I wish I knew that Vizio tvs are not capable on accessing the internet via browser. If I knew I would not buy one, I did call customer support trying to return it since if was more than 3 months they refuse.

We purchased the Vizio V-Series 65 in. Class 4K HDR Smart TV V655-J09. BEWARE - After a couple months of using it occasionally the screen is GREEN from the middle to the bottom. Every time we turn it on, we see this screen and need to turn it off and back on. This is horrible and Vizio customer service manager was condescending and insulting by asking us how long we have worked in the TV electronics area, and that is saying nicely. We are a veteran family of over 20-years and worked in the electronic area for most of them. Their policy is that they must troubleshoot the issue before taking any action to fix or replace so we are stuck with a DEFECTIVE TV. Waste of money and time!

Only reason why I gave it a 2 star is because of the first 10 months I owned the tv. I bought a 40 inch Vizio TV about a year and a half ago. I was super excited since it was a smart TV and had the option to cast my phone to it. Also thought with it being a smart TV you can go to the App Store and get the apps you wanted, you can’t but being able to cast my phone to the tv solved that solution. The TV worked fine for about 10 months.

The only issue I had was that I had to unplug it like once a month. Didn’t bother me since I travel for work or personal stuff a lot. But about 8 months ago the problems keep getting worse and worse. From freezing for a few seconds to just closing apps. Now, I can’t even open up Netflix. Everything I watch, within 2-6 minutes, it ends up freezing for 3-10 seconds like it’s buffering when I know my internet is good enough so that’s not the issue. When using the remote EVERYTHING lags on it. Turning down the volume makes the TV lag, trying scroll through apps, turning the tv off, literally using their own home page makes it lag, everything is slow and lags. And there has maybe been 1 or 2 system update since I had it so nothing is getting accomplished with this tv.

On top of all that, you can’t add other apps. Or if you can, I can figure it out. For example one of the apps I watch a lot isn’t in the list of 100 apps you have to scroll through hoping the app you want is in it. Which takes and hour because of how slow the tv is. I mentioned casting my phone to the tv, that’s slower and more grainy than watching an app. It’s an absolute joke. I know I will never spend my money on a Vizio TV. Which is sad because the their old TVs were solid. If you only plan on having the TV short term, it’s an option. Otherwise don’t waste your time with a lemon.

Upgraded our 60 inch Vizio for a HDR 75 inch smart TV. Better picture and more options over our 8 year old Vizio. Well that excitement lasted 3 weeks, starts out slow having to unplug the TV from the wall once or twice a month to either get the picture back, be able to turn off tv, connect to internet, watch movies, gaming, basically use the TV. Well just past the 90 day return policy and now up to minimum 5 times a week having to due a hard reset to get this thing to work, 3 times in the last hour. I don't know what happened to Vizio, had such good luck with last TV. Over $800 wasted. Do yourself a favor, don't walk, run away from any Vizio product you may be considering, Junk, headache, boat anchor,. Friends don't let friends buy Vizio. Not too happy with Sam's Club either as a member of 28+ years for selling this crap and then refusing to help resolve issue. The Great news is I have a 3 year warranty on this excrement.

I just bought the TV. Did not noticed it cannot be unplugged from the TV itself. One has to unplug from the wall. It is located in my book shelf (8 feet tall full of books) I had to remove everything out to plug it on the wall, and put back all the books. After one month, it won't come on, told to unplug to reboot. Turned the TV around to unplug and realized I would have to remove all the books turn the furniture to the side, and so on. It is not a keeper. My Samsung needs to the unplugged too (I guess all of them need it now). I am 72 years old, even if one has to go down on their knees all the time to reboot, unplug and plug in, it is a joke. I am done with TV's, there is nothing to watch anyhow. Buy books!

I am constantly having to unplug the tv and plug it back in because it freezes. The remote doesn’t work most of the time. In particular, after watching satellite tv, I can’t get it to do anything and have to unplug it to turn it off. I can’t even turn it off from the switch on the tv itself. Vizio support tells me there is a bug in their remotes? The tv hutch is permanently away from my wall now so I can reach the plug. It’s been a very disappointing experience and I’m out $1000 for purchasing this brand. Will never buy Vizio again.

I hate this tv and remote! I have a Vizio 24 inch and this tv lags so bad! I can't stand the remote to this tv, half the time the buttons don't work. I can't turn it down, pause it, do anything! It's so annoying!!! I don't know if it's the tv or these cheap ** remotes. Don't buy this product. I also have a 50 inch Vizio in my bedroom and it does the same freaking thing!

After reading everyone else's reviews I feel almost lucky but yeah this tv is bogus all the same. Mostly, it's the interface. I press a directional button on the remote to go into an app. There is a solid 3-5 second delay. So long I think maybe the batteries are dead. Press some more. Then 15 seconds later it catches up and now you've moved 18 apps over instead of the 3 you intended. Repeat like 5 more times. It's bananas. My internet is solid. It also just randomly goes black. It looks like it's off. Until you get up close to it. It's emitting a solid black picture. The remote won't work. Nothing will work. You have to unplug it and wait another half hour for a reboot and the remote to work (on a 15 second delay) and finally you'll return to that clunky dinosaur they may call SmartCast. Very oxymoronic.

I'd be more mad but my dad bought this tv for himself without consulting me or the interwebs like a good consumer. The box showed up and I proclaimed "WHAT IS THIS?!?" I said it would be too cumbersome for him to use 'cause it wasn't ROKU and I wasn't gonna be fielding calls spending hours of my life troubleshooting that piece of junk. The compromise I was gifted this junk to primarily game on. (If you're just going to game on it, it might pass muster) and he got an LG that I agreed to setup and field his troubleshooting calls on. I don't have to field ANY calls about it. Wait I had to relog him into youtube or something once.

If he had kept this tv...totes it would have negatively impacted my life and been a stress I had to deal with on a weekly/biweekly basis. A company that makes stuff on the cheap; targeting an economically depressed demographic (which is pretty large) knowing all the while that their products are shoddy and extremely difficult to use...that corporation or conglomerate or whatever the undefinable organization of profit is called...all those people are really lame.

I bought a tv from Walmart Vizio. Omg. This tv works when it gets ready, stops in the middle of the movie. I have excellent service but this thing skips around like it 1999. My last time I buy a Vizio tv. Picture good when it shows but never plays. I look at my phone instead of tv cause it never plays

The setup was pretty easy. Problems from the start. First while watching a TV on Sling it would go to commercial, play 8 commercials in a row then go blank.. Okay..I would have to reboot the TV. Then while trying to switch to Netflix I would get an error message saying restart the TV. At first I thought it was my wi-fi or internet connection. I spent all day Saturday messing with it. Finally after 5 days of this bull I just gave up and bought a Samsung.

I've been a Vizio customer for many years. I have their products in all my rooms in my home & have been pleased until recently. I purchased a 70 inch TV at Walmart on Black Friday. Turned down the high priced ext warranty. I took down my old Vizio & hung up the nice new one. Pleased for a little over two months. Then an 8 inch wide black stripe popped up going from top to bottom on the right side. Contacted Walmart Store & was told to box it up & bring it back. Did so but Walmart said I was misinformed & it was passed their 30 day return so I should call Vizio. I took it back home & called Vizio & the person did the troubleshooting things & determined my TV was bad. I got an email saying they would send me a new one to swap out.

Days later I get a call from a smart mouth guy from Vizio who said I broke the TV. I said how, it's hanging on my wall 5 foot off the ground. He said the pictures I sent them lets them know I damaged the TV & I they couldn't warranty it. I'm out over $800 plus all the miles driven. Walmart & Vizio just lost me as a customer. All the money they have made off me & my friends & family is now over!! I'm the "go to" guy they call when it's looking for electronics & they listen to my recommendations. HERE MY RECOMMENDATION TO EVERYONE, DO NOT BUY FROM VIZIO OR WALMART!! They do not stand behind their sales or products. I wasn't going to leave a review until I read others across the country have had the same or similar problem but yet I broke my TV. Vizio sold us & others a defective TV & they refuse to honor their warranty!!

Do not buy a Vizio TV. I purchased a 70 inch smart screen 8 months ago, I could not access all the apps. I kept getting an error message, I contacted support at least 15 times and kept getting told that they would escalate the problem to a higher level of technicians, no technicians ever contacted me but then 3 months later they brought me out another TV and exchanged it because they said the problem was the other TV had old parts and hardware, the TV that they exchanged it with was even worse, I cannot connect it to my receiver which the TV plays through, it drops contact with my remote control so I cannot control the volume, it drops contact with my Alexa, and again I have made numerous more complaints with their support but no one will contact me and they will not resolve the problem, I have to reboot the TV 15 times a day just to be able to get volume on the TV! This TV is a piece of crap! Don't waste your money.

I bought two Vizio TV's a 65" and 40". Both terrible. They switch off unexpectedly. Got technicians involved since Vizio support said that the problem was my had to do my receiver. Complete lie. Did a forum search and apparently these TVs do not manage a "signal handle" or something like that and have been known to have this problem for years! Sometimes it would go off 3 and 4 times in a two hour viewing session. Unconscionable that they get to market. Stay away from them. Bought a Samsung equivalent model with same receiver. Heaven! If you buy a Vizio Tv you are in for a nightmare.

Nice flat-screen full 1080-P & smart capabilities. No need for antenna or firestick. TV is super light & thin. I was able to mount it myself with no assistance. Was able to take advantage of Best Buy Price Match Guarantee in making the purchase. Good but not excellent picture quality. Price was lowest you can get outside Black Friday/X-Mas season.

We used to love Vizio products until we purchased a TV in October. It was used in October for a week and not touched again until the first week of December. When we turned it on the entire corner of the TV screen looked like it was cracked. (Wasn't cracked on the exterior and TV was never moved or touched after we set it up). It was too late to return to the dealer we purchased it from and they advised us to go thru Vizio as the TV had a one year warranty. What a scam. They "diagnosed" the TV thru a picture we sent on our phone. They said it was caused by the TV being moved. I can promise you we never touched it and advised the warranty dept. They then advised that it may have occurred during the shipping of the TV but it didn't show up until now.

It's not about the amount of the TV - we purchased a new one in the meantime, which sadly we purchased another Vizio. If you produce a product that was obviously defective you should stand behind your product. We will NEVER purchase another product of Vizio. We have several of their TV's in our home and I can promise you when they go out it will be another company that we will use.

I've had several Vizio tv's over the years. These are cheaply made with a short life span. They always develop some kind of hardware issue as soon as their warranty comes to an end. My 50inch vizio tv in the living room developed a single vertical red line almost in the center of the screen. It is due to a hardware issue and would cost more than the TV is worth to fix. My other vizio tv, a 28inch, developed a very bright area of the screen while the rest of the screen was normally lit. In short stay away, they lure you in with a decent price, but then leave you holding a lemon.

We purchased a Vizio PX65-G1 in March 2020. We started noticing issues about 6 months later with the overall display (rolling static lines running along the picture consistently). We called Vizio support, sent pictures of the display issues and they resolved the issue with no problem. They sent a couple people out who uninstalled the broken TV from the wall and replaced it with another Vizio PX65-G1. This replacement took place in April 2021.

As of May 2021 the “new” TV started having even more significant display issues. This time the TV display will only show thick white lines running vertically across the TV, you cannot even see a picture or different screen. We called Vizio and emailed multiples about this, tried all of their trouble shooting, sent them videos, and none of that worked. They have refused to do anything to remedy the situation saying that we are out of the 1yr warranty. The problem is the 1yr warranty was for the first TV which broke. The second TV they brought as a replacement broke in less than 1 month and should also be under a 1yr manufacturer's warranty. They are continuing to say they will not replace the TV which is the resolution that we want. Having two TVs break in under a year from Vizio….with no resolution….is not acceptable when the original purchase price was over $1,000.

We have a 42" Vizio Smartcast tv. I HATE it. Sure, the sound is good & picture quality is great but other than that, it's a piece of garbage. In fact, it just shut off on its own while typing this. It will throw me out of the regular cable channels & load the "home" screen. It is very irritating when you are trying to watch something. Other times it won't shut off at all. I am constantly unplugging it to reset it. I will NEVER buy another Vizio tv.

December 2021 Bought this TV with the understanding it had a channel guide. Talked to customer service and after 45 minutes on the phone, they realized the new ones do not have an onscreen channel guide that lets you know what's on hour by hour ahead of time, only just what's on now. It shows in the manual online it has one but it does not. I did not get a manual with the new tv when it was sent.

The TV showing the movie then the commercial starts Hawking in the movie. There's a glitch in the TV. In this the second CD that I bought from Sam's Club they had the same problem and it fade it out and that's a problem because they give me so many with the extra insurance that I bought on the TV. Took three months for me to get another TV and then I'll buy another TV and it has a glenton at too.

We bought a 70" Vizio last Black Friday (not even a year ago) and they have replaced it twice, which was nice of them, but between weird random lines on the screen to it randomly going to the smart cast setting while you are watching it, we couldn't change the volume until it warmed up and now the one we have if you don't turn it on for a day you have to unplug it when you go to watch it cause it's like it's muted. These tvs have been garbage. And their reasoning is that they have to be hooked to the internet cause they need to update, and last time I checked not everyone has that ability nor do they want to.

Volume is volume and over many years we have never needed that with a tv smart or not! This time when I chatted with someone while I was talking to them said I was quiet for too long (which I wasn't) and they were disconnecting. Now not only are we terribly disappointed with their tvs now customer service. What was once a great company is now garbage!!

This is the first time in my life I’ve ever purchased a television that had problems. My Vizio OLED 55-H1 will not power on! The light will indicate the power is on however there’s no pictures. I cannot switch the inputs either. I have to constantly unplug my television to do a soft reset. This is unacceptable. This happen day one and I thought it was a glitch and I did not want to deal with the hassle of a return and now I regret. I cannot recommend any Vizio products.

There is a reason why there are tons of ‘how to videos' showing how to get the sound to work if your Vizio’s sound stopped working. No wonder… one month after buying it and I have to unplug it from the wall almost every time we want to watch tv. Never again.

Vizio is another big company, that takes advantage of hard working people, I bought a 65 in. Quantum t.v (smart), I have had it for 1yr. And 4 months, and now it has a black cloud over the entire screen, called customer service and they explained that they would give me a 20 percent discount on another t.v. Nevermind that my t.v. is just over a year old, I ask could I speak to someone else and was told there is no one else. I'm sick giving my money to big industries that doesn't give a crap about you. So they get to enjoy my money for a little over a year of their trashy tvs.

I purchased a Vizio TV in 2/2021. The tv worked until a software update was done in early June. Since the update, I have had ongoing problems with the audio and video not syncing properly. I contacted Vizio in early June and went through the troubleshooting procedures with them. After a few more calls, I was told a software update would be released that would fix the problem (this was in late June, early July). I have called several more times (7/21/2021, 8/5/2021, 8/20/2021, 8/30/2021) and each time was assured that Vizio was aware of the problem and they were working on it.

When I spoke to Louise on 8/20/2021, I was told the software update was due to be released in about three days. On 8/30/2021 I left her a voicemail message stating that no software update had been issued and my tv still does not work. In July I requested a refund and was told Vizio does not issue refunds and in the rare times they do it would take weeks (although Vizio asked for a copy of my receipt, which I provided).

I filed a complaint with the BBB on 8/31/2021 and someone called me on 9/6/2021 to follow up. I was told an update was scheduled to be released within a few days. The update was done on 9/15/2021 and so far the TV seems to be working. In the meantime, on 9/16/2021 Vizio responded on the BBB website that they tried to reach me, but could not and since I could not be reached, they closed the case.

I did have two phone calls from the same phone number that I was not able to answer (one on 9/15 and one on 9/16). The phone number did not include the name of a person or company and the caller did not leave a voicemail message. It could have been Vizio, but I have no way of knowing. Bottom line, 3.5 months is a long time to wait for a company to fix a software problem, and despite them telling me how good their customer service is, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I would not recommend anyone buy a Vizio TV and I do not plan to buy another one in the future.

I bought this tv less than a year ago. I barely watch it cause I work all the time. Noticed problems with apps not long after I watched it a few times. I've called numerous times throughout the months. Been given the blow off. I have 3 different supervisors numbers. No one returns my calls when I left voicemail to them. Finally on the 3rd supervisor she told me someone would contact me to repair tv within a week. Almost 2 weeks later I call supervisors all voicemail. Which doubtfully will receive return call. So called tech support to be told the parts or being ordered when no one has even came to see the problem with my tv. I would never recommend getting a Vizio tv again. Even when you have problems with tv from the beginning. They just feed you a line of crap. And never get back with you. I just looked up purchase history on Walmart app and it says it's a refurbished TV yet I bought it as new. Jerry **

I have had my Vizio TV for only two years and the screen on the top left started to get dark, I contacted tech support and they informed me that the TV only has a one year warranty. Bone disposable televisions. I emphasize the guarantee offered by PIXEL TO PIXEL, which is misleading advertising, for how much my television has image defects. I bought it very excited and so far without problems, but the quality leaves much to be desired. I do not recommend it even if it is at a good price or if you are looking for tv only for one or two years it is fine. Very bad.

Purchased a 65” Vizio from Best Buy. I specifically avoided purchasing from Walmart because I know the quality—or lack of—they sell. The audio is terrible. I quit turning it up at about 50 and decided to buy a sound bar. The date/time lags. The picture goes blank enough times to call it more often than not. I have to reboot the tv just as often. Bottom line: A terrible television even for the price. Do not waste your money. Add a couple of hundred and purchase a quality brand—Samsung, LG, Toshiba, etc. Vizio is junk.

Our Samsung TV stopped turning on (less than 1 year of use) so we decided to get a different brand tv. I went with a Vizio Smart tv. After getting home and setting everything up I realized that we are unable to add apps. So I can't get Sling or most of the other apps we are used to using. Sure they have the really popular ones like Disney Plus and Amazon, but what about Sling? Those of us using smart TVs typically don't have cable so we need to have more options for tv apps. I'm returning this and getting a different brand that actually has options where I don't have to connect my phone and use smart casting in order to watch tv. If I wanted to do that I would just use my phone, not spend $800 on a TV that has no options.

I purchased a Vizio TV (M-Series Quantum 65"4K HDR SmartTV: M65Q7-H1) in December, 2020 from Best Buy, together with a 2-year protection plan from the Geek Squad. Since then I’ve had number of problems including WiFI error messages (“not connected to the internet”), freezing of the TV screen when trying to load an app, sound/video out of sync. Broad horizontal banding (green, red) appears intermittently on the screen that “floats” up the screen.

The Geek Squad have been out numerous times over the last six months, but failed to repair the TV despite replacing many parts and performing many software updates. They contacted Vizio who say they will replace it with a refurbished TV. My problem is that I didn’t ask for a replacement and I certainly don’t want a refurb. I’d like my money returned since I bought a manifestly lemon TV. Vizio say they are following their warranty procedures. Credit to the Geek Squad for working tirelessly. Given my experience, I recommend that anyone buying a TV should look at other brands. Vizio might be budget choice, but they don’t offer a reliable quality product, and they don’t provide service procedures that are actually helpful. Don’t buy a Vizio.

I own a Vizio 65 inch Smart Television. I have had this television for about a year and a half. I have been quite impressed with the picture quality. It is bright and sharp with great color. The sound is adequate, though it would be nice if it could be a better. Some movies and shows require the volume raised to the limit and there is a bit of vibration and distortion when it is that high. This is not a huge problem as nearly all other televisions I've had have required a soundbar to hear dialogue. This television is usually loud enough on its own. The only real issue I had with this television is when I lost the remote and accidentally reset the television to factory default the television was completely useless! I could not setup the television without the remote so it was stuck at the setup screen until I could go out and buy another remote...Every television should have enough controls on the television itself to at least operate it through setup.

Well the dependability is terrific compared to my very expensive Samsung that failed after 3 1/2 years. The picture quality is mediocre. The "Smart TV" portion is fair at best, with some of the apps obsoleted without updates available after several years. The WIFI dependability is average.

I have a 55" Visio that works very well with both satellite and streaming. The picture quality is very clear and bright making tv/movie watching a very good experience. The remote works extremely well with DirecTv and all of my streaming services. The sound is only just average, but adding a sound bar helps.

I just bought the television. It's nice. It's really nothing to explain. The television has a Netflix and YouTube buttons on the remote control. The picture shows really nice. It's a smart television.

I've owned several Vizio brand tvs. Definitely a great value. I made a comparison with other Name Brand tvs and came very close or better in picture, sound and quality. My Vizio tv is still going strong with no problems. Thank You! Vizio for a great product.

I purchased because of the price/size. It wasn't too outrageous. I was surprised it came with Netflix and Hulu installed because my old TV is ancient and has no internet capabilities. We also discovered the screen casting feature and have been very happy about it. My only complaint is the HDMI input is only 3. For TV this price and how large I would hope they have more than just 3 inputs.

Bought a Vizio smart tv 2020 and we experienced so many problems. Everyday I have to spend 3hrs or greater to set up the so called smart tv up and then the Vizio tv restarts with the set up. Customer service isn't helpful along with anyone who has a Vizio to help. It's ridiculous.

Too many issues connecting to wifi. The TV always says "cannot connect to network". I always have to reboot the TV, sometimes a hard and sometimes a soft reboot. Casting to the TV is spotty bc of this issue. I know it's not my phone or my internet.

We purchased our first “Vizio” big screen Tv in 2017 because we bought we were getting a quality product. This costly TV completely crap out in 2019! Just short of 2 yrs! Warranty was up! Wow TVs these days are meant to last at least 6-7 yrs! Best Buy says “oh well” should’ve got the extended warranty! Couldn’t afford it! Thanks guys! Christmas 2019, We again went with a 70”Vizio TV! Why? Not sure, thought these thing happen I guess! We are still kicking ourselves over this! It is Aug 4th 2021! TV has been having problems for months, and now vertical lines everywhere and left half of screen is really dark! Wtf man! Really?!! These TVs are GARBAGE! But the salespeople will sell you strong on them! Someone do something!! Spent thousands for 2 TVs in less than 4 yrs! Terrible!!

Bought this TV new in late 2018. It's had issues off and on from the beginning. A few days ago the picture stopped working. Sound only. We went multiple reset options with no luck. Vizio say it only has a 1 year warranty. The normal lifespan of a modern TV is 7 years. This one lasted 3. Please take my experience and learn from my mistake. DON'T BUY A VISIO!

We have had the television only one day but so good so far. Good setup instructions and the on-line setup is very good. I just wish I knew if I need to remove the four tape strips, one on top another on the bottom and one on each side? Does anyone know? This needs to be addressed in the documentation which I downloaded.

Another American made piece of junk. Bought a 55 inch Vizio TV less than 3 years ago and it's junk. Support told me I have the black death screen and to buy another TV. Get this "they said that I could buy a new Vizio at a special discount price, because of my first unfortunate Vizio TV." I told them to stuff their Vizio TV's where the sun don't shine. I truly hope that someone will start a class action lawsuit against Vizio.

TV shuts off after several hours. Have to keep unplugging it for it to come on and stay on. THE WORST TV EVER. DO NOT BUY. I wish I had looked up the reviews before purchasing. It was "a good price". I definitely got what I paid for. Horrible. Even my grandchildren get frustrated trying to watch it.

Issues started within 30 days of purchase. Contacted Vizio on issue 3 times for the same issue after Resetting each time. Told me they were going to replace it and would contact me for the details. They then said it was fixable and for me to reset the TV once again. I complied with this Reset nonsense too many times. It is now obvious they are not honoring the warranty. It is my hope that others will not suffer through this as well. Something has gone to be done to protect the consumers.

I purchased a 65 inch Vizio P Series TV (model P65Q9-H1) last December for the specific reason that I had also just purchased a PlayStation 5. Upon purchasing the PS5, I wanted to buy a TV that is going to support the next generation graphics. So I specifically set out looking for a 4K TV with an HDMI 2.1 port that is 120hz. I decided to buy this TV as it has 4 HDMI ports in total. HDMI 1 and 2 are standard 2.0 ports that only support 60hz. HDMI 3 and 4 are the next generation 2.1 ports that are 120hz primarily used for the next-gen gaming consoles.

This TV is falsely advertised on both Vizio’s and Best Buy’s websites. To be clear, my complaint is against Vizio, not Best Buy. I did purchase the TV at Best Buy, however, the information, specs, verbiage, etc., that goes on Best Buy’s website is all supplied by Vizio for their products that Best Buy sells. Here is the TV that I purchased: **. This TV is clearly advertised as a 120hz TV on both websites. The 120hz does not work with my PS5, and in the rare occasion that it does, it is only a matter of time before issues occur with a white scrambled image as shown in the attached photo.

There are numerous complaints and negative reviews towards Vizio regarding this issue on Vizio’s, Best Buy’s, and numerous other websites. They are fully aware of the situation and have even posted topics regarding the issue on the FAQ page of their website. Their solution is for customers to use HDMI 1 or 2 which are only 60hz ports. I didn’t purchase a 60hz TV. I purchased a 120hz TV. If I wanted to play my PS5 in 60hz, then I would have either kept my previous TV or bought one for half the price that I spent on this one.

Vizio has been aware of this issue for as long as I have owned this TV, if not longer, due to the floodgates of complaints that they have received even prior to my purchase. The question I have is why are they still advertising this as a 120hz TV if it clearly does not work in 120hz? Is it just maybe because they want to continue to mislead the public in thinking that they are buying a 120hz TV so they can make more sales?

I have called and spoke to numerous supervisors in their corporate office over the past 7 months. I keep being told that they will be pushing out a firmware issue to resolve the problem. I have been dealing with this for 7 months and my patience is wearing thin. They can’t push out a firmware update to fix this issue but they can push out new TVs for 2021? Makes a whole lot of sense, doesn’t it?

In my communication with their corporate office, I had requested to be upgraded to the 2021 equivalent of last year’s version of my same model TV. The P Series Quantum X (model P65QX-H1) at no additional expense to me. They refused to do it. I’ve read some reviews on it and noticed that some people have reported not having any issues with the 120hz not working for them. I don’t think I am being unreasonable for requesting this considering all of the hours I have spent on the phone with their support team troubleshooting the issue.

Instead, they offered to refund my money. I don’t want a refund, I want a resolution to the issue. I purchased this TV during the holidays when it was on sale. For me to accept a refund would mean that I would have to spend several hundred dollars more to buy a TV now when they are not on sale in order to get a TV that supports these specs. My recommendation is to avoid Vizio at all costs. Their customer service is the worst. Instead of working with the customer, they will false advertise and mislead you into buying their products. Since they refuse to work with me on this issue, I am not only posting this review here, but on every other review site as well.

VIZIO TV is the worst TV experience in the world, if they had any common sense they would return people's money and rethink how to make a quality TV's. The tv locks up, it does an upgrade all the time, you can watch tv for about 3 to 4 hours and then it just shuts off then locks you out for an hour. TV is crap..

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on Vizio's crappy TV's. They are defective electronics and to top it all they won't stand behind their One year warranty. TWICE BURNT different size TV's. You think you are saving money or getting a good deal because they are cheaper. Well you get what you pay for: crap and won't stand behind their warranty. Terrible customer service. Buy any other brand but this crap.

Review of the Vizio smart TV application that comes with all your Vizio TVs. I hate this TV as they dictate what apps you can put on. I did not realize this when I bought a Vizio smart TV. In my opinion it’s my TV and I should be able to put on what apps I want. DO NOT BUY VIZIO SMART TVS UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO CONTROL WHAT YOU WATCH! This TV for me is nothing more than a monitor because now I have to buy an Apple device or a Roku device that lets me put on apps that I enjoy. Make sure they have the apps on their platform that you want or you are OUT OF LUCK!!! It’s a Censoring TV by controlling the apps that controls what you see that’s important in news media today. It has a ton of left wing liberal News apps and the only Fox for the right wing! Good luck.

I recently purchased two Vizio TVs. I always buy Samsung but I decided to give them a try. Big mistake, both TVs have given me problems. They both have just lost power while watching on more than one occasion. I bought a 70” and a 40”, same issues. That’s not a coincidence, just poor quality from the company. Never again!

Model V555-H1 ser LTMWZHKW1863146. On 06/07/2021 the TV flashed that Vizio was installing an update (not requested by me) and not to turn off the TV. Within about 15 minutes the TV Had a blank screen and 30 seconds later flashed Vizio logo. This process continued for 15 Hrs. I called service and spent about one Hr trying to fix - NO fix available. TV is dead for my use. AGAIN COMPANY INITIATED AN UPDATE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR INITIATION. THEY CRASHED THIS TV THAT I OWN AND WAS MADE BY VIZIO. Company rep called by at about 11 AM on 06/07/2021 and eventually said they will not fix. It should be emphasized that I did NOT initiate any commands. This was automatic from the Company. AT this time they are NOT intending to fix this expensive TV. Model V555-H1 ser LTMWZHKW1863146.

I bought a television one week before Christmas in 2020. The TV has not worked. All apps drop off. Have called Vizio tech support. I've been told it's their fault and they're going to fix it. It is now June. TV is still not fixed. Can I watch Hulu, Netflix or any other apps and I'm paying for them. I asked them to take the TV back. They refuse so I threw TV trash and bought a new TV today. Will never buy Vizio again. I want my $ 397 back. Product model v505 H9. Serial number liaz bkw 3707 918.

I needed to contact Vizio for a very simple question: My TV arrived with a packet of 4 small screws missing, Not essential for the functioning of the TV. I asked all possible ways to contact them (eg messaging as suggested, phoning, etc). Never got an answer got an answer. Messaging was never read for example. All I asked was, "Can you send me the missing screws, or give me their spec so I buy it at a local store."

The TV was purchased at the beginning of the pandemic because our last one (Sony) had an accident with my Autistic son. At the time there weren't a lot of tvs at BestBuy. So we settled on this vizio.. A few months later we purchased a smaller 24 inch for a smaller room, one where the TV gets used maybe once a month or every other month. Our 65 inch was wall mounted originally and the stands were lost at some point.. probably thrown away.. Well recently I decided to redo my entertainment center so I took down my original center and am remaking a new one where stands are required. I contacted vizio about PURCHASING new ones since it was my fault I no longer had them.

A nice lady said since the TV was under warranty, she would send me new ones.. was happy. I checked back after almost two weeks and was informed by lady number two, that vizio does NOT do that and DOES NOT sell stands.. seems weird to make a TV that includes stands but if you need new ones for some reason, they don't sell them. She gave me three websites of people that would sell them and I contacted all three and NO ONE had them in stock..

So I ordered from Amazon and they work.. so now remote... This is a big issue... both of our remotes for our vizios.. well..how can I say this? Junk.. the OK button that selects the app or program you are on is soooo unresponsive that sometimes you feel like you are pressing it hard enough to bend it.. I've talked to vizio and went over all the steps they have listed on their website. New batteries. Clean line of sight to tv.. pushing ALL OF THE OTHER buttons and all of the other buttons are ok.. Now the problem is not me.. it's the remote.

How do I know this? Like I mentioned we have two vizio tvs. The 65 gets used daily a lot.. I could understand if we wore the button out.. but the 24 inch? Since we purchased it, I can honestly and truthfully say it has been used less than 10 to 15 times since we purchased it.. It is in a room that is hardly ventured into.. Once every other month maybe? And its controller has same issue.. now see my issue? Junky.. We have downloaded the app and it works..

Now last issue.. I have to hardstart (turn off unplug wait etc etc) approximately every two months or so because some of the apps like YouTube or Vudu or Disney+ will not work. They just go to a black screen and nothing. I've talked to vizio tech at various points even one helping me out to make sure it was updated and this and that.. same issue again today and that is why I'm writing all this.. Maybe most people love their vizio. Not us... We are going back to SONY or try LG or anyone else.. TV is just at a bit over year old and it feels like we have had it for a decade...Oh well...

I purchased a 70 inch V series Smart Tv on Nov. 30, 2020. I have had previous Vizio TVs without any problems. I guess my luck ran out! Tried to watch a Netflix movie on 4/25 and it would start a stop after a few minutes. I tried several times to no avail. I tried turning the tv off and back on but it would not come back on. I have tried all the troubleshooting tips that are listed on the website to no avail. I put in a warranty claim on Monday and received a call on Tuesday wanting to verify what the problem was. I needed to be near the tv for them to talk me through the troubleshooting steps (which I had already done). Being that I was at work I was told to call after I got home.

The number the representative gave me to call was not a good number so I called another support number that I found. The lady commenced to troubleshoot the problem again (same procedure). She said she would need to make out a service request and I told her I already had one from Monday and she informed me it had been cancelled. It is now Friday and I have yet to hear from anyone about the service request and I am unable to reach them by phone and they will not return messages.

Bought a 30" Vizio because the prices were the cheapest. BIG MISTAKE. Television is very slow. Sometimes completely unresponsive. Like a 1980s PC with a modem. Piece of SHAT. Buy something better. Maybe a Sony. This POS is being used as a PC monitor. No more Vizios for me.

Bought a 65 inch Vizio television in 2015 for $2800 Canadian. 5 years 5 months later, which is just past the extended warranty period, the tv will not turn on. I’m told it may be the capacitor or the actual motherboard which has inferior component parts. I tried all the troubleshooting suggested but to no avail. Thank the Lord I did not buy the extended warranty. I called Vizio about this issue and spoke with 3 Different Customer Service Specialists who all gave me the same response, “I’m sorry Sir but there is nothing we can do for you.”

One of the Specialists named Ricardo had the audacity to say, "You got almost six years out this tv." Like I should be thankful. In reality I paid just over $500 a year to watch this tv and I am not thankful. I also found out that Vizio had to close their Canadian division because their product is the worst on the market. Do not buy this tv. It will not last. I have a Sony and an LG and they are both over 12 years old and still working fine. I’ve learned my lesson. Take my advice. Pay more and get a product that will last. No wonder Vizio has a class action lawsuit against them.

I purchased 3 Vizio TVs 11/2019 & I started experiencing problems a couple months later. I reached out to Vizio, but they wanted to send someone to my home at the beginning of the pandemic so I declined. Recently 2/2021 I let them come out to repair the televisions and they still are not repaired. The tvs all 3 cut on and off randomly and lose sound. I reached out to them again and they say I’m not eligible for a refund because it’s outside of the repair timeframe. Vizio is trash and they don't stand behind their product. I’m basically out $1,900 for three TVs less than 2 years old.

I so wish we'd have read these reviews prior to purchasing two different Vizio smart tvs - on the second one for each model as they have been nothing but trouble since we purchased. You should not have to reboot and factory reset every couple of weeks just to watch streaming content. Every two to three weeks it happens - will have worked perfectly fine the night before or even just hours before, and then it happens again. This is absurd! And when you search for solutions there are posts after posts about same issue. And even Vizio has steps/pages for same problems. Huge red flag right there! Getting ready to toss both - less than a year old - and buy a better brand. https://support.vizio.com/s/article/SmartCast-Input-Not-Loading-OK-Button-Not-Working-on-SmartCast-TV-1?language=en_US

In December of 2020 I purchased a 40 inch Vizio TV from Walmart in Birmingham, Alabama. There were white lines going across the top, returned it and purchased a 43 inch from Walmart. It did the exact same thing. Spoke to vizio. They shipped me a 3rd tv and assured me it was brand new and I would not have that problem and I shipped the 2nd tv back to them.

Two weeks later the same problem occured, Walmart is giving me the runaround and so is vizio. Vizio told me to send pictures of the tv showing the white lines and a copy of the receipt and I would receive a refund, this has been going on almost two months now. They are saying it doesn't qualify for a refund. What kind of company is this that sells defective televisions to walmart and the consumers. This company needs to be shut down and sued. Do not purchase a vizio tv from anywhere they are no good, goes to a black screen, remote does not work. A bunch of python snakes.

Do not buy Vizio products. Horrible product and horrible customer service. I purchased a Vizio V series 505-h9 from Walmart about 5-6 months ago. Very difficult to find any product information, whatsoever. Making it difficult to calibrate the tv professionally without the professional cost. I only found 1 person via YouTube who talked about the tv. Reddit and Google were not much help. I tried talking to customer service and they didn't know anything. As a result I kept basic settings until I learned more here and there. Fast forward to last month, where I discovered (and recommend) doing a white screen test via youtube on your tv to see if you have lighting issues behind the main screen.

When I did the white screen test I discovered what looked like a crack, and hair behind the main screen. I immediately requested a replacement tv. I had to wait on a response the next day. A female rep told me despite my 1 year warranty they didn't cover cracks. I asked repeatedly what did my warranty cover, she refused multiple times to answer my question. I then talked to the guy from youtube who I knew shared the same model of tv. He told me to try again. I did. I had to do the process of taking pictures and sharing them multiple times, eventually I was told I would get an advanced replacement.

Fast forward to today when the tv arrived. The box came banged up. I was nervous. I unboxed it, put in the stands, and placed the replacement tv inside of my entertainment system. Then I set the tv up, enter my settings, and did the white screen test via youtube (hoping for the best). Immediately I saw hairs behind the screen, on the screen, and found the top bezel super loose. It was so loose that I could pull the screen out and blow hairs from behind the main screen, on top of using tweezers to pull curly hairs out of the tv. It was so gross I decided I would never purchase another Vizio tv again. The fact that the replacement tv had over 15+ loose hairs on top of the super loose bezel which had black stuff fall from the loose bezel, which made me think they wear no protective head wear while assembling the tvs. It was long hair, short hair, and curly hair in the tv. Disgusting. I took to Amazon, reddit, youtube, and here to warn others.

Nothing worse than laying down and turning on your tv and nothing working unless you physically get up unplug and plug it back it. Complete piece of junk. I will never purchase vizio products again.

Bought a brand new Vizio 55” smart tv on January 3rd 2020. It’s beyond ridiculous how terrible this tv is. Picture quality and sound quality are solid and that’s the ONLY good thing you can say about this thing. Remote constantly glitches out and doesn’t respond. If the screen goes dark for just a second, for any reason, like changing between apps or even for a commercial to start, there’s an annoying buzzing sound. Tv will randomly go dark. You can still pull up the menus and input choices but no matter what you can’t get anything else to pop up (Hulu, netflix, etc.) and you have to unplug it and plug it back in.

HDMI inputs often don’t work at all or will suddenly say there’s no connection and it will turn off, even if you’re currently watching something on said input. Power chord input and HDMI inputs are on opposite sides of the tv, making it harder to plug things in that don’t have 6 foot chords, which was just a stupid design choice. Over all, I would rather have a non flat screen tv from 20 years ago than ever buy another piece of ** from Vizio.

On April 29, 2018, we bought a 65” #Vizio flat screen television from #Wal-Mart. It was a pretty big purchase so we bought the service plan so that if anything went wrong after the warranty expired, it would be paid for. Sure enough, something did go wrong. I don’t know anything about televisions, but apparently one of the LED strips has failed. The left half of the television is so dark it is impossible to see anything. We called the number for the service plan on the receipt, which is where the problems started. The phone message told us to file the claim online. We did that and then waited. We were eventually contacted by someone here in San Antonio. We set up a time for him to come to the house and look at the TV. He diagnosed the problem with the LED strip, which is great. He said that someone would be in touch with us soon to either pick up the TV and repair it or we would be able to trade in the TV at Wal-Mart for a new TV.

The next thing that happened was that we received an email saying that the claim had been resolved and that the TV had been repaired or replaced, neither of which had actually occurred. We have called the phone number for the service plan many, many times. We get the run around every single time and nothing is being done to fix the TV. It is extremely frustrating. The final upshot of this post is that you should never, ever buy the service plan when you make a major purchase from #Wal-Mart.

The thing freezes in the middle of a movie. You have to unplug it just to make it reboot itself. This is the reason Vizio was the only tv left on the shelves during this pandemic. I should have known better.

My 55 inch Vizio tv sound doesn't work. I've reached out several times and was given a different excuse from every customer service rep. I even spoke with an "escalation specialist". They simply don't care. Never buy VIZIO products.

If you buy a 200$ TV for a little girl and the TV stops working for 2 different reasons within months of purchase, DO NOT expect it will be replaced as you’d expect with such a trash piece of equipment. Instead, you will need to have a repairman come to your house in a 2-3 hour window when you should be at work and try to fix your trash piece of equipment you just bought within the last half-year.

My piece of trash equipment I bought was a VIZIO TV and it had stopped working for two separate reasons over the last 5-6 months post-purchase. So even if there was an opportunity to repair I would rather it be replaced by equipment that hadn’t already proven itself to be trash. This was not an expensive purchase where replacement would be thousands of dollars. It was a 200$ purchase that already had broken itself twice in the 6 months we had it.

So to finalize my review: The 32” tv was total trash and didn’t last 6 months. The customer service was total trash in that you’ll need to not go to work, stay at home and wait during the 3-hour window for a repairman to come to your home during a pandemic, then hope he can either fix your twice broken trash TV in its 6-month existence and it doesn’t break down again or that he cannot fix it and they can finally replace your piece of trash 200$ new tv. 1/5 for both equipment and service.

Purchased Aug 30 2020. I had my 43 inch 2 and 1/2 months. Every time I hang it on the wall I get the horizontal lines. Talked to Vizio. They sent a replacement tv. It's new. As soon as I hang it on the wall I get the same lines. Take it off the wall it's fine. There is a defect with the v series tv for wall mounting. Will never buy a vizio again.

One of the legs that hold the TV up broke into three pieces in the middle of the night. After further examination I noticed that the other leg had minor cracks in the exact same areas as well. This leaves me to suspect that they must've come like that brand new because I just purchased this tv in July. I knew Vizio was poor quality, but I did not expect the thing to just snap like that. Lesson learned.

So I bought a 50 Vizio t.v. from Walmart on 27 of May. Something went wrong and they claim it's my doing that caused it. Wont fix it or honor warranty and neither will walmart and I paid for that warranty.

I purchased a 32-inch Vizio TV in August. It worked for a month, then had some issues, then lost sound, and this morning, lost video. Although my warranty says that Vizio will do home repair, in fact, they do not. I have spent hours on the phone trying to arrange for a replacement and trying to troubleshoot the ailing set. This morning was the last straw when the tech person told me that in order to thoroughly troubleshoot, I would have to plug in a dvd player or a laptop. I have neither. This was the worst consumer experience I have ever had.

I bought a Vizio Smart Cast TV in June 2020 and it never worked as a Smart TV. Here it is October. The company makes excuses why a brand new TV is not working for the main reason I bought it. I would not recommend this Brand Vizio to any one. Don’t Buy Vizio TV.

I purchased this 40 inch TV in July of 2019 from Best Buy. I've constantly had to do a soft reset on this TV, as the Smartcast won't load. It went from doing this monthly, to a few times a month, to weekly, to now, every day. Ridiculous. And I see that this is a constant issue, as multiple people have this same complaint. I have 2 other non name brand TVs, and have not had any problems whatsoever....Yet the Vizio TV has frustrated beyond words. I don't think I'll ever be buying this brand again. I've spoken to Vizio support, updated the software, and still, the problem has seemed to get worse. They need to fix this issue.

Purchased a Vizio D series smart (?) TV. Immediately started having problems with it not responding... blank screen, freezing, shutting off, error messages. Had to continuously reset. Vizio reps telling me it was my Internet, changed Internet provider.. same issues etc... They knew there were issues with their products and stalled me until my warranty expired and they could tell me sorry..not sorry. Now stuck with this junk...until I can purchase another TV. I will never purchase another vizio product ever.

Don't buy this junk. I bought a 40 in TV for our master bedroom about a year ago. Then I bought one for my daughters room 3 months layer for Christmas 2019. Had to return hers at two months as it would not turn on. Exchanged for a Samsung. The master bedroom one is now junk. Trouble turning on and when it finally does sound does not work and when sound finally goes on it is out of sync with picture. I was hesitant to buy Vizio and now I know why. I had a 46 in Samsung in living room for almost 13 yrs no problems. Now I have to figure out if I can return this piece of crap or is Vizio going to be jerks and not return my money. Don't buy VIZIO their products are crap!!!!

I used to love Vizio. I have owned two TVs and three soundbars. This last soundbar will be the last Vizio product I ever buy. I purchased the Vizio 5.1.4 soundbar for my living room Dec 2019. Everything worked for a few months and then out of nowhere the rear speakers began to crackle and pop. I called in as it was within warranty and had a replacement sent out. Almost immediately the replacement was worse than the original unit I had. Instead of sending me a new unit as they had promised me when they sent the refurbished unit out the first time they said they were going to send me a refund.

The next day I got a call saying I was not going to be getting a refund and they would be sending me out a replacement unit and I would be receiving an email so this could move forward. After 24 hours had passed and I had not received an email I called in and had to begin the entire process over again. I am now a week passed to that and I'm starting all over again with them saying they're going to send a refund and the whole process should take over a month. If you want to save your time and hassle over products that don't work I recommend you going somewhere else other than Vizio.

We bought a 47 inch and an 80inch tv and both of them did not last. We had the 80inch replaced under warranty. We were lucky because we just under the 1 year warranty. Sent us a "new" one and it didn't last one month. They sent us another one. The 47 inch has went and it has been just over one year. In all of them it has been the back lighting that has went.

I bought my Vizio TV about 4 years ago. The TV was pretty good. Good picture. Sound not great. A cheap limited remote that had to be replaced immediately. I was generally satisfied. I did not pay a premium price and I did not get a premium product. About a month ago Vizio did a software upgrade and my TV has been a disaster ever since. When I turn the TV on I get an error message. It tells me it cannot find the software and tells me to use the icons below. There are no icons below. It tells you to stream to the TV using Chromecast. If you wait long enough the screen with all the apps eventually boots up. It can take two minutes or longer. This is not an internet issue. When I access my TV screening service on my laptop, the access is virtually instantaneous.

I called customer service. If you want to talk to a moron, call Vizio customer service. Absolutely clueless. I asked to speak with a manager. The guy just waited on the phone until I asked if he was going to get a manager and he told me none was available. I was dealing with an imbecile but all Vizio customer service reps are imbeciles.

Yesterday, Vizio did another software upgrade. The result was even worse. Initially all I could get was a black screen. Several attempts resulted in the error message described above. Once I got the apps on the screen I could not load YouTube TV though it loaded almost instantaneously on my laptop. A call to Vizio put me in touch with another imbecile. He had no clue. Verified new software had been loaded. Did a factory reset. Now am I back to where I was when the first bad software was loaded. Sometimes I just get a black screen. Turn TV off and turn on. Get an error message. After a minute or two the icons appear.

Everything takes forever to load. Again... I have plenty of internet speed and YouTube TV works quickly and seamlessly on my laptop. One I get a picture it is quite good. This is obviously a software problem. The fact that Vizio is willing to distribute such garbage operating software tells your they are lazy, cheap and incompetent from top to bottom. NO ONE SHOULD BUY A VIZIO TV. THE MONEY SAVED IS NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION!!!!

I purchased a Vizio tv and it is absolutely the worst tv I've ever owned. It came with a small remote that doesn't allow you to access the tv menu as well as an android tablet that hasn't worked right ever. The tablet stopped working all together and when I contacted Vizio the customer service agent wasn't any help at all. They advised that because I'm in Canada (where I bought the crappy tv) they can't send me a replacement remote that will allow me to access the tv menu. Absolutely useless and a total waste of time. I was asked if I wanted the manager to call me but why? I had already been told they would not help me so why waste any more time. Save yourself the headache and DON'T BUY A VIZIO product. If anything happens to it or it doesn't work right they won't lift a finger to help you.

I purchased 65" Smart TV from Sam's in Mar 2020. Sam's replacement is good for 90 days. Murphy struck and my Vizio developed a red vertical line about day 95 so Sam's told me to contact Vizio. It took almost six weeks to get the tv replaced. Hooked up new replacement "Smart TV" and immediately started having sound issues. Now dealing with morons from overseas where Vizio outsources customer service. And, of course, getting absolutely nowhere with any resolution. The only thing smarting will be you if you buy Vizio.

This is the worst TV I’ve ever owned. I don’t understand how a piece of technology built in 2019 can be so bad. I never leave reviews for anything and I sought out this website to leave this review. That’s how bad it is. If I prevent even one person from buying a Vizio, I will consider this mission a success. You can’t download any sports apps onto the TV so you have to cast everything from your phone. But that works only 50% of the time on this tv. This tv also likes to randomly turn itself off constantly. It will also turn itself back on after you turn it off for the evening. For the love of god do not buy a Vizio smart TV.

I bought the Vizio M50Q7-H1 TV on Sept 2, 2020. This is a replacement for the 50" D series that died after only 4 1/2 years! I set up my new TV, and watched a movie. About 3 hours after setting up the TV, the Smartcast goes out! I was like, "WTH?!" I did some research, and did a "soft shut down," which fixed the problem. Now, six days later, another issue came up. I was watching a program on Netflix, and temporarily stopped what I was watching. I resumed watching the program, and half the screen, horizontally, turned gray. It only lasted for about five seconds, but was still a little disturbing, considering the TV is ONLY SIX DAYS OLD! I did purchase an extended warranty thru the merchant. You know what they say, "Once Bitten, Twice Shy!" Hopefully, I won't experience any more issues!

Bought a Vizio TV at Walmart in November 2019, it started to turn off by itself in a few weeks and didn’t work at all in February 2020. Vizio service company UNIS are the most unprofessional and rude people I ever dealt with. After 3 canceled appointments (both before and after the quarantine) someone came but wasn’t able to fix the TV. Now Vizio will replace the TV with a refurbished one, but they put hold on the price of the new TV to make sure I return the broken one. While I understand the need to place a hold I don’t understand why for the price of a new TV when I get a used one in return. How about the warranty? 30 days for the TV they send or until the original warranty expires. How about the 5 months they didn’t fix it? I had more than 5 Vizio TVs until now, but this for sure will be my last one.

I have had this television for about four years. Small problems at first. Television would shut itself off for no reason. Then when using Netflix the television would switch back to whatever program I had been watching before signing into Netflix. Aggravating. Then I received notice that Vizio was part of a class action lawsuit and finally yesterday the picture froze, a siren like sound came from the television and it died. I have noticed that lately there are a lot of televisions that look like mine in the dumpster at my apartment building, cannot swear they are Vizio's, but I would not be surprised.

I purchased from Walmart on April 4, 2020 model V655-G9 65" TV only to have it die on August 4, 2020. The screen won't come on. It's still under warranty and Vizio is going to replace it on-site but what normally took 7 to 10 business can take up to twice that long now because of Covid19. My suggestion to any person thinking of buying a Vizio TV is to check the online reviews and consumer reports. I've owned a lot of TVs over the years but never one that died before having given me many years of use.

I purchased the TV online and had it wall mounted and professionally installed by an electrician. I was replacing an older Vizio which had performed very well. I noticed that the quality of the TV and the remote was cheap in comparison. The setup process was cumbersome and not well explained by the material provided. I had problems with installed programming, then with YouTube streaming service and with Netflix. There was constant lagging on all apps that would come and go intermittently. Customer service people were well intentioned but resolutions were temporary. Today it just died, won't power up at all. A service call was promised sometime in the vague future. I'm going to junk it and get a better quality product.

I bought this TV 8 months ago, and it’s been a pain ever since. The remote stores energy and stops working. You have to take out the batteries and press every key twice then reinstall the batteries. I could deal with that, but... This TV most times won’t turn off! It talked several times of turning it on and off before it will actually turn off. Now when I turn it on I can hear the program, but the screen is black. Once again I must turn it on and off to get a picture. Lastly, the voice sync is AWFUL. I use the setting for audio sync, and sometimes it works, but usually it doesn’t. I also bought a ROKU TV which is cheaper and TEN TIMES THE TV VIZIO IS. I will never buy another VIZIO, and I strongly do NOT recommend you buy this brand.

I bought a TV in December of last year. All was fine but when we were mounting it on the wall it ruined it, does not work anymore and we followed exact instructions, it's not scratched or cracked and it didn't fall but it is on the wall but does not work. We called 3 times about it and all 3 times they said they were going to send us an email with instructions on how to get a replacement. They never sent it and sounds like their customer service is outsourced to India. I am not racist, but they could barely understand me and vice versa.

No one will help me and the TV isn't even 7 months old yet and yet it's done and I am out my $ because no one cares nor will they help me. DO NOT BUY VIZIO, THEY SUCK JUST AS BAD AS THEIR INDIAN CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT. SUCKS!!!! I had never had problems with Vizio until now and now I tell the whole world... save your money, do not give it to them, buy a better brand, a brand that you won't need customer service for anything!+??

We purchased a defective 75-inch Vizio TV and an additional 3-year warranty in 8/2018. On 6/2020, we called Vizio due to problems with the TV: dark horizontal lines across the screen, intermittent sound loss, intermittent shutdown, and it takes 5-6 attempts to turn on. We emailed images documenting the issues. During the 4 weeks of emails and phone calls, Vizio representatives were rude and gave us incorrect information. They repetitively called my husband “ma‘am” and referred to him as female, even after he repeatedly stated “my name is Joseph, I am male.” The representatives also offered us the option to choose between 2 replacement models: P75-F1 or P759-G1 and they emailed links to specifications for each.

Based on the information they sent and reviews, we chose the P759-G1. They sent a confirmation with a service request link and saying the shipment might be delayed due to Covid but the links did not work. We called to check the status. We were told the TV had been shipped and “there was nothing to worry about”. When we asked for a tracking number another supervisor told us the email was a “mistake”. The TV had not been shipped. The P759-G1 was not in the warehouse and they were trying to “find one”. We later received an email saying the TV had been shipped. The service number and tracking number links again did not work. We called and spoke to customer relations.

He acknowledged that he sent the email with the specifications for the two models. But he also stated there had been “multiple mistakes made across the four weeks”. We should not have been offered the two options. Our only option is the older defective model and the case is closed. He also refused to provide information for his supervisor. Said we could email him our complaint(s). Our original TV has a warranty through 2023. Vizio is sending a model with the same known issues and it will only have a one-month warranty. Because they are sending a “new” TV, the additional 3-year warranty is voided.

I bought a 65 inch smart tv from Walmart May 1st 2020. A week later it had a pixel line going from the top to the bottom of the screen. I had already thrown the box out so I decided to see if Vizio would replace it. Seems easy enough right? 2 weeks later they arrive with the replacement tv.. It was broken when it arrived 4 weeks later and 2 more replacement TVs all broken(4 TVs in total). It is now July 7th and I have a 65 inch tv that has no picture sitting in my living room. I am being told it’ll be another 4 to 6 weeks before I get my refund so I can look for a better tv that is NOT Vizio. The part that makes me the most angry is none of the people I have spoken to including a manager seem to actually care. They haven’t offered anything to try making the situation better. I wish I had just returned it to Walmart in the first place.

We had a home fire and insurance replaced all of our TVs 12 of them. Our older Vizio TV’s had been good sets for several years, now all of these will not stay connected to the Internet. There needs to be a suit brought against this company. We now have all of these TV’s and all Vizio will tell us is remove it from power and plug it back in. We have had to do that 8 times in one movies. We moved the 70” one from the den and now have a 55” TLC Roke one that works flawlessly. Consumer Reports should do a study on this to find out what the problem is we would even fund it.

Still no power. Vizio is correct. It only had a 1 year warranty....Expected more from a well known brand. Will steer clear of their TVs.... Was surprised to see so many other complaints about Vizio online as well as complaints to the BBB.

My family has a large Vizio TV in our family room, and it has had issues from the minute it has been installed. It has had lots of random turning off of audio, visual, or both. Every once in a while, it will randomly shut off the TV and then turn back on right after, but sometimes it either won't turn off at all or won't turn on at all. I'm not sure if this is related, but we've also had issues with having to frequently replace our cable box (we've had 2 new ones in less than 6 months) because the "hard drive keeps getting burnt out." I'm beginning to wonder if it's the Vizio TV that's causing this issue as well. I'm surprised my dad hasn't completely replaced the TV yet, because he's a perfectionist who hates shoddy workmanship. I hope he does at this point, so it can save my family the headache and frustration.

I also have a smaller Vizio for college. I have had a few issues with it randomly turning on/not staying turned off, and issues with it not connecting to apps like Netflix or Hulu despite having the TV connected to a very fast WIRED Internet connection. I'm nervous to continue using it because I'm afraid of it completely dying on me and it becoming a waste of money. At this point, I'm thinking of trying to sell my Vizio TV and using the money to buy a similar TV of a different (more reliable) brand. When we first got these TVs, we were all fairly impressed with the quality of picture and sleek design of the TV. I wish I could say the same today. Trust me when I say it's worth spending a tad bit more money for a better quality product than a Vizio TV.

I am now going through my second Vizio “warranty” as they incorrectly call it. I told Vizio about my issue and they sent a tech to the house to try and fix the problem. My tv went black and never turned back on again out of the blue one day, weird that this was the same issue that happened before with my Vizio D series tv... that needed to be replaced. The tech they sent was a man doing this job on the side (told me this wasn’t his real job) and his “helper” was his wife... unlikely that she was a tv tech too... deemed the unit “unrepairable” (E-60 series tv) and since then Vizio has gone MIA. No emails or calls returned, ever. If I don’t call them they don’t bother, and I am 4 weeks dealing with this runaround. Not only is this time in particular bad, but I’m already on my second Vizio tv from the same purchase (first one didn’t last 3 months, this next replacement unit barely lasted a year).

Don’t buy vizio... awful products and even more awful customer service. I purchased from a Costco in the GTA, first purchase was a D-60 series and my replacement when that one broke was this E-60 series. I just want my money back... I don’t want their terrible products or lacking customer support ever again. Spend some extra money and get a better brand that will come with better customer service.

DO NOT waste your $ or time on Vizio. I bought a 50" visio v series from Walmart. 14 days later the remote, buttons on tv and the app remote no longer worked the tv. Couldnt do anything.. Turn on/off channels volume. Etc. Called vizio. Got a repair 2 weeks later. The repair guys messed tv up worse. It still didnt work and now it would connect to wifi. So called vizio again. They sent a replacement.

Now after a month I've barely had a tv working waiting on 2nd one to arrive. The New tv worked great until day # 13.. After the 13th day of using vizio same problem.. Remote stopped working, buttons on back no longer work and of course the app dont work tv either. 2 tvs same problem ONLY AFTER 14 DAYS OF HAVING. They refuse to refund my $ and they are looking to see if they have a different tv to send me. I'm so terribly unhappy I wish I spent the extra 100$ and got Samsung, ANYTHING BUT VIZIO...

I feel it's a software problem. The app remote kinda proves that. The vizio main guy said they havent had enough complaints to make changes to software... AND people on internet lie. He said to me "People on internet claim big foot is real dont mean it is". My reply was, "Well if bigfoot was in front of me then it's real. Because my tv isnt working at all and there is a bunch of complaints about same problem so you're telling me that, they and I are lying because I'm having same issue."

Bunch of stuck up people who will dance around the issue. I want a refund. They refused and supposed to send me my 3rd tv.. So after 2 months I've used a good tv. 1 month of that and now I'll have to wait another 3 weeks on a different tv. This whole time I cant use the NEW ONE I BOUGHT.. Please do not get involved with vizio.. Spend a little more $ and go a different route.

Vizio support was not helpful. We purchased a television and after 6 weeks it started having a lot of problems from the remote to it shutting off or just going dead to saying an error has occurred in the middle of a program. I would not recommend this company to anyone! No returns. Waste of money and time! Support just wanted to waste time troubleshooting which took 45 minutes on my mother’s Vizio. I said forget it and I will throw it in the trash.

Do not ever buy a Vizio television or a soundbar... You don't have a choice but to use either the Soundbar or the TV sound. You cannot toggle between one or the other. Who in the world would define such a requirement? Never again will I purchase a Vizio product. I'd highly recommend that you do not either. Utter garbage.

Purchased a Vizio 55 inch TV that boasted a superior picture and solid brand name. My experience reflects the complete opposite. From the start we experienced problems: Tv would turn itself on..., we would come home or hear noise in the middle of the night to discover the tv turned on by itself. Would see a black haze or shadow across the screen that would randomly appear and disappear. Vizio support would always direct us to power off reset. Sometimes it help, most times it didn’t. We ended up using a power switch to control power to tv and prevent the mysterious auto power on problem. No solution for the random shadow incident.

Received a recent update and suddenly the vizio sound bar would mysteriously turn off in the middle of a program. Again no pattern, but definitely started after the vizio update. Now about 30 - 60 days after the update the screen has gone 100% black screen. Contacted vizio who advised the Power on reset as the only action. We do this and see the vizio logo on start up but then screen goes black. Can hear the audio but no picture. Vizio says the panel has failed and it is “not economical to fix and set is out of warranty so I should buy a new tv”. While I do not expect a tv to last forever I do expect it to last longer than 16.5 months!! My advice is not to buy a vizio product regardless of any recommendations as you will likely regret it.

I bought a 65" Verizon TV. It only lasted 7 months and started going out a little at a time until it died completely. Verizon sent me a replacement TV. Unfortunately it was a refurbished model. The LED screen was hanging out of the black frame. On top of that, the TV started doing the same thing the last one did. I did not notice the screen right away. When I did, I contacted Vizio. They would not do anything. I even purchased the extended warranty but even after exhausting attempts with Vizio they refused to do anything. Buy a different brand!!!

I cannot stress enough how horrible our experience has been with Vizio. It is an E 70 series. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. At times it turns off all of a sudden. I've gone through the manual, went through the online recommendations, but still the problems continue. It is like Vegas each time we attempt to watch...gambling each time that the tv will work properly. Their support service is just as inept. They will gladly charge you, but not very helpful. Don't waste the money; get another brand...RCL, LG. This has been a poor experience.

Purchased a 70" Vizio Smartcast TV through Costco. Throughout the use of the TV, we experience recurring issues (see list below). During the first few months of the issues, we tried to troubleshoot ourselves through power cycle, forced power off, unplug and restart etc. However, it has been occurring constantly that we decided to call Costco support in Dec 2019. Eventually, we were referred to Vizio support in February 2020. I have made 10+ calls to Vizio support to continuously follow-up and to-date, no resolution and no refund received. This has been the longest, most inefficient, and most frustrating customer service I encountered, not to mention the quality of the TV is a lemon. To list some of the issues with the TV are as follows:

1. screen goes blank
2. sound goes off
3. watching a show i.e. on Netflix abruptly stops and disconnected from the app

4. Smartcast not responding in spite that internet connection is high speed

Vizio customer support is inefficient, ineffective, and so far, portraying to cheat the process. In my recent follow-up, they are using the pandemic as an excuse for their delay and lack of follow-through, but this was a case that started months prior, not to mention this was an expensive purchase.

65" TV burnt out in 5 years. 50 tv all HDMI port stopped working after a couple years. The TV without menu button on the remote is a royal pain. You have to access the menu thru an app on your phone and it doesn't connect. I also bought a Vizio that had no Tuner and didn't know that until I tried to hook up a tv antenna to it. I will never buy another Vizio.

My brand new 65 inch TV (~6 month old) stopped working suddenly and could not even turn on. I contacted Vizio on the basis of warranty, they said they cannot replace the TV straight away. They promised they would first send a tech to look/repair the TV in 2/3 days and yes, two weeks down the line, I am still waiting. Every time you call them, you find a new rep with a different story and yes, you are purely treated as a bother. Vizio to me is a no go zone!!!!

Today I made the mistake of buying a Vizio tv, my god it takes a degree from MIT to be able to set up a tv. I spent three hours having to go over & over the same set up because this damn tv would not accept anything that was done. Even after going through the set up again & again this damn tv would not work. We did everything would could think of & this damn tv would not work. I thought about calling customer service but Vizio had set it up so no one can call on purpose. The paperwork says "We do not accept phone calls."

Now I ask what the hell kind of company does that? I'll tell you the kind that doesn't care about the people that make the mistake of buying their tv's. because of their lack of concern for the people that buy their tv's it took me three hours to get this tv set up. I will never buy another Vizio tv if i live a thousand years & I'll never tell anyone else to buy one either & if you care about your time you won't buy one either. The worst tv to set up ever, it takes a degree from the MIT to set it up.

Do not buy their TVs. I have went and returned 3 42in flat screens tvs. Not worth your time. It won't stay connected to my wireless connection which makes it useless. It won't let you do anything. It's not my internet. My provider is spectrum. All my other devices stay connected. Don't pay for a dumb tv. Go get an actual smart tv.

In Jan 2017 I purchased a Vizio 65” tv. I did so because at the time it was highly rated because of its above average picture quality and below average cost. In Jan 2019 the screen went black. I called Vizio customer service and was told that because I was out of warranty they could not replace the tv free of charge but would sell me a new one at a discount.

After about 8-9 months I experienced problems with the new tv. The picture would freeze and then after about 30 seconds it would power off and restart. I called Vizio to report the problem. Even though the tv was still under warranty they did not offer to replace or repair the tv but had me “power cycle” the tv in hopes of fixing the problem.

Over the next few months not only did the problem persist but the occurrences also increased in frequency. Once again I called the Vizio customer service to report that I had repeatedly tried the solutions they provided and not only were they not working, other problems such as picture with no sound are occurring. This time they said the tv needed to be repaired or replaced but unfortunately my warranty has now expired. Despite the fact that they have it on record that I initially reported the problem while the tv was still under warranty they refused to replace the tv. I am now looking for my 3rd tv in 3 years. One thing you can be certain of is that it will not be a Vizio. It’s not a bargain if you have to buy more than one over a three period.

I put my info in and it says it's wrong, I have tried repeatedly. I can't watch Netflix, Disney, none of my apps. Smart cast is not available.

Vizio TV’s are of cheap quality and poor customer service… Bought a Vizio TV 6 months ago. Top part started to separate and split open. Contacted Vizio multiple times, sent them pics that they required and after all that- they told me they can’t do anything about it. I gave them ALL the info they needed.

(1) Proof of purchase or receipt for the VIZIO Product.
(2) Pictures of the purported issue with the VIZIO Product.

(3) The serial number of the product.

I said “alright if you are not going to replace my defective TV, then I will let others know about your poor customer service and TV quality." Don't buy Vizio products especially tv's = they are cheap quality and customer service sucks!! (Even if you find a great deal.) Warning: You will not get a refund or exchange if your VIZIO product starts to fall apart even if you only bought it 5-6 months ago.

I bought this Vizio Smartcast TV model V505-G9 on December 19,2019, At first the tv was great, good picture, good sound quality. Less than a month after purchase, screen would go black in the middle of something I was watching and would revert to the home screen, not much of a problem, I would just go back to the app I was using and continue watching. This started happening more and more frequently until the past two weeks. Now the screen again goes black and returns to the home screen, which FAILS to load. Now you have to do a "soft power cycle". If that does't work then you have to do a factory reset, which I have had to do EVERY SINGLE DAY for two weeks, sometimes multiple times a day. Biggest waste of money ever.

During a recent stressful move to a new area in Nov. 2019 I made a hasty purchase of a new smart TV, model D43fx-F4, from a "Wolly World Superstore" (I assume you all know what Co. I am referring to) to replace a smaller one I had been using. The price was better than any other offer in the store and it had a great looking picture on display, better than any of the other models in it's price range. I also purchased the 3 year "Protection Plan" offered for 10% of the purchase price. 5 months later the set "lost its mind" (probably the main board) and stopped working. Contacted VIZIO for help and support during the first week of a "Stay home" order of the COVID19 crisis. They concluded a repair was needed but were unable to tell me when I could get a working set.

It dawned on me, "like the sun setting on a beautiful day turning into the scary darkness and isolation it will become", that I will be without a TV for the duration of the "Stay home" order which currently is a minimum of 30 days but undetermined at this time. I am predicting that I will have a 1 or 2 month gap I can call useful for a product I feel I need and now cannot afford to replace. I am sorry for the drama I've incorporated into this review but I felt that I needed to paint a picture for the consumers who are considering a purchase from VIZIO. My conclusion: "I feel as if the company is using a targeted business model to get a profitable numbers game for show and tell day and ultimately the consumer who will be stuck with a product that no longer works."

I bought this TV brand new. Not even a year into owning it the TV would do one or all of the following:

-freeze,
-glitch,
-not turn on,
-show a blank screen,
-crash,
-not connect to the WiFi,

-not function as in buttons on the tv itself or remote,

and that is just a handful of the things! It took 6 times calling them to finally get a famous "refurbished" tv sent out to me since mine obviously was under warranty. This one now is doing the same exact thing as the original! So again with the phone calls, they were going to send me a "brand new" one but had to put a hold on MY card which I believe is not right. Never buying this brand again. The rest of my TVs have always worked as well as all my internet devices.

From the start, it has moved slower than a PC from 1992. By the time Netflix or Hulu or another app loads, you’re lucky if you still have the desire to even watch anything or even luckier if you’re even still awake. Then once you’re able play something, the apps 8 times out of 10 quit unexpectedly or freeze up. I genuinely have aged so much from the amount of stress I’ve gone through trying to use this TV that buying a new one doesn’t make any sense because I’ll be dead from stress by then. I truly curse the day this tv came into my life and fantasize about the day I can take a sledge hammer to it which is now on my bucket list. Better get to it before it’s too late!

I bought a 55” 4K TV at Best Buy from Vizio in August of 2015. I have a total black screen. Did all the troubleshooting online... Called Vizio and redid the trouble shooting. At the end I was told by the rep the TV ran it’s life and there is nothing they can or will do. I have 4 other flat screens in the house 2 Samsung’s both over 12 years old and 2 Panasonics. 1 is 14 years old and the other 11. Vizio TVs are garbage and the company won’t stand behind their product! Buy anything but their product to get your money worth! Their TVs won’t even make it 5 years when every other TV lasts 15 plus years!!!

I purchased a tv in June 2019 and the television began to malfunction in February 2020. It took forever to get in contact with Vizio to get a straight answer on what they will do for us! I constantly had to keep calling them as they never called me when they claimed they would! An on site swap was set up to get the same tv and within 24 hours that new tv stopped working!!! Completely different problems from the old tv!

Vizio then offered me a swap with a tv that was priced at $130 less than what I originally paid for and less HDMI ports but neglected to inform me of this. I had to research the make and model! When I called back and refused this I was told I would be contacted on 24-48 hours for a warranty refund! I was never contacted again and I had to call once again! My receipt was misplaced and had to keep retelling my story!

Needless to say I was finally informed it would take 4-6 weeks for a warranty if it is approved because Vizio doesn't generally offer warranty refunds! Needless to say I would be without a tv as they would come pick up my $800 tv and I have to rely on a third party company to pick it up from my home and wait for it to be sent to Vizio and received And wait for a check to be issued!

$800 is a lot of money to have tied up and if the tv is being picked up a check should be issued then! Not to mention when the on site swap was set up there was so many miscommunications because Vizio had the wrong address and failed to correct my address even after informing them on two occasions the address was wrong! Vizio also set up the date for the on site swap and never relayed that information to me and I have a company calling me while I'm at work saying they were here at my house for the tv swap and provided me with the address they were at and it was the wrong address! Worse customer service around!

Tv stopped working wihin 3 months of purchase. Tv stopped working. Alejandro, the service person, not helpful, not clear. Have to wait 2 weeks to prove the remote is not the problem and then they will figure out a potential fix. If that doesn't work, there is no solution. So I am stuck with no tv, no guarantee of a fix and no recourse.

Purchased this small 24’ D series tv from my local Walmart in December for my upcoming deployment. Watching TV and exactly half the screen goes discolored. Talk to customer support and they say they can’t do anything for me since I’m out of the US/Canada. I offer to pay for additional shipping but nope, I’m out of luck. I ask to talk to a supervisor and I guess the supervisor is too good to talk to me? It’s a shame but I’ll never purchase another Vizio product. TV is within warranty and suffers from a manufacturer defect per the service rep I talked to. If it was on me, I’d eat it. The TV went out on its own. Never again.

We purchased this t.v. brand new from Walmart on Super Bowl weekend 2020. It was defective. The Screen had black blotches and lines running through it. There were no visible cracks or damage so it was definitely internal. We’ve had good experiences with Vizio in the past, not sure what’s going on with their smart t.v. We decided to exchange it for another brand.

Just be forewarned - that Vizio does NOT support the Disney Plus app in any way! If you have a Vizio TV you can't watch Disney. You can, do a work around - you can cast it using your cell phone (but I personally find that hilarious and offensive that my cell phone can get Disney but my Smart TV can't - or actually WON'T for that matter!!!). The bottom line here...is I guess Vizio and Disney are busy arguing over how much of a cut in the Disney Profits is Vizio going to get...and until that happens...there is no APP for Disney available on your Vizio Smart TV.

I'm not sure when or how that happened - where TVs start getting a cut of the broadcast - use to you just used your TV to watch whatever you wanted. But now, it apparently depends upon WHICH brand of TV you have as to what you can actually watch! AND - in typical Vizio fashion, they continue to set the bar on poor customer service. If you call and ask Vizio about this - they have absolutely NO IDEA - when this might be available. They understand their customers would like to be able to watch Disney on their TVs but until they get their cut - they don't care!!!!

The Vizio Smart TV is never useful. Almost every day, it kept on lagging, mostly saying that smartcast is not available and the channels won't come on from it. Sometimes it updates and freezes for no reason. The Vizio Smart TV is not Smart, it should be called the Vizio Dumb TV and stop scamming people.

Bought it at Costco and Vizio sent a repair person and he deemed it unrepairable. They sent a replacement and that is just as bad. APPS do not all work. Filmrise, Vudu freeze and quit. I have never been able to watch a free movie without many stops and starts. This is technology at its worst. I only paid $199 for it and it is useless. If I use Roku it is better, but another TV brand that I have works perfectly. I am trying to get my money back. I have two of them which don't work. When you call customer service you get foreigners who you cannot understand.

Between my fiancée and I, we have owned 5 Vizio televisions. My first, a 47" that I picked up from Wal-mart 10 years ago, set the stage for a potentially life-long relationship. It was a higher end TV, but without the stigma that comes with brand names. A short time later, I was in need of television to act as both a computer monitor, and a television in my apartment bedroom. Once again, Vizio pulled through with a dual-purpose television at a decent price. Within a year, I was travelling, and looked for another TV/monitor that was compact and easy to travel with. Vizio locked in my unwavering love on this third gem. All three of these are still working great!

In the recent past, my fiance was looking for a smart tv. Of course, I convinced her to go Vizio, since I'd had such great luck. Unfortunately, within a year, the TV would randomly shut off. It wasn't due to the remote, or a particular app. I had researched that many were having issues with temperature components, but I didn't look into it any further. We eventually replaced it with our current Vizio smart TV, thinking the last was a fluke. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be. The television we have now will give constant network errors on VUDU. We were informed by their technical support that it's a known issue and has something to do with the built in Chromecast in that model. I just purchased a large smart tv for our den, and am planning to go out tomorrow to pick up a replacement tv for upstairs. Neither will be Vizios.

I just bought this TV, got it set up and find out that I can not use smart cast because I live across the border in Mexico. And even if it did work I still could not use it, because I have to have a smart phone to "cast" to the TV. SO now I have to pack it and drive back across the border to return it to Costco! Will never buy another Vizio product again.

My dad ordered a Vizio refurbished speaker from Walmart.com & it stopped working properly. I called on behalf of him just to see if I could fix it myself, but was informed that it’s probably an internal error. Vizio themselves told me they could repair it for me after I submitted proof of purchase through email. I did so, & a day later, they sent me all the materials to send the speaker back completely free of charge. I sent it back & within 2 weeks, we have a new speaker that works flawlessly, completely free & hassle free as well. Couldn’t ask for more of a wonderful experience with customer service. Has been the best experience ever, actually. Thank you so much, Vizio! Now a lifelong customer!

My old man bought one for every damn room in the house and I hate every one of them. They ALL freeze up, sometimes you have to unplug them to get them to shut off. They made them so you plug the cord onto the back of the TV (why we can't just hardwire the damn things is beyond me) but every time they get unplugged you have to take the TV off the wall unless you are some kind of a magician. You can call for technical support but that doesn't fix anything, you just end up reset the TV to new and of course there goes anything you had stored, and I have yet to receive a check from Vizio from the big fat lawsuit they lost. By the time I get any money it'll be worth a third of its current value, and how do I know they aren't still doing the same crap they were doing? Why should I believe anything they say?

I bought my first vizio tv in 2005 and still have it in my kids room and it still works great. However since then I have purchased two 55 in Vizio SmartCast tvs. One of them a 4k and neither one made it to 3 years before they quit working. The first the screen got dark spots in all corners which I paid to get fixed because they said I was out of warranty and it last one more year before it quit reading the hdmi ports and got more dark spots. The second didn't even make it through three years before the dark spots started showing up on the TV and then a few months later the sound quit working. I called Vizio and asked them if this is what I should expect from their tvs and the reply was, "Sorry we don't guarantee how long a tv will work." I will not be buying Vizio tvs anymore.

If that was the case I’D WATCH My PHONE?! The company should make it clear that you CANNOT download any extra apps, other than what it comes with. And that you cannot use a Roku box. What a rip off! Would not purchase again. Buy Sanyo!

I have had this TV for 2 months. I have had to call IT support for it twice. First, I had to call because the (very cheap) remote would move throughout the apps on the home screen but would not select anything. The IT person at that time told me that it would be back to normal within the next 2 hours and that they weren't sure what the problem was in the same breath. Most recently, when Vizio did its own update on the TV, the picture is no longer centered on the screen. After rebooting twice and then unplugging for more than 5 minutes hoping that it would reset, the problem did not resolve. Total waste of money.

Extremely disappointed. I purchased a 70" Television in May, in the begining of November the volume went out completely, I called and got a service request, upon finding out the repair would take 3 weeks we needed to move the television as we were hosting Thanksgiving and needed a working one in the family room. The screen was damaged moving the television to a spare room. I was understanding that I broke the screen but customer service was very rude, even chuckling when I asked to speak with a supervisor. We chose Vizio because the one we owned previously lasted years. I will never purchase another Vizio television and would suggest finding a company that stands behind their brand and has some sense of compassion to customers.

Does not support Disney Plus or HBO. You have to buy Apple TV or Fire Stick to make it work properly. Picture is fine, but I would not classify it as a smart tv. I called asking for their help and they recommended I cast from my iPhone... So they know their own product is garbage. My next TV will be a Samsung or LG.

I bought my Vizio 60 in E601i A3E from Costco and had problems from the start. I would turn it off go to bed and it would turn its self on. It had problems starting. There was a recall on this TV but Vizio never notified me. It was made with defective parts and they new it. This part failed but now Vizio said I was too slow discovering their recall which I was never made aware of. I just found this recall today by accident. I am sure Vizio did this in a way to maximize their profits because they would have had to replace my TV with a new one according to the recall. I will never buy a Vizio product ever again. Purchased a new Samsung 75 in one black Friday.

I punched 65" Vizio TV from Costco 6 months ago for $1500.00 it stop working last night!!! (11/23/19). I called Vizio. After being on the phone for a longtime, per instructions from the rep, I turn on and off the TV. After going thru all the steps with the rep on the phone, the TV still didn't work. He said someone will call me in 5 business days to set an appointment for a technician to and see the TV in person. Because of the holidays it will take over two weeks to even get an appointment! This is totally unacceptable! the reason I purchased a 65"TV because I wanted to watch Football. By the time they fix my TV the Football season will be over!! I called Costco, the said the retune policy ended 90 days after the purchased date.

I spend almost 4 hours of my Sunday morning dealing with the reps and still got nothing in return! I will never recommend Vizio to anyone! The last thing I need in this holiday season to deal with TV problems!!! If I had an option to provide negative rating, it will be negative 10! This is the second time I had issues with Vizio TV. The first time it was over 10 years ago. Again, I punched the TV from Costco back then and I retuned it after not even 6-months. I thought the issues Vizio had 10 years ago, would have been resolved! Unfortunately not!!!!

I was very nervous when I requested a warranty replacement for my new TV based on complaints online. The TV I had was less than a year old and had developed red spots on the screen for some reason. I called them and told them the problem and the gentleman I spoke with simply sent me an email with a link to upload pictures of the problem. A few days later I called back and was informed that the request had been approved and I would be getting a replacement. The claim portal had stated that I would be getting a refurbished version of the same TV I had, which was fine since it was a year old almost already. To my surprise when it arrived it was a brand new TV! I was very happy with their customer service and it was painless to get a replacement. Whatever you may think about their TV's (I think they are great) their warranty department was great!

I bought my 65 inch Vizio led 4k less than 18 months ago from Wal-Mart. Unfortunately I didn't buy the 3 year extended warranty for a few hundred dollars thinking my tv should last about 4 years or more. I don't watch a lot of tv but still got the black death screen where all the picture goes out and volume still works. I should have known better as I had a 32 inch vizio do the same to me. I called customer service and was told they would give me $200 off on a new tv because the warranty ran out and it is unrepairable. This is absolutely the last vizio tv I ever buy.

The Vizio tv is a good tv if you have cut the cord with the cable company but be aware of two issues I have encountered in the month I have owned this tv. 1. You can not change the aspect ratio on anything you watch that is not coming through a coax or HDMI cable. This means that if you stream through Hulu or google play you run the risk of having the screen cut off in some of the content. Not that noticeable unless words happen to be on the screen say during news or opening credits. 2. firmware updates can affect performance. A recent update to enable Apple HomeKit disabled the built-in Chromecast feature which I purchased the tv for. As long as this is t the main tv in your home, I would recommend it as decent extra tv.

My dad bought me the cheap Vizio TV from Walmart. Worse TV ever. I’ve had nothing but issues with it from Day 1. It freezes all the time, so I have to restart/reboot it. Meaning unplug it & turn it back on. It’s very limited on what you can watch, app wise, and will not let me Comcast from my iPhone because it “doesn’t support that app”. If you need a tv for a kids room to connect a DVD player or game console, maybe. Otherwise DO NOT buy.

Brand new purchased as a gift from Best Buy store. Finally ready to use and frozen screen after tv said checking for updates. Waiting a week for contact from a technician. Haven't heard a word. A 500.00 new tv. Fresh out of box need repairing. I requested a refund but their policy is for technician to try and fix it. I don't care to have a new 500.00 tv fixed. I want another tv. Vizio TVs and their service suck. Do not recommend anyone to buy one.

We have purchased Vizio TV from Best buy on September 2018. It has just been a year and it stopped working. Unfortunately we did not buy the protection plan by thinking that TV should at least last for 4 to 5 years. We called the troubleshooters. They have tried their best. However final answer was to take it to Technician and have it repaired. First of all we have spent 5 hours on the phone with the help desk people. Then we went to Best buy and unfortunately, we could not get any help there. I had to buy a new TV right away and that was very expensive. I suggest not to buy Vizio product since they do not last too long. You will be wasting your money in a longer run. Thank you.
