Purchased a new Bosch dishwasher in July. Have had four service calls, three of which parts were exchanged. It has made the same noise since new, and has not washed dishes clean.

Neither Bosch nor the dealership seems to care. One points the finger at the other.

I emailed Lowe's and The Bosch Corp. on the problems I encountered with The Aqua star 250SX ng. I contacted both at the same time along with sending you a letter. I still have not heard anything from Bosch. Lowes contacted me very quickly. They called me today and told me to bring in the unit along with the receipt, and they would fully refund me, even after one year's time. To me, that was outstanding service on Lowe's part, and I will continue to be a loyal customer with that kind of support.

You did put my complaint against Bosch on your website; I really appreciate that. I would like to ask if you could put in there some where about Lowe's standing behind the products that they sell. Thank you very much.

My Bosch NEXXT 500 series gas dryer started to read an E:01 message in Oct. I called customer service; they told me the next available time was Nov 5. Technician comes and says there's a computer malfunction. He needs to order the part. So he comes back a week later. He opens the box, and it's the wrong part. He tells us to call customer service and reschedule; we called and they told us they won't have the part until Dec. 18. What can we do? Today is the 18th. Warren came and all of a sudden he says its not a computer problem--it's because the air-duct is clogged. He pulls out the duct connected to the machine and yes... the error message was gone. We ran a test cycle and after 10 minutes, no error message. So instead of him waiting there for an entire 40 minutes (one full dry cycle), we asked him to give us his number, and if there's a problem could he come back? He gave us his number and left. Half-hour later we realize that the regular cycle (40 min.) jumped and ended within 15 minutes. The timer was jumping minutes, top it off... the dryer was not heating properly.

I called Warren and asked him to come back and just replace the computer part he was supposed to replace (the one we've been waiting a month for). He said he won't, persistent that it's a duct problem. I called customer service, and they said if the technician says its a duct problem, then its a duct problem. I complained: well the first guy said it was a computer problem, this guy says its a duct problem...what's the next guy gonna say? Customer service says they can send another guy...the next available date is Jan. 15, 2008.

This situation has put a family of 5 without a dryer in the dead of winter. It's not like we have the option of drying our clothes outside. Customer service was immensely unhelpful. BOSCH claims they won't replace it with a working unit because the technician didn't report it as unrepairable. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. It will break on you...and you'll never get it to work again. WARRANTY MEANS NOTHING TO BOSCH.

I purchased the Bocsh AquaStar 250SX NG from Lowes in Dec. 06. It is Dec. 07, and the unit is completely useless at this point. It never operated as it was supposed to. It never had constant hot water, and had a lot of cold spots even after many quick fixes that were recommended. I have had nonstop error codes; EC and EA. The unit constantly shuts down and needs to be re-set. Recently the erroors were coming more often to the point were it would not operate at all. I called Bocsh's tech support. The first call I sat on hold for an hour and forty minutes. After a tech finally came on the phone, I was disconnected. I called back and waited yet another hour to speak with someone. After I finally was able to speak with a tech, I did all that was asked of me. I even had a new gas meter installed to get the required gas pressure and then some. I asked if they could send someone out under the warranty and was told I could hire a plumber myself and pay for it, or I could continue dealing with the techs over the phone to solve the problems. I finally got the unit working myself.

The next day I received an EO error code; the control board is now dead. I have three small children at home all under 10 years of age that had to be taken to their grandparents house for three nights to get a bath. I finally gave up and bought a Bradford White 50 gallon gas hot water tank. I now have hot water with no problems. I do believe that Bocsh and Lowe's need to be held responsible for not standing behind their products.

I lost two days of work, close to $600.00 I spent close to 2,000.00 for the unit and re-plumbing to use the unit and a little over $500.00 for the new tank.

I purchased a Bosch Nexxt washer and dryer (100 Series and 500 Series respectively) nine months ago. The door gasket has developed a slimy mildew problem. My bath towels always smell musty after being washed and dried, even though I immediately load the laundered towels into the dryer. Comforters, bedsheets, and jeans frequently become tangled and rolled into balls in the dryer. My daughter has the exact same Bosch washer and dryer. She also has the exact same problems.

The washer smells musty and the bath towels stink too. I constantly stop the dryer to untangle the big items so they can dry evenly.

I purchased a home with a 3 year old Bosch dishwasher. Immediately after we purchased home, the dishwasher started leaking. We hired a service tech through our home warranty. He looked at the dishwasher and phoned tech support for Bosch. They determined it was a leaking tub caused by spot welds. Bosch said there is no repair for this. We wrote Bosch who said they will not stand by product because it does not have a transferable warranty.

Our home warranty will not cover the dishwasher because the Bosch factory tech told the repairman that the problem was caused by faulty spot welds, a common problem Bosch is experiencing. So, even w/a home warranty, Bosch saw to it that we will not get anything for our 3 years NEW Bosch dishwasher.

I bought a Bosch washing machine. I only used it three times and while I was using it the third time, the washing machine door would not open and I could not get my clothes out. I had to call the manufacturer and not the place I bought it from because I needed a technician that the manufacturer uses to come out to repair my machine. The technician came to my home, was able to open the door and remove my clothes but had to order a part. He came again a second time and was unable to repair my machine. He is coming again to repair this machine.

I called Bosch to complain and told them I should have my machine replaced because it is a lemon and a new machine should not require any repair work. I spent over $900 for this machine and it still does not work. I called Bosch again and I told them I should receive a new machine to replace the one I have now. They refused.

I have been spending over $50 twice a week for dry cleaning because I do not have a machine to clean my work clothes. I am frustrated that a manufacturer that takes pride in their machinery would not recognize when they have a faulty machine and replace it when necessary.

I have contacted this company 3 times about a washer and dryer I have purchased with their company and the service I received in the process. No one from the company has emailed me back. My husband and I had purchased this product because it was rated #1 w/ Consumer Affairs.

Economically, i've had to be w/o a washer and dryer for 3 weeks now and have had to use other people's washer and dryer to do laundry.

Physically, I have a bad back and having to carry laundry and degergent bottles back and forth to do laundry. And i'm sure you are well aware how heavy the detergent bottles can be along with baskets of laundry.

Purchased a Bosch Nexxt washer from Lowe's in September 2005. We have had the control board replaced under warranty 4-5 times, and now it's out again, less than two months after the last replacement. We have tried every suggestion made by the technician at Alamo Service Company, to no avail. Between Bosch and its certified service provider, it has been a completely unsatisfactory and frustrating experience. No shows, people lacking the paperwork and history of the machine, having to call Bosch customer service to force the service company out to work on the machine. It's all happened. However, we can find no record of recalls or consumer complaints for this maching, though the technicians told us they have had problems.

We've had to take our laundry to a laundromat several times, costing time and money. Additionally, a set of Frette italian sheets was damaged from mildew caused by the machine quitting part way through a cycle, and not being able to unlock the door for days.

I purchased a nexxt washer and dryer less than a year ago and have been extremely dissatisfied with their reliability. I had always heard terrific things about Bosch, but now I wish I had not purchased these appliances. My dryer has had every conceivable part replaced and I fear the same problem will reoccur in about 6 months. The authorized Bosch repairman has been great and has done everything he could do. The latest fix was to replace the drum of the dryer. This seems to have rectified the ongoing dryer problem for the time being. Now my washer is not working.

I have been complaining about the Bosch washing machine since I purchased it. It does not clear properly. It does not even have enough water to rinse the dirt out of the clothes. All of my white clothes are now gray.
