It was easy to do and even gave suggestions on things to buy with it like the case. I found the website easy to maneuver through and I was able to get what I needed. The camera is out of stock on most websites but this one so I hope it gets to me in a timely manner because I need it soon.

This was one of the easiest processes for my purchase for a new camera and the prices are the best I could find anywhere online or in stores. Advertised a good price. Placed order. Order held until I returned a phone call to sales to be upsold on a warranty and told that the product was grey market (no mention on website of this). Went ahead and bought the product anyway. Shipped it FedEx with signature required. Since I cannot be home for the shipments, I tried to get FedEx to hold the product at a facility for pickup. They told me that Abe's shipped it requiring no changes allowed to delivery. Now, I have to play the game of the product being out on a truck for two days before FedEx will hold it after two failed attempts. If you've never missed a signature required delivery, you can't pick it up until after 5pm and then you only have until 7 pm to get it. Then, it goes out on a truck again so you can't get it. After two days of this, you then only have a couple of days to make it into the FedEx facility before they return to sender. This shop is so annoying. I should have just ordered from Amazon.

Good price for this product. The lens is excellent for my purposes. Delivery took about a week as it shipped across country by ground delivery. FedEx said they had been instructed not to permit redirect of the delivery to its local facility for pick-up, so I had to stay home on day of delivery to sign for the parcel.

I purchase a Canon R3 for $4700 from Abe's of Maine. I knew it was an international model, which was fine. I received an email asking me to call in, and experienced buyers know what happened next. Michael ** told me the camera did not come with a battery (which was NOT disclosed on the description (SKU CNEOSR3). He was willing to sell me a battery for $300, which caught me off guard, but then told me I could have the now expired President's Day price for the US model, which came with more items that apparently were not included in the international version, such as an eye cap, camera strap, oh and a "Black USA Version" box, all for the price of $5,700.

Scammed me for 1923.99. Never got items. Refused to help. Had to beg to get them to file a claim as Fedex directed. Lisa ** who handles claims remained unresponsive for an almost a month, they literally have no care for their customers just money hungry. This is unprofessional. Unacceptable and extremely unfair to me. I’m hoping an agency or agencies can take legal action and assist me with getting my money back. This is insane. My bank flagged the transaction and closed my account after attempting to dispute the value. I’m guessing the company is known or expected for fraudulent activity. So be careful guys. If things go left they will not be there to help. There are so many other business with actual efficient customer service. I’m so upset I chose them and didn’t read reviews sooner. I was looking for Fuji x100v and Abe's of Maine has it and it says, I have to place an order within a certain hours for the President's Day sale. Price was $1,749. I saw an option to apply for a credit which it associates with the company "Abe's of Maine." After applying for a credit card I was approved and I purchased fuji x100v, but price went up to $1,769 within a few minutes. I was ready to pay $20 dollars for the camera I was longing for a long time. After purchasing it, I called them to ask few questions about the camera's accessories and they said, camera is backed order. Tthey will send me when it is available. What a bummer... If that is the case, I can order same camera from Adorama and their price is $1,399. Why do I need to pay $250 extra for the same camera. Disappointed!!!! Make sure to ask them if it is available before purchasing it.

I just ordered a EF100 f2.8L lens from Abe's of Maine for $889.00. Now I get an email to call and verify my order. Turns out that the $889 lens is a knock off from China... just a bare lens. No caps, no hood, no Canon box. Takes 4 weeks to import it... but they will gladly upgrade me to the genuine Canon Japanese import for $1100. I just wanted to let people know that Abe's of Maine sells these Chinese knock off lenses. Be careful what you order.

Found a great deal on a Fuji camera for $1450. I called them to change the from the silver model to black and had a really sketchy experience. They basically told me the camera I ordered was an import model and didn't have come with a camera cap, and proceeded to very quickly try to upsell me some expensive accessories....a lens cap, strap, battery, and charger for an extra $349. I thought an SD card was also included, but when my package arrived, there was no card. Be extremely wary of this company and their overpriced upsells. I feel taken advantage of with their bait and switch practices. I will not purchase from this shady company again.

As others have mention, no mention of a product being "Gray" Market on the site. Purchased a Sony 70-200 GM2, got a call saying it as the import model, no box, no warranty, no caps. They sold me the "kit" to add the original Sony Box and Warranty for an extra $200. Who wants to purchase a $2700 item with no warranty.

This company is a MASTER at bait and switch tactics. Yes the prices are great until you complete a purchase and they call saying what you bought isn't what you actually bought and have to pay extra to get a "US" version and not grey market. Example went to buy a Sigma lens at a great price. Lo and behold I get a call two days later and the rep says the lens I bought is grey market and does not come with a warranty or even lens caps and I need to pay 200 extra dollars to get the US version. They may also try to sell you an extended warranty stating you don't get a warranty otherwise.. Avoid this place like the plague.

They do not have the products that they claim to have in stock, the whole operation is a scam bait and switch where they try to upsell you, and cancel your order if they fail to do so. I ordered a Sony 200-600 mm lens from them, only to be called by a sales rep saying that the lens I ordered does not come with the lens cap, but for only $300 more he could get me that AND the *extended warranty*. I said no thanks, and he grumpily hung up. I checked back and my order was cancelled with no explanation. Further follow up messages to them gave no response.

There is no grey market warning. In fact, the item description says, all accessories included. But sure enough, I get a call with just the same bait and switch that another reviewer had mentioned. Also this grey market item was now going to take 4 weeks to arrive when I'd originally been told 3-5 days on my checkout.

I found the exact Sony OLED tv I wanted on the Abe's of Maine website for $200 less than Amazon so I placed an order for it. Less than 30 minutes later I get a call from them advising me that they are out of stock of this particular model but could they possibly switch me to a better/newer/different model for the same price??? When I asked why they were selling an out-of-stock model on their website, all I got was hemming and hawing and a lame apology. This is a classic bait and switch tactic and he was persistent in trying to get me to NOT cancel my order and instead switch me to a different model tv. What a sleazy racket!!! Needless to say I cancelled my order and consider myself lucky to not what done any business with these people.
