My husband is 93 and he wasn’t able to go down. In fact, he fell a couple of times going down the steps. So the stairlift helps him get down on our steps now and he is very happy with it. We have a split-level home and I was really surprised that it works out as well as it does. I thought it would come up and curve around. But here, it goes straight up, comes up to the top and stays there. When you go to get on it, you turn it towards yourself and sit down then it turns back around and goes down. The technicians who did the installation were very good too. The two men didn’t have time to even look at us. They came in and installed but I made some conversation and they answered real politely. We liked them very much.

I was getting an outdoor stairlift for my mom and went over to Bruno. Based on my research, it seemed that their product was going to be the longer-lasting one. When their rep was here, he did not over-pressure us and we just had a relaxed interaction. The stairlift fits fine into our outer stairs, which are pretty wide, but my only complaint is on the ends.

Somebody told me about the Bruno stairlift and I saw it on the commercial on TV where there was an elderly lady or a gentleman going up and down in their home. Also, I saw one that was an outside stairlift and I thought I'd find somebody who could help me get one. Then my homecare worker suggested that she would help me put it in with Telemiracle. In fact, my homecare set up everything for me to get the stairlift. I was excited when it was put in because it gave me the freedom to get out of my place and go where I wanted to go. It also brought me home when I wanted to come up back to my apartment because I suffered a whole year without going out of my apartment. I am very happy and satisfied with my stairlift. The quality is lovely, it works, and I enjoy going up and down with it.

My husband cannot walk a whole lot and going up and down the stairs was getting to be an impossibility so, we opted to buy a Bruno stairlift. We bought a used one and at that time, we had the contractor working on the house install the stairlift since he installed one before. But, we had a gentleman that we called to do some work on the stairlift once. We have the straight type of stairlift although I would like it a little more compact so it does not take up so much room on the staircase. I like that my husband can get up and down from the basement to the main part of the house without the risk of falling. We have had the Bruno for seven years and I am very satisfied with it.

Our Bruno stairlift was installed beautifully and very well. The person who did it was wonderful, quick, and very helpful. He did the job perfectly and everything was cleaned up. So far, we've had a wonderful experience with the stairlift. It is nice and we enjoy it. The only thing about it is that the seat cracks when you get up and down on it. There's like a piece of tin. I don't think it should be that way, but it's fine.

A doctor did surgery on my back last May and I came out of it with my left side paralyzed. I have a house with a downstairs and an upstairs, and in order for me to be able to function around here, I needed some way to get downstairs because I cannot walk up or down them. So, the VA put a Bruno chairlift here. A gentleman out of Great Falls, Montana named Bryan care here and put it in. He knew what he was doing and within two hours, he had it done. It's working great and I'm happy the way it is. I couldn’t be without it.

My daughter and my son decided that I should have a stairlift and so far, I'm well-satisfied. I got a couple of bumps when using the Bruno unit but it runs all right. It works well.

My wife needed a stairlift to get up and down the steps and when the installers from Bruno came in, they were very professional. They did what they had to do and said goodbye. We got a curved one and it fits well into our stairwell. However, my main hallway going up the steps is wider than the hallway where the bathroom is, which turns the corner. In some cases, it’s fairly rough with the ladies to get on and off because once that stairlift turns a corner, their knees are almost pent up against the wall. So, they end up unlocking the chair, sliding their legs around, and then swiveling the chair around so they can get off. Also, we still have a rough time trying to deal with the way the chair sticks out into the middle of the floor but with Bruno, everything was great. The stairlift is top-quality and built to last. The rollers are gonna be an issue sometime but as far as the frame that the chair rides on, that looks like solid steel and it’s not going anywhere.

I used to work for an outfit that's affiliated with Bruno and install the stairlifts myself. I worked as a BC Medical rep and for some other outfits. Then I worked for the people that owned Motion Specialties. The head guy in the shop and I were partners on installing the products, so naturally I was gonna go back to him. I’m 87 now and I’ve been retired for a while. The sales reps were very good and went out of their way to help me with my purchase. I had the Bruno inside stairlift installed and it goes from the basement up to the first floor. The installation went really well and the fellow that installed it knew what he was doing. I’ve been using it a long time and I like that it’s handy and smooth. I've had a great experience with my stairlift and I would recommend Bruno.

I can’t walk. I got arthritis in my kneecap and I don’t have any collagen in my hip. The company that I used before was good but Bruno could hold somebody up to 400 pounds and it could twist and turn around corners. The sales rep was wonderful. I was impressed with the care I was given. The installation team was nice. They took all the old hinges from my other stairlift and took the screws out of my railings. They vacuumed that up and put the screws back right. Everything’s lovely. I had them install the stairlift with curves around the corners. It’s very tight though because I live in an old colonial home. They told me if it gets any tighter, they would come out and try to take something out of the wall.

I've had a wonderful experience with Bruno stairlift and it has made my life much easier. I don’t have to worry about falling down the steps anymore. I have a problem with my right knee, I had nine back surgeries, and I had fallen. I called around and Bruno's rep, Pam, was available. She made a special effort to come over here to present Bruno to me. I told her what I liked and she said she had the perfect thing for me. She showed me the stairlift and I liked what I saw. It was what I wanted. One major factor too was Bruno has a place right here so if something happens, I don’t have to wait for a week for somebody to send somebody who doesn’t even know what he's doing to work on it. The product has a lifetime warranty too.

We live in a split-level house and I make a lot of trips up to the kitchen, so we decided to keep the house and put in a chairlift. We got a straight Bruno stairlift that goes from the family room to the kitchen, but we didn’t put it upstairs. A man and a boy put it in. They did a good job and it didn’t take them long to install it. We like that the stairlift is easy to operate. Now, I don’t get as tired going up the steps like I used to. I would recommend Bruno to a friend.

I live in a townhouse and all the bedrooms are upstairs. I broke my hip so I couldn't get upstairs. People were telling me a broken hip takes about a year to completely heal. We ended up going with Bruno cause of the price, quality, as well as the warranty. My wonderful brother did all the legwork and the research for me. He even looked at Acorn, and they were cheaper, price-wise and quality wise. And they didn’t have the warranty that Bruno has. In addition, Bruno is made in America and while the product is a little more expensive, you have to pay a little more to get what you want.

My mother lives in a two-storey place, and she's 102 and three quarters. She needed help going up the stairs, and it was getting way too difficult. We had Gary from Pacific Mobility to come out, and he explained everything about the stairlift. He was very informative and it worked out well. The installer did a great job as well. He kept my mom informed as to what he was doing. My mom likes the Bruno stairlift. She can push the button herself and go up. She enjoys being in control of that. We're very happy with the quality of the stairlift. Overall, the service was great and the installation was quick.

My wife had a stroke and it was getting difficult to get her up and down the stairs safely. We looked into getting a stairlift and the one on that was on the TV all the time made me nervous. On the other hand, I know the Medequip people and Bruno was the brand that they handled. They were also suggested by a competitor, so we went with them. The Bruno sales rep that I worked with was informative. He didn’t try to oversell me on something that was more expensive and he showed the pros and cons of the stairlift. The installation also went well. It was smooth and easy, and although my wife had already passed away, the stairlift made her last days easier and more enjoyable.

The VA came out and went over my medical records. They contacted three companies, set everything up, and it went great. They chose Bruno as the stairlift provider and the installation went well. The gentleman that put the stairlift in was really a nice guy. They had come out one time, but that’s because of a bad battery in my bottom control box. They replaced that and everything’s good. I’m very happy with the service I got from the people. They were very courteous and they did a excellent job. I got an outdoor straight stairlift and I’m very satisfied with it. I use it every day and I'm not afraid to fall down the steps. It fits wonderfully into the stairwell outside.

June, the rep from Bruno whom I dealt with was a good guy. He was pretty conscientious and he knew what he was doing. I ordered a straight stairlift from them and had it installed in our basement. For the month that I had to use it before we had to go to Florida, the Bruno stairlift did its job.

I interviewed a couple of different people. I paid a little bit more for Bruno than I could have for the competitor, but I liked their salesperson better. Their rep came in and he was a very polite guy. He was very knowledgeable about his product and had all the literature available for me to review. Also, he was able to answer all the questions I had at the time. I had a few more later on and made a couple of phone calls and they answered those, too. The same guy came and installed it and he brought a fellow with him. They were pretty fast. This is a three-story house, so I had two separate stairlifts to put in, one from the first to second and second to the third floors. They put one flight in each day that they came. They were here three or four hours the first day and two or three the second day. The second one seemed to go faster than the first. I would recommend Bruno.

The VA took three bids and they picked the company to come out and install. But out of the people that came here to sell their product and to take measurements, the company that won the bidding was the one I wanted all along. I'm totally satisfied with Bruno Independent Living Aids. The two guys who came out to install the stairlift were great. The stairlift works great, and it carries me up with no problem. I have a landing at the top of the steps, so I got a curve that goes on there, and I like that feature.

My mother-in-law couldn’t afford to stay in this house and the only way that we were gonna purchase it from her was if I had a stairlift. I’ve had a back surgery and three neck surgeries. One day, I walked ten times up the stairs and ten times down the stairs then the next day, I couldn’t walk. I was quoted 3 to 4 hours for the installation of the Bruno stairlift but it actually took two to three hours and it went fine. The unit I got is brand new and the quality is fine. I do not have any problem with the stairlift.

My husband’s ankles and knees are really bad. We investigated different companies and heard that Acorn was in for repairs a lot of time, and the best reports were for Bruno. Their rep was very good and the cost was very reasonable. I got an indoor straight lift from the main floor to the top floor. The installer was a very pleasant young man who did a good job. My husband and I are both using the stairlift now. It’s nice and smooth and I’m very happy with it. I’m pretty crippled up and it sure helped me a lot. It has been a godsend.

And then I had a problem with it because I stepped on the footrest on one side and it kicked a dial out. The guy came back. He was only here a couple of minutes and he fixed it. It's working alright.

I’m 91 and I sometimes fall, and I decided to get a stairlift. Bruno was out in Lindbergh, and it was the closest option to me. On my visit there, they explained everything, and they came out to the house to see how long the steps were before they put the stairlift in. They were very nice. The installers really did a good job. They also showed me how to configure the stairlift up and down. I got a straight stairlift and it fits well in my stairwell, and I really like that it slides easily up the steps and down. Since having the stairlift, I go upstairs more. Before, I didn’t like going up too much and I go there only once in a while to clean. I like my Bruno stairlift overall.

My husband can’t navigate the stairs anymore and in looking at stairlifts, Consumer Report rated Bruno a little higher than Acorn. On top of that, Bruno's warranty is longer than Acorn's. The representative I dealt with answered all the questions I had. But he told me the stairlift would be closer to the wall and it's not. The fella who installed it said this is how it had to be. But I did get the foldaway and that might have something to do with it. It’s in a doorway so I had to get the one that folds up so people don’t trip in the doorway when it’s not in use.

My knees didn't work so I had to get a stairlift and Bruno was one of the estimates I got. Their rep was very nice, and he did a good job. I like that the lift gets me up the stairs.

I needed a a stairlift for health reasons. I got one from Bruno because their rep is a friend of my daughter’s. My Bruno stairlift is great. It’s very helpful.

I like my Bruno stairlift very much. If my friends are around, I'd let them try it. I had a Cheney stairlift years before but it got to the point where it was having to be serviced more, so I knew I needed a new one. My daughter looked up Bruno on the internet and every place. Bruno had a very good reputation and I like that it is made in the USA, so we chose them. You think of stairlifts as kind of spendy. But considering that my old Cheney, which cost me $7,000, lasted 30 years, I didn’t think that was terrible. The Bruno salesmen were great and I like the people that I dealt with. The people that installed it were very efficient and nice too.

My experience with Bruno was excellent. I'm very happy with the stairlift. My husband and I are both very elderly and we live in a basement suite. He has severe back problems, and I can see the time in the future when climbing those stairs is gonna be almost impossible for him. So, I felt that putting the stairlift in was a proactive thing to do. And being a local provider, Bruno was our choice. I felt that I would get better service through them if we needed repairs or batteries. Another thing was that it was considerably cheaper than the other company that I got a quote from.

The Bruno SRE-1500 has been in my family for a while but it suddenly decided not to work. I called up the company that services it every year and I was told that I should change the fuse. I got the fuse and changed it but it still didn’t work. At that point, since it's an old unit and if we fix it we do not know what else is gonna go wrong, I decided to do the SRE-3000. The Bruno reps came and installed it and everything worked well. Their reps treated me very well. They even called up to check if everything was all right and that they will be servicing the stairlift as things go along. The SRE-1500 was faster but there are federal regulations now that specify how fast a stairlift can go. On the other hand, the SRE-3000 is much quieter and very dependable. Like anything new, it takes a day or two to get the hang of things. And now, it is working well. I'm very happy with the stairlift and its installation as well as the company and its products.

I got old and I tumbled down the stairs a little. I didn't want that to happen again so I got a Bruno stairlift, the straight one. Their sales rep was very, very thorough. She went through everything and I had to have an addition at the bottom because the stairwell was cut away at the bottom. We discussed it and there was no pressure. I said I wanted it because I didn't want to get off two steps up from the basement. It restricts a little bit but there's still plenty of room to get up and down if people want to walk. So far, I'm very pleased with it. I'm very impressed with the engineering and it's running very well.

I have a bad back and my stairs are very steep. I have to go up and down to wash clothes and I have a freezer downstairs that I have to get things in and out of. Bruno seemed more reliable to me than other stairlift companies, so I went with them and got a straight stairlift. The installation team was fantastic and really polite. They showed me how to operate the stairlift to go up and down and what to do to dust the track. There wasn’t a speck of dust anywhere once their job was completed. The cost of the stairlift is good in relation to its quality and it's super in the way it fits within our stairwell. Our Bruno stairlift has been a godsend.

My husband is a Purple Heart recipient and he walks with a walker, but he can’t walk outside yet. I called the VA, and a straight Bruno stairlift was put in for us. The installers were fabulous. They came one day, the guy measured, came back the next day and it was done. The stairlift is very good for my husband. I have a bathroom downstairs, but he still has to go up to go to the shower. He can never go up the steps. I still could but I use the stairlift, too. It was for him, but if I have something to carry or if I have clothes to bring up or down, I sit on it. The stairlift is very nice and we like it. I’m very happy.

A woman down on the next block had a wheel chairlift installed outside her home by Bruno. Since I have rheumatoid arthritis which is really bad in the morning and I sleep on the second floor, I had a Bruno stairlift installed to alleviate the pain that I have. The sales representative was quite wonderful and he did a really good job. But I wasn’t thoroughly pleased with the people who installed the stairlift. They didn’t take out a railing which they should’ve then installed the stairlift and put the railing on the other side of the staircase. I didn’t specify that, though, so they didn’t do it. But I wish I had said something to those people before they installed the stairlift. I just assumed that if that was their job, they would do the best they could.

I needed help getting down the stairs. I’ve already had a product from Bruno in the past so I already knew they had a good product. I had a curved stairlift installed and the installation went well. The people came out here and put it all together. They explained everything to me and it all went fine. They also cleaned up everything which made things much better. I’m able to get to my basement. Everything that the sales rep told me was gonna happen happened and it fits real good. The quality is very good too. I like that it gets down the stairs in a good time range. Bruno is very good. It didn’t cost me much and I'd recommend it.

I purchased the stairlift for my parents and they were at a place where they needed it. Bruno was rated well and American made which was why we got them. I’ve talked to a few people who sold Bruno and I liked the salesperson the best. He was authentic and we had a very good interaction. We got a curved one and it fits great into the stairwell. So far, the quality has been good.

My mom had fallen and she did physical therapy but it hurt her further. She needed to get out of the house but she couldn’t. My husband and I were trying to help her get a company to come and install a stairlift. When my mom had some work done in the house, a construction man said he saw a house that had a nice stairlift, so he gave me the name of the company, Benchmark Home Elevator, out of Napa, California that sells Bruno stairlifts. Bruno was good, but I dealt with Benchmark and they were terrific.

At 93 years old, it's harder and harder for me to get upstairs. I got a stairlift from Bruno after the company was recommended by a good friend. A friend of hers also had one and she liked it. Everything went well during the sales visit, and then one man came out to do the installation. It was a half-day job for him. He was very clean and professional. The stairlift works fine and its quality is fine as well. I just think I should have gotten a heavier one. I weigh about 140, and they put in a lightweight one which jiggles a little bit more than I think it should.

We were looking for a stairlift that can be custom-made because our outdoor had a stairway, a platform, and another stairway. It had a different shape. I checked with a company called Performance Medical and they did some research and came up with Bruno as being the best. The person I talked to at Performance Medical helped me through a lot of the discussion, and what was needed, and what to watch out for. The actual installation of the stairlift went well, but it took us quite a long time to get it through. I'm in Seabrook Island, which is a gated community and they're very careful of the architectural activities here. We had to get through all of those people, and the town, and the county as well. So far, the stairlift is working fine. We haven't had any trouble. Our experience with Bruno was excellent.

We’ve had issues in the last five years and I can’t go upstairs. I went through the VA and VA came out and checked everything. Then Bruno came out and put the stairlift in. The installation team did a very good job. We got an inside straight stairlift and it is compact and fits well into our stairwell. It gets me up the steps and it's a smooth ride.

I’m facing kidney failure so my mobility is very limited and I have problems walking and long distances, so I have a scooter on my truck to help me move around when I go to different places and I had to load and unload ramps to get the scooter off. I’ve had a few accidents doing that with it falling off, not being straight. I got a curved Bruno scooter lift and the installers were great. It took a while before they could get the parts to put on the back of my truck, so I wasn’t happy with that, but the installation went well and we had a good relationship. It took them about four hours and we were good to go.

My old stairlift broke so I got a replacement from Bruno since they were closer to home. The gentleman who came to my home was very nice but he had such a hard time taking the old stairlift out. He had the old one out in the yard for a while, but then he came about three days later, and he took it away. It was also hard for them to get the new stairlift in, and it seems smaller than my old one. When I try to go up, it stops, and then it starts again going up. With my old stairlift, I had on both sides that I could use to go up and down, but the Bruno stairlift that I got has on one side only. But overall, I'd recommend Bruno to other people.

We’re in our 70s and we wanted to stay here in this home, and yet have access to our basement. It has a set of stairs that is about a 49% grade and it's steep. Getting a stairlift seemed to be the most practical way of doing it. Plus, it cuts down the possibility of falling as you get older. It would be easier and safer to have one. We wanted to deal with someone locally and make sure we had service. The company that we chose used Bruno. We have been very happy with it and apparently, the customers as well. We got a 300-pound straight stairlift and since we do not have a wide stairwell, it fits fine. It does the job and we’re very pleased with it. Two guys did the installation and they were informative along the way. They were very good and nice people. We had a choice of Acorn and there were others but the gentleman that was there felt that Bruno worked well for them in the installations that they’ve done.

I couldn’t walk up anymore and I needed a stairlift. The VA had three companies come in and Bruno had a low bid. During the installation day, I was gone as I had to go down to PT, then through a doctor. By the time I got back home, the installers had it done. I didn’t figure they’d be that quick. The stairlift I got curves around a few times. It takes me up from the bottom first floor to the second floor, and then it stops. There were a couple of bumps on the way up, but other than that, it's not too bad. The Bruno stairlift is saving me a lot of panting at night. I used to walk up the stairs and then I’d have to stand there, put my head on the bed for a while and catch up with my breathing before I could go on. The Bruno stairlift is decent and sturdy and I would recommend it to others.

Bruno had a nice showroom and I liked the people who were selling the stairlifts. The rep was businesslike and our interactions were very pleasant. As I can no longer climb stairs well, I had a straight unit installed and the installers were competent and nice. The stairlift is excellent and it has been very helpful.

My wife’s legs aren’t what they used to be and it’s hard to get up and down the stairs, so we figured we would put a stairlift up the best we could. There’s a local store, Williams, that’s very well-respected. Everybody in town and we know of them. That’s where we went to purchase a stairlift to keep it in the neighborhood and they showed us a couple of stairlifts that they had. We liked the Bruno product and the price that they offered for it was good. The interactions that we had with the reps were very good and we were very pleased with the whole thing. We got a straight stairlift. Its installation went very well and we like the whole unit. There’s a landing where our stairs turn to more steps, so we used the stairlift on the long piece. We're very happy with our Bruno stairlift. It makes it so easy for my wife to go up and down now and she loves it.

I had a stroke and I couldn’t get around. I needed a stairlift and the VA approved it for me. I'm a veteran. Bruno’s reps came and they explained everything about the stairlift to me and they were really nice. They took time with me, sat down and talked to me. They gave me two different options and I needed the one that could take me all the way up and they gave me that. Their customer service was excellent and their installation team was magnificent too. I didn’t think they could do it but they did it in hardly little to no time. The stairlift made running my life better and pleasant and my wife ain't got to wait on me hand and foot no more. It gives her a chance to do her work around the house and I can get on upstairs and go to bed and do anything I needed to do around here. I like that I can just get in to buckle up, hit the button and the lift will take me all the way up. Bruno is an excellent choice.

I’m a VA member and I have trouble coming up and down the stairs. The installer was very efficient in installing a straight Bruno stairlift on the steps. It works very well and now, I can go up and down very easily.

I did research online and read reviews, and thought that Bruno was the best stairlift. We wanted to get the stairlift done as quick as possible because someone was coming home from the hospital. The reps from Bruno were very cooperative and they were able to come out the day we called. Then they did the installation the next day, so it was amazing. We got the straight stairlift and we are very happy with its quality. It improved safety for my parents and we were able to keep them in their residence.

I had hip surgeries and knee surgeries and I didn’t wanna move. My balance is bad too and in my family, there were other people who had trouble walking as they got older, so I got Bruno stairlift about eight years ago and it was fine. Shortly after that, I had a surgery in my knee. I came home and I was fine because I could get upstairs. I have a townhouse that is two levels and the bathroom is upstairs. My stairway is also quite steep. However, my Bruno got old and didn’t work anymore, and I had five days where I had to use the steps. My son put another railing up for me, so I had the two railings, but I really tried not to go up more than a couple of times a day.

My 94 year old mother was having trouble getting up the stairs and it got to the point where she had fallen in the bathroom. We were watching her all the time and one of my mother's classmates, a lady she graduated high school with, has a son who bought his mother a stairlift. In looking into it, I inquired about the Acorn model and the Bruno guys told me they had all-metal gears, whereas Acorn has plastic type gears in the track and I’m a believer in metal.

My wife has Guillain-Barré syndrome so she’s not able to go up and down the stairs. She can walk with a walker but she needs help going up and down the stairs. For her, the Bruno stairlifts are indispensable. We got four straight ones and they're very helpful. Our stairways are a little bit narrow though, so it's hard to walk past the stairlifts. But that’s just the way our stairwells are. Otherwise, the stairlifts seem to work very efficiently. Initially, I looked stairlifts up on the web and Bruno had very good recommendations. The company we used, Access Elevator, strongly recommended Bruno also. Then the people who came for the sales visit were also very helpful in explaining the situation. They detailed exactly what they would do and what they would install, and they answered all the questions we had.

My daughter is handicapped and she needs some kind of a lift to get up and down the stairs. I did a little bit of comparison and I found that Bruno has a good reputation. Plus, I have a salesman right here in my area. I went over and talked with him and found out what I needed to know, relative to what kind of service I could expect. Also, we were able to come up with a good price and Bruno is made in the USA.

My husband has become a little bit unstable the last few months. So, the VA had him do different things like standing, turning around, and also, getting him and out of a bath tub. It was physical therapy and he kinda didn’t make the grade. So, they had us put in the Bruno stairlift out into the garage. We are really pleased with it. Everyone that has seen it and seen it operate says it’s fantastic.

I was falling down the stairs a lot, so I wanted to get a stairlift here and I liked Bruno. I talked to the sales reps a little bit and purchased a curved stairlift. It has made my life better and I like it.

I have 25 steps to climb to get to my apartment. I was also a hairdresser and had a knee that I pump the chair up and down with for 55 years. I wanted to give my knee a break and that was why I bought the Bruno Stairlift. They are the one that is closest to us. And everyone was friendly and kind. I had good service and the people that put the indoor straight stairlift explained everything. They were also clean and professional. I showed my stairlift to someone and told them I was very happy with the one I chose. They were gonna get one from the same people and I told them that they would be happier with an upgrade.

My husband wasn’t having an easy time getting up the stairs. When he got up to the top of the stairs, it was hard for him to step to the floor. He could have fallen so I decided we needed a stairlift. One of our neighbors had bought one from Bruno’s and the place was right here. So we dealt with them. It was convenient. I asked for the thing and they delivered it. The men who were here explained everything and were very nice. They have different stairlifts and they told me which unit would work well for me. It was $3,400. It was not the most expensive but it was not the cheapest either. The quality is good though.

I have arthritis in my back and I was having a hard time walking up the steps. I needed to get a stairlift to help me get upstairs. Bruno stairlift sounded reasonable to me when I inquired about it. The Bruno reps and I got along well and I was pleased with their work. The installation of the stairlift didn't take very long to put in. We have the straight stairlift and it was working well right away from the start. I'm happy with its quality and it is very safe. I would be glad to recommend them to anybody else. I'm pleased with Bruno and my family is also pleased that I chose them.

I’m almost 82 years old and I can’t walk up and down stairs, so I got a straight stair lift from Bruno. The guy that came here to nistallt the thing was good. When it started down, it had a little rumble in it. We talked to the people, they sent another one over, and now it works pretty well. I like my stair lift.

My companion has a hip problem and he’s not able to climb the stairs. We initially buy our home aids from the local co-op home care center and the Bruno stairlift was recommended by the service people there. We had excellent interactions during the sales visit. The man who came initially explained everything, measured the stairs, and the service was very quick. We had the stairlift installed within 10 days. The person who installed it gave a demonstration and showed how to use it, so we were very happy. He was very professional too.

I have severe arthritis and it's hard for me to climb the steps. I submitted an application to get a stairlift and it was approved. A Bruno rep came to let me know that I would be getting a stairlift. Then he measured my steps to make sure that the installer would be able to put the stairlift in and he told me what he was doing. When the installer came, he was very professional and knew what he was doing. He took very good pride in his work. He's very helpful in explaining to me how to use the stairlift and how to care for it. Also, he told me that if I had any problems, I could call them and they would come back and see what was wrong, but so far I haven't had any problems. The overall quality of my stairlift is excellent and it has been a big help. Bruno Stairlifts is a good company and they have good quality equipment. People need to look into them.

We had a third stairlift installed by Androscoggin Lift and they carried Bruno. My husband has Parkinson's so we had it installed. The installers were excellent. They came and installed it in a day. It goes straight up and then you turn it. I don't know if it's as stable as the other ones that I have in the house, but I'm comparing and I'm assuming that it's gonna be good enough. If not, then I'll have good service to take care of it. It's working well and serving its purpose, though. The living room is on the first floor and it takes him up to go to bed and brings him back down in the morning. I'd recommend Bruno.

I had a spinal surgery back in August and it’s gonna be about eight months from then before I would be able to navigate a set of stairs easily. Unfortunately, there’s no way to get to the main level in my house without going up into the stairs. So we knew, going into it, that we were gonna have to make some concession. We didn’t know exactly what we were gonna do so we had one vendor come out and look. The staircase in my house is odd as well since it’s very steep and narrow. The first guy who came out and looked at it said he didn’t believe it would be possible so we put that decision aside. A friend of mine, who's got MS and has been slowly degrading over time, had a stairlift put in in her townhouse a couple months ago and she suggested we call the folks from Access Ability. They came out, looked at it, and said that they thought they could do it, so we went forward.

We need a stairlift for my mom and after doing our research, we found Bruno to be the best. I called Kelly and they gave me outstanding service. I opted for two straight stairlifts instead of a curved one considering that it would be double the price to get the curved one installed. It’s ridiculous. I’ve never seen pricing so different when you have to just create one curve from that standpoint and to join two straight ones. So, I was very, very surprised and disappointed with Bruno on that.

My wife can’t walk and I have to walk her to the bathroom and I’m holding her. I can also take her down the stairs, but I won’t be able to bring her back up ‘cause if she starts to fall backward, there’s no way I can stop her. Also, I’ve been having problems myself. A ramp was gonna be put in all the way to the front end of my lawn and then come right back to the driveway. The fellow, that got the measurements on it, suggested putting a stairlift there instead. He said that it would be easier and a whole lot cheaper than the way they were gonna do it. But I told him that it needed a canopy there because it would be no good if it starts snowing. The snow is gonna get on my porch and the steps and it’s gonna have a mess there. He then said that he would mention that to the company.

I had my leg removed and I needed a stairlift. A buddy of mine had a Bruno stairlift and I was gonna buy his. His was 12 years old. After talking to Bruce up there, for a couple hundred dollars more, he said I should get a refurbished one. Plus, this was one that the chair you could leave anywhere, and it wouldn’t lose its charge. As compared to the one I was gonna buy, it had to be all the way at the top and all the way at the bottom. So, that seemed like a plus. Also, it wasn’t that much more money to get a refurbished one.

Louise and her husband have three staircases and they need to use them but one of them cannot walk up and down. They phoned 101 Mobility and the rep came over. They decided to get three different chairlifts and had two different appointments for the installation. The installers put two of the chairlifts on the first day and the third one after two weeks. After the installation, they showed us what to do with the stairlift. Louise and her husband like the lifts very much which really help them in going up and down the staircase and they're safer too. They have been happy about their experience and have recommended Bruno to one of their friends.

I have osteoarthritis in my knees and I got Type 2 diabetes so my nerves are bad and my feet are numb. To go up and down the steps is really hard for me and painful. The VA purchased Bruno for me and Bruno's reps were prompt. When they were installing the stairlift, my brother was there watching. He was talking through them and they were polite. They installed it quickly. The stairlift goes from the main floor down to the basement and it works fine. I like the safety features and I like the smoothness of the ride. It's easy to get in and out of with or without a swivel seat on it and it has made it easier for me to get up and down.

I live in a two-story house and it’s necessary for me to go up and down the stairs, but I’ve had too many falls going up and down it. When I saw a stairlift advertised on TV, I thought about getting one. My daughter also thought that I should, so I did. Then, two people did the installation and they were only here about a couple of hours. It went fast. They demonstrated it, let me ride it so I could get familiar with it, and they were really nice. I liked the service as well as the stairlift and if anybody needs and wants one, I would highly recommend Bruno. Since I got it, I don’t have to walk up and down the stairs and I haven't had any falls.

My husband was paralyzed from the neck down five years ago and he spent time at the VA and had a surgery that fixed him. But he's getting older now, and we wanna be prepared if it happens again. So, we got a stairlift. The VA sent Bruno to us. The Bruno reps were all awesome. The two young men that came for the installation were total professionals but nice at the same time. They came in, checked what they did, and they double-checked what they did. They made sure everything was perfect and that the inspector came on the same day. Everything worked like a smooth oiled machine.

I’m satisfied with my Bruno stair lift. I purchased it because of my health. I got their number through my neighbor who had one. I got a straight, indoor stair lift that goes all the way up to the nearest bedroom. I like it and it gets the job done for me.

I got a stairlift from Medical Resources about 10 years ago. But it went bad and when we realized that it probably was just the battery, we called Medical Resources to find out if they could fix it. They don’t do those anymore but they gave us a phone number to call. That was how we got to MediEquip. When we went there, the salesman explained everything and was nice. But all MediEquip had were two Bruno stairlifts – the one I purchased and another one, which was $400 more. But it was just a bigger seat.

My experience in dealing with the Bruno sales rep was good. I didn't have a lot of time and I asked specific questions. He cut to the chase, told me what I needed to know and showed me what I asked. The price was also good. I didn’t have time to talk for it and it fit my budget so I just went for it. I got a straight stairlift and it's good even though the spot is small. The installation team was very good too. I needed to be out and they were quick. They made it happen in a short period of time so I could get out and be on my way. The whole experience has been good so far and the stairlift has helped out quite a bit. I wouldn’t have been able to get up and down the steps myself but now, I don't have to go to the laundromat. My husband had a stroke and is a bit handicapped, and he's been using the stairlift as well. Everything works good and I’d recommend Bruno.

Unfortunately, in April, my 21-year-old daughter rolled her jeep and broke her back, and she is now paralyzed from the sternum down. We decided to get a stairlift. We liked that Bruno was very easy to work with and they did what they could to meet my needs. We liked their salesman, too. He went through all the components. He showed me different options. He kinda leaned towards the Bruno model. He said he has very little issues with those, and he did a good sales job. My wife had nothing but compliments for the guys who did the installation. They were well-mannered, nice, didn’t leave a mess, and did what they said they were gonna do.

I went online and Bruno was 5 stars but they're one of the most expensive. There was another company that was $1,000 less than Bruno but the product was made in England. Bruno's factories are in the United States so we chose Bruno. But they did a terrible job during the installation. They started five inches away from the wall, on the bottom of the stairs, going up on top. It was not parallel to the wall. My wife was going up the stairs and her legs were hitting the rail on the opposite side. So, I had to call Bruno and they had to come back in. They had to make 15 new holes and those old holes are visible. Other than that, the stairlift is excellent quality. It's heavy duty and very nice. We're very happy with the quality of the product from the manufacturer and having Bruno has made life easy.

My husband has trouble climbing steps, so we purchased a stairlift. People were sent to bid on it and the Veterans Organization selected the one that they wanted to use, which was Bruno. Bruno’s customer service people were good. If you had any question, they answered. They came out and saw where it was going to be, and got measurements that they needed to perform the service. The installation process was professionally done. They did a good job. They had to come back and redo something ‘cause it wasn’t working. They were very friendly, and they took their time and did their job. It took me a week or so to get used to it, but having the stair lift is convenient. It is easy for my husband and me to go up and down the steps. You can push the button and send the laundry upstairs and send it back downstairs. It is a worthwhile project.

My wife has COPD. Bruno is a good stairlift based on everything we read and what other people talked about. I was comfortable with it. The installation of our straight-run one went very good and I would hire the tech who did it if I was in business. He showed my wife and me how it works. The product fits very well in the stairwell, and the stairs are still accessible. It has helped her. It is well worth it and it is a good machine. I will give it a triple-A.

We have days when the sre3000 beeps and find it difficult to cure. It is especially aggravating when you are trying to sleep. Occasionally there are days when it does not beep. I completed all the checklists to fix, none worked. The service people are unable to find the source of the problem. At this point I can not recommend Bruno stairlifts. I have no choice but to replace it with a different brand.

I'm a disabled veteran and VA set me up with Bruno. Two young ladies visited and did all the measurements. Then the installation was done three weeks after they submitted the paperwork. Most of that length of time would be the VA making decisions though. The installers were professional and did what they had to do. They said what they were doing and they did it.

We enjoy our Bruno stairlift very much. We’re getting to that stage of the game where we’re getting too old to climb up and down those stairs all the time. We thought that Bruno was better than the other one we were looking at. And we got a little more space with the track going up and down instead of sideways. We went down to the store and bought a straight stairlift. The salesperson who helped us was very convenient. Also, the installation went fine. The regular installer had somebody that was learning how, and they had done very well. They were very good and we had a ride after they were done putting the stairlift in. My son built the house and he made the stairs a little wider than normal. So, the stairlift is working great. Its quality is very good, too. Buy one. They’re well worth it.

I was in a bad accident 20 years ago and I've been thinking about getting a stairlift for four years. I tried to go with one but the insurance company said they had two outfits, Bruno and somebody else. I let them pick. I've seen the brochures and they were mostly the same anyway. A guy from Bruno came, did measurements and he sent it to the factory. He told me it could take up to two months but it took only six weeks.

My husband has COPD and asbestosis. Our bedrooms are upstairs and it was very hard for him to get there. We went and got the 101 Mobility since our house is older and the steps of our staircase are not as wide as others. And instead of laying down flat, Bruno's tracks go up sideways. The installation went very well and the installers did a great job. It didn't take them long at all. We were very pleased and we like the stairlift. It also helps my husband a lot.

The Bruno stairlift that we got installed is working out really great. It fits really well for the area that we have to work with. I looked online and Bruno got excellent ratings. The person that came over was extremely nice and a pleasure to work with. The installation went really well, and the installers were really great to work with. They had everything done in a reasonable amount of time. I even asked them to come inside the house to move a piece of furniture for me, and they said, “No problem.”

A family member got me interested in a stairlift so I got one from Bruno. Everything has been fine. I was there when it was being installed and there were no problems. I have MS and going up and down the steps was a nightmare and now, I can get up and down the steps without pain. I would recommend Bruno.

After experiencing a problem with a circuit board on my stairlift the installer wanted to charge for the part. $300 plus shipping. Bruno customer care service stepped in and replaced under warranty. Installer did charge two trip charges but they are independent of Bruno. Bruno acted quickly and in a very professional manner.

When I went down to the store in town and had a look and see what they had there, they recommended that Bruno was a good company. So I then went online to have a look. The stairlift seemed to be okay. The installation of the straight stairlift went well. It took most of the day to have it done. I'm having trouble with it at the moment. It stops frequently when I'm coming down the stairs for no apparent reason. In addition to that, it sounds creaky like it's rickety. It's not as stable as I thought it would be and I would prefer it to go a bit faster. Still, it made it easier for me to get up and down the stairs.

I have a degenerative muscle disease. It's slow, but I was getting to the point where getting to the second-floor bedroom was getting difficult. We went to Clock Mobility and the people there were very helpful. Although I have already researched chairlifts on the internet and did look at Acorn Stairlifts, I decided that I would spend a little more money and get the Bruno instead. There were two people who came out for the installation. One was more of a trainee and the other was a seasoned veteran. They were excellent and were in and out in a reasonable length of time. They answered any questions that I had, gave me a demonstration, and I was very pleased. Overall, Bruno stairlift is an excellent product and I had a pleasant experience with them.

The VA wanted me to get a stairlift for safety. They sent a guy here who did the installation of the Bruno stairlift. He worked well and he knew what he was doing. I got a straight stairlift and it fits nicely within the stairwell. Its quality is nice, too. I use it once in a while when I’m in a bad shape. If I feel bad, I use it badly. Go for Bruno.

Our grandmother is so happy with our Bruno stairlift. She has trouble moving around, specifically up and down stairs. We just moved here from New York, and she came with us. She has an entire apartment in the basement but didn’t want to have to go up and down the stairs. It’s too hard on her. Bruno was one of the better rated brands on the internet. Their rep was helpful and very nice. The sales visit went really well. He told us he would be able to get it in within one day. We thought this was gonna be like a really long process. He had to reschedule once, but once he came in, he got it installed within just a couple of hours. The stairlift doesn’t take away from the way my stairs look into the basement. The build quality was rock solid. It is 100% worth the cost. My husband is very impressed with it, and he said it more than justifies the cost. I would definitely recommend Bruno.

Violet was having trouble navigating steps up and down. She’s 95. We went to Kohl’s and they recommended Bruno. The salesperson who came here was very accommodating and knowledgeable, and he really sold us on the Bruno stairlift. The installation team was good, friendly, and did their job well. We have a stairway that has a landing and then it continues up. So we have two chairs and two stairlifts. It was less expensive that way than going with the custom built. We got the straight stairlift and we’re very pleased. It’s working well. We like that it kinda folds up out of the way very quietly. Also, it certainly made Violet lift a lot easier. She was really struggling to get up.

My back surgeries were successful because it took my pain away, but it left me with very weak legs. One time, I even fell backward down the basement steps, so that's why I purchased the stairlift. I was very impressed with Bruno when I saw their videos online, and their pictures looked well-made. And they are also made in the USA. They offered two different models and I got the elite because of its 400-pound capacity. Not only I can use it to go up and down basement steps, but I can also put items on my lap going up and down. I can even put a 50-pound bag of salt for the water softener in my lap, and then take it down. I feel blessed that I can afford it, but it's sad to say there are people out there that need one and they can't afford it. It'd be wonderful if the stairlift was about 1/3 of the cost.

The way the Bruno rep presented himself was good, and the options that they had for the chair sounded good as well. We got a straight stairlift. It’s a little compact, but it works good if you needed it. The installation team who came out knew what they were doing. They were professional looking and they got the stuff done. They showed us how to work the stairlift and gave Andrew a ride on it, and they left. Overall, Bruno's crew were compassionate, and they understand how the elderly and physically impaired people are. The stairlift’s quality is good. I like it. Andrew drives it up and down, and he uses the remote to take his laundry down, and it works good for him. Then I installed some handrails at the top, so when he gets to the top, he can get into the rail.

I broke my leg in four places and I can’t walk anymore. I was in the market for a stairlift and the sales visit was fine. 101 Mobility has an office here while everybody else was from out of state. They explained everything. We set up an appointment for the installation and then my son in-law took care of when they came and put it in. I got a stairlift that curve twice and it fits as well as it can and also doesn’t interfere with anything. The stairlift is functional and very good but I’ve got two little problems with it that I’m waiting on the professional installers to resolve. One is with the remote control as an empty seat won’t come downstairs. Also, the left armrest won’t stay up, which may just require some screwdriver adjustment.

I was gonna have knee surgery, so I would need a stairlift for a while, plus we're getting older. So, based on the local dealer's history and reputation, we decided to go with Bruno. We went to see the dealer, looked at his thing and talked to him about the stairlift. We ended up getting two straight stairlifts. The installation went fine except that one part he sent was defective and we had to wait a while until he got the new part to install the second one. But everything is working fine now. After my surgery which I'm recovering from, the Bruno stairlift makes me able to get up and down stairs easily, however, we're using the stairlift more as a dumbwaiter than a stairlift.

I live alone and I do my laundry myself. My laundry is in the basement and I like to go down there and do some quilting too. However, I'm unable to take a step without aid of either a walker or a cane. I'm really handicapped and so I needed a stairlift. I got one from Bruno, and now, when I get down to my basement, I can do what I have to do and ride back up and not be all out of breath. Getting the stairlift was a lot of money but I needed it.

The sales visit from Bruno was very pleasant. We got the straight stairlift and I'm so upset with it. The reps came out once and checked the rail and looked at the switch. They said it wasn't a good switch so they had to replace it. A lot of people have trouble with the switch, so I'm very upset that Bruno would even sell it because it's another $100 to get a better switch. I don’t think Bruno should be selling it in the first place.

We had gotten some things from Sheridan so we also got the Bruno stairlift from them. They seemed very knowledgeable about what they were doing. Vince came here on time, which was good, and he measured everything. He answered all our questions then he gave us his card and told us to call him if we had any other questions. The installation took a little bit longer than we thought because we had to get two units. In the beginning, I wasn't sure I wanted the stairlift but I did for my husband. I also didn't expect I'd use it as much but it took a burden off of me. Now, I use it all the time. It's nice and with it, I don't have to take the wash baskets up and down. My husband and I love Bruno stairlift and we're very happy with it.

I read good reviews on Bruno on the quality. I dealt with Mobility123 for the installation and they were great to work with. They did the installation all in just a matter of hours and it went great. The stairlift works very well and fulfills all my needs. It also made things easier for me.

The Veterans association got me an inside straight stairlift from Bruno Independent Living Aids. During the installation, the installers went about their work and the whole thing took a couple of hours. The stairlift is a nice piece and I enjoy it. It has a very fine quality.

My wife needed a stairlift to be able to get upstairs. We went with one from Bruno since after doing my research I heard good things about them. Their price was also very favorable. Their salesman promptly came for a visit and he was very nice and informative. We got a straight stairlift and we were able to get it in very quickly. The gentleman that put it in knew what he was doing and it was no big deal for him to get it in.

The VA got me a chairlift from Bruno and with it, I'm breathing a whole lot easier. I have a straight one and it is of very good quality. I had two wonderful people install it and though I had some problems with it, they got it worked out. The bottom part of the product didn't have a piece on it, so it went in to the carpet. It cut the rails up a little bit which made it not work, but that has now been taken care of. The stairlift is also in the way of the stairwell a bit, down to the bottom, but we're working around it. All in all, Bruno had some bugs to work out but once they got those fixed, it would be very nice. The stairlift works excellently.

My husband is 88, blind, and hard of hearing. He fell down the basement stairs one day and broke his neck. After that, guards were put in our bathroom and all that and then the VA wanted to put in a stairlift, but he didn't want it because he felt like it still brought him down the stairs. But earlier this year, he had a stroke and he couldn't walk for five weeks. At that point, we went out for physical therapy and the VA decided to put in a stairlift. They bought a unit from Bruno and contacted a company to put it in. The guy who installed the unit was very nice about everything. He told me how to operate the unit because my husband couldn't hear very well. The stairlift goes straight up from our living room up to the bedroom and it is a very good aid. It works wonderfully and I also take the laundry up the steps on it.

My wife was having trouble making it upstairs. Initially, I wanted to get the Harmar Pinnacle stairlift for her and Bruno was the second choice. The stairlifts from Bruno were a little wider than the one I wanted. I also looked at two Brunos and at the time, I thought I needed a retractable end piece. But, the one with the retractable or folding rail stops when you get a third of the way up. Then on the way down, you come down, stop, and start again. The end piece then reclines to the bottom position so that it wouldn't be in the way of anybody. But if it is stored, the end piece is up. With Pinnacle, you go straight up and down and it doesn't stop, so I like it.

The indoor stairlift we have from Bruno is a good product. It helps somebody get up and down the steps better. It goes up about 10 steps and runs very smoothly and fairly quietly. Plus, the cost was surprisingly affordable. I also had an excellent experience during the sales visit. It was to the point. They were very concise and clear with their facts and figures. I was recommended a type of stairlift which I was told that seemed to be the best value and the customer satisfaction with that one was above others. The installation was a breeze, too, and it took just about an hour and a half. The two guys who came out were very thorough and very professional, and they knew exactly what they were doing. Also, with the way the components came, it was not a lot of mess. I’d recommend them.

The manager of the Housing Authority inspected my house and he thought I was walking with a cane. I have a lot of steps to go up, and I had surgery on my spine in July of last year. So, he suggested that I get a stairlift. I got a straight one from Bruno and the installation went along fine. The installer was thorough and quick with his job. I like the safety and the smoothness of the stairlift and its quality is very nice. it helps a lot because I was having problems going up and down the steps.

I could go downstairs all right but I could do about three quarters of the stairs coming back up. The stairs started getting tough for me to handle. One of the gals who works up at the VA suggested getting the stairs. The VA set everything up and I had a very good interaction with the person who came out for the sales visit. All questions I had were answered and I was told stuff I didn’t know. I’m glad I found out that stairlifts for cellars are also made because I really love it. I live alone and I would go down the cellar to do washing. The stairlift fits in the stairwell perfectly. The installation team came, told me what they were there for, went to the stairs and worked on it, and were all done and gone in about 2 hours later. They stayed long enough to let me try it before they left. They were very good and professional and the quality of the stairlift was very good too.

The Bruno sales reps were excellent, and the installers took about an hour and a half to install my straight stairlift. They charged me $1,300 but the stairlift works good. I'd recommend them.

Someone elderly who lives where I am had a bad fall one time and he can no longer walk up and down the stairs. We went with Accessible Systems the reps whom we spoke with were very informative and efficient. Two men came thereafter and started assembling the Bruno stairlift for us in the driveway. They moved it up to the stairs and left everything really clean when they were finished. Since then, everything has been working really well. Though the person using it would like it to be a little faster, it's a very smooth ride. It's also easy to use with the buttons. Overall, it's a very good product.

My father’s very weak and we’re very concerned about him travelling up and down the stairs. We decided to use a stairlift to try to keep him safer. We decided to go with Bruno after looking at reviews and ratings. It's also a local family-owned company and we really like that. Their rep was also very knowledgeable and helpful. It's a good experience and it made mom feel good.

That had a big effect on our decision on why we went with them. Our interactions with their salespeople have been top-notch. I moved from a house to a condo, which was on the second floor and buying a stairlift was a no-brainer. The Bruno sales rep that worked with me was lovely. The stairlift that I got was a straight one and it's inside. The installation went fine and the installer came and put it in in a couple of hours. However, I was concerned about people with difficulty with their right arm as the only buttons are around the right arm of the stairlift. As a retired nurse, I think that's something they should address. Other than that, I'm pleased with the stairlift and I gave my friends some information about Bruno.

My husband has a heart condition and he could not climb stairs anymore. He was coming home from rehab so we needed to put in the stairlift very fast. When I saw that Bruno was local, I called them and they came out and I liked them. Everything went very well from the time the sales rep came out and the time they told us it would take. When they came out and installed it, everything was very fine. We got two stairlifts installed. One is just for three steps and then the other is for going up to the bedroom. They are working great and very quiet.

I went through Dick's Homecare to get a Bruno stairlift. The interactions with them were awesome. I talked to the rep on the phone and she explained the pricing. My husband was gonna come home from the rehab center and they managed to get the stairlift in within three days. The installation was easy peasy and the installer was such a nice man. However, I had to take the handrail down on the side where it got installed. If I decide to walk up and down the stairs or if somebody comes to visit, you don't have that handrail. The stairlift is easy to use and does its job. My husband was gonna have trouble going upstairs, it made it easier for him. Plus, I have a form of dementia where I often fall and the stairlift is very secure for that as well.

My husband has acute myeloid leukemia. He was also in a very severe car accident back in 2003. The combination of these two things makes it very difficult for him to get up and down the stairs in our house. But our Bruno stairlift seems to be a big help to my husband. It was provided through the VA. They chose Bruno and they have a contract with the company the put the stairlift in. First, the people from the VA came and took measurements. And then the company that installed it came and made the stairlift fit for what we needed it for and for where it needed to go in our house. Shortly afterward, the stairlift was brought here to the house and two gentlemen came and installed it. It was pretty simple. The installers were allowed two hours but the installation took around a little less than that.

I am not able to walk anymore and I'm confined to a wheelchair. We recently bought this home here in Rochester and it has a full basement. We have a bedroom and laundry room down there and I wanted to be able to get down there. I'm a minister and we also have a lot of books. I have to put my books down there and I need to get to them as well. The sales visit by Bruno went very nicely. The installers were also very nice and they were very quiet. They got it done in just a couple of hours. Our steps are really narrow and if they had been narrower, they couldn't have put that in and I would have been really upset. I am glad that the chair turns as I've had three spinal fusions and all this problem comes from my back. When it comes up to the top of the steps, I don't have to get up facing left or right, it turns so I can face straight out. That makes it a lot easier for me to get up with my walker.

I heard that Bruno was the best so I opted for their stairlift, and I'm very satisfied with my experience. I dealt with Mobility Concepts in Seattle and they were friendly and knowledgeable. The installation also went very well. We had to have the stairlift inspected and it had to be able to do 5000 pounds up my stairs, and it passed. Having the stairlift now, I can use it for a lot of things. If I don't ride in it, I can have it take my laundry or things up and down my steps or whatever I need to do.

I'm 81 and I was having trouble with my hips. I had trouble getting up the stairs, like I had to come up one at a time, to advance every step with my left side 'cause my right knee wouldn't let me. I thought that in time that was gonna raise Cain with my left hip and it would cause damage. I saw Bruno and just checked with them and we went from there. The sales visit went fine. Their sales reps were as honest as anybody were gonna be. They were helpful and down-to-earth. The installation of the stairlift didn't take that long. I had a straight track and there was nothing they had to work around. So far, the stairlift is working fine. I am impressed by the fact that it was made in this country. Also, it was made not too far away from the store and that I could get repairs in a short time. I would recommend them.

We selected a company for a stairlift purchase and their team came. They measured everything and they knew what they were doing. Then they came back, showed up on time, and installed the Bruno stairlift in a timely fashion. They explained everything and did a good job. They were also friendly and very professional. We are happy with their services. We got a curved stairlift and it fits into the stairwell reasonably, but I wish it was a little more compact. Still, it works and that's convenient. The quality seems to be good too. Now, it's a lot easier for my wife who doesn't have very good mobility to get up and down the steps and the stairlift gives her that freedom. She’s happy with the Bruno stairlift.

We have a two-story home and the bedrooms and the only bath are on the second floor. My brother lives here in the house with me. He had a major surgery and he was in the hospital and rehab for four months. I was very concerned about how he would able to manage because there was a point where the thought of him being able to do the stairs was not even fathomable. When he was in rehab, it was suggested that a stairlift would be a great thing. But I wasn't sure because I wanted him to be able to continue to exercise and to use the muscles in his legs. Also, the house is older and the stairlift was something that I wasn't sure I was comfortable putting in given the integrity of the house. But I got over that pretty quickly. The most important thing was for my brother to be able to have as much accessibility to the house as possible and that he would be safe and have some comfort in doing that.

I have a two-story house and I have problems getting upstairs. I kept falling down the stairs and I messed up my back and my legs. I had a number of surgeries and I had a kidney transplant. I almost messed up the organ when I fell the last time. I couldn’t afford to move into a single story house so a stairlift was a definite need. The visit by the stairlift provider was very smooth. A guy came, took pictures, and made all the measurements. It wasn’t bad at all and it worked out well. But with the installers, I had one problem where they did a little damage to my stairs. It took about several hours for them to put the stairlift together. They had to drill through the stairs to put the rails up, but the area that was not a part of the stairs seemed like someone made a mistake. Maybe the drill came off and it hit other areas of the stairs. Even so, I left it alone.

I was getting to a point in my age where coming up and down the steps is getting hard. We decided on a lift instead of finding a different place to live. Bruno was in our area and we figured that a provider from here would be better than somebody from out of town if we needed anything done. The Bruno reps were very nice young people and they did a good job of taking care of everything. We got the straight up and down stairlift which has 12 steps as well as a landing at the bottom and at the top. It took them about two hours altogether to install it and then they showed us how everything worked. Thereafter, they gave us a number to call if we needed anything. Since then, the stairlift has done exactly what I want it to do and I like it.

It was hard to get my groceries up the steps so I decided to purchase a stairlfit. My children got me a Bruno and the rep whom we worked with was very nice. He made me feel comfortable when he was demonstrating how to use the stairlift and told me to call him anytime. Since getting the stairlift, having the remote control for it has been my favorite. If the stairlift is downstairs, I can push the remote and it will come up. Having it also helps me because at times, I go outside and get so tired. When I come home, it's nice to not have to walk up the steps. Overall, I'd recommend this stairlift.

My husband and I have a whole bunch of people right around us went with Bruno and they all love it. So, we didn’t look any further than them. Everything was perfect with the sales rep and the installation went beautifully and the installer was very nice. It's a lot of money for us as we are both retired, but it was something that we really needed because we both have COPD.

I did a little shopping around and I went with the dealer that was located nearby. I got straight stairlift, and it fits fine into the stairwell. It works and I'm satisfied with Bruno.

Bruno was able to schedule me fairly soon after initial interview, and then they got the straight stairlift installed in good time. The cost was reasonable, and the ride seems good, but there's one spot through the way up where it always does a little grinding. But it's just noise and I don't feel any difference in the ride. The stairlift is a good thing for those of us who live in a two-storey house and can't handle stairs anymore.

We looked at several stairlift providers online. We spoke with one company and decided that theirs wasn’t up to what we wanted in a stairlift. They were good, except for the planning. They said that they could stop the stairlift at the bottom where we wanted to, then they came back and it didn’t work out. With them, we would've had to tear a closet door off and reframe some of the walls, then have an open closet door that the thing could come around it and sit in the closet, which we didn’t wanna do because that would look very unattractive.

The salespeople from Bruno was very friendly and they did a good job. The installation guys were awfully friendly as well. The stairlift has great quality and all the features on it are good. It's working fine.

I shopped around and went with Bruno for the dependability of the product. We had a curved stairlift installed and it went fine. The installation team cleaned up and showed us how it works. Also, this stairlift is better and more than everything I thought it was gonna be. I would recommend Bruno.

I was looking for a very good stairlift. I researched online and read reviews. I looked at Acorn first because they're on the TV daily, but some of their reviews were not so good. I also checked out Bruno and one of their dealers in Oshawa is Durham Medical. I've dealt with Durham Medical before when my mother was alive, which was why I decided to go with Bruno. Doug came out and did an assessment first to decide what we needed. He was very quiet, helpful in explaining things and professional in installing the stairlift.

I looked around a bit online for chair lifts and then I went to the Mobility One store in Garden City and also looked there. Bruno is the number one selling chair there and I liked the fact that it had longer warranty than others. The chair cost $3,000 but I love it and it changed my life. I’ve told several people about it. The chair is not fast, and it is not designed to be fast, but when I have to bring up groceries, I really don’t care, the fact that I’m not bringing them up, but the chair. It hits a little bump where the rails come together, but it was rather discerning as I’m getting used to it and I don’t notice it now. The safety features can be a little aggravating at times, but most safety features are. I still walk four stairs to my landing and then I take the straight chair. And at some point, I may have to do another chair for the four stairs, but I’m gonna hold out as long as possible.

The straight stairlift from Bruno fitted my budget and they did a very good job at installing it. I was a little bit scared using the stairlift in the start, but then two times up and down, I got it. Having the stairlift is easier for somebody who doesn't climb the stair that good anymore like me. It's really nice, but I have a little problem with it now. It makes lots of noises when I go up, and we already called Bruno about it. Otherwise, I'm happy with it.

I liked what I saw when I stopped at a place that had a dealer for Bruno. I also liked the demonstration by the salesman. I ordered two straight units, one to go upstairs, and one to go downstairs. The installation was good. I'm very happy with the units and their quality is excellent.

My husband can't walk up and down the steps. The VA provided us with two Bruno stairlifts, one inside and one in the back and they're both curved. The inside stairlift is an interior curved model and the other one is outside curved. We're in a split foyer home and the inside one curves around a newel post in our foyer to go downstairs. Our stairs are narrower to go downstairs but the seat is up here when I need to walk downstairs, so it’s not a problem. The outside one doesn't curve around the newel post. It curves on the outside. Also, it has a neoprene cover for the seat and the motor which we like. Rob from 101 Mobility helped with the installation of all lifts and Kerone helped with the outside one and they’ve been fantastic.

Our local home medical supply people recommended Bruno stairlift. I like the machine, however, my wife doesn't like the adjustment screw that sticks out at the top of the stairs and throughout the end. She’s afraid that that’s gonna poke me in the foot. I’ve got neuropathy and my feet don’t always go where they want them to and I can easily poke my foot with eyes closed. She put a plastic wiring over to protect it. Overall, my wife said that they were nice and very professional people.

I like the size, comfort, and capacity of the Bruno stairlift's seat. It was put in just a couple of weeks ago and so far, it is working fine.

My financial provider found Bruno Independent Living Aids for his father several years ago, but his father eventually died before they could get it. He remembered having researched companies and Bruno was the one he had chosen, so when I needed it, he recommended it. The one-guy company came out to do the installation. I talked to him and told him that I had to have the stairlift done immediately because I was coming home from the hospital. I had a non-weight bearing surgery. Although he doesn’t work on Saturdays and Sundays, he came out on a Saturday and installed it for me. He did it in about three hours. However, he didn’t do the thing around the banister, the last two steps at the turn, which has presented a problem for me. First, I go down the stairs and there’s a landing, then I turn and there are two steps, the elbow.

My husband had a stroke about 20 months ago and up until a few weeks ago, he had been able to navigate the four steps that come from our den up into the rest of the house. We worked with Craig, the owner, and he wasn't pushy at all. He told me the differences between brands. I purchased a straight stairlift from them and two young fellows came to my place to install. They explained everything about the lift thereafter. However, it's noisy when it runs and I don't like all the bells and buzzers going off and our dog was barking at it. So, I called the installers up and they came out and unhooked those things. The lift has been working since.

I use a wheelchair so I need a stairlift to get into my home. I purchased one from Bruno through the Veterans Administration, who contacted Bruno and paid for that equipment. I have two stairlifts that are both straight, one exterior and one interior. The contractors were very courteous and respectful. However, the first one didn’t do their job. With the first lift that I had, the platform collapsed and the contractor put the suspension bars incorrectly.

The installation went wonderfully. The guy was in and out after five hours and he did an excellent job. Everything looks and works great. However, I had a problem with it. I put the unit up so that people can walk by it on the stairway and the left arm came loose somehow and was flapping. Someone came over and tightened it right away so it's been great.

Tom was the young man I worked with and I trusted him. He came down and fixed the Harmar stairlift for me off the books. He also brought his wife down and we had a lovely lunch and a lovely conversation. We spent easily four hours together of visiting and I picked Bruno because of him. I'm a widow on a fixed income. It was hard but I managed to find the money and I will manage to pay it back. For the installation, Tom came down with another man and put the straight stairlift in. That went very well and the unit fit in our stairwell beautifully. I had a stairlift before but the Bruno unit has made a hell of a difference. It's a very smooth ride. You don't even feel it going up or down. The other night, I was wondering why it wasn't moving but when I looked up, I was halfway up the stairs. It's that smooth and I'm satisfied with it.

I have an artificial hip and as I got older, it was harder to do the laundry. My kids were talking nursing home and we decided that we would redo the house. I got a used stairlift and it needed some repairs so I decided to just get a new one. We put the Bruno straight stairlift in and I love it. The guy who came out and talked to us about the Bruno stairlift was a start-to-finish guy. He did the quote, measured, installed, and did everything. He followed through on everything he said he would do and we like that. He was also really nice, friendly, polite and did a good job. However, delivery took way longer than we were originally told. So we didn’t get the stairlift till the day after I came home from the hospital for an open heart surgery, but it was okay. The installation team stayed right on until they got it done and it now works perfectly. We got a curved one because we have a landing and it doesn’t take up a lot of room. There’s still room to walk up the stairs easily beside it.

Bruno's sales rep told me what they were gonna do. We got a straight stairlift and the installation was okay. It fits well in our stairway and the quality is good. Claudio has back and knee problems and the stairlift helps him get up the stairs.

We had been considering getting a stairlift for quite some time. My husband has left side mobility issues from a stroke, and he recently had an injury to his strong leg. We were in a situation where climbing the stairs was not gonna be possible. I did an internet search and looked at feedback, and from that, I checked our local medical equipment stores. One of the stores, MediEquip, had Bruno's unit on display. I rode it and played with it and felt like that would be the one to go with. The sales rep was great. Her name is Elizabeth and she was very warm and approachable. She's a listener so she understood what our needs were. She was also knowledgeable. She absolutely knew how to operate the stairlift and answered all of my questions, and I felt that she was trustworthy and had our best interests at heart.

I purchased the BRUNO ELAN SRE3000 in Sept 2, 2015 after doing considerable reviews vs the ACORN stairlift products. I paid more for the Bruno than the Acorn, as I was expecting a superior product. I just had the installer out to diagnose why the Bruno Elan suddenly quit working. I was informed that the circuit board needed replacement. The cost of the repair (NOT under warranty is as follows: Initial service call - $150.00. Board - $308.75. Shipping the board - $20.00. Service call for install $150.00. Total $628.75. Additionally on December 8, 2017 the battery died. Two more service calls, one to diagnose and a second to install a new battery. Total $300.00.

We looked at Bruno's stairlift and we liked it. We reached out to Bruno, and our experience with their reps was outstanding. They were very clear and concise in explaining the features on the stairlift and they let us try it. The showroom where Bruno had the set up of the stailift itself so you could try it was good. The installers were terrific. They explained everything. Our straight stairlift is good and its safety features are excellent.

My wife has a foot problem and she wants to get upstairs to go to bed, so she had to get up there somehow. A Bruno stairlift provider is close to me and I called them for an estimate. They came out and they were very helpful and nice. Their price was good too. We did business with them and the sales rep was very well versed in the product as well as in the installation of it. He shared his knowledge, showed us how to work it, and it couldn't have been better. The installation was short and it went excellent. We got a straight stairlift and it's an inconvenience by virtue of the fact that it takes up space in the stairwell. But as far as things go, it’s fine and not a problem. While no one enjoys needing artificial means to get up the steps, the Bruno stairlift is a nice product. It's clean, compact and unobtrusive as possible.

I got quotes from different companies and 101 Mobility out of Kent Island, Maryland seemed to be the most knowledgeable. They also made some good recommendations. So I chose them to install the stairlift. It's for my brother who weighs 400 pounds so I chose Bruno because they carry stuff for larger people. Everything bariatric cost more but the stairlift seems heavy-duty. We got a straight stairlift for outside and its installation went very well. The crew who came explained everything and showed us how to use the stairlift. My brother, who injured his leg, has been using the stairlift for two weeks now and it seems to be working for him. He likes it.

I find it hard to climb the stairs and there's always somebody helping me. I went to Canada Care and they recommended Bruno. The rep I worked with did a good job and the one-man installation team who came did a good job as well. The installer's name was Mark and his cleanliness and professionalism were world class. He also explained everything to me. So far, the straight stairlift is helping a lot and I'm using it every time. I'm happy with it.

A therapist at the rehab place said my husband should no longer climb the steps, and so we decided to put in a chairlift rather than move. I called two places locally as I wanted somebody local in case it needed service. The first person had a beautiful brochure that somebody had given me, but they never called me back. The therapist at the rehab place called this person who said he didn’t do them anymore, but he recommended a guy called Scott who works at Mobility Supercenter. I also did some work on Google and it said that Bruno was one of the best. I was very pleased with the whole sales procedure. The rep was very professional and wasn’t pushy.

We researched about stairlifts and it showed that Bruno was more of a reliable chair in the mechanisms. A gentleman came out and gave us a price that was $2,000 more than what the Cedar Valley Mobility rep did. However, he was absolutely wonderful to work with and told us to stop at their shop and look at the stairlift. I’m a very visual person and I wanted to see what was going in the house so I went there. We got a call that my father-in-law's insurance was being cut off, so he had to get out of the assisted living, and Bruno literally worked us in the very next day. The installation crew got the straight stairlift in, showed us how it works and how to clean it, and was out within an hour.

My mother is 92 years old. She got macular degeneration and her walking is compromised. She has a lot of shaking so she was trusting me to hold her when she came down the steps. It got to a point where I got to do something. The company that I went with uses Bruno and they felt it was a quality product. While the initial sales visit was fine, the decision to buy it was done on the phone. And the gentleman who installed it was nice, very efficient, and he explained things to me. We have a straight stairlift installed for a stairwell with three flights of steps and although it's fine, I had to squeeze by to get up to the top and help my mother off the stairlift. In fact, we have our little routine where she gets on the chair on the bottom level and then I'll push it up and turn the chair around. I then have a grab bar where she could hold on to it to stand up.

I have heart and back problems, I can hardly walk. I can’t go any place without steps unless there’s an elevator and whenever I go to the doctor’s he has to put me in a wheelchair to push me around. For me to be able to get downstairs to do my laundry, I had to have something to get me back up and down the steps. I had a stairlift before from another company and I really liked it. However, it broke and that company is out of business now. Someone then recommended Bruno to my son and we had their guy come in, talk to us and show us the papers with pictures. The guy who did the installation was a very nice man. He did an excellent job and he cleaned up after he was finished. I love my Bruno stairlift and it is working perfectly. If I didn’t have it, I wouldn’t be able to go down into my basement. I've already recommended Bruno to someone and he got the same chair that I have.

Our Bruno stairlift is saving me and my husband. He’s 81 and I’m 78 and I have bad knees. I wish I had the stairlift a month sooner because my daughter is bedridden and it wrecked my other knee going up and down the stairs so much when I didn’t have it. I'm very happy with our Bruno stairlift. It’s wonderful. We did some investigating from different companies and they had said that Bruno was the best product. We got the straignt stairlift and it is closer to the wall than the Acorn.

We live in a senior area and we purchased a stairlift for the church. We have a lot of seniors. I was searching the internet and I landed a company in Chicago who referred me back to Bruno. I did a research and found out that they were a very reputable company. They gave us some information on the product and another party installer, Ablecare, sent their sales person which was great and we got things rolling. I like the stairlift. It's easy to operate and it's a good product. The service is good as well. We had one little hiccup with the stairlift so they had to come out one time for that and had something adjusted. Overall, the system worked well. I love it and I will recommend to anybody.

I have a broken back and the VA put having a stairlift in as a prescription and chose Bruno Stairlifts for me. It is one of the best things I ever had. The reps were friendly, efficient and quick. They had the stairlift in in about two to three hours. Everything was simple and I’m grateful. I got the straight stairlift and it leads upstairs to the bedrooms. I like the feature where it comes across the bottom where it would block a passageway and it lowers more of the rail for the lift but once the chair goes up, the rail picks up. It’s a clever apparatus and I’m very pleased with it. It’s comfortable, it works and it got everything I need. It’s perfect. I would highly recommend Bruno.

We're 90 years old and we find it very difficult in getting up and down the stairs. The Bruno sales reps came to our home and were all very professional. We opt for the indoors. We have a split-level house and the stairlift goes from our living room to our bedrooms. The quality was very smooth and I liked that it eliminates my climbing the stairs. I would recommend them. If people needed the feature of not being able to manage the stairs, they should get a Bruno chairlift.

I had trouble with the decision whether to add a bathroom or keep the house as it was and put a stairlift in. I tried staying on one floor, but it was hard for me, so having a stairlift answers all our problems. I use the Bruno stairlift for everything. It has a curve to it, but I’m liking the straight up and down. My front door was involved with it going into the living room and the front door. During the installation, I had company here and she was determined to talk with the installation people and tell them why I needed the chair. They didn’t say a word, but the older man explained afterward. The quality of the Bruno stairlift is fine. It made my life so right and I’d recommend them.

I purchased a stairlift as it became difficult for me to get up and down the stairs and I had to walk up and down with a cane. I had three different representatives from three different stairlift companies and Bruno was the one the VA chose. I had a sales visit three times and the interactions with the rep from Bruno were fine. Last week, the people from Bruno called and said that they needed a picture of the stairlift so they could be reimbursed for the work that was done. The fellow said that he would be here Friday to take pictures of it so it could be sent in but he never showed up.

Both my father-in-law Steve and his wife are disabled and they need help to go up and down the stairs. Bruno Stairlifts was recommended to us. We got the straight stairlift that leads from the first to the second floor. The quality of the stairlift is good. It's working very well and we're all happy with it. We were getting our basement done and the fellow that was doing the work suggested that I should get a stairlift since I had trouble going downstairs. I went to a medical store and I saw different stairlifts and they said they had the best experience with Bruno and thought it was a good product. They had a demonstrator there and I tried it. The price seemed reasonable, too. I've had my straight stairlift for about two weeks and I use it almost every day. It seems to do exactly what it's supposed to do. It's a well-built product and it looks like it'll last through its guarantee period.

I haven’t been able to walk so we purchased a stairlift. My daughter decided to go with Bruno. We got the indoor stairlift that goes up the stairs in the house. The rep was fine and the installation was okay. The stairlift works very well, too. However, I have a little bit of trouble with it. When I get to the top or the bottom of the stairs, and when I push the stairlift to the side, I have to use a little bit of pressure for that. Still, the stairlift makes it easier for me to go upstairs. I would recommend Bruno to someone that needs it.

My wife has stage four breast cancer and we couldn’t get her out of the house to make appointments. I did a lot of checking and Bruno sounded like they were one of the better ones. It also turned out that the local people used them. We got a straight, outdoor unit and the reps at Motion Specialties in Chatham were excellent. This Bruno stairlift starts from the ground, goes up to the house level and so far, so good. The installation was good too. The people knew what they were doing and they were good.

I had a stairlift before and it got old. Bruno was close and handy so I got a straight one. I have it for my residents and they enjoy it. The sales rep was very good and I let him do his thing as I already knew pretty much. They run the same way as my other one did.

The stairlift helps and it's perfect. I certainly would recommend it.

The Bruno stairlift is awesome and it couldn't have come at a better time. My husband is 100% disabled and his cancer has already taken its toll. We have a bi-level and we have two sets of steps that you have to come up from our basement garage. He couldn't do it anymore. Bruno is worth looking into and I gave some of the brochures to mom and dad’s pastor because she was asking about something like that for the church.
