We've already used Closet World before and they kept having promotions. They did a good job with the two closets we had them work on. They fixed my husband's closet so that it's tri-level and shirts and pants could be put in there. The designer took her time getting it all together and it came out good! Installation was done in one day and the installers were clean and friendly. They were efficient and we're happy.

I got a flyer about Closet World in my mailbox. I then went with them for bookcases for my library. The designer was great and wonderful and the guy who did the installation was fabulous. The designer and the installer were way more than I expected. They were so good. The whole thing was excellent.

I had the most horrible experience with Closet World. They came and did my service on September 30th. It was a walk-in closet, 2X12 room, the two side walls and rear walls were based on the options she gave me from the magazine but it's not what that picture was. I chose the picture with doors on the cabinet but they gave an open cabinet that didn't even look right. It needed two doors and one shelf and the one that I chose was a glass door. I'm stuck now with what I already have and I cannot go any further with it. After this is done, I'm going to write a big, big story about them everywhere I can.

Closet World gave a free estimate so, when they came over and gave me the book that had a lot of designs, I chose to go with them based on how everything looked and how professional they presented. I told the designer what I want and she drew it. Our design was not good and the installers only did what she drew. She told me that whatever I want is not what I'm getting. And, now, we cannot even get a hold of her and they will not give me what was promised. I wish someone has some kind of power to do something about it. When I searched on Yelp, I'm not the only one who had a bad experience. Everything was screwed up. I'm never going to deal with them ever again.

I wanted to give the designer the benefit of the doubt but when she came, she kept telling me whatever I want, whatever size etc. So, I said I don't want too extreme but I'll choose two pictures. If it was based on the two pictures, I'll be happy. When she left, she told me that she was going on vacation. Two or three days later, I got a phone call from the office of Closet World because the designer didn't even provide them the design or the contract. So, I had to do her work by taking pictures and emailing them all the information so they can start the process. But they took half of my money on the day the designer came when they didn't even process it correctly.

After 20 to 30 phone calls, the manager was back-and-forth with me with a couple of emails and told me that he doesn't have any proof of what was promised to me. So, I asked him to get a hold of the designer but he couldn't so he ended up saying that he is not going to help me because he doesn't believe in what I'm saying and that I need to deal with sales. So, I called the sales manager and they said the manager will call me back. A day went by and no one called me. Next day, I called then finally, a manager called me back. She told me to write a report and someone will follow-up with me. I did that. Two or three days passed, no one followed up with me. I called sales department and passed me on to a corporate office but the manager in that department was not available. The lady told me the manager's name when I asked and that she's writing my complaint down and that she's going to call me next day. The next day, she did not call me.

The weekend passed. I looked up the corporate office number on the internet only to find out that there was no such name and no complaint was written down. So, the lady transferred my call to the manager and he told me that he's going to call me back the next day to let me know what they can do, and they said they're going to give me what is not done. I initially agreed on a price of $3,600 based on what the designer told me that she's giving me everything I wanted, because that was my maximum budget. I'm thinking that I'm getting everything.

Finally, someone from the corporate office is taking care of the things that they messed up. But now, the guy told me that the glass door's $1,000 and that they cannot give me a glass door but they'll give me a wood door. So, I'm stuck with either I take that wood door or I'm stuck with unfinished job. And I'm not going to get any refund if I want to cancel or not come and take it. I'm not getting what I thought I was going to get.

Bought closets and organizers from Closet World as a referral from my sister. She's very picky and I know that she likes them. Closet World's designer was awesome and the installers did a really great job. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. They came back because they wanted an additional closet done and while they were here, I mentioned to the designer that I had a small nick on one of my shelves. She said it was not a problem and they'll have that replaced. And when they installed the new one they did it at no cost. So I've been very happy.

Everything was done on time and everything was as we discussed. They also called to check up on everything if it was working properly and we never had any issues with the installer. They were courteous, professional, and efficient, and I’m happy with what I got.

Closet World was referred to me by my real estate agent. I had closets done in two children's rooms, as well as a walk-in closet. The designer was nice, and I had no problems with her. The installation team was great, too. However, they had to come back a couple of times because there were some measurement issues and parts that they didn't have, so they had to fix all that. But the state of the whole job was fine.

My son, however, is quite unhappy with his closet because the design was too much in a small space. In hindsight, there's this cookie cutter thing that Closet World does, like the drawers and the bi-level hanging things. I believe the designer was trying to do her job and it's no fault of hers but more of a Closet World issue that I have. The closet is not usable. It's an extremely poor design, but there's nothing I can do about that except re-do the whole thing or get rid of all of it and just put in a bar. I said I wanted a closet designed, and they delivered but because I said I wanted a closet designed, the designer was behooved to put in a design, and she only had a few things to choose from. Since my closet turned out great, I would still recommend them, but with a heavy heart.

Closet World has very responsive people who contacted me, and that's why I had them install a working closet in my home. The designer was great, really fantastic, and very nice. She told me that she's new at Closet World, but she's very patient and took one step at a time. The installers showed up on time, did a professional job, and actually finished earlier than I expected. So far, so good. Everything is in the right place and quality is good. The only thing is that I was expecting 100% financing, and I found out at the end that I have to put 20% down, and they only finance up to 80% but that’s okay.

The Closet World designer came and he took the wrong measurement. The products came on time, but then there was a sliding door that had to be done. The guy who installed it thought he had to cut the back side of the door because the doors are glass doors. He installed the back and then when he tried to install the door, it didn't fit. I asked the guy why it's not fitting and he said that it’s gonna take a longer time. I asked when he could do it and he said within one week. This was not the way it should have been done because the designer should have made some adjustment.

After a week, I called Closet World and they didn't send anybody. They said it was not ready and that it would be ready on so and so date, and then that so and so date came and they said they didn't have workers. The next day, this guy came really late in the night and they put it in. The guy before him couldn't fix the wardrobe but took the check from me and the project wasn't completed. I said I needed my check back but he said they needed the payment upfront. The manager was also very mean. In the end, the job was done but it was such a pain to do it. It was a bad experience overall.

We chose Closet World because of their dynamite young lady who came out and gave us an estimate. She was great. The installation team was also pretty good. Though I didn't like that they got some glue on my concrete right outside the garage door, I'm very happy with what they did all in all. They came in, got our storage done in a short fashion, and it looks good. It gives us a little room in our garage and I'm now able to get both cars in for a change.

I had my shelf and two cabinet doors in the laundry room installed through Closet World. The designer was very good but the installers were just awful. They broke something in my house and try to cover it up and then when I called their foreman they got pissy with my mother-in-law and weren't very friendly with her. I wasn't able to stay the whole time and then they turned off my gas line and refuse to turn it back on, so I had to pay a plumber to do that. They reimbursed me, but I wasn't happy about it.

We had plans to use them for two other jobs for sure but we're looking for something else now. The designer was really friendly but I was really shocked with the way it turned out on the install. They pushed back the installation about two weeks because they didn't build the proper product so they had to come back out and re-measure and I wasn't very happy about that either. All in all it was not a good experience. The shelves look alright but after I found out they broke something, I don't think they put the proper effort during the installation. I'm very dissatisfied.

When we made the deal to put the desk in, I thought it came with a center tray for the keyboard but it turned out that wasn’t a part of the deal. The Closet World saleslady who was very nice wanted to make a wider module on the one side and I said that I’d like more legroom in the middle so when that got changed, the keyboard thing got dropped out so that was a surprise. Then when I ordered the keyboard and tray and put it in, it didn’t line up right because of the things that weren’t squared so that’s when I reinstalled it so that things lined up correctly. Also, a couple of the parts came chipped already on the edge where the corners meet. The guys who did the installing got so much time and they gotta get on their way. There was a bit of a problem for them with the wall plug and we didn’t take time to discuss how to deal with that so they let things get out of line. But overall I'm satisfied.

I previously had Closet World install custom cabinets and shelving for me in my home in Whittier. Two installers came out and did an excellent job, and the cabinets they installed were fine and good. However, there were a few glitches with one of the shelves on one of my built-in cabinets. I spoke with the manager for the installers and they made the correction right there in the field, so I don't have any problems with them.

This time, I had them install plantation shutters on nine windows on the second floor. The shutters that we already had in the house had been installed previously by another company and I wanted to also have shutters installed on the second floor. The designer from Closet World that came out was fine and seemed to know what she was talking about. We interacted well and she gave me a nice discount which I was grateful for. I called the Oscar, who had measured the windows, because he gave me his business card. I said, "I really felt good about my interaction with you. Is it okay if you come out and install my blinds?" and he said, "No problem." He came out and installed the blinds. I was surprised that he came out by himself as I thought he was going to need a crew for sure because shutters had to be installed for nine windows. But he did the work and was very professional, and even made some repairs to the ones we already had.

Oscar and I walked through the house and I asked him some questions on what we needed to do to care for the shutters. He explained that we had a lifetime warranty on the shutters and this is transferable to the buyer of the home should we ever decide to sell it. He was very thorough and rendered good customer service. I was very happy with him and really enjoyed our working together. Closet World did a great job. I'll use them again and recommend them. They're a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

We had Closet World install a small upper and lower cabinet in a space in the master bedroom and a large area in the garage. Their designer, Mike, was great. He said, and it’s stated in writing, that we’d be charged 50% upfront when we ordered the cabinets. And upon completion, the balance of the amount would be charged to my credit card. However, they charged the credit card for the second balance. They came with basically everything perfect for the master bedroom but, half of the garage was wrong. Whatever changes Mike put in, apparently the workers were never told or they didn’t double check. Mike didn’t leave my house until we had all the changes in the garage done and the installers were not happy about having to come back.

From reading Yelp and online reviews, apparently this was a problem with Closet World. They bill people with regularity before the job is complete and it was $2,600. The whole thing was almost $5,500 and Harry, the rep, billed another $2,600 the day that they came to do everything and they couldn’t finish for another 10 days. He lied when he said he would reverse the charges, he didn’t so we had to postpone our move. I don’t care if their prices are cheaper but I would never deal with them again. Mike was honest but Harry was a liar and I don't like being lied to. I don’t care if they gave it to me for free. I’m happy with the product that they delivered although the workers did leave nails and screws all over the driveway. They didn’t take very much time to clean up.

I knew that they were trying to get the job finished as quickly as possible, but I would fix that because if the neighborhood had flat tires because of all the nails racing down my driveway they wouldn’t be very happy with them or me. I put my online comment public as well but If I had gone there first I probably wouldn’t have used Closet World because what was in there was damaging. We were trying to get the job finished as quickly as possible as we needed to move but realized we did not have enough storage so we weren’t able to move out of one house into the other. They didn’t have the right materials and right sized pieces. It’s interesting that they did it for the master bedroom, but not for the garage and the garage was much more custom pieces.

Their designer was exceptional, very friendly, and knowledgeable and I really liked him. He made some very good suggestions. If it hadn’t been for him, I probably would have gotten a second quote but it went downhill after that. Now that it’s all done and we’re moved in and settled, we’re happy with the product but we weren’t happy with the experience with the service rep's lying and the delay. He did not tell the truth about the additional 50% that he said would be reversed.

I would not recommend it but I would say to a friend to go read the online comments. I’m not the only one that has had this happen, which tells me that there’s a control issue somewhere within the company, a lack of oversight and the workers are not being told of changes and not given the right materials. They knew when they got here that they didn’t have the right materials for the garage so that tells me that they were experienced. When I met with the designer I said that we are under a huge time crunch to get it done and he said they’ll fit us in the first opening. I got a phone call later that day and it was two weeks before they could get us in. That’s two weeks and then we had to wait another 10 days after that, so there didn’t seem to be a whole lot of attention paid to the final plans. Overall, it has been a frustrating experience.

The first time I used Closet World was a good experience but the second time around wasn't. I had three walk-in closets and had alterations in one of the closets. They charged me $200 for that and that was fine. But, I didn't like the closet. It looked unfinished. The quality of the wood was different and I wasn't satisfied with the quality of work. I called their office twice. One, to let them know I wasn't satisfied and the second call to let them know that I needed some repairs done. However, I have to take some responsibility for it because I didn't ask, "Can I get a better feel or a better look on the closets?" When I got it done the first time, I had a better upgrade. I had more trim on it and more crown molding. That's why I called Closet World back out to do my new home but I didn't get the same quality of closets that I had the first time around.

The salesperson who initially came out to give me the sales pitch did a good measurement. She did what I asked her to do and she got all of my clothes in the closet. But the contractors didn't do a good job. They were sloppy. They didn't clean up behind themselves and I had to be careful and pick up all of the little nails that they had left laying around. Then one of the rails fell and they had to come back down and do that and they made a mess again. I left them doing what they did because the first time around, the guy was good. He tore out the closets, put in new closets, and there wasn't a piece of trash anywhere. If they ever come back out again, I'll micromanage them and make sure when they finished what they do, they pick up their stuff, take their trash with them, and pick up all the nails off the floor.

I considered doing the closet work on my own but it wouldn't have been very good, so I decided to go with a professional. One of the deciding factors for me to request a quote was to look at ratings and what people had to say about these companies so I went through Angie's List, looked at reviews and saw that Closet World had a sale. The woman who did the assessment was really nice and also told us right away that she could give us a bigger discount because she was an instructor. But my only complaint was she never asked us what we wanted and it felt like were getting sold up. We had to go a few rounds of saying that what she's saying was not our budget before we came to an agreement on the design and the price, wherein she took stuff out of the job.

Then another thing I didn't like is that the designer came on a Saturday and they didn't even call me until that following Thursday to schedule an appointment. Then they gave me a date but couldn't give a time. They only told me a time on Thursday. It seemed like they don't give me a lot of time to tell me when they're gonna be there. I presumed that the gal who does the schedule doesn't know how many jobs there are and that they gotta come up with a schedule. They can't come up with schedules until the day before.

My wife said that during the installation, the guy was really good, fast and clean. He did his thing and left. But I thought about calling because he must have taken the molding off around the corners in the closet which we put in when I remodeled and got new furniture. Maybe the molding was all in small pieces and that he took those in the trash with him. But we had just put the molding in and it was brand new so it couldn't have come off and get stripped. But he obviously took it with him. I would've preferred that he'd asked if he could take it, not just take it. My wife, who was here at the time, said he said nothing about it and that she wasn't watching him either. Apart from those, the work came out really nicely and we've been really happy with the outcome.

We previously had Closet World do our closet in our house, and the installation went great. Now, we had them make a custom-made desk for my daughter and installed a shelf in my laundry, too. But the first attempt to install wasn't good. In the laundry the installer removed the wall base to fit the shelf but never put it back so right now I gotta find and buy a base, cut it off, put it on and paint it. So now, we have a laundry without the base part.

The installer was a nice guy but the material was damaged. They called us and we told them about it so they came and redid the measurement. But when they came last week, they didn’t have everything ready and the measurement and materials were wrong. Then they came yesterday. My wife asked for different materials but it looks like they installed the same one and especially when I get into the room, I can see that it’s cheap all around. But my wife decided to do the installation because she was frustrated as we need the desk for my daughter. When I got home, she said the material was the same and said "don't talk to me" like she was unhappy. Other than that, the service is great. It took them almost a month to come back and get the desk reinstalled.

We had a leak inside an adjoining wall between the master bathroom and master bedroom. On the other side of the wall was a Closet World closet system and about 40%-50% of it was completely damaged from the water. We asked Closet World to come over to assess the damages and estimate how much it’s going to cost us. The designer came and took the measurements from the existing part of the closet. Everything was 16 inches. We came up with an agreement and we’re going to pay a set amount of money.

First time the installers came, they didn’t have the right dimensions because everything they had was 12 inches. When we spoke with someone on the phone, we were told it’s not a big deal and it's really not much different. Are you kidding me? We’re doing a repair. It's not a new design. First, even the baskets are not going to fit in to it because they are 16 inches. Second, how would you like to have half of your blouses or jackets sticking out from the closet? He said if we want to have the 16 inches like we previously had, we’re going to have to pay almost $500 for that. Why do I have to pay additional $500 for someone who is completely not capable to even put the dimensions? It's not my problem someone was idiot and took the wrong measurement. We settled for $300.

Then the installer didn’t have some other parts, so he had to come back a third time. It took us too long and too much money to spend for a company that is completely unreliable. We are not happy. I would never buy anything from Closet World. The biggest bunch of ** I ever dealt with in my life. I will just stick with them because I cannot use another company if I have an already existing closet.

I was redoing a house for our customer and they wanted closets. I didn't want to build them so I hired Closet World. They charge too much money and the products are not constructed all that well. There are a lot of particle board. It fits but I wouldn't use them for myself. Also, the designer was a pushy lady that needed her money. She needed quotas or something like that of a very typical salesman.

After I paid them, I contacted them for a W9 and the guy basically told me to piss off. That was kind of a shock to me because I'm not a big contractor, but we did about a $670,000 job and he was the only one who refused to give me a W9. I would've asked for the W9 before I gave them a dime as a W9 is important. But it wasn't my money so it didn't matter to me that much. I thought the customer was getting a better product than they got. They were happy but I'm not as they don't know any better and I do. I don't hate Closet World but their advertising outshadows their ability to perform well. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

My wife had estimates from two other companies which were within $300 to $400 of each other, but the price of Closet World made us select them. We had some drawers, shelves and hanging racks installed in her closet which went nicely. The gentleman was on time, professional and cleaned up after himself. Then one thing I really liked was on that day, someone from the company called to make sure that everything was going well. That was nice.

I met with another closet company and Closet World has the lower price. However, when I was sold the walk-in closet and I paid, I was told that it would be installed at a certain time. I called to confirm that time with my salesperson once and she did. However, a few days before the installation, I was told by the installation team that it would be a different time and that was a big inconvenience. It was very stressful because I had to set up my whole day, take off work, and figure out childcare at that time. In the end, they were able to accommodate me, but there was some miscommunication. Other than that, the installation went fine.

We started with the cabinets in the garage and I showed their rep the totes that we've put all the Christmas stuff in which would fit in a 24-inch cabinet. She did all her measuring and said that there was enough space on one side to have a 29-inch closet. But she wrote it for three 36-inch cabinets instead of 24-inch, so I can't get as much into them. It was not what I really wanted.

The people from Closet World were the first that we got a quote from. Their designer spent a lot of time with us measuring and coming up with the details of drawing what we talked about that I wanted. I have a guy that does built-ins and I asked him for a quote and it came in about the same. And because the designer came out and spent all those time measuring, I gave her the job.

Their installers did a good job too. The only real hiccup as far as the timing was that the installers were supposed to come later in the day, but they ended up showing up pretty early. I was at Costco when they called me so I raced home, but it worked out. Another thing I would make sure that they are very sure of is that they don’t patch the walls from what they took out. It looks really bad so I ended up having somebody come back again. I know that’s part of the deal but it should be really clear to somebody that’s getting their closets done. It should be clear that they won’t take what they removed either.

My experience with Closet World is pretty good overall. The designer was very good, and the material and the look of the closet is very good, too. However, I wasn’t completely happy about the installation. It was not as smooth and quick as I thought it would be. I didn't know that when they removed the previous closet, they didn't patch and paint. So, I wasn't prepared because I need to patch and paint the walls which now look awkward. And I'm still waiting for something to be completed for an outlet. They have come and saw that was missing. It was an error on the designer’s part and I have to change an electrical outlet.

I was also very surprised to see that the project was pretty big but they only sent one man to complete it. He had to complete it in three days. And he started pretty late every day at about 12:00 because he was coming from another job. I have used California Closet before and they brought a whole team. They started early and tried to finish the same day as much as they could.

Closet World is the sole company in my area that could provide the type of installation that I wanted for my closet, so I chose their company. The designer was very helpful in bringing out a sample of the product and went over the designs with me. That was good. However, I was not satisfied with the actual product once it was delivered to my house. The team was on time and the installation was completed; however, there was some damage to some of the shelving. I was told initially someone would come back, but they refused. What they decided to do was send me some additional shelving through the mail.

My real issue and complaint with the closet was that it was not the quality that was shown in the demonstration and the sample that was brought. It is a very cheap material which they told me is the same, but there is no way, and I was very disappointed in that. The product that they bring out as a sample should definitely be the same as what I'm paying for. When I called back to inquire about the quality and wanted to find out what my options were after the installation, the salesperson didn't want to deal with me and said that was between me and the actual company to call them. I wouldn't recommend Closet World to anybody.

My girlfriend used Closet World a few years ago and didn't say anything bad about it. Then the company had a special on the coupons they send out, so I went with that. I had looked at Home Depot but their cost was higher, they wouldn't deliver it to the house and I would've had to put everything in myself or ask the grumpy husband to help me. Also, their product was a bit more of an entailed closet type, which would've been overkill, instead of what I got from Closet World which was what I needed.

I had Closet World put a whole closet unit on one whole wall and then drawers, places for shoes and purses in one of our spare bedrooms. I loved the designer! She was amazing and kind. What a sweetheart. We got along right when she walked in the door. I told her I had a real small budget but once I took her into the room and told her what I wanted, she put it together. She knew exactly what I needed just by looking at the room. I was really impressed with her. I would like to use her again if I could ever get a few more things done at the house.

The installer was also very good and sweet. He got in there, did his work and was in and out - no wasted time. He also cleaned up nicely, which was good for a guy because most of them don't. He helped me too because when it was gonna get a little out of my budget, he suggested to not put a back on it and just attach it to my wall. That saved me a lot of money, which I really appreciated. He was wonderful. The unit is rock solid and wonderful. It's a difference between night and day when I go in that room and finally see everything that I had wanted to put on. It's like a little fairy tale closet which I'm sure all girls would like to have.

Tara ** was the sales rep from Closet World that came to our home, late Dec, to give us an estimate for garage cabinets and flooring. We let her know that we had to stay within a budget for this project and that we also had an appointment with Home Depot for an estimate as well. She proceeded to take all the necessary measurements and inspect our garage and then gave us a quote that worked with our budget and ensured us that this would be completed within 2-3 weeks. Because she met our requirements we cancelled the other estimate.

When the installers arrived they were not able to do anything because Ms. ** not only submitted inaccurate measurements, blocking the ability to open a garage door, but she failed to tell us that piping along the back wall would mean that the cabinets could not be installed correctly, but rather have to stick out by a substantial amount. The piping in clear view and something that she should have both seen upon inspection, and discussed with us as an issue and probable expense we would have prior to the install. She also failed to note and discuss with us outlets that would need to be moved for us to have any power in the garage.

We had to hire a handyman, putting us outside our budget by a substantial amount, to move forward, and then wait for the correct size of cabinets to arrive. When we attempted to follow up with her (because she didn't update us, or even apologize for her error), we were given a client number, told we would have to contact the service department for any help and that the matter was out of her hands. We were also informed that our new cabinet order was reported by Tara as a "customer change", instead of a measurement error on her part, which made our job less of a priority and we were pushed behind all other open orders. Full payment for cabinets had been taken at this point, and they refused to reverse the charge.

To date the floors have not been installed and we have been told once again to call the service dept ourselves but not to expect delivery or install for at least a month. For this project we have moved everything from the garage into our home. We were told when placing the order that the job would be complete in Jan and as of today there is no completion date. Tara has never once apologized. She has been rude, completely unhelpful, cost us a substantial amount of money we had not budgeted for, and caused a lot of stress with the inconvenience of having our home in disarray for such a long period of time. We were told today that if we go through someone else to get the job completed we will be penalized and forfeit monies paid.

Don't go on their website to look at the review because those are all good reviews that they handpicked from their small amount of satisfied customers. Maybe those review are not even real. The first problem I had with them was when the designer came out to my home. When he took the measurements and started designing the Home Office. I told him what I wanted very clearly. I told the designer that I would have a desktop here and to make sure there would be enough room for the monitor, keyboard and mouse. I also made sure to tell him that it should be comfortable and I would not have to sit at a weird angle where I have to completely bend my back just to face the screen. He assured me that wouldn't be a problem.

The office turned out terrible and as if the designer had ignored everything I told him, even the install crew were surprised. They didn't understand how I was supposed to sit and work at this desk. My only mistake in this situation was signing the final documents and not thoroughly reviewing the design plan. The Home Office Closet World made for me was exactly the opposite of what I told the designer. I have been trying schedule an appointment for two months now, each time I call they tell me that they scheduled an appointment to come out and see the problem but no one shows up. I have finally talked to someone who said that this will be passed on to a design manager. Still don't know if I will be able to resolve this.

The following is a summary of some of the complaints that I have: 1) Designer never understood my needs; 2) Office design was not designed to my needs or expectations; 3) The installation was promised on a certain date and the order was never placed; 4) Measurements were not taken correctly. Important things like space for other drawers to open and main light switches were overlooked when creating office design. Different pieces had to be ordered twice; 5) CW did not have the handles that were recommended by designer until after 2 months later; 6) Delays by CW turned a 3 week project into a 3 month project.

    7) Poor quality and very expensive. The discounts are a scam; 8) Communication with CW designer, central office and installers was very disconnected. Nobody knew what was going on. Designer is not responsible for anything once the customers signature dries; 9) CW charged the credit card without prior approval; and 10) I missed many days of work because of all of these issues. After they agreed to move the closet to right room they left damages where they had previous installed the closet, to the wall and floor. The manager said they were not liable and was not going to pay or repair the damage. Damage consist of holes in wall, drapery torn down from window and holes in carpet along with wall base being remove. The manager said that is my home and I am responsible for the damages. I will never use them again.

Sales rep from Closet World came out to our house: We explained to her we wanted to have beveled glass wardrobe mirrors installed in two rooms that matched the beveled mirror we already have over the sink area. We thought our request was absolutely clear. Unfortunately for us, we did not go over the final contract with a fine toothcomb. Once we signed on the dotted line, that's how the mirrors were ordered, without beveled glass. :( The sales rep overlooked entering "Bevel". In fact she circled "N" for no, no beveled glass. Unbelievable! I came home from work to see just plain glass installed, and I mean "plain glass". We could of spent less money (-$800) and ordered beveled glass from Lowe's, but we thought Closet World would be a more professional experience. Wrong!

I am very frustrated with Closet World. Partly my mistake for not cancelling in 3 days but I had every intention of moving forward with the purchase. I put a $1,500 deposit down on this order and then sometime afterward, after purchasing my new home and paying addition towards the closing and other expenses, determined that I could not follow through with the closets. I called requesting to cancel and be refunded. Their customer service person said she would fill out the paperwork because I could not locate mine and then have a manager call me. I waited and no call. I call again and speak to another person in which she also said she would have a manager call in 3 days. I waited, no call. Another week goes by and I call again and state the same thing.

Finally after about 15 minutes of being on hold I finally get the regional sales manager and he tells me I cannot get a refund of my money and I'm obligated to the $7,800 order I signed contract for. That's all fine and dandy if life does not happen but it does. So with his kind permission I may use the $1,500 on something else I may not need. All this to say I would not recommend Closet World because they obviously don't care about the customer only about their sales. Only work with companies that are flexible and know that life may happen. I will try and use something with this $1500 I am obligated to, but will never, ever purchase anything with this company again!

I remodeled my garage on February 2014. The work was done by Garage Envy and the agreement indicated lifetime warranty for the cabinets, and 1 year warranty for the flooring. I called Garage Envy, but the call was answered by Closet World. I ran a short investigation (called the designer who designed my garage) and learned Closet World acquired Garage Envy in April 2014. Closet World pretends to be Garage Envy, but they're not. Furthermore, they refused to honor the warranty; they don't do epoxy floors at all AND they charge for any service for the cabinets...

I read on Yelp that Garage Envy was acquired, but then someone from Closet World responded by saying Garage Envy went out of business which nothing but a BIG LIE. I talked to 2 additional ex-Garage Envy designers (who already work for other companies and who refused to go work for Closet World) and the Garage Envy installer who did the work in my garage (This amazing guy took the responsibility and came to our home to fix the cabinet FREE OF CHARGE!!!!). All ex Garage Envy employees confirm Closet World's acquisition of Garage Envy was completed last April. I also checked with the Secretary of State, and Garage Envy Inc. has been dissolved few months ago. Closet World is only using the brand name, website and phone number to lure customers into thinking they're getting the high-end service offered by Garage Envy in the past.

Upon signing the contract, I paid $2500 in advance for a set of garage cabinets. They originally delivered the products with lots of shortages and mismatches. Their measurements were wrong and I had paid for the larger items. Installer wanted to cut them in place to fit. I disagreed and asked to shrink two of them so they all match together. This was agreed upon them delivering some wall panels to compensate the extra charges. They left to come back 2 weeks later with shrunk ones. There were still larger doors still and shortage of other doors and table and drawers. They agreed for compensating me instead of the shrunk sizes of my cabinets to cover my small wall with their wall products. They come and go every two weeks for over 2 months and always with some problems.

Finally without doing the extra they had promised, they installed the product. While I was expecting a call of completion or later delivery, instead I noticed on my AMEX card a charge of the remaining $2500 from a month before the product was installed. This violates their agreement with the compensating for what they had charged me vs. what they delivered. Also violates the fact that they had no permission from me charging my account. I disputed it with AMEX. This guy Daren in charge of installers is a crook when it comes to dealing with customers. So make sure this is not the company you want around your house.

After my initial meeting with Amy from Closet World, I went back online as I knew I had seen some negative reviews about this company but wanted to research them more thoroughly. I'm glad I did. I had mentioned to my design consultant Amy (who constantly kept informing me how lucky I was to have her there because she was an Executive with the company that they had called her to come out specifically for my appointment) that I had heard some negative things about Closet World. In fact I thought I was enlisting the services of a company called Garage Envy but it seems Closet World acquired them a few years ago.

I felt I was very clear about what I wanted but felt she wasn't hearing me as she continued to remind me of my good fortune in having an Executive with the company in my garage doing the measurements. Never have I seen a tape measure fly so fast. When I questioned her about a measurement in regard to the overhead door and it's curve she said it was right and I shouldn't worry as I had an Executive from the company measuring for me. She then proceeded to tell me about her Uncle that played Major League Ball and how he may be the one to replace Vin Scully when he retires. Having told me that same thing about five times, she then proceeded to tell me that she could offer me a 40% discount and her Executive discount of 30% as well. I said so what you're telling me is that I'm going to get 70% off? No she said it's 68%. I'm no mathematical genius but 30 plus 40 is 70. I asked when she'd get back to me with the design and she said she was going to do it then and there. I offered a seat at the kitchen table and a glass of water and she started designing.

When she gave me the plans I asked what about the ribbon racks, where my island table etc. She said that wasn't a problem. She then said it would be 10,000.00 dollars but with the 40% and her EXECUTIVE discount of 30 it would only be $4500.00 dollars. I asked her about the cabinets and hardware and she said that will be 28% more for this and 18% more for that and kept going on about how nice my house was etc. When I asked how long the discount was for, she said it's usually only for the day but since she is an Executive with the company she could extend it possibly until the third of the month but being an Executive she knew how to override the system to accept the discounts so I would in fact receive it. By the time she finally left I was exhausted and overwhelmed and felt oversold and under designed. She also had the audacity to say that the bad reviews were from their competitors trying to make them look bad.

I had a woman from one of their competitors at my home earlier in the day that couldn't have been lovelier. She was accurate, listened to what I needed and said she would get back to me once she had time to create my space. This a space I've waited for, for a very long time. It has to be right and functional. I'm glad I reread these reviews and after my experience with an Executive with Closet World I can assure they won't be getting my business. If their workmanship, customer relationships and PR are as bad as all the other consumers have stated I'd be out of my mind to do business with them even if I was working with an Executive with the company. I'd lose my mind if I had to talk to Amy all day and God forbid there be a problem because I wouldn't know who to call as she is an Executive .

Closet World's designer measured for cabinets in our garage. When I inquired about whether the cabinets would sit flush to the floor or be raised several inches above the floor (as I had seen in the catalog), she assured me by email that the cabinets would be flush to the floor, notched around a concrete baseboard. When the installers showed up, they said, "No, garage cabinets are actually suspended five inches above the floor and mounted to the wall. Otherwise, they won't be level because the flooring is not level. This was fine with me. It is actually a better look and it allows for the flooring (in our case, commercial carpeting) to be replaced when needed. It also makes the workbench at a better height for my 6'2" husband. The cabinets and work bench are good quality, so we were pleased.

The day after installation, we realized that by raising the cabinets five inches off the floor; one cabinet now blocked access to a door in our furnace that must be opened to pull out and replace the filter. I called Closet World and fortunately, had the email from the designer to prove that she had measured based on the cabinets sitting on the floor. Closet World, to their credit, agreed to replace the one cabinet at no charge. But when the installers showed up with the replacement, they realized the doors were the wrong size. So now I am waiting for a third visit to replace the doors.

We used Closet World in North San Diego for 2 master closets and a large garage cabinet. Let me first state they blow away competition (CA closets) in price. The product is far superior to do-it-yourself (ClosetMaid), but probably not quite as good as CA Closets.

    Pros:

    * Very customized: Wall to wall, ceiling to floor. A lot of drawer, shelf and hang options.
    * Price: Very good for custom closets.

    * Installer: Our installer (Mohammed) and others who came know how to build closets. Very fast and good.

    Cons:

    * Long design process: They use paper, not computers, for designs. They should fix this.

    * Multiple trips: They should carry more spare parts to better ensure a one trip install.

My recommendation is yes, go with Closet World for big closets. Double check the measurements and diagrams they leave with you so you can correct and change things as early as possible before the install date.

My experience with Closet World from the beginning hasn't been pleasant. The lady, named Leslie, who came out to give the estimate, asked for two checks, one to deposit and one for when it was completed. I wrote her three that day due to one being the wrong amount originally (we ripped that one up). She also got pen ink on my couch. She kept looking around my house and saying how nice it was and asked me how I afforded it being so young. I am older than I look and it's none of her business how I afford it (I teach, and nanny but that's none of her business). Then two weeks later, she called me screaming, I mean literally yelling at me saying I didn't write her checks. I was more than happy to pay her or rewrite checks if she lost them, but she insisted that she didn't and said she would put a lien on my house and on and on. She was really nasty for no reason and when I hung up the phone, my heart was pounding. I paid her again immediately and that was that.

Then when Closet World came to install the doors, the doors were the wrong ones and the wrong measurements for my master bedroom. Two weeks more, I finally got my doors installed. 3.5 years later, both doors have come off the tape or glue holding them onto the frame. One door I can barely open as the picture shows it isn't connected. I need to get to my clothes as I work most days. This has been an inconvenience but I'm getting around it. Then when I called to get the doors fixed, it's a runaround, talking to multiple departments, getting disconnected, having to call 5 times to finally get told the guy won't be coming that night to measure the doors. He was supposed to be there at 6. He showed up at 9 pm.

Now Byron tells me the measurements don't match up and the frame is supposed to be silver. The backing and track have always been white, nothing has changed. My guest room has silver frames. It is beyond frustrating. I just want to be able to open and close my closet doors and have the mirrors attached to the backing. Please help. My doors are under warranty. I feel like Closet World doesn't want to fix what they installed. This should be an easy fix since it seems like tape held them on in the first place? I've sent Byron multiple pictures. The sticker on the back of the doors matches the sticker in my guest room. Closet World installed them, Closet World should repair them.

No one from Closet World has responded to this letter although Byron said he sent it to his supervisor, Ken. I did call and get an appointment finally for them to come out and fix the doors. They claim their paperwork is never incorrect, but originally in 2008, Leslie took the wrong measurements down and the wrong doors were brought. The doors had to be returned; a few weeks later CW returned with the right doors. I always have to call. Closet World doesn't call you if there is a problem or return calls, or call back when they say they will. It is very frustrating to deal with this company.

On Oct. 15, 2012, Ken set up an appointment for CW to finally be here between 4 to 6. I called at 4 to verify they would be here and was told it would be closer to 6 as the installer was 2 hrs. away in Santa Clara. They didn't show up or call to say they weren't going to. This is a terrible company to do business with. No one apologizes or takes accountability for one's actions.

On Oct. 17, 2012, the installer showed up at 7:30, a half hr. past the 5-7 window I was given. He was very nice, but he came with the wrong doors. He came with the guest room's doors! He did remove my closet doors but they were too big and heavy for him to take downstairs and to his truck by himself, so they are now leaning against a couch in my guest room.

Closet World does not apologize when these things happen. The installer did, but the manager, Ken, hasn't. Byron, the guy who argued with me over the measurements and didn't listen to me when I told him he was looking at the guest room paperwork, has not apologized. He's just rude when you talk to him. Rafael, the install manager, has not apologized for not showing up or calling to say they wouldn't show the other evening. Raul who measured for the replacement doors only measured in my master bedroom so it makes no sense that they ordered doors for my guest room. This company is all screwed up. This company is horrible! The installer who came last night said they were underpaid and treated poorly by the management. He said he'd get in trouble for not taking the doors with him, but they each weigh 80 lbs. and are 8 ft. tall.

You are better off going with any other company! Do not use Closet World! It will be Oct. 29th or 31st before they return with the correct doors.

They called that morning and said sorry, the product was damaged? They rescheduled for the following two weeks and the product arrived. It is all wrong! The designer's measurements were incorrect. She said, "Have them wait and I will come over and check it out." She said, "Oh well, things like this happen." So now I have taken off work for two days to accommodate installation with no product installed.

My clothes, shoes, everything were packed in my garage for over a month! She and the install manager told me on the phone that they will remake on the product overnight in their shop (right) and to go ahead and leave my house unlocked, while I go to work so that they can come install the product the next day! Are you kidding me! Two weeks later, I took another day off work and they came to install. It was not what I ordered. It is missing the top shelves and because the original design measurements were incorrect, they had to take off by 5 inches. Now they installed the lowered product and my clothes hang on the ground. Wow! And to think we paid them in full! This was not a fantasy experience. I would think twice about them and I will never use them again.

Based on a recommendation from a friend, I contacted Closet World to do one closet. The design person, Amy, came and was friendly enough but while she was measuring, she started talking about an uncle of hers who was a professional baseball player and later a broadcaster. I tried to steer the conversation away from her uncle and to the measuring process. When the installer, Jaime came, he said the measurements were wrong. That was the first clue that the installation was in trouble. Jaime then told us about removing the clothes rod and support material and said that it needed to be patched and painted or I would see holes in the wall. That is something that the designer should've told me initially and I would've taken care of it prior to the installation. I had Jaime call his supervisor, Raul, who told my wife that, "Once the clothes and shoes are in, you won't see the holes."

The supervisor said that I could buy backing material, but because of some type of promotion, it would be cheaper. I'd already paid 50% deposit so I was stuck. But, to Raul's credit, he called back and said the backing would be free. That certainly was the correct thing to do for P/R, but I wouldn't use the company again. Jaime, the installer, did a nice job and was extremely clean and neat. Lastly, the company demands final payment before the work begins. I almost fell over because two days prior, I had about $10,000 of carpet installed and the sales person said, "Check the work. Look closely for anything that you don't like before you make the final payment." Am I wrong to think that final payment should be made after the work is completed?

Believe every negative word you read about Closet World! They have the absolute worst customer service and quality ever! I am a repeat customer. They built a great closet for me in 1995. I recently moved and was in the market for a new closet, so I decided to check out a few companies and searched online for reviews. After reading all the negative comments about CW and addressing the issue with the designer Jeanie, I was convinced the people online had nothing better to do than to complain. The designer was so down to earth and mellow that I decided to go ahead and take a chance. Mistake. After all, my experience in '95 was positive and the quality was good.

Raul, the installation/production manager is unbelievably rude and has a "take it or leave it, lady" attitude. The installer called him to say one of the measurements appeared to be wrong. Raul told me it was correct, that I should have rechecked the revision. If I didn't pay the entire bill upon arrival, not installation, he would tell the installer to leave the job! If I didn't like it, it would be too bad. Really. He said this and I agreed because my clothes were all over the house and I had waited weeks for the closet. My bad. Raul must get paid to turn people away! The installer told me he has problems all the time because the designers never get the measurements right and that the company doesn't care about the customers! This is the installer who was sent to do a three-hour install by himself. It actually took five days to get it completed! Workmanship and quality are awful. Four of my shelves had deep gouges and scratches in them. I could go on and on, but this should be enough to at least to make you think, more than I did.

First of all, I purchased custom closets for two bedrooms. When the installer came to install them, they informed me that backing was not included and that this was a separate charge. I and my husband were under the impression that the backing was included in our purchase because the sales representative showed us a model of what the closet organizer would look like and it had backing on it. At no time was the word backing mentioned nor were we given the option to purchase. It was not even stated in our contract that backing was not included.

Anyway, we contacted the office and a Byron answered the call. He was very rude, argumentative and failed to offer any other solutions to our dilemma besides asking for an additional $500. I felt that as a representative of this company, he really did not care whether we, as customers, were satisfied with their business or product. What ever happened to customer satisfaction? Well, based on my conversation with him, I requested to speak to his manager which I believe was just another supervisor and not the manager.

I was transferred to a Ken ** who also was rude and argumentative and implied that we misunderstood and would have to pay additional money if we wanted backing. After using a few choice words, I asked if we could cancel our purchase and he stated no. We would either have to have them continue with the installation or lose our money which was $1,178. At first my husband and I discussed taking them to small claims court but then decided to have them go ahead and put the closet in. I mean what else could go wrong?

What else could go wrong? Well, the installer first asked for the final payment up front. I told him that I was not paying for a job that was not completed. He checked with the company and said okay. Then he put a hole in my wall and failed to tell us. When I brought it to his attention, he acted like he did not know that he did that and that he could not understand the English language. A day later, as I was placing clothes in the closet, I noticed that one of the bottom shelves was placed in the shelf unit upside down. I turned the shelf over and noticed a BIG hole in the wood. The installer evidently tried to hide the hole so that we would not see it. I was very upset and now had to call the company again and speak to these rude folks.

I took pictures and called them. I asked for Ken but got that rude rep Byron. We argued about the closet and what shelving unit I was talking about. He argued that I only had one and I told him I had two. Nevertheless, after five minutes of arguing, he figured it out and told me to take measurements and call or email him the info so that he could have another shelf mailed. I was going to insist that they come out but really did not want to deal with these people again so I decided to take a chance and hope that my husband takes the correct measurements and that Byron gave us the correct email address and that we receive it in the mail. Today is 2/3/2012 and I plan to email them the measurements tomorrow. I will let you know if and when I receive it and if all is okay. I highly recommend that no one who is in their right mind use this company.

Closet World set up a date for installation and didn’t keep it. They didn’t call until two weeks later. I should have known right there. On the new day of installation I could not get there until later in the afternoon. My wife let them in and they said they would do the installation and collect the remainder when they were finished. They didn’t have the handles for all the drawers (17). I withheld $500.00 of the $4200.00 contract for them to finish. Assuming the handles were $10.00 each, plus travel and installation cost, that seems reasonable to me.

The supervisor immediately called me back. After a long shouting match he threatened to have the guy return and remove my cabinets. I told him he would not be allowed back into my house until he had all the material. He said he would have his supervisor call me the following Monday which never happened. When the handles came in they called for installation.

I explained to the scheduler the back panels did not match up properly to the cabinet and to make sure they brought the proper caulking. They installed the handles but did not bring it the caulking. I told him I would give him $300.00 of the $500.00, keeping the rest as retention but he left without anything, very pissed off, squealing his tires out of my driveway and down the street. They wanted all the money before installation and I am so glad I kept the proper retention. I am not sure they will ever come back to finish. They have my credit card number. Should I be worried? Where do I go from here? I just want the closet finished!

They said they needed different parts. No one called, so I called, and was told that they had installed. I checked my credit card, and saw that they had broken the contract, and charged before installation. I called the credit card company and my attorney. Closet World has to be, by far, the most incompetent company that I have ever had occasion to do business with. The initial consultation with the designer seemed promising, which is what prompted me to choose this company out of all the other options available. From that point on, however, the nightmare never ended. It started when the scheduled installation date came. I was given a window of time in which an installer(s) would be at my home. I took the appropriate time off from work in order to be present, of course. The window of time came and went, with nobody showing up and not even a phone call from anyone to say what had happened.

An hour past the "window of time", I called the company and spoke with an installation supervisor named Dorian. He said that he would call the installer to see what was going on and call me back. An hour later, he called and said they would be at my home closer to 4 pm (the initial window given was 10 am to 2 pm for them to arrive). 4pm came and went, as did 5pm. I called back. I found out that they would not be able to get the job done that day. I had to initiate the call, rather than hearing from them. If that isn't bad enough, the installer and Dorian, the supervisor, both attempted to lay blame on each other. Dorian said that they should have told him they were running behind at the previous job and he could have let me know. However, the installer showed up at my home and said that he called Dorian earlier in the day. He said that he told him, that they knew they would not be able to get to all the jobs that were scheduled that day, including mine.

Needless to say, if I knew this earlier, I could have avoided having to take unpaid time off from work. The installer called and asked if he could come anyway. And he asked if he could drop off the material at my home, so it was there when the "rescheduled" date was done, the closet material would be ready and waiting at my home. When he arrived, he took a look at my closets (I had signed a contract to have organizers in 4 of them). He measured them and told me that the initial designer had measured wrong - by 4 1/2 inches in one closet and 7 1/2 inches off in another. As a result, the panels that they had brought to my home would not work and they had to reorder parts. I was given a new installation date a week later.

That date arrived, and a solo installer arrived at my home. He proceeded to complete 1 out of 4 closets, and partially installed a second one. At 5 pm sharp, he said that he was leaving, and that I would have to arrange a new date for them to be finished. That meant taking time off from work a third time to accommodate Closet World's inept performance. (How on earth does a company send 1 man to my house at noon, knowing there are 4 closets to be installed, if he supposedly has to leave by 5pm?!) I should mention that when I signed the contract, this company required a 50% deposit from me up front, with the balance to be paid upon completion of the installation. I have since heard that no more than a 10% deposit can be taken up front, and believe that to be the case.

Nonetheless, after the partial completion of the job, I checked my credit card statement. I saw that the company had proceeded to charge the balance due without the work even being done! This infuriated me further, as it seemed like the only thing this company is capable of doing on time and efficiently is charging peoples' credit cards. After several phone calls back and forth, with me lamenting the ongoing inconvenience of having to repeatedly take time off work, some manager (I forget his name) agreed to take $300 dollars off the price of the job. I agreed that this was acceptable. However, when the installation was done, this "agreement" apparently never made it to accounting, as they charged me that $300 along with the remainder of the balance due. They didn't even bring the agreed-upon number of shelves to the final installation. And I had to wait extra time to receive those.

So, here I am, two months later. On August 18th, I called and ordered three additional shelves that I would like to add. I am promptly charged $135 ($35 each shelf, plus $30 for shipping). And I was told that they will arrive in about a week. One month went by! Today, September 16th, I called and asked, "How long does it take for shelves that have been ordered to be shipped?” They answered, "About a week." I then asked why a month has gone by without me receiving them. Guess who I am transferred to - good old Dorian, the supervisor. I told him the problem and he said that he would check the status of the order and call me back in 20-30 minutes. After 2 hours of not being called, I call him back. He got on the phone and said: "Sorry, I got called into a production meeting. I'll have your shelves cut today and shipped out.”

So, apparently, their only concern was taking my $135. And the shelves were never even cut, much less shipped. All in all, this company dropped the ball at every possible level. The measurement was done wrong, the installation was delayed several times over, there were accounting errors, and orders were misplaced or not even processed. My overall assessment of this company is that they do shameful business. And I highly recommend anyone needing closet installation done to take their business anywhere other than Closet World. They are, quite simply, a disgrace to the profession.

Since my order was placed and the 50% was paid, I have had nothing but problems. After no one showed up the morning of the scheduled installation, I called the salesperson and was told that the doors I had ordered and paid 50% of for my office closet would not work out. Furthermore, I was told that there would be no installation that day.

It took another month, with my closet contents out, before the actual installation took place. I was charged for the other 50% of the doors that were never installed. As compensation for my troubles, I was offered sliding mirror doors on my master closet or something comparable. I have a witness as to what was said and promised.

During this entire process, my phone calls were not being returned by either the salesperson Bemilde or her supervisor Maria. One day, I called from my phone and got no answer, so I called from my neighbors phone and she picked it up, obviously, ignoring my calls. I later learned that Bemilde had not been with the company for a couple of weeks. When I called Maria's manager, more promises were made. He was supposed to get back to me regarding the $1200 I am owed, and what compensation remedies they are offering. I called again two weeks later and left a message. I am still waiting!

So I cancelled the order. Had to go thru hell to get my deposit (over $3000.00) back. Got promises from the VP. Yet to get the check. Called several times (the VP's cell and office) never got a call back.

Be aware that you pay half up front and the other half is charged to your credit card the day of installation. However, my one-day installation took seven weeks and they had my money all that time.

Bottom line: do not use Jill ** as your designer. She designed a desk that hit me at my collar bone (obviously a design mistake). When I stopped the installers, who said they knew it was wrong but they "just are the installers", and called Ms **, she said, "What is wrong with your chair?" She just won't take responsibility for her mistakes.

She also designed a desk top that was 18" deep. When I questioned her design on the first day she was here, she said that was a normal depth. Guess what, my printer would not even fit on it. It looked like a ledge. The only positive was Michael, her supervisor. He came and looked at it and realized it was not functional for me. He made it right.

I reversed the American Express bill and after they finally realized it, a "yes man" named Michelle offered me 50 and then 100 dollars for my inconvenience (of seven weeks?). I refused to continue the conversation. A few days later, Michael called and did give me 300 dollars back.

I would suggest that you have Michael, and only Michael, design your office/closet, etc.

The installation was suppose to take 4 hours (according to sales Lady - Karen). The installer arrived at my house at 11:00 a.m, and left ad 10 P.M and the work was not complete. The company had to re-make a few parts that were mis measured and second appointment was set. The installer comes with the new parts, but the doors all all scratched up and had to cut my existing shelves in half to make other shelves out of it. 3rd appointment was set and the installer forgot to bring some parts.

4th appointment was set, but when I called Raul the Customer Service person, he rudely tells me that they can not make it due to another job that is taking longer. He did not even apologize and wants to set me up for a morning appointment and tells me that I should take off work again for the 5th time. All this time he offers me $50 and I told him what he can do with his $50. I asked for his Supervisor, he said Steve Fata. He was not available to talk to me at 2:30 in the afternoon. I used Closet World for my cabinets in my garage with no problems, but of course that was 12 years ago! Boy, do things change. My husband and I decided to surprise our daughter and do her closet for her birthday. When you spend that much, you expect to get half way decent customer service. I stayed home from work to meet the installer. My window of time came and went! I didn't get a phone call until 30 minutes after that they were running about 3 hours late! Do you think they knew that during my window of time?

I called to talk to the supervisor Raul ** and he pretty much just blew me off, saying that sometimes that happens and asking if I wanted to reschedule. Really? After I took off work and waited all day? I told him I wanted to cancel because I didn't want to do business with them and he said, "Then, you are going to lose your down payment." They get your money and think they can just treat you in any way they want! They have you over the coals. After I calmed down, I told him that I had to run a couple of errands to please give me a courtesy call 30 minutes before they arrive on my cell, and he said, "Okay." I got one more call telling me that they were even going to be an hour later!

Well 2 hours later, while I was out, my daughter, who is 17 and needs her room to get ready for a school dance, calls me, panicked because the installer was at the door and she just got out of the shower so she couldn't answer the door. I had to call and tell the secretary to call the installer and have him wait for me. I was only 2 minutes away and fuming! I told the installer that he was supposed to call me before he arrived and guess what he said? "Nobody told me to." Surprise, surprise! Running this late, they send 1 installer? By the way, it is 7:30 p.m. My window was by 2 p.m. Needless to say, I could have worked all day. Our designer was Maureen **. She was very nice, but told us the installation would take about 1 hour.

My husband was out of town so I had to sit here with the installer until 10:30 p.m. One of the drawers ended up being the wrong size and 2 of the shelves were scratched so it didn't even get finished! I had to call Steve the higher up supervisor. Instead of offering me money off or something, he says, "What would you like me to do?" He did give me $50 off. That was not enough; not even close! Where is the money for the day of work which I didn't need to take off?

The stress I went through was not worth it. I will never use them or recommend them, ever! Do not go with them. They will treat you like garbage and you can't get out of it! Closet by Design is the same company. Please do your homework and read complaints.

I have a concern with a business that I have been dealing with for the past couple weeks. The business that I have been doing business with is Closet World. My first step when I started to deal with this business I called and set up an appointment for an estimate. This was the first problem Closet World called and switched my appointment with out talking to me instead they called my home and told someone from household instead of talking to me in person.

Once we settled that we final came up with a layout with the designer. This is when the real problems started, the installers once again called my home and did not speak to me and set up an appointment to show up. When I first made the appointment, I set it up for a morning appointment. To my understanding, a morning appointment is between the hours of 8am to 12pm.

After I called that night and left a message, no one returned my phone call so I called that morning. I finally talked to a Closet World representative and she told me that my morning appointment would be priority over all other appointments. Every couple hours that morning, I called in to check on the estimated arrival time and I still got no where. So finally, I asked to talk to a supervisor and he also ensured me that the installers where on there way and he also told me my appointment would be first.

About 2pm, the installers finally showed up. I asked the installers if I was the first appointment and they told me no, they had a stop somewhere else before they came to do my install. Which this meant the supervisor lied to me. What kind of management is this? Now I had to take the whole day off of work, so the installers could finish the work.

The next concern that came up was I had to pay before the work even started. I did not understand this policy because I had already paid a deposit and I was told when the work was done I would pay the remainder. The biggest problem of the day was two of the cabinets came in the wrong size, so the job was never completed a 100 percent. So the next day, I was checking up on my credit cards that I had paid with Closet World to find out that one of my credit cards was charged twice. Instead of getting a follow up call for customer satisfaction or any other concerns with the install, I received nothing.

So now, the next day I had to run around trying to call the right person to get the problem fixed. Since some of the cabinets were wrong, I wanted to switch two of them to different sizes. Instead of fixing how I would like it to be, they want to charge even more to change the sizes. At this point, don't you think that I have been through enough and that they need to make it right, if they want my business again?

If I had to do it all over again, I would never have used them had I known of or did my research with this company. To start, the designer tells you what you want to hear, and then draws a plan that's not what she stated. This leads to the installation process. First thing is they asked for the remaining balance before they do the work or they don't do it. That's the installation policy but no part of the contract states that. The installation supervisor called my wife on her cell phone at work and starts the conversation with, "I hear there's a problem with the check." Not even addressing my wife 1st or ever used her name. How unprofessional. He insisted my wife drive an hour to bring the check to the house before they would start. My wife's response was click!

Bottom line, I wrote another check to complete the job. At the end of the install is when I realized it was nothing like what the designer described. It looked like they got some bookshelves from K-Mart (nothing against K-Mart) and screwed them to my walls. This was what we got for over $3,000. I refused to sign the completion form until I got what the designer promised. After almost an hour of phone calls back and forth, and speaking to the District Manager (so he says) Steve **, I noted the discrepancies, agreed to another date for more install, and sign their form. After the installer left, and talking with my wife, we decided to stop payment on the check and refuse anymore service. After informing them of our decision on Monday (install was on a Friday), this brought out their real professionalism.

Again they proceeded to bother my wife at work by calling her cell phone constantly only leaving 1 message after the first call. After 8 calls in about 35 minutes, my wife turned off her phone. I then took over the phone dealings and had my wife's # replaced with mine. After several phone dealings with Steve ** again, we were threaten with a lien against our home for the balance, and was the same threat on our answering machine at home. When he realized I wasn't easily bullied, he actually called me out. When someone says to you out of the blue, "I'll meet you in person anywhere any time to deal with this face to face", that's calling me out.

How professional is that of a District Manager. When I told him I was 6'3" 280 lbs, he said he meant to meet and talk. After he agreed to come back out and further design our closet to meet our needs, I agreed to pay the balance. To end the story, our closet looks more like what was described by the designer, but no where near worth the money paid.

This is the most unprofessional customer service, lies about installation time, doesn't keep the appointment and then would not offer to reschedule when they show up late and it was to take until 7pm or 7:30pm to complete the installation. The installation manager did not care if I was upset, did not offer another alternative, just take it now or see ya later attitude. I am requesting a refund as they left my closet with baseboards off and totally empty. The manager said we can't get a refund too late!

I would recommend you select any other company for any closet work other than Closet World. Check the other complaints on the internet and see how they do not disclose important facts about if you had more than one clothes rod they charge you extra, or they don't repair or fill holes in walls and they certainly don't disclose they will be working past normal business hours (5pm) or shove it customer. Beware. This is a bad company! They refused to reschedule a time to install the new closet and refused to refund my money when I asked for it. He said this was not an option. The installer specifically told me that the measurements were not correct and also told Bryan the same thing. Byron said they would credit me for the portion that could not be installed. I cancelled my visa card for the $823.00 final payment then would pay the adjusted amount. However, closet works was not able to take the money out so they used the credit card that I originally used in March for the deposit. I did not authorize them to use this card for the payment. My husband insisted I get the deposit back. We left several messages for Sasha, and I called Customer Service who informed me there are no refunds. Kathy spoke with someone in installation and told them that I was requesting the cabinets to be free standing and not mounted. This apparently was doable and the order was written. A delivery was scheduled for Friday 8/28. I was told that the delivery would be confirmed the day before. Needles to say I did not receive a phone call, so no one was home. In the meantime, we have realized that the drawer lock which was ordered was not installed. During the second installation attempt, the doors of wrong size were delivered and the workers realized that the drawer rails were incorrect and reported on that, and scheduled the third installation for a few days later to repair the drawers. However, a different technician was sent and they did not have the information on the rails. This technician realized a different problem with the locks and had to reschedule and also ordered cleaning and hole caps, and rescheduled the fourth appointment. In the meantime, the information on the rails was lost and the fifth appointment was scheduled.

After taking the fifth half-day off, I realized that this appointment was never entered into the system. They rescheduled the sixth appointment as of now. I would like to point out the apparent complete miscommunication within the technicians and managers costing lost time and frustration, taking 6 half days off work.

I agreed to purchase and set installation date four weeks out. This was the middle of March 2009. When the installers arrived mid-April, they had material with wrong dimensions. Installers had to re-measure and re-order, and I had to wait three more weeks.

The second time, material was damaged and not all accounted for. I called installation department and complained, and a third appointment was set for another three weeks out. No priority for unhappy customers. No one showed up for third appointment. I called and was told installers were on another job and would be an additional 1 1/2 hour before arriving at my home and then it would take at least two hours to assemble. I made a fourth appointment. This morning, June 15 2009, was the fourth appointment. Again, they did not have all the materials and were not prepared for what was supposed to be done.

I called installation department again and talked to Dorian again. I said I wanted the desk returned and a full refund. Of course, there was silence and the usual "I'll have to talk to my boss." In the meantime, the installer took more measurements and assured me he would make sure the desk was done properly if I made another appointment.

I am now set for July 2, 2009. This has been a nightmare, and I regret ever contacting Closet World. Poor quality, poor preparation, poor customer service, poor everything. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Raymond Shadwick, a representative of Closet World, lied to my wife and I on at least two occasions. 1st, he told us Closet World manufactured their own sliding mirror doors. They don't. They use the cheapest Contractors Wardrobe doors available. Raymond Shadwcik also lied to us regarding the internal mounting system for the five closet organizers we purchased. Shadwick told me the organizers would be hung on a bracket that would be screwed in to wall studs. That didn't happen. When I complained about these issues, I was told oh well, sorry but you probably misunderstood the salesperson. Right. Dishonest sales person, Raymond Shadwick working for a dishonest company. Just found this listing today. We had Closet World do our home office a few years back, and it still makes me sick every time I think about it.
The sale price was astronomical, but they offered a 50% discount at the last minute to get the deal. Still too much, but we agreed anyway. Dumb move. The plan was for wall cabinets on one wall, two lateral file units, two tall bookcases, assorted desk drawer units, some under-the cabinet lighting, and a huge amount of formica countertop tying it all together into two separate work areas. The sales person was very nice. For the money we paid, I had expected competent people, installing quality, factory-built products. Then the installers showed up, in a broken-down van that leaked on the driveway. The two fellows, who spoke almost zero English, looked like they had little or no experience in these things. They assembled, very incompetently, plastic-coated, particle board cabinetry the likes of which you could buy at any home improvement store for pennies on the dollar, compared to what we were paying. Now I'm no Bob Villa, or Norm Abrahms, but I do some woodworking as a hobby, and I know more about it than most folks, and they did an awful job of it. I was home on vacation, recovering from surgery, and I was stunned to find out they had no intention of tying any of this hardware to the walls, except for the upper wall cabinets. They planned to screw it all together, very poorly, into one big loose mass, lamely standing on pathetic legs of particle board, some with exposed raw edges. When I asked about this, they said this is how they do it. Their boss verified that was their policy. I ordered them off my property, after making sure they left all the incompleted bits and pieces behind. While recovering from surgery, I assembled the remaining units, dismantled and rebuilt what had already been incompetently assembled, devised my own mounting system and tied it all to the walls, and together. I assembled the massive formica slabs together and installed the tops. In short, I had to undo what they did badly, install it all myself, pay for the hardware to properly anchor it all to the walls, and ever since then I am disgusted to think how much we paid for what is essentially a load of crap.

I made an order to have my garage done and some mirrored doors for my bedrooms. I put a little over $1000.00 down and thought that I would be able to complete payment in 90 days. It has been well over 6 months and due to the economy, unemployment in my family and a series of many other crises, I will not be able to continue with the project. At the time I made my order, if I understood it right, the designer, Denise Ramirez, stated that if I canceled, I would only be able to obtain 1/2 of my deposit. Well, now that I realize that I need the refund to pay bills, I have called twice during the week of 12/8/08 to request a refund. During my first telephone call, I was told that there would be no refund at all. I requested to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to a voice mailbox where I left a message explaining my problem and my request for at least a portion of my initial deposit. No one called back, so I called again and was told the same thing and again, I requested to speak to a supervisor. The same thing happened and again, I left a message that explained my situation and a plea for a partial refund. To this date, 12/16/09, I have not received a return telephone call from anyone acknowledging my request. I just want to know it there was any way I could receive a refund of any part of the deposit I paid, as I have not received any products or installation. They did come out and measure, but the measurements were free. I appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you in advance for your prompt and careful attention in this matter.

I had a bedroom closet installed. They scheduled installation October 2, 2008. October 2 came and went. I never got a call. Decided to call and inquire as to what time the installers are coming. Customer service informed me that I am scheduled October 13, 2008. I informed them that the paper that I was given indicated Oct 2. They said that their computer indicated October 13 and that was the end of it. I had to miss work so that I could be home that day, and they didn't even offer to give me any discount or compensation for my missed day of work. I called Amy who was the designer and she promised to call me back. She never called back.

October 13 came and my closet was installed. Two doors were damaged so they said they'll be back October 20, 2008 to finish the doors. I called and talked with Robert and Raul that there were 3 doors missing and not two. They have the drawing in front of them and they agreed that 3 doors were missing. Then I asked if I could add an additional door to the bottom of 1 shelf. Raul said it wasn't a problem. When I asked how much will they be charging me, he said none. I then said, why thank you!

October 20 came and the installers came with 3 doors and not 4. I talked to Raul and he is now denying that we discussed an additional door. And that he will be charging me $120 for the installers to come and add that 1 door. I even reminded him of our conversation but he completely denies it. I am very angry and disappointed. I paid my dues. I didn't even hassle them with the price. They give me false promises and won't even rectify it or offer any compensation for it. I don't think I got the service I paid for.

Several years ago I had Closet World install custom closets in two bedrooms. I rented out the front bedroom recently and found out that the tenant had taken one of the custom bars used to hang the clothes on. I called Closet World and said I would measure the missing rod space and asked to have another rod mailed to me. Steve Fata, supervisor, informed me that this would not be possible in that someone would have to cut the rod, find a box to pack it in and leave work in order to go to a U.S. Post Office to accommodate me and they do not offer that kind of service.

He asked that I come to their factory in City of Industry and pick up the rod. I told him I live in San Bernardino and do not drive so this would not be possible. He said the only recourse he would offer me was a fee of $100.00 for someone to drive out with the rod, measure, cut it and install it and charge me an additional fee of $14.00 for the rod itself. I asked to speak to Mr. Fata's supervisor and he told me there was no supervisor above him so I'm assuming he is the owner of Closet World.

I told him I would be sure to tell all my friends about the poor service.

Closet World came to install our master closet for a price of $3700.00 yesterday, July 22, 2008. My husband, who is a contractor, and I were both home. We, periodically, checked on the progress. At one point, we noticed that a nail was sticking out into one of the shelves by, approximately, 1/4 .

It not only ruined the nice finish of the piece but there was no way to put clothes on that shelf because they would get snagged on the nail. My husband brought it to the attention of the installer; the installer apologized and said it would be fixed. Unfortunately, we didn't examine all the shelves carefully because there were about 25 nails sticking out on almost all of the shelves.

They were put in AFTER my husband pointed the 1st nail that was sticking out to the installer. It was as if he just had 1 1/2 nails and not the 1 1/4 inch that he needed so instead of stopping the job and going to get the properly sized nails, he just kept going. When we realized it this morning, we called the installer section of Closet World and were told that we would need to speak to a supervisor named Andy. This is out of the Carlsbad, California office. Andy called us back and spoke with my husband.

My husband explained the situation and asked if he could fix it himself because we scheduled the carpeting to be installed today. My husband asked for something to plug the holes after they were replaced so that the finish wouldn't look horrible. He also asked for a 20% discount for the time & trouble this caused us. Again, my husband is a contractor. He was told there would be no way to get that much money taken off of the bill.

My husband tried to settle it by saying that we'd accept 10% taken off the bill because he would have to have one of his guys spend the time retracting the nails, putting the tape or whatever they provided to hide the holes in the finish, put in the properly sized nails and it would never look as good if they had done the job correctly the first time. I was very upset. This was going to cost us money by having one of my husbands men taken off a job to fix their mistake. He was told that there would be no way to have that much money deducted from the bill. Andy told my husband that he had spoken to the installer and the installer had admitted that he had used the wrong nails. Andy, the supervisor, said he'd think about $200.00. Mind you, we spent $3700.00 on the closet, we cannot use that closet at all because our clothes will be snagged on the nails and we are having 6 guests come to visit next week. Andy said that we would have to speak to his manager, Mike Kinsey. Mike Kinsey would also not try to negotiate to resolve the issue so my husband threw up his hands and said that they would need to send a man out to check on the damages, disassemble the whole unit and then bring in all new wood to fix their mistake. Mike Kinsey felt this was the route to go. He couldn't tell us when he could send someone out to look at the problem or when he could re-schedule the installation. We are now just left twiddling our thumbs.

It's going to cost Closet World way more money to have men spend time taking the whole thing apart not to mention the cost of the new material. The 10% we initially requested, we felt, was fair. My husband asked if this was how they regularly dealt with their supposedly valued customers but Mr. Kinsey didnt have a comment. I am appalled. We now have to wait for indefinite amount of time; whenever it is convenient for them to come to see the problem, have all new materials ordered, which we were told will take at least 2 weeks, and then we'll have to schedule a time for them to come to re-install. I will never use Closet World again. I will be telling all of my friends about the problems incurred and I am hoping that others will see this complaint before choosing Closet World. There are many other companies who are dying for work in these troubled economic times.

I tell you this after listening to my father tell me about his 10 year work experience as a supervisor, unfortunately one of the persons most of these people might have talked too.

Customer satisfaction has been a big problem for this company. So much that my father decided to quit his job there and start his own business doing the exact same thing with the exception that we also do kitchen cabinets, a trade that my father picked up many years before working for Closet World. Business has been going good even with zero advertising; maybe because after a lower priced well done job people like to tell their friends and family about you!

we ordered 2 closets for our master bedroom. The price was 4800. they originally quoted 5100 but after telling them the price of the competition, they said that they can not match that price but can give a 300 discount to make us happy. The job was set to be done on April 19th. We had mentioned to them that we need this to be done in one day because we are busy on weekends and it is hard for us to schedule weekends and during the week we work. The promised it would be done in one day.

Today is May 5 and and after coming 3 times to our house, the closets are still not done. Meanwhile all of clothes have been all over the house and it has been hard to live like this! The measurements were done wrong to begin with, things that a designer should take into account ( such as doors to attic or doors to tub), were not taken into consideration. At the end of it all, what they have given us,is a closet that no longer is to our specification and they gave us less and charged us the same( one of the closet is now shorter than promised and one closet is giving less space to hang clothes), have things missing ( such as the extra things we had ordered- like a hide away drawer or telescoping rod), and walls that are damaged in our house , not only in the closets but also in the hallways when they were brining things to the closet from their car. The quality of the material used is very cheap and does not resemble the pictures in the catalog and looks like something I can buy from Home Depot myself.

Every time they made a mistake we would fax and e-mail pictures to the manager to try to help him figure out what he could do to fix the problem. We were of the mind set that they are obviously incompetent and since we want out closet fixed, even though we have spent this kind of money and should not have to do his job for him, if we want this done, we needed to help. However, after all that time and energy, non of the modifications was ever discussed or even presented to the installer so they would show up with wrong things again. I am not sure how these people have any business or make any money doing things wrong all the time! Actually I do..they over charge and gouge people so they can have money to cover all their mistakes. We will see...maybe they will pull it together and deliver everything to us by this next weekend, but I am not counting on it!

Loss of wages for every weekend having t stay home for these people to come and make things right. Less closet for the same price. Damage to walls. Time that was wasted! Aggravation, head aches, and inconvenience.

The short version of a very long story is that Closet World failed us in almost every respect—and then had the audacity to demand full payment. Closet World promised to install closets for us in one day -- on Aug. 26, 2006. We made a partial payment and deposit. One month and three visits later by its workmen, only two of the three closets actually worked. Drawers on the third banged into the wall when opened.

After promising to schedule a fourth visit, Closet World simply abandoned the job without notification or legal excuse, in violation of state law and our contract. Months later, despite a contract stating that final payment was due upon completion and installation, Closet World attempted to bill our credit card almost $1000 for work it never did. We disputed the charge and after an investigation, the credit card company voided the charge as unauthorized and unjustified.

Even in possession of evidence that it abandoned the job and violated our contract, Closet World willfully and knowingly continued to pursue the balance on the contract for work it never did. Ultimately, Closet World extorted half the remaining debt from us, using threats of a lien against our home, damage to our excellent credit rating and of turning the alleged debt over to a collection agency.

We paid $1800 for three closets and only two of them function as promised. Frankly, knowing now the grief this company has caused us, we would not have accepted their services even if they were free. At a minimum, we should not have paid the roughly $500 amount extorted from us after Closet World violated its contract. Given Closet World's egregious conduct, a full refund seems fair redress.

A revised plan was drawn-up by a district manager, Joe P. I signed and dated this. The installers came to my home, destroyed my closet with a sloppy tear-out. They used the wrong plans and had the material for the wrong plans, and installed this mess. This left me with destroyed drywall exposed, closets to large and too small, missing shelves, drawers, etc. They stated they never received the revised plans from the designer.

I told them I want my deposit money back and to come and take the "junk" out of my walk-in closet. Joe P told me, "that was not going to happen", as Genie, the designer's manager told me as well. They demanded that I fax them the revised plans, as they did not have them and wanted me to prove that there was a revision done. I did fax these in hoping they would refund my money and remove the mess they had done. They will not cooperate with me in refunding my money.

They have $888.00 deposit of mine which I want refunded. After reading the horror stories and finding that they have numerous complaints and disciplinary actions from the contractors license board, I told them I did not want to give them another opportunity to come into my home and cause further damage/problems. Here is the information regarding my unfortunate dealings with Closet World. I will therefore outline what has happened with respect to this charge by them for $3349.00 on 12/10/02. A Home Improvement Salesperson by the name of Michelle G came to my home and designed a "Prestige Office System" for my home. She then went on to negotiate a price and executed a contract for this product. In the State of California all Home Improvement Salespersons must be registered with the Department of Consumer Affairs-Contractors State License Board. Ms G according to the records of the Board is NOT REGISTERED. This is a misdemeanor in California not to be registered.

On 12/26/02, installers from Closet World came to my house to begin the installation. I had to step out for about three hours but upon my return they had already left for the day. My wife and I discovered they had cracked a shelf by over tourqing a bracket, a vertical wall was split down the middle as they attempted to hammer the pieces together (they are machined to be put together this way), and there was a gap in the upper shelf of the bookcases allowing a view of the ceiling. The edges of the bookcases were finished so poorly that if you ran your finger down the edge you could easily suffer a laceration. Also, when the installers left on 12/26/02, they left another person's contract as a receipt for the work they did in my house that day. The installer came in a disheveled manor not having shaved for at least a couple days. These people were careless in their work to say the least.

I tried to call Closet World that night but only the night Supervisor was there - Rudy who said the immediate supervisor (Andreas) of these installers would call me in the morning before the installers returned. Andreas never called, so I called again on the 27th. I also tried twice to reach Ms. G both on her extension and pager on the 26th but to no avail. Finally, I reached Andreas on the 27th at 9:30 AM. I informed him I was extremely dissatisfied with the work thus far. I told him of the above problems and that the quality of the product was not what Ms. G had shown us on 12/10/02. In fact, I told Andreas that I had gotten better kit products at TARGET STORES that I put together myself that was of superior quality to what was being installed in my home.

I told him I wanted the project terminated immediately and for everything to be removed from my home. He told me this was impossible and that not only would they not remove the broken pieces, but insisted that the entire project be completed with the broken pieces and then they would see about replacing them. I asked him if it made any sense to install broken shelving to my walls and then tear it down to fix it. Andreas told me that is the way Closet World does business. I asked him as the Supervisor to come out and look at was being installed, but he said NO - not until the installation was completed. He also said there was no way they would stop the project, cancel the contract, or refund my deposit. You see, he wanted the project completed so that not only would I be responsible for the $3349, but the full amount of $6698!

When the installer came, they installed the standard product and I demanded an explanation and refused to pay the remaining balance until I received what I had originally asked for. The installer said that he had to take the balance because he did his part and that he would report the problem to headquarters. I reluctantly agreed and contacted the manager at headquarters and the salesperson and explained the situation. The salesperson called me back and blamed me for the mistake and essentially said that she could do nothing and I had to pay more for the upgraded feature when I had already paid for it. She was extremely rude and essentially did nothing because she had already received payment from me.

I am left with a product that I didn't want and essentially overpaid because I had originally ordered an upgraded feature but didn't receive it. The fact that the salesperson was extremely rude after she got the sale proves that this person has poor ethical standards and doesn't know how to conduct business and provide quality customer service. I still haven't heard anything from the manager nor the saleslady except for the fact that I would have to pay more for the upgrade so I would essentially be paying twice for the upgraded product.
