Good price. Easy website to buy. Want to see more promotions or affordable items as l as o v you can share more related accessories. I wasn’t sure about tax and shipping. No tax is a big deal for me. Pls give more explanation of how it works. Your website can improve by looking more credible.

I was able to call and get answers to questions immediately. The salesman was helpful and kind with me. He asked appropriate questions. I ordered today, so I have not received my item yet, but I am excited to see my new lens! I am happy about the price as well. I shopped during their pre-black Friday sale.

I ordered a camera and got an email to contact them saying they couldn't process my order so I replied. Then I replied again. Then I replied again. Then I called and they said they aren't back until after a holiday. Then I called and they still said they weren't back even after the holiday. Then I called and emailed again and I never got an email or a person on the phone so I just simply gave up trying to order. So I am trying to order the same camera again and the only reason I am not giving my experience one star is because it is not resolved yet. If I actually receive my order I will update my review gladly as I really want the camera.

It was easy to place the order. There were no problems in placing the order but having issues with connecting it to affirm. My wife takes a lot of pictures and the fact that the camera is small but very good is what she is looking for. She currently has a Cannon Rebel T3 camera but feels that it is too big to be able to lug it around. This is the perfect gift for her.

Great price, in stock, easy to order. Hoping to have in time for the holidays as this will be a gift. I will definitely come back to Abe’s for future purchases. Thank you very much for the great service.

The price of the lens was fantastic – hundreds of dollars lower than anywhere else – so I jumped on the opportunity. The website is easy to navigate, and checkout was simple. I did not interact with any of the staff at Abe's, and I haven't received my lens yet, so I will leave another review if there are any problems.

The next day sales person calls me and says that camera is sold without a battery and I have to pay $100+ more for a battery. Cancelled the order.

I like when y’all call back to make sure it’s the right order, and when it don’t in stock y’all send me a email when you have my order, and when you getting ready to ship it, the a email to tell me y’all have to to my to change the order.

SCAMMERS… they are. They advertised low price, and I asked for urgent delivery and placed the order. AND then they told me that a local version will be available at much HIGHER price (and comes with extra battery and charger etc)… and can be shipped overnight. I was in a jam so ordered it. BUT their package was not complete AND they never picked up my phone after that.

Purchase was easy and cost was fair. Abe's of Maine was the only company that had this specific model for below $1000. Other websites had it listed for 1599 which is insane. Or they were "Out of Stock". I hope the product is in good shape and real. Looking forward to buying more from Abe's of Maine if this goes well.

Looked at several camera dealers and Abe’s of Maine had a price $100 cheaper than anyone else. I ordered online and about an hour later was awakened from my nap by a phone call to verify my address. Was then asked if I wanted a battery, of course I did, anyway after I truly woke up I realized I’d been up sold $200 more than the up dealers and called Abe’s to go back to the original sales order. Too late I was told they’d already shipped it. Very doubtful, but my option is to return it all and pay 10% return fee. Not a particularly good business model. Ends up being a one and done deal with no returning business. They should paycheck out L L Bean for a business that has returning customers.

Love this company! Great customer service. This is my second purchase from the website and I am sure it won't be my last. I ordered a Canon 6d Mark II early 2024 and it had a bad battery, AOM worked with me to get the issue resolved. I then had to send in my camera to get the electrical panel replaced. I did have to pay $150 in shipping which wasn't great. but I at least got my $2000 camera working.

I bought a Canon R5 with lenses, but returned them because Abe's is NOT authorized to sell Canon. That means no warranty. No software updates. No nothing. One of the lenses didn't even arrive in a Canon box! BEWARE!

Absolute scam company. Will list something for one price. Charge you another. They don't have any other shipping method other than when they feel like shipping. Do not buy. 80 dollar next day air. It will not come.

**UNAUTHORIZED CANON DEALER BEWARE.** I purchased a camera from Abe's of Maine, and when I tried to register it on the Canon website, Canon told me that this camera serial number is invalid because, "The serial number entered indicates this product was not intended for sale in the United States and is ineligible for registration and support in the U.S." Their customer support is atrocious on this matter (incredibly rude), so if you are intending to purchase, despite the wording on their website and all of their Google product Ads, do not purchase from these guys because they are unauthorized to sell the cameras they are selling. They also sent the product with accessories that were not Canon products (like batteries) despite their product listing. If you want a good camera buying experience, this is not the place. This place is a total scam.

I just purchased an item (a Fujifilm X100VI that I have been saving for for years) and I’m hoping this is an actual business. The website looks great and prices are super clear, but it would be great if you could revamp the website and make it a bit more modern looking. I’m sure a lot of your customers would appreciate it!

I just got a bait and switch from these guys. I bought a Canon SX740 HS from their site. Site said it was available to ship. I get an email from them to get an agent a call. I call and he first said he wanted to verify that I was a real person. Then he goes on to tell me that the item is on backorder now for 4-5 months. Then he say, that they have a retail version available for $899 but since I couldn't get my original item they would discount it $100. This retail version came with an extra battery and charge. The MSRP on the camera is $489. I let him know this was a classic bait and switch and not at all appreciated nor should a company like Abe's engage in it. Well they do. They canceled my order. I checked their website again and the item is ready to ship for $579 - which is what I paid for. The chances of getting this camera for this price 0%. This is just to lure you in. This is such a slimy tactic.

I bought a birthday gift for my daughter. Checkout process seems great. Thanks for your help. I overnighted the product-hopefully it comes on time. You were the only people who had the camera so I appreciate that. This was a big help. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I found a good deal on a camera, the Canon PowerShot SX740, so I placed the order. The next day, I got a message to call someone at Abe's of Maine about the order. I did and was told that my order was the 'international' version of the camera, would take 3-5 weeks to arrive, and didn't have any accessories (case, battery, charger, cables). However, they could ship the 'retail' version the next day. The retail version would only cost an extra $350 (camera was $540). Since I was in no rush, I declined and requested the one I bought.

I have been on the fence for sometime and have been shopping several sites. Abe's of Maine is by far the best price-wise. With the significant amount of money I saved, I was able to splurge on next day air shipping so I can have the gear ready for my next shoot this week. Looking forward to testing it out. Hoping everything arrives on time and in mint condition.

Good experience so far minus promo codes not working. Excited to see how quickly I get my order as that will ultimately determine how my experience was. Always hesitant to not buy from a large retailer.

Very smooth process, no issues in ordering the Canon 100-500 mm lens. What would be great is to include more information, description and specifications. Also if there are reviews of what you’re ordering that would be very helpful. I needed to go to another photography retailer site to find the information about what size filter to buy and it would have been nice to see any reviews of the lens.

Even when it's not the holidays, Abe's of Maine has lesser sales prices on products, especially cameras! Geez, the Nikon Z8 is usually $4999 but here they had a -1900 sales reduction. Geez, BHPhoto wouldn't offer this. I haven't shopped here before but had seen ads of Google many times when I searched for camera gear. I think in the future I'll buy more things from this business since they're able to sell what I can afford.

I ordered this camera because Abe's of Maine offered such a "sweet" deal. I will be photographing basketball great LeBron James soon so I had to have the best. Thanks Abe for the deal! You can be sure I'll be coming back to this company. I know my prized camera will arrive safely and in divine order time. Thanks again!!!

So far so good - I just placed an order and am now waiting to receive it. We'll see how it goes since this is my first time with Abe's. I don't know what else to say until I see my purchase and then we will see how well Abe's does. I am a long time B & H Photo customer and am trying Abe's for the first time.

I have been wanting to replace my well used Canon SX740 for some time. Abe's had a new camera available, and I hope it arrives soon. Love this camera, for ease of use and great pictures that it can do. For a point and shoot camera, it can't be beat.

Great Price!! If you're not familiar with Abe's of Maine they're a very reliable and ethical photos equipment supplier. I bought from them many times throughout the years and have always been happy with their Gray Market lenses from the big camera vendors. Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Panasonic always produce good product and you can rely on Abe's of Maine to get it to you at the lowest cost.

Ordered a lens for my son in law. Chose Abe’s due to the competitive price. Late that day received an email saying they needed to confirm the order. I figured it made sense since I was buying it but shipping it to a different state. While on the phone, they said the lens had been updated to better quality, would I like to upgrade the order. I said for the same price that’d be great! Of course that was not doable. The “upgraded” version of the lens was $300 or so more. I said, "That’s fine, I’ll stick with the order I made." I was told they don’t have the lens. I asked, “you don’t have the lens that you advertised and cannot get it?” That’s what he was saying, so I should upgrade the order. I told him to cancel it, and to beware if I was charged. “We are a reputable company, we’ve been in business for 49 years. Yaddah yaddah yaddah.” B&H, and the other big names are what I’m sticking to from now on.

BUYER BEWARE: I recently had a highly disappointing experience with this company when purchasing a camera. I placed an online order for a camera advertised as in stock with the bundle for $1,143.99. Shortly after, I received a call from a representative named Michael ** to confirm the order. Initially, the conversation seemed straightforward but rapidly turned into a high-pressure upsell attempt. Michael spoke quickly and offered various "free" items, which, in hindsight, felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. What really surprised me was that after my card was charged an amount much higher than I approved—$1,643.99—I was informed that the camera I originally ordered wasn't available and was an international version, which was never stated on their website. Instead, Michael tried to convince me that he was doing me a "favor" by offering a different bundle package, but this was never mentioned during the initial sales conversation.

Upon placing the order, did not see the delivery date to ensure it will arrive on time. Amazon always gives you the delivery date prior to confirmation of order. I'm concerned my order will not arrive on time before my trip. Can you at least list the delivery date with each order?
