style of carpet. That's like one quality of carpet. It was not good. Therefore, it was false advertising. Overall, the installers did a very good job but I don't like the Empire company. I would never use them again and I'm telling all my friends.
Patricia, thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We'll be looking into your concerns and will be in touch with you soon.

I saw a coupon for 75% off and have seen commercials about Empire. I was looking to do laminate in 2 rooms, which was advertised as part of the 75% deal, as long as I schedule free estimate on that day. I scheduled my estimate for 6/11 between 5pm-7pm. Mind you in preparation it says to clear your rooms, so I did just that. 7:11pm, no one showed up, so I called and the customer service lady said, "oh yeah well there were no sales representatives available for that time". Ok, so why did I get a confirmation email of my appointment being confirmed and on top of why did no one notify me about a schedule conflict? She asked if I wanted to reschedule my appointment and for a second I thought, hmm this is not a good sign.
They can't even get this right, but she ensured that this would not happened again and any times after 1pm the next day there was availability, so I agreed (since I already moved my furniture for the first appointment). So, she set me up with an appointment for 6/12 again 5pm-7pm. Well, what do you know, 7:00pm rolls around and no show and no call again. I couldn't believe it. I called customer service and she apologized saying the same thing, that there was a scheduling conflict. I asked the same question - Why couldn't anyone call me? She had no answers, except an apology. She did offer me $50 off my price, that I didn't even have yet mind you...
I told her to forget it and "the only reason why I was calling was out of respect, to let you know they didn't show up and notify you that there seems to be a real problem with your system." I'm glad in the long run this happened because all that time waiting for my free estimate I spent looking at the reviews online and every other comment seems to be about installation being a nightmare, by either not showing up or sub par work. Maybe, they just didn't want my business because it was only 2 rooms with laminate I was requesting. However, my neighbor was excited when I told him I had someone coming out because he was looking to do hardwoods in his whole house and wanted to talk with the sales representative. Not anymore...

By far the worst company to deal with and this is why. I have them doing a huge job in my newly purchased home which is an older house. It was $15,000+ in work and this is how they handled the job. I had my carpets installed last week and it went fine but I’ve noticed that there are tacks that I can still feel when I’m walking on the carpet. The big major issue that I’m having today is at the time of my install they were doing vinyl flooring in the kitchen and bathroom and hardwood flooring in my living room. They started in the kitchen/laundry room area (thank god) and ripped up the carpet that was in there and began to rip up the linoleum flooring and noticed there was a small section of rotting on the subflooring.
I work in property management and spoke to several contractors and they all reassured me it was not a difficult fix in fact a very quick fix and the vinyl could have been easily still installed. Once they saw the rotting AFTER ripping everything up they told me they couldn’t proceed with the job and couldn’t put the flooring I originally had back down and their managers did nothing to help me and in fact said it wasn’t their problem and I’m ** out of luck. I’ve been on the phone all day with manager after manager and had to start recording our conversations because they continued to be unprofessional and had no desire to help me keep their business. It was a battle to cancel the services and get my deposit back for the hardwood flooring and I was told I wouldn’t be getting my money back for the “work” they did today.
For the amount of money they want me to pay for the work I’ve received I’m extremely disappointed and I do not recommend empire to ANYONE. They will not complete the work if you need to get a general contractor and they will not put your flooring back down. The 2 managers I spoke with were so rude to me and basically told me to cut my losses and the one rep I spoke to never got back to me and now I have no new floors and a mess in my laundry room and ripped up floors I have to look at until I get the work done myself.
Gloria, this is not how we wish our installations to go, and we sincerely apologize for your experience. We'll be in touch with you shortly to discuss your concerns and start working on a resolution.

The installers from Empire Today did a fabulous job and they were phenomenal. The workmanship was perfect so, I'm extremely pleased with that. But I have to call customer service. When the contract that I signed was sent, there were no prices next to each room. It was just the total. There was a special going on at that time. That was one room for full price or regular price and each subsequent room was $50. Those are now installed but six rooms of carpet and pad was almost $6,500. I should have had the salesman explain that to me. I'm single and I do this by myself all the time. I don't know why I didn’t question it and I said okay. He at one point said that I was saving $4,000. Two carpets, three bedrooms, a very small family room, living room and a hall would have been over $10,000.
There was a commercial, which was how I learned about the one room at full price and my kitchen area was $2,300. That was the planking. They do have 30 years warranty and if something happens, they’ll come out at your home. The pad is good but it cost me $8,700. It seems like a lot of money. Also, they required deposit and I paid half. The deposit was applied to the carpet and the next day, I had to come up with another $2,300 to pay for the kitchen floor. That was not explained. They use digital to measure and so, they have exact measurements. They asked if I wanted the extra carpet or the left-over carpet and I said, “Sure”. I could carpet another whole room with the amount of carpet they left. They apparently charge you and purchase an excessive amount of carpet. So, that’s also a problem.

She tells us, "oh, you'll save a lot money." Yes, saving a lot of money is twice what we told her we could spend. We end up with the carpeting we can afford when I threaten to throw her out of the house. Fast forward a couple of weeks later, the carpeters appear an hour late (yes, they phoned) and tell me the estimator was not only four-feet short on the room sizes, but neglected to include the stairs listed as "other" on our contract -- not stairs. Was this her first day on the job?
Anyway, I take a day off, move books and other property downstairs, move and cage animals. For what?? Nothing. Their business claims they'll make this right. I don't see how. One guy came to install that carpet all by himself. I had to help him move the furniture out of the room, and that’s not what Lawrence said was gonna happen. Lawrence said they would come, move the furniture out of the room, put the carpet and move the furniture back in the room. That didn’t happen.
We got garbage for a product and we’re very unhappy with it. The carpet is wafer thin. When he installed it, where it matches up to the tile in our bathroom, the grout is visible because the carpet is so thin. Our cleaning lady ran the vacuum over that seam and it ripped. It tangled all up in the vacuum cleaner and damaged it. And now, there’s a big gap all the way across.
I’m still waiting for Lawrence. We also talked to Steve in service. Someone came out and looked at it on the 10th, but we haven’t heard a word from anybody. They’re supposed to be replacing that carpet. Lawrence was supposed to call me back, come out and show me samples of what they could replace it with, and I haven’t heard from him all week. They ought to follow up on what they’re supposed to do. My floor was done 3 weeks ago and I have still yet to receive an email or phone call to get my flooring on my step fixed.

First off they're overpriced for the product they offer. Secondly they use outside contractors to install their products that can careless about what condition they leave your home in. I'm not sure if they are even licensed. One of my appliances was damaged with a sharp object and I was told, "Will give you a hundred dollars for the damage that we're not admitting to because you can't prove they did it plus the contractors said it was already there." Like they really going to tell the truth! Still waiting for this nightmare to be over, they brought out the wrong carpet for my master bedroom. Since we had to clear out the room we have been sleeping on the floor for a week now!

TLDR: Bad products, even worse customer service. Shop at Home Depot or Lowe's. You might pay a tad bit more, but at least you'll get good customer service. Long Version: I replaced my 6+ yr old carpet with new carpet from Empire in September 2018. I told the sales rep I have kids, pets, and needed a high traffic carpet with a good warranty. He sold me a product and told me it had a 10 yr warranty that would cover high traffic, stains, etc., and would be replaced for free.
By January of 2019, the carpet was looking crushed, discolored, and showing other signs of degradation (and padding was flat, uneven, and bumpy). By March, it was worse and I decided to file a claim. I reached out to customer service to request the warranty information. After 3 calls, I finally got an email with the info. It stated I needed to have my carpets professionally cleaned at least once a year. So I paid Sears to come out and clean my entire house on May 3rd. After 48 hours, the carpet went right back to looking as bad as the carpet I replaced it with (the 6+ yr old carpet).
I called into customer service and was told they would send someone out to take pictures and would call me back once they receive the photos. A week later, 2 gentlemen showed up, took photos, admitted that the carpet looked bad, and left. I waited for 10 days and still did not get a call. Finally, I called into customer service to check the status. I was told that they sent me a letter. It's 2019, they have my cell number and my email. But they chose to send me a letter through the mail asking for documentation showing I got the carpet professionally cleaned. I asked where to send it and was told she would fill out a form to have someone call me in a couple of days to tell me where to send it. That's right: Fill out a FORM to have someone call me to tell me where to send my documents so they could review them to call me back even later.
So obviously I told them that was unacceptable. The rep called my claim handler and left a voicemail. To their credit, they called me about an hour later. She gave me her email, I emailed her the professional cleaning receipt. I waited for 24 hours and after not getting a response, emailed the representative to check the status. I received this very professional response this morning: "All I know was that you was supposed to have your carpet professional clean." So at this point, it's transparently obvious Empire Today will not stand by their products. Not YEARS later. Less than 9 months later. 10 yr warranty. Product didn't last a tenth of that time. So I suggest you shop at Home Depot or Lowe's or ANYWHERE else.
Michael, we understand your frustration and sincerely regret to hear that your carpet is not meeting your expectations. We've located your order, and will be looking into your concerns right away.

We had Empire Today install a carpet and some linoleum in the kitchen. They took a little bit longer than they anticipated. They put the floor in the kitchen and they had to raise it up a quarter-inch with quarter-inch plywood, so the molding that went around the baseboards doesn’t meet up anymore. It’s a quarter-inch off and we’re still trying to get it rectified. Still, we like the colors of both the carpet and the new floor in the kitchen. The cost compares fairly well with the quality and we're happy with that. We got a thicker carpet pad in the living room. So, my wife is pleased with that. The experience went smoothly and everything went fairly well.

I had my old carpet and laminate flooring removed, and LVP placed in the upstairs and part of downstairs. There was some issues with my subflooring upstairs, so after some calls to the company, and the salesman, the installer got the go ahead to lay new plywood, and then the flooring. Downstairs, my kitchen, foyer, and bathroom/washer/dryer hallway could not be done because the ceramic tile take-up was going to be a big problem! So no new flooring there, plus no labor for the tile removal, and moving of all the appliances. My salesman, over the phone, told me the company would owe me money because of the difference from what didn't get done, to the plywood subfloor getting laid.
You guessed it, after chasing down the final "adjustment", it was a "wash"! Really! All the work that didn't have to get done, to laying down pieces of the wood upstairs, all equals out! My fault for not waiting for the official total from the company, but sad, business practice to screw the buyer! Lesson learned! FYI, the flooring that did get laid does look great! Too bad the company's business practices leave a very bad taste in my mouth!
Patricia, we’re sorry to hear this. We’ll be reaching out to you shortly to discuss this matter further.

About five years ago, the living room and the master bedroom had carpets from Empire Today, and my carpets still look good. Outside of a couple of times, I’ve had somebody come in and stretch it because hard carpets ripple once in a while. This is the second time that we bought carpets from Empire Today and everything was wonderful. I had the Berber carpet put in the computer room and the spare bedroom. I thought the young people came to do paperwork but they came to lay the carpets. When they came in, they were very sweet and they were very considerate. They did a professional job. They moved all the furniture out of the rooms and it was great. They even fixed a futon. I had it down flat because it wouldn’t go up for me, but they put it in a couch position for me and that was wonderful.
The carpet was a little more expensive than I thought it was gonna be. It was advertised on TV that if you buy one room, the next room is $50. That was not true. The gentleman said that it was not really $50. The padding and the labor was extra. So, those two rooms that are not really big cost $1,700 but the Berber was really good. I wanted wood in the beginning but he said that it was gonna cost a lot more. So, we went with Berber and I’m glad that it is in because I like it a lot better than the wood.

My installation of Laminate Flooring was confirmed as One-Day event. The installer arrived at 10am, not 8am. At this point a 2nd day was required. The 2nd day, the manager called stating materials were not available to finish the job. At this point a 3rd day was required. This meant, I was forced to miss 3 days of work! The work left my house dusty and dirty. The installers had a broom to sweep the larger items but nothing to clean the New Floors! I can't imagine anyone accepting anything new, dusty and dirty. In addition, everything in the replaced areas have residual dirt and dust from the work performed. It is beyond me that the installers are not equipped with cloths to cover furniture and such, to protect the customer's items! This is unacceptable.
After reaching out to the installation manager several times, nothing was done! He (Eric) never returned my phone requests asking to speak directly to him. No apology! No concern! No anything! The installers asked to use my bathroom, which I understood a long Day-1 may require a bathroom break. However, they took liberties to wash their work tools and clean themselves from the day's work in my bathroom. UNACCEPTABLE! Lastly, contacting Customer Service did not help in anyway. The Sales person and the call center were very polite and inviting, PRIOR to getting the contract. After the agreement was made, no one cared about my concerns! I would not trust Empire or anyone associated with them! HORRIBLE!

Poorly done installation and unprofessional third party crew. We scheduled a new carpet installation to finish our newly renovated third floor space as well as to replace carpet on our second floor. The sale experience was fine and even rescheduling our install was never an issue. The problems began with the third party installation crew Empire sent to our home. First, they arrived, thrust a 1inch x 1inch sample in my face, and asked me to verify if it was correct. Then, I was required to pay the full balance up front before the install began. In my experience with any professional home service, you are never required to purchase the full amount until you verify the job has been done correctly. This should have been a red flag.
The installation crew did not spend any time explaining the process or timing for the install—they just came in and started working. Throughout the day, they were extremely loud and chatted bad jokes with each other the entire time. At one point, one of them urinated with the bathroom door open. Upon completion, they did clean up the space, but as we finally had a chance to inspect the job, more problems arose. We purchased the highest quality padding and one of their top tier carpets, and the carpet itself looks great in color and quality. However, the installation reflects shoddy work and unprofessional installation practices.
Nearly every wall seam has frayed edges or gaps which are extremely noticeable in our looped carpet. You can see knife marks where the carpet was cut, and there are huge gaps around almost every door jamb. The seams along the stairs are fraying and not tucked and will certainly continue to fray over time. There are many areas where the carpet ripples under foot and I am concerned this will cause wrinkling or bubbling down the road. Some spots have inexplicable holes along the edges, and we can also feel the tack strips through the carpet in a few places along the wall. They also skipped padding in all of our closets even though we specifically requested it.
When we pointed it these concerns to the crew, they reluctantly tried to fix some of the edges and gaps and did add the padding to the closets. But given that the job was done so poorly, there was clearly not enough time or skill for them to resolve the issue as it was already 6pm. I called customer service and they assured me the crew would do a final walkthrough where we could not concerns, but this never happened.
After the crew left, we discovered multiple areas where they damaged our walls, including large dents in our newly renovated drywall on the third floor—a project that cost $13k and was finished less that a week ago. Our baseboards and shoe molding are also very banged up along with scratches to the walls. The most upsetting discovery was a piece of chewed gum stuck on one of the doors on the third floor—a deposit that definitely came from the Empire crew as we have not used the space since we did the final walk through with our contractor.
We feel very violated by this behavior and the lack of care out into our installation. My wife is 9 months pregnant and we have been unable to set up our nursery while waiting on this installation. We are worried it will need to be completely redone and are concerned about the timeline involved in getting this done. It is truly a shame that the company stakes it reputation on unprofessional third party crews as our dealings with the sales and customer service team have been pleasant. When working with people’s homes, more care and consideration needs to be put into how you select your crews. We are awaiting contact from customer service and have disputed the credit card charge for the install until this is resolved.
Aaron, we take matters such as these very seriously. We'll be in touch with you shortly to discuss your concerns.

They started saying what they could not do and talked about asbestos, and it was on the concrete floor. So I couldn’t understand that. Still, the finished product looked good.
The carpeting was put in the same day in the afternoon. The installers there had a totally different mindset. They came in very professionally and did what they had to do. It was a more difficult process ‘cause they had to take out some very old carpeting and clean that away with the padding. But there were no expressions, no comments. This is immediately after I vacuum. When the person that called me after we had the carpet for 2 months I complained to them that it is horrible and shows every time you walk on it. I was told that would disappear after a few vacuums.

When I called the 1800 number, they scheduled somebody to come out and do the measurements and make selections.
I happened to be able to have the rep to come out the same day I was doing the walkthrough for the house. He took his time and was patient ‘cause I couldn’t make up my mind with what I wanted. We were kinda going back and forth. The builder was there and he chimed in to help. My mom was speaking too. The rep had a lot of us there, but he was just as patient as he could be. Empire Today's service was excellent. I've already recommended them to my son and to a neighbor lady. I had called around and I'd had other people out. I chose Empire Today because I liked the quality of the tile and the way it was put together. Other people wanted to just straight tile it. But these young men from Empire Today were good enough to stagger it and that's what I wanted. My husband was a contractor for the State of Florida for 25 years and I've helped put down tile and hardwood flooring so I know how it needs to be done.
The flooring is excellent. It's put together perfectly and I'm not having any trouble at all with it. Everybody likes it and I'm quite happy with it. I like the coloring of it. Plus the young men were polite. They were gentlemen. I had no trouble out of them whatsoever except they didn't get my couch back together. They had to take it apart because it's three pieces and you can't move all of it at one time. I had everything moved out of the living room. The only thing they had to do was move the couch, take the TV off the TV stand and slide it. They put the TV and the curio cabinet back but they just shoved the couch together and left.
I called the man that I made the original contract with and he said he would get someone else. But before he called, somebody called to do a survey, and I told them about it. I'm gonna need to have to pay somebody to get this fixed. All they gotta do are two guys, one on the backside and one on the front side, lift it up, and then hook it back together. My husband is 77 years old, I'm 65, and there ain't no way we can lift that couch. It's humongous. Why didn't their people put it back together? I paid over $2,000 for this flooring. I've got three bedrooms I wanna tile, but I'm hesitant because I don't know if my bed will get put back.

The floor has been nailed down in over 20 places in a 200 sq. ft. area, they put trim nails to hold down the floor in the kitchen and hall of the center of both places. The floor cant expand and contract and the floor has no gap or spacing at the bottom trim. They have cut all door trim 3/8 in. above the floor in the whole house. They have damaged my oak cabinets in the kitchen and missed up all of the newly painted base trim. There is a lot more I could tell you but seeing for yourself is the REAL NIGHTMARE. I reached out to Empire Today numerous times to let them know my carpet was fraying, loose, and some of the areas where they use sharp nails to secure the carpet to the floor were exposed and caused small injuries to my feet. Before submitting my complaint for the above issues, I contacted Empire to let them know how terrible of a job the technicians did when installing my carpet. They came unprepared and were not able to complete all projects, and left a mess when finished installing my carpet.
I called Empire a few times around late 2018 December timeframe when I started to notice the carpet fraying, I was speaking with Steven **, he asked me to send photos and around late December 2018 I sent him photos. Empire schedule a time for carpet technicians to come and evaluate the carpet condition. I was shocked to hear from the installers that I had cheap carpet and that is what is expected from this type of carpet. That is the very opposite description I received from the sales person. I did not ask for high performance carpeting but I did ask for medium range quality carpet. I told Steven this and he said he would have a manager come by to further evaluate the condition of the carpet but no one came.
On January 31, 2019 Steven wrote me back and asked ridiculous questions I feel was a way to lay fault on me and how I took care of the carpets. I knew then that they were not going to honor their warranty. The fact is that the area where the carpet was installed was either never used or rarely used. I use the office but the bedroom was not used until January 2019 that is when we moved downstairs and we did not get a dog until September 2018. The dog never had access to the downstairs living area. I wrote and called a few times since then and no one has returned my emails or calls. I believe they are trying to get out of their warranty they told me I would get with this purchase. Unprofessional and a scam!

I called their guy to make a change in the color, which he said he did, but the work order didn’t fall through. So, when the guy came out, they have grabbed the previous color and not the one that I made the updates on. I was definitely not happy there. But the guys that came out and did the work were super friendly. I was kind of not the friendliest, but they kept calm, they were really professional, and they solved it all.
I was talking with the quote guy and he wasn’t in the office, so he wasn’t sure what was exactly going on. He kinda gave me a quote that might take another two weeks, which I was definitely not happy with. But then, the guys that came out were assuring me that was okay and it worked out really well. The sales rep came in and did the measurement, and he was like, "It's gonna cost you close to $7,300." I told him, "I don't wanna waste your time. You can leave now 'cause I am not giving you that kind of money." Then he said, "Let me call back to the office, and see what we can do." So, we kept going back and forth. He wanted to give me the laminate for a very high price, and I told him it wasn't gonna work. I ended up getting what I wanted. The floors are great and the workers that came in and did the job were excellent. They didn't lounge around. They didn't even take a break as far as lunch. But the salesmen need to be honest. I felt like they were cheating.

We had a carpet done in the whole house, including all the bedrooms, a family room, two sets of stairs and hallways. My dad is thinking about moving in a couple of years, so the purchase was more for the look and the price. Empire was very fast. They thought it was gonna be two days but it was only one day, which was good for my dad ‘cause he’s a widow and it’s easier for him to not have everybody in the house for two days straight.

I had carpeting and flooring installed in the living room and kitchen in my home. I was gonna try and do it myself, and it would've been cheaper but I decided it would be quicker if Empire Today came and did it. I saw them in a television ad and their quality made me decide on them. The installers came in the morning and they were out of here by the afternoon. I liked the speed in which they got it done. They did a good job and met my expectations.

I have already filled out a survey - copied and pasted below. While I did get a call, when I tried to call back I was hung up on. When I tried again I was told I was going to be 'put in line' for a callback. That Never happened. Can someone call me with a direct number so that we can discuss the issues and questions we have?
The installation team was wonderful. However, I noticed a SIGNIFICANT amount of new carpeting on my driveway near the end of the installation. I have photos. Which has me very very curious if we have overpaid/been oversold on the amount necessary for the project. Noone asked us if we wanted any of the scraps - or the huge pile of new carpeting that wasn't installed. This suspicion grew with the tone of the Empire Rep that called to check on the install while it was in process - in AWE and repeatedly talking about how BIG a job we had. It was then that I realized that none of our paperwork indicates HOW MUCH we purchased or the Square Footage of the project. We were just given a cost. We have reached out numerous times to our sales rep to get an explanation and he is NOT RETURNING OUR CALLS. This only adds to feeling like we were taken advantage of. I deeply regret not choosing another vendor.
Susan, thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We'll be in touch with you shortly to discuss this matter further.

Let me first start by saying that we are a private doctors office in Manhattan who used Empire 6 years ago with excellent results which is why we went back to them to replace our existing carpets. This experience has been horrible. The salesperson came out and measured and asked for a 50% deposit right away which they received. After a week and not hearing anything from them, I reached out to the salesperson by email twice and both times received no response. I called Empire's 800 number which took them a while to even find my order. After a lot of back and forths I was finally able to schedule installation for a Saturday as we have office hours Monday through Friday.
The day of installation I get to the office at 8:00 am the move furniture as instructed. The workers arrive at 11:00 am. After working for 1 1/2 hours, they go to lunch. They come back to continue working, finish only 1 of 2 consult office's, then at 5:00 pm tell me that 2 of the workers are contracted and they can't work past 5:00 pm. They have to come back on Sunday to complete the work!!
But this is not the worst part. The office they completed was beautifully done. The carpet has vertical lines. I noticed that they cut the carpeting for the main part of the office with the vertical lines horizontal which is different from the completed office with the lines that are vertical. I pointed out to the installer the inconsistency. Since the carpet is already cut and he said Empire didn't order more, he can't change it. I have to stay with it this way as we have full office hours on Monday and the office right now is turned upside down. If they don't show up today, I'm screwed. Needless to say, I will not be using Empire Today again.
Brenda, we take concerns such as these very seriously, and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We'll be in touch with you shortly to further discuss your concerns.

We had wood floors installed by Empire Today. It was in a couple of areas in our home. It’s a big area, and we have it sectioned out to a little dining area and a little reading area. I considered other brands and there wasn’t too much of a difference with the cost at all. I thought there would be a difference but there wasn’t, and Empire was the last estimate we had, and they were around the same price. We just went on and took Empire.
I like the way our new flooring looked. I had carpet down, and it was light colored, so it had gotten dirty. And I had been wanting to get the laminate floors and we did. The only thing is we have been having problems with trying to find out how much our bill is gonna be a month. Nobody can tell us. We chose a payment plan, and my husband tried to check with the bank, and the bank said that Empire hadn’t submitted something yet. It was shown that it was set up on the 12-month payment plan and that was not correct. We chose the 48 months. My husband has been going round and round about it. Other than that, we like the floor. Empire came, and they did what they had to do. And they were very professional and did a good job.

I used Empire Today about 15 years ago and I had a good experience. I used them again about 8 years ago. Seeing that they install the next day or so and I’ve always had good work with them, I thought to use them before I even could think of anybody else. I purchased a carpet for my family room to replace an old carpet that they also previously installed.
The sales guy was very knowledgeable. He had a very good background and was very detailed in explaining the different types of carpets versus textiles versus the hard flooring. He made it kind of a major choice to make a decision for the area. The people who came in and installed did an excellent job. They were very clean. The carpeting made a difference in the room. It was a good decision in taking the carpet and choosing the color I chose to go well within the room and with the furniture. Also, I have a dog that’s snow-white, so we kinda have to blend her in with the carpet I chose.

I was gonna go with a private contractor but I based it on the cost. I had Empire install throughout the whole home a carpet and two different types of laminate flooring. One was waterproof and then a regular. Randal, the salesman, came to my home and he was very nice when it came to making the sale. He was a very fast talker. He told me that everything would be installed in one day. I said, “Great,” because the next day then, since I was pushing things back on the other construction on my home, I was gonna have my stepdad come and do the rest of the work on my home. So, I was on a timeline.
The nice installers came and I was told that it was a three-day job. I called the Empire offices and they gave me the runaround. No one helped me and I called Randal afterwards. The gentleman yelled at me on the phone because I called the office and he told me I should have called him first. You don't talk to people like that and he told me it was not his fault. I don't care if it’s his fault or not. If you tell a customer that it’s gonna be a one-day install and it turns into a two-day install, that’s not right. I didn't pay over eight grand to be lied to, then have that gentleman yell at me on the phone. He never called me back nor anybody from corporate.
Randal blamed the manager of the installation and the installation manager blamed him. They put the installer’s manager on the phone with me. I was told that Randal should’ve never had this big of a job in one day and it should have been approved before he told me that. Randal told me that was not true. He put for a combo crew and that the installer’s manager sent the wrong crew out. I didn't want my flooring put in so early but I did it because he told me it was the only way I could get the deals, which was what I told my husband. Also, my construction could only be done on the weekends. So, that pushed my construction back to another weekend.

It was a job well done, and it was professional and courteous.
My wife initially called and asked to make an appointment then the sales guy called and set up a day when we could all get together. He called us on the morning of and arrived on time. He came with all the things he needed to measure and samples, and he was very cordial and knowledgeable. I also felt that we made a better choice because hardwoods were what my wife wanted to do for the kitchen floor but the guy coaxed us away from those. That made me happy because the product we got is not hard and brittle. Plus it cleans well. The kitchen floor took them about six hours and the living room took maybe two hours, and the installation went really well.

Ordered high end carpet and high end, spill-proof padding. Installed: High end carpet, economy padding. Initial resolution was to have me (customer) remove everything from the rooms so the installer could replace the padding with what was ordered, or offered to refund me the supposed difference in padding cost, which somehow amounted to just over $100 (which seemed a bit off). Then I learned that my buddy (who was also getting Empire carpet based on my recommendation) had the same thing happen to him. I've since learned that this is a common scam with Empire and their contracted installers. So then you have to deal with customer service to try and resolve your issue, which is like dealing with Comcast. They frustrate you until you give up. Good thing I'm stubborn, I guess.
I'm seeking to have the issue resolved with a padding replacement (of the right padding) with a mutually-agreed upon 3rd party installer who will properly move everything out of the rooms with carpeting, and a 30% overall refund on cost. My request is not unreasonable but still enough to make a statement that your customers will not stand for this scam. I've already started a Better Business Bureau complaint and will continue to leave negative reviews until satisfied. The next step is arbitration through small claims court which is nothing new to Empire if you look through the public dockets. I'm not asking for much, and my resolution is certainly cheaper than attorney fees AND a court-ordered resolution.

We went through about 12 panels of samples, that he narrowed down just to me. He was very animate that I tell him what I thought, helped the process. If I could give this zero stars I would. I was first told that my floors would be installed on a Tuesday. This was then moved to that Thursday. When Thursday came around the crew didn’t show up until 4pm. They told me they couldn’t do my bathroom floor because they couldn’t remove the toilet. Even though it was in the contract. I had to call to reschedule. I was told they’d send someone out the next day.
I called Friday at 11 am as I hadn’t had anyone show up, only to be told that no one was actually scheduled to come out and that I’d need to wait for the local office to call me to reschedule. After a week of playing phone tag and explaining that the contract included the toilet removal/replacement I was ensured all would be good. I took another day off from work for this. I got a call at 10 asking how the install was going when I said no one was here, they tracked down the crew and told me they wouldn’t be here until 3.
When they showed up they AGAIN told me they wouldn’t do the work because of the toilet. That I’d need a plumber to remove it. Then they’d come back, pour concrete, spend the night at a local hotel, come back the next day to finish and then call a plumber back. So now I need to take a 5th day off of work for this to happen. I explained that I couldn’t do this and I wouldn’t be having them complete the work. After calling the office I was offered $100 off my order. This is absolutely ridiculous. After hours spent trying to communicate with this team and taking 5 unpaid days off from work for this, I’m blown away by the lack of response and customer service. Now I’m trying to find a local, trustworthy team to replace my bathroom floors.
