Anthony & Sylvan built our pool 11 years ago and I've stayed with them ever since. The people they've sent have been very friendly and knowledgeable. I had one part that had to be replaced. But I was totally satisfied with the job that was done from the beginning.

Anthony & Sylvan built our pool. We have them for opening and closing, and weekly. It's a VIP that we have, and I like that they all have to do it. Their team does the right thing. Anthony & Sylvan is a very helpful hand.

Anthony & Sylvan is local to me and they initially installed the pool at my house. Then I chose them to do the renovation, opening, and closing of the pool. I didn’t have much interaction with the people who came out when they opened that pool but they’ve been very helpful when I go into the store.

Anthony & Sylvan built my pool and they’ve also done work for me in the past. They are reliable and I never had a problem with scheduling. Every time I call, I usually get the date that I want. And sometimes I work with the person who comes out and does the pool, and he’s fine as well.

We use Anthony & Sylvan for opening and closing our pool and we've also gone up to their Chantilly office for their advice as we have converted ours to a saline pool. I've talked with a gentleman there and had him walk me through some of the steps to do with the heater. We love the appearance of the pool. However, it’s got some warranty issues that has to be dealt with because there’s serious cracking going on right now. We reached out to the warranty department a couple of weeks ago but haven’t heard anything. So we just reported it to the lady that we got connected to. And she said she sent an email to the warranty department for them to reach out to them. It’s gotta be dealt with sooner before it gets worst.

When my wife and I were looking for a pool, I’ve heard from other folks that Anthony & Sylvan was one of the best companies to go with, plus they’re in Chantilly which services our area. We’re very pleased with the pool they’ve put in for us and they’ve been doing great with the opening and closing services during Spring and Fall. The folks who come out to do the service have been very pleasant and knowledgeable. Every time they come out, I go out with them. And they always explain what they’re doing. I’ve learned quite a bit about how to take care of the pool myself and I also got maintenance tips. We have an in-ground pool, and my wife is handicapped and it has been a great pool for her to exercise in.

I had friends that had Anthony & Sylvan pools and I was impressed when they came out and gave me the demo. Their name is well-known and I trust them. I used their services for the opening and closing of the pool and everything was great. It was a big investment and I didn't want anybody else working on it.

I use Anthony & Sylvan for seasonal services. Their team comes, opens, closes and sprays my pool. They're courteous, professional and pretty responsive. So far, their work has always been of good quality.

I usually have the same team members and they pretty much know my pool from top to bottom and it is usually care-free.

The same people came from the spring and then came to a close and opened the pool and they're very courteous. They ring the bell, do their job and then they say they were leaving and they're gone. We've had a few little issues about scheduling and stuff with the office, but nothing severe.

Anthony & Sylvan Pools has been around for a long time, so I knew about them and it was natural for me to call them. They built my pool and they come out every two weeks and service it. I've had a lot of interactions with the Anthony & Sylvan team. When I need them, they tell me when somebody’s coming out to service the pool. If I have a problem, I call their office and they're very responsive.

I bought a pool in 2007 and then I moved and bought another pool from Anthony & Sylvan. I've been using them mostly for opening and closing services. But I use them as well if there's a maintenance issue with the pool, then somebody comes out and services it. I like the pool that they built for me and my experience with them has been great. The design phase went well and I enjoyed that part. The construction was fine, although there were a couple of delays due to the weather. But I've got a long-standing issue with them that still remains unsettled. I had my pool built two years ago and I've been working for over a year to try and resolve the warranty issue, and I still haven't gotten that issue resolved. I've communicated a lot and they've communicated a little. No one has checked back in, so it's a struggle.

Anthony & Sylvan has been our pool service for almost 20 years now. They do the opening and closing. The company is reliable, and all my interactions with their team have been great.

However, they are the most expensive company to work with, and I’ve shopped around getting pool supplies and chemicals from other places because of that. I've had a pool pump and a filter put in, and we've had a couple of valves checked. They also do the opening, closing and any maintenance. All our interactions have been very positive.

I've been with Anthony & Sylvan for 15 years and they are a good company. They installed the pool and usually, they do a decent job. However sometimes there are issues, like when you order something and then it doesn’t come in at the time you were told it was going to be delivered. But they get it and they deliver. They work out the issues and everything’s fine. Also, I had a usual guy who comes out every year. I didn't have a problem with him but there have been bad days. This year, there was no issue and they sent a different guy over and the second guy run like he’s opened the pool up before. He was completely different than the first guy that I had an issue with. He showed me stuff that no one ever showed me and I had my pool for 15 years. I was so impressed with him.

Anthony & Sylvan constructed the pool when we purchased the home. We just followed through with using them for opening and closing, as well as equipment maintenance. We also had them renovate the pool a couple of years ago. I like that they are prompt, efficient, and do a good job. Working with them is convenient. We're pleased with them.

We went through about three different other pool companies and we picked Anthony & Sylvan to build our pool. We used their pool services for openings and closings. Working with them has been very easy and convenient. Their team has always been very helpful with the water testing and helping with keeping the pool out of the chemicals to where they should be.

Anthony & Sylvan is a local company and they installed our pool. We’re also using them for seasonal opening and closing, warranty works and maintenance. But when they opened the pool, they couldn’t put the handrails on, and I’m still dealing with that issue. That has been my disappointment this year with them. They also said that my light was burned out in the deep end and I had to replace it. I had been trying to get an answer on replacing them and a quote ever since they opened the pool and I’m not having a whole lot of luck with that. Normally, I can deal with them okay and there’s no problem.

We have Anthony & Sylvan do the opening and closing of our pool and when something breaks, they do the repairs. We like their knowledge. Our neighbors use them as well.

Anthony & Sylvan has a good reputation. We used them to install the pool. And we have them for the opening and closing. They do exactly what they say they’re gonna do. They have scheduled date and they are always there on that date. Their customer service is excellent. I just recently had a bad experience with some other company not related to the pool, but it makes you appreciate the good customer service from the companies that do provide it. This past year we had an issue about a slight cut in our cover. They told me exactly what they were gonna do and how they were gonna handle the situation. They’re very professional.

I used Anthony & Sylvan for opening and closing the pool. The person who did it explained everything about my pool and its price too. It’s easy working with them because I have the store near me. But, it's taking a long time when they make the pool.

This is our 2nd year with our pool and we have Anthony & Sylvan to our openings and closings. They've been providing quality service. On the other hand, we’re supposed to have someone call us about the caulking around our tile around the pool. A man spoke with my husband a couple of days ago and said they hope to get it done this week or next, but we don’t have a date when they would come.

Anthony & Sylvan installed our pool 15 years ago, and I have used their services for opening and closing, pump and filter replacement, and they did our salt generator when we converted to a salt system. Whenever their men do something that they find a problem, they notify and explain the situation to us and give us our best options to overcome the problem. They're courteous and very advanced with their cleanliness. And I can’t tell they were there when they’re gone. It’s a big thing also that they're here when they say they’re gonna be here at a certain time. Their time management is great and I respect their workers highly.

I usually use a friend of mine for pool service and he was too busy so he referred me to Anthony & Sylvan. I’m glad he did because they do a better job. I have used them for seasonal opening and closing, and I like that they showed up when they said they would. They got us right in and we didn’t have to wait until after Labor Day which was most of them weren’t available. They even cleaned their cover and wrapped it up. I was really happy and I would highly recommend Anthony and Sylvan to all my friends.

Anthony & Sylvan is a local company and I liked them the best when we met with different pool companies. We meshed the best with Anthony & Sylvan's sales team and we used their company to execute a different design consultant's work. Everything was on time and there was always good communication. We were in daily contact with our pool project manager. Since we've had the pool, we've been using Anthony & Sylvan's opening and closing service as well. This is now my third season with the pool and we've been very satisfied with Anthony & Sylvan. I also like having a swimming pool in my backyard. It's a place to gather for family and friends.

They laid everything out and talked about it and everybody was very, very nice. And once my pool was installed, they didn’t leave me behind. Now, they open and close my pool. I take my water to Anthony & Sylvan’s store and they do an analysis on that for free which I really like and then they recommend any kind of chemicals that I might need. What I like the most is that when they say they’re gonna be here, they’re here and when they open, they call me. They’ll tell me if I'm probably the second customer and they give me a really good idea so I don’t have to stand there and wait around for anybody.

My experience with Anthony & Sylvan has been very, very good. They put my pool in many years ago, then they redid my entire pool last year from plastering to caulking and tiling, and the opening and closing for this year. I like how they communicate. I get phone calls from them before the services and they're always fast and efficient. When they're here, I always talk with them to find out if there’s anything that I need to do and if there are any additional things that I need, and they’re always very responsive.

I've been using Anthony & Sylvan for several years and I'm very pleased. They do the opening, closing, and equipment maintenance. Aside from being helpful, they come when they're scheduled. They continue with the job and the pool looks good.

Anthony & Sylvan rebuilt my pool about three years ago. There were some issues and they took care of them right away. They came back to drain the pool and redo it. I can't ask for anything better than that. I also use them for openings and closings, and the guys who were there to open my pool did a fantastic job. Everybody that I’ve ever dealt with at Anthony & Sylvan has just been wonderful. And when they schedule the appointments, they work around my schedule and they stick to it.

Four years ago, when we bought the house, we needed a whole pool renovation. I got a couple prices and we bought with Anthony & Sylvan. Then, after the initial renovation, they do a great job both opening and closing with the safety cover. Overall, Anthony & Sylvan is a good company to work with. They’re prompt and professional. We’re always happy and satisfied. I also like the buy three and get the fourth year for free. That helps.

Our pool is brand-new and this is our first full season in it. Anthony & Sylvan was our builder and we used them for the opening and closing. When I use them to come out or I’m having an issue, they come quickly. They've also been very responsive to answering questions. As a new pool owner, we got a lot of questions and they've been very patient with us. They came out for all the equipment and walked us through everything. They trained us on proper handling and chemicals. And they referred us to the cleaner that we purchased for the pool.

We did our research on the area and Anthony & Sylvan has high reviews. And they installed our pool. From the very beginning, they came in and walked us through the whole thing. And every time there was a new change or something occurred, they contacted us and came back. Anthony & Sylvan is good all around.

We've used Anthony & Sylvan to open and close our pool ever since they built it four years ago. This is our fourth season that they've opened a pool for us and they've always been on time and very professional. If there's ever been an issue with any of the equipment, they've always had extra parts and they fix it right on the spot. This year, there was a problem with one of the pumps when they opened the pool and that was handled very well. The experience has been seamless. We've never had a problem which is exactly what you want when you open or close a pool.

I like dealing with the technicians when they’re here for the opening and closing for my pool. I see them bi-weekly and they're awesome, very thorough and they clean up the pool very well. Anthony & Sylvan stands behind their product.

We have a freeform pool that was built in 2000 and we were using a pool company for it, but we were dissatisfied with their service. Anthony & Sylvan had an office right across the street from that company, so we decided to try them out. We used them to open and close the pool and we have been very pleased with their service. We picked dates and it worked out fine. Their service people are very good and are the main reason we're using them in the first place. I go to their retail store to pick up most of the pool chemicals that I add myself and the retail folks are fine. Everybody in their organization is top-shelf and I'm pleased. Anthony & Sylvan listens well, responds to any questions I have and seems to be genuinely interested in their customers. I'd recommend them to anybody.

Anthony & Sylvan built our free-form 5-year old pool and we have a raised hot tub. We like having family time in it. We've seen Anthony & Sylvan's name and they had the best price. They re-plastered our pool because it was peeling. Their project manager was beyond amazing but the scheduling was not the best. The team forgot to put us on the schedule so we had some problems getting started. But once we got started, it went smoothly. The team was good and they got the job done quickly. I also use Anthony & Sylvan services for the opening and closing of the pool. The team responds and they get back to me with any questions or problems I have.

This is a follow up from September 2017 when our pool was completed. Corporate was notified of issues with the project manager and salesperson and certain crews involved. After investigation corporate went above and beyond to make things right. We were especially appreciative of Joe and Michelle of the Houston corporate office and Owen of the Pennsylvania headquarters. Together they made everything happen. We are delightfully satisfied with the outcome and would recommend Anthony and Sylvan pools to anyone.

We got Anthony & Sylvan through a recommendation from someone. They do the opening, closing and the bi-weekly services for the pool. I have a heart condition this year and I can’t do the work myself. And Anthony & Sylvan has taken that burden off me. They're very cooperative and they've made the water look better than we were able to. They got a new machine that really made a difference.

Anthony & Sylvan Pools installed my pool about 12 years ago and I enjoyed their services ever since. I've been using their services for opening and closing and when I need repairs to be done on the pool. They're very polite and they seem to understand and know the problem. They walked me through trying to diagnose the problem myself and trying to fix it myself before they come out and service it. And if I can't do it, they have no issue coming out to the remote area I live in in Pennsylvania. There have been different people at different times and they tell me what they were doing and what to look for. It has been a good experience and I've recommended them.

We had the pool installed in 2008 and we always knew that Anthony & Sylvan was a household name. They were one of those who we did a consultation and an estimate with. And then we decided that they would be the best fit for what we wanted to do. Their quick response to everything as well as their knowledge is our favorite about them. Ben is always very good at explaining what the problems are. He goes over everything and how to work things. He's very patient too. Anthony & Sylvan does equipment maintenance for the pool and we also use them for pool opening and closing. Since they built the pool, we know that there's probably no one else out there that could repair it better than they can. With my experience with them, I would definitely recommend Anthony & Sylvan to a friend.

I've had the pool since I bought the house. It has a spa, it's concrete and it's especially made like a designed pool. I got the information in the mail from Anthony & Sylvan at one point when I had the pool redone and they were fabulous. I requested for information and they sent somebody out, and he was very informative. They kept up with me every day and made sure everything was done correctly by the end of the day. And then, they called me the next morning and let me know what was going to be done that day. The guys that come out are definitely very nice. Also, I like the look of the pool right now 'cause it's newly tiled and everything's fresh. Anthony & Sylvan is a full-service company and they're able to handle anything to do with the pool. I'd recommend them to anybody.

Anthony & Sylvan is extremely dependable and prompt. I had them build the pool and I chose them because they were the best pool builders in the area. I have also used their opening, closing and maintenance services as needed. I like that we always have the same people. We don’t have to deal with a new person every time we make a call. In 1983 we had our Anthony & Sylvan pool put in and initially, the people who opened the pool contracted with a local pool service. I dealt with that service for 30 years, and then they sold their business to another group and the other group that came in and took over didn't do a very good job. And so, I looked in the telephone book and came up with Anthony & Sylvan. I figured, who better than the people who originally built the pool to service it? I contacted them and for the last couple of years, I've been dealing strictly with them regarding the opening and closing the pool.

We found Anthony & Sylvan four years ago when looking for a pool contractor and we’ve worked with them from the beginning. They built our pool then they open and close it as well. They’ve been very reliable. They have delivered their promises and done a good job. We were unhappy initially with the way the lining of the pool turned out but they went and did extra to make sure that the pool was completed to our satisfaction, including completely replacing it. We were very pleased that they went through that effort to make sure that we were happy. So the customer service person is important. All of the teams that come out to open and close the pool are very knowledgeable, courteous and organized also.

My pool is 5 years old, Anthony and Sylvan has plastered my pool 3 times already... And it's still not right. Just uncovered for the winter to find pieces of cracked plaster and cracks in the plaster. The plaster contractor they use is unbelievably incompetent and very poor quality work. I hired another company to come in and tell me what was wrong with my plaster, and they assure me that the only way to have these indications is from the plaster being either mixed or troweled improperly when it was applied. Do yourself a favor and do your research and find a good quality pool builder that knows how to stand behind their products. You WILL NOT get that with Anthony and Sylvan. If it would have allowed me I would have given them 0 stars.

I use Anthony & Sylvan mostly for openings and closings but also occasionally when there has been an issue and something needed to be repaired. They’re always knowledgeable. They show up on time, do what they're supposed to do then go away. They do a good job.

Anthony & Sylvan built our pool for us a couple of years ago then we continued using them. We use them for opening and closing. They also installed the heater and fixed the pipe when we broke it. Their workers are friendly and easy to talk to. They're also helpful. They answer any question I have. Even if they're dumb questions, they're happy to answer them. We're happy with Anthony & Sylvan.

I have wanted a pool my whole life and I had a friend who uses Anthony & Sylvan. Anthony & Sylvan had three different teams that worked on my pool. They were on time and did what they said they were going to do. Our interactions, on the most part, were handled well. All was done and I was impressed. They made a beautiful 22,000-gallon salt water pool in my backyard and I really like its salt water feature. They also made a heater. This is my fourth year with the pool and I use it almost every day. I look forward to swimming throughout the summer.

Customer Service is supposed to be a service for the customer. At this company there is never a person on the line to answer, they always have a recording. They say they will call back but rarely do and if they do it takes weeks. We have a company where there are 6 people in Customer Service. We always have a person answering the phone. We also have email access to customer service for off hours. Anthony and Sylvan have nothing like this. It is more like customer disservice. We have been trying to get our (warranted) pool leaks fixed for a year. They worked on it in the Autumn but have not come back. They don't stand up to their warranty claims. Now we just want the pool opened for the warm weather and we will deal with the slow leak when the season is over. They have not responded to this request for weeks.

Anthony & Sylvan put my pool in and I've been using them for the last eight years. I use them for seasonal opening and closing of the pool, including any repair work that might need to be done. All the people who come are efficient, very nice, and they get the job done. This year, when some rodents chewed on a wire, the guy who opened the pool was able to fix it instead of having somebody else come. So he went above and beyond to help out and it was very good of him.

Our pool should have already been completed. We are being held up by a poor quality tiling/coping job done by “Andrew's Tiling and Coping Company”. The fault lies with “Anthony & Sylvan Pools” though, because these are their subcontractors. We call and email and are given promise after promise w/o resolution. They don’t call back when they say they will. Our pool is already paid in full. (Our very bad mistake, we trusted them). I cannot even express the extent of my disappointment, not just that the pool isn’t completed but, that a company and the people who work for that company, can treat people this way.

Some of our neighbors recommended Anthony & Sylvan and so they built our pool last year. I also use them for closing and opening the pool. They did a nice job opening it and their team is very professional.

This is not a company to deal with. My pool was "done" by Anthony & Sylvan pools back in 2015 and it is not in use as of now. The quality of work and materials they did install are so poor (cheap), taking to consideration that they have no in house crew, they used subcontractors with very little professional skills and experience (cheap). My pool is totally out of use after they have done re-plastering. I was asking them to do something about it and fix all that was not done right, did not get any help, everything they put on me that is my fault. The garbage, after work was done, they buried in the back yard, total disaster.

I've wanted a pool for a long time but getting it put in was not a pleasant experience. We had a lot of trouble with getting individual things done. Each one got lost in a rabbit hole of Anthony & Sylvan's business offices here, and there was a lot of delay. But once I found the individuals and was able to talk to them one on one, especially the guys at the Chantilly office and their pool service people, everything went real well.

We've been using Anthony & Sylvan's pool service for three years now. Their employees are all courteous, nice, and they know what they’re doing. One of their employees, Frank, is great. He's the one that always comes to open and close our pool. We also had some warning issues with their team but they’ve been taken care of.

I’ve had pools all my life and I had wanted to get an inground pool for the last 10 years. I heard about Anthony & Sylvan through their reputation and name in the area. They installed the pool then I also purchased a coverage through them. They've closed and opened the pool in the three years that I’ve had it. Anytime I’ve had service people scheduled to come here, they’ve always been prompt, efficient and very professional. They have an excellent workforce. They focus on the problems and I'm very pleased with them.

We were not pleased with the construction manager and the whole construction process but we used them for their opening and closing services initially because those were part of our contract. Then the local technicians have been very pleasant and informative so we stayed with them for the opening and closing. I also like the people that I talk to on the phone. We’ve been using Anthony & Sylvan for 10 years and I would recommend them to others for their maintenance services.

I’ve been a customer with Anthony & Sylvan for 15 years. We would call and email to contact them and that has been a great experience. They open, close and provide weekly treatment and cleaning services. They inform me before they come and they are really responsible, committed and on time. When I have an issue, they come and respond right away so they are really good. It’s excellent service and I highly recommend them. The pool is great and I'm enjoying it.

Anthony & Sylvan was the installer of my pools and we also have them open and close the pool. They’re prompt and their service is really good. Their team is very kind, courteous and professional. And they're very good at what they do.

We had Anthony & Sylvan install our pool in the beginning of August of 2017 and we are still waiting on the completion. Our pool was opened for the first time last week and still have no clue what chemicals and how much to use and operate the pool vacuum. I was told it takes a couple of weeks for a "indoc" to be scheduled (why open a pool and let it sit with no chemicals or the ability to vacuum if your customers have to wait for another appointment weeks later?) not to mention that there are lines going down the sides of my pool from when the plaster was installed on a rainy day last year!! I was told I now have to go through the warranty process since it’s outside of 30 days (which it was pointed out to my PM last year). Every time I call to discuss my concerns, I get passed to another person and they give me a totally different story from the last person I spoke to.

Anthony & Sylvan is very professional. They do the pool weekly service and chemicals. They were friendly and easy to deal with when they came to open the pool. I was very pleased and I would recommend them.

After Anthony & Sylvan installed them, they never worked even after several return visits by A/S electrical and gas contractors. It was concluded that the igniters were defective and not suited to our environment. Anthony & Sylvan offered to convert them to manual ignition. I did not purchase "manual ignition," and do not want manual ignition. They also failed electrical inspection.

Anthony & Sylvan built the pool and I’ve had them open and close all the time for years. They explained to me how everything is going. I always watch them and I ask questions, and they answer the questions promptly and nicely. They were very nice when they were closing the pool and informative, too. I already recommended Anthony & Sylvan to people down the street.

I was using another pool service and switched to Anthony & Sylvan. I wasn't satisfied with the costs of the previous pool service. Anthony & Sylvan is very responsive. I use them for opening, closing and servicing the broiler. The service people who come out are very cooperative, interactive, approachable and they’re easy to work with as far as dates.

Out of the three companies I was looking at, Anthony & Sylvan's customer service was by far superior than the others. I had them install a pool for me which they closed in the fall and would be opening in the spring for me. Everyone that’s come out to help with the build was phenomenal and has top-notched communication. It was pleasant of them to inform me with everything that they were doing. And anytime I would call, they'd be right on top of things. They would explain things step-by-step and would have all the right answers.

I use Anthony & Sylvan for just about everything. They come over to get things done and then, they're gone. Also, they usually got what I need. In fact, I bought my supplies there. Overall, they do a good job!

Anthony & Sylvan was very easy to deal with and all our interactions with them were fine. And our pool, a rectangular and standard one, doesn't leak and it works.

I’ve tried several local pool people and was very dissatisfied, so I called Anthony & Sylvan who put this pool in 30 years ago and they’ve been easy to work with. I told them my problem, they set a date and they were here when they said they’re going to be. They did the closing of the pool and equipment upgrades. Two years ago, I had them close the pool. Everything went beautifully and they installed one of the safety covers for me that year as well. When I went to open the pool the next spring, I could not get one of the plugs out that they had put in as part of the closing. I called them, they sent a three people team that arrived four hours after I called and they were here for almost two hours solving the problem.

Anthony & Sylvan Pools built my pool and since then, we have been using them for opening and closing as well as some add-on equipment installation. When the installer had the add-on equipment installed, he noted that there was a need to upgrade one piece of the equipment. They did not have that with them and it was an oversight from the original review of what was required. Basically, when they closed the pool, they took out the wrong piece and I've got all my accounts that when they come and open the pool in spring, they'll bring the additional capacity with them and put that in place at no charge. The guy I had owned his own business which opens and closes the pool and it was half the cost which was pretty significant. But, I’ve had a couple of summers that the filter wasn’t working properly so I went back to Anthony & Sylvan even though they’re a little pricey but at the end of the day, my pool is functioning better.
