Everything went well. I like being able to get up and down the steps. The stairlift is a really good machine.

Taylor was the salesperson we dealt with and she was just golden. She talked to me like a human. She wasn't real pushy selling. She was just a human being and that was the best part of it. She made it really easy to make everything go. The installer was also great. He worked and did a really good job. It was done before we knew it. I've been diagnosed with MS and the stairs just got harder and harder every day. So, the Bruno stairlift has been a lifesaver. The only thing that could have been better is downstairs, where the track comes down, it sticks out. If there was a way to push a button in the feet to come down, ‘cause bending down is a little bit of an issue. But I've figured out how to make that happen.

I got a Bruno curved stairlift and it has top quality. I like that it keeps me from having to walk up and down the stairs. It's a little cumbersome but not bad. I've grown used to it.

The sales rep was a good fellow. He showed us what had to be done and how much it would cost. He was there for a good while and went through everything. The two fellows that put the stairlift up were excellent. They worked hard putting it in and took time out to show us everything after they put it in. We were satisfied. The quality of the stairlift is good. We use it every day and it's a big help for my wife. Bruno is a good company.

We love the Bruno stairlift. It has given us some mobility that we didn't have before. So, it's great. So many of my colleagues are not aware that the stairlift is potentially available through the VA so I'm trying my best right now to spread the word to those that could possibly use it. The only issue that we have is the right arm won't stay up when you get out of it. It's heavy and when it falls, you feel it. You can't get out of the way and so it has hit me several times. So I called the VA and told them about it. They said they would get back to somebody and get it taken care of.

The sales rep from Bruno was a nice guy and I had a very good experience with him. The guys who installed the stairlift were very friendly and professional. They got it done quickly. The quality doesn't look too bad. Me and my husband are young, but we live in a house with stairs and we knew that we would someday have to have it anyway. And we can't pack the dog up and down the stairs.

The young man who came for the installation knew his business. We love the Bruno stairlift. It gives me more stability. We only had it put on half of the stairway because most of the people who come to the house come in through the front door, so they don't need to face a stairlift when they walk in the door. I can make it up from there, that's not a problem. It works perfectly. It was a wonderful experience working with Bruno.

The installers of our Bruno stairlift were very good with what they did. They were quick. The stairlift is working pretty well. I was totally satisfied. I’m just concerned that the other one is making noise. The rep told me to give it a few weeks. But it's been longer than a few weeks. They said they can come back and readjust.

My mother feels safe with the Bruno stairlift. The model that we got doesn't power rotate. She needs to rotate herself and she was a little uncomfortable initially. But she’s getting there. There's a seatbelt and it's nice. I would like for mom to be able to use it. The thing is, she can buckle herself in, but she cannot unbuckle it because the button is a little stiff. It’s pretty low on one side, so she couldn’t really reach it. It’s really hard to reach if you have limited mobility with your shoulder, or are not tall, so your arms are not too long. For a person who’s below average height, and especially somebody elderly, with some arthritis in the shoulder, it is really hard to unbuckle. So, she ends up not using it.
There’s also a lever that you need to push to rotate the chair. In order to know that the chair has rotated all the way, sometimes this lever goes up and you can hear a click and that’s good. But sometimes, it has a very soft sound. It just very quietly moves up. It’s hard to gauge If the chair has rotated all the way or not. If there was an audible beep, just like there’s a beep when it reaches the top from the bottom, that would have been nice.

The Bruno stairlift is much quieter and faster than our old one but it’s still not very fast. It still takes a while to get down the basement, but we're happy with it. We were also very satisfied with the installers. They came and did it so quickly.

The installation of our Bruno stairlift went fine. They had it done the first day. But then they came back and they did some more things because they had to plug in, and my wife didn't like the way the bulky wire was coming around on it. So she said that needs to be hidden because we have a buffer on the hardwood floor on the bottom and it would hit it as it goes close to the wall. They fixed it. They were also very courteous. The quality of the stairlift is excellent.

The Bruno stairlift seemed like the best deal. My wife has ALS and the stairlift made it easy for her to get up and down the stairs. We got three of the stairlifts because we have a split entry. We have one that comes down off the split down in the basement, one that comes from upstairs into the foyer, and one that covers about three steps going into the garage. They're fine.

The dealer was extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and treated us very well. They came out, put it in, got it taken care of real well and cleaned up. Installation was under four hours and it was excellent. The stairlift is also excellent value for what it is and what it does. I can go down to the basement, which I haven’t been able to do for some time now, especially during storms.

The installation of the Bruno stairlift went smoothly. The unit runs as expected. It seems like a good unit. My dad's at the max capacity of it, so I could tell it's straining. It's a max capacity unit, so this is the heaviest duty of all the stairlifts out there. If you're looking for a heavy-duty unit, Bruno would be the one I would recommend.

The installation of our Bruno stairlift was great and I enjoy it. We're going to have to make a modification at the bottom of the steps, but it's gonna take a while to do that. Right now, the chair at the bottom of the steps has very little room to move when I get down there. If we take this wall off, we'd have to shorten that one. They talked about that one long piece on the steps. They said they can do that. I love the stairlift. I didn't need it so much for going down. But coming up, I'm so weak and I have a really bad shoulder from a car accident years ago and going up the steps was very difficult.

My wife can't make the stairs. So in order for her to come home, they had put her in a stair glide. The fella that put it in was a nice, young man. He came from Easton, Connecticut, and I used to live over near there. So we talked a little about that. But it was a very, very nice job, and very professional-looking. I’m very satisfied. I'm also using the chair because I’m a semi invalid myself. It's been a help if I go up and down the stairs myself. Everything is working good.

I live in a three-story house, and I’m 85. I was thinking about moving to a one-story, but I like my house and I thought having stairlifts is a lot more reasonable. My son’s a contractor in Newport Beach, California. They install a lot of elevators and chairlifts in homes, and they recommend Bruno. The installers were great. My son’s always saying on their job, “You better keep everything clean because my mother’s gonna come and inspect.” They did the same thing. They left no mess, and it was perfect. All in all, Bruno is a really good company, and I’m very pleased with the people that did the installation. They were fast to respond, and everything’s great. Now, I don’t have to move into a one-story house. I like the stairlifts.

I really thought that Bruno is the more quality company. We were able to go to the store and try the products and ride. The installer was one guy all by himself. It was amazing. The installation was quite a job for him to do and he did it really quickly too. He was really good. The stairlift goes so slow. We joke about it. Having the lift is really a big adjustment, but it helps me not to have pain. The only thing is there's a little footrest and it's not built to take your weight. Also, the chair is so short that when I go sit down, I have this urge to put my feet on the footrest and push standing up so I can scoot myself back in the chair further because it's so short. I realized, "Oh, gosh, I better not be pushing on the footrest like that." So, I just quit using the footrest. I just leave it folded up and I'm hanging my feet in the air. The chair could be longer and they could make that footrest stronger so that you won't break it with your body weight.

The rep from Bruno was very knowledgeable, which was one of the reasons why we went with him. He explained everything. And the two men who came to install the chairlift knew what they were doing. My cousin and I live together and she cooks a lot. So, we have bowls and pots and we never could bring them downstairs because both of us are in our 70’s. With the chairlift, I’m able to bring stuff downstairs. We got a freezer downstairs too so, if she needs something, she could go downstairs or I go downstairs. We don’t fall down the steps. So, it’s great. The chairlift made us both comfortable about going up and down the steps. It makes us feel that we’re gonna stay longer in the house because we’re able to utilize everything. It has helped because when I used to come up the steps, it was tiring and it’s not now. So, anybody should have it.
The chairlift fits great in the stairwell. I was concerned because we got a banister and the reps moved it out about six inches so the banister is still there in case there is anybody who doesn't need the stairlift. You don’t have to take that away. I’m amazed that I always thought the chairlift was gonna be more than what it was. It’s expensive but it’s affordable for anyone that needs it and I would recommend it. I was telling my cousin about it and I gave him Bruno’s name. I said that if he ever needs it, I would recommend it because he’s in his 70's also, so he wants to stay in his house as long as possible.

I am a polio survivor and had a chairlift on my stairway that was way too old. I called the company that I deal with for other mobility issues and Bruno was the only option they had. Matt was my salesperson and he was an A-plus. He knew what he was talking about, coming and going. The main install guy then came with an assistant. They took out the old chairlift and put in the new one.
This chairlift I have now is too big for my stairwell. I can no longer haul my laundry basket because it's on a basement stairway, which is very narrow. I've been experimenting with laundry baskets that will fit with me and the chairlift on going down the stairs. That's been an issue. Other than that, this chairlift made it much easier to get on and off because it has a swivel seat on it, which my other one did not have. The problem is that it only swivels at the top of the stairs and doesn't swivel at the bottom of the stairs. That doesn't make sense. I'm stuck with the same issue of a very difficult on and off the chairlift at the bottom of the stairs. I'm on a very narrow stairwell and trying to get off. I hit my forehead on the wall when I get off because it won't swivel. I already talked to the agent about that issue. He told me about the chair not swivelling in the beginning. I followed up by telling him how I liked it and he said to let him keep working on that.

The speed in which they got the stairlift installed was terrific and the guy that was here was very polite. The only thing about the stairlift is there are bumps. It's not a smooth glide all the way up to the top. It's not a big deal, but that's the only thing I've noticed. Otherwise, I'm very happy with it.

I liked the salesman. He was great. He talked to us and we compared other companies and the quality of the stairmaster. Bruno seemed like a very reliable company and that was what we were looking for. The installation team was very, very efficient, and very business and nice. They explained everything that they were doing. I really liked them and I would recommend them to anybody. They are there when they say they are going to be there at a certain time and you make an appointment. The quality of the product is great and I'm very secure using it and that kind of x's out the cost. It's not cheap but it's an investment.

I'm satisfied with my Bruno stairlift. It saved my hips because I was having a lot of pain in my hips and it has improved it in terms of when I go up at night. I just go straight up and I can turn the chair around and lift myself out. Before, when I get up the stairs, I'd be almost out of breath and I'd have to stand there for a little bit to get my hips back in.
My stairlift is the kind that goes against the wall. I thought they were going to put it on the step. I might have made a mistake because it's gonna be on the wall and the step. I found out that they skipped several steps and it's like a little platform that holds the railing that the seat goes up on. I can still vacuum in-between because there's a carpet on the stairs. Because of my stairwell, I thought it would be too narrow. It turns out that all I have to do is sit on it, and I just angle myself slightly, and I don't have any trouble with my feet hitting the spokes on the other side of the stairs. So, it's working fine with me.

My Bruno stairlift is a big help. Frontier Access came to my house and put the chair in. They were fantastic. The chair has been going up and down in the basement so I could do my laundry. I can't walk more than 100 yards so it helps a lot.

We removed one stairlift that failed and we got a new one at a very good place, and in one week flat, the fellow had it in and running and we're totally satisfied with it. It runs great. We're not replacing any stairlifts at this point. The fellow that’s in our medical center is a dealer of Bruno and he handles and services them. If something would go wrong, he is 10 minutes away from me. I'll never buy the more expensive model again. It's a loser. You can’t even adjust the height of the old one so that my wife could easily get in and out. They put an extended foot lift in, which cost us a couple of hundred dollars and that didn't help. So I've got a whole new guy that helped me. I've got a second stairlift that I'm going to upgrade.

The stairlift we have now is made a little better or made differently. It's just I'm not satisfied. My wife gets to the top of the steps and about 50% of the time, I would have to go up, shake it around then bring the chair down. She has a hard time and sometimes, she can't make it and she walks down. She wants me to take out the stairlift. She probably walked down 10 times already. If you get a chairlift, you want it to work. I'm gonna call that sales guy back and tell him to come and he has to do something.
This sounds very out-of-the-ordinary, and we would like to help work with your dealer to ensure your stairlift is working normally and giving your wife a smooth, quiet ride from start to finish. We will reach out to you shortly.

The sales rep was very professional and responsive. So far, we've been happy with the Bruno. The compactness is okay. We have two, upper and lower, and the lower one comes down on the wood floor so it has that extra stuff on it. Because of that, they had to put it a little bit further away from the wall. My husband is 6 feet, and it's a little bit close for him.

I got a straight stairlift from Bruno and I wish it’s a little bit more compact. It's wider than I thought when it's folded up. When my mom sits on the stairlift, I gotta jiggle to make sure it's in the right position. So, it’s a little sensitive with the sensors. She’s scared of the stairlift. It’s not what she's used to. When I'm strapping her, she's got a death grip on those handles. It probably would be good if there's some type of harness, like a three-point belt, to maybe make them feel more secure. The arms could be slightly longer. The actual footage should be small because if she ever has to come downstairs with an ambulance or one of those chairs, it takes a lot of the space in the stairwell. But that could be just the way it is.

The guy that presented the brochure was outstanding, and told me what would happen and how long it would take. Because they had to do it custom for my particular situation. My house is unique. The installers were done in less than a day. They did a wonderful job, were neat, clean, and courteous. The only thing is, on a bit of a negative, the Bruno stairlift is close quarters on my knees after you make the left turn when you go up the stairs. Sometimes, my knee touches if I'm not careful. Also, I thought I just pressed the button and it worked. My wife also has a bad back so when I send the chair up for her, it wouldn't move more than three feet before it quit. But I didn't know I had to point the remote at the little black sensor on the wall. Now I do that and it's fine. It's a great quality product. It's good-looking, comfortable, and it works well.

I had a Bruno stairlift for 16 years, and it was fine. I just got a new one. I like them. The rep I just dealt with was professional. I went back and forth between the salesperson and the technician who installed it, so I wasn't sure which person I was gonna talk to the next time I talk to them. The tech was very amiable. We had a problem originally, and he came back and fixed it. So, I'm completely happy with it now. I got the straight indoor stairlift. I have a wide stairwell so it leaves plenty of room for people to go up and down.
I preferred some of the features on the old one as opposed to the new one. The new one is the Elan. The older model had a padded armrest, and the new one doesn't. On the new one, the arms are bowed out farther, which wasn't necessary. Also, I don't care for the new up and down switch on the arm. It looks like a bird's tail fin sticking out there. It looks like it would be easy for someone to catch and break off. The old rocker switch was just fine. I enjoyed that one.
I would recommend Bruno to a friend because the quality is high. However, they have a bad design in the rail because when it was first installed and went up and down, you expect it to be smooth and quiet and it sounded like someone banging on a tin can with a metal spoon. It rattled all the way up and down. It was driving me nuts. I talked to the installer, and he said, "Well, they have a crimping tool to address that." It was 30 days out on order, but he did get it within two weeks of his original installation. He brought it and worked on it with that tool and it quieted it. If it was designed correctly, it wouldn't make that noise the first time that they went up and down. So, I was kind of disappointed in that but it's working okay and it's quiet now, so the problem was solved.

Being a veteran, my husband was supposed to have a tax credit, but he didn't get it. The doctor put the prescription in the order too, but Bruno didn't honor it. The guy worked here for four hours. It's fine except when you get up where he joined the two metals together, it makes a bang but it shouldn't bang and click and clunk like that. Something is not right where it was joined together. A week and a half is all we had used the stairlift. But it's a nice product when you got somebody crippled. I would recommend it to anybody.

I saw Bruno in a magazine and there was a coupon for $275 off. I called them and they came out to give an estimate and a price. They came back about a week later and it didn't take them long to put the stairlift in. I have problems with walking and I fall a lot, so my husband was concerned that I'd fall down the steps. He was after me to get a stairlift for a long time and I finally agreed. I love the stairlift and I use it as a dumbwaiter to take clothes down the basement or anything heavy.
Bruno had a decent price for what you get. When the tech was here, he greased the stairlift. He gave me the tube of grease and told me to grease it every six months or at least every year. He also told me how to clean the track. My husband and I also bought a Bruno stairlift for our daughter. She has myasthenia gravis so it's hard for her to get up the steps. I told my daughter to make sure to ask for the rest of the tube of grease. She said she did but the guy that put in her stairlift said he would come back and grease it. That's gonna be another service call because that's about an hour away from where she lives.

When the stairflift is at the bottom, my wife thought it swung out also, like it does when it's at the top. It would be nice if it did that at the bottom, too. Other than that, it's fine. It's not bulky, but it's something getting used to. Because I don't use it when I go down the stairs, it's right there, so I just go sideways a bit. Also, my wife uses it, so she likes it.

They were real nice and showed me how to run it. The stairlift is working good. It's real simple to use. The door has to be shut before it works and there's a button to press it down and up. We were not present when they did the installation but the sales team and the installation team did a great job of accessing the house in doing the installation. I'm extremely happy with the entire process. The stairlift is great. It's exactly what was advertised that matches well with our décor. It runs well up and down. Their pricing was firm, so I was not able to negotiate a different price with them, which you always like to be able to negotiate the price down. But it was fair, and I understood. It was very clear in terms of how they were pricing things out. Unfortunately, I had to have a slightly more expensive option in terms of the length of the chair rail.

They were able to instruct me on how to do the necessary steps to get it to work again.

We want to stay in this home that we've lived in for 55 years but it has a fairly steep set of stairs to get from our first floor to our bedrooms up on the second floor. Rather than be talked into moving out of this house, we decided having a stairlift was a step that we would take to make it easier to live here. I have a friend of our daughter-in-law who has a Bruno and spoke highly of it. The representatives that they have in Duncannon was delightful to talk to on the phone. They were what tipped the scales for us. They came to our house and explained in great detail the quality of Bruno's product as well as how much we would enjoy it. We knew they were local and their son was going to be the installer. We connected with them.
We're enjoying our stairlift very much. We've only had it a couple of months, but we're totally satisfied. We use it not only to transport ourselves up and downstairs but to transport our laundry and food snacks. If I had any concerns, I would call the Jenkins. They were the representatives for Bruno and they were readily available and easy to talk to.

The Bruno stairlift was the most expensive. We got the curved stairlift because we didn't want to look at the chair at the bottom of the steps all the time if we drove up and our door was open. The chair itself is very neutral and goes with our decor a little better. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and the installation went very well. We called the techs back because we had them change it from multi to single user so that it wouldn't beep at the top of the stairs. My husband power swivels it at the top and we leave it in that position so he can get into it in the morning.
There was a little learning curve in using the Bruno but now my husband is using it 100% every day which is great. We had to get some touch-up paint from Bruno because the rail has some rub on it and had the paint rubbed off. Another thing was that the two receivers are black and kind of unsightly. We didn't really expect that they would be so visible. But we can live with it.
Also, we were hoping the cords would be a little more hidden. The one up at the top is behind our bedroom door, so that's fine. The one down in the living room is very visible. But it is what it is. The stairlift itself is quite a statement. Other than that, I rode the stairlift and it was very smooth. Bruno did a fine job working with the provider, 101 Mobility.

It took the tech two and a half hours to install. I did the manual. They wanted $1,100 just for the push button so I went, “No. Give me the manual one. I’ll just put it up.” Other than that, the quality of the stairlift is good. It's excellent for my wife.

I called Bruno and gave the rep some information about what I wanted. Within half an hour, this guy from Independence called me, who was right here. I live in West Salem. Independence is less than a half hour away. And he said, “Yeah, Bruno, we are the installer. If you wanted me to, I could come over this morning and figure out and give you an estimate.” I said, “Sure. Come on over.” I knew right away this is who I wanted. He was so straightforward. It was a deal, and it’s battery operated. It has a little trickle charger. I didn't have to do anything with my electricity. I had three stairlifts put in, and he said, “And we’d probably haven't done in half a day or at least within the day, definitely.” And he showed me everything and there was only one permit charge, not for each stair lift. That was it. And I said I’d go with it.
It wasn't even two weeks, they were here and put the stairlifts in less than half a day, did a wonderful job, and showed me exactly how to operate them. One didn't work quite right and the guy came out and fixed it. They forgot to change the speed on it. But they were fabulous. I love them. I should have done it a long time ago. It's a very serviceable thing. I love the way it folds up. It's grand. I use my home now. I went up and down the stairs before, but my knees were killing me. Now, I don't even think about when I want to go downstairs and do something. And it gives me a better access to my patio and the outdoors below. It has impacted my life favorably. One of my neighbors is having one in the coast and one up at their house put in, and I told him, “You gotta contact Bruno. Don't you dare go with Acorn." He's in the process of talking to Bruno. And my other friends I've showed it to were all very impressed.

I chose Bruno because of several reasons. The seat looked more comfortable than their competition. But mainly, because it had a capacity of 100 pounds more than anybody else. And I liked the engineering. The installer was very knowledgeable and took his time. I had to limit my trips downstairs to one a day at the most. Now, I'm up and down that thing all the time because downstairs is where my playroom is.

The sales team is extremely knowledgeable. The rep knew exactly what we were looking for. It's a shame those curved ones are so expensive, though. But for the two straight ones, we paid $6,600 and another company wanted $9,000 for the same thing. The stairlift is extremely quiet going up and down and I like that. Also, it’s easy to operate. My wife doesn't have any problems with it. She runs up and down the stairs by herself pretty much now. But the chair may be a little more padded. Also, we had one bolt that came out of place. I got it back in and put it in all together again but I couldn’t understand how it fell out. But it’s not a big deal and it wasn’t anything that affected the operation. We’re extremely happy with the product.

The rep came out and looked at the two options, either taking it up the left side, going up to the top and curving it back so that I could transfer off, or put it up the right side and run it straight out where I could transfer off to keep it away from the top of the stairs. The previous lift that I had just went to the very top. I would pivot around to stand up and I always had the feeling that I might tumble down the stairs. The rep suggested that it was better on the right-hand side. When you turned around to the left, there was a little hallway that went out into the room over the garage. It was a little congested there to try and have the lift and my scooter there at the same time.
They did a great job during the installation. They showed me that you can turn off the lift underneath if you want to work on it. I like that it charges at the top and at the bottom, but it doesn't charge in-between. The last one, it had to go down at the bottom to be charging. That position kind of obstructed the stairway. When they got the Bruno stairlift installed, it was too high for me to transfer out of my chair so they took it out and reinstalled it all over again so it was closer to the ground. I would recommend the 101 Mobility people. They made everything right and weren't standing around with their hands out for the rest of the money until everything was perfect. They had had trouble with the remote control though. It wouldn't get it up to the top of the lift. The remote control was not quite powerful enough. They had to put a booster on it because I went to run it up the day after I got it and it only went up about halfway. I wish that somebody would get the remote controls fixed.

This chair is for my MIL to get up and down stairs since moving in with us 2 wks ago. The chair was installed at the end of December 2021. The electric extension arm was replaced 4 days ago due to slamming to ground or sticking and not working. Since that repair, the battery won't stay charged. On the battery, the red light is on as it should be. Sometimes the green light is on, until she tries to use the chair. Then the yellow light flashes and all lights go off except the red light. The chair may briefly start, then it just stops. Codes occasionally flash on the chair, however half of them are not even found in the owner's manual so I have no idea what they mean. They flash briefly, then it's just blank. The green light on the back of the chair is on the entire time. We love the chair and thought it would be perfect to keep her independence and do it safely, but so far it's not been worth the money spent and she's still having to crawl up the stairs on her knees.

I called Bruno and asked for them to come for an estimate. The rep asked a bit about what we had, because there's a bigger price differential if you have curved stairs versus not. And we don't have curved, so that wasn't an issue. He came and showed me their product, and gave me an estimate. He showed us the literature and talked about it. I asked him some questions about the battery, and how the stairlift works. He told us that he wouldn't call us back, that he is not a high-pressure salesperson, that if we chose to go with it, he would wait for our call. We talked it over. In a day or two later, we decided to go ahead with it. He gave us an estimate, and that estimate was what it was. So, it was good.
The tech did well. But I thought he would show us how to use the stairlift, like have my mother sit on it. My mom said he offered, but she declined. The tech only offered after I asked him to show how it works. He showed me without her in it. So, we worked through it afterwards and everything went well. The only issue we are having and we couldn't figure it out is why every once in a while, when my mother starts to go up the steps, the stairlift seems sluggish. She puts the arms down, sits in it, presses the lever but it doesn't go. So she jiggles the arms and tries it again, then it goes. If it gets to be a big of a hassle, I might call Bruno to ask them to come and see why. Also, my mom is short. The tech said the stairlift is at the standard level that he hasn't had anyone needed and they adjusted it differently. I thought we would need to call him back to have him lower it. But my mom just realized she wasn't sitting far enough back into the seat. Once she did that, it worked out well.

So, I was doing multiple trips a day and killing myself. So, this stairlift has made life much easier.
The only thing that annoys me is usually I have something in my hand from my phone to some papers I gotta bring up and it's very hard to get the seatbelts around. As soon as you start to pull the seat belt, it locks up and you've got to juggle whatever you're holding and pull that seatbelt out really far, so that you can get around and be able to use that thing. You got no place to balance or put anything, and it takes multiple attempts to get the seatbelt on. I find that very annoying. Other than that, the ride is smooth and very comfortable. It took a couple of weeks more before they actually came and installed the product. They said that it was all because of the shipping issues going on in the country.
The chair escalator is easy to use. My mom is impaired with her right hand, but we got the controls on the left side. So she's able to independently use it. The quality is good. When the technician was fitting it, I saw that he had some trouble installing some plastic panels after rerouting the wiring to the left side. Under the handle, there is a plastic panel that has to be closed. It's kind of a closed out cover, after you tuck in all the wires and when you bring the control to the left hand side. So I'm keeping an eye on it. But so far, the cover is intact. I would appreciate it if he would have done a little bit better wiring. There is a power supply, which is right now nailed onto the wall. There was nothing overwhelmingly different between Bruno and the third one but we didn't want to self-install and we also felt very confident in the product after the Bruno salesman who came out explained everything to us.
The installation went very nicely and smoothly. The installer knew exactly what to do. He had a trainee with him and he assisted. The guy that was installing knew what to say and how to get the stairlift in. They were here for three hours, and it's worked perfectly ever since. I’d definitely recommend Bruno because of my experience with it now.

The Bruno representatives were courteous, seemed to know exactly what they were doing, and worked well together. They worked hard and fast, and did a nice job. The stairlift is a straight shot up. At the bottom of the steps, there's a door that goes to the right, and they had to put a section of the rail so it would swing up. So when the stair is on a ridal position, the chair has to be up the rail a little ways so that section of the rail can fold up and doesn't block the doorway. So far, I'm happy with it. It seems to be solid and sturdy. I like the way it folds up out of the way for family members that don't need to use it. There's plenty of room to go up and down the steps when it's folded out of the way. It's not a hazard for others.

Bruno has really good reviews. There was another brand but there were issues about parts getting there on time and the difference between it being a US branded product versus an overseas product. There were also some of the concerns with customer service and not getting responses timely or at all. There was also a family friend who gave some insight. They worked for a lift company and knew of the Bruno brand. They said that that was definitely worth the cost in the sense that you get the customer service, the lifetime warranty, and that it's a good brand.
We had an incident with our installation where we had to get another part sent out. The day we got it installed, the seat was going over the gearbox that folds the rail, and somehow, it chewed it up and went over it to where the arm rail wouldn't fold up or down anymore, and the chair was getting stuck. The guys came out to look at it and ordered the parts. It took a couple of weeks, which wasn't bad because for our order, we waited a good couple of months. Now, it's been working fine since we got it replaced. They turned off the rail from folding then made the chair usable as if it was a straight rail. That had an issue where the guy stopped working then a guy came out. The customer service has been great. They responded.
Other than the waiting for the original products to be delivered and installed then the ordering of this part, we haven't had any other issue. We've been nothing but pleased. We have three kids, ages 3 to 18, and they're all using it. It's kind of the attraction and it's holding up well. The cost with Bruno was higher but we knew we were going to need to invest. We needed to buy three sets 'cause that's how many stairs there were, and the Bruno stairlifts are decently quick. It's a long set of stairs and it goes through it in a minute or less.

I like that it's simple. It's easy to twist the chair, push the little lever down and turn the chair. I like the fact that we have the remotes, although I've never used them yet. Hopefully, my wife will be able to handle it without the remotes. But if need be, I have the remote control, I can take her up. I like the seatbelts. Also, I'm not happy with the transition joint. It’s not a smooth ride over it. But that was the way it was. It’s overpriced compared to other things out there.
Bruno charges for training, which is supposed to be my training. But it must be their training because I didn’t get any training to speak of. They started to show me how to use the stairlift, but I had to discover that there were hand controls on the device itself. They showed me the remotes. So, I try to go up and down and hold the remote in one hand, and hang on to the chair on the other.
Bruno does not charge for training. Our dealers usually reinforce how to use the stairlift, including pushing the armrest control to go up/down and swiveling the seat to exit, before leaving the home. Our standard seats are generously sized, but we do have options for an extra-large seat and footrest. Glad to hear you were able to switch to the proper size for your unique needs. We will reach out to you and work with your local dealer to ensure you completely understand how to safely operate your lift. Thank you.

I'm gonna be using them to get some driving equipment put in, being an amputee, so I look forward to working with them.

We had a lift put in the van to put the scooter on, and that was a Bruno. The installation went great. The installers were really good to work with. After they got it installed, they showed us all about it and what to do to maintain it. The quality is good.

The sales rep came in and gave me the options of which ones are available. We’re a big family and a little heavyset, so we chose the 400 pound one. We got the straight one. Two gentlemen showed up and they had stairlift installed in a matter of a couple hours. They explained everything to us, how it works and went over all details once it was installed then I got on there, tried it out, and it worked fine. Once we fold it up, it’s compact enough. However, my father told me yesterday that the stairlift was doing something funny. He said it was getting a knocking noise when it was halfway up, but we ran through it a couple of times and it didn’t do it while I was listening. I figured I would wait and see if it happens more often and give Bruno a call.

Bruno had the best reputation and I liked that their stairlifts are made in America. I like Wisconsin. They seem to have a great deal of pride in what they do. The sales visit was very good and I was very pleased with the company, EZ Able. They answered any question. During the installation, the guy was great. The stairlift is making a little bit of a sound though and I need to call them. The stairlift has made all the difference in the world in our life. We were going to have to sell our house. We live on the lake and my husband loves it, and he didn't want to leave. This has made him be able to stay and enjoy it. We've had three other couples that are going to have to get chairlifts, and we have convinced them to do this.

A number of the disc in my spine and my knees are deteriorating and the Bruno stairlift made things a lot easier. My wife was never gonna use it but her knee was bothering her and she ended up using it too. It was really easy to operate. I get up the steps and I'm not ready to pass out. I feel safe when I use it. Just for instance, when I came to the hospital last time, I needed to come by ambulance. An ambulance came and I had an infection set in to my body. I couldn't stand up and the people would have to take me up in a chair. Every little movement of my spine hurt tremendously. They just wheeled me to the stairlift and was able to put me on there. Instead of banging the steps with the ambulance chair where I would have been in such excruciating pain, I was able to traverse the steps rather easily with the stairlift and then they were able to put me onto a stretcher and take me out. It was a good experience overall.

The salesperson was professional and gave us options on two different kinds of stairlifts. We went with the single rail stairlift and it fits well in the stairwell. But I still haven't figured out how to install the banister on the other side. The installation went fairly smoothly as far as putting the parts in. They had some difficulty in getting the unit itself to operate properly. But they did get it working within the prearranged install time. So they didn't have to come back. They finished it off that day. My wife uses the stairlift and she likes it. It’s taken away the stress from her going up and down the stairs. In fact, it's opened up the downstairs to her.

The guy who installed the stairlift was good and sociable. He did his job. I could get out of the house once I had the stairlift. So, I like it a lot. The only thing I don’t like is the way it ran electric wire on top of it. I worry about shoveling the snow. Other than that, I'm satisfied.

Everybody said Bruno was the best and I looked for a local dealer to see if it was even available on the West Coast and made that choice. The sales rep was fabulous. He said he was coming at 11:00 and was here 2 minutes before. He answered every question and gave us a lot of information. I can't say a single thing that I wasn't impressed with, and I'm a picky broad. We weren't sure about the product, but we were certainly impressed with the representation.
We have one straight and one curved stairlift and they're fabulous. We have very narrow stairwells, and the team worked their hardest to make sure they would not only fit, but would be passed by the inspectors. We could not be happier. The quality is top of the line. Every day that I ride them, I tell myself we chose the right company and the right product. The stairlifts are easy to use and very intuitive. We chose to have the lever rather than the push button because we both have arthritis in our hands. We're very impressed that it has remote controls at both the top and bottom of each stairwell. I was stuck on one floor for the last year and a half, and now I have all three floors. I'm happy camper.

The installation was great. The guys came in and worked well. They were really good. I was very impressed. The chairlift has fantastic quality. My mom is using it right now, and it's been very nice. We wouldn't be able to have her here without it.

The stairlift is good for me ‘cause I don’t have to climb them steps. However, right now, it moves a little slow then after a minute, it goes right on up. Outside of that, it is excellent.

The installer was very kind and considerate. My son-in-law had to do some electrical work for hooking it up but everything went great. I am very glad we put it in. I like to walk the stairs when I can but when I'm in a lot of pain, the stairlift is a given treasure. I would not be able to go up and down as much as I can with the stairway, pain-wise. I've gotten now where it's part of what I do. A lot of times, I don't use it but when I do, I'm very satisfied.

Bruno came quickly and their rep was really knowledgeable. The estimation went well and they were great to work with. My mom has a curved staircase and they put a curved stairlift in. Everything was done in one day including the inspection. That process went really well. However, it's more intrusive than she thought it was going to be. On the other hand, it's less intrusive than I thought it was going to be.
On the top step, as you come around the curve before it moves up onto the landing, it does a little funny tilt before it goes up and that's a little freaky feeling. When the techs installed it, they said there was nothing they could do about that. Other than that, I feel secure in the stairlift and going down is very smooth. I don't feel like my mom is going to fall off of it. She doesn't have a shower on the main floor of her home, so she has to climb the stairs. The stairlift is making it so that she can continue living in her home versus moving to assisted living.

Our friend recommended Bruno and gave me the telephone number. There was only one mix-up in anything and that was a lady had called me and told me they would be here at 9:30 in the morning but they did not come. At around 10:30, I called and they said we were not scheduled till 12:30. But the salesman was fantastic and during the installation of my stairlift, the men were outstanding. They were very polite and worked me through it. The stairlift is excellent and I am very pleased.

The install was fine. They showed us how to use it. The stairlift worked fine when I test drove it but when I was trying to use it after my father got it, it wouldn't work. It kept beeping and wouldn't go down. I don't know why it did that. Also, it is pretty wide for our staircase which is narrow so there's not really much space.

I have a Curb-Sider from Bruno and this is my second one. The other one was older while this one is updated and takes up less room inside my van. During my purchase, the salesperson at the DME Services store wasn't very knowledgeable. He was saying that they had four connections but I knew that there was a bar underneath and it has a U shape because they were just updating mine and I knew how it hooked it up. It was a little bit different from the one that I had before and it makes it a little bit more difficult for me now. I used to hook it up sitting on the curb and on the one closest to me on that side. And now, I have to do it on the other side, so I can't sit. I have a hard time looking down because then I get vertigo. So, I'm still struggling with it.
I tried it the installer’s way then I tried it my way. And my way getting it in was fine. But getting it out, I had a little bit difficulty trying to do my way. So I went back to the way the installer said and it was fine. It's just going to be harder for me to unhook it off and on because I have nowhere to sit to unhook it off and on. One of the things that I did on my old one was, I took a red marker tape that you use for scrapbooks so that it marked how far the bar went in. So, I knew when I put the thing in and that that was where I put the pin in so that it lined up correctly. And it makes it easier for me to know it was in the right place without doing it. So if there's a way to do that with this new one, that would be great. I just have to do it after the fact and I'm not sure if it's possible for Bruno to do that because I don't know if it would be different on different scooters. It would also be nice if they'd have a plug to charge the scooter in the back. Other than that, I love Bruno.

I like my Bruno chairlift and I like the bars and the thing to get in and out of the house. I don't use it a lot yet, but it's easy to use. I can go down in my family room, bedroom and porch. The experience I had, which didn't amount to a hill of beans, was good.

We went through 101 Mobility to get a stairlift installed and they said that they typically get better results with Bruno. Also, we went to their showroom and Bruno had more features than some of the other models. The installation was great. The installers showed up on time and they worked quickly and efficiently. They didn't take more time than they told us they would take and on the last day, they made sure everything worked. They explained everything and we were able to test everything.
My mother-in-law feels pretty comfortable with the stairlift and it's pretty safe. She had an incident a week or two after it had been installed, where she got to the top of the stairs and it wouldn't swivel. She had to back it down a couple of stairs and then go back up and then it would swivel. We contacted 101 Mobility. They asked to test things and to contact them if we had more issues but we've had no issues since then. The only thing that we'd like improved is if they could make the footrest slightly larger.

The quality of the stairlift has been good so far. The only thing is it's a little bit difficult going up for people who are not using the stairlift. If you're carrying packages and stuff like that, it's cumbersome.
