I had used Closet World in the past and recently had the master closet installed through them. The designer was very helpful. The installation guy was on-time but the only thing was that he wasn't very friendly. He introduced himself, came in, and said, "I'm here to do your installation, review this, sign this." He was not rude but didn't seem to have a positive attitude, and has no personality. But everything was fine as he did a nice job.

I went with Closet World because of the discount and it has been a simple, quick and easy experience so far. This is my second installation actually with them. The first one was an actual closet for a walk-in closet in the master bedroom. The second one were garage cabinets for a utility room. I had a design in mind and the designer went off of that and had everything laid in its pieces. She was wonderful and walked us through everything. The only thing that we were disappointed with was that the countertop we wanted was a stainless steel of some sort, but it was no longer being manufactured. But the product was wonderful and we love it. Anytime I’ll need something else, I’ll be sure to call them.

My cousin had Closet World do her closet 10 years ago. I also had them do two closets and a pantry. It was the most basic white and I had a jewelry drawer in both of them. Their people called and told me that they were going to schedule the installation within the two-hour time frame, which they did. My husband was the one who was there at the house when the installers came and there was a language barrier as he doesn't speak enough English. One guy called me on the phone and wanted to get the okay to remove the baseboards. I told him to do whatever was needed to do to put the closet in. He installed the closets.
But then my nephew called me because he had said that there was no jewelry drawer. I talked to the installer about this but he said he didn't have the parts for the jewelry drawer and it wasn't on his thing. I had my nephew show him the drawing that I signed and he said he'll take pictures, talk to his manager, and they were going to have to call me.
When I got home, I looked at my nephew's closet and his came out good. However, when I went to mine, it wasn't what I had asked for. There were supposed to be two things where I could hang on the left-hand side because the person that came out knew that I had a basement in my closet and we lift up the handle and it goes against the wall. She knew that she couldn't put certain things there so she had made it where there were two bars where I could put clothes but there was only one and I got upset. The installation was off. There were holes in places that didn't go together.
I went to the pantry and the other guy explained to me that they couldn't put everything all the way to line up because of how the wall was and how it was made. I said that was fine and called the manager. I explained to him that the jewelry drawers were not included and I asked if he was going to come out. He said he'll have someone come out. I asked how long it was going to take as I already waited three weeks. The call was made Tuesday and he said that he'll have someone out on Friday. I told him it should be between 4:00 and 6:00 which he said was fine.
A person called me to tell me that I had an appointment on Monday and I said it was on Friday. She said she didn't have me down for Friday so I talked to the manager again. He said it was going to have to be next week as they didn't have the parts, but it'll be the top priority. He called me again and I asked for some type of credit because I spent $5,000 on the closets and they were still not done correctly. I was told that they don't usually give credits. I told him I needed something because he told me Friday for the next appointment. He said he was going to send somebody out and again told me the date and time.
The second guy came out and told me that the work wasn't done correctly, that the guy who did it before did a horrible job and he was going to try to fix it. I was there this time. He was able to put the second bar like the picture showed and fix it enough to be straight. He said that if I was not happy with the straightness then he will be back and let them know so they can do it again. I had to leave but my mother-in-law was there. Luckily, he spoke Spanish so it was good and then she showed me pictures. He put the jewelry drawers in and did a very good job 'cause he explained things to me. I love him. He took his time and tried to fix what was done.
I called the manager and he said he was going to give me a $100 credit and another $100 because he had to cancel and re-schedule. He wanted to make me happy. I wanted to do my laundry room but I wasn't going to go with Closet World again. The manager said that was fine. Overall, the experience was horrible. I'm happy that I have the closet but I had to go through all that trouble. To go back and forth is not something that I would do again.

I checked out different closet companies and had 4 estimates. I tried to look for something cheaper and better and went with Closet World. I got shelving in the garage made and it looks good to me right now. However, I had some major issues with their designer. She made something different than supposed to be. And the installers came here and then they reordered the whole product and came back the next week. They resolved the problem later on and got everything completed although a little late because they needed to redo again all the other stuff because something's not right. But the installers were really good and friendly.

We've used Closet World many times in the past on various houses and were pleased with what they've done. We had three closets redone. We had storage units put in the laundry room, in the garage and we had put an upper cabinet over a drop-down area. The designer was fine but we weren't specific when we were working with them. There was a little bit of confusion about a jewelry tray that we had in the master closet and the baskets for dirty clothes that went into the master closet but it got straightened out at the end. The jewelry tray that we put into the door in the master closet was mailed to us.
Installation was okay but somebody picked up my tape measure and walked off with it. When I told them about it, they gave it back. They didn't clean up as well as I would have expected them to do. The installers were based in Hayward so they didn't show up until late morning. Having anything done like this is not a pleasant experience but it turned out fine.

I got a simple, tall closet from Closet World four months ago. They had some good pricing, and it was the main reason I made my purchase there. However, the measurement for the height of the closet was incorrect, so they had to get a smaller one and came back a few times to get it done. But I didn't have a problem with the installation crew. They were fine. Majority of the closet was done the first time around, but they came back twice. Once to bring the sliding doors, and then to fix some loose screws and other minor things.

Closet World’s been around for a long time. They did my garage at first and put cabinets on the wall. Then the second time, I had them put up some cabinets in my laundry room. The designer was great. But I wasn't too happy with the first set of cabinets they put up and that they didn’t wear things on their feet. They didn’t quite do what they were supposed to do the first time and when I mentioned it to the worker, he looked at me like, “Are you kidding me?” I took pictures of it, sent it to the designer and she apologized. She goes, “Well, I’ll send it to the person that does the building of the cabinets and the ordering of the cabinets.” The cabinets being messed up can be replaced but his attitude really bothered and irritated me. As a matter of fact, when they said they were going to come out and put the second cabinet up, they said, “We’re gonna send the same guy.” I go, “Don’t you dare.He is not welcome here.”
I paid $1,000 which was expensive, but I knew them and that they do a good job. So, I was a little bit upset with them. But I gave them a second chance because I didn’t want closets once they're put up because there were way too many mistakes, like the back was cut short and I could see the bottom coming down. Also, part of the back of the board is showing my paint and how uneven it was. The second time they came out, they did a great job. The guy was nice but they need to wear stuff on their feet because I don’t know what they walked onto in other houses, and bringing in to my home. If someone would ask me to recommend them, I won't. When I have something else done, I’m not going to call them to do it for me. I’ll be calling somebody else. I'm dissatisfied with Closet World.

I’m in a condo and one of my closets fell. I called California Closets but didn’t go with them. I then called Closet World and they had a person named Debbie come over. She was the designer and she made the closet in three parts. Each side was the hangers for the clothes and I told her I wanted a shorter width of the shelf and to put cubbyholes where I could put sweaters. Then we agreed with the price which was reasonable. Debbie rushed the closet for me, which was very nice but I fell ill and went in the hospital. So I was back and forth with Closet World. But they accommodated me before Christmas, which was very good.
The installation guy was very nice. He came in, did his job and got out. In fact, when he was hanging up the things where to put the hangers on, it was too tall for me. I told him I'll have to step on a ladder, and he adjusted it right away. He knew what he was doing. Everything else was perfect including the installation. My only problem was I didn't get my cubbyholes. The design Debbie made wasn't right. Debbie put the shelves and not the cubbyholes and I was too sick when the installation team came. I just told them to go ahead and work on the closet.

I called some companies but their response time was very slow and someone could not even find my house so I decided to choose Closet World. I had a closet installed several years ago in my entertainment center. It looks good and my friends who come here feels that it looks good too. I'm a returning customer and I'm waiting for another installation for my bedroom. However, I hope that the turnaround time would be quicker. For example, I had someone come to measure today and I need to wait for one month. They told me that average working time is three weeks. I wish I don't need to wait so long because when people want to have a closet that means they have a lot of things they want to put in. But generally, I'm very satisfied with Closet World. Their product looks nice and my friends agree. The installers are very patient and easy to communicate. After the installation, they try to clean out very well.

Closet World have the quickest install time over other closet companies so we got them to do four custom closets and a garage storage closet for us. In the beginning my contact with the designer were quite frequent. A little disappointed that there was no follow up especially since we had some issues and she told me that the installer would take care of it. We had come up with a couple of issues that would have been discovered when she was doing the measuring but unfortunately they were not. The guys had to come back another day because things had to be recut.
I'm a fundraiser and our whole thing is follow up, follow up, follow up and I realized in sales it's different but I think to keep a customer engaged with the company and having Closet World be top of mind when we're ready to re-do other parts of our house, follow up is always nice. "How does it look? Are you happy with everything?" It doesn't have to be phone call. It could be an email. But just let us know that we were more than an address on the roster. It was still $5,000 so discount, no discount, whatever because I believe everybody has discounts and deals and the competition is really great and what makes a difference is customer service.

Closet World was having a discount at around the same time that I was looking at doing some work on the master bedroom closet. There were wall units along both sides and another unit across the back. It's a combination of hanger bars, shelves, and cabinet with doors. The designer that came out here went through a lot of options with me, and I felt I had a lot of control over what was going on. I got what I was looking for and I got some good feedback for it. The installer was great, but there were two small pieces of metal missing that hold up one of the hanger bars. They sent me two male pieces so that didn't fix the problem. So I had to call two or three times before they sent me the right pieces. They were so slow but once I had the right pieces, it took me about 20 seconds to install both of them. It didn't require a big production. Now, I'm happy with it. If I had another closet to do, I would call them again.

I was gonna go with Container Store but then my contractor said the quality is better with Closet World so I tried them. I had closets installed in every bedroom. And in my extra room, I got an extra wall-to-wall closet, so I can put my shoes on. The designer designed some stuff for me and it was last minute. I told him I had to get back in my house and that he should go for it. But the design that he made for one of the bedrooms wasn’t feasible. When the installer came to put it in, it didn’t fit and it bulged. So he called his manager and they were like, “We just have to come out another day and fix it.”
The installer took that upon himself and said, “If I change this a little bit, if it's okay with you, then we don’t have to come out.” And he redesigned it and it was amazing. I was so grateful to him taking it upon himself because he wouldn't have to take extra hours and come back out again. However, we had a few cases that they didn’t have enough material for, so they said that they would come back and install, which they did. But they still missed one piece that they have not installed, but other than that, we're truly happy overall. They were really amazing. They got it done, there was no goofing around, and they were out of there. I would use Closet World again.

I had my walk-in closet in my master bedroom, some drawers and the hanging closet space installed by Closet World. The designer was a little flaky but she was all right. She is like a free-spirit type of person and didn’t have all of her stuff with her so I had to wait while she went and got some other new papers because I guess they changed contracts. And she smoked, which I didn’t appreciate.
They only sent one person to do the installation and he was so slow. I was there from 1:30 until 6:00 that night. I had an appointment at Kaiser that I was supposed to go over to at 5:50 and I was late for that because he was so slow. And when he took out the old closet stuff, he messed up the wall. I got pictures of the damage he did. I called Closet World about that and they sent the same guy back out. But the cabinets and desks, which Closet World installed in our garage and office, were much lower quality than what we were sold initially. The office furniture was garage quality and the customer service was terrible. The salesperson or designer was definitely a good saleswoman and sold us a bill of goods about how high the quality of their product and we believed her but then she never followed through with customer service when things went wrong. She kept blaming on other people, and wasn't there for us. For the amount of money that we paid for it, the product was not even close to the price tag. I've used Closet World before and we're modifying an existing closet they installed originally. The lady estimator who did the measuring drew it up, gave me a price. When the installer came out, everything was completely wrong. The installer, because he was just good at his job, took the existing stuff. I asked the estimator if we can just take the existing closet back apart and trim it and then put it back in because it was just an inch too big after we did some modification to the floor. She said, 'no', and we can use the side panels but not the rest of the stuff. My client approved it so I said we could get ahead, do the new shelves and use the old panel. Everything came out wrong because it was too big than the new stuff that came out and we already paid $300 or $380. The guy said he could cut down the old stuff and it will be fine. So he trimmed them down, put it back together and it looked great.
No one ever got a hold of me about settling on what the payment would be because it wasn't the original estimate. A month later I get a phone call from someone saying I still owe $500 to Closet World. I replied that I don't owe them money because the job really wasn't done as planned. It was the salesman's mistake so I thought they should stand behind their work.
It was a cabinet to go over a toilet in our potty room and it's so high that I had to use a stool to reach it. They were also supposed to have knobs, but they put the wrong pull bars on them, like the ones in the garage which were not supposed to be what went in the bathroom. Then the other day, I was putting something away in one of the garage cabinets and realized that there's a big gouge in the back panel of the cabinets because it was obviously patched poorly. It's a lengthy process, but I appreciate that it was well laid out and drawn and we could really visualize what we were going to get. The designer was able to put what we wanted into the design plan.
I had contacted them several months before I needed the product installed because I was having the house built. Once I had closed on the house, I had them come back to make sure that everything that they had taken from the model home was accurate to my home. But when the paperwork was turned in they said it would take two weeks out from install. So I started kind of contacting them and a week had passed but I hadn't heard anything. I kept calling them, but I was not getting any response. When I finally got a hold of them, they said they were going to install it on the next month. I told them that it would not work, but they were able to get through all that and get an earlier installation date that worked.
The actual installation went well, but they had to come back to do two of my drawers because they were supposed to have divider trays in them. They're also coming back next week to replace a drawer because they cracked one when they installed the door pulls. Other than that, everything turned out well. I bought two closets from Closet World. The installer was able to jimmy it a little bit. We’re happy that it looks good and fine. He left two things for us to hook up by ourselves and one of those wasn’t working. I tried to get resolution on that and then no one ever returned any of my calls or my emails, which I’m still a little surprised too by the sales person because I liked her and she’s the one that sold it to me. Then I have two other closets that I wanted done and so I thought that they won’t get that business. But overall, it worked out okay.

I used Closet World in 2003 in my old house and I was happy with them back then that I decided to use them again. I went straight with them and had them do all closets in our four bedrooms. I got a good price and the designer who came to us was very professional. My wife loved her because she came three times to take the exact measurements and to double check which I liked. She was also courteous. I work in sales and I appreciate any good salesman. When she was overwhelming us with her effort, I went with the deal to please her. She worked very well with us and gave us the best deal.
The installation was very professional. The people came on time and did all the work. The only negative about them was they left a lot of dust behind them in my driveway where they cut the wood. It stayed like that for two days until my gardener took care of it. I suggest that the installers have a broom clean and maybe get some water. They shouldn't leave anything like that. Other than that, I’m happy with the service. Everything was good from the beginning.

We were in a rush and didn't have time to price-match because we were finishing the construction of our home. We also didn't get estimates and just went with Closet World for the reputation we heard about. We were extremely displeased and upset with the designer. I would have liked to have been more thoroughly informed about what we were buying and the product that we were buying versus what she said we were getting in the booklet that they gave us. There's a huge booklet on the three different types of closets they offer. It's kind of like base then it goes more to a premium. But what was pointed out to us in the pictures was not what we were buying. I feel there was a complete bait-and-switch that happened and to the point where we looked up ConsumerAffairs and past legal issues that Closet World had encountered.

I was good with it and I did all the tear down myself and painted the closet. I had it all ready for them when they came in. Though the work they did was expensive, I wanted to have my closet organized and I’m pretty happy with it. I also did have a guy from Closet World call and ask me how everything was going. We had two regular bedroom closets done by Closet World. The designers were very good and professional. I had two different designers for two different occasions, and they both did a really great job. However, there was one thing where one designer said both sides of the closet could be reversed but when they came to install it, they said they couldn't because they're millimeters off. They fixed that, though. They ended up giving me a little free shelving so that I'm able to reverse it. They were really good about fixing the issues that we had. We had other issues along the way, but they always made it better.
Closet World showed up on time with a narrow window but I didn't have the best installation experience. During the first installation, the installers were very friendly. The guy was unloading his truck and it was a beautiful sunny day, then randomly, it started to rain, getting the closet outside in the driveway wet all over. He had to re-pack and said he couldn't install it as its wet so he will just come back. Two weeks later, they came back and installed it but did so incorrectly. It was a different guy and a few things were off. They had to come back a third time and then threw in free moldings for me because of that. Then they forgot the belt hanger so they came back a fourth time. There were a few mix-ups, but they always made it better.
For the second installation, they had to come back twice. The first time, we were going over the design as they were installing it, when the installer said, "You have a 12-inch drawer." I said, "No, they're 10-inch." We looked at the pictures and he said, "You're right. They are 10-inch, but I have 12-inch ones in the truck. I'll have to come back with new drawers." So they came back a week later with new drawers. It was a pain but they were always very nice about it. And they said, "What can we throw in for free because of your trouble?"
So I wasn't overly impressed by any of the experiences...but I like how my closets turned out, and I feel like I got a good deal. I probably could have gone with a more high-end company and had an easier experience, but it was fine. Overall, it was a good experience. I'm happy with the closets. They're wonderful. I would recommend them to a friend, with some caveat.

She was on top of it and kept us informed and nothing felt like we were bothering her.
We got a very large walk-in master closet. The installers that put it together for us were pretty quick. They thought they were going to have to take another day longer because of some measurement mishap on behalf of my contractor, but they rectified it. I came home and I told them I was very pleased to finally see that there's a closet in there after all the confusion between my contractor and their lack of participation in the matter. But the installers were great and I thank them for not dragging it out. They came in, got the job done and were out. It was perfect.

Closet World had a really good price compared to others. It was better than buying the closet and building it ourselves. I like how many options we had to choose from and that the products are customize-able. Their designer took a while to warm up to us but she did get more friendly. Her drawings were awesome. She drew what the products are gonna look like and how far they're going to be. It really helps to paint a picture and not just like put it on a piece of paper. She also had to do it several times and that's a good thing to help people know what exactly they wanted and to move forward with their purchase.
There were some back and forth as to choosing another option for one of the countertops we chose and then having a price adjustment. I don't want to have to pay them $40 extra. I didn't want to think about it and told them to choose whatever. But the countertop ended up being discontinued and that's a few points off from Closet World.
Also, the initial measurements taken by the designer were incorrect. The shelf that goes on the side of the garage is supposed to be floating with a six inch gap underneath so that it would be easy either clean put any kind of flooring underneath, but it ended up getting in the way of the garage opener. We had to modify it so there's only two inches from the bottom. I had no idea and just assumed that the designer was gonna take the proper measurements. It wasn't until the installation guys were already here that I knew we had to make adjustments. One of the installation guys called the designer and let her know what was happening but she never called back, so I was like "Let's just move forward with this. I don't want to have to reschedule." I'm not sure anymore how I'll put flooring underneath the closet, and that's another negative point.
The guys who performed installation were really cool. One of them was very understanding, and I'm glad that he pointed the designer's error out prior to installation. He knew that if the closet was gonna be installed, we'll run into the issue later. I also got a call the week after asking if I got everything I needed. I'm satisfied with how things came out with Closet World.

I expected a good quality closet and Closet World had a good name. Their designer was good. But one of the issues that came up later in the design was that we found out that she missed a certain shelf. When the the person was installing it, we said that shelf should be there but the installer said there were no lines in the design so he couldn't give me the shelf. We were caught by surprise. I left a voicemail message and feedback to the person who did the install and he said he'd get back to me. He said they took the measurements but nobody bothered to respond once the installation was done. It was just a matter of four shelves which was not even $10, but now we have to take the measurement, go to Home Depot or Lowe's, and try to match the color and get it. So it was not a good experience in the end.
Nobody even bothered to return the call. We are not designers so I did not realize what the two or three lines mean. He said there is a shelf line but there should be another line on top of the hanging line for another shelf. I signed on the design but it was so subtle that I would never know. In general, we like the entire closet except for the missing clothes line. And whenever my friends ask, I tell them to be very careful with those kinds of designers and Closet World because once they get the money, they really don't care.

He never asked where I wanted the bars to go and he had put everything so high. My husband is 6'2" so his clothes are long and his has to be high, but I can hardly hang them. I’m only 5' tall and I can't move the bars down. But if I don’t have them up that, then they hit that shelf that’s below. I’ll just get used to it and leave it the way it was. First of all, the woman from Closet World that came to measure completely measured all three of my closets wrong. So when they came in to install the closets, they couldn't because all the stuff had been cut wrong. Then when I was talking to them, I wanted to cancel because I was on a time crunch, and the guy said I wouldn't get any money back, after it was all their fault. They made a special trip out on a Saturday to finish the work, and it's crappy. There's space where there shouldn't be space against the walls, and there are marks on the back of the closets. It cost me $4,000 to have three closets done which wasn't cheap.
The independent installer was great. But other than that, I was really unhappy, and I told the company. They obviously didn't even tell the person that measured my closet because she then had the gall to send me a letter. She didn't apologize and just wanted more business. It's like whatever happened didn't even get back to the employee that had screwed up. I would not recommend Closet World to anybody, and would never have them do anything again. The person from Closet World who came to me first to do the design and measurements showed me a sample and she said that this is chip and peel resistant. If somebody says something to me, I take their word for it and I said, “Okay. That sounds good, I’ll place the order.” But quite a few of the planks that came were chipped at the edges. If the lady hadn’t said that it wasn’t going to be chip resistant I might not have felt so upset about it. I called the designer and I was very upset with her for this chippy edges. And she was very helpful. They did replace it twice for me, but at the end of the day I just gave up. This is the quality of the board and I just have to live with it. They are not smooth and flat. But I still am nervous about accidentally chipping one of the edges. I’m extremely careful. I have a little one and expecting another one, so I’m being extremely anxious when my kid gets near my closet.
I’m not blaming any of the people who came to help me with the design and the installation and the repair. But the person installing the closet did a very good job. The installers were very helpful and clean. I don’t have any issues with the supervisor who sent the same guy back with replacement planks. I like the design. It fits the way the overall closet turned out. But even though you have an excellent team and great customer service, the quality of the board is not what you are told it is.
Then I keep getting marketing calls from Closet World, saying if I ordered another closet that’s more than $1,000 worth I will get 50% off. Now I’m quite sure that I’m not going to go with Closet World another time. My contractor recommended that I try Closet World because he had someone else put it in and he said he was very pleased with the product. But I’m maybe a little picky or it could be the color I chose. The white really shows the chippy edges and that is maybe the reason it bothered me so much. Maybe if I got the wood finish, I wouldn’t have noticed it or maybe other clients don’t notice it so much.

Closet World's designer was very nice and seemed to know her business. I wanted my water heater enclosed and that was something she helped me with, but she said that the gentleman coming out to install would do the final deal on the water heater. She mostly did the cabinets and he brought the size that she brought out, which was very nice, but we put them on differently than how she had them on my drawing. I didn’t really like the way they were on the drawing, but I accepted it. He changed it though and did it exactly like I wanted. I’m very pleased. I ran out of money, but I was happy with the work and happy with the look. I want some more work done so I will give them a call in the future.

Closet World was referred to us and we had them install closet organizers. The customer service part and the installers were great. They were efficient. But, as far as price, they were extremely expensive. Although I was able to negotiate and they did come down quite a bit, I thought that the products would be of way better quality because of the price that I paid. I'll probably go to Ikea. I found them to be the same level for half the price. I'm a residential developer and I have a lot of high-end homes that I do throughout the year, at least ten. But for what I got where no back is clean, the handles are ugly, and spending over $4,000, I was really turned off.

Closet World met all my needs and did a professional job. I went with them because of their reputation and the discount that was offered. I also purchased from them because of the salesperson. She made sure that she knew exactly what we wanted because the cupboard had to work around cars and bicycles. She also asked about the height of the cupboard and what I wanted to put in it. At first the reps told me that the installation will take two days but they sent a crew who did it in one day. They did a great job and finished in under eight hours. However, they had to go get another piece because somebody sent them the wrong desk top with the wrong link. The bench top was the wrong link. They had to go to Irvine to get another one made and luckily, I live close.

We liked Closet World's pricing so we had their designer come to our house and look at our closet. We drew out a picture of what we wanted our closet to look like and she gave us the drawings and estimates which were good. She was really nice and pleasant to work with. She definitely worked within our budget so that made us really happy. The gentleman who came in to install the closet did a really good job but he failed to mention the fact that he needed to disassemble some of the railings that we had in our closet. That was something that the estimator also didn't tell us. So he cut through the walls and the newly remodeled floors that we had installed to get the panels in properly and that was a little bit of a bummer. And then he left all of the insides of the closet out on our front porch which lied there like pieces of wood and we couldn’t dispose of them. I asked him if he could take it with him but he said, "We don't do that."

She was really personable and very knowledgeable. She had samples and we had a very good discussion. We were in another county during the installation and I came to check on construction and remodel progress about twice a week. I was really pleased with what I saw.
We were doing so much work, we actually had to change the material we were going to use which necessitated changing the contract. We had to email back and forth trying to get that facilitated but it was taken care of without getting ugly and complicated. Based on everything else we were doing, it was really a very simple process. It was easier than getting the kitchen cabinet handles.

We just bought our house and the storage space is severely lacking. I saw a Closet World ad in the paper and they were having a special for half off so we called them. The designer was wonderful but we're not too happy with them after the installation. It seems to us that some of the rods are too short so they keep falling down and it's very annoying. When we’re moving clothes back and forth, the rod moves one way or another and eventually comes down. There are three of them that do it and we’ve noticed that the rods that don’t do that are those fitted perfectly into each corner of the little hook thing. There’s no give and they stay. I’m very dissatisfied and we need to call and get them back out. But we’ve been really busy and now we’re leaving so we’ll try and call after Christmas to see if we can get them fixed.

I was looking for closet companies and had a small, local, independent person come over to my home. She was great and her price was a little bit less. But I really liked the designer who came over from Closet World. She was just wonderful to work with and really smart, knowledgeable, and clever with her design. On the other hand, the installation was a terrible experience. It lasted three weeks. The first installation guy did not have all the correct pieces. When I took a look at the paperwork that he had, it was missing a page and some details.
A second person was sent out and the problem with that was it was a different person, and he didn’t know where the first person had left off. He also arrived with some miscommunication about what had to be done and I had to go over it. He couldn’t really finish what the first person had done without tearing some of it out and dealing with an issue with the original wall in the closet, which ripped much more than the designer had suggested. I had to purchase some backing unexpectedly, which was $300 extra. It wasn’t finished that day. So then, another visit and a third person came out and he came with the backing but he pointed out that the first person installed some shelves that were not level. He had to tear everything out and start again.
I had to speak with the manager every single time. I had to call the designer twice and upset her because she’s not supposed to speak with installers. But there was no way of making sense of the situation without going back to her design with a little bit of her help. It was really a management problem and the fact that designers don’t get to speak with installers and the fact that there are three different installers. It was very frustrating. I felt really bad for the installers because it really wasn’t their fault. They did the best they could. It was a process management problem.

The salesman was thorough and took the time to design with his drawing, so we felt he would take good care of us. We had two closets installed: one in the man side and one in the woman. It's just wonderful for both closet space, and they look like we're in Neiman Marcus.
The designer was here for about an hour and a half. We had in-depth conversations, so that was great. The first day, they both helped me unload the closet, which I didn't realize that of course I had to do, but they were very helpful. The only thing that wasn't great was that the second day that the installer was here, the day before, his helper didn't show up the second day. The guy had to finish the install, the carrying in all the stuff and getting rid of the other stuff by himself, so he really worked hard that second day and went the extra mile. Closet World had some decent reviews and looked like a reputable company. However, I was not happy with their installation team. Their work had looked like something that we have purchased at Home Depot and installed ourselves. It wasn’t a high quality final product that we expected. When the work was done, we saw a huge gouge mark in the ceiling. We knew it was done by the installer because they left a putty stick behind. It seemed that they tried too quickly do a fill and hope that no one noticed it. I was very disappointed with the outcome.
When I called everybody up the chain of command within the San Diego region, I kept getting the, “Oh, I’m sorry about that.” But I felt like garbage. I tried telling them that somebody gouged our wall and did not even tell me or my husband that they screwed it up and ask us what they can do to make it right. It was, “Let me try and cover my tracks and get out of town as quickly as possible.” I was very critical in my review, and because of that the people at Closet World kept calling, “What can we do to make it right,” or not even doing that, just different kinds of contact. I eventually took that review down and the phone calls stopped.
Closet World is more interested in their own marketing and advertising than customer service. If they want to be more concerned about their own internal image instead of taking care of those who are paying hundreds of dollars for something I could have gone to Home Depot and purchased and done, so be it. Also, they're quick to sell my information out to get ad space, but as soon as it's a bad ad they're gonna do everything they can to get it taken down. I ordered the first for the counter tops, and he phoned me and said that it was discontinued, so he came back over the house with his other samples. When we picked out another one, he phoned somebody and asked if they had it and they said no, so I picked out another one, and two more which they didn't have as well. There was one which they had, but it would take four weeks. That experience was a little frustrating, to say the least, and I don't know if it was him or the company didn't send him the updated samples. I got the impression it was the company because he was quite frustrated, himself, that the products were discontinued.
The installation experience was pretty good for the most part. When they first came in, they said the cabinets wouldn't fit because they were meant for a garage, but they worked it out. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. They poked a hole in the side where they shouldn't have, for the washer and dryer, but it's in the cabinet, so I don't see the hole. I had three closets and some cabinetry installed by Closet World. The designer was very amazing and nice, but every single cabinet was wrong and every single closet I had installed had a problem. I had to have people come back several times to fix it. I had to miss a bunch of work to wait for contractors, who one of them was late and literally didn’t show up until 30 minutes before construction had to stop in my complex. And the worst part was the customer service. No one cared, or tried to help me and remedy the situation, or offer any kind of discount. I called several times. I went online to see what kind of reviews they had and saw 1 and 2 stars on almost every site. I am kicking myself that I didn’t do my due diligence before hiring this company. I’m an owner of a construction company wherein I was going to use them for other jobs. It was the worst experience and I was extremely dissatisfied.

I had some coupons and Closet World's designer came to my home at my convenience to help me so I went with them. But they overpriced it and then did huge discounts so I'm a little skeptical about that. They offered me a good discount but I am pretty sure I could have gotten more. The installation was okay but I won't hire them again.

Closet World helped me with my garage. But one major drawback was they didn't show up at all on some appointments wherein they should have. It happened more than twice or thrice and that really frustrated me. We had good interaction with the designer but she was not so knowledgeable. We had to tell her how we wanted the design. Then she didn't give the design to the installer and that delayed us for almost two months. Other than that, their price was cheaper compared to the other companies.

I tried California Closets but Closet World was a little cheaper. I had a walk-in closet done and then also an external pantry put in. The designers had three different designs and some good ideas. They worked with me and were all very good. It also worked out pretty well with the installation team. There were issues where they forgot some parts but they brought them back later. They followed up with what little mistakes they may have made and fixed them all. I'll definitely use Closet World again. They're a good company.

I purchased almost $5,000 worth of closet organizers from Closet World. The bedrooms were done first and they had to come back and do the garage. The master bedroom was an issue since they didn't finish the way that they were supposed to. They were supposed to give me the bottom additional hanging area but they gave me the shelf, which didn't have enough room to hang my clothes. When I called, they said they'll send the guys back to extend that part a little and give me a hanging rod. They also said if they didn’t come sooner than the second appointment, when they come to do the garage they would definitely have the material to correct the master bedroom closet. The area wasn't done properly so when they came for the garage, I asked them about the situation and to finish the master closet first. But they had no idea and they didn't have the proper material so they weren't able to fix it.
Also, they asked me to pay the full remaining balance in advance before they could install the garage closet, which was rude. No one gets paid full before they fully finish the job, and I ended up paying them the full amount before they even installed the closet. They finished the job, left and said they took the measurements for the master closet. It’s been a month but they never came back and no one has returned my call. I called the supervisor several times and every time, he’d say he’ll call back but I never heard back. I also called the designer. She sweet talked me into it. I offered her coffee and sweets, invited her back to my house and I was really kind and generous to her, and I believed her stories. But now my master closet is not fully done and I can't do anything about it, which is really unfair. Closet World is a terrible company and I would not recommend anybody to them.

We had a garage and a master bedroom closet installed by Closet World. Their designer was very friendly. She knew what she was talking about and how to sell her products. After we spoke to her, we didn't want to do any other estimates and just went for it. The first team came in really late and left the actual cabinets. My area's dark and when they were cutting the pieces of wood, they left chipped wood all over the closet. So it wasn't a good experience, but we paid too much money for it. Maybe they should have come in when it was daylight. I had to lend them my nightstand lamp for them to see what they were doing. They need more professionalism when it comes to that type of business. But my husband insisted on giving it another try when we did the garage and that team did a good job.

We needed to get things done right away and it was Closet World's speed that was able to get the remodeling done. They managed to get everything done in two weeks when everybody else was quoting us six months. It was interesting though because we saw a lot of other pitches from other companies and Closet World seemed to be the least tech savvy in terms of the tools that were provided to them. They were just using grass paper and so, I was a little concerned in the beginning. But then, it ended up not really being an issue and they gave us the delivery time that we needed so we chose the grass paper pitch over the others.
Everything's wonderful. It's only the house sold, but we'll put it back on the market next year. Being pressed for selling the house, we were in a rush and just had the bigger house off to market. They got us a great deal wherein we paid half as much and the quality is the same. They came over, installed it and did everything I asked them to do because we were in the process of moving. They cut all the stuff in the garage instead of doing it in a different location. They were just fantastic. We'll be definitely using them again when we sell our house and move into a new one. In fact, our Realtor is the one of the top Realtors in the State of California and she's recommending Closet World to her other clients as well. So they got a lot of business from us, but they also give us a lot still.

I spent a few minutes here and there trying to figure out which build-it-yourself cabinets already made could work if I reinforced them and would fit in the right location because over the years they’ve gotten smaller, cheaper, thinner, and weaker. What made us go with Closet World was their pricing and their design, which was a combination of the durability. I prefer to design my own stuff and install it, but my wife wanted me to have the time off because of how busy my schedule is. Also, their stuff was built strong enough to what I would need, and they were gonna build it to fit.
I installed two two-door cabinets with adjustable shelves (one was 36 inches wide, and the other was 48 inches), and a countertop two-door model adjustable shelving without drawers which was 36 inches wide and 12 inches deep. Then there were additional cabinets overhead that workspace. They were all 84 inches high. However, I'm not satisfied with Closet World and we would not use them again.
At first, everything seemed to go well. When the units were first delivered to be installed, there was an issue with the dimensions having been changed where the countertop unit instead of being 36 inches wide was reduced to 24 inches wide with two 48-inch wide close door cabinets. It was not what we had discussed because my wife was specifically looking for a countertop that she could use for her little things going in and out of the house, in between the cars. We have a smaller garage now, so those features were important to her. When I called the designer, she said, “Oh, I forgot to call you about that.” She said she was gonna talk to the company. The company said she never did. Then she said she would call us.
When I first called her to find out what was going on and to let her know that I refused the cabinets as built, she said she would call back and she didn’t, even though we called more than once to try and reestablish contact. I got a call from the promotions department that said that if we had a designer come out in a certain amount of time on whatever we had built that was $1,100 or more would end up being 50% off. I told them, “Is this what I’m understanding correctly?” They said yes. I said, “Does it matter which designer?” They said, “No. Are you requesting the same designer?” I said no. The same designer showed up and she said she knew nothing about that promotion, so we have not done anything more with Closet World.
The construction was late. I was originally quoted that they'd be there between 1:00 and 3:00. Around 3:30, I got a call from somebody at their dispatch center that said they’re running late and it has to do with traffic, and they’ll be there in the next 30 minutes. They showed up an hour later and I asked them where did they come from that the traffic was so bad? They said there wasn’t any traffic issue and they were in Stevenson Ranch. So the integrity of the information relayed to the customer was suspect and I did not appreciate that. They could have just told me straight up. I’m flexible and I know what it’s like to work with schedules and compensate all the time for allowing for variances in expected versus actual arrival times. I felt that the designer had questionable follow through and communications. There were communication issues, which was possibly left-hand-right-hand syndrome.
There was a follow-up appointment, but not on that issue. They finally installed the correct cabinets. They arrived roughly within the time they said they would, so I have no problem with the actual install. So far it seems to be holding up. But then after the designer said she didn’t know anything about it, my wife asked her to leave because she was only tolerating it for me because I wanted to have a workbench put in and some additional storage for just expansion room. With that 50% off offer, I didn’t ask for it. They offered it to me and they said I qualified.
After that, she left a voicemail for me that she needed to talk to me. She was sorry about the confusion with the design, but she needed to talk to me because there were missing parts with the design that was installed. Her information was suspect and now the build quality was suspect. I didn’t know who to believe. If somebody were to ask me who a good cabinet maker would be, I’d have to tell them I don’t know. I do believe that there is no such thing as perfection, but they should at least try and make it right and don’t need to make excuses and tap dance around and/or give me different information.
It’s sad to say that in my case, the cabinets appear to fit the same level of craftsmanship with KB Home. I reached out to Closet World because I was led to believe that they were closer toward Toll Brothers. I don’t know if the cabinets are gonna fall apart because I don’t know what parts were missing and I’m not even sure if they’re really missing because I now doubt the integrity of the person telling me that. They could be using that as a ploy to get me to allow them to come to the house with those parts and then offer me another deal and try and work something in. We’re at the point where we just assume we won't have them in our house. I feel bad for Closet World because I know what it’s like to be a part of a company's division, and they bust their butt to do their best and they find out somebody else is like nowhere near and they think they’re all that.

I explored the possibility of working with Closet World and the quote I got from them was fair based on my knowledge of the marketplace. I had a closet for my daughter put into her room that includes shelving, coat hangers, and a three-drawer system. Then, I also had a desk along with some other cabinetry on one wall of my master bedroom to allow me to have a workspace.
The designer was fantastic. She scheduled a time to come in the house around when my availability was. She gave me her opinion on what would go well in the space that I was looking to do. She also worked very closely with me to actually accommodate a piece of technology that was on my wall and ultimately worked around that so it would fill the space in my master bedroom the way I liked it.
They’re a great company. Their installers came in and did it as quickly as they could which was a three-hour turnaround time. They cleaned up after themselves, too. It was the product that I was looking for. Then I had one concern after the install team had come in so I called the customer service line. I thought their people would be back the next day or the following day based on their deployment schedule, but they came the same day and fixed it right away. Then after a while, she called and asked for additional stuff. I told her to call back the next day but I never heard anything. Then the installers came in and were amazing. They showed up on time and were nice and professional. However, the measurements the designer gave them were incorrect so they had to go back, re-measure and put in the right length.

I’m really not too happy with Closet World. We did a lot better when we had the first one over in Sun City about three years ago. We were in Palm Desert, California and we called a couple of places and Closet World. The CW designer that came out was incredible. She was thorough and we liked her. We were spoiled by her. She did three closets and I had something added later on and she did a beautiful job. It’s quite a highlight of our home. But over here at Laguna Woods, the girl was very nice but she didn’t do well with me. We installed shelves and drawers in one closet and it turned out to be a couple of closets. Their installers realized that I wasn’t happy so they added a couple of things to make the closet better. They were really good but I would never recommend Closet World ever again.

We changed from what we decided to do first into something different by his recommendation and it worked out really good. We were really happy with that.
Installation went well, too. Howard at their office coordinated our prior and latest installs. After the latest product was put in, the installer realized that it would be nice to have shelves right in the middle so he called corporate and said that. Howard agreed and the company brought us shelves the next day. They also didn't charge us for them so that was nice.

There were two mistakes and I allowed one mistake to go, and merely adjusted it so that it worked, although I didn't like it. If it were in the house, the designer would have to do the entire wall again. However, the other mistake was that the closet was too big, so it wouldn't fit in the space and the installers had to come back to redo it, and it has cost a lot of materials for their company to do that. Friends' reviews say that Closet World is pretty good so I had three closet remodels done thru them. Everything went great and smooth with the designer. The experience with the installation team was good as well. Closet World's design is absolutely superb and I was very pleased.

The Closet World designer was good. She came back and she talked to both my husband and me which was great. There was a little back and forth about the width of the columns for the hangers and then the center column was drawers and shelves. It was confusing because they couldn’t estimate exactly how wide it would be depending on if they did a fixed shelf or not. Once the installer started working on it, it ended up being way too skinny. But he came and got me each time and I had him change it so it was solved. It took a little while, but it’s fine.

The products I had installed by Closet World were really good. The design was what I was looking for and needed and so was the price. The installers were fast and cleaned up after. They cut some stuff outside and cleaned it up too. The designer was also extremely nice. He was able to come at 6:00 and stayed until about 8:00 till he was finished. He drew up three different samples and took the time to explain them to me. He was very courteous, and pleasant and knew a lot. I was able to explain to him what I needed and he was able to put that on paper. That’s why I went back the second time. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

I felt that ClosetWorld had the advantage of being able to offer good pricing and efficiency being a large company that's more established because they have a system and have worked out the bugs. I felt it was going to be able to offer quality and things that sometimes smaller companies may not be able to always offer. We had several closets done and had some that were regular basic closets for double hanging clothes for my son so he could hang more clothes and also for guests when they come. We also had need of having shelves and things in the office area so that we could have more efficient use of the space.
Their designer was terrific. She was not only fast but very capable of making her designs really maximize the space we had and making the very best use of them in terms of what we wanted. And I told her upfront that I didn't wanna spend a lot of money. I wanted to get the maximum benefit for the least price. We went over that, I gave her the parameters and she immediately responded to the things that I had told her for each closet and went right to town. She knew exactly what to do and I didn't have to say it twice. She was all about getting the job done but still very personable and extremely nice at the same time. It was such a pleasant experience. I was very impressed with her intelligence.
Then the installers were fantastic. They came completely prepared and had everything they needed. Certain things had to be pre-cut in a certain way because of our baseboards and everything was perfectly measured and pre-cut. And I thought there's gonna be some foul-up that has to be redone but not at all. Everything was done precisely. It was amazing to watch these two guys work together and with each other. They were a great team. When they walked in the house and saw that I was walking barefoot, they immediately put booties on without asking. They did that out of respect which was really something. I've never had contractors that were so thoughtful.
Then they made sure everything was done perfectly down to the last detail. They went above and beyond and any concern or question that I had about anything, they were responsive and helpful. I was so pleasantly surprised by everything. I also asked them what if I wanna make any changes in the future and they explained that they have the factory right here in town so if I decide to add or make changes, I can call them and make another order. I was so glad that I went with Closet World. I was really pleased. It was absolutely the best experience. I already wrote ClosetWorld a recommendation.

We contacted Closet World when we purchased our home two years ago. At the time, the quote we obtained from the designer was well outside our budget. The designer didn't offer any alternatives to the type of materials, finishes or options available so we opted to wait. This time, we contacted Closet World and the designer came out on schedule. She worked up a new design (I believe since it had been 2 years since the last one) and took our deposit. We were contacted shortly thereafter with an install date, which I appreciated very much. On the day of install, our appt. was changed from morning until the afternoon due to a sick call. Hey! It happens.
The installer arrived alone, (no co-worker or helper on hand) and as he was putting the pieces together, commented on the lack of storage for my shoes. My husband questioned the installer and made a call to the designer asking where the shoe storage piece was. The designer said "oh, I left it out because you couldn't afford it." First, the designer shouldn't have assumed what I could afford or not afford. Cost was not discussed until the end of the designer's visit. Secondly, my husband specifically asked for shoe storage so the quote should have included that. The decision about final cost or scope of the work should have been left for us to decide. The designer told my husband at the time of installation, that my shoes could go underneath the hanging clothes which doesn't make any sense. Then I would have to dig through the clothes to the shoe boxes. That defeats the purpose.
Further, the installer made a comment to my husband "well, you signed the contract." While that was a true statement, perhaps that comment was better left unsaid at the time. Now, I have to wait almost 3 weeks for the additional quote and installation of something that was supposed to be part of the original design. I am beyond frustrated at this time and perhaps someone should counsel their staff of providing all of the things customers are looking for and let the customer make their own decisions about what options they want versus what they can live without.

I was doing some research online for closets and came across Closet World. They felt right from the very beginning. They answered the phone quickly when I called and they seemed to be organized in putting me through the right person to talk to. I got estimates from other companies and Closet World was slightly more expensive, but they had good service and they were responsive. The designer came in and spent a lot more time than their competitors. Her drawing was better than the others as well. It looked almost like a picture, and it was so detailed that it made us feel better. We then had them install a closet in the garage.
The installation went as planned. They were very good in scheduling it and being on time. In fact, they did it faster than anticipated. The only thing is that instead of doors that would open, they put some shelves on top of some of the closet that had sliding doors. We didn’t like these shelves because there was not a lot of space. So we called them up and they gave us a credit, and they came back a few weeks later and removed four shelves that we wanted out. As a matter of fact, we called them after that and they came and installed something else on the other wall. Closet World is a great company. We had an outstanding experience, and I would use them again when I need them.

I liked Closet World's ad in the newspaper. It was appealing plus I liked the special. The designer was very good. He had a high level of knowledge. The only regret I have is that I wasn't there when they installed the closet in the garage. I should have been there because they made the bar shorter and when I went to go use the closet, it wasn't conducive for my long dresses. So now because it's just me, it's hard to redo those things, but eventually I'm going to have them put another one in because I really need to and when I have the other one, I'll make sure I'm there when they install it so they could adjust all the stuff according to my needs.

I used Closet World before in a property in San Diego, so this is my second time using them. The designer dealt with my wife because I sent the family back to California ahead of me to the home so my son can start school on time. I was interacting with her on the phone to get the closet design set up right. I know that some things get lost in translation when talking on the phone and I consider myself a fairly good communicator, but we still don't have restitution on the install despite about three different phone calls with the designer and she has washed her hands off it. Even when the installer showed up, they said the design was off. The closet is already paid for but it’s a faulty design and install that I'm trying to find a resolution on.

ClosetWorld had the ability to meet my specifications more closely than the other company I looked at. I had two 36-inch-wide cabinets that go from about 42 inches off the ground to the ceiling. And then, underneath these are two sets of two 36-inch drawers and then a set of two 42-inch drawers that went underneath the window all in one wall. They were white with molding and had the oil rubbed bronze, 11-inch handle. The designer came in and we reviewed my design preferences. I designed the closet first then she made suggestions to make it more affordable and look better. She was really nice, easy to work with and the best. The installer was really very friendly. He came in and did his job.
After installation, I noticed the cabinet doors looked funky from what I was expecting and realized they weren't the doors with the molding on it. So, I made a phone call to the designer to review and discuss it and the installer waited. The designer then said that she would put in the change because she had misunderstood me, and the installer was really nice about it. He said that he'll put the handles on anyway so that I can start using them and that someone will come and switch them out, and within 48 hours, the handles were switched out. I was really happy with the ease of getting what I wanted and how quickly they were accomplished, and that even though there was a problem, it was easily rectified.

I saw an ad of Closet World that said that it was 50% off, free delivery and installation but it ended up being extremely expensive. They say free installation but they make up for that by charging an arm and a leg for the product. The finish also cost extra. But the doors, the face of the doors and drawers are very nice wood grain. The installers were also on time and very professional. However, looking at the producy after they had left, I’m definitely disappointed. There are gaps in some of the door cabinet that sits on top of the countertop. They also sent me an email asking for a response and I responded to them but haven't heard back from them. I would never use Closet World again.

I had Closet World put in closets in my garage in my old house seven years ago and recently, I had them install their product in the garage again. The designer was pretty good. The installation team were good, too, and very professional. Everything was good the first time, and I didn't have to do anything else. I was satisfied with the whole thing. However, the price could have been a little better. They didn't give me that great of a discount for being a repeat customer. Also the lady who was supposed to come in first didn't show up, so we had to reschedule, and they had to send another designer.

I hired Closet World for a large customized master bedroom closet because I had a vague feeling that they had a good reputation, which turned out to be completely wrong. The designer was perfectly fine and was very nice and reasonably knowledgeable. She took a rather expensively long time when she came out. The original installation was horrific and I was left speechless. It was unbelievable. The closet was horrible, tacky, and looked cheap, which it was not. Closet World finally got it up to barely acceptable over seven additional installation days, which were not even consecutive days because they can't schedule to come back to fix their messes the next day so this took place over a period of six weeks.
The closet does not look the way we had designed it because the design had to be completely changed to try to correct some of the many installation flaws. They wore me out and I couldn't take it anymore. It got to a point where it’s no longer worth it. I couldn't have them to keep coming back to my house over and over, removing the closet again. But finally, two months later, they're out of my house and I got my clothes in my closet. I visited ConsumerAffairs the night of the end of the first two installation days when I was incredulous at the horrors that Closet World had put in my closet. I read a lot of the reviews but that was a little bit late, unfortunately.
I would not recommend Closet World to anyone except maybe to my worst enemy to torture them because it really was it was. The end result looked better than the original installation, but it still looks like a closet that my 15-year-old nephew bought the supplies at Home Depot and threw it together over a weekend. It does not look like a $5,800 closet by any means.

I didn't wanna go with the slow service at Home Depot so I went with Closet World. The designer I spoke with was wonderful. She was calm, very professional nice and clean. The installer was also very helpful. He took four hours to put my closet in the second floor. One of the base boards was coddled too much so there seems like a little area where there could be a shelf. They also cut the baseboard too much, but other than that, it's fine.

I had a bad experience with Closet World. I had this nice salesperson arrive at my home and she was very kind and nice. She did the measurements on my closets and she gave me numbers. She also went over the styles and prices. The thing she failed to tell me was that when they did the demolition on my current closet, they would not fix whatever they demolished afterward.
At the time of the installation, I was working and my daughter was at home. The person who installed the closets and did the demolition called me about an hour before he finished. I went to my house around 5:00 PM and to my surprise, he did the demolition and installed the new closet without patching any walls. They should have said, "We're gonna do the demolition but you need to hire someone to do the patching on the walls to cover the holes," not to install the new closet over the damaged wall. At least, if they don't wanna do it, just give me the opportunity to hire someone to do the patching, the painting, and then install the closet. That's the right thing to do.
And they charged me $4,600. So, what I did was call American Express and told them that I want to dispute the last payment. I was not allowed but I submitted anyway. I'm very upset with the situation and I'm not happy with the service and performance at all. I'm a person that if somebody does a job, I will pay for it but they have to do it properly. I even texted the salesperson to please call me so I can let them know but she never called. She just texted me and that's it - it's like she made the sale and disappeared.

My experience was fine with Closet World. I was shopping around and they were the best qualified. I did closets for my daughter and myself. The designer was excellent. She was very informed, professional and easy-going. The installers were on time, quick and cleaned up after the work. They completed the job and I didn’t need anybody to come back out. I would recommend Closet World to anybody else 100%.
