I just received my camera, lens and other goodies yesterday. I ordered another lens today as the one I ordered directly from Canon is on back order with no time given on when it'll be back in stock. I need it now! I've been happy so far with the customer service, availability of products and prices.

Hello there it's just past memorial day sale and I made a purchase of a New Nikon P1000 camera. I applied for EZ Credit and was quickly approved, I will be looking forward to receiving this camera and enjoying its capabilities, especially the zoom.

I upgraded my sweet little Fuji X-T1 to a Fuji X-T3 for a price that I couldn't even believe! I have purchased from Abe's before and have always been happy with the service I've received and the products I have purchased. I am a customer for life!

Where do I start? I could start saying WOW!! That was something beside waste 1 hour of my time without be able to purchase the camera over the phone. Everyone who answered early today they need take class of anger management. I called. After 5 minutes of waiting time to get connected someone was answering and put me on hold and when they got back with me, they were rushing, and bothered about my questioning about the buying, about the Canon RP or R, I mean I didn't even tried to shopping or bragging about I was determined to buy, so I called to buy, but the first person when I called was annoyed when I immediately said "I need to purchase a camera and have a question about some lenses." So she answered in a nasty way telling me "ok which lenses?" So I took a second to answer and she start to go crazy, screaming at me over the phone... she went "hello, speaking, hurry up!"

You good camprar with you, unfortunately I don't speak English so I found it a little difficult to make the purchase and the confirmation of this purchase, I got a call from one of your employees but I couldn't communicate with him for not speaking in English, maybe if if you had people fluent in Spanish it would be easier for your clients of other nationalities. I had purchased a 500 mm zoom lens and because I’m temporarily living in VT there was a discrepancy noticed between my billing address of PA and the shipping address of VT. I received a call from a rep who wanted to verify the purchase which I greatly appreciated! He also noticed the hood I’d ordered was the wrong size for the lens I was getting and corrected that. He went on to mention a couple other offers and gave me a 3 year warranty at the 2 year price. All are reasons I returned for my most recent purchase.

Hopefully it is here in 2 days! I am counting on getting it this week as I have a very important shoot coming up. The site was very good to engage with so I am just counting on how the delivery and packaging of the equipment comes in.

Wanted an extra camera to shoot sports with and they pointed me in the right direction being a Nikon user. Salesperson was very helpful and suggested the D500 because of its speed and accuracy. Also pointed out my current lenses will work well.

Best prices on key gear! Website a little dated vs competitors like Adorama, BH Photo - they have things like Apple Pay for much faster checker. They also have much more affordable accident policies for gear. But overall Abe’s had deals unmatched anywhere else.

I've used Abe's before but had trouble receiving the product on time. I'm hopeful that this will work out. I paid of 2 day delivery but then there's the 1-3 day delay in shipping. My camera is broken and I need a replacement soon.

Had been looking to purchase the Nikon D850 for some time and found the spring sale offered by Abe's of Maine, order processing was easy. Looking forward to the new purchase to arrive. A friend has the D850 and the detail in the pictures at times surpasses the D500 my current camera.

Trying to buy this Canon 40 mm lens for a 2nd time. For unknown reason, my first order for this lens was cancelled. When you cancel an order, you should provide a reason. To not do so is not good customer support.

What I thought I was purchasing was not what was received. Supplier did not process shipment until I called them; at which point they put me "on the escalator" with a number of misrepresented items. Contacted Abe's of Maine the day I received the products, still waiting for a return authorization code for the full amount. I've been in contact numerous times since Thursday 4/15 via phone calls & messages, as well as emails. Filed a complaint with my credit card company. Will ship contents back once return code is issued.

Lenses for Macro that fit EOS camera. Listed order has a telephoto lens. Wrong lens, listed as Macro, Had to reorder and want the lens on ** canceled. Have created a second order for the Macro version. I will be able to evaluate my experience if original order is reduced to the lens tulip only and only it and my second order is shipped and billed.

I love that I can call and talk my order through with someone and that I can trust that they, if they think I'm making a mistake, will direct me to something that is better suited to my needs, even if it costs less.

The purchase of Sony A7R VI was quick and easy. I will update this review if I receive the camera in the time frame described. 2 day shipping I paid for. I have looked at this Camera and even ordered at Walmart. I will have to return the Walmart Camera. This was $400 cheaper.

First Order, I ordered the Nikon P950 because I find ancient rock art ruins of Atlantis in Colorado and the zoom capabilities save me a lot of hiking to get to the ruins. I use AI to turn my pictures into amazing art which I named Galería de Atlante on Facebook. Many are on private property and I can photograph them from public roads. Pictures Ancient steeples with King and Queen in center.

I have two Sony cameras. One is Sony NEX FX700 and Sony Alpha A1, 70-200mm is my favorite lens. This lens is mainly for Sony Alpha A1. This lens is very fast, it is both good for landscape and video too.

Upon ordering the Canon 90D, imported model, for a good price. One that y’all pay Google to get it to be at the top of the page when I searched, I was called by a sales person who wanted to know if I wanted to buy the US version for a price that was a hundred or so higher as it came with a warranty and a color box. The sales person, while very nice and professional, really tried to steer me to the more expensive one by saying that the gray market one might not come in on time. I understand drop shipping just fine but how y’all sell things that you do not have is a bit strange. I can buy the exact camera from Canon on their website for the same price except the one they have is a refurb. The person is going to call me back today to let me know if the one I ordered will be in by the 25th of the month. Not an ideal purchase IMHO.

Tried numerous times to add the special financing and it did not work. Called for assistance and was told someone would call me back and that did not happen. Called today and was told that the camera I was trying to order was completely sold out. He would put my name on the waitlist and have someone call me when the camera is in stock. When I checked online it said that the camera was in stock. Bad experience so far.

I had intended to add filters to my order but was not satisfied with the selection. I struggled to find the correct filters, recommended accs came up as a 62mm filet kit but I needed 77. I found 77mm but there was no brand info. I looked for tiffen next, but you don't handle tiffen. Same issue with ring lighting also on my shopping list

I wish I would have found this store before I bought some other items that I found much cheaper here. Can't wait to get my new lens. I will be back to purchase more items when I need to get more items for my new photography endeavor.

Abe's is my go-to whenever I need quality camera equipment, and they've never disappointed. This time I was offered a discount on a camera from a friend on another site. I agreed, paid, and then played the waiting game because their inventory was inaccurate and they didn't have the camera I needed. So I had to cancel, and once again, Abe's filled in where others couldn't. Quality products, quality service, and always bailing me out of a jam. You guys rock!

I am pleased with my Abe's of Maine shopping experience, thus far. Prices seem reasonable. However, I just completed my online order, so I am not inclined to give a 5 star review until I receive delivery of my order.

I ordered a Canon EOS R mirrorless digital camera because Abe's $1,549 price was $250 cheaper than everyone else for the camera body only. This should have been a major red flag. The next day I got an email from Michael at Abe's saying that I needed to call and verify the purchase, so I did. I was then informed that I had ordered the international version and not the US version. I said that wasn't an option on their website and that I would have never ordered an international version. He told me I was wrong and that it is there (I checked and there is no such option).

This was my first experience with Abe's of Maine. I Ordered the Sigma 150-600mm long lens at a great price. I have yet to receive my purchase and hope it will meet all my satisfactions. Checkout was quick and easy.

I just checked your order status tool and it says the status of my order is "Cancel"... I placed this order on Black Friday 2020, so I'm Very disappointed that I was never contacted about any delays from the original ETA, nor was I given any notifications, that my previous order was cancelled for some unknown reason. I've also emailed Customer Service and not yet heard back. On a $3k transaction... What Gives?

The guy who called me tried to upsell me several thousand more than my original order, then said the original order was a Japanese model and all words were in Japanese. Kept calling me and when I told him to cancel the order, he said there would be a cancellation fee. I called customer support and that guy was super rude as well. Kept asking for an order number even though I told him I was driving and then just hung up on me.

Placed an order for an canon and 2 lenses and less than 24 hours was contacted regarding my order that one of the lenses was on back order. If it was a kit why wasn't it in stock?! He then tried to get me to up my order or cancel the lens all together. I told him I purchased this lens from Best buy that he was trying to get me to spend another $300 on. He came back with, "You bought it off there," like yelling at me for it. He was very rude and demanding to make a decision and didn't give me time to think. I was at work and needed to talk with my husband. The rep stated that the camera I ordered was coming from China, which I wouldn't have ordered if it had stated that on the website! He said I would have to pay more for the retail version?! As I was taking notes and told ADAM I was so I could talk with my husband, he made the snarky comment "I'm just trying to help but you if you don't want it". It was a good experience. I found that there were a few hiccups with the website. It cycled and returned to a spot where I didn't want to be. But otherwise it was a totally nice experience. I'm happy. I'm hoping that the follow through with shipping and delivery is just as good experience.

I had questions about the product, and called twice. Both times I was on hold for very long times before hanging up. First time, at around 10 minutes, I was offered a call-back. I didn't do that because I thought "I'm #1 in the queue, I'll get through soon." Not so. I hung after 15 min. Second time I hung up at 7 min w/out being offered a call-back. I expect waits at this busy time of year, but I recommend the call-back option much sooner.

I hope this lens works with my son's camera. This is the 2nd time I've tried to purchase it from your store. The first time, I received an order confirmation and then the next morning an order cancellation. When I called to ask what happened, I was told the lens was out of stock and that I would get an email when they were back in stock. I just happened to be checking and saw that the website again says it's in stock but I never received an email notification. I hope the purchase goes through and the lens is shipped successfully.

I needed a point & shoot camera that would fit in my pocket. My older one had fewer features that I needed and found those in the CoolPix A1000. The camera is just great. My wife liked it so much that we just ordered one for her as well.

They have one thing listed on their website then you receive a phone call saying you selected the 'international version' which 'doesn't come with warranty, camera strap, battery, or camera body cap.' I was excited about being financed through their partner so I said okay. I wish I wouldn't have because I found exactly want I wanted through a major retailer for $1,000 less.

If you want to buy anything from this company over the phone you need to deal with Ted. He's a total bait and switcher. The website will give you a special "deal price" to hook you, but then over the phone they will try and trick you into spending 700$ more for the same exact item, saying that the cheaper version is from China and the more expensive one is from Japan (???). Talk about false advertising!
