The chair broke on me when I was in the middle. I called them. And the rep said that they’d call me back. Long story short, I ended up having somebody help me get back upstairs. When I called back, she said she would try to find somebody, but it would have to wait until Tuesday ‘cause Monday was a holiday. I said, “I need somebody to get this fixed now.”

My husband was in the hospital and we were thinking before he came out of the hospital to get him a chairlift. This way, he's able to go downstairs better because it's gonna take time for him to get better. My son inquired where to buy it and somebody recommended Bruno. He made the appointment, and they came over. The gentleman that came over was very nice and we ordered the chair right away, which was delivered just a few days after. So that was good.

I'm 88 years old. I'm at the age where I don't want to fall. So, I had the VA investigate it. They said that I qualify. So, they installed the Bruno stairlift. It helps me go down the basement. The installation went very smoothly. I stayed out of their way. Within a couple hours, it was installed. From the time the installer got here to the time he left, it was about two and a half hours. The walk through took about 10 minutes and it was very simple.

The Bruno stairlift fits very well. It's something I need and it’s great. It has helped me tremendously.. It has a very good quality. I was having trouble going up and down the steps. I talked to my doctor about it. And he felt that the stairlift would help me as it was getting very, very hard for me to carry any groceries up.

The salesperson was amazing. There was no pressure. He was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. When I asked about his expertise, not just because he was trying to sell me a product, which one was better than the other, he was honest with me. I just wanted to know what other feedback was. He indicated that there's less defects associated with Bruno. I've got a lot on my plate and I don't need something to go wrong.

I called Bruno up and asked them to come out and install a stairlift. They had it in stock. They were out here a day later and the installation went smoothly. It's for my wife and it helped. She can get upstairs now to her craft room. It works great. I can walk up and down the stairs. I have to fold up the chair wherever it is to get past it, but that's easy to do. It's a good stairlift. In fact, we've been thinking about putting in the second one to go downstairs.

A friend of ours recommended the company. When the fellow came out, the unit that he recommended was the Bruno. The installer did a very nice job. They finished it in a day. My wife, who could not go up and down the steps, is now able to go to the cellar and I am too. It seems to be good as far as I can tell.

The technician was very sufficient. He acted like he knew what he was doing. My great grandkids think the stairlift is a real ride and I let them do one trip only, just to let them go upstairs and back down, and that was it. It is not a play toy. I’m very satisfied with the Bruno stairlift.

My mother is moving in with us and she will be living upstairs, but she can't get up and down the stairs. Cost played a large role in our choice to get Bruno. The installation went great. It took the installer all in total, about three hours. We've run the stairlift a couple of times and it seems great.

The Bruno stairlift is perfect. It's a lifesaver. I'm no longer a prisoner in the upstairs part of my home. I couldn't get downstairs and now, I can move around with ease through the house and it's wonderful.

Bruno stairlift is great. The only thing negative would be they only brought two stairlifts. It's supposed to be three, with one going down the basement. I have to get down there to flip and reset breakers, and it's the same length of steps as the one upstairs going to the second floor. Getting around with the stairlifts is great. I use it going into the garage a lot. The experience with them is fine. It’s what I need to get around my house.

We were looking for stairlifts. We talked with different companies and decided that we were going with the one out of Laconia and they had Bruno. I'm thrilled with the stairlift. It’s made my life a whole lot easier 'cause I can go up and down the stairs whenever I want to now. Before, I had to have somebody with me and it was difficult. The stairlift is good, but I have a complaint that it's very, very noisy.

Bruno installed the stairlift and it works wonderfully. It has helped a lot. It's sturdy and it fits. It was customized to our house and it works very well. It’s indoors and has a ramp outside. It was very good service. The installer was a very nice guy and if I need anything else, I'd be happy to have him back.

I got the stairlift for my mom and it’s been working out great. The salesman was very pleasant and really easy to work with and he answered all my questions. The installation was great. And the quality is good, although I hear the clicking as it goes over the screws.

Overall, I had a good experience with Bruno. The quality of their stairlift is also good. Personally, it matters that their stairlifts are made in the US. I initially considered other brands but chose to go with Bruno because they had better online reviews.

I bought a used Bruno stair lift before I bought this last one. I installed it myself and hit the circuit board. With that, the stair lift went out, so I got another from Bruno. The installation by their team took a while. During the installation, they put some sort of support on it, and it was not working out. So I took a video of what it’s doing, and sent it to Bruno. They had to come back and redo it, and it took them a few times to get it right.

I was going through another rep, and I found out they were crooked and doing things underhanded. I didn't do well with it. I talked to another person, and they recommended Bruno. So I called the representative from Bruno and basically told him, “Look. This is what I got. I'm a pilot. I'm out of town. I know what I want. I just need someone to come out here and measure it, take a look at it.”

My husband got Parkinson’s along with the hip surgery. We went over to our neighbor who had the Acorn and tried that just to see what they were all about. But we decided to get Bruno because they seem to have the same quality and the VA was involved.

It's been good. It was for my husband, and it's just made it very easy for him to go up and down the stairs and not worry about losing his balance. The VA took care 100% of it.

I first heard about Bruno through the VA. Their customer service is very good. He can now get out of his basement apartment.

My husband cannot walk up a flight of stairs without being out of breath and uncomfortable for about 15 minutes. We chose to put in the stairlift as opposed to moving and it’s really good for my husband. It helps him a lot. It’s manufactured in the US too, which is extremely important. I'd recommend Bruno. They also have the best warranty and they’ve got a 5-star reputation.

We went to a home show and saw Bruno, and we went with them. My husband has used the stairlift a couple of time and he is happy with it. It is very good.

The VA purchased a stair lift from Bruno Independent Living Aids for my father-in-law. Both technicians who came for the installation were absolutely fantastic. Mike, the older gentleman, did the initial measurements, and explained to me exactly what he was doing from start to finish. He was the most thorough and super informative.

The Bruno stair lift installed in our house is great. My wife uses it. However, I haven’t received the price as of yet and this will be covered through a senior citizens’ organization.

Bruno Stairlift was highly recommended to me. We had it installed on our straight stairs upstairs and downstairs. It’s fine and we were very satisfied with it.

We didn’t specifically pick Bruno. The stairlift came through the VA. The installers knew what they were doing, but it took some time.

We needed a stairlift because my husband is in a wheelchair, and the VA took care of everything. The representative who came to the house for the sales visit was nice. The installation was scheduled a week and a half after the visit, and it was installed within just a couple of hours. And everything went smoothly during the installation. I am 91 years old and one of our difficulties at this age is bringing the groceries in the house. We had to bring the groceries in the front door, put them on the floor, walk up the steps, take a couple of bags with us, go back down and get some more. The VA said I should have the stair lift. They chose from the three bids, and they are the ones that got in touch with these people. I got to choose only the electrician, and I had to call one. An electrician came out here, worked on the electrical wiring, and gave me a bill for it. Bruno Independent Living Aids continued the work from there, and did a great job installing the stair lift. The stair lift is smooth, quiet, and comfortable. It has excellent quality, and helps us in a lot more ways than one. I can get in the chair, my wife can hand me the bags, and we can take them to the upper level. It helps tremendously.

The Bruno stair lift helps my wife get up and down the stairs. It covers 8 steps of the stairs. I have been in the construction business my whole life, and I can say that the stair lift looks good to me. When we needed their help, they were always there.

I love Bruno. The technicians were great. The first one came and did most of the work. Then the second one was done with his job, and he came and helped finish it up. We had two stairlifts put in, one upstairs and one down. And one of them, when it would be at the top of my stairs, it was beeping. So, he had to come and replace them. And he did. 

The Bruno stairlift is my husband’s and he’s loving it. We had it installed on the stairway which is central in the house off the living room to the basement. I think it’s great and meets his needs. This would help our plans to stay in our home long term for sure.

I enjoy my Bruno Stairlift very much. It’s very durable. I looked at two or three other brands but didn't go any further than that. I didn’t have much choice about the price so I just went ahead with Bruno and did it.

Someone from Bruno did the demonstration, was patient and explained everything in detail. His conduct was wonderful. My father actually got on the stairlift, went up the stairs, and came back down the stairs. Everybody's excited about that because it gives him his own independent part. Everyone else was helping him up the stairs–my sister, my mom, and me. It was taxing. Now instead of us helping him upstairs to go to the bathroom and having to use the commode downstairs, he can go upstairs to the bathroom himself, which is fantastic.

The Bruno sales rep was well informed. the stairlift fits into my stairwell nicely. I'm lucky that it wasn't a curved stairwell. We would've probably ran into problems and more money. Having the stairlift is convenient. It comes in handy. It makes it a lot easier on me. I use it almost every day ‘cause I have to go out and wash clothes and put clothes in the dryer.

Bruno's representatives were very good. We have a few minor issues with the stairlift but it's nothing major. My mother in law has a real problem with her one arm. So occasionally, she'll hit the button improperly, and sometimes it pops off. So, that's a little inconvenient for us. Also, it doesn't always swing out when she swings it out and swings it back. Then when she gets into the chair, she has to jiggle it to catch so that it goes up and down properly. It's not any issue with Bruno itself. It's just the model of the chair, and it's something we can live with. It's helped tremendously. My mother-in-law wouldn't be able to get up into the kitchen without it.

My mom got sick and she could not climb stairs, so we ordered Bruno in 2004. This year, the old Bruno would not work anymore and they could not find parts. So, I got another Bruno because I liked it a lot. The installation was wonderful They came and they put it in in an hour and a half, and I was very happy.

The other company did not follow up so I went with Bruno. They're good quality. I like that you can haul everything from the basement upstairs on your chairlift and then pull it down with the remote. The quality is great. I love it. Their customer service is great all the way around. Overall, they were excellent.

My daughter was here and she called somebody from Alabama that she knows who installs them and they said that Bruno was one of the highest ones they install. The reps came and looked at the situation and took a few measurements. I have an extremely wide staircase in my home, and so there’s plenty of room for people to go up and down. The chairlift is up in the start position and down in the start position, and its performance is very good. Having it helped quite a bit because I was having trouble walking up and down the stairs. With the product, I just hop on the chairlift and ride up and back down.

Bruno is a very good company. When their representatives came to do the estimate, they were complete gentlemen. They weren’t sloppy but were well‑dressed, clean‑cut, and explained everything they were going to do. It just felt right.

I’m scared that when we get to the top and turn to get off, we might lose our balance. So, we’re going to put a bar up there to hold onto as we get off the chair and stand up. We’ll install that ourselves. Other than that, we have no problem with the stairlift. Everything looks fine and we really enjoy it.

The stairlift is in the way when I’m trying to get up and down the stairs. They told me it wouldn’t be, but it is. When I talked to them before they put it in, they said it wasn’t going to be like that.

The stairlift has been very helpful and gives her dignity, but we have a few issues that keep her from being completely independent with it. She needs a button on the handles to go up and down instead of that little side button. It keeps falling off when she hits it wrong, so I ended up Velcroing one of the remotes to the handle.

The Bruno sales person came out and did about a 10 to 15 minute presentation explaining the stairlift to me. They made me real informed about it. When it was installed inside the house, it took about two to three hours to complete. It goes straight up and down and beeps when it gets to the top and the bottom.

I had my sister move in with us and we had some stairs to get to her room. So we had to install a stairlift. We searched around and looked at different models and makes and Bruno made the most sense for what I heard as far as reliability and the ability to get repairs if needed.

The stairlift is for older people in the church who would prefer using it rather than navigating the stairs. The cost was competitive, and it performs as expected. We’re satisfied with it.

The chair is lovely and does the job. I’m using it for all kinds of things, like sending stuff upstairs and downstairs. I’m very happy with the product so far. The technicians were okay, and when I called Bruno direct in Wisconsin, they were very nice.

I have been trying five years to get this thing. With the stairlift I can breathe again when I get to the top. Before, I had to sit down. And not only that, I had to run to the bathroom as soon as I got to the top. So, having it affected me quite a bit. The installer was nice and he worked hard. He did not explain too much because he was busy, but when he got through, he told me a few things. The only problem I have is that I have narrow stairs, and the rest of the people in the house has to go around it. It is hard to squeeze by, and it is less than half of the distance on the stairlift. Still, overall, Bruno’s service was good.

I use the stairlift quite often, and it works well. There are times when I can’t walk at all because of lower back pain. The bottom feels a little loose, but it still gets past that. The screws might be loose.

The Bruno presentation went well. They didn’t push anything on me and were very professional. The stairlift has been helpful. It’s heaven‑sent. It’s first‑class quality and really nice. We installed one curved and one straight.

Bruno is in Sioux Falls, so they are close to us. We needed the stairlift, and it has been working great. Tony, the guy who installed it did a very good job. He also showed me how I could get in touch with him if I have any trouble.

The stairlift has been very good for my wife. She weighs 300 pounds, and I wanted to be sure it was strong enough to hold her. So far, she likes it.

The VA provided the Bruno stairlift for me. I didn’t have to do any research or figure anything out. They just sent it over and had it installed. It’s a good product and it’s rated at 500 pounds. It’s doing amazing for me.

It works fine and has helped a lot, but there’s a small noise as we go past the middle where it’s connected. We didn’t have it in the beginning, but after a couple of days, it started making a disturbing noise when we crossed the middle of the rail, halfway up or halfway down the stairs. We have not contacted Bruno about it yet.

We live below street level. There are at least nine steps going up to the street level. And to go out the back way, there are even more steps. We have a carport in the backyard. Before having the Bruno Stairlifts, I wasn't able to get out for doctor's appointments. It was recommended by the rehabilitation company. It’s very comfortable and I'm very thankful for it. It's of good quality. We've only had it here for a week, and hopefully, the ones that were outside won't be damaged from cold weather or snow.

The Bruno Stairlift was primarily purchased for my wife and it had nothing but a positive effect on her life. I use it occasionally, but she uses it daily.

I was disappointed with the Bruno representative. They were very good when they first got here, but they led me to believe the stairlift would be installed within about two months of their first visit. Then a month after taking an $8,000 deposit from me, they called and said they were only just starting the process. It would take another three months from that point.

What I did was ask my neighbors. Some told me which brands not to get, and Bruno wasn’t among them. Other than that, I called Lang Medical. I think Lang has a very good reputation, and I went with what they carry. Bruno was their recommendation and what they installed.

The stairlift has made a world of difference, because getting up the steps would have been almost impossible for me. I would’ve had to stay downstairs most of the time. It’s great.

I did a Google search on stairlifts and found Lifeway Mobility, one of Bruno’s distributors in Chicago. When we visited them, Bruno was one of the brands they sold, and it was the one they had in the showroom to demonstrate. We thought it looked like a good solution.

My wife fell a couple of times on the steps, and I had a stroke, so they thought I needed a stairlift. We started researching, and I went through all the different stairlift companies I knew of.

We have nine steps getting up to the door, and my wife is physically impaired, so she needed a stairlift. We got Bruno because it seemed like a good company, it’s made in the USA, and the guys who installed it were good. The stairs were wide enough to accommodate it, so it’s not really in the way. Most importantly, my wife can get up the stairs now.

The Bruno stairlift is a very good quality. We purchased the stairlift that goes straight up and there are several attached in between each floor of the building. It has improved the lives of a lot of our residents and employees as well. We're able to get things up from one floor to the next without the strain of carrying. It has also assisted with our residents as well, especially with us having more elderly residents here. So the assistance of having that as a relief has helped them greatly. So far, everything has been well. There hasn't been anything unsafe and it hasn't had any breakdowns.

The VA was the one who chose what stairlift I should get because they pay for it, and they chose Bruno. But I am happy with what they picked. It looks like a quality product. But I am still trying to get used to it. And I’m having a little bit of problems when I go down to the basement trying to transfer from the stairlift into the wheelchair or some other kind of chair. We haven’t figured that out yet.

I purchased a Bruno chairlift through DME Elevators & Lifts, and the experience was excellent. After ordering it, the installation was completed in two days, and the installers did an excellent job.

The lift is something we needed. We got it more for the elderly that come and visit us, but we also use it on occasion because my husband has a bad knee and I have a bad back. At first, my dad kept giving me some literature he got from the AARP magazines. Another brand was strongly recommended to us. I looked online and found 101 Mobility. We talked to the salesperson who was very knowledgeable and honest, and he told us about Bruno, that it’s veteran-owned. My son is a veteran as well. That and all the information he gave us helped us make the right decision, and we went with Bruno. The quality is perfect, and the price is good and within our budget.

Everything is going well with Bruno. My mother uses it twice a week to go to physical therapy and it's worked every time. We haven't had any major issues. Lifeway Mobility who was the one who did the install. They even provided us with an extra electronic box to put the chraging device in and protect from the rain just in case it does get rained on. They were very quick about installing it. They said that it would take two weeks before they could get the installation in, but they did it within the next week.

So far, the stairlift has been good, and the quality seems fine. It wasn't our decision to choose Bruno. It was a bidding situation, and they were the low bidder. I did search online before considering them. As for the price, we thought it was more money.

Everything was channeled through the VA. We got three quotes, three different vendors, and all the all the decisions were channeled through the VA. The sales presentation was all good. The Bruno stairlift is working well, and so far, functionality and performance have been good. We did have a small issue where because the weight of the foot platform, it was catching a little bit on the carpet of one of the top stairs and then stopping the chair. It only happened a few times, and then we got it figured out to where it doesn't do that anymore and it seems to be working fine. It helps a lot because his room is on the second floor, and because of his limitations, it allows him to navigate the stairs in a safer, less painful manner.

I like the Bruno stairlift ‘cause the steps were killing me. I wish it was two inches closer to the wall but it’s fine, and I can live with that. I've had no problems with it. I can walk fine, walk a couple hours longer a day, and I got rid of my urinal in the living room. My insurance company chose Bruno. They were quick, courteous, and I had a great experience with them.

I'm very pleased with my stairlift from Bruno Independent Living Aids, and I absolutely recommend it. I feel safe using the chair lift. Their customer service was excellent. The chair lift costs $4,500 which is expensive for a retired social worker like me. However, it has had a 100% positive impact on my life. The only thing that is slightly problematic for me is the footrest where I put my feet on to get onto the stairlift. I’m a big woman, and I’m afraid that it will break. I know it’s me, not the stairlift. What I should be doing is turning it around so it faces the living room so I can get on it more easily.

I decided to purchase the chairlift because my husband was having equilibrium issues. Secondly, as far as why Bruno, I had done a little bit of research from a couple of companies and, quite frankly, Lifeway Mobility was the only one that responded and they had two brands. And because I had a 90-degree turn, they recommended the Bruno.

My husband has used the stairlift and it went great. We had to get one because he is getting older, and he cannot feel his feet sometimes to get him out of the way. So, we were worried about him being home alone with it. Installation went well, and the performance of the unit is good. Havin Bruno, hopefully, would mean that he won’t fall down the stairs.

It’s great to have a stairlift from Bruno. I’m very pleased we got it installed. Before, I was only going up the stairs about once a day, coming down in the morning and going up at night. I could manage it, but I didn’t feel entirely safe. Now, I can get as much exercise as I want during the day without worrying about safely getting up the stairs at the end of the day. It’s a very good thing. It looks much better than I had feared. It’s been a very positive experience.

The stairlift installed by Bruno is working well. It’s very safe and we haven’t had any issues with it.

Having the stairlift makes things easier. We have a rather steep staircase and if I ran up that quickly, I had problems. But I don’t have problems now so it let me get from one floor to the next quite easy. I appreciate that and I’m happy with the product. Jonathan, the salesman, was pleasant to deal with and the gentleman who installed it was nice and did an efficient job.

Bruno stairlift has made it much easier for me to go up and down. The stairlift helped me move up and down safely. The only issue is in the living room, the stairlift going upstairs. The technician explained that it’s really close to the wall. If they moved it closer, it might make it hard to grab the banister in an emergency. So they positioned it slightly away from the banister, and it’s working well for me.

Our stairlift is wonderful, and having it is better on my knees. It goes down to our game room downstairs and the laundry room. It has been working fine, and it makes life better. We bought it one day and they were here the next day, so it was fast. Customer service team was great, and during the sales process they were nice and courteous. In terms of price, they were very fair. We had another company and it was way out of sight. Bruno much better with the price.

It did a good deal on that because I can go up and down the cellar steps. Before, it took me five minutes to go up and down. I had to go down one step at a time. I had to come up one step at a time. Now I go down there, and I don't have to stay down there either. I could just put the load of clothes in the wash and come back up. I go up and down sometimes three or four times a day with it. This is a lot better than I thought I was gonna buy. That'd be perfect. I have no problem with it. It's good.

The stairlift is fine, but I don’t think I should have it because I’m pretty active. But my kids bought it for me. So, I have to look at it every day, and I don’t use it at all. I just have a big teddy bear that I strapped into the seat. Someday, I will use it, and I’ll be very grateful that I have it. But until then, it’s ugly in my living room, and I don’t like it. But the stairlift works fine. It’s a good product. But I have a banister, and I just use my banister.

I’ve had trouble going up and down the stairs. I saw Bruno from a local paper, and it happed that the people in our pharmacy, they recommended that company too. So, we chose to go with them. The sales rep I dealt with was excellent, and that’s what prompted us to stay with them. I have the standard product that they sell and it fits into the stairwell very well. You sit there, bush a button and up you go. It works well.

Our straight stairlift was put in mainly for my husband and it has been a tremendous help. Customer service and the technicians who came out to install it were all fine. I’ve already recommended Bruno.

I have a two-flight straight stairlift installed inside the house. I went with Bruno because it is local. On the day of the installation, they came in and did it in three hours. Overall, it is a good experience and the quality is good too.

My straight stairlift has helped me get up and down the stairs. The technician that installed it was a very nice and knowledgeable gentleman. However, the man that sold me the product told me one price and sent me a bill along with the tech that installed it at a different price. There was $50 difference in what he told me and what I ended up paying him, and I wasn’t happy about that. Bruno's price was very expensive. Other than that, the stairlift is working fine. I would recommend the stairlift, but not the dealer.

The Bruno stairlift is top-notch. I got it through the VA, and they did a good job from sales to installation. It goes upstairs where the shower is, and it is tremendous help.

The veterans had set us up with three companies, and we could choose the one we wanted. They all came out separately and assessed the situation. All of them sounded good except one, who is really closer to us in distance. But they didn’t seem as efficient and didn’t really explain all the benefits of a chairlift. And of course, we were shown pictures. My husband chose the one we got because it looked very nice and looked like part of the house, so we decided that Bruno was the one.

I looked at a few other companies that had stair lifts and called another place, and it cost more money. Bruno was a little cheaper, and they could do it in a week because they had them in stock. That was good for my money. The installer who came was informative and courteous. The stair lift performs great, and I can go up and down the steps a little easier. I sit on it and it doesn’t knock me over.

My elderly mother moved in with us, and she couldn’t go up and downstairs, so we had finished the basement for her, and we needed a stairlift. We wanted her to be with the family and be autonomous as well, and the Bruno stairlift gives her that opportunity to still be active and be with others. We liked that Bruno is made in the US, from the Midwest, so we wanted to support something relatively local. Before we bought it, we went to the showroom so we could actually see it. They modeled it, we were able to ride on it, and then the representative came out to the house and talked to us, showed us beforehand how it would look and where it would sit. When they installed it, they showed us how to do it, how it would work, and gave us some tips, so they were very professional. It's very compact. Our stairs are narrow and we were concerned because the door coming up the basement was very narrow. They worked with us to make sure that it would be enough space where it wouldn't be a hazard, and it fits beautifully. It's not in anyone's way, yet it fits in a very small space.

Without the Bruno stairlift, I couldn't go up and down the stairs. It would be better if the seat were to fold up, but I understand why it can't go any farther because the chair itself rotates and the armrest would hit the side of the wall. There’s just a little bit of clearance for the rotation. But the stairlift is okay. I didn’t notice that it collects dust on the grease that's put on there, so that could tend to be a mess in the future, but it's fine. One thing I noticed is that there's a burnt smell and it could be just that it's working through its charging system. But it's not a problem ‘cause it doesn't flip any circuits or anything of that nature. I had a guy come back out and look at it and he said it’s just the way it is.

The Bruno stairlift has changed my life. There were days where I would just stay upstairs all day 'cause I couldn't make that trip. Going down wasn't too bad, but going up was. Now, if I forget something downstairs, I just hop on that and I go. I've had a lot of health issues* over the last couple of years, I have a two-story home, and there's 18 steps to get up to the bedroom, so I was falling and everything. It was my daughter who contacted Bruno and it was a no-pressure sale. The salesperson was friendly and very knowledgeable, told me it’s what I would need, and it was overall a great experience. When it gets to the top or the bottom, you can lift the seat and the arm up so it's up against the wall. The railing is bolted into the step, not the wall, so it can be removed without destroying everything, and somebody can go up and down on the side. I haven't had any problems with it. We even lost power and it still worked. It’s made me feel a lot more confident and safe going up and down the stairs.

I got ** in my back from the military and I can’t go for so far. I got a stairlift through the VA. They found three options with Bruno as the lowest bidder. The stairlift’s top of the line. There ain’t no room taking up on either one of them. It’s compact where it folds up and has safety features on it. It glides up and down easy too.

My husband loves our Bruno stairlift. He couldn't hardly get down and up three steps. He's gonna be 90 in July, his legs just don't work right*, so he’s in a walker. I liked the gentleman's presentation the best. He seemed more informative as to what to check and presented himself in a better way as being understanding on how to explain the unit. The other gentleman that came was about $800 more expensive, which I wasn't happy with. The third gentleman smelled like a smoke pipe when he came in. It was offensive to begin with. I'm not gonna dismiss the person, but he's like a chimney, and seemed more like just to do chit-chat than to explain anything about the stairlift. That put me off. Paramount wasn't the cheapest, although they did price match coming in and that was nice. It was $65 less than what they're originally offering.

Bruno Independent Living Aids came when they said they would, and helped me fill out the paperwork. The guys were helpful, quick and clean. They were not disruptive. I got windows at the top and bottom of the stairs, and they made sure the railings pass and the chair doesn't hit. They could have just slopped it in and been done, but they didn't. They took their time. It was nice. They are five miles from me. If there was breakage or if I needed a repair or something was stuck, they would come quickly.

The Bruno stairlift has made it a lot easier for my wife to be able to get into the basement now. It's built very well. It also fit better than I thought it was going to. It's easy to use, too. She's using it by herself when we do go to the house and she can get around well with it. We're very satisfied with it.

When they came in, they had to cut the track outside for about half an hour. They weren't in the house for more than 15 minutes. It was real slick. They explained everything. We have the lift going from the first floor to the second floor. We got it from Bruno Independent Living Aids and we went on the basis of talking to people that had worked with this company beforehand. Also, the fact that the company had a storeroom where we could go and try the lift beforehand was very helpful. We looked at the Elan and Elite models, and we went with the Elan.
