I have purchased Vizio product since 2008. Never had an issue until I got my Smart cast tv. This tv is slow, I have had to reset to factory setting three times in a two year period and more importantly the WIFI no longer works on it. This is the last time I purchase a Vizio, and by the way the customer service team has not been able to help me even though I have the warranty. You have been warned. Don't do it

I purchased a Vizio tv in August of this year and the TV only lasted 2 months when lines started to form up and down on my screen. I contact vizio's warranty department and they explain to me to take pics of the TV and my receipt. Then after days go by I'm told I'll get a replacement TV within 5 to 7 business days which was a complete lie. I kept contacting vizio and they kept coming up with excuses saying it hasn't shipped yet when I was told it was suppose to ship from the day I was approved on getting the replacement.
Then after all that a week goes by and I went to a local ups to pick up my new replacement and ups gave me my new replacement with smashed screen. So I had to give it back to ups and now still waiting for another replacement and vizio doesn't do anything to help the customer out. I been waiting almost a month now with no working TV. Do not buy any type of products from Vizio. I repeat do not, they are one big scam company that do not care about their customers.

We bought this TV probably 2 years ago now and have called Vizio probably 15 times, 3 of them within the first month of having the TV. It came with a warranty that they obviously don't follow through with. It has internet connection problems, casting issues, freezing issues and more. We will never buy anything Vizio again.

The TV does not work well. It keeps losing connection to the internet... Yet the TV in the other room by another brand does not have the same issues. So I know it is not the internet. I have to unplug the TV as the remote will not turn the TV on every single time after I turn it off after this error. Today I've done it 5 times already. Other days the remote will just quit working and it is not the batteries. Everything about the TV remote set up is a constant glitch waiting to happen. I would not recommend and will not buy another from this brand.

I see a lot of one-star comments on here and those people must be doing something wrong because I have zero complaints about my 4K Vizio with Dolby Vision Enhancement. The apps available are more than adequate and the tv has lightning-fast response to any action. Now that being said, I have T-mobile 5G WiFi running through it hooked up through an Ethernet cable. Sometimes the air can be unreliable. More than likely the major complainers have crap internet and expect it to perform awesome. Not happening.
I also have Directv Stream hooked up to my Vizio and between that and the Smartcast that comes with the tv, there’s no app and no channel I can’t get. Roku? No thanks. Most tv manufacturers offer Roku as a selling point to get you to buy a junk tv and it works but not for me. I couldn’t be happier with my Vizio. Oh, and another thing, stay away from the 55” and bigger TVs. Most people buy them like it’s a contest to see who can brag about having the biggest screen? Compensating boys? It’s a fact that the smaller screens have the best picture. Big screens spread everything too thin to make a crisp picture. Vizio+T-Mobile internet+Dolby vision enhancement is the perfect combination. I couldn’t be happier with my Vizio tv and its user-friendly operations. When it comes down to it though, the tv is just a conduit. Get better internet people and your Vizio will perform like a champ.

This TV is by far worse than the cheap off brand TV that I have. It constantly freezes, refuses to connect to the internet, shuts off, lags, etc. It regularly has to be unplugged to get it to work again. It does not work with multiple casting options such as Twitch. It does not have an option to download several popular streaming apps. It is filled with bloatware that you cannot delete and bogs down the system. Overall do not recommend this TV in the least, would be better off using a Roku device on the TV.

Our 75 inch tv only lasted two years. Never had a tv only last two years. Manufacturers should not be allowed to make products that do not last more than a couple years. One year warranty is a dodge and a lie. We should not be forced to buy crap then eat it because the company did not disclose known issues. This is planned obsolescence at its best. Work around the law and act like it is good business. Vizio knows there are issues and have a Class Action lawsuit because of them.

I have barely had this television for a year, actually trouble began two weeks prior to one year. It constantly loops with updates and starting over. It will not shut off with the remote. I have to unplug. I have talked over this issue with the technician (Oh Brother!). Same stuff over and over with different people all from out of the country. Now I am told that I cannot get a refund or another television because I bought it at Costco. Supposedly another person to call after this issue has been corrected on their end. Horrible service and accountability. How hard is it to replace or refund the television. People I spoke to nice enough but no real help or answers. Really really unhappy and I will warn everyone not to buy their products as they do not give good customer care and back up their product.

Just like another recent reviewer, I've got a Vizio TV with SmartCast that is useless. A recent SmartCast update is causing a looping situation of TV shutting down after 1 minute, then restarts. How about a class action?

I bought a TV on Jan 27. On Friday 9/2 Vizio sent an update that rendered the TV useless. It's in a constant loop of restarting. Every day for the last 10 days all they want to do is have me troubleshoot the TV. I'm tired. I haven't had a working TV in 2 weeks. And it's under warranty. They won't give me my money back and they won't give me a new TV cause they're convinced they can fix it. All I want to do is watch TV. And I can't. All I want is my money back. They suck at support.

I bought my 58 in Vizio V-Series on clearance on July 23, 2022 I plug it in and am using it after 2 hours a group of white lines go up and down the screen so I call customer service and they helped a lot at first. I sent a picture of what was wrong and a picture of the receipt to prove I had just bought it that day. They make a service request and tell me that the tv will be shipped in 12-16 business days after 16 business days they tell me that there are delays so it's going to add another 5-7 business days. I moved into my college dorm on August 20th and the tv still wasn’t delivered so I had to change the delivery address because I was moving out of state. They tell me it's changed and that it should be shipped on the 21st. I get a delivery date for September 2nd 2022.
September 1st I get a call from Vizio Support and they tell me that I told the delivery company to cancel my service request so I tell them that I never canceled my request. The next day I get a call from Vizio Support again and they tell me that they have to make another service request because they canceled the previous one. So basically I get to wait another 12-16 business days to maybe get my new tv. It has been over a month since I put in my first service request and I just want a tv that doesn’t have a bunch of white lines going down the screen.

Purchased Vizio 58" Class - V-Series - 4K UHD LED LCD TV. I failed to purchase extended warranty. Vizio performs automatic firmware updates. The latest, literally, killed the tv sending it into black screen. Nothing attempted by Vizio technicians worked to recover damage done by them through this intrusion, unsolicited update. Because I had no warranty, they abandoned my issue, leaving me cold. The tv was great until they performed this program update of the firmware. Now I have nothing because of them.

Not even a month after I purchased this tv is it horrible. The remote glitches (when I turn the volume up, it just keeps turning up by itself until it hits 100). The internet does not connect, no matter if I reboot my tv, or factory reset it (or unplug it). This television is the worst tv ever. Not to mention, no apps work because every time you click the home button, the tv just keep saying 'cannot connect or no network setting' even though it is connected to my wifi. I then have to reboot it to have the home screen work. REMIND YOU, THIS IS ALL BEFORE THE INTERNET ON THE TV STOPPED CONNECTING TO IT. I am over it. I cannot even return it and I am out $500 and a faulty tv. I hope they get sued.

We purchased the Vizio V-Series 65 in. Class 4K HDR Smart TV V655-J09. BEWARE - After a couple months of using it occasionally the screen is GREEN from the middle to the bottom. Every time we turn it on, we see this screen and need to turn it off and back on. This is horrible and Vizio customer service manager was condescending and insulting by asking us how long we have worked in the TV electronics area, and that is saying nicely. We are a veteran family of over 20-years and worked in the electronic area for most of them. Their policy is that they must troubleshoot the issue before taking any action to fix or replace so we are stuck with a DEFECTIVE TV. Waste of money and time!

Only reason why I gave it a 2 star is because of the first 10 months I owned the tv. I bought a 40 inch Vizio TV about a year and a half ago. I was super excited since it was a smart TV and had the option to cast my phone to it. Also thought with it being a smart TV you can go to the App Store and get the apps you wanted, you can’t but being able to cast my phone to the tv solved that solution. The TV worked fine for about 10 months.
The only issue I had was that I had to unplug it like once a month. Didn’t bother me since I travel for work or personal stuff a lot. But about 8 months ago the problems keep getting worse and worse. From freezing for a few seconds to just closing apps. Now, I can’t even open up Netflix. Everything I watch, within 2-6 minutes, it ends up freezing for 3-10 seconds like it’s buffering when I know my internet is good enough so that’s not the issue. When using the remote EVERYTHING lags on it. Turning down the volume makes the TV lag, trying scroll through apps, turning the tv off, literally using their own home page makes it lag, everything is slow and lags. And there has maybe been 1 or 2 system update since I had it so nothing is getting accomplished with this tv.
On top of all that, you can’t add other apps. Or if you can, I can figure it out. For example one of the apps I watch a lot isn’t in the list of 100 apps you have to scroll through hoping the app you want is in it. Which takes and hour because of how slow the tv is. I mentioned casting my phone to the tv, that’s slower and more grainy than watching an app. It’s an absolute joke. I know I will never spend my money on a Vizio TV. Which is sad because the their old TVs were solid. If you only plan on having the TV short term, it’s an option. Otherwise don’t waste your time with a lemon.

Well that excitement lasted 3 weeks, starts out slow having to unplug the TV from the wall once or twice a month to either get the picture back, be able to turn off tv, connect to internet, watch movies, gaming, basically use the TV. Well just past the 90 day return policy and now up to minimum 5 times a week having to due a hard reset to get this thing to work, 3 times in the last hour. I don't know what happened to Vizio, had such good luck with last TV. Over $800 wasted. Do yourself a favor, don't walk, run away from any Vizio product you may be considering, Junk, headache, boat anchor,. Friends don't let friends buy Vizio. I just bought the TV. Did not noticed it cannot be unplugged from the TV itself. One has to unplug from the wall. It is located in my book shelf (8 feet tall full of books) I had to remove everything out to plug it on the wall, and put back all the books. After one month, it won't come on, told to unplug to reboot. Turned the TV around to unplug and realized I would have to remove all the books turn the furniture to the side, and so on. It is not a keeper. My Samsung needs to the unplugged too (I guess all of them need it now). I am 72 years old, even if one has to go down on their knees all the time to reboot, unplug and plug in, it is a joke. I am done with TV's, there is nothing to watch anyhow. Buy books!

In particular, after watching satellite tv, I can’t get it to do anything and have to unplug it to turn it off. I can’t even turn it off from the switch on the tv itself. Vizio support tells me there is a bug in their remotes? The tv hutch is permanently away from my wall now so I can reach the plug. After reading everyone else's reviews I feel almost lucky but yeah this tv is bogus all the same. Mostly, it's the interface. I press a directional button on the remote to go into an app. There is a solid 3-5 second delay. So long I think maybe the batteries are dead. Press some more. Then 15 seconds later it catches up and now you've moved 18 apps over instead of the 3 you intended. Repeat like 5 more times. It's bananas. My internet is solid. It also just randomly goes black. It looks like it's off. Until you get up close to it. It's emitting a solid black picture. The remote won't work. Nothing will work. You have to unplug it and wait another half hour for a reboot and the remote to work (on a 15 second delay) and finally you'll return to that clunky dinosaur they may call SmartCast. Very oxymoronic.
I'd be more mad but my dad bought this tv for himself without consulting me or the interwebs like a good consumer. The box showed up and I proclaimed "WHAT IS THIS?!?" I said it would be too cumbersome for him to use 'cause it wasn't ROKU and I wasn't gonna be fielding calls spending hours of my life troubleshooting that piece of junk. The compromise I was gifted this junk to primarily game on. (If you're just going to game on it, it might pass muster) and he got an LG that I agreed to setup and field his troubleshooting calls on. I don't have to field ANY calls about it. Wait I had to relog him into youtube or something once.
If he had kept this tv...totes it would have negatively impacted my life and been a stress I had to deal with on a weekly/biweekly basis. A company that makes stuff on the cheap; targeting an economically depressed demographic (which is pretty large) knowing all the while that their products are shoddy and extremely difficult to use...that corporation or conglomerate or whatever the undefinable organization of profit is called...all those people are really lame.

Turned down the high priced ext warranty. I took down my old Vizio & hung up the nice new one. Pleased for a little over two months. Then an 8 inch wide black stripe popped up going from top to bottom on the right side. Contacted Walmart Store & was told to box it up & bring it back. Did so but Walmart said I was misinformed & it was passed their 30 day return so I should call Vizio. I took it back home & called Vizio & the person did the troubleshooting things & determined my TV was bad. I got an email saying they would send me a new one to swap out.
Days later I get a call from a smart mouth guy from Vizio who said I broke the TV. I said how, it's hanging on my wall 5 foot off the ground. He said the pictures I sent them lets them know I damaged the TV & I they couldn't warranty it. I'm out over $800 plus all the miles driven. Walmart & Vizio just lost me as a customer. We used to love Vizio products until we purchased a TV in October. It was used in October for a week and not touched again until the first week of December. When we turned it on the entire corner of the TV screen looked like it was cracked. (Wasn't cracked on the exterior and TV was never moved or touched after we set it up). It was too late to return to the dealer we purchased it from and they advised us to go thru Vizio as the TV had a one year warranty. What a scam. They "diagnosed" the TV thru a picture we sent on our phone. They said it was caused by the TV being moved. I can promise you we never touched it and advised the warranty dept. They then advised that it may have occurred during the shipping of the TV but it didn't show up until now.
It's not about the amount of the TV - we purchased a new one in the meantime, which sadly we purchased another Vizio. If you produce a product that was obviously defective you should stand behind your product. We will NEVER purchase another product of Vizio. We purchased a Vizio PX65-G1 in March 2020. We started noticing issues about 6 months later with the overall display (rolling static lines running along the picture consistently). We called Vizio support, sent pictures of the display issues and they resolved the issue with no problem. They sent a couple people out who uninstalled the broken TV from the wall and replaced it with another Vizio PX65-G1. This replacement took place in April 2021.
As of May 2021 the “new” TV started having even more significant display issues. This time the TV display will only show thick white lines running vertically across the TV, you cannot even see a picture or different screen. We called Vizio and emailed multiples about this, tried all of their trouble shooting, sent them videos, and none of that worked. They have refused to do anything to remedy the situation saying that we are out of the 1yr warranty. The problem is the 1yr warranty was for the first TV which broke. The second TV they brought as a replacement broke in less than 1 month and should also be under a 1yr manufacturer's warranty. They are continuing to say they will not replace the TV which is the resolution that we want. I purchased a Vizio TV in 2/2021. The tv worked until a software update was done in early June. Since the update, I have had ongoing problems with the audio and video not syncing properly. I contacted Vizio in early June and went through the troubleshooting procedures with them. After a few more calls, I was told a software update would be released that would fix the problem (this was in late June, early July). I have called several more times (7/21/2021, 8/5/2021, 8/20/2021, 8/30/2021) and each time was assured that Vizio was aware of the problem and they were working on it.
When I spoke to Louise on 8/20/2021, I was told the software update was due to be released in about three days. On 8/30/2021 I left her a voicemail message stating that no software update had been issued and my tv still does not work. In July I requested a refund and was told Vizio does not issue refunds and in the rare times they do it would take weeks (although Vizio asked for a copy of my receipt, which I provided).
I filed a complaint with the BBB on 8/31/2021 and someone called me on 9/6/2021 to follow up. I was told an update was scheduled to be released within a few days. The update was done on 9/15/2021 and so far the TV seems to be working. In the meantime, on 9/16/2021 Vizio responded on the BBB website that they tried to reach me, but could not and since I could not be reached, they closed the case.
I did have two phone calls from the same phone number that I was not able to answer (one on 9/15 and one on 9/16). The phone number did not include the name of a person or company and the caller did not leave a voicemail message. It could have been Vizio, but I have no way of knowing. Bottom line, 3.5 months is a long time to wait for a company to fix a software problem, and despite them telling me how good their customer service is, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I would not recommend anyone buy a Vizio TV and I do not plan to buy another one in the future.

I bought this tv less than a year ago. I barely watch it cause I work all the time. Noticed problems with apps not long after I watched it a few times. I've called numerous times throughout the months. Been given the blow off. I have 3 different supervisors numbers. No one returns my calls when I left voicemail to them. Finally on the 3rd supervisor she told me someone would contact me to repair tv within a week. Almost 2 weeks later I call supervisors all voicemail. Which doubtfully will receive return call. So called tech support to be told the parts or being ordered when no one has even came to see the problem with my tv. I would never recommend getting a Vizio tv again. Even when you have problems with tv from the beginning. They just feed you a line of crap. And never get back with you. I just looked up purchase history on Walmart app and it says it's a refurbished TV yet I bought it as new. Jerry **

I have had my Vizio TV for only two years and the screen on the top left started to get dark, I contacted tech support and they informed me that the TV only has a one year warranty. Bone disposable televisions. I emphasize the guarantee offered by PIXEL TO PIXEL, which is misleading advertising, for how much my television has image defects. I bought it very excited and so far without problems, but the quality leaves much to be desired. I do not recommend it even if it is at a good price or if you are looking for tv only for one or two years it is fine. Very bad.

Purchased a 65” Vizio from Best Buy. I specifically avoided purchasing from Walmart because I know the quality—or lack of—they sell. The audio is terrible. I quit turning it up at about 50 and decided to buy a sound bar. The date/time lags. The picture goes blank enough times to call it more often than not. I have to reboot the tv just as often. Bottom line: A terrible television even for the price. Do not waste your money. Add a couple of hundred and purchase a quality brand—Samsung, LG, Toshiba, etc. Vizio is junk.

Our Samsung TV stopped turning on (less than 1 year of use) so we decided to get a different brand tv. I went with a Vizio Smart tv. After getting home and setting everything up I realized that we are unable to add apps. So I can't get Sling or most of the other apps we are used to using. Sure they have the really popular ones like Disney Plus and Amazon, but what about Sling? Those of us using smart TVs typically don't have cable so we need to have more options for tv apps. I'm returning this and getting a different brand that actually has options where I don't have to connect my phone and use smart casting in order to watch tv. If I wanted to do that I would just use my phone, not spend $800 on a TV that has no options.

I purchased a Vizio TV (M-Series Quantum 65"4K HDR SmartTV: M65Q7-H1) in December, 2020 from Best Buy, together with a 2-year protection plan from the Geek Squad. Since then I’ve had number of problems including WiFI error messages (“not connected to the internet”), freezing of the TV screen when trying to load an app, sound/video out of sync. Broad horizontal banding (green, red) appears intermittently on the screen that “floats” up the screen.
The Geek Squad have been out numerous times over the last six months, but failed to repair the TV despite replacing many parts and performing many software updates. They contacted Vizio who say they will replace it with a refurbished TV. My problem is that I didn’t ask for a replacement and I certainly don’t want a refurb. I’d like my money returned since I bought a manifestly lemon TV. Vizio say they are following their warranty procedures. Credit to the Geek Squad for working tirelessly. Given my experience, I recommend that anyone buying a TV should look at other brands. The sound is adequate, though it would be nice if it could be a better. Some movies and shows require the volume raised to the limit and there is a bit of vibration and distortion when it is that high. This is not a huge problem as nearly all other televisions I've had have required a soundbar to hear dialogue. This television is usually loud enough on its own. The only real issue I had with this television is when I lost the remote and accidentally reset the television to factory default the television was completely useless! I could not setup the television without the remote so it was stuck at the setup screen until I could go out and buy another remote...Every television should have enough controls on the television itself to at least operate it through setup.

I purchased a 65 inch Vizio P Series TV (model P65Q9-H1) last December for the specific reason that I had also just purchased a PlayStation 5. Upon purchasing the PS5, I wanted to buy a TV that is going to support the next generation graphics. So I specifically set out looking for a 4K TV with an HDMI 2.1 port that is 120hz. I decided to buy this TV as it has 4 HDMI ports in total. HDMI 1 and 2 are standard 2.0 ports that only support 60hz. HDMI 3 and 4 are the next generation 2.1 ports that are 120hz primarily used for the next-gen gaming consoles.
This TV is falsely advertised on both Vizio’s and Best Buy’s websites. To be clear, my complaint is against Vizio, not Best Buy. I did purchase the TV at Best Buy, however, the information, specs, verbiage, etc., that goes on Best Buy’s website is all supplied by Vizio for their products that Best Buy sells. Here is the TV that I purchased: **. This TV is clearly advertised as a 120hz TV on both websites. The 120hz does not work with my PS5, and in the rare occasion that it does, it is only a matter of time before issues occur with a white scrambled image as shown in the attached photo.
There are numerous complaints and negative reviews towards Vizio regarding this issue on Vizio’s, Best Buy’s, and numerous other websites. They are fully aware of the situation and have even posted topics regarding the issue on the FAQ page of their website. Their solution is for customers to use HDMI 1 or 2 which are only 60hz ports. I didn’t purchase a 60hz TV. I purchased a 120hz TV. If I wanted to play my PS5 in 60hz, then I would have either kept my previous TV or bought one for half the price that I spent on this one.
Vizio has been aware of this issue for as long as I have owned this TV, if not longer, due to the floodgates of complaints that they have received even prior to my purchase. The question I have is why are they still advertising this as a 120hz TV if it clearly does not work in 120hz? Is it just maybe because they want to continue to mislead the public in thinking that they are buying a 120hz TV so they can make more sales?
I have called and spoke to numerous supervisors in their corporate office over the past 7 months. I keep being told that they will be pushing out a firmware issue to resolve the problem. I have been dealing with this for 7 months and my patience is wearing thin. They can’t push out a firmware update to fix this issue but they can push out new TVs for 2021? Makes a whole lot of sense, doesn’t it?
In my communication with their corporate office, I had requested to be upgraded to the 2021 equivalent of last year’s version of my same model TV. The P Series Quantum X (model P65QX-H1) at no additional expense to me. They refused to do it. I’ve read some reviews on it and noticed that some people have reported not having any issues with the 120hz not working for them. I don’t think I am being unreasonable for requesting this considering all of the hours I have spent on the phone with their support team troubleshooting the issue.
Instead, they offered to refund my money. I don’t want a refund, I want a resolution to the issue. I purchased this TV during the holidays when it was on sale. For me to accept a refund would mean that I would have to spend several hundred dollars more to buy a TV now when they are not on sale in order to get a TV that supports these specs. My recommendation is to avoid Vizio at all costs. Their customer service is the worst. Instead of working with the customer, they will false advertise and mislead you into buying their products. Since they refuse to work with me on this issue, I am not only posting this review here, but on every other review site as well.

The TV was purchased at the beginning of the pandemic because our last one (Sony) had an accident with my Autistic son. At the time there weren't a lot of tvs at BestBuy. So we settled on this vizio.. A few months later we purchased a smaller 24 inch for a smaller room, one where the TV gets used maybe once a month or every other month. Our 65 inch was wall mounted originally and the stands were lost at some point.. probably thrown away.. Well recently I decided to redo my entertainment center so I took down my original center and am remaking a new one where stands are required. I contacted vizio about PURCHASING new ones since it was my fault I no longer had them.
A nice lady said since the TV was under warranty, she would send me new ones.. was happy. I checked back after almost two weeks and was informed by lady number two, that vizio does NOT do that and DOES NOT sell stands.. seems weird to make a TV that includes stands but if you need new ones for some reason, they don't sell them. She gave me three websites of people that would sell them and I contacted all three and NO ONE had them in stock..
So I ordered from Amazon and they work.. so now remote... This is a big issue... both of our remotes for our vizios.. well..how can I say this? Junk.. the OK button that selects the app or program you are on is soooo unresponsive that sometimes you feel like you are pressing it hard enough to bend it.. I've talked to vizio and went over all the steps they have listed on their website. New batteries. Clean line of sight to tv.. pushing ALL OF THE OTHER buttons and all of the other buttons are ok.. Now the problem is not me.. it's the remote.
How do I know this? Like I mentioned we have two vizio tvs. The 65 gets used daily a lot.. I could understand if we wore the button out.. but the 24 inch? Since we purchased it, I can honestly and truthfully say it has been used less than 10 to 15 times since we purchased it.. It is in a room that is hardly ventured into.. Once every other month maybe? And its controller has same issue.. now see my issue? Junky.. We have downloaded the app and it works..
Now last issue.. I have to hardstart (turn off unplug wait etc etc) approximately every two months or so because some of the apps like YouTube or Vudu or Disney+ will not work. They just go to a black screen and nothing. I've talked to vizio tech at various points even one helping me out to make sure it was updated and this and that.. same issue again today and that is why I'm writing all this.. Maybe most people love their vizio. Not us... We are going back to SONY or try LG or anyone else.. TV is just at a bit over year old and it feels like we have had it for a decade...Oh well...

Do not buy Vizio products. Horrible product and horrible customer service. I purchased a Vizio V series 505-h9 from Walmart about 5-6 months ago. Very difficult to find any product information, whatsoever. Making it difficult to calibrate the tv professionally without the professional cost. I only found 1 person via YouTube who talked about the tv. Reddit and Google were not much help. I tried talking to customer service and they didn't know anything. As a result I kept basic settings until I learned more here and there. Fast forward to last month, where I discovered (and recommend) doing a white screen test via youtube on your tv to see if you have lighting issues behind the main screen.
When I did the white screen test I discovered what looked like a crack, and hair behind the main screen. I immediately requested a replacement tv. I had to wait on a response the next day. A female rep told me despite my 1 year warranty they didn't cover cracks. I asked repeatedly what did my warranty cover, she refused multiple times to answer my question. I then talked to the guy from youtube who I knew shared the same model of tv. He told me to try again. I did. I had to do the process of taking pictures and sharing them multiple times, eventually I was told I would get an advanced replacement.
Fast forward to today when the tv arrived. The box came banged up. I was nervous. I unboxed it, put in the stands, and placed the replacement tv inside of my entertainment system. Then I set the tv up, enter my settings, and did the white screen test via youtube (hoping for the best). Immediately I saw hairs behind the screen, on the screen, and found the top bezel super loose. It was so loose that I could pull the screen out and blow hairs from behind the main screen, on top of using tweezers to pull curly hairs out of the tv. It was so gross I decided I would never purchase another Vizio tv again. The fact that the replacement tv had over 15+ loose hairs on top of the super loose bezel which had black stuff fall from the loose bezel, which made me think they wear no protective head wear while assembling the tvs. It was long hair, short hair, and curly hair in the tv. Disgusting. I took to Amazon, reddit, youtube, and here to warn others.

Bought a brand new Vizio 55” smart tv on January 3rd 2020. It’s beyond ridiculous how terrible this tv is. Picture quality and sound quality are solid and that’s the ONLY good thing you can say about this thing. Remote constantly glitches out and doesn’t respond. If the screen goes dark for just a second, for any reason, like changing between apps or even for a commercial to start, there’s an annoying buzzing sound. Tv will randomly go dark. You can still pull up the menus and input choices but no matter what you can’t get anything else to pop up (Hulu, netflix, etc.) and you have to unplug it and plug it back in.
HDMI inputs often don’t work at all or will suddenly say there’s no connection and it will turn off, even if you’re currently watching something on said input. Power chord input and HDMI inputs are on opposite sides of the tv, making it harder to plug things in that don’t have 6 foot chords, which was just a stupid design choice. Over all, I would rather have a non flat screen tv from 20 years ago than ever buy another piece of ** from Vizio.

On April 29, 2018, we bought a 65” #Vizio flat screen television from #Wal-Mart. It was a pretty big purchase so we bought the service plan so that if anything went wrong after the warranty expired, it would be paid for. Sure enough, something did go wrong. I don’t know anything about televisions, but apparently one of the LED strips has failed. The left half of the television is so dark it is impossible to see anything. We called the number for the service plan on the receipt, which is where the problems started. The phone message told us to file the claim online. We did that and then waited. We were eventually contacted by someone here in San Antonio. We set up a time for him to come to the house and look at the TV. He diagnosed the problem with the LED strip, which is great. He said that someone would be in touch with us soon to either pick up the TV and repair it or we would be able to trade in the TV at Wal-Mart for a new TV.
The next thing that happened was that we received an email saying that the claim had been resolved and that the TV had been repaired or replaced, neither of which had actually occurred. We have called the phone number for the service plan many, many times. We get the run around every single time and nothing is being done to fix the TV. It is extremely frustrating. The final upshot of this post is that you should never, ever buy the service plan when you make a major purchase from #Wal-Mart.

If you buy a 200$ TV for a little girl and the TV stops working for 2 different reasons within months of purchase, DO NOT expect it will be replaced as you’d expect with such a trash piece of equipment. Instead, you will need to have a repairman come to your house in a 2-3 hour window when you should be at work and try to fix your trash piece of equipment you just bought within the last half-year.
My piece of trash equipment I bought was a VIZIO TV and it had stopped working for two separate reasons over the last 5-6 months post-purchase. So even if there was an opportunity to repair I would rather it be replaced by equipment that hadn’t already proven itself to be trash. This was not an expensive purchase where replacement would be thousands of dollars. It was a 200$ purchase that already had broken itself twice in the 6 months we had it.
So to finalize my review: The 32” tv was total trash and didn’t last 6 months. The customer service was total trash in that you’ll need to not go to work, stay at home and wait during the 3-hour window for a repairman to come to your home during a pandemic, then hope he can either fix your twice broken trash TV in its 6-month existence and it doesn’t break down again or that he cannot fix it and they can finally replace your piece of trash 200$ new tv. 1/5 for both equipment and service.

I did not pay a premium price and I did not get a premium product. About a month ago Vizio did a software upgrade and my TV has been a disaster ever since. When I turn the TV on I get an error message. It tells me it cannot find the software and tells me to use the icons below. There are no icons below. It tells you to stream to the TV using Chromecast. If you wait long enough the screen with all the apps eventually boots up. It can take two minutes or longer. This is not an internet issue. When I access my TV screening service on my laptop, the access is virtually instantaneous.
I called customer service. If you want to talk to a moron, call Vizio customer service. Absolutely clueless. I asked to speak with a manager. The guy just waited on the phone until I asked if he was going to get a manager and he told me none was available. I was dealing with an imbecile but all Vizio customer service reps are imbeciles.
Yesterday, Vizio did another software upgrade. The result was even worse. Initially all I could get was a black screen. Several attempts resulted in the error message described above. Once I got the apps on the screen I could not load YouTube TV though it loaded almost instantaneously on my laptop. A call to Vizio put me in touch with another imbecile. He had no clue. Verified new software had been loaded. Did a factory reset. Now am I back to where I was when the first bad software was loaded. Sometimes I just get a black screen. Turn TV off and turn on. Get an error message. After a minute or two the icons appear.
Everything takes forever to load. Again... I have plenty of internet speed and YouTube TV works quickly and seamlessly on my laptop. One I get a picture it is quite good. We purchased a defective 75-inch Vizio TV and an additional 3-year warranty in 8/2018. On 6/2020, we called Vizio due to problems with the TV: dark horizontal lines across the screen, intermittent sound loss, intermittent shutdown, and it takes 5-6 attempts to turn on. We emailed images documenting the issues. During the 4 weeks of emails and phone calls, Vizio representatives were rude and gave us incorrect information. They repetitively called my husband “ma‘am” and referred to him as female, even after he repeatedly stated “my name is Joseph, I am male.” The representatives also offered us the option to choose between 2 replacement models: P75-F1 or P759-G1 and they emailed links to specifications for each.
Based on the information they sent and reviews, we chose the P759-G1. They sent a confirmation with a service request link and saying the shipment might be delayed due to Covid but the links did not work. We called to check the status. We were told the TV had been shipped and “there was nothing to worry about”. When we asked for a tracking number another supervisor told us the email was a “mistake”. The TV had not been shipped. The P759-G1 was not in the warehouse and they were trying to “find one”. We later received an email saying the TV had been shipped. The service number and tracking number links again did not work. We called and spoke to customer relations.
He acknowledged that he sent the email with the specifications for the two models. But he also stated there had been “multiple mistakes made across the four weeks”. We should not have been offered the two options. Our only option is the older defective model and the case is closed. He also refused to provide information for his supervisor. Said we could email him our complaint(s). Our original TV has a warranty through 2023. Vizio is sending a model with the same known issues and it will only have a one-month warranty. Because they are sending a “new” TV, the additional 3-year warranty is voided.

My family has a large Vizio TV in our family room, and it has had issues from the minute it has been installed. It has had lots of random turning off of audio, visual, or both. Every once in a while, it will randomly shut off the TV and then turn back on right after, but sometimes it either won't turn off at all or won't turn on at all. I'm not sure if this is related, but we've also had issues with having to frequently replace our cable box (we've had 2 new ones in less than 6 months) because the "hard drive keeps getting burnt out." I'm beginning to wonder if it's the Vizio TV that's causing this issue as well. I'm surprised my dad hasn't completely replaced the TV yet, because he's a perfectionist who hates shoddy workmanship. I hope he does at this point, so it can save my family the headache and frustration.
I also have a smaller Vizio for college. I have had a few issues with it randomly turning on/not staying turned off, and issues with it not connecting to apps like Netflix or Hulu despite having the TV connected to a very fast WIRED Internet connection. I'm nervous to continue using it because I'm afraid of it completely dying on me and it becoming a waste of money. At this point, I'm thinking of trying to sell my Vizio TV and using the money to buy a similar TV of a different (more reliable) brand. When we first got these TVs, we were all fairly impressed with the quality of picture and sleek design of the TV. I wish I could say the same today. The tech they sent was a man doing this job on the side (told me this wasn’t his real job) and his “helper” was his wife... unlikely that she was a tv tech too... deemed the unit “unrepairable” (E-60 series tv) and since then Vizio has gone MIA. No emails or calls returned, ever. If I don’t call them they don’t bother, and I am 4 weeks dealing with this runaround. Not only is this time in particular bad, but I’m already on my second Vizio tv from the same purchase (first one didn’t last 3 months, this next replacement unit barely lasted a year).
Don’t buy vizio... awful products and even more awful customer service. I purchased from a Costco in the GTA, first purchase was a D-60 series and my replacement when that one broke was this E-60 series. I just want my money back... I don’t want their terrible products or lacking customer support ever again. Spend some extra money and get a better brand that will come with better customer service.

Now approximately 1 year and 4 months of being an owner of Vizio speaker(s) the replacement is crackling at less than half volume. Cannot even enjoy watching movies. The volume is having to increasingly be lowered over the past couple just to make it tolerable. The speaker is crackling so bad that there is no enjoying TV anymore. Do not even buy their speakers when they are on sale. Save your money and go to a better more reliable brand.

DO NOT waste your $ or time on Vizio. I bought a 50" visio v series from Walmart. 14 days later the remote, buttons on tv and the app remote no longer worked the tv. Couldnt do anything.. Turn on/off channels volume. Etc. Called vizio. Got a repair 2 weeks later. The repair guys messed tv up worse. It still didnt work and now it would connect to wifi. So called vizio again. They sent a replacement.
Now after a month I've barely had a tv working waiting on 2nd one to arrive. The New tv worked great until day # 13.. After the 13th day of using vizio same problem.. Remote stopped working, buttons on back no longer work and of course the app dont work tv either. 2 tvs same problem ONLY AFTER 14 DAYS OF HAVING. They refuse to refund my $ and they are looking to see if they have a different tv to send me. I'm so terribly unhappy I wish I spent the extra 100$ and got Samsung, ANYTHING BUT VIZIO...
I feel it's a software problem. The app remote kinda proves that. The vizio main guy said they havent had enough complaints to make changes to software... AND people on internet lie. He said to me "People on internet claim big foot is real dont mean it is". My reply was, "Well if bigfoot was in front of me then it's real. Because my tv isnt working at all and there is a bunch of complaints about same problem so you're telling me that, they and I are lying because I'm having same issue."
Bunch of stuck up people who will dance around the issue. I want a refund. They refused and supposed to send me my 3rd tv.. So after 2 months I've used a good tv. 1 month of that and now I'll have to wait another 3 weeks on a different tv. This whole time I cant use the NEW ONE I BOUGHT.. Please do not get involved with vizio.. Spend a little more $ and go a different route.

Purchased a Vizio 55 inch TV that boasted a superior picture and solid brand name. My experience reflects the complete opposite. From the start we experienced problems: Tv would turn itself on..., we would come home or hear noise in the middle of the night to discover the tv turned on by itself. Would see a black haze or shadow across the screen that would randomly appear and disappear. Vizio support would always direct us to power off reset. Sometimes it help, most times it didn’t. We ended up using a power switch to control power to tv and prevent the mysterious auto power on problem. No solution for the random shadow incident.
Received a recent update and suddenly the vizio sound bar would mysteriously turn off in the middle of a program. Again no pattern, but definitely started after the vizio update. Now about 30 - 60 days after the update the screen has gone 100% black screen. Contacted vizio who advised the Power on reset as the only action. We do this and see the vizio logo on start up but then screen goes black. Can hear the audio but no picture. Vizio says the panel has failed and it is “not economical to fix and set is out of warranty so I should buy a new tv”. While I do not expect a tv to last forever I do expect it to last longer than 16.5 months!! My advice is not to buy a vizio product regardless of any recommendations as you will likely regret it.

In Jan 2017 I purchased a Vizio 65” tv. I did so because at the time it was highly rated because of its above average picture quality and below average cost. In Jan 2019 the screen went black. I called Vizio customer service and was told that because I was out of warranty they could not replace the tv free of charge but would sell me a new one at a discount.
After about 8-9 months I experienced problems with the new tv. The picture would freeze and then after about 30 seconds it would power off and restart. I called Vizio to report the problem. Even though the tv was still under warranty they did not offer to replace or repair the tv but had me “power cycle” the tv in hopes of fixing the problem.
Over the next few months not only did the problem persist but the occurrences also increased in frequency. Once again I called the Vizio customer service to report that I had repeatedly tried the solutions they provided and not only were they not working, other problems such as picture with no sound are occurring. This time they said the tv needed to be repaired or replaced but unfortunately my warranty has now expired. Despite the fact that they have it on record that I initially reported the problem while the tv was still under warranty they refused to replace the tv. I am now looking for my 3rd tv in 3 years. I am referring to) to replace a smaller one I had been using. The price was better than any other offer in the store and it had a great looking picture on display, better than any of the other models in it's price range. I also purchased the 3 year "Protection Plan" offered for 10% of the purchase price. 5 months later the set "lost its mind" (probably the main board) and stopped working. Contacted VIZIO for help and support during the first week of a "Stay home" order of the COVID19 crisis. They concluded a repair was needed but were unable to tell me when I could get a working set.
It dawned on me, "like the sun setting on a beautiful day turning into the scary darkness and isolation it will become", that I will be without a TV for the duration of the "Stay home" order which currently is a minimum of 30 days but undetermined at this time. I am predicting that I will have a 1 or 2 month gap I can call useful for a product I feel I need and now cannot afford to replace. I am sorry for the drama I've incorporated into this review but I felt that I needed to paint a picture for the consumers who are considering a purchase from VIZIO. Vizio then offered me a swap with a tv that was priced at $130 less than what I originally paid for and less HDMI ports but neglected to inform me of this. I had to research the make and model! The bottom line here...is I guess Vizio and Disney are busy arguing over how much of a cut in the Disney Profits is Vizio going to get...and until that happens...there is no APP for Disney available on your Vizio Smart TV.
I'm not sure when or how that happened - where TVs start getting a cut of the broadcast - use to you just used your TV to watch whatever you wanted. But now, it apparently depends upon WHICH brand of TV you have as to what you can actually watch! AND - in typical Vizio fashion, they continue to set the bar on poor customer service. It was a higher end TV, but without the stigma that comes with brand names. A short time later, I was in need of television to act as both a computer monitor, and a television in my apartment bedroom. Once again, Vizio pulled through with a dual-purpose television at a decent price. Within a year, I was travelling, and looked for another TV/monitor that was compact and easy to travel with. Vizio locked in my unwavering love on this third gem. All three of these are still working great!
In the recent past, my fiance was looking for a smart tv. Of course, I convinced her to go Vizio, since I'd had such great luck. Unfortunately, within a year, the TV would randomly shut off. It wasn't due to the remote, or a particular app. I had researched that many were having issues with temperature components, but I didn't look into it any further. We eventually replaced it with our current Vizio smart TV, thinking the last was a fluke. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be. The television we have now will give constant network errors on VUDU. I was very nervous when I requested a warranty replacement for my new TV based on complaints online. The TV I had was less than a year old and had developed red spots on the screen for some reason. I called them and told them the problem and the gentleman I spoke with simply sent me an email with a link to upload pictures of the problem. A few days later I called back and was informed that the request had been approved and I would be getting a replacement. The claim portal had stated that I would be getting a refurbished version of the same TV I had, which was fine since it was a year old almost already. To my surprise when it arrived it was a brand new TV! I was very happy with their customer service and it was painless to get a replacement. Whatever you may think about their TV's (I think they are great) their warranty department was great!

I bought my 65 inch Vizio led 4k less than 18 months ago from Wal-Mart. Unfortunately I didn't buy the 3 year extended warranty for a few hundred dollars thinking my tv should last about 4 years or more. I don't watch a lot of tv but still got the black death screen where all the picture goes out and volume still works. I should have known better as I had a 32 inch vizio do the same to me. I called customer service and was told they would give me $200 off on a new tv because the warranty ran out and it is unrepairable. This is absolutely the last vizio tv I ever buy.

The Vizio tv is a good tv if you have cut the cord with the cable company but be aware of two issues I have encountered in the month I have owned this tv. 1. You can not change the aspect ratio on anything you watch that is not coming through a coax or HDMI cable. This means that if you stream through Hulu or google play you run the risk of having the screen cut off in some of the content. Not that noticeable unless words happen to be on the screen say during news or opening credits. 2. firmware updates can affect performance. A recent update to enable Apple HomeKit disabled the built-in Chromecast feature which I purchased the tv for. As long as this is t the main tv in your home, I would recommend it as decent extra tv.

My dad bought me the cheap Vizio TV from Walmart. Worse TV ever. I’ve had nothing but issues with it from Day 1. It freezes all the time, so I have to restart/reboot it. Meaning unplug it & turn it back on. It’s very limited on what you can watch, app wise, and will not let me Comcast from my iPhone because it “doesn’t support that app”. If you need a tv for a kids room to connect a DVD player or game console, maybe. Otherwise DO NOT buy.

A 500.00 new tv. Fresh out of box need repairing. I requested a refund but their policy is for technician to try and fix it. I don't care to have a new 500.00 tv fixed. I want another tv. Vizio TVs and their service suck. Do not recommend anyone to buy one.

We have purchased Vizio TV from Best buy on September 2018. It has just been a year and it stopped working. Unfortunately we did not buy the protection plan by thinking that TV should at least last for 4 to 5 years. We called the troubleshooters. They have tried their best. However final answer was to take it to Technician and have it repaired. First of all we have spent 5 hours on the phone with the help desk people. Then we went to Best buy and unfortunately, we could not get any help there. I had to buy a new TV right away and that was very expensive. I suggest not to buy Vizio product since they do not last too long. You will be wasting your money in a longer run. Thank you.

I purchased a Vizio for a small business that the TV is somewhat essential to. I paid to have it professionally installed and mounted. It was delivered about 10 days later and installed. After 2 days of use, the picture went black but sound continued to work. An hour or two later the sound stopped working. After about a week a Vizio technician came out. He said that the panel and screen were faulty and that they were going to replace the entire TV. The process would take 10 business days.
I asked if I could just get a refund and go buy another TV at Best Buy, since the TV was somewhat essential to my business and I didn't want it laying on the floor for 10 business days until they picked it up. They said they do not do refunds. I asked if they would pay to have it reinstalled and mounted and they also said that they would not.
I then asked about the warranty on the new TV, and they said that the manufacturer's warranty is 1 year from PURCHASE. So by the time my "new" TV arrives, my warranty on that one will be 10.5 months, not a full year. I do not get a full year warranty on this TV because I purchased the original one about 6 wks previous to when the new one will arrive. This didn't seem important when I purchased it, but seeing as how the TV broke in two days the shortened warranty may matter more with these people.
Long story short, because their TV sucks and broke after 2 days, I am going to have to pay additional to have it reinstalled and remounted, wait another 2 weeks to have it for my business, and they refuse to give me a refund to help me expedite the situation. ANd the replacement TV will have a shortened warranty. Vizio is directly negatively impacting my business, refusing to give me a refund, and dragging the whole situation out. Customer service was very combative and didn't seem to grasp how their policies negatively impacted a customer.
Not only would I not recommend a Vizio product, I would actively recommend that everyone avoid them. The product broke after 2 days and I had very little recourse with them to help me fix it quickly, and I have to pay extra to have it reinstalled. Horrible product, horrible company. Avoid them. I am going to go to Best Buy and buy another TV so I don't have to wait 2 wks without the business having one, and I am going to give the Vizio to my kids.

Horrible company to work with! Unfortunately I have been another customer with the Vizio 4K smart TV with the screen of black death. They have dubbed this name on the Internet because so many of these TV's screens have died within three years of purchase. Contacted Vizio several times and they walked me through Numerous steps to reset TV and try to bring the picture back without success. Finally told me there was nothing more they could do. There are so many complaints about this particular issue on this particular Vizio TV online, yet the company will not admit a factory defect on them.
If you did not buy the warranty that covers it for three years you’re screwed. Any TV, warranty or not, should last more than three years. This obviously is a manufacture defect within the TV and the makers of Vizio 4K smart TVs from 2016 should make it right. THEY WON’T! DO NOT PURCHASE a Vizio 4K smart TV! If you do, you should purchase the three-year warranty and be prepared to buy a new TV in three years after the warranty is up!

This Vizio 55 class UHD full array smart tv was purchased from Target Store in Duluth, MN. 18 Nov. 2016 and holding the purchase receipt in my hand as I write this review. Maybe 2-3 it started a snapping sound. Called Vizio support and they said to get a new cable box. Did that 2-3 times, and it never helped as it still made a snapping sound. About a year ago the screen had a pulsing near the left side and middle of the screen. I mean, less than 3 years old, spending over $500 and today the tv no longer works. I will never buy a Vizio. I work hard for my money, and I feel my $500 was a waste of money. My advice, stay away from Vizio products.

Purchased from Wal-Mart May 18, 2018. On May 10, 2019. TV Vizio 65 inch E Series. Green lines running horizontal. Contact Vizio, with receipt on 8 days left in yr warranty. They send a refurbished same model TV. Takes six weeks to arrive. Guess what? Within a few months green lines again. They gave a 90 day warranty with the first refurbished. So again contact. Send picture. They send another refurbished tv. This one gets a few weeks and guess what? Green lines again. Still under that tv's 90 day warranty. This time they send a brand new TV same model. It last just 10 days. For God sake the frame plastic protection is still on it.
I send yet another picture. They write back they need another photo. It takes me a few days to get this to them. I'm working a lot. By the time I get ready to send a new picture the TV starts to smoke and smells like it is burning on the back side. I take a picture of the TV with even more lines running down ir. It also has developed a black spot at the bottom. Mind you this is a followup picture three days later than the first picture I sent to them. It's still under the warranty. They are saying it's a pressure point damage area. So my warranty won't cover it. Forget the fact they have a pic from 3 days earlier with just lines. Guess what? It did catch on fire internally.
Now it turns on and off by itself with no picture only sound for a brief minute then it clicks off again. Pressure damage I call **! I have a 10 yr old Sony Bravia. Still working. Beautiful picture. 2 Toshiba's still kicking, a Magnavox and a LG. All still working. Vizio is disposable junk. With horrible after sale service. Even when you have the receipt and documentation required. The delivery guy said he does nothing but Vizio replacement drops, "cause they are disposable junk." It keeps him in a job. I believe it.

I’ve had a 70” Vizio D series for almost 3 years and the lower left side of the screen developed a dark shadow. Customer service said it couldn’t be fixed and a new TV was in order! My other Vizio tv 4K is starting to show shadowing in various areas but not that obvious. It’s under a year old still! I guess I’m done with Vizio and will have to go with Sony or Samsung. Vizio will not help me since none of their newly manufactured TVs have quality parts anyway.

My wife purchased our first (and last) Vizio TV 2 weeks ago, and I still can't get it to work. This is not the first TV we've purchased, and I've never had the issues below until now. When I opened the TV, I was disappointed to find it requires an AC adapter that is not included, and the power cord won't work without it. I purchased one at a local retailer earlier today, and I was even more disappointed to find that none of the 6 plugs that came with the adapter are compatible with the port on the back of the TV. I have an open ticket with the company to find out the adapter and voltage specs so I can make an additional purchase to actually use the TV. Regardless of the response, I would not recommend this brand. If you need a TV or any other electronic device, make sure it's not a Vizio product.

Only lasts a couple years before the screen or power supply dies. If you’re outside your 1 year factory warranty, you’ll need to hire a repair man or likely just buy a new TV. I’ll never buy Vizio again.

I had an issue with the tv automatically powering on, about 2 minutes after turning the tv off. I read online that in order to fix this to reset the tv to factory settings in the tv menu. Which I did. Now I cannot get the input button to work on the tv or the remote for the tv. I purchased the tv about 9 months ago, and their support says I have to furnish them proof of purchase (I don't have my receipt) in order to get the warranty repair or replacement. Terrible purchase. 400.00 paper weight living in my den.

I bought the Vizio less than 3 years ago. Initially, I was very happy with the picture quality and perks that come with a Smart TV. At about 2 years, the screen started to flicker occasionally. Now the screen rolls and flickers so terribly that it is impossible to watch anything. Also, the TV ports have failed so Cable TV no longer works. The Vizio had typical use with Cable TV, Netflix, DVDs, and some games. I'm not very sophisticated with electronics, but had read review prior to purchase, and made the purchase based upon stellar reviews. The Vizio is marketed as a TV, but I later learned it is not a TV at all but rather a monitor. I could live with that, but flickering beginning at about 2 years and full rolling and port failures is not acceptable.

Bought this 65 inch Vizio from Sam's Club last summer and nothing but issues ever since. Called in and had to factory reset several times. Losing all information and settings. Smartcast never works... It locks up on startup all the time. Locks up on my Netflix, Hulu, Starz, and Prime apps. I use these apps daily and it has gotten to the point I can never finish a movie without restarting the TV 3-4 times. I will never make this mistake again. Cancelling my apps for now as a result since I cannot use them until I replace this junk/tv. Still under extended warranty but even dealing with that company to replace is a mess and when I do get my replacement I will try to sell this junk or give it to someone to use as a stand alone monitor for gaming or something. Not reliable at all!
