    These ** banned my 7 year old son who has Autism for listening to his music while he was playing Fortnite & Roblox. We called several times and was told it is what it is and they can't change it. My son has been devastated crying every single day. He lost nearly $5000 plus in games and skins, "which is in theory" a crime of theft. If I were to steal or deprived someone of $5000 I'd be facing a felony conviction. But not Playstation. Then I find out it was the same Playstation investigator who targeted my disabled 7 year old son because of his choice of music, his gametag name, and race. To permanently ban a 7 year old Autistic child is shocking and Playstation should be banned in the US. I am starting a online movement against Playstation and their targeted investigations on YouTube "**", and Facebook. Please follow this review for updates.

    Horrible customer service!!! I felt rushed and that my concerns was of no value. Was pretty much told that there was nothing that they could do to help fix my issue because I was out of warranty (although there is a long documented history of the same issue HDMI port becoming lose) except pay and large amount to get it repaired with only a 90 day warranty for repairs. I think PS5 will be the last PlayStation console I purchase moving forward.

    PS suspended my account because I got no response on why I was sold a cheaper version of the game for 2 times the price. I have two PS5. I bought 2 games because you can’t just buy 2k one time. I got the edition that gives you VC. My bank didn’t listen and disputed the first charge on my main PS, it’s my secondary PS for my kids that was the issue. After downloading the 2k game on their console they had no VC like the $69 version and I paid $139. Now my account is suspended for 3 days after spending over $1000 in just a few months.

    My PlayStation account got hacked, credit card stolen and purchases of 900$ were done on the credit card. The hacker also changed my email address on the PS account. Now my account got suspended and they are asking for $90 payment for something I didn't purchase and they won't disclose what I'm paying for to get my account back. When I submitted a case the reply was, no fraud or scam shows on your account! Although I reported it directly on the day it happened. When I said I'm not paying for something a hacker did, they replied we can't refund you for a purchase made more than 14 days ago, I explained I'm not asking for refund I'm asking not to pay for something I didn't purchase, but no use. One agent ended chat because they couldn't handle my inquiries. No contact for head office or way to reach a supervisor.

    I have a charge through my PayPal account for Sony Interactive Entertainment $86.59. I called them to find out what it is for and to dispute the account and get a refund. They said without an ID or email I couldn't cancel it. I needed to dispute the charge with Paypal. I believe if you're going to charge my account for something you should be able to find it to tell me what it is and be able to cancel it without me having to dispute it through Paypal. Poor customer service.

    What a horrible experience. Every single time I have to jump through way too many hoops and then they make me do it again and again as it is a broken process that seems to be made to drive me nuts. I set up a device password, which I didn't want to do. And I couldn't copy paste so I had to write it down and then type it out on ps3. Then it tells me I have to do it again!!!! What! I really am about to just chuck all my PlayStations into recycle world. And this has been a problem for me for over 10 years. Every single time I log in (sometimes it might be 6 months), I have to go through it all again and the process itself is broken. Must be made by Satan himself!

    My younger sibling made a purchase on my account and I attempted to return it through my bank when I did not recognize the charges. But my account was suspended for the chargeback, and I’ve been trying to contact Playstation to try to unlock it without having to pay for a game I don’t want. They make it nearly impossible to reach them, there's no phone number or emails so you can message directly. You need to go through their stupid appeal system. I appealed my suspension, and they wrote back to me that I have to pay and purchase a 70 dollar voucher to recover my account. They gave me no further options to contact them regarding this, even the appeal section does not have the option to submit another appeal. I have hundreds of dollars spent on that Playstation account that’s all going to waste currently and it’s turned out to be incredibly disappointing how money hungry and unhelpful this company is. Gonna switch to Xbox

    Refund policy is a bust. An accidental purchase happened on my PlayStation account, and I reached out to support right away. Instead of helping, they just kept saying “sorry, nothing we can do” and sent me to their refund policy over and over.

    If I could leave zero stars I would. I called PlayStation customer service requesting a refund for a game that I was unable to play on my PlayStation five. I was refused a refund and when asked to speak to a customer service supervisor was hung up on. I called back on two separate occasions after that to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on another two times. Based on this, I have canceled my PlayStation membership and returned my PlayStation five console to the place that I purchased it from. I strongly suggest anyone purchasing a PlayStation five console to reconsider.

    Horrible AI customer service and they made the PlayStation 5 white for no reason other than just to be doing something different and all they did was upset people. I guess the next PlayStation will be pink with flowers because that's what users who buy the PlayStation clearly wanted.🙄 Another ignorant corporate executive decision who doesn't have common sense.

    If I could give PlayStation support a 0 I would. I received a $25 gift card with an activation receipt. 2 of the scratch off numbers were destroyed, so I called support. They said they’d escalate and asked for the receipt and pictures of the card. After 2 days they emailed that I needed to take the card back to the store. I called back and explained you can’t do that which is why you have an activation receipt. They again told me to send the information again only to tell me to go to the store it was purchased from. I called a 3rd time, asked for a supervisor, and they said we’ve done all we can. They refused to put a supervisor on and disconnected.

    The connection was terrible, the service reps were hard to understand and were clearly reading scripts. Also the service rep I spoke with had someone else telling her what to say. I’ve received bad customer service before but nothing like this. One other time this happened with a gift card, with another company, and supervisor took the activation receipt and credited the money. Even finding customer service’s number with PlayStation is an obstacle. Reconsider doing any business with Sony, if it can be avoided.

    The game descriptions are misleading. Bought a game description said some online services not available without a subscription. Turns out you can not even play the game without subscription. Their response is, "I'm sorry this is not the outcome you would like." Then they disconnect. Absolutely garbage.

    Writing this about Sony’s Support in specific. They locked me out of my PlayStation account without warning, and it was connected to my old school email. Support rushed through the conversation with me and then hung up on me without helping me get back into my account. 👍

    If I could give Sony a 0 for customer services I would. They are very rude, very ignorant & very unprofessional. The agents never have the answers for any questions. They seem to only hire people who can barely speak English and can’t understand it well either. I can not believe Sony I has such crappy customer service as much as people spend on their products.     I had a ps5 for 3yr. I went through 6 controllers. These controllers are crap. They last 3 to 4 months. Then the controller want to do it on thing. Whatever I do. These controllers will not let me handle my characters correctly. Something needs to be done. I should’ve to keep buying controllers every 3 to 4 months.

    I recently tried to get a refund for a game that was purchased less than 14 days ago. I followed and answered each question they asked me as nice as possible. I used to do live chat so I get it. But then I was told that I wasn't going to get a refund and that a higher up had to review. I was like okay, that fine. I asked for a reference number, the agent gave it and then ended the chat without me even saying I was done.

    Second time they told me it was because I had too many hours on the game or that it was passed 14 days. Neither were true because my brother got a refund and he spent more hours than me. I asked how is this possible when I haven't reached either of those thresholds, they said they can't help and threatened to end the chat (which they did). Third time same issue, but was at least given a reference number but when I asked what the time frame was to be contacted back about the escalation, they said there wasn't one. It would just be reviewed whenever they got to it. Asked to be emailed this info, they said they would and didn't. Honestly, I have never tried getting a refund before and as a customer who has been spending money with PS for years this has been the most awful customer service experience ever.

    I waited 45-55 minutes online in the queue to connect with a representative to receive help accessing my account that I haven’t used in years. Then, so that they can “verify” I’m me they ask the most dumb questions like “what’s the serial number of the first product you used when you made your account” and “what’s the transaction ID for your last purchase.” What if I don’t have the same console?? I just explained I haven’t used my account in years, you think I’m gonna have the last receipt I was emailed yearsss ago???

    Still, I provided the serial number on my PS4 but apparently that was wrong so I provided another number on the console and that was wrong too. So THEN the rep says “sorry you failed the two ways to verify your account so I can’t help you. Please try again another day” and KICKS ME OUT of the chat. All that time wasted. It’s a freaking PlayStation account not the social security administration and they don’t even ask for that much. What a waste of time.

    To be the company they are, they treat their customers very badly. Trying to reach them is like trying to reach the moon. They advertise their customer support as if it's accessible, however that's nearly impossible and has been a thorn in a lot of users' sides upon research, and the fact it's still this way indicates that enough of us aren't maybe taking enough action or the proper action. Petitions for collective customer withdrawing is definitely in order! Never been an Xbox person, but they're looking real good right about now, and maybe they care enough about their customers to actually lend a helping hand instead of using that hand and take, take, take!

    Avoid PlayStation folks. They sell your per. I'm moving to PC gaming. PlayStation is a toxic company owned by toxic people trying to regulate free speech by taking away games I've paid for... I didn't know I need another parent in my life to defend myself from the big bad "online gamers"... PLUS my personal data has been stolen TWICE! PLAYSTATION is a very greedy and destructive company that needs to be abandoned immediately. I'm even to the point of selling all Japan made items as well.     This service has been absolutely ridiculous with no resolution and support ending contact randomly when they know I've spent so much and won't refund what hasn't loaded ever. Nothing. Horrible customer service. They have continued to ruin many gifts for a child. Hopes that he can use purchased items with no luck and no support or resolution. No help. Rude and not recommended.

    PlayStation is the biggest joke of a company. Downloaded a co-op game that’s advertised for online play - only it doesn’t have online capabilities. I contacted them to refund me as I am unable to play the game solo and was told “no it’s already been downloaded.” Then had three different “customer service” agents hang up on me when I wasn’t even being rude, or using profanity. I simply wanted the situation resolved due false advertising. I feel sick to my stomach wasting 80$ on a game that I cannot play and they just pocketed my money like it’s nothing because they can get away with it as a big company. The first issue I’ve had with PlayStation since 1999 and it’s left such a horrible taste in my mouth. No longer going to be loyal to this company after something that was such a simple fix.

    Very horrible customer service, sent my ps5 controller to MTC for repair, as directed by Sony, they sent me back a refurbished controller that doesn't work, I paid $25 dollars shipping to send my original controller that was still under warranty, called MTC and they told me there's nothing they can do for me, that I need to deal with PlayStation, when it was there repair as they subcontract from Sony. So bottom line MTC sent me a replacement controller that doesn't work and won't take accountability. I was also told from sony to send this controller back to MTC I need to pay another $25 in shipping. So bottomline it doesn't pay to get extended warranty from sony due to the fact that MTC is not an accountable subcontractor.

    I have been falsely suspended for 1 week due to PSN messages added by random people via Group Chats that I am unaware about yesterday without any email or a proper reason why i was temporarily suspended. Despite having my settings on Friends Only. I still keep getting added to those group chats due to glitches and bugs on PlayStation Side. I spoke to a agent just today and they aren't cooperating and finding a solution for this temporarily suspension I have. I will not be happy with their services if this is how they treat customers like me! I would suggest that in their servers to properly do changes in message settings where users are not added by strangers in random group chats they don't know or over review the report properly!

    Last year they stole money from my account when I DID NOT purchased anything! Over the weekend they tried again! I bought games from them. Never got the game but you sure as hell can take my money. People please call the fraud hotline if they are refusing to give you your refund back as well as stealing your money **. Theifs.     PlayStation is at the bottom with customer help when it comes to issues with anything PlayStation… I have been logged out of my app for the third time because PlayStation doesn’t send emails or verification codes. So once that happens you have to sit and wait till they respond a week later. I’ve taken all the correct steps then once you get to the end of the “bots” helping it send you a message saying they're not open till 12 eastern time then they don’t respond for days/weeks later. But charge my bill on time. PlayStation do better.

    I have been a Sony customer for 30 years now and I have never had an issue until recently. I downloaded free content from the PlayStation store and was charged for attached content. I was not notified of this purchase and had to find out through my bank that the charge was made but it was past the allotted refund period. They would not refund me and so the bank refunded me when presented with the reasoning and evidence of lack of notification on PS Stores end. Their response was to ban my account completely and force me to pay the money back to unlock my account with all my paid content on it, essentially forcing me to purchase this content holding my account hostage. The simple fix of refunding me and taking the content back has now become a ransom and I am absolutely disgusted with Sony and at this point... I may never purchase another Sony product again. Hope the $60 dollars you stole was worth it.

    PlayStation 5 was $500 plus tax. The HDMI cord area broke twice. Each time we had it fixed it cost $250. I called Sony and they do not care about their products and do not stand by their products. This was out of warranty so they were zero help. I could’ve bought an entire new system for the rip off price of $500. Very disappointed.

    Sony has consistently proven to be a disappointment when it comes to customer service. Their support is practically non-existent, with long response times and a lack of any real solutions. It feels as though they don't prioritize their customers at all. Getting information on outages is nearly impossible, as they either offer vague answers or no answers at all. Their communication history is riddled with confusion and misdirection, and any attempt to reach out for help results in frustration.     If you want to get a great console, from a company that has no interest in providing quality customer service, Sony is your brand. Want to pay for online service that nearly every game requires, just for the service to be down leaving you with a $500 paper weight, sony is for you.     I am Canadian and I am so upset that I'm leaving a review. Like everyone, I'm upset that PSN is down. I understand things happen, but no communication from them about what is happening is not acceptable. No response, no updates, just a blanket notification on their platforms. People spend hard earned $ to use this on subscriptions and fees. Some respect should be given.

    Sony, a multi billion dollar corporation that is international, doesn't take accountability for screwing up. They lie to their customers and make mediocre products at best. Instead of keeping their customers informed about the status of their network they stay quiet. It's abysmal and disheartening for someone who has been such a supporter of their goods for 20 + years.

    RATED 0! I have been trying to reach PS Customer service Since Dec.26th with no success! My daughter accidentally purchased a year subscription for ps+. She cancelled it right away. I have tried the Playstation virtual chat but it doesn't understand my requests. I have called the PS customer service number within the hours the chat said it was open around 50 times. Every time I am greeted with a recording stating that they are closed. I have also tried to contact Sony Canada with no success! They give you 14 day window to request a refund however a month later I am still unable to make contact! Sony PS is scamming people out of their money buy refusing contact. As if they don't make enough money. Pathetic and greedy! I will not be buying any Sony products from here on in.

    Save your money and go with a Xbox PlayStation used to be better in my opinion but now PlayStation are going in the dumpster. They raised their prices to be able to play online from 50 bucks a year to over 180 dollars. If you want the full online experience. Xbox hasn’t raised their prices plus you get access to a gaming catalogue you can play for free. My PS4 sounds like a rocket ship taking off and my Xbox one is has quiet as the day I got it. PlayStation has no good exclusive games now anyway. Not to mention their gaming catalogue is pathetic with the games it offers.

    Firstly, the PS5 doesn't come with enough memory to load games on. You have to spend additional $400/$800 for a memory card. I've had to send this console into Playstation repairs 3 times and the VR2 twice, each time they've charged me $250 a pop for the repairs and after getting it back from their repair shop the last time, it no longer recognizes this memory card and Playstation refuses to do anything about it. So my son can't even play a single game on it now. We have a $2,000 paper weight and Sony refuses to do anything about it. The new PS5, the VR2, and the accessories purchased have all been a nightmare.

    I had received a notice of fraudulent activity with my card via my banking institution. Turns out they had accessed my information through my PSN account. At this time I had taken the necessary steps to prevent any further transactions from taking place through my banking institution and recover the amount that was stolen. Upon turning on my PlayStation some weeks later, I noticed I was logged out and unable to access my account, thus unable to play anything. Initially I thought that whomever had tried to steal my money had also stolen my account.

    However, after waiting in the 20-30 minute customer service queue I was informed that my account had been suspended due to one of the successfully stolen charges, in the amount of $284, that my bank had reversed from said unauthorized transactions had now made me indebted to PlayStation. So, unless I paid them the $284, I would never receive my account back and they refused to escalate/entertain an alternative. Quite frankly, I am furious. This is a prime example of corporate greed taking precedence over the loyalty of customers that have literally built their empire.

    I contacted them 2 months ago to cancel all of my subscriptions as I never use my PlayStation. They canceled my online subscription but left my ea subscription. 2 months later I'm charged for another subscription that I'm told they won't be refunding as it's reoccurring. When I called in November I confirmed I wanted everything unsubscribed, guess one was missed so I have now been informed I will not get a refund. They have forced me to pay for a year of something I'm completely unable to use. Thanks Sony!

    I have had a Playstation since they first came out. My account got hacked in April. I had to cancel my cc that was connected to my PSN. My account has been locked since. Finally able to get someone on the phone and they because I can't confirm a cc number that's been gone for months now they can't do anything and hung up on me. This is the second account that I have lost all of my games to. Stay away from this company.

    If you're smart you will never buy another Playstation. Your cc info will get thrown out there and eventually they will ban your account unless you paid for the games the hacker tried to buy after they got your info because of Sony's data breach. And they will freeze your account until it's paid. They are scum. Don't give them your money.

    Sony has become a disgusting company. I hope they go bankrupt soon and no one from the gaming community will support them. This will be the answer to such a piggish attitude towards players. This terrible registration system that you have to buy games three times to play on different devices and in a different language. Have five accounts to be able to choose languages. And this subscription is just a joke. They don't give anything away, they just give it away to be online. I'm switching to Xbox and I recommend it to everyone.     Playstation Plus prices are just outrageous now. Most of the games on Premium suck and the ones that are decent are certainly not worth the cost of over $100 a year. Really you're playing to pay online but even the cheapest option is still ridiculous especially when you compare it to the prices of Nintendo switch & Xbox. I enjoy games like Helldivers 2 & Baulders Gate 3, but shouldn't have to keep paying higher prices for something that was once free

    So I set up a child profile for my son on PS5. I used my wife's email address as it would not let me use mine as I used my email to set up the user account. I thought this would allow me to be able to play two player with my son on fortnight but no. To play two player I need to set up a new user. In order to set up a new user I wanted to use my wife's email address but to do so I wanted to delete the child profile that I had set up. Presumably I cannot as I was honest and used my son's actual birth date. He is almost nine. What I have learned I will not be able to delete his profile until he is an adult, presumably 18. I have a real problem with Sony having more control of the profiles on MY console than I do. And I have a REAL problem with the fact that as a parent, I cannot use my email address to set up multiple child profiles. Do Sony want me to set up email addresses for my children, really!!! For a 9 and a 6 year old, NO!!!!

    Here’s a review you can use: I’m beyond disappointed with Sony’s return policy for digital content. I downloaded a game called Undisputed for $86, and it turned out to be completely disappointing. When I tried to get a refund, I learned Sony doesn’t allow returns for downloaded games, leaving me stuck with a terrible purchase. My advice: don’t buy digital games from Sony. Purchase all games from a physical store where you have real options if a game doesn’t meet your expectations. Their digital policy is simply unfair.

    The refund policy is the most ridiculous ever I spent. 43$ on UFC 5.     Playstation has a problem with the hdmi breaking because of cheap parts. Called around to get repaired. Every place said, "You are the 30th person this week that has called." Cost me 240 to replace then I get new system update that does not download no matter what troubleshooting they recommend. I would advise not to buy one.

    Worst video game system I've ever seen? I can't login if I don't have internet so if I move TV to bedroom etc. I can't even play a game. Their PS module hub for assistance is a joke. Nowhere does it show how to actually contact someone for assistance. PS network so easy to get hacked. They do nothing. Also can't watch a DVD. I mean PS2 is smarter and better for customers than a PS4. That is sad and shows PS just tries to get you to spend more money. They care nothing about customer. Switched to Xbox. 10-1 difference in customer support, value, easier to manage account and you have no shady issues to do basic things.     My account got hacked on the 7th of October, and after cancelling my card to avoid further charges being made on my PSN and having to wait to contact a Support Clerk, I was able to get everything taken care of on the 8th. Charge was refunded, EA Sports game that I did not purchase removed from my library, and email reverted back to the original Sign-In ID. I even was able to fix it to a more secure email and thought it was all done with.

    Unfortunately, I got an email notification on the 10th stating my Sign-In ID had been changed, unauthorized. I quickly contacted Sony's Support again to fix this, but after giving the information to prove I am the owner of the account, I was instead hit with a "I can't say any more due to security reasons" and was hung-up on. I called a second time and was told the account was "being under investigation", and when I requested to speak with a superior, not only was I declined from speaking with someone higher up, but I was done so multiple times. EXTREMELY SHADY AND SKETCHY. I then turned to the Online Chat feature, and after being told to simply make a brand new account (ignoring that I've had this PSN account since 2016 with possible $400+ worth of games on it by now), I was finally given a Case # after arguing my case AGAINST doing that.

    Since then, I've had radio silence from Sony and only thanks to a friend who follows me on PSN confirmed my ID name hadn't been changed, and that it showed me as being active some hours ago on the 13th when I haven't been able to sign on since the 10th... This has been the WORST and most stressful experience with a gaming company, and it just proves they do not want loyal customers, and no matter what games they might have that are exclusive to the PlayStation, I know for one that I will NEVER support another console they produce from hence forth.

    Sony basically just told me that if you play the game and lose and mad at a person you can report them to get suspended that is what happened to me. You see I have two accounts with Sony my first one I started in about 2006 my second one I started in about 2014 or 2015 they are saying it is because of my username but when you create a username with profanity or sexual content Sony would not let you create it so after 9:00 to 10 years of me having my secondary account this is what happens I get suspended for letting my cousin play around the game online

    Support is awful, account was hacked (because Sony makes it so easy, and do not verify email address changes). Their support / live chat kept telling me to go to UK support instead (the actors changed account region apparently). They closed chat after waiting an hour, each rep was incompetent and their phone lines were closed, meanwhile I’m getting billed for a bunch of games on Psn. I’ve given up with Sony and hopes for them to fix it, so going through small claims instead to recoup these fraud charges and all my own purchases- since they are all inaccessible now.

    Fraud. Waste of money and when it comes to their policy about downloading the game can't get a refund is just ridiculous. Can't test the game out to see if it works properly. Everyone know their games are never released fully completed. Always with bugs and glitches and when hundreds of people can't get a refund even if they say they will if the game is faulty before the 15 days is up the customer service is useless. Both online assistant and agent telephone agents are rude and just hang up. The owner should be locked up in jail like Martha Stewart. Whoever the owner is that made these policies is straight up fraud and robbery.

    Don't buy anymore game off of the Playstation play store. Just get the cd version. I purchase Modern Warfare 3. It let me play the first mission but froze on the second mission. Call PlayStation customer service and they told me that I'm unable to get a refund since I played the game. Wow even though the game do not work I'm unable to get a refund so there's $80 down the drain. Never again.

    Sony customer service is the absolute worst ever. I have been trying to log in to a valid Sony account. I can not log in and the reset they emailed me was another epic failure. The biggest problem as I see it is there is no chat option. Seriously?? I am an old guy who's not very savvy but I know that these days everyone has a chat feature. Maybe it's because they suck soo soo much and they don't care about you. Unless you're spend a load of money on the newest system and the overpriced games you mean nothing to them. I've been a loyal customer since PS1 but maybe I should look into an xbox.

    I went to get a refund for my unused subscription the day the charge happened. I was unable to get a hold of any support team. I was also stuck in a circulating system on their website that never actually gave me a refund. I was forced to contact my bank and dispute the charge only to have PlayStation block my account and refuse to reactivate it saying I need to pay my debt to them. I have never been able to speak with a real person during any of this. Needless to say I will never be buying anything from them again. I was a customer since I was practically born, I loved playstation. But after 28 years, I am done giving money to a scam of a company.

    Not too bad if you want to replace the controller every six months at 85$+ per controller. I found my controller purchased with the console lasted about six months, so did the replacement. If you could service them yourself it wouldn’t be so bad but even with jeweler's screw drivers, special tools and and YouTube videos. I’m really blown away by not only the lack of quality but the total awareness of the problem. Are there any class action lawsuits open?

    My PlayStation account was hacked and my credit card was charged. I am disputing the charge but in the meantime when I log in I get a message 'This account is permanently suspended from PlayStation Network due to violations of the PlayStation Network Terms of Service and User Agreement.' You would think a billion-dollar company would have more accurate messages. I was hacked on their site but I had network violations?? I've spent thousands with this company and disputing under a hundred but I violated the terms of service... ridiculous.     My son’s PlayStation account was permanently banned for a charge back according to PlayStation. I have no idea what charge back they are referring to and I have reached out to them numerous times without ever being able to talk to anyone and without anyone from PlayStation ever returning communication and I have no idea what to do. My son has had this account for about 6 years and I have spent thousands of dollars on this account only to have this happen and my son is so sad with how they just shut his account down for no reason. They have the worst customer service. I was just looking at all the negative reviews on Trust pilot as well and no one from PlayStation even responds to the comments. It’s like they don’t care because people seem to just continue to support them.

    I am warning you in advance to not purchase their products because if you ever have an issue it will not get resolved. This happened several times over the years where they’ve just shut down my son’s account and I was able to talk with someone before but it was not easy getting through and we resolved the issues but it took at least a month but for whatever reason because they have permanently suspended his account. They will not communicate with me at all and that is not how you should conduct business.

    I had 7 unauthorized charges to my 2 debit cards accounts. Sony ps customer service would do nothing to resolve my issue and would not refund any of the duplicate charges. I would not recommend anyone using their machines or buy games. Said these purchases were made from inside a GTA game at 92.38 each 6 times and one for 146.72. Now I'm out 701.00 from these ridiculous overcharges. No reason, this should have happened and they do NOTHING about it. I'm done with allowing my son to use their services. Also, I do have PlayStation Plus subscription but will be canceled immediately.

    I made a purchase in a game called “Genshin Impact”, the battle pass. I was doublecharged even though you can only purchase it once per month. This is where I went wrong; I did a chargeback instead of calling customer services first. Wasn’t really aware I could call them since I’ve never had to before. My account was suspended. To sum up my experience I was told to rectify the situation I had to close the case with the bank then request a refund properly with Sony; no problem until they received the money.

    My bank sent them back the money, but they refused to process it. 3 weeks later after being told on the phone verbatim “Sony has the power” by a representative my account was reinstated, but they took so long to process the funds it went past their 2 week refund policy. They didn’t even tell me there was a 2 week refund policy in any of the first 4 calls I had with them over the course of 3 weeks. During my final call with them for my refund not only did they tell me no, but they actually hung up on me. I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully by customer service support, and I plan to escalate the situation further.

    Updated on 4/1/2024: As my previous review stated that my account was permanently suspended for rectifying a double charge on my credit card when I purchased a game from PlayStation Network. But then my account came back and was able to play the game for several days then was permanently suspended again. I need to know from Sony the reason for the suspension when the issue was on their part. Watch out on your purchase. You guys are better off purchasing from other vendors.

When I disputed the transaction to my bank and they took off the duplicate amount, Sony permanently suspended my account and the games that I previously purchased are of no use since I don’t have an account with them anymore.     Call of Duty MW3: Known game software issues/problems. Both Activision and Playstation know about this, yet after numerous game software updates, the problems are uncorrected. Huge opportunity missed for what could have been a great updated game from MW2 circa 2009. Terrible disappointment and waste of both time and money. Activision is next to impossible to contact for customer service/support. Playstation is willing to take your money but refuses to step up in terms of taking any means of corrective action to properly address, correct, and resolve the issue(s). Possibly the last Activision game I will buy due to the aforementioned reasons. No, I would not buy this again.

    In the past, getting reasonably decent customer service from Sony Playstation was the norm, but it has drastically declined in recent years. It seems that all they are about now is taking your money. I tried to contact them in order to find info on my account renewal as I know it's near. They've added new security protocols. That alone are more hoops to jump through. But that's not the end of it.

    When the 2 step process has some glitch you try to contact them for help. All you get is the automated system which can only answer basic questions. None of which are relevant to the problem you have. So it tells you that you need to speak with an agent, which due to high amount of volume in calls is unavailable of course. Try again later. So you do and guess what? Same thing....Later again more of the same. In other words they are either getting a crap ton of problem calls which would indicate that their system has some serious issues, not enough staff, or what I feel, is that Sony doesn't give a crap about their customers. No surprise that when my subscription runs out it won't get renewed.

    After a year and six months, my PlayStation five have stop reading any disk whatsoever. When reviewing this problem on the Internet, I see that there are many of the same complaints. I contacted Sony. They told me I was out of warranty and that it would be $225 to repair the problem. I expressed my confusion over a known problem, costing me money and asked to have it escalated to a supervisor. I was told that again I was out of warranty, and therefore I could not speak to anybody else and the problem could not be escalated how does a company not stand behind a product that they have that clearly has a manufacturers issue if I were a kid and banging it around I would understand that things might break.

    Literally it’s been sitting on my same TV stand since I got it, and also the Internet is full of people with the same issue. When I spoke to the local repair company, they even told me that things have been changed inside of the PlayStation to rectify the problem at this point. I just don’t understand why if you knew it was a problem you don’t fix it.

    Among the few times I've been banned, recently banned indefinitely for reporting harassment, including our favorite racial slurs. Feels like theft all over again not to mention they're always recording and using my PS storage to do it. I TOOK SCREENSHOTS AND THEY DELETED THEM FROM MY CONSOLE.

    I am tired of my account being hacked. In the last 5 years my account was hacked about 4 times. Each time some games were purchased and I would call or reach out to PlayStation to get refunded and change password and resume my online experience. I was disappointed on how many times I have to change my password and how many time I was hacked. Like when I get hacked I have my debit card on file then I have to call my bank and get a new card etc..

    This time I was suspended after reported to playstation my account was hacked. They helped me get my account back after verifying who I was and 2 weeks later they suspended my account saying that I received the products and because I had to call my bank and report the fraudulent activity. I turned my debit card off. I'm tired of this. Playstation needs to do better. For now I'm done filing a complaint. I will go back to gaming on my computer unless playstation fix this situation. And also playstation should accommodate me for the ** their sad excuse for a security wall they have for us playstation users.

    Sony PlayStation decided to ban me for sending a screenshot to a guy on my team and saying you can’t even sell right. The guy sat in the paint tryin to get 3 secs every play. Time to switch systems. Sony has become to sensitive and I honestly don’t think they even have actual people who investigate any of this. There’s honestly no other explanation because I ain’t use no bad language or anything. Just said he couldn’t make us lose right. That’s Sony PlayStation for you. Take your money and ban you the first chance they get and try to get you to buy another account and spend more money. PlayStation is now in the garbage.

    PlayStation has lost their way. Beside going woke trying to get help is a joke. How old is his dots. You can’t talk to no one no more because you’re lazy. They don’t want to do their job and because of this I’m switching to Xbox. Sony needs to wake up. Stop being so woke and start learning how to conduct business. They need people to talk on the phone.     Sony has really become trash. It stems from their terrible systems and lack of customer service. They don’t know how to talk to people, and hire these want to be tough guys over the phone speak rudely. Their two step Authenticator is a disaster. My credit card starting getting hacked after I activated it and then won’t reps talk to you like you did something wrong. I am going to take legal action, I suggest you all look at small corporation claims that don’t even require a lawyer. If we all put a stop to them, we can take down their robbery of a conglomerate.

    Worse customer service EVERRRRRRR!!! I tried to get a refund so I could use my discount but the system did not work! I had to get it escalated just for them to wait until its 14 day policy passes, so they can refuse the refund! Scammers!!! Chat was up to 500 in line waiting on agent. I called and it hung up on me and said try later. I finally spoke with them but my discount was expired! I took screenshots and everything but they can’t do anything. They never know anything! Terrible company under Sony! I don’t know how to report a complaint or anything! Where is the corporate expert team members that can override things? Nowhere! They robbed me!!! Still haven’t refunded me even though it was under 14 days! They lie, lie, lie!!! Zero star it is for me!

    My PS5 controller joystick stopped working after only 2 years of normal use, which was unexpected given that my launch day PS4 controller is still in perfect working condition after 10 years. When I reached out to the hardware department via phone, George refused to provide an explanation as to why I couldn't pay for the repair myself. I escalated the issue to Chris, George's supervisor, but he gave me the same response. Later, when I tried the live chat, I finally received an answer, but the agent abruptly ended the chat while I was still typing my message. This has been the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered.

    This company is absurd. We have a two year old PS5 that will only show a black screen. We have tried all the things. I spoke with Sony and they said since it is past the one year warranty time, we have to pay $200 to send it back and get fixed. This is a MANUFACTURER'S ERROR. Why would I spend another $200 just to clearly have it break again since they are junk? Horrible company.

    I downloaded a faulty game from the store. The game is all over video gaming forums saying that the downloaded version has a known issue and that it crashes all the time. I got on the app with the chat bot, who connected me to a real person after 34 minutes. All the while, you have to keep your phone from going to sleep or the chat will close out. If you tilt your phone, the chat will close out. When I finally got a real person, then the real fun began. I explained about the game and that it’s a known issue. I told her I had tried it on both my PS4 and PS5 and that it has the same result, while every other game and every other function on both machines works perfectly fine.

    She asked for my PlayStation ID again even though I was signed into the app and had already provided it twice. She had already stated that this was all going to be related to the ID that I signed in with, but she asked for it again just to drag things out. So I provided it again. Then later in the chat she asked for it AGAIN!! But I’m jumping around a little bit. The first thing I had to do was restore my licenses and try the game. Still broken. Then she made me disable then re-enable online play. Still broken. Then she told me to uninstall the game and then re-install it. I told her that I had already been on for an hour and 10 minutes with this chat and that my phone was dying and that this was going to take forever. She told me had to try. So I uninstalled the game and began redownloading it.

    In the meantime, you have to type something every two minutes or it disconnects you. So I asked her, "Ok, say this game works once it’s finished downloading. What’s to say that it won’t start crashing again the next time I try and play it? Am I going to have to go through all of this again? Why should I have to go through all of this just to play a game that I paid good money for?" And then she disconnected the chat. After almost an hour and a half. I can’t even begin to describe my frustration. Worst company of all time, and I will never make another PS store purchase.

    Don't waste your time with PlayStation. They will screw up you and then you are dealing with them.... Took me over 60 separate calls until I got through to customer service last time (which was a charging error that was a screw up the store had with a release, not something I did)… And that was the easy part. Currently trying to get refund for them auto charging me for a PlayStation Plus subscription... I don't agree with auto charging but it was probably somewhere in the fine print that no one ever reads (otherwise you know you would be constantly reading agreements for every little thing you ever want to do online). But ok that's on me, I didn't cancel.

    Made the switch to Xbox months ago to try and get away form this garbage (FYI Xbox X Series has been a garbage experience as well). So here I am trying to get a refund after cancelling my subscription (which only needed me to jump 3 hoops... YAH!)… But now I want money back lol. The recommended contact method is a live chat that says there is an agent available all in the posted time frames of operation. Click on the available agent button and....nothing. Just a wait cursor for about a half hour. Just had my internet juiced so it's not that and everything else works.

    So now looking at more wasted time with a marathon call attempt session with me wondering if they will break their previous record for how many times I will have to call. My experience with PlayStation has soured me so much that I avoid Sony products in general now. The latest being a tv that I passed on and got a different brand. I would recommend that if you are not involved with this company then just save yourself your own time and frustration and go with one of their competitors. I will never willingly buy a product from this company again and for every minute they make me actively wait to resolve my issues with their abysmal customer service I will write and post negative feedback about their company and my experiences on the internet.

    I am just trying to chill out after brain surgery and logging into my new PS5/buying games through the store is harder than robbing a bank!!! Log in to your PS account and the next move you make it says you need to log in because you're logged out. Put in my correct Paypal password and they say it's wrong. I am in a hell loop of incompetent technology. WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS, PLAYSTATION?!!

    No warning, I caught a ban for my username that I’ve had for over a decade. Their “support” was a chatbot and I could not get through to a real person. The explanation I got was that my username has the word “wiener” in it. Once my PlayStation craps out I’m going over to Xbox.

    My mother's PSN was taken over by an unknown person. They made close to 500 in purchases between her card and mine. We're also able to switch her email. Contacted and they stated they can't verify identity so if she can't provide the information they deem eligible for verification she can open a new account. When asked about the hundreds of dollars she has spent on that account the question was ignored. When asked for location information of illegal purchases for police report that was ignores. I have only bought playstation since I bought my 2 and now I'm really considering taking all further gaming business elsewhere. I will wait and see if an actual person on the phone can rectify this situation but to be basically told, "Well I guess you're out all the money you have ever spent with us," like it's nothing. It's pure greed.

    They have no amount of customer service and give you the run around. The number anytime you call for a refund or help with a purchase says they are busy and hangs up on you. You can't get through. I was on hold on a chat online to because I purchased Assassins Creed Odyssey Gold and can't use one of the dlcs for it that I own. Making it difficult to finish the game. The chat crashed once and then while talking to someone became where I couldn't type a reply in the chat and I had to disconnect. When I tried to reconnect it says 'back so soon?" The chat isn't working for you and closes on me. They think their poop doesn't stink for sure and treat customers Like trash. I hope one day like Rome they will collapse for wronging people.

    I love video games. I have been a video gamer since 1989 when I was about 4 years old and my mother bought a Nintendo NES for my father. My parents were gamers and grew up in the 60's and 70's. They grew up with the release of the Atari 2600 in 1977 and Star Wars in 1978. I remember my first games being Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt, The Legend of Zelda, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Kid Icarus, Metroid and hundreds of other games. Nintendo really changed the meaning of video games and the way people interacted with video games was changed forevermore.

    It has been 34 years and I still play video games regularly. However I don't prefer Nintendo anymore. I fell in love with the Playstation when PS3 initially came out. The allure of adding trophies to games as an extra incentive to find every last secret, beat every boss, find every hidden item, etc... has been a great way to keep players engaged to the same game for a longer period of time.

    Now to the complaint of my topic. I'm not rich and even if I was I would still have to make choices between wanting a Playstation, an Xbox, or a Nintendo console. And with that you also have to choose which console you want online gaming for, that is, if online gaming is your thing. For me it depends. Games like Dark Souls for example is one of my favorite online playing experiences. You never know when another player might decide to invade your world and try to kill you. There's always a chance that you could summon a phantom to help you defeat the game and or any other players that try to take your life in game.

    I have a few big problems with Sony and how they market the Playstation brand. For one they don't like crossplay. I have friends that own Xbox and Nintendo consoles and prefer them over the others. I would like to play with them through crossplay but guess what? Sony HATES crossplay. Now my second problem is with Playstation Plus service. $60 a year minimum if you want to play online. It's just not worth it because of how long it takes to beat many games. Good games will usually take you between 20 and 100 or more hours to beat. Unless you are like me and have no life, or just have a lot of free time and choose to game, then you won't be getting the full $60 out of your experience.

    I was sitting at my computer eight months ago and someone was using my PayPal on my old PlayStation that I got rid of. Instead of contacting me they decided to permanently suspend my account which has fifty movies and over fifty games on that account over the last six years. When I told them to do whatever they didn't do anything so I contacted the Better Business Bureau when they call me back. They said there's nothing that they are gonna do that I should contact legal when I even offered to pay for it. I have mental disabilities and I can't deal with being that stressed for 6 months with no communication and losing thousands of dollars in games that I was going. To hand down to my children. And all of the movies that my wife and I have purchased over the last six years Are now. Gone? Forever due. To a hack? Job. And some lady hanging up. The phone? On me instead. Of doing her job and saying what can we do to fix it

    As an avid gamer, I enjoy the professionalism of companies dealing with complaints. However, sony is not one of them. I had to wait in a chat with a bot for 30+min to talk to a representative to tell me my recurring subscription is no longer applicable for a refund because it is past 14 days of purchase, although it's only been no more than 10 days. Along with that because it's a recurring subscription refunds aren't applicable because of its initial purchase date of years ago.

    I am frustrated with Sony because I no longer have my PlayStation and have paid for a year subscription that will not be used. Furthermore, I will be switching an Xbox/Microsoft as they are a much more responsive and respectful company that understands that $60 isn't the end of the world and would likely keep me as a customer. I was planning on using the money towards buying the new PlayStation 5. I will now be getting in my car and heading to the neared store for the new Xbox series x.     I bought a PS4 for a child that needed one as a gift. I downloaded some games for them and then I gave it to them. A year later I get a $59.99 charge on my Visa. There is literally no way to speak to anyone. I went into the account and see they billed me for a year's subscription. Another year? Totally unbelievable. I have a choice to either cancel the credit card or pay them. I went in and erased all my information. This is bad business practice. If you purchase this product or anything from them keep in mind you will never get a customer service rep. My advice is to not patronize this company. Maybe then they will provide acceptable service.

    I simply was supposed to have online access because I bought $300 shard and it clearly said with this purchase, "You won't need PlayStation Plus to go online with this particular game" and it's a lie. It works for a while then after covid I came back to the game after not playing it for 2 years. Now mind you before covid it was still playing with no PlayStation Plus required as they said but after covid, I think companies got desperate or something cause now all of a sudden is saying now I have to have PlayStation Plus to play that particular game. I called customer service. I was very nice, waited about an hour, got to the guy. He was ignorant and hung up on me. This not only ruins it for this game but this will make me never ever purchase anything far as gaming online again. I'm done with that.

    Bought a PS5 from the site, it came with broken CD drive. Sony did nothing to help. Made several attempts to call and ask for help. They provided false promises and did not follow through with anything. I've had enough. I lost 500-600 bucks and I'm tired of fighting for my refund. Buy at your own risk. If you wanna gamble your 500-600 bucks go for it. You might get a good PS5 or you might get something that is broken. Good luck with waiting for an hour on the phone and dealing with poor customer service via online. I had to Google what the telephone number was to reach Sony because they didn't have it readily available on their site. That was already a red flag.

    I purchased a PS5 for my husband on November 20, 2022. I received a shipping confirmation, tracking #, and the product was to be received by 9pm on the 22nd. When the package hadn't arrived, I logged into the UPS website to track and UPS now had a message stating they received the label from the seller but no product was received and I must contact PlayStation direct for additional information. I contacted playstation direct and was they had to do an investigation and someone would contact me within 1-2 business days, this never happened. On December 6, 2022, I received an email from Playstation direct stating my new console had shipped. On December 7th, I received the console. However, it was our anniversary and we were out of the country for a week. When we got back from our trip, I provided my husband with the gift. He hooked it up just to find that the item doesn't work, we kept receiving an error message.

    Was told by playstation experts, Gamestop, and other customers the system was likely "banned/bricked" by Playstation. Contacted them on Monday, December 17, 2022. I was told they had to do review and I would be contacted within 1-2 business days. Again, NEVER HAPPENED! It's now Thursday, December 22, and I hadn't heard a thing. Reached back out and spoke to a Nikki, who simply disregarded my concerns and then informed me that I must wait 5 business days for someone to contact me after they review my issue. She goes on to tell me they only ban the original console so this is most likely the one that was lost in transit the first time and they still sent it to me knowing they disable the console and it could NEVER be used and a new one MUST BE SENT OUT!

    Prior to Nikki, I had spoken to several others, one being a representative by the name of Danielle! Neither of them having any customer service touch, nor do they appear to care about the inconvenience their customers face after taking hundreds of their dollars! Not only do we have a console we cannot use but we also have games and controllers we can't return because of them being opened! I would NEVER RECOMMEND this company and encourage EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY!

    I recently order the Pulse 3D headset for the PS5 on Black Friday when it was $30 off. I could have ordered it from Amazon for the same price, but decided to order from Playstation Direct as I have other items in the past. Once the product shipped, it originally said it would be delivered on Tuesday November 29th. I was fine with this, even though if I would have ordered it from Amazon, I would have had the product on Monday, but that was not a big deal. On Tuesday I was notified that there was a delay and that it would arrive on Wednesday. On Wednesday I was told there was an error with my address and it would arrive on Thursday. (I do understand these are UPS issues, and not Playstation Direct issues, but I am getting to my concerns with Playstation Direct).

    I promptly contact UPS, as I confirmed the address was indeed correct and they basically confirmed my address and said somebody from the local dispatch would contact me shortly. 4 hours later I called back and they said somebody would call me shortly. 2 hours later I did receive a call and the girl said they accidently put the wrong sticker on the box and it got put in the wrong truck. She told me she would have the driver pull the package and I could pick it up after 7pm. I arrived at the facility at 7:30 and the woman I spoke with had paperwork sitting in front of her with my info and what was supposed to happen, but it turns out the driver went ahead and processed the package to Return to Shipper. Even though they had the package in the facility, they had already started this process and I couldn’t get my item. They told me I would have to contact the shipper to see what to do next.

    After digging around forever to find out how to even contact support for Playstation Direct, I realized the only option was to open a chat on their website. No phone number, no email, nothing else. I waited for 30 minutes before an agent was available to chat with and she was very helpful and understanding and started looking in to what could be done. At that point in time, I accidentally hit the back button on my phone and got disconnected from the chat.

    Frustrated with having to chat in the first place rather than speaking with somebody on the phone, I proceeded to open a new chat and put my information in again. The system literally came up and said “Hey there, back so soon?, it seems Chat has not been of help to you, please try again later.” So now all of my frustrations with UPS have shifted to the horrible experience of trying to get help from Playstation Direct. I proceeded to try starting a new chat for the next 30 minutes and it would not let me. I found another chat on the main Playstation page, so I tried there and got entered into the queue.

    Another 35 minutes go by and I finally get through to an agent and explain all over again what had happened. It even prompted me to note that I had been disconnected from another chat, so I was hoping they had a record of everything that I had already discussed. Nope, after my first message explaining what the problem was I got notified that “Playstation support is separate from direct.playstion.com support” and to go to their site for help…and the chat abruptly was ended. At that point I gave up for the evening.

    The next morning I went to start the whole process over again, but the chat was not going to be available until 11am. So I had to wait until then to try again. Signed on, only waited 10 minutes this time and got to speak with an agent. Again, no notes of my previous attempts anywhere, even though every time I had to start by giving them my account information. The agent proceeded to tell me that until they received the item back, they couldn’t start processing the new shipment.

    I let them know that I never even touched it and the tracking information clearly showed it was already on its way back, but I was told there was nothing they could do until it was back. Then they told me the new order would process within 10 business days and then be delivered in 1-2 business days. So now I am talking another 1-2 weeks to get the item. I ask if there are any other forms of support besides chat or if there is a way to escalate this to somebody, and I am told no. I ask if there is any kind of feedback survey or somebody that I can contact to complain about the poor customer service, and if I could get a copy of the chat transcript, and I am told that those would both be options after the chat ends.

    So the chat is ended and I see no options for either of these, but I luckily was able to at least grab screenshots of the conversation before closing it. So here I am now not knowing when I will actually receive the item or if anybody at Sony/Playstation really cares about how horrible their customer service is. I can tell you the next time I have the option, I will order from anywhere but Playstation to prevent further issues.

    Sony had a great Black Friday deal that was impossible to actually purchase. It clearly stated that we had until 11/29/2022 to purchase however when we tried that the deal was no longer existing. After getting ahold customer service which was also almost impossible to do, so waiting on hold for an hour. Then trying to get them to fix their mistake I was rudely told that Sony could not spare the 20 dollars and then was hung up on. Rather shoddy network at Sony made the purchase impossible and to be treated like garbage after owning everything they ever made and having PSN since its inception I feel they could and should do better.

    I had purchased a subscription and a game after getting PS4. I immediately had trouble finding the supposed "free games" you get with the subscription since I just had a new system that was all I wanted to do at first, and purchased a game online for $20. Immediately I could not download the game I purchased, I kept getting errors. And as far as the subscription I could not find any free games-only "demos". I tried contacting Playstation for a week and no one would call me back; an online form said "the form wasn't help to you, try again later" for days straight. It would reset in the morning and do the same thing after I tried to contact someone. No one called or emailed me back. Finally I went through Paypal to get a refund, and they didn't respond to them right away so I went through the Better Business Bureau.

    3 weeks later, after the opportunity to refund the subscription expired, Playstation called me and explained where to get the "free games" - only one was available so that was a lie-the other two were for higher level subcriptions. And I then tried for days to get that subscription refunded or figure out how to get other supposed free games and was told the date had passed for when I could get a refund. It passed because Playstation refused to answer or respond. Only with the help of the BBB was I able to get a refund for the game which I had purchased. I lost so much time and after asking for the refund through Paypal Playstation suspended my service so I couldn't even access it anymore. They are HORRIBLE.

    Sony, why do you think it’s a good idea to ban people for 7 days who message back a troll that was harassing us and spamming us with messages first? No warning or anything? Keep in mind I have never been banned before. I then went ahead and contacted support and it was horrible. How are you guys not able to do anything about this? I was already thinking about switching to Xbox and now this gives me a good reason to. Good job Sony, this is a great way to lose customers, at least issue a warning next time.

    Account / login credential recovery is an absolute disaster, after trying to reset my password by providing my account email many times, the so called "reset" email link was never sent to me. Despite getting the "green checkmark" confirmation on the reset page stating the reset link had been sent every time I attempted it. There is no way whatsoever to speak to an actual "human" regarding this problem, FYI, I had attempted the same thing about 4 months ago when I first encountered the same problem. Although Sony makes great consoles (I credit the design engineers NOT management), their customer service is horrible, it's as if they are purposely avoiding helping us out.

    Horrible experience is an understatement. Online support was complete trash but not nearly as terrible as the phone customer support. Scott and the alleged supervisor and account manager were completely discourteous, unknowable and unhelpful in providing accurate understandable information and solutions. My account had an alleged hole which I am not sure was true and they refused to remove it or transfer me to a competent higher manager that could resolve my issue with the card on my account. It was like talking to rude brick walls. I would never buy a PlayStation product knowing that the support is so very incompetent and useless. And the support line doesn’t even talk to you like you're human. One alleged account manager didn’t even know what Regions bank was…my experience was the exact same one as Kareem of Valley New York. If you look at their review here on this site, it is a 100% spot on match.

    I've always been a PlayStation fan. The PS2 & 3 were awesome in their time with online gaming available that was free! I remember bragging to XBOX players about how they had to pay to play and having to pay for internet of course. Then the PS4 was released and I was exceedingly happy that I was lucky enough to get my hands on one. That is until I got it home and set it up. I connected to our internet and I said WTF! I mean I took pride in the fact that PlayStation was always free to play online. With the PS4 they hit us with it being mandatory to pay for a subscription to play online. Not a greatness thing by no means. Overall I still consider PlayStation the absolute best in gaming consoles. PlayStation Plus has its perks as well with free games every month so I give them 4 stars.

    The PlayStation support via Phone and the chat on the support website is the worse I've EVER experienced. Both reps I've dealt with via the chat was rude and did not help me with my issue. My account was banned due to a charge back which was a misunderstanding with my bank. I paid my owed balance via Playstation store cards as requested and was told I would need to wait 24 hours for my account to be reinstated. I reached out to support after the 24 hours mark but was pretty much told I need to keep waiting. The rep offered no explanation as to timeframe as to when my account would be reinstated but was quick to end the chat. And of course when you try to leave feedback it immediately says "Thank you for your Feedback" even when none was given. PS5 is the Last Sony console I will purchase. No wonder almost everyone I know moved over to PC.

    I purchased a PS5 bundle that included the game. For the game you had to enter a code to download it. The voucher for the game had a place to scratch to reveal the code. Once scratched the words "Scratch Here for Pin #" were still there covering the code. Incredibly dumb mistake that apparently has happened a lot when I looked into it. Maybe fix that Sony? So I went to try to contact them and of course like most companies nowadays they make that as difficult as possible. So I waited to talk to a person. The first one immediately disconnected me saying I need to reset my password with no explanation. When I tried to open the chat again it said that apparently the chat couldn't help me and to try again tomorrow. How stupid is that? So I opened a private browser to get around that.

    The next person claimed there should be another code above the barcode. I explained to him I didn't buy the voucher for the game it was included in the bundle meaning it doesn't have a barcode. He was too dumb to understand this and blamed me for not understanding. So he claims that I will be sent an email. 48 hours later I still have no email. I try to contact them again and this person says the case is opened and I need to wait for an email. I asked her why in 2022 is it taking them so long to send an email. Which she sends back there is a queue and disconnects the chat before I can give a response. On all these interactions there was an option to give feedback on the chat. When the button for that is pressed...it gives you a screen that says thanks and doesn't allow you to rate. So I'm guessing it's all negative and they disabled. So not only is their customer service awful they also don't care on top of it.

I tried calling PlayStation and each time it tells me to call during normal business hours 9am to 4pm; IT IS WITHIN THOSE TIMES!? SO WHY IS NO ONE ANSWERING?! I guess they fired all the call center folk around covid or around the same time they created a tier for their online subscription. I been a PlayStation guy for a long time.     I have tried calling several times over a period of time to cancel auto renew membership because it wouldn't let me do it online. Can't talk to anyone till you get an ID number from a bot CS message first. Online it would say, "Acct hasnt changed try again later," after I click cancel... Huge run around and it then took 40 minutes for a live person, Telwinder C.S. person who told me I can't get refund on auto renew - I said funny I can't change it online either so how convenient for you. Unless you go through bot and long hold times you won't get any resolution to your problem.

    I had tried multiple other times to reach someone about these attempts on my daughter's card. I would get notices from the bank that PlayStation would try to charge my daughter's bank card every 2 days till she had enough money in there to pay $26.87! She is 15 years old. She would tell me that her bank was notifying her that a transaction had failed. Yeah because she doesnt have much money in her acct. I said why do you want to sign up again. She said she doesnt - she is busy with sports and school and has no time for gaming.

    So after looking into that I found out it was playstation trying and trying and trying to charge her! I then tried to login and I should have been able to switch it off online - I actually did try but it rejected it - said "Your acct hasnt changed try again later" !!! So today I asked who turned on auto pay and the manager Akfahay that I finally got to talk to said it always auto renew which is really crappy = I hate companies that do that.

    I have been a long time customer of Playstation and pay for a few of their services. Recently, I ordered a digital item for a game except it did not work or download after trying, actually, a few days before I requested a refund. Not long I received an email from Playstation saying my refund had been granted. Sure enough. About a week or so later I receive an email from Sony Playstation stating my account had been suspended for a chargeback. Later that day they send another email stating my account has been banned for the chargeback. The chargeback I was informed was my legitimate refund for a digital item for a game that would never download.

    So, I email, call, submit a request for help on Twitter, attach the confirmation of the refund to no avail. They never responded. And, wow, is it difficult to contact and communicate with such a huge company. It is arrogant for them to treat customers this way, as if they don't care if something is true or not, just click a banned button. Lazy. So, I'm giving them money via PlayStation Plus and another $24/ month. Of course, I have no choice but to cancel my membership and go to Xbox. Maybe they give a little d*mn about their customers.

    Horrible service for automatic renewal. No matter how many time you cancel your automatic renewal they’ll always find a way to steal your money. This is my 5th! Time calling them. This is utterly sad and horrible how they run things. They just steal your money and tell you they can’t do anything. Will never be purchasing from Sony again.     I tried to log into an old account I have with Sony Playstation and they will not help me. They ask for information on an account that I haven't used in years and expect people to remember that stuff! Ive tried contacting them 3 times today and not one customer service rep was able to help and closed the chat out on me by Vidal the 3rd attempt to get help! The girl on the first attempt was very helpful but the window was closed on accident and I could not get her back. The 2nd attempt with Jorge was the worst. He didnt even bother helping or try to, he just kept telling me he couldnt do this without this information I haven't know since I last played on Playstation!! All I want is my freaking accout back. How hard is that to do! No wonder they are losing all their customers to Xbox because xbox knows how to treat their players and not treat them like idiots, xbox helps keep customers not push them away!

    It’s absurd that your refund/ credit policy is based on whether content has already been played. I am sure there are customers who purchase and start games they have been looking forward to who experience a myriad of issues after playing It. PlayStation should have integrity enough to review what they put on their store for purchase. If a customer experiences critical issues with the material PS has listed in their store, they should be accountable for that. Otherwise, what purpose is there for any kind of support line? PlayStation refuses responsibility in any way and masks it behind “We can’t disclose information.” I had never contacted support for anything but figured this was a highly valid reason to just to be met with, “You already started it so you’re SOL.” Worst customer experience I’ve ever encountered.

    I purchased a $50 PlayStation store gift card, I went to redeem but got an error saying I already redeemed the card but I DID NOT. I provided my electronic receipt only to be told it's not valid, I then contacted the chat again for resolution only to be told nothing they can do. If the card was redeemed it would show in my transaction history which it doesn't. What can I do, and why would I have confidence in purchasing any more PlayStation gift cards moving forward?

    The Playstation Network has made it impossible to make payments via their console devices and now requires a third party service which creates added issues with services and payments. Also their family management service is broken and family members cannot be added, removed, change or elevated to accounts. Finally, their linkage between other applications and accounts makes it impossible to remove a link without destroying data on the other application and account. Support has no remedy for these issues and cannot seem to figure out how to open a defect case with the PSN engineering teams.

    Do NOT purchase a PlayStation membership unless you’re ABSOLUTELY sure you want to support this crappy company. I have all three major consoles and was recently charged for my PlayStation membership two days ago. I also purchased a slightly discounted annual membership on Christmas Day and was going to use that but PlayStation charged me without warning for my annual renewal. Called them to refund my charge from 2 days ago and they said they couldn’t because it’s their policy to not refund more than once and they refunded me 5 years ago in 2016. Also, their phone lines were off for Christmas when I tried to call and cancel my membership anyway. DO NOT USE AUTO RENEWAL.

    I no longer have access to my email. Aim is no longer in service so I can't access my PSN because I don't remember my password. I can't reset because email no longer exist. Customer service was rude. Failed to help me and basically said I'm out of luck. With the hundreds of dollars in games I've purchased due to a error of the email service I was using going under extremely dissatisfied and considering moving my service and my children's to Xbox.

    My son has had a PS account for the past 6 years. I have spent thousands of dollars on different disks and online games. He also was upgrading his account to PS Plus. Last year instead of buying a voucher I allowed him to renew his PS 4 plus using my PayPal account and he had not removed it from PS 4 account and year later two weeks ago PS decided to withdraw the money without authorisation. I had $80 disappearing from my account and after investing I found out what has happened. I contacted PayPal account to stop any transactions between my account and PS account of my son which is offered for free.

    Two weeks later PS permanently banned my son from accessing his free account for canceling subscription to PS Plus for which he had never signed. He has not committed any illegal activities he just forgotten to remove his parent PayPal account from his PS account. He had never used or pay for anything without gaining my permission until Sony decided to do it for him. I am disgusted with the values of Sony and PS. They are punishing 15 years old from allowing him access to free account only because his parent decided to cancel unauthorised access to her bank account.

    I wasted enough time checking occasionally for consoles over the last year. It has never, ever been in stock from any retailer. Except that it always is in stock, and you can buy one any time from a dirty scalper. Are you selling any software to the warehouses full of consoles waiting to be scalped. Why can't I buy direct. Why can't I order one. I need to time the drops and race order bots. Screw that, I have a life. I am officially done with all Sony products. Seeing as I had ps2, 3, 4 about 60 games each and 3 - 70" flat panels you're losing tons of future business. There are plenty of competitors this time around.

    So let me start by saying this, I have never once had a good experience working with anyone from Sony, this includes Playstation and Bravia. I always told myself I would never buy Sony products again because as usual, they are terrible and their CS is awful. First, let me start off with their policy on the 14-day money back. This is a blatant lie which I, unfortunately, have had to experience twice... First with a game that inconveniently went on sale the next day. Which was met with a super rude CS agent saying "LOL" in the chat. This was met with me never purchasing another digital product from them ever again.

    The most recent issue is with "AutoRenewOn" for PlayStation Plus. I have had this turned off every time I have ever purchased it as I always purchase it during Black Friday. The biggest issue is they renewed it and are arguing with me that it is turned on. I know full well it was turned off and can prove it. But they don't care. "Jimmy" the supervisor says that auto-renew is turned on automatically whenever a purchase for PSplus is made. Weirdly enough I am requested to turn it on in my settings (This was before Jaqueline "Turned it off"). Hmmm, interesting. I wouldn't have requested a refund if I couldn't prove it... but they don't care. They continued to provide automated responses because these children are basically bots with no knowledge of customer service and no training, clearly.

    It's a true shame, and I should've known better buying anything Sony. Learn from my mistakes, don't waste your time with an inferior console and a terrible company. They blatantly stole my money and can't be trusted.

    I bought a game on 11/8 and I cannot play it. I called them for a refund. Oliver told me that I had bought the game over 1 year ago. I told him that I had just bought it using PayPal and I will call PayPal to block it. He told me that if I call PayPal, they will ban my account. What the heck is this? I asked to speak with a supervisor whose name was Luis. Both Oliver E and his so called supervisor Luis D. hung up on the chart. Worse customer service ever. Very unprofessional.

    PlayStation Network has the worst customer service, they hang up on you and online is worse. I purchased COD point and they never sent them. I'm tired of this happening. The first time this occurred I ignored it, but the second time it ticked me off so I called and told them and they hung up on me. After they hung up on me I tried the online route but they was unsuccessful. They waited, stated, "We don't give refunds," then left the chat right after. I was trying to explain to them that I only wanted me COD points.

    Once I could not get them to send me my COD points, I contacted my bank then had pull the funds back because I never received the product. Shortly after my bank pulled the funds PSN Suspended my account after they stole from me. No, I did not learn my lesson because it just happen again. If you guessed PSN did it again then you're right.

    First I bought Gran Turismo 7 but l didn’t realize it was pre order. Went to web and waited 40 min and robot says, "We see you have been here a lot" and blocked me. I called PS and they hung up on me. I will never buy PlayStation. Never again. Those games are no less than $65 each. The games look way worse on PS5. It’s complete trash. I have gaming PC and PS5 and Xbox series. Everything looks better on all other systems other than this system controller is the only thing that’s great. It to be go it’s I saw Ratchet and Clank. After buying it it’s terrible looking. Man what a waste. Please please heed my warning. It’s a rip off. I am very sorry I ever waited in line for this hunk of garbage and its trash games. I really don’t want to be mean to a company I used to love but it’s over for me. Thanks for listening. Never again. I will not buy another game software subscription from this company!!

The idea of a company this big that offers little to no customer service for consumers is outrageous. I don’t know why I haven’t left the Sony brand until now.     Spoke to a representative John, who transferred me to a representative Dawn. Someone is reporting anything. I've written years ago, because I barely write any messages now, I just watch movies. The representative dawn grew frustrated because I had several questions and she HUNG UP ON ME. Questions such as, "what exactly did I say that was reported because I barely message anyone except real friends"; "could they be reporting a message from years ago because for 2 weeks I've only used the PlayStation to watch movies and playstation safety messages kept popping up." "Who can I speak to that can actually help me because I don't want to pay for something I can not use." "Who do I contact if someone is trying maliciously to get my account suspended".

    She answered NONE of these questions before hanging up on me. RUDE. Her only solution was that she's sorry that I feel the situation is unjust and I should use better language, once again an ACCUSATION of a behavior I'm explaining I haven't been doing. It's like police bringing you in for drinking but you haven't touched a drink in years, then they give you 7 days in jail because someone shows proof that you drank years ago, and they say, "well next time drink responsibly."

    When someone insults you through the PSN, and you defend yourself by insulting them back, you are suspended. May seem fair enough at first glance, or no great injustice (hey just don't insult them back, right). However you are paying for a PSN subscription and you can't cancel it, because you're suspended. And you can't contact anyone about it. PlayStation bizarrely has zero customer service. Just a fake facade that calls itself customer support but is really just an FAQ that will send you in circles on a wild goose chase with ultimately no customer support at the end of it. You can't contact anyone, not someone from India, no one at all. You can also serve your suspension, and then be suspended again when it's lifted for the same transgression that you've already been suspended for.

    The next suspension will be longer, because it is seen as a repeat offense even if it's the same one. It may even be the entire cycle of your subscription to playstation +, and you can't not pay, you can't even cancel the next payment, so they are literally robbing you of around 66 dollars. And again you have no way of complaining, no way of doing anything about it whatsoever, save for coming to "consumer affairs" out of desperation. I've been a loyal customer of Playstation since the mid 90s, for 25 odd years, I must have given them tens of thousands of dollars, probably 90% of that in the last 8 years as they have escalated their microtransactions and subscription fees and are generally just clawing for every penny every which way they can.

    Tens of thousands of dollars, decades of loyalty, and I can't even reach out to the company and say "hey there seems to be some kind of mistake and you are stealing from me, can you maybe look into that please?". No there's no recourse whatsoever, all I can do I guess is contact my bank and block Sony from stealing my money? Does that sound like an upstanding professional company or a 3rd world scamming operation? To make matters worse, sony has lost the rights to Bethesda games in the future, which means Starfield, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Doom, Dishonored, Prey... none of these games (THE biggest games) will be on playstation in the future. Playstation is finished in gaming. Playstation 5 will be their last console, and I strongly advise against purchasing it. I've always been loyal to playstation but they leave me no choice but to switch to Microsoft. They have made loyalty untenable and impossible. Don't buy a playstation, you will regret it.

I contacted PlayStation about it and they said they can’t give me a refund and I had the game for months!     On July 20, 2021 I was banned from my account for 7 days because PlayStation Network claimed that I uploaded content that was against their code of conduct and terms of service. The content that I uploaded was a thumbnail to a basketball game called NBA 2K 21 and it showed My Players characters. When I tried to call the phone number to PlayStation Network they kicked me off and I was forced to wait the 7 days until the ban lifted from my account. Today August 04, 2021 I was playing a game on my Playstation5 and I uploaded a ??? and pictures of cars from the game that I playing and immediately my account was banned again. PlayStation Network claimed that I violated the code of conduct and terms of service again. My account is now banned for 1 month.

    I tried calling the number for PlayStation Network and after I typed in my information my call was disconnected. So I decided to do a live chat with their customer service department. I explained to the customer service representative what happened and I asked him to explain to me how I violated their code of conduct. The representative responded by telling me that the ban couldn’t be lifted but he couldn’t tell me how I was in violation with PlayStation's code of conduct. My chat was immediately ended by the representative without him resolving my issue or explaining what I did wrong. I still can’t get through to anyone on the phone to find out how I violated their code of conduct.

    My picture was of a car and a question mark. I feel that if they are claiming that I am in violation then they should be able to tell me how I am in violation. With the amount of money that Sony makes you would think that their customer service would be a lot better. It just seems to me like PlayStation doesn’t care about their customers or resolving issues. My Playstation5 was a Christmas gift from my parents but now I wish that I would have asked for an X Box or something else.

    Sony Electronics needs to revisit their policies on recovering the account of a deceased spouse!!!! My late husband passed March 2017, and it's been hard for my children and I to find fun in the things we once enjoyed as a family, like gaming. But now we are in a more healing place, feeling ready to pick up the pieces but Sony is being incredibly insensitive! It's ridiculous what I've had to go through to recover my late husband's account for our surviving children, and STILL HAVE NOT RESOLVED THE ISSUE!!!!     My Playstation practically locked itself and I couldn’t access anything other than Safe Mode. I tried everything and nothing worked so I contacted Sony. Was told I’d get an e-mail but never got a response. Eventually I had to take the last resort without knowing if there was any way I could avoid it.     When ordering a recertified PS4 I ordered an extra controller and apparently ordered a controller for PS5 by accident. I have spent hours going round and round with support to simply get a refund or exchange. I waited an hour and ten minutes for a callback that gave me a number for PS Direct that was just a recording telling me to go to support which is where I'd come from. Disgusting. Will never buy from them again.

    Sony's Playstation 4 is a fantastic product. I have had the playstation 4 for 5 years now and I have bad no issues. The playstation 4, unlike the XBOX, is small enough making it easily transportable to different locations. The PS4 controllers are rechargeable, as depicted in the photo, so there is no need to go out and waste money on batteries.     They made it INCREDIBLY hard to just return the games I purchased by accident due to a software error on their part. After waiting over 30mins to talk to someone they said they would connect me to someone else but then disconnected. Tried chat and almost got there but then hit back by accident and of course, out of luck and can't connect to a new chat, just says "try again later." Another time talking to their "chat help bot" who gave me a link to start a return - came up as a 404 page, of course. So unprofessional. Look at a company like Amazon and how easy they make it to return. Sony have obviously made it DELIBERATELY difficult to do so even with strict rules in place.

Password recovery E-Mails, live chat, and even calling the support number. They did nothing to help. Because Sony did not help I have decided to switch to the Xbox for the time.     My PSN account got banned for being a bot account with no proof. I’ve had that account for years and spent hundreds, if not thousands on it. They won’t explain why I was banned and won’t issue a refund. I don’t even want the refund. I won’t ever get back the time I put into the games on that account. When I try to contact them about the issue, their live chat agent just disconnects me and I’m put on hold on the phone line, unable to reach them. Their customer service is absolute useless.

    I used to be a PlayStation fan until my account got hacked and I couldn’t use my account for a whole year because PlayStation wanna not show up to work because of corona. Xbox people set up working helping customers with tech support from home. I had a 2 year subscription with Playstation because they double charged my card and couldn’t issue a refund. Support said, "Well look at the bright side. You don't have to pay for Playstation network for the next 2 years." Yipppy!!. I couldn’t use my account for over a year because my account was hacked and the verification email was changed. I couldn’t get any help resetting my password and verifying by text that it was my account.

    I reached out to PlayStation via email/ facebook/ Instagram/ Twitter. Tech support from Twitter was actually very responsive in which gave me tech support line phone number and guided me through the steps and #’s I need to dial to reach the support I needed for my issue. It took me through a whole automated system telling me I need to send a password reset through my email or text and to do it through text dial 3. I dial 3 and the automated system says it could not complete and that I need to talk to someone directly. Puts me on hold. I hold and then I’m directed to a line that says Due to corona virus PlayStation Tech Support and all PlayStation employees are in a shut down. Afterwards it says that I can send a password reset to my Phone through text and to dial 3. I dial 3 and then it says that my reset cannot complete and I need to speak to someone directly and it forwards my call again. With the Corona story and them being in a shut down. Boy was I ready to pull my Damn hair out.

    I made a new account and started paying month to month. I added my old account as a friend and I could see it was showing online. Like someone was using the account. It showed that the hacker was playing on Call of duty. I added him in chat and and it sounded like some foreign kid. I challenged him to 1 v 1 on Call of duty and he did me dirty. Went straight ham on me and was just laughing talking in some other language. I was outraged. Haha for real. Feelings real hurt!!! High pitched voice kid doing me like this. I went out and bought me a Xbox that next DAAaay.

    I only shared this story with about 3 people. I don't count the other 388 people because they just kept walking passed me like they couldn’t hear me talking or something. Lol. Anyway A whole year and 2 months later I finally got ahold of someone at tech support and they simply verified my account with a text to my phone. I was beyond excited to get my account back with all my digital games. If any of you PlayStation fans purchased digital games you know how frustrated I was that I couldn’t get access to those games during that year. I was excited but I was also pissed off it took so long for me to finally get ahold of someone.

    I requested a refund for the year I had paid and the fact that I didn’t even have access to this account. Nope! No credits... No Free Month Subscription... N-O-T-H-I-N-G! They said, “We are sorry. We are happy we got your account recovered for you." Well that’s not good enough PlayStation. A year subscription is $65 dollars. I had 2 years because they double charged my card. I had more than 20 digital games that I could not access.

    My youngest will not convert to Xbox like me and my oldest. We love our Xbox’s. My youngest still buys his 3 month PlayStation subscriptions. And I realized today that PlayStation online works pretty smooth and lets you purchase games and add your debit card info for payments. But I noticed when it comes to removing those payment methods the website wants to act like it can’t load the page. Wow PlayStation. You are money scam artist at its finest. I have completely gave up on you and will not be using PlayStation anymore Ever again. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. DO NOT USE PLAYSTATION. THEY WILL ROB YOU!!!!

    My account info was stolen, I don’t know how. Basically the thief activated their PS4 as the primary on the account, thus gaining access to all my games. I quickly changed the password, setup 2-step verification, put a passcode on the account, etc. Here’s where customer service came in. Customer service is a stretch, considering they refuse to help in any way. Anyways, I needed to get the criminals PS4 deactivated, that was the only thing left. “Nope, sorry, you can only deactivate your devices once every 6 MONTHS.” They said I should try asking whoever the criminal is to deactivate it. Yeah, awesome, great suggestion.

    They repeatedly assured me that there was no problem, and I still had access to everything. This is NOT true. You only have access with an active internet connection. Because it has to verify the licenses, and can’t without internet. But hey “If you set this as your primary PS4, you can play offline!” Which just made me even more upset. They said that I had to wait the full 6 months, and as soon as I asked for it to be escalated, they just disconnected the chat. I wasn’t swearing or anything that you’d think would get a rep to disconnect. So if they don’t like where the conversation is headed, they just say sorry and leave. They won’t help their customers. They protect criminals. Oh add if you try to dispute any charges made, they’ll just ban the account outright. That’s right, even if a fraudulent charge is made, that’ll ban YOU if you try to dispute it.

    By the way, you’re only purchasing the licenses to games, so you don’t actually own them and believe me they make sure to take advantage of that. I will neither buy Sony products, or digital goods, again. It’s Xbox and physical copies from now on for me. I’m going to do a dispute anyways, despite the ban that will follow. At least he won’t be able to play the games either. And I don’t plan on giving them my money again, so.

    I hope everyone in the world reads this! Just spent $75 on gift card to PlayStation and my son used them in his account, not even a week later said account is hacked. Someone changed the password and turned on 2 step verification, but it was not us. We are unable to access this account, with my son's credit card info stored in it, all his purchases for the last ten years. Customer service continually disconnects me from the chat, even when I ask for a supervisor! No one is available on the telephone number provided, there is literally ZERO support for their accounts.

    BEWARE!! Whatever info you put in your PlayStation account is no longer yours and is no longer SAFE and you will not be helped by Sony in any way whatsoever. They will not even deactivate this account to protect our credit card information! They just refuse to engage in a discussion with us. Disconnecting us from the chat immediately! I might call the police and place a report tbh.

    I was a victim of cyber attack on my account in which the thief took all my son's savings Money from the card that I had on file, not only did Sony ban my account but I’m unable to play any games purchased through Sony. So 10+ years and gamer tag that holds sentimental value because of my fathers passing when I was younger down the drain. Contacted Sony on this matter and was told that specialist are taking care of it and that I will not be able to play the games I PAID FOR until they figure it out.... Now this is the good part. They will not reimburse me for the time loss for the investigation on this matter so it makes it seem they’re making me out to feel that their customers don’t mean anything to their multibillion dollar brand and we’re just another number.

    My account was hacked on 12/13/20. This was caught by my credit card when 12+ purchases on PS were submitted. I tried to contact PS and found that they have NO customer service online or by phone on Sundays. Ridiculous. One of the busiest days of the week and no support. I have been in touch 3 times and my account is still suspended. The first time, I thought I had it worked out because I had actually talked to a human. Whatever. Useless.     I am simply bewildered by the lack of Sony's customer support. After being a satisfied customer for 15 years, I can confidently say that I will no longer support the Sony Brand. After numerous attempts to communicate with Sony support, I am unable to communicate with a Sony representative with respect to downloadable content I'm not able to remove from my console. Their support line never answers phone calls; their website has you speaking to chatbots instead of human beings. If you are thinking of purchasing a Sony product, please consider that if you have any issues or concerns, there is a chance that you'll be left to figure them out on your own.

    It is impossible to contact the Playstation support. They ignore e-mails for days and the hotline kicks you out immediately after calling, claiming all lines are busy. Also the refund policy is outdated. If a product is not working you won't get a refund as soon as the product was downloaded. So to find out if a game or software is working you need to use your psychic powers to see the future and find out if you are going to experience a software error. In my case, my 5 months running pre-order was not downloaded but put in my library anyway. I can't download it nor play it. Sony won't refund it and they don't answer my support e-mails. They just scammed me off my 70 bucks and they'll get away with that. If you are into fraud, sony is the company to sign up.

    I have purchased several items from Sony, one day a hacker got a hold of my account and went out buying games through Playstation network, my bank noticed the unusual pattern of buying and notified me via text. I promptly answered NO to the question "do you recognized these transactions?" and the bank immediately and rightfully canceled my card and issued chargebacks to the transactions I answered NO to. 2 days later, Sony then blocked my access to all the games I have purchased before and after the incident. They cannot help you over the phone or chat once your account is blocked and the only recourse is through a webform which creates a ticket but I have never gotten an answer or resolution back.

    Never trust Sony security, don't put any personal or financial information into their system as it will get hacked and they will force you to cough up dough for any valid chargebacks you do and hold your account hostage. Their Customer Service is the worst, their "help system" is built more on to how to not contact them than to be able to contact them.

    My four year old son charged $500 to my credit card, on Fortnite, I reported it like 5-10 mins after he charged it, PlayStation said they denied my claim, but didn’t send me no email stating that. The only way I was able to get through to an actual person was by saying I had hardware difficulties. Every time I called them they said they were closed due to COVID....just talked to highest person, Supervisor and she said I can report to customer affairs.... She treated me like I was not a customer. This has been four months, still nothing back!!! Beware of ever putting your credit card on PlayStation. My credit card was on there from putting Disney plus on there... SCAMMERS!!

    I accidentally purchased the wrong cross-platform version of a game. So I contacted support within the 14 day refund period however since I already downloaded the game to my old PS4 which will never be used again, I cannot get a refund for the purchase. My mistake. Amazing that they can't do better in this day and age however to fix this problem, or just give me the PC version for free considering my account is connected anyway. So no help at all on that matter.

    I asked instead since I hadn't installed the game on a PlayStation 5 because I don't own one, can they at least credit me the $10 difference in price I paid for the "cross platform" version that I cannot even use. They copied and pasted their previous answer to me and ended their customer service chat instead of addressing my new concern. So I am stuck with a game I just digitally purchased from them, that I haven't installed, that they refuse to help me with in any way, when all I want is for the game to be compatible on a system that I use. I know I made a mistake with my purchase but their customer support is terrible and I will never buy another Sony product again.

Look on E-bay there is one guy with 6 PS5 selling them for over 1,000$ each. And over 400 people reselling your product for twice to four times the amount.     Worst service possible. Within 2 minutes of my conversation the correspondent decided to call me an idiot and a liar. So I asked to speak to a supervisor and behold he hung up the phone before I could speak to said supervisor. I called back only to learn that I'm blacklisted for some reason. I originally called because my account got breached by a third party that went on a shopping spree with my credit card. They refused to help me even though the purchases were made somewhere in Africa. I called my bank to dispute these charges and they obviously agreed that it wasn't me who spend 400euro on some games. They charged back the money.

    Behold a day after my bank agrees to the charge back. I get a mail from PlayStation saying my account has been permanently banned because of the charge back. Again I try contacting playstation to inform them on what had happened. Still blacklisted. So in the end I managed to get my money back but in doing so last my account with at least 30-40 games on them. DO NOT BUY GAMES DIGITALLY. PLAYSTATION AND SONY WILL SCAM YOU.

    Had an altercation with another gamer because I beat him and was suspended for 7 days. I came off that suspension and was issued a 30 day suspension without any communication with any other player. Sony never looked into or gave me any explanation.     A few months ago my PlayStation account was hacked and someone used my account information to purchase almost $600 worth of online games. I contacted customer service to dispute these charges and they did not help. I had to go through my credit card company to dispute the charges. When PlayStation saw this they suspended my account. After spending hours on hold and then again on their online chat service (with a supervisor) I was told that the only way I could reactivate my account was to pay the $600 debt on my account caused by the hacker. While trying to continue the conversation and get help they ended the chat while I tried to keep typing. This company has no concern for loyal customers. No wonder all of their side services are dropping one by one. I plan to take my $600 and go invest in an Xbox and you should too.

    I was on PSN for about 6 years now and it was good for the most part. Though I've had my account gang reported on ps3 days so I stopped acting like I did and grew up. Just this week on ps4 I was permanently ban. No warning or pre suspension for commercializing in a message chat which I don't recall doing. My ps4 code gave me a payment error so I thought, "Okay I can pay to get it back." I contacted support 4 times and got an advisor names Luis who rushed the conversation and closed it before I can tell them that creating a new account doesn't solve my issue losing all my store items that I spent over hundreds on and save data over a non-threatening or community app breaking message.

    Ordered a game at full price, never arrived. Once customer service was contacted, I was advised I had purchased the download version...even though full game price was paid. We were given impossible hoops to jump through with no recourse and then given a time out. We were never given an option to download the game, was never assisted in a refund...ended up buying the game from another source.     I got my PS4 free as a promotional bonus working as a contractor some 6 or 7 years ago, and it broke 6 months ago. Not an awful run. Anyway I waited for the Sony repair facility to open after covid and sent it in for repair. I just got it back and here is the thing. They never asked for a credit card or payment. They just fixed it (or it's a new one I don't know yet). Shipped it back at no charge to me, AND they sent me a free game when it came back. That is some impressive customer service.

    My 10 year old son’s PS4 was hacked and they spent over $500. We attempted to contact tech support and after many failed calls and 45 min plus hold times I still haven’t talked to anyone. I called the bank and they tried to call and were unsuccessful. When the bank cancelled the charges Sony cancelled my son PS4 account. He lost all of his in game saved data and all the money he spent on COD from his birthday. This is a freaking joke. I will be buying him an Xbox. DO NOT EVER Purchase a PLayStation. You will eventually regret it.

    Playstations' new software systems locked up my device. Tried all of the online help options. USB option would not download on 2 different computers.     I bought a PS4 less than a year ago and it already runs slower and has constant issues compared to my 7 year old x box. My account was changed without my permission and now all my paid for content is inaccessible. The number they provide is fake and redirected me to scams and ads. They have no interest in customer service and once Sony has your money they're done caring. I have never been scammed so badly by a large corporation and no one can hold them accountable because you can’t even contact them. The PlayStation 4 is a money grabbing machine that has no interest in user friendliness. I will never buy another sony product again.     Switched over from Xbox to the PlayStation, and it was the worst decision I could have made. Have had the console maybe 8 months and the thing already broke down. It’s still under warranty, but Sony isn’t doing online chats or repairs because of the Corona Virus rn? Why? I take great care of the console, never spilt anything on it or dropped the thing. Brought it in to the repairman and he said that everyone is having issues with their new Playstations at the moment. $80 later that particular issue is fixed, but now the damn thing runs so slow, I don’t even bother using it.     I bought my Playstation 4 about 8 months ago after being gone from them for about 15 years. I loved Playstation back then but couldn't afford the new consoles. Well, I signed up for PS Network two months ago and noticed this last month (second payment of the subscription) that Playstation Network was double charging me each month. So I have paid $40.00 for two months instead of $20.00. I attempted to contact Playstation network support but they are essentially not speaking to any of their customers right now for some reason because of the exaggerated virus. So I decided to lodge a complaint with Paypal and they sided with me and refunded $10.00 back to my account (not the full $20, mind you).

    So not only did Playstation still get paid for their month of service, they still have $10.00 of my money. So what do they do? They banned my account and I am unable to speak to anybody to resolve the problem. So here I sit, unable to watch Netflix or do basically anything with my Playstation that I paid money for, with the subscription I paid money for. Playstation stole my money and my service, and essentially stole my PS4 since it is just a giant brick now. Positively disgusting how they are treating customers, especially during lockdown with nothing for people to do.     Have had my PlayStation account for over 10 years with hundreds of games and thousands of hours put into it. I have some mental illness, so to be honest my PlayStation was the only place I could have fun and get a sense of fulfillment in my life. I had 75 platinum trophies and would play everyday. I poured endless hours and was loyal to Sony for years. That is why when I received my permanent ban last week I was extremely confused and distraught. I called Sony support and they inform me the reason for the ban was due to a conversation I had with another player over message. I remember this message and I was only defending myself as he had threatened my life. I do admit to sending swear words but with my illness sometimes it is hard to control myself.

    I tried to ask further as to why I can’t be let off with a suspension at most but alas, nothing can be done apparently. It’s amazing to know that this is how PlayStation treats their loyal customers, everything wiped in an instant without a second chance or any mercy. I have decided I will not be supporting Sony after this, as they truly do not care about their player base. I would advise any other people to stay away from this company. I trusted them for so long and to have my way of life just stripped away in an instant truly has destroyed me.

    When I contacted PlayStation support to help me and keep note that I’ve been a customer for 11 years now and I’ve got suspended from my account because someone called me the ** word and they wouldn’t do anything about it. I’m extremely disappointed and they wouldn’t give me my cash back either or delete my debit cards. So the account is suspended for 30 days now and I told them about it and they wouldn’t do anything about it and I told them the other guy called me the ** word.

    This will be a short review as I sure I'm repeating others words and feeling. My son bought Black Desert through the Store, only to find out after purchasing it that you had to then buy Sony's PS Plus membership to be able to log into the game. I thought "hey we'll get the money back for another game", contacted Sony support and was told once you buy it you cant get a refund!! He can't even get a new game, and with no money coming in due to everyone having to stay home. Big companies need to keep in mind that burning a bridge over a one time mistake/purchase will lose them money in the long run!!!

    These people are rip off freaking thieves. They don’t calculate subtotal amount when you purchase a game from Playstation Store. I have just purchased Doom Eternal and when I checked out they said subtotal is $59.99. However, when I redeemed a $60 card, they added extra $6 out of nowhere!!!! This is total rip off you freaks!!!!!

    I have contacted customer service and I have wrote Consumer Affairs in regards to my children's account being seized through the family management system. Sony has been unwilling to address this issue. I have spent countless hours on hold waiting to speak with a supervisor only to have the worker hang up the phone while I am waiting resetting the process. Their employees have also hung up the phone when I asked for a case number. When I finally received a case number they have placed it under the wrong account so when I call in to get the issue addressed they have to search through other accounts to find that the case number has not been linked to my account.

    Sony has been unwilling to make the transfer of family members to different family accounts easier and if a child under 18 is added to someone's family without the parent's consent Sony leaves no recourse for that parent to maintain supervision of their child's account. This has made me no longer want to do business with Sony and I caution parents who like to supervise their kids on Sony's unwillingness to address these issues.

    I purchased a game from Sony store called Day Z. It is riddled with bugs and damn near unplayable. Quite literally half the time I can't load in. It was difficult to even get ahold of their customer support from the get-go. Anywho it turns out they have zero accountability. Their policy states that they will only refund a game if it isn't downloaded or if it is; it is must be deemed faulty by them.

    I've made over 50 purchases on the store and never had an issue. They receive the money or a portion of it and should be responsible for the products they sell just like any other vendor. Completely dissatisfied. Good old fashioned video game store have more ethics than them. You'd think you'd be happy to give back a meaningless 60 dollars to someone who's invested thousands in their products. But nope. In fact I asked for an example of a game that would be declared faulty by them and the criteria is that it didn't download properly. If you can't load a server how is that an internal issue. Must be something missing in the download files right?

    I was permanently banned from using the PlayStation network service due to trash talking over a message. The punishment doesn’t fit the crime. I understand getting a temporary ban for a month or two. But to be stripped of all my content and access over words between two players in a Competitive environment makes no sense. I’ve spent well over 5k in games and add ons including the yearly subscription to the PlayStation plus service. They are basically robbing me. I want my account back and access. This harsh punishment is unjustified.

    PS4 refuses to honour gift cards that they have admitted are faulty and have had previous errors with. My 9 year old son was gifted two $20 gift cards for his birthday. We attempted to activate them without success. After investigating online we found out others had similar issues with these cards. We called PS4 customer support who confirmed there had been issues with cards sold/purchased this Christmas but without a receipt they couldn’t honour anything and we were out the $40. The fact PS4 admitted it is their issue and their faulty cards but refused to take responsibility for their error speaks to the character of this organization. It also borders on fraud.

    I have been a loyal Sony PlayStation customer for over 10 years now. The fact that you need a PS plus subscription to play some games is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!! You guys have become money grubbing jerks!!!! Then the games you can play with no PS PLUS subscription you make it damn near impossible to win or fully enjoy the game without spending ADDITIONAL money!!!! This is unbelievable and truly sad. It's already bad enough to that jerks make us pay for online which is BS but now on top of that we have to spend extra money to fully enjoy games we spend our hard earned money on and then to add insult to injury now we need gives you jerks an extra $60 bucks a year to enjoy the games fully. ABSOLUTELY LUDICROUS!!!!

    You guys need to rethink this. You guys are losing games every day regardless to whatever sales numbers this is complete BS!!!!! I have tried to not make this a big deal but today was the last straw. I havent played my GTA V in a few months so I decided to update and play, but now you need a PS PLUS account to play GTA V!!!! Complete bs and you guys should be ashamed of this kind stuff. You're taking advantage of people who have been loyal to you and your company for years and this is the thanks we get. YOU GUYS SUCK!!!!
