I can't walk and I moved into a condo where my bedroom is upstairs. I can either eat or I can live upstairs. But if I wanna cook and eat and sleep, I need to be able to get up and down the stairs. I called Bruno and they recommended a chairlift when they saw the space I had. They measured first and I saw that they knew what I needed to have. I have animals and they're up and down the stairs and Bruno was telling me this particular chairlift has cover over the chain and it prevents the hairs from clogging up going up and down. They said that for me this was the best fit and they gave me the amount it would be. Then, once the chairlift was installed, they had me get in it and go up and talked me through everything. They made sure I was comfortable with it and knew how to work the remote. They were very nice and very friendly. They're very good to have here.

My wife has advanced Parkinson’s and was having trouble with the stairs. Bruno was introduced to me and they're a good company. The guy came and he had a brochure. He talked about various things and the aspects of the machine. I thought about it for a day or two and then ordered it. He put the order in and a while later, he came and he did photographs and sent it off. Then, he sent me the plan of how it was gonna go and there were detailed measurements. I looked at it and thought it was not gonna work and I phoned him. He came over and he pointed out some things to me. Then, we went to the showroom and he had it set up. I looked at it and I realized that I had not taken something into account. I changed my mind and decided it was tight, but it was gonna work.

I moved my mother in with me so I purchased a stairlift from Bruno. I went with them because I had them before. My experience with their sales rep was good and he explained everything really well. The installation went well too. It went really smooth and they were on time. However, I'd like the bottom half to be automatic when it comes down to the bottom so it’s not blocking the walkway. But it’s good. It works well and I’ve always been happy with it. I'm very satisfied.

A stairlift is my only way of getting down the basement because I have shoulder surgery. I looked in the phonebook and called Stannah. They came out but they couldn’t do it at all. It was too narrow. Then, I called Bruno and they came out. Fortunately, they were able to put it in and the measurements were okay. The sales rep was extremely helpful and the installer was very good. The man even removed his shoes because he saw that the steps had been newly painted. I really appreciated that. The stairlift is perfect. It’s my way of getting to the basement and I love it. I tell people it’s the best money I ever spent. It enabled me to stay in my home and recover. I highly recommend it.

When our Bruno Stairlift comes up, it hits pretty hard n the top rack. Despite this issue, we've had a good experience with the company. Their rep did a good job during the sales visit and their installers thereafter were really good too. We were having a hard time getting up and down the steps and getting the stairlift has made it much easier for me to get up and down. I highly recommend them.

My mom can’t walk up and down the steps and the Bruno stairlift was awesome. The gentleman who came with the young man shared his experience and the joy he got out of installing these things to help people get up and down the steps and move around. He was good. Once they laid the pieces out, and got all the pieces laid out and the stuff set up, it took them no time to put it in. We had an experience where we couldn’t figure out why it was beeping and I called the gentleman back, and found out there wasn’t no life on the battery. He determined that it might be something with our electricity and we figured it out without having come back out.

My father-in-law is wheelchair-bound and he couldn’t do the steps. It was very hard for him and we wanted him to be able to come. We’re Jewish and Shabbat is the one day a week that we’ll spend together. He loves to come to us and we built a bedroom for him. He needs 22 steps to get in and he wasn’t able to do it. So, we were going to him but he was a half hour away from us, which was too much for my little ones to walk in the middle of the night. So, we purchased the Bruno and this way, he can come without doing the steps. He came one week and it was really good. It was amazing that he was able to come up without climbing all of our steps. The experience has been good so far.

A couple years ago, I was in a nursing home and I had to have a stairlift installed in my breezeway. My wife bought me a Bruno, so I bought her one, too. Bruno's rep came in and put it in. He was very nice, polite, professional and clean. On the day of the installation, he came right on time and he finished it when he said he would. Then there was a demonstration on how to operate it but having one before that, I knew how they worked. The stairlift has been perfect ever since and it has helped my wife a lot. I got her the straight one and I like that with it, she doesn’t have to walk up and down the stairs again. It’s nice, quiet, and reliable. The quality is excellent, too. I’ve also had a few problems with the one outside and Bruno's rep came and installed it right away. We had a very good experience with him.

I’ve got arthritis real bad and I’ve had both knees replaced. I fell in December and messed up my left knee and I wasn’t able to bend it. I was in a brace for six weeks and then it was another four weeks of trying to heal it. After I got to where I could walk, I found out that the fall had messed up my back too, so I ended up having to have back surgery. Later during Memorial weekend, I fell and cut my right knee open real bad. I hadn't been able to go up my stairs since the 15th of December. We had thought about getting a stairlift before, and I decided to go ahead and get one from Bruno. I had checked out a couple of places, and I went to Mobility of Chattanooga, Tennessee. They had a big step where you could check the stairlift out to see how it worked, and I liked the fact that it folded up like it does. The lady was wonderful. She explained everything and every question I had, she answered it.

I like our Bruno stairlift. It works out really well. It was getting harder getting up and down the steps but now, both my wife and I can get up and down the steps on hot days. I'm happy with the stairlift and I would tell anybody about Bruno. When the representative initially came out, he looked at the steps. I told him what we thought that we wanted and he agreed. We have switchback stairs so we needed two short runs – a seven-stair run to get to a platform and then another one on the other side of the platform to go to the second floor. We have a stair without the exterior wall. It’s basically an open stairwell so he agreed that was the best way to do it. Once you get to the first landing, you just stand up, take a step, turn around and then sit on the second chairlift and go up to the second floor. He said it would also be easier to get the pieces ordered if we did it that way.

I'm old. I have bad knees and I can’t make steps. I decided to buy a stairlift and the man from Bruno in Winsford came up and did all the measuring. It was really terrific and he was the nicest guy I wanna meet. Since I live in a bi-level house wherein I go up six, seven steps and then up another seven, I got a curved stairlift from them. The man who measured came back and put the stairlift in in about three hours and it was no mess. Now, I can go up and down on the lift and it really saves me a lot of pain. I'd tell others about Bruno.

Climbing the stairs became a problem for us as we got older. We have friend who used Bruno's stairlift and they found it very satisfactory. We decided we’d follow suit and their sales rep was very good. He measured our stairs up, told us what the stairlift was gonna cost and when they could put it in. We got an indoor, straight stairlift from them and the crew that came to install it was very nice. We had to add a process where we can lift the arm up at the bottom because it stuck out into the walkway too much. Even so, it was very convenient and the crew knew how to solve the issue. Thus far, the stairlift works well and it gets us up and down.

We needed to make a decision about the stairlift, and we decided that that was the way we needed to go for our house. We stopped by Bruno because they were highly recommended in the area. They came out nearly immediately, within a day, to assess the viability. The sales manager was able to describe the differences between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit, and then suggested that the indoor unit was gonna be just fine. They came back and said, “You’re perfectly good. This is the way it’s gonna look.” Within a couple of days, they had the standard unit out there. The installation was excellent. They allowed me to watch while they installed it so I knew some of the idiosyncrasies. If anything were to go wrong in the future, I’d know what to do. It was an expert installation, and we’re 100% satisfied. It can’t get any better than that.

The stairs are too hard for me. I’m alone and I’m using a cane or walker. I had a chair going downstairs in my house for about eight years and I had to have it removed because my laundry room is downstairs and I needed a new washer and dryer. So the chair and the rail had to be removed in order to get the new washer and dryer in. I’m also having a difficult time going upstairs in my house so my son had Bruno look at the stairway at the time. My house is older so the stairways are narrower. They determined what I could use and gave me a price. They were very accommodating. The people from the sales visit were excellent.

My previous chair was much better for me. It had more padding on it, but it probably wouldn’t last as long as the one from Bruno. But the chair from Bruno is too big for me. The arms of the chair are far away from my sides. So when I get up to the top of the stairs, I have to spread my arms out and put as much pressure as I could on the arms to give me strength. It’s not a good safe feeling for me. The arms of the Bruno chair is so thick, and it’s plastic and not padded like the other one that I had. Also, the seat is very shallow. It seems as if you’re gonna fall out from it. And for the legs, you can barely get your feet on them.

Because of a medical condition, I ended up buying a stairlift. Our friends had the same Bruno chair and they were very satisfied so we went with the referral. The reps came and they were very polite and helpful. They answered any questions I had. The big selling point was that the stairlift was made in the United States. I got a straight one and because I have a very old house and the staircase is not as wide, it fit perfectly. The installers did a great job. All in all, I had a very pleasant experience with them.

I had no luck with the stairlift I bought before. It was only $4,500 and the whole thing broke down. I had it for two years and I had nothing but trouble with it. I also couldn’t reach the owners. I couldn’t even reach where they were established. It sounded like a fly-by-night institution. Many times, I had to walk up 17 steps to my apartment, which I am really not capable of doing. I have very bad knees and I had to hold on to the railing to pull myself up. That happened for four weeks. So I was really in agony. My son told me to get the Bruno like I had heard about once and for all. He pointed out that because I didn’t wanna spend that money, now I was gonna have to spend twice as much money by getting a Bruno.

I saw Bruno at Safe at Home and they referred me there. The sales rep was real good and very informative. The installers were real nice and they cleaned up after themselves. I had a straight stairlift indoors, and it's real good. I can get around the house better with it. I really like the whole set-up, but I wish they took it all the way up and curved it because I still can't get up to the top of the steps. But overall, I would refer them to a friend.

We went to North Georgia Mobility's office, and I like the people that I dealt with there. They had a real nice office and they had all this literature on the Bruno. They explained it to us, and it had a good guarantee. We liked the presentation that Tracy did. So we went with them. When the service fellow came out to install the stairlift, he seemed to really know his business. He took time to explain how it worked and installed two different motions. So, if it was downstairs and you wanted it up, we could bring it up, or if I go downstairs and then if my husband needs it, he can mash the little transmitter, and it comes back up to him. We like that feature. We were well-pleased with the service.

I needed a stairlift because I have problems going up and down the steps. I’m blind and I'm a fall risk. The PA Health Management helped me get the chairlift. I talked to the Bruno people while they were moving the stairlift in. I got up from my wheelchair, they took my hand and showed me how to maneuver the seat when I got to the top of the steps. They also showed me how to reach down and pull the lever up to turn my chair. I have the curved stairlift and when it makes its turn, I kinda feel like I’m on a roller coaster because it starts up slow. It is a good and smooth ride. The stairlift saves me from trying to find my way up the steps. The stairlift has made a change in my life. It’s hard on my knees now to go up and down the steps. With Bruno, I don’t have to walk down backwards. I’m very satisfied.

I have COPD Emphysema and I'm on oxygen. I decided to buy a stairlift and Bruno was the cheapest one there was. The installation was pretty good and smooth. It took about two and a half hours. The installers explained everything, made sure the stairlift works and had me ride it. It meets my needs.

I was looking and I saw Bruno in a new catalog and I was impressed with that. We got the indoor model and the installer was good. He was very efficient, very good and very likable. The stairlift is very simple and looks nice. It works very well. It's very high quality and we’re very happy with it. I'm very satisfied.

I got a straight Bruno stairlift for my mom to go up and down the stairs. I talked to a service coordinator from the Legendary Office and they managed everything. They sent a technician who made the measurements and after a week, people came back with the materials. They taught me how to use the stairlift. The stairlift is good for my mom. Before we had this, we had lots of problems guiding her. She needed two people going up and down the stairs. But with the stairlift, my mom sits and goes up and down and the stairs comfortably. I love the stairlift and right now, everything is working well.

I'm 82 and my husband is 85, and we both have issues off and on with walking. The time is going to come when we're gonna have major issues. We live in a two-story house and we didn't wanna move. When there's no more coming in other than social security, the cost of a stairlift is high but it is cheaper than moving and living an assisted living.

My experience with Bruno has been real good. I'm satisfied with it. My son guided me towards Bruno and the rep answered all the questions that we had. Everything went real nice during the installation. There was no mess. It didn’t take them any time hardly. I kinda thought it’d take a couple of days but it was just a couple of hours. They showed me how it worked too. I got on it and went through it. I also have the manual. It’s just a matter of sitting down and pushing the button and I’m up or down here. So, it works great. The stairlift is straight from the basement up to the kitchen area and it fits really well. It works good for me. Bruno has made my life much better. I was having problems with my knees going up and down the steps. Eventually I would get up there, but it’s nice to sit down and push the button and up or down you go. I really enjoy it. I would recommend Bruno.

My 96-year-old father was used to a single-level home, and when he moved in with me, he couldn't manage the steps. We went through the VA to get a stairlift and they chose Bruno. We got the straight stairlift and we had a minor misunderstanding on which side of the steps we wanted it on. So they had to come back and measure again, but it worked out fine. The ride has been smooth and the stairlift is doing very well.

It was getting harder and harder to get up and down the stairs so I purchased a stairlift. I researched a bunch of stairlift providers and Bruno seemed to be the better one. Their rep was a friendly sort of a person and he seemed to know what he was doing. The installation was very quick and complete. For my staircase, the stairlift is a little bit of a problem, but not bad. The stairlift could be a little smaller, but I don't know how they'd go about doing it 'cause mine's a curved staircase. Other than that, it's a very good product so far.

My husband is a 100% service-connected disabled and that's how we got the Bruno lift. But we had gotten in an accident where a young lady rear-ended us and tore it up. We were lucky enough that it was just the lift. He didn't have his chair on there. And our insurance company paid for the lift and we had it fixed. We wanted the same thing that he had on the vehicle when we got it. I've seen some of the other lifts and from the ones we've seen, the one that's made up there looks to be the best. The Veterans handled the first one. They had sent it to the Ewell equipment company, who were the ones that put it all. They're very fantastic with veterans too. They really helped in everything.

My mother-in-law came to stay with us and she had back surgery. But she’s not completely crippled. She can walk around but the stairs could be a problem with her. She’s 82 years old. So I put a chairlift in for her. She has used it for the last three weeks and she loves it. I think she’s gonna buy one for her house in the Florida Keys. We also got a seatbelt that she did not use, but she’s up and down. She’s sitting up in a chair and she could just step off into the stairs if she wants. It's also very easy to operate for someone who’s not mechanically inclined. She was up and down those stairs before you knew it. The chair is also comfortable. My mother-in-law is not a big woman. She’s small and she fit in there. The chairlift works for her and it works for me. Maybe some of these days I’ll need it too. I don’t know.

Having Bruno has impacted my life greatly. I can’t go up the steps. But now, I can join the rest of my family instead of just being down in the rec room all the time. The quality of the stairlift is very good too. It hasn’t broken down and it appears to be a good, strong and sturdy-made piece of equipment. It's definitely smooth when I ride it and I definitely feel safe in it.

My wife broke her back and she's in extensive rehab. And when she comes back home, I said that she probably would have a very difficult time ascending or descending the stairs. So, I installed a stairlift. We live in Vermont and the only stairlift provider within a 100-mile radius that I could figure out is the Bruno in about 25 miles in Richmond, Vermont. The rep came, showed me what he could do and why this particular model seemed to be appropriate for our needs. He installed two of them - one from the basement to the kitchen and one for the kitchen to upstairs. He did them both in an afternoon and he was efficient and did a very good job.

I read a lot of reviews, did as much investigation as I could, and that appeared to be the best one. It was not the cheapest but it was the best one as far as I could determine. I talked to a couple of Bruno dealers, and I chose the one that I liked the best by the conversation and the questions I asked them, the availability, and the price. And I picked the company that’s been around a while, the most responsive to my questions, and decently priced. They installed the stairlift, and they did it rather well and within the time limits that they had set.

I'm handicapped, I'm 92 years old and I can't walk up and down the steps. My neighbor next door has a stairlift too, but she called other different places. They gave her estimates and they were more expensive. So she called me and she said she thought Bruno was a good choice because it's less expensive than the other makes that they have. On the sales visit, the people who came were very nice and good. They were very knowledgeable and very helpful. The installation team were fast workers. They had the installation done in no time and they showed me how to use the stairlift. I got a straight stairlift and I'm very happy with it. It fits the stairwell fine. I have no problem at all and I like it that way. The quality is very good. I use it often now. I use that and I'm down there in no time at all, and I put my washer on and come back up. It works fine and it's very helpful. My experience with Bruno was perfect.

I looked for someone locally that had a showroom so I could try a stairlift out, and 101 Mobility was close to me. I ordered my Bruno stairlift and had it installed through them. I went to the showroom and met with the woman there who was extremely nice and helpful. I really liked her and she gave me a lot of information. I got to try different models. And then they had someone come out to my home. They looked at how the setup would be and explained the price. They were very informative and very pleasant to work with. The installer was one guy, and he was very professional and showed up on time. He didn’t take all day, did the installation very efficiently, and explained how everything worked and the maintenance to me. It went very well.

I have a bad knee and so I decided to get a stairlift. There was a local guy who’s been doing stairlifts for 20 years that had good references. Everything was fine during the sales visit. The installer was a nice guy. He was in and out in about two hours or so. I like everything about my Bruno stairlift. The only one issue that concerns me, and I was gonna call them here in a little while, but when you are going down, it switches to a higher speed after you get going. It speeds up at different times. One time, it would speed up as soon as you get one-step down. Another time, it would speed up when you hit the four-step down. And it’s not being consistent. Other than that, it’s fine. I’d recommend Bruno.

My dad had been in Morehead, Kentucky before and he had looked into Bruno. I’ve had a couple of friends down there that had it, and they were good with them. That’s why I went with it, too. Bruno's team guided me in all my options. They explained everything perfectly. I had wonderful people. The installation team was excellent. When they told me they would be here, they did. I had to get a door removed, put in a different place, and that took me a little while, and I got that done. But they were here at all times. I wanted a swivel to automatically swivel, it lets you off, and they didn’t realize that it didn’t. It took a week or so to get that in. After that, it was fine. I absolutely love my Bruno stairlift. I like the part of it turning around and letting you off. It's great being able to go down the stairs like that. I’ve already recommended Bruno to three people.

I love the Bruno stairlift. I couldn't afford something like that, but a friend of mine took the job over and some families that I know and some friends purchased it for me. I have about 10 stairs to get up into my house, and I have neuropathy. To get into my house, I was using my basement steps and that was going well until I just couldn't get up the last step. I had to hold on to something to get up the last step into my house, and it just wasn’t working anymore. I'm over 80 years old and I really needed the stairlift so badly.

Bruno was recommended by a family friend. We went to the store and the rep showed us the different lists and talked about the pricing. Then he set an appointment to have it installed. The installation was great. They showed up one afternoon and were done in about three hours. So far, the quality of the stairlift has been great. We haven't had any problems with it.

The other brand, Acorn, was very expensive. My son-in-law researched and came up with Bruno. There was a lady that came. And listening in a little bit, she seem to really know her stuff. She was very polite, answered the question with no problem and no hesitation. The installation team also came exactly when they said they would and put it in and cleaned up and were done.

I have trouble walking the stairs and I have pain in my back. Getting a stairlift was the only way to alleviate pain in walking the steps. My son-in-law did all the work out in getting a stairlift, and then somebody came to see the staircase. The Bruno stairlift is a blessing because I don't have to walk the stairs. It gets me up and down the stairs without any hurting of my back.

I like that I don’t have to try to go up the stairs and the ride is smooth. Also, the quality is good and I would give Bruno an A plus.

I couldn’t walk and I couldn’t get up to my bedroom. I decided to buy a stairlift and the VA picked Bruno for me. The sales rep was very thoughtful. He knew what I wanted to do and everything. He had me ride up and down to see if I can get up and down with the stairlift and I was able to. It comes up sideways with me sitting in it and then when I get in it, I can swing the seat around. In my house, the stairs are a little tight but I’m able to do it plus, the chair is comfortable.

I have bad knees and shortness of breath because I have AFib. As a result, I was having problems getting up and down the steps. I went to the VA and Bruno was the company that came and looked at my situation. Going with them went really well and the young fellow that installed it did a very good job. He was very knowledgeable and knew what was going on. He even showed me how to take the stairlift up on my first ride. Now, I have a straight stairlift up 13 steps. Overall, it's of good quality. I've been recommending Bruno Independent Living Aids to everybody.

Bruno stairlift works really well. The VA got it for me. During the installation, the crew took the time and patience to show me how to use it. It has been two months now and it has really helped me to get up and down from my basement to the main floor, and I really appreciate it. It's a straight stairlift and I'm satisfied with its quality. My dad needed a Bruno stairlift to go up the stairs to his bedroom. The people who did the sales visit were courteous and answered everything. He had the straight one installed and it was a pretty easy process. His favorite part of the stairlift is it makes him able to go up there.

I've been having trouble with my knees and my hips from arthritis, making me need to buy a stairlift. The sales visit went fine, the people who came were most helpful. During the install, the guys demonstrated how to use the stairlift. We have to turn it at the top, but at the bottom, it goes down pass the steps. I like my Bruno stairlift very much.

Bruno was the company that the VA recommended to us and so we bought a vertical platform lift from them. The reps who came to our home were very helpful and even went out of their way to get things expedited. They were absolutely fabulous. Then, the unit's installation went extremely well. My husband is still in the rehab so we haven't used the platform for him but we have already used it a couple of times for a couple of people. It could be a wee bit faster, but it has worked very well so far. I would absolutely recommend Bruno.

My wife is really ill with ovarian cancer stage four and she can hardly walk. Also, I was a military police for 10 years and US Marshal for 30 years. I’ve been through 14 different riots and each time I ended up in the hospital from injuries. So, my legs are in really bad shape. My wife and I are both on walkers or wheelchairs and we can’t go up or down the stairs without excruciating pain. The stairlift that we got from Bruno takes away all that pain, as far as that area of our house goes, and it would give us space that we couldn’t use because of our legs. It's very valuable to us and I wouldn't trade it for gold.

However, they ran into a complication because our stairwell is narrow. They told me what they needed to do so I won't be surprised. They had to take the rail off and a couple of things in order for it to work. So far, he likes the stairlift. He was always reluctant to go up and down the stairs, but now he's happy with it. I recommend Bruno.

Bruno's rep showed me everything I was gonna get. All their reps did was come, put the stairlift in and ask a few questions. I got a straight stairlift from them and thus far, I've had a good experience. However, I’m still having a little trouble getting up and down the steps because it’s hard for me to bend my knees back. The stairlift is not comfortable. I have big feet, and it’s hard to get them on the little footrest. Still, I recommend Bruno.

I have been ill and needed a way to get in and out of the house. Bruno had the best price and they seemed very cooperative. The lady I spoke to answered all my questions and ended up saving me money by coming, looking at the property and making a better suggestion than what I thought I wanted. The stairlift was gonna be a less expensive choice than what I had originally thought would be the best solution. I agreed and the deal ended up being really good.

My father is a vet and and he's 86. He's on in-home hospice and before, he could not make it up the stairs for a shower without getting his defibrillator set off. It would zap him. We decided to get him a stairlift and we had three estimates come in. Bruno was the lowest one and the VA chose them. They were awesome and we had a wonderful experience with them. From the time the one guy came in to take all the measurements, they were extremely professional and considerate of our living space. We’re smokers and we allowed them to smoke but they didn’t smoke in our house and still went outside.

We live on two floors. My husband had a stroke and needed to be able to get from one floor to the other. The VA chose Bruno and had the unit installed. The installers were very good and the installation went smoothly We're very pleased with the stairlift. We had a slight problem at the beginning though. It had gotten some liquid in it, but they immediately came and put a new board in. We haven't had any problems since.

My husband was having trouble walking up the stairs so we looked to buy a stairlift. The salesperson at Bruno was great. She gave me different options and we talked about elevators as well as chairlifts. I liked the weight that Bruno's stairlifts hold so I decided to go with them. Their installers were good and they demonstrated how it worked but then they left a mess. They scuffed up the space of my stairs so we had to do a lot of cleaning afterwards. They also took down a stairwell to do that. Though the straight stairlift I got sticks out a little bit more in my stairwell than I would have liked, it's okay. Overall, the stairlift is of good quality.

I can walk up the stairs safely but it's just painful so I wanted a stairlift that would make it a lot easier. We had a stairlift previously and it broke. It had to be taken apart but nobody could figure out how to fix it. My husband decided to just go with the new one which comes with warranty so we wouldn't have to worry. He looked at different stairlift providers and decided that Bruno is the best way to go. The installers came in and installed a straight stairlift indoors. They showed me how to use it. I sat in it, I went up, I came down and that was about it. I like the fact that I don't have to walk up the stairs. We've only had it a couple of months, but so far, it works the way it's supposed to and the quality is good.

Bruno's sales representative was very good and very helpful. He's a hometown man, and we felt he was reliable. He was referred to us from the bank. We got a curved Bruno stairlift and the installation process was good. The installers knew what they were doing, and they weren't here long. I can't go up the stairs without a stairlift, and the one we had on before we got our Bruno took up most of the stairs. Our Bruno stairlift is very good. It goes up the side of the wall and allows room for people that are walking to get up the stairs.

The sales visit with Bruno was a good experience. The representative explained everything well during the sales visit and was very informative. My husband is having difficulty walking right now and is in and out of a wheelchair. So we got a curved stairlift. But the part downstairs where you pass through the walkway from the door to the kitchen is kind of narrow now because the unit sticks out a bit. Sometimes, I forget it's there and hit my leg. So it would be good if it could have been in a little more towards the stair itself. I also didn't particularly like the drilling of the holes in the carpet because if I decide to replace it, it creates a problem. So it would be good if they can find a different way to tack it down. But I guess that's to make it steady. That aside, the installers were fast and they really did a good job.

My father purchased a Bruno stairlift before he passed away and my mother has had the stairlift for several years now. Then she had a leg amputated and is not able to get into a vehicle, so we purchased a Bruno Turny Evo chair recently. We had a very good experience with the representatives and it was really efficient. They were able to get us what we wanted. They were very professional and were very accommodating when the installation took place. The car was taken to their location in A&J Mobility, and they did the install at their facility. My mother loves the chair and she's comfortable. I like that she's comfortable in it and it's so much better than sitting in a wheelchair in a van. It's nice. She used to be stuck at home or we were depending on wheelchair van services before that. So, the best part is she's able to get out and around having the chair.

Bruno's rep was wonderful. She told me that I couldn't put it on another side that I wanted it on because the chair of the stairlift was too high and it wouldn't go by that side. Also, the curved stairlift I got from them goes right to the top of the stairs and stops. I wish it would go around the top of the stairs on the side that it's on. Still, the stairlift I got from them has been wonderful. It's all padded and has a really nice chair. It gets me up and down the stairs when I couldn't before.

I have difficulty in going up and down my stairs outside and so I decided to purchase a stairlift. A representative from Bruno came over to my house for a sales visit and it went fine. I got a curved unit and the team that did the installation explained everything such as how to take a ride on it. The stairlift's ride has been bumpy for some reason but the unit has made a big difference in my life. I used it yesterday because I had a doctor's appointment and it makes a world of difference not having to walk the stairs.

This company did their job and I appreciate what they did. They measured perfectly and got the chairlift just so it works beautifully in our basement. They had to really work carefully too because we have a narrow space to the bottom and also at the top but they did it. I'm amazed that they were able to get that accomplished. The two guys did a beautiful job. They got in there, got the work done and were out before we even knew. They didn't bother us at all. They were very good. The straight chairlift fits into the stairwell beautifully too.

I've had a couple of knee operations and my knees don't go up and down steps so good. I heard Bruno was the best and right off the bat, I made my decision to get them. They measured all up and then they came out to install. They looked like office workers though, not mechanics. Nonetheless, I had a good experience with them. It only took them an hour to put the curved stairlift in then two hours to put the straight one in. The stairwell has a curve going up to a landing then it goes on on up, and the stairlifts fit okay.

My husband and I are both old, and we purchased a stairlift for 100% safety. The salesman from Bruno and the gentleman who installed the stairlift were very good, polite and helpful. Bruno stairlift is a very good chair. I have a little dog too that’s getting old, and she’s having trouble making it up to the stairs. So, I just scoop her up, put her on my lap, and we go up. The stairlift saves me having to lift her because she’s not getting any lighter and I’m not getting any younger. So, we consider the chair an absolute blessing. It’s the best thing we bought. This is our one, big purchase and we’ve christened it our ninth wedding anniversary present for this year. So, it covers everything for us and we’re very happy with it. The quality of the stairlift is very good too, and it’s got a lifetime warranty on it. We would recommend Bruno stairlift to anybody questioning or talking about it.

I'm 89 and I have misgivings about going up and down the steps frequently. I decided to get a stairlift through the VA program. Three different individuals had come by to look the project over and then they submitted their bids to VA. The VA then solidified the bid with whoever they thought was the best out of the group and next thing I know, I had somebody from Bruno.

I have mobility problems and we had looked around and tried to move to a bungalow but we couldn't find anything affordable. The only option left was to modify our existing home and try to make it more manageable for me so I can get around. We spoke to several vendors and Bruno stairlifts were highly recommended. In addition to that, we did our own research, and people seemed to be happy with them, especially when we needed a curved one. While the straight stairlift is a little more straightforward, the custom, curved ones are more complex. And Bruno does a very good job with it.

I purchased a Bruno chair lift for my mother when she lived with me. However, I no longer need it and am going to sell my house, realtors advised me to remove it. To try and find a company to remove proved to be quite costly ($500). I tried giving it away. I e-mailed the distributor whom I purchase it from and offered it to them for either resell, parts or if they knew of some charity that could it, no response from them. I ended up having a relative take it off the stairs and will now take it to the dump. Seems a shame to have to dump this.

My wife and I are getting a little older. I can still get up and down but my wife’s knees are giving her trouble. Our washing machine-dryer is downstairs and we did not wanna move it upstairs and go through all that plumbing business so, we decided a stairlift might be the answer. We just wanted to get one and we saw that Bruno had a couple of places. Also, my wife’s mother had one up at the house and they used it up there quite a bit. Moreover, we didn't shop around for price and we thought we were getting a pretty good product there so, we called them and had them do it.

My old stairlift was put in 2000 and it was worn out. We had three estimates and the girl that gave me Bruno knew what she was doing and she gave us the best price. Most of the other estimates were much higher, in fact they were $2,000 more than what we paid. There were two guys who came and they worked together quite well until the younger guy had to leave early as he had some classes. The other guy finished it up by himself and did a good job. The curved stairlift that was installed doesn't stop on the steps, it brings me right around and puts me out on the living room floor. It is also very quiet and smooth. It's a lot different from the older one because the old one was noisy. This one, you hardly hear at all.

My Bruno stairlift is great. I don’t have to walk up and down the stairs anymore. The installation of it was fine and we had no problem.

I was having a hard time getting around in my house. My right leg is bad and my bedroom is upstairs. The company has sent Bruno and the guy who installed the straight stairlift was did a good job. I was guided through it all. My stairs are not so big and there's about an inch between the door as I go. Once I have passed the door, it’s three inches. But since the stairlift was installed, I don't have to walk upstairs anymore. My feet don't hurt too.

My grandmother had the stairlift from Bruno put in. She will be 99 years old on the 18th of this month. She has a bad hip, she had surgery and she couldn’t walk. I was there when the contractor came and he presented it to her. The main guy who installed the stairlift was great. He came back and inspected it. Everybody did everything they were supposed to. My grandmother got a straight down style and you gotta fold the chair down to get in it. She likes that she could get downstairs. From there if I’m upstairs, I can make it come up to me and I love it. The quality is awesome.

My experience with Bruno Independent Living Aids has been great. I couldn't climb the stairs, so I thought of purchasing a stairlift. I considered Acorn originally, but Bruno was local and the prices were a little cheaper with them. Their sales reps were nice and polite. The installation also went fine and it took the installers a whole day to finish. They showed me how to use the stairlift and made sure I wasn’t making any fatal mistakes too. With the stairlift, I can move up and down the steps, and that means a lot. I use it several times a day, every day. Overall, it was a good idea to purchase the Bruno stairlift. I'm glad I did it.

I purchased a Bruno stairlift and it made it easier for me to get up and down the stairs. I looked at the Bruno and the Acorn and decided they were both very good chairlifts. But in the end, I selected the Bruno. It doesn’t occupy as much of the stair. I researched the subject quite a bit, so I was familiar with the stairlift. And so, I called the company and said that I was interested. I had the dimensions of my stair, and I told them the rough size of it. The person I dealt with said they could do that with just a single stairlift. They make it in an eight-foot length. And so, I got a price, they gave me a written quote, and I decided to do it. I called them, they arranged then for it to be shipped. And once it was built, they made an appointment for people to install it to come out.

I share the household with my mother-in-law and for her to get up and down the stairs, I got her a stairlift from Bruno. Initially, I went with a different company and about a week to 10 days before I was due to move in and the installation date was set up, the company called me and said that they were going out of business and I had to find another company and they will refund me. When I asked them how long will it take to get a permit, they told me it will take at least two weeks. I asked them if we can transfer it over since we were a week away from installation. I was then told that they never ordered the permit. They knew that they were not gonna be able to install it at least a week ago and they just called me with a week to 10 days left telling me that it was physically impossible to get another company in here when we were ready to move in.

Bruno stairlift makes things easier. We are getting older, so we decided we needed a stairlift. The Bruno sales rep that came out was good and the interaction that we had went fine. We had a straight stairlift installed and it fits fine in our stairwell, and there is enough room. I like that the stairlift goes up and down. The quality of the stairlift has been good so far and the cost is fair.

A stairlift would make it easier to get up and down the stairs and my son made all the arrangements for buying one. The rep from Bruno was very good and we got a straight stairlift. It fits fine into the stairwell and does what I want it to do. The installation took half a day, and the gentleman was very nice and did a nice job.

My stairlift is of good quality. I’ve been using it every day and it works nicely and smoothly. I’m satisfied. I would tell my friends to get one if they need it.

The stuff that Bruno sells is good. The price was very reasonable and it also seemed like they had a better warranty. The representatives were good, too. I purchased two stairlifts, one for mobility for my wife and recently around Christmas time, I got her another one for going down the basement. The installation crew did fine. We’ve had some battery issue where the batteries had to be replaced. Bruno should give you reasons if you need to call like how the charger’s actually working and what some of the things mean, and when the copper tracks had to be cleaned. You should do maintenance on that, wipe them down, so you don’t get dirt and dust on them, to improve electrical connections.

I love the Bruno stairlift. I always start falling and getting hurt when I get down the stairs so we got it. It gets me up if I want to and gets me down when I need to come out. The reps were very good and they got the chair in and put it all down. They let me try it out and made sure it was all right for my demands. It took a couple of hours to be installed. I’m set with it and it was built well. I’m gonna get good wear and tear out of it.

My mother-in-law couldn’t get up and down the stairs and we were looking to purchase a stairlift. Bruno was a local group and they seemed fine. I called them, they gave me a quote which I liked, and then they came and put in the stairlift. The lift works fine.

The Bruno stairlift was offered through ThedaCare at Home, which is a home nursing and home equipment, durable medical equipment service that our local medical organization has. I called ThedaCare at Home and asked about the stairlift and the rep told me to call a certain number and ask for Ryan. I did that and Ryan happened to be at the building when I called. I talked with him, and he said he would come up to take a look, which he did. He showed me some pictures and gave me a brochure.

My mother was needing a stairlift and due to the local dealer that's near me, I decided I'd get a Bruno stairlift. If I needed the guy to service the unit, which I've already had, I could call him. Everything was good during the sales visit and the rep who came seemed knowledgeable. I got the straight stairlift and it fits on our stairwell. The team that did the installation was here for 45 minutes and then they were gone. The stairlift has been good so far. It's adequate for what we need and I'm satisfied.

My wife could no longer climb the stairs very easily because of her illnesses. So, we decided to put in a chairlift. She does very well with it, and I use it some of the time myself. We’ve had it now since sometime in December and we haven’t had any problems with it. We bought it from a company in Rochester. We had to have the extension of the track installed because it comes down into an area that’s near the front door and we don’t want anybody to fall over it. So, we had to have that installed as part of the deal and it works okay. The cost is a little high but we’re satisfied with it.

The rep came twice although I’m not too local to their office and it’s a good hour and a half drive from their office to where I am. He came down once and went over stuff with me, answered questions, and checked everything out. Then, when I decided to purchase the stairlift, he came back a second time to do the photography and the measurements.

My husband fell and broke his leg. He has a rod from the knee to the hip and there is no way for him to go up 13 steps. Fortunately, somebody suggested that we get a stairlift and that I can get it through the VA. The VA got three estimates and they picked Mobility who then put in Bruno. When I told my daughter that the stairlift is Bruno, she said that it is one of the best ones so I was glad.

Then, two guys worked on it on my truck and I really liked them. There was an incoming storm while we were loading this chair up on my truck and all of us got soaked. So far, the chairlift is sturdy enough for what it’s used for and I like its quality. I also like that I don’t have to load the wheelchair in the back of the truck. But I don’t ride my wheelchair on the lift because the metal doesn't look that thick and I don’t wanna bend it up.

The Bruno rep was friendly and willing to help. I got the straight model and the guys that installed it were great. They did it in three hours and then demonstrated how it works. We use the stairlift every day and it's fine. I had a stroke and it's made it easier for me to get around.

My husband has Parkinson's and the military approved of the Bruno stairlift. The reps explained everything to us and it all sounded like what we wanted. We got the curved stairlift and it fits the stairs very well. The installers demonstrated how it works before they left. Now it's very easy for my husband to get around. He likes the safeness of it and not having to do the stairs. It also feels very sturdy.

The installation team was perfect, too. They took care of everything. We got a curved stairlift and it fits the stairwell very well. It’s very substantial and it has made it possible for my husband to access the upper level of our home without suffering through a large number of steps. The stairlift also made it very easy for him to go up and down and get out of the house. He feels very comfortable when he is riding in it.

My husband is a veteran who had a hip surgery and prostate cancer and has a pacemaker. We have stairs to our basement where we have a washer and dryer and it's easier to use a lift than walking since it's almost really hard to walk. The salesperson explained everything and the installer was a nice, young man who did a great job. For older people to deal with someone like that is good, and Bruno's got a good product too. The stairlift works fine and I use it a little bit even though I can still walk down the stairs. My husband uses it primarily. He'd got out of breath with the pacemaker and the hip thing he had 2 or 3 years ago, but the stairlift just makes a difference in the stamina that his body has. I also haven't seen him have any problems with it. So, Bruno has been excellent.

It is excellent in quality. The installers took five hours to install everything. Having the Bruno stairlift affected my life superiorly. I recommended it to a friend and he bought one.

I'm 100% disabled, I'm in a wheelchair, and I just can't get around. I went to the VA and they sent 2 or 3 people out to look at putting in a stairlift and get the lowest bid. Bruno was chosen and they have done exactly what they're supposed to do. I was sitting in there while they were doing all of the work. They did it really fast and I thanked them when they finished. They were really professional and they did a great job. I got a big house and a large basement so the stairlift either takes me down or puts me back up. It pulls me out of the basement and I can step down the front door and step. I'm satisfied with Bruno.

We had a sales guy from Bruno come and take a look at the stairwell where the stairlift was to be in. We knew it was a good product because we heard good things about it from the people at Baywoods. We also felt confident with the sales guy. The team who put up the straight indoor stairlift did a good job. The installation went smoothly. In fact, there were a lot more stairs available than we thought there was going to be. The installers also did a demonstration of how it worked. While the stairlift is functioning well, we've got some problems that the guys from Bruno are trying to fix. The rail makes a popping noise and they still haven't figured out what it is. Although, they said it's safe to ride on. Also, Bruno has great customer service.

Last January the VA purchased a scooter from Bruno for my dad. He’s using the scooter quite a bit, and we got no problems. However, we got a problem with the lift on his wheelchair on the back of his truck. It was installed for about three hours. But when we started to go out of our place, it drags on the pavement going out of our driveway. You can’t go out the driveway without it rubbing on the ground and you can’t go over speed humps. The hitch they put on for the lift is pointed downwards, something about like three inches. If they could raise it up in any way, it would be appreciated.

As a necessity, we had a Bruno stairlift installed in my mother's home. It was recommended by someone who already had a unit from Bruno. They have already used theirs for upwards of a year and they were happy with theirs. We got a straight, indoor stairlift. Even before we had it installed, it seemed to be a quality unit. The installation experience was fantastic and the rep was a great guy. He explained everything, hooked it up and cleaned everything as well. He was in and out. He also demonstrated the stairlift. My parents were put on it and they rode up and down on it. He showed them the safety features and how to operate the stairlift. The stairway is narrow and with the chair there, it takes a little getting used to when you have to walk by if you’re not using it but there is no issue. I like that it gives my parents the ability to stay in their home. I would recommend Bruno.

I like Bruno's overall value. I felt like for the money I was gonna spend, I was getting a superior product versus some of the competitive set. Also, the distributor in this market was very attentive, personable, and trustworthy. I got an indoor curved stairlift from them. I have a 90-degree turn in my stairs so like six or seven steps of landing and then up the rest of the way. The installation was great. A couple of guys came and knocked it out in six hours type of deal. They were very professional so everything was good. It's a stout unit. I’ve said to a couple of my buddies it’s like they dismantled an aircraft carrier and took the metal off of that and made this stairlift out of it.

The people in the Bruno showroom were very accommodating and excellent. My husband and I went and tested it out. The guys who came and did the installation were just terrific. We had an older one that failed which they had to replace. They came and demoed the old one. It was a little tricky ‘cause getting it outta the stairs and out through the house without damaging any part of the house took some doing. But they were very careful and respectful of our home. Everything about the install was extremely professional and thorough. They cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. I appreciated all their efforts in trying to make sure that they didn’t stink up the house with chemicals when they put it in ‘cause I was worried about that. There was some residual of something for about a day or two, but that was it so everything was fine.

The rep from Bruno was great. I called him a couple times because we redid the walls going down the staircase and didn't finish the rest of it. But they did a really good job of explaining things. I just wish it could go further into the basement so it would be out of the way for everybody. We got a straight one and the installation team was very efficient about it and didn't leave any mess. They explained thoroughly on how to use the chair so that my mom understands.

We had a choice between Bruno and another company. I liked Bruno's availability and how quick they were able to get to us so we decided to go with them. I also did a lot of research and based on the comments from previous customers, a lot of people were satisfied with Bruno. The experience with the rep was great. The gentleman who came over and took the measurements of the stairs had a great personality as well as the installers. It took three hours for them to do the installation. They took us through and showed us all the key safety features and the maintenance on the equipment. They showed us how often we should lubricate the teeth and what to use to wipe it down with.

I bought a stairlift 10 years ago for my husband because I live in a two-story house, and I have steep steps. Then I am 88 and I just felt that I should use a chairlift so that I don’t fall down the steps. I couldn’t carry things unless I’m sitting so I really needed the lift. Thus, it was time to get another one. I had a person who removed the old stairlift and put the new Bruno in. He was very accommodating. I really appreciated how well he put it in and how kind he was to me. I got the model that goes from the bottom to the top in one, straight line. I’m satisfied and happy with it. I feel that this is one of the most important medical helps I have in the house. The fact that I can live in the whole house would be my favorite thing with Bruno. If I wouldn’t have the stairlift, I’d either have to move areas or my bedrooms downstairs, or I’d have to go into a retirement home. That stairlift is what’s been keeping me at the house.

My mobility has been impaired by some operations, which affected the nerves in my feet and my balance. So going up and down the stairs from the first to the second floor of our house became pretty difficult, if not, impossible. We went with one local stairlift firm in the Dallas area who tried three times to install a different system. The manufacturing was done in Europe and they failed three times. They kept making mistakes with the measurements that were taken in order to manufacture the chairlift and install.

Bruno came through the Department of Veterans Affairs. I told them what I wanted and that was what I got. The installation took a bit. The two original installers moved their original equipment to put the stairlift in. They said it was their first time to install that particular piece of equipment. They left a box of parts behind then they came over the next day and completed it.

My father has Parkinson's disease, and he could not get up and down the stairs any longer. I was told that Bruno stairlifts were the most sturdy in terms of handling the most amount of weight. Also, we have two turns in our staircase, so the stairlift we were getting needed to turn two times. We went with Bruno and we were happy with our experience with them. The provider that we used installed the stairlift very quickly and seemed to be very efficient. It was expensive but it seems like a quality product. It was $12,000 to install it. I expected that it would be relatively expensive because we have two landings on our staircase so it was not as straightforward as some people's stairways would be. Still, the one we got is sturdy and runs smoothly.

My dad was having trouble with climbing stairs. He's a VA patient and they recommended getting a stairlift. We then went for one from Bruno and it has been helping him a lot. We got the lift in a timely manner. Their tech Mike, who was very polite, took a lot of time and had to do laser customization going up the stairway. The lift fits the stairway really well. Now, my dad is able to do the steps when he couldn't before.

My mom and my dad are in their 80s. My dad has complained to me that the thing he liked the least about getting old is that he couldn’t get bathed as often as he would like to. And the reason he couldn’t do that is because the sole bathroom was on the second floor. With all the things my dad did for me in life, I wanted to give him a little payback. I invested in a chairlift so he could ride it up and down the stairs and get bathed as often as he wanted. Also, I knew that my mother would be shortly behind him in having the same mobility problems.

My wife has severe back problems and we worked through a country agency that took two different bids, and apparently, the bid that won used Bruno. The sales reps we worked with were very helpful and professional. And even though we had some ideas as to the type of stairlift we were looking for, they helped and guide us.

The particular individual company that I dealt with went with Bruno. I prefer Bruno over the other particular brand because it's a stronger unit. I'm a one-legged individual and I had the unit installed in my vehicle. I let the individual company that installed the unit interact with Bruno. But I had them ask Bruno a few questions before they ordered it because I wanted to be sure that it could function in a certain way. They satisfactory passed on the information to me, and that was when I told them that I wanted to go with it. The electric motors of Bruno have more power. The other unit that I had, when it lifted my power wheelchair in, was dragging it real slow. The installers also had to weld the other unit that I have because it was breaking. The Bruno lift seemed to lift the chair faster and if you’re out in the rain, you wanna get that chair in your truck as fast as possible. Overall, Bruno stairlift has been fantastic.

I talked with the installer while he was putting the Bruno stairlift in and everything seemed fine. He did all the pre-measuring prior to getting this climber. Then once he got the climber in and up here, the job took him one day. It’s a two-story one. So it goes seven steps, makes a 180-degree turn and then goes up another seven steps. I have Parkinson’s and when I have a bad spell, I use it to help me get upstairs.

The stairlift was installed well (12/21/15) and worked well up until 1/30/19. Then a call was made to GAMBURD (who installed the unit) for service. The service technicians fixed the lift, but the bill was $1092.00. This is very expensive for a retired couple on a fixed income. We have only gone up and down about 50 times since it was installed. We only bought it in anticipation of my wife's limited mobility, but she really hasn't needed it yet.

I have cerebral palsy and had Bruno install my second stairlift from them. I had a fine experience with their salesperson because they fixed the straight stairlift to where it's better at both ends, which they didn't do before when they came and replaced my previous one. Now, the one I have has about seven steps and it's working fine.

My husband is an amputee and we live on the second floor. And the VA recommended the Bruno stairlift. The rep that came here was very informative and he knew what he was talking about. He showed us what the stairlift would look like and told us all about it. We were very happy with the sales experience. Then the installers came and put the stairlift in. They demonstrated how it was gonna work and then they were gone. It is curved and it fits great in our stairwell.

I’m 85 years old and I was going up and down my steps bringing Christmas stuff up and down. I got weak and shaky, and jittery on the steps. I had been thinking about getting a stairlift for quite some time and then I thought I would do it before I fall. I have to go down my basement steps in order to get to my garage, to my car, so I did it to be safe. I called Bruno and they explained everything. They also gave me a pamphlet so that I could read up on it.

Since installation July 2016 this lift has malfunctioned. I am a senior citizen and beginning to think Bruno is taking advantage of that. I have numerous emails reporting malfunctions, many with the installer who referred me to Bruno. Lift now stuck in mid-range because I got stuck in it for 2 hours waiting for a neighbor to come home to get a ladder and let me out. The installer and Bruno now want me to pay for a technician to come out and fix a problem despite the fact that the lift has not worked properly since installation. The top of the mechanical box was never put on properly as it is askew. Mechanic's oil was spilled on my steps and concrete and not cleaned up. Screws and screw holes are rusty. Why do I have to pay for a technician to come fix a problem that has not been resolved since installation? I certify that this review is based on my own experience and is my opinion of this business.

Marie and her sister are 94 and 95 years old and they are independently living in their home. I assisted in getting them up and down the steps, although they can do the steps completely by themselves. I had used Bruno for a funeral at our church. We already had contact with the company and we knew the idea of paying for the stairlift and then if a person pass, it can go back to the company. I was there on the day of the installation as well as the scheduling to set the chair up and the tech was wonderful. He told me what he needed and we just sat there while he did the work. They got the straight type and it fits perfectly within the stairwell. The remote piece of it is fabulous.

We got a son that has bone cancer in his legs and he has a room upstairs. People were saying that they were good at advertising and selling but not that great at following through with the service and things of this nature. We live in the Rochester, New York area and went to two different spots. We saw three different types of chairlifts and I came back and checked more on the computer. Bruno’s reputation and things that I saw in there were stellar so, I went with them.

My husband is disabled and the people from VA sent the Bruno stairlift to us. We have one indoor and then, we have a lift in the garage. It was installed one afternoon and quality-wise, it is excellent. We like the stairlift very much and it made it easier for my husband to go up and down the stairs.

My husband has been very sick and he got the stairlift through VA from Bruno. The installers were wonderful, very efficient and polite. It took them an hour and half to get the straight stairlift installed. Since having it, it has made my husband’s life easy. Now, he can go up and down the stairs. I got quotes from several stairlift companies and all the prices were in the same range but Bruno’s high consumer confidence rating made us choose them. I got in touch with the local distributor and left him a message on his answering machine. He got back to me within an hour and he came out the very next day. It took only a few days later for him to schedule the installers and they were done in a couple of hours. The installation was done well and efficiently. The chair seems to be working quite well but the stair seat doesn’t stay up properly at the top of the stairs. We just put the seatbelt on there and that keeps it from flopping back down.

My mother can’t walk and I only have a bathroom upstairs. Also, the bedroom is upstairs. So, in order for her to be able to access things in my home, we needed the chairlift. When I looked it up, Bruno Independent Living Aids got some of the best reviews. I called them and they set up an appointment. The salesman came and brought a sample and when the salesman came, that was the one that we went with. But it would’ve been more helpful if they have brochures with the price breakdowns and everything in them because then I could’ve made the decision much more quickly. Other than that, the installation was fine. I was not at home when they did it and I came home and it was done. We had a straight one installed and it has impacted my mother's life greatly. She has recommended it to one of her other friends.

My husband had a stroke and he wasn't able to walk. He can't do the steps so we had to have a stairlift put in to make it easier for him to have access to the basement. Our VA chose Bruno to do it and we had a curved stairlift installed. We had two gentlemen who did a good job putting it in. The installation went great and it was efficient. The stairlift though is a little wider than what we expected. Our stairwell is not wide so even with the seat folded up, we still do not have enough room to get down the stairs. Nevertheless, we are very happy with the stairlift. It is fantastic and just what we wanted. It’s made my husband's life easier so he can be downstairs to sleep.

The team that came in here were nice people and they knew what they were doing. They went no time at all putting it in. Bruno was the stairlift that was provided to me by the VA. It’s a straight up and down and it fits good in the stairwell. I’m very happy with it. The installers came in one afternoon and they had it installed in five hours. The stairlift is working good and it has made it easier for me to get up and down the stairs. This year, I had three surgeries including hip surgery and gallbladder surgery, and I had a pacemaker put in. The doctors thought we should have a stairlift if we go into the family room, which is in the outside level, and if we have to go up into the kitchen to get into the rest of the house, and that’s about five steps up. The garage is downstairs too so we use this stair thing quite a bit. We have a slow boy and he likes it too. I would recommend Bruno to anybody.

I have 15 stairs going from the first floor to the second floor, and it was either get a stairlift or have a knee replaced. Bruno has a representative in Philipsburg, which is where I live. The first man that came did the measuring, and he was very good. When the installer came, it was a rainy day so he couldn’t go outside and do it. He told me what he was gonna do, and with the car in the garage, there was no room for him to work there. He said he would be back the next day with all the pieces cut, and he did. He told me about the time he’d come, and he was very prompt getting here and getting it done. Since he had all the cutting done at the shop, it was just putting it in and screwing it down, so there was no mess for him to clean up. With the Bruno stairlift, I wish I had gotten it sooner. I use it and I really enjoy it.

We needed something to get my son, Michael, upstairs and we went with MEDIchair, the provider that we’ve been using for years. We talked to Melanie and we got the Bruno stairlift. The fellow that they sent out for the installation was great, and he did it very quickly and neatly. He gave me really good instructions and we’ve had no problem.

My husband couldn't go up and down the stairs very well and neither could I. We’re 80 some years old and our legs wouldn’t do it. Our Veterans Administration chose Bruno for us. I would go up and down the stairs now and I do my laundry, which is downstairs, every Monday. We had a great experience with Bruno and I'd tell others to choose them.

I’m an amputee and I just had a heart pump put in, so I couldn’t make the stairs. Three companies came out and I liked Bruno. They’re the best. The salesman was very nice, polite and explained everything he was doing at the time. He knew their product really well and made it right for me. The stairlift is a straight shot and I love it. It has made my life a lot easier because before, I had to get up early in the morning and have my son-in-law carry me up the stairs in order for me to even go up. Now, I could do my own thing downstairs where I’m at and get on the lift whenever I want. We got a very narrow stairwell, and it fit perfectly. Everything worked out fine and they did a fabulous job. I'd recommend it to anybody.

My wife had two back surgeries and double knees and I had one knee out. The 28th of November I had my surgery done and it was like a week before that when I got the lift from Bruno. They first got the wrong one. The chair was for the opposite side, so they had to reorder it, but they still got it done before I had the surgery. We got a straight indoor one and it's 17 steps up. It’s a 400-lb one with a bigger seat and a bigger base. The function is great and it’s convenient for a lot of things.

The Bruno stairlift has allowed me to stay in the house and I would recommend them. I have a balance problem, Charcot-Marie-Tooth and macular degeneration. So, I have a drop foot and climbing stairs is difficult. I have two Bruno stairlifts and they fit very well into the stairwell. The installer did a good job and had everything done in two hours. He works for the Fire Department and he does this in his spare time for the store. We have a little more of a problem in the basement because the stairs are a little narrower but it works okay and folds up. I like the new one a little better because it slows up when you reach the end and I wish it was on the old one.

I have neuropathy on my legs really bad and my house has two floors, and there’s a basement where my washer and dryer was at. The VA got a Bruno stairlift for me because I was having a very hard time walking upstairs. The installation team was very nice. They came in and did what they had to do. The stairlift helped me a lot and I didn’t have any problem with it. But at one time after it has been put in for so many months, it just stopped working. So, I finally called them and they came right out and fixed it. Their service was very good. I was very satisfied with them.

The Bruno sales reps were very, very nice, and we got the straight stairlift. The installation team was very nice and they were here all day. They did it quite well as far as we know. We haven’t had any problems with it. The stairlift was something we really needed, and we really couldn’t do without it right now.

My car is garaged at the basement and in order to get to it, I had to walk in this big and long stairs which was steep. In the wintertime, it was dangerous and the stairlift was the solution to take care of my need. The best thing the VA ever did was give me that stairlift because I was struggling to get up and down those steps and then going down the sidewalk. So, it was a lifesaver. They got a straight stairlift for me that goes straight down to the basement. The company that installed it was great but they had to come back once. It started beeping and it was another plug that goes into the power pack. It came loose and they followed up with it.

I purchased a Bruno stairlift while my husband was in the hospital. It goes up one flight and then curves around and goes up about five steps. It’s straight and then it’s curved a little bit, and then it’s up a few steps. The stairlift's installation went well and the installers who did it were pleasant and cooperative. They were very nice too. And while I wasn't pleased that it took longer to get the stairlift than I thought it would, we managed so everything's fine. I like my Bruno stairlift.

I have issues with my lungs and I get breathless when I climb the stairs. The contractor that we hired recommended Bruno. The installation went smoothly, and the stairlift seems to be working fine.

My daughter surveyed and found Bruno. They did great and they did a clean job during the installation. I love the stairlift. It makes me feel more free, more moveable, and more mobile.

I had back surgery, and I’m still having some problem taking the stairs. There are seven stairs going from the kitchen upstairs. So I had a problem, and we decided we were gonna put a chair lift in. The sales visit from Bruno was very good. Everything was fine. They were very informative, and the price was right. We got a straight stairlift that goes up seven stairs. It fits our stairwell very well. We also bought the thing that pulls up out of the way. And so that was very nice and we’re very happy with it.

My husband and I are both disabled veterans. He is on the verge of losing his right leg and he probably should have had it amputated a year ago but he's a typical man. He is bullheaded. It was a service-related injury which happened during his time in the coast guard. The VA came in and they got him a stairlift. When the gentleman came out to do the measurements, he could not have been nicer and he was delightful. We have a rescue dog that is extremely skittish, very protective and blind. She remembered him. All he had to do was say, "Hi, baby," and she knew exactly who he was. Every time she heard his voice, she followed him around. He is welcome here any time and if any time he needs fishing lures, he can stop right on out. He knows where we live and he can give us a call.

I was unable to go up and down the stairs on my own. Bruno had a sales visit with me and it was very nice. The sales representative explained everything to me and then the installer came. Installation took no time at all. The Bruno people answered whatever questions I had and were very professional. The stairlift was very good quality and I'm happy with it.

I liked the cost of Bruno's stairlifts. I also liked their sales rep who was really excellent. I felt comfortable with him and I felt what he was doing was good. He was professional yet friendly. I got a two-piece stairlift that goes up to a flat area, with a second one going up to the rest of the house. The salesperson installed it. He came at about 10:30 and by 1 o’clock, we were up and running. Since getting it, I've found that it has been reliable. If somebody came to me and said they needed the chair lift for the stairs, I would definitely recommend Bruno and their sales representative.

My wife is incapable of going up and down the steps and I didn’t want a hospital bed downstairs. I called two stairlift dealers near our home and one responded right away. The representative showed me what they had and all the advantages and also the price and the delivery, and I was impressed with all of it except for the price. I was hoping it would be a lot cheaper, but that’s all right. We got a Bruno indoor straight stairlift and it fits very good into our stairwell. The installers were very efficient and knowledgeable. The install was complete in a couple of hours. But then one of the electrical cords was not lying down where it’s supposed to be in. It was up, where it shouldn’t be, and it wouldn’t work. So I called and they were here right away and took care of it. I’m satisfied with it and having it made life more convenient.

To get my handicapped sister and my mother up and down the stairs, I had a stairlift installed. Bruno has quicker response time and installation. Most of the purchasing was done on the phone. I gave the measurements to the gentlemen and two days later, they were putting the stairlift in. Everything was great. The stairlift is a lot slower than most, but it works. I'm satisfied.

I did most of the stuff on the phone and we got assistance from the Kentucky River government agency. They helped us purchase the stairlift by giving us up to $3,000 on it.

I couldn't go up and down the stairs to use the facility upstairs in our house where we have a bathroom and shower. The VA in Cleveland chose Bruno and the rep explained everything and told us the stuff. The next week or so, they were out. The installer came in by himself and put the whole thing together. It was great and he did a good job. He was a neat, professional man and he knew what he was doing. He was polite and explained everything when he was putting the thing together which he did in no time.

My husband has to use the walker and there is no way he can go upstairs without help. But we didn't wanna move, so we decided to buy a stairlift for him. I looked up Acorn Stairlifts online and saw all kinds of bad reports. They looked flimsy and I wasn't interested in that. Then I did a search and Bruno came up, so I took a look at them and I liked what I saw. I liked the reports, the reviews, and their rating. I also liked that Bruno was a family-owned business. I believe in that kind of stuff. But I was worried that maybe they didn't have a person who installed them nearby. So I went to a local dealer and there was somebody in town who could put them in.

I'm 89 years old and I had a brand-new hip put in. There were three stairlift providers that came in to appraise. I went with Bruno because their rep was the best one here. He was fantastic. He came from Pittsburgh and was here for almost two hours measuring everything. He also took pictures. The other two guys that came in just looked at the stairs and took shots of it. I asked if that's it and they said yes. The installers told us when they were coming and when they came, it took them two and a half hours to put it in.

Getting up and down the stairs is very difficult. I decided to purchase a stairlift and the VA recommended Bruno. I was very comfortable speaking with their sales representative. I got a curved stairlift installed and it fits greatly into our stairwell. It works very well. My experience was excellent.

The lift itself has a few minor problems but it could get straightened out. When you’re going down, it starts at one speed then, it would get down about four feet and it slows up. It’s faster coming up than it is going down. The quality is very good but I wish it worked a little faster. We’ve had it for a month and the reps from Bruno were the only people that we talked to but we’re very satisfied.

I fell on the stairs. I was looking at stairlift companies online and called several of them. The lady who owns the Bruno dealer called me back and we had several conversations. The night before the sales rep came, I was looking at other companies and saw that another dealer had a 25% discount. I thought it was the guy who was coming out to do my evaluation. I told him I was glad I was online the night before because I saw that they had a coupon. However, he said they didn't have a coupon, so I looked up the other company and it was not him. He said he would call their owner as she might honor the coupon. He then called her and the owner said, "Absolutely." I bought a straight, indoor stairlift. It is exactly what I need, it gets me where I need to go, and it’s a safety measure for me. The chair is perfect and the company was good. I had an excellent experience and I would recommend Bruno.

My hip broke when I fell. At that time, I couldn't come home from rehab as I couldn't get in my house. So, my husband and my other son Bryan decided to purchase a stairlift for me. Currently, I'm having a terrible time with my insurance company as the doctor put chairlift instead of stairlift on the prescription. I got a phone call in for him to write another one. Still, we appreciated Bruno getting out to our place in a timely manner so I didn't have to stay over at rehab. We bought two straight stairlifts from them and their installers who came were very professional. They took their time and made sure everything was right. From the time they left, the stairlifts have been working fine. Getting the straight stairlifts was cheaper than those that are custom-made going around the corner. Having them has gotten me up and down the stairs.

I bought the Bruno stairlift through the Veterans Administration. They installed the stairlift beautifully and did an excellent job. I used to get so out of breath walking down and trying to get up the stairs but since I had the stairlift, it’s so much better now. I’d recommend Bruno and I thank them immensely for everything their people did for me.

We got the Bruno straight stairlift from the A1 Mobility representative. We needed it to go up and down our stairs because everything that we do for laundry and so on is in the basement. Plus, we are both getting older. The one who set it up did a great job and they did it quickly. The stairlift works well but it might be a little convenient if the chair would swing to the right and not just to the left. They said it was because of safety reasons but it was not a big deal. We’re very happy with Bruno and people should buy one. They’re very reasonably-priced and we’re having good luck with it.

I was in an accident 28 months ago and I got to the point where I couldn’t get up and down the stairs to the restroom. I had to do something so I checked all the stairlift companies. The biggest thing for me was the cost and to get one that goes around while looking at $1,800. I shopped four different places and I ended up with Bruno Stairlifts. I could get over from one seat to the other so that wasn’t that much of a problem because I had to turn a big corner on my stairway.

Bruno was recommended to us and my daughter has dealt with them. She also has had a good relationship with them. She has a scooter that she uses and she bought it from that store. Bruno has all kinds of things for the handicapped in that store. I also bought one of these chairs which we call eject-a-chair. Working with the Bruno staff was very nice. I like them a lot and I trust them, that’s why I went back.

We initially bought a stairlift for my son, who is in a wheelchair but I've been using it too because I fell and broke my hip. Kevin, the guy who did some stuff with my son's wheelchair recommended Bruno. Working with him and the man that helped him put the stairlift up was great. They were very friendly and nice. I haven’t been upstairs for a month and a half after I broke my hip and with the stairlift, I’ve been able to get up there. Having it made things a lot easier.

I have an inability to walk up and down stairs. Bruno was carried by the local large healthcare provider. They don’t handle any other companies or lifts, they just decided to stay with Bruno because they found it was the best. The Bruno sales rep was very positive. He did a quick assessment, spoke very frankly, told me what the cost was, and he was close, within a hundred bucks. I had a straight stairlift installed and it fits perfectly on my stairwell. The installer was a professional and he was done in less than four hours. He showed me how to use it and then he watched me while I tried it out. The state inspector was there at the same time, so everything was certified and everything was good to go.

My husband and I both have trouble going up and down the stairs. He’s 85 and he falls a lot. He walks with a cane or with a walker sometimes. The VA thought that he should have a new stairlift and they chose Bruno as the provider. The Bruno team was very nice, good, and very courteous. We enjoyed them coming. For the installation, they called and came in the morning. Two men went on their way and took out the old one then installed the new one. They explained everything to my husband particularly that the stairlift has a different track than the other track we had. But the other one did the same thing and was even a little faster. The new Bruno stairlift is very slow going up and sometimes my husband is in a hurry to get up to the bathroom. Still, we are thankful to have it and we’re pleased with it. We would recommend Bruno.

We just bought a new two-story house. My wife needed mobility upstairs as she is in a wheelchair and so we decided to get a stairlift. I did my research and we ended up getting a straight indoor stairlift from Bruno. They are like the Cadillac -- low service needs. Also, I knew the local dealer. The people who came for the sales visit were very knowledgeable and we had great interactions with them. They solidified my decision to go with Bruno with what they said, especially on the service side. Then, the guy who did the installation was great -- he was very un-intrusive during the whole process, which took a couple of hours. The stairlift's remotes are nice, up and bottom. I also like the fact that there is a lot of safety features built into the stairlift. I thought that the unit would be a little tighter to the wall, but it is fine and we are happy with it. I have already recommended Bruno to others.

The only way for John to get in and out of the house is through a stairlift. He went to the VA and they got him a straight stairlift from Bruno. Before its installation, very nice and courteous people came out and checked the situation to make sure that they could put the unit in. The crew that then did the installation was very nice and helpful. They did the job in two hours and they did great. The stairlift has made a big difference in John's life. It is a good piece of equipment and it fits our stairwell well. He uses it all the time and with it, he can get in and out without having to depend on somebody to help him.

I'm getting unstable and my daughter insisted on getting a stairlift. The people from Bruno were very nice. The installation went quick and easy. The stairlift runs nice and it's a great little item.

I’m 88 years old and I got disabled where it’s difficult for me to walk, especially bringing up the groceries. I got a Bruno chairlift through the VA outpatient clinic and the installation took less than a couple hours. The chairlift was very efficiently put in and it works like a charm. The installer was very efficient, polite and went through everything with me. The different features as well as how the remote control they sent with it works was explained, but I'm still getting familiar with those.

I am very happy with my Bruno stairlift. I have COPD and it really tires me out sometimes going up the stairs. Then, if I do it twice in a row, it would hurt. With the Bruno stairlift, I don’t have to walk up the stairs. I use it a couple of times a day every day and I like it very much. The installer who came was also very polite and a very, very good gentleman. He knew what he was doing. I was impressed by the short time that it took for him to install it which was a little over two hours. I’d recommend Bruno.

Kevin Rabe, the owner of Northend Mobility, suggested Bruno as the best stairlift provider. He was also my salesperson and he was good. He was very straightforward and he sold it to me. I was surprised that the installation was very quick. The two guys finished it in less than an hour. The stairlift has very good quality and I use it daily.

Our friends have Bruno's stairlifts and we thought they were nice. We decided to get a straight model and we had very good interactions with their rep. Their installers were very nice and after they put in, we have found that it fits very well in our stairwell. We like the convenience the stairlift provides us. It makes life easier and safer.

They told us how it was going to be installed, the ease of use and convenience and how stable and sturdy it is. The lift has met all of those milestones and surpassed a few. We got two straight stairlifts and they're very convenient, very small profile and the quality is very good. Plus, we can still use the stairs. The installation and sales team were the same guys and they were very knowledgeable and able to accommodate whatever we wanted. They also demonstrated how the stairlifts work. Now, I don’t have to carry my mom up and down 12 stairs and the lift has made her life easier. She has a lower level on our home and she has to come up to the main floor for breakfast and meals and with the lift, she’s able to transition. We’re very happy.

After hearing some testimonials and getting a referral from my daughter, I chose to get a Bruno stairlift for our home. I worked with their rep, Brad and everything went well. He was very courteous and he explained everything to my satisfaction. We chose to get a straight stairlift from them and thereafter, their installation team arrived on time as they said they would. When they were done, everything was cleaned up. They also went over the instructions on how to operate the lift. However, I have a problem with the rocker switch as I don't know if it stuck out far enough where it hooked onto some clothing that pulled it off. Ours broke off for some reason so the switch may need to be recessed a bit further. Nevertheless, we find that the stairlift fits well in the large staircase I had put in.

I have a bad leg so it's hard to get up the stairs. Bruno Independent Living Aids had a better reputation than Acorn so I chose them. Their installer was very good. He came right in and put the stairlift in. I got the straight type and the quality is good. It works. It goes up and down the stairs. Now, I can get upstairs to take a shower.

My mother is ecstatic about the Bruno stairlift. My sister had a Bruno stairlift put in for her, and I thought it's a good looking unit. I'm a machinist, and I know what quality looks like. The Bruno looks a lot better than the one I was looking at Acorn. Its overall appearance is better and it's very nicely put together. The sales rep from Bruno was terrific. It's hard to deal with my mom but he really knew what he was doing. He was very professional. The installation was straightforward. I would have struggled with it, but the guys who did it were good and very methodical. That's what they do, and they know how to do it.

Bruno was a good company to work with. Their sales reps were very nice and they knew what they were doing. The installation also went very well. The stairlift is very good quality, serves its purpose, and does what it's supposed to. Also, the cost was what I was expecting.

We had a very old stairlift model that was no longer functioning and we needed one for my wife to get up and down the stairs. Bruno was recommended by the DME Store and we made an appointment. They came to the house, measured and talked us through the options. Then they showed up on time and installed it. It was the salesperson's son who did the installation. It was the same family and it couldn’t have gone better. The installation took about two hours, which was not very long and although the straight stairlift fits a little tightly in the stairwell, there’s not much else one can do. They also don’t make the stairlifts like they used to and it's slow but it is what it is. It’s sturdy and it does the job, and I like the multiple remote controls.

My husband was having trouble going up and down the stairs since he had two fractured femur bones, on both sides. It was six months before they found out which was why we got stairlifts. I called another company three different times and they promised to come but never showed up. Then, I talked to one of their guys and he said he hated to do it but he would give us a number. I talked to the Bruno salesperson over the phone and I had a great interaction with him. He was very kind and I was very pleased with him. The gentleman who came to install the stairlift was very sociable and did a very good job.
