I went into Cedar Valley Mobility and checked Bruno out. Those people were so nice so I didn't look any further. I went in and they had a little demonstrator. It was two or three weeks later that I called them and told them to come on out and measure for one. They were so nice, too, when they installed the stairlift and that means a lot. The installers were awesome and they never left until they made me ride it. They were here for maybe an hour.

My husband had some health issues that require a stairlift. I know one person from Bruno so I went with them and I chose the straight type. The installer was very nice. We had an older one that had bitten the dust and it had a very heavy railing to take out, and I don't know how he did it. So far, the Bruno stairlift is fine and the quality seems good. It gets my husband where he needs to go, although he thinks it's a little too slow. But they said everybody says that.

I have a two-story apartment building and some folks couldn't live on the second floor if they didn't have the stairlift. The Bruno sales rep I dealt with was friendly, helpful, very upfront and honest with me. The quality of the stairlift that was installed was excellent. It helps them get to their apartment. So far, everything is working the way it's supposed to.

My brother made an appointment with a Bruno rep to come over. We got the stairlift because our mother is capable of walking up and down the stairs, but no one can guess when her knee is going to buckle. The installation was fine. They told me it was gonna take three hours but it didn’t because they constructed it before they got here. They just had to put the rail in, so it took a lot less time than expected.

I had a straight stairlift installed and it was a very nice experience. The installers were fabulous and very nice and neat. And the stairlift is easy to use. It’s a little on the slow side, but then I don’t presume it’s gonna do 60 miles an hour. I had an operator’s manual and it’s easy for somebody to walk by it. It’s good.

My dad is 95 and his vision is not good and his balance is not good. His doctor recommended that we look into getting a stairlift and the VA approved it. The man who came to measure was wonderful. He was very helpful and he explained what would happen. Then before I knew it, in less than a week, the people were there installing it. It was just wonderful. The installers were very young but they were enjoying their job. They were funny, helpful, and good about demonstrating how to use the stairlift and explaining all the ins and outs. We were gone for two weeks after it was installed for the holiday, and so we're still getting used to it. The only challenge is that the washing machine is in the basement and getting past the stair to get downstairs with a huge load of laundry is somewhat challenging, but I've been known to use the chair to take the laundry down. Other than that, we love the stairlift and my dad gives it a two thumbs up.

My husband picked a stairlift from Bruno out and I liked it. The Bruno rep was good. The installers were very professional. The stairlift is very nice, and I like going up and down the steps with it. It looks very good, and it runs very nicely. I only have the trouble with the safety device. I have trouble, when I get at the top of to the stairs, turning it around. I have trouble getting it in the right position. I wish somebody would come out to my house and demonstrate to me again how to turn it around.

My wife had been having trouble for a couple of months out and she is gonna have a surgery on her hip. Her mother is 93 and she is also having a lot of trouble going up the stairway. We have a friend as well who can barely walk up. She can’t walk down and has to sit down. So with multiple reasons of why we can’t get up and down the steps, we got a stairlift. The Bruno sales visit was really good and the guy gave us all the information we wanted. Then he came out to the house and measured. We asked him some more questions about how the stairlift works and he really knew his business. When the installation team came over, they said that they would have it done in a couple hours and they did. They left it super clean as well so it was nice.

A year or so ago, we looked at Acorn and they were out of Columbus. But Bruno is local. We knew who was running it and they had references. They are also a little bit cheaper. We live in a condo that has stairs in it and because of our age and our health, we decided to get a stairlift. They did a good job with the installation. They were clean and did it in about half a day. We have a straight line to the landing. We take two steps, get on the other one and come over the rest of the way upstairs to our TV room and our bedroom. Our family is happy that we got it and think it's great for us. We're happy with its quality and we use it a lot. It makes it convenient for us to get up and down. And we don't have to worry about falling.

I had a Bruno stairlift previously in my cellar steps a long time and I’ve had good service with it. Once going down the basement, the stairlift is wonderful considering how many times a day we use it. We’ve had the stairlift from the first floor to the basement where we have a lot of refrigerators and the only problem we had is that one time, the batteries went bad. So, it has had the batteries replaced. I don’t know how many years it is since we’ve had that stairlift but it's well over a decade, and it's good.

My father, who lives on the second floor, is 96 years old and it was getting hard for him to get up and down the stairs. We thought getting a stairlift would be a good solution. The sales rep, who was also one of the owners, was wonderful. He explained everything in detail and wasn’t pushy. It worked out very well for us and we appreciate it. We had a stairlift for my mother about 25 years ago, but it was from a different company. The railing of Bruno's stairlift is closer to the wall so there’s a little more space. We’re very happy with the way it’s working. We like the remote, which comes in very handy. Moreover, the price was reasonable compared to some other places, and the service was excellent. I would recommend Bruno to other people who need a stairlift.

We like the Bruno stairlift we got. The doctors told us to get one and we got a curved stairlift that has 2 turns. Our stairs is narrower and one has to get sideways on it. Still, the installation guys were good. And the stairlift gets me up and down. So far, everything’s good about the quality.

My Bruno stairlift was provided by the VA. The sales representative took care of everything during the sales visit and then the installation was efficient. The stairlift fits okay into the stairwell and we can still walk past it. I like the accessibility and it’s convenient.

A Bruno dealer is very close by and we figured, for service, that means quite a bit rather than going for another brand that we have to locate a competition as we don’t know where they come from. We got a straight stairlift and it’s been doing good. However, maybe it’s grabbing or hesitating in some places and it got quite a workout at Christmastime. Also, it definitely does take over the stairwell because our stairs isn’t that wide and if one had to get down with the chair, they have to squeeze by it. But that can’t be helped. Other than that, we like everything about it. It does the job and does what it’s supposed to do.

My wife has problems going up and down the stairs. The sales visit with the Bruno rep was okay and we got an indoor stairlift that has a swivel chair. It fits perfectly into our stairwell and the quality is good. So, it has allowed us to still live in our own house.

We got Bruno and we compared it to another stairlift. The quality on the Bruno stairlift was much better and it was a more expensive chair, but the difference in price was worth it. After it was installed, I wish there was more room in my stairwell and to be able to get past it when the chair is up or down. But my house was built in the 60s so we can only go to a certain extent. The chair was for my wife and we’re very pleased with it. But they are expensive. They’re overpriced and the industry takes advantage of it because it’s not something that’s covered by insurance. Other than that, the stairlift we have seems to be very well built, very sturdy, and acting the way we wanted it to.

Bruno sounded very reasonable, and the sales rep was a very nice person. He went over everything with me. Plus the installer really knew what he was doing and that’s what counts. I got a straight stairlift and I like everything about it. I like getting at it and not having to climb the stairs. It's very smooth and I feel very safe in it.

We installed 2 of these in our 3-level home about 6 months ago, thinking one of our moderately-mobility-impaired relatives would enjoy it when visiting. Little did I know that I would need it myself -- within a week after installation I was using it regularly. The salesman was very good, installer(s) the same, and two early problems were addressed timely. I made the mistake of not researching more options before buying, and suspect I might have gotten more bang for the buck had I done so. My major complaints are:

Our adult son is gravely ill and he has moved back to our house. He was having a hard time getting up and down the stairs and I was also having a hard time getting him up the stairs because I have a bad leg. I contacted a local stairlift installer, who carries Bruno, and we had a straight one installed. We now have three stairlifts in our house. Earlier, the same provider had installed one out in my garage so I could get up to my office because they were steep stairs. And then, we had a neighbor who moved out of her house and she gave her stairlift to us. We had it installed, with the new one, for the 90-degree turn in our stairs.

I had a great experience with Bruno. We got them through co-op, and their sales rep came out and he was excellent. There was no pushiness and it was entirely up to us if we wanted to go with them. Then, the installation team was really good too and they put the seat to the level to fit my husband. They took their time and they did an excellent job. We got a straight stairlift and since we’re in a bi-level home, one goes from our top floor down to the front door, and then we got one put down to the basement as well. It takes up room, but it’s a necessity. And it’s been really handy, otherwise, my husband was gonna have to slide. He has to go for a physio and then with all kinds of doctor’s appointments, and that has really helped. The quality of the stairlift so far seems to be excellent. I'm impressed with both its ease and smoothness. And also, it doesn’t jet out into the top floor. It jets out more at the bottom by the entrance to the house, which is perfect.

We purchased a stairlift for my husband when he was being treated for cancer, and we had it replaced with a new one after keeping it for a long time. The installation went very quickly and nice. It's a straight up stairlift and I’m satisfied in my experience with Bruno.

My husband had a great deal of difficulty getting up the steps and increasingly so. Bruno has a good reputation and we had a wonderful interaction with their representative during the sales visit. We got a straight stairlift and I wasn't convinced at first but it fits very well. The installation team performed excellently and the quality of the stairlift is great. My husband is comfortable using it. He doesn't really do very well when he has to do it himself, so the remote really helps.

I had a back and foot surgery, and the limitations for me going up and down for the bathroom is hard so I needed a stairlift. The installation team was nice and the quality of the stairlift is good. I got 2 straights where there was one in the top and I have to get off then get to another little section. They fit well in the stairs and there's still enough room to walk up. While it needed a jet so I can rush upstairs, everything is fine and I like the stairlift.

The sales visit and installation for my stairlift was very good but it got dragged out from the time we applied for it and got it all said and done. Still, Bruno has very good workers and I was very pleased. I broke my hips and it was a hassle and impossible with the stairs. Now, my stairlift takes me up and down the stairs with ease. I got a split landing and it’s 5 steps to the top from the landing. And that’s all I would go because it was quite a few more steps going down to the basement and I just couldn’t make it. So, the quality of the stairlift is very good and my experience has been very good as well.

The stairlift is working very good. It is provided from Dili's insurance. He is not able to go up and down the stairs, that’s why he needs that, and it's recommended from the doctor. It's a straight one and takes all the way up to the upper end of his stairs, not to the room. The installation team was very good and they were cooperative. They worked as we wanted.

I purchased a straight stairlift for my parents. Bruno was there when they were supposed to be there and they corrected a problem. I wanted the stairlift in the stair longer and it may have been a miscommunication between me and the installer. But they came back, they adjusted it, and they fixed it the way we wanted it to be. Now, my parents use it and they're happy to get up and down the steps.

I love my Bruno stairlift. The VA said they’re gonna get me a stairlift and they sent it over here. It's a straight one and initially, the seat tilted too much when I expand the seat around to get out. But the very good people of the installation team came back out and adjusted it a little bit, so it is working great now.

My experience with Bruno stairlift has been okay. The installation went fine. The installers did everything they would do and the installation happened in one day. I'm delighted to have it. With the way the house was built and with my mobility, it’s easy to not topple down there. With Bruno, I just sit in and ride down it because it saves a lot of potential serious falling. Although, I've told the VA that it's very difficult to come up with $1,000 a year to take care of it. So, we try to use it very sparingly to make it last as long as possible. They should not sell a warranty to somebody who probably can’t afford it. But the product works fantastic.

My mom experienced a fall and was in a nursing home. They won’t release her until she had the ability to go home and move around by herself so it was decided that it was time for a stairlift for her. The Bruno rep came out and gave a quick estimate as far as the time it would take and how much it would take. The installation was fairly simple and took, roughly, an hour and a half. My mom loves the stairlift.

My wife had a heart attack and she can't walk. We needed a stairlift to get her upstairs and we got a Bruno. After I purchased it, the guy I bought it from, Rick, came back the next day to pick up the balance of his pay. I mentioned to him that the stairlift was starting to lean away from the wall. He told me that he would have somebody sent over. But then, nobody came so I phoned Bruno and asked them what was going on. They said they haven't heard anything from Rick and they were making arrangements for somebody to come over. It has already been two or three weeks. The service is **.

My wife couldn’t get up and down the stairs, so I needed to get a stairlift. This is the second one we've had. We've had one that was Bruno before secondhand. That one they’ve discontinued and don't do the parts after 10 years, so I had to get a new one. The new one just got put in last month. The installers were great. I've used them for 10 years, and they’re good guys.

I’m taking care of a person that has Parkinson’s, and we got a Bruno stairlift because it's American made. The installation team was very clean and very professional. We've had the stairlift for 2 weeks, and unfortunately, it’s not working for us. My patient is having trouble bearing weight. It’s two straights, so you gotta transfer and it’s getting very, very, very difficult, and I almost wish I didn’t get it. I should have gotten a wheelchair one. But overall, the quality of the stairlift has been really good and I'm very, very satisfied.

I had a Bruno Stairlift in my own home that I had put in a few years ago for my mother, and we were very happy with it. I was very satisfied with the product. And when we had some estimates done for my mother-in-law, not only was the price competitive for Bruno and we knew about the product, but we had a lot of confidence in the gentleman, who was the sales representative, who did the measuring and answered our questions. He was really, really outstanding. He knew his stuff. He had the answer to every question we had. It was clear that he had a lot of experience in installing them.

My husband had a heart attack and a stroke. He’s unable to walk up and down the stairs, and we have a lot of stairs. The state decided on Bruno. And I really liked their rep. The guy was really nice and very informative. My husband is loving the stairlift. What he likes most is the flexibility of it. He can close it up. He can turn it off when the kids would get into it. It’s very easy to operate. And he likes that he can operate it using one side of the handle. With a push of his thumb, he can make it go up or down.

I couldn't get up the stairs easily and I was given a Bruno stairlift by the program it was under. The installation was quick and when I go up, the stairlift is fine.

My 91-year-old mother has dementia. And the only in and out from our house, which was built kind of on an incline was stepped, and it would have been impossible to push her on a ramp. I figured that a stairlift would be the perfect thing for her. The rep from Bruno was great. At first, I was thinking to get a ramp and then he saw we had basement steps into the garage, so he measured for the ramp and then he measured for the garage. Then he looked at the garage and he said, “Your best bet would be for a stairlift.” That was probably gonna be a little bit less than a ramp, and so it might’ve been more money for him but I appreciated his advice. He said, “I don’t want to sell you something you'd be unhappy with. I wouldn’t wanna have to push somebody up a ramp that size.” So, I appreciated his advice. And he assured me it would be done very safely, and it was.

I am an in-home health care provider to Pennsylvania. I'm paid through a subcontractor through the state to take care of my mother and elderly grandmother, and that was the reason we purchased the stairlift. And it was through United Disability Services that we were able to get the Bruno stairlift and through a federal grant. Bruno was the option we were given and after looking them up, my mom was very pleased that that was the option we were given.

My husband loves the Bruno stairlift. We got it through the VA, which, more or less, deals with Bruno. The installation took a couple of hours and the installers were great. They even put wood in my wood burner.

We got Bruno stairlift for medical reasons and everything has been good working with them. The installation took about an hour and a half, and the stairlift is user-friendly. I would recommend it highly.

Patricia's mother has various things wrong with her. She needs knee surgery, but she’s 86 and the doctor said she wouldn’t be able to get to it because her heart’s not good and she has high sugar. We got the straight lift and the installer was very professional, friendly, interested and cooperative. He was amazing. Patricia's mother is very happy with the lift. I was talking to her the other night and she said she loves it.

My mother is 91 years old and she has Parkinson's disease. It affects her walking, as well as walking up the steps and down. I was concerned about the size of the chair because my mother didn't want a small one, like the ones that would make her feel tight. Even though she’s not a big person, she still doesn't like the chair or the feet to be too small, so that was why the guys recommended Bruno. She feels secure in it. The installation did not take long. The person who came out to do it was nice, and he gave me a lot of information about what to do, what not to do, how to keep it up, how to keep her safe while she is in it, and how to work the remote controls. He told me everything I needed to know. The stairlift is quiet, it works fine, and my mother’s happy.

I was researching chairlifts and found that everybody said Bruno is the most dependable. So, then, I started looking for who to buy one from. I went for a new one. I found a vendor, 101 Mobility. I called them and they sent a fellow out who claimed that he was half owner of their company. I’m 385 pounds, so we discussed that. He was sitting right across from me in my living room while we were talking about it, and he went and measured my stairwell. I needed the left hand and I needed the Elite, the 400-pound capacity. We ordered it and I gave him a sizable down payment of 2800.

I’m 95-years-old and I’m a handicap, and I got the straight Bruno stair lift for about two weeks now. With it, I get up and down the steps now without crawling up them. It fits well in the stairwell, too. The installation guy was clean and professional. He never left any dirt or anything behind, and he swept the steps for me.

I had my first stairlift for 13 years and then I had the new one about two and a half weeks. But I had difficulty with it already, and my kids helped me straighten it out. It left me stuck upstairs. I had that mishap twice that I couldn’t go downstairs and that was very frustrating for a new equipment. I never had that problem with my old one. But other than that, I love that it is quiet and new. The salesman and the installer were very nice. My son-in-law stayed here during the installation and he even helped them and everything went fine that day. It only took about three hours. The man I got it from said I can do whatever I want to. I'm strong enough to lift myself up without using those side handles that help you to stand up.

My husband has post-polio syndrome. He can go up and down the stairs but he can't carry anything. We chose to purchase a stairlift and with Bruno, my husband could go to the showroom, see the stairlift operate, and hear it -- it was quieter than the competitor model. But they didn't install it as close to the wall as we would have liked. There wasn't enough space in the stairs for others to go up and down. My husband called them and they were most gracious and sent out a couple of fellas to remove the stairlift where it was and push it closer to the wall. It suits us fine. The owner, Rick, was very nice, and so was the gal in the office, Laura. The workmen were pleasant also.

VA got me a stairlift and having it has been excellent so far. When Bruno came for the sales visit, they were like gold. I got an inside stairlift that curves and goes upstairs. I also couldn't believe on how fast the installation team got it all hooked up for me. They got it going in half a day. Now, I could get upstairs in the bathroom and that makes me happy.

My knees give out on me a lot, and I can't come up and down the stairs a lot. My caregiver worker mentioned about stairlifts and Bruno gave me a home sales visit. The stairlift is at UDS and I had it put inside my house. The team that installed it was really good and had it down to one day. I love my stairlift and it is wonderful.

My mother is 89 years old and she can't walk very well. I called Bruno and had a stairlift put in. Both the sales rep and the installer were wonderful. Everybody was great and I've already recommended Bruno to somebody else.

I sleep upstairs, in the second story, and it requires a few steps to get up there. But, for the last two months, I’ve been sleeping on the couch because I cannot make it up 10 steps alone. I went with Bruno because this company here had put one in for somebody that belongs to the same church that I go to, and they also put the same one in the church that I go to. They did a good job during the sales visit when they came out to my home. It did not take them long here and they had it done in no time too. I have a straight lift from the kitchen floor upstairs to the second floor.

I have a hard time walking upstairs and one of the last times I did, I fell. My wife was in front of me and we almost went down the stairs. So, we’ve been sleeping downstairs on a pull-out couch -- we have two bedrooms upstairs. I also have my music room and I have a long play. I happen to be a poet and write a lot of my poetry to music, and those were not accessible to me. My wife chose Bruno because the people who came to inspect the stairs were much more competent than the other one. The young men were fantastic. The installation team was very good and they took about five or six hours. It took a lot of assembling below the stairway.

I found that Bruno chair lifts were much less expensive than Acorn which is advertized. It also is the only one made in the USA. They have a three year warranty and a life warranty for the motor. I had to have them come out to fix a minor problem, and they were there the next day, even though I did not live close to the office. I would buy a Bruno chair again from this company.

The Bruno reps were very nice and they answered all the questions. The installation went fast and it seemed that the person that put it in was very knowledgeable. Saul likes the way it works. He had fractured his back and he wasn't able to go up the steps, and the more that he's gonna use it, it's going to make it that much better.

My wife and I got a two-story house. I'm 90 and we wanna make sure that when we need the stairlift, the equipment is there. The people from Bruno Independent Living Aids are nice. They do their job and everything is right. When they first came here, they got the wrong parts and that delayed the installation. Other than that, everything was fine. When the parts got here, they came over, put it on, and everything was working. It’s a straight stairlift and it fits good. It's very easy to go up and down the stairs with it.

My wife wanted a stairlift for her sister to be able to come up and down the stairs and visit with her. We found that Bruno didn't get any bad feedback, so we took them. The reps were fine and now, the straight stairlift is working well.

I called Bruno up and told them what I wanted. I got one of their stairlifts and the cost was very reasonable. Their crew came in and installed my straight stairlift. It's been great so far and my disabled wife likes it.

My legs went south on me about two months ago and I can’t get down in the basement. I’m a veteran and the VA got a Bruno stairlift for me. A guy came out and did the measurements. Then the office called me the next day and said it was approved. It was another week or so before they got it all ordered. Then they came out and installed, and everything went fairly smooth. The fellow who installed it had to know what he was doing because everything just went like clockwork real easy.

The reps at Bruno called to tell me to set up the appointment to install it. We don't have a doorbell and I live downstairs so I asked them to call me on the day of the installation when they get here rather than just beat on the door, and they did. I went up and I could not believe how quickly the stairlift was installed. Then, they showed me how it worked and gave me the two remotes.

I have a neurological disease and I decided to purchase a stairlift. Bruno had better ratings which was why I chose them and during the sales visit, the rep measured the length of the stairs and explained the cost. I wish it was a lot cheaper and that Medicare would fund part of it. It cost me that much money. The people who put in the stairlift talked to us about how to work it. The motor doesn’t seem to sound smooth and the stairlift is a little too tall for me. Part of the trouble is that I have a broken wrist, and it’s hard to get on and off it but I’m getting used to it.

I called through Google and asked them to give me the stairlift people that installs stairlift in Georgia. They gave me 10 of them and Bruno was one of those. The sales rep that came out was outstanding. He measured the thing from top to bottom and told me about the fire code. And to satisfy the Georgia fire code, we had to get the one that when you come down, it lets out the extra piece. He was very knowledgeable and he was no pressure. We got a straight model and the installer was excellent. I was impressed by his professionalism, taking care of my property. I have a nice home and he was being careful not to scratch anything. And he said that if I have any problem, call him and leave a word. Before he left, he let my 84-year-old mother-in-law get on the stairlift and took her up and down the stairs. She was operating that thing like a champ and she hadn’t looked back. It’s so simple and it doesn’t take up a lot of space on the stairwell.

I’m on compensation and I lost a leg in an industrial accident 20 years ago. I’m missing my left leg. It’s a very high amputation. It’s called a hip disarticulation, which there's no leg there at all, but there is a bit of a bone. I’ve had Bruno stairlift for about 19 years. It was working perfectly, but the salesman up in this country said, “Two years ago, they put a new motherboard in it and it went flawlessly. We’re putting a new one in.” I said, “As long as I’m not paying for it, you do as you please.” And they put a new one in last week and it is the second one I’ve had. The service guy came out and measured the stairlift. And the next week, the installation team came out and put it in. They were only there for an hour and a half, and they cleaned up. They have done an excellent job. The stairlift that I had installed is inside and the seat pulls up.

My neighbor has a Bruno stairlift. They told me that it was functioning normally and that they had no problems with it. My wife is a little shaky on her feet and I decided to put in a Bruno stairlift for her. The sales rep was very good and everything was done professionally. But the guy that put it in put in right on the edge of the top step and there's very little landing there. It would be better if there was another foot and a half. Also, it's straight and they should have put a bend in it.

We were satisfied with our first Bruno. We had to replace it so we went with a second. Thus far, we've had a problem with the remote that is for going up and down the stairs. I have a little arthritis in my hands and pushing the button down as far as it would go is the best I can do. Sometimes, that's not enough. Still, as far as the trail goes, we've been very satisfied.

There's a Bruno store was close by and I decided to buy a stairlift from them. I like it and it does the job. It gets me up and down, though I wish it went faster because I could crawl up the stairs quicker. But I know that it’s not supposed to go really fast and when I get to 104, I’ll probably appreciate the fact that it goes slower. It also takes up a lot of room in my very narrow staircase, since it’s not that wide of a staircase. Plus, I wish that the chair would swivel on the bottom of the staircase, but it’s not necessary. It only swivels when you’re at the top to the right. Other than that, the chair itself works wonderfully. My grandson loves it as well and thinks it’s the greatest thing since Swiss cheese.

I got a straight stairlift from Bruno and it fits well. However, the problem is in the way they're designed. I’m a heavy person and I weigh 280 lbs. When I sit in the chairlift, I feel like I’m gonna slide out of it ‘cause it tilts too far ahead. It has to be shimmied so it tilts back. Still, the quality is fantastic.

They gave a better warranty plus I like the salesman. He wasn't pushy. He was knowledgeable and very sincere. He knew what he was talking about. Mark and his companion who installed the stairlift were fine and I will use them again. I'm happy and satisfied with the stairlift which is curved. Once I got it on path, what to do, it's really a breeze. I don't have to walk up the stairs and hurt my back. I'm safe. It makes life much easier. I just sit here like a princess and take a ride. It says to have it serviced once a year but I'm wondering if that's a $200 service.

The people that we like to deal with were carrying Bruno and that was good enough for us to go with Bruno. The representative was wonderful, very helpful and efficient and gave us some good advice. We had her give us a quote on our curved staircase but it was outside of our budget. Our goal in getting a lift was to have an access to use another washroom. Our straight staircase could work and we went with a straight stairlift. We were lucky enough to have a choice to either go up or go down. We're very pleased with the installation team. They were two nice men who were very clean and quick. We love the stairlift and it's a cat's meow. It's so slim and attractive and gives us still lots of room to travel the stairs. We haven’t used it that much because we are now getting the said washroom renovated so that we can begin using it regularly.

Our daughter is a total quadriplegic. We live in Kansas, which is a tornado place so we needed a way to get her to the basement. I’m gonna be 70 this year and her dad’s already 70. She’s about 70 pounds and it’s hard for us to get her up and down the stairs. So that we could get to the basement, we got a chairlift. I looked at another company that costs a lot less money, but I was told that it wasn’t as good a quality as the Bruno and probably wouldn’t last as long.

They were very efficient and got the job done if I got any problems. I've been very satisfied with the service and the installation, and the stairlift is working as advertised. I have mobility issue and since we got a split level, it causes a problem going up and down the stairs. With the stairlift, it definitely aids in our mobility issues.

I'm disabled, so I have a hard time walking. The stairlift from Bruno makes my life a lot easier. It looks good and it's comfortable. The sales rep was a nice gentleman who was very informative and told me the pros and cons, and how to take care of the stairlift. The installers were in here about 9:00 and were out by noon. I live above a pharmacy, and I told the pharmacist the installers were there but the pharmacist said he never heard them.

I have a terrible time walking, and steps became very difficult. When we had looked at the stairlift from another company, it was made in England and they said it takes a week or 10 days to get parts if I needed them. Bruno was made here and I could get parts immediately. The sales rep told us all about the product and explained it. He was also polite. The installation took about three hours and they cleaned up everything, and it was a good experience. I'm happy with the stairlift. Something has come a tiny bit out of adjustment on the very bottom. And we’re gonna call and have that taken care of, but that’s not a problem.

There was just one guy who did the installation but it didn't take very long. I use the stairlift daily. I love it. If you get used to it, it works great.

My husband was paralyzed on one side and could not walk down the stairs anymore. Bruno was the one recommended by the company that we hired to install it. The gentleman who sold it was excellent and very accommodating. We got the curve type from them and it fits perfectly in our stairwell. The installation team did their job. However, my husband had a lot of problems. He is paralyzed on his right side and the switch was initially installed on the left side. So when he would stand up, he would hit the switch. In fact, he was pushed out of the chair at one point and they have been trying to correct this issue.

Because of medical conditions, I needed a stairlift and I had to have 2 estimates for Veterans Affairs that was covering it. I got a Bruno straight stairlift and the installation went very well. The individuals who installed were very friendly and knowledgeable. It didn’t take very long when they put it in and it's been working all right since then.

We got a Bruno stairlift so my grandpa could get out to the garage, and then I could get him into the car easier. He had a different one in the house for going upstairs, but I found Bruno that was more reasonable. It’s still expensive but better than the other one, with about a $2,000 difference. It’s not very compact but it does okay. We’ve only used it once or twice since it has been put in, and everything has been fine so far.

40 years ago, I took a major stroke. And a lot of my right side's not working so good so I purchased a stairlift from Bruno. At that time, I was sleeping in a recliner because going upstairs was very frightening. I was having the VA help me into my home. And the person that they sent out, showed me what Bruno could do, how well it would work, and how it help me get up. They can do all the things that I would require and they did it.

I have a contractor and he got Bruno for me. The representative came in and did everything perfectly. I got a curved stairlift. I’ve had it going for about two and a half months. Years ago, I tried to get one and they said they couldn’t fit it in. The installers did a good job of putting it up and it fit in the area very well. They gave me the booklets and who to call, and I sent the thing in for the warranty. I had somebody come out because it was beeping and they had to do something with it, but other than that, it’s doing fine and there are no problems.

I got Bruno through the VA and they provided everything. The installation team was very professional and it took a little bit of time, but they got everything right. I struggle to walk upstairs, which was why I got a stairlift. It gives me enough time to sit down, go upstairs and swivel the chair so, I have no problems. People should go with Bruno because it did a good job for me.

WCB chose Bruno for me and I got a curved stairlift. The installation team told me what they were doing and after it was completed, they gave a demonstration. I couldn’t make it to one landing and I would have to stop and sit down and rest for 10 or 15 minutes, then go walk. Now that I'm using the stairlift, I don’t have to walk anymore and I feel safer. It has made life a lot easier.

My mom is elderly and she was having a hard time getting up and down the stairs but wanted to stay in her own home. The Bruno sales rep came to the home, took pictures and looked at everything. We went to the store, and we were able to ride in them and try them out. So, it was good. We were here when the installer put it in and he didn’t have too many problems. He had to make a phone call or two while he was doing it, but other than that, it went in well. We got the straight stairlift with the chair that swivels at the top but the bottom part folds back because it extends farther than the bottom of the bottom step. So, it was kinda in the way. It folds up and when you fold it back down, there’s a locking mechanism, which is adjoined, and we had a little bit of a hard time and realized that she won’t be able to lock that. My brother-in-law fiddled with it and fixed it. We figured out that we don’t need to fold that back anyway and the stairlift is working great.

PCA was renting the stairlift that I had before, and then they put in a Bruno which is so much better. It's a smoother ride. It doesn’t jerk at all going up or down. When you get in and push the button, you’re riding. Also, the one that I had was so loud, while this is a whisper quiet in comparison. I really like it. The guys who put it in were really nice and they took down some of the wiring for the other stairlift that was bigger and had more wiring around my bedroom door. The only thing I like better from the other stairlift was that it didn't have a remote. It was connected to the electric in the house, and then attached to the walls. With the Bruno stairlift I have to make sure to put the remote somewhere that when friends come with little children they don't play with it. Other than that, it’s great.

The Bruno reps were very friendly and helpful. We had a brochure and the stairlift was like they explained. The installation team was fabulous. They did their stuff, and worked around things that we had here, and were able to do their work. We were happy with the whole crew. They were all very friendly and helpful. My husband doesn’t have to worry about falling down the stairs anymore. The stairlift is a real convenience for him and a lifesaver for me. But it beeps all the time. So I just turn it off, and then turn it back on, but I don’t know why it’s beeping all the time. Other than that, we’re extremely happy to have it.

I’ve looked around on the internet for chairlifts and stairlifts, and I ran across that Bruno is American-made, and that they had a pretty high-quality rating. But they measured it wrong, and they’ve installed the chair short. I asked them about extending it, and they keep giving me the runaround. I don’t breathe well, so I couldn’t test it out before the guy finished, or else, it should’ve gone up another foot. But now, I have to come down a stair to get down to the chair, and that’s not what I’m looking to do. Also, I don’t have the energy to be chasing people around anymore, because I’m sick and I don’t have the patience for it anymore. Bruno should have better control over their distributors or installers. They’re not repping their product very well.

Bruno came up when we were looking for a stairlift provider and my sons did it. The quality of the stairlift is great and it works, which is all I care about. It gets me up there and it gets me down. The guy who installed was professional all the way.

My legs are weak. I had two straight Bruno stairlifts installed, one from the downstairs to the kitchen and one to the bathroom and bedrooms upstairs. They were expensive, but they will be worth it in the long run.

Everything is working out perfectly with Bruno. When I searched on the internet, they were the number one and I wanted the best. We got a straight stairlift, so it was easy. Its price was reasonable as well. There was one little issue with the wire that wasn't connected so it didn't work initially. But the technician figured it out and everything has been fine since. I have a long run of stairs and stairlifts are not gonna get any cheaper. I wanted to get one installed, and I went with Bruno because being in Fairbanks, we only have I think the Alaska Stairlift. So, they have the Bruno product. I looked a little bit online and the Bruno seemed to be a good – where Acorn had some negative reviews. It works fine. The installers were fine too. There was a few spare parts left over and that was good. But I would like a turbo model as it goes twice as fast. Nevertheless, overall, I have been very happy with the service so far. I would recommend them to anybody.

Bruno's stairlift appears to be a good piece of equipment. My interactions with their reps were very good. I had a straight stairlift installed and the installer was very pleasant and did a good job. It's as compact as it can be and it appears to be engineered well. So far, everything is working out wonderfully. I even took my little four-year-old neighbor buddy for a ride up the other day and he loves it.

Things went very well during their sales visit and the rep explained everything as thoroughly as necessary. The installation went very well also. The Bruno installers were good. They had done some work for my brother so I knew them. I have Parkinson’s and I needed a stairlift. I use it for getting up the steps. I also use it for laundry and groceries. Somebody up the top of the steps takes them off, the stairlift comes back down and you push it back up.

I had 27 falls down the steps and the VA put me through a test work about my being able to get around. My brain would tell my left foot it moved, but my foot hadn't actually moved. So, the VA bought a Bruno stairlift for me. Dan was excellent and he explained it all to me. The stairlift is curved all the way down and I can get on and off of it really easily. I'm almost 71 years old, and all I live here with are two little dogs. The chihuahua stays always in the basement but the min pin goes up and towards the bed with me. The stairlift has been in for about two and a half months and its quality is really good. The only thing that could make it better is if it had a black chair instead of a gray chair. Overall, though, I am satisfied. I appreciate it and it has made my life a lot easier.

The Bruno stairlift was installed quite well. I'm quite handicapped and the VA provided it. The installers got it done in half a day. There’s a couple of spots where it hits a rough spot on the lift down by the first landing. But other than that, it works great. It gets me up and down. I'm quite satisfied with my experience. It's a curved stairlift and it has two landings. We have a quad-level, and we took it down from bedroom level, to the kitchen level, to the rec room level.

Both of my parents are 85 and are having a lot of mobility issues. I pushed towards getting a stairlift and they resisted it heavily. But then, I really wrestled with it. We went for Bruno and everything has been great. I couldn't be happier. I was there during the initial consultation and it was fantastic. My parents live in the middle of nowhere and the reps drove quite a distance just to get to that location. They were straightforward, concise and very clear on what they were gonna do and what was needed towards the install. Also, it was really fast, from the time we got the initial consultation to the installation.

The Bruno salesman was very professional. He knew what he was doing and gave us all the right answers. The installers were very good too. My wife was having difficulty climbing the stairs and the stairlift gets her up and down the stairs with no pain. She gets on the chair, gets up, and gets off. Having the Bruno stairlift has made life much easier.

We talked about putting a stairlift in and saw online that Bruno was sold through James Medical. I checked that out and had a straight stairlift installed. Roger had fallen down the stairs and broken his neck. Having the stairlift makes it easier for him when he goes upstairs or downstairs.

I would highly recommend Bruno Independent Living Aids. They did good. Their installation team was fantastic. The stairlift gets you from point A to point B and back to A, which is the biggie.

I'm very happy with the stairlift that we got from Bruno. My dad uses it everyday. The day that I called about it, Bruno's reps came within 15 minutes and installed it for me because my dad said he couldn't get up the stairs and my dad's at end-stage cancer. They were so great and I'd highly recommend them. In fact, I had trouble with the lift two days after I got it because it kept getting hung up on the steps. My dad's tall, he's 6' 4", and the people who put it in didn't take into fact of my dad's height. But they came back and they fixed it. I haven't had any problems since then. We got the curved stairlift and I paid for it outright. The quality is very good, too.

My shower is upstairs and because of the fallen arches in my feet, I can’t make it up the stairs. I had a straight Bruno stairlift installed. The rep was good and the installer did an excellent job. The services were good too. Plus, the stairlift's quality is excellent. Having it is really amazing.

I’m paralyzed and I needed to get to my basement for safety reasons. The Bruno sales guy who came out to talk about the stairlift was very good and informational. The installation team was very nice and informational as well. I had to do the curved stairlift and it fits fine into our stairwell. The quality, for being the bench, is very nice. While I would prefer to have the one where I could drive up in my wheelchair, the gentleman said they wouldn’t fit in the area. Still, the stairlift is sturdy and seems to be very dependable and easy to handle. It’s easy to transfer on and it gives more security at my home that I can go to my basement during a storm. So, having the stairlift has improved my life very much.

The team that installed the stairlift was terrific too. Now, I have freedom to leave my home when I need to and to get back into it safely. I'm happy about my Bruno stairlift.

I'm in a wheelchair and I called Bruno to tell them that I needed a lift for the bed of my truck. The installation team did well and I've got the lift for almost a month now. It is mounted in the back of the truck and it grabs my wheelchair then throws it in the back of the truck. It's fairly easy to use as it goes up and down, up and down, and in and out. Quality-wise, it seems to be doing okay. I would hate for somebody to have to use one, but if they were going to, Bruno would be about the only one I know that does it.

Bruno is top-of-the-list. So we had some stairlift removed and put in three from Bruno. We have a curved stairlift, a straight one and an outdoors one. The team that installed those were excellent people. The only negative thing is that I can’t speed up the stairlift. Besides that, it’s pretty easy getting on and off it.

I have to go upstairs and downstairs, and because I’m not steady, people were afraid that I would fall down the steps going down the basement or going upstairs. So, we decided on getting the stairlift. We had very good experience during Bruno's sales visit and we ended up getting one of their straight stairlifts. A very nice man then came to install, and he knew what he was doing and he explained everything to me. Everything was great. I've had my stairlift for about a month now and I love it. If I wanna get down the basement with clothes, I put them on my lap and go down. It’s great. I’m very satisfied and I would recommend them.

My wife was very sick, and we got the Bruno stairlift so she could move up and down the stairs in the house. We got it at the end of July and she passed away August 10th, so we only had it here for two weeks. The rep came back and he was a great guy. He took it out and disassembled it, and we put it in my shed. A few weeks later, I went to see a good friend of mine who has all sorts of medical issues and had been in rehab for a couple of months. He told me he was gonna have to move, and I said, “I’ve got the stairlift that we could put in your house". Now my friend is using it. It’s a great device.

I spoke to three different manufacturers but Bruno was the cheapest, so I went with them. The stairlift was installed by one person and it took about two hours. So far, it works good and it gets me up and down the steps which I couldn’t do before. My daughter also uses it and now, she can get up and down now as well. She had a rough time before too.

The installers were perfect and not hard to get at. I have the straight stairlift and it fits well into my stairwell. The quality is 100% good. You push a button and you go up and down. This stairlift changed my life 100%. I don't have to have all that pain going up and down the stairs. I can go outside now. Otherwise, I can’t go anywhere.

My Bruno stairlift changed my life for the better. I couldn’t get up the stairs, and then we purchased the stairlift through the VA. We got it through a company in Fayetteville, Arkansas and they came out, measured and ordered it for us. The stairlift came and they installed it for us. Everything’s okay with it until you get up till the top three stairs, then it tends to stop. I think the blade on the bottom is touchy. I hit it with my feet and it would go.

I have MS and I can’t get up and down the steps at all. The sales visit from Bruno was wonderful. The rep came all the way from Wisconsin to Illinois, and I got everything answered. It was very appreciated. I purchased a straight stairlift and the installers were very helpful.

Bruno was the one who won the contract from the VA, who did everything. The installer that came was very good. The stairlift is straight and it's inside my house, and it’s better than the other one that was put in. It’s a better-equipped piece of equipment.

We've been looking at stairlifts 'cause my knees have been going bad and I had surgery on my foot twice. It has not worked out. And I cannot take up going up and down the stairs. So we've been looking at pamphlets and we found a company that would do it for far cheaper than anyone else would do it, and Bruno is a good one. It's working so well and sure beats going up the stairs with my knees the way they are. I don't have to go up and down those steps. Bruno also spent all the time in the world they needed to teach Jim how to use the stairlift so he could teach me. They were wonderful.

The chairlift has taken away a lot of my knee pain. I’m having knee problems and it’s very hard to go upstairs. It’s painful to walk upstairs. The chairlift also removes the worry that I'm gonna be stuck on one floor in my house. That’s the best and the biggest change actually. I wish we had a bigger stairway though. The chairlift makes it pretty tight and one reason for that is that we went with the Elite. But my balance is so bad. I wanted to be able to flop into it without any danger. It’s the straight unit and it has a lift at the top too so it turns around at the top. I like the chairlift so far.

My stairlift is a neat thing and it's working wonderfully. I ride up and down like I never had it. I really like it very much. It's a state-of-the-art situation too. The quality is wonderful. It's number one. Choice Health Care is a healthcare center where they have everything you can imagine for people who need help and who have problems. I went over there for other things like bandages and that was how I found Bruno. I would recommend it to any person that needs one. The install was wonderful as well. It was done not quickly but within a nice, reasonable time. Then I haven't had a bit of trouble. The technician was a very neat worker.

I purchased a straight Bruno Stairlift for my mother-in-law who is going through chemo. The salesperson from Bruno was very good. He gave us all the information and told us how it would be installed. The installation was just like he described. The installers talked to me about how the stairlift needed power so we had a plug installed to plug it at the bottom of the stairs. It was attached perfectly. They did a great job and cleaned up.

The installation experience was very nice and everything was great. So far, the Bruno stairlift is working fine and it seems to do the job. It gets my wife up and down the stairs. The only thing is I wish it was a little faster. But she definitely feels safe in it.

My aunt needed a stairlift, and then my mother developed breathing problems and her bedroom is in the second floor so we had to purchase another one as well. The Bruno stairlift in the basement is very complicated, very curvy in the bottom and in the top. The one that goes from the main floor to the second floor is straight. The first one we bought was $14,000 because there were so many curves. The other was in the neighborhood of $3,000. It’s a cheaper quality chair but it does what it’s supposed to do.

I’ve got degenerative arthritis and a few other things left in the army and the VA. I can't walk half the time and it’s hard to climb steps. The VA got me Bruno, and the sales representative was great. So was the technician that put it in, who explained things for me and was very courteous. The stairlift is straight indoors going upstairs and the basement. It's excellent quality and it makes it easier for me to get up and down steps. The installation guy knew exactly what to do, and I was surprised that he was so quick. He showed me how the seat swivels when I come up the steps, and it gets slowed down in the bottom of the steps, then it locks up there. It goes faster too. I feel comfortable and safe riding it.

My folks took a tumble down the stairs when we first just moved in with them, and so I was like, “You guys need to get a stairlift.” I’ve been helping them out with the chair thing. The sales representative from Bruno that came out was wonderful. He was our number one choice from the three people that we were in contact with. He was great to deal with, personable, and super friendly. We like him the best.

My brother was here when the installers came, and he seemed to be very happy with the installation. They showed him how to use the stairlift. Everything is going well and my father likes it.

I've had trouble with COPD and a bad hip for a long time, and I didn’t wanna get a stairlift until I had to. However, my husband was in a car accident and his hip and leg were hurt. That was in January and it wasn’t getting any better even with ongoing physio. So, we decided, since we both needed it, it was time to buy a stairlift. We live in a two-story house so we put in two stairlifts - one to the basement and one to the upstairs.

When the man from Bruno came out to give me an estimate, he told us about the main concerns of purchasing one and it went real well. During installation, they were very professional and everything went great. The stairlift is straight and it's been a great blessing.

So far, I'm very satisfied with the Bruno stairlift. We got a straight one and the cost is reasonable. The installers were very professional too. They did a very good job and I was very happy with the outcome. I had one issue but it was resolved. The sensor was a little too sensitive and the stairlift was just stopping, thinking that there was something in the way. I reported it and they came out and fixed it.

Bruno was reasonably priced, and it looks as good as any of the more expensive ones. The one I got is straight and during its installation, it was only one fellow and it took him three hours. I mainly send the laundry down on the stairlift as I couldn’t do the stairs carrying laundry up and down. I’d recommend it.

We got a stairlift through the VA and the Bruno reps explained it all. They were very good. We got the one that goes straight up our stairs and we had a few problems with how it was working in the beginning. It wouldn’t stop beeping, and it wouldn’t go up and down the stairs, but the installers went back several times and fixed it. Now, it’s working like a charm.

I’m having problems with sleep and vertigo, and the only way I could seem to get up and down our stairs was with a stairlift. Bruno and Acorn came up and based upon info that I had, I didn’t wanna deal with Acorn. The website that pulled that up gave Bruno at least 4.5 stars, and the others were less. I contacted their people in Tupelo, Mississippi and they came out. I had to have two stairlifts because at the landing, we make a 180 degree turn. The first time they installed things, they installed the upper set on the wrong side of the stairs. I had a set of bookshelves on the other side, and they were afraid that the bookshelf would interfere. But there was nothing on those bookshelves. They were adjustable for parts so even the supports are removed. So, they came back a week later and moved it over to the other side. All they had to do was lift up those shelves. They put them out to my back porch and took out the supports.

We were concerned about my mother falling. Bruno's installation team was very professional, courteous, and very quiet. They did a great job. We tested the unit out, they ran us through and everything was great. I'm a builder and I could tell Bruno's is top of the line. It's very heavy duty. The base is attached right to the stairs and there are a lot of stanchions. Other than going around the left to the bend, a 90-degree bend which gets a little bumpy, everything is so high-quality. It folds up nice to file away. There are other remote features too. It’s quiet, just a couple of beeps with a few clicks in. It’s the number one chairlift out there. I wouldn’t recommend any other one. I’m really happy with the lift and the technicians.

We just moved into this new home which has a basement where the washer and dryer are. I had to get the stairlift so I could get up and down to the washer and dryer. Bruno Independent Living Aids previously made us a stairlift that was a high enough weight. I then needed an extra higher weight. One gentleman did the installation in about an hour and a half. He knew what he was talking about. He was also our sales rep and he was great. He's a do-it-all kind of guy. He gave me what I wanted and it works well. I can go to the washer. We had to have an extra for my son and a larger footplate put on the bottom, not the regular-sized ones. The guy came back and adjusted it one time because it kept getting stuck on the stair. But other than that, it has been fine since then.

The VA chose Bruno and I took it. It’s better than the last one that was pretty sketchy. The sales visit went fine though they explained very little. The stairlift is a straight platform and when the installers came, they didn't want me to bother them. Still, they explained how to push the button to make it go up and down. Then they had me do it once and I did it okay. I really like the way the arm comes down. It clamps down on the bottom of the chair, so you can’t fall off the back.

My wife had stage 4 terminal cancer and was unable to navigate the stairs. The people that we used locally here furnished Bruno as their first choice. I checked it out and went with it. Bruno's sales team was excellent. We got the straight with the chair without the curved ending, and it fits fine in the stairwell. It is 13 stairs and is fairly steep. I also occasionally use it myself even though I’m not infirm. The installation crew was very good. They explained everything and did their work quietly and efficiently, so I was pleased. They also did demonstrations. There was nothing left to clean up and they took care of everything, too.

So far, the stairlift from Bruno has been working okay. It looks well-made and we haven't had any issues with it. It came in about the time the vendor said that they would expect it to come in from Bruno because it had to be custom-made. We did have to do like a small piece to install a temporary straight one up while we were waiting for the other one to come in. When they came in, they did that in the time that they said they were gonna do it. The vendor was very good about giving us a choice of what date we wanted it installed.

The Bruno sales rep was excellent. I got a straight stairlift and the installation took a long time ‘cause the tech was by himself. He wasn’t old, but he was in his early 60s and he was working alone. So, he had to go in and out for quite a long time. It took him about five or six hours to get it done. Nonetheless, I like that the stairlift gets me up the steps without falling or thinking that I may fall. It’s excellent quality.

I wanted a chairlift and started researching. Bruno was the only one that I could read that was all steel, rather than aluminum, and I wanted to go with the best one. We like the installers and the gal that sold it to us. Miller's was the place and it's great. Without it, we'd be in trouble. All in all, we love our chairlift. It's an excellent item and I'd recommend it.

Two people were at my place for the installation of my straight Bruno stairlift. They put the rail on and then connected the chair. There weren't any complications at all. Thus far, my stairlift has been okay. It makes everything a little bit more convenient for me.

The Bruno rep who sold me my stairlift was very cordial and told me a lot of things that I needed to know. I purchased a straight stairlift from them and so far, it has been very good. The quality is fine though there are spots where it looks like the outer thing doesn't fit quite right. Still, it works. I’m having trouble with my knees and back and having the stairlift has been very helpful going up and down the stairs.

I have a problem with my hips, my leg and my back. It was too much for me to try to go upstairs and downstairs, so my wife decided that a stairlift was the best for me. The installation was very fast and nice. With the Bruno stairlift, I don’t have to try the steps, especially going upstairs. It’s very smooth.

My father was going up my steps and his foot slipped on the carpet on the landing. He cracked seven ribs. He had a porta potty and a hospital bed. He couldn’t go up the steps before the lift so for about two months, I was kinda like the nurse aid, coming out there so he can go up and down. So we decided he should have a stairlift to go upstairs now. I like having the sensor on the chairlift because if it’s not locked in place, it beeps at you. That’s good especially for an older person.

I had a great installation experience for my Bruno stairlift. With it, I got a remote for downstairs and I also have one that I keep upstairs. Thus far, everything has been working out fine and I love my stairlift.

We purchased our stairlift out of old age, and the sales visit from Bruno was good. They explained everything about the stairlift. The day of installation was good as well. The stairlift is straight and it has made it easier to get upstairs. We like it very much. It’s been a good experience and we're very satisfied.

We've had chairlifts in for many years, and the man that we worked through buys them from Bruno. We were also familiar with the sales rep and we trusted his judgment. The stairlift is in a hall and we're happy with it. The quality right now looks wonderful. We're ready to buy three more.

I couldn't walk up the stairs, so I ended putting in a Bruno stairlift. The rep was a nice guy. He came in and showed it to me. He showed me everything I wanted. I wanted it on one side, but another guy that had been in earlier told me I couldn't put it there. But the Bruno rep said that they could put it on that side and there was no problem. He said they got a thing that pulls up, where the bottom part will pull up after you get it up a way. So, if you're not using it, it’s out of the way. He did a nice job. I was happy with him. He took good care of me. He came when he said he was gonna come, and did it when he said he was gonna do it. And it’s all I care about. With the stairlift installed, I can go up and down the stairs instead of crawling up. I can go downstairs without any trouble. I’d recommend it.

There’s a local Bruno distributor in La Crosse, and a friend and I were talking, then we both called there. We both got them and we had the same rep, Jason. He made an extra trip out because my credit card didn’t work the first time. He was wonderful. The fellow that did the installation was wonderful too. He didn’t do any cutting in the house. He did it all outside and he cleaned up his crumbs. He was very pleasant and now, the stairlift gets me down and up the steps. It's just perfect.

I had a Bruno before and I got a replacement this time around. The people that installed and serviced it were not nearly as good as the people that did the replacement. The guys that came were wonderful. I talked to about three different people, and all of them were good. They knew what they were doing and represented the company well. It’s a good place to go. When I was planning to get a stairlift, I researched who was the best, and I came up with the fact that Bruno was the best. The rail and the supports did not get replaced, but I told them it was okay not to do that. But I didn’t realize I’d pay full price anyway. That’s the only hang-up I have about it. I also wish that there was a basket to take the dog that I have to take up and down the stairs. But the stairlift is working well.

The sales rep that helped me was very good and smart. He was a nice person. He was very helpful and he was not snotty about anything. I got the carrier from Bruno and they did everything perfectly during the installation. They were very professional. Everything worked out exactly perfect. I had a class-A hitch on it. I also wanted to put a button on the bottom of the carrier, but I’ve been trying to find some roll of aluminium but it’s all steel and that's too heavy to gauge. But the carrier is super good. It's a lot easier for me to get around. I wouldn’t be getting around if I didn’t have it.

The sales rep was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me in detail. He also gave me some options if I wanted them. The installation didn't go as well as I’d hoped. There was a miscommunication with the gentleman that came out, who assured me that it would be much closer to the wall, and they ended up going through my carpeting instead of just the treads. They moved it out a certain distance. But I’m living with it. I can still get around it, going up and down the stairs, but that’s not what I initially hoped it would be. I wasn’t home when they did the install, and if I had been there, I would’ve said, “No, no, no.” Still, Bruno is safe for my mother who rides on it, and it's easy to operate. Plus I liked the price and the functionality. She stays with us so many months out of the year, and at first she was like, “I don't need a chairlift”. But she made a promise that she’d use it, and now she loves it.

Our Bruno stairlift is not what I thought it'd be. It's kinda clunky but it works. It's got the retractable arm that goes down to our basement floor, and the way it goes is that it goes down and stops, and you can't do it any other way that that arm goes out, or you can have it frozen down there, but once you get down to the bottom, the part that extends is not directly aligned and supported like the main rail. When you get to the bottom, you kinda tilt forward to go down the rest of the way. Maybe it's because there's carpet there and that's causing the trouble of it. Also, once it comes back up, it stops, and then it goes up, and then it kinda sounds like gears are grinding together for a little bit before you get to the top. We got a split entry three years ago that they put in on the upper floor to the front door, and we've been using that and that's been pretty good and not too much of a problem at all.

I was crawling up and down the stairs, and it got to that point where I needed a stairlift with my back. I spoke to the contractor of Bruno and the installation was very fast and very good. Having the stairlift is wonderful for me. I don't have to crawl anymore. The whole experience is good.

I had the old Bruno for 11 years, and it broke out, so I bought another one. I got a straight stairlift and it is installed from living room to my bedroom upstairs. I'm satisfied with Bruno. The quality is fine because it's quiet. The previous one was a little bit noisy. I wished they still had the model that is running only on electric and there's no battery involved. But they don't make it anymore.

My husband and I have a 13-step stair to go up and down on and with our legs, we were afraid we would fall, so we went and looked into the different stairlifts. I called two companies and I didn't know when the other one could do the job. Bruno was more convenient, so I decided on them. We got the $3,200 straight steps going up and down and it’s making a lot of noise. It’s squeaking at the bottom too. Still, it just needs a couple of little adjustments, so I put a call in to Doug, the agent. Overall, Doug was very congenial and nice. The stairlift fits very well too. It seems very good and sturdy.

I went to Bruno and the manager was very helpful. When I went in there to talk with her, she said, “I need a down payment.” And I said, “That’s fine.” At that point, I didn’t know whether I was gonna get them or not. Another gentleman came in to assess my situation and tell me what exactly would be done. Very nice gentleman and I appreciated his information. I decided I would have them do it, and they didn’t ask for a down payment. They just said, “When it’s installed, you write us a check,” and that’s it. I appreciated the way they were upfront with me, dealt with me, trusted me, and told me what it was gonna be like. They were worth what it cost me to put the stairlift in, and it was a lot of money.

We recently moved into a townhouse and my mother can’t climb stairs so I purchased a stairlift from Bruno. The rep came out and measured. He explained what the stairlift does and he was very knowledgeable. Then, when the installer came, he explained everything to me, like how it worked and the maximum weight, and he did what he had to do. The stairlift does its job. It has a seatbelt that holds my mother in, who is not very stable. I use the stairlift to go up the stairs, too. There are noises that it makes and I don’t know if that’s normal, but I’m scared it’s gonna break.

The Bruno rep who came in did great and I appreciated it. I need the stairlift now. My back is going out on me every once in a while. I got the straight stairlift and it's helping me. I use it all the time because I have to go down the stairs and wash clothes.

We had a chairlift that was already installed by another company and it had some problems, and they could not repair it. I asked which stairlift company up here has Bruno, and that's what they replaced it with. The installation was great. We use the stairlift every day and it's working fine right now. I'd recommend.

I had Access come and install something for my mother 15 years ago, and so we rented Bruno at the time for 35 months. I did some research between that and several others, and I liked the seat and the way it collapsed. I also liked the dependability of it. The installer was excellent and it was a very easy deal.

The sales reps who came in for the home visit were incredible. They were very knowledgeable and they gave us all the information we needed. They knew their material well. We have the two single straight chairlifts. Two installers came and I was amazed at how fast the installation took. They set it up, demonstrated it, cleaned up, and then asked me if I had any questions. We like how easy the stairlift is to use. It is not bulky, and it fits in well in the stairwell. It seems very sturdy and of good quality. It made life a lot easier. My husband couldn't get in and out of the house without it.

I have congestive heart failure and a breathing problem. My social worker hooked the Bruno stairlift for me. It's a 12-step straight stairlift. A rep then came in and installed it. That took a couple of hours and it went okay. It’s a nice stairlift and it helps me a whole lot. But it's a little slow. It needs to be sped up by 10 miles an hour.

My wife was diagnosed with bone cancer in 2011 and about a year ago, she had trouble with diarrhea and she ended up with a blood clot. We had been thinking about installing a chairlift. In fact, my mother who is in Ohio was kinda pushing us to get one. There’s a medical center over off of Iliff and they gave me some brochures. One was for Bruno. We got a Bruno stairlift for our courthouse, and the rep explained everything very thoroughly. It is curved and it had to be specially engineered to meet what we need. The installation went very smoothly. I haven't heard any complaints about the stairlift, and we're hoping it lasts because the public uses it.

We purchased a curved stairlift from Bruno which my husband uses in the morning and when he eats. It's easy to operate which makes it very easy for my husband to go up and down. We're very satisfied with Bruno. Their rep was very careful and good at giving instructions. Also, their installation team was polite and very exact. All in all, we recommend this renovation of the house. We will also recommend them if we have friends who need help to go up and down.

We have a split-level house. My husband had a stroke in 2011 and lately, he is having a hard time climbing up the stairs. We have three stairs. The longer stair is nine steps, then there's about another four steps going down to the next room, and another five steps going down to the garage. He is okay climbing up the four steps in the garage and the four steps to the second level of the house, but I still help his legs. We put the Bruno Stairlift in the longer stairs and it helps my husband a lot. The installation team was very good and was very helpful and kind. So far, our stairlift is okay.

So far, it is going okay.

We like the Bruno stairlift. It's good. Without the stairlift, it would be very risky going up and down the stairs. It keeps the user safe from falling. We have the one that swivels and its quality seems okay. Dealing with their sales rep and installation team went well, too. Overall, we had a good experience with Bruno.

I have cancer in my left hip and it's very painful as well as not structurally sound, so I needed help to get up and down the steps. We looked at Acorn and a couple of others, and Bruno just kept coming up as one of the better ones. We kept hearing Bruno’s name on the internet and different people talking. Then, when we called to order it or to talk to somebody about coming out to do measurements, they were so nice and friendly. When they came out to measure, they got down to business but they were very professional. It was a pleasant experience all the way around. The interaction with the installers was great. The guy that came in was very nice and efficient. Plus, the installation was quick. He went through it with my brother and I. He was here maybe a little over an hour but it was a very nice experience. He was a good guy and it confirmed that we made the right decision.

The VA put in a lift for me that goes up the stairs and they also put a ramp in front of the house. The Bruno reps were really polite and nice. They were thoughtful and they knew all their stuff. Two people came, and they measured everything when they came in, and then they came a second time to put the lift in. It took them a few hours putting it in then checking it to make sure it’s working all right. And it worked all right. I got a curved stairlift, which goes up, then takes a turn, then it goes up the stairs the rest of the way. So now, it’s easy to go downstairs and upstairs. I’m completely satisfied with my experience.

I don’t move too well anymore at 90 years old and I live in this whole building with 14 rooms by myself and the cat because the wife died in January. I have a movie studio up on the second floor, so I need to get up there once in a while to watch a movie or do some other stuff. I got a curved stairlift from Bruno and I wish had done it sooner. I also wish I had one that go to the basement, but the way the basement stairs are installed in the building, I wouldn’t be able to shut the door.

I’m satisfied with my Bruno stairlift. I talked to their plant manager, who came over and measured, and then they built what I had to have. They then took pictures of it, and it works fine and does what it’s supposed to.

I’m a pulmonary patient and a heart patient, and I was having problems going up my stairs. I have a two-story house, and I got progressively worse in the spring. I looked in the phonebook, and the Bruno rep was in Lancaster and I called him. He was very nice. My son always requires me to get three estimates for anything I buy, and I told the rep that. But he wasn’t a salesman. He was the installer, and maybe the owner of the business. I said to my son that night, “I’m gonna go with him. He’s local and if anything’s wrong, he’s in Lancaster.”

My wife has trouble walking. She sits in a recliner then uses a walker to get out of the recliner so she can get into the wheelchair. I’m around most of the time, but if she’s alone and she has to use a stairlift. We had a different stairlift before but it wasn't a very good one. So I checked around and was told that Bruno's the best. We got a straight one from them which fits very well into our stairwell. The installers took care of things very well, except that I rather they did the rest of the house. We also had another chairlift that had two sections. There's a landing, and then there's stairs coming down, a landing and two more steps. So, we kept the other less desirable stairlift because it’s just a short span and it’s working very well.

I was looking at Acorn and Bruno, and I like Bruno better. I got the Elite stairlift and it takes a lot of room up but we do okay. I like it. I would recommend Bruno to anybody.

My wife’s handicapped and our Bruno stairlift helps us to get her up and down the stairs. I looked Bruno up on the internet, and I got this guy. I think I paid too much money, but I needed it at the time and he could deliver it. I paid twice as much as what I should’ve. I got a straight stairlift and there’s like 13 steps, and I paid 4,000 bucks. I was told by other people I could’ve gotten it for 2,000. Also, it stops when you’re trying to go up the stairs for some reason. It stops, and then you gotta play with it to get it going again. but it’s okay. It serves its purpose. I’m happy with everything about Bruno but the price.

My Bruno stairlift is doing what it's supposed to do. I love that thing! It keeps me from having to pull myself up of the rails and pull myself up with my arms, or else I'm on all fours when I walk. I needed it. I really like the mobility of it. It helped me be a lot more mobile to get up and down the stairs. I'm into the practicality of it. My doctor at the VA prescribed a stairlift, and Bruno is what the VA sent me. The sales guy from Bruno was great. He told me what the deal was. Also, the people who came here for different stages were wonderful as well. They answered all my questions.

I have COPD which is a lung disease and I can't walk very good. We went to this place, and they recommended Bruno, which was also the one we liked. The sales rep were very knowledgeable. They asked all the questions. We answered. And they came out and helped us out. They were very good. We got a straight stairlift and we have lots of room. It's got everything we need and it works good. I don't have to walk up the stairs. The lift is also easy to operate. It makes my life really easy. And it looks nice. So if you need it, buy it! I'd recommend it.

I was always falling off my stairs. I was disabled. And I had a reference from other vets regarding Bruno. I was glad Bruno came out. They were a professional and if there was anything, they would correct it. The installation team did a wonderful job. And they said if I have any questions, I can ask them. I could get up and down the stairs pretty good now. I would recommend Bruno to a friend.

I'm in a wheelchair and I have a new bathroom put in on the second floor so I got a stairlift from Bruno. The installation took 1 day. The seat wasn't quite big enough. I'm 6-ft tall and the foot plate wasn't big enough. The stairway was measured ahead of time, but my knees would hit on the newel post, and it was possible for me to get my toes stuck underneath the top stairs when it made the curve. They were talking about taking off some trim off the newel post and shaving off part of the stair. It seemed to me that all of this stuff should've been taken into account ahead of time.

I can't walk and I moved into a condo where my bedroom is upstairs. I can either eat or I can live upstairs. But if I wanna cook and eat and sleep, I need to be able to get up and down the stairs. I called Bruno and they recommended a chairlift when they saw the space I had. They measured first and I saw that they knew what I needed to have. I have animals and they're up and down the stairs and Bruno was telling me this particular chairlift has cover over the chain and it prevents the hairs from clogging up going up and down. They said that for me this was the best fit and they gave me the amount it would be. Then, once the chairlift was installed, they had me get in it and go up and talked me through everything. They made sure I was comfortable with it and knew how to work the remote. They were very nice and very friendly. They're very good to have here.

My wife has advanced Parkinson’s and was having trouble with the stairs. Bruno was introduced to me and they're a good company. The guy came and he had a brochure. He talked about various things and the aspects of the machine. I thought about it for a day or two and then ordered it. He put the order in and a while later, he came and he did photographs and sent it off. Then, he sent me the plan of how it was gonna go and there were detailed measurements. I looked at it and thought it was not gonna work and I phoned him. He came over and he pointed out some things to me. Then, we went to the showroom and he had it set up. I looked at it and I realized that I had not taken something into account. I changed my mind and decided it was tight, but it was gonna work.

I moved my mother in with me so I purchased a stairlift from Bruno. I went with them because I had them before. My experience with their sales rep was good and he explained everything really well. The installation went well too. It went really smooth and they were on time. However, I'd like the bottom half to be automatic when it comes down to the bottom so it’s not blocking the walkway. But it’s good. It works well and I’ve always been happy with it. I'm very satisfied.

A stairlift is my only way of getting down the basement because I have shoulder surgery. I looked in the phonebook and called Stannah. They came out but they couldn’t do it at all. It was too narrow. Then, I called Bruno and they came out. Fortunately, they were able to put it in and the measurements were okay. The sales rep was extremely helpful and the installer was very good. The man even removed his shoes because he saw that the steps had been newly painted. I really appreciated that. The stairlift is perfect. It’s my way of getting to the basement and I love it. I tell people it’s the best money I ever spent. It enabled me to stay in my home and recover. I highly recommend it.

When our Bruno Stairlift comes up, it hits pretty hard n the top rack. Despite this issue, we've had a good experience with the company. Their rep did a good job during the sales visit and their installers thereafter were really good too. We were having a hard time getting up and down the steps and getting the stairlift has made it much easier for me to get up and down. I highly recommend them.

My mom can’t walk up and down the steps and the Bruno stairlift was awesome. The gentleman who came with the young man shared his experience and the joy he got out of installing these things to help people get up and down the steps and move around. He was good. Once they laid the pieces out, and got all the pieces laid out and the stuff set up, it took them no time to put it in. We had an experience where we couldn’t figure out why it was beeping and I called the gentleman back, and found out there wasn’t no life on the battery. He determined that it might be something with our electricity and we figured it out without having come back out.

My father-in-law is wheelchair-bound and he couldn’t do the steps. It was very hard for him and we wanted him to be able to come. We’re Jewish and Shabbat is the one day a week that we’ll spend together. He loves to come to us and we built a bedroom for him. He needs 22 steps to get in and he wasn’t able to do it. So, we were going to him but he was a half hour away from us, which was too much for my little ones to walk in the middle of the night. So, we purchased the Bruno and this way, he can come without doing the steps. He came one week and it was really good. It was amazing that he was able to come up without climbing all of our steps. The experience has been good so far.
