I have wanted a pool for a long time - probably 20 years. I did a research on pool builders, called them, looked at some testimonials, and that's how I chose Anthony & Sylvan over the other companies. My pool is kidney-shaped and has a raised spa. I like that we have a pool which I and my children can enjoy and a place to relax which is close-by. In the beginning, my experience was a little rough because they had to find places to dump. But after they had everything excavated, everything worked out. They did the best they could and they were attentive to my needs. I’m completely satisfied with them.

I live just south of Houston and there are a lot of contractors. If I go and research a contractor, I find that a lot of them are very unstable. So it was a good reason to choose Anthony & Sylvan. My wife really wanted a pool for a long time, and she had it built. We had it done over this winter and she handled all the details with Anthony & Sylvan pretty much herself. I've been working out of the country, and she kept me well-updated.

Our neighbor was getting their pool installed and Anthony & Sylvan's little board was on their house. We talked to the neighbor about their experience with having the pool done and they were very positive about the company. We've searched for other alternatives and the other local main builder had a very bad reputation. Anthony & Sylvan has been around a long time and has lots of positive impressions. So we went with them to install our pool.

We lived in Idaho before so there really wasn't a need for a pool there. Then we moved to Las Vegas last year, built a house, and our builder recommended Anthony & Sylvan Pools, so we had them construct our pool. My project manager was amazing. He sent me texts every day, updating on what had happened with the pool, so we always knew what was going on. Our pool is free form and has a spa, which is my favorite feature. When it gets super hot, it's nice to be able to go out there and cool off.

We've wanted a pool for five years and Anthony & Sylvan Pools was a name that we've heard over those years. We got their free-form pool that goes from three feet down to nine feet. There is a sundeck ledge too, which is my favorite along with the finish of the pool. Everyone that I worked with from the company was nice and willing to help. If any small problems ever arose, they immediately jumped on the chance to make it right. They were absolutely wonderful.

I interviewed several pool companies and Anthony & Sylvan had the best package. They covered everything, plus they had a coordinator. I felt like they had the experience that I was looking for. I absolutely loved the designer. He was the first salesperson that came out and was so willing to work with us. We were very demanding in what we wanted and didn’t want, and he made it work and made multiple trips above and beyond. The project manager was there to answer questions and deal with emails. He also worked with us through text and came out numerous times and followed up with phone calls. So I felt very connected to what was going on in the project.

We went and talked to two or three different companies and Anthony & Sylvan had what sounded like the best deal for us. There’s a rock wall on one side of our pool due to the incline of the backyard which makes for a nice feature. The colors that we chose for the coping and stuff all meshed together pretty well. A small problem was communication as far as them letting us know what’s happening with the pool. For weeks we thought they were stopping by, but they weren’t stopping by with some of the subcontractors. Since we had the pool, we enjoy doing a whole lot of nothing, sitting back there in a space that we used to not use at all. I have already recommended them to a friend and he’s having them install a pool right now.

I grew up in Pennsylvania so I've heard of Anthony & Sylvan, and our landscaper recommended them. Our pool is easy to take care of and it looks great. We love it so far. Patty the scheduler was always available and the project manager would answer me back quickly whenever I texted. It's pretty pain-free. I enjoy being able to walk out the basement door and then jump in the pool. I don't have to go anywhere.

The little shallow sundeck part of our Anthony & Sylvan pool is a favorite of mine. Moreover, everything was fine with our experience and I would recommend them.

I had a pool at my previous home and when I moved, I automatically knew that I was going to put in an in-ground pool this time. We went a little back and forth with Anthony & Sylvan on the positioning of our pool, but once we got it down to the length that we wanted, they started the construction and it was great. It couldn't have been any easier once we got to that point. I loved our project manager. He was awesome and really good at his job. When I would text him, he would promptly get back to me. He made sure any little concern I had was quickly answered and resolved.

My wife had wanted a pool for a while and a friend of ours told us about Anthony & Sylvan. We got a regular pool that’s 18 by 32. The project manager and scheduling team were great. They did a good job, are available all the time, and were there all the time.

I have a free-form pool from Anthony & Sylvan. My neighbor had them and recommended them to us. I like that I can just sit around the pool relaxing and spending time with my family at the end of the day. James, the guy from Anthony & Sylvan started things off in the beginning. If we ever need anything, we can reach out to him and he always gets back to us. He was fantastic.

We wanted a pool for probably 10 years and I knew of Anthony & Sylvan because they were doing a lot of pools in the area. I called them up to get an estimate. I was very pleased with picking out all the colors and they were very helpful. All the scheduling was on time and communication was by email. When the project manager came by the house, he would call me up and I was able to meet him over there to discuss if there were questions or concerns. I’m very pleased with the pool and it has a spa. It's freeform, kidney shape and has a 130 square foot tanning ledge on it.

We seriously started considering having a pool about a year and a half ago. We met with somebody from Anthony & Sylvan's office. We had about five guys who submitted pool proposals and I really liked one. He did a good job and showed us exactly what we wanted and worked with stuff. He had the answers right away. He was able to come back and was persistent. So, when we didn't call back, he did. The scheduling team was phenomenal. One of them always went out of her way to make sure that she had communication with us when we needed to.

I have a rectangular pool which is about 14 by 30 feet by Anthony and Sylvan. It looks nice and is very functional. Their manager, Scott was great. He stopped by, texted, emailed and kept me up-to-date on everything. The project moved so fast and got done quickly which was great. I enjoy the ease of going to our backyard to swim in the pool.

My wife talked me into getting a pool and when I did a research, a lot of pool companies haven't been around long except for Anthony & Sylvan. We had them install a free-form pool that does not have a spa at the end of last summer. I've only gone swimming twice but summer is getting close now and we're excited about the pool. It's beautiful.

Anthony & Sylvan built our pool with a dive rock, and we love it. This is the first season that we have it and it's beautiful. The sales rep, Mike, got the information to match us to what we were looking for and what needs we had. Then he started working very closely with the project manager, Jeremy, with regard to getting the project started. Jeremy followed it all the way through and kept us in the loop with all things. He came on the site to make sure that things were moving forward like they were supposed to. He was great and on top of everything. I would recommend Anthony & Sylvan.

Our past pool was an Anthony & Sylvan pool. We moved and didn’t have a pool, and had been wanting one for five years. We now have an Anthony & Sylvan free-form pool with the sheer descent cascade. I like everything about our pool, but the sheer descent is my favorite. It's a good place for the family and friends to hang out and enjoy. Jeremy and Doug did a great job. I'd recommend them to anybody who’s getting a pool. They are very professional, accommodating and they know their job through and through.

Our builder recommended Anthony & Sylvan. We had them install a geometric shaped pool with a spa. I like how the pool goes with the house and looks like it should be there. The project manager was very knowledgeable about what was going on and made sure that everything went on the way it should've went. I've had to talk to him a few times since then and he's always been there, answered questions, and helped out whenever I needed anything.

Sylvan built our pool in '78 and we had it renovated. Everybody from their team, from the design consultant to the people who handled scheduling and coordination, has been very nice and helpful. They replastered the pool and it came out very nice. We like the new surface and it looks like new again.

We had a friend who used Anthony & Sylvan for their pool and they were really satisfied with them. So we stick into them and compared them to other companies and they gave us the best value. We got a pool and its spa is my favorite. The pool is a mix of freeform and geometric and I really love all of it. I enjoy being able to be home and enjoying that family time at home. All of the interactions we had with the project manager and scheduling team were really positive and even when we had things that we were concerned about, they addressed them quickly and appropriately, and we always came up with a good solution together. Thus, we’ve already recommended them to other people.

Anthony & Sylvan were the builder of the pool in the previous house that I had so I got a freeform pool with the water feature from them. I like the overall appearance such as the design, layout, materials and construction like the tile and accent. Everything was good with their team such as the scheduling. They showed up whenever they were scheduled to. Any time they were running on any kind of delay, they stayed in communication and rescheduled. Overall, it was a good experience. I look forward to spending time with the family in the pool.

Our pool was built in 2000 originally by Anthony & Sylvan and renovated in 2015. We did a lot of our interactions with the consultant over the phone and by internet. He came out and measured, and we redid the pool to its original condition using the same original colored tile and coping. Everything was very professional and each department seemed to work together. They knew what was coming next and once we got started, it clicked right along. The pool looks better now than it did when it was originally built. It’s clean-looking and a very nice job. They were very neat and tidy when they were working around there, and it looks brand new.

A friend had a pool installed by Anthony & Sylvan and referred us to them. We also looked at several companies but they offered the best warranty and seemed to be the best customer service. Any problem that came up during the installation, they resolved or compensated us for any mistakes. Even after our two problems, they’ve resolved quite quickly. Anthony & Sylvan has been great, and we’ve been very pleased. We have a place where our kids can swim and not have to go to the subdivision pool.

My wife had done research on the internet, and she found that Anthony & Sylvan was a nationwide company and thought that that would be something to go with since they have an established credibility. Moreover, if we need any warranty repairs, the company would still be in business. When you’re getting a pool, you talk with them throughout the entire course of the pool building. First the project manager comes out and explains what they’re going to do and how they’re going to do it, the approximate schedule and what to expect and what not to worry about and went from there. The scheduling was handled by him also.

My wife has wanted a pool for over 25 years. When we saw Anthony & Sylvan at a home and garden show, we got them to come out. Then we spoke with some people that had used them also and had good results. We got a geometric sports pool and my wife likes to lay in the sun, relax, and take it easy. For me, I like it because it’s a pool that I can use to entertain and do activities in. It's easy to play volleyball and swim laps so it works out well. Jeremy was our project manager and he was helpful and good to work with. Some of the crews were a little messy but most of them were very good. They were responsive, especially Jeremy. They ran into problems with scheduling because of the weather and they tried to do the best they could but they fell behind on some respects. Overall, the experience was good and I would recommend them to someone else.

My wife and I have never had a pool and we've wanted one for a long time. We lived in California long ago so the weather was cooler and if we wanted water, we’d go to the beach. But we’ve always thought about a pool, and now we have one. In our transition over here to Las Vegas, we contacted different pool companies in the area and Anthony & Sylvan was the one.

When we were going to build this house last August or September, we knew we’d put another pool in. I looked up Anthony & Sylvan through the internet and saw that they had a favorable rating from good customers. The pool we got is a free-form with a spa. They designed it to fit the yard. We told them how much space we wanted to save and they adjusted it. They had some suggestions for us based on what we were using it for, like for our grandchildren, as far as depth went. They put in a sun shelf and also offered to put in some extra holes to put umbrellas in to shade our grandbaby. I like the way it looks and the ease of taking care of it.

We replaced our old pool with one from Anthony & Sylvan. We got a freeform pool that is 650 in size and I like the automated system that it has. I had to stay on the scheduling and project teams a lot to make them do what they said they were going to do. They ended up doing everything, but I'd always have to call and follow up. If they were telling me that they were going to do something, it wouldn't happen. The scheduler, Patty, was very good. She met some of the subcontractors. Sometimes they would show up and sometimes they wouldn't. The project manager, Ray, is a very nice person and I liked him. But he had appeared to have too many things going on, and sometimes I'd have to track him down because he wouldn't get back to me or show up when he said he would.

Anthony & Sylvan was a referral from a neighbor, a friend. It was a combination of the salesperson, the designer and the price as well that led us to get a free-form pool from them. I like the design, the tranquility of the sound of the waterfall and the very nice size because it's a large pool. The project manager was very proactive, took time to address any of our concerns and handled any problems that came about. The number one thing I enjoy about the pool is watching the kids and their friends swimming and playing.

I heard about Anthony & Sylvan through a friend. I did research online, read reviews, and we also interviewed them and five other companies. We thought that Anthony & Sylvan has been around for quite awhile. The scheduling team was great and very conducive to my scheduling. I had changes a couple of times and they were very flexible with that. But for the most part, we accepted the schedule. If anybody did not wash the place, we always contacted them. I love the project manager, Jeremy. He's a great and nice guy. They treat every customer much the same way, but would do better by individualizing a little more. I'm in the business of developing companies, professionals, and leaders, so I look at things differently. I was more needy and wanted more contact, but they weren't picking up on that.

Anthony & Sylvan built my pool in 1988 because my art teacher from high school worked for them. I loved him as an art teacher so he designed my pool and I really love it. But it was time for its renovation. I wanted something new. I was redecorating my house and I wanted to redecorate my pool as well. I wanted to change the color and coping.

I bought a house that had an Anthony & Sylvan pool built about 9 years ago, so I had them come out to service it. They did the tiles and the coping but my experience with them was less than pleasant.

We’ve had other houses and pools and we had a pool by Anthony & Sylvan previously so we wanted a pool by them again. We have a free-form pool, medium-sized, and doesn’t really have many features. We wanted something basic and simple. There’s no spa but it’s perfect for the yard that we’re in at this house. The pool was part of the transformation in the backyard and the best thing is being able to use the whole yard. Having the pool creates a backyard that we want to go spend time in and it gives the ability to go outside in the summer when it’s super-hot out. We can just jump in the pool, especially with the heat in the desert in Henderson, Las Vegas.

I had an above ground pool for the past couple of years, so I always wanted a pool. I had people come out and give me bids and the salesman from Anthony & Sylvan seemed the most honest and gave me the lowdown about everything, so we chose them. And a friend of mine that lives out there in the subdivision that we do got a pool from Anthony & Sylvan put in. Our pool that we had them do is free form and it has a bar with four barstools on one side. It also has a table inside the pool and two barstools to sit on.

The pool was originally an Anthony & Sylvan and was constructed sometime between 76 and 77. We did a competitive bid process with three different companies for the pool renovation, but knowing that Anthony & Sylvan was the original construction agent of the pool, it allowed us to go with them after we received the quotes even though they weren't the cheapest one. The quality and craftsmanship and reputation of Sylvan definitely sealed the deal for us.

We've known about Anthony & Sylvan because my parents had a pool from them when I was younger. I got mine from them, too, and it's an 18 x 36 rectangular pool and in-ground. I like the flagstone coping of it. It was put in late in October and the project manager was very quick and responsive. He was always there to answer my questions when I'd call or text message him. I am very pleased.

We wanted to get a reputable pool builder to build our pool right. I lived in Houston and I've heard of Anthony & Sylvan many years ago. I didn’t know they were in the New Braunfels area but when I was searching for pools online and saw that they were, I met up with their salesman. Our pool is not a very big one because we didn’t have enough yard for it. All we wanted was a cocktail pool which is just a small pool that we can sit in, get wet, and eat. It’s rectangular in shape and it has a long, shallow first step for the grandkids to play in. We love our pool. It’s got a waterfall which I also love. If I had it my way, I’d buy a waterfall because I love the sound of the water. I also like the idea that Anthony & Sylvan put a colored light in there, so it changes colors. It makes it very pretty and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We just haven’t been able to get in the pool yet and we’re looking forward to that day.

I went to the internet and looked up pool companies. I saw the number of years that Anthony & Sylvan had been in business and was impressed by that. Our project manager was excellent and I was very happy with him. The scheduling team was fine as well. They were good in notifying us when the crew might not be there on the exact day.

I remember Anthony & Sylvan Pools from when I was a kid back on the East Coast before they became Anthony & Sylvan. I've been wanting a pool for about 30 years and I got one from them late last year. It's rectangular in shape and has steps going down. It’s a very attractive-looking pool with the finish that was put on it, the coloring in the bottom and everything else. It matches the house and the patio that we have surrounding it. We haven't used it since the swim season isn't here yet but everybody from Anthony & Sylvan Pools' salesperson to the project manager to the features people were all very good and very cooperative. I could depend on them. The follow-up was excellent, too.

We've always had a pool, but have not had one for eight years, so I surfed the net and looked for local or original pool builders. I went with Anthony & Sylvan because they were a corporation. I didn't have to deal with one individual contractor that was going to do the same thing that a corporate company would do. I felt better with their each individual independent contractor versus having a contractor that was going to sub out everything.

Anthony & Sylvan did not rectify to my satisfaction issues with the quality of work that was done. Sent workers to make repairs that did not speak English, hence, I was not able to communicate with them as to what needed to be done. Bad experience from the beginning with this pool builder. Would take too long to say all the problems we encountered. When I wrote truths about our issues on the internet, Anthony & Sylvan would delete them so no one else would be able to see them. For the past 2 years, we have been using a local pool dealer for any of our pool needs. One of our neighbors went to another pool builder after seeing how Anthony & Sylvan did to our pool. Good for them!

A&S has resolved every issue on my pool and I am 100% satisfied with their customer service and fixing the issue. I would highly recommend them.

One of the LED bubblers went out about 13 month after pool was built. I called the warranty department who informed me that bubbler was covered for 1 year only and they are sticking with warranty limitation (the usual answer/run-around you get from pool builders when you have a problem...I have never in my life seen an LED light giving up this quickly and even so Anthony & Sylvan should have stood behind their work/craftsmanship and put some effort to fix the issue). I spent over $65K for my pool and the least the builder could have done is take care of this problem and not give me the run-around about warranty period (not like I reported an issue 2 years later). I will remember this bad experience the next time I build a pool (will not be long).

We ended up choosing Anthony & Sylvan because Jay, our sales rep, was very personal. Even when we didn't make a decision and added more questions, he always took time to explain everything and he didn't rush selling the pool to us. He tried to help us understand it and I felt there was trust. Throughout the process their team kept us up-to-date (through calls and emails) and let us know what's coming next and what to expect. They were always available for any questions. They're a great and understanding team. It was a good experience from the sales part and trying to understand if we really wanted a pool and if we want Anthony & Sylvan to construct it, all the way through the process of construction to completion.

We got a freeform pool with a spa from Anthony & Sylvan and chose them on their reputation. I like the geometry of the pool and I enjoy utilizing it and entertaining family and friends. The salesman was extremely helpful.

We had Anthony & Sylvan install our rectangular pool with a deck. I have two young sons and I know we’ll get a lot of good use with them playing in the pool. The manager and the people from scheduling were very good. They stayed in constant communication, gave me feedback, and let me know what the status was on a daily basis. They did a great, great job.

We discussed exactly what we wanted with Anthony & Sylvan's consultant, and he came over very dutifully and brought some samples of the materials that we would use. We looked at them and then chose what we wanted. Now our pool looks completely different than how it looked before. They replastered it and put new border tiles, and now it looks brand new even though it's not. It certainly adds some decor and vibrancy to our backyard.

Anthony and Sylvan built my pool in the fall of 1998. I chose them once for renovation when I needed the pool resurfaced and I had some other work done. And then I had bigger problems with the tiles. I have a wall at the end of an all-night pool cover that goes on and off and I have a raised spa alongside of the pool. I've also had two other entities that I dealt with loose tiles that I tried to have it corrected but ended up not too great. So this was a little bit bigger job. The ones that I had been dealing with told me I'd have to do the tile work of the entire pool all the way around the inside which I find ridiculous because there's absolutely nothing wrong with the tiles on two of the walls. I thought they just wanted to rob me off of my money. So, I called and inquired with Anthony & Sylvan, then they came out and took a look at it.

Anthony & Sylvan did my free-form pool without a spa, and the water sheer was my favorite. I would recommend them.

The pool was vintage 1978 initially built by Sylvan. I had it painted a few times. The work done was a joke because the paint it had had a lot of pin holes in it so it was leaching through the paint. That's why I had it redone. In the last eight years or so, I had to re-put the tile back up that the ice kept breaking free. There is a deal of the chemicals that attacked the concrete, so that’s an overall problem. Also, I have to paint my walkway so I had to get information on what paints are available because it’s discolored in many places.

I started researching pool builders in our area and interviewed different ones and decided that Anthony & Sylvan was the best fit for what we needed. Our pool is mostly geometric with a little bit of freeform but we’ve opted for no spa. It is about 42,000 gallons so it’s roughly 25 x 40 with a 10-foot deep end. We have a sitting bar area inside the pool and so we spend a lot of time hanging out at that end. The project manager was on the spot anytime we had issues. After our plaster job, he noticed that the people who came in and did the plastering did not do a satisfactory job. He helped us in getting it replastered. He went way beyond what he had to do. Our pool was built last Spring and we’re still in contact with them. We just talked to them the other day because they've become a part of our daily life.

We’ve owned a pool in every home we’ve ever had and within the 10 years that we've used Anthony & Sylvan, we were very pleased. So when we bought a new home, there was no question as to who we were going to use. Our new pool is free-form with a spa and we like its self-cleaning function. We made this pool a little bit smaller than our last one but it is practically maintenance-free.

I shopped in all the pool stores in San Antonio and I used two different pool companies in the past, but I went with Anthony & Sylvan because their salesperson was very informative. He told me the processes of how they build things and the cost, and gave us analysis. He was really informative and never pressured us to make the sale. He was always patient. Our pool has a spa and I like that it is low maintenance and it’s big. Jeff the project manager came every week and kept us informed. After we purchased the pool, he made some recommendations for the coping that we picked. He didn't think that was the best type for the pool so he showed a better one and they didn't raise the price.

Anthony & Sylvan has been wonderful to deal with. We have friends of the family who also had a pool built by them and their satisfaction level and recommendation was the reason we went with Anthony & Sylvan. Last summer, there was a major amount of flooding in Austin, TX and their team started to build the pool right before all the flooding started to happen. The project manager and scheduler had to really go the extra mile to ensure that the pool would be completed in a decent amount of time despite the weather issues and delays it would cause. They stayed on top of it to ensure that we would be satisfied with both the product and time frame to have it completed.

I had an Anthony & Sylvan pool in a prior house that why I chose them to build me a new pool. This new one is a long, rectangle pool with a swimming lane and a spa. I haven't really used it that much because the weather has been cold, but it's been great. I'm looking forward to jumping in when it's 95 degrees in Charlotte, and just enjoying the time there with my family. The representatives were all very positive and proactive, and they kept me very well informed during the installation. It was generally a good experience, that's why I've already recommended them.

Anthony & Sylvan Pools is the best of the best and I love our free form pool made by them. There’s nothing about it I don’t like. I like the way that they handled when I wanted extra stuff and they just made me realize how useless it would be for me. I had no single complaint with them. With the scheduling team, there's also no problem. Any time I called the project manager, he got right back with me. If I had to do it all over again, I’m going through them. Even after the pool was completed, they still checked up on me and made sure I was happy with everything. The service is excellent. I even put them on our community website for anybody that wanted a pool.

We love everything about our new pool by Anthony & Sylvan. It's what we wanted - has a spa and is kidney-shaped. All our life, we never had a pool and we finally got one. Their salesman was more professional and everything they did was a lot more professional too. Also, the price was what we're looking for, so everything was planned into it. The manager and their scheduling team were very good. Every time they said they were going to do something, they did it. The manager did a follow-up email every time we had contact. Even if it was to say 'good morning', he would send an email referring we had a conversation. So, it was all above board and all good. With our new pool, we now have a place to go and jump in when it gets so hot.

A friend of mine referred Anthony & Sylvan to me so I had them build me a geometric pool with a spa. I love its size and design.

My grandmother had a pool so growing up, I always wanted to have one too. We called five different companies and got people to come out from three of those companies to give us estimates. With Anthony & Sylvan, we felt more secure in their technical knowledge of what they presented, and they were in line with other costs so we decided to go with them. Their manager and the scheduling team were readily available by phone and email whenever we needed them. We have them install the free-form shape pool with a spa and gunite (pebble tech inside). It has a saltwater system and I love the saltwater. It also has a ledge with the stairs, so there’s a real shallow end that kids can play in and the grown-ups can get in and out easily without having a ladder.

Anthony & Sylvan has good reviews online so we got our free form pool installed by them. I like the pool's shape, the steps and the water feature. I had good interactions with the project manager and their scheduling team. Everything was on time.

I have a pool with an attached Jacuzzi that has a waterfall going in. It is 16 years old and Anthony & Sylvan were the ones that built it. I looked to see if they did renovations. I then saw the work that they did and it just made sense to use someone like Anthony & Sylvan. I was very satisfied with them the first call around. The woman that I was dealing with laid out the number of days when they would be there. They showed up on a Tuesday morning just as she promised. They took down all the tile work first. She told me the next day there would be another team, and they were there, got the new tile in and prepped the body of the pool. Then they had to wait one day before they could deal with it.

For three years, I've been wanting to have a pool, and I saw Anthony & Sylvan Pools when they had a display set up at the Charlotte Spring Home and Garden show. While we were building our new home, we had interviewed three different pool builders and decided to go with Sylvan. Ray was our project manager, and he was very helpful with the things that we’ve had to deal with. Patty did our scheduling and she was very helpful anytime we had any questions. We got a kidney shaped pool without a spa, and it's 15,000 gallons and 550 square feet.

The project manager was very receptive to my phone calls and emails, and the one who organized all the different contractors throughout the process. When there are many contractors working on a timeline, I want to make sure that they are there if they say they are going to be there, and they always were. The project manager always got back to me and whenever I had any questions or concerns, I would call him.

Our project manager and our scheduling team were great. We had a lot of rain during our fall-winter season here in South Carolina, and they worked well to get around all that, trying to keep everything on schedule as much as they could. They've been responsive to get any problems we've had corrected. We've had a couple of problems with the concrete, as well as some drainage issues and some of the grading issues. Both the project manager and the scheduler have been great getting everyone back out to get it corrected and get everything fixed the way it needs to be fixed, so they've done a great job.

We’ve had a pool at every house we’ve lived in and we had Anthony & Sylvan do a pool for us in Virginia. It’s free-formed with a spa. I like the new colors of the tiles. In the olden days, it seems like all the tiles were very flashy and this is very earth toned and just fits into the yard perfectly. They have an incredible team. The scheduling manager worked with us and everything she scheduled were here on time. Our project manager was excellent. My husband had two things that he felt needed attention and the project manager was out and took care of both problems immediately. Both of them were excellent to work with. One of the district managers called to check on it and we told them how happy we were. I'm looking forward to meeting more of our neighbors and being able to really enjoy summer at our home. Overall, we’ve had a good experience.

I have wanted a pool for about five years and I chose Anthony & Sylvan because of their reputation. I have a few friends that had pools built by them and I’ve always seen their advertisements since I was a kid and knew they were a really good pool company. I have them built a very pretty free-form gunite pool that does not have a spa. The color we chose was like a navy blue and it had a very natural look to it.

We've had pools in the past and we decided that we would put one in the house we’re living in now. This would be our third pool. Anthony & Sylvan has been in business for a long time and I’ve seen their name around forever. They have a location that’s near our house and it was convenient to go into their storefront to discuss with them what our desire was and what they could fulfill. We got the free-form pool from them, and I like the size, which is not very large. It’s considered a cocktail pool. We can swim laps in it, but it doesn’t take up our entire yard. It’s not overly cumbersome to maintain and does not take a lot of time.

Anthony & Sylvan did for us a fresh water pool with no spa. It got some curves to it, a deep and shallow end, and it’s got a diving board. It was finished sometime in October and we really haven’t had the chance to use it yet because the weather hasn’t been right. But we’re getting into that season and we're honestly looking forward to using it. Their staff were fairly attentive to our needs. When we had questions, they were good to respond. They seem to do a good job. We were pleased with everything. Hopefully, it’s relaxing and that my wife and grandkids would enjoy it. We're just waiting for summertime to get here where we can spend some time with it.

Anthony & Sylvan was recommended by some of our neighbors we've talked to who have pools. Of all the people who had talked to us, we were most comfortable with them and the answers they provided us. Our pool is a free-form with small water feature. It’s not a diving pool. Every interaction we had with them was amazing. If we have questions, it weren’t during scheduled meetings. Anthony & Sylvan worked hard with us to get our chlorine and ozone, free-form pool in our very narrow backyard. It was finished in November. It's a nice place to relax outside and the kids get some exercise. They spend more time in it than I do. Steve, the project manager, was good and always on top of it. They finished right when they said they would be done. They had people out here everyday except when it rained and got done on time. They also responded when we had issues It's been exactly what we expected. The pool is a great place to have friends over and not be sitting around the house, especially during summertime, they've got things to do.

Our pool from Anthony & Sylvan is geometric. It's a saltwater system and has Pebble Tec for the surface. We have a few hundred square feet of paver stones around it. During installation, we were in touch with their team frequently. Patty was very good about keeping us on top of when various jobs were going to be on site and what the next stage was and how long it would be. She worked with us on our schedule. The project manager was on site very frequently. Checked with our satisfaction, took pictures, double checked the work that had been done, and followed up after the completion of the install. We had an issue with the robot vacuum cleaners, and he came out and checked it. Actually fixed it himself. The guy that came out for pool school was also very helpful. Taught us everything we needed to know and then came out a second time to make sure we remembered it all.

Our pool is a free-form that was designed to fit the design of our house and our backyard. It's a very refreshing way to live in South Carolina, and it's quite warm here so it's nice to be able to walk out of our backyard, and go right in and enjoy it. It goes from three feet to eight feet so it offers a little something for everyone in our family. We had many interactions with the staff both via email and telephone. They were very confident when they were designing our pool. The project management team was very thorough and communicated very well with us throughout the whole process.

It does not have a hot tub and it’s not saltwater because we had travertine as a decking and they recommended the saltwater might damage the travertine over time. Anthony & Sylvan built the pool for its original owner and it is about ten years now. I recently had it renovated. We discussed the whole thing with Anthony & Sylvan, agreed on the color and design, and they did the replaster. The rep was great. She emailed me somewhat regularly to go over what was going to happen and how it was going to happen. She was very helpful as well as the guy that I originally met with.

However he would randomly show up and not give us any notice. We'd also get an email after the fact that he's been here and he knows we had some questions. He knew I was home but he won't be as communicative as I would have liked.

I wanted a pool with the construction of my brand new home. Anthony and Sylvan was builder-recommended and was the only company that would do an escrow holdback for the pool to be built so I went with them and got the free-form with a spa. They did everything I asked for and incorporated my design - they did an initial design and I made some changes. So we have a higher backsplash on the back edge of the pool waterfall and the spa waterfall. I also talked with the project manager, Skye, daily especially during their site checking. My Anthony & Sylvan pool got turned on sometime in September and it was pretty cool. So far, I’ve enjoyed the spa and the waterfall. It’s wonderful having that out in my backyard. But the project manager that I got in the beginning was hard to get in touch with and didn’t return calls really well. I've wanted a pool for a couple of years before we finally decided to purchase it. Anthony & Sylvan has been building pools in our area for a long time. In fact, one of their parent companies built my grandparents' pool 30 or so years ago. And so they're one of the companies we knew we wanted to get an estimate from in the beginning. The pool we got from them was both geometric and free-form. Our yard is narrow so they had it customized to the shape of the yard. It does have a spa and a tanning ledge and the spa is our favorite.

We have a geometric pool with a raised spa, with three waterfalls attached and a couple of back jets. It looks pretty cool. When they first started building the pool, we had some positive interactions. Everybody was particularly with the schedulers. They were really on-time and accurate, getting everything scheduled and good to go.

My wife took a bad fall and the doctor said that in order for her to heal properly she needs to have the asset of a pool. It's a necessity. We have a lap pool made by Anthony & Sylvan. It's about 10 by 36 and got steps that go on it. There's a small patio that surrounds it. It was done in a very pristine way. Follow-up, all the way down to the details of cleaning up a couple of spots to cover out some overspray from the gunite, this company's a top-shelf company. All the interactions with the people were extremely professional. From getting the whole dug to getting the rebar blade, they have an excellent team. The subcontractors are very polite. Jeff and Jason were reliable, professional and exceptional from the time they laid down the proposal to the negotiation. They consider the environment, my house and my property.

My wife wanted a pool for about 10 years. Anthony & Sylvan is very reputable and I saw them on the internet as one of the primary builders in Virginia so I chose them. We had multiple interactions with the project manager and the scheduling team throughout the process. Even when it was perceived that there was a little delay, the project manager was very responsive to our calls and addressed any concerns immediately. My favorite about the pool is the quality of the construction and it's easy to maintain with the salt water system. It’s 16 by 40 and 8-foot depth at the deep end and we simply enjoy it very much.

When Anthony & Sylvan did the construction of the pool, they had several groups responsible for a different aspect of the construction and each one of those groups did a very nice job. Also, the project manager was always easy to get in touch with. I like the pool but my only complaint was the length of time for the construction which started April 29th and we couldn’t use it until after Labor Day. Overall, the pool really adds to the outside and there’s a pretty patio around it so it looks very inviting.

My girlfriend has been wanting a pool for several years and we went with Anthony and Sylvan because one of our neighbors down the street had one put in by them and he was happy with it. Their sales rep came out and did a great job explaining and the price was a factor too. It was also in line with what we expected and we were impressed with the warranty on the pool. It was better than anyone else. We got an oasis style pool that has a spa with a spillway and it's nice. It's a smaller one which was what we wanted and it has two water features. However, the initial project manager we were supposed to have for the project left, so we had to use a different one from the north side. He did a great job, though and he communicated well on the phone. But other than that, we're looking forward to entertaining with our pool when family members come for a get-together party in spring, summer and fall.

My brother referred me to Anthony & Sylvan because he had used them in the past. Our pool that we have them made is rectangle and it does have a spa, a sun deck and fountains. I like that it's a sport pool where the deep end is in the center and shallow one on either side. I’m finding that being real perfect for our family. One of my neighbors and one of my friends had pools installed by Anthony & Sylvan, and we liked the way their pools looked and the amount of time it only took to have them completed, so we got one for us, too. I did a free-form originally and I didn't like it after they drew it on the ground, so we went back to the drawing board. They were more than happy to do that and we went back and re-did the entire form of the pool. In hindsight, it was the best decision because the pool looks beautiful in the backyard. It's great to have something where we can come over and sit around and go in, jump in and do all that. That's great entertainment for my kids. I personally love having a Jacuzzi in my backyard where I can soak my bones. And it looks great since it adds so much to the backyard.

Anthony & Sylvan gave us the price we wanted and the design of the pool that we were interested in. We wanted more swim room where we could swim around and play volleyball. The pool is in our backyard and it's beautiful. They finished the patio out beautifully. We have a place to cool off and can get in it whenever we want to. Anthony & Sylvan's staff was awesome. They kept us informed of what things are going to be done and when they are going to be done. It took a little bit longer than we were anticipating but it was going into winter anyway so it wasn't a big deal.

The project manager, scheduling team, as well as the salesman from Anthony & Sylvan were great. We love everything about our pool. It's low maintenance so we don't have to do a lot with it, and it turned out really good. We're ready for the summer.

My pool from Anthony & Sylvan is a free form with saltwater and waterfall system. I like its size, shape, and appearance. The waterfall is great. I had two different project managers. I dealt mostly with the second guy and most of the works have been done under him. He was awesome and did a great job. When I had problems, he jumped in and made things happen. I was impressed with him. Their team was responsive. Things got done very synchronized and there were no surprises.

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law had a pool put in by Anthony & Sylvan two years previously from mine and I heard good things. I didn't one want a pool for a long time because I've taught swimming and I was in the sun all the time. Then I decided I wanted one as I'm enjoying it again. The guy who sold it to us had the geometric shape figured out and we have it positioned perfectly from the front porch from our barn. It has a waterfall. I told our salesman Bill that I wanted to be able to swim laps. He said that it was a good lap pool, and that it was three and a half feet deep in the shallow and five or five and a half feet in the deep.

We have been writing to your co. for several months now, and to this date no one from Head Office has contacted us to face the facts of the repair work that we feel your co. is committed to providing under its LIFETIME WARRANTY. We keep getting the runaround, no answers, no plan of action, etc. etc. We followed your instructions to the letter: We obtained a specialist's technical report, with the company you instructed us to contact, and they certified (as we knew all along) that the pool shell is cracked and defective. We are still awaiting your answer as to the bigger question of when will A&S send their technicians to repair our pool.

Our pool made by Anthony & Sylvan is free form and it’s a nice pool. I like the way it’s designed. Everything about it is what we wanted. It's good for relaxation. The project manager and scheduling team of Anthony & Sylvan were all very good. When we first met the salesman he was very helpful. He came out several times and helped us locate the pool and design it with Jeff. And with all the scheduling, they were pretty good on their timing and everything they did. We were very happy with the whole process. I have recommended them.

Anthony & Sylvan had the best comments and testimonials, including the Better Business Bureau and ConsumerAffairs. Our project manager was great, very informative, always in touch and constantly sending me updates and pictures. I have a six year old and he really enjoys the water. That was my main reason for getting it. The pool is a free form with spa and chlorine system sanitation. Having the pool makes us look forward to the outdoor family fun, the aspect of it being able to just to take a dip with the family and hang out in the backyard. Basically, it's been a lot of fun at home.

I have a swimming pool which was built by B&B Pools, but for the renovation, I went with Anthony & Sylvan because they had local offices. The design consultant was helpful in helping us choose the renovation. Remodeling was done on the interior, which was plastered and retiled. I had some miscommunication with the scheduling team in the beginning but they seemed better as time went on. We like the look of the pool very much and found that changing the type of interior finish seemed to increase the temperature in the pool. We've had the pool for 20 years, and even though we've had much hotter summers over the past 20 years, it's never been as warm as this past summer. The increase in pool water temperature was unusual but turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

A friend of mine said Anthony & Sylvan were the best so, I went with them. They built the pool which is now, already 14 years old. The renovation design consultant initially met me. We've had a couple of conversations over the phone and then he met us at the house. And then, he was able to walk us through the process, gave us some recommendations on what to do, how re-design or how to re-plaster an old pool, walked us through a lot of what I would call different actions that we have.

A neighbor recommended Anthony & Sylvan and we had them do a 35 by 18 feet rectangular pool. All my interactions with their people have been very positive. The kids really enjoy the pool in the summertime.

Our swimming pool is 28 years old and was built by Anthony & Sylvan. They were the one who put the original pool in and I was very happy with it so I wanted to go with them again for the renovation. The renovation design consultant was phenomenal. I had a problem at one point then I called him and he had called me right back and got right on it. He went way and above board for anything that he had to do. For the remodel, we ripped out the whole plastering and the tile work. The team was very precise in the time that they were coming and they were here when they said they would be and so I was very happy with that. Now, the pool looks so beautiful and it’s like a brand new pool.

We went with Anthony & Sylvan after we have interviewed about six different pool companies. Our pool is a free-form, about 19 by 32 with the raised spa. I love how it looks and the way it fits in our backyard. Their project manager wasn't always the most helpful and knowledgeable. On the other hand, their scheduler did the best he could but what made the whole experience was our salesperson, Aaron. He was awesome.

I've wanted a pool forever and when we went to a home show, there were lots of different pool companies there so we narrowed it down to three and we chose Anthony & Sylvan. We got a free-form pool that has a tanning ledge and a waterfall. I like that it’s easy to take care of and it’s right there in the backyard for only about thirty steps from the house. I'm looking forward to having people over to use it. In addition, everybody from their project manager to the scheduling team was really, really nice. They did what they said they were going to do and it’s all good. Everything was done pretty much on time despite the weather and other stuff they couldn’t foresee.

Our mountain lake pool was done in 1982 and it was just Anthony then. Tony was the first person we dealt with originally in 1982. He was still with them and he helped us with our renovation. He was very organized, super helpful and everything was handled in one day. We got what we wanted. They tore the whole thing apart, re-plastered it and fixed everything so it looks like brand new and I can't wait until this winter is over.

We've wanted a pool since we bought our house which was about ten years ago. Anthony and Sylvan was referred to us by some of our friends whose pools were built by them, so we chose them as well. We've had quite a bit of interaction with their project manager and scheduling team, and we got a free-form pool without a spa. We put a tanning ledge, cocktail table, and a waterfall (I love the table and waterfall). Since having it, we've been looking forward to the hot weather and the fact that we redid our backyard, so we have big patio for it and an outdoor kitchen. It makes it nice to have everything in the backyard.

I've wanted a pool my whole life and got one from Anthony & Sylvan based only on reviews. It is chlorinated freeform pool, pretty basic, no spa. It fits perfectly in the backyard, maximizing the limited space I have. They built a nice, little kind of a sun deck where you can lay out on the step. They also have sand concrete decking included in the price. One can pick regular decking or sand concrete and others that companies often offer. Their selection was easy. They all included a bunch of different tiles for upgrade. On top of that, their equipment were neat, all are top of the line and an upgrade in any other companies that I've talked to. The project manager would check in and send pictures three to four times a week every time anything new was done. He and the sales guy would get back to me promptly if I had questions. I'm looking forward escaping the heat as it's pretty hot here in the summer.

I love the outdoors, having friends over and enjoying and spending time at the pool. I wanted one for many years and when I was doing some research on the computer, I came across Anthony & Sylvan. They responded and got back with us through the computer, then I got a new saltwater pool with a spa. We went through about three project managers as we were building the pool and they were all good. We had some miscommunication with the second one and things got delayed on account of that but that was the only problem we’ve had.

Anthony & Sylvan built our pool in 2001. We weren't the original homeowners, though. We recently had it tiled and coped. The individual who came to our home was timely and knowledgeable. He described the process, showed us examples and provided good feedback to the initial process. However, the interactions with the people that scheduled and coordinated the pool renovation wasn't the best. I was told they would come on a certain time and they didn't. No one would follow-up to tell me they weren't coming. I would have my pool drained and ready, and it turns out we were pushed off a week. I understand that weather happens, but a follow-up phone call should have been made. Nonetheless, the renovated pool is beautiful. It looks the way we wished for it to and exactly as described. I'd recommend Anthony & Sylvan.

Anthony & Sylvan did my earlier pool and I was happy with their work. They were very professional about it. They know exactly what was going to happen and kept us informed every step of the way, and that was important to me. It played out that way again when I purchased my new pool. It is a kidney-shaped pool that's got interesting new features like waterfalls and a little kiddie or a paddle area. The project manager and scheduling team were great. Every time we called and had a question about what was going to happen next, they're always very prompt about getting back to us and giving us the information we needed. Oftentimes even if we didn't call, they would call and let us know what's happening and were always very helpful. We were very happy with everything.

We had Anthony & Sylvan install our salted pool with a spa. Their project manager and scheduling team were very good and fast at answering anything. I will recommend them.

My pool is a little about 17 years old and Anthony Sylvan built it. Recently, they did a replaster and I'm very happy with it.

We've wanted a pool for a few years and I chose Anthony & Sylvan to build it for us because of their quality and price. We have a free-form pool without a spa but with the little kiddie area which is my favorite feature. I enjoy being able to go and swim in our pool any day that we want without having to go somewhere else. Moreover, all our interactions with their team were good. I wanted a pool for a long time but it never worked out with our location. We're moving and the house we're buying was a perfect spot to put a pool into. The salesperson also helped add a 7x15 sun shelf for my little boy which is perfect for playing and sun tanning. I look forward to being able to swim whenever we want and being able to cool off in the summer heat of Texas.

Our builder, American West, recommended Anthony and Sylvan to build our pool and we got one from them with a jacuzzi, an infinity waterfall, and a wet deck which are my favorite. It's a very modern contemporary looking pool and it suits all of our needs. We've had it for a year now. It's perfect and we really like it. Their staff also followed up with me every day on how the pool was coming along. They were very communicative with my husband about that so we knew the process was going smoothly and we knew everything that was going on.

Two years ago, we wanted a pool and Anthony & Sylvan offered us the best pool for the best price. We got a freeform pool and I like its waterfall, slim deck and overall size. It's 16,000 gallons and that's a good sized pool for us and our family. They helped us pick the right size that would work for us, that we could maintain and enjoy. The project manager Collin and scheduling team were very responsive. Anytime we called him, he answered right away. He always let me know exactly what was going on and why there were delays if there had to be delays. The scheduler Scott was right on. It was a great experience from start to finish. Having the pool let us spend more time together as a family at home instead of packing up and going somewhere.

Anthony & Sylvan Pools seemed to be the most knowledgeable with their prices and quickest in response time when we did our research on local pool companies. Our pool is freeform. Although I haven't even been in it yet, I like having a pool in our backyard for easy access and family time. Everybody that I dealt with at Anthony & Sylvan was extremely professional, responsive and skilled at the particular task that person was brought in to do. I would recommend them to a friend.

We've had an Anthony & Sylvan pool in the past and we knew that they were a good builder so we had them do our new free form pool. I love that it has a waterfall and they worked with us to incorporate the glow in the dark tiles on it and imprint my wife's design on our swim ledge. It's a custom look. They also checked on us daily, were more proactive than reactive and always getting us updates. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that our pool was completed in a timely fashion and that all the inspections took place. They were awesome and I recommended them to people.

I chose Anthony & Sylvan because they had the best price and the more options for the price. My pool is free form, no spa, and my favorite things about it are the lighting, the automation that I put in it, and the water feature. I had some problems when my pool was first fired up and working with the project manager and making sure he understood that my pool was fully paid and I'm having some problems with my pool. He didn't stop one bit to make sure my pool is completely satisfied and every problem was fixed. However the sales guys Sean kept with me the whole time to make sure that I was taken care of. Sean is hands down, the best salesman for a pool that I've ever worked with.

My pool is twenty years old and Anthony & Sylvan built it. I went and got two other estimates from local people for the renovation. I had some refurbishing work done on my pool by a company in town and they ruined the pool. Anthony & Sylvan was the last estimate that I got because I thought they would be the most expensive but they were the least expensive. And the knowledge level was far beyond the other two companies so I chose them.

The pool was built in 1981. It's probably one of the first Anthony & Sylvan pools in the area. It's an 18x38 pool with a love seat in the deep end and a spa that’s connected, which is probably 8x5. There’s a wall between the pool and the spa and the water flows over it that I can heat the hot tub by itself if I wanted to. The pool is cute and well maintained. The spa is attractive and people had commented on it over the years. We had a couple other people that got pools because of our pool.

The guy who came to our house from Anthony & Sylvan knows the stuff and we felt comfortable with it, so we chose them for our renovation. Also, they were the ones who initially put our pool in. Their design consultant left us some samples more than once and when I met with him, he gave us his recommendation based on his experience. Then their staff called and told me when they were coming and once they started, it was done quick. They did the coating, the tile and caring the plaster. I paid via credit card and it was handled well. Now our pool looks more modern and it's a whole lot better, that's why I referred them to a cousin of mine.

I went to school with a gentleman who has some seniority at the Anthony & Sylvan and when we're thinking about pools, it was the only name we were thinking of because of their national presence and recognition. So we got a concrete chlorine pool and roughly 650 square feet from them. However, getting a pool wasn't something that we were planning. We were just inquiring about it initially, but we decided to pursue it because we live in a community with a pool which has some significant restrictions. Fortunately for us, the experience was very attractive from the salespeople's standpoint and we felt really comfortable with the sales people and then we moved forward.

There were a few times that they had to slow down because the inspectors weren't available but the project manager came and explained that to us and got that going as fast as he could. The actual project teams that put the pool together were wonderful artisans. Each group knew exactly what they were doing. They were polite, professional and artistic, and they did a beautiful job. There were modifications made to the shape of the pool that I wanted and they did that with no problem.

We purchased two pools from Anthony & Sylvan -- one for ourselves and one for my son. My son’s neighbor bought one a few years prior and said wonderful things about it. And we're quite comfortable and grateful that we did go with Anthony & Sylvan. My project manager, scheduling person and the other staff were all amazing. However we started the project late because of the permitting in our township. But we’re looking forward in getting a full summer use of the pool.

I've always wanted a built-in pool, and we have this one with a spa from Anthony & Sylvan Pools. We had contact with a very good project manager named Trevor, who did everything. He always called us back and kept us informed, and he always made good suggestions. We needed somebody we can trust, and he did a good job. Furthermore, this is such a beautiful pool, it's like a little hotel. We love the privacy it brings, and it's not too big. It's for enough people to come over and go in. We like to entertain, and it just makes our backyard beautiful. Also, my husband has a bad back, so the pool is heated and the jets are phenomenal. We love everything about it, my husband adores the pool and he's crazy about it.

I've been wanting a new pool for a couple of years and my friend's pool was built by Anthony & Sylvan. Their general manager of construction took our job himself and got us the whole way through with our salesperson, who was a lot of help as well. Anytime we had questions or concerns even after the sale was done, he was still around to help us, which was a great thing. Their design team did a great job with the idea and the design of the pool, and they made it come to life. We had a beautiful freeform pool with a raised bond beam, a jacuzzi that overflows into the pool and waterfalls that come out of the walls. I also like the decking. Now, I enjoy sitting outside by the pool in the summer. It makes us use our backyard a lot more than we ever would.

I moved into the house two years ago, and the house was built in ’53. I was told that the pool was 60 years old and never had work done with it. The man that lived there that I bought the house from did all the work himself. It was a cement pool that was a real mess. I tried to get a couple different people to fix it the summer before and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. A couple of different places took a lot of money from me and didn’t fix the pool; we couldn’t go in it until August and summer was over early. So this year I wanted to find a company that was going to really fix my pool. Anthony & Sylvan had been sending me letters, and I decided to go with them because of their name. And they came out, talked to me and told me how much everything would cost. They rebuilt the whole pool except for the hole and the cement in it. They drilled and sanded everything over.

We have wanted a pool for about five years and when our neighbor had a pool built, we called the Anthony & Sylvan's number off the pool sign to get an estimate. We talked to Dave and he designed the pool we wanted. It was a little out of our price range so he came back with other options, we agreed and we have our free-form pool now and a waterfall. I like the whole design of it - it's the perfect size, got a splash area and steps going down to the pool. It's only six-foot deep, so it's totally safe with our 12-year-old son and his buddies being there.

A friend referred Anthony & Sylvan to us and I got the free form pool from them. It's the standard size that they offer and has a bench inside the pool. My favorite thing about this pool was probably the bench, the recessed steps, as well as the lighting in the pool which is on a timer and changes periodically. Also, it's heated so we can extend the use of the pool. I'm looking forward mostly to having my kid enjoy the pool. We wanted the kids to learn how to swim and the first year of having a pool and seeing them being able to go on it everyday is really great. We don't have to share the pool and go somewhere else to go swimming and then worry about if it's cold or closed. We can use it anytime which I'm happy about the most.

My general contractor on a project that included landscaping and the expansion of the house recommended Anthony & Sylvan when I broached the subject of putting a pool on the side yard. This is what Anthony & Sylvan does and they do a lot of it so I didn’t look any further. The pool we had built is rectangular, 13 feet wide by 40 feet long, and it has a spa. As a place for recreation, it's great, and as a place for relaxation, it's beautiful. We have a corner lot and the side yard where the pool is now had always been a space that was not very pleasing to the eye. It had no good sunlight so it was hard to grow things. Now the addition of the pool is almost spectacular. It changed the appearance of the place and it’s pretty to look at.

We heard about Anthony & Sylvan through a couple of friends and we explored the website and it had good recommendations. They're also a nationwide builder. They built for us a 42 x 20 free form granite pool with diving board. The scheduler was very open in terms of communication, telling me when the next crew is coming up, and what stuff was happening next. It was great but it wasn't a flawless process. We had a couple issues and he's taken care of them except for one but he said he's going to get them back out when we open up the pool again. And now we use the pool for family time. It gives us the chance to get the kids and spend family time as opposed to hanging out inside.

My parents have had Anthony & Sylvan pools before. I felt most comfortable with them that they are the most professional and have been doing this so long. When dealing with a pool, my sister had a company that ran out of business and she had problems so I wanted to go with what was the most reliable. Anthony & Sylvan was right on top of everything. I live in Fairfax County so it was a bear to get it through zoning and the homeowner's association. But the minute we got those done, they just whipped through and it was amazing how fast they got the pool done.

I went with Anthony & Sylvan because of how good the designer is, his experience in the industry and his honest feedback on design. Its architectural design and location are my favorite things about the pool they designed. I'm looking forward to entertain a lot with this pool. The designer was able to show where the deck would end, and the visual aspect and architectural feel of it once it's done. The two managers I worked with were both very accommodating too and they worked around my needs.

Our freeform pool was worked on by Anthony & Sylvan and we like the design that the engineer came up with. We added the waterfall, which is my favorite. We're happy that it's aesthetically pleasing, fits our backyard very nicely, and the plaster came out nice and smooth. We had it heated and had the salt water feature too. The project manager was wonderful also. He was very much on top of any problem or situation. He would reassure us that everything will be fine. And everything was done as fast as could be expected. I'm looking forward to relaxing and having people over in our backyard; and to use it during those hot July days in New Jersey.

Our swimming pool was built in 1970's by Anthony & Sylvan Pool. We also got them for our pool renovation because we personally did some looking around and felt that their prices were competitive and they had a lot of experience. Their consultant was reasonable, he's not perfect but quite knowledgeable. So, we had the whole surface renovated. It was re-plastered, re-coated and repaired. Their coordinator told us how it would go and they were completely accurate so we knew when we would expect people to arrive. Four crews were involved with their particular sub-specialties. There were a few minor irritations and errors in what they'd do versus the original plan but we were there to correct them and it was fixed. I never had to paint it again, it did hold up to the temperature and the chlorine that we usually keep it at, and looks really pretty. It's an old pool but it looks like a new pool.

I love having a pool, it's an interesting place. We love entertaining and enjoying family time in it. We have a freeform with a spill-over spa. I love the spa and the fact that we can enjoy sports in the pool with the whole family. Anthony & Sylvan is excellent. I knew when things were going to happen and when people are going to show up. When I have questions and I called, people returned my telephone calls and gave me answers as to what I should expect.

My pool is 14 years old and it was done by National Pools. I had it renovated by Anthony & Sylvan. The man that I dealt with was very helpful and the salesperson said they could do it on time when I needed it done, and so I went with them. Tom, the design consultant, was fine and very helpful and showed me samples and pictures and his portfolio. Melissa scheduled and coordinated the renovation. If she didn't answer the phone, she always got back to me. They replastered a new tile and coping. The color of the pool is my favorite.

We got Anthony & Sylvan to renovate our pool last summer because they were the ones who built it in 1997. They remodeled all of it but the decking and were very thorough and efficient. They explained everything and helped us pick out colors. They called me to let me know when they were coming and when there was a slight problem with installing a light in the spa they told me that it was going to be two weeks before they could get to me. But I had the whole team here the next day. I'm not sure what they did to make that happen, but we were very grateful. We had been waiting on getting this pool done and had asked to get it started in the spring. They started it about a month later. And then we wanted to have our daughter's high school graduation party, so they went overtime to try to get that done as soon as possible. They sped up the process and were able to help us out. It was a good experience.

We went with Anthony & Sylvan because of its years of experience. The salesman Brian was wonderful, and he was the one who designed the pool. Ours has a spa with it, and the tanning bed is one of our favorite things. The project manager also came after every stage of the pool. It's nice to have one in our own backyard and not having to go to some other pool at any time.

We were going to move but decided not to and instead put in a pool. Jason recommended Anthony & Sylvan and we got a free form pool. The project manager and scheduling team always came out when I called or needed to be called. My kids have a great time in the pool.

Sylvan is top of the line. They built my swimming pool before the merge. The guy who renovated the pool is nice and very knowledgeable. He made some nice suggestions about what I needed to complete renovation and did a good job. The team arrived on time and they were very efficient in the work and the cleanup. I was well-satisfied and my pool now looks brand new. We had a tiny hiccup and they corrected it right away.

A resale home that I bought just prior to the home I'm in now already had an existing pool and it was an Anthony & Sylvan. It was a nice pool and we're happy with that, so we chose them to do one for us. The pool that was finished last June is freeform and has a raised spa. It went very well with the project manager, Collin, and communication was great. Scheduling was okay though we were a little behind schedule as it rained for almost a solid month. There were a few finishing things that needed to be done after we were finished, and Collin stayed right on it to be sure that they were all done to my satisfaction. At this point, I'm very happy with the pool, the quality and workmanship of it, and especially the way that the hot tub performs. I'm looking forward for the weather getting warm again to swim on a daily basis.

Anthony & Sylvan Pools built our pool in 1974 and I chose them to renovate it as well. They replaced the coping and the tile and plastered the pool. I met the design consultant first at the swimming pool and we went over things that had to be done to it and he was very helpful. The team that scheduled and coordinated the renovation called me in advance with the time and it all worked out well. I like everything about the pool and the fact that the water looks blue like it did originally. The clearness of the water just brings everything out of the pool. I would recommend Anthony & Sylvan.

I had a pool put in by Anthony & Sylvan in 1999. I was satisfied with the pool until things started going wrong. My pool filter developed a crack in one of the seams of the tank. I contacted customer service and they asked me to e-mail them pictures of the filter, which I did immediately. I am the original owner of the pool and have the original copy of my contract which clearly states "FULL WARRANTY ON FILTER TANK FOR AS LONG AS YOU OWN YOUR POOL". After receiving the pictures of the filter tank I received a text back saying that there was no evidence in defects in workmanship of materials. First of all how do you determine that from an e-mail picture. I feel that this is a breach of contract and I am very dissatisfied with this company. This is ridiculous and I feel they are very dishonest people that don't live up to their obligations.

I've always wanted a pool. Anthony & Sylvan was recommended to me and I chose them based on the design of the pool. It's a freeform pool and has a spa. The quality of the work is my favorite thing about the pool. I look forward to enjoying it. I’ve had several interactions with the project manager and the scheduling team over the course of building the pool and about details. The project manager did okay. However, there are finishing touches that still aren't completed. They disappeared after it was up and running. I'm not pleased with that. I don't know who to call so if they could contact me because I still have an issue that they haven't dealt with, I would appreciate that.

We have a small lap pool with a spa built by Anthony & Sylvan. I interact with my project manager almost daily and he was very good and on top and sent me daily updates. I also had no issues with their scheduling team. Furthermore, I love that I can use the pool for exercise and stay in it in the Las Vegas heat. Also, having a pool gives me the ability to quickly sell my house if I would ever need to.

We chose Anthony & Sylvan because of the way they construct the pool. We got a play pool so it’s deep in the middle and shallower at the ends. The project manager was very good and that he was on top of things. He checked in regularly. He sent me text messages with pictures of the progress of the pool, so I knew that he was actually on the property. The construction people were all wonderful and did everything in a timely fashion. I was happy with them.

We have wanted a pool for two years now. We heard about Anthony & Sylvan from my friend and then we did some research, and they seem like they're the best company out there. The lighting is really nice, the stepdown when you first walk into it, has a platform that you can put a chair and just sit right there with an umbrella. That's really nice.

We had a pool before and when we built our current house, we didn’t have a pool put in initially. It’s been three years since and when I heard about Anthony & Sylvan, I chose them because they were national. Our pool is freeform, has a spa, and the automatic refill. They did all the landscaping and we built a fire pit at the same time. It’s just terrific. I really like the spa a lot more than I thought I would and we can lap-swim thru its length. We enjoy the relaxation feature of the pool, being able to swim when we want to, and take it easy and the overall prospect of having it in the yard. Wayne was the project manager and very good. He was there several times a week. The young lady that did the scheduling was absolutely wonderful and the best I’ve ever worked with. When she told us that something was going to happen on a day, it happened every time.

We went to Anthony & Sylvan for the pool renovation because they were the original builders of the pool in 1984, and I also had other dealings with them before. I had broken something and I couldn’t find a replacement part. I ended up calling them up and they were able to get me the exact part I needed, which was great because it was causing a problem with my kids.

We had a geometric pool built by Anthony & Sylvan Pools. We spoke with the project manager on a regular basis and he was very helpful and responsive anytime I had him come out either to go over something or for questions. We like the design and the accents for the pool - the diamond stairs, diamond tile on the stairs and bench, the dolphin in the bottom and the mosaic from the bottom.

We had a short footprint in our backyard and Anthony and Sylvan was able to accommodate putting a pool in a very small area, which was very desirable for us. It’s a long rectangular pool with a spa. I love the water features of the pool and having the ability to look out over our family room and at the pool. The designer had put things together to where the visuals were very nice. They look attractive and the place of the pool made it nice for sitting in the backyard and enjoying it as well. Also, the project manager and scheduling team gave me a general idea of what was going to take place with every step of the process. I’m happy with how they put things together. They were very informative and easy to talk to.

We've wanted a pool ever since we started thinking about building our house 2 years ago. I went online and looked at five other companies and went with Anthony & Sylvan based on feedback I got from reviews online. We have a heated free-form pool, midnight blue with Pebble Sheen bottom. It has a grotto with a waterfall. There's also a sun shelf. I like it's appearance. It's been a really pleasant experience with Anthony & Sylvan. I have no complaints at all. Any questions I had were answered properly. They came over and took care of everything. We had a few little issues with the travertine deck and they came to replace the old tiles. It took a while to clean up due to bad weather but they did a nice job. We're looking forward to having our friends over and then sit around on the deck next to the pool. It's an area that we can gather and enjoy ourselves.

I wanted a pool since I was a little kid. I'm looking forward to my kids having a pool in the backyard and have their friends coming over, and entertain the family and things of that sort. Then I've heard about Anthony and Sylvan Pools mostly through home magazines and public advertisements. They made me a free-form pool which has a tanning ledge. It also has a water feature that comes into the pool but we didn't do a spa. The project manager was a really nice guy. He's easy to work with, quick with the changes if necessary. He seemed to sincerely care about the project. And still comes by if he's in the neighborhood to say hello and make sure things are going good. We were members of a country club pool, which is quite expensive. And so we ended up putting our own pool in the backyard. And we were able to drop that membership because we only really used it for the pool so it saved us quite a bit of money.

Ive been looking at Pebble Tec for quite some time. I wanted to get them when we had the pool done the first time versus plastered. We had gray plaster on the pool the first time, and they were having a special. For the same price, Tec would normally be costly. We got Sheen which is the smaller & smoother finish. The guy that helped us do this is Hart **. He was good. He helped us in picking a color. We ended up going with midnight pearl which is the darkest color you can go with. It's interesting because when they first did it, the color was good but it was mottled. So they did this right after I opened it last year, late April or May.

Our swimming pool was built in 1993 by Anthony & Sylvan Pools. We chose them to do the restoration because I looked at others but I decided to go with the original plaster, the same that I had. It wasn't a complete remodel. I had a resurfacing of the white marble. The inside of the pool had a refinish. But the tile and everything was fine. They checked all that, and I didn't need tile and coping. I just needed the gunite or the spray, the white plaster redone. They did it in a day. I don't have any complaints with my design consultant. It was good and he's efficient. I can't make up my mind to probably add a few mosaics. Then I decided to stay with the original more than the expensive coating and I'm just happy how it turned out. One day, the weather messed them up. They were out here the next day. They were literally in and out in one day, so that was great.

We would have had a pool built with the house 10 years ago if we could have afforded it. We were referred to Anthony & Sylvan, their pricing was good so we chose them to build our freeform pool. Their design consultant presented us with the custom design and was responsive with the concepts and ideas I had. He visited the area, took some notes, walked around, then came back with a presentation that we modified and finally ended up with. After that, we compared with other pool builders in the area. Anthony & Sylvan's design and value was the best, very specific to us. We live in a gated community so Tina, the scheduling coordinator, worked with all the sub contractors about time frames and list of people coming which was then sent over to the HOA security. After that, the project manager did a good job in keeping us informed and updated. It was all a great experience that I've recommended them to a lot of people already.

I wanted a pool for my lake house, and I was getting bids. I'm a general contractor and I was checking out to see which company I wanted to go with. Anthony & Sylvan Pools gave the best price, and their service, project manager and scheduling team were fantastic. I like the communication because it was fantastic and that's very important in construction. We have a rectangular Roman pool and the features that we have on it are beautiful. Also, I love how easy it is to maintain. It's really a great excitement for all my grandkids when they come over. I have no regrets using them, and I'd definitely recommend them.

Two of my co-workers had pools built by Anthony & Sylvan and I've wanted to have a pool for a couple of years, so I had my pool built by them as well. I started off with one project manager, Joe, and he was very responsive. He would text me anytime of the day if I texted him at night or emailed him. It was helpful to be able to text him at night and get his very quick response, and to be able to send him pictures through my phone so he can take a look at the pool ahead of time and avoid delay. He made me understand that every piece had a different crew, so I knew ahead of time what to expect. The pool I got from them is a free-form with a spa, a raised deck, and a waterfall. The spa, the LED light at night, and the easiness of keeping the pool clean are my favorite things about it. Also, the increased family interaction and making memories are what I enjoy most about my pool.

I will definitely recommend Anthony & Sylvan. Just about every step of the way, they were great. We chose them because they are recommended by some people and they're good to work with and on time. Jeremy the project manager was great. He came out every time, answered any questions I had, and if there’s something that had to be done each step, he told me before each step to let me know when they’d be here. The scheduling team did the same thing. They call pretty much the same day Jeremy did to let me know so it’s kind of a double. They were very informative and getting me in the loop on what was going on.

I chose Anthony & Sylvan Pools because they're a nationwide company. Our interaction with the project manager Jeremy was pretty good. He was there through all the different phases of construction and we spoke a lot via text and email. The free-form pool that they built for us is pretty easy to clean. A lot easier than I thought it would be when they set up the jets, the skimmer, and the drains in the bottom. I like the way that our new pool sort of serves as a gathering spot for the family.

We'd wanted a new pool for three years and chose Anthony & Sylvan based on other neighbors' positive feedback. Our pool is an oasis shape with an added small water feature and a kiddie pool and tanning ledge on to it. During the pool build up, the project manager came and was engaged every step of the process to make sure that things were going well. When we had concerns, they came out and take a look at what we were conveying to them and made corrections when it was necessary. 16 years after getting pool, it has a few leaks. I spoke with the warranty dept and they can't honor the lifetime warranty because I don't have the original contract (lost in fire). They only keep 7 yrs of records so they no longer can help me. This is bad business. I think they should stress to new customers to put papers in a fire safe since they don't keep us on file after 7 yrs. :(
