This is the epitome of disaster. I ordered a stackable washer and dryer on 3/22/24. Promised on 4/8/24, no it will be 4/11/24, no it will be 4/18/24, no it won't be ready until 4/26/24. No one ever calls, no ever follow ups, customer service is a joke, but I will say the name is correct....it is a Conn. Sadly, I knew the founder back in Jackson, MS, and it was not that way then. However, run from this company....Horrible place. Were it possible to give a negative number certainly would.

I ordered a sofa and a mattress that was delivered on 4/8. At the time of purchase the sales associate appeared to be confused on how to order the items, but managed to complete the transaction with help. Prior to payment the three sales associates assured me that I had 24 hours to return the items. The items were attempted to be delivered on 4/8, I refused the sofa as it was ordered incorrectly and the chaise was on the incorrect side. The delivery drivers did not speak English well and I did not understand what they were saying. They removed the plastic from the mattress and left obviously irritated that I had messed up their schedule. I spoke to the warehouse manager on the delivery person's cell phone and he stated that the store would call me to resolve the issue.

I called the warehouse myself at 1:21 pm and was told that they could not touch the order for 24 hours. I called the store at 2:45 pm and informed them that the sofa was refused and the mattress they delivered was incorrect. I offered to return the mattress to the store and the sales associate informed me that would be "relinquishing my property" and that a manager would return my phone call. Also that they could not touch the order for 24 hours.

On April 9th I called the distribution center at 10:38 am and was informed that I would have to call the store directly as they were unable to resolve the issue. I called the local store at 10:43 am and was told that a case had been opened and that a manager would return my phone call. I called again at 1:23 pm and was informed that a manager was working on it, but still had not received a phone call. I was informed that pay have to come into the store to reorder the items.

On 4/10 I went into the store to resolve my issue. I was informed that the manager was working on another issue and was unavailable. I was refunded the money for the couch only, $3,029.59 not the $200 delivery fee for an item that was refused. When I attempted to reorder the product the sales associate stated I needed to pay another delivery fee of $200. The mattress I received was no the one I selected in the store. I still have not received an answer or help.

If I could put zero star, I would. To start, they charge a high interest rate. We financed a refrigerator for 12 months no interest. Our plan was to pay off the fridge by that time to not accrue any interest charges. I spoke to an agent on the last payment and repeated multiple time that if this is all that’s owed? He stated yes. I hang up feeling relieved that we paid off this balance. This was in October, well now here we are in March 2024. I’m getting calls that I still owe on this fridge. Why? Well Conn’s is trying to pull the stunt that payment was not made in full. This whole time instead of calling or sent any messages Conn’s insist payment wasn’t complete. Well I have statements. Calls are recorded. They will pry on anyone they could get their hands on. Do NOT trust or go here.

First, lets start with: customer service rating = 0, it took them 6 attempts to deliver my product...still charging for said delivery fee. You can never get through and when you do finally get to actually speak to someone, they either: (i) do not know anything; (ii) transfer you a million times; or (iii) hang up on you. Service rating= 0, just missed my repair person today because they never notified me of the window of time they were going to be arriving. Then when I look at their tracking, it says 7 pm - WHAT?

Then when I call in to complain because now I have to reschedule, it's my fault as they say they called me at 7:45 am (no missed call) but who calls people that early on a Sat anyway, I told them my preference as they ask (text) but they never text except to tell you they are 20 mins away and you're at the store and miss them...hmmm UGH And why after only 3 weeks of having the laundry unit that it needs repair???? Now the dryer makes a loud noise while drying....WHY??? I TRULY REGRET DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

This was my experience as a first time customer and it will most certainly be my last: I placed an order when your Cyber Monday Deals were going on and was expecting my order to get delivered on 12/4/2023. I called that morning to get the delivery time and was told that it was getting put on the truck and they didn't have a specific time. The delivery never showed up so I called that evening and was told there was a hold on my order because all of my contract documents were not completed...in which they were, as I had received the email that all documents were signed from both parties. I called again and the lady told me that it happens sometimes and she would push it through and I would receive an email. Monday morning came and I never received an email so I called back and was told that the real reason my order was on hold was because the chest of drawers I ordered were no longer in stock.

The customer service rep had me pick out another chest that was $2.00 more and she cancelled my original order and drew up a new contract. My original order was $547.01 because of the Cyber Monday deals and when they drew up a new contract under a new order number, they did not give me the original discount as well as the waived delivery fee and my order is now over $800.00. I have called 13 separate times and everyone says they will get it fixed and yet this has not been resolved, not to mention the nice young lady who hung up on me after I got done explaining the whole scenario.

I haven't been a Karen, I've tried to be patient with all the associates, I would just like my furniture at the original price promised. I should not get charged extra because of a mistake on Conn's end. After they finally fixed the pricing down to 549.24, I then find out that I am getting charged a $100 administrative fee. I may be one person but I will let anyone and everyone I know that has an inquiry on furniture to go somewhere else because the name of your company certainly fits the service received.

The third delivery came on November 19th, the purchase date was November 6th. We did not install it because we had to take cabinets out for it to fit but we did plug it in in our living room. After about a week, the freezer frosted up and there was water dripping out of where the water dispenser is on the front. This has not been hooked up to water!

A technician came out and he thought it may have been returned by another customer before and said there is some major problems with this fridge. Nothing he could fix and really, this is brand new. Conn’s does not want to return our month. They have used every excuse they can. I just want a refund for this very damaged machine. Their stories are all over the place. They do not stand behind their products. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE CON ARTISTS.

Purchased a washer/dryer from the Port Richey FL store approx 1 month ago. The appliances are great, delivery experience was good. The store itself and store personnel, especially the store manager Shelly Y, please beware of their unprofessionalism and do not trust what they say. At the time of my purchase, which took over 2-1/2 hours for them to prepare the contract/invoice correctly, when I was signing the 3rd prepared contract/invoice a 5% Samsung discount for more than 2 Samsung items purchased which was advertised in the store was not on the contract/invoice. I was losing my patience for being there so long and the store manager promised that she would take care of it and have the discount credited to my account - she broke her promise.

After calling customer service every week after the purchase, and speaking with many representatives and supervisors, I was advised that I would not be receiving the 5% discount due to using a $150 off coupon that I received in the mail fishing me to shop at their store. Shelly Y did not tell me that at the time of the purchase and also was trying to apply the 10% off coupon that I also received with the $150 off coupon. My belief is that a store manager should not make promises that she cannot fulfill - if I had known that it wouldn't be applied to my account, I would have waiting another hour for a 4th invoice/contract to be completed at the time of my purchase.

So in summary, Shelly Y cost me approximately $100 by not fulfilling her promise, which will more than likely show up on her commission check. If I could rate them less than 1 star, I would. In summary, do not leave the store at the time of your purchase unless you receive everything you're entitled to - if you go back into the store to inquire about a discrepancy you'll see a totally different/rude attitude since you're not there to buy anything.

They're charging about $260 per mo, which I've paid, plus more, to try to get the principal paid, yet my credit report shows instead of lowering that, it's ADDING $21 to my balance each mo!! Conn’s sent a civil citation to me!!!! This issue was resolved after my last phone call escalated to a manager. She told me she would take care of everything for me. This was several years back. I have not received anything at all via mail or phone from Conn's since my last conversation with them in early 2021. In December of 2017 I purchased a mattress and two adjustable bed frames on what I was told by the young, inexperienced salesman a 24 month no-interest plan. I had cash to pay that day, but the salesman convinced me it would really help him if I did the 24 month no-interest plan, so I thought what the heck.

I set myself up on automatic withdrawal and even paid additional money the first several months. Everything I signed that day was on an electronic pad and he was quickly reading through stuff on his computer. He then could not print any documents for me because it was late in the day and the printer was not working. I asked him if I could come back and get copies and he said he would call me. I never received the call and the holiday came and went so I honestly forgot to go back up there.

After making payments totaling $5870.55. I logged into my account to check my balance and was ALARMED to find I had been charged interest and it was only 6/30/2019. My two years would not be up until 12/22/2019 according to what I was told by the salesperson. I called in and spoke to someone and she told me that she would check into it. I paid $1000.00 that day because I wanted to be done with this crooked company. Unfortunately, I was going through a lot of illness and was hospitalized several times in 2019. I never followed up and continued to make payments totaling over $11,200. All of this was well over the amount of merchandise I received. Several thousand more. Again, I never received a copy of any payment information and when I talked to them in a call center they never sent me any information. They would just refer me to online which had an interest amount that I knew was wrong.

When I realized this, I reached back out to Conn's and escalated up the chain until I was told I was talking to a manager. At that time, I told her I refused to pay another penny to them because this was their error. She apologized to me multiple times and assured me that she was taking care of my account. I never heard another thing. Until today. Now they are saying I owe Conn's over $2600 in addition to the $11, 200 they charged me in error? I will not pay for something I don't owe. Please explain to me how something like this has turned legal when I was not given the proper information at the point of sale. I was also told multiple times that it would be taken care of and that they appreciated me paying what I did pay.

This is the worst company in the world and no one should ever shop with them if you are smart. Their furniture is horrible, they lie about everything and fraudulently add service plans to your account. I believe that was well over $900!!! I didn’t even know that was on there. Once again? How is it legal to not get any paperwork. Take my advice, go elsewhere if you can!!! They are horrible.

As we discussed in your store 081, I told you that I was overcharged for a table set (table 4 chairs and a bench). It was marked at $1,000. I have attached the sign. On the invoice it charged me $699.99 for the table, $175.99 x 4 for the chairs, and $249.99 for the bench. That totals $1,653.94 which is $653.94 above the agreed amount. The store says they can't fix it and your customer service say they can't fix this obvious error. Only the store can correct it. As you see this is ping pinging back and forth. Simply, all I'm asking for is $653.94 be credited to my account.

I also was charged a delivery fee for a SATURDAY delivery (store sales and store manager agreed to). I was called later and was told that only Tuesday do they deliver. I work Hospice health and I have to see patients and their families and I have to be at hospitals and facilities to help them handle this very serious. So taking off is a huge expense for me. If I knew you could not deliver, I would have bought elsewhere. I was excited that I could get it delivered without impacting my patient and families. It might seem trivial but that was a factor in my purchasing. Rooms to go delivers on Saturday and I would probably gone with them. I am asking the delivery fee be credited to my account.

Lastly, it was not disclosed that you charge $100.00 to simply pull my credit. No other store does that so I did not know nor was it disclose except in a large docusign that was confusing and it hid the upcharge on the table set. I also was forced, not clearly disclosed by the sales associates and was in a 15+ page docusign, to take out insurance (life, P&C liability, unemployment and accident). I did not consent to buying insurance, but was hidden. That was shocking but was told all of those charges were reversed because of my proof of homeowners and liability insurance declaration page. However as of last week I was told by store 091 manager- Ramon **, and sales associate Solomon said they are still showing it on my account. I will need to see that has been removed and I am no longer liable to paying that.

    So in summary, I need:

$653.94 credit to my account for table overcharge.
$299.00 delivery charge because not delivered as agreed upon in the store. That impacted me significantly.
$100.00 credit fee that was disclosed other being hid in the laboriously long DocuSign.

Confirmation that all insurance products have been removed thus removing the charges.

That totals $1,053.94 that I'm requesting to be credited to my account. I do not want a check as I need the balance to be lowered so I can pay this off by the 12th month. This has been a very disappointing experience.

I’m writing my first review because of my first experience with doing business with Conn's - what an unbelievably terrible company. We’re first time customers who bought a new washer and dryer. Upon purchase, it confirmed next day delivery, so we paid the purchase price, along with the delivery. After 24 hours, we never received our delivery confirmation, so we reached out to customer service. After waiting an hour to speak with someone, the rep informed us that they have no delivery times until next week. Wow, deceptive business practice, much? Fine, whatever - we will go pick it up. Of course, no options for pick-up close by, so we drive the 1.5 hours to the distribution center. We arrive at the scheduled time and now have waited yet another hour at the dock, and can get zero help. Unreal. Deceptive. Unethical.

My name is William from El Paso. I have for Years dealt with the Conn's Store on Gateway West in El Paso Tx. They have always been friendly, helpful, & done pretty good. On February 2nd, 2019, I bought a new washer, dryer, & a nice LG side by side refrigerator. I also purchased the Extended warranty on all the items. Their service department has always given me good service, I have always given their service personnel good CSI scores.

Well, this morning when I got up, I noticed water all over the kitchen floor In front of the refrigerator. I thought what the heck is going on. So, I opened the fridge & everything felt lukewarm, opened the other door and everything in the freezer had thawed out and was leaking everywhere. I check the setting & everything was set properly, I got the owner's manual out went through the troubleshooting guide, everything looked fine. So, I called the Conn's service department to arrange a service call & they inform me the extended warranty expired already. I asked how that could be, that you always send a letter before it expires so I can renew it if I want too & the customer service lady on the phone could not answer the question. All she could say was its going to cost a $99.00 service fee.

I asked how can a refrigerator that is barely 4 years old that I am still paying on every month go bad & be out of my extended warranty already. She still could not answer the question, just kept repeating the $99.00 service fee. Oh & finally suggested I call the store where the items where purchased. So I called the Conn's store on the gateway west in El Paso, waited for nearly 22 minutes to speak to a manager. Finally spoke to a Mr. **. He informed me that all he could to was to send a email to service to see if they could do anything for me. Or I could call back later and speak to the sales manager.

Long Story short was on the phone for over a hour and a half. with their customer service department with no resolution, after being a customer for years & buying a TV, Laptop, Gas Range, Washer & Dryer, two 14.000 BTU AC units, & this LG Refrigerator, All they do is blow people off. They have no interest in keeping customer satisfaction. Or retaining customers. They seem to forget El Paso is not that big & word of mouth gets around quickly. People are not going to shop somewhere that people doesn't give a damm about after you purchase something. Will keep everyone updated if anything changes.

We told them to refund our entire purchase which included them returning to pick up the unit. That was scheduled for Sunday. The personnel that picked up the unit left a massive scratch in my hardwood floors. Awful experience. Will not recommend or shop there. Do not buy from Conn's! The name says it all. We purchased a Samsung washer and dryer and received a damaged dryer. It is very clear that the damage was done by a forklift. We were in the process of building a laundry room so did not see the damage until we removed it from the box and took off the tape. Since we did not report it within 24 hours, they refuse to replace it. They are saying we should have checked for damage when we picked it up. The damage was under the tape!!! We would have had to take the dryer out of the box and all the packaging. So now we are stuck with a damaged dryer that does not work. We spent our entire savings to purchase a new washer and dryer. Trying to deal with Samsung has been a nightmare. Please read the reviews about this company on other sites like Trust Pilot. They DO NOT care about their customers. We got back Saturday afternoon to find our home completely flooded. I had to rip out our floors, walls and cabinets. Conns sent their technicians out to see if it was an installation problem. They declared that it was the refrigerator's fault and replaced it. They said that we would have to take the damages to our home up with Samsung--who is equally horrible to work with! After weeks and hours on the phone and emailing and texting back and forth with Samsung, we got it to where the ONLY piece of documentation they need to pay the $25,000 it will take to fix our home is the work order from Conn's stating that it was the refrigerator's fault. This should be an easy document to get. One would think they would gladly hand that over to be off the hook. Wrong!

We have been on the phone for hours with them! They refuse to give us the work order. I did get them to admit over the phone to 2 things. The girl on the phone told me that the managers would no longer take my calls, and 2, There is no longer any documentation as to why they replaced our refrigerator! So amongst my husband trying to heal from his surgery, and the oncoming holidays, that we will not be able to entertain or have family in from out of state, I am now strapped with trying to figure out how to try and pay for all of this damage! They said they would send me my account ledger - I made sure they had my mailing address and waiting. Got a call from someone days later who told me that it was in the "terms and conditions" that I signed.

When I told them that it was unfair for them to bury this in the fine print of their "contract" without explaining the charges I would have to pay, they were uncaring and dismissive. In my industry of finance, you have to tell consumers of the charges they will have to pay, upfront, while going over the contract. Not bury it down in the terms and conditions fine print. Also found out that this fee is charged by their choice, not as a requirement by law. That means they, can, by choice, waive it if they want to. This company is taking advantage of every single consumer that they extend credit to and it's doubtful that the majority of their customer base realizes what they're being charged. This is illegal, in my opinion, based on my experience in the finance industry. If it's not illegal, it should be. I will never do business with these people again.

I said leave it for me to assemble, but that's not right. So I asked for a manager. He said he would place me on the list to be called back.

So the manager called me back, and I expressed my concerns as above and she told me that I could call once I got the confirmation call to ask them to place a note to see if I could be an AM delivery. She went on to say that the rep was incorrect in stating that they would just leave my things there, if my husband had to leave, she said they would put in a ticket to come back if my husband has to leave to finish the assembly.

I received the confirmation call today, April 6, and I called, just as the manager said, and the same rep picked up and basically told me everything the manager told me was a lie, and that I had to take the time frame they gave. I am beyond frustrated with this process and I just want my merchandise. I did not spend 3500 to be treated like this! After that, I drove to Lowe's, bought the 6 foot cord there, and drove back to Conn's and turned the 4 foot cord back in, and was refunded the charge on the cord, which was almost 35 dollars. I was also refunded the haul away fee because the old range was not hauled away. This I can understand because the apartment I live in is very old, and there were roaches in the old range. However, I had to move the old range outside by myself. This was very difficult for me because I have heart problems and high blood pressure that I am being treated for. My whole body is very sore from the exertion I had to make.

I've been a customer of Conn's for about 30 years, but no more. Customer service has gone into the toilet to the point that I wouldn't be surprised if one of their customers who also has health problems died because of having to deal with the same type of problem I had. These people are totally heartless.... Well, maybe not totally. They have a heart. It's a cash register. Conn's would make a great poster boy for corporate corruption. The only reason I am giving a one star review is because there is no option to give a zero.

Conn's feels almost like a scam. I purchased some items with zero % interest for a 12 months period. On the terms/contract it was stated that my payment will be due on the 6th of every month. my first payment was on the 2nd of that month and I pay twice the amount due. I paid for three consecutive months, on the 2nd of each of those months and also paid more than the amount due each time. On the fourth month my balance increased with over $500. I called to find out why that happened and they told me I defaulted in my payment hence they withdrew the zero % interest they offered me. Now the question is how did I default? I paid before each due date and paid more than amount due.... I never received answer to my questions. Their customer service is untrained and hell bound. The management is desperate. They are hell bound as well....STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

Install team on site twice and still unable to get the unit installed even though I paid for installation. Store manager told the installer that she didn't care that the unit would not work and could not be installed and that she would do nothing to rectify the situation. Staff use every runaround and excuse possible to avoid dealing with problems. Will not take calls, speak with customers, return messages or calls. No one in the store knows a thing, no one is empowered to do squat, and all involved seem lost, uninterested, incompetent, and DOWNRIGHT RUDE! Horrible group to deal with.

Never, NEVER, NEVER!!!! Buy from Conn's! DO not purchase there! They do nothing but lie, lie, lie! I'm done. Canceled Credit card charge and had to purchase another unit from another retailer. Truly the worst customer experience I have ever witnessed! And I now have no cooktop with which to cook for my family as Conn's would not attempt to install the new unit until the Ac was converted from 220 that the old electric one used, to 110 for the new Gas one. The damages to the Risk were caused by the delivery company who self identifies as a subcontractor of JB HUNT. JB Hunt according to the subcontractor is contracted by Conn’s. The damages shown were solely caused by the two delivery drivers who delivered the refrigerator, damages were not only caused moving the new refrigerator being moved into the Risk but also in taking the existing refrigerator out. The drivers requested $150 dollars in cash. The reason given for the request was that there was no note in the work order to remove the existing refrigerator and both drivers thought the move was going to be difficult. Additionally, the request was made after the Kenmore was taken apart and the moving had begun.

The larger driver wanted $100 but the smaller driver wanted $150 cash to complete the move. It was requested that the existing refrigerator be taken to the garage, it was left half partly assembled in the gravel driveway in front of an open garage door. Damages to three solid oak 120-year-old doors was witnessed by both myself and my son. Damage to the wood floors was witnessed as well by both of us. It was mentioned during the delivery that damages had taken place, delivery drivers responded. Laughter took place, grunting noises and at one point the larger driver said he was hung in the doorway going into the kitchen, I asked they PLEASE be careful stating there are Kitchenaid appliances near the area where the refrigerator had become stuck.

Both refrigerators were damaged by the drivers and the ice maker leaked all night long. Being found the following day when the damages to the new refrigerator were found due to the fact that the refrigerator had to be moved exposing the damages to the lower left side of at least 9 to 12 deep dents, a large scuff on the top front face. The Kenmore that was new flawless now has multiple damages. Conn's continued to collect with no regard to us or the now damaged appliance in our now damaged home. They said we signed a release of liability for all damages. We signed a release of liability so the ice maker could be hooked up. At least that's what we were told.

Okay my refrigerator went out so I did a pre-approval application online and I was approved for $5,000. Went to the store to get a refrigerator. The salesman said, "We have a bundle special that is going on. If you buy these three or more appliances you get so much off." Okay. Went to the refrigerators. Saw one that I liked. But he said, "Oh this one will be better because you will have more space because the ice maker is on the door and not inside. So I said okay then I said, "I need the matching appliances such as the microwave, stove and dishwasher." So he said, "Well the stove will be in but I just checked we are out of this refrigerator and the refrigerator won't be in for like 2 months but we have this one right here." I said I don't like that one. He said, "But you need one right now and you'll get so much off if you buy three of the appliances."

I said, "But I don't want that one. I want this one," and then I picked another one because he said that second one that I picked wasn't going to be in for 2 months as well. Then he said the stove and microwave wouldn't be in for that particular refrigerator as well. So then he went back to the same one and I kept saying no I don't like GE products. He said, "GE is the best one and we just got this one in this year." I said, "Okay I'm sold because I have to go home because y'all closing in about 10 minutes."

So he then showed me the matching stove, dishwasher and microwave. He said, "Look how big that microwave is." We didn't open up the microwave because on the outside the microwave looked so big. He looked at the measurement of the inside and outside of the oven of the stove and said, "Look how big this oven is." So I was sold by that as well but then he said I have a problem because the microwave won't be in for about a month. I was frustrated at this point because I'm leaving out with something that I really didn't like but absolutely needed. I said, "Okay that's fine. He said, "Well you would have to come and pick it up but the other appliances will be delivered in two days and 2 days after that someone is going to come in and install them."

It took 3 weeks for me to get someone to come out and install the dishwasher which doesn't work at all like he explained it would. I went picked up the microwave a month later. Didn't think about okay look at the microwave and see how it look. It sat in the box for about a couple of weeks until I got someone to come and install the microwave. When I open the microwave the microwave is so small. The extra width of the outside of the microwave door is an exaggeration. It has so much plastic outside the original door of the microwave to make it look like it's huge on the outside. It sticks out so much into my kitchen space and would actually harm someone if they'd run into the door without looking.

I told the salesman I don't like this microwave. I want to bring it back. He said, "Well the return policy date is up and even if we was to take it back it'll be a 15% return stock fee and there's no guarantee that you are going to have another microwave." The refrigerator that I have that he sold me is horrible. It is nothing like he said it would be. The dishwasher runs for 2 to 3 hours and you can't just choose a rinse cycle or a dry cycle. You have to run it from the beginning or shut it off and then start it all over again. The stove if you put it on light it won't light up. I have to put it above the word lite in order for it to light up. At this point not a air is filled up with a little gas smell before it lights. This whole bundle is crap. I paid more for the installation and the 4 years extra coverage on the refrigerator than the actual appliances. Ugh I am so fed up with Conn's.

Bought an LGThinq refrigerator on 5/25/2021. Was delivered 5/30/2021. Approximately 7/13/2021 unit stopped working. The next week a tech diagnosed a faulty main board. Wait another week for it to come in. Tech installs, still not working, says it is the compressor. We wait another week for new compressor. New tech comes out, installs compressor and it still isn’t working, says it is the JIG. He leaves saying he will be back the next day with the part. At this point I had only contacted Conns (huge mistake!!) about my claim. I had purchased an extended warranty and Conns claimed LG warranty wouldn’t cover these parts.

By this point I decide to contact LG. LG had a tech out within 24 hours. Once this tech looked at the compressor that Conns Tech installed, he realized we have a major DANGEROUS issue! The tech had soldered my compressor. Now maybe in the old days you could do this. But since we have a new R600 unit.. This is a huge no, and you must be certified to work on this particular new system. We were told it’s lucky that the Conns Tech did not “blow himself” up or cause serious bodily damage. Not to mention, my household was put in danger. The LG tech refused to touch anything else, took documentation and left.

I then called Conns, now remember I’m still waiting on the guy to come back and replace “faulty JIG.” So now of course we are dealing with an entirely different situation. I find out that the tech closed my work orders, never ordered another part and I had no service appointments. After days of back and forth between the two companies. I finally have a different Conns tech come out. I was under the impression he was here to take pictures and live-remote with LG, so that they could approve me for either a refund or replacement. Nope- tech thinks he is here to install the JIG. By now it’s been over 3 weeks with no working refrigerator. I’ve had 5 home visits by this point as well.

So here we are on week 4, LG says no way can this product be used again. Conns agrees. I call the next day for an update. Agent says Conns denied me. Transfer to a supervisor who informs me that the agent told me wrong. Well, duh! So yesterday we get a phone call to come in person and sign off on replacement. We go in to the store, and what do you know.. It’s not in stock for another month or so. Decided to go with another brand entirely. (And still had to pay out more money, as the first one was on sale, and this one wasn’t)

Today the delivery FINALLY happens! We were happy after a month, countless hours on the phone, countless visits (we are up to 8 now between the two companies) we finally can move on. But wait! First off the delivery guys don’t want to wear masks. Non negotiable in my house. We had to go back and forth, finally giving one of them a mask, because he claimed he did have one. We told them several times the doors would probably need to come off. The delivery guys had to take the doors off the old one to get it in and out. The delivery person says “well, no I think we can fit” “it would be much more danger of damage if we took the doors off it’s complicated.”

So since this new unit is a little smaller, and they did put blankets around my door frame, and they were insisting on being experts, we said okay. We take the plastic off to inspect, and what do you, a dent on the front of the unit. He offered a discount of $50.00. Mind you this is a $4,000 refrigerator. Absolutely not. I refused to accept it. I called customer service in front of him. He told me to hang up, I don’t need to bother and someone will contact me in the next few days. I told him he and his crap could leave. I go to the store to speak with a manager. I see the delivery report. “Customer refused delivery due to a seal not sealing tightly”, “Customer agreed to a delivery after unit is repaired at warehouse”. The only pictures that were included were off my old unit. None of the damage to the new unit.

Long story longer, manager couldn’t help, didn’t want to really. Spent another hour in the phone at home, trying to get answers. I’m supposedly escalated to have priority delivery in the morning of a new unit. We never finance. Only reason we decided to finance this one, is to build credit. Can’t risk canceling the contract because the refund from LG does not cover the cost from Conns. So we would still be liable for over $1,500 and still without a refrigerator. It could cost me even more than I’ve already spent. Conns is truly living up to its name.

Conn's is an absolute joke! I order a bed back in January of 2021- right after Christmas. I placed my order online and the product came fairly quickly. When it arrived at my house it was put up by the delivery team but it was damaged in multiple places. At this point, the guys told us there was nothing they could do that we would need to contact the home store closest to us... which we did. Mind you we never were given the opportunity to sign paperwork stating we accepted it, checked it, nothing. They told us it didn't matter and we didn't have to. The home store that is 45 minutes from our home and the closest one to us, told us that they would order a new one from the warehouse and it would be delivered to us. These were on backorder for quite some time which I understood, right after Christmas- I didn't fuss.

Over a month later, we still didn't have a bed. Nor could anyone give me answers. Months and months later, many many phone calls and emails later I still have no bed. Not only that they informed me, I would be "in legal trouble" if I didn't pay them. I refused to pay thousands of dollars for a broken bed in which they refused to make right. It was scheduled to be delivered on many occasions, where they would call and say "oh it was damaged again" and the last time (memorial day weekend) they didn't even call - they didn't show up in the 4 hour time frame they gave me so I called to see where they were and they told me it was damaged when it arrived and someone should have called me.

At this point I asked them to not worry about the bed, please discount my total price and redo my payments which they assured me they would do. Weeks later, here I am again. Harrassed for payment, no bed, no changes, nothing. When I called, they told me they had no notes in the system of this. One guy actually proceeded to laugh and raise his voice at me, yelling that it was all my fault because I refused to answer the phone. Which is quite ridiculous, considering they make you confirm over phone, text, and email (3 ways of communication) that someone over the age of 18 will be at the delivery spot. I will never in my life order from Conn's ever again and I hope that for everyone elses' sake- they don't either.

I just bought a house and needed appliances and new furniture for the new home, a refrigerator, and washer and dryer. I went to the store to see what they offered and applied for credit with them. Great approved right, wrong! Picked out all the stuff I wanted online and placed it in my cart. The total was 5780.00 for all the items including shipping and install. It was Memorial weekend so some items were tax free. When I got to the store we put everything I wanted on an order form, total was 7230! What??? So when I said it was way over the online price they really didn’t think that I already added it all up and the “sales manager” tried to argue it with me. They emptied their order form and it adjusted to 6800! Ummm no! So they ask me to sit down while they “fix it”. 45 minutes later after I just sat there with not one person coming back to tell me what the deal was, I left.

Ordered everything online and used the finance option I had and I get an email saying I needed to buy their insurance. Ok this is weird. 299.00 extra a month!!! Seriously. I’m a Contract Advisor so I read the fine print. I also am the one who writes terms and conditions for contracts so I started looking a bit further. Not in one place is this so called mandatory condition. I looked and looked and looked. Nada! I called them explaining they cannot strong arm people to purchase insurance when it is not in their contract to do so and that it’s against contract law. The lady from the insurance argued with me and transferred me with another 1 hour hold. That e-commerce department lady hung up on me. Auto insurance is the only thing I am required to have as well as my hone owners insurance which I have. They wouldn’t accept that because it’s a different address!!??? Well no kidding I haven’t moved in yet. They really tried to make me buy their insurance and it become a financed option.

Buyers beware. They simply are scamming people by requiring them to buy insurance through them and it’s not a requirement to have. It’s not in their terms and conditions of the credit option for “yes money” credit line. You will be financing insurance that is not required. Which at an APR of 32.6% will cost you in the end. If you want to buy from them get renters insurance if you are renting to get the items then cancel it. My advice as a consumer is they are scamming people in the stores so pay attention. Put all items in a cart online and start the checkout process to see the total. Then see what the total is when you get to the store. Shady shady business!

I ordered a cooktop for a rental property as the website said next day delivery. I went thru the purchase process and it had me sign in at the end. This flaw in the site replaced my delivery address with my billing address. There is no "Order" section on my Conn's profile to review the order. I finally get an email and it says delivery 5/25/2021 and install 5/27/2021. I am upset at the lead time, however the other places I looked did not have the item in stock either so I explained to our tenant. I received a voicemail Monday 5/24/2021 and realized it had the wrongs address. I quickly called and the lady in delivery said she changed the address for me. I felt comforted by all of her reassurances and did not think on it again until the evening on 5/25 when I realized my tenant never said they received the item.

Although the customer service email said 8-10pm the call center closed at 8pm. I emailed, but no one called. I called and waited 30 minutes before being transferred from delivery to online which disconnected me. I called back and waited 45 minutes before a rep told me that a supervisor could talk to me and I spent another 30 minutes to sort it out. They were able to correct the missed delivery but the installation address still had a problem. I begged her not to cancel it and she did anyway.

I called the installation company to get my slot back and they were the worst! I waited over an hour and they quoted policy and never even tried anything more. They didn't listen to the situation at all, did not try to help, and told me it would be another week! The tenant will be going 2 weeks without a cooktop!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! This will be the last time I order from Conn's and I will warn everyone I encounter not to use them in the future.

Every payment on time, and now they are suing us for something that has been paid in full for 4 years?

Ordered washer, dryer, and two pedestals on Feb 20, 2021 for delivery at the Mesquite, TX location. At the time of my order, I was told that all the items were in stock and available for delivery. I received a call the morning of the delivery, and was told that the pedestals were not in stock and would have to be scheduled for a separate delivery, perhaps a week later. No problem, as long as the washer and dryer arrived promptly I could wait a little for the pedestals. The washer and dryer arrived with no issues. The delivery guys were great. I never did get a call about rescheduling the delivery for the two pedestals. So, I called back about two weeks later to ask what was going on. I was told that the pedestals were supposed to be arriving at the warehouse the next day and I was on the schedule to call and set up delivery. The lady told me to wait for a phone call from them the next day. The phone call never came.

Another two weeks later I call and ask what’s going on. The guy who answered at the Mesquite location told me that they were not in stock, but *might be* by March 30th. He told me I could wait to see if they showed up, but I should just cancel my order. I told him, "No, I’ve already had the washer and dryer installed. Nobody else I bought the pedestals from was going to want to install them under an existing washer and dryer they didn’t install, themselves." He says just to call back. So I called the main delivery line today, April 5, and was told my order had been canceled. The lady I spoke with was sweet but confused, and told me I should talk to a store manager at the Mesquite location.

So I called the Mesquite location, finally got a manager on the line, and was told that my order showed it had been delivered in full. Which of course it had not! I explain the situation to him and he understood. He looked at the warehouse inventory and told me they had 46 in stock. He is supposed to call me later today to let me know when they can be scheduled for delivery. With the exception of the kid in the delivery department at the Mesquite location who basically blew me off and told me to cancel my order because he couldn’t be bothered with helping me, everyone I’ve worked with has been fine. Not particularly helpful, but fine.

My frustration is with the delivery protocols. I’ve had to wait a month and a half for these pedestals to show up, which I consider ridiculous considering they’re a pretty common item that conn’s clearly has in stock. I spent quite a bit of money at conn’s and would consider continuing to do so if I didn’t have a full expectation now of having rotten experiences with the carry through on their end.

Well, things didn't get any better with time. It actually started to get worse. I keep my furniture clean and vacuumed and never noticed anything until about a month ago. I noticed the spring had poked through the clothed furniture. We called customer service and they sent out a technician to inspect the couch instead of taking the paying customer's word for it. He ripped the bottom covering off and the whole couch is broken. The wood is completely cracked and the springs have rolled up and are now poking out of 2 sides as well as the cushion.

They have responded that upon completion of the investigation they will send "US" the parts to repair my couch. I am not a furniture repair service nor should I have to fix this myself! As well we purchased a lamp that is a HUGE fire hazard and I don't want it in my home! This is the worst place to purchase anything from. I spoke to one of their reps on 02/03/2021, and informed them that I would be in the store on Sunday (02/07/2021) to make a purchase. Again, this moron never told me anything about a time limit. Don't fall for their credit scam, and allow these criminals to pull your credit. You will be sorry you ever dealt with these criminals! Just because they allegedly approve you for, let's say, their typical $3000.00 credit line, they will not post that to your credit. In 2018 Conn's repair came out to fix the Ice maker for freezing and defrosting and leaking all over the floor and under the deli drawer then freezes again creating big block of ice. Any thing in the Deli drawers freezes up-- can't keep produce or lunch meat or any type of food as it freezes in a day and we have to throw it away. The back panel had been replaced twice for the freezing and making gurgling noises. The issue continued and Conn's would not return due to no longer under warranty. I paid a Samsung technician to come out as this is a known issue with class action lawsuit for these Fridge/icemakers. While the Samsung technician completed the repairs-- he found the casing around the auger fan had been broke by the previous technician that came out 1.5 years before he did.

Conn's refuses to take ownership or fix the damages while I continue to have constant leaks and freezing within the fridge and needless to say no icemaker for year for which I paid for-- water drips out of the water dispenser, out of the bottom of the fridge and out from under the deli tray CONSTANTLY. They refuse to take ownership to replace the casing around the auger fan to allow the freezer to insulate and auto defrost properly for over 9 months now since the damage was found. You have to remove the entire icemaker to get to the auger fan-- there Is no way we would have known of the damages until another technician was dispatched which unfortunately for us was not Conn's due to warranty expired. Samsung Techs are amazing but have not been able to help with our claim against Conn's either.

I was told I had 30 days to return the items if unsatisfied. I made the purchase on 10/25, original delivery was 10/26. A broken washer (LG WM8100HVA) was delivered that flooded my laundry room. A service tech came out 10/31 and ordered a part, but I was called by Conn's on 11/2 stating they would just replace the washer. The replacement delivery was today 11/7 and another broken machine was delivered and I sent it back with the delivery crew. The delivery guy tried to make me sign before testing the machine, I refused. He then tested it and it was not functioning, which is why I sent it back with them.

I called the store and asked to just return the whole set as I have wasted much time, energy and frustration as well as a terrible and rude and uneducated delivery crew today. I was told they will only refund the washer but not the dryer. I do not want the dryer without the matching washer. I feel that this is an unfair and unethical response. I was not informed that I should have sent the whole set back the first delivery, I was on hold with the store and the delivery crew told me to sign for delivery, not that I was signing to accept a final sale. They left as quickly as possible before I was able to speak to anyone at the store.

Again, I thought I had 30 days to return and the store said they would make it right or take back the set and let me re-select. I waited for the replacement as I wanted this set. Now I am being told I can only return the washer. I do not want any further business with Conn's. I am so disgusted and displeased with the deceptive sales and service acts that have occurred. I just want to return the set for a refund to my credit card and shop elsewhere. It has not even been 14 days from purchase/delivery and I have had to block out 3 days so far for delivery and service. Tomorrow will be the 4th day that Conn's comes out. How can they deny me a refund when they keep delivering broken merchandise? If one item of a SET is broken, why will they not refund the whole set?

They have this little little trick up their sleeve. Everything is done on a little tablet that you initial everywhere. I went two times. When it comes time to get the paperwork. They do not have it. They told me they will email it to me. Every time I try to get it it wouldn't copy or print. I finally have to go back to the store and they gave me a hard copy.

After over a week that's when I noticed that was not interest free yet after all but by then I had already initials all over that tablet but the real problem started when the refrigerator broke after a month I had bought the extended warranty and also ask them if it was still under warranty for the year with Samsung. They said it was still under warranty through Samsung. When is time to fix it Samsung said they no longer cover the warranty on floor models. All the big problem was every time they sent the service Man Down they told me they cannot fix it because they're not certified on the Samsung system so they would send a third-party out. They say they could not fix it because it's not under Samsung warranty.

I finally got them to give me an exchange in the refrigerator but because I bought it on sale the same type of refrigerator that I have I can't exchange it without giving them an extra 800 to $900 more. I have tried talking to these people over and over again and they refused to help me. They say that I can only get something that's worth what I paid for. That one I told him all I want is the exact same refrigerator and exchange I thought they said it can't be done because it was bought on sale and all the newer models aren't on sale and cost a lot more so I said I would just glad to just have my money back and go somewhere else but that's totally out of the question.

You got to get what they're going to give you or don't get nothing at all. I've had two people on the phone customer service and they come up with the remark of saying that, "Let me transfer you." All they do is put you back to the main menu and he have to wait another 30-40 minutes to start all over. I wish I read the reviews to begin with because this company is really bad and the thing about not signing any hard copies that's a pretty good trick. Again anybody have any ideas how to solve this?

I don't know why they have an online ordering system, it's the worst ordering system I have ever seen in my life. I don't understand how you can screw up an order that bad. I have spent days trying to get this worked out. I may never get the TV and TV stand I ordered from them. I am not asking for an act of congress. All I want is the TV and TV stand I ordered in the first place. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM as they can't even get a simple home address correct. You will spend hours and days fighting with them.

When I reached out to give them an earful they're telling me that they won't talk to me without a power of attorney even though they had no problem taking the death certificate from me which costs a lot of money for copies. First, let me just let the consumer beware. Do not shop at this store. It was the biggest mistake I ever made dealing with a store I was unaware of. I Purchased a TV from Conn's that was on special. I also had a coupon with a extended service contract. Purchased it and off I went. It was all done on an iPad, I had a hard time reading it and I was getting very frustrated with the salesperson. My time there was handled very poorly. When I asked for my paperwork the sales lady said, "It will be emailed to you soon." When I got home I opened my email and to my dismay the price was all wrong. She did not apply any of the sale prices or my discounts that I was suppose to receive. Long story short. Had to go back to the store and a new order was written up.

A month later I got an alert on my credit report that a bill was not paid. It was an account from CONN'S. The sales person never canceled the old order so an account was created and showed it was never paid. That is when my nightmare began with Conn's and my credit report. I have never before dealt such a rude, crass, incompetent group of people . It took over 4 months to clear it up and it was not done correctly. It still shows up that I had an account and I didn't pay, but it's closed. It was supposed to be erased. Then I purchased a extra service agreement for the TV in case something should happen to it. The manager said "it could fall off the wall and it will be covered." Well that is exactly what happened when we moved.

Our 70 inch flat screen tv cracked. I called Conn's Insurance dept. only to find out that it is not covered. I began to tell her what the gentleman said to me and her response was, "I was not present for the conversation." It's not covered. She was crass and beyond rude, doubling down on the typical Conn's attitude. I found out that I could cancel my extended service contract. I called 5 times in one day. I was hung up, transferred to 4 different people who do not know who they are transferring you to. It is just beyond frustrating calling and getting nowhere with this store. Never again.

Nothing other than poor quality caused this HUGE rip in the fabric of my couch. We sat down and it ripped. Period. End of story. Called Conn's, spoke with Connie, she indicated that she would start a claim and that they would send a technician out to look at it to see if it could be repaired or replaced. Gave me a claim number. I sent photos. Several days go by I send MULTIPLE emails and get NO response back.

Finally called them back today and was told it was not going to be covered because it was "accidental" on OUR part. TELL ME HOW THE HELL SITTING ON A PIECE OF FURNITURE DESIGNED TO HOLD YOUR BODY is an accidental issue. What, we're not supposed to use the furniture for the purpose it was intended? I'm livid and sorely disappointed that my $1200 couch is now ruined. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, the local Chamber of Commerce, will blast this all over social media. Then a few days later I called and found out that they not only gave me the wrong balance, they put the money in the wrong account, it took days to get it in the right account. Once it was in the right account, I called and paid them another $2046.00 and they told me it was paid in full. Now, my account shows I owe another $2036.00. We bought a 75-in nano television from Conn's. They had next day delivery They said but on their schedule they could not get it to us for at least two days so we opted to bring it home ourselves. It would not fit in the car we had been driving so we had to leave it and come back an hour and a half later to pick it up. Prior to us exchanging cars we had them open it up and unwrap it as the box had a hole in it and we wanted to make sure the TV was not damaged. We left them to package it up and they loaded it into our van when we came back later.

When we brought it home and opened it up there was a big crack in the right hand corner. We called them to ask what had happened in the hour and a half time frame that we had left it with them. It has taken them 5 days and multiple calls for us to get the manager Mark ** on the phone to only tell us that he was sure they did nothing and that they have store videos that could show us no damage was sustained by them but he told us he did not feel obligated to review it nor did he feel compelled to provide us of a video during that time showing that nothing had been done to our TV. Additionally both Mark and the sales person Dale gave us conflicting information as to where the TV was stored during the hour and a half. It was frustrating enough to wait to spend 5 days with us calling them multiple times a day not to get any response from them. They left us on hold for several minutes at a time where no one ever picked up and sent us to leave emails on vacant extensions.

Additionally they gave us the runaround where the salesperson said he could not make a decision until the manager was in the next day and then when we would call the manager the next day the manager would tell us he could not make a decision because the salesperson was not in that day. Supposedly the two could never seem to leave each other notes that the other could read and we could never seem to get them together on the same day to have a conversation. Just the sheer fact that we could not get any calls back and continue to get the runaround for 5 days says everything about their lack of customer service.

Additionally when we finally got a hold of a customer service number and called during the times the automated message said they were open but they were closed. Additionally we were never given a receipt when we left the store and we have not received one via email. When we asked the manager Mark to send us a copy of the receipt he simply told us to call customer service. When I asked him to confirm his statement that he refused to review any video to see if any damage occurred and refused us an opportunity to review any footage with him he then said he to disregard his previous comments about a video. I would run not walk away from this place!!

I purchased a Samsung TV from CONN's (should be conned). At the time of purchase the salesmen sold me a extended warranty that included accidental damage protection. His pitch to me was and I quote "If a kid is playing baseball in the living room and he swings and cracks the screen the TV is covered." Well now that the TV screen is cracked they inform me that it's not covered that they had stopped selling that plan a few months prior to my purchase. The only reason I purchased the warranty is because I've been an Electronic technician for more than 30 years; and I don't need anyone's help repairing a set.

My experience knows the most expensive part of any TV is the screen. Which is why I purchased the warranty. They claim that's not what purchased and if I can't get confirmation from the salesman there is nothing they can or will do. How convenient for them that the salesman quit. Probably out of shame for what he was doing the customers. And now from reading the other complaints on this forum this company is obviously un-trustworthy. My suggestion do not have any dealings with these con men.

We bought a Samsung refrigerator in March 2019 from Conn’s: at the time we bought the extended warranty for two years. This March, the icemaker quit working and we called for repair. Since it was within the one-year warranty offered by Samsung they sent a repairman to replace the ice maker. The repair did not fix the problem so Samsung told us they would give us credit on a new refrigerator for the total amount. We did go in on the 9th of June and picked out a LG refrigerator. When the manager, Jose, gave me the paperwork, the supposed two-year warranty expired in March of next year. I told him that there was a mistake and he said that it was the fault of I.T. and that he would get them to fix it. This was on Monday the 9th. I called on Thursday, the 11th to see if the problem had been fixed and was told by Jose that I.T. knew what the parameters were so I could just trust them.

I stated I would rather have it on paper and could he get that for me, and he said he could not, but to trust him. I then told him that since this could not be fixed I would rather cancel the extended warranty and that I would come in the following day to cancel. He stated that if we canceled, we would have to wait until the next delivery cycle which would be the 20th for the delivery of our refrigerator and we decided to go ahead and allow him to get the paperwork corrected and the correct paperwork to us.

On Friday, the 12th we received a call and also an email letting us know that when the delivery men were within 3 hours they would call. We waited until 2:30 on Saturday and called wanting to know when our refrigerator would be here and were told that they were not coming because they did not have any. I asked why someone had not let us know and they apologized and said that they should have. Nothing else, just “they should have”. I called on Monday to see if the problem had been fixed and was told by Jose that I.T. knew what the parameters were so I could just trust them.

I stated I would rather have it on paper and could he get that for me, and he said he could not, but to trust him. I then told him that since this could not be fixed I would rather cancel the extended warranty and that I would come in the following day to cancel. He stated he would be there all-day Tuesday. We drove into Lufkin to meet with him and were told that he would not be there until afternoon. We waited for him and he said that if we canceled, our refrigerator would not be delivered until the following Saturday (the 20th) which at this point was hard to believe, but we bit.

I called on Friday to see when our refrigerator would be arriving and was told once again that there was none in stock and that the salesperson should have told me that or called to let me know. Once again, the person apologized for not having someone call. I called Jose on Saturday (20th) at 1:30 p.m. and asked him when our refrigerator would be delivered. He said he would get a hold of delivery and get right back to me. It is 5:45 and I have again received no call, no e-mail, no smoke signal, nothing, NADA.

At this point, I have no idea when our refrigerator will be delivered. I am getting mixed signals from the people I called for delivery who told me that the salesperson can see on their computer if the product is available and the manager at the local Conn’s that tells me they have no idea what is in in stock or when the units will be delivered and that it is out of their hands. One has to wonder if the right-hand knows what the left hand is doing. Delivery suggested I go in and pick out a different model, but at this point I think that that will just start this whole charade over again.

Zero stars! They lost my lump sum payment - never sent my settlement paperwork that I should have received in Feb 2020. Horrible. Worse than possible. Paid my balance off in full on February 27, 2020. This balance is moderately large, in the lump sum payment of $927.00- Since this, they have never sent me settlement papers, however they have sent me papers in April requesting me pay the balance that was already paid in Feb- those papers also threatened sending my account to a collection agency. I called Conns, spoke with the representative and they assured me that there was no reason for concern, they had flagged my account (that was closed in their office) for underwriters to send me my paperwork stating my balance in full had been paid.

Flash forward to today, May 7 2020 - my account that is paid off is with a collection agency (Sequium) and is being reported to my credit as unpaid. I have been on the phone with Conns, and Sequium all morning, Conn's can see my notes from all the calls I have made, and can see my account is closed - however they cant find my payment that was made in February anywhere in their systems and I have had to now track down my bank statements to send in to prove their mistakes.

I assume I will never be compensated for all of this, as Conns referred to this as a minor inconvenience, that same representative for Conns (Gloria) refused to put me on the line with a manager or supervisor, and kept promising me she was sending me an email with details of my payments made on this account- however I still have not received this email, she then put me on hold - and transferred me to the collection agency they had sent my closed account too. So after speaking with their (Sequium's) Manager Trent he agreed to allow me to send in my paperwork proving this has been paid, once Conn's complies and sends me the paperwork.

This clearly is not a minor inconvenience. A minor inconvenience is my pizza not being made on time for a pick up order. Never in my life would I ever recommend Conns to anyone. They have "lost" my payment, however luckily I have the bank statements and will stay on top of this until it is corrected. I hope other people can see this and really take into consideration how big of a company this is and how this should not be a problem 3 months on down the road from paying off your appliance. MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR PAPERWORK FROM CONNS. THEY HAVE BEEN VERY SHADY THROUGHOUT THIS WHOLE PROCESS ABOUT MY SETTLEMENT PAPERWORK. I can say from my experience- once I do get my paperwork, I will be in an attorney's office faster than you can even imagine.

I was told I could refinance. They tell me they can't tell me the apr or if it will extend payments. I said directly to them I do bot accept them terms if it is higher apr or higher payments. The lady lowered my payments to 150 from 220. Today I login to pay this month and my payment is still 220! I just sent the email to the customer service. I'm keeping a paper trail and recording my calls with this crooks. I never got the refinance paperwork. And It looks like I owe more this month than last month! They are ripping me off. I want to sue them. They are offering predatory loans with illegal business practice misleading people.

I was in a bind and needed a new washing machine quickly. I shopped around to different box stores and couldn't get the financing I needed to make my purchase. I had an account at a furniture store and decided to go with a washing machine from there. The sale price was $300 more than the lowest price I found at the box stores and I was prepared to purchase it. Then I thought about the mailers that I had received from Conn's and decided to try my luck with a credit account. I was approved for $7000. Much more than what I needed, but it was good to know that I could afford what I needed. I had to upload information such as my driver's license, SS card, paystub, etc. It took several times before they were able to acknowledge receipt of it. No problem.

We got everything taken care of and I purchased the washing machine online. It was only $50 more than the pricing at the big box store and I got 12 months with zero percent financing. Free credit is for me. Received my delivery date in acceptable time. The issue started when the men showed up with the washing machine. They had an attitude as soon as the entered my home. It was concerning as single female. Then they didn't have the new hoses that I ordered and were upset because they couldn't get the old hose off of my connections to the pipes. It was apparent they couldn't complete their task, so I had them take the merchandise back and I called to cancel the account. When I did that, they asked me to speak with a representative at the local store that was about 30 minutes away from where I live. No problem. I drove to the store and was very impressed with how I was greeted and the service provided the by sales person.

The store was nice and bright and stocked. I told the sales person what I was looking for and to my surprise they had the washing machine I was looking for. They had the matching dryer and like the washing machine, it was only $50 more than the lowest box store price. The set was bottom of the barrel, but I didn't need anything fancy. The sales person showed me some other models that were upgrades and after thinking about everything, I decided to go one model up from the basic and to get the pair. It was smart because I got new appliances with a new manufacturer warranty and having had my other set for more than 10 years, I felt like I was making a good decision for my circumstances.

The sales person got to work on my paperwork when I spotted a floor model MacBook. Was it a 100% necessary? Absolutely not, but with zero percent financing, I decided to purchase it as well. I have to say, my purchases were done with zero sales pressure. I weighed my options that suited my budget and went with it.

I purchased an additional warranty for the washer and dryer, however, cancelled it within the 30 days because I feel like I have the manufacturer's warranty and if it crashes more then 3 times in a year, it would have to be replaced by the manufacturer. Let's move on the signing of the contract, I had a list of questions regarding the 0% financing. What my interest rate was and what would happen if I didn't pay for the items within the 0% financing period? The answer was the interest would be calculated against the original sell price and added to my bottom line. I sat there at the desk and I used my phone calculator and divided the total balance and divided it by 12 months. The result was I would need to pay an additional $100 over and above my minimum payment to not pay interest. And that's what I set out to do.

My delivery went well the 2nd time and the appliances and the MacBook have been working fine. Now we need to move onto making payments. The first payment I made was over the internet using my debit card. It was declined. Tried again, declined. Called customer service to see what the issue was and after having to call several times because the automated system kept routing me to the wrong department, put me into a Spanish queue, disconnecting or getting a busy signal. When I finally got to a representative, I was told their system didn't show I tried to make a payment, so I made the payment over the phone with her and guess what? It went through. That was the point that I was determined to get this account paid within 12 months because I knew they were going to be a hassle.

I set up auto pay to divide my payments based on my pay periods and I've not missed one payment. This is not bragging. It's realizing that if I don't handle my business, this company is going to eat me alive in finance charges and I refuse to deal with them for the life of the loan which was five years. You can't go into this process thinking free credit, because it can cost you big money in the end if you don't make your payments. Read every document and every word of fine print because the terms are stacked against you. Check the prices of competitors out there because maybe it's better for you to save up some money if you don't have to make an emergency purchase. I think Conn's is good for what they offer to the public, but they are in the business to make money, just like everyone else.

In a time of worldwide crisis this places lives up to its name. I came into this store to purchase a deep freezer in order to stock up for the city being put on locked down due to the Coronavirus. For the size of the freezer and the warranty the price was reasonable priced. My and my wife 12 year anniversary is at the end of March so I was looking for a gift for her. I looked at a massage chair for her. I was not necessarily sold because it was something I could, and probably would have come back and gotten at a later date. The most important was the deep freezer. SO the sales lady talked me into getting the chair.

During the signing of the paperwork I specifically asked what the pay off for the freezer and massage chair would be if I had the means to pay it off before even my first payment was due. I was told and pointed out on the contract what the pay off would be. The next day everything was delivered, the very next day I got paid and went to pay off the account and the amount for my pay off doubled. I spoke with the manager and he tried to talked down to me and try to explain how interest works. Which would not have applied in this situation because I only had the merchandise 48 hours. The sales lady admitted to what she told me the pay was and they would not honor that. Then spoke with the district manager and I spoke to their corporate office, with no one willing to honor the price told to me or take back the massage chair.

How do ya’ll live with yourselves ripping veterans off especially during a worldwide crisis. I will never do business with CONN’s because they live up to their name. I will make sure no other person or veteran has to endure being taken advantage of by this company. Your establishment is located in a military town and this is what you all do to us. Dealing with Conn's Home Plus is like dealing with the Sopranos. Their loan shark interest rates are punitive toward people with not so great credit. Don't even go into their store without doing the math about how much interest they will charge you. The formula to calculate interest is very simple. Interest equals principal X rate X time. Principal is the amount you are borrowing. Rate is the amount of interest for example 20% and time is the length of the loan. If the time is quoted in months, divide that number by 12. For example 36 months would be 36 divided by 12 equals 3. If you are not comfortable with business math, there are free websites that will do the math for you as long as you can provide the correct numbers.

Conn's will hound you if you choose not to do business with them so don't go to their store and block their numbers on your phone. Their interest rates and credit terms are available on their website so do the math yourself. You will be so glad you didn't do business with them. The Sopranos may be fictional but Conn's is a very scary business to purchase from.

When you complain, they get really rude over the phone and have very bad customer service skills. I will NEVER buy anything from them again, nor would I EVER recommend them to ANYONE ever again. The interest is so very high and they don't make that completely clear when you sign your agreement. We're paying probably 3 times more for our appliances than they're even worth. After getting the delivery date corrected we received our order. The delivery men came up to the door with the wrong name on the work order with the correct address and of course the wrong merchandise. Second red flag. The drivers said they would go and get the correct model. Ok fine they returned in about 30 minutes with the correct merchandise. Before bringing the refrigerator into the house they were instructed to remove the doors from the refrigerator to avoid damaging it or the property well of course they did not listen damaging the storm door. When we asked where the brochure that come with the refrigerator was they said it was the floor model and they did not have them.

Third and final red flag. The drivers then demanded that we sign for the merchandise. We refused the merchandise after going back and forth with the the drivers and someone from corporate office because no one could tell us what the discount for accepting the floor model would be. We then received a phone call from Conn's corporate office confirming the cancellation. So we proceeded to go to the Conn's location where the purchase was done. At that time we were told by them we could not get the refund until the merchandise had been brought back to the warehouse by the drivers. We made several phone calls to Conn's corporate office. I do not appreciate being told by Alexandria that I don't work for the company and that she does and this is how it works and before hanging up on me that now my refund would take 30 to 45 days now. Would not recommend and will not ever step foot into one of your locations.

Very Poor Experience. When we went to the store the manager was our sales person and we thought he knew what he was talking about. Turns out he did not tell us that the furniture was not a wall hugger even after we discussed that the furniture would be placed on a wall for both couch and love seat. Now that we have it in our house we have to keep the love seat 12 inches off the wall to be able to recline completely back. Contacted the sales manager that sold it to us and he admitted he didn't even know that either. He suggested I call the customer service line since they don't return furniture.

We didn't have time to check out everything about it in our home upon delivery cause they kept pushing our delivery 2 different times and it finally got delivered on the 3rd day. And then promised us to be first stop on the third day and ended up we were last stop when we had already switched plans around twice. So when they came it was 30 min before we were supposed to be at our reserved location and time. We had people waiting on us and therefore we didn't have time to completely check it out and its functionality.

So I called customer service and explained my complaint and she said, "I will document everything and forward this to corporate and you should get a call in 3 business days." 6 days later no call. I sent an email to them for a call back and still waiting on that to this day. So I called customer service back and another lady says, there's nothing they can do cause they have a no return policy for furniture and also states that customer service is corporate, so the last lady lied then. I have looked at several different furniture places and they all have at least a minimum 3 day return policy on even furniture. I would not recommend anyone to go here to buy anything because customer service is a joke and they don't care about the customer or making them happy. Pictures to prove.

He said they have had many complaints on this type of tv. They are discontinuing it because it's too expensive to repair. I received a call from Conn's to go in for a replacement/ and a credit for $983 dollars to replace my tv.

When I got there, picked out another Samsung tv but under the credit amount. Conn's told me I had to get the same type of tv (which are currently being discontinued) and customers are complaining about the same half black screen.. Conn's told me to go home and call back the next day. Conn's took my $983 credit an changed it to $579 which is the exact amount of the defective curve TVs that they are trying to get rid of. This was terrible!!!! I'm still paying on the tv and none of the TVs are equal/similar value cost $579.. Plus I have to purchase a new warranty. So I took the Surface to the store I got it from and explained to the lady what was going on. She listened and told me that they would have to send it out. I explained that I hadn’t even had it two weeks and she said that’s all they could do at store level. I did not feel comfortable sending it somewhere I don’t know due to the fact that there is private company information on it. She said if I had called Microsoft and I said no that I would do that.

After spending 3 hours on the phone with Microsoft they were not able to get it to turn on. They suggested I take it back where I purchased it from and let them know what had been done with no results. I went back to Conn’s (BIG MISTAKE) and let them know what I had done with Microsoft and what the end result was. They stuck to their rehearsed lines that they could not issue a credit at store level. The only ones that can are their technicians. I then told the Manager I wanted to return it because I was within the time of returning and paying a restocking fee. I was told NO BECAUSE IT WAS BROKEN.

Well that beyond upset me and he said that I could do a voluntary reposition. I that point I was beyond mad (and yes I did get belligerent beyond my better judgment and regretfully). I again said it was not my fault that it did not work the. I then said do the voluntary repo but that I would fight it because they sold a faulty merchandise. I was given a piece of paper. I asked the salesgirl where to sign. She sarcastically said, "Read the paper." I then turned to the manager who proceeded to tell me to get out of his store that he was not going to help me anymore due to the fact that I cursed at his employee. I did apologize (I know a little too late). He said no that he was going to call the police. Not wanting to go to jail on a Friday I left.

Before anyone from this store or anyone else replies to this review yes they offered to send it off to get it fixed. That is just like buying a brand new car. It breaks and winds up in the shop for two to three weeks and still expected to pay for it. How would I know if I would get a new one or a refurbished one when I bought one brand new. There is no one that I know of that would go for this. Being in customer service for several years and for them to make absolutely no attempt to satisfy a customer in any way (besides sending an item that I had not had even two weeks) this is absolutely very poor customer service. No one in that store cared and were snickering and rolling their eyes. I took advantage of their 0% interest for a year and this is what I get. Next time I know better not to trust this company.

For those of you that give 5 star review to Conn's great for you. I will discourage anyone from going there. I will now pay the interest on a credit card than deal with these CONN’S....

If I could give negative stars to Conn's I would. I called to pay my balance off in December which I did. I told them that I was not going to pay the insurance as I had not be renting for several months. I was not once told that I could provide my family members policy to show that I was not paying rent and they would take the insurance off. Not only that but they did not say that the APR would start from the beginning of the loan. Now I owe $1300 on insurance charges that could have be rectified the first 10 times that I called them to discuss this with them. If you need furniture your better off going to a business that will set up your payments so that you can pay off the furniture without interest being tact on.

This is Monday and they are telling me it may be Friday before I get an exchange. I will never buy from this company again and the reason being they are not as interested in me getting my washer /dryer as they are the first payment. Every day they call here wanting payment. I said, "You will get the first payment when I get to do my laundry on a brand new washer and dryer." GE is just as guilty as Conns. Im sorrry but a new washer dryer should not go out in 3 wks.

We went on vacation December 5th until the 19th. Called Conn's and someone came out a couple of days later. He measured and found that it was sagging. Today conn's has told me it is my fault because it doesn't have proper support. A box spring and 3 slats isn't enough. I need 5 slats. I wasn't given any paperwork telling me I need more support. The delivery man didn't say anything and I asked if I should put it on plywood and he said it wasn't necessary. So now we have a mattress that sags after sleeping on it for 7 nights. It's unbelievable, I called 4 different Conn's this afternoon and not one salesman told me I needed anything other than a box spring and I recorded every call.

When I went to make payment they had added all the interest for a year of $362.00. My washer went out and being the end of year I just needed to finance one I so went online and applied and was approved for credit and went 60 miles to their store to replace my washer. After doing paperwork I was told that a United States passport would not work as a i.d and I would have to go to DMV and sit all day to get a state i.d or renew my driver's liscense. Neither is a option because I can't sit 8 hours at dmv BECAUSE of my leg and can't pass a driving test which they now want because it's been expired so long because of stroke and I am still partially paralyzed on left side and considered disabled.

After talking to 4 different people at corporate I was talked down to belittled given different b.s excuses from, "passports don't have numbers and can't be scanned" which are both wrong to finally be told it was policy with no explanation at all. Evidently people with a United States goverment i.d whom cannot jump through hoops for them aren't welcome. How can someone with a disability and a legitimate federal i.d that is accepted at any goverment office or bank in the country be treated this way.

My wife and I went with her 83 year old mother to Conn's new Clearance Center on Rankin November 2019 to find her a new washer and dryer for her. The buying experience was very friendly and pleasant. Ted was excellent and very understanding of the elderly. Since the November 15th delivery it has been a nightmare for an elderly person. The first washer made some terrible noises, and they did replace it immediately. That was good service but that's where it stopped. The second washer the fill cycle did not stop automatically but luckily she caught it and unplugged the washer to stop the water from flooding her apartment. She called and set up a appointment for Monday December 16th. She stayed home all day waiting for a call, that never happened.

She got a text that afternoon that read "no one home. You need to reschedule." It is a 4 story building with a receptionist. (Really). Conn's rescheduled the appointment for Tuesday December 17th. Again never received a call, but did get another text cancelling appointment "due to emergency". (Really) Conn's then set the appointment for today December 19th. She was supposed to get a call between 7:00 and 9:00am this morning, she didn't. At 2:30 pm she called my wife and said she was done with Conn's. My wife called The service department at 3pm and talked to Alfred. Alfred told my wife that Aaron the service tech would be at her apartment between 2 and 4pm and he would call him to verify.

As soon as she hung up Aaron texted her mother again and said he was "have to order a motherboard." Conn's will let you know when it comes in and then you will have to call and set up another appointment. I am sitting waiting for Dwayne ** (service manager's name given to me by my salesperson) to return my call. So my 83 year old Mother in law has been stood up 3 times and then is told they would have to order the part. Why did they not do that when the service call was first set up?

Purchased a washer in 2016. Within 2 weeks the mother board fried. Conn's initially refused to repair it it. I had to go into the store I purchased it from balling my eyes out with my newborn baby to find out why I bought a $3000 washer/dryer that was faulty and the extended warranty wouldn't cover it. Reluctantly they ordered a new mother board and I've had problems every since. It leaks water. Flooded my apartment costing me $2500 in repairs to the sheetrock, baseboards and tile. Every part has been replaced on it at least once some more than once and it still leaks. In 2016 the service tech said he was escalating it for a replacement. Appt 3 it was denied. I submitted another request and the service tech hit on me and tried to get me to call him directly instead of going through Conn's. Which is frightening. I reported it to corporate, they apologized. Offered to look into the issue and still nothing.

Rather fearful of being assaulted in my home I dealt with the leak using a towel under the washer. During my husband's time off I put in another request knowing he would be home. The tech came out, the washing machine was running and leaking water. He didn't bother to check it or test it. He said it had been opened too many times and would escalate it. I waited and waited, never hearing anything. A couple months later I put in another request online. That one was ignored.

Finally I called and sat on hold for one hour waiting to file a complaint. The rep escalated it and it was denied. A tech came out, found a leak, repaired the leak, ran a test and it leaked again. He called in to escalate it and also reported the digital component was also not working. Now Conn's is dragging out replacement of the digital component and ignoring the unresolved leak till my warranty ends. Do Not purchase from this company. You'll waste your money. Definitely don't think a warranty is going to cover anything and make sure you always have someone with you for service calls for your safety.

My husband and I had our fridge break the day before Thanksgiving. I went to the store to purchase a new refrigerator. I picked out a refrigerator and was told it was in stock and could be delivered the following Saturday. The card was in his name, but he works 9-8 and would not have had a chance to purchase. He added me as an authorized “other” user and was told I would be able to make the purchase at the store. The store would not allow me to make the purchase. No big deal we decided to just order online. When we received the confirmation and delivery date and few hours later it was set for a week out (12/7). They said they would call to give us the time. No call or email.

We decided to call so we could plan our day. Upon calling we are told it would be a 110 minute wait. I decided to wait and attempt to online chat. The online chat was a waste of time. “Candy” was no help. Would just leave me hanging for way too long and offered no resolution. Finally a gentleman answered and I spoke to him. He was more helpful but still no resolution. The appliance was in stock while I was at the store and when I ordered it, but then he states it is no longer in stock and I will not receive it until 12/15. That isn’t even guaranteed because there is no date for when it is coming back into stock.

The whole situation is extremely frustrating due to the utter lack of communication and “you're out of luck” attitude of the customer service reps. What kind of business is this that they would find it acceptable to not notify customers of delivery changes and not give options, especially when it is a necessary appliance like a refrigerator. If we would have known it would have taken this long, we would have purchased somewhere else. We will NEVER shop at Conn’s again. Nor would we recommend Conn’s. This experience has been terrible.

When I pointed out that it wasn't finished they said "Well I dont know" so I told them to just leave. So they were gone before I noticed and they took MY TOOLS!!!! So as my wife and I finished putting it together we noticed more damage and let customer service know when they did a follow up call. I was never given the chance to even look at the forms as the employee disappeared back into the warehouse to take his lunch break. The packaging of the fridge appeared to be free of damage so we drove 2.5 hours home. After we got it in the house and removed the packaging we found a large dent in the door underneath the styrofoam packaging. I don’t blame Conn’s for this, they most likely received it that way from the manufacturer.

The next day I contacted the store to see what could be done. The store claims they can’t do anything and referred me to the warehouse manager, Laura. Well, I called Laura for 4 days and was told each time she was out but should return shortly. I left my name and number each time. I have yet to hear back from Laura. I filed a complaint through the BBB. Their response was that there was nothing they could do since I signed the waiver. Only I didn’t sign the waiver! Well 2 weeks passed. Nobody call me. I called in to tell me somebody will going to call me again.

Well nobody call me and finally I say, "You don't know what. I don't want your stuff. Come and pick it up." They say they can come pick it up but they're still going to be on my credit so I say come and fix this problem, Conn's customer service said, "Someone he's going to call you. How about the day of the service?" Okay. Again nobody call me back so I call again that was like a month and a half doing that calling calling and calling, finally the person say, "Is being more than a month already. We cannot do anything about it." And I you say, "I be calling you from the first day that I happen and you didn't fix it so that's why is more than a month already because ya didn't take care that problem the first day."

So to today's day I be making payment. Is so frustrated. This store really didn't care about their customers. I regret putting a foot in the store and I call and tell them if they can go lower in the monthly payment and they're say they cannot do that because the system didn't allow them. This really ridiculous store. I will never ever put a foot in the store and I will make sure 100% that no one in my family or my friend put a foot in the store. STAY AWAY FROM CONN'S FURNITURE STORE.

My girlfriend purchased and has been paying for this TV every month on time and we had a storm that damaged the TV on June 23, 2019. We contacted Conn's Conn's and was told the Property insurance would cover this so we asked what needed to be done to get this started. To make a very long story short, almost 4 months later with payments still being made on time, we have been bounced back and forth between the Insurance and Service departments EVERY TIME we contact them, finally on 10/16 I was told they were going to have a tech contact us to set up the repair, or to determine if it needed to just be replaced.

Well WITH ONLY $700 LEFT ON THE BALANCE DUE TILL IT'S PAID FOR, I was told by the Service department today (10-19-19) that they don't have tech that services my area, which is about 25 miles from where we got the TV, and that we need to see what, if anything, the insurance department will do. Well based off my experience with this company, they don't have any plans to fix it, BUT THEY WANT THEIR PAYMENTS STILL!!! I've advised my girlfriend to stop the payments and contact an Attorney, the BBB and anyone else she can to MAYBE let these people know they can't keep ripping people off... Bottom line, Conn's got that name based off what they planned to do to people, "Conn" them out of money... Very horrible company!!!

About 2 months ago my Husband, Father-in-Law and I went to purchase two mattresses from Conn's. We were having trouble deciding whether or not to get the soft or medium firm mattresses. We ask the sales girl (Mira) if the mattresses didn't work for us would we be able to exchange them. She told us yes several times (as we asked several times). As long as we kept mattress protectors on them, had them longer than 30 days after purchase, and under 3 months after purchase.

To begin with they sent the wrong mattress on the queen size and it took us over a week to get the right one. After having the mattresses for 2 months we decided that we needed the medium firm ones instead of the soft. We took a trip to Conns to tell them we wanted to exchange the mattresses, were met by the manager and told that our mattresses did not qualify for exchange. He told us to wait to see what he could do we waited for over 2 hours just to be told that there was nothing that he could do. Not only that but when we were waiting for the 2 hours to be told there was nothing they could do.

A random sales person came up to us to see if we needed help. My husband pretended that we were new customers and asked him about the same mattresses that we had already purchased. He asked him if we weren't comfortable with the mattresses over a certain period of time if we would be able to exchange them. Can you guess what he said? I'm sure that you can!! We called the corporate office, were told we could fill out an incident report, and someone would contact us within 24-72 hours. Today customer service finally contacted us only to tell us that they were sorry that we were misinformed (lied to for the sale) but our mattresses were not on the list of mattresses that could be exchanged. They gave us the number to the manufacturer and told us that they may be able to help us.

I will now do everything in my power to make sure that everyone knows about the unprofessional customer service that Conns offers! My husband and I can deal with the mattress that we have as we are still young but, my Father-in-Law is 84 years old and has hip problems. The mattress that he has is hurting him at night when he sleep. $4000 spent just to get horrible treatment!

I bought a living room set and a tv from Conn's two years ago and was making payments on time until I lose my job. I have made payments when I could to keep up but Conn's has harassed me ever since. They will call you from phone numbers all over Texas every day all day. They will email you constantly threatening to charge off your account. The merchandise I bought from them broke 3 months after I bought it and I still tried to pay them. Beware. If you do business with them and get behind on payments they will bother you unmercifully. It’s not worth doing business with them. Go elsewhere!

To begin we received our contract by email after delivery was agreed to be completed. The Payments, Provisions, and Interest rate was never revealed at point of sale. The payments were to be $90.00 a month for 36 months. When we received the contract they became $138.00 a month. When we were discussing the service policy on the products the sales agent was told we wanted more service policies and they were arbitrarily added to the contract. The interest rate was never disclosed. When the contract was received it was 32% which at point of sale was not disclosed which is not acceptable. There was a $100.00 dollar contract inception fee added that was not disclosed. Also credit life insurance was added without disclosure. On top of everything else we were charge a premium for property insurance that also was not disclosed.

This transaction has not agreed elements of the original discussion at the point of sale and I have indicated cancellation of delivery and am in the process of canceling the complete agreement as to completely dishonest non disclosure of all points of the sale agreement. This is not we we agreed to at the point of sale and none of these provisions are in line with the original agreed terms that we presented to the sales representative.
